00:00:00.000 Election Day doesn't clear your calendar for you.
00:00:02.460 It'd be nice if it did.
00:00:03.660 Unfortunately, you still have to go to work.
00:00:05.160 The kids still have to get to someplace, and somebody else might get sick, or the car won't start.
00:00:09.500 And that super important meeting runs long.
00:00:12.040 None of those things care that this was the day you planned on voting.
00:00:15.700 So don't build a plan that only works if everything goes right.
00:00:19.480 Early voting is available everywhere.
00:00:21.800 If it's available where you live, find out when it starts.
00:00:24.600 Know where you need to go.
00:00:25.840 Look at your calendar.
00:00:26.660 Pick a day when you can actually get it done.
00:00:29.040 because voting is important enough to treat it like something you intend to do,
00:00:33.260 not something you hope you'll have time to do.
00:00:36.220 Go to GOPVotes.org right now.
00:00:39.000 Find out when you can vote.
00:00:40.780 Make your voice heard.
00:00:41.960 It's easier than ever.
00:00:43.400 Get the election reminders.
00:00:45.020 Look up your polling location and pick a date to go vote early.
00:00:48.120 Go to GOPVotes.org today.
00:00:51.740 That's GOPVotes.org.
00:00:54.840 Do it.
00:00:59.040 We'll be right back.
00:01:29.040 The fusion of entertainment, enlightenment, and empowerment.
00:01:43.020 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:01:48.580 Hello, America. Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:01:51.300 Got a lot to cover today.
00:01:52.400 I'm going to start with the election.
00:01:55.300 Voting started, early voting started here in Texas.
00:01:58.120 It might be happening wherever you are.
00:02:00.140 I hope you're getting out and voting.
00:02:02.100 And I know a lot of, you know, a lot of Republicans are like,
00:02:04.760 boy, I am so with you, especially on the, I do that. 1.00
00:02:15.600 I mean, I think that all the time about these damn Republicans. 0.98
00:02:18.640 However, let's look where we were and let's look what has happened in the last two years. 0.99
00:02:22.760 We're going to start there in 60 seconds.
00:02:24.160 First, let me tell you about Patriot Mobile. 0.51
00:02:26.160 Americans have really become good at holding their noses.
00:02:29.040 You know what I mean. 0.93
00:02:29.720 You walk into a store, you buy something from a company that doesn't share your values.
00:02:33.500 You know, what choice do you have?
00:02:35.020 They need a product.
00:02:36.340 The company knows that.
00:02:37.900 And they know you're going to keep coming back.
00:02:39.800 So what else are you going to do?
00:02:41.320 Well, it's starting to change thanks to some great companies.
00:02:43.760 Patriot Mobile is one of those companies.
00:02:45.240 They're a Christian conservative wireless provider that supports the values this audience cares about, you care about.
00:02:50.460 and you don't have to sacrifice quality for the service to make the switch.
00:02:56.600 All you have to do is go to Patriot Mobile.
00:02:59.160 They have all three networks.
00:03:00.380 They have really great coverage.
00:03:02.280 You can keep your number.
00:03:03.260 You can keep your phone.
00:03:04.280 You can switch them up, whatever you want.
00:03:06.000 Right now for Black Friday, can you believe it's almost Black Friday?
00:03:09.620 They've got a great deal, free 5G smartphone plus two months of service for free.
00:03:15.080 So you get a free 5G smartphone, two months of service, free.
00:03:19.420 No excuses.
00:03:20.140 Go to PatriotMobile.com slash Beck Friday.
00:03:24.980 Kind of like Black Friday, but Beck Friday. 0.97
00:03:27.720 What a racist. 0.98
00:03:28.620 Why wouldn't he use black? 0.99
00:03:29.940 I don't. 1.00
00:03:30.760 Call 972-PATRIOT.
00:03:32.360 972-PATRIOT.
00:03:33.300 Use the promo code BECFRIDAY.
00:03:35.500 Get a free phone.
00:03:36.340 Two months of free service.
00:03:38.020 B-E-C-K Friday.
00:03:40.060 Switch today.
00:03:40.820 Terms and conditions do apply.
00:03:43.380 All right.
00:03:43.840 So I want to look at the record here.
00:03:47.240 Because Donald Trump made some pretty heavy promises.
00:03:50.140 And now, I don't know about you, but I hate to remind everybody that the president loves when I remind him and everybody else about how I was not for President Trump the first time around.
00:04:02.960 I wasn't in 2016 because I didn't believe a word he was saying.
00:04:06.600 I'm like, there's no way he's going to do any of that stuff.
00:04:10.040 And he did a lot of that stuff.
00:04:12.340 Now, the second term, I got to tell you, he promised a lot.
00:04:16.960 And he said, I'm going to do all these things.
00:04:18.540 and I'm like, okay, sure, all right.
00:04:22.200 Can you get any of that stuff done?
00:04:25.160 I had no, and remember how you felt two years ago.
00:04:28.720 We were on the ropes.
00:04:30.080 The country is over.
00:04:31.120 If we get Kamala in, we're doomed.
00:04:34.120 He wins, and then what happens?
00:04:36.500 It's breathtaking.
00:04:37.820 For like six months, it is nonstop breathtaking.
00:04:41.760 Never seen anything like it in history.
00:04:43.840 Let's not forget that.
00:04:44.940 He did that on his own.
00:04:48.540 okay so for two weeks from today america goes in and votes you might be able to vote now
00:04:54.660 last wednesday let's look at his record last wednesday the final inflation report came in
00:05:01.380 at 3.7 so you know this is the one thing that nobody explained to the american people and
00:05:08.820 should have been explained inflation that biden had at 22 that's not going away those prices are
00:05:14.620 going to stay. Generally speaking, some will go down a little bit, but you don't ever go backwards.
00:05:20.780 So Trump needs to bring inflation to the Fed target of 2%. He's at 3.7. Now gasoline jumped
00:05:28.860 9% in a single month. Okay. The press is calling that a nightmare for the president and it is.
00:05:34.360 Okay. But nightmares last one night. Usually a record is two years. So let me look at the whole
00:05:42.540 record here okay here's what Donald Trump promised he would do and here's what he did and I'm going
00:05:48.100 to give you the good and the bad what he did that nobody saw coming and what he hasn't done
00:05:54.620 he promised to close the border did he do it for four years we were told it couldn't be done you
00:06:00.380 can't you need Congress you need a new law you need billions of dollars in a decade to be able
00:06:05.060 to stop this. Under the last administration, 11 million encounters. In December 2023 alone,
00:06:13.120 nearly 371,000 encounters at the border. This March, Border Patrol apprehensions at the
00:06:20.720 southwest border were 8,300 for the entire month, month after month after month, and zero releases
00:06:29.880 into our country. Same law, same border, different president. You know, it was never the law that was
00:06:39.300 missing. It was the will that was missing. This guy has the will to do it. So he promised
00:06:46.440 deportations. By ISIS own count, more than 356,000 removals just this year up until mid-July.
00:06:55.540 already more than all of last year now that's not the million he promised but it is moving in that
00:07:02.840 direction the same people who said mass deportation was impossible are now arguing about how fast it's
00:07:10.660 happening he promised energy remember where we were we were on the green new deal we were killing
00:07:18.540 ourselves by taking our coal fire plants out we were saying natural gas isn't going to be able to
00:07:24.480 use. We were not going to drill for our own resources. This year, America is on track to
00:07:29.540 produce more oil than any other year in our history. 13.8 million barrels a day. He also
00:07:39.720 promised factories. Well, about 309,000 manufacturing jobs are projected to be
00:07:45.100 announced coming back or coming in this year. Ask the companies why. Why are we getting
00:07:53.800 manufacturing jobs many will tell you because the tariffs okay okay we're gonna get into that
00:07:59.800 second he also said no tax on tips it's law now no tax on overtime either this spring the average
00:08:09.680 refund climbed past thirty five hundred dollars thirty five hundred dollars that is a mortgage
00:08:16.540 payment, a set of tires, a Christmas, a trip to Disneyland with just you.
00:08:26.040 Some things keep going up. Anyway, he also promised lower drug prices. Prescription prices
00:08:33.000 posted their biggest annual drop since 1963. Have you heard that anywhere? 17 of the biggest drug
00:08:43.200 companies have agreed to charge Americans no more than they charge the rest of the developed world.
00:08:48.560 For decades, you and I have been paying full price so Europe could get a discount. Trump came in,
00:08:55.880 that deal is over. He also promised to clean up crime. Murder rate now is on pace for the lowest
00:09:02.980 rate America has ever recorded. That means fewer funerals, fewer empty chairs at Thanksgiving.
00:09:10.120 He promised to kill the EV mandate.
00:09:13.720 What happened?
00:09:14.520 Congress repealed California's gas car ban.
00:09:18.240 President signed it.
00:09:19.900 What sits in your driveway today is your decision again.
00:09:23.400 Remember, two years ago, it wasn't your decision.
00:09:27.760 He also promised to bring the hostages home.
00:09:31.320 A year ago this month, every living hostage in Gaza came home, all 20.
00:09:37.180 He promised Europe would pay its share.
00:09:40.120 right everybody laughed uh-huh this year Europe and Canada hit four percent of GDP on defense
00:09:48.040 on the way to five percent they were about one or two when the president came in and they weren't
00:09:54.540 going anywhere the president of both parties have begged for that for decades he got it in a year
00:10:01.980 okay what else has he done let's look at the map because the biggest things he's done were never on
00:10:10.460 a campaign sign in january american forces captured nicolas maduro brought him here to stand trial
00:10:17.800 for narco-terrorism a sitting dictator in an american courtroom by the way how are the drugs
00:10:25.540 happening on our streets. How are the fentanyl deaths going on our streets? Any better? In
00:10:32.040 August, the president announced a deal giving the United States also control of 65 billion barrels
00:10:38.100 of Venezuelan oil. The country with the largest oil reserves on earth is no longer run by a man
00:10:45.240 who shipped cocaine and drugs to our streets and sold oil to our enemies. Then there's the Panama 0.76
00:10:52.360 Canal, Hong Kong, China. China ran the ports at both ends for nearly 30 years. He's like,
00:11:01.220 that's not going to stand. And guess what? Everybody laughed. And in February, Panama's
00:11:05.760 Supreme Court tore up the contract. China-linked operators are now out. The canal belongs to Panama,
00:11:13.900 but Beijing no longer holds the keys to both doors. Then look to the north, Greenland. He said
00:11:21.180 wanted to buy it, and the world treated it like a joke. I told you he was negotiating. Last month,
00:11:26.820 the United States, Denmark, and Greenland signed a deal with no expiration date. New American bases,
00:11:33.820 American submarines operating freely in Greenland's waters, and China locked out of building bases
00:11:39.840 there and grabbing control of the rare earth minerals. By the way, it was just announced a
00:11:44.320 couple of weeks ago we're starting exploration for rare earth minerals in Greenland. Now, he
00:11:50.800 didn't get the deed, I told you he didn't need the deed. He got America's northern front door
00:11:56.740 bolted shut. So that's Venezuela, Panama, and Greenland. By the way, draw a line through all
00:12:04.160 of them. That's not three stories. That's one story. Because for the first time in generations,
00:12:11.300 an American president has treated this hemisphere as ours to defend. 0.99
00:12:15.300 shove china back towards its own side of the world i've told you i have been over in europe 0.57
00:12:22.660 this summer i have met with three different prime ministers and all three of them have said the same 0.95
00:12:27.340 thing and believe me they don't like it over in europe you know what the president's doing what
00:12:33.280 do you think the president's strategy is i know exactly this is this is the exact guy leans in
00:12:38.680 we're having dinner and he leans over his plate and says i know exactly what your president is
00:12:42.620 doing. Your president is making your hemisphere the center of the world and kind of cutting us
00:12:47.860 out of that. And I don't really like that. I wanted to say, yeah, exactly right. I do kind
00:12:53.620 of like that. Anyway, he also promised something bigger. He said America's golden age is right
00:12:59.340 around the corner. Now you don't build a golden age in two years and you don't build a golden age
00:13:04.760 without pouring a foundation. So this is why everybody is saying, well, what is he doing?
00:13:09.700 what is he doing for me he's pouring a foundation you don't get to live in the house yet but can
00:13:15.180 you see what he's building record oil at home the largest reserves on earth opening up next door
00:13:21.520 factories coming home hundreds of billions in ai data center going up here not in china
00:13:27.360 the first sight of a missile shield over the homeland with the early version of an of a golden
00:13:34.380 Dome over America in 2028. The Arctic secured. The canal cleared. A baby born in America today
00:13:43.100 starts a life with $1,000 invested in this country in an account with his or her name on it.
00:13:48.860 Power, factories, security, and a child who owns a piece of the country. That's what the foundation
00:13:56.060 looks like. That's setting up the golden age. So those are the promises kept. Now, there are some
00:14:05.420 that he made that he didn't keep, and I think it's only fair to point those out. He promised peace.
