The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guest： Rep. Chip Roy ｜ 5⧸2⧸24

00:00:00.000 Hey, we have a great program for you today, talking about all the things you're talking about.

00:00:03.620 First of all, that horrid, horrid bill that came out of the House yesterday on anti-Semitism.

00:00:10.080 May I remind you, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, absolutely a horrendous idea.

00:00:18.260 We have Chip Roy on that.

00:00:20.420 And the other horrendous idea from the administration is the mainlining of people that have escaped Gaza, that just love America, that went to Egypt.

00:00:35.120 Egypt doesn't want them, so we're going to put a mainline right from Egypt to the United States.

00:00:43.240 And we're transporting with, I think it's $3.5 or $3.9 billion.

00:00:49.940 We're just going to send all these people here to America. 1.00

00:00:52.640 Isn't that fabulous?

00:00:54.440 We have that and so much more, including the president's remarks today on the trouble at the campuses, which I don't know.

00:01:07.900 I kind of love myself.

00:01:10.560 Don't like the anti-Semitism, but gosh, it's really starting to tear at the fabric of the Democratic Party.

00:01:19.720 And, oh, I hate to see cannibalism.

00:01:25.220 Podcast begins in a minute.

00:01:27.060 Being prepared for an emergency is just not a smart thing to do.

00:01:30.000 It is the right thing to do, especially if you have a family who you're going to depend on and are depending on you to get them through it.

00:01:36.520 Part of preparedness is just having some emergency food on hand that can last in storage and which will keep you and your family fed if and when things go sideways.

00:01:45.940 Believe it or not, this is incredibly easy for you to do because of this amazing capitalist system.

00:01:53.020 Your supplies should be in reach, ready to grab, and go at a moment's notice.

00:01:56.860 And they are if you visit MyPatriotSupply.com.

00:02:00.020 MyPatriotSupply.com is a place where you can secure those supplies.

00:02:04.500 You start with a four-week emergency food kit.

00:02:06.560 It provides over 2,000 calories a day for each member of your family up to four weeks.

00:02:12.580 All of the food is protected by heavy-duty four-layer packaging.

00:02:15.700 It will last up to 25 years.

00:02:17.500 It's sealed inside rugged buckets, so they have handles on you and grab and go.

00:02:21.560 My Patriot Supply.

00:02:22.660 Get as many of these food kits as your family needs, each $50 off.

00:02:26.840 They ship fast and free and in unmarked boxes.

00:02:30.120 Save $50 per kit at MyPatriotSupply.com.

00:02:33.360 That's MyPatriotSupply.com.

00:02:44.300 You're listening to The Best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:02:49.060 So the bill was introduced by a New York Republican, Mike Lawler.

00:02:53.420 It passed 320 to 91, and it's now going to go to the Senate.

00:03:00.720 The House of Representatives passed a major anti-Semitism bill on Wednesday,

00:03:06.100 which would crack down on anti-Semitism on college campuses as protests rage nationwide.

00:03:12.700 So you're now not saying that this is going to be for everybody.

00:03:18.340 This is just through the Department of Education.

00:03:20.700 Legislation was opposed by 21 Republicans and 70 Democrats.

00:03:27.760 The legislation seeks to make the Department of Education adopt the International Holocaust

00:03:32.640 Remembrance Alliance's definition of anti-Semitism when enforcing the 1964 Civil Rights Act on college

00:03:40.400 campuses.

00:03:41.820 Now, I had to look it up.

00:03:43.640 What is the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's definition of anti-Semitism?

00:03:49.160 Well, they define anti-Semitism as, and I'm quoting, 0.79

00:03:54.280 a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred towards Jews.

00:04:01.000 It also defines it as a heretical and physical manifestation of anti-Semitism

00:04:08.880 and directed towards Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and or their property, towards the Jewish community,

00:04:16.920 institutions, and religious facilities.

00:04:20.080 Examples of anti-Semitism include calling for the harming of the Jewish people in the name of racial or extremist view of religion

00:04:28.680 and accusing Jewish people of inventing and or exaggerating the Holocaust.

00:04:33.340 The combat anti-Semitism movement hailed the passage as a momentous achievement, 0.98

00:04:40.280 but said work remains to be done to get it through the Senate and President Joe Biden's desk.

00:04:46.240 While we celebrate this milestone, our work is far from over.

00:04:50.360 We now need to urgently call upon Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to prioritize the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act.

00:04:57.760 Okay, so there are the 20 Republicans in the House that stood up.

00:05:05.820 Florida Representative Matt Gaetz opposed the bill.

00:05:10.180 He said,

00:05:11.180 This is a hate speech bill.

00:05:14.000 Anti-Semitism is wrong, but the legislation is written without regard for the Constitution,

00:05:19.180 common sense, or even common understanding of the meaning of the words.

00:05:23.460 If this bill would pass, the gospel itself would meet the definition of anti-Semitism under the terms of this bill.

00:05:30.740 Democratic lawmakers, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries,

00:05:36.940 has also called for the passage of the bill.

00:05:40.300 The countering anti-terrorism act, or anti-Semitism act.

00:05:45.820 The bill would combat anti-Semitism through the appointment of a new presidential advisor

00:05:50.880 that would be charged with implementing the White House's coordinated strategy in dealing with anti-Semitism.

00:05:58.820 What could possibly go wrong here?

00:06:01.940 The effort to crush anti-Semitism and hatred in any form is not a Democratic or Republican issue.

00:06:08.960 It's an American issue that must be addressed in a bipartisan manner with a fierce urgency of now.

00:06:16.700 Because after all, gang, say it with me, we've got to do something.

00:06:23.040 Okay. 1.00

00:06:23.640 You know, when I hear people say, the Jews killed Jesus, or those dirty Jews run the world, 1.00

00:06:37.660 or those Jews are responsible for everything bad, 1.00

00:06:43.100 or you're just saying things because you have a Zionist master, 1.00

00:06:48.680 I think to myself, you're a bloody idiot. 1.00

00:06:55.460 You have no clue as to what is really happening in the world. 1.00

00:07:01.660 You have no clue.

