00:03:04.040 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program gas price lowest this weekend on memorial
00:03:23.040 day weekend since it's that it's been since 2003 now you might say but glenn it's three dollars a
00:03:30.720 gallon yes but i remember it was less than three dollars a gallon in 2003 and you'd be right it was
00:03:40.100 a dollar 53 however the slight caveat on the happy part is your dollar uh your dollar has lost about
00:03:52.780 half its value so uh a dollar 53 what you could buy in 2003 for a dollar 53 now costs three dollars
00:03:59.800 so you know but but just remember it's the lowest that it has been so that is good news
00:04:07.740 the inflation thing might be a problem we should work on we should work on really how do you stop
00:04:14.780 something like that is there a path to maybe try to reduce inflation over a long period of time um
00:04:21.340 you stop spending so much money um uh and you don't print money huh or borrow money like that yeah
00:04:28.600 what if instead we try to get like 50 trillion dollars in in debt would that be another path to success
00:04:34.860 what is your goal
00:04:38.020 i was hoping to lower inflation is that would that work no that would not work not i just wanted to
00:04:46.100 make sure that you weren't one of the marxist radicals that were like i'd collapse the system
00:04:49.700 oh okay because that would work that would work for that work yeah that would that would work for
00:04:53.600 that uh let me give you some uh some more good news here um let's see uh the former candidate who
00:04:59.580 threatened to hire a russian ukrainian hit squad to kill anna polina luna going to jail in prison
00:05:06.540 in prison yeah we got that going for us there's some good news law enforcement is beginning to work
00:05:12.120 uh supreme court has sided with judge on uh or sided with uh trump on the firing of officials from
00:05:20.680 independent federal agencies so uh he can remove without cause executive officers who exercise that
00:05:29.620 power on his behalf subject to very narrow exemptions uh a trump judge has also killed
00:05:36.680 biden's requirement that employers accommodate workers efforts to abort their own unborn children
00:05:41.780 you know what i can't come in tomorrow uh early um because i'm going to take the abortion pill and
00:05:49.380 i might be hemorrhaging almost to death on my bathroom floor um but they assure me that it's completely
00:05:55.480 safe so but you still have to pay me for that um no no you don't have to you know glenn it's don't
00:06:02.260 have to do not every host can work in the story of someone hemorrhaging uh after a failed abortion
00:06:07.760 into the good news segment of the program but you did it that's radio hall of fame right there i did
00:06:12.320 it thank you thank you for recognition on this dude thank you finally somebody sees the talent that i
00:06:18.720 have to do that and there you have it another example of why glenn beck is in the radio hall of
00:06:26.240 fame thank you senate has now voted to overturn california's ev mandate that is a huge defeat for
00:06:34.040 climate activists and i weep for them uh while we're there with the epa i don't know if you saw
00:06:40.220 zeldin testifying in front of congress uh but uh oh my gosh it was it was it was it was almost
00:06:48.380 conservative porn i like lee zeldin a lot um and uh one senate democrat coming after him and zeldin
00:06:57.420 turned and said you know the american taxpayers they put president trump in office because of people
00:07:02.620 like you because what he was saying is we're cutting the budget of the epa because there's waste there's
00:07:09.080 fraud and there's corruption and he decided uh they decided they didn't like that they didn't like
00:07:15.500 that and so uh white house senator sheldon whitehouse from rhode island um he's looking at
00:07:22.380 and he says wait a minute wait a minute you are lying about the waste fraud and abuse and he said
00:07:30.160 no no senator i i'm not uh we're just not going to waste dollars because you insist on epa uh the epa
00:07:39.760 lighting taxpayer dollars on fire we're not going to do it um and he said and uh he came back he said
00:07:46.380 you don't you don't even know you you have nothing you you can't even tell me any of these cuts he's
00:07:51.620 like i yeah you know i could go through all of them i'm i'm i'm prepared to go through all of them
00:07:56.960 uh and that's when ed markey another super superhero from massachusetts he said well provide that list
00:08:05.140 provide the list of waste fraud and abuse and then zeldon said okay well let's start here provide the