00:14:11.380 Well, that one's not happening. Since February 28th, we have been at war with Iran. A ceasefire 0.65
00:14:17.800 in June didn't hold. Didn't expect it to, but it didn't hold. Iran declared the Strait of Hormuz
00:14:22.460 closed. Last month, the president rejected Iran's ceasefire because he said the offer wasn't good
00:14:28.300 enough and it wasn't good enough. And the war he said he would end in a day, Russia and Ukraine
00:14:35.180 is still burning. And that is the cause of our diesel prices. Now you can believe a nuclear
00:14:41.820 Iran is unacceptable. I do. But a war with no end is not peace. He also had promised to stop 1.00
00:14:51.900 inflation. You strip out food and energy and inflation is at 2.6%, but gas is up 34% over the
00:15:00.000 year. Home heating oil is up 74% and winter is coming. The prices have outrun paychecks and
00:15:07.300 that's the problem. And the Fed has raised rates in September and there's probably another one
00:15:11.380 coming. America is pumping more oil than ever, but we can't outrun the lack of refineries here.
00:15:19.300 A president can drill, but it takes a decade, you know, and you can't, it takes a decade to
00:15:24.940 build a refinery and you can't drill past a war. The fastest price cut available for this
00:15:30.860 administration is not a policy, it's just peace. I pray peace is around the corner.
00:15:38.040 He promised tariffs would pay for everything. In February, the Supreme Court struck down his
00:15:42.980 emergency tariffs and said that power belongs to Congress. He promised to get spending under
00:15:48.020 control. This year's deficit is headed towards $2.1 trillion. Our national debt is about to
00:15:54.380 cross over $41 trillion. So you can't build a golden age on a credit card.
00:16:03.100 That bill is still open and both parties are signing for it. He also promised secure elections,
00:16:11.840 state-run elections, and many of them still won't ask for an ID or clear their voter rolls.
00:16:17.220 That's a statehouse problem.
00:16:18.880 That is not a government problem.
00:16:20.640 The Republicans failed on the SAVE Act.
00:16:24.240 He also promised to unite America.
00:16:27.500 And that one, I'm going to give him a break on because that one no president can ever keep.
00:16:32.260 Not that one.
00:16:33.860 Not this president.
00:16:35.040 Not the next one.
00:16:37.060 A president can close a border. 0.87
00:16:38.920 He can capture a dictator.
00:16:40.200 He can sign a treaty over the Arctic.
00:16:41.900 But he can't make you love your neighbor.
00:16:44.200 He can't.
00:16:45.200 He can't.
00:16:47.220 That promise doesn't get kept in the Oval Office.
00:16:50.620 It gets kept in your kitchen table, at the church potluck,
00:16:55.340 at the fence line with the guy with the yard sign that you just can't stand.
00:17:03.680 I think we need to step back and look.
00:17:06.940 I'm giving you the misses as plainly as the wins, because that's how trust works.
00:17:11.480 Count your misses as honestly as your wins, and people can believe both.
00:17:17.220 And that goes for presidents.
00:17:19.120 It goes for networks.
00:17:20.340 It goes for fathers and mothers and anybody who has ever asked somebody to trust them.
00:17:26.360 Not perfect, not finished.
00:17:29.160 But after what we've lived through, I don't know, it looks an awful lot like a rescue to me.
00:17:36.860 So that's his record.
00:17:38.840 Our job is to promise to weigh the facts, be honest about it, and vote accordingly.
00:17:43.500 In two weeks, the noise is going to be deafening.
00:17:49.480 The pump will still be painful in two weeks.
00:17:52.540 I urge you to ignore the noise.
00:17:56.040 I urge you, yes, to feel the pain and then look at the whole record.
00:18:01.100 Grade the record, not the headline.
00:18:04.640 And that last promise about uniting, that's mine and yours to keep, not his.
00:18:13.500 All right, back in just a second. Let me tell you about my Patriot Supply. There is a great
00:18:17.540 American tradition that takes place every time a winter storm is forecast. Somebody on television
00:18:23.100 announces snow is coming and it's got, you know what, you have 45 minutes to live. You got to get
00:18:28.960 out and panic right now. There's 47 feet of snow coming your way. And every grocery store in the
00:18:36.380 three-state radius has been stripped of bread and milk and eggs. And apparently civilization is going
00:18:41.580 to collapse until it's a rainstorm and it rains about a half an inch. But you got French toast.
00:18:49.040 I mean, you got enough French toast to be able to last you a lifetime. Anyway, when a real
00:18:53.900 emergency hits, you don't want to be competing with 300 other people for the last can of soup
00:18:58.280 and some French toast. You want to be home, warm, safe, knowing your family has what it needs. And
00:19:03.160 that's why I tell you about my Patriot Supply. They have their winter prep bundle. It's designed
00:19:08.380 to help you get ready before the storms ever arrive and it's supposed to be a bad bad cold
00:19:15.120 heavy snow hopefully heavy snow kind of winter winter is coming whether you're ready or not
00:19:23.000 preparewithglenn.com go there and prepare now preparewithglenn.com you'll save almost 300
00:19:28.020 on the complete bundle don't wait for the forecast to send everybody scrambling again go to
00:19:32.600 preparewithglenn.com get your winter prep bundle while it's still available preparewithglenn.com
00:19:38.520 10 second station id i want to bring uh jason is because i want to get into a little bit of what
00:19:55.240 data republican has released today um data has a new book out it's called unelected you should get
00:20:01.160 it it's out today but she has been releasing some uh exposés um the democratic constitution forum
00:20:08.880 their plan on steroids a video posted by uh data shows an online meeting with the democratic
00:20:15.700 constitution forum in march of this year uh the democracy renewal group says that midterms present
00:20:22.800 a window of opportunity for the far left especially if people are nervous about legitimacy listen to
00:20:30.100 this cut three i i think we have an opportunity i think the midterms especially if there's a
00:20:35.440 meltdown around the in in midterms and a crisis of legitimacy could be a real window of opportunity
00:20:42.100 for us to to say okay some red lines have been crossed and we can say but you know what we
00:20:49.660 really need to do is transform our system let's start a conversation about that but in order to
00:20:55.820 do that in November and take advantage of the meltdown scenario. We have to get super,
00:21:00.900 super organized in the next seven months. So I think this is a plan that needs to be on steroids.
00:21:08.360 Can you help us out on that super, super organization there, Jason?
00:21:13.120 Yeah. The woman speaking there, her name is Danielle Reif.
00:21:17.680 Reif. Yeah. Reif. 0.96
00:21:19.060 Yeah. And her background is interesting, to say the least. She's a former USAID member.
00:21:25.820 She's a retired U.S. diplomat with roughly 20 years at USAID.
00:21:32.440 She's been an advocate of democratic transition, governance, and peace building, quote unquote, in places like Georgia, Uganda, and South Sudan.
00:21:43.800 Jeez.
00:21:44.760 She's done a great job, especially in the Sudan.
00:21:48.620 Great job.
00:21:49.300 So I'm laughing, but I mean, you can imagine these are the kinds of people that are partnering with radical groups talking about doing, I don't know if you're going to play this later, but extra constitutional type things, talking about a meltdown scenario.
00:22:01.220 So they are planning on if the Democrats win the House and the Senate, they are planning on going after and creating a meltdown situation to where the president has to act.
00:22:16.120 and this all goes into the color revolution.
00:22:19.360 This is how color revolutions are done
00:22:21.060 and she should know you're part of USAID.
00:22:24.600 That's part of their main thing they did.
00:22:27.160 We'll talk about this more in a minute.
00:22:29.180 First, let me tell you about Mercury One.
00:22:31.360 There is a question I've asked myself a ton.
00:22:34.880 What are we going to leave behind when we leave?
00:22:37.220 Not just for our children or our grandchildren, 0.97
00:22:41.020 but for people who haven't even been born yet.
00:22:43.620 What are we leaving behind?
00:22:45.380 What will they understand about the things we believe, the things we fought for, the people we tried to help?
00:22:51.560 That's a big part of why Mercury One exists.
00:22:53.980 For 15 years, you've helped us build one of the most incredible organizations.
00:22:58.560 We tackle things that are considered impossible.
00:23:02.220 You've helped families recover from disasters.
00:23:04.420 You've helped rescue people facing persecution and death in the Middle East.
00:23:08.760 We have moved, I've got to get the actual number, but it's between 50,000 and 100,000 people.
00:23:13.860 We have moved into safety and saved their lives because of you.
00:23:18.840 Now we have a new home in Irving, Texas, where we can build something to carry our mission forward for generations with a brand new museum.
00:23:26.340 This Saturday, we are going to be having our annual fundraiser.
00:23:31.560 We would love for you to be there.
00:23:33.280 Get your ticket at MercuryOne.org.
00:23:36.580 It's happening here in Irving, Texas.
00:23:40.440 This Saturday, Tanya and I are the hosts.
00:23:42.400 We'd love to see you.

00:23:44.980 On the latest episode of the Glenn Beck Podcast,
00:23:47.960 election expert Mark Halperin says
00:23:49.860 Democrats are weaker than you think.
00:23:51.520 Watch it now on Glenn's YouTube or glennbeck.com.
00:24:13.040 hello america i want to talk to you a little bit about uh i want to share some good news
00:24:19.700 because yesterday i felt like i was just nothing but a little black rain cloud uh and i want to
00:24:24.380 share some good news with you and some real stuff uh i just talked to you about what the record is
00:24:29.540 and i don't care how you feel about the president or you know the republicans or anybody else
00:24:34.700 um i do care that we actually look at the real record of what's going on and we remember where
00:24:40.880 we were two years ago now i happen to still believe that god is on the throne and you know
00:24:47.200 so whatever happens is going to happen uh and it'll be for our good that doesn't mean that
00:24:52.860 we don't do our part god requires us to do our part you know it's not like hey you know what
00:25:00.100 he's got the wheel no jesus really doesn't have the wheel put your hands on the steering wheel
00:25:05.500 and drive you dope uh you know but whatever happens is going to be fine and i really believe
00:25:13.060 that now let me give you some some good news before i do that i want to show you something
00:25:18.280 that is is happening in england that i'm very concerned about we spoke about this yesterday
00:25:23.140 just at the very end of the show an anti-migrant activist daniel thomas has been arrested after a
00:25:30.840 video showed up of him slashing a boat in the English Channel with a knife. Now, these are
00:25:36.320 those, you know, rubber dinghies that are coming in with all of the migrants. He was arrested on
00:25:41.980 suspicion of criminal damage with an intent to endanger life and destroying ships under the
00:25:47.360 Aviation and Maritime Security Act of 1990. Apparently, he was in this video, it was live
00:25:56.420 streamed and there was a french coast guard official on the boat with the immigrants a french
00:26:03.480 coast guard official on the boat with the migrants that are coming in and he comes out to the boat
00:26:11.040 and he slashes like we don't want you here okay so they arrest him now here's the reason why this
00:26:17.200 is really important uh i want to play uh i think it was from yesterday sought 18 this is the bubba
00:26:25.660 effect. If you don't know what the Bubba effect is, you're about to see it in real time. And this
00:26:31.320 is the clearest example of it. Bubba effect is when the government has failed to do what the
00:26:37.500 people of any country believe is the right thing. And so the people start to take business into
00:26:45.780 their own hands. And somebody is going to do something like this guy. He's going to do something
00:26:51.280 that was wrong you don't go out and slash the boat because everybody could die blah blah you
00:26:55.800 don't do that however the Bubba effect tells you that when they come and try to scoop him up
00:27:03.340 the people around him say whoa whoa whoa whoa wait a minute yeah he was wrong but you're greater
00:27:10.440 wrong because you caused this he wouldn't have been doing that if it wasn't for you and people
00:27:16.500 rally around him let me show you now this is a video that was posted right after he is arrested
00:27:24.500 and he's the this is the midlands patriot platform they're all standing together about 25 30 of them
00:27:31.560 in black with masks on and one guy steps up and says this this is a message to our government
00:27:38.280 since the arrest and remand of danny thomas the midlands section of the patriot platform
00:27:43.060 has more than tripled in numbers.
00:27:45.680 Whatever the attention behind his arrest and remand,
00:27:48.240 it has not silenced those who support the platform.
00:27:50.740 If anything, it has brought greater attention to the issues
00:27:53.460 that many people believe are being ignored.
00:27:55.880 People are increasingly concerned, not only about illegal migration
00:27:59.700 and the pressures it places on communities and public services,
00:28:03.220 but also how ordinary British members of the public are being treated
00:28:07.120 when they voice their concerns.
00:28:09.460 The response has been clear. The Patriot platform has grown.
00:28:12.960 Patriot Platform is now expanding its vetting and administration teams
00:28:17.140 so that we can properly process the significant increase in membership
00:28:21.100 and ensure that everyone joining is dealt with responsibly and appropriately.
00:28:26.220 Attempts to silence this debate do not make people's concerns disappear.
00:28:30.140 They can instead bring those concerns into sharper focus
00:28:32.940 and encourage more people to come involved.
00:28:35.580 The message from the Midlands is simple.
00:28:37.780 People are paying attention.
00:28:39.420 People are organising.
