00:00:00.000 Behind our nation's defense is a powerful network of Canadian communities,
00:00:03.920 supported by Lockheed Martin Canada.
00:00:06.240 It's a network of over 1,300 employees and over 1,000 local suppliers,
00:00:10.880 from small family businesses to major tech firms.
00:00:14.160 Together, we've delivered a $3.6 billion boost to the Canadian economy over the past five years.
00:00:20.000 That's money that goes to securing our skies, our oceans, and the place we call home.
00:00:25.240 Learn more at LockheedMartin.com slash Canada.
00:00:30.000 Hey, on today's podcast, the day before Election Day, why should you vote?
00:00:38.180 Well, God's going to take care of it.
00:00:41.300 I had Frank Turek on today.
00:00:43.400 He answered that.
00:00:44.320 Like, why go shopping?
00:00:45.580 Isn't God going to take care of that?
00:00:46.980 No, you've got to do certain things.
00:00:48.840 Go out and vote.
00:00:49.520 That's where we start, November 2nd, tomorrow.
00:00:52.400 Why?
00:00:52.960 Go out and vote.
00:00:53.560 And how should you look at this election?
00:00:55.660 Frank Turek also joins us.
00:00:57.840 And then we talk a little bit about France and Poland as well.
00:01:01.860 Some of the things that we're facing that are coming our way, all on today's program.
00:01:17.800 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:01:21.680 about half an hour i'm going to talk to you a little bit about what happened in
00:01:28.560 poland but if you're paying attention to poland you probably missed what happened in france
00:01:35.420 something significant on friday happened in france also in germany and around the world
00:01:41.680 especially in china what happened over the weekend in china it leads me to something that we when i
00:01:48.800 got in this morning i said we have to release this special now um so we're releasing it tonight
00:01:53.820 at 7 p.m this is it's something called capital controls it is something a year ago uh last
00:02:01.020 christmas i was writing because i i don't remember what i read but i read some things i thought oh
00:02:06.120 people need to understand this because this when it happens it's going to happen quickly
00:02:10.140 they're called capital controls most people don't understand it so we put it into production right
00:02:14.880 away we we released it a year ago for insiders only so they have had all of this information
00:02:20.400 but it is time to get it out to everyone as far as we can it kind of goes dovetail with my warning
00:02:27.500 from last week um but please watch this special it's called capital controls it'll be at glenn
00:02:33.980 beck it'll be at youtube.com slash glenn beck and you can share it with your friends but please
00:02:39.340 watch it remember it's it was recorded a year ago before the war and everything else um and
00:02:46.560 before the uprisings in europe and i talk about those things coming and how that changes and makes
00:02:52.400 these things more likely uh so please if you are somebody who is trying to understand and prepare
00:02:58.160 so you're not a you know you're not panicking you're actually a leader with everybody else and
00:03:03.460 Your family is safe.
00:03:04.800 Watch Capital Controls tonight.
00:03:07.040 How to survive a financial collapse.
00:03:09.880 Okay.
00:03:11.880 Tomorrow, America votes.
00:03:14.480 Control of the House. 0.96
00:03:15.980 Control of the Senate.
00:03:16.860 The governors.
00:03:17.780 The state houses.
00:03:18.640 The ballot measures that are on in your own town.
00:03:22.820 And the national polls have the Democrats ahead.
00:03:26.160 Several Senate races are too close to call.
00:03:28.300 i don't want to get into any of the poll numbers because i don't want false hope and i don't want
00:03:36.460 false depression either i mean we have learned over and over again the hard way that polls don't
00:03:40.900 vote people vote and everything can change if republicans decide to go out and vote and they
00:03:49.180 might tomorrow wednesday morning millions of americans are going to wake up feeling like the
00:03:55.460 country either just slip through their fingers, maybe that's you, or maybe it's your brother-in-law.
00:04:01.500 And the networks will call it a historic turning point one way or another, because every election
00:04:06.680 is a historic turning point one way or another. And your phone is going to tell you that one side
00:04:12.780 or the other is gloating or plotting. And then by Thanksgiving, just a couple of weeks later,
00:04:18.320 we're all going to be passing potatoes to somebody who they have decided we're the problem,
00:04:24.400 or we've decided they're the problem.
00:04:29.160 I spent a lot of time this weekend thinking,
00:04:31.440 why does our brain work this way?
00:04:33.380 Why do we feel this way?
00:04:35.280 How is it we can be in such an amazing position
00:04:39.040 and nobody's recognizing it?
00:04:41.380 Nobody recognizes the position we were in just a couple of years ago
00:04:45.120 and how that has improved in many, many ways.
00:04:48.880 And I think the answer is that the human brain doesn't measure
00:04:51.760 how good things are.
00:04:54.400 It measures what changed, usually for the worse.
00:04:58.640 Good news fades into wallpaper.
00:05:00.760 Bad news gets hung in a frame, in our head.
00:05:03.300 Why?
00:05:05.260 I was looking at a bunch of different studies this weekend.
00:05:08.160 Researchers studied lottery winners.
00:05:10.080 They found that a year later, they were no happier than anybody else.
00:05:13.680 And they enjoyed the ordinary things less than they did.
00:05:17.780 every generation thinks that it was born into the world which is normal your great-great
00:05:26.940 grandmother watched children die of things we now cure by going to cvs and just grabbing off
00:05:34.160 the shelf a pink liquid she would look at our worst day and call this a miracle we look at
00:05:43.200 our best day and call it a crisis.
00:05:47.700 And I guess you could say,
00:05:49.140 well, we're weaker.
00:05:50.100 No, that's not it, actually.
00:05:52.900 What the problem is,
00:05:54.400 is nobody's ever told us what this costs.
00:05:58.100 We get used to everything.
00:06:00.100 We're used to clean water,
00:06:01.900 full grocery shelves,
00:06:03.740 a phone in your pocket.
00:06:05.040 Did you see how much the new iPhone is from Apple?
