00:01:48.040 you're listening to the best of the blend back program congressman cory mills if you don't know who

00:02:03.740 this guy is and you might not um because he's he's always just busy doing things uh i mean you know

00:02:12.240 i'll get a call from him and be like yeah uh i'm in the jungles of vietnam we think we know where

00:02:18.840 the pow's are and we're just gonna get them out he's just everywhere doing stuff he's like a real

00:02:25.500 life action hero but he's also a congressman he's running uh his campaign his campaign people are

00:02:31.780 freaking out they're like this is a close election cory you know uh and he's like the people in my

00:02:37.740 district are okay they weren't hit by the hurricane they're okay i can't go to my maker and say yeah i

00:02:47.600 could help these people you know in another state but i had a campaign to run he said i can't do it

00:02:53.220 um and uh so i told him yesterday i don't know where i'm gonna find time to do this but i said

00:02:58.840 let me go campaign for you let me just go do a speech or something for you while you're up here

00:03:03.860 um because i believe in this guy this guy is this guy should shame every member of congress

00:03:10.600 should shame every member of congress the power of what one person can do when coupled with other

00:03:16.700 people is absolutely amazing don't ever count yourself out as i can't do it do you realize that

00:03:23.380 this audience is playing a major role in a major historic disaster you are by giving to mercury

00:03:33.720 i can't tell you how many people i i met and they were like we couldn't have done it without your

00:03:39.460 audience we we cannot do it without you you have no idea you know all of the oxygen on every uh county

00:03:47.260 ambulance now is provided by this audience they they ran they blew through all of their supply they

00:03:53.560 weren't prepared for this um you know nobody's prepared for something of this scale and uh they were

00:04:00.080 like we're out of oxygen we got oxygen we have pallets now of o2 that we we flew in um we're we're filling

00:04:08.460 transport planes uh when i left the airport one of our transport planes was flying down i think to

00:04:15.720 florida to pick up other supplies and flying back overnight um it's it's remarkable and fema

00:04:23.340 is despicable uh you know me if you've listened to this program uh for very long i don't like to use

00:04:40.120 the word treason i really don't because it's the only thing in the constitution that spells out

00:04:48.020 you know the punishment and uh and i don't like calling people traitors and i and i won't today

00:04:55.740 but i will tell you a case could be made that there are a lot of people that are bordering

00:05:04.520 on the line of treason our country is being dismantled our country is being torn apart

00:05:12.580 that fema has spent let me see if i can get this exactly right i want to get these right fema has

00:05:20.680 spent 1.4 billion dollars on immigrants illegals okay 1.4 0.2 billion dollars on rehousing flying these

00:05:35.340 illegals illegals in without your knowledge we paid for all of it 174.2 billion dollars 0.76

00:05:45.260 okay

00:05:49.180 and how much how can i ask how much it was 750 dollars and in uh hawaii they got 700 dollars so 700 dollars

00:06:02.900 in hawaii 750 dollars but don't worry that's gonna that's gonna be very helpful they just lost

00:06:09.380 everything it is it's embarrassing as a nation it is embarrassing by the way the electric vehicle

00:06:18.080 chargers where they have put two uh that's 7.5 billion dollars uh the high speed internet which

00:06:27.860 didn't happen we spent 42.45 billion dollars the high speed internet thing didn't happen

00:06:36.280 but they you know they've got don't worry on a surprisingly quiet hurricane season they're out

00:06:44.880 of money first of all i'd like to remind the government no you're not you print money all the

00:06:51.880 time this is the one time where you're like gosh guys if we print more money man it'll just cause

00:06:59.000 inflation it'll be really bad really really bad and besides the printing presses are booked for the

00:07:05.720 next month and a half because we're printing so much money for iran and ukraine

00:07:12.740 out of money huh i you know i don't remember voting to uh bring all these illegals in and house them 0.99

00:07:23.980 and feed them and give billions of dollars through most likely many corrupt ngos that are wasting our 0.54

00:07:34.320 money i don't remember that i don't remember voting you know what we should do we should go into

00:07:38.980 other countries and find some people that want to come here and we'll just pay their way we'll find 0.95

