00:00:30.000 Well, on today's podcast, Stu is very upset with this program because it took 40 minutes to get to, you know, dunking on Andrew Cuomo's choke job in the New York City mayoral race. 0.98

00:00:41.880 And we have to point out what a pathetic loser that guy is, huh? 0.96

00:00:46.720 But also a warning on the new guy. 0.98

00:00:49.960 Now, something new is also coming in 2026.

00:00:52.440 New for me, hopefully new for you.

00:00:53.860 A new way to view and learn history and the news.

00:00:57.540 And I'll have much more information on that as we get closer to the launch.

00:01:00.340 But some vital information on today's podcast.

00:01:03.660 Also, a guest who ended up taking half the show.

00:01:06.920 I had her scheduled for about 10 minutes.

00:01:08.420 Her name is Yasmin Mohamed.

00:01:09.800 And she has the most compelling story of childhood.

00:01:14.280 And because of that, she has a great warning to the Western world that you need to hear.

00:01:20.880 And that leads us right into tonight's TV special, tonight on Blaze TV and tomorrow available Thursday on YouTube.com slash Glenn.

00:01:30.260 My Wednesday night special on what is coming to the Western world.

00:01:36.660 Hmm.

00:01:37.400 Actually, it's already here.

00:01:39.300 All in today's podcast.

00:01:40.800 First, let me tell you this.

00:01:43.300 The story of America is written in the hands of the people who grow things, who raise, harvest, and work the land. 0.94

00:01:51.120 You want to know what kind of country you really live in?

00:01:53.600 Look how it treats its farmers. 0.98

00:01:55.560 Right now, American ranchers are being pushed to the edges.

00:01:58.380 Farmers are being pushed to the edges.

00:02:00.140 By the time I end this program, another farm or another ranch is going to be lost here in America.

00:02:04.800 And it's strangulation by regulation.

00:02:06.740 It is strangulation, quite honestly, by the meatpacking industry and everybody else.

00:02:12.840 The way to push back starts at your table.

00:02:16.400 Good Ranchers sells 100% American meat.

00:02:19.620 It's all sourced from local farms and ranches right here at home.

00:02:23.260 And every box supports American agriculture.

00:02:26.260 Every order helps American families who refuse to sell out or sell off.

00:02:33.140 When you try Good Ranchers, you're not only going to do the right thing, you're going to also taste the difference.

00:02:40.800 It's more than just eating well, but eating well is a big part of it.

00:03:08.260 American meat.

00:03:09.920 Delivered.

00:03:12.860 Hello, America.

00:03:14.020 You know we've been fighting every single day.

00:03:15.940 We push back against the lies, the censorship, the nonsense of the mainstream media that they're trying to feed you.

00:03:22.160 We work tirelessly to bring you the unfiltered truth because you deserve it.

00:03:27.120 But to keep this fight going, we need you.

00:03:29.300 Right now, would you take a moment and rate and review the Glenn Beck podcast?

00:03:33.340 Give us five stars and lead a comment because every single review helps us break through Big Tech's algorithm to reach more Americans who need to hear the truth.

00:03:42.140 This isn't a podcast.

00:03:43.500 This is a movement.

00:03:45.120 And you're part of it.

00:03:46.100 A big part of it.

00:03:47.020 So if you believe in what we're doing, you want more people to wake up, help us push this podcast to the top.

00:03:52.080 Rate, review, share.

00:03:53.680 Together, we'll make a difference.

00:03:55.720 And thanks for standing with us.

00:03:56.900 Now let's get to work.

00:04:06.020 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:04:10.200 Hey, no big deal.

00:04:11.820 Just want to bring it up to speed.

00:04:13.240 Eleven illegal Iranian nationals have just been arrested by ICE.

00:04:18.400 But don't worry about it.

00:04:19.520 Mehran Salehi, former member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, but don't, that's not a new point.

00:04:30.300 With admitted connections to Hezbollah, was arrested in, what a surprise, Minnesota.

00:04:35.800 Now, he was previously arrested on, you know, being a felon in possession of a firearm.

00:04:41.420 And he was supposed to be removed in 2022, but yeah, well, you're going to get around that one.

00:04:46.300 And then ICE in Atlanta just arrested another guy, reportedly carrying around his Islamic Republic of Iran army identification card.

00:04:55.120 But don't worry, he was low member.

00:04:56.940 He was just a sniper.

00:04:59.200 And, oh, boy.

00:05:00.940 Yeah, so he was, he got here, he entered the U.S. on a marriage visa, and then he didn't adjust his immigration status, and so he's got to go.

00:05:12.640 The sniper, we're going to take the sniper out?

00:05:14.980 What?

00:05:16.060 And then another guy who was reportedly arrested carrying a loaded firearm when ICE captured him in Houston, he entered the country on a student visa and was arrested the following year for assaulting his wife.

00:05:28.960 For, you ready?

00:05:30.520 You know what the charge was?

00:05:32.460 Impeding her breathing.

00:05:35.900 Really?

00:05:36.760 That's all he was doing was impeding her breathing.

00:05:40.060 Huh.

00:05:40.980 Apparently, he had threatened her and her family in Iran, and he was supposed to be removed from the country in 2019.

00:05:48.720 But, I mean, we couldn't get around to that one.

00:05:51.720 So 11 of these guys, don't worry.

