00:00:00.000 Hey, on today's podcast, I'm going to try to give you everything you need to know about France.
00:00:06.120 Is France our future?
00:00:08.220 Also, we talked to somebody over in France.
00:00:11.860 She knows it quite well.
00:00:13.400 She lives there.
00:00:14.200 She is actually a senior envoy for Europe for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.
00:00:19.440 She lays it all out on what's really happening.
00:00:22.920 And then data Republican, the left's doomsday scenario, what is actually coming here in America?
00:00:32.440 It all ties together on today's podcast.
00:00:44.700 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:00:52.920 hello america welcome to monday um i want to continue our conversation here about what's
00:01:00.180 happening in france but it is not really about france uh this is about you and me and the coming
00:01:06.720 election because we are going down exactly the same route so i want you to look at who's cheering
00:01:13.700 and who's winning from this okay what who wins from what's happening in france and who's cheering
00:01:21.940 Iran, remember, the regime that crushed its own protest in January,
00:01:29.160 summoned the ambassador to Iran from France to lecture Paris on human rights.
00:01:39.580 You can't treat protesters.
00:01:41.540 You just killed 40,000 in the street.
00:01:45.800 And you're lecturing France on human rights?
00:01:48.660 Yes.
00:01:49.380 So France fires back, accusing Tehran of a disinformation campaign aimed at the student movement.
00:01:56.260 Do you think, France?
00:01:58.840 I mean, here's the problem.
00:02:00.480 Everybody is making mistakes in this.
00:02:02.700 There is no one that is actually has clean hands on this.
00:02:07.140 No one.
00:02:09.320 Palestinian flags are in the crowd.
00:02:11.720 Climate activists are marching with the unions now.
00:02:14.880 The union said, today, they're going to double their efforts in this.
00:02:20.500 Okay, so who's really pushing for a calmer, stronger, richer France?
00:02:32.840 Is it the unions that are demanding that they don't sign this budget tomorrow?
00:02:41.740 Is that who's doing it?
00:02:44.880 is it the activists who are burning the streets down?
00:02:50.860 Is it the climate activists who say gasoline and diesel is too expensive
00:02:56.320 and electricity is too expensive?
00:02:58.680 You are the guys who shut down the refineries.
00:03:01.280 You are the guys that shut down the power plants.
00:03:05.480 You know, let me ask you this.
00:03:06.320 When a shop goes up in flames, who gets stronger?
00:03:09.860 Who gets stronger?
00:03:10.580 if this is about the classrooms why are you burning down city hall i i don't i don't understand that
00:03:18.520 now look at the calendar you look at the calendar france elects a new president next spring
00:03:25.260 marine le pen the national rally held uh holds the lead in almost every poll and her opponents
00:03:32.740 have called her fascist we just were talking about this running in second place is jean-luc
00:03:39.700 Melichon. He's a hard-left guy who has praised Hugo Chavez and called for Europe's Central Bank
00:03:49.080 to just cancel the debt it holds. It can't happen that way. You don't just cancel debt. No country
00:03:57.140 can do that. If you cancel debt that you owe, who lends to you next year? And by the way,
00:04:04.300 who ends up paying for that okay so i want you to think about this and again
00:04:10.460 understand i'm not just telling you about france i'm telling you about america and the coming
00:04:17.020 election here think like a chess player just try to think a few moves ahead the streets burn
00:04:24.640 order has to be resolved right has to be restored it has to everything has to come so what takes
00:04:31.280 place. Well, you're going to have to have more police, maybe soldiers, maybe curfews. Now,
00:04:37.920 the moment the state puts the helmets on, what's the headline? Come on, what's the headline?
00:04:44.880 Fascism. Iran is already writing that script this weekend, calling, I saw very little lack of, 0.91
00:04:54.500 I mean, very little response, a total lack of response from the police, but they were already
00:05:00.240 saying this is fascists. This is the oldest trap there is. You light the fire, then you photograph
00:05:06.120 the fireman kicking in the door, and you call him the violent one. And if he doesn't put it out,
00:05:11.680 then the building burns. If he does, he's a monster. Either way, whoever lit the match wins. 0.99
00:05:20.540 Now watch what the fire does to the vote. Every burning car is an ad for who? The leftist?
00:05:30.240 or Marine Le Pen. Right? Every line of riot police is an ad for who? Marine Le Pen or the Marxist?
00:05:42.980 The extremes feed each other and the middle starves. So the question isn't whether France
00:05:49.880 restores order. It has to. The question is whether it happens under law in daylight with limits so
00:05:59.720 the word never sticks, even though all of the enemies of France, all of them, are going to try
00:06:07.160 to turn that into fascism. And what's the street demanding? Union wants higher wages, higher
00:06:16.220 pensions, lower prices, more public services, more, more, more, more. Been here before.
00:06:23.740 You know, after the war, France didn't always suck.
00:06:29.620 After the war, the French call those years the Glorious 30 because they built highways.