00:07:45.300 out who they are and then say come to america where do you want to go you want to go to kansas city

00:07:51.300 they got the chiefs it's great you go to new york you know some great little restaurants and bistros

00:07:58.280 everywhere you're gonna love it and it's a free ticket and then we'll set you up in a really nice hotel

00:08:05.200 or ones that used to be really nice and free food and two thousand five hundred dollars just

00:08:11.860 because you are so oppressed so oppressed i can't even take how oppressed you are so you get twenty

00:08:18.580 five hundred dollars and you get a free phone and you get a free phone and you get a free phone

00:08:23.660 and seven hundred and fifty dollars for these people who have been paying taxes hard-working

00:08:31.040 regular people and you can't even fly a helicopter in to get people off their roofs

00:08:41.600 and you show up a week late by the way i want to thank president uh biden for you know taking that

00:08:51.280 aerial view uh in you know he just didn't want to disrupt anything and he only stopped our rescue

00:08:57.240 helicopters from rescuing people for four hours so uh you know that was great didn't piss the rescuers

00:09:03.720 off at all at all so anyway fema is there and um i said so uh why are you guys here there were we took

00:09:18.900 a van there were 10 of us in this van uh and we were going back to the the food distribution point

00:09:26.360 and uh you know everybody's looking out the windows and seeing stuff and i said ho ho ho hold on turn

00:09:31.740 turn around you guys see the fema truck everybody i didn't see the fema truck yeah it's it's tucked

00:09:39.340 back in the corner behind this i don't know uh you know michael's that is closed and uh so we went

00:09:47.640 into the like cops everywhere food is on the other side like a lowe's you know garden shop

00:09:55.380 and all the attention when you drive in all the attention is over there because people are going

00:10:00.520 to get food because they don't have any food but behind the michael's uh that's been closed and i think

00:10:11.860 next to the chuck e cheese which was so busy no they were closed too was under a tree this fema truck

00:10:22.520 and i said so

00:10:24.780 what are you guys doing here

00:10:29.060 well we're we're getting everybody you know to sign up for the the aid

00:10:35.720 okay all right um

00:10:38.740 they're they're you know the crowd is down there there's only one person at your table yeah i know

00:10:45.680 but that's because we haven't really announced where we are yet i'm thinking that's probably good

00:10:50.760 um but i said what do you mean and he said well um our flyers haven't uh arrived yet uh so we're

00:11:01.280 waiting for our own flyers that say you know fema is here i'm like all flyers we didn't think of that

00:11:07.940 flyer thing uh we just went you know to where everybody is and then we didn't need flyers but

00:11:15.480 i didn't say that uh at this point i was like don't say anything at all don't say anything at all

00:11:19.620 uh and uh he said well we you know we just have to be where the people are and i said that's good

00:11:27.280 and i'm thinking that's not here uh you know when do you move there uh and uh i said so um so you're

00:11:36.200 doing this with the flyers and he said no we also uh you know we're gonna tell the media and so you

00:11:42.920 know radio television it'll be everywhere and i thought hmm i don't see a lot of people sitting

00:11:50.680 down in their living rooms because their living rooms have washed four blocks down the street with

00:11:56.940 their televisions in it um you know maybe they have a little portable television that they just have

00:12:01.880 to plug in oh no they don't have any power and uh i said you know they they're probably not watching

00:12:08.200 tv he said but yeah but the word will get around okay all right um uh and he said you know and

00:12:14.760 there's an app this is the greatest app this app will do everything and all they have to do is just

00:12:20.580 download it on their phone and uh and cory said well they you know they don't they don't really have

00:12:27.160 power to plug their phones in he said yeah but a lot of people can just go to their cars

00:12:32.020 and plug their cars you know plug the phone into the car to charge it and uh we we pointed out to him

00:12:39.040 you mean the cars like right turn around see that river see all the cars that are in the the creek now

00:12:47.680 that are destroyed you mean they're sitting in those cars because they no longer have cars

00:12:54.140 that's that's what was happening in my head i just said hmm uh and uh uh he uh he said but we have to

