The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program TGIF with Bill O'Reilly ｜ 9⧸21⧸18

00:00:00.060 The Blaze Radio Network, on demand.

00:00:05.980 Hey, welcome to the podcast.

00:00:07.700 It's Glenn.

00:00:08.880 Stu is now on a plane, winging his way towards France.

00:00:14.560 Yes, for anyone who thought he was a traitor to our nation,

00:00:18.040 it is very, very clear that that's exactly what he is.

00:00:21.340 He's on vacation in France.

00:00:22.680 Who does that?

00:00:24.240 Oh.

00:00:25.360 But on the podcast today, really excited to share it with you.

00:00:28.760 We have Spartacus, you know, sowing the seeds of love.

00:00:32.460 Desperate to be president in 2020.

00:00:35.120 Although I think that Ohio may have a different idea for president.

00:00:40.340 There was one man that changed everything.

00:00:44.020 Just last night.

00:00:45.620 The breaker of chains.

00:00:47.640 The freer of beers.

00:00:50.040 We'll talk about that coming up.

00:00:52.060 Also, every Friday, we have Bill O'Reilly.

00:00:54.720 We talk about Kavanaugh versus the media.

00:00:57.820 The Salem witch trials.

00:00:59.400 It's crazy, crazy stuff that is going on.

00:01:02.640 Can you even question allegations anymore with Bill O'Reilly? 0.61

00:01:06.980 And another victory for tone-deaf feminist. 0.94

00:01:10.280 Mansplaining is on the decline here in America.

00:01:12.680 Of course, things for women around the rest of the world are kind of bad. 0.88

00:01:17.680 And we bring our Frankenstein jury.

00:01:20.140 We dig up old women from the past that might have a thing or two to say about, 0.96

00:01:25.180 yeah, let's not listen to the accuser.

00:01:26.960 Or let's listen just to the facts.

00:01:30.440 We all have that coming up on the podcast.

00:01:32.700 And don't forget that on tomorrow, on Saturday, another podcast.

00:01:36.740 It's a commercial-free, uninterrupted special.

00:01:40.560 I think this one runs almost two hours.

00:01:43.000 It's Michael Reckenwald.

00:01:44.680 This guy is, he is one of the bravest people I know.

00:01:48.400 He was a communist.

00:01:50.040 He was a, he's a guy who was all into post-modernism.

00:01:55.520 He now sees post-modernism becoming social justice, and it terrifies him.

00:02:01.440 He started speaking out, and he was removed from the faculty of NYU.

00:02:07.360 That's on tomorrow, his first nationwide interview.

00:02:11.540 It is an amazing tale.

00:02:13.600 You'll learn an awful lot.

00:02:15.120 And it's kind of a companion to my book that just came out this week, Addicted to Outrage.

00:02:21.800 Okay, let's get started.

00:02:23.020 It's the Friday Podcast.

00:02:23.960 You're listening to The Best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:02:36.760 It's Friday, September 21st.

00:02:39.920 Glenn Beck.

00:02:42.280 Well, it's Friday, Americans.

00:02:46.340 I'm glad you're here.

00:02:48.780 So we can talk about Spartacus.

00:02:51.460 So we can talk about Spartacus.

00:02:53.960 I looked for a dead whale story that was put into a dumpster and didn't fit, but I couldn't find anything.

00:03:00.200 So I got no choice but to start with Spartacus, Cory Booker, of course.

00:03:05.460 He's got to be exhausted.

00:03:07.680 I mean, all week.

00:03:09.060 No, I'm telling you, I am Spartacus.

00:03:13.460 And all the sacrifices that he's making.

00:03:15.980 I mean, I'm glad I have, in today's world, a chance to point to my kids, real heroes.

00:03:24.800 Son, he is Spartacus.

00:03:28.780 And see that guy, you know, in the Nike ad?

00:03:34.940 He's practically Martin Luther King.

00:03:38.040 The sacrifice today is incredible.

00:03:43.200 You know, but Spartacus is doing it for the greater good.

00:03:46.380 You know, someone who's willing to step up and lead.

00:03:49.520 But first, you have to create that I am Spartacus moment.

00:03:54.320 And Cory Booker, I think, has done it.

00:03:57.020 He's got to be exhausted between all of the grandstanding that he's been doing during the Kavanaugh, you know, hearings.

00:04:03.820 And now out on the campaign trail.

00:04:06.260 Laboring.

00:04:07.060 Laboring.

00:04:07.700 Dare I say it?

00:04:08.720 Laboring in the fields for the Democrats, which is really the way the Democrats like that.

00:04:16.320 But anyway, Democrats, he's out there for you in Nevada, bringing out, you know, the rubbing of elbows, you know, with the common folk.

00:04:25.940 You know, all of them, I'm sure, wearing a bracelet that says WWSD.

00:04:30.880 What would Spartacus do?

00:04:33.280 Well, I think we know.

00:04:35.820 Spartacus would run for president.

00:04:37.140 Now, Cory Booker, now this, I think New York Magazine had to pull this out of him.

00:04:44.460 They asked him, brave, brave question.

00:04:48.500 So, would you think about running for the presidency?

00:04:53.640 What is the humble, the humble Cory Booker, the man who, you had to practically drag the I am Spartacus out of him.

00:05:04.540 What was, what was his response?

00:05:06.480 Quote, of course, the presidency is something I would consider.

00:05:11.280 I mean, it would be irresponsible not to consider it.

00:05:15.240 It would be irresponsible not to consider it.

00:05:20.200 You know, when the people speak like this, I mean, and you are graced with being Cory Booker.

00:05:28.460 It is really irresponsible for me not to consider leading the peasants out of their plight.

00:05:36.900 You know what I'm saying?

00:05:38.180 There's nothing, there's nothing quite like old-fashioned, virtuous martyrdom.

00:05:45.100 I haven't seen it since Jesus.

00:05:48.140 And when it's authentic like it was with Jesus and Cory Booker, it's stunning.

00:05:55.060 Now, if you're Cory Booker, I don't think you need to paint yourself as such a responsible, sacrificial guy when you get the New York Magazine profiles, especially the one like this.

00:06:07.980 The actual headline is, can I get a hug?

00:06:11.780 Cory Booker's got a lot of love to give, and he's betting that's what it's going to take to win in 2020.