00:05:53.520 There's only 8,000 more.

00:05:55.240 So we got that going for us.

00:05:56.680 Now, I want to also tell you, yesterday I was talking to Steve Bannon on the program, and he was saying the war between Israel and Iran could be part of the first kinetic moves toward World War III.

00:06:08.440 I happen to agree with him on this.

00:06:10.800 But, I mean, is Iran the threat to America here, or is it something else? 0.91

00:06:19.160 Tonight I'm going to explore this on my Wednesday night special.

00:06:22.340 You don't want to miss it, because it's weird.

00:06:26.380 This threat is spreading all across Europe, and the new relationships that are now being exposed between communists, radical leftists, and Islamists.

00:06:35.900 I want to play this.

00:06:37.040 This is from a Muslim imam in, I think, Michigan.

00:06:42.220 Ready?

00:06:43.040 Remember what the leader told us?

00:06:44.980 Free Palestine, free the world.

00:06:46.900 What did he say?

00:06:47.920 The key, that mysterious key to the Faraj, that's in Palestine.

00:06:55.460 So, free Palestine, free the world. 0.93

00:06:58.300 We need to expose Western civilization.

00:07:04.620 The world needs to know this system is no longer a solution.

00:07:10.480 These institutions are morally bankrupt.

00:07:13.640 There is no other way, but God.

00:07:18.480 I agree, but I don't think we're second in the same thing.

00:07:20.720 Or technically-oriented, God-based resistance and rejection of this system.

00:07:25.800 Okay, so overthrowing the system of Western civilization.

00:07:30.480 Not a big deal.

00:07:31.080 When he said, you know, what the leader told us, he was talking about the supreme leader of Iran.

00:07:36.160 This is being preached in the mosque, I believe in Michigan.

00:07:40.240 So, don't worry about it.

00:07:41.480 You know what's weird is, now that you're seeing how the radical Islamists, the radical communists, and socialists, all seem to be...

00:07:53.680 Where have I heard that before?

00:07:57.320 Radicals, Islamists, communists, and socialists will work together against Israel, against capitalism, and work together to overturn stability.

00:08:05.360 There are radicals, globalists, Islamists, all working together.

00:08:09.620 Radicals, Islamists, communists, and socialists will work together against Israel, work against capitalism, work together to overturn stability.

00:08:18.060 Let it be my tombstone.

00:08:20.460 I was hammered for it.

00:08:22.460 Radicals, Islamists, communists, socialists, all working together against Israel?

00:08:27.000 This has nothing to do with Israel.

00:08:28.760 This has everything to do with freedom.

00:08:30.180 Yeah, the rest of that statement was overturned stability to end Western civilization.

00:08:44.340 Okay, all right.

00:08:45.700 Well, that's not happening.

00:08:46.880 What did that a mom just say in Michigan? 1.00

00:08:50.420 I'm trying to remember.

00:08:52.180 Oh, yeah, yeah.

00:08:52.880 We got to put Western civilization on alert.

00:08:56.320 It no longer works.

00:08:57.000 Okay, good, good, good.

00:08:59.340 So it's a good day in America.

00:09:01.560 We've got a new candidate for mayor of New York, free buses, grocery stores run by the city, $30 minimum wage, higher taxes on the wealthy and businesses, of course.

00:09:16.360 You don't need business in New York.

00:09:19.060 I mean, that's going to be good.

00:09:20.940 I mean, it's a new day.

00:09:22.620 All right, all right, all right, I've had enough.

00:09:27.100 I've frankly had enough of this and you today.

00:09:33.600 I can't.

00:09:34.960 What does this show even stand for anymore?

00:09:37.880 What are we doing here?

00:09:40.240 Why do we come to do this show every day?

00:09:42.980 Why does this exist?

00:09:43.900 I don't know.

00:09:44.000 I thought to point out the truth and to say the things that most people won't say, you know.

00:09:49.320 I think that's what we're supposed to do.

00:09:50.800 Why?

00:09:51.020 We are 40 minutes into this show and we have not bashed Andrew Cuomo one time.

00:10:02.800 What the hell are we doing here?

00:10:06.500 Why did I come in today?

00:10:09.140 You know what, Stu?

00:10:10.500 When you say it that way, I understand what you're saying.

00:10:12.700 I get it.

00:10:13.220 I get it.

00:10:13.660 Wow, how could I be so misguided?

00:10:17.900 This, and I appreciate you admitting it, but I honestly am questioning how you didn't

00:10:24.600 feel it in your soul when you woke up today.

00:10:27.540 Wow, you know. 0.99

00:10:28.720 I want you to think of how pathetic this is. 0.99

00:10:34.120 Andrew Cuomo. 0.99

00:10:34.900 Me or Andrew Cuomo's loss?

00:10:37.660 I'm going to go with both, honestly, at this point.

00:10:39.860 Right, okay.

00:10:40.340 Andrew Cuomo is one of the most famous people in the state of New York, from one of the most

00:10:46.560 famous families in the entire state of New York.

00:10:51.100 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:10:51.860 He was nationally famous not that long ago.

00:10:57.840 He went from a governor job to try to pick off a mayoral job, and this man lost to a 33-year-old

00:11:11.620 zilch that nobody had any awareness of two weeks ago.

00:11:18.300 He was a rapper at one point.

00:11:20.420 He was a rapper.