00:13:05.600 be where the people are and i said well if the people don't come out and he said well then we go

00:13:09.580 door to door and i'm thinking that's good because they don't have doors and i i said when you do that

00:13:16.120 and he said well that's above my pay grade you know it's the government so you know i i don't have

00:13:20.320 that information is there anybody here that does have them yeah my boss where's your boss sitting

00:13:25.540 at the table no in the air-conditioned truck right now she's in the air-conditioned truck oh good can 0.87

00:13:30.860 you can you maybe go get your boss you know tell her you know she'll have to come out here where it's 0.91

00:13:35.260 hot you know but she can go right back into the air-conditioned truck uh where she can get away from 1.00

00:13:41.420 all of these people uh and so she comes out she was a delightful lady uh and uh and uh we said when 0.97

00:13:49.740 he didn't know when you start going door to door and she looked at him and she said we don't go door

00:13:54.400 to door you don't go door to door no we're here you know where it's all happening and i looked at

00:14:05.560 cory and cory looked at me and we're like it's not happening here this isn't where people are i mean

00:14:12.460 if you want to be a little closer to where people are going you should go where the food is

00:14:19.660 yeah well we we were talking about that today oh okay good good good and the truck doesn't really

00:14:27.940 work yet uh but we're still gathering information because that oh the relief that these people can get

00:14:34.540 oh it's it's really it's just amazing i bet it is uh and then i just started to back away from this

00:14:45.260 oh i don't even know murder scene it was just so ugly uh and i just started backing away and gory

00:14:52.200 looked at me and just smiled and he's like thank you for your time and he said boy i've never seen

00:14:57.320 you so quiet and i was like don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all you don't

00:15:03.900 want to know what i was thinking in my head it was so offensive but that was the fema in action 1.00

00:16:27.200 the podcast you're listening to the best of the glenbeck program

00:16:33.000 they have cory on yet okay he's probably i don't know rescuing somebody uh cory mills

00:16:44.920 uh who is still in asheville uh we're going to talk to him in just a second he's a congressman from

00:16:50.100 florida by the way i would he's the best uh congressman i i think i've ever met first of all

00:16:59.560 he is big time constitution he was quoting stuff from the constitution i'm like yeah yeah i know right

00:17:05.740 where that is that's a section of order v and uh uh but he he really knows it and is a uh wild

00:17:15.260 supporter of it uh and he's also has a servant's heart he's running a campaign right now and uh you

00:17:22.820 know it's a close it's a close election and he's like i can't go to my maker and say you know lord i uh

00:17:31.000 i could have helped all those people uh in the hurricane but i had to run a campaign so that's

00:17:38.340 the kind of guy he is so if you're living in his district in florida i can't tell you i've not been

00:17:44.320 and we've worked with him for a long time but this is the first time we met i've not been this impressed

00:17:48.780 by any politician um rarely i can i can name like two people and i'm being generous two people uh and

00:18:00.740 now three with cory um anyway jill savage uh from blaze news tonight was uh with me yesterday and we

00:18:08.240 want to go over a couple of things um you felt the same thing that i felt absolutely the the people

00:18:15.340 there in north carolina were exactly what we needed right we we've seen the devastation on the news but

00:18:21.520 the people are what is going to make the difference and pull them through and it was 9 12 you remember

00:18:27.860 what we were like on 9 12 yes it was just like that anybody who's wondered are we gonna pull back

00:18:34.000 together if there's a yes the answer is yeah and it felt so good it felt so good to feel that can i can

00:18:42.100 share one of the stories that one of the cousins or grandkids told us yesterday when we're picking

00:18:46.240 uh grandma up getting there to the yeah to the helicopter um they were telling us okay so our

00:18:51.880 our neighbors everybody's in trouble right one of these guys the roof blew off and somebody had a

00:18:56.280 serious head injury this is crazy so so what did we do we grabbed a ladder put the person on the ladder

00:19:02.780 walked three miles to the firehouse and then there was some wilderness emt there and a bunch of good

00:19:10.720 old boys and they were like you know what we'll do whatever we can bring them in and they they were