00:06:20.520 Oh, my gosh.

00:06:22.920 So he has responsibility.

00:06:26.700 He's Spartacus. 0.62

00:06:28.740 And he has a lot of love.

00:06:31.400 I mean, Democrats, you've got to just skip the whole convention process and hand the nomination to Cory Booker right now because I think he's the one.

00:06:43.520 I think he's the one to beat Donald Trump.

00:06:46.600 Oh, it's going to work.

00:06:49.040 Take that again.

00:06:50.520 Stations, edit that part out.

00:06:52.680 I think it's going to work.

00:06:55.300 After all, he's Spartacus.

00:06:59.060 Now, the New York Magazine puff piece doesn't stop at the headline.

00:07:02.740 It goes further.

00:07:03.960 It compares Booker to Mr. Rogers.

00:07:08.800 And Booker, I'm quoting, Booker is radically, almost comically out of step with Trump's kind of politics on a human being level.

00:07:19.940 He is, he's an unlikely person.

00:07:23.080 I mean, he is, unlike anybody else who has made this serious bid for the presidency in our lifetime, he's probably the most genuine.

00:07:36.980 I don't think he's Spartacus.

00:07:41.580 He may be God.

00:07:42.360 So, in addition to being the most responsible pro-hug human being ever to grace the campaign trail, ever, ever, at least in our lifetime, Booker also has the amazing vision for the country.

00:07:53.700 He wants to legalize marijuana nationwide, which I think is on the top of everybody's list.

00:07:59.860 Go ahead, say it.

00:08:00.720 Try to deny it.

00:08:01.480 You can't.

00:08:02.500 He wants to provide Medicare for all, which is what we said that Barack Obama was leading us into because Obamacare wouldn't work.

00:08:13.600 And so, we would be stuck with universal government health care, you know, Medicare for all.

00:08:19.140 And they called me a racist for saying that.

00:08:22.260 I don't, well, maybe it's because I wasn't Spartacus.

00:08:25.980 He also wants to guarantee federal jobs for every American that needs one.

00:08:30.080 Now, as a junior senator, that is not easy to pull off, but as Spartacus, as President Spartacus, last night, I believe, even Spartacus wept.

00:08:51.320 Most wept with joy, but I think he wept without out and out fear because, of course, we all know,

00:08:59.640 the only one that could possibly beat Spartacus just might be the next president of the United States, Baker Mayfield.

00:09:10.840 Somebody in the Democratic Party, before they realized he was from Texas, somebody in the Democratic Party that didn't see that last night went,

00:09:20.180 he could win Ohio.

00:09:22.180 Put him on, at least VP.

00:09:24.000 Throw him on there as VP.

00:09:25.980 Yeah, let's talk to him.

00:09:27.300 They were all I bet they were on the ground before they had that chair of the chain off of the Bud Lights.

00:09:34.000 Yeah, I think they were on the ground.

00:09:35.580 Nancy Pelosi is like, get me a plane. 1.00

00:09:38.140 Get me a plane.

00:09:39.700 He wouldn't constitutionally qualify, of course.

00:09:41.580 But when has that ever stopped a Democrat before?

00:09:44.060 Why would he constitutionally qualify?

00:09:46.320 Right.

00:09:46.660 He's got to be 35 to be president of the United States.

00:09:48.800 Oh, we don't care about stuff like that.

00:09:51.140 Oh, OK.

00:09:52.000 That's good.

00:09:52.660 No.

00:09:53.220 What we care about is...

00:09:53.960 He's the guy who can lead us out of the darkness.

00:09:56.900 Now, again, I think he's from Texas.

00:10:01.020 But then again, you know, for the heck of it, I throw in, so is, so is, what's his name?

00:10:10.200 Robert Francis.

00:10:11.920 Oh, Robert Francis O'Rourke?

00:10:14.120 Yeah.

00:10:14.540 Oh, OK.

00:10:15.140 Yeah.

00:10:15.420 We don't like to call him Beto on this network.

00:10:16.840 Oh, wee little Robert O'Francis Beto.

00:10:21.020 I'm so glad you brought up Cory Booker to start the show.

00:10:23.500 I am absolutely fascinated by the way he is handling the current situation with Brett Kavanaugh.

00:10:29.680 Because here is a guy who is currently saying, we must find out the truth about this accusation that has been made against Brett Kavanaugh.

00:10:40.800 That he may, back 36 years ago, have groped a girl when he was a teenager.

00:10:49.360 And that's a serious accusation.

00:10:51.280 We must know the answer to it.

00:10:52.740 Now, there's no evidence supporting it, right?

00:10:55.040 Right, right.

00:10:55.700 But there is, like, her accusation, and it should be aired out, and we should know exactly what's going on. 0.97

00:11:00.860 And he's been the one, like, at the top of the list, calling for this and harassing, you know, Kavanaugh to try to get him to be pressured into saying something stupid or stepping down. 0.81

00:11:11.360 Now, is he saying that if you did something like this, you can't, of course, serve in a position of power like Supreme Court justice? 0.96

00:11:19.600 Yeah, right.

00:11:20.040 Because, I mean, how could you, Glenn?

00:11:21.520 I mean, you're one of nine there.

00:11:23.660 You understand?

00:11:24.080 And you're one of nine in a very important role.

00:11:26.540 And if you can't show the judgment to stop groping people when you're a teenager, obviously you should not be in a position of power like that.

00:11:33.820 One of nine would be bad.

00:11:35.140 One of nine would be bad.

00:11:36.980 Now, it's an interesting thing, as he, everybody expects, even he's basically telling you he's running for president in 2020.

00:11:45.640 Which is one of one.

00:11:46.720 I just want to.

00:11:47.220 One of one, right.

00:11:48.060 It would be even a higher level gig than the Supreme Court.

00:11:51.560 He himself has admitted to groping a 15-year-old girl when he was a teenager.

00:12:03.420 The exact same thing Brett Kavanaugh is accused of, Cory Booker has admitted to in his own writings.

00:12:12.480 Not only has he admitted to them, he's done it more recently than Brett Kavanaugh is accused of doing it.

00:12:20.980 Oh, my God.

00:12:21.700 Which is kind of interesting.

00:12:24.020 The other thing that's.

