00:00:04.520 no i always i never would doubt you oh my gosh we just finished a beautiful some would say

00:00:10.140 a perfect podcast let's do doubt it i uh we started the podcast with uh donald trump who

00:00:17.380 made some news today yeah i think uh on the nordstrom pipeline on the possibility of world

00:00:26.960 war three on how he defined the biden administration i mean there's a lot we start the podcast with that

00:00:36.860 today um also if you or somebody you know is struggling with depression or suicide especially

00:00:44.340 with their kids this is a must listen to podcast uh i had um arthur brooks on and he has this is his

00:00:55.580 he studies this kind of stuff and it's really uplifting really positive and i think you will

00:01:02.000 feel less alone bill o'reilly also joined us oh and how our government our biden administration

00:01:09.160 is dismantling the power grid and you're paying for it all that and more on today's podcast

00:01:17.200 first let me tell you about our sponsor it's jace medical we shot down the chinese spy balloon which 0.98

00:01:23.260 we did know exactly what that is remember when biden said we're not sure what that was uh yeah

00:01:29.380 apparently because we now have the high definition pictures from a youtube spy plane we know exactly

00:01:36.720 what that is so if you think our relationship with china is gonna get better think again according to a

00:01:45.180 university of minnesota study the u.s relies on overseas uh for 18 out of the 21 critical

00:01:52.640 antibiotics oh and only 72 percent for active pharmaceutical ingredients but on that we got

00:02:00.300 covered okay we're good okay we don't make medicine here just a supply chain disruption could mean we're

00:02:09.060 out of antibiotics we're already looking at a an antibiotic shortage with amoxicillin it's happening

00:02:16.620 on a small scale imagine the fun when we can't just take some penicillin the jace case from jace

00:02:56.240 you're listening to the best of the glenn beck program

00:03:08.320 mr president how are you sir hi glenn it's good to talk to you how are you i'm very good good to talk

00:03:16.780 to you i'm great and i have to i have to thank you for bringing so much attention to what's happening

00:03:22.940 in ohio and finally getting buddha judge to uh show up who was there yesterday

00:03:27.700 uh and blaming you for the disaster somehow or another but thank you i didn't hear that i can

00:03:35.540 imagine oh yeah it's incredible what did you learn from from the people of east palestine

00:03:43.680 the unity is incredible the relationship to each other the working with each other the mayor was a

00:03:53.800 great guy i did ask a question what is your crime rate and it's almost zero so you know here we are in

00:04:00.880 new york and different cities where it's uh not only is it not zero it's numbers that have never been

00:04:07.080 seen before yeah and horrible crime too just be getting whacked from behind your head with a

00:04:12.320 baseball bat and things but i said what's your kind of crime rate almost like uh gee that's not

00:04:18.360 a very smart question i mean we have almost no crime think of it you know it's a beautiful thing

00:04:23.920 when you look and see and there's just a lot of love there a lot of spirit they happen to love

00:04:28.520 me because i mean the relationship i got a vast amount of votes there as you probably know i think

00:04:35.040 it used to be a democrat area too yeah but i got a vast amount of votes and it was a beautiful

00:04:40.160 thing to see how we just all came together and boot boot edge edge you know we're supposed to say boot

00:04:46.300 edge edge he was supposed to be there and he decided not to come and he came the next day and

00:04:53.400 he played the very small crowds nobody cared it was too late i mean he should have been there

00:04:57.560 one day one not uh weeks after this event happened it was a very horrific event well actually um

00:05:04.800 horrible event that people can't trust the uh epa or they don't trust the epa um on on uh the testing

00:05:13.440 of the air trying to get somebody we've been trying to hire some people to go do testing there for the

00:05:19.240 people in um at east palestine and uh a lot of places just won't do it because they they don't want

00:05:26.780 to break up their public private partnership with the united states who do you trust oh wow that's

00:05:33.280 incredible well that's happening in a lot of ways i mean when you look at it that people don't want

00:05:38.140 to get involved because you know the fascists that are running the country take you know umbrage at it

00:05:44.200 they uh they go after them and that's in many different ways you see it you see it even with

00:05:49.860 law firms you see it with so many different things they don't want to they don't want to take on this

00:05:54.560 fascist disgusting system that our country's starting out to be uh we're becoming like a uh like a

00:06:01.740 soviet union it's disgraceful and you see that in many ways so now you tell me that even engineer 1.00

00:06:07.400 types are doing that it's just absolutely it's absolutely horrible what's happening to our country

00:06:12.920 in so many ways whether it's the border the military what they're doing with the military

00:06:17.480 so many different things it's very sad so very dangerous very bad this is the one year anniversary

00:06:24.200 of the invasion into ukraine and mr president i can't find a good guy here i don't i don't trust