00:19:16.240 problem solving left and right it was it that that story was amazing this guy had a he walked out to

00:19:23.180 check the the animals um on this farm and the roof i think from another house blew off and hit him in the

00:19:32.620 head and he was laying out a major head injury uh and somebody else saw it happen and he runs out

00:19:41.200 and they carry him three miles in the storm at the height of the storm i mean and everybody seemed to

00:19:49.200 know each other uh it's it's a weird place it is so cool it honestly we were when we landed the

00:19:56.660 helicopter there was this big uh beautiful horse that was up in the woods and it was just kind of

00:20:03.400 staring at us in this on this mountainside and i mean it it should have had a one horn in the egg

00:20:11.200 because it was like am i seeing a mythical creature here this place is so magical uh and we landed and

00:20:19.020 these two old guys come walking up the street and they're like how can we help you you know helicopter

00:20:24.140 just landed in in the back field how can we help you well we're looking for you know 3501 black rock

00:20:30.960 or whatever uh i don't know where that is i think it's around the corner who are you trying to help

00:20:37.320 gave him the name oh yeah i know you know what was the the guy who was in the other field uh well so

00:20:45.960 then we were walking trying to find where this house was and we we just walked by this one guy and

00:20:51.160 he's like y'all need a ride his name's jim and we're like yeah jim he's like that's my truck right

00:20:56.120 there get in let's go so here we are glenn beck is sitting on the back of the truck and we're just

00:21:02.180 rolling through town trying to find whatever house this is that we can go get the lady to med backer 1.00

00:21:07.620 on the helicopter we go in and i mean everybody was helping each other everybody knew you know what

00:21:16.100 was going on and and and there's no coordination they don't even i mean the cell service there

00:21:22.020 not good not good and then and then word gets out that glenn beck has landed in a field in a

00:21:27.440 helicopter and stew you can only imagine that the people are like i'm sorry what who's who's in my

00:21:32.960 field right now and we were about to take off and there was this one woman who is just she's like 0.98

00:21:37.660 this is my one chance i am going and she just bolts out there and runs and gets a picture with you and 1.00

00:21:42.760 and it was it was such a great day it was really great uh we have cory mills uh congressman cory

00:21:48.540 mills vote cory mills uh uh hello congressman how are you i'm good how are you good good uh listen uh

00:21:58.360 we had to go rescue some people so we didn't get a chance to see everything we wanted to see but i

00:22:06.580 want to put life in front of our needs that's fine um but we didn't get to chimney rock and and uh

00:22:13.700 are you going to be able to make it up there today to find out some things for us i will i'm going to

00:22:17.720 be heading to chimney rock and also the questions that i want to ask was with regards to uh kind of

00:22:23.400 the comments that's been made that the federal government's looking to essentially just bulldoze

00:22:27.400 that entire area um but i haven't heard anything on whether or not they plan to rebuild that area

00:22:32.780 yeah that starts to tie into things that we've heard in the past about uh lithium resource

00:22:38.220 capabilities and also different assets in the region um but i will say that it's a bit bizarre

00:22:43.740 you know this being the fifth day uh for me in western north carolina uh and thanks to mercury one

00:22:49.360 and and i'll tell you that the amazing veteran-led charity operations it is incredible that we're now

00:22:56.700 going to be dropping over 10 tons in the last five days as of today so we will have over

00:23:02.560 20 000 pounds of supplies that we've moved in the last five days before fema and their single 1.00

00:23:09.100 communication truck where they're claiming that you can just go watch on the media to find their

00:23:14.040 location i guess the houses and tv are out oh my god um have even lifted a finger the blood was

00:23:20.240 shooting out of my eyes i you know i was thinking all your face that when the minute she said they

00:23:25.700 watch it on the media i look at your face and i was like if i wasn't here right now oh my gosh i would

00:23:31.180 have i mean blood was shooting out of my eyes and i all i could think of as my mom if you don't have

00:23:35.920 anything nice to say don't say anything at all and i just i mean i think you saw me back up a little

00:23:40.920 bit because i was like i actually did i can't take it i can't take it um so anyway and at first when