00:12:25.160 No, it's interesting to you as a conservative.

00:12:27.800 It's interesting to half of the country.

00:12:29.940 It's a racist smear to the other half.

00:12:33.760 Really?

00:12:34.320 And completely irrelevant.

00:12:36.080 You know, it's a little like Keith Ellison.

00:12:38.060 Is it?

00:12:39.040 Yeah.

00:12:39.520 Well, exactly.

00:12:40.620 I think they, I think, I think I can understand.

00:12:43.540 I think I can understand how Democrats look at these stories.

00:12:48.100 When Cory Booker does it, you know, of course, it's racist to point it out.

00:12:52.420 If, if Keith Ellison does it, there's no evidence of that.

00:12:56.780 I mean, except for the, the text messages, the videotape, the documentation from the hospital.

00:13:05.140 It looks like now documentation from the hospital.

00:13:08.380 But other than that, other than that, it's not credible.

00:13:12.160 Right, exactly.

00:13:13.260 Now, when Brett Kavanaugh, there is no indication outside of her saying it this year.

00:13:20.420 Remember, people are like, oh, well, she said in 2012.

00:13:22.520 She said something happened in 2012.

00:13:24.280 She did not name Brett Kavanaugh in 2012.

00:13:26.720 And it was also recorded with the wrong number of accusers in 2012.

00:13:30.120 So the idea that that story is the same is highly questionable at all.

00:13:34.700 But it's okay.

00:13:35.360 Let's say it's happened in 2012.

00:13:37.160 Cory, excuse me, 1982.

00:13:39.180 Cory Booker, 1984, wrote about a story.

00:13:42.600 It was New Year's Eve, 1984.

00:13:44.620 He said, as we fumbled upon the bed, he's dealing with a girl here.

00:13:48.180 I remember debating my next move as it was a chess game.

00:13:51.700 With the Top Gun slogan ringing in my head, back to that in a second, I slowly reached for her breast. 0.57

00:13:58.300 After having my hand pushed away once, I reached my mark.

00:14:02.920 He goes on to say, next week in school, the girl, he groped, told me she was drunk that night and didn't know what she was doing.

00:14:12.140 Remember, she's 15 at the time of this incident.

00:14:15.160 He also then later on wrote in 1992 about this incident.

00:14:19.280 He had written, I raised my noble pen.

00:14:22.040 He was Spartacus even back then. 0.84

00:14:23.580 I raised my noble pen to address the issue of date rape. 0.56

00:14:28.180 And then I realized that the person holding that pen wasn't so noble after all.

00:14:34.340 Again, he's essentially admitting to date rape in the column.

00:14:39.180 With this issue, as with so many others, a dash of sincere introspection has revealed to me a dangerous gap.

00:14:45.940 A gap between my beliefs and my actions.

00:14:49.280 Spartacus, tell me it's not so.

00:14:53.180 Say it ain't so, Sparty.

00:14:54.980 It's interesting to look at this, too, for multiple reasons.

00:14:58.840 And I think, you know, look, would you say, the only difference here would be, in theory, if Brett Kavanaugh had done this, well, Cory Booker's admitted it.

00:15:07.160 And maybe he had dealt with the problem.

00:15:08.920 Of course, we all know if in 1992, Brett Kavanaugh had written a story just like this about how he groped women, this would be a huge issue.

00:15:16.520 And he'd be in real trouble in the Supreme Court because the Democrats would take that standard that they're not applying to Cory Booker and apply it to Brett Kavanaugh.

00:15:24.680 But the Democrats, hang on just a second.

00:15:27.040 That's not necessary.

00:15:28.420 You don't know.

00:15:29.280 I do know.

00:15:30.020 Because, no, you don't.

00:15:31.240 100% certitude.

00:15:32.320 Because the Democratic leadership might have been so busy beating their girlfriend and curating her that they may not have noticed. 0.92

00:15:43.020 That's certainly possible.

00:15:45.000 I think we have to keep that possibility open after the news.

00:15:49.400 But here's another thing that's really bothering me about this story.

00:15:52.880 Cory Booker says,

00:15:54.140 What on earth is the Top Gun slogan?

00:16:07.280 Does anyone have any idea what the Top Gun slogan is?

00:16:11.040 If you were to say, what is the Top Gun slogan?

00:16:13.920 What would be ringing in your head?

00:16:16.660 I mean, maybe he meant the theme song.

00:16:18.500 No, you'll never age like that guy on the screen.

00:16:23.960 It's possible.

00:16:25.160 I think he's made a pact with the devil.

00:16:29.000 I don't know.

00:16:30.420 What is the Top Gun slogan?

00:16:33.480 As far as I can tell, there's no such thing as the Top Gun slogan.

00:16:36.440 I'm thinking he might have meant the Top Gun theme, right?

00:16:39.240 The kind of the sort of 80s guitar solo played while they're walking towards the plane.

00:16:46.100 Maybe that.

00:16:46.700 I don't know.

00:16:47.040 Or Highway to the Danger Zone, which apparently could be that as well.

00:16:50.560 The problem with Cory Booker's memory here, and it's interesting,

00:16:53.880 is we claim this woman in 1982 remembers this incident perfectly.

00:16:57.580 She, of course, knows everything.

00:16:58.580 Now, she doesn't know where it was.

00:16:59.540 She doesn't know what house it was at.

00:17:00.700 She doesn't know how she got to the house.

00:17:01.740 She doesn't know what month it was in.

00:17:02.980 But she remembers this so vividly.

00:17:05.600 This vivid recollection is what it's been called.

00:17:08.500 Yes, I know.

00:17:09.380 Right.

00:17:09.640 You remember this?

00:17:10.120 Now, this is not 36 years after the incident for Cory Booker.

00:17:14.080 It's eight years after the incident.

00:17:15.560 1994, and he's writing about it in 1992.

00:17:18.600 With the Top Gun slogan ringing in my head, I slowly reached for her breast. 0.65

00:17:22.300 The minor issue here in 1984, Top Gun would not come out for 18 months.

00:17:28.520 Top Gun came out in 1986.

00:17:31.580 He couldn't have possibly known what the Top Gun slogan was because it wasn't a thing.

00:17:36.380 That might have just been literary from his noble pen.

00:17:41.920 Oh, that's true.