00:06:36.360 They built nuclear power plants.
00:06:38.240 They built the Concorde.
00:06:40.360 When the oil shock hit in 1973, they didn't riot.
00:06:46.560 They launched a crash plan to go nuclear.
00:06:50.820 And within a generation, most of its electricity came from the atom.
00:06:54.560 It was the safest nuclear system in the world.
00:06:57.940 Well, what happens?
00:06:59.040 Cheap, steady power.
00:07:01.020 Yes, it had socialized medicine, but it was a nation that paid its way.
00:07:05.820 1974 matters for another reason.
00:07:08.900 It's the last year France balanced its budget, 1983, 1984.
00:07:12.600 In 1981, they elected a socialist president who brought communists into his cabinet.
00:07:18.400 they nationalized the banks and big industry and they cut the retirement age to 60 they shortened
00:07:24.540 the work week they added a fifth week of paid vacation within two years the money ran short
00:07:30.840 same government slammed on the brakes okay this is what happened in sweden sweden was going down
00:07:36.360 the same road and sweden in the 1970s at the end turned around and went the other way that is a
00:07:42.700 capitalist country now that's not a socialist they still have you know uh health care and
00:07:48.160 everything else but their government invested their sovereign fund into their own companies
00:07:54.260 they are very capitalistic but in france the habit stuck later a government of left communists
00:08:05.160 included cut the work week to 35 hours now think this through france's debt is headed past
00:08:11.920 119% of everything the country produces in a year, they spend 119% of that. The borrowing costs are
00:08:19.980 the highest in 20 years, not balanced to budget in nearly half a century, and the crowd still is
00:08:26.820 screaming for more. Then there are the climate activists marching against the cost of living,
00:08:33.020 which means the cost of fuel, which is what they caused. Light the fire, then be celebrated as the
00:08:40.600 firemen who come back in to put the fire out, but you're only making the fire worse.
00:08:46.440 Think of the country's refineries and the power plants. Those were the shock absorbers. You're
00:08:51.780 driving a giant truck. You're on a smooth road. You never notice your shock absorbers
00:08:55.640 until you hit a pothole. You know, a war with Iran, the strait closed, Russian refineries on
00:09:02.000 fire. That's the pothole. And for years, the climate movement pushed to pull all of those
00:09:07.220 shock absorbers out. And so they shrunk the nuclear power, shut the oldest plant in 2020.
00:09:14.420 They got nothing. Two of its biggest refineries were turned into green fuel plants. Even Macron
00:09:19.860 has reversed course on the ordered new reactors. But reactors take more than a decade to build.
00:09:29.340 So now the truck is hitting the pothole and people who pulled the shocks are in the street
00:09:34.500 complaining about it's a bumpy ride.
00:09:36.400 Well, of course it is.
00:09:37.260 You pulled the shock absorbers.
00:09:41.760 Let me bring it here.
00:09:43.440 We're not short on oil.
00:09:45.200 You hear me?
00:09:45.640 We're not short on oil.
00:09:46.860 We're short on refining.
00:09:49.220 We haven't built a new refinery since the 1970s.
00:09:54.540 In the last year, California shut two of its refineries down,
00:09:59.280 cutting the state's capacity by 17%.
00:10:01.800 Gee, California, you wonder why your gas is so high.
00:10:05.520 You cut 17% of your own production last year.
00:10:13.780 You have the toughest regulations on the continent.
00:10:17.900 So when the people who wrote those rules promise to bring your fuel prices down, ask them, with what?
00:10:25.960 How?
00:10:27.320 What policy have you changed?
00:10:29.700 See, we are going in right now.
00:10:31.240 We are having a problem in Europe, and I don't care what the media says. 1.00
00:10:35.400 This is a red-green alliance. 0.80
00:10:37.280 This is Marxist and Islamist. 0.57
00:10:40.260 That's what this is, and that's what's happening in our own country.
00:10:43.980 You're seeing it.
00:10:50.260 Try not to get mad at the people I know that continue to tell me the same thing,
00:10:56.120 that this is not real, that you're a bigot.
00:11:00.520 You're not a bigot.
00:11:01.900 You're awake.
00:11:03.500 You're awake.
00:11:06.620 Well, it can't be Marxist.
00:11:08.640 What do you mean it can't be Marxist?
00:11:10.320 Have you noticed the DSA?
00:11:11.720 Do you even know what it is?
00:11:15.520 This is bigger than a bad weekend in Paris.
00:11:18.640 Gang, this, I fear, is the beginning of
00:11:21.860 what I have been talking about since 2008.
00:11:34.060 I pray to God I'm wrong.
00:11:40.160 France is Europe's second largest economy,
00:11:42.520 chained to the others by a shared currency.
00:11:44.600 If France decides markets are the enemy and debt doesn't matter, it doesn't fall alone.
00:11:51.720 The rest of Europe will have to decide whether to catch it or cut the rope.