00:28:40.720 and people expect their concerns to be heard we will not stop until we get what we want god bless
00:28:47.700 great britain so feel one way or the other this is a very important development bubba effects
00:28:55.940 are very very dangerous to a country and they're they're dangerous because they're understandable
00:29:03.440 many of the times you look at that and go well i probably would have done the same thing or i'm
00:29:08.280 Glad somebody's out there doing it.
00:29:10.140 And that's what makes them so dangerous because they discredit the government.
00:29:14.160 You know, France just, they just arrested the guy who started burning, you know, the, what was it, in Le Monde, the city hall.
00:29:23.180 Burned that, you know, 200-year-old building down, all filled with beautiful artwork and everything else.
00:29:29.260 They just arrested him.
00:29:30.840 Guess what?
00:29:32.380 It looks like he was a leader in Antifa.
00:29:36.320 But they've dismissed that.
00:29:38.280 that's what leads to the Bubba effect.
00:29:42.140 Oh, wait a minute.
00:29:44.040 We told you those guys were bad guys.
00:29:47.360 You did nothing.
00:29:49.400 We're not going to let, if you don't arrest them,
00:29:51.460 you don't put them in prison, then we'll start doing something.
00:29:55.380 And that's when it gets very, very dangerous.
00:29:58.380 Now, let me give you some good news from around the world.
00:30:02.200 Because as I said a minute ago that, you know,
00:30:05.920 I believe that God is in charge.
00:30:08.280 God's working in ways that we might go,
00:30:13.200 well, that doesn't help politically.
00:30:14.560 I don't think God's in politics.
00:30:16.200 In fact, I'm pretty sure he's not in politics.
00:30:19.520 He's into changing people's hearts,
00:30:21.520 and that's what changes culture,
00:30:22.900 and that's what changes politics.
00:30:24.900 So let me tell you a story.
00:30:26.740 This is just a new story just out from Ahmed Jokton.
00:30:33.640 Ahmed grew up in Saudi Arabia,
00:30:37.000 And he grew up in a house where, you know, God had rules.
00:30:41.240 His father knew all of them because his father was a mufti, an Islamic legal scholar.
00:30:47.620 So, you know, when somebody needed to be heard on Sharia law, you know, do we cut his hand off?
00:30:56.140 Do we not cut his hand off? 0.96
00:30:57.260 Do we stone her or not? 0.96
00:30:59.540 His father was the guy who made the decisions, what is permitted and what is forbidden.
00:31:04.100 By the time Ahmed was 13, he had memorized the entire Quran, every word.
00:31:10.360 His school didn't teach English, so when he got into medical school and opened his textbooks, he couldn't read them.
00:31:17.800 He studied medicine one page at a time through Google Translate, believe it or not.
00:31:24.180 Well, that wasn't going to work.
00:31:26.020 So the Mufti, that flew his son to the other side of the earth to Auckland, New Zealand, to learn English.
00:31:34.100 He took a hotel room there. He went to class. Two and a half months went by.
00:31:38.960 And then one night while he's there, he had a dream.
00:31:42.000 And in the dream, the doors to his balcony in his room swung open.
00:31:47.060 Light poured into the room. More light, he said, than the room could hold.
00:31:52.400 And in the light, in walks a figure of a man, and he hears a voice, come to me.
00:31:58.980 then in the dream that guy shows him a building and it's a building with white pillars in front
00:32:07.020 of it and the voice said go to the house of white pillars and there you shall find the truth
00:32:12.000 well Ahmed wakes up and he is absolutely terrified because his dad had warned him you if you ever see
00:32:18.920 a gin or a genie that's a spirit and it's evil and his father had warned him about that so he's
00:32:25.740 freaked it's three o'clock in the morning he goes down he's so freaked he goes down to the front
00:32:30.860 desk and he stands in front of the night receptionist until the sun comes up then he
00:32:36.840 immediately calls the travel agency and says i want a flight home well he goes back upstairs as
00:32:44.300 he's waiting for all that to happen he takes a shower he goes to class he's getting english class
00:32:49.020 he goes to class but he can't keep it in he tells the whole room about his dream the light the voice
00:32:55.700 the pillars. Now, the teacher was a Christian, and she listened, and she said something that
00:33:03.060 this Mufti son was not willing to hear. She said, I think, Ahmed, you just saw Jesus. 0.95
00:33:12.120 Okay. He didn't like that. He leaves class. He's walking the streets of Auckland,
00:33:19.980 and he finds it. He's walking down the street, and he sees the building from his dream,
00:33:25.700 It's white pillars.
00:33:27.580 It looks just like he saw in his dream.
00:33:29.900 It's a church.
00:33:31.920 And inside was a pastor named Brian Johnson.
00:33:35.500 And for three days, the two of them talked.
00:33:39.840 The pastor and the guy who memorized the Quran at 13.
00:33:44.080 And the pastor who had never seen him before, they talked about sin, they talked about life, they talked about salvation, they talked about who Jesus is. 0.50
00:33:52.500 The pastor even started with the places in the Koran that called Jesus the Word of God because he knew Ahmed was already grounded in that.
00:34:01.740 Well, Ahmed didn't want to read the Bible.
00:34:03.420 He resisted it.
00:34:04.660 But eventually he read one verse, and it was John 14, 6.
00:34:08.760 I am the way, the truth, and the life.
00:34:11.420 The truth, the same word the voice in the dream had used.
00:34:16.100 You'll find the truth.
00:34:17.760 so the pastor said do you want to repent and follow jesus he was a little surprised when
00:34:26.900 the mufti son said yes i do but he had already put things into motion with a travel agency
00:34:33.780 so now he's flying home and he's going into saudi arabia where you can't have a bible well
00:34:40.320 he smuggles an arabic new testament into saudi arabia that's tucked in between all of his
00:34:46.300 English textbooks, the same books he had once needed Google to help him read.
00:34:51.940 He keeps it hidden until he's reading it. One day, family walks in, they see him reading the Bible,
00:35:01.960 and everybody knew there's trouble. So the brothers come in and they beat him within an
00:35:10.920 inch of his life. Then dad comes home. You know, the dad who knows all of the rules. He picks up
00:35:17.260 an AK-47, points it at his own son, and says, I will kill you unless you burn that book. 0.99
00:35:25.940 And Ahmed burned it. He later said he did it because he had decided already about that book. 0.99
00:35:32.180 He said they could take the paper, but what was already written in him, they could never take.
00:35:37.220 So he burns the book.
00:35:39.660 But his family disowns him.
00:35:42.320 They remove his name from the family tree. 0.99
00:35:44.980 This is just how open the Sharia law people are. 1.00
00:35:49.020 He loses his home. 1.00
00:35:50.640 He loses his family.
00:35:52.240 Because of his brothers and his dad, he loses 13 teeth.
00:35:57.060 He goes back to Auckland.
00:35:58.800 He still has scars on his face and on his back from being whipped and beaten.
00:36:03.520 Today, he's an evangelist.
00:36:14.200 He co-founded a ministry called Mecca to Christ.
00:36:20.340 His ministry is online. 0.59
00:36:22.420 He's teaching Muslims online in countries where saying the name of Jesus can get you killed. 0.76
00:36:27.980 He's now written books.
00:36:29.320 One of them he wrote with a pastor from Auckland.
00:36:33.520 and if you ask him if it was worth it,
00:36:38.880 he'll tell you through his missing teeth,
00:36:41.820 he never regretted it once, not once.
00:36:47.700 He said, my family took my name off our family tree,
00:36:53.860 but now, now my name is written in the book of life.
00:37:00.900 now here's a part of the story that he didn't know until later
00:37:06.580 inside that church with white pillars
00:37:09.760 before ahmed ever came through the door pastor brian johnson had been talking to his congregation
00:37:19.340 and they had been fasting and praying not for a revival in general not for the lost in general
00:37:26.660 For two weeks, they had been praying for something very specific, a chance to share the gospel
00:37:35.320 with somebody from Saudi Arabia in New Zealand.
00:37:42.340 And on the other side of town, in a hotel room, in the middle of the night, somebody
00:37:50.400 from Saudi Arabia's balcony doors burst open, and there stands a man bathed in light. 0.87
00:38:00.340 Human beings can get used to almost anything, including things they absolutely shouldn't
00:38:05.440 be used to. A really good example, unfortunately, a lot of Americans have gotten used to being broke
00:38:10.620 two days after payday. Bills come in, money goes out, you just accept, well, that's the way life
00:38:15.860 works now. No, it doesn't have to be that way. If you own a home, you may have built up significant
00:38:21.840 equity over the years. And depending on your situation, that equity could help you consolidate
00:38:26.020 high interest debt and reduce your monthly payments. And that's where American financing
00:38:30.100 comes in. They help homeowners explore mortgage options that could put some much needed breathing
00:38:35.980 room back into the family budget. Listen, do not reset your low interest loan. If you have a low
00:38:41.940 interest loan in your house. Don't do that. That's not what I'm talking about here. They have a
00:38:47.800 system that leaves that loan alone, so you don't reset that. Financing will save an average of
00:38:58.040 about $830 a month. That's what anybody from this audience is saving, an average of that.
00:39:04.040 You don't have to accept financial pressure as permanent. Don't. Sometimes it's worth finding
00:39:09.680 out what your options are. Today it is 800-906-2440, 800-906-2440, or go to AmericanFinancing.net.
00:39:18.560 NMLS 182334, NMLSConsumerAccess.org. Average savings based on borrowers who save over $199.99.
00:39:24.820 Promoting self-reliance over government dependence. Glenn Beck will be back right after this.
00:39:39.680 There is nothing more important than what we can do right now than to vote.
00:39:47.860 Our families and neighbors should join us and vote.
00:39:50.780 I've said many times, elections are local.
00:39:52.860 But what does that mean?
00:39:54.260 So many Americans walk in and make their choice at the top of the ballot, and then they guess down the rest. 0.96
00:39:59.060 Frankly, that's why our local governments are so screwed up.

00:40:52.100 All right.
00:40:54.380 Glenn, I did a grok search comparing the structure of our debt to France
00:41:00.780 before they started going into the streets. 0.74
00:41:03.560 Our Social Security is set up almost the same.
00:41:06.820 most of our debt is held internally, isn't that more or less of a Ponzi scheme?
00:41:14.040 Well, no, no.
00:41:17.180 Social Security, you know, pays the retirees with the funding that comes in today that you are paying in your taxes.
00:41:26.580 You know, the trust fund is nothing but IOUs.
00:41:29.340 So you say, well, Glenn, that's a Ponzi scheme.
00:41:31.820 No, it's not. It's not.
00:41:33.380 And there is one clear difference.
00:41:36.820 this scheme the government made legal everything else that is even close to resembling this you'd

00:44:19.200 The fusion of entertainment, enlightenment and empowerment
00:44:27.720 this is the glenn beck program hello america welcome to the glenn beck program there is a
00:44:37.620 lot going on today that we need to talk about but i want to take a break because i mentioned
00:44:41.400 something last hour the bubba effect and what is happening now in england and uh a lot of people
00:44:47.680 in this audience who have listened to me for a long time are like glenn i don't understand now
00:44:51.300 your problem with the Bubba effect. Isn't that the way we were founded on? No, it's not. And
00:44:57.700 it's a subtle difference, but it's a big difference. And I'll, I'll, I'll explain here
00:45:01.780 coming up in just a second. Uh, also let me tell you about friend factor. You know, our dogs,
00:45:08.200 I got to tell you, I, I miss my dogs. I miss my dogs so much. I was talking to somebody the other
00:45:15.440 day and they brought up a Uno. And I mean, I got to tell you, it's been almost a year, probably a
00:45:20.740 year, and I still get teary-eyed thinking about him. I miss him so much, and if there was anything
00:45:26.020 I could have done to help him live longer or happier or healthier, I would have, and we did.
00:45:31.620 I mean, man, we did a lot for Uno, but, you know, their time comes, and unfortunately, their life is
00:45:37.000 a lot shorter than ours, but there is something that you can help ease your dog's, you know, pain
00:45:44.000 if they are starting to get old, and they're losing joint function, you know, they're just
00:45:48.820 not as mobile as they can. It killed me when Uno couldn't go up the stairs or jump into the back
00:45:53.500 of the truck. Your dog has always been a high-energy athlete, and some of them, yes,
00:46:00.200 become a professional couch potato. However, they are remarkable, and they're our best friends.
00:46:06.860 Give your dog, the first bag, a friend factor today. This is something that helps ease their
00:46:12.500 pain eases their mobility keeps the inflation down inflation um inflammation down in their body
00:46:18.660 that's in case you have a federal reserve dog uh get your first bag of friend factor today it's
00:46:24.160 1995 at relieffactor.com that's relieffactor.com all right so let me tell you about a story that
00:46:33.520 i have that i just shared with you about half an hour ago and it is on the bubba effect now if you
00:46:41.420 don't know what the Bubba effect is, the Bubba effect comes when there is absolutely no credibility
00:46:52.080 left in a government because the government has failed to enforce the laws and disorder persists.
00:47:04.040 Now that can be with terrorism, that can be at the border, that can be the crime that you see in your streets, that can be, honestly, that can be corruption at the highest levels and the people just keep getting away with it.