00:23:47.020 you backed up i just kind of like i stood there for a minute and i i started to slowly back up as well

00:23:51.480 because i was like maybe he's wanting to leave maybe i'm i don't know and then i realized that no

00:23:55.820 you're just creating distance oh so that you didn't lose so you know what was so frustrating is when 0.77

00:24:02.840 we got to the fema truck which was pathetic absolutely pathetic and they came in like conquering 1.00

00:24:08.460 heroes you know we're here now you know it's like it's like new yorkers going to any small town in 0.98

00:24:15.420 america all right you're saved i'm ready to be your mayor i'm from new york it was like that you

00:24:21.640 found this truck like a where's waldo i mean it was in the middle of nowhere away from the actual

00:24:28.520 and i'm going to use their term the masses and like it just was comical to me that we talked to

00:24:35.720 the first guy and he's like yeah we're going to get ready to go for dated door-to-door operations

00:24:39.960 when oh that's above my pay grade well well let me get you your supervisor and then you talk

00:24:45.200 to the supervisor glenn and she says well we have no plan to actually do door-to-door that's not our

00:24:49.340 job in our department crazy it's just it was it was so frustrating and the thing i noticed and this

00:24:55.040 why i feel like this was 9 12 do you know what that day felt like or you remember 9 12 2001 yeah

00:25:01.700 it felt like that and it gave me so much hope because this is just the beginning of these are the

00:25:08.260 birth pangs of things to come uh and all of america is going to need uh you're going to need help and

00:25:16.080 it's not going to come and uh i'll tell you i i just felt so hopeful so incredibly hopeful

00:25:24.420 being there uh but the one thing i did uh i heard a lot of and i don't know if you can tell the story

00:25:31.400 of uh i think it was fema that came into where we've set up a clinic one of the uh you know

00:25:39.360 veteran-led uh they set up a clinic can you tell that story yeah so we've set up uh multiple

00:25:45.980 distribution uh center areas and especially around ashville and adam smith who's a former special

00:25:50.980 forces guy whose ex-wife and child actually lives in and around the actual area um you know when we

00:25:58.500 first started this day one it was literally a small overhang of supplies and if you go there

00:26:06.400 now it's the largest distribution area in the entire western north carolina area and we had set

00:26:12.840 up clinics as well there's kind of this med bay clinic and to your point about the conquering romans

00:26:18.100 that are walking in they were like okay we're here now we're going to take your supplies and you

00:26:22.220 actually don't have the ability to operate here because you're not operating under a certified

00:26:27.180 medical license of north carolina now take a moment to think about that they haven't been there

00:26:35.220 for a week we've been treating people getting medivacs into johnson city like the gentleman who was

00:26:42.760 having cardiac arrest a woman who was showing signs of bone disease and hypertension or the person that

00:26:48.140 you grappled down like some i don't know captain america and went and rescued off the top of a

00:26:54.440 mountain yeah anyway go ahead and doing some good hoist house yeah but we've been dropping i mean

00:26:59.380 even up in areas like pentacle in north carolina was one of the most isolated areas up in the

00:27:04.320 mountains at like a 5 000 plus foot level um which i know you refer to it as the you know smoky hills

00:27:10.580 they're now the smoky mountains we've now shown that no i said yesterday i can't make fun of them

00:27:15.000 anymore i can't i've actually seen that i could live here yeah i could in a heartbeat anyway think about

00:27:21.380 this though so we're treating people we're getting the key medications that they need for type one

00:27:26.160 you know diabetics we're getting oxygen for people who don't have the ability to resupply because there

00:27:31.180 is no resupply we have more oxygen in our aid area than mission hospital had said that they actually had

00:27:37.940 and so we're operating helping save lives and here comes fema oh you can't do that you can't remain 0.54

00:27:45.420 on this location to treat people because you don't have a north carolina medical license

00:27:49.240 unbelievable and uh and and and what was said to them basically to piss off

00:27:57.120 i mean this is a team who's literally these are their family members these are people who are

00:28:03.860 proper veterans and they basically said oh you don't like it well you can leave or we can just

00:28:08.580 relocate our clinic right i mean you know that's like limeright sight yeah these these guys are