00:08:12.260 list and he's like i got it i let me just as soon as he starts he interrupts him and then he's like
00:08:20.440 zeldon just keeps talking and he's and and uh and markey says i i reclaim my time i i call my time back
00:08:27.220 they had no and zeldon said you don't want me to go through the list of all the evidence of waste
00:08:34.900 and abuse you don't care about the conflicts of interest you don't care about all of the
00:08:40.160 unqualified recipients every time every time i start to give it i'm happy to go through the list
00:08:48.020 but you declare there's no evidence but you don't want me to even go through the list every time i talk
00:08:54.160 you talk over me um the democrats are just i mean they are really floundering by the way and um and
00:09:02.940 maybe we're going to see some more justice here act blue officials they have been uh they have been
00:09:09.800 asked to come to testify in front of congress and uh because congress is doing a foreign donations probe
00:09:17.740 now stew foreign donations that would be like if um
00:09:21.940 it'd be like if trump was being funded by the russians that's a pretty big deal right i remember that
00:09:30.480 being a really big deal sure yeah he's getting money from foreign governments he's on the take
00:09:36.060 from foreign governments and then you know of course we had biden who was taking all kinds of
00:09:39.980 cash from several foreign governments maybe it's only if you have one foreign government giving you
00:09:44.260 money i'm not sure um but they made a really big deal about that with trump nothing about biden
00:09:49.120 uh and now the act blue people are refusing to testify and congress is like mom that's fine we'll
00:09:54.760 subpoena you so there might be some people going to jail there i'm telling you handcuffs are coming
00:09:59.320 handcuffs are coming over the next couple of months i think we're going to see lots of handcuffs coming
00:10:04.320 out we're going to see handcuffs on the people of um covid the covid fraud the cover-up that's what's
00:10:12.020 going to happen it's the cover-up it's not about the vaccine it's not fauci it's going to be the
00:10:17.240 people that knew that there were really dangerous side effects and then tried to cover that up and
00:10:24.200 keep that out of the press and keep people from knowing about those side effects um and those
00:10:29.740 people you're going to see them in handcuffs i think very very soon um the the uh church and it'll it
00:10:37.140 won't be just political people um a church and 20 people have been charged in a 60 million dollar
00:10:44.660 medicaid scam um the ag um from arizona has accused the happy house behavioral health llc
00:10:54.720 the happy house behavioral health sounds like fun well to me the first phrase that pops into my mind is
00:11:06.080 uh would you like rub down at happy house oh no i mean i'm just saying i'm uh it's what comes to mind
00:11:13.080 anyway um they uh they took taxpayer funds for services it either it neither you know provided
00:11:20.480 or only partially delivered um and then they were billing uh for services for clients who were
00:11:27.720 deceased or in prison so they couldn't uh they couldn't have given them those services i guess
00:11:34.520 no rubdowns in uh prison it's always sad when you have that situation when you lose
00:11:41.220 the rubdowns in prison it's always very very sad you know uh john deere is uh is deciding you know
00:11:50.920 what maybe we should be a little more american because after all we are john deere uh john deere who
00:11:57.720 is and if memory serves me correctly uh kind of a radical out of step with the heartland of america
00:12:08.120 uh kind of company um but uh they yeah they've seen the light they've seen the light uh they're going
00:12:15.340 to invest 20 billion dollars in u.s operations over the next 10 years so that's a couple billion dollars
00:12:21.940 they're pouring into our uh manufacturing and uh job creation and our local communities so
00:12:28.100 congratulations john deere for stepping to the plate uh the federal uh there's a federal probe now
00:12:35.280 with media matters that makes me sad oh no wait i'm sorry just the opposite makes me happy
00:12:40.520 um the congress is now looking in the feds i'm sorry not just congress uh but federal regulators are
00:12:48.260 now looking into media matters over their plot to defund musk's x and silence dissenting voices
00:12:54.840 now that's something new i've not heard of media matters trying to uh silence voices that uh are
00:13:02.200 are voices of dissent have you heard that stew about them i uh no gosh i mean they just seem like such a
00:13:09.060 i mean what they're doing is monitoring the media to make sure you know that's right the conservative