00:47:21.600 And the voter, the average voter says, this has got to stop. And so the public trust completely collapses. And then the public says, well, I got to do something about this.
00:47:35.040 And when somebody does something about this, the government acts.
00:47:41.460 And the government's like, no, we have to stop this.
00:47:43.820 And that's when the people who no longer trust the government say, well, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
00:47:49.660 Yeah, I know Bubba was wrong for what he just did.
00:47:53.000 And he shouldn't have done that.
00:47:54.800 But he's only doing that because you won't do your job.
00:47:57.660 and people who normally support law enforcement side with the lawbreaker because the system is
00:48:06.660 no longer legitimate now i brought this up uh earlier uh play uh cut 18 there is an anti-immigrant
00:48:15.180 activist in great britain his name is daniel thomas he has been arrested because there was
00:48:22.180 a video of him going out into the water taking a knife and slicing up a rubber raft that was coming
00:48:28.520 in and he was arrested on criminal damage with intent to endanger life and destroying ships
00:48:35.760 what's crazy about this is that there was a french coast guard official in that boat so the french
00:48:43.140 coast guard were not taking them to france was helping these people get across from france
00:48:49.680 to england i mean it's insane what's going on so he was arrested and then all of his compatriots
00:48:57.940 they decide that they're they've had enough and this is the midlands patriot platform
00:49:04.120 and they put out a live stream video and this is what was said this is a message to our government
00:49:10.940 since the arrest and remand of danny thomas the midlands section of the patriot platform
00:49:15.800 has more than tripled in numbers.
00:49:18.420 Whatever the attention behind his arrest and remand,
00:49:20.960 it has not silenced those who support the platform.
00:49:23.480 If anything, it has brought greater attention to the issues
00:49:26.180 that many people believe are being ignored.
00:49:28.640 People are increasingly concerned, not only about illegal migration
00:49:32.420 and the pressures it places on communities and public services,
00:49:35.960 but also how ordinary British members of the public are being treated
00:49:39.820 when they voice their concerns.
00:49:42.180 The response has been clear. The Patriot platform has grown.
00:49:45.720 Patriot Platform is now expanding its vetting and administration teams
00:49:49.860 so that we can properly process the significant increase in membership
00:49:53.820 and ensure that everyone joining is dealt with responsibly and appropriately.
00:49:58.960 Attempts to silence this debate do not make people's concerns disappear.
00:50:02.840 They can instead bring those concerns into sharper focus
00:50:05.660 and encourage more people to come involved.
00:50:08.300 The message from the Midlands is simple.
00:50:10.520 People are paying attention.
00:50:12.160 People are organising.
00:50:13.440 and people expect their concerns to be heard we will not stop until we get what we want god bless
00:50:20.420 great britain all right so i played that i warn i've been warning you about the bubba effect
00:50:26.880 since probably 2004 and i thought it was going to come in the shape of muslim extremists um and it
00:50:34.600 may still here in america but it is showing up on the shores of england now uh because of 0.92
00:50:41.420 immigration and everything in you wants to say they're right they're right somebody has to stop
00:50:49.820 this right so jason and ricky i want to bring you in because the insiders disagree with me so i want
00:50:57.460 to go through some of this stuff yeah the biggest comment is people the majority of people wondering
00:51:02.900 well it sounds like our own revolution was uh you know an act of the bubba effect insider nicole
00:51:09.040 said if you believe rebellion to tyrants is obedience to god how does that square with being
00:51:13.360 so against the bubba effect and one more dr angry man said i do not understand glenn's fear of the
00:51:18.640 bubba effect this nation was created as a consequence of our bubba's bubba is the first
00:51:23.040 step towards the right of revolution i'm trying to remember the exact phrase from the declaration of
00:51:35.520 independence, that our government should not be changed over, what is it, transient things. I'm
00:51:43.100 trying to remember. Can you remember that line? Somebody look up the, I think it's the second or
00:51:48.300 third paragraph of the Declaration of Independence, that we just don't change our government over
00:51:53.840 things that are small. Now, none of these things are small, but they went and redressed and redressed
00:52:02.340 and redressed and redressed. They went back and they begged the king. For 15, 20 years,
00:52:08.920 they were begging the king. Then what did they do? The Tea Party was not rebellion the way you
00:52:19.380 think the Tea Party is. That was very organized, very peaceful. The guys who broke into the ship,
00:52:27.340 They went on.
00:52:28.780 They told the captain, I'm sorry, we're going to do this.
00:52:31.820 And he said, if I don't deliver this tea, then I lose.
00:52:35.260 And they said, okay, then we won't turn you over.
00:52:38.280 We'll throw the tea.
00:52:39.620 So it's a loss.
00:52:40.860 So they didn't come in to throw the tea overboard.
00:52:44.960 They came onto the boat to turn him around when he said, I can't do that.
00:52:50.340 I will lose all of the money.
00:52:52.160 Nobody will be paid.
00:52:53.140 I won't be paid.
00:52:53.880 They said, okay, then we'll throw it into the harbor.
00:52:56.860 So you've delivered the tea, we took it, and we threw it into the harbor.
00:53:01.180 Then they swept up after the boat.
00:53:03.980 After they left, they swept up.
00:53:06.280 They didn't break anything, they didn't burn anything down.
00:53:09.160 It's totally different.
00:53:14.840 The problem with the Bubba effect is it starts with the government.
00:53:21.260 The government fails to do something over and over and over again.
00:53:25.900 And because of that, failure becomes a pattern, and that pattern leads to, I don't trust them anymore.
00:53:33.980 Why haven't they fixed this?
00:53:35.300 I mean, how many times have we said this about voting?
00:53:37.960 Why haven't they?
00:53:38.580 That doesn't make any sense.
00:53:39.780 Why haven't you passed the Save America Act?
00:53:43.680 It doesn't make any sense.
00:53:46.380 Then you get into private action.
00:53:49.380 Somebody finally acts.
00:53:51.080 That's Bubba.
00:53:52.300 Now, this changes everything because now it's a moral inversion.
00:54:00.340 Because the public realizes what Bubba did is wrong, but the answer to that is, well, why is it they can't stop the people coming in from the boats, but they can sure get that guy?
00:54:16.060 And so it begins to muddy the moral laws.
00:54:22.300 Because you support Bubba, even though you're saying, yes, he's breaking the law as well, which leads to who has the ultimate authority here?
00:54:35.320 If the government won't do it, then we will.
00:54:38.100 Who has the authority to wield that?
00:54:41.780 And so you now start to have competing authorities.
00:54:45.760 Okay, what's the problem with that?
00:54:47.380 the problem with that is
00:54:52.020 now it's citizen versus citizen
00:54:54.620 this is the same reason
00:54:57.820 Antifa says they can go burn things down
00:55:01.080 this is the same reason that the Marxists say
00:55:04.300 they can go burn things down
00:55:05.600 because they can't get anything done
00:55:07.720 they can't get anybody to do anything in government
00:55:10.640 so they have to do whatever it takes
00:55:13.300 now I think they're wrong
00:55:16.620 but they think you're wrong
00:55:19.500 do you see what's happened here
00:55:22.700 what's happened because of Bubba
00:55:25.460 because of the other side doing the same thing
00:55:27.900 who decides
00:55:29.340 what the government is supposed to do
00:55:33.500 who decides when the government has failed
00:55:36.700 Bubba
00:55:37.480 who decides who's guilty
00:55:40.020 Bubba
00:55:40.760 who decides the punishment 0.88
00:55:43.120 Bubba on both sides
00:55:45.580 this is where it becomes a problem
00:55:48.340 this is where it becomes frightening
00:55:49.940 you know one neighborhood's
00:55:52.100 Bubba is protecting the store
00:55:54.240 another group's Bubba
00:55:55.520 may believe that the store owner
00:55:57.860 is the oppressor
00:55:58.980 and they're the oppressed and so we have to burn that store down
00:56:02.520 another may believe
00:56:04.080 that the police is the enemy
00:56:05.620 another believes that the immigrants
00:56:07.740 are the enemy 0.99
00:56:08.620 another believes that the Christians are the enemy 0.99
00:56:10.960 or another Bubba shows up and it's the Jews 0.96
00:56:13.140 or the Muslims or the Socialists
00:56:14.740 or the conservatives or the liberal. 0.78
00:56:16.860 Each one says, the system failed, therefore I must act.
00:56:23.600 At that point, see, everybody thinks this leads to a revolution
00:56:28.240 and a government restored.
00:56:30.180 It doesn't.
00:56:32.060 You don't have a restored self-government.
00:56:34.780 You have competing definitions of justice.
00:56:38.920 And once that's gone, what do you have left?
00:56:46.220 Then it is just survival of the fittest.
00:56:49.420 Then it is just which one can eat the others.
00:56:54.920 That's the problem with this.
00:56:57.380 It feels right.
00:56:59.820 It even in some cases looks right.
00:57:03.400 Because I'm tired of it too.
00:57:07.180 We all are.
00:57:08.920 But the minute we stop, the minute we ignore our Constitution, the minute we ignore the things and set up the things and do the right thing, and the right thing, look, self-defense is always the right thing.
00:57:28.480 Self-defense is the right thing.
00:57:30.820 Is this self-defense of the nation?
00:57:32.800 Unfortunately, you're not given the right of self-defense for the nation.
00:57:43.620 We have lent that right to our government.
00:57:48.840 And until we have no elections left, until we have somebody who actually says, like Zelensky, no more elections.
00:57:59.960 You must work through the election process.
00:58:05.740 And for as frustrated as you might get, we are making progress.
00:58:12.480 You know where Bubba is missing the next step?
00:58:19.760 Bubba is missing the next step at the ballot box.
00:58:24.960 Now, in England, I think it's a little different because they're not really having elections.
00:58:31.020 They're just appointing the next prime minister.
00:58:33.960 They're just handing it to the next guy.
00:58:37.300 It's insane what's happening.
00:58:38.860 They don't have free and fair elections, in my opinion, the way I understand what's going on over there.
00:58:44.420 They're not having free and fair elections.
00:58:46.180 You're not getting a choice.
00:58:47.320 They're just handing the baton to the next guy.
00:58:51.140 That's more like a kingdom.
00:58:54.960 I've said to you from the beginning of all of this
00:59:05.520 that you have to listen to the Spirit
00:59:11.560 because our choices are going...
00:59:16.100 I look at this as a sieve.
00:59:19.620 We're just constantly being shook through a sieve.
00:59:24.960 We're being sorted, and the big lumps are already out.
00:59:29.580 And when you have a sieve, you strain everything, you get the big lumps out,
00:59:35.200 and then you take another finer sieve, and you sieve the flour that way,
00:59:40.080 and you get the smaller lumps out until it is so incredibly fine.
00:59:45.280 And we're headed towards that place to where the sieve is going to be so fine,
00:59:50.060 you're not going to really know the difference between right and wrong
00:59:53.440 because it's going to be so damn close.
00:59:57.540 And that's why if you don't have the Spirit to guide you,
01:00:00.560 you're not going to make it
01:00:01.820 because there are going to be things that feel absolutely right to you.
01:00:08.340 And honestly,
01:00:18.240 this may just be me.
01:00:20.760 And so you have to listen to me, what I say,
01:00:23.040 and take it with a grain of salt.
01:00:24.540 I'm not here to tell you what...
01:00:26.100 I'm no moral authority.
01:00:27.720 I am no better than you.
01:00:29.220 I am no smarter than you.
01:00:30.900 This is my job.
01:00:33.320 And so I pay attention to things
01:00:36.140 that you don't have time to.
01:00:38.760 But that doesn't mean I'm right.
01:00:41.940 I try to approach everything I do prayerfully,
01:00:45.080 but that doesn't mean I get it right.
01:00:47.880 But I am trying to follow my principles and what I believe the Spirit tells me I'm supposed to say and do.
01:01:03.120 And I have news for you.
01:01:04.520 I don't think we're supposed to ever be violent.
01:01:07.580 I just don't.
01:01:09.140 And I won't be.
01:01:11.200 Now, you come on my property and you try to hurt my children. 1.00
01:01:13.900 I'll kill you. 1.00
01:01:14.740 I'll shoot you in the head. 1.00
01:01:15.760 But me going out? No, I won't. I won't. 1.00
01:01:22.200 Because the key word, and I've said this since 2008, the key word in the future, but the key word now, is chaos.
01:01:31.520 Anything that causes more chaos is not good.
01:01:38.040 Who's the author of all chaos?
01:01:42.040 That doesn't mean you have to agree with me.
01:01:45.760 I would just ask that you would consider it.
01:01:50.340 All right, we're going to take some more of your questions here in just a second.
01:01:52.840 First, let me tell you about SimpliSafe.
01:01:53.980 If you wanted to make your house attractive as possible to a burglar, how would you do it?
01:01:57.760 I mean, right?
01:01:58.540 You'd make sure there are no security cameras.
01:02:00.880 You know, while you're at it, you might put up a nice little sign that says, hey, help yourself.
01:02:04.760 Doors open.
01:02:05.800 Obviously, nobody would do that on purpose.