00:28:15.300 i mean this this town and the veterans i i have to tell you good comes out of everything god uses

00:28:24.120 everything even the worst to do good and to do his will you know if you served in afghanistan and you

00:28:32.520 saw how that ended that may all of that may have been to prepare you for the times that are coming

00:28:39.060 so you can help your fellow man in your own country uh these veterans have come out and i gotta tell you

00:28:48.440 they just took charge and they knew exactly what they were doing i mean they're they're running an

00:28:54.500 airport you know and the fea is like oh pete put it judge said you gotta shut this down yeah we're not

00:29:01.400 going to uh it's fantastic just fantastic i would love to see mayor pete come out and tell adam smith

00:29:08.420 who looks like he's a professional wrestler or you know defensive back at about 340 pounds and 6'4

00:29:15.360 um i'd like for him to come out and tell him that he can't continue to save lives yeah he looks more

00:29:20.080 like stretch armstrong uh you know there's a big hole i don't think you'll have time to come out there

00:29:25.260 glenn because he's still nursing yeah you're listening to the best of the glenn beck podcast

00:29:30.560 hear more of this interview and others with the full show podcast available wherever you get podcasts

00:29:36.060 all right let me start with uh let me start with the name of the person that is responsible for

00:29:42.940 breaking the back of the strike now i'm glad they moved it down you know they they just held off

00:29:49.840 all right we're gonna hold off till after the election and just about five days before the

00:29:56.960 swearing in of the oh it's gonna work out well um so but we don't have that on the plate to add to

00:30:05.920 the stress of america at least right now and that is because of one man and one man only ron de santis

00:30:14.700 ron de santis came out yesterday and said yeah i'm gonna call out the national guard

00:30:20.680 uh because we're not going to be held hostage so national guard is going to go in and they'll open

00:30:26.320 the ports we'll open the ports uh for florida so we get things and supplies in here national guard 0.99

00:30:32.040 will load it oh my gosh i love you i mean if it wasn't for the icky sex ron i mean i would be gay 0.96

00:30:39.540 in a heartbeat seriously i just love you look how look how accepting you are yeah you want to talk 0.98

00:30:45.720 about diversity on the show i i don't a gay radio hall of fame member right there you got it if it 0.98

00:30:51.320 wasn't for the icky sex yes yes so anyway um i'm sorry i've got i've got an appointment later on this 0.96

00:31:01.460 afternoon to burn some books in a hood um but uh uh this guy is amazing i think donald trump

00:31:08.460 should announce a few members of a cabinet and he should do it right now he should announce that

00:31:15.840 elon musk has agreed to be you know the cost cutting czar it seems like they've floated that

00:31:23.640 one and it's been discussed it's not official but he needs to he needs to announce that uh rfk

00:31:30.580 tulsi gabbard elon musk and i've extended the invitation to run fema and close fema down

00:31:42.220 and give the state the ability the state's ability to actually keep that money themselves

00:31:49.960 and prepare for disaster i'd like ron de santis to run fema i think he would be unbelievable

00:31:58.140 his term is up in 26 i mean i'd wait for that would you wait for that i'd wait some of those

00:32:04.800 ideas are great that you just weren't mentioned um so yeah i agree you just can't get past your

00:32:10.680 hatred for rfk can you you just hate him so much you know if he jilted you he said i'm not interested 1.00

00:32:16.920 in that icky gay sex with stew okay please stop talking 1.00

00:32:20.860 not even about just this topic all topics okay yeah um if we're going to if we're going to put a 1.00

00:32:28.520 lifelong democrat into the administration in some way i i would far prefer tulsi gabbard that would

00:32:35.200 be my stance on that particular issue uh just just god forbid just for the the wives of the other 1.00

00:32:42.020 people in the cabinet all right i mean god please we all know he's a kennedy so we all know um so

00:32:47.860 but what i will say uh is i mean i i don't know honestly to be honest about it really really love

00:32:56.180 ron de santis really think i would like him to do something more important than uh than that's fine

00:33:03.540 whatever i'm just saying just one i'm just saying his job right now is is great and i could see him