00:07:03.080 Are there some Jewish people that are very successful and top of corporations or top of whatever?

00:07:08.820 Yeah.

00:07:09.360 Yeah, there are.

00:07:10.220 Are there very successful Jews that happen to be bankers? 0.88

00:07:13.720 Yeah.

00:07:13.960 But you know what?

00:07:15.160 There's also very successful bankers that are Catholics and Mormons and Lutherans and Methodists

00:07:22.880 and, dare I say it, atheists. 0.98

00:07:26.860 Yeah, but it's the Jews that are the problem. 1.00

00:07:30.100 You're an idiot. 1.00

00:07:33.600 You shouldn't run around saying these things. 1.00

00:07:36.360 But I kind of actually like it when you do, because I know exactly who you are. 1.00

00:07:44.980 Oh, here's a guy who is so stupid he can't tie his own shoes, 1.00

00:07:50.340 or he's just a massive racist. 1.00

00:07:54.460 Kids, stay away from him. 1.00

00:07:56.440 You shouldn't run around saying, because it's false, it's rude, it's stupid, all of the above. 1.00

00:08:04.500 And we're trying to create a society here. 1.00

00:08:07.540 The proper response to this act is to not post memes of long-nosed Jews wrapping their tentacles around a U.S. flag. 0.92

00:08:16.620 It doesn't mean you're right about how the Jews are, 0.84

00:08:20.780 or vindicated for noticing that Zionists are the reason for everything is bad that has ever happened. 0.99

00:08:27.760 You can say those things.

00:08:30.020 You can say those things.

00:08:31.780 Because our Constitution guarantees it.

00:08:37.160 You know how I feel about anti-Semitism.

00:08:40.820 You know how I feel about the Holocaust and the return of the Holocaust. 0.65

00:08:46.620 I've been warning about it.

00:08:48.540 I've been trying to prepare you for this time.

00:08:53.080 I've prepared my family for this time.

00:08:56.040 Hard choices are going to come soon.

00:08:59.700 They already are.

00:09:01.240 This one doesn't seem hard.

00:09:04.140 What have I always said?

00:09:07.280 The Constitution must rule.

00:09:11.840 The Constitution must be our set of principles that we do not violate,

00:09:20.760 no matter if it cuts your way or against you.

00:09:24.980 This act, you would think that someone like me that is very supportive of the Jews and Israel would be all for.

00:09:35.760 I am dead set against this.

00:09:39.440 And you should be too.

00:09:40.940 Something can be legally permissible and morally repulsive at the same time.

00:09:50.920 Speech needs to be protected.

00:09:53.620 Not the stuff we all agree on, but the stuff we don't agree on.

00:09:58.780 The only speech that needs protection is the speech that a lot of people, the majority, find absolutely abhorrent.

00:10:08.380 Congress doesn't understand.

00:10:12.880 You cannot legislate hatred away.

00:10:17.300 You can't pass a bill.

00:10:19.000 You know what happens?

00:10:19.800 All you do is you create speakeasies of hate.

00:10:26.600 They go into the closet.

00:10:28.020 They go into another room where they can't be heard.

00:10:31.120 And it just becomes a festering pool of hate that at some point will break out.

00:10:40.020 The only one that can remove hatred from hearts is God.

00:10:45.380 We can do our part.

00:10:46.920 We can do our part. 0.99

00:10:49.800 Does that mean that jerk protesters can prevent Jewish students from entering their own classroom? 0.99

00:10:56.300 No, that's not speech. 0.99

00:11:00.520 In the public square, and I mean that electronically as well,

00:11:06.780 those who are standing up and, quite honestly, spreading the lies about the Palestinians and Hamas

00:11:14.940 and saying, no, they're not.

00:11:16.860 They're good.

00:11:17.880 They're great.

00:11:18.760 There's not a problem there.

00:11:21.080 As much as it kills me to say it, I stand with them on freedom of speech only.

00:11:29.800 The people who voted for this bill, I'm sure it was well intended.

00:11:40.460 But they're misguided by human nature, but they're misguided by human nature itself.

00:11:47.620 Governments cannot fix human hearts.

00:11:50.780 They are also, they should all be sent back to some remedial class on the principles of the Constitution of America.

00:12:01.240 The importance of freedom of speech, the importance of freedom of speech, the importance of not rushing in to do something because it's scary right now.

00:12:12.560 No.

00:12:13.440 No.

00:12:13.840 Why is it this Congress can only pass the things that seemingly only hurt the strength of America and only cut across the Constitution?

00:12:28.900 You just took away our Fourth Amendment right for warrants.

00:12:34.220 You just took that away.

00:12:36.500 You're now, you're now just passed another bill that is bringing people who have escaped Gaza

00:12:44.860 and our Palestinians, remember, 97% of them in the latest poll hate America.

00:12:57.000 About 70% of them were all for Hamas in the 80 percentile range of supporting October 7th.

00:13:09.960 Congress, you just passed a bill that are bringing those people in to America and settling them here in America. 1.00

00:13:19.040 What the hell is wrong with you?

00:13:24.720 You live in the upside down world. 0.99

00:13:27.000 I don't.

00:13:27.640 I still live in the world where America is all about protected rights.

00:13:38.840 It's a dark day when only 20 people in Congress that are Republican will stand up against this bill.

00:13:48.940 It is a dark, dark day.

00:13:51.320 George Washington told his troops after the Revolutionary War.

00:13:59.760 They all wanted to go and kill Congress because Congress was dishonorable.

00:14:07.940 Congress promised that they were going to make a certain amount of money and Congress would pay them.