00:06:08.100 It's $2,000 to $3,000
00:06:11.300 for a phone
00:06:13.720 and they can't keep them on the shelf.
00:06:17.920 Wait, wait.
00:06:21.060 We're having a problem with our economy
00:06:23.080 and they can't keep a $3,000 phone
00:06:27.840 on the shelf?
00:06:33.900 You know, we live in a country
00:06:35.560 where you can walk into a school gym on a Tuesday,
00:06:38.560 cast a secret ballot,
00:06:39.900 and walk out without a soldier
00:06:41.160 asking you, how did you vote? What we get used to, we stop seeing, and what we stop seeing,
00:06:48.580 we stop defending. That's why people are not going out and voting. They say it's frustration,
00:06:54.460 and I understand that frustration. They say they feel like nobody is responding to them,
00:06:59.000 and I understand that, but you've also forgotten all of the good things.
00:07:04.860 3,000 years ago, Moses warned his people about the exact same thing, not in the desert.
00:07:11.160 In the desert, they were hungry, but at the edge of the promised land,
00:07:15.760 while they were sitting looking at it, he warned them, you're about to get comfortable.
00:07:21.480 When you've eaten and you're full, when you've built great houses, you dwell in them,
00:07:29.740 beware of what you forget.
00:07:32.600 Moses knew it wasn't an empty stomach that was the problem.
00:07:35.820 The full stomach was the problem.
00:07:41.860 We've been here before, and we've been in a situation where it was much worse than this.
00:07:46.940 And the man who showed us the way out did it in one of the darkest years this country ever had.
00:07:53.480 America was tearing itself literally in half, worse than it is now.
00:07:58.120 In May, the union loses at Chancellorsville.
00:08:01.580 In July, Gettysburg.
00:08:03.040 Three days, 50,000 men killed, wounded, or missing.
00:08:07.820 Ten days later, the city of New York erupts in the draft riots, and mobs rule the street for four solid days.
00:08:15.960 In September, the Union Army gets routed again.
00:08:20.940 The president's party had been hammered in the midterms the year before. 1.00
00:08:24.920 The papers called him a tyrant and a fool. 0.98
00:08:29.260 And every family in America just about had an empty chair at the table, or was afraid of one. 0.98
00:08:36.820 Can I ask you, does that sound kind of like where we are today, except worse?
00:08:44.840 It was then on October 3rd that Abraham Lincoln issued, of all things, a proclamation of thanksgiving.
00:08:53.500 Thanksgiving for what? The 600,000 dead?
00:08:58.160 My son not returning to the table?
00:09:01.060 Our economy in shambles?
00:09:02.780 The loss of the Republican Party?
00:09:04.960 for you, the president, Mr. Lincoln, being incompetent, losing every single battle except
00:09:12.080 one up until that point? I'm giving thanks for what?
00:09:19.740 Until then, Thanksgiving was just a patchwork of states, and they picked their own days,
00:09:25.040 and most of them skipped it altogether. Lincoln was the one who said, we're setting aside the
00:09:30.640 last Thursday on November for the whole nation.
00:09:33.400 And we've kept it every year since.
00:09:37.260 The holiday that we're about to celebrate
00:09:39.780 was born in the middle of America's bloodiest war.
00:09:45.800 I urge you, go back and read the thing. 0.93
00:09:49.600 Because you'd expect a wartime president
00:09:51.600 to talk about the enemy.
00:09:53.060 He doesn't.
00:09:54.340 He makes a list of all of the good things.
00:09:58.100 The fields are fruitful.
00:09:59.520 The skies are healthy. 0.71
00:10:02.040 The war hadn't stopped.
00:10:07.780 They didn't stop, in his words, the plow, the shuttle, or the ship.
00:10:11.920 The mines and the iron and the coal yielded more than ever.
00:10:15.300 The population had grown.
00:10:16.840 And in the middle of the bloodiest war in American history,
00:10:19.380 the President of the United States takes an inventory of our blessings.
00:10:24.840 Then he says where they came from.
00:10:27.400 No human counsel hath devised, nor hath any mortal hand worked out these great things.
00:10:33.980 And he asked the country for two things at once.
00:10:38.040 Humble penitence, please humble yourself.
00:10:43.680 For what he called our national pervertedness and disobedience.
00:10:50.580 He asked us to care for the widows and the orphans and the mourners of the war on all sides.
00:10:55.600 He didn't say union widows.
00:10:57.800 He said all of them.
00:10:59.500 He wasn't ignoring the war.
00:11:01.300 He was refusing to let the war be the only thing he could see.
00:11:10.340 I don't know what happens tomorrow.
00:11:12.600 I don't know what happens next week.
00:11:14.020 I don't know what happens next year or five years or ten years.
00:11:16.640 I don't know.
00:11:18.080 But this is how people get through hard times.
00:11:20.820 Not by pretending it's not hard.
00:11:22.840 but by remembering it's not the whole story.
00:11:30.380 If our side wins on Tuesday, please don't gloat.
00:11:35.420 The people who lost are still our neighbors,
00:11:38.220 and the pendulum always, always swings back.
00:11:42.200 If your side loses, you'll still wake up in a country
00:11:46.720 where you get to try again in two years.
00:11:49.340 For most of human history, losing power meant losing your head.
00:11:54.400 Here it means, jeez, we've got to go back out and fight again.
00:12:00.400 And if it feels worse today than it ever has been, remember 1863.
00:12:07.040 Hell, remember 2023.
00:12:14.720 I spent a lot of time this weekend thinking, how did we get here?
00:12:19.340 How did we get here? What could we have done? What could I have done? What could I have said
00:12:25.080 differently? How could I wake people? You know what? I realized I'm just trying to reinvent the
00:12:30.400 Old Testament, I think, because the answers are all there. Remember. Remember. A nation doesn't
00:12:39.040 get hollowed out in one election. It gets hollowed out one forgotten blessing at a time,
00:12:45.440 and it gets rebuilt exactly the same way.