00:11:55.840 And if they cut the rope, then it's chaos in France, and that spreads.
00:12:00.180 If they don't cut the rope, then it's chaos in all of Europe.
00:12:03.580 I mean, it's chaos either way.
00:12:07.420 It's already reaching England.
00:12:10.320 It's being planted in Canada.
00:12:13.280 It's in your town.
00:12:14.720 Watch for the pattern.
00:12:18.520 You elect Marxists, socialists.
00:12:21.800 You open up your borders.
00:12:23.760 You start to ignore clear warning signs.
00:12:31.440 You start to look at our enemies and say,
00:12:34.120 we have to be friends with our enemies.
00:12:37.200 We have to say, no, no, Islamists are not a problem. 0.82
00:12:41.740 No, you're reading too much in when the world is on fire. 0.96
00:12:47.080 And then a debt the country can't pay and leaders promising more anyway.
00:12:54.080 Energy the country could make but chooses not to.
00:12:58.020 Closing of refineries, adding solar panels to everything, a middle that is emptying out,
00:13:04.640 leaving voters between the choice between two of the angriest voices in the room.
00:13:11.740 and foreign regimes cheering the chaos. 0.74
00:13:17.420 Russia is happy today.
00:13:19.240 China is happy today. 0.72
00:13:21.940 Because the street has learned that fire gets attention. 0.96
00:13:26.980 And when you see them all at once,
00:13:29.080 when you see all of these things happening at once,
00:13:31.240 right around election time,
00:13:33.100 you're not watching a protest.
00:13:36.440 You're watching a show.
00:13:38.400 you're watching a country decide whether it still believes in building anything
00:13:44.640 this is the question we all have to ask do you believe in america anymore
00:13:50.740 people who stop building start blaming and countries are no different and we don't answer
00:13:59.160 this by shouting back we answer it by asking every time somebody promises something with what
00:14:06.260 How are you going to pay for it?
00:14:07.960 Who builds it?
00:14:09.500 Who fails if it fails?
00:14:11.520 Who wins if it fails?
00:14:15.740 We start looking at the real hard things to look at,
00:14:19.780 the stuff that we've ignored forever.
00:14:24.220 The connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:14:28.340 The connections to Marxists and communists.
00:14:33.140 And then you go out and you vote like an adult.
00:14:36.460 Time is up.
00:14:38.860 I have said for 20 years, the time is coming where time will be up.
00:14:43.860 I have said for 25 years, we're going to reach a time.
00:14:49.060 Time is up.
00:14:50.600 It is now time to grow up right now.
00:14:54.640 Face it.
00:14:55.600 Look at it.
00:14:57.260 Be a part of the solution or I guarantee you will be part of America's suicide.
00:15:02.740 More in a minute.
00:15:06.100 this is the best of the glenbeck program
00:15:10.240 you know there's a certain kind of confidence that only parents have you walk into a bedroom
00:15:18.520 you take one look at your kid and go yeah he's getting sick you don't need a thermometer you
00:15:22.560 don't need a doctor you just know right unfortunately knowing they're about to get
00:15:26.920 sick is the easy part the hard part is discovering that half the town has the same bug the pharmacy
00:15:32.960 is out of the medication they need and now you're driving all over town hoping somebody has it in
00:15:37.780 stock that's why i advise you prepare before the first cough starts the kids case from jace medical

00:16:19.780 simon rodan benziken simon am i even close you're actually pretty pretty close actually
00:16:33.520 the first time didn't really work this time it was perfect no thank you okay simon uh thank you
00:16:40.060 for joining me again i i appreciate it um i want to talk to you uh about what is happening
00:16:46.380 you're where are you in france i'm in paris you're in paris some people are saying it's
00:16:52.520 not this big of a deal it's not as bad as it looks is it or isn't it uh it is pretty bad
00:17:00.720 and it is very much i would say as bad as it looks it's probably worse um than it looks
00:17:06.640 i would even argue uh listen last time we spoke um you know we heard we had the initial violence
00:17:13.940 that were happening already in the school protests.
00:17:18.200 What we are currently seeing has nothing to do with the school protests anymore.
00:17:24.120 Actually, I'm thinking about these poor students,
00:17:26.560 some of whom had very concrete concerns.
00:17:29.800 They have been robbed of their cause within a couple of weeks.
00:17:34.680 What we are seeing currently is really an attempt by different forces,
00:17:42.020 political actors, forces from within the radical far left
00:17:47.820 and the Antifa movement, Islamist forces, external actors
00:17:52.740 who are trying to bring down the country and the state. 0.50
00:17:57.760 Let's not forget that France is already in a pretty bad economical state.
00:18:02.220 They hope that this will be the last thing that will possibly
00:18:07.160 bring us over the edge.
00:18:10.500 And this is really, I think, what we're talking about.
00:18:13.520 So I said earlier today that this is not a coincidence that this is all now really ratcheting up when tomorrow you're supposed to vote on a new budget.