00:06:31.740 putin i don't think he's a good guy but i know because i did a lot of work on uh your so-called

00:06:39.360 impeachment and what was going on in ukraine that's wildly corrupt and i don't trust our government and i 0.85

00:06:47.120 don't want to get into a war and we are now losing almost we're close to losing the proxy part of this

00:06:54.380 war and it looks like we're headed towards something where we are going head to head what is your take

00:07:01.160 on this and how do we stop this so it's a very interesting question and i have a little more

00:07:08.320 experience because i dealt with zielinski uh i made one phone call and then i made a second call these

00:07:14.780 were two congratulatory calls once when he won first phase one of the election and one when he

00:07:19.540 was one phase two they were as i say perfect phone calls i got unanimous in the house uh acquittal

00:07:26.740 unanimous from every single republican now you haven't seen that too often but every single republican

00:07:32.040 voted to acquit or to say innocent and that was a nice thing to see the republicans came together but i

00:07:39.200 got to know a lot and learn a lot about the country now you know the country is considered extremely

00:07:44.740 corrupt in fact we have a document that says you're supposed to report them bah bah bah you

00:07:49.860 know everything but it's a very it is a very corrupt country uh i happen to like zielinski for 0.99

00:07:55.880 one specific reason when they asked him what i said was it was he threatened was he he acted as though

00:08:03.560 it was a disgrace that they were doing right with this he said what did he do he didn't do anything

00:08:09.520 well he just like couldn't believe it actually it was just a con by nancy pelosi and the con artists

00:08:15.320 but zielinski could have said oh i felt threatened i felt this i felt that could have said that and it

00:08:21.400 would have been harder uh we would have still won because it's still you know fortunately we had this

00:08:26.580 uh call taped in a way it was taped by the by the people in government and in our government

00:08:34.220 and i was very lucky that it was because we had all these people making up different stories saying

00:08:38.800 they were on the call probably they weren't even on the call but they were liars and when the tape

00:08:44.180 came out that was that was the end of their whole ploy then they went on to something new but these are

00:08:50.100 just terrible people but zielinski as you remember very well and it was quite beautiful because i didn't

00:08:56.300 know you know i didn't know him i congratulated him on a victory but he came out and he said absolutely he

00:09:03.060 didn't do anything wrong he didn't even know what they were talking about and and he acted that way

00:09:07.260 so i re i really respected that because he could have gotten some good political points and i really

00:09:12.440 respected that and uh so i like him should we should we be sending more money more arms now they're

00:09:20.940 talking about planes should we be doing this well we're going to end up in world war three that's one

00:09:27.760 thing that's going to happen and i've been sort of saying that for a long time now uh are you ready

00:09:32.660 just in a very quick nutshell this is a war that should have never happened it would have never

00:09:37.600 happened if i were in office zero chance of it happening i used to speak to putin about it got

00:09:43.060 along with putin very well don't forget i was tougher in russia than anybody else you're one of

00:09:47.400 the people that face that i ended their pipeline i sanctioned them i did so many and yet i still got

00:09:52.820 along with putin that's sort of a trick that's a hard trick it's a talented trick but i got along with

00:09:58.120 them but i know nobody i was the one that sent in the javelins i sent in massive numbers of javelins

00:10:04.700 and biden and obama sent in pillows and they sent in sheets i know in a very small number but i gave

00:10:12.640 them the javelins when they wiped out those tanks they wiped them out with the stuff i sent there was

00:10:17.660 nobody was it was as tough and the javelins was a big deal but the biggest deal was i shut down the

00:10:22.540 nordstrom 2 pipeline that nobody even heard of until i came along so when people know about it

00:10:27.800 nobody heard of it when you go to the nordstrom pipeline which you did shut down biden opened up

00:10:34.260 now there's uh some reporting that says we blew it up biden did a covert mission and blew it up do you

00:10:43.020 believe that well it could have been us and it could have been uh it could have been ukraine and it

00:10:50.180 could have been some third party country that wants to see that wants to see trouble the one

00:10:55.520 group it wasn't is russia you know they blame russia for for doing it this was a main is a main source of

00:11:01.660 massive income to them they didn't blow it up to make a point that's the one thing i can tell you

00:11:06.640 for sure remember when it first happened they said russia did it you know russia always russia russia

00:11:11.340 and i lived for years with that where uh everything gets blamed on russia gets blamed on you these people

00:11:17.440 are sick i'm telling you but it could have been it could have been working in conjunction with

00:11:21.840 ukraine because ukraine is total dominance over the united states total dominance i mean we've given 0.87

00:11:27.480 them probably 150 billion dollars and europe has given them almost nothing and that bothers me that