00:13:15.280 media which as you know controls the entire ecosphere of of media and make sure they held
00:13:22.960 that hold them accountable because that's that's what they do glenn also they just take a bunch of
00:13:27.840 money from their donors and light it on fire that's the other thing they do uh yeah they do they're so
00:13:33.780 they're so there's just such wonderful people uh the u.s mint now is uh following through on the death
00:13:40.620 of the penny uh the last order for pennies uh has just been given and so they're stopped producing
00:13:49.780 metal pennies now now i just i just want to ask
00:13:54.980 are we doing cardboard penny why is it phrased that way we've produced we're no longer producing
00:14:04.120 metal pennies i think it's to to allow for the fact that we will still calculate pennies in digital
00:14:11.060 form um going forward so it's not like right every we're just rounding up to the nearest five cents
00:14:17.500 right right but like no not not that's in a in a uh retail transaction that's supposedly what's going
00:14:24.400 to happen when we run out of pennies so you go to 7 11 you buy something it's 289 you pay 290
00:14:30.120 um so that's what's going to happen but if if you're sent if i'm sending you a venmo i can still
00:14:37.480 send you two dollars and 89 cents right like so okay digitally i can yeah so my digital wow wouldn't
00:14:46.360 it be great if we had a central bank digital currency it would make all these penny things
00:14:50.020 so much easier uh so digitally you can use pennies but not in actual cash transactions yeah one once they
00:14:57.840 run out they're doing that thing that some companies do where they'll just saying like
00:15:01.460 we're not firing everybody we're just not replacing anyone who retires that's kind of the concept with
00:15:07.480 the penny thing so they're just going to okay let them kind of run out of existence but they'll still
00:15:11.500 i mean obviously there's a lot of them out there so there'll still be transactions for a long time
00:15:15.400 so i don't know if this is waste i mean that donald trump he's lying about waste all the time
00:15:20.780 uh 10 years ago the penny production uh to produce one penny it was 1.3 cents so it cost us a third of
00:15:30.300 a penny more than the penny was worth to make the penny um and uh but don't worry about it um you know
00:15:39.460 since the pandemic is just up now to 3.69 so three cents uh wow what i would just say that 3.69 cents
00:15:49.960 right yeah i mean over three times or about three times as much as yeah as there's as they actually
00:15:55.840 are worth it takes to produce them by the way also the other part of that is it's actually cheaper
00:16:01.320 to produce a dollar than it is to produce a penny which is perfectly sensible isn't that amazing
00:16:09.420 because think of the technology that goes into dollars
00:16:11.560 i mean it's just it's cotton it's got the stuff woven into it it has holograms it has watermarks
00:16:20.720 think of what i mean that that's amazing you can produce that for less than three cents
00:16:26.560 yeah it's something like it's like 1.4 cents or something for a dollar wow which is so it's much
00:16:32.440 much cheaper than producing a penny so trump uh the doj has just dismissed by narrow lawsuits
00:16:39.400 against minneapolis louisville uh the police department there um trump has escalated the war
00:16:45.500 against harvard uh you know harvard just loves their dei programs uh and uh gosh darn it we just
00:16:52.520 we have to be anti-racist and you know what maybe a little uh pro palestine uh palestinians you know
00:16:57.680 free palestine free palestine um so they're shutting down the visas uh to harvard for any international
00:17:05.000 international students which uh is interesting and harvard is like oh we're gonna fight this
00:17:10.440 well go ahead go ahead but uh you're gonna lose all those foreign students during the fight unless
00:17:16.160 we could find an activist judge i wonder if we could do that uh more in just a second you know when you
00:17:21.360 give to pre-born you probably you know are you're probably not going to see what happens next because
00:17:28.200 you're not going to be there when that nurse just gently uh squeezes the ultrasound gel onto the
00:17:33.980 frightened young woman's belly you're not going to hear the hum of the machine as the flickering
00:17:37.720 image comes into focus you won't see her eyes wide wet and locked into the screen as she realized
00:17:43.260 what's happening really inside of her because you can't be there doesn't mean that it doesn't happen