01:02:07.280 But millions of Americans have homes without a security system, which means they're missing some of the easiest protections.

01:03:15.160 Vince in Tennessee, go ahead.
01:03:17.880 Yes, sir. It's great to be talking to you.
01:03:20.000 I listen to you every morning.
01:03:21.880 Thank you.
01:03:23.820 Yeah, I just wanted to say that I disagreed on the facts about the Bubba effect in England, as it is. 0.70
01:03:29.940 they and europe as a whole don't have 15 to 20 years to address parliament and go through that 0.61
01:03:38.680 process like you know we did with the king during the revolution and all that and for the past at
01:03:45.160 least five years that i've been paying attention they've tried to address it through parliament
01:03:50.920 as you know representatives but sylvia i i want to i want to say i i i may agree with you on
01:03:58.460 i wasn't talking about england and france i was using that as an example of what's happening over
01:04:02.740 there and i said i don't think they have an actual vote to who's going to be their prime minister i
01:04:08.280 don't think they've had one for a while so it's different over there i'm i'm speaking specifically
01:04:11.960 about america right right and uh we do have i think we have you know a little more time
01:04:18.860 than they do uh but it's getting close yeah i agree it's it's getting close but until you don't
01:04:25.840 have a say at the polls until you don't. I mean, for those who say, I'm not going to vote. Well,
01:04:32.280 okay. I mean, that's what you, I mean, you have a right to do that, but you have a responsibility
01:04:39.540 to pick between the people that we have. So people who aren't voting, you're actually leading us
01:04:46.320 closer to a Bubba effect, I believe, because you're wasting the time that we have. You have
01:04:52.060 a chance to pick and I know they're not perfect. Some of them are actually kind of bad. You gotta
01:04:57.640 pick. You've got to go exercise your vote. Then you can say, I voted, I participated every time
01:05:04.900 and we're still not getting satisfaction. Then you at least have a case, but you want the Bubba
01:05:10.400 effect and you're not voting? I'm not listening to you. You have no right to say that. You didn't
01:05:16.280 do your responsibility. Let me talk to you about a relief factor. Your body is running one of the
01:05:21.080 most sophisticated operations in the universe without you even knowing it. Cells are being
01:05:25.700 replaced. Tissues are being maintained. Your immune system is carrying out millions of jobs
01:05:30.420 every single second. So you can function. I mean, it's amazing, which is probably a good thing.
01:05:37.620 Most of us can barely remember to change the air filter in our house. Can you imagine if we had to
01:05:41.920 pay attention to everything going on in our bodies? As we get older, our bodies don't always
01:05:46.040 recover as easily as they once did, and frequent pain becomes a real problem, and that's one reason
01:05:51.180 Relief Factor is there. It's a drug-free supplement designed to support your body's
01:05:55.260 natural inflammatory response, which plays an important role in how your body deals with
01:05:59.840 everyday aches and discomfort. Over a million people have tried Relief Factor, and two-thirds
01:06:04.820 of them have gone on to take more. That's a lot of people getting their lives back.
01:06:08.640 Get the three-week quick start. It's $17.76. That's their 250th anniversary price. Get Relief Factor.

01:06:20.280 That's 800, the number 4, Relief.

01:06:29.500 If you want to understand why so many young people are flocking to the DSA,
01:06:33.620 the answer is hidden in Mom Donnie's failed rap career.
01:06:37.100 Read all about it at glennbeck.com.
01:06:45.160 i want to show you how how easily it is to confuse things um just got this in from a listener hey
01:07:09.700 Glenn, listen to this sermon yesterday, and I am shocked by the near disdain with which this pastor
01:07:16.640 kept referring to you. I have followed this pastor for 20-plus years, from First Baptist in DuPont
01:07:22.560 to Richmond First Baptist. I deeply respect his study and his teaching, just as I respect Glenn's,
01:07:28.660 and I've never seen him as left-leaning. He's deeply grounded in the biblical, historic text
01:07:33.400 and context, truly biblical and Jesus-centered. That's what made this so surprising.
01:07:39.360 It's 20 minutes.
01:07:42.000 It's well spent if it hadn't reached you yet.
01:07:45.120 Given how passionate they both are about Jesus grounded positive impact,
01:07:48.760 I'd love to see the two of them have a real conversation.
01:07:51.200 Okay, so I just opened this up.
01:07:53.220 I haven't listened to very much of it,
01:07:54.340 but I can tell you what the problem is right at the very beginning.
01:07:58.500 So let me play just this opening of this sermon.
01:08:02.260 It's called Do Justice.
01:08:03.620 On March the 2nd, 2010, Glenn Beck told the people listening to his nationally syndicated
01:08:13.360 radio program, if your pastor starts talking about social justice, you need to find another church. 0.81
01:08:23.580 That's accurate, buddy.
01:08:24.260 His program had an estimated 6.5 million listeners at the time, but that warning began to spread
01:08:30.480 like wildfire through the Christian community. It got as far as Richmond's first Baptist church,
01:08:37.020 and the next time I mentioned the word justice from the pulpit, I was confronted by a well-meaning
01:08:43.040 deacon who said, you've got to be careful about using that word. Why? I said, well, he answered,
01:08:50.800 we don't want people to leave the church no no we don't but with whatever respect is due
01:09:01.300 mr beck we also don't want a radio talk show host to keep us from using a word that shows up over a
01:09:08.620 thousand times in the bible and perhaps most memorably in today's call to worship from micah
01:09:15.620 chapter 6, where an earnest worshiper asked, with what shall I come before the Lord and bow myself
01:09:22.580 before God on high? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will the
01:09:29.100 Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my
01:09:35.680 firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body, for the sin of my soul? The prophet replies,
01:09:43.220 He has told you, O mortal, what is good, and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
01:09:58.520 Do justice, the prophet says.
01:10:02.820 The Hebrew word is...
01:10:04.180 Okay, so what's the problem with that? 0.98
01:10:07.380 How could I possibly disagree with that?
01:10:10.580 it's going to come as a surprise to this pastor i don't i don't because pastor i'm going to take
01:10:18.760 you i don't know you but i'm going to take you at your word that you're an honest and decent man
01:10:23.160 and so i'm not trying to cast any aspersions but here's where the problem is i want you go back to
01:10:30.500 the first of your sermon and listen what did i say because you said it on march the 2nd 2010
01:10:36.560 Ken, Glenn Beck told the people listening to his nationally syndicated radio program,
01:10:42.700 if your pastor starts talking about social justice...
01:10:47.260 Okay, whoa, whoa, whoa.
01:10:49.260 Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
01:10:52.060 What did I say, pastor?
01:10:54.440 I said social justice.
01:10:59.140 And just like everything, words matter.
01:11:02.720 There's two words there.
01:11:03.600 It's not just justice.
01:11:05.340 I have no problem with justice. Of course, God is just. Of course, justice is important.
01:11:14.140 Social justice is not what the Bible talks about. The Bible never mentions social justice
01:11:21.300 because social justice is a construct of man.
01:11:28.140 And it's all about collective salvation. And I'm not going to lecture you because you know all of
01:11:33.640 this. This is just, I'm not going to say dishonest. This is, you missed something critical here,
01:11:42.860 Pastor. You and I don't disagree. I don't know what the motive, why you would bring this back
01:11:49.500 from 15 years ago, because I've already had this argument over and over and over again, okay?
01:11:55.300 stop taking things out of context social justice in the context of collective salvation
01:12:04.680 is dangerous now catholics came up with social justice back in the 1800s i think
01:12:12.900 and it was not about collective salvation but that's just like what they call cigarettes 0.60
01:12:21.080 over in england they might have called cigarettes that over in england now or i mean then uh you
01:12:27.940 know we're not calling them that now because that's not what that word means social justice
01:12:33.720 is different than justice radically different this is why you know the the person that wrote
01:12:41.940 in said i'm confused because i like both of you and i think both of you and honestly to that
01:12:47.940 listener, I bet we do agree on almost everything. I bet we do. I'm sure we have differences,
01:12:53.400 but not on this. That's just ill-informed, misrepresented, because he had both words at
01:13:01.240 the very beginning. Social justice, not justice, not justice. Now, I haven't listened to the rest,
01:13:06.480 so he might say horrible things, you know, whatever about me, and he might be right about
01:13:10.980 the rest. I don't know. I haven't heard the other, you know, 18 minutes, but I don't think I need to.
01:13:17.300 I don't think I need to, because I think that clearly answers that question.
01:13:22.620 And I say that with the understanding that we all make mistakes.
01:13:26.980 We all make mistakes.
01:13:28.840 And I have two ways to go here.
01:13:31.560 I could be a flamethrower, and I could condemn this man.
01:13:37.460 That would be just as wrong.
01:13:39.900 I don't want, my whole point in this hour is we cannot make more enemies.
01:13:50.040 We have enough.
01:13:51.780 We need to come together.
01:13:55.580 But sometimes that means coming together, being precise with language,
01:14:01.660 being precise with ideas and concepts,
01:14:07.060 being able to hold two truths in one hand.
01:14:10.640 Boy, we agree on all of these really important things,
01:14:13.520 but this one thing we disagree on,
01:14:16.240 and you look at those two and say,
01:14:18.060 how does that balance out?
01:14:20.120 How does that balance out?
01:14:22.840 Because we have to come together.
01:14:25.880 Because the left, and this is one of the things,
01:14:28.600 the Washington Post did a great article today.
01:14:32.360 Well, kind of.
01:14:35.040 U.S. officials quietly advise states fearing Trump of election meddling.
01:14:42.760 Now, what is this story really about?
01:14:45.120 This story is about a group that includes 10 current and former officials with the experience in the Defense Department,
01:14:53.720 some of whom have previously focused on countering authoritarianism abroad.
01:14:58.800 In other words, what does that say to you? 0.72
01:15:01.080 They're part of color revolutions.
01:15:02.540 their efforts are motivated not by political bias they say but a growing sense of alarm that
01:15:09.240 president trump will harm the american democracy by undermining the integrity of the vote to keep
01:15:14.260 the republican party in power so what does that mean what does that mean we heard this in 2016
01:15:22.040 we heard this in 2020 we heard this in 2024 what are they doing they are setting a trap
01:15:31.320 if they get power in the house and the senate and it's not according to me this is in fact let me
01:15:37.560 just play this this is from data republican let me see which one should i play let me play uh
01:15:42.480 sought for here this is a video posted just yesterday by data republican shows an online
01:15:48.080 meaning of the democratic constitution forum from march with uh with one member luke patrell
01:15:56.260 introducing himself as a part of the Marxist Unity Group Caucus within the DSA,
01:16:02.960 the only faction that fights for a democratic constitution.
01:16:08.420 Listen to what he says.
01:16:09.960 I'm also a member of the Democratic Socialists of America
01:16:12.800 and the Marxist Unity Group Caucus within DSA. 0.86
01:16:16.840 Muggs, the only caucus in DSA that talks about the need for a democratic constitution
01:16:24.140 and fought to get language into DSA's program that says our ultimate goal is a democratic
01:16:31.360 constitution based on universal and equal suffrage and a unicameral legislature.
01:16:37.140 The organizations behind No King's Protest are very clear that they support the constitution.
01:16:42.300 They want to protect the constitution.
01:16:44.400 So we cannot see just millions of people out there in the streets as actually some alternative.
01:16:53.460 We have to be the ones who are creating an organization that is explicitly anti-constitutional.
01:16:59.860 And I don't know if he's other.
01:17:00.940 Okay, stop for a second.
01:17:01.680 So what's he saying here?
01:17:03.000 He is for a constitution, not our constitution, unicameral.
01:17:08.880 So no House and Senate, basically like the Politburo in the former Soviet Union.
01:17:15.240 So he wants a constitution based on human rights.
01:17:20.120 Well, a lot of countries have started there.
01:17:22.580 The Soviet Union says their constitution was based on basic human rights.
01:17:29.180 I mean, China, I'm sure they say that about their constitution.
01:17:34.020 No, no, no.
01:17:34.560 When you're constitutional, it doesn't mean you're for a constitution.
01:17:37.160 It means you're for the United States Constitution.
01:17:41.180 So what they're saying and showing in this meeting with data and what the Washington Post,
01:17:46.720 and this should not come as a surprise to you if you watched our special just a couple of weeks ago,
01:17:50.960 Um, this is a global operation to unseat the constitutionally elected, uh, people in our country to unseat them, overthrow and put in a new constitution with a unicameral Congress that has, does not have the two houses and the president is selected by the, the Congress, the new Congress.
01:18:18.400 Okay? That's their goal. Now, how do they get there? Well, if you understand color revolutions, you understand that the only way a color revolution works is if you have planted the seeds of distrust, of hatred between two sides, and then you constantly say that the person in power is a dictator, is a fascist.
01:18:43.900 If you can convince enough people that that person is a fascist, then you have the power on the street and you have enough people in power.
01:18:53.300 This is why they need the House and the Senate to be able to do this, or at least the House, and maybe they can get away with some of it.