00:11:21.360 He's actually better known for his rapping than he is his legislative record.

00:11:27.820 He's accomplished precisely nothing in his entire life.

00:11:34.440 No one knew who he was at all.

00:11:37.320 It's starting to sound like you're with me on talking about the new candidate.

00:11:43.080 Oh, I just want to set the stage here, because sure, he's bad, but that doesn't tell you anything

00:11:50.920 about what kind of giant failure this was for Andrew Cuomo.

00:11:55.260 A person who was gifted this race, no one stepped in against him.

00:12:00.920 It's like one of those races where he was running unopposed.

00:12:03.660 There's basically no one who had a chance to win in this primary.

00:12:08.320 Look, just because he blew a 70-point lead.

00:12:12.660 A 70-point lead and $35 million of spending in excess of his opponent.

00:12:21.300 Right.

00:12:21.500 He got every endorsement, he got every piece of party apparatus outside of the hardcore pro-Hamas wing of the party to back him.

00:12:32.380 He got all of the establishment, the unions, he got everybody on his side.

00:12:41.600 And for some reason, the people of New York City decided, you know, maybe we shouldn't select the person who murdered our grandparents this time.

00:12:53.100 Maybe, maybe we all make jokes about how our relatives drive us crazy at Thanksgiving, but maybe we shouldn't vote for the person who killed them.

00:13:04.380 That was the decision apparently made.

00:13:06.960 Hey! 0.99

00:13:07.840 Hey! 0.99

00:13:08.800 Get back! 0.99

00:13:10.320 Killer, you don't need that. 0.98

00:13:11.680 What are you talking about?

00:13:13.060 Thank you. 0.99

00:13:13.880 Killing people. 1.00

00:13:15.280 What are you? 1.00

00:13:16.140 What?

00:13:16.480 I saw I'm part of the family.

00:13:18.220 What do you mean killing somebody? 0.95

00:13:19.700 Of course, I am thinking about killing myself today, but they... 0.99

00:13:23.860 Now, I will say, the people of New York might be surprised, once this socialist becomes mayor of their city, that he may also kill a lot of them. 0.93

00:13:34.380 That's usually what happens when socialists take over places. 0.92

00:13:38.520 But I get...

00:13:39.760 And, like, the people of New York had built themselves up to say, you know, socialism's pretty crazy.

00:13:46.780 He's way out there.

00:13:47.800 He wants...

00:13:48.560 This is a man who's literally proposing city-owned grocery stores, as you noted, and they may have convinced themselves that, you know what?

00:13:59.960 Hey, the constant corruption, the murdering our grandparents, the grope-a-thon that's going to happen, apparently, in Manhattan is okay.

00:14:07.740 We're going to take Andrew Cuomo anyway, yet they...

00:14:10.700 You can't...

00:14:11.000 Hang on just a second.

00:14:12.000 Let's just not throw out city-owned grocery stores, higgledy-piggledy, just on your word.

00:14:16.680 He never said that.

00:14:19.780 Hmm.

00:14:20.180 You don't think so, huh?

00:14:21.560 Hmm.

00:14:22.400 Where is it?

00:14:23.020 Grocery prices are out of control.

00:14:24.820 The cost of eggs and milk has skyrocketed.

00:14:27.460 Some stores are even using dynamic pricing, jacking up the cost over the course of a day, depending on what they can get away with.

00:14:33.240 It doesn't need to be this way.

00:14:34.720 I'm Zahran Mamdani, and as mayor, I will create a network of city-owned grocery stores.

00:14:39.180 It's like a public option for produce.

00:14:41.080 We will redirect city funds from corporate supermarkets to city-owned grocery stores, whose mission is lower prices, not price gouging.

00:14:50.140 These stores will operate without a profit motive or having to pay property taxes or rent, and we'll pass on those savings to you.

00:14:56.620 This proposal is so insane.

00:15:00.840 By the way, it's likely happening some version of it in your town.

00:15:04.640 If you happen to have a city rec center, a beautiful rec center they've built, and there's just a gym and all these things,

00:15:12.820 and then there's other businesses trying to compete with that by renting their own properties and building gyms,

00:15:20.740 they already know this, by the way.

00:15:22.940 This is happening all over the country.

00:15:24.460 It just doesn't happen in grocery stores.

00:15:26.940 This seems wildly specific, that example.

00:15:29.740 It's one of my personal jihads.

00:15:33.500 Now, when I say jihad, I don't mean actually people exploding, which I know is different than some others in the news today.

00:15:40.320 But what I will say is, I've always noticed that what he's describing there sounds completely insane,

00:15:46.600 until you realize that local governments do it all the time.

00:15:49.200 They do this stuff all the time.

00:15:51.020 Oh, so then it'll work.

00:15:52.640 Yeah.

00:15:53.000 Hey, we'll give you a lower membership to the gym, because we can build something with taxpayer dollars,

00:16:00.680 and we won't charge them taxes or make them pay rent, and so we'll undercut all of the competition.

00:16:07.320 It's just a fascinating dynamic.

00:16:09.380 So wait a minute, then.

00:16:10.460 I mean, I know a lot of your neighbors, because again, this is a very specific jihad you're on,

00:16:16.320 but a lot of your neighbors would love that, Jim.

00:16:20.000 They love that.

00:16:20.840 They love the fact, because you know why?

00:16:22.180 Because it works, Stu.