00:18:25.480 And if that budget falls through, France is in real trouble with the European Central Bank and the rest of Europe, correct?
00:18:33.360 Correct.
00:18:34.360 Correct. Listen, France, just for you to understand, we have a 5.4% deficit. We have 120%
00:18:43.080 debt. We are currently the third most indebted country in Europe. All of the reforms that this
00:18:53.900 current government has tried to put into place, including, you know, the retirement age, pushing
00:18:58.720 the retirement age by a couple of years have failed. And so, yes, we are in very, very deep
00:19:05.880 trouble. People are talking about a potential Greek situation, talking back to when Greece
00:19:11.880 was put under the IMF. We are in very, very big trouble. So when I was there over the summer,
00:19:21.820 I was so funny because I'm not funny, but sad. I was with my family and we went over to Paris.
00:19:28.300 We spent a couple of weeks, and we just absolutely loved it.
00:19:33.180 But it was so peaceful, and everyone I asked,
00:19:37.420 hey, you know, are you seeing problems on the street?
00:19:39.880 No, no, no, no.
00:19:42.420 And everyone said, that's just the media hype, et cetera, et cetera.
00:19:47.220 When you are in a country that is having the kinds of debt problems that you're having,
00:19:53.460 This is all about the price of fuel, the price of, you know, clothing, housing, everything.
00:19:59.900 And the government has got to cut its budget.
00:20:03.720 But when the people don't recognize it, they just seem to think that this can go on forever.
00:20:09.620 How do you solve this?
00:20:11.720 You're absolutely spot on, I think.
00:20:13.680 You know, I think generally the French people, but I would say most people in general, are in a state of denial.
00:20:20.780 It's sort of a mix of a state of denial and, you know, some sort of an idea of, you know, apocalypse and the end of everything.
00:20:28.980 But generally, it's a state of denial.
00:20:30.920 Listen, when you are in Paris, when you are in a nice neighborhood, everything is beautiful.
00:20:35.280 It's all good. But the reality is very different.
00:20:38.320 And the reality is that there are people within this country who have a very hard time, you know, paying their rent,
00:20:45.080 who have a very hard time, you know, paying their fuel.
00:20:49.300 And let's not forget, we have war in our continent.
00:20:52.700 You know, Ukraine is not so far away. 0.90
00:20:55.000 We are paying for Ukraine every single year.
00:20:58.740 Gas prices have gone up.
00:21:01.220 And so, yeah, but people are in a state of denial, have not realized that things, that
00:21:07.440 the decades that we have gone through, where, you know, we had prosperity, where our children
00:21:13.260 would usually do better than their parents all of this is we're coming to an end uh and i don't
00:21:20.720 know what it will take maybe this will be a wake-up call even though i have my doubts uh but i don't
00:21:26.480 know what it really needs what it will take for people to wake up and smell the roses frankly
00:21:31.540 so explain to the american public the choices that you're going to face um at the polls because
00:21:41.120 Because, you know, the way the press, you know, if it's consistent, the way the press will show these two is one is on the left, but, you know, more reasonable with the unions and everything.
00:21:55.600 But he's actually very closely, if not a communist, that says we're not paying our debt back, which is insanity.
00:22:03.740 And then you'll have on the right what everybody will say is fascism, and that's Marine Le Pen.
00:22:10.460 What is the truth of the two?
00:22:14.200 And how is this going to play out?
00:22:16.360 Because I would think law and order with Le Pen would be the winning hand, at least today.
00:22:23.540 So listen, first of all, we used to have a two-party system, like a little bit like in the U.S.
00:22:28.260 That's gone.
00:22:29.480 We have an extreme polarization.
00:22:31.520 All of the two parties that have run France for, frankly, decades, you know, the Socialist Party and the Republican Party,
00:22:38.620 which are more or less the equivalent of the Democratic Party, maybe the left of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, they're gone.
00:22:46.860 The only thing that I mean, what we do mostly now have is different parties and then two blocks on the on the right and on the left.
00:22:56.900 Marine Le Pen, as you just mentioned, and on the left, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the far left, the unbowed party, which is the equivalent of the DSA, I would say.
00:23:05.860 The problem that we have is that Jean-Luc Mélenchon has exactly the same objective as Marine Le Pen.
00:23:17.820 Jean-Luc Mélenchon wants Marine Le Pen to be in the second round of the presidential elections.
00:23:25.020 Now, that sort of sounds counterintuitive, but why does he want this?
00:23:29.520 It's because he believes it's a win-win game for him.
00:23:33.180 If he will make it to the second round of the presidential elections, and Marine Le Pen will as well,
00:23:41.260 he will be able to construct this idea that indeed he is the anti-fascist candidate.
00:23:47.200 And, you know, who knows? Maybe in that case he could win.
00:23:51.040 If he doesn't, he still has won because it would mean that he will be the only opposition figure to Marine Le Pen.