00:14:13.020 And after they won the war, Congress said, oh, we don't have the money, we can't pay you.

00:14:19.960 Dishonorable. 1.00

00:14:21.060 And, quite frankly, stupid. 1.00

00:14:24.220 You have a group of soldiers that just bested the strongest military and navy in the world. 1.00

00:14:34.840 And you're going to piss them off and you're going to piss them off and be dishonorable. 0.70

00:14:41.380 And they're just outside of Philadelphia.

00:14:44.060 And you're in Philadelphia. 1.00

00:14:46.220 You morons. 1.00

00:14:47.560 George Washington knew exactly what they were planning. 1.00

00:14:52.240 They were planning to kill Congress because they were dishonorable.

00:14:57.600 End quote. 0.98

00:14:58.700 We just beat the British. 0.99

00:15:01.880 I think we can handle Congress.

00:15:06.260 Cutting a long, fascinating story very short.

00:15:09.540 George Washington said to them, men, you must not do this.

00:15:18.160 We did not overthrow one dictator just to replace him with another.

00:15:25.860 America.

00:15:28.040 We are concerned.

00:15:29.320 I am concerned.

00:15:30.320 I think you're concerned that we are moving into an autocratic state.

00:15:34.820 You cannot work to overthrow one dictator to replace him with another.

00:15:44.040 If this bill passes, I warn you, it will be used against you.

00:15:53.940 The American public is getting a raw deal at the hands of its elected government.

00:15:58.920 It is time that somebody stands up.

00:16:02.560 Every time a member of the Biden administration steps into a press conference and tells you the economy is improving, they are lying.

00:16:10.560 They might as well just stab you in the back because they are devaluing the dollar.

00:16:15.880 The value of your dollar is dropping by the day. 0.87

00:16:19.800 And it is only a matter of time, less and less time, before the bottom completely drops out of the economy.

00:16:26.680 So what are you and your family doing to prepare for that?

00:16:30.240 Please do not listen to the so-called experts.

00:16:35.140 When was the last time they told you the truth?

00:16:39.920 Are you building protections around your asset just in case what I'm telling you happens to be right?

00:16:48.060 May I recommend you look into precious metals?

00:16:51.900 Lear Capital can help you with this.

00:16:53.880 Please get your free wealth protection guide.

00:16:56.560 Read up all about it.

00:16:57.840 Decide if this is right for you, but call them.

00:17:01.180 The number is 800-957-GOLD.

00:17:03.860 800-957-GOLD.

00:17:06.680 Do it now.

00:17:08.060 Now back to the podcast.

00:17:12.060 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:17:15.240 Hey, Chip, it's got to be fun in Washington for people like you.

00:17:19.360 Well, when isn't it fun here, Glenn?

00:17:26.700 Could you please, before we get to the Palestinian refugee pipeline, could you please tell me what the people, especially the Republicans, were thinking with this anti-free speech bill?

00:17:40.500 Yeah, I mean, look, this is a bill that has caused a significant amount of concern over the last basically 72 hours.

00:17:50.520 I frankly wasn't even aware.

00:17:53.020 I think we had some anti-Semitism bill.

00:17:54.420 I thought it was kind of more like a resolution, just condemning anti-Semitism, which I'm not a big fan of resolutions and all that kind of stuff.

00:18:01.200 Oh, let's do something for a message. 0.99

00:18:02.420 You're not going to change crap. 0.95

00:18:03.640 You know what's changing things? 0.98

00:18:04.940 Guys like Ben Sasson, the president of the University of Florida, saying, hey, we don't run a daycare.

00:18:09.560 There are consequences of just, you know, taking action and stopping it, you know, or the president of the University of Texas, Jay Hartzell, just clamping down and saying, nope, no encampments. 0.98

00:18:18.060 You're not doing this crap here. 0.95

00:18:19.120 You can speak. 0.99

00:18:19.820 You can say what you want.

00:18:20.740 We're free speech.

00:18:21.500 But you're not going to block everybody's ability to go to school.

00:18:24.040 That's leadership.

00:18:25.200 You go after crimes.

00:18:26.600 You go after activity.

00:18:28.020 You don't police speech. 0.99

00:18:29.180 And what my foolish, foolish Republican colleagues did in the name of political expediency, because they wanted to seem like, oh, look at us. 0.99

00:18:37.880 We're going to go take advantage of this political moment. 0.99

00:18:39.880 And we're going to go out and we're going to pass an anti-Semitism bill. 0.70

00:18:42.440 You're going to then put out a document that or a bill in statute that links to an international organization's definition of anti-Semitism, which rattles off examples literally referenced in the statute that define what is anti-Semitism.

00:18:57.680 And it's a whole bunch of speech and thought and the kinds of things that we shouldn't have the federal government, especially the Department of Education policing.

00:19:07.560 It's thought police.

00:19:08.380 It's nuts.

00:19:09.380 The gospel of Jesus Christ, a Jew himself, would fall under hate speech with those rules that they passed yesterday.

00:19:20.920 The gospel.

00:19:22.420 Well, here's the thing.

00:19:24.020 This is what happens when these guys govern by polls.

00:19:27.680 When they make decisions based on some sort of thing, let's give a bill to a member of Congress from New York so that he can go campaign on it, no matter what's in it, because it says anti-Semitism in the title.

00:19:39.300 That's what happened.

00:19:40.440 We didn't put it through committee.

00:19:41.800 We didn't have a chance to amend it, debate it, change it, think about it.

00:19:45.500 We didn't have a hearing.

00:19:46.720 They did it for political expediency.

00:19:48.620 And political expediency is the ruin of the Republican Party.

00:19:52.460 It's why the Republican Party is a vacuous shell.

00:19:55.860 But I will tell you, Glenn, I was so proud of a block of our Republican colleagues who stood up and said no.

00:20:02.360 Some of us voted against the ridiculous, you know, foreign aid package last week that included funding for Israel, which ticked us off because they put us in a bad position having to vote against funding for Israel, which I support.