00:16:23.560 It works.

00:16:24.320 So what is your problem with these grocery stores?

00:16:28.460 I don't understand it.

00:16:29.720 New York, grocery stores.

00:16:31.700 What could possibly go wrong?

00:16:33.100 You know what?

00:16:33.780 If you are looking for some government cheese, and you don't think the government cheese thing

00:16:40.860 was a joke that expired 30 years ago, and you want it to come back as a real part of

00:16:46.900 your life, then go with this guy.

00:16:49.300 By the way, you shouldn't go with the guy who's murdering your grandparents either.

00:16:53.140 That's a bad option as well.

00:16:57.400 And at the very least, we should at least understand what we're getting into here.

00:17:03.480 Sure, you've got a socialist who's out there, but why aren't we instead, instead of worrying

00:17:09.740 about the oncoming socialism and how the financial center of the world may soon very well be run

00:17:16.160 by a guy who's basically a communist, sure, that should worry you.

00:17:20.240 But shouldn't you instead be basking in the glory of Andrew Cuomo's failure? 0.98

00:17:25.120 Isn't today really the day to sit back and enjoy this pathetic failure of a man who is 0.98

00:17:33.740 so horrifically terrible, not only for the people of New York, but really the entire country. 0.98

00:17:40.580 A man who imported COVID-positive patients into nursing homes.

00:17:48.200 A man!

00:17:48.940 So I believe that what we're seeing here is somebody who is really working hard to globalize

00:17:56.580 the Intifada against Andrew Cuomo.

00:18:00.440 It's just a struggle, Glenn.

00:18:02.520 It's just a struggle.

00:18:03.640 They talk about it at the Holocaust Museum.

00:18:05.980 I'm wondering if the dead Saddam Hussein could have won in New York City yesterday. 0.95

00:18:12.200 Let me tell you about the Burna Launcher.

00:18:16.340 I believe in being prepared.

00:18:17.920 You do too.

00:18:18.440 Not paranoid, not aggressive, but capable.

00:18:21.680 I believe in options and tools that give you a choice before a situation spirals out of control.

00:18:26.400 And I believe if it is possible to avoid taking a life, you know, we probably should.

00:18:33.280 That's why I carry Burna.

00:18:34.500 The Burna Launcher is a non-lethal self-defense tool that fires high-speed pepper and impact rounds,

00:18:41.240 also tear gas rounds, designed to disorient, incapacitate, and end a threat without ending a life.

00:18:48.580 It's not a toy.

00:18:49.900 It's not a gun either.

00:18:51.360 It's something different.

00:18:52.280 Built for people who refuse to be caught off guard.

00:18:55.040 You don't need a permit.

00:18:56.240 And it's legal in all 50 states.

00:18:58.400 And it is simple to learn, easy to carry, and ready when you need it.

00:19:03.100 Whether or not you ever have to use it or not, it is great to have.

00:19:07.100 In a world that feels less predictable every day, Burna isn't just a device.

00:19:11.180 It's a strategy, a way to walk through life.

00:19:14.100 Burna, B-Y-R-N-A dot com.

00:19:16.180 Use their retail store locator to find the nearest location offering live demonstrations,

00:19:20.800 including select sportsman's warehouse stores.

00:19:23.900 Burna dot com.

00:19:25.400 Now back to the podcast.

00:19:28.120 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program, and we really want to thank you for listening.

00:19:33.160 Welcome to the program.

00:19:35.060 We're glad you're here.

00:19:37.180 There's a human rights activist from Canada that I really, really want you to meet.

00:19:42.360 Her name is Yasmin Mohamed.

00:19:44.560 She is the author of Unveiled.

00:19:47.560 And I want to talk to her about the real battle that the West is facing.

00:19:52.320 Now that we're in it, I think we are in, I think we're in for a real, well, no, no.

00:19:58.080 Only those who have closed their eyes are going to be surprised by this.

00:20:01.500 We're not in for a shock.

00:20:03.020 We're in for a great awakening, honestly.

00:20:06.000 Because if you haven't seen what's happening in Europe, if you haven't seen what's coming on our own streets, if you're not reading the tea leaves and seeing how this is going, hello, New York City. 1.00

00:20:15.720 You're a fool. 1.00

00:20:17.960 You're a fool. 1.00

00:20:18.720 You're blind or you're just, I don't know, incompetent. 1.00

00:20:22.900 But Yasmin is here. 0.95

00:20:24.040 She has written a book that is unbelievable.

00:20:28.720 It's called Unveiled, How Western Liberals Empower Radical Islam. 0.95

00:20:33.300 Yasmin, are you on with me tonight or is it just this radio hit here?

00:20:39.000 Hello, Yasmin?

00:20:39.800 It's just this radio hit, but I mean, I'd love to be on with you tonight if possible.

00:20:44.460 Well, may I suggest something different?

00:20:47.000 Are you, can you, do you have an open, do you have about an hour that you can spend with me right now?

00:20:52.720 I'd like to extend this.

00:20:54.780 Sure.

00:20:55.360 Let's do it.

00:20:56.100 Absolutely.

00:20:56.480 So, because it's important, I want to talk to you about, I want to talk to you about what's happening with Iran and everything else, but I really think that we should start with your childhood.

00:21:07.100 I mean, it is, it's remarkable the life that you lived and have lived through and with no help from Canada, you know, had to endure as a childhood.