00:12:50.000 So I don't know what happens tomorrow.
00:12:54.980 The only thing I'm afraid of
00:12:56.580 is that we cannot check back in with God on Wednesday
00:13:01.160 and say, yes, I did my part.
00:13:04.920 Because it's only after all that we have done,
00:13:08.900 all that we can do, that he steps up.
00:13:12.320 He doesn't pick you up at the bottom of the mountain.
00:13:14.940 You got to climb the mountain.
00:13:16.980 And then when you're hanging on by a thread, that's when he steps in and says, come on, I got you, I got you, I got you.
00:13:22.160 Let me boost you up.
00:13:24.080 For anybody who's thinking, oh, well, God's going to take care of it.
00:13:26.920 No, he's not.
00:13:29.340 You must do your part.
00:13:36.320 Then he makes up the difference after all that we can do.
00:13:41.200 That's my only concern about tomorrow, because no matter what happens, if we've all done all that we can do, it'll be good.
00:13:52.980 We may not win, but it'll be good.
00:13:55.540 We might win.
00:13:57.040 I don't know.
00:14:01.140 But I want to stop being so short-sighted.
00:14:04.840 I suggest we take Abraham Lincoln.
00:14:06.940 and remember make this month a month of remembering every night at dinner somebody at the
00:14:15.880 table tell one story about the time the family was carried through a storm that one time the
00:14:22.000 the job grandpa lost and the one he found the test results that you were certain were going
00:14:28.700 to come back bad and they came back clean the year there was no money for christmas
00:14:33.840 and somebody left a box on the porch.
00:14:37.820 Tell the hard part first.
00:14:42.120 Then tell how you got through it
00:14:43.860 and notice how much better your life is today than it was then.
00:14:50.620 You know, researchers have found that kids who know their family story,
00:14:55.360 the falls and the comebacks,
00:14:56.720 are more resilient than the kids who don't.
00:15:00.460 They need to know.
00:15:02.740 They come from people who don't quit.
00:15:09.040 Once a week, picture your life without something you take for granted today.
00:15:13.220 Your wife, your husband, your knees.
00:15:18.860 The freedom to say out loud what you said out loud at the dinner table last night.
00:15:25.640 Or while you were talking to the TV and no one was listening.
00:15:29.240 Gratitude does not come from counting what you have.
00:15:31.920 It comes from realizing how easily you might have never had it.
00:15:39.200 And then on Thanksgiving, do what Lincoln did.
00:15:42.280 Make a list.
00:15:43.160 Write it down.
00:15:44.060 Your fields, your plow, your shuttle, your ship.
00:15:49.460 Hope isn't optimism.
00:15:51.060 Optimism says it's all going to work out based on nothing.
00:15:55.220 Hope says we've been here before.
00:15:57.540 We've been carried before.
00:15:59.120 And here's the receipt.
00:16:01.540 Lincoln didn't know how the war was going to end when he signed that proclamation.
00:16:05.180 He didn't know if he was going to be reelected.
00:16:07.400 He didn't realize that within 18 months he would be dead.
00:16:11.560 But he gave thanks anyway.
00:16:14.300 And his country still gives thanks.
00:16:17.560 And we're still here.
00:16:20.520 Just know a free people is not measured by who wins tomorrow.
00:16:24.660 It's measured by what it remembers the day after tomorrow.
00:16:30.560 go vote then go home and start remembering
00:16:37.780 this is the best of the glenbeck program
00:16:43.900 when you send your daughter to play sports you expect her to face competition you know there's
00:16:53.780 a possibility she's going to get hurt and that's part of sports but you also expect that people
00:16:58.040 responsible for her safety are honest about who she's competing against in washington state a 0.96
00:17:03.960 high school sophomore named kaylee keeler says she was sexually assaulted during a wrestling
00:17:09.400 tournament only afterward did she learn that her opponent was a biological male who identifies as
00:17:15.440 a girl washington's policies allow male athletes to compete in girls high school sports without
00:17:21.620 requiring schools to disclose the information to the girls who are competing against them or to
00:17:25.980 their parents. Well, now, Callie is fighting back. With the help of Alliance Defending Freedom, 0.99
00:17:31.600 she's challenging that policy and pursuing her case at the Supreme Court. This is about the
00:17:35.860 safety of your daughter and my daughter, the rights of parents, and whether schools can withhold
00:17:40.580 information that families deserve to have. I want you to text BEC to 83848 or join ADF.com slash BEC
00:17:50.140 today.
00:17:55.980 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:18:07.420 All right, I want to go to Warsaw here in a minute.
00:18:10.020 What happened in Poland is confusing and hard to understand, but it is absolutely coming here.
00:18:15.620 And if I have time, I'm going to show you all of the ties to the very people that have been exposed here recently, 0.97
00:18:23.640 but also including some of the politicians that are running and one that's out campaigning, Barack Obama.
00:18:31.020 But we'll get into that a little later.
00:18:33.100 First, let me tell you about what happened Friday after dark in Paris.
00:18:36.560 Friday night after the markets closed, Fitch, the ratings agency, did something ratings agencies never do.
00:18:46.400 It did not wait for its scheduled review.
00:18:48.720 It called an unscheduled one, and it cut France's outlook to negative.
00:18:54.480 What that means is you're going in to borrow a big loan, and you really need that money.
00:19:01.940 And all of a sudden, the credit service just says, no, no, no, you're worth $300, not $600.
00:19:11.640 And they did it right after the markets closed because they did not want to affect the markets because this is a very big deal.
00:19:18.300 Same day, France learned its economy had shrunk.
00:19:21.580 Inflation also hit its highest level in three years.
00:19:24.440 The country is now borrowing a record 340 billion euros next year.
00:19:29.100 That may not sound like a lot to us because we print our own money.
00:19:33.380 They can't.