00:24:01.000 And he will actually have really killed all of the other parties, Macron's parties, the socialist parties, the Republican Party, who are sort of our governing parties, reasonable parties.
00:24:11.720 He will have killed them because he will be the only opposition figure to Marine Le Pen.
00:24:18.460 So the problem that we're currently seeing is that this is also why he has pushed these demonstrations so much. 0.76
00:24:26.000 He wants violence. He wants confrontation. He wants the revolution.
00:24:31.000 because he wants to find himself in the position to be confronting Marine Le Pen
00:24:35.880 in the best-case scenario who will win.
00:24:38.140 In the worst-case scenario, well, he will be the only opposition.
00:24:41.500 So that doesn't sound good.
00:24:44.720 I mean, it sounds like more of the same coming for France. 0.96
00:24:49.340 More of the what?
00:24:50.540 Is the media explaining this the way you are?
00:24:55.740 It depends what media you're watching, but some of them are.
00:24:59.860 I think there is, though, I think a lack of understanding of really what the philosophy is of Mélenchon.
00:25:07.340 He has not hid things at all.
00:25:09.400 He has always said that he wants conflict, that his strategy is that he wants people with different grievances to see themselves as fighting the same enemy.
00:25:21.640 And the same enemy is the state and is the system.
00:25:26.660 So, yeah, there are a few media who are saying this, but probably not enough.
00:25:32.820 And I think many journalists are not digging deep enough into the kind of writings and talk that he has done in the past.
00:25:41.460 I'm going to take a one-minute break, and then I want to come back, Simone, and ask you a couple of questions.
00:25:45.460 One is about the Islamic influence, because I hear that from being dismissed to, no, that is a problem, and the same thing with anti-Semitism.
00:25:59.740 Now, it didn't happen. Yes, it is happening, and I'd like to get your view from on the street on how much of a role that is playing.
00:26:07.800 Simone Rodon Benziken is with us, and she is with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.
00:26:14.960 She's the senior envoy for Europe.
00:26:18.080 Let's talk about three things.
00:26:19.580 I want to talk about Europe and how this spreads.
00:26:21.540 But first, I want to start with, I saw things saying that Jewish shops were targeted.
00:26:27.420 Is that true or not?
00:26:30.760 It most probably is not.
00:26:33.640 but definitely jewish-owned shops that were targeted as well but it's there is no clear
00:26:42.180 indication at this stage that they were targeted because they were jewish okay now does that mean
00:26:49.660 that there is no anti-semitism of course there's loads i mean you can see tags all over the place 0.68
00:26:56.040 with you know kill the zionists or gas the zionists or you know all sorts of signs of 0.74
00:27:02.780 Of course, there's anti-Semitism. 0.96
00:27:04.540 And I think more importantly, you know, for years, actually for decades, I have been saying
00:27:09.480 that anti-Semitism is always the first warning sign of society falling apart.
00:27:16.680 You know what?
00:27:17.860 In society falling apart.
00:27:19.440 We're in the second.
00:27:20.520 We're not in the first stage anymore.
00:27:22.480 We are in the second stage. 0.96
00:27:24.620 Tell me about the Islamist movement over there.
00:27:27.540 How much of an influence is that on this?
00:27:29.660 Listen, without a doubt, there is definitely Islamist movements that are involved. We know that the students, Muslim Brotherhood organizations have called for participating in these demonstrations.
00:27:44.840 We know that radical so-called pro-Palestinian groups or rather anti-Israel or pro-Hamas groups have also participated in these demonstrations.
00:27:55.160 We also know that foreign actors seem to have at least increased some of the social media.
00:28:04.300 We see things from Iran, the Islamic Republic of Iran.
00:28:08.160 There are all sorts of Iranian agents who have pushed content for those demonstrations.
00:28:15.720 The same goes for Algeria.
00:28:17.880 Let's not forget that on September 17th, when this big demonstration on Saturday happened, when everything went out of control, was also a date where a decade ago, an Algerian was killed.
00:28:32.700 Algerians were killed here in France. And so they used this in sort of an intersectional, you know, approach to, you know, to link all of the different causes together.
00:28:47.320 So and then, of course, there are actors like, you know, Qatar and others like through their social media sites, Al Jazeera, through AJ Plus, who have pushed a lot of the content.
00:28:58.540 Now, we'll have to dig deeper and to see to what extent, you know, all of this is really organized.
00:29:04.660 But it's pretty clear that this is not like just, you know, some sort of sporadic thing.
00:29:10.520 And this is actually organized between far left and Islamist organizations.
00:29:16.520 So, you know, a lot of people know about the Arab Spring.
00:29:19.240 Most people don't know there was the European Spring in the 1800s
00:29:22.920 where this was set on fire again, and it was a Marxist kind of thing again.
00:29:32.440 Are we looking at a European Spring?
00:29:35.020 Is this going to spread across?
00:29:38.080 I mean, you're starting to see it in several of the countries, smaller versions.