00:20:14.620 But I voted against it because of what you want to talk about in the next.

00:20:18.740 It had tons of funding in there for Hamas, including the refugee program.

00:20:23.600 So we vote against that bill.

00:20:25.380 We have all of these, you know, pro-Israel groups like AIPAC and all of these groups mad at us.

00:20:30.420 And then they're getting all of our supporters that support Israel mad at us and our church friends.

00:20:34.860 And we have to go out and explain it.

00:20:36.280 And when we do, our people are generally with us.

00:20:38.700 But then they make us take another vote yesterday.

00:20:40.840 That's not leadership.

00:20:42.940 But a block of Republicans stood up strong in the face of that, knowing they would take the arrows.

00:20:48.160 I'm so proud of the courage of some Republicans that are finally showing the emperor has no clothes.

00:20:53.840 We are making and laying bare what has been rotting in this godforsaken city in Washington, killing this country over the last two decades.

00:21:01.560 We're not going to let them take our country from us, Glenn.

00:21:04.500 We're going to keep fighting and exposing it.

00:21:06.480 So, Chip, I said last night to an audience, I said, I don't think we understand how close we are to winning, that there is a sea change.

00:21:22.000 It's just taking a while, but there is a sea change.

00:21:25.440 And this next election will either prove this out or we collapse.

00:21:33.620 But there are more Republicans in Congress and the Senate now than I've ever seen before that are actually standing up.

00:21:44.700 I mean, I know it's not a lot, but 20 standing up is a good thing, is a really good thing.

00:21:51.180 No, Glenn, I could not agree more.

00:21:53.280 Now, you're taking a page out of the book that I use when I go out trying to explain to voters why they should be energized and cared.

00:22:00.940 Because you know what? When you look at it superficially, you're really frustrated.

00:22:05.920 You guys keep spending money. You're doing all this stuff, the foreign aid.

00:22:09.040 But, man, you are right. You said it exactly right. We are so close to winning.

00:22:13.140 The people are fed up. They've got a block of people here who are exposing the truth.

00:22:17.420 And we are getting more people to join our ranks.

00:22:20.160 We need to win more primaries.

00:22:20.940 We need to win more primaries, but importantly, because we're not going to get everybody elected through primaries to get the majority of freedom fighters that you and I would want out of the entire Republican conference.

00:22:29.860 We need to lay down markers, what we demand, demand of every Republican next January.

00:22:37.460 Lord willing, we have President Trump and we have a Republican House and a Senate.

00:22:40.160 We are going to demand these 10 things or your head is on a freaking political platter and you are no longer going to serve.

00:22:48.160 That needs to be what we say. And we need to be clear about it. 0.94

00:22:52.020 We need to be expressly clear about it in this election cycle.

00:22:55.660 What we're going to demand of Republicans, because no more of this nonsense, no more unpaid for wars.

00:23:01.340 And by the way, Glenn, you and I both adhere to the belief that a low, broad tax rate, getting government out of our lives, creates economic wealth, creates economic opportunity, right?

00:23:11.320 But a lot of our rich folks, a lot of our donor class, if I may say it, have been taking basically a free ride.

00:23:19.780 They're OK saying, let's go have endless wars.

00:23:22.700 Let's go send $175 billion to Ukraine over the last two years and let's go do sending some more this fall.

00:23:28.840 But they don't want to talk about, OK, what if I told you the top marginal rate is going to go up to 70 percent so you can pay for it?

00:23:35.420 When I've said that to a few of them, they have a heart attack.

00:23:38.420 I'm tired of people getting a free ride, hiding behind, you know, economic theories of low tax rates in the Laffer curve to go out there and say we should engage in endless wars like we have the last 25 years to the tune of eight and a half trillion dollars.

00:23:51.820 There's 70 something thousand injured Americans, seven something thousand dead American men and women in uniform because they don't want to have to, you know, frankly, step up and own their part of it.

00:24:02.480 So we've got to have a real conversation between now and next year about what we want.

00:24:06.960 But the freedom fighters in Congress right now, they are standing up and God bless them.

00:24:11.240 And we are making it. And by the way, on the spending front, we kept the spending on the non-defense flat.

00:24:16.560 The funding for defense that went up came out of the hide of the IRS expansion.

00:24:21.960 We passed the border security bill that's the best we've ever passed, and we took amnesty off the table.

00:24:26.600 We got seven appropriations bills passed last year, eleven hundred amendments.

00:24:30.060 We've exposed a lot, including, by the way, last point, sorry for the filibuster.

00:24:33.700 Last September, three weeks before what happened in Israel, we had a vote to defund UNRWA.

00:24:40.500 Eight Republicans voted against it, killing it.

00:24:43.780 And three weeks later, we see UNRWA-funded terrorists killing, raping, and maiming Israelis in October. 0.95

00:24:52.380 Guess what? By this spring, we defunded UNRWA.

00:24:55.060 Where were those Republicans last September?

00:24:57.940 That's what I want us to focus on, shining the light on the Republicans who have been messing this up for too long.

00:25:03.540 When are you going to release that list?

00:25:06.280 Well, the doubt is public. I mean, I can put that out there.

00:25:09.380 I mean, look, there are several other amendments, and we should do that.

00:25:11.560 We should show the amendments we forced votes on last year, like the kill switch.

00:25:15.880 There were 17 or 19, I can't remember, Republicans who killed our amendment to kill the kill switch, right?

00:25:22.320 You have the kill switch that will shut your car down because the government says so, because your eyes are darting around or whatever.

00:25:27.720 Makes your car more expensive. Total anti-freedom.

00:25:31.140 And makes your car more expensive.

00:25:32.960 But 19 Republicans, I think, or 17, killed that.

00:25:36.620 So we should expose all of those.

00:25:38.620 Look, I'm proud of my votes.