00:19:34.920 The interest alone is now heading towards $100 billion a year.
00:19:39.380 Fitch sees this debt passing 124% in everything that France produces.
00:19:44.680 That number is not the number that actually matters.
00:19:50.580 Fitch named the streets.
00:19:53.140 It warned that ongoing protests threatened to make all of this worse.
00:19:57.520 So it's telling its investors, hey, if you want to buy something in France, you should be warned.
00:20:02.760 We're saying this is not a safe bet.
00:20:05.140 It said nothing about the presidential campaign, except that it has no confidence that any party is going to fix things.
00:20:13.940 Now, a few days earlier, Moody's decided not to downgrade France.
00:20:18.640 It expects social tensions to ease.
00:20:20.860 Yeah, fat chance.
00:20:22.000 Moody's is betting on calm streets in Paris.
00:20:24.980 S&P rules in four weeks.
00:20:27.900 Last week, I told you that I fear war is coming to Europe, and it probably will not look like tanks.
00:20:34.560 And I said, brace for impact.
00:20:37.180 This is one of the places where the impact starts. 1.00
00:20:39.820 The other is Poland. 1.00
00:20:41.840 That is exactly what I mean when I said brace for impact.
00:20:45.900 A war could be breaking out, but it's not going to be tanks in the streets.
00:20:50.200 That's the beginnings of something possibly in Poland.
00:20:56.160 I want to stay optimistic. 1.00
00:20:58.480 Since September, France has burned, high schools blockaded, cars on fire,
00:21:02.760 quarter of a million people on the street in a single day.
00:21:05.220 The yellow vests are back.
00:21:06.960 And the prime minister's own office says this is not a spontaneous, you know, group.
00:21:17.280 This is an operation, according to the president of France, organized by the hard left.
00:21:25.260 Jean-Luc Mélenchon, his party and his allies, they call that a conspiracy theory.
00:21:31.200 Of course they do.
00:21:32.540 Now, Mélenchon is running for president.
00:21:34.140 And I want you to know, he's not going to win, but I want you to hear this.
00:21:38.060 This is all my theory, but I want you to hear this.
00:21:40.720 His platform is to lower the retirement age and give everyone a bigger check.
00:21:47.140 Now, in a country where the banks are saying, we can't trust you, there's no more money in the till, how do you do that?
00:21:56.560 Well, there's 600 billion euros of France's debt that's sitting in its own central bank.
00:22:02.560 And his plan is to go in there and just take all of those receipts and burn them, literally.
00:22:09.580 And people want to believe this will work, but they've tried it in France, you know, around the time of the revolution, and it doesn't work.
00:22:17.660 Now, he's not going to win, I don't believe.
00:22:21.020 Every poll says Marine Le Pen beats him, and it's not even close.
00:22:26.760 But the presidency may not be the prize he's looking for.
00:22:31.720 Leftists and communists, they're not good at ruling anything or solving problems. 0.98
00:22:35.360 They're good at burning, killing, and jailing.
00:22:37.840 Now, if you were a leftist, would you want the power given to you of a country where the bond market and the banks are no longer willing to wait on you to make it?
00:22:48.640 And you're going to take it and give more money away.
00:22:50.980 What do you think is going to happen?
00:22:53.980 Because the person who wins has to come in and cut benefits. 1.00
00:22:58.360 Take care of the immigrant crisis. 1.00
00:22:59.860 Tell the citizens that voted for you, you're not going to get everything that we promised. 1.00
00:23:06.280 One message wins, and that's not the message that wins.
00:23:11.460 The one that wins is, I'm going to give you everything, or the one that Le Pen is giving.
00:23:16.460 She's saying, I'm going to be responsible, and she says, I'm going to save $140 billion in savings.
00:23:22.300 Except she's expecting to get it back from Brussels.
00:23:26.780 Brussels doesn't hand money back.
00:23:29.860 And when it doesn't, she's going to have to make cuts, and that will land on pensions, old people, paychecks, schools, teachers, the very people who voted for her.
00:23:39.980 The one that doesn't win can say this is a betrayal of the people, and the people shouldn't stand for it, and they should take to the streets.
00:23:49.760 And when they do, whoever did win is going to have to crack down.
00:23:53.840 And when they do that, the opposition will cry fascism.
00:23:57.460 fascism and the streets are already organized not by one movement but by two one is red hard left 0.70
00:24:04.100 union students slogans seats in parliament and the other is green the islamic network
00:24:09.960 the networks france's own government has published a report on the muslim brotherhood
00:24:18.200 they're saying it's working its way into all of the schools the clubs and the city halls and the
00:24:23.120 government. Melenchon's response was that that's Islamophobia and it's beyond pale now. One of his
00:24:29.920 party members in the European Parliament said that, he said this on radio, that Hamas is a legitimate 0.79
00:24:35.660 action under international law. Hamas. Sounds like Michigan, doesn't it? So this month, prosecutors
00:24:45.140 asked for a suspended prison sentence against Le Pen. No, sorry, against this woman for defending 0.95
00:24:52.860 terrorism. Le Pen is also going to head back to court because they may say, the EU may say,
00:25:00.320 she's too dangerous and she can't run. What do you think is going to happen?
00:25:04.960 Now, nobody wants the same future. The red and the green do not want the same future. 0.59
00:25:11.040 Islamists want God's law. They want Sharia law. What they both share is a same goal. They hate 0.91
00:25:17.640 Israel, America, the banks, Brussels, the secular French Republic itself, they all agree on what 0.60
00:25:25.480 has to burn. They've decided they'll argue later about what's going to get built. And this is
00:25:32.260 exactly what happened in Iran in 1979. It happened exactly the same way. The Shah had spent an oil
00:25:41.680 fortune building a modern country. The bill came due. Inflation was running hot. His government
00:25:46.340 had to do the responsible thing. It cut spending. Construction stopped. Thousands of young men who
00:25:51.760 had come to Tehran for jobs, suddenly standing around in the slums with nothing to do. Two
00:25:57.080 movements found them, the Marxist and the clergy, the mosques. They hated each other, but they stood 0.98
00:26:04.000 together and they overthrew. September of 1978, the Shah declares martial law. That same morning,
00:26:11.320 A crowd gathers in Tehran Square, soldiers open fire, and then what happens?