00:17:51.720 and you're not there in spirit because of people like you all of this happens every day and what
00:17:59.020 follows is nothing short of a miracle giving how terrified this poor woman is of her future she chooses
00:18:03.320 life she holds her baby months later shaking exhausting exhausted overwhelmed but smiling she raises
00:18:10.200 that child and she has help because of people like you 28 is a gift that will provide the first
00:18:17.160 ultrasound you want to give more because these these clinics also go on to help the moms for up to two
00:18:22.140 years after birth get involved just dial pound 250 say the keyword baby this is real compassion and
00:18:28.120 real answers pound 250 keyword baby go to preborn.com slash beck that's preborn.com slash beck
00:18:35.000 sponsored by preborn now back to the podcast this is the best of the glenbeck program
00:18:41.560 i you're going to hear a wild wild true story from uh robbie starbuck when i heard this
00:18:51.080 a few weeks back i was outraged outraged and uh i immediately wrote uh to uh robbie said whatever
00:18:59.600 you need uh i will stand with you on this because i don't care you know robbie and i happen to agree
00:19:06.500 on on a lot of stuff um and i consider him a friend but uh i don't care if he wasn't a friend
00:19:12.720 or we didn't agree what meta has done to robbie um needs to be corrected or they will do it to
00:19:21.880 everyone uh i'm going to bring robbie starbuck in so he can he can tell the story hello robbie how are
00:19:27.720 you i'm doing well thanks glenn i appreciate it yeah um thank you for coming on and telling the story
00:19:34.740 explain explain what happened what has happened to you because of meta and their ai
00:19:41.340 yeah so for those who are unfamiliar you know basically for the last year my mission along
00:19:48.760 with my team has been eliminating dei policies at major corporations and we've done that with
00:19:53.160 i've said you know most of the biggest companies on earth and uh with great success and so at the
00:19:58.100 time in august 2024 we were focused on harley-davidson and eventually changed their policies but there
00:20:03.200 was one particular harley-davidson dealership that was not happy about it and they're from bernie
00:20:07.880 sanders state of vermont and so they had posted online a screenshot of meta ai and it said that i
00:20:16.180 had been um at january 6th and was you know part of the you know events of that day and that i
00:20:25.160 committed a crime and so i immediately thought charged with a crime well we found out about that
00:20:31.280 so we we we go in and and we ask um meta ai because i initially thought they'd maybe faked
00:20:37.980 it or something you know that was my i'm like there's no way one of the biggest companies on
00:20:41.320 earth you know is inventing a crime that i committed right and so we go and check it and lo and behold
00:20:47.400 actually and not only says that i committed a crime it says that i was charged and arrested and
00:20:52.620 it later said i pled guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct over january 6th um and the weird
00:20:59.400 part is i wasn't even in dc that day so like this was totally wholesale invented out of nowhere
00:21:04.240 and we found out something later that actually makes it even more concerning this does not appear
00:21:10.960 to be a hallucination in the best estimation of myself my team and uh ai experts we've spoken to
00:21:18.560 because when meta releases ai models uh they release the version you can download and you know disconnect
00:21:25.340 from the internet and it will continue to work because it's like their trained model right these are
00:21:29.060 called llama 3.0 3.123 so on and so forth when you do that and you try to recreate the situation it
00:21:36.660 consistently comes up with the same lies about me and they range from the january 6th stuff to
00:21:43.100 in general saying that i'm essentially a dangerous person it actually had told advertisers not to
00:21:48.880 advertise with my show said don't work with him you know he's you know essentially a dangerous
00:21:54.120 individual and it even insisted that authorities should consider taking my kids from me and put
00:22:01.160 them in the care of somebody just a second hang on hold on just a second i want the audience to
00:22:06.720 understand first of all there's no way this is a hallucination there's no way um so meta ai
00:22:14.340 is has suggested to authorities that uh they take robbie's children away from him because he's so
00:22:24.360 dangerous yeah and you're gonna love this part and not only said that it said that my kids would