00:11:34.320 really bothers me because i had it i had it out with them on nato you know we were taking care of

00:11:38.360 nato we were taking care of i got 450 billion dollars from the european nations from nato that's the

00:11:43.920 other thing nobody was tougher on them but then they still beat us on trade because i had that

00:11:50.380 just about stopped you know europe is almost as bad as china on dealing on trade they're very very 0.99

00:11:56.680 restrictive very very tough they don't take our cars they don't take our farm products meaning much of

00:12:01.940 they don't do you know they treat us uh with a lack of respect well they were starting to respect us a

00:12:07.840 lot and big and we were straightening a lot of things out but the saddest part about the war is

00:12:13.900 that this is a war that should have never happened okay so now it happened uh now you have to get

00:12:18.280 people in a room you have to knock heads and you have to get it done so and that would mean that would

00:12:23.100 mean saying things to putin and saying things to zielinski that they're not going to want to hear

00:12:28.960 and getting them into a room and getting it done people are dying by the thousands you know glenn when i

00:12:35.240 see the reports that they knock down a city you know these cities are being leveled there's not a

00:12:39.100 building standing in a lot of these cities i've seen pictures that maybe other people don't get to

00:12:44.080 see maybe they do but or take a look at the newspaper when they have a topographical picture of a city

00:12:50.180 there's a one building standing it's incredible and then they say uh one person died and three people

00:12:57.900 were injured no no many people died right many people were badly injured and we're not getting the

00:13:03.860 true facts about what's happening in this war let me ask you one one more question because i know

00:13:07.940 you're on such a tight schedule so let me just ask you one more question china is now offering to 0.99

00:13:12.420 negotiate the peace there but the chinese just flew a spy balloon which you know we didn't shoot down 1.00

00:13:20.020 but today we're finding out that a u2 spy plane took pictures of it it had a payload the size of three

00:13:27.760 different buses it was being navigated solar panels creating energy for it and we allowed it to fly

00:13:35.820 over our missile silos and strategic air command this is dereliction of duty if if we're being kind

00:13:46.300 well there are those that say as you know that biden and the biden family are truly conflicted

00:13:56.300 and compromised with respect to china uh there's a lot of money going around and it's substantial

00:14:03.580 money and big money and decisions are being made i mean when you look at what they're doing to us on

00:14:09.180 trade they're giving back so much of what i won and it's crazy it doesn't make sense it's like the

00:14:15.060 border it doesn't make sense to allow it will be 15 million people pretty soon 15 million it was not

00:14:22.080 three they used to say three the people are pouring in at will i'm watching hospitals are being overrun

00:14:28.580 and everything is being overrun by people that are coming out of their prisons are coming out of their

00:14:35.780 mental institutions they're overrunning our country who would say that that's good i mean what person 0.99

00:14:43.680 would say that that's good but with china they are perhaps compromised by china because decisions are 1.00

00:14:51.180 being made that are very strange as an example why wouldn't that have been shot down long before

00:14:56.740 because those messages don't sit in that balloon there's a message are the messages are immediately

00:15:03.060 transmitted on the second they're immediately transmitted so this thing flew all across our country

00:15:09.620 did its work it probably had nothing left to do it was heading back and then they shot it down the

00:15:16.620 whole thing is crazy so many things are are so wrong why don't we have voter id why are they allowing

00:15:24.880 millions of people and many of these people are terrorists and people that are going to be causing

00:15:30.540 us from we're going to be feeling the border for many years to come no matter who it is we're going to

00:15:36.020 feel again they are destroying and poisoning our country and you say why are they doing this why are

00:15:42.260 they doing it but this is a family that could very well be compromised because why are they allowing

00:15:47.920 this to happen with respect to china at the same time the ultimate sin is taking place and i learned

00:15:54.940 this when i was a young student studying history never let china and russia unify yeah and we have let

00:16:03.200 them unify we force them into a unification we have and that's the most dangerous thing that can happen

00:16:08.860 to our country mr president i your people are giving us the high sign uh that you have got to

00:16:14.820 go i hope we have a chance to talk again soon uh it's been a while it's good to talk to you sir

00:16:20.580 thank you so much anytime thank you very much thanks len you bet bubby see you soon bye

00:16:25.680 this is the best of the glenbeck program

00:16:32.800 arthur brooks uh brother from another mother and every time we talk to each other we both go

00:16:43.320 why are we not talking to each other all the time how are you arthur yeah i'm doing great how

00:16:48.840 you doing brother glenn uh i'm good i'm good um you know i i reached out to you what was it about

00:16:55.360 a month ago and then so many things have happened we've had to keep rescheduling but um i wanted to

00:17:01.540 talk to you because i've i've had um i've had three children that have been suicidal in the last