00:17:42.880 He had a noble pen, and sometimes noble pens do that.

00:17:46.640 They do.

00:17:47.600 And you know what?

00:17:49.680 The pen is really not his weapon of choice.

00:17:53.940 Spartacus uses a spear.

00:17:56.120 The pen is mightier than the spear, Glenn.

00:17:58.780 I think we all know that.

00:17:59.900 Okay.

00:18:00.600 All right.

00:18:01.100 His noble and autonomous pen essentially made all of these mistakes and admitted to date rape.

00:18:05.860 But no, let's hear his criticism of Brett Kavanaugh, who has not admitted to anything.

00:18:11.860 Well, I'm sure he's going to.

00:18:14.420 Soon as he answers to all of the charges and her testimony, you know, before her testimony.

00:18:22.060 They are saying, by the way, she may testify next week now.

00:18:24.140 Yeah, no, I know, and we've got to go over the conditions that she's laid out because I think they're very reasonable.

00:18:31.180 He's got to, he has to answer to her testimony before she speaks and testifies, which I think is very good.

00:18:40.080 That's how trails work.

00:18:41.220 Of course it does.

00:18:42.040 Always work.

00:18:42.440 Of course it does.

00:18:43.260 Can you answer the charges that have not been stated yet?

00:18:47.320 No, I can't.

00:18:48.480 Your Honor, he cannot answer to the charges.

00:18:51.920 The best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:19:03.200 This week we've been in the City of Angels.

00:19:06.460 Broadcasting directly from Los Angeles.

00:19:09.440 This is Southern California.

00:19:11.560 As I grew up in Seattle, Washington, I always wanted to live in California.

00:19:15.640 I still kind of do.

00:19:17.080 If Sacramento was not part of California, if they would just take all of the politicians in the politics and Hollywood and move them to New York, I would love to live here.

00:19:30.980 But I don't know how people do it.

00:19:32.580 I really don't.

00:19:33.400 God bless you.

00:19:34.400 There's so many conservatives here that just don't admit that they're conservative.

00:19:39.340 Just keep it quiet.

00:19:43.560 This is home to some of the most pompous virtue-signaling liberals in the entire nation.

00:19:51.380 Maybe the entire world.

00:19:53.800 The virtue-signaling here is off the charts.

00:19:57.400 Even the French say, oh, they're a little snotty, huh?

00:20:00.880 They don't just talk about how incredibly awesome and more virtuous they are than the rest of us. 0.96

00:20:08.020 They back it up by regulating the crap out of everything. 0.98

00:20:12.480 Some of the most ridiculous laws you've ever heard. 0.98

00:20:15.600 Some of my favorites. 0.95

00:20:16.960 It's a crime to ride a bicycle in a swimming pool.

00:20:20.780 Which is kind of a, you know, bummer because I like to swim and bike and I don't have the time.

00:20:27.300 So I like to do it both at the same time.

00:20:30.700 You know, there's nothing like riding your, you know, your BMX in a pool.

00:20:35.340 It's, you know, just for people who are super athletic like me.

00:20:40.220 Two, illegal to curse on a mini golf course.

00:20:46.040 Is it possible to play golf, any form of golf, and not curse?

00:20:51.540 Three, dogs are not allowed to mate within 500 yards of a church or a school.

00:21:00.680 I know, I've been talking to my dog.

00:21:03.020 Do you realize how close we are to a school?

00:21:05.020 Stop humping that other dog.

00:21:08.080 You break this law.

00:21:09.400 You break this law and you find, you face a $500 fine and or six months in prison.

00:21:17.740 By the way, I would, your honor, I wasn't humping near the school.

00:21:23.380 The dog was.

00:21:24.400 Why am I going to prison?

00:21:26.960 If you're a pooch trotting along, you know, near a church or a school and you happen to hear the sweet melodic sounds of Barry White and all of a sudden that poodle is walking in slow motion.

00:21:37.480 Stay away, man.

00:21:39.140 Run for the cold swimming pool as long as there's not a bike in it.

00:21:44.340 This is California.

00:21:46.020 The biggest and probably most economically challenging and damaging laws are the environmental laws.

00:21:56.160 Kind of like the new law that makes it illegal, illegal to take a shower and do your laundry on the same day.

00:22:04.240 Oh, this is great.

00:22:06.520 Don't laugh.

00:22:07.400 That's a real law.

00:22:08.980 How about the stringent emission laws that corporations have to deal with?

00:22:13.180 But it's kind of funny for all the fierce rhetoric that comes from everybody in Hollywood, you know, to the San Fernando Valley regarding the climate change and militant environmentalism. 0.98

00:22:26.680 Because I'm here this week and this place looks like a crap hole. 0.99

00:22:31.760 I mean, it really, I mean, it's dirty, nasty, garbage everywhere. 0.99

00:22:36.320 Have you walked down, you know, Hollywood Boulevard? 0.86

00:22:42.500 Wow.

00:22:43.680 That's lovely.

00:22:45.380 I mean, if you can make it by, honest to God, in Hollywood, doing some business this week, walking down, everybody's like, is that guy smoking crack?

00:22:56.860 Of course he is.

00:22:57.980 Of course he is.

00:22:58.920 Everybody's smoking crack.

00:23:01.340 Try taking a drive down the 405 or any freeway in the L.A. area.

00:23:05.100 Bumper to bumper.

00:23:06.020 It's a mess.

00:23:08.020 You want to roll your windows down because it's so nice, but no, you really don't because of the, you know, all of the earth-saving chemicals that are being pumped out of the back of that bus.

00:23:19.440 So, what is the after effect of all of these virtuous laws?

00:23:25.180 It's making things better, right?

00:23:26.620 Several years ago, the state of California offered drivers of low or zero-emission cars for the opportunity to drive in the carpool lane.

00:23:35.720 All they had to do was just do one thing.

00:23:39.820 They wanted to encourage more people to buy electric cars, saving the environment.

00:23:44.240 Now, it just happens that they also gained some revenue by, you know, having to buy those cute little zero-emissions carpool-eligible permits that they put on the car.

00:23:57.020 But that didn't have anything to do with it.

00:23:59.140 California is not looking to bilk its people.

00:24:01.360 No, it's not.

00:24:03.220 Which brings me to the newest law, California.