00:22:31.140 probably be better off in the care of somebody who was more accepting of transgenderism and dei
00:22:36.320 and you know so if you think about this it makes you feel even more targeted right like the fact that
00:22:42.320 it's going into that narrative tells you that you know it's it's very difficult to think this could
00:22:48.220 be a hallucination because it's very very specific and consistent with sort of left-wing ideology right
00:22:53.860 and so you have to go back to the training and say you know how yes did it get trained to believe this
00:23:01.000 and go further with that we are very close to a future where people are going to have robotics in
00:23:06.760 their homes that are trained on ai um thousands and thousands of apps have already been trained
00:23:11.500 on meta's ai and so that's going to last a very long time right the other interesting thing about ai
00:23:18.960 defamation is that if you say something that is totally untrue about me glenn and i sue you
00:23:23.920 and that you know goes to court and they say glenn defamed robbie you know there is an end point to
00:23:30.620 that right you know you you get justice for it and and you know so on and so forth with meta's ai though
00:23:37.000 there's sort of this weird thing that happens where we could go to court and the court will say oh yeah
00:23:41.300 they defamed robbie and at the end of that you still have all these unplugged models out in the
00:23:46.900 wild that have been downloaded by millions of people and you will never put the genie back in that bottle
00:23:53.240 because they can't update the versions that are disconnected from the internet right so when you
00:23:58.620 think about the future you could have robots that are walking around in law enforcement thinking that i
00:24:03.540 am a criminal or a wanted individual because there was a hallucination at one point that claimed that
00:24:08.660 i was wanted for kidnapping charges too um the whole thing is insane the whole thing is insane glenn
00:24:14.360 and so we sued them because i think that that is the reasonable thing to do to try to get justice here
00:24:19.860 not just for myself but for everybody because like you said this could happen to anybody if it
00:24:24.420 can happen to me it can happen to anybody and if you think about just like everything from custody
00:24:29.080 cases to our future elections you know i mean this could rig elections uh you know i let me just throw
00:24:37.480 one more thing and then i want to ask you some questions um metas ai also claimed that he had appeared on
00:24:43.800 nick fuentes show that he had spoken at nick's rallies and that you supported him um he was engaged in
00:24:52.020 holocaust denial he's never denied the holocaust he doesn't know nick fuentes um and wouldn't be showing
00:25:00.040 up at any of his rallies um this is hard to believe that this is a hallucination because i i mean i'm
00:25:07.860 working uh with ai right now and ai designers and what a hallucination is it can't remember it can't
00:25:16.160 memorize the entire um internet okay it can't memorize all of human uh history and information
00:25:23.420 so it's very good at remembering the beginning and the end and sometimes it will fill in the middle
00:25:29.860 but if you ask it show me the sources on this um it it will usually correct itself you know you have
00:25:38.600 to say ah that's not an actual source and it will usually correct itself and and it doesn't
00:25:44.820 hallucinate the same thing on the same person all the time so for this to continue to get deeper and
00:25:51.820 deeper and deeper with you and make things up that are worse and worse shows that there is something
00:25:58.080 in the algorithm at least this is my feeling and i could i got an ai expert upstairs in the break i'll
00:26:03.960 ask him um but uh it shows there's something in the algorithm that is is tipping the ai to you're a bad
00:26:14.040 guy you're a criminal i mean that's that's how it looks to us you know and you have to wonder
00:26:20.700 you know when there's no rules what kind of effect can an engineer have if they're an activist and they
00:26:28.300 decide i hate this group of people i want to make them look terrible um you know in my case it could
00:26:34.540 look like what you have seen but in an election a lot of people especially young people are increasingly
00:26:40.620 asking you know what's the difference between this candidate and that candidate you know try to
00:26:43.880 figure out who they align with and if ai is allowed to say one is the most flowery version you could
00:26:49.380 write about them right like basically doing pr for them and then the other side is we can literally