00:17:09.900 uh year and believe it or not none of it had to do with what i talked to them about at the dinner table

00:17:15.900 um it is there is something going on now um that is just sucking our children into profound darkness

00:17:27.840 hopelessness and meaninglessness and uh i wanted to get your take on it because i'm sitting there and

00:17:37.080 i have access to resources i i am lucky enough to have a stable home situation with my wife we're

00:17:44.760 great partners i have great relationship with my kids all of my kids came to me and or my wife and

00:17:52.320 said i'm in trouble that doesn't always happen and even i and my wife were overwhelmed what do we do

00:18:00.200 so can you walk us through some of these things of what's going on yeah no i as a social scientist

00:18:07.060 obviously this is getting a lot of my attention right now and as a happiness specialist this is

00:18:11.700 really critical everybody wants to be happy your kids want to be happy we want to be happy and look

00:18:16.840 we all struggle this whole idea that you know is being that we're being told increasingly over the

00:18:23.440 past few decades that you have depression or you don't have depression you have anxiety you don't

00:18:28.620 have anxiety these are not switches glenn these are dials and everybody is suffering in different ways

00:18:34.480 this is the important thing for us to keep in mind what we want to diagnosis and then treatment

00:18:39.220 and treat it in some way that will get rid of the problem forever the truth of the matter is that

00:18:43.920 there's a lot of suffering in life and you and i are christian men we know that that suffering is

00:18:49.380 very very sacred but when you take the sacred out of the suffering you're going to be a big

00:18:55.020 trouble and that's what's happening to young people and a lot of not so young people today

00:18:59.160 can you wait wait can you explain can you explain we take the suffering out of of uh what what did

00:19:06.160 you just say sacredness out of suffering yeah sacredness out of suffering this is the thing i mean back in

00:19:11.560 back in the 60s you know i got no you know i got every kind of beef with the hippies and you do too

00:19:17.200 they had they had a very they had a really terrible life strategy that was if it feels good do it i

00:19:24.180 remember when my dad my dad you know you and i were little kids you know and that stuff was going

00:19:28.200 down i remember my dad watching a hippie on tv saying that he's like that's the end of america

00:19:32.240 and the same thing that's the same thing he was kind of right but you know that but you know what

00:19:40.640 it's much worse now because now our young people are being told if it hurts make it stop because

00:19:46.940 unhappiness is your enemy and it's evidence that something's wrong with you there's something

00:19:51.800 defective with you you know the truth of the matter is that getting from one end of the day to another

00:19:56.940 has many joys and it has many sorrows and what we need to do is to understand ourselves to love each

00:20:03.340 other to support each other and that's exactly not what we're doing i mean social scientists like me

00:20:09.060 we look at this from you know 40 angles and you find all these influences that are doing it but

00:20:14.420 all together here's what's going on our society is giving us one substitute for another for the

00:20:21.280 sources of love in our life that can put all of our feelings and all of our experiences the context

00:20:25.680 social media is substituting for human love dating apps are substituting for meeting real people

00:20:32.620 we find that that uh that the technocracy and government is pulling our our communities apart

00:20:38.820 it's fragmenting our families it's making it easier to not work it's making it harder and harder for us to

00:20:45.300 practice our faith love is declining and tech and technology is increasing and the result of all of that is that

00:20:52.660 people don't have any way to understand the nature of what their life actually means and and none of us

00:20:59.260 are safe glenn i mean none of us are safe and our kids aren't safe from this i mean the truth is that

00:21:04.860 you know there's four strategies to be happier in life and they're all about love there's faith

00:21:10.320 there's family there's friendship and there's work where we serve our sisters and brothers look at that

00:21:16.680 divine you know everything all four all four points or pillars are under attack absolutely you know we

00:21:27.120 are and again there's nobody and you can say there's a dark force behind this but you're not going to say

00:21:31.820 that there's some person in government or some tech executive that's trying to attack these things no

00:21:37.080 but what they're giving us is inadequate substitutes for the sources of love in our life and the people

00:21:42.860 who are most prone to seeing these things and getting addicted to these things and the neurophysiology of

00:21:47.900 this is very clear you can get addicted to smartphones just as easily as you can get addicted to gambling or

00:21:54.420 methamphetamine or you know highly glycemic carbohydrates for that matter or alcohol or or other horrible horrible

00:22:01.360 love destroying things like pornography they're what they do is they give you a neurochemical high

00:22:07.680 instead of the love that you actually crave and that's what's going on and young people are the

00:22:13.340 ones who their brains aren't developed as much their their values aren't developed as much and they're

00:22:18.740 very easy to fool and they're being used for money one other thing glenn by the way you know in our

00:22:25.240 society today which is unbelievably polarized baby boomers people our age and older are conscripting 0.59