00:21:20.700 Can you start, you were born in Vancouver to an Egyptian mom and a Palestinian father, and then your parents got a divorce at six, you stayed with mom, and then mom married an Egyptian who she was one of two wives, right?

00:21:36.540 Did he have more than two wives?

00:21:40.160 Well, he could have up to four, but he only filled up two slots.

00:21:43.340 Yeah.

00:21:43.880 My mom was a second. 0.94

00:21:45.980 Okay.

00:21:46.520 So tell me about your childhood.

00:21:48.380 What was your childhood like?

00:21:50.700 So, first of all, Glenn, thank you so much for having me on, and thank you so much for reading my book and for helping to bring light to this darkness.

00:22:01.900 My childhood was, unfortunately, something that is quite common around all over North America, Europe, obviously the Middle East, but we don't hear the stories because people are afraid to speak.

00:22:16.440 So, as you mentioned, my parents were, you know, they grew up secular Muslims, my mom in Egypt, my dad in Gaza, and they moved to San Francisco, got married, you know, had my sister, and then eventually moved to Canada where their marriage fell apart.

00:22:34.980 And, like you mentioned, my mom married an Egyptian man who, at this point, was what people are calling an Islamist or a political Muslim.

00:22:43.900 Basically, he was just religious.

00:22:45.600 Can we stop on this for a second?

00:22:48.220 Because this is something I'm going to talk about tonight, and it is so important to understand the difference between a Muslim and an Islamist.

00:22:54.900 Islamists are wickedly dangerous because it is political in Islam and does not necessarily have anything to do with regular Muslims, correct? 1.00

00:23:05.540 That's right. 0.96

00:23:07.620 So, a regular Muslim could be somebody who is open to, you know, democracy and freedom, somebody like Dr. Zutty Jasser, who I co-founded the Clarity Coalition with.

00:23:19.020 Yeah, he's an amazing man.

00:23:20.460 He's an example.

00:23:21.220 But then, of course, there's Islamists, which can go, you know, anywhere from a political Islamist like Mamdami in New York all the way to jihadis like ISIS and Hamas, etc.

00:23:35.780 So, those are people who are wanting to—

00:23:37.800 You would put this new mayor of New York or the new mayoral candidate that won his primary last night in the category of an Islamist?

00:23:46.660 I absolutely would.

00:23:47.860 Yes, I absolutely would.

00:23:49.140 Why?

00:23:49.240 He is somebody who is extremely dangerous.

00:23:52.980 He's built his entire platform on Islamist talking points.

00:23:58.260 I mean, let's just start with the fact that CARE put $100,000 behind him.

00:24:04.120 CARE is a group whose leaders said that they were happy about October 7th.

00:24:09.960 So, it's very clear that these people follow the same ideology and the same goals as groups like Hamas.

00:24:18.480 They're doing it in different ways.

00:24:20.120 Hamas are more like they're jihadis because they're using violence.

00:24:23.640 But an Islamist won't necessarily use violence, but they will use duplicitous, insidious means, like exactly like what Mamdani is doing, which is using secular laws against itself. 0.90

00:24:37.500 Which is, you know, these thinly veiled calls to globalized intifada.

00:24:47.360 That is a thinly veiled incitement to violence.

00:24:50.440 You know, I've spoken to people who have survived intifadas in Israel.

00:24:53.520 And what we're talking about here are people riding on a bus and the bus is blowing up.

00:24:58.420 People sitting, having a pizza, and then the pizza parlor gets blown up.

00:25:02.080 This is what they're asking for.

00:25:03.480 This is what they're saying they want to globalize.

00:25:06.040 So, I don't even know how thinly veiled that is.

00:25:08.720 But when somebody is your mayoral candidate and is calling to globalize the intifada, and then for that person to win is really disheartening.

00:25:17.860 It really makes me feel so sad and angry and terrified about the future of our world.

00:25:23.840 Okay, so let's get back to your childhood.

00:25:26.700 So, you are, you know, with this new father riding a bike, listening to music, celebrating birthdays, swimming lessons, playing with non-Muslim friends, not happening. 0.99

00:25:39.940 Yeah, absolutely.

00:25:41.360 Everything became haram.

00:25:42.760 Everything became forbidden.

00:25:44.520 So, all of those things you mentioned, and then, of course, hijab was put on me, which is the head covering.

00:25:50.480 I had to cover everything except for my face and hands.

00:25:53.840 Up until I was 19, where even my face and hands got covered in black as well.

00:26:00.180 So, yeah, it was a complete shock.

00:26:04.500 I hated every minute of it.

00:26:06.200 But, of course, I was terrified.

00:26:08.220 There was nothing I could do.

00:26:09.220 I was scared.

00:26:10.400 And at one point, there was just a brief moment of time where I was able to go to a public school because the Islamic school did not yet have a high school in place.

00:26:22.640 And in that year, I was able to connect with one of my teachers, Mr. Favreau, who wrote the foreword for my book.

00:26:30.640 Okay.

00:26:31.200 Wait.

00:26:31.640 Before you get there, tell people when you failed at home, tell people what happened to you with your feet and your ankles and everything else.

00:26:41.940 So, they have an understanding of what you were going through when you met this teacher.

00:26:47.160 Yeah.

00:26:47.720 So, you talked about not being allowed to have non-Muslim friends.