00:26:53.640 invent crimes and say they're wanted for kidnapping or child molestation or whatever you know you can
00:26:59.040 shift a couple percentage points in any election on that basis and that's something that i think
00:27:03.860 everybody should find untenable and unacceptable so this is uh i mean you want to talk about david versus
00:27:10.280 goliath um have you filed suit against them and what what's the status of all of this yeah we have
00:27:19.560 filed suit in delaware um that's where you know they're incorporated and um you know i think every
00:27:26.480 legal expert i've seen out there has said dang this is the best defamation case i've ever seen i mean
00:27:33.820 it's so egregious and then meta came out okay so we notified them in august 2024 about what was happening
00:27:39.520 they didn't do anything about it to actually fix the problem until nine months later when i came out
00:27:46.360 with a video where millions of people watched it and became a press story and was all over the media
00:27:50.180 and then they finally step up and try to do some things right and even then it just it was
00:27:57.140 you know i think about a week or close to a week after that had already come out and they had put
00:28:02.380 out a statement apologizing which again is like unheard of in the middle of litigation for them to put
00:28:07.240 out a statement actually taking accountability and saying yo we did it um you still had it saying
00:28:12.720 things that were just total fabrications total lies about me and so it was very clear that meta was
00:28:18.500 struggling to control what they had built this is terrifying robbie i mean i've i've talked to a
00:28:26.700 few senators about your case um and they're just as incensed about it as i am and uh you know i'm i'm
00:28:33.420 expecting meta to be called up onto capitol hill uh regarding this but i don't know i mean what
00:28:40.080 you know what the ai has so much power now on capitol hill these gigantic companies um and i'm not
00:28:48.360 sure what anybody is really going to do i i hope justice actually works for you and the system works
00:28:55.560 for you because if not this is the beginning of uh ai tyranny this is i mean if this is allowed to go on
00:29:06.220 this is the beginning of it and it will in four years from now forget about forget about your
00:29:13.980 um really your freedom your your reputation everything will be gone uh if you happen to
00:29:22.280 oppose what the ai program says uh is uh the right way to go yeah we need serious change you know in
00:29:32.300 the system and i think i i'm with you on this you know i pray that the system works as it's intended to
00:29:38.700 work um you increasingly you know have to wonder as you watch you know sort of these rogue judges
00:29:44.320 try to take on the powers of the executive branch um just how many holes there are in the justice
00:29:49.840 system and and how much it is working as intended but i really do pray that it will because i do think
00:29:56.260 there's downstream effects of this that people oh my gosh are not seeing very clearly and i've gone
00:30:01.660 down that dystopian rabbit hole and i've looked at what does this mean in 20 years if this is allowed
00:30:05.820 to happen it is it is very dangerous five it will be five years it won't be 20 years robbie how can i
00:30:14.100 help and how can the audience help you well you know i would say we've just got to consistently keep
00:30:20.060 this story out there because i think that's really important that everybody knows what is happening and
00:30:26.080 what is possible because this extends beyond public figures this goes into like if you have a custody
00:30:30.520 dispute and they're deciding reputation scoring on ai it can invent all kinds of things about you
00:30:35.700 could lose your kids over this if you are going and trying to get insurance you could be denied
00:30:40.080 insurance over being perceived as a reputational risk because if you have the wrong politics right
00:30:45.880 i mean this is very dangerous stuff so talk to your lawmakers write to them ask them what they're doing to
00:30:50.700 establish ethical boundaries for ai because there has to be some boundaries there is don't get me wrong
00:30:56.300 a lot of incredible things ai can be used to do but if you have no boundaries it's going to be very
00:31:02.760 very very dangerous and so that would be the first thing you know at this point i'm handling the legal
00:31:07.940 costs and everything but this could eventually get so expensive legally you know depending on the
00:31:11.960 strategy they take that you know maybe at that point we do another round of going through everywhere
00:31:15.780 and saying hey can people jump in and help um but you know i think we can we can take this all