00:24:06.920 Remember those little stickers that you had to buy so you could, you know, so you could buy a really expensive car, overpay for it, and then drive in the carpool lane?

00:24:19.200 Well, the legislature has just passed a new law stating that the low-emission carpool decals that you purchased, yeah, those ones are no longer valid.

00:24:30.440 And so, don't use the carpool lane unless you want to come back to the state today because they have a brand new low-emissions sticker for your car.

00:24:40.380 Now, again, I mean, they're doing this just because it saves something for the environment.

00:24:48.060 It has nothing to do with the state making more money, you know, has absolutely nothing to do with that.

00:24:54.040 More money on the registration fees, which are coming, are now the highest in the country coming from a state with the highest taxes.

00:25:02.420 The money on the new low-emission carpool permit, yep, they like that.

00:25:07.800 And the sales tax if you buy a new car?

00:25:10.900 So the state's getting richer, Californians are getting poorer, and all in the name of environmentalism and climate change.

00:25:18.240 But it's all for the virtue, right?

00:25:22.180 Has anybody noticed that the cities that are run by progressives for decades are hellholes?

00:25:29.420 Has anyone ever noticed that?

00:25:31.700 It's hard not to when you're in some places in California and don't even get me started with poop-a-roni on the streets of San Francisco. 1.00

00:25:48.240 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:25:50.940 Like listening to this podcast?

00:26:02.700 If you're not a subscriber, become one now on iTunes.

00:26:05.920 And while you're there, do us a favor and rate the show.

00:26:08.820 So, Bill, I have—the American people have just been—a Huffington Post Bowl has been taken to the American people.

00:26:18.120 28% of men believe her.

00:26:22.400 Only 25% of women believe her.

00:26:26.200 Out of that number of the 25%, how many do you think are only saying this?

00:26:34.360 How many actually do you think actually believe her?

00:26:37.340 And how many are just political zombies?

00:26:41.060 Beck, I can't possibly answer that.

00:26:43.980 I mean, it's speculation, but what I can tell you is this.

00:26:46.900 You mentioned the virtuous left out in California, and that's who's driving Judge Kavanaugh is guilty, even though they have no blanking clue whether he's guilty or not.

00:27:01.100 But because they feel good about destroying Kavanaugh, primarily because of abortion, they can say whatever they want to say.

00:27:12.380 Due process—no, no, no, no.

00:27:14.200 Did you hear the other night back that Chris Cuomo on CNN said, you know what, due process, presumption of innocence, that's just in courts.

00:27:22.540 That's not really in American society.

00:27:25.780 That's not in our—

00:27:26.780 Where do you think—where does Chris Cuomo think we got the laws?

00:27:30.200 We codified what society feels is right and just, wrote it down and said, this is who we are.

00:27:40.480 It's worse than that.

00:27:41.540 The founding fathers fought a war because they wanted a just society because King George wasn't just in their opinion.

00:27:50.920 And part of the just society is, unlike France, which has a Napoleonic code that you're guilty until proven innocent, you're innocent until proven guilty, not just in a court of law, but in society.

00:28:05.200 You can't be pointing fingers at people going, prove you're not a rapist.

00:28:10.460 I mean, it's—but this is what it is.

00:28:13.120 You're on CNN, and there he is at 9 o'clock, and he's a lawyer.

00:28:18.200 You know, don't give me that we should be giving anybody the presumption of innocence.

00:28:22.220 Oh, no. 0.99

00:28:23.340 No, we want to be a Stalin-esque society that if Joseph feels that you're disloyal, he can put a bullet in your head. 0.98

00:28:31.820 That's what we want to be in America.

00:28:33.780 I just started reading The Trial by Kafka last night, and I only picked it up because, if I remember right, The Trial is about a guy who all of a sudden is accused of something, stands trial.

00:28:50.520 He doesn't know what he's even accused of, and he's going through a trial.

00:28:55.920 This is—this struck me last night as I saw one of her conditions was that Kavanaugh had to answer to the charges before she testified.

00:29:09.020 Right.

00:29:09.740 I mean, this—

00:29:10.160 How is that even—how is that just or fair?

00:29:12.640 So out of control.

00:29:13.080 And this is what you've seen in colleges when you had any student who was accused of anything had to go before a star chamber, and they were basically thrown out before any evidence was presented.

00:29:27.460 Right.

00:29:27.980 And this is what Chris Cuomo wants.

00:29:30.420 And I'm going to read that Kafka book right after I finish Addicted to Outrage.

00:29:35.200 Well, I—well, I—so, Bill O'Reilly, what do you think about the woman who has really no evidence at all, no one backing up her story, her friend that said, oh, I heard a buzz about this, later the next day said she was empowered by the Internet to say those things.

00:29:54.580 She doesn't know if it's—if it's true, and she doesn't want to talk about it, and she deleted the tweet.

00:29:59.040 That's as good as it gets.

00:30:03.040 You have a he said, she said, and this woman is coming on, and she is demanding that the GOP, you know, does a—does a few things.

00:30:12.720 She said Kavanaugh has to testify first.

00:30:17.460 There are no outside counsels that can question her.

00:30:21.520 She wants them to subpoena Mark Judge, and she has to have her safety guaranteed.

00:30:27.740 First, the last one?

00:30:30.460 Okay, fine.

00:30:32.680 What do you think of the other ones? 0.99

00:30:34.920 Ridiculous. 0.89

00:30:37.300 Look, I appointed all of my viewers on BillOReilly.com as jury members for a civil case regarding the Kavanaugh situation. 0.65

00:30:46.760 I said the preponderance of evidence is what you have to rule on, and here's the evidence.

00:30:50.800 When this happened, allegedly happened, 36 years ago, was anybody told about it?

00:30:59.620 Okay, who would be told about it?

00:31:01.600 The parents?

00:31:02.740 Of course, right?

00:31:04.280 If this happened in the way she describes it, you would tell your parents.

00:31:09.020 You would assume, or your brother, or your sister, or your best friend.

00:31:12.920 You start there.

00:31:13.960 Why was no one told?

00:31:19.180 No school report, nothing.

00:31:21.420 You could make the case that, you know, a woman, especially a 15-year-old girl, is embarrassed.

00:31:29.140 I brought it on myself.