00:29:42.340 but you know you're all kind of in the same boat on multiple fronts you know first of all we are
00:29:50.620 sort of all in the same boat and then you have a problem of um social media and the globalization
00:29:55.400 of social media and the fact that you know um europe is uh the underbelly uh of of the soft
00:30:03.720 underbelly of of attacking the west uh it's it's weakest links so without a doubt uh you know anyone
00:30:11.100 And any actor, whether it's Russia, China, North Korea, the Islamic Republic of Iran, will try and find a way to weaken the European Union, Europe at large.
00:30:25.580 So there is definitely a big risk.
00:30:29.880 And again, we are in a globalized world where, you know, you put something on TikTok and within, you know, an hour, it can spread like crazy, especially amongst young people.
00:30:40.760 Is this waking the French up at all when you see, you know, that beautiful, beautiful, I don't know what it was,
00:30:47.660 State House or City Hall or whatever in Limon and the artwork that was destroyed?
00:30:54.300 And then I saw them marching in front of the Louvre yesterday.
00:30:57.900 Thank God nothing's happened to the Louvre.
00:30:59.700 But is it going to be enough to wake the French people?
00:31:06.660 listen i think generally i would say french people are very much awake i think the question is
00:31:14.120 are we able to awaken the silent majority uh the silent majority is sick and tired of you know
00:31:23.360 people who are ransacking this country um people are sick and tired of you know you look at all of
00:31:30.500 these shops that have been looted people who have you know put their entire life's work into you
00:31:37.200 know building a business and that within an hour everything is destroyed um so yeah people are sick
00:31:44.060 and tired um the question is you know will will there be a a constructive channel uh that will
00:31:52.320 and turn it into something productive uh less than 30 seconds tomorrow do they pass the budget
00:31:59.920 or not not sure even less than 30 not sure not sure okay all right thank you so much we'll talk
00:32:09.440 again stay safe thank you so much you bet bye-bye uh all right i want to turn our conversation to
00:32:17.400 something else that was happening before france and that was how donald trump is a traitor to
00:32:21.760 the united states because he just started to uh you know ask for oil uh to be or not sorry not oil
00:32:30.460 but uh refined diesel to be sold to the west yeah trader really that's what makes you a trader today
00:32:38.080 hmm i'm gonna lay the case out and then you can decide we'll do that in just a minute stand by
00:32:45.520 this is the best of the glenbeck program and don't forget rate us on itunes
00:32:54.640 truth is under attack in our culture people are embracing lies about gender they're rejecting the
00:33:06.180 sanctity of every human life and the government is even punishing people for saying what's true
00:33:11.200 and right or worse the woke mob is doxing them and slandering them with no due process just an
00:33:16.500 angry mob making their lives miserable or worse putting families in real danger but the biblical
00:33:22.500 principles on which our country was founded still matter real patriots and christians are beginning
00:33:27.520 to stand up they're showing real courage without a safety net of a big bank account they're bolstered
00:33:32.960 only by the truths that are self-evident but these people must be defended alliance defending freedom
00:33:39.260 is on the front lines of this fight,
00:33:40.900 and they're standing in courtrooms across the country
00:33:42.800 upholding truth, and you're right to speak it.

00:34:04.420 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program,
00:34:06.380 and don't forget, rate us on iTunes,
00:34:09.260 i have to tell you with what's coming
00:34:16.700 if you're living in california you can't have a gun boy i would get a burner launcher
00:34:24.300 anyway um let me bring in jason uh jason sir data starts putting this stuff out over the weekend
00:34:34.200 And it is, I mean, it's not surprising, but I think it's shocking.
00:34:41.520 How would you describe what we're about to hear?
00:34:45.260 Well, if you've been a fan, if you've been listening to you for a while, I don't think this will be surprising.
00:34:51.120 But it's interesting to hear this coming out in the open in their own words, nevertheless.
00:34:57.860 And this is something that, I mean, if you've heard of, you know, people talk about color revolutions.
00:35:03.320 If you've heard names like Erica Chenoweth, which we'll get to that in a second.
00:35:11.780 But none of this will sound surprising at all.
00:35:14.560 Explain for anybody who doesn't know what a color revolution is, explain what it is.
00:35:18.660 A color revolution is something that we've been doing specifically in Eastern Europe during a time of the Cold War era.
00:35:25.780 And it was something that we helped to fund to basically use civil society groups, infiltrate, and to cause turmoil out on the streets and force elections and to upend governments. 0.61
00:35:41.980 Kind of sounds familiar.
00:35:42.960 Yeah, and it usually happens after they have fomented a distrust with all of the institutions and put society right on the edge, and then they cause chaos.
00:35:54.440 And then when you have somebody that they can call a dictator or a fascist, they rush out to the streets and say, this is fascism, this is fascism, and they set the whole thing on fire,
00:36:06.160 giving whichever leader it is the only option of doing nothing and letting the whole place burn
00:36:13.220 down or going out in force and stopping those people, which only makes the cries of fascism
00:36:19.880 more looked at and sounding more true, even though it's not. This is what France is now facing.