00:26:18.880 They're fascists, and now everybody is in the street.
00:26:23.540 That is very likely what is going to happen in France.
00:26:30.060 Now, what happened in Poland?
00:26:32.680 This is a global communist Marxist effort.
00:26:38.140 I'm going to do my best to explain it, but there's a key to this one, and I'll explain that at the end.
00:26:45.820 Friday night, same time France, Warsaw, police are standing guard at the doors of Poland's highest court when one judge removes another judge.
00:26:58.860 It's called the Constitutional Tribunal, and what that is is their Supreme Court.
00:27:03.780 It decides whether a law is allowed.
00:27:05.800 Well, Friday evening, its website announced that the chief judge had been suspended, not by parliament, not by impeachment, by the longest serving judge on the court, who declared herself in charge.
00:27:19.640 And Poland's president had never accepted her oath.
00:27:23.920 That is constitutional.
00:27:26.140 So protesters start to gather in front of their Supreme Court.
00:27:29.240 Some threw things at police.
00:27:31.000 Police enter the building.
00:27:32.760 The president of Poland, he's on a plane to Africa, Senegal, I think.
00:27:36.800 He has to turn around, flies back.
00:27:39.020 He goes to the court in the dead of night.
00:27:41.580 He says he personally helped the suspended chief judge back into the building.
00:27:45.500 They had to climb over the fence because the riot police were there,
00:27:50.260 because the tribunal controls the police.
00:27:52.940 Prime minister goes on national television,
00:27:55.320 says the rule of law must beat the rule of the jungle.
00:27:58.460 The president called it a breach of constitutional order,
00:28:01.580 Now prosecutors want to strip the old court leaders of their immunity.
00:28:05.520 This is headed towards a banana republic. 0.92
00:28:08.840 It's a foreign soap opera. 1.00
00:28:11.460 But picture it as Major League Football. 0.97
00:28:15.080 Because here's the caveat to this story.
00:28:17.140 There is no real true good guy in there.
00:28:19.560 There's guys that I hope win, but they made mistakes along the way because they compromised.
00:28:25.340 Don't ever compromise your values. 0.99
00:28:28.840 Because it'll come bite you in the ass like it is now. 0.99
00:28:31.580 So for eight years, one team ran the NFL league office, the home team, the conservatives, the Poland first crowd. 0.99
00:28:41.520 While they ran it, they fired all the referees who had been properly hired and put in two of their own.
00:28:47.420 Two of Europe's top courts later ruled the referee crew wasn't legitimate.
00:28:55.260 So then they go into election.
00:28:57.420 The visitors win the league office.
00:28:59.200 the pro-Brussels people, the pro-European Union crowd.
00:29:03.480 They say, we're going to clean up all of the referees.
00:29:08.940 But the commissioner, the man who actually is designated to hand out the striped shirts,
00:29:15.360 he's still from the home team.
00:29:17.940 And he's like, I'm not putting these referees into the game.
00:29:21.380 And the head referee, also from the home team, wouldn't let the new ones onto the field.
00:29:27.720 So on Friday, when the head of the NFL is out of the country, the visitors stopped asking. 0.98
00:29:34.340 And one of their referees put the head referee hat on, benched the old one, and then security stood in the locker room and said, get your crap and get out. 0.93
00:29:45.740 Now, who's right? 0.96
00:29:48.540 Okay, so here's where it gets messy.
00:29:51.180 The government is probably right that the old court was stacked.
00:29:54.320 That's why you don't stack courts.
00:29:55.900 the president is right you don't fix stacking a court by having a judge crown herself while police
00:30:03.080 hold the door even legal experts who oppose the conservatives say the suspension has no clear
00:30:09.500 basis in law the prime minister himself admitted my methods aren't to everybody's liking well that's
00:30:16.740 what adolf hitler said after the long knives you know hey i i saved the constitution and you know
00:30:22.620 you're not going to like it all right whatever here's the thing both teams broke the rule book
00:30:27.200 okay you can't do that you can't break the rule book to save the rule book
00:30:31.980 okay so what is this really all about the team that kind of did a coup
00:30:41.180 they are pro brussels the polish people do not want to join the european union why because their
00:30:50.940 economy is doing great their streets are safe they have more gold this is a key they have more
00:30:57.820 gold in the the treasury of poland than europe does they have tons and tons and tons and tons
00:31:06.620 of gold and because their economy is doing well they've been buying gold they've been shoring
00:31:10.740 themselves up so the prime minister and the new court people they want the old court people out
00:31:19.280 because they're saying we have to acquiesce and become part of the European Union.
00:31:25.300 The European Union wants them in because they're the only engine that is working in Europe.
00:31:31.220 Maybe we can save France. 1.00
00:31:32.900 Maybe we can save Italy if we strap all of that onto the Polish people. 1.00
00:31:40.580 You think the Polish people are going to want to do that? 1.00
00:31:42.800 Not a million years.
00:31:44.060 And by the way, the EU, by doing that, gets a portion of their gold.
00:31:52.100 Not going to happen.
00:31:54.240 Not going to happen.
00:31:55.100 If it does, it's not going to, it won't end well.
00:31:59.360 It will not end well.
00:32:02.840 Now, one more thing.
00:32:06.040 Today, Beijing is buying their own stock market again.
00:32:09.900 China's biggest companies fell 8.5% in October
00:32:14.820 12 straight weeks down
00:32:16.880 This is the worst month in a decade
00:32:18.800 And the central bank and the regulators are going to meet today
00:32:22.780 To find more state money from the Chinese government
00:32:26.660 To just pour it in
00:32:29.080 For their third rescue this year
00:32:32.700 What are they propping up?