00:22:32.920 child soldiers into their culture war and we're freaking them out we're making them say that if

00:22:38.820 you disagree with my views on the climate then you're evil that if you disagree with my ideas on

00:22:44.820 covid then you're evil i'm going to cancel you and this is going on on our side on the right that's 0.96

00:22:49.060 going on the other side of the left and we got to stop doing that too because that's a zombie religion 0.96

00:22:53.960 and it's not going to help uh you know arthur i will tell you at the i hope we're at the end of

00:23:02.240 of this uh crisis in our family um and it has been um the hardest probably six months or a year

00:23:11.060 uh of my life my wife's life and our relationship together and we got to the we got to the end of this

00:23:21.560 and i said or hopefully the end of it and i said um i said to tanya i well we made it can't believe

00:23:30.440 what it what did what did we learn and we were talking about it and i think what we learned is

00:23:37.460 our faith our faith in god was mature enough to be able to say we can't fix everything and

00:23:48.760 we have to give this over to god do what we have to do and all that we can do but the outcome is not

00:23:57.440 in our hands and uh even if it's a bad outcome it will work for his purposes we'll find good in it

00:24:08.700 eventually and uh that's that sounds crazy to say but it's what got us through you know what you just

00:24:17.880 told me is that there's sacredness and suffering yes you said it more eloquently than i ever could

00:24:22.960 have because what you understood and this is the the growth that actually comes from the trauma of

00:24:28.260 life and that brings us closer to each other and it brings us closer to god is that actually only when

00:24:33.420 we can understand the nature of our suffering what we're learning from it how we're loving each other

00:24:37.740 better then do we understand what it means to be fully alive and putting one foot in front of the

00:24:42.340 other on this earth but if we're going through life and you know the campus counseling center is

00:24:47.540 saying if you're feeling any sort of you're feeling any sort of sadness you better get in for counseling

00:24:52.480 right now and and and you know because of liability reasons you know and that everybody's pounding our

00:24:59.660 kids with this idea that if you feel rotten something's defective about you something's wrong with you

00:25:04.760 and and is bleeding over to our generation too it's a huge mistake what we need to do is to

00:25:10.980 understand that look life is is a huge adventure there's a lot of good there's a lot of bad and

00:25:18.580 and you know every day if we can get down on our knees and thank the lord for all of it every single

00:25:24.160 bit of it this is the day that the lord has made i will rejoice and be glad in it not i'm going to enjoy

00:25:28.940 it right right right so so um arthur when you when you look at um what what's happening and you you try to

00:25:43.740 navigate through it one of the things that i had a problem with and i we went to many doctors to talk

00:25:49.980 to them before our kids ever saw uh any of them uh and and i wanted to know look i'm from a generation

00:25:59.540 that would have said you relate to this get up get stop whining about it get to work go do stuff focus

00:26:08.740 you know what i mean and right and now all of society is like no no no no don't do that don't do that

00:26:16.580 and i i asked the therapist i said i don't know what's real and what has been caused by society

00:26:25.000 you know what i mean i don't know if i'm doing more damage by being careful uh or i do more damage by

00:26:33.400 doing what my grandfather would have done and right um and they said they don't really know because

00:26:39.760 this is so new and it's sometimes a combination of both of them yeah can you comment on that at all

00:26:49.020 yeah no there's a huge amount of mystery in shrouding this i mean the whole and and the truth of the

00:26:54.160 matter is that we go through waves of of incredible intellectual or or psychological distress this goes

00:27:00.200 in in waves and it has throughout society going back literally hundreds of years so you'll find for

00:27:06.560 example remember when you and i were little kids and there was a huge huge problem of kids running

00:27:11.080 off and joining cults yeah you remember that yeah yeah and and it's like and then it stopped you know

00:27:16.260 it stopped you know all of these self-harmful behaviors you know there was a time you know back

00:27:21.460 when there was this book called civil in the 1970s yeah about a woman with six personalities and there

00:27:27.180 was this unbelievable explosion of people that were reporting to mental health authorities to you know

00:27:33.860 doctor's offices into hospitals with multiple personalities i mean we don't understand why

00:27:39.340 these things happen whether there's suggestion you know how much of these things are actually coming

00:27:44.020 from you know what's reality and what actually isn't but we do know is there's the stress and there

00:27:49.160 are we do know some things that actually work and that all of us can do right now and especially

00:27:54.000 as parents there's a bunch of parents listening to us and they're relating to you in a big way

00:27:57.600 and i talk to people all the time it doesn't matter if you're rich or you're poor

00:28:01.820 you're subject to this because you know our kids are walking around in this society today number one

00:28:06.660 tough love is fine but it's got to be love more than tough yes and so it's saying to your kids