00:31:21.240 the way and i really do believe that it's important that we get serious sincere changes in the marketplace
00:31:27.260 count on me as a serious ally i don't think i've ever made this offer to anybody but i want you to
00:31:34.100 give me regular updates and come on the uh come on the program whenever you have an update you just call
00:31:40.260 i'll put you on the air and you give us an update um because we will follow this story um and uh and
00:31:47.720 it's important i mean this is this is the beginning of the end anything you might be afraid of with ai
00:31:54.580 if this isn't corrected it will happen and it will happen quickly so it's got to be corrected robbie
00:32:03.220 thank you so much thank you glenn i appreciate it you bet bye-bye
00:32:08.080 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program
00:32:17.920 okay um let's see let me let me talk a little bit about something that has just been driving me
00:32:26.760 out of my mind this weekend and that is or this week it's pete hegseth pentagon prayer service oh my
00:32:33.540 gosh he had a christian prayer service at the pentagon new york times says hegseth intends to make
00:32:41.600 the prayer service a monthly event you know if if hegseth were sacrificing animals to the pagan god
00:32:54.340 of weather and earth the new york times probably would not have a problem with it okay this meltdown
00:33:01.540 is so exhausting because it is so predictable uh 1995 uh has called and new york times and the aclu wants
00:33:10.460 their separation of church and state uh outrage back because they they they didn't know where they
00:33:15.400 placed it and they seem they they left it with you wednesday of this week defense secretary pete
00:33:20.640 hegseth hosted a voluntary christian prayer service in the pentagon's auditorium it was broadcast on their
00:33:28.420 internal network now no one was required to attend no one was required to watch his pastor from his home
00:33:35.660 church in tennessee spoke at the service and paid his own way there by the way you didn't pay for this
00:33:40.800 the event was packed standing room only and of course left-wing media was triggered okay you know
00:33:46.460 we can we can do all kinds of stuff but not worship god cnn trotted out their legal experts screaming it's
00:33:52.920 a first amendment violation you know that's government endorsing religion no it is not i read i think it was in
00:33:58.640 the new york times that said uh uh although the the united states early on did use federal buildings for
00:34:07.540 church services uh that was at a time when there was a listen to this a stricter interpretation
00:34:14.020 of the founder's words
00:34:16.380 no they didn't need to interpret the founder's words they were the founders so it wasn't a stricter
00:34:26.600 interpretation it was the founders interpretation because they were doing this all the time i know
00:34:34.320 everybody on the left is shocked by this but the u.s capital served as a church building every sunday for
00:34:41.100 almost 70 years started under thomas jefferson and by the way he's the one who wrote the word separation of church
00:34:49.640 and state in a letter it's not anywhere else in a federal document it's in a letter separation of church
00:34:56.040 and yet he was the guy who was like you know what bring your church service let's just do it in the
00:35:00.600 the house of representatives so the house of representatives the podium that sits there
00:35:05.940 was for 70 years the pulpit for preachers and it wasn't just one denomination you could use it and
00:35:14.580 thousands of people attended including presidents like thomas jefferson who was hardly a bible thumper
00:35:21.620 but it was a hub for worship in washington dc and yet somehow the republic survived and it grew and it
00:35:28.520 did well somehow or another sorry but christian prayers and bible readings in public you know and
00:35:36.660 public officials doing those things woven into our fabric george washington issued proclamation for days
00:35:42.400 of prayers all the time abraham lincoln leaned on scripture during the civil war we turned the civil
00:35:48.700 war around after his proclamation of humiliation fasting and prayer to the almighty god i mean the
00:35:55.940 patron saint of american socialism fdr he read from the bible on radio broadcast during world war ii
00:36:03.840 you know when when we were in the midst of uh d-day he got on and led the nation in prayer
00:36:12.060 you know so you know hegsath 30 minute prayer in the auditorium or 30 minutes uh you know uh church
00:36:20.340 service not really radical not breaking new ground you know here's the thing public officials have hosted