00:31:30.260 I don't want to tell my parents because I was drunk.

00:31:32.720 I have a 15-year-old, I don't know anyone, anyone being assaulted who wouldn't tell anyone.

00:31:41.140 I'm sorry, I just don't, it's just not human nature.

00:31:45.080 And then all those years, you don't tell anybody, nothing happens until a marital session, a counseling session,

00:31:52.480 where the therapist writes down that Dr. Ford said there were four boys in the room,

00:31:57.960 and now Dr. Ford says there were two boys in the room, and says a therapist made a mistake.

00:32:03.200 Therapists don't make those kinds of mistakes.

00:32:05.060 That's an amazingly traumatic experience.

00:32:08.580 All right?

00:32:08.940 They don't make those kinds of mistakes.

00:32:10.560 So I'm presenting evidence, evidence that Dr. Ford herself has confirmed,

00:32:15.900 not evidence that Bill O'Reilly has pulled out of the air.

00:32:18.120 And I'm just saying to myself, if you look at the pattern of what she says happened,

00:32:25.020 and then you look at who she has hired to represent her, the most far-left progressives in the country,

00:32:33.220 you can't not draw a political implication.

00:32:37.840 It's impossible.

00:32:38.700 So you did the civil court, which convicted O.J. Simpson.

00:32:46.740 The standard in civil court is just a preponderance of evidence, not beyond a reasonable doubt.

00:32:54.460 And that's what I wanted my listeners to evaluate, because in criminal court you can't do it.

00:33:00.500 Number one, there were no charges filed.

00:33:02.700 All right?

00:33:03.800 And number two, there isn't one shred of evidence from that night.

00:33:09.740 She doesn't even know where it happened.

00:33:13.300 So how could you possibly have an investigation?

00:33:17.860 How?

00:33:18.600 And you also have a pattern in recent history of one woman saying something,

00:33:27.100 which opens up the floodgate for all these other women to say something. 1.00

00:33:30.860 There hasn't been anyone.

00:33:32.200 Did you see the Hollywood ad put out by MoveOn?

00:33:35.460 Did you see those actresses, Julianne Moore and those other people?

00:33:39.620 Yes.

00:33:40.160 I mean, that just depressed me.

00:33:43.040 I go, are you American citizens or what?

00:33:46.040 I mean, what are you doing?

00:33:48.000 And everybody says Salem, witch hunt, Salem, Salem.

00:33:50.560 This is Salem.

00:33:52.760 This is exactly what happened there.

00:33:55.020 Bill O'Reilly, just would like to know if this is one of those days that you say,

00:34:02.280 man, I wish someone would take the president's phone away from him.

00:34:06.980 He has just tweeted, I have no doubt that if the attack on Dr. Ford was as bad as she said,

00:34:15.280 charges would have been immediately filed with local law enforcement authorities by either her or her loving parents.

00:34:20.860 I ask that she brings those filings forward so we can learn the date and the time and the place.

00:34:27.320 Should the president be tweeting and getting involved in this?

00:34:30.600 I'm not sure.

00:34:33.060 I think that with all modesty, he did that because he read my message of the day yesterday, which he said exactly the same thing.

00:34:42.140 Yeah, I believe you're right.

00:34:46.560 They monitor me.

00:34:48.040 May I read you two paragraphs of today's Bill O'Reilly.com message of the day?

00:34:53.060 May I?

00:34:53.840 Sure, sure, sure.

00:34:55.100 And I'll read it slow so Stu can keep up.

00:34:59.500 All right, okay.

00:35:00.600 The Judge Kavanaugh-Christine Ford case is now expanding to the midterm election.

00:35:06.360 There is no question that Dr. Ford's lawyers working with the Democratic Party

00:35:11.520 are trying to embarrass Republicans and bait the party into denigrating the accuser.

00:35:18.440 So this situation is no longer solely a possible criminal act designed to derail a nominated Supreme Court justice.

00:35:25.440 Now, it has become a national election issue designed to cripple President Trump.

00:35:32.980 And that's exactly what's happening.

00:35:35.400 Now, Trump took the bait.

00:35:37.080 He took it.

00:35:38.440 Now, you have to ask, is that a good or bad thing?

00:35:41.720 I believe that the tide of public opinion is turning against Christine Ford at this point, Friday.

00:35:50.280 That could change by Monday.

00:35:51.620 But right now, I think that people are saying, you know what?

00:35:55.940 We've had enough of this.

00:35:58.120 We have had enough of the accusations.

00:36:01.080 And there are so many holes and arrogance.

00:36:04.720 We won't do this.

00:36:05.780 We won't do that.

00:36:06.740 You have to do this.

00:36:08.180 Americans don't like that, Beck.

00:36:10.120 They don't.

00:36:10.800 They're standing back.

00:36:11.800 They want to know what happened.

00:36:13.580 They want the truth.

00:36:15.000 But I'm telling you, I'm feeling the winds change here.

00:36:18.640 OK, so I would agree with you.

00:36:22.280 I just had dinner here in Los Angeles with somebody last night who is a is a liberal.

00:36:29.720 Everybody here is a liberal.

00:36:31.800 And and he said this Kavanaugh stuff is nuts.

00:36:36.660 It's crazy.

00:36:37.720 I don't believe her.

00:36:38.980 He said the Democratic Party, if if they continue to do this kind of stuff and run left, he said, I I don't know who I'll vote for.

00:36:49.700 He said if they run Cory Booker, Kamala Harris or Elizabeth Warren, he said, I can't vote for him.

00:36:56.020 I can't vote for any of those people, he said.

00:36:58.380 So I don't know what I'm going to do.

00:36:59.900 And and this is coming from a guy who works in Hollywood and he's a Democrat.

00:37:05.880 He better not say anything.

00:37:07.860 No, no, no.

00:37:08.280 He's he's right.

00:37:09.220 He doesn't be right out the window in that totalitarian thing out there.

00:37:13.860 Look, what you're having now is I would never say that I don't believe Dr.

00:37:18.460 Ford.

00:37:19.180 I would never say that because I don't know.

00:37:24.660 And I'm a fact driven guy.

00:37:26.820 I so far in this conversation, which I think has been excellent between you and me.

00:37:31.680 We have presented facts.

00:37:33.960 We've stayed away from speculation and politics facts.