00:28:13.060 no matter what happens we're gonna be together no matter what happens we can and guess what there's

00:28:19.380 a solution to literally everything you rob a bank i'm gonna still love you and you know don't freak

00:28:26.560 out it is so freak out what's something wrong with your kids it is so weird when you get into

00:28:32.480 this situation you how much your kids think whatever it is they've done or whatever it is

00:28:39.700 they're thinking that it's unforgivable and they won't be loved and you think that's universal

00:28:45.040 and when when tanya and i um we would sit down with the kids and they would talk to us about what

00:28:52.420 they were going through what they were thinking or what they had done or whatever there were times

00:28:56.740 that tanya and i i know we're inside going ah um but we just we had agreed before do not react

00:29:06.340 don't react and then just say you know what let's pray on it and give ourselves time to decompress

00:29:13.680 and when i said to each one of the kids whatever it is they were dealing with

00:29:18.400 you know even if this goes you know horribly awry and your life doesn't go any way the way you think

00:29:26.040 it's going to you know that we're always your parents you know that uh you know if you you know

00:29:33.240 if you ever did something it caused you to go to jail we're still the ones that are going to be

00:29:37.980 visiting you because we'll always love you and each of them broke down at that moment and it shocked me

00:29:46.840 because we have such a good relationship with our kids that i thought they would know that but

00:29:52.480 sometimes you have to say it to them yeah there's so many things that you need to make overt in these

00:29:58.500 relationships and it's i mean glenn the data is so interesting about how kids learn about these

00:30:04.260 values now remember when you and i first understood our relationship to the master first understood our

00:30:11.020 relationship to god that was when your first baby was born yeah and and you're like oh that's how

00:30:17.180 god loves me well your kids haven't had kids yet they don't know that they don't understand the nature

00:30:22.660 of of of mystical you know love that's unencumbered by outside values that you are going to love them

00:30:29.140 forever they don't know that you know there's a lot of other interesting things that we forget as

00:30:33.760 parents you know i have this is just some very interesting data that show for example that

00:30:37.700 because i talk to people who fret a lot you know how do i'm christian people jewish people muslim

00:30:43.140 people they want their kids to grow up in the faith and they see all these kids wandering away

00:30:47.260 and and being miserable as a result they ask me they ask me a lot what's the number one thing i can

00:30:51.980 do and the number one thing that you can do to make sure your kids practice the faith is see their

00:30:58.140 dad practicing the faith yes and there's a reason for that as a little kid the strongest human being

00:31:04.160 you've ever seen in your life is your father i mean my dad i thought he was like six foot two and i

00:31:09.520 thought he could lift a house now my dad was a college professor so there was not a lot of lifting

00:31:13.960 going on but i didn't know that right and uh and i'm telling you here's the deal my dad bent the knee

00:31:21.920 to no man but my dad was on his knees saying his prayers with me at night and was on his knees on

00:31:28.920 sunday yeah and i saw that and had a big impact on me your kids learned that way with the way that

00:31:35.080 you love unconditionally the way that you worship with faith the way that you offer up your own

00:31:40.040 troubles and trials and put them at the foot of the cross the way that that you love your life

00:31:45.760 unconditionally

00:31:46.820 you're listening to the best of the glenbeck program

00:31:52.280 welcome to the glenbeck program we have mr bill o'reilly who is here to talk to us about the

00:32:01.660 biggest news of the week hello bill how are you what kind of music is that you know i mean it sounds

00:32:08.420 like some kind of zombie music you know it is well because it's kind of like uh you know dawn of the

00:32:16.000 dead uh zombies it's kind of like you know we've we look at you it's spooky music torn pants and and

00:32:23.280 i may be i may be too frightened to do this interview i know okay all right so uh biggest story of the

00:32:29.440 week okay uh obviously the war in ukraine one year anniversary um biden going there it's a huge story

00:32:36.900 and then the destruction uh self-destruction of pete buddha judge his um national political career is

00:32:45.180 over so we have one domestic major story and one foreign let's say so hang on just a second let's 1.00

00:32:52.280 start with a pete buddha judge you think that it is destroyed i think he is such the idiot uh and so 0.99

00:33:00.720 incompetent that that's who those in power look to run i think i think the democrats are looking at it 0.99

00:33:08.280 going well he's qualified back i will submit to you that there is not one

00:33:14.840 person listening to us right now all the millions of people yeah tuned into back right not one would

00:33:23.880 cast a ballot for pete buddha judge i hope you're right but i can't count on anything i've been wrong

00:33:32.060 no i'm never wrong i know he's done and i'll tell you why it's very simple um americans have suffered at

00:33:40.680 the hands of the airlines for two years he's the secretary of transportation has done bupkis nothing