00:33:09.820 with higher office certainly down the road right and i i'd give him any job i wouldn't want to pull

00:33:15.380 him out of florida to run no no i said his term is up in 26th yeah i would give that man any job

00:33:20.960 that he wanted what do you want to run yeah when you're done with governor what do you want to run 0.99

00:33:24.300 uh and involve him but he is when it comes to disasters that guy excuse the expression is an ass 0.85

00:33:32.500 kicker yeah i mean he's amazing and like that's what i feel like used to be a really something we

00:33:38.700 really prized that cross partisan lines like the just the general competence in times of stress

00:33:47.360 used to be the thing that i mean i think that was one of the things that happened with bush where like

00:33:51.060 he was seen i think largely unfairly for botching the katrina stuff and it was more damaging to him

00:34:00.180 not because liberals turned against him they are all calling him a terrorist the whole time 0.87

00:34:04.940 and that he was intentionally responsible for 9-11 yeah and he was and he hated black people he was 0.94

00:34:11.180 letting them die that's right i mean if you want to make that case we can make that case about white 1.00

00:34:17.000 people but i'm not going to uh george bush doesn't care about black people if you remember that from 0.99

00:34:22.840 kanye west who has had quite a journey since that particular statement when the media loved him back

00:34:28.360 then when he was uh was saying those things um but what happened with bush with katrina and a couple

00:34:34.800 of other things in that area uh of time was that he it felt like he was incompetent and his own

00:34:41.560 supporters and moderates and kind of independent voters started to bail on him yeah right and then

00:34:47.700 of course the war going poorly sort of added on to that but like that was a a a really central thing

00:34:54.400 of what we expected and wanted out of politicians just you know like yeah you have opinions we all know

00:34:59.240 you have opinions we might not like your policies but in those moments are you going to be the person

00:35:03.800 who steps up and gets the job done desantis has done that every single time every time every time

00:35:09.580 i wish i would have snapped a picture of him you know uh he was holding a press conference and behind

00:35:15.600 him were what appeared to be miles of utility trucks and he's like we're ready it's like yeah yeah you are

00:35:24.440 you are you know and and he believes in the 10th amendment oh oh so the unions are going to shut

00:35:32.840 down our ports well no i'm the governor of florida and if the federal government won't do anything

00:35:39.040 i'm calling out our national guard and we'll keep those ports open that's the reason they folded they

00:35:45.640 lost all of their power in negotiation they lost all of it uh so it was uh thank you ronda santis for

00:35:53.580 saving the country on that one can i ask you glenn about and this is you know lower priority than

00:35:59.280 the stuff you've been talking about uh when it comes to your trip to north carolina yesterday in

00:36:03.620 this whole region but there is a political concern here right we've got an election that's a month away

00:36:09.880 and i have to tell may i tell you a quick story on this yeah sure uh a couple of days ago we rescued

00:36:16.120 a woman who was uh up two women that were up on on a mountain and uh they were flagging the helicopter 0.86

00:36:25.340 and we were taking somebody else to the hospital i think and so the other helicopter was called and

00:36:31.200 they came and they picked him up they brought him down uh from the mountain they were out of food and

00:36:37.140 and one of the first things they said was uh before we go back up uh we need to vote can you can you take

00:36:46.880 us i mean these people are pissed they are pissed if if north carolina does not go hard for trump

00:36:58.600 i'd be shocked really yeah they're pissed i mean they are pissed it's a big part of the reason i'm

00:37:04.620 asking yeah uh because you know this is a key swing state i i think donald trump if he doesn't win

00:37:12.680 north carolina i don't think he could win yeah i don't i mean it there's a path it's possible but i

00:37:18.700 think it's super unlikely if he doesn't win i mean the very very cynical part of me which is almost all

00:37:23.480 of me at this point uh says you know there's one of the reasons why they're not helping there is

00:37:29.200 you've just taken out a swath of trump supporters okay this is this is yeah this is some have died

00:37:36.160 but also some have well that's what i mean totally you can't get to pull these people they don't have

00:37:42.520 cars their bridges are washed out i mean it's going to be tough but i'll tell you i i met several