01:19:00.300 And if they have both the House and the Senate and then they have the dictator in the White House, they have all the tools they need to be able to, when the president is positioned in a way to where you've got riots in the streets everywhere, like France, what's the president supposed to do?
01:19:23.620 He's going to call out the National Guard. But these people have already talked to all of the states and they've already said, look, if he does this, this is what, what are you going to do? We recommend this because just like they said last time and the time before that, he's going to do these things. And so you need to be prepared to do this and say that's unconstitutional.
01:19:48.040 So the president would send out the National Guard to quell an uprising.
01:19:51.940 They will call that unconstitutional, and they'll say, see, it's evidence of fascism, which will just add fuel to the fire. 0.62
01:19:58.860 It is exactly what is happening in France.
01:20:01.240 Now, that hasn't happened yet in France.
01:20:04.140 They're just at the beginning of the burning down of everything.
01:20:08.920 that's going to continue as they get closer and closer to the election
01:20:13.280 because they are already saying Marine Le Pen is a fascist.
01:20:18.820 Why? Because she said, we will have rule of law. 0.98
01:20:22.760 Now, I don't know about you, but I'm for rule of law.
01:20:25.300 I'm for a fair vote.
01:20:27.580 It's why I was for the SAVE Act.
01:20:30.080 I'm for one vote for each person counted fairly.
01:20:33.900 If you're dead, you don't vote.
01:20:35.740 If you're not a citizen, you don't vote.
01:20:37.620 But I don't care if I lose if that's the system.
01:20:45.700 This is a setup that is happening right now.
01:20:48.740 And this is why we have to be really well aware and understand they are going to do everything they can to push every button inside of you.
01:20:58.980 They're going to try to get you angry any possible way.
01:21:03.920 Do not respond that way.
01:21:07.620 Do not go the way—that's what they—you've known this.
01:21:11.980 They have been wanting you to respond violently forever.
01:21:15.800 Don't do it.
01:21:19.980 Because they are setting you up for a color revolution.
01:21:24.180 And it's all being exposed right now in real time.
01:21:29.120 More in just a second.

01:22:48.380 it feels like every conversation about weight loss eventually turns to injections these days i mean
01:23:05.720 you probably heard about all that by now there are a lot of commercials pretty much running around
01:23:09.300 the clock uh these results can be dramatic uh but for a lot of people you know giving themselves a
01:23:14.280 shot every week is suboptimal, you know, along with the potential side effects. It's not something
01:23:19.300 that's really appealing to a lot of people. It's one thing, of course, people do want to lose
01:23:23.640 weight. But, you know, do you really want to go that far? Do you really want to use that? Do you
01:23:28.620 want to stick a needle in yourself to make that happen? Some people love that. Some people are 0.83
01:23:32.760 real needle fiends, but most aren't, I would say. So the real question comes to you when you say,
01:23:38.960 like, well, how if I want to keep losing weight, if I want to start losing weight, if I want to
01:23:42.780 maintain weight loss would i take a different approach and that's where lean comes in lean is

01:24:40.180 Um, on the Bubba Act, I, you know, I think I might want to revisit this later on tomorrow's
01:24:47.900 program because I'm just reading the preamble to the declaration and it spells it all out.
01:24:54.380 It tells you why the Bubba Act, I believe is wrong. Um, and you're like, that doesn't say
01:25:01.020 the Bubba. I know, I know. But, uh, let me take you through that maybe on tomorrow's program
01:25:07.500 Coming up in just a minute, I'm going to tell you about the economy of France.
01:25:12.100 We have Carol Roth.
01:25:13.760 They made their decision yesterday to not cut their budget.
01:25:18.060 That's what the European Central Bank was demanding that France would have to do to be able to be a member in good standing.
01:25:27.220 Now the bank has a decision to make.
01:25:29.680 Do we do we punish them or do we let it slide and then set that example for Italy and Spain and everybody else that is going through the same problems?
01:25:41.260 What does all of this mean for you at your dinner table?
01:25:44.480 Carol Roth joins me next.

01:27:10.940 The fusion of entertainment, enlightenment, and
01:27:40.380 Empowerment. This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:27:48.300 Hello, America. Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program. We've been talking about France over the last few
01:27:54.180 days and what is possibly coming our way. What can we learn from France? Because this is really
01:28:01.700 well-coordinated. This is about politics. Yes, it is based in financial problems. People are
01:28:08.500 feeling real problems over in France, but the timing of this is all about their politics and
01:28:15.540 their elections. And it is coming to country after country after country because we're all
01:28:21.140 kind of in the same boat. Carol Roth is here to explain this to us. So we will be prepared and we
01:28:26.460 will know what we can do and how we can prepare, you know, should these things start to happen to
01:28:31.800 us. What is causing the real problem in France? It's been going on for a long time. What's the
01:28:37.200 latest carol roth joins us in 60 seconds first imagine going to a restaurant and ordering dinner
01:28:42.120 and spending you know eight hours eating it then walking out complaining you're still hungry
01:28:46.380 you'd find a different restaurant right you spend eight hours in there you're still hungry
01:28:51.140 people do the equivalent of that every single night you go to bed seven eight hours you try
01:28:56.400 to sleep you wake up you feel like you need another seven or eight hours just to recover
01:29:00.340 you know and then you do it over and over again there are reasons people don't sleep well but one
01:29:06.140 of the easiest things to address is what you're actually sleeping on and that's where ghost bed

01:29:50.100 How are you? I am. I'm good, boy. I have to tell you, I was watching what was happening in France
01:29:54.500 this weekend, just freaking out because I'm like, this is a dry run. This is coming here.
01:30:01.060 If we're not careful, this is coming here.
01:30:03.800 So can you give us an update?
01:30:05.660 Yesterday, I said that the French were supposed to vote on their new budget.
01:30:13.380 They decided yesterday to postpone that.
01:30:17.000 What does that mean?
01:30:18.600 Because I thought they were out of time.
01:30:21.480 Well, you know, politicians are never out of time until you vote them out of office.
01:30:26.860 And obviously, they would never want to do the right thing, because it often conflicts with them having some accountability. They don't want to have accountability, they want to kick that accountability down the road. But what we're seeing in in France is, you know, the non economic version of this is weak men create hard times.
01:30:47.380 The economic version is too much government creates too much debt, creates hard times, and then they're not willing to do anything until everything collapses.
01:30:57.140 So I saw an amazing stat, maybe you can tell me if this is true, that more than half of the population of France gets their income from the government.
01:31:09.960 Yeah, this is exactly the problem that France, which by the way, is a meaningful economy in the EU.
01:31:17.220 It's the second largest. It's $3.5 trillion, which sounds like nothing to us, right? It's
01:31:22.320 like 10% of our size. But when you compare it to Greece, that's like $300 billion. So within
01:31:27.320 the Eurozone, they're very important. But the breakdown of what's happened there is that they
01:31:32.680 have too little capitalism. And they do have some great companies, right? They've got the luxury
01:31:36.740 goods. They've got agriculture. Airbus?
01:31:40.280 Yeah, Airbus. They had tourism. I don't know how that's going to be impacted now. But the reality
01:31:45.580 is, and this is staggering, Glenn, that 57% of their economy, so almost 60% of their economy
01:31:53.880 comes from public spending. Compare that to the U.S. So at the federal level, we're at about 23%,
01:32:02.580 which is too much, you know, overall about 35 plus percent. So, you know, they're about 50%
01:32:10.240 or more more public spending as a percentage of their economy than we are. And as you said,
01:32:16.340 that then trickles down to meaning more than half the people get their their pay from the
01:32:22.200 government. Everybody works for the government there. And that means that politicians, as you
01:32:27.680 mentioned, they're beholden to the people who don't want the government to have any sort of
01:32:33.420 austerity or cutbacks. And so they're going to vote for their own interest. And so it ends up
01:32:39.180 being this vicious cycle, which has led to really bad outcomes.
01:32:43.900 If you look at France and just their basic data, we're talking about growth this year
01:32:48.440 that's projected at about half a percent, which is even for the eurozone is less than
01:32:53.820 half what everybody else is projecting.
01:32:56.280 Their unemployment is double ours.
01:32:58.280 So even with everybody working for the government, it's about 8.3 to 8.4 percent for the year.
01:33:03.820 And then they still have the same problems that we do, like debt to GDP of 120% and deficits running like 5.5% of GDP. The problem is they're not the world's reserve currency and the world's trading currency. So it hits them harder. And they have all of these demographics. They have an aging population with bigger pensions and all of these big issues.
01:33:29.460 the aging population drives more healthcare spending and whatnot. So they're in kind of
01:33:34.120 the same familiar spot that we're in, but they don't have all of the benefits that we have as
01:33:40.880 well. So Rob Snyder tweeted something. I want to read it to you. France has free healthcare,
01:33:47.260 paid parental leave, paid family leave, free childcare, free preschool, five weeks paid
01:33:54.580 vacation 35-hour work week generous unemployment and housing benefits heavily subsidized higher 0.86
01:34:01.400 education everything the left says they want and they're still protesting and burning crap down
01:34:07.020 yes i mean it's how do you get out of that because the ecb the european central bank said
01:34:15.200 they have to cut their spending or uh they're in trouble they'll they'll start imposing cuts
01:34:22.560 on them well if you can't cut two percent out of your budget uh what without people rioting in the
01:34:32.080 streets and rioting for even more how how do you save that country yeah i mean it's a really big
01:34:39.760 issue you know i referenced greece earlier you know greece had the economic issues you know back
01:34:44.900 in 2010 2011 and they were able to stem that because it was a smaller country it wasn't as
01:34:52.540 sort of important to the EU. Not to say it's not important, but not as important as France is at
01:34:58.260 $3.5 trillion now of GDP. So you would need to have their central bank, which is the ECB,
01:35:05.460 get involved if there is some sort of a contagion. And a contagion is likely because the analogy is
01:35:13.140 imagine the Eurozone is an office building and the second biggest tenant is in financial trouble,
01:35:19.480 where you're an investor. Now, all of a sudden, the entire office building project is in financial
01:35:25.000 trouble. So that's the same issue with the EU. The problem, as you mentioned, is with the ECB,
01:35:30.980 if they do a bailout, which we know is printing money and stoking inflation,
01:35:36.180 they require austerity. They require budget cuts. And as we have seen, whether or not you want to
01:35:43.980 say these particular riots were related to financial or some other issue. But we do know
01:35:50.140 in the past that anytime there has been talk of a little bit of austerity, there has been
01:35:55.860 riots and destruction. And, you know, referencing Rob's post, they have everything. You have the
01:36:03.220 government, you know, spending, you know, the majority of the money of the GDP on these programs,
01:36:09.620 and they're still not happy there is no saving this it's just a question of when the whole thing
01:36:16.140 implodes so the scary thing is correct me if i'm wrong italy is worse than france i think they're
01:36:23.020 number one in debt or is it greece is now greece is number one in debt i thought greece was taken
01:36:28.600 care of but apparently that was just a band-aid so greece is still bad spain is bad italy is bad
01:36:35.720 how long does this go on you know i'm going to say something shocking to you glenn but the u.s
01:36:44.280 is bad the u.s has 123 percent of debt to gdp and is running you know close to six percent deficits
01:36:52.540 to gdp still it is spending a trillion dollars a year on interest in servicing the debt and there's 0.97
01:36:58.560 no um you know no hope for fixing that and you have all of these dsa people running on these
01:37:04.980 same platforms that we're talking about now about, hey, let's find a way to increase government
01:37:09.520 spending. So, I mean, part of, you know, what may or may not give you comfort is that everybody,
01:37:15.820 you know, around the world is in the same position. We have more strengths because we
01:37:20.840 have deeper financial markets. What does that mean, Carol? I mean, we, yes, we're all in the
01:37:25.500 same. So do we all just back away and say, okay, all right, we're just going to call it all even.
01:37:31.140 I mean, what does it mean?
01:37:32.280 I mean, so that's sort of a layman's way of saying what could potentially happen here
01:37:38.540 is that you could end up with some sort of a financial reset, which I know is not a surprise
01:37:45.720 to you because we've been talking about this.
01:37:47.660 You've been writing books about this.
01:37:49.120 I've been talking about writing books about this.
01:37:51.380 So there is a very likely financial reset.
01:37:55.140 It's a question, I think, of when, not if.
01:37:58.560 And then we're going to find a way, you know, whether it's making gold play a bigger role in the economy so that the reset isn't so obvious or finding other ways to inflate away the debt.
01:38:12.860 There's going to be a scenario and a lot of people are going to be hurt in this scenario because, as we know, there's no free lunch.
01:38:20.600 We can't just call a mulligan, a do over without there being consequences.
01:38:26.400 And that's going to end up hurting people all over the world.
01:38:30.300 And as we know, when these things happen, it's not just France that could have unrest.
01:38:36.180 It could spread to other places very easily.
01:38:39.300 And then, you know, that could end up impacting bigger issues.
01:38:43.780 It could end up creating issues that impact the food supply or energy or other things.
01:38:48.200 And it just becomes a, you know, sort of a vicious cycle.
01:38:51.480 So when you said maybe gold plays a higher role, I mean, even if gold was at $10,000 an ounce, that's still what we have, what, $3 or $4 trillion?