00:36:30.500 They're entering an election, and this is just the beginning, what you saw over the weekend,
00:36:35.400 this is just the beginning. This is going to be going on for a long time. It has nothing to do
00:36:39.740 with Macron. It has everything to do with Marine Le Pen. And she's going to be called a fascist.
00:36:45.160 I mean, she already has been. But she's going to be called a fascist forever. And she's going to 0.70
00:36:51.440 be strong against crime. And when you do that, then, of course, they're going to say this is
00:36:56.740 fascistic. And they set the streets on fire even more. It is an amazing system. And it only works
00:37:03.700 if the people are not wise to it.
00:37:06.660 So let's wise you up to this.
00:37:08.680 So Data writes, she says,
00:37:10.220 the past few days I got my hands on thousands of new transcripts
00:37:13.020 and hundreds of recordings, thanks to leads.
00:37:15.900 You've heard that the DSA is proposing structural reforms to America,
00:37:19.780 including abolishing the Senate and imposing term limits.
00:37:22.780 What you have not heard is their operational plan to put it all into action.
00:37:28.300 If the Democratic Party sweeps in 2026,
00:37:31.120 Then DSA will become the foot soldiers in constant clashes with the administration to cross a red line or invoke, quote, a doomsday scenario, meaning they're going to go out and they're going to cause so much trouble.
00:37:47.520 president will have to invoke the Insurrection Act, probably in sometime 2027. This is according
00:37:53.920 to the Democrats or DSA. Then a lot of coordinated responses kick off, including delegitimizing the
00:38:00.640 federal government itself and handing the legitimacy to the Democratic governors.
00:38:05.900 Really important. So they're going to say it's the Democratic governors that get it.
00:38:11.760 they need to respond to this then 2028 becomes a vote on whether america keeps its governance as 0.67
00:38:19.220 is or burn it all down to appease the young and brown demographic that's a quote from them 0.79
00:38:25.680 the mysterious group who has been coordinating 50 51 indivisible and coordinating the no kings
00:38:34.140 protest is called the united democracy alliance and their intellectual leader is erica chenoweth
00:38:41.560 who came in with the 3.5 rule of nonviolent regime change. Explain who she is, Jason,
00:38:49.840 and what the 3.5 rule is. So we did a show that mentioned her a while back. And that 3.5% rule
00:38:59.120 is basically what the number of people in a country that they're guesstimating that is what
00:39:08.240 is needed to actually overturn a government. So they're saying, look, we don't need 90% of the
00:39:13.520 country. You don't even need 50% of the country. All you need is 3.5% that are diehard true
00:39:19.320 believers. And if we can get that amount of people out into the streets, then they can completely
00:39:24.800 topple a government. And this came from another one. If Erica Chenoweth is the intellectual,
00:39:32.420 I guess, leader of this movement, then I think people have said that her intellectual leaders
00:39:38.140 I can't remember, or Muse, is this guy that wrote the book on color revolutions.
00:39:44.200 I can't remember his name off the top of my head, but it was his book that was exported
00:39:50.460 and smuggled into all these different countries in Eastern Europe where all these color revolutions
00:39:55.180 started taking place.
00:39:56.620 Arab Spring was a color revolution over and over and over again.
00:40:01.220 The Ukrainian election was a color revolution done by leftists and our State Department.
00:40:07.660 okay data republican says this is genuinely the biggest discovery i have made this is an enormous
00:40:16.720 archive this is only the beginning so today i just want to take you to what she has shown us
00:40:22.260 that uh she said that trump is going to invoke the resurrection act or insurrection act which
00:40:28.620 is they cause so many problems in the street and then they discredit the federal government 0.94
00:40:35.560 and hand legitimacy to Democratic governors.
00:40:39.160 Here is a DSA action group having a conference call
00:40:46.780 where they're laying some of this out.
00:40:49.440 Listen.
00:40:50.340 Yeah, just quickly, I want you all to know that Danielle and I met with
00:40:53.320 Governor Safeguarding Democracy, which is a forum that convenes Democratic governors right now.