00:33:47.640 doesn't care you can be you know your baggage can wind up in bangladesh you could be sleeping in the

00:33:55.680 airport for four days and the federal government with oversight over the airlines does nothing that's

00:34:03.400 number one so people already uh despise him three weeks to go to a toxic train crash and and really

00:34:13.040 only went because trump made him look so bad yeah well i think the biden people were uh gonna order

00:34:19.200 him to go anyway but they sped it up but then the question becomes what the deuce does he do all day

00:34:27.440 what is he doing this isn't like doing a talk show for three hours every day okay

00:34:34.520 he sits there at his little desk right well i need some personal time yeah you know what i i mean

00:34:44.840 enough enough i was i was indiana please i was i'm fascinated by the story about personal time

00:34:52.460 because that became the story but the part of that interview with that daily caller person that

00:34:58.400 was walking alongside a buddha judge at night and when he said the last thing he said was may i have

00:35:04.600 a picture of you and he took a picture of the journalist and my question is why what was it he wanted and i

00:35:13.980 pointed that out and i think yesterday they somebody in the press asked him why did you want that picture

00:35:19.760 what are you doing with that picture and they wouldn't answer i believe it was just uh an attempt

00:35:25.700 to be charming or to throw her off or whatever it may be i don't think there's any sinister motive i

00:35:32.000 don't think the guy thinks fast enough for that i remember when i was when i was young and naive

00:35:37.400 you remember when you were young and naive back okay that was three days ago all right all right

00:35:46.040 uh all right so now let's go to uh zelinski and the one-year anniversary today right so i mean this

00:35:55.980 is a situation that uh is being exploited by some in the media which torques me off because this is

00:36:04.440 very dangerous extremely dangerous particularly with china you know on the on the uh out uh skirts of this 1.00

00:36:11.840 story so i brought a guy uh this week who i think is the best expert of russia china in

00:36:17.640 the country his name is dr graham allison he's uh a harvard guy was the dean of the kennedy school

00:36:25.460 when i attended there i've known him for 30 years and he still speaks to me kind of like you back

00:36:30.140 you know if you're so very rare right yeah you know so anyway allison comes on and he is he's an

00:36:36.280 intellectual guy he's not you know a pie thrower and he's basically saying look this it's a very

00:36:45.100 dangerous place the world is a dangerous place and simplistic solutions for exploiting this horrible

00:36:53.740 tragedy for political gain is wrong and you have to be methodical and patient and play the chess game

00:37:03.060 and hope that putin just self-destructs which is possible i mean you got a thousand casualties a

00:37:11.540 day going back to russia dead and wounded a thousand all right and now they're going to throw all of 0.99

00:37:18.200 these untrained conscripts against hardened motivated ukraine fighters and you know that it's going to be

00:37:26.780 10 to 1 casualties against the russians so you know you you have to hold on here and now we got

00:37:37.720 she going in april it looks like to moscow i don't think china is going to help them out militarily

00:37:44.080 because then sanctions will be slapped on china but this is the highest level and here's what really

00:37:50.320 worries me biden is not competent to handle this it's not that he did anything wrong and i and i

00:37:57.700 supported his trip to uh ukraine and poland because that raises the morale in europe that's what that

00:38:07.300 was all about it wasn't about the united states it was we got favorable coverage the united states for

00:38:13.560 one of the few times he goes in and we need europe to back ukraine that's what that was all about

00:38:20.180 okay but in the larger uh picture i mean joe biden he has no capacity to understand the subtleties

00:38:30.040 of this danger emanating from russia and china are you how concerned are you that this is leading us

00:38:39.320 into or away from a proxy war and much closer into a uh a war with with russia and china and and uh the

00:38:51.140 united states kind of at each other's throats well you know i'm not worried that there's going to be a

00:38:57.160 shoot war at this point okay i don't see the flash point that would lead to that and people say what

00:39:04.760 about the money yeah i mean it's ridiculous that we have to spend 150 billion dollars you know to send

00:39:13.360 to ukraine but it will be 10 times more if putin then would win that and then pick off belarus and 0.67

00:39:22.460 moldova and you know because he's not going to stop it's not like putin's going to go okay i got

00:39:26.660 ukraine now i'm happy and i'm not going to cause any more trouble two days ago i talked about this

00:39:31.160 nobody nobody seems to care about this for some reason he just annexed moldova yeah i but he didn't

00:39:38.780 physically annex them because he he doesn't have the troops to occupy it correct but he did annex it

00:39:45.340 he just said look i'm taking moldova but americans don't understand this because a it's far away

00:39:52.900 b whatever the media reports now the american people don't believe i mean we're in a place

00:40:01.380 in history where the major corporate media says stuff and most americans don't believe it yeah i