01:39:01.240 That doesn't even pay for one year.
01:39:03.340 Using all of the gold that we have.
01:39:06.360 So what do you mean gold might play a bigger role?
01:39:09.300 I mean, how do you see this playing?
01:39:11.520 And if you haven't, you know, war gamed with this.
01:39:15.140 Oh, no, we've war gamed.
01:39:18.200 So we've read we've read the issues.
01:39:21.140 So what's the most likely and what does that look like?
01:39:25.480 I mean, I personally think if you look at the banks that have been stockpiling gold and if you look at some of the stockpiles, you know, Europe actually is doing very well when it comes to gold holdings, including Italy.
01:39:39.820 which, you know, had a former ECB director as its president that said, we love gold and,
01:39:47.060 you know, we're never getting rid of it. I think that it will end up being, you know, one of, if
01:39:53.860 not, you know, a key reserve currency. You may see some trade and settlement done in gold. Like
01:40:01.520 you said, the price of gold will have to be allowed to go significantly upward to sort of
01:40:08.320 rebalance everything out. And what will probably happen is that the different countries will get
01:40:14.920 together as they've done many times in the past and create some sort of an accordant agreement.
01:40:20.720 And this is how, you know, this is going to work. And here's, you know, who's going to be in charge
01:40:25.140 of what the exact path of that could take. You know, we can have a choose your own adventure
01:40:30.840 book and have, you know, 20 different lanes, but there will probably have to be a sit down.
01:40:35.480 The other option, which we certainly hope doesn't happen, is war, because a lot of times when we have these financial resets, you know, every time we have a war, we don't have a financial reset.
01:40:47.240 But every time we've had a major financial reset, not just a, you know, a court, war has been the catalyst.
01:40:53.820 And then it's like, oh, OK, well, now we've got a new regime.
01:40:56.640 So hopefully, you know, if you're picking a door, let's make a deal that you're picking door number one and you're getting a sit down and they're letting, you know, gold float to an appropriate price and you're doing something to try to get everything under control.
01:41:10.880 The challenge is, though, without people facing the consequences and without getting the muck out of the system, it's just a bandaid, right?
01:41:21.120 If you don't fix the underlying problem, which is the too much government spending, the big government debt piles, you just end up in the same place in a very short period of time.
01:41:33.500 And especially at the levels we're at now with compounding, that's just going to grow and grow more quickly.
01:41:40.880 So, you know, you can let you can come up with all of these small fixes that we pay the price for on a short term basis.
01:41:49.260 But without fixing the underlying problem, nothing changes.
01:41:53.420 And in my opinion, Glenn, without some sort of accountability, I don't know what the incentive is for the politicians to fix the problem.
01:42:01.280 OK, so I'm going to take a one minute break. I want you to just pick it up there.
01:42:04.880 What does that look like? Accountability for who? What does it look like?
01:42:09.420 What would actually have to happen?
01:42:11.980 And the little guy.
01:42:13.520 I mean, what happens to the little guy?
01:42:15.380 The little guy doesn't have a lot of gold.
01:42:16.940 And last time they did this with gold, they took all the gold away from all the little guys.
01:42:22.360 I'd love to address that as well.
01:42:24.640 When we come back more with Carol Roth, get her a free newsletter at carolroth.com.
01:42:28.780 If you're not reading Carol's work, you're really missing out on understanding the world, especially the world of finances.
01:42:34.600 Now, living long enough, you will see that the world forgets that you spent your entire life hoping that it would remember the things that are important.
01:42:52.180 But the reality is that we forget things over and over and over again.
01:42:56.720 And elderly Jewish people of today, they've lived long enough, and they were hoping that the world would remember and not forget.
01:43:02.660 And they have forgotten.
01:43:04.220 They've survived a holocaust.
01:43:05.560 They know what happens when anti-Semitism is allowed to grow,
01:43:08.800 when neighbors turn against neighbors,
01:43:10.440 when the world decides Jewish lives don't matter,
01:43:12.760 and then it's everybody's life doesn't matter.
01:43:15.320 They're watching anti-Semitism rise again,
01:43:17.740 and some are living in poverty, some are living alone,
01:43:19.900 and some are struggling just to put food on the table.
01:43:22.380 And that is where the work of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews comes in,
01:43:26.180 and it's so important.
01:43:27.620 The fellowship provides critical food and other essential assistance to the vulnerable.
01:43:32.740 The Jewish people, including the elderly, survivors of the Holocaust.
01:43:36.260 But there's also something else that matters just as much as food,
01:43:38.760 and that is the knowledge that they haven't been forgotten.
01:43:41.820 That even in a world where hatred is growing,
01:43:44.120 there are still people who will answer with love.
01:43:47.860 That's what I want people to know.
01:43:49.940 I want the Jewish people to know they're not alone
01:43:52.120 and that we will not turn our backs on them.
01:43:54.540 It's different this time, and this time we mean it.
01:43:57.760 Join FOF. JoinFOF.org.
01:44:01.340 That's the website, joinfof.org.
01:44:05.060 10 seconds, Station ID.
01:44:18.320 So what does it mean, real accountability?
01:44:22.300 So real accountability would mean that there are consequences when people take actions.
01:44:28.080 I actually wrote a piece about this a few weeks ago, that if you think about boards of directors or you think about trusts, people who have to manage on behalf of other people, there is a legal fiduciary responsibility that is upheld by the courts that you have to put the people who you are representing's interests ahead of your own.
01:44:52.720 You cannot be conflicted.
01:44:54.700 And if you don't, you are taken to court.
01:44:57.500 So why is it, Glenn, that if you have a publicly traded company and you have a board member or a set of board members that does not pursue their fiduciary duty, they're conflicted, that they don't act in the best interest in who they represent, or you have a trust where the trustee doesn't, why is it that the United States government, the people who represent us in Congress, do not have a fiduciary duty?
01:45:23.840 And do not tell me about an oath of office, because that is not something that is upheld
01:45:29.560 in court and has any corresponding responsibility.
01:45:33.440 So I am certainly not a lawyer, and I don't know how you get that instated without the
01:45:38.440 people who are creating the roadblocks blocking it.
01:45:42.360 But the reality is, it just fundamentally makes no sense that you have the people who
01:45:48.240 represent others on a private level in fiduciary matters and financial matters have this
01:45:53.740 fiduciary duty and our Congress doesn't. If we had any level of accountability or even just some
01:46:00.740 guardrails like, hey, if you don't balance the budget, then you are ineligible to ever be in
01:46:07.100 Congress again. Things like that, where they actually have to think about what it is they're
01:46:13.220 doing other than how can I turn this around and lie about this and do something or not do something
01:46:21.340 just so that I can get reelected and retain power?
01:46:24.780 You know, that is the $41 trillion and growing question.
01:46:29.720 Yeah, I would love to see their salary
01:46:32.160 based on what the average salary is doing
01:46:35.320 and how the economy is doing.
01:46:37.500 You know, I know they don't run the economy,
01:46:39.420 but they would certainly know how to get out of the way
01:46:42.420 of the economy if they realized
01:46:44.900 every regulation we put is hurting the economy
01:46:48.400 and that hurts my own paycheck.
01:46:50.780 You know, I would love to see some conversation, at least, of accountability.
01:46:56.540 When you said that maybe gold goes up, gold goes up to what?
01:47:01.220 And does anyone, I mean, does anyone participate in that?
01:47:05.640 Or do the federal governments and central banks just claim gold is theirs again?
01:47:11.060 You know, I think that we live, let's put it this way.
01:47:14.540 There's a think and there's a possibility.
01:47:18.300 I think we live in a world right now with social media, with the ability to cause unrest, that if for some reason they tried to confiscate gold again, I think it would be very difficult.
01:47:34.000 Now, to be fair, I also said I thought it would be very difficult to lock down the United States.
01:47:38.960 I did too.
01:47:39.920 But the people who did not comply are not going to comply.
01:47:45.040 I'm not telling you to break the law if that does happen.
01:47:48.060 And I'm just saying my guess is that the people who didn't comply aren't going to turn over the gold.
01:47:53.200 So when you have, you know, the gold that we have, and it's only really worth $3 trillion if you inflate the price of gold up to $10,000, how much would the price of gold have to be to be able to solve these kinds of problems?
01:48:06.480 The estimate is 40, and I'm not saying that I think it's going to necessarily go there.
01:48:12.500 I think that 10 is a much more likely number in at least the next five to 10 years than 40.

01:50:00.960 All right, welcome back to the program.
01:50:19.520 I am thrilled to have one of my dear, dear friends on, one of my favorite writers.
01:50:24.900 There's, he is a guy who has, he started with a Christmas box and that is a story that he wrote years and years ago.
01:50:35.740 Couldn't get a publisher.
01:50:36.720 Nobody was interested in it.
01:50:38.380 No, no, no.
01:50:39.420 This is a, you know, not going to, and so he published, he didn't publish it.
01:50:43.020 He, he made a Xerox copy of it, if I remember the story right, and he gave it to a friend and that friend copied it and gave it to another friend.
01:50:50.180 And all of a sudden, it was spreading everywhere, and people were coming into the bookstores going, hey, can I get a copy of the Christmas box?
01:50:58.880 And they were like, I don't even know what you're talking about.
01:51:01.160 And so the word got all the way up to New York, and Simon & Schuster were like, what is this Christmas box thing?
01:51:06.760 And Simon & Schuster approached him and was like, we'd like to publish, and it sold millions and millions of copies.
01:51:11.520 And he took a lot of that money and just started a children's charity.
01:51:16.700 And he's now working on his 49th novel, just released.
01:51:22.580 I think it's his first based on a true story.
01:51:26.820 And if you love history, this one is a great, great story on history and has everybody.
01:51:33.380 I mean, has everybody in it, from Emerson to P.T. Barnum and everybody else.
01:51:37.900 And a story I've never heard.
01:51:39.940 I'm going to let him tell the story.
01:51:41.360 The name of the book is Mercy's Child, and the author is my dear friend, Richard Paul Evans.
01:51:47.360 Hello, Richard.
01:51:48.720 Good morning, Glenn.
01:51:49.560 It's good to see you.
01:51:50.380 Good to see you.
01:51:51.420 Okay, so I just started reading it.
01:51:53.760 It releases today, and this is the story of a woman, if I'm not mistaken, she's upstate New York.
01:52:01.440 She lives on a farm.
01:52:02.560 It's the Gilded Age.
01:52:04.260 She moves down to New York.
01:52:06.320 She wants to get involved, and she finds herself in Hell's Kitchen, New York.
01:52:11.360 which is the worst of the worst.
01:52:14.760 Hell's Kitchen.
01:52:16.240 Can you imagine?
01:52:17.160 Oh, my gosh.
01:52:17.840 In the 1800s was.
01:52:19.580 I mean, I have read stories where windows would be open,
01:52:23.880 and there would be a cop on the corner,
01:52:25.720 and the cop would be hearing from two different windows,
01:52:29.140 rape, rape, and they wouldn't do anything
01:52:32.180 because there was nothing they could do. 0.97
01:52:33.780 It was that out of control.
01:52:36.200 So that's the setting.
01:52:37.680 It was dangerous.
01:52:38.420 Yeah, really dangerous.
01:52:40.060 And what does she find there?
01:52:42.220 Well, what she finds is a child.
01:52:45.140 And so what I love, I love the way you set it up, Glenn, because this is just a woman.
01:52:50.040 She's a simple farm gal, right?
01:52:52.500 And all of a sudden, her husband gets a job as a reporter.
01:52:55.220 She ends up in Hell's Kitchen.
01:52:57.100 She enrolls as a missionary.
01:52:58.580 She wants to do something with her life.
01:53:00.700 And while she's in the tenement, she hears a child screaming.
01:53:03.820 And the people in the tenement tell her that the child has been beaten and tortured every day.
01:53:11.320 And what I love about the story is that this is the Gilded Age.
01:53:14.840 This is the time of, you know, right after Boss Tweed,
01:53:18.000 there's so much corruption and money.
01:53:20.440 And that this woman, with her love, she just won't give up.
01:53:25.540 And it's the story of triumph, how love conquers this powerful force
01:53:30.140 as she goes to save a child.
01:53:32.820 And this is the part I love.