00:26:51.420 That was, you know, I cannot overstate how important that was for us to understand the difference between us and them. 0.97

00:26:58.940 Muslims and non-Muslims. 0.96

00:27:00.380 Good and bad. 0.89

00:27:01.400 Good and evil, actually.

00:27:02.840 And so, in one of my books, I had written my name as Jasmine instead of Yasmin.

00:27:08.520 I just changed one letter.

00:27:11.180 And when my mom and her husband saw that, they interpreted, oh, this girl wants to be Western. 0.89

00:27:18.740 She wants to be Canadian. 0.60

00:27:19.980 She doesn't want to be Muslim. 1.00

00:27:21.120 She's preferring their way of writing her name instead of our way of writing it.

00:27:27.340 So, we need to teach her a very strong lesson so that she learns and understands that they are evil and we are good.

00:27:37.060 And so, their way of doing that was to hang me upside down in the garage. 0.64

00:27:45.700 And, you know, Muslims have the celebration of Baid where they slaughter an animal every year and they hang it up in the garage. 1.00

00:27:57.040 And that was the hook that they used to hang me up on and whipped me. 1.00

00:28:03.080 And they whip places where it will be hidden.

00:28:07.940 When I was younger, it was the bottom of my feet.

00:28:11.140 But later, when I started wearing hijab and my body was covered anyway, then they could whip more, you know, more comfortably wherever they wanted. 0.96

00:28:20.980 And her husband hung me upside down and whipped me to the point of me passing out because I was crying so much and I couldn't breathe.

00:28:30.640 Because my whole, you know, my face, my nose, my throat, my eyes, everything was filled with me okay.

00:28:38.200 And I woke up from my being, from passing out and I could hear them talking.

00:28:46.640 And my mom was upset.

00:28:55.280 She was freaking out. 0.65

00:28:56.060 She's like, what are we going to do if you killed her? 0.74

00:29:00.140 We're going to have to explain this.

00:29:03.400 Like, she was concerned that they would be in trouble with the authorities if they had killed me.

00:29:09.400 You know what I mean?

00:29:10.060 Like, it wasn't even that they were concerned about the fact that they had killed me.

00:29:14.020 What was that like to hear that from your mother?

00:29:19.540 I mean, I can't forget it.

00:29:22.180 I can't forget a lot of the things that she said and done.

00:29:28.180 It's really important for me to highlight here that she wasn't like this.

00:29:34.340 She was, nobody in her family was like this.

00:29:38.600 Nobody in Cairo where she grew up was like this. 0.74

00:29:41.240 But once she became indoctrinated into this ideology and once she married this Islamist man, she turned into this monster who, her, she was so, such a zealot. 0.52

00:29:55.880 And her ideology and her, you know, anti-West, pro-Islam, you know, it just possessed her mind. 0.70

00:30:06.600 And that's all that mattered to her.

00:30:08.640 And even her own kids were nowhere near.

00:30:13.900 Like, we didn't even register in her, you know, in the things that she cared about.

00:30:18.320 All she wanted was to, for Islam to win and for the West to be dismantled. 1.00

00:30:25.400 And if it meant that she had to, you know, beat her daughter up to get her daughter to understand that that's what needed to be done, then she was fine to do that. 0.99

00:30:36.060 And in fact, she was fine to kill me. 0.95

00:30:38.680 When I took off my hijab, I had to, I had to escape from her and run for my life because she was so angry at the fact that I would take off my hijab and act like the infidels, act like the non-Muslims and to be like them. 0.99

00:30:57.600 Um, so it was, you know, it's so hard to explain how somebody's mind can be so brainwashed, so indoctrinated, so possessed with an ideology, but hers was.

00:31:10.040 So, Yasmin, I have to tell you, my heart just breaks for you and all of the people that are in this situation because, you know, we hear these stories, you know, they're bad parents, really bad parents, really, really, really, really, really dark people that have children.

00:31:25.580 Um, but this is not the same.

00:31:28.380 That's, that's, that's, this is, explain the difference.

00:31:33.580 Well, I don't, you know, I guess the best way for me to describe it was, this was an analogy that Sam Harris made one time, and I thought this was, this was a really good way of describing it, so I'm going to borrow it from him.

00:31:45.320 But he was saying, when you have a Jehovah's Witness family, for example, and they've got a little daughter, and she's going to die if she doesn't have a blood transfusion.

00:31:53.480 If they refuse for their daughter to get a blood transfusion, you don't look at those parents and say, those are evil people, those are bad people.

00:32:01.140 You say, oh my God, they have been, they have been indoctrinated to believe that killing their daughter is the right thing to do, that allowing their daughter to die is the correct thing to do.

00:32:13.420 So, you, you recognize that they're, that they have been possessed by this ideology, and it is making their humanity, it is suppressing their humanity, and it is suppressing it to the point that they're willing to watch their daughter die.

00:32:25.920 And that's really the best way to describe this, Islamist ideology is the exact same thing. 0.74

00:32:33.780 It is, it is coming from a religion, but it is so toxic, and it forces people to completely diminish their humanity and put this ideology first, regardless of who's going to be a victim.

00:32:46.520 You're streaming the best of Glenn Beck.

00:32:48.800 To hear more of this interview and others, download the full show podcasts wherever you get podcasts.