00:32:35.420 It's not going to go over well
00:32:37.280 what are they propping up what's taking their stock market down the ai stocks
00:32:45.200 now look across the map france can't pass a budget
00:32:51.960 it's borrowing is just it broke five percent for the first time in 2002 paris has fires in the
00:33:00.980 street poland prime minister the president fighting over controls they're going to possibly
00:33:06.660 slip into a banana republic if they start arresting people.
00:33:10.320 Then you have, in China, propping up their own stocks.
00:33:13.780 And then here in the U.S., our stock market rests on a handful of companies
00:33:18.980 that are not turning a profit, and they're all AI.
00:33:25.840 This is why I said you need to prepare.
00:33:29.120 This is why we're releasing tonight at 7 p.m. at youtube.com slash Glenn Beck,
00:33:34.580 a special that I did a year ago for the insiders.
00:33:37.700 It's called Capital Controls.
00:33:39.740 You don't know what that is?
00:33:41.180 Don't worry.
00:33:41.840 You're not alone.
00:33:43.180 But it is something you must know what it is.
00:33:46.560 Ever heard the rich get richer?
00:33:48.940 Why?
00:33:49.520 Because they see signs and respond.
00:33:52.340 I'm going to show you all of the signs tonight at 7 p.m.
00:33:56.480 Do not miss this.
00:33:58.360 YouTube.com slash Glenn Beck 7 p.m. tonight.
00:34:04.580 you're listening to the best of the glenbeck program
00:34:09.140 christmas is when we remember what we actually believe not the watered down version the real
00:34:32.580 one. Family around the same table, the same stories, the same room. We call it Christmas
00:34:37.360 because that's what it is. A lot of places won't say it anymore. They'll say it's the holidays.
00:34:42.760 Like the word itself is something you have to step around. Well, we won't do that. Christmas
00:34:47.240 is Christmas. And that same feeling used to live in the things that we bought. We used to care
00:34:52.420 where something was made. When we were told it was cheap and fast, you know, that wasn't good
00:34:57.000 enough, but now it is. And we've stopped asking. American Giant never stopped. American Cotton,
00:35:01.320 American factories, American hands, clothing built heavy, honest, meant to be worn year after year.
00:35:07.720 We now see the cost of cheap, lost jobs, lost towns, and a lost generation.
00:35:11.860 This Christmas, put something under the tree made by people who still take pride in what they do.
00:35:16.640 American made, American quality, an American idea.
00:35:20.040 American-Giant.com slash Glenn.
00:35:22.400 Use my name, get 20% off your first order.
00:35:24.760 American-Giant.com slash Glenn.
00:35:31.320 this is the best of the glenn beck program and we really want to thank you for listening
00:35:37.020 so welcome to the program tomorrow is election day and i have to tell you i have never seen
00:35:50.820 a more clear-cut case in some in some uh cases for instance in texas i know it seems hard to
00:36:00.320 figure out gee i don't know i don't like ken paston he kind of seems yeah he cheated on his
00:36:05.100 wife i don't like it at all um you know it's not the way he dresses uh you know it's some of his
00:36:11.200 morals that he has had but you put him next to talarico the guy is he's barack obama with uh
00:36:20.060 reverend wright i mean it's it's the same story we've already seen this movie before we know how
00:36:24.320 that ends um when it comes to el saeed this is crazy and what i can't get my arms around is
00:36:32.120 frank turk calls it the war on reality he's got a book out called the war on reality and that's
00:36:37.140 what it is we have had a war on reality where nothing makes sense anymore because none of the
00:36:44.320 el saeed would not be even in the running 10 years ago but we have so distorted our reality
00:36:52.740 how do we get it back what does it all mean frank welcome to the program how are you
00:36:58.740 glenn great being back with you i enjoyed your monologue the other day about scott wiener and
00:37:06.160 should we should we take history lessons from scott wiener or from john adams that's what i
00:37:15.140 want to know i don't know i don't know so frank i am looking at i mean let me give you the quote
00:37:21.540 of somebody I talked about this last hour with Haley Stevens you know she came out and uh she
00:37:28.580 said um you know she she can't support El Saeed and she's going to vote for Mike Rogers so this
00:37:35.380 this is actually was a statement from a senate senate democratic aide uh El Saeed will still
00:37:41.860 win Haley swings no votes at this point she just lit her career on fire for no reason 0.99
00:37:46.940 that used to be the sign you have principles that's right yeah yeah she's she's actually
00:37:55.160 speaking as a stateswoman rather than a politician i'm more concerned about my country than i am
00:38:01.880 about supporting my party right because look as you know glennon you've been sounding the alarm 0.97
00:38:07.000 on this for for many years this is a 1400 year old problem islam it's not something that just 0.78
00:38:14.720 that just was sort of foisted upon us on 9-11. This has been going on for 1400 years that the 0.94
00:38:21.360 Muslim world in general has tried to get the rest of the world to submit to Islam because Islam 0.98
00:38:27.640 means submission. And El-Sahid is not really hiding it very well. I mean, his ads are basically 0.97
00:38:35.500 anti-Semitic basically yeah Jewish people for for food prices yes and and and Miss Stevens to her
00:38:44.960 credit she's engaged to a Jewish man and what last week they said they're going to split their vote
00:38:50.820 and now she's saying look I just can't do this anymore I I can't I can't support this guy I'm
00:38:56.200 sorry he's not good for the country and and she's right so uh Jen Psaki comes out former White House 0.93
00:39:01.780 spokesperson said she's only doing that because she's engaged to a jewish man oh again again 0.85
00:39:09.080 something that you know i don't i've not heard people say things like that out loud since i
00:39:16.300 don't know 1944 well glenn this is what cultural marxism does to people it makes them think in
00:39:23.460 terms of identities rather than in the personal behavior of the people they're evaluating you
00:39:29.680 You know, if you're a white, Christian, heterosexual male citizen, you're automatically considered an oppressor.