00:37:37.860 OK, and that's what everybody needs to see.

00:37:40.480 But once you get into a position where you're a radical left attorney, all right, a woman who disparaged Paula Jones and stuck up for Al Franken.

00:37:50.320 When that woman is telling the Senate Judiciary Committee, look, this is what you're going to do.

00:37:58.220 You're going to do this or we're not showing up.

00:38:01.820 Once you get there, fair minded Americans are going to say, you know what?

00:38:07.400 Blank you. 0.99

00:38:08.420 And that's what's happening.

00:38:11.400 So so, Bill, what are the ramifications if she put all of these ridiculous restrictions, you know, that Kavanaugh has to testify before her?

00:38:24.160 Yes. 0.97

00:38:24.540 I mean, that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. 0.81

00:38:26.900 But they but they're shrewd in the sense they put Grassley, the head of the Judiciary Committee, in a real vise, because if Grassley says, you don't tell me what to do, then he doesn't want to know the truth. 0.90

00:38:40.700 Then he's persecuting the victim.

00:38:43.100 Then the Republican Party don't care about women. 1.00

00:38:46.280 You see, right.

00:38:47.120 Set it up that unless you do it my way, that you don't care about.

00:38:53.740 Here's what I would here's what I would like everybody in Washington to start caring about.

00:38:58.220 And that is the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, which boils down to care about all humans, care about every single American and their rights.

00:39:09.260 This has huge, huge ramifications.

00:39:13.240 If if because I think personally, we are down now to the whole country is going to watch.

00:39:18.760 If she cries and is sympathetic, the the the sympathy will change.

00:39:26.660 She doesn't need any more evidence.

00:39:29.100 It's now just down to which one is more sympathetic, which one is is puts on a better show.

00:39:38.900 And coupled with which one will the media get behind?

00:39:42.600 We already know the first one.

00:39:44.220 That's going to be a good point.

00:39:47.380 But I think there's a little bit more to it than that, because I think the battle lines are hardened.

00:39:52.900 And I think a lot of people have already made up their minds, even though I think they should keep an open mind on this.

00:39:58.980 But I think a lot of people have said, you know, he's making it up or he did it.

00:40:03.320 But you have a situation that is out of control and being used now, not only to derail Kavanaugh, but to get Trump.

00:40:13.640 And that's what people ought to know.

00:40:14.800 That connection is now being established.

00:40:17.740 I'll go back to the first thing I said.

00:40:19.860 Who is paying Dr.

00:40:22.200 Ford's lawyers?

00:40:23.940 Who is paying them?

00:40:25.720 And, of course, the press would never ask that question or bother to look, because when you find out who's paying, you'll see that it is a arch leftist group and big monies going in.

00:40:42.060 All right.

00:40:42.880 Let me change subjects.

00:40:44.600 Kind of.

00:40:45.320 Let me go overseas.

00:40:47.360 This story broke yesterday, and I saw an op-ed from Jonathan Turley on it.

00:40:52.200 The far-right political leader, Marine Le Pen, has been ordered into psychiatric evaluations after she posted graphic images of bodies of people executed by the Islamic State.

00:41:05.420 She was accused under French laws, criminalization, different forms of speech, laws that are rolling back free speech all over the continent.

00:41:16.100 Posting the pictures meant she was charged now as circulating violent messages that incite terrorism or pornography or serious harm human dignity, and that can also be viewed by a minor.

00:41:32.960 She also posted pictures after the Paris terror attacks of the images of the U.S. journalist that had been desecrated or decapitated in that attack.

00:41:47.460 And she wrote, Daesh, this.

00:41:52.440 She's now being brought in to see if she knows the difference between right and wrong and can answer questions truthfully if she knows what reality is. 0.98

00:42:04.560 Then she's going to go to trial, and she could receive nine years for posting accurate pictures of what Islamic extremists do to people. 0.94

00:42:17.860 Any thoughts?

00:42:19.400 I think it's a great opportunity for Ms. Le Pen.

00:42:22.200 You know, because people are going to say it happened, and she's warning us of what this group is capable of, so why are you making her a martyr?

00:42:37.460 So if she wants to be Joan of Arc, you know, I'm keeping it in France, thank you, she can be.

00:42:43.020 So you use the insanity of, I see what they're trying to do over in France and other countries.

00:42:51.540 They don't want to incite people against Muslims so that they're not beat up on the streets.

00:42:56.900 I understand.

00:42:58.380 It's almost like our legislation here, our hate crime legislation here.

00:43:02.660 But Le Pen, and she's a shrewd person, she'll use this for her benefit.

00:43:08.380 Okay, so wait a minute, hang on.

00:43:09.660 And it's not like it is over here, because you could post pictures of the Klan lynching people, and as long as it's clearly marked, this is what the Klan is, nobody's going to do anything about that.

00:43:23.260 But there are laws on the books here where you cannot threaten somebody.

00:43:29.940 That's what I meant.

00:43:30.900 So if you're walking down the street and there's a Muslim person, and you go over to the Muslim person and say, you're a member of ISIS, and you ought to get out of here, and I want to hurt you, or something like that, you'll be arrested. 0.86

00:43:42.800 You can't do that.

00:43:44.480 So that's what the law in France is designed to stop.

00:43:48.280 They don't want that kind of confrontation to take place.

00:43:53.240 Britain has it, too.

00:43:54.920 Britain has it, too.

00:43:55.760 So you're in a position now where, yes, are they impeding freedom of speech and expression?

00:44:01.600 Certainly they are.

00:44:02.440 They don't value that on the continent as much as we used to.

00:44:06.660 I don't think we do anymore because our totalitarian left is wiping out free speech.

00:44:12.080 You know, if you, to go back to the Kavanaugh for a second, if you speak out and say, you know, I may not believe this, then you are attacking women.

00:44:23.580 All women deserve to be believed. 0.90

00:44:26.100 I mean, that crazy senator from Hawaii, Maisie Haurano. 1.00

00:44:32.080 Oh, no, Kavanaugh did it. 0.97

00:44:34.560 And don't you dare say he didn't do it because if you do, then you're attacking women.

00:44:39.620 I mean, come on.

00:44:40.400 And that's where we are, and that's where we're heading, into that area where you can't even question an accusation or an allegation anymore.