00:32:53.520 So, I've been talking to you the last few weeks about some stuff, and I, you'll understand, I, I don't mean to be coy about things, but, well, let me just get into it here.

00:33:05.420 You know, the news has been tough, a tough news week, a tough news month, tough news year.

00:33:11.240 I mean, you know, more and more people are tuning out to the news.

00:33:14.680 It's almost 50% now that don't even watch the news anymore, and that's really, really dangerous.

00:33:19.920 But let me start with you.

00:33:21.140 You are here every day for a reason.

00:33:25.560 Maybe it's just, you know, William Shatner told me one time, I just love watching you because it's like an arsonist watching a fire.

00:33:33.300 But generally speaking, the people who watch and support this show, I want you to know how extraordinary you are.

00:33:41.600 You know, you're not just consuming information, you're using that information.

00:33:45.540 You act, you prepare, and you don't just care.

00:33:48.100 However, this audience sacrifices over and over and over again, and I have all the receipts for it.

00:33:55.380 In the last decade, let me give you some stats on just you.

00:33:59.100 In the last decade alone, you have given over a quarter of a billion dollars through Mercury One to help people in crisis.

00:34:07.140 We are now the first in and the last out, almost every time.

00:34:12.700 And the great thing is you don't just write checks.

00:34:15.120 Those checks are not big.

00:34:16.180 They're not coming from corporate sponsors.

00:34:17.620 They're coming from people who send us $20.

00:34:19.640 And you didn't just write checks.

00:34:21.260 You show up.

00:34:22.120 I asked you one time a few years ago if you would just join me in a volunteer event over the weekend.

00:34:28.300 45,000 people showed up driving across the states, the country, all over, organizing your churches, bringing your kids.

00:34:38.820 And you took part in what became the single largest volunteer effort ever completed in the United States over a weekend.

00:34:45.120 It was crazy.

00:34:46.500 That's not normal.

00:34:47.900 I want you to know that.

00:34:48.520 You're not part of a normal crowd.

00:34:50.060 It's rare, and it's powerful.

00:34:53.760 When people call you haters or anything else, you know you're not because you're engaged every day.

00:34:59.280 You know when I asked you, could we do something to help these Christians that are being deserted and are dying?

00:35:07.060 Do you know that the Nazarene Fund, which we started just a few years ago, because of you, you have rescued 260,000 people from persecution.

00:35:18.680 Did you know that?

00:35:20.740 I didn't even know that.

00:35:22.540 Like, I saw that number the other day.

00:35:23.720 I'm like, you've got to be kidding me.

00:35:25.940 You funded the largest civilian airlift in history to get Americans and our allies out of Afghanistan.

00:35:32.640 You have completely changed lives.

00:35:35.800 You shaped history.

00:35:36.680 And what amazes me is every day when I meet listeners of this audience, they say the same thing to me.

00:35:44.460 What else can I do?

00:35:45.460 I mean, I just don't know what to do.

00:35:47.660 My answer is always the same.

00:35:49.620 First of all, look at what you've already done.

00:35:53.220 Look at what you've already done.

00:35:54.660 This audience is the reason the news media is no longer the same, because you built a network called The Blaze.

00:36:01.660 Do you realize how far ahead you are of most Americans?

00:36:05.460 Even most people of faith, they're lost.

00:36:07.940 They don't have all of the keys.

00:36:10.560 They don't know what is happening, what's true, what's not.

00:36:16.200 They're not seeing what's coming over the horizon.

00:36:20.660 So you're way ahead.

00:36:22.840 So if you want to do more, all you have to do is just start where you are, you know.

00:36:28.260 I think another thing that is really unique about this audience is you have a feeling, and I think we all do.

00:36:33.920 Some just dismiss it.

00:36:34.940 We have a feeling inside of us, and it's not restlessness.

00:36:38.700 It is a pull to something more, something real, something really important.

00:36:43.360 It's not random, and I believe it's a calling.

00:36:47.920 And we all have one.

00:36:49.040 It just depends on who listens to it.

00:36:51.040 With everything that is happening in the world, it is hard to keep, it's just hard to keep up, let alone keep your chin up.

00:37:00.580 And I know.

00:37:02.000 I am so sick of the bad news.

00:37:03.740 I am so sick of all of this stuff.

00:37:05.440 And I spent my life digging through it, so you don't have to.

00:37:08.000 But we have to know what is happening and what is coming, because we have to be ahead of it.

00:37:16.140 So I've been talking to you a while about something that I'm building, and I want to give you a little bit more information on it today.

00:37:25.900 Next year, just so you know, I'm not walking away from radio or the stories that matter.

00:37:30.760 In fact, I'm going to be doubling down on that.

00:37:32.280 But I have told you now for nearly two years that something is shifting inside of me, and I feel like I'm, my calling has changed, and I feel like I'm being called to something different.

00:37:42.960 And I've only felt this twice in my life.

00:37:46.240 I felt it after I sobered up, and I just knew.

00:37:49.500 And then I felt it again when I left Fox News, and I just knew.

00:37:56.980 On January 1st of 2026, something new begins, and I have named it The Torch.

00:38:03.820 You know, we started the blaze together, and I think it's time now that we take a bit of that fire and light, and we put it on a torch, and we lead our kids out of this darkness into a brighter future.

00:38:18.400 And I wish I could tell you every detail today, but the truth is, some things are still being built.

00:38:23.160 Some things are in beta testing.