00:39:34.920 On the other hand, if you're a person of color, if you're LGBTQ, if you're a non-Christian, if you're a non-citizen,
00:39:41.580 bonus points if you came across the border illegally, you're automatically considered oppressed.
00:39:46.420 And here's the real kicker, Glenn. This is regardless of your personal behavior.
00:39:50.980 You could be a saint, but if you have the qualities of an oppressor, you're an oppressor.
00:39:55.360 You could be a convicted felon, but that's OK. You're oppressed. We can't do anything to enforce the law against you because that would be unkind.
00:40:03.900 How is how is El Saeed going to square this? I mean, he's playing a dangerous game.
00:40:10.280 He's playing. I'm not really a Marxist. I'm not really an Islamist. And both sides believe that he is.
00:40:17.580 And he you know, he is clearly an Islamist, in my opinion. He's clearly an Islamist. 0.75
00:40:25.360 And the things that he has done, said, apologized for, didn't apologize for all go into the Islamist category. 0.62
00:40:33.680 He was just asked about men and women's sports.
00:40:36.580 And he said, you're going to find out about it on the Internet anyway.
00:40:39.420 So it's not a problem.
00:40:40.860 How do you square that with the Sharia law kind of believing Islamist? 0.86
00:40:48.100 Well, that's because according to cultural Marxism, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. 0.87
00:40:52.860 And the enemy of these people is basically Jesus. I know they won't say that outright, but it's Christianity. So this is where you get gays for Gaza. You know, you get people who are considered oppressed looking at somebody else who's considered oppressed. Oh, Muslims are oppressed. Oh, I'm for them. When they don't seem to realize, or maybe they do, if they go to Gaza, they're going to be thrown off buildings. 0.71
00:41:14.460 This is the kind of madness that cultural Marxism brings people.
00:41:18.400 It's a complete war on reality.
00:41:20.940 It's a war on common sense.
00:41:22.520 It's a war on history.
00:41:23.900 It's a war on decency.
00:41:25.280 It's a war on Jesus.
00:41:26.760 Other than that, it's just absolutely fine.
00:41:29.020 So how do you fight it, Frank?
00:41:32.940 Well, programs like yours help.
00:41:35.840 Books.
00:41:36.880 You've written books.
00:41:37.820 I've written books.
00:41:38.920 Trying to educate people.
00:41:40.560 How about private education?
00:41:42.040 That would be a good thing, Glenn.
00:41:43.160 And the Democrats are against it because their idea of education is the teachers unions, not the students.
00:41:49.980 Competition makes everything better, except when it comes to education, apparently, according to these Democrats,
00:41:55.600 because they don't want to give school choice to parents so they can get their kids out of failing schools.
00:42:00.780 These failing schools are a monopoly. And yet they don't want to give parents the opportunity to get their kids in a school that will actually teach them the truth rather than propaganda.
00:42:13.160 I hesitate to ask you this because I don't want to put you in a situation where you're like,
00:42:17.940 oh, jeez.
00:42:18.420 And then I went on to the Beck show and he talked about this.
00:42:21.060 But I...
00:42:22.220 That's okay.
00:42:22.740 Enough people hate me already, Glenn.
00:42:24.040 Let's go.
00:42:24.580 All right.
00:42:24.740 I am, and I'm not alone.
00:42:30.060 I have so many friends in my life and so many people I respect that are feeling every alarm
00:42:36.840 bell go off in them right now.
00:42:38.880 that what is coming our way is different than anything we have experienced yet do you feel
00:42:47.140 this way i i wonder i do but i wonder if it is what you were talking about in the last hour
00:42:54.460 when you were talking about how we kind of get our normalcy from when we were born and what we live
00:43:01.420 in i mean compared to the rest of the world we're on easy street oh yeah i know you know i mean
00:43:08.400 there are 50 Charlie Kirks murdered every day in Nigeria and nobody says boo, right? The media
00:43:15.260 is silent about it. We think that because we have spotty Wi-Fi or high gas prices, whereas in Europe
00:43:23.620 it's $9 a gallon, Glenn. I know. And we can't sacrifice a little bit to ensure a jihadist
00:43:31.740 government doesn't get a nuke. I mean, we're not a serious country if we think that. 0.97
00:43:38.400 What happens tomorrow, do you think, Frank? And how do we get through it? Let's say it's bad tomorrow. What's your advice?
00:43:47.860 Just like you said in the previous hour, we just got to regroup, love our neighbors, even if they're on the other side of the issue, and move forward for 2028.
00:43:58.840 But of course, politics is only a small piece of it.
00:44:00.840 We have to start having more children.
00:44:02.680 We have to start bringing up our children right.
00:44:04.420 We have to start investing in marriage rather than the idea that marriage is something that isn't to be honored.
00:44:12.460 We have to get back to family.
00:44:14.640 We have to get back to faith.
00:44:16.140 faith in christ we have to get back to a defending freedom it's not all political
00:44:21.700 um and uh in order to do that we have to stand up and when one person stands up it encourages
00:44:28.860 other people to stand up you know there's a there's an old saying in the soviet union glenn
00:44:33.160 it goes like this uh the the the future is known the past is always changing and they said that
00:44:41.940 because they knew if they could control
00:44:43.660 what people think about the past,
00:44:45.880 they could guarantee the future.
00:44:48.160 And a lot of people are trying to get us to think
00:44:49.820 that this country is evil,
00:44:51.420 that because of our past sins, it's irredeemable.
00:44:53.900 We need to tear it down and put up a new structure.
00:44:56.720 That's not true.
00:44:57.940 But yet people are trying to get us to believe that
00:45:00.100 and they want us to vote for people
00:45:01.460 who want to tear down the country.
00:45:03.180 So are you, you know, last time we were together,
00:45:05.180 we were for the one-year anniversary memorial
00:45:08.200 of Charlie's death.