00:25:41.040 Some of them are tough votes.

00:25:42.620 We've got, you know, I've got some police bills for Police Week coming up.

00:25:46.340 Believe this or not, they're going to put a bill in the Judiciary Committee and then send it to the floor that uses the commerce power to say that if you're a cop killer and a, you know,

00:25:55.900 Soros DA is not prosecuting you, that the federal government, that is the Department of Justice, can come into your state and prosecute the crime.

00:26:02.760 Now, Glenn, you're right.

00:26:04.880 Glenn, you get it.

00:26:05.940 You and I both hate cop killers. 1.00

00:26:08.000 You and I would sentence them to death tomorrow. 0.77

00:26:10.460 But you can't empower the Department of Justice through the Commerce Clause to come in and federalize criminal law.

00:26:17.420 So I'm going to offer a amendment that says, OK, if you want to do it for cops, why not nurses?

00:26:21.040 Why not doctors?

00:26:22.020 Why not clergy?

00:26:23.140 You want to federalize all of that law?

00:26:24.880 Well, then you do it because, you know what, the cop groups are already sending letters against me saying you're opposing this bill that is strong for law enforcement.

00:26:34.180 No, I'm trying to protect freedom so that you are free to be able to go do your job without the federal government coming in using the Commerce Clause to interject into states, even if it's for supposedly a good reason.

00:26:45.320 Let me go back to the refugees, the Palestinian refugees that Egypt won't accept that we're now taking in. 1.00

00:26:56.400 Yep.

00:26:56.740 Tell me about this program.

00:26:57.800 Well, you know, we're still learning about what they're saying.

00:27:01.160 But the Biden administration putting together a program to funnel Palestinian refugees here, as you noted, most right now, all of these Arab countries are refusing to take them.

00:27:12.140 And the problem is, is 75 percent of these Palestinians, these refugees are basically sympathetic with Hamas by any, you know, objective measure of polling.

00:27:21.800 And frankly, a lot of these civilians have participated in the terrorist activities.

00:27:26.300 So now we're going to funnel refugees into the United States, by the way, using the funds that were just funded in the foreign aid bill last week.

00:27:37.560 That's those of us who voted against told everybody there's nine billion dollars in here that's going to fund Hamas, fund refugee programs, go to the Palestinian stuff.

00:27:47.320 Guess what?

00:27:47.800 They're going to use that money in part to move people from Gaza to the United States.

00:27:53.420 So guess what?

00:27:54.820 Right now, while you've already got, I think, I can't remember the exact number, something like three million people that have come to the United States from countries that sponsor terror since 9-11.

00:28:06.520 We have opened up our doors and had all these people come to the United States, some of whom are great people and great Americans, want freedom, and we're fleeing terrible circumstances, some of whom are not great people.

00:28:16.500 A lot of stuff that we did not do, the Afghani refugees that we weren't doing any kind of real betting on, we're on a ticking time bomb, and we're funding it. 1.00

00:28:25.740 And by the way, Glenn, we have 51.5 million people in this country who are foreign-born.

00:28:30.620 That is a higher percentage than we've ever had in the history of our country.

00:28:33.700 And we are pumping in almost a million a year legally.

00:28:37.920 Now you're going to add to that the refugee program on top of what the President Biden administration is doing, funneling people in across the border.

00:28:45.140 And now the program you saw that has been exposed with the parolees that are being flown into cities directly to the tune of 200,000 that were flown in.

00:28:55.240 That's what's happening to our country, and it's purposeful.

00:28:58.320 At what point, I've never seen clearer cases for impeachment than right now.

00:29:08.280 I mean, the President of the United States is clearly working to undermine every aspect of our rule of law, constitution, sovereignty, the security of the American people on a daily basis.

00:29:21.400 Putting aside the Hunter Biden situation.

00:29:24.060 Yes.

00:29:24.240 Putting aside all of that.

00:29:25.820 Putting aside the family dealing.

00:29:27.100 The fact of the matter is, the buck stops with the President.

00:29:30.380 And Alejandro Mayorkas and the entire DHS regime, of course we should impeach Mayorkas.

00:29:34.400 But the buck stops with Biden.

00:29:35.860 It is his administration that is ignoring the law.

00:29:38.080 It is his administration that is using, you know, small pieces of the law to undermine our sovereignty and security, weaken us, and endanger us.

00:29:46.760 It is because of him and his policies that Lakin Riley is dead.

00:29:51.100 That's just the truth.

00:29:52.480 It's not like it's, oh, well, you know, you have war and some Americans die.

00:29:55.660 Okay, it's hard.

00:29:57.620 You're the President.

00:29:58.220 You're just doing your job.

00:29:59.120 No.

00:29:59.540 He specifically has chosen to abuse the parole policies that were created on a case-by-case basis to help people.

00:30:06.720 Like somebody who's sick with cancer.

00:30:08.260 Can they come here and see a loved one or go to MD Anderson or something on a case-by-case basis?

00:30:12.780 Instead, they are flooding hundreds of thousands of people in, in violation of law, and he knows it, and they don't care.

00:30:19.700 All of these are impeachable offenses.

00:30:21.560 And to my Republican colleagues who say, no, it's not, that's maladministration, they're wrong.

00:30:26.280 What the hell is impeachment for if it's not for this kind of stuff?

00:30:30.960 For the student loan forgiveness alone, $1.4 trillion that thing's going to cost in the end.

00:30:40.820 Yeah.

00:30:41.140 No, I mean, you saw the same report that I just saw.

00:30:43.080 I can't remember the outside group, the committee for fiscal responsibility or whatever, studied it and said at a minimum $800 billion, as high as $1.4 trillion, which you and I both know means it'll be $1.4 trillion.

00:30:53.400 And I saw it was like $6 billion that it did to a fund, like, I think it's for art, people of art history.