00:38:24.540 I tried something yesterday that is the first beta test.

00:38:28.080 I tried it, and I was shocked.

00:38:31.040 I mean, I tried to make this thing fail, and it's incredible.

00:38:38.720 You're going to be blown away, I think.

00:38:41.420 And there are some things that I just can't tell you until, you know, later this year.

00:38:45.600 Things are, you know, still in testing, being built, and being negotiated.

00:38:50.180 But at its core, The Torch is all about education, but not the kind that comes from, you know, textbooks or bureaucracies.

00:38:58.440 It is self-directed.

00:39:01.180 It's self-directed learning rooted in history, in liberty, in faith, in philosophy.

00:39:06.780 The things that built this country, personal responsibility.

00:39:12.080 And it is the kind of education that I think changes lives and civilizations.

00:39:16.080 You know, I've said it so many times before.

00:39:22.200 If we want stronger communities, we have to strengthen ourselves.

00:39:24.780 If we want better kids, then we have to be better parents.

00:39:29.300 If we want the truth to survive, then we have to know it and fight for it and make it ours.

00:39:36.280 And we have to do it intelligently and faithfully.

00:39:38.680 We have to do it every single day.

00:39:40.160 And that's what The Torch is going to be.

00:39:43.820 It's a daily connection.

00:39:45.320 It's a movement.

00:39:46.220 It is a mission.

00:39:47.720 It is a place for like-minded people.

00:39:50.000 And one part of it that I'll share with you today is the culmination of almost a decade of hard work.

00:39:56.860 Actually, over a decade of hard work.

00:39:58.560 It is going to include a new kind of museum, a physical and a digital museum, preserving the story of America in ways that we never thought was possible just 10 years ago.

00:40:13.300 And it will give you and your family the opportunity to learn through original artifacts, original sources, real stories from real people who are doing real things.

00:40:22.780 You know, right now, I don't know if you know this, we handpick about 100 young adults from over 1,000 plus applicants to spend two weeks with us in an immersive learning thing at the American Journey Experience.

00:40:38.820 Now, for the very first time, we have built a way for anyone, anywhere in the world, in any language, to do the same thing.

00:40:48.480 And I have seen this transform young adults, totally transform them.

00:40:54.940 We're also partnering with people of faith and business leaders and educators and innovators, people who know the truth and know how to live it.

00:41:04.920 And we're all coming together in January for not to sell you something, but to empower you.

00:41:12.960 And I want you to know I'm not asking you for anything today.

00:41:15.220 I'm not asking you for any money.

00:41:16.240 I'm not asking you to sign up, download anything.

00:41:18.500 I just want your attention.

00:41:19.600 I want you to stay connected and watch what's coming, because I promise you, this will be worth your time.

00:41:27.480 Now, if you want to be one of the first people to sign on, join the newsletter at glennbeck.com.

00:41:33.820 But only, you know, I suggest that if you are serious about knowing what's coming, being a part of a solution, discovering what your purpose is, wanting to teach your children, lighting a fire that doesn't go out, but that torch that can be passed from generation to generation.

00:41:51.360 Sign up now at glennbeck.com, because honestly, I don't want to build new tools or new platforms.

00:41:59.820 What I want is renewal of the human spirit.

00:42:03.580 And that is honestly what the torch is.

00:42:06.280 That is my next mission, and we begin in January.

00:42:10.500 And I hope when the time comes, you'll pick up that torch and carry it with me, because we are entering a brave new world.

00:42:20.540 And for those of us who have courage and see the handwriting on the wall, it's going to be a very dynamic and exciting times, and the world is going to need people that can lead.

00:42:49.260 There's so many aspects of this thing that are just incredible.

00:42:55.100 Today, I wanted to tell you a little bit about the history in education, but there's so much more to come, and we'll tell you about it as we go.

00:43:05.320 I'm so excited for this.

00:43:08.400 At the same time, I'm scared out of my mind.

00:43:11.340 But I just know when you do the right, when you try to do the right thing, no matter how hard it is, when you just, no, I shouldn't say that.

00:43:21.500 When you try to do the right thing, and then you pray about it.

00:43:25.920 You know, I told you a couple of weeks ago, you have to make the decisions.

00:43:29.420 God just told me about a year and a half ago, it's not right, it's not right, it's got to change, things are going to change.

00:43:35.220 I didn't know what that meant.

00:43:36.960 And it took me about a year to figure it out.

00:43:40.200 And, you know, I've been working on this for a long time.

00:43:43.560 And then I brought it to him and said, is this right?

00:43:50.060 Because this could be really crazy bad.

00:43:55.720 And, you know, you always know from him when it's like, it could be crazy bad.

00:44:00.060 And he's like, yep, that's me.

00:44:01.260 Go ahead.

00:44:01.940 Go walk off that bridge.

00:44:06.560 But I just, I have real faith.

00:44:10.120 And I know that you're here for a reason.

00:44:12.800 I know that I'm with you.

00:44:15.220 And maybe it's just for me to gain hope from you.

00:44:20.500 Because I was going through the stuff that you've done.

00:44:22.840 And I just can't believe it.

00:44:25.720 And wait until you see in January how we are going to turbo all of that.

00:44:30.720 We are going to be a very, very bright light.

00:44:32.940 Very bright light.

00:44:34.080 But it won't happen unless you're with us.