00:36:27.560 events for other faiths in 2007 house of representatives had a hindu priest open the session with prayer
00:36:32.440 multiple muslim imams have given opening prayers read from the koran in the house chamber
00:36:37.000 the pentagon's chapel hosts service for multiple faiths including islam judaism the media they lose their
00:36:44.160 mind on those too right oh no no no in fact that's a cause for celebration for the media after one imam
00:36:52.100 gave the house prayer in 2017 the washington post published the full text of his prayer but they don't
00:37:00.280 want to tell you what happened at the pentagon other than it happened he's got christians in the pentagon
00:37:06.340 panic everybody you know let me be really really frank with you new york times and those who are freaked
00:37:16.880 out by this and history and can repeat it accurately you let me know okay but let me ask you this
00:37:31.420 question why do rainbow flags fly at federal buildings every june for pride month all month long
00:37:38.500 why are why is it forced
00:37:41.440 left is fine with those military bases around the world have hosted drag shows drag shows you don't
00:37:56.900 have a problem with that but you have a problem with a church service the left especially when joe biden
00:38:02.340 was in office treated pride month like it was a sacred holiday the left dotes on the lgbtq movement
00:38:08.680 with religious fervor because it has become a religion and it is now clearly a government endorsed religion
00:38:19.860 a voluntary christian prayer service is cause for front page outrage yet this isn't there nothing
00:38:29.880 hmm wait a minute hmm ever since i can remember the left has weaponized this myth of separation of
00:38:37.380 church and state by the guy who was attending the prayers in the house of representatives
00:38:43.560 reminder the phrase is not in the constitution the first amendment says this now listen to this
00:38:50.320 new york times i know you have a hard time with words but but you talk pretty so listen to these
00:38:56.080 words and see if you can understand that they're very complex the first amendment says congress shall
00:39:02.860 not establish a religion or prohibit its free exercise wait a minute so they can't establish a religion
00:39:15.520 or prohibit the free exercise of religion that's it nothing about endorsing a religion and that's not
00:39:21.880 what pete hagg says was doing you know the left twists this to erase christianity from the public
00:39:28.060 square while they mandate the celebration of state-backed secular ideologies whether it's pride or climate
00:39:36.720 change or the sacred earth worship that's going on and i could make the case that that either one of
00:39:45.060 those is the government establishing a religion dei esg all of that is treated like a religion climate
00:39:56.520 change it's a religion transgender surgery it's a religion doesn't matter what science says believe this
00:40:03.660 and if you don't believe this you're a heretic and you have to be excommunicated from all of society
00:40:11.980 it is a religion with its own high priests and that's government establishing a religion so if you
00:40:20.440 really want to go to battle on this let's go to battle on this shall we because uh maybe in your wildest
00:40:30.200 dreams pete hagseth which he didn't do would get up and go christianity is neat and everybody here
00:40:37.360 should be a christian i endorse it that is constitutionally okay but what you've done with
00:40:49.300 all of these woke ideas is you have now established a religion not endorsed established let me read it to
00:41:02.120 you one more time congress cannot establish a religion or prohibit its free exercise thereof
00:41:12.060 so we could be honest with each other as we know which one is trying to destroy one religion
00:41:21.540 and we know which ones are establishing new religions you're on the losing side on this one new york times
00:41:30.340 but you know what at least you're consistent
00:41:33.680 claudia was leaving for her pickleball tournament i've been visualizing my match all week she was so
00:41:42.900 focused on visualizing that she didn't see the column behind her car on her backhand side
00:41:47.300 good thing claudia's with intact the insurer with the largest network of auto service centers in the
00:41:53.360 country everything was taken care of under one roof and she was on her way in a rental car in no time
00:41:58.340 i made it to my tournament and lost in the first round but you got there on time intact insurance
00:42:04.600 your auto service ace certain conditions apply
00:42:07.340 you