00:31:01.680 Like, we're just an insane people.

00:31:03.780 Meanwhile, my wife, who grew up with a single mom in Texas and went to, you know, Texas A&M, went to UT for law school, chose to go there to have cheaper tuition instead of more expensive schools.

00:31:14.860 She's still technically paying off the last parts of her student loans after literally 20 years since she graduated because we've done it all the right way.

00:31:23.040 But, you know, we're still driving 15-year-old cars and doing this.

00:31:27.260 And by the way, that's not a woe-is-me thing.

00:31:29.640 That's the American dream.

00:31:31.120 No.

00:31:31.260 Like, that's what you do.

00:31:32.760 She worked hard.

00:31:33.540 Her mom worked hard.

00:31:34.340 Her grandfather worked hard so that she could experience that and be who she is and help me and support me.

00:31:40.280 And I'm in Congress.

00:31:40.940 We have great kids.

00:31:42.120 And you know what? 1.00

00:31:43.520 You're undermining the American dream when you do this crap. 1.00

00:31:46.040 Yes, you are. 1.00

00:31:46.780 And Republicans are guilty because we funded.

00:31:49.560 Yep. 1.00

00:31:49.780 We just funded that stupid student loan program. 1.00

00:31:52.160 I've got to go. 1.00

00:31:53.120 But thank you for everything you're doing.

00:31:54.940 Thank you. 0.99

00:31:55.780 Keep plowing through this crap and exposing the Republicans that need to be replaced. 0.98

00:32:01.400 Thank you so much. 0.99

00:32:03.340 Representative Chip Roy from Texas.

00:32:06.580 The best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:32:13.800 Oh, my goodness.

00:32:15.140 Oh, my goodness.

00:32:16.860 My goodness.

00:32:17.780 Is he doing it?

00:32:18.900 I only see him on MSNBC.

00:32:23.480 Already coughed once into his hand.

00:32:26.620 Can we pull one of these?

00:32:30.060 Let's see if we can get some of the audio.

00:32:31.080 Get something on.

00:32:32.680 Both must be upheld.

00:32:35.220 We are not an authoritarian nation where we silence people or squash dissent.

00:32:40.240 The American people are heard.

00:32:41.440 In fact, peaceful protest is in the best tradition of how Americans respond to consequential issues.

00:32:49.120 But neither are we a lawless country.

00:32:53.560 We are a civil society.

00:32:55.600 An order must prevail.

00:32:57.780 Throughout our history, we've often faced moments like this because we are a big, diverse, free-thinking and freedom-loving nation.

00:33:04.460 In moments like this, there are always those who rush in to score political points.

00:33:10.960 But this isn't a moment for politics.

00:33:13.260 It's a moment for clarity.

00:33:15.320 So let me be clear.

00:33:17.060 Peaceful protest in America.

00:33:19.520 Violent protest is not protected.

00:33:22.100 Peaceful protest is.

00:33:23.920 It's against the law when violence occurs.

00:33:26.600 Destroying property is not a peaceful protest.

00:33:28.900 It's against the law, vandalism, trespassing, breaking windows, shutting down campuses, forcing the cancellation of classes and graduations.

00:33:38.940 None of this is a peaceful protest.

00:33:41.620 Threatening people, intimidating people, instilling fear in people is not a peaceful protest.

00:33:47.160 It's against the law.

00:33:49.320 Dissent is essential to democracy.

00:33:50.840 But dissent must never lead to disorder or to denying the rights of others so students can finish the semester and their college education.

00:33:59.440 Look, it's basically a matter of fairness.

00:34:02.840 It's a matter of what's right.

00:34:04.780 There's the right to protest, but not the right to cause chaos.

00:34:09.340 People have the right to get an education, the right to get a degree, the right to walk across the campus safely without fear of being attacked.

00:34:17.980 Let's be clear about this as well.

00:34:19.740 There should be no place on any campus, no place in America for anti-Semitism or threats of violence against Jewish students.

00:34:29.240 There is no place for hate speech or violence of any kind, whether it's anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, or discrimination against Arab Americans or Palestinian Americans.

00:34:39.740 It's simply wrong.

00:34:41.340 There's no place for racism in America.

00:34:43.820 It's all wrong.

00:34:45.080 It's un-American. 0.82

00:34:45.780 I understand people have strong feelings and deep convictions.

00:34:49.740 In America, we respect the right and protect the right for them to express that.

00:34:55.700 But it doesn't mean anything goes.

00:34:58.660 It needs to be done without violence, without destruction, without hate, and within the law.

00:35:05.000 You know, make no mistake.

00:35:08.360 As president, I will always defend free speech.

00:35:11.360 And I will always be just as strong as standing up for the rule of law.

00:35:15.480 That's my responsibility to you, the American people.

00:35:19.100 My obligation to the Constitution.

00:35:21.440 Thank you very much.

00:35:22.640 Okay, so there you go.

00:35:24.560 You have Joe Biden doing, you want to take questions?

00:35:28.220 Yeah, if he's taking, you might be taking a question here.

00:35:29.800 I don't see.

00:35:30.060 And has the protest forced you to reconsider any of the policies with regard to the region?

00:35:35.960 And he walks away.

00:35:37.180 Mr. President, do you think the National Guard should intervene?

00:35:40.280 No.

00:35:41.040 Mr. President, do you agree with what is running on the law?

00:35:43.160 And the door is closing behind him.

00:35:45.120 But he's still answering them.

00:35:46.380 Yeah.

00:35:46.720 No.

00:35:47.820 No.

00:35:48.240 No.

00:35:48.560 He's just in the, no.

00:35:50.420 He's in the hallway.

00:35:51.480 No.

00:35:52.480 He's in his bedroom.

00:35:53.640 No.

00:35:54.560 He looks at his wife.

00:35:55.660 She says, no.

00:35:57.380 I don't know.

00:35:58.500 That's what's happening.