00:45:09.480 And I was so optimistic standing in front of that crowd and listening to that crowd, mainly young people, you know, just in college.
00:45:21.720 and i i just feel like there is there is a tide coming in with the youth that is stronger honestly
00:45:34.180 stronger in many ways than we have been in my lifetime um they are they're starting i just saw
00:45:41.880 a report that they are starting to read that they are voracious readers of books they're rejecting
00:45:48.060 a lot of the stuff that has been crammed down everybody's throats, and they're more conservative
00:45:52.700 than some of their counterparts at my age. Are you optimistic? I am, and this was happening
00:45:59.220 before Charlie was murdered, that there was a move in that direction, Glenn, and then I think
00:46:04.380 it accelerated upon Charlie's murder, despite the fact we've had all this demonic attacks from
00:46:08.880 some folks out there, particularly on Erika and TPUSA, and Bible sales are up, and more people
00:46:15.780 are going to church and more people are accepting Jesus as their savior. So that is a good thing.
00:46:21.040 But with regard to politics, Glenn, you know, 50% of Christians won't vote tomorrow. 1.00
00:46:25.600 90% of Muslims will. Christians could control every election in this country, 0.96
00:46:30.380 including in blue states like California, but we don't because we're not engaged.
00:46:34.540 We're not engaged because we bought into the false idea that Christians ought not be involved
00:46:39.240 in politics. And I always ask people, if you don't think you ought to be involved in politics,
00:46:44.040 You haven't been to some of the countries I've been to.
00:46:46.100 They say, oh, I just preached the gospel. 0.99
00:46:47.640 You can't preach the gospel in Iran.
00:46:49.680 I've been there.
00:46:50.460 There's no First Baptist Church of Tehran.
00:46:52.340 I've been to Saudi Arabia a couple of times.
00:46:54.340 There's no Calvary Chapel of Mecca.
00:46:56.180 If you want to start a church in Egypt, you're going to have trouble.
00:46:58.720 We just got back from there a year ago.
00:47:00.840 And if you try and start a church there, politically, they're going to shut you down.
00:47:05.620 And all the people you saved out of Afghanistan, why did you have to get them out of there?
00:47:09.480 Because politically, they won't allow Christianity there. 0.76
00:47:12.580 And if for no other reason we have to be engaged politically and put the right people in office is to protect our right to preach and live the gospel.
00:47:20.200 And secondly, because we love people and we want laws put in place that protect them from evil.
00:47:24.880 In fact, maybe the mic drop question is this when it comes to this issue, Glenn.
00:47:28.620 I ask people this when they say, oh, don't we get involved in politics?
00:47:31.820 I just preach the gospel.
00:47:32.900 I say, you telling me that 165 years ago, Christians should not have gotten involved politically to outlaw slavery. 0.96
00:47:40.020 At that point, they normally say, well, we should have. 0.99
00:47:42.100 I said, welcome to politics.
00:47:43.340 You can't avoid it.
00:47:44.380 If you don't care now, you're going to be made to care.
00:47:46.680 Get enough ELSA leads in office and you'll be made to care because you're going to be able to do what you want to do in terms of your faith, in terms of your religion, in terms of your free enterprise.
00:47:55.500 You're not going to be able to do it if you get the wrong people in office. 0.69
00:47:57.900 Can you address people who, because I hear this from Christians all the time and it drives me out of my mind, address people who say, you know what, God's going to work it out. 0.84
00:48:07.160 I'm not going to vote. 0.91
00:48:08.040 oh why do you go to the store and eat god's going to work it out you know why do you go buy groceries
00:48:15.380 god's going to work it out why do you get married god's going to work it out why do you have kids
00:48:19.660 god's got god he didn't tell us to sit here and be and be houseplants you know he told us to be
00:48:26.740 salt and light to occupy till i come to love your neighbor that involves you being active not
00:48:32.820 passive. And yes, we win in the end, but we don't know when the end's coming. And when people ask
00:48:38.760 me, you know, when is the end coming? I go, I don't know. Jesus didn't know as a man. He knew
00:48:42.200 as God, but not as a man. And I'm not on the planning committee. I'm on the welcoming. All
00:48:46.840 right. That's a great line. Let's just let's just do what he told us to do and leave the results to
00:48:54.900 him. Well, they will say that politics and you've already answered this, but they'll say politics is
00:48:58.940 He said, leave that to Caesar what's Caesar's.
00:49:02.360 No, no, you, after all that you can do, he will come in.
00:49:07.980 And I started the show today with that, that my only concern here about tomorrow is, after all that we can do, is our side doing all that we can do?
00:49:19.840 I know the left is, I know the Muslims are, I know the Marxists are, are we? 0.56
00:49:25.840 Well, we'll see by tomorrow.
00:49:28.540 I'm cautiously optimistic, actually, but I don't know what's going to happen.
00:49:32.320 Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House, he's saying he's just saying this because he's in his position.
00:49:36.320 But it is true, Glenn.
00:49:37.380 We've seen this time and time again.
00:49:39.100 The polls always underestimate Republican support.
00:49:42.100 Three to five points.
00:49:44.200 Frank, it is always good to talk to you.
00:49:46.140 Thank you for being on with me.
00:49:48.220 I appreciate it.
00:49:48.880 And we'll talk again.
00:49:50.240 Let's not make it so long in between times we have a chat.
00:49:53.460 God bless you, sir.
00:49:54.240 Thank you so much for having me on.
00:49:55.460 You bet.
00:49:55.680 But he's got a book out that is just tremendous.
00:49:58.880 If you don't know, Frank is the guy who was with Charlie, you know, as they went to the hospital.
00:50:04.720 And it was a good friend of Charlie and a great advisor, Frank Turek.
00:50:08.560 The name of the book that he has out is War on Reality, and it's pretty much what he was talking about there.
00:50:13.300 You should read it and give it to a friend, War on Reality.