00:40:09.200 know i know i mean but wait a minute so with with moldova though the problem is as i pointed out earlier

00:40:15.220 today the problem is 800 000 moldovians have dual citizenship as nato citizens so if something does

00:40:25.640 go down there would that could that be used i hope so i could he doesn't have he doesn't have the

00:40:32.880 logistical capacity if you look at the map no i know it's landlocked i know right so he can't

00:40:38.560 it the supply lines now from russia into ukraine are dubious to say the least i mean this guy

00:40:47.000 putin he's in military trouble and that's why i'm i i say to my audience and everyone else hold on

00:40:56.620 okay this is not going to get better for him it's going to deteriorate the only people that could save

00:41:02.840 him would be the chinese if the chinese come in and say yeah we're going to give you all the ammunition 0.99

00:41:07.280 and arms you want that would be a game breaker that okay i don't think they're going to do it

00:41:13.700 because that would destroy the chinese economy all right let me ask you one one more question and

00:41:18.160 that's on china we know that you know this chinese balloon came across joe biden said we think it's a

00:41:24.220 weather balloon we're not really sure what it is yada yada yada right um we now know we found out

00:41:29.400 i think either at the beginning of the week or in the end of last week that the pentagon had been

00:41:34.060 tracking that since its launch in china okay so they knew all about it now we find out yesterday

00:41:41.240 that a u2 spy plane took high definition photos of the payload it was the size of three school buses

00:41:50.760 it was navigating um controlled navigation powered by satellite i mean sorry a solar array it had cameras

00:41:59.740 satellite uh response antennas and it navigated over all of our missile sites and then over strategic

00:42:09.020 air command what i mean bill they lied and lied and lied what does that mean it means they don't know

00:42:19.400 what they're doing and that that was my point about the big picture with putin you got a president

00:42:25.020 who doesn't know what he's doing and then you know the balloon thing does go into the secretary

00:42:31.620 of transportation buddha judge says you know his latest pronouncement was can i get a ride in the

00:42:36.600 balloon and that's not you know no it's it's already destroyed we're dealing with incompetence 0.99

00:42:43.360 in washington dc at a frightening frightening level i mean i think it is run by imbeciles it is run 0.98

00:42:52.760 by incompetence but there is strategy somewhere that inflation reduction act it is it's brilliantly 0.96

00:43:02.480 written because it has pieces of stuff all through it that have not been put together yet so somebody

00:43:09.780 is planning and plotting and it's not good yeah i mean if if the democrats win again in 24 you know

00:43:17.780 i'm looking at property in the bahamas so uh it's i can't imagine that what happened by the way

00:43:24.800 i just can't imagine that the american people would be foolish enough to cast a vote for any democrat

00:43:30.620 laurie lightfoot's going to get booted on tuesday all right kim gardner in st louis the da's got fired 1.00

00:43:37.500 yesterday that was great thank you to the attorney general there right and you're seeing now this

00:43:43.740 backlash coming fairly aggressively against these anti-american people who want to break our society

00:43:51.860 apart so they can put it back together again in the vision of bernie sanders i mean that's what this

00:43:58.180 is all about and and so americans have got to kind of wise up but the problem is they can't put on the

00:44:05.840 television set and get any information yeah i mean because the information is all skewed toward helping

00:44:14.460 the biden administration and it's also not just all uh skewed it's talking about the wrong things

00:44:23.600 it's not we are not talking about what does this war mean should we be even in there you know you

00:44:32.400 remember the days bill it weren't that long ago that we would debate things like this on the floor

00:44:38.080 of the house nobody's debating it if you go to billoreilly.com and you punch up dr graham allison

00:44:44.160 you'll see the best i think uh overall assessment of what's happening now i have a question for you do

00:44:50.160 we have time for that idea uh we've got about uh 45 seconds to a minute okay do you think that uh all

00:44:57.000 revelations against our alma mater fox news is gonna have a long-term effect on our organization

00:45:03.200 what is what are the revelations i don't know if i've heard them no yes you have i mean the uh

00:45:08.380 reporting on uh on the election fraud oh okay um i you know i i i don't know i think all of that

00:45:18.820 stuff's done anyway bill i think it's just nails in a coffin over and over and over again what if they

00:45:25.200 lose uh a billion dollars in the lawsuit that begins in april in delaware uh yeah i think that

00:45:31.500 is it's going to have a real big effect but i i think it'll lose i don't know do you i think they

00:45:38.760 could i think they definitely could no doubt and i think they may settle because you know the

00:45:45.480 principals and out of corporation they don't want to be going to delaware sitting in there

00:45:48.920 having to testify i know i know let's talk about that next week can we okay let's remind me of

00:45:54.900 thanks so much bill