00:41:00.340 And they're also going to be connecting us to Mayor's Democracy,
00:41:03.880 which is a national network of mayors so this work around the emergency scenario planning the
00:41:09.840 ndc and uh you know you know we're trying to actually now connect with the people that give
00:41:17.260 political legitimacy to these kind of processes so they literally said you know could you maybe
00:41:23.060 come up with like a panel of a couple of people who could talk to governors who could do a briefing
00:41:28.580 for the governors and walk them through like doomsday scenario and help them think through
00:41:34.480 what um what their options are as a response so like if we get the brief
00:41:39.560 the governor's safeguarding democracy like that's a huge breakthrough for us
00:41:45.400 holy cow uh would you like to comment on that jason yeah just the the jovial attitude of what
00:41:56.540 they're talking about with this doomsday scenario chuckling about that in the middle of all these
00:42:02.520 other plans that they're talking about doing and we haven't even gotten the full picture yet but
00:42:05.900 the jovial attitude of talking about a doomsday scenario that's going to ignite some all so much
00:42:11.460 chaos that the insurrection act will be considered to be used is just insane and and the fact that
00:42:18.540 the that the governors are inviting them and her saying they're inviting us into their world and
00:42:26.780 they're going to be giving us the inside information i mean that is that's really terrifying now this
00:42:33.480 happened april 10th 2026 so this happened last spring now i'll show you some other things that
00:42:39.460 have happened um do you remember when susan rice was predicting an accountability agenda when the
00:42:46.800 when the democrats are back in power i want you to listen to this this is susan rice threatening
00:42:51.740 corporations this is february but but when it comes to the elites you know the the corporate
00:42:57.780 interests uh the law firms the universities the media i agree with you pre it it is not uh
00:43:04.600 it's not going to end well for them for those that uh decided that it was you know that they
00:43:10.920 would act in their perceived very narrow self-interest which i would underscore is
00:43:15.440 very short-term self-interest, and, you know, take a knee to Trump. If these corporations think
00:43:22.920 that the Democrats, when they come back in power, are going to, you know, play by the old rules
00:43:29.840 and, you know, and say, oh, never mind, we'll forgive you for all the people you've fired,
00:43:38.080 all the policies and principles you've violated, all, you know, the laws you've skirted. I think
00:43:44.000 they've got another thing coming and we're not going to play by uh you know the old set of rules
00:43:49.220 when these guys are playing by a very different set of rules we're going to play by the law but
00:43:53.760 that's we're not going to violate the law the way they do but we're not going to be suckers and so
00:43:58.980 i think you know whether you're a law firm whether you're university whether you're a media entity
00:44:03.380 uh whether you're a big corporation whether you're big tech you need to play a long game not this
00:44:09.800 short game that has been so detrimental there will be an accountability agenda you know companies
00:44:14.660 already uh are are starting to hear they better preserve their documents they better be ready
00:44:20.340 for subpoenas if they've done something wrong they'll be held accountable okay so what is
00:44:26.760 done something wrong an accountability agenda i agree if you break the law you should go to jail
00:44:33.300 I'm 100% behind that.
00:44:35.920 I don't care if it's my side, their side, nobody's side.
00:44:38.680 You break the law, you go to jail.
00:44:40.880 I'm 100.
00:44:41.480 That's not what she's saying.
00:44:43.020 That's not what she's saying.
00:44:45.240 If you decided to help the Trump administration,
00:44:50.420 now if the Trump administration is breaking the law, then again.
00:44:55.960 But if you lawfully went along because you believed in something,
00:45:00.460 you're now going to be held accountable?
00:45:03.300 Now, if you think, Glenn, you're reading too much into that, then let me play this recent visit to the University of Chicago during an interview with Vox editorial director, Senator Alyssa Slotkin says this.
00:45:20.700 Listen, cut 16.
00:45:22.240 So that's what I'm saying. I want to look at these signature cases and not just focus on the president, but on the people who enabled him.
00:45:29.380 I want young people coming out of school to say, should I go work for the Trump administration?
00:45:34.580 Like, that sounds fun.
00:45:35.340 I might get an opportunity.
00:45:36.780 I want them to be like, Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don't want.
00:45:42.920 And so let me avoid participating in that.
00:45:46.020 I want that deterrence message.
00:45:49.300 Okay, what does that mean?
00:45:50.340 Do you remember we were talking last week and I told you about what we just found, it was just been released by the DOJ, that the banking community was folding and spying on people, helping the government spy on people, maybe in many cases unbeknownst to them, 650,000 plus Americans.
00:46:18.760 if they bought a red MAGA hat, they found themselves on a list, okay?
00:46:26.920 Now, why did the banks do this?
00:46:29.260 The banks did this because of what's called reputational risk.
00:46:33.520 What is reputational risk?
00:46:35.300 This is something that the left came up with, the climate people came up with,
00:46:39.620 that if you do business with, let's say, an oil and gas company,
00:46:44.980 Then the bank is put on a government list that says, well, you have a reputational risk and you will pay for that through regulation, through whatever kind of hassles they want to create for you.
00:46:58.880 They will create them because you now as a bank have reputational risk and they will spread that around the other banks, basically saying to other banks, if you want to do business, I wouldn't do business with Glenn's bank because Glenn's bank is engaging with the oil and gas companies.
00:47:14.800 but that went much further as we told you it would into did you buy a red MAGA hat if you
00:47:23.140 haven't heard this story go back and listen last week you can go search for it it is legitimate
00:47:28.840 all of the documents are there it is proven now that's the kind of stuff that was happening
00:47:34.920 in our banking community for reputational risk so what is she saying there
00:47:39.880 this is the best of the glenbeck program