01:53:35.120 she says at one point a a child a dog has more rights than a child has and or her friend says
01:53:47.120 it to her and she's her sister her sister says yeah and uh and she's like wait a minute and so
01:53:53.420 who does she contact well she goes to okay this was so cool about this is because if i wrote it
01:53:58.380 as a fiction you wouldn't believe it you would never believe it no right so what she does she
01:54:02.800 goes to henry berg this really he's a really famous man he's in the newspaper all the time
01:54:07.240 he's an eccentric millionaire who started the aspca the society for the prevention of cruelty
01:54:13.240 to animals and she goes i have an animal we need to protect he's like oh where where where and he
01:54:18.340 goes well actually it's a little girl and he at first she says no and he goes she goes doesn't
01:54:23.780 she have the same rights as a dog and he decides that he'll take it on and it became um few people
01:54:30.820 know this but it became the biggest case in america newspapers from coast to coast are covering this
01:54:36.020 and it's like what's going to happen to this girl so because at the time you didn't have her i mean
01:54:43.460 beatings torture you didn't have a right the government had nobody had the right to go in
01:54:49.960 and say hey stop torturing your child right right the police said if she's killed then you can come
01:54:56.220 tell us because then we have a murder case that's incredible how did you find this story
01:55:02.860 well i found it years ago in fact this is cool i mentioned it in two of my books i remember it was
01:55:09.420 one of your books of the month grace and i mentioned this story just went online and found
01:55:13.400 it and i was working with some um some famed um screenwriters they wanted to do a movie on one of
01:55:21.500 my books. And he goes, what about this story? He goes, this is Oscar material. No one knows about
01:55:27.380 this woman who changed America. And at first I said, you know, writing historical fiction,
01:55:32.780 it would take years. And then all of a sudden my heart was changed and I jumped in it.
01:55:38.700 And it is so much fun. It's a great escape. It's a story of triumph. You know, this woman,
01:55:45.420 not driven by by ambition or anger she she comes with love and follows god and she she's able to
01:55:55.460 change the world and so the laws we have today are in part because of this woman and very few
01:56:00.600 people know who she is it's uh it's a remarkable thing in that time period did you see cabrini
01:56:07.300 by not yet oh you've got to see it yeah you gotta see it it's the same time period and uh the same
01:56:15.520 kind of situation in many ways um and you know people don't understand you know they say wow
01:56:21.260 the things have never been worse here oh yes oh yes they have you know uh we've never been
01:56:29.360 had such unequaled wealth yes we have the gilded age and new york it's astonishing how that was
01:56:38.980 the asters the rockefellers all these people are in the book and it's like really like emerson was
01:56:44.900 behind it um berg is in a fight with pt barnum to sell the papers um but there's a scene in the
01:56:51.160 book i really love she goes out as a missionary into hell's kitchen and her companion says look 0.81
01:56:56.280 we're here because we have the cross on and we do we help them otherwise they would probably rape us
01:57:01.880 or and she runs into a one of the irish gangs and they're throwing rocks at a cat and she scolds
01:57:08.680 them she tries to stop them and she realizes this is not something you should do and her companion
01:57:14.280 is like no you don't you don't get involved and that sets up so when she sees the child it's like
01:57:19.420 don't get involved you could do more damage than good and she can't do it she's not willing to
01:57:25.080 turn away from someone who really needs help. So, Richard, if anybody reads your books,
01:57:31.080 it's always about a vulnerable child. There's always a vulnerable child in it.
01:57:36.240 And is that, because I remember you were on my show on CNN years ago, and you said something
01:57:43.480 no other guest has ever said to me. And I looked at you and I was like, hi, he's not joking.
01:57:52.060 You said, I have an uncontrollable urge to spit in your face right now.
01:57:58.140 Do you remember saying that to me?
01:58:00.220 Yeah, I do, actually. 0.92
01:58:01.620 I have an uncontrollable urge to spit in your face like now.
01:58:05.280 Give context, Glenn. 0.71
01:58:06.680 Give context.
01:58:07.060 No, I know.
01:58:07.700 I will.
01:58:08.180 I will.
01:58:08.480 But this was a time with the Occupy Wall Street, and I'm like, well, stand in line on that one.
01:58:14.180 But the reason why you said that is because you have Tourette's.
01:58:19.720 Yeah, you probably know.
01:58:20.820 I have Tourette's syndrome.
01:58:22.920 And I mean, I had this urge.
01:58:25.580 I need to touch sharp things.
01:58:26.940 So I was diagnosed.
01:58:27.720 I had seven sharp things in my pocket.
01:58:30.120 And I have this urge to spit in the face of famous people.
01:58:34.160 I was in the office.
01:58:35.200 I was in the Oval Office with Bill Clinton.
01:58:38.200 And I literally had to bite my tongue and turn away.
01:58:41.220 And my wife saw what was going on.
01:58:42.640 And Carrie, she stepped up and talked to the president.
01:58:45.340 And it was like, because you never want to spit in the president's face, no matter what
01:58:47.940 on your problem.
01:58:50.820 Well, some of them maybe, but rule of thumb, good rule of thumb.
01:58:56.200 Don't spit in the president's face.
01:58:58.000 They've got big guys standing next to them.
01:59:00.240 Yeah.
01:59:00.560 So is that what attracts you to this story?
01:59:04.440 Is that what attracts you to these kinds of stories?
01:59:07.740 You know, I grew up loving superheroes, you know, Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Beast,
01:59:13.420 and, you know, someone standing up for what's right against huge odds.
01:59:18.400 I think that is so much fun.
01:59:19.760 I love stories of redemption.
01:59:21.000 I love hero stories.
01:59:23.120 And what I love about Etta Wheeler is that she was just, she was all of us.
01:59:27.180 I mean, she was a simple farm girl who just refused to take no for an answer.
01:59:32.720 You know, she just, her love was so great.
01:59:35.320 And what happened, eventually everyone came on board.
01:59:38.980 I think that's the problem with our hero stories today.
01:59:42.340 We have gotten rid of all of our heroes and we've gone to superheroes.
01:59:47.100 And superheroes don't teach us anything.
01:59:49.760 They don't teach us anything because they're not us.
01:59:52.720 You know, that's the key to Jesus.
01:59:54.420 We are very much like, we are not him, but very much like him.
01:59:58.180 He was perfect.
01:59:59.540 We're not.
02:00:00.740 But, you know, he struggled.
02:00:03.120 He struggled.
02:00:03.860 Every hero in the Bible was us.
02:00:06.680 I mean, not Tourette's, but, you know, Stutterer with Moses, every single one of them had an issue.
02:00:14.540 And so we can relate to them.
02:00:16.920 Superheroes, you can't.
02:00:18.040 And I think we live in a time, Richard, where people forget that it's the ordinary person, usually.
02:00:27.840 It's not the Elon Musks of the world.
02:00:30.940 It's the ordinary person of the world that does even just one thing in their life that changes lives.
02:00:38.820 And it changes everything.
02:00:41.300 I agree.
02:00:42.300 With one exception, that is Michael Bay.
02:00:45.180 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:00:46.260 Or Michael Bedlitz.
02:00:47.040 But you know why kids like the Michael Bay series I wrote is because he's a normal kid with insecurities.
02:00:53.640 And, you know, that's this woman is she is all of us.
02:00:57.900 She's like she she has her doubts.
02:00:59.440 She's afraid.
02:01:01.480 And, you know, she's like walking into a dangerous place.
02:01:04.500 It's like she's like this Daniel in the lion's den.
02:01:06.800 Right.
02:01:07.040 I mean, she's she's in such a scary place.
02:01:10.440 And it's like, no, I'm not.
02:01:13.680 You know, if not me, who?
02:01:14.680 you know there's a child in here and and she's clever about how she gets in to see the child
02:01:21.200 and you can actually go online and see the child this is again this is based on a real story most
02:01:26.920 of it's true you know what happened to the child would they grow up to do anything or just oh yes
02:01:31.660 she did in fact the book starts with that um she in fact what i love her name is mary ellen wilson
02:01:36.680 she had the big scar down her face where her mother cut her with scissors she had two daughters
02:01:41.640 who are both school teachers and you know she walks out she goes i've had two i have two saviors
02:01:46.920 in my life one is in heaven when one is right in front of me and she said i had a really good life
02:01:54.280 and i love that because he went before she died she said i had a really beautiful life
02:01:59.720 and she had the worst possible life you can imagine it's because of one woman's love and her
02:02:05.000 that she would not say no richard paul evans if you haven't read the michael vey series you need
02:02:10.760 to it's a it's a it's it is the best uh young adult series that i have ever read um it teaches
02:02:19.720 the values that we're all trying to teach our kids um rafe and i we would read every summer
02:02:25.280 you would come out what were they eight were there eight in the series 10 10 series so for 10 years
02:02:31.640 rafe and i every summer would read the new michael vay and he could not wait for that thing to come
02:02:38.120 And we just love them.
02:02:40.340 Just love them.
02:02:41.460 And they're available wherever you get your books.
02:02:43.380 This one is his first one, and it is his first one based on a true story, Mercy's Child.
02:02:51.440 And it's by Richard Paul Evans.
02:02:53.480 Richard, it's always good to have you on.
02:02:55.000 Thank you so much.
02:02:55.800 Mercy's Child.
02:02:57.120 God bless you.
02:02:57.920 It's out today.
02:02:58.640 Get it wherever your books are sold.
02:03:00.200 Mercy's Child.
02:03:00.980 Okay, let me tell you about chapter.
02:03:02.660 America has decided that the best way to make something simple
02:03:05.340 was to give everybody 400 different options.
02:03:07.620 You know, you want to buy a toothbrush?
02:03:09.520 There's an entire aisle.
02:03:11.460 You want to order a cup of coffee?
02:03:12.720 You need to learn a new language.
02:03:14.620 Say you want to figure out a Medicare plan that's right for your parents.
02:03:18.180 Good luck.
02:03:19.060 Good luck with that.
02:03:20.000 Because there are all kinds of plans with different benefits and costs and coverage.
02:03:24.260 And making the wrong choice is going to cost them huge money.
02:03:28.380 Licensed Medicare advisors compare options from across the market from chapter.
02:03:32.760 They are not paid to push you towards one particular plan.
02:03:36.580 That's what sets them apart, makes them unique.
02:03:39.660 Now, enrollment, open enrollment is underway, and demand for chapters advisors has been incredibly higher.
02:03:44.800 I think they've doubled their staff this year, and it's still not enough.
02:03:48.220 These guys are so good.
02:03:49.180 I'm telling you, I just got a note from my sister last night.
02:03:52.200 I have to look that back up.
02:03:53.200 She said, I just talked to the chapter last night.
02:03:55.740 It's her first year on Medicare, and she's like, these people were so fantastic.
02:04:01.480 You could call in November.
02:04:04.540 Wait times are going to be a little bit shorter.
02:04:06.140 You'll still get coverage that begins January 1st.
02:04:08.420 You can call early in the morning or late at night and not have to wait.
02:04:12.080 Or just be patient with it.
02:04:14.260 Call is free.
02:04:15.360 It takes about 20 minutes, but it's well worth doing.
02:04:18.560 Dial pound 250.
02:04:19.600 Say the keyword chapter.
02:04:20.620 That's pound 250, keyword chapter.
02:04:22.380 Act now before you're left overpaying for the wrong coverage for another year.
02:04:27.180 Pound 250, keyword chapter.
02:04:29.680 Common sense is a fleeting quality in media, but around here, it's standard practice.
02:04:36.480 Hang tight.
02:04:37.500 Glenn Beck returns next.
02:04:52.380 uh I want to tell you I have to tell you I have to tell you by the way Jason I'm sorry I'll get
02:05:10.400 this out of my mind otherwise it'll drive me nuts cult of reason is what they were what they called
02:05:15.020 it in France Robespierre cult of reason that's right that's right um okay so sorry we're having
02:05:21.340 like so many different conversations today.
02:05:25.860 I want to talk about capitalism done right.
02:05:29.280 And I think this is the way,
02:05:31.600 this is the answer to the cancer of communism.
02:05:36.580 I want you to watch a movie called Brunello.
02:05:39.780 Brunello.
02:05:40.660 And it's about a guy named Brunello Cuccinelli.
02:05:43.120 And he is a clothing designer,
02:05:44.700 but he is,
02:05:45.420 I think the guy's actually going to be sainted at some point.
02:05:48.240 This guy is absolutely amazing.
02:05:49.660 One of the best capitalists I've ever seen, and then what he does with the wealth that he makes and how he treats his employees globally, I mean, thousands and thousands of employees, is remarkable to me.
02:06:06.420 And he calls it, I think, gracious capitalism.
02:06:10.140 And it's the way we should be.
02:06:12.180 It's the way we should be looking at capitalism.
02:06:15.180 Elon Musk is another great example of this.
02:06:17.420 He just gave away, I want to get this right, yeah, $10.7 billion.
02:06:25.340 $10.7 billion.
02:06:31.400 He is giving it to the Trump funds.
02:06:36.760 So he's giving it to the children who have a Trump account right now.
02:06:42.280 And people are yelling, well, you should have just given it to the federal government.
02:06:45.880 Why?
02:06:46.780 Why?
02:06:47.420 Why? So they can waste it, so they can do a color revolution someplace else? 1.00
02:06:51.740 This one, he's putting his stock into the Trump funds.
02:06:55.740 And you've had several people, what's the guy's name, is it Michael Dell from Dell, doing the same thing?
02:07:02.120 You have all of these great capitalists giving huge amounts of money.
02:07:07.780 That's gracious capitalism.
02:07:10.660 That is the free market at its best.
02:07:13.740 And thank you, Elon Musk.
02:07:16.500 I think this is a remarkably generous thing to do.
02:07:20.300 You didn't have to do it, and you did.
02:07:23.800 And I think we should point these people out, thank them for that,
02:07:28.140 and try to model it in our own lives at whatever level you're in.