00:44:48.820 And if you do, then you should be punished.

00:44:52.360 If you question it, you should be punished.

00:44:55.560 And Maisie will be the first one to try to do that.

00:44:57.920 It is, it's truly frightening to see how close we are to being dragged over the threshold back into the Dark Ages, where you could be.

00:45:09.900 Oh, yeah.

00:45:10.440 It's Stalinism.

00:45:11.000 I mean, that's what people, they don't understand.

00:45:13.900 That in a totalitarian society, you are not allowed to dissent.

00:45:20.740 And in Hollywood, Beck, you're sitting in Hollywood.

00:45:24.620 Are you allowed to dissent if you work in the show business industry, Beck?

00:45:29.620 Are you allowed?

00:45:31.240 No.

00:45:32.240 Okay.

00:45:32.880 No.

00:45:33.060 If you're in the Democratic Party, are you allowed to vote for Judge Kavanaugh without having your campaign funds cut off by Chuck Schumer?

00:45:44.460 Okay?

00:45:44.880 No, you're not.

00:45:45.600 No.

00:45:45.800 You're not.

00:45:46.360 You're not allowed.

00:45:48.580 That's Stalinism. 0.98

00:45:50.200 You're not seeing that on the right, as crazy as some of those right-wingers are.

00:45:56.740 You don't see that kind of you're not allowed.

00:46:01.760 But you see it on the left, and it is openly accepted by the media.

00:46:08.420 You are not allowed to walk into the New York Times newsroom if you are a reporter wearing a Make America Great Again hat.

00:46:17.520 You are not allowed.

00:46:22.020 Everybody should know what's happening here.

00:46:24.860 It is fighting, and it's going like a speed train.

00:46:29.080 It really is.

00:46:29.800 It's picking up speed, going faster and faster.

00:46:32.260 Bill O'Reilly from BillOreilly.com.

00:46:34.480 Thank you very much.

00:46:35.460 Appreciate it.

00:46:35.960 Sure. 0.97

00:46:36.580 And Killing the SS out October 9th.

00:46:39.740 Buy it with Beck's book.

00:46:41.460 Get those two right in your house. 0.99

00:46:43.980 Thank you very much.

00:46:44.880 Appreciate it, Bill.

00:46:45.500 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:46:56.980 Well, here's another victory for the tone-deaf feminists here in America. 1.00

00:47:02.680 Manspreading is now on to decline.

00:47:06.960 Meanwhile, Muslim women in India have just been given the legal right to have a say in their own divorce.

00:47:14.260 If you're a Muslim woman under Sharia law, you can use the triple, I think it's talak. 1.00

00:47:23.380 And what that means is, I think it's pronounced talak.

00:47:27.520 Excuse me if I'm hitting this wrong.

00:47:29.640 But it's talak, talak, talak, which means I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you. 1.00

00:47:33.520 You say it three times, Beetlejuice shows up, and you are divorced.

00:47:38.220 But it is, it's only for the men.

00:47:43.020 Well, now, Indian women have been saved from the triple talak. 1.00

00:47:50.340 It's now been outlawed as a form of instant divorce in Islam.

00:47:55.480 Until now, Muslim men have been legally allowed to instantly divorce their wives just by saying, 0.99

00:48:03.160 Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.

00:48:04.520 How's that for women's rights? 1.00

00:48:07.820 How's that for human rights, for that matter?

00:48:11.580 By the way, just so nobody's upset, I just, I want to break in with the news again.

00:48:16.260 Man's, manspreading is down here in America.

00:48:19.120 It's down.

00:48:20.160 Men are not sitting like they used to in, I mean, as much as they used to.

00:48:25.780 It's still happening.

00:48:26.720 Yes, you're still oppressed.

00:48:28.300 Things are horrible.

00:48:29.000 But it is on the decline.

00:48:33.460 Why haven't the fourth wave feminists like Linda Sarsour taken to the streets to protest the vile treatment of women? 1.00

00:48:42.800 In places like India? 1.00

00:48:45.960 I know, it's such a stupid question. 1.00

00:48:47.740 Because we all know. 1.00

00:48:48.760 We all know.

00:48:49.340 She knows.

00:48:49.820 Everybody around her knows.

00:48:50.780 But it is worth mentioning that the bill faced a lot of opposition, both among the public and within the government, meaning that there is a problem of widespread systematic misogyny in India.

00:49:05.880 You remember Hillary Clinton speaking to the people of India and talking about how racist and sexist we are here in America?

00:49:17.780 Widespread systematic misogyny in India seems like something that protesters from the Kavanaugh hearings should be, you know, riled up by on account of their convictions to fight the patriarchy and the oppression of women.

00:49:30.720 Because they are concerned about those things, right?

00:49:32.700 Because I can tell you, a country, a region, really, with habitual government-wide oppression of women, I think is much bigger than a problem that we're now facing this week of he said, she said, with Brett Kavanaugh.

00:49:49.020 You know those dramatic outfits that the protesters are wearing, you know, for the Kavanaugh hearing?

00:49:54.140 You know, they're dressed as the handmaid tale? 0.99

00:49:58.920 That took a lot of work from women here. 1.00

00:50:02.260 And, uh, it's shameful.

00:50:04.380 It really is.

00:50:06.880 And, of course, they're all convinced that it's coming here in America.

00:50:09.700 But do you know that Muslim women throughout the Middle East, Asia, they have to wear those?

00:50:17.860 And, in fact, it's much worse.

00:50:19.600 And they have to wear it on a daily basis.

00:50:22.040 And it's starting to spread all over the world.

00:50:24.460 See, the difference is, here, you went to a costume store and you rented that, or maybe you made it yourself.

00:50:32.200 And you didn't have to ask your man to take you to the fabric store to get the fabric.

00:50:36.700 You just made it.

00:50:38.220 It's not dress-up time in other countries.

00:50:41.420 It's actually a living hell for women, millions of women, tens of millions of women. 1.00

00:50:52.260 Does anybody, is anybody in the feminist movement actually care about women?

00:51:02.300 Or do you just want to use women so you can gather enough people to flood the streets so you can all scream, 0.99

00:51:15.000 Orange Man, Bad!

00:51:16.360 The Blaze Radio Network.

00:51:21.000 On Demand.