00:36:00.420 What did you make of that?

00:36:01.560 I mean, it was pretty milquetoast, boring, not much.

00:36:05.780 I don't, like, we were talking about this off the air, that he had an actual opportunity here

00:36:11.120 if he wanted to win over a good chunk of the country while risking his far left flank

00:36:17.420 of kind of having the, you know, cliched Sister Soulja moment where he comes out and is really

00:36:23.160 harsh against these people who are doing what they're doing.

00:36:26.300 He didn't do that.

00:36:27.260 He did not do that.

00:36:28.060 That was a, it may have been what he was trying to do.

00:36:31.640 He's seemingly incapable of giving a speech of any value.

00:36:35.680 And that was a, it was a, just a not, you know, like, hey, free speech.

00:36:39.880 I think it's enough to satisfy many supporters.

00:36:46.060 We're also at the.

00:36:48.180 What kind of supporters?

00:36:49.920 Like, what group is he targeting with that?

00:36:52.120 His.

00:36:53.480 Like a liberal, maybe Jewish voter. 0.74

00:36:56.420 Yeah, and not really.

00:36:58.880 I think he's kind of pissed off the Jews when he's like, I know a place for anti-Semitism. 0.99

00:37:03.620 Or, you know, people wanted to hurt Hamas and Palestinians and Muslims and those who are

00:37:10.880 in the Mickey Mouse Club.

00:37:12.060 Right.

00:37:12.400 Well, that's a big one.

00:37:12.940 The ones that have been raped by the Disney Corporation, which we're totally fine with.

00:37:16.840 Um, you know, I, I, I don't think he, he reached out to, to those supporters, but I think he

00:37:24.740 did enough for maybe the average person who is a Democrat and wants him to do the right

00:37:31.180 thing.

00:37:32.080 They went, well, okay.

00:37:33.480 So he's strong on that.

00:37:34.280 He said no violence.

00:37:34.780 He said no violence.

00:37:35.520 He said protests are okay, but no violence and such.

00:37:38.160 And I think that maybe there's some group maybe he connects with that.

00:37:41.340 But I, I think though there was a chance for him to, uh, to really like set this issue

00:37:46.840 as maybe make it into a strength instead of a weakness.

00:37:49.620 And he did not do that there.

00:37:51.140 That was a, uh, you know, he, he could have made a moment of like, look, you know, these,

00:37:56.420 these people on these campuses are, um, basically calling them revolting, like passion, some sort

00:38:04.100 of anger toward the people who were calling for the genocide of Jews.

00:38:07.800 There's none of that.

00:38:08.440 It was like, well, to make sure people can get to classes.

00:38:11.340 You know, everyone's got a right to get a degree, which by the way, they don't have

00:38:14.660 a right to.

00:38:15.480 Um, but all of that being said, uh, it was, it wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen out

00:38:21.260 of his mouth.

00:38:21.800 I mean, he didn't have like, at least he didn't have like red villain lighting behind him.

00:38:27.860 Well, you know what's great though?

00:38:29.140 He doesn't need that anymore.

00:38:30.880 We all just know.

00:38:31.860 We all just know.

00:38:32.700 Built into his character.

00:38:33.820 Villain.

00:38:34.460 You know, it's funny too.

00:38:35.200 Like it is, he's from a, from a dramatic standpoint, you couldn't put Joe Biden in like a dramatic

00:38:43.420 movie because he's so bad at these speeches. 0.99

00:38:47.280 Even if he says something evil, you're just like, Oh God, this sucks. 0.97

00:38:50.620 Like that.

00:38:51.120 You don't even, it's not like. 0.90

00:38:52.520 I think that we should bring the guillotine back and we should take all bankers and we 1.00

00:38:57.740 should cut their heads off. 1.00

00:38:58.800 Right. 1.00

00:38:59.140 Like it's so, there's so, there's no emotion.

00:39:02.180 Like you go back to like the star Wars, like, uh, you know, um, uh, this is how Liberty dies

00:39:08.080 with thunderous applause speech.

00:39:09.480 It's like, you need to be, you can't put him in a movie.

00:39:13.500 Everyone would be like, wait, what?

00:39:14.960 There's a difference between.

00:39:16.120 Is he talking about hamburgers?

00:39:17.680 What's he talking?

00:39:18.540 And the rebels are taking our bases and we must stop for the empire.

00:39:25.240 Right.

00:39:25.880 Yeah.

00:39:26.400 And we got a cough three times in the middle of the sentence.

00:39:35.020 My uncle was in a spaceship once.

00:39:38.860 He was probed by aliens.

00:39:41.940 And we, it's, isn't it just, can we at least agree with this?

00:39:46.100 Democrats, Republicans, everybody across the aisle.

00:39:48.540 This is embarrassing.

00:39:50.340 Can we at least just agree on that point?

00:39:52.820 You can still say his policies are better or whatever people around him that are making

00:39:57.000 the policies have a better idea of how to run the country, but aren't you just embarrassed

00:40:01.280 by this day after day after day?

00:40:03.120 It is just utterly depressing that the country that has led the world out of, you know, the 0.99

00:40:09.920 lack of civilization has this dolt running it. 1.00

00:40:14.920 It's so pathetic in every way. 1.00

00:40:19.380 So you are, you're, you're drawing a lot more out of this speech than, than I did. 0.98

00:40:24.800 I, I, I don't think it was bad.

00:40:26.820 I don't think it was good, but I don't think it's, it's going to, that's not going to make

00:40:30.460 any impact one way or another.

00:40:33.420 I don't know that we disagree.

00:40:34.280 I think that like, I think he had an opportunity for impact, which he did not take.

00:40:38.340 He could have made it worse.

00:40:39.980 I don't know that he did that.

00:40:41.580 I just think that he's such an uninspiring figure and I'm embarrassed that we're led

00:40:46.960 by someone like that.