00:37:50.600 people the the old lady who we rescued that she's like 80 years old she's fantastic and she didn't 1.00

00:37:58.720 know who i was or who cory mills was we were just helping her get into the and as she's being put into 0.88

00:38:05.440 the life flight she's just this damn biden he doesn't give a flying crap and she was colorful uh 0.90

00:38:15.580 and i thought i think i know who she's voting for yeah uh you know and this used to be democratic 0.99

00:38:21.660 country oh really oh because i think of that part of the state as more red you do now this this was

00:38:28.560 these were tobacco farmers okay and you know they they don't have health care they don't these are

00:38:34.760 poor poor people and so you know they've been for government assistance because they've needed

00:38:41.220 government assistance but now they see what this government assistance really means no they're

00:38:47.700 not interested this has turned people at least in that area i think this has made them generational

00:38:55.260 republicans just because of how bad this response everybody i everybody i talked to was pissed at the

00:39:05.040 federal government they were pissed i heard i can't tell you how many times i heard yesterday

00:39:10.160 really how much money are they given to these illegal immigrants and we've got nothing no one's on the

00:39:18.260 ground i'm telling you i didn't see national guard i know the national guard is there they've been

00:39:23.440 there for four or five days i think um but i didn't see any of them and i was in really some of the

00:39:29.580 hardest hit areas uh i didn't there was no federal anything except the uh satellite truck for fema which

00:39:38.940 wasn't working at the time that but they're gonna who they're where the people are no they weren't they

00:39:43.860 were out in the middle of nowhere uh signing people up so they could get their paperwork in and start the

00:39:50.700 system to help chug along uh and uh and there was they were helping one person it was it was despicable

00:39:58.860 uh then um there was another place where fema was at another center where they were they put up showers 1.00

00:40:06.040 so people could take showers which i thought was really nice until they said that you know no no

00:40:11.420 not for the people but for the volunteers so the volunteers could take showers the people you know

00:40:17.400 anybody gonna go into the shower it was it's obscene it's obscene when when mercury one

00:40:25.280 is the one that is providing all of the o2 for all of the ambulances and one of the hospitals

00:40:33.460 because they can't get it when that's happening excuse me federal government when there are people

00:40:44.500 literally we're saving their lives because we're providing insulin and life-saving drugs that they

00:40:53.540 can't that nobody else has government's not there handing out these drugs i mean you can go into the

00:41:00.420 cities you go into homeless areas and you know they'll hand you drugs there you know lots of drugs

00:41:07.180 you need heroin they'll help you out on this but insulin they're not there it is it's shameful

00:41:14.160 i have i started telling you earlier today off the air i asked you do you remember the day i came in

00:41:20.280 when we were air vacuuming people out of afghanistan i should say trying to we had an air force

00:41:28.660 there of of 737s and 747s uh on the ground in iraq uh sorry afghanistan and the state department was

00:41:39.080 blocking us and then something happened that day where they mocked us they mocked us the state

00:41:46.600 department we said okay it's been three days we got all the paperwork that you told us we had to have

00:41:52.160 everybody is on paperwork oh no you need form 117b what what is that form it's a new form okay where

00:41:59.460 do we get that form well you can only get it at the embassy uh in afghanistan in kabul you closed

00:42:07.720 the embassy three days ago yeah well how do we get that well it's just something you're gonna have to

00:42:14.120 figure out click i walked right onto your stage because i was supposed and i was so mad i said i will

00:42:20.180 renounce my citizenship if this is who we are this is evil i was that close yesterday this country

00:42:29.420 is so good so good the people are so good and it's the government that has gone very dark they don't

00:42:40.680 care that i know we have the most compassionate politically correct people who just want the whole

00:42:48.320 rainbow to come together they despise they despise great swaths of people san francisco goes down 0.86

00:42:58.160 and they need help you damn right mercury one will be down on the ground and we won't be saying who did 0.97

00:43:04.000 you vote for we will help them appalachia goes down oh we're all out of money oh my gosh you print money 0.99

00:43:14.920 you print money you print money can't take it

00:43:19.240 you