00:40:48.080 And I, when I say led, it's definitely an air quotes there.

00:40:50.760 I don't know that the president should be viewed this way, but it's the way that we do

00:40:54.380 view the president. 1.00

00:40:56.460 I just, he just sucks. 1.00

00:40:58.160 I mean, it's maybe not even deeper than that. 1.00

00:41:00.580 He's just, he just sucks at this. 0.99

00:41:02.300 He's not good at the thing he does. 0.99

00:41:04.160 He, he, the job he has, he's incapable of doing.

00:41:08.240 And that's a little bit frustrating for a world super.

00:41:10.960 Yeah, see, I, I, again, I, now I think you're, now I think you're going too soft.

00:41:15.080 He doesn't, he's not just incapable of doing it.

00:41:19.420 The guy is a box of matches in a fireworks factory.

00:41:24.420 But yeah, yeah.

00:41:25.420 I mean, he is like, and he's constantly striking himself.

00:41:28.960 I ain't jump.

00:41:30.520 Yeah.

00:41:31.000 Uh-oh, what happened?

00:41:32.460 What, what happens?

00:41:34.920 Yeah.

00:41:35.440 And he's constantly setting everything on fire.

00:41:37.900 Yeah, but I don't think that, that speech didn't strike me as like, hey, keep going

00:41:42.640 protesters.

00:41:43.560 It wasn't that.

00:41:44.300 No.

00:41:44.440 Which he, which again, if he was some ideological maniac, maybe he would have gone that, like

00:41:49.640 Elizabeth Warren would have done that. 0.99

00:41:51.340 Elizabeth Warren would have been out there being like, yeah, burn these things to the 1.00

00:41:53.860 ground.

00:41:54.220 I mean, you know, probably.

00:41:55.280 Um, I think he didn't quite do that.

00:41:58.200 I think, I think he went out there with the idea of people are criticizing me for not saying

00:42:02.320 anything.

00:42:02.620 I got to say something that I can say, hey, free speech is good, but don't break the law,

00:42:07.540 everybody.

00:42:07.800 And then step back and, and, you know, have my, you know, probably at this point, what,

00:42:12.200 what is it?

00:42:12.620 10 AM dinner.

00:42:14.020 And then the day's over, right?

00:42:15.880 Like, that's what it felt like.

00:42:17.240 And that's what it feels like all the time with this guy.

00:42:19.380 Even when he's doing things that are viscerally angering about, I mean, he's overcoming the

00:42:28.160 entire system of government with things like the student loan plan.

00:42:31.480 And he does it the same way.

00:42:32.840 He looks as boring and terrible and awful and coughing in the middle of the sentences

00:42:36.800 that he does every, every other speech.

00:42:38.960 And like, you know, watching him, it's funny too, because he's obviously been told, hey,

00:42:45.540 if you can avoid coughing in the middle of a sentence, can you do that?

00:42:49.580 Multiple times he went to cough and he catches himself and his hand stays like a foot away

00:42:55.600 from his, he brings it up and then he starts to cough and he realizes he's not supposed

00:42:59.080 to do it.

00:42:59.680 Cause he's almost, I don't think he has to cough.

00:43:01.700 It's like, he's just doing it as a tick.

00:43:03.260 Like he wants to like, I don't know what he's doing.

00:43:06.040 Are you?

00:43:06.460 And then he also has this little scratch his face thing in the middle, like in the middle 0.82

00:43:11.160 of like, and you know, the Jews shouldn't be so murdered all the time. 0.96

00:43:16.580 Like whatever the hell he was saying. 0.89

00:43:18.640 I don't, I just feel like it's just an embarrassment from beginning to end.

00:43:22.640 So I'm sorry you didn't feel like, well, I'm sorry you liked President Biden.

00:43:24.980 You're going to vote for him.

00:43:26.020 That's not how I feel.

00:43:27.280 And I have to express it.

00:43:29.140 As he said, free speech is important.

00:43:32.000 Yeah, it is.

00:43:32.960 Yeah, it is.

00:43:33.600 Um, I thought that was actually more effective, um, than what the Republicans did in Congress

00:43:40.160 yesterday.

00:43:40.980 Well, first of all, let's say, yes, I agree with you.

00:43:43.820 I, I, I, I find the same worry in the bill that I think you do, which is not that, um,

00:43:49.380 I have any desire to see more antisemitism, but like that you can't really legislate this 0.98

00:43:54.340 type of thing the way they're trying to do it.

00:43:56.020 That being said.

00:43:57.140 And especially.

00:43:57.920 It wasn't just Republicans.

00:43:59.200 Democrats voted for it too.

00:44:00.220 Oh, I know that.

00:44:01.300 Keem Jeffries was excited.

00:44:03.940 Sighted for it.

00:44:04.720 He loves this.

00:44:05.740 He'd like to go further.

00:44:06.800 Who didn't vote for it?

00:44:07.800 Do you know?

00:44:08.300 What was it?

00:44:08.720 The AOC branch on the Democrats that didn't vote for it?

00:44:11.120 And then like the Freedom Caucus on the right.

00:44:12.600 Was it one of those types of bills?

00:44:13.800 I have to look at the list again.

00:44:16.220 Uh, but there's 20 Republicans and I think 40 Democrats that didn't, that didn't vote for it.

00:44:22.020 Yeah.

00:44:22.380 There's something in that vicinity.

00:44:23.400 Yeah.

00:44:23.580 Yeah.

00:44:23.600 Yeah.

00:44:23.640 Yeah.

00:44:23.660 Yeah.

00:44:23.820 Yeah.

00:44:24.220 Yeah.

00:44:24.260 Yeah.

00:44:24.540 Yeah.

00:44:24.660 Yeah.

00:44:24.720 Yeah.

00:44:25.160 Yeah.

00:44:25.660 Yeah.

00:44:25.760 Yeah.
