Trump appears to admit that his son, Donald Trump Jr., met with the Russians in Trump Tower with the intent of getting dirt on Hillary Clinton. What does this mean for the Mueller investigation and why hasn't Hillary Clinton been charged?

Transcript

00:00:00.000 The Blaze Radio Network, on demand, Glenn Beck.
00:00:08.280 So yesterday, President Trump appeared to admit yesterday that his son, Don Jr., met with the Russians in Trump Tower with the intent of getting dirt on Hillary Clinton.
00:00:18.700 He tweeted, and I quote, this was a meeting to get information on an opponent, totally legal and done all the time in politics.
00:00:27.260 And it went nowhere. I did not know about it. End quote.
00:00:31.940 Now, this, of course, set everybody's hair on fire all day yesterday.
00:00:35.520 Oh, my God. Oh, my gosh. Donald Trump. He contradicted what he said last year.
00:00:42.320 OK, of course he did. Don Jr.'s statement regarding the meeting was this, quote,
00:00:47.380 We primarily discussed a program about adoption of Russian children that was active and popular with Russian or American families years ago and since ended by the Russian government.
00:00:57.980 But it is not a campaign issue at the time, and there was no follow up. End quote.
00:01:02.920 But was Trump's admission yesterday something that we didn't know already?
00:01:07.280 We've seen the emails from Don Jr. accepting the meeting after they offered compromising information on Clinton.
00:01:14.500 But it all went south when the Russians came in and all they wanted to do was talk about adoption and the Magnitsky Act.
00:01:20.960 So whether the president actually knew about this meeting or not, we may never know.
00:01:24.980 But we do know that high level members of the campaign at least wanted to collude.
00:01:31.520 They just never got the chance. And again, this is as far as we know.
00:01:35.780 And we've known this for over a year. So there is nothing new here.
00:01:41.900 Now, I did see a line in an NBC News story that got my attention directly after quoting the president's admission in the tweet.
00:01:50.260 The article said this, quote, It is illegal for campaigns to accept help from a foreign government or from foreign nationals.
00:01:58.780 End quote. Now, see, this is really interesting.
00:02:03.440 Because if that is true, why haven't the senior members of the DNC and even Hillary Clinton not been arrested?
00:02:10.900 Because the DNC hired a foreign national, a former spy, Christopher Steele, and he got information.
00:02:19.080 Not only is he English, but he got information from the Russians.
00:02:23.920 Why isn't that a problem?
00:02:25.560 The Trump campaign wanted information from a foreign national, a Russian lawyer, a friend, but didn't get it.
00:02:33.000 Clinton campaign wanted information on Trump hired by a foreign spy from a foreign nation state and then use that information to manipulate the FBI and the DOJ.
00:02:42.420 Out of those two scenarios, how are they different?
00:02:48.680 I mean, I think one is worse than the other.
00:02:52.120 One candidate tried and failed and the other one was successful in getting compromising information.
00:02:57.540 Whether any of it is actually true or not is another issue.
00:03:00.500 But she then used that information to try to swing the election and the fallout is still affecting the public opinion to this day.
00:03:09.260 In the end, both sides were wrong.
00:03:14.380 Team Trump was wrong for accepting the meeting under those conditions.
00:03:18.460 Shouldn't have had that meeting.
00:03:20.560 Shouldn't have taken it.
00:03:22.060 Team Clinton was wrong for yet another crime that she will never have to answer for.
00:03:27.240 But no one's concentrating on the larger issue here.
00:03:31.300 How often does this kind of activity happen?
00:03:34.940 How many foreign nationals are making money off U.S. elections?
00:03:39.600 How many foreign nationals are influencing our elections?
00:03:44.040 On the other hand, how many of our citizens are making money influencing elections in other countries?
00:03:51.160 Tune in tonight to TV on the blaze.
00:03:56.580 Because you're going to see a story that you won't believe.
00:04:00.180 This is a California wildfire of corruption.
00:04:09.860 It's Monday, August 6th.
00:04:11.920 You're listening to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:04:13.960 I'm trying to get a legal expert on.
00:04:20.060 I exchanged tweets yesterday with Ben Shapiro on this.
00:04:25.280 And he says, you know, it's really not illegal to accept the information.
00:04:32.860 It's more of campaign finance stuff.
00:04:35.620 So he's not sure that NBC is even right.
00:04:38.000 I wanted to get Dershowitz on and see if he could answer this question for us.
00:04:43.000 Because everything else we say about it is speculation.
00:04:45.980 And that's the problem with the story.
00:04:47.140 Again, at some point, the Mueller investigation is over and they release a report.
00:04:50.880 At that time, we can all talk about what's in it.
00:04:52.940 But right now, we don't know what they have.
00:04:55.240 What he tweets is so meaningless.
00:04:58.900 Who cares what he tweets when it comes to these things?
00:05:02.580 You know, I mean, let's just say he came out and said,
00:05:05.320 By the way, I did intend to collude.
00:05:07.600 And that's exactly what I was trying to do.
00:05:09.680 And everything that everybody said on the left is right.
00:05:13.080 It's correct.
00:05:14.740 And then they, so what are they going to do?
00:05:16.520 They're going to ask him about it.
00:05:17.360 And then he'll say the opposite.
00:05:18.780 It's a tweet.
00:05:20.000 But a tweet is not, like, you can try to bring tweets into an investigation.
00:05:24.720 But, I mean, people tweet about things all the time.
00:05:26.760 They embellish.
00:05:28.100 They overstate what they're saying.
00:05:31.160 He's not testifying on Twitter.
00:05:32.900 Or, I mean, a lot of this is positioning for the media's sake.
00:05:37.900 And once again, we, you know, sit here and have to deal with it every week.
00:05:41.660 I don't understand it.
00:05:42.540 There are much more important things that actually are going to affect our lives
00:05:46.520 that are happening right now.
00:05:49.740 And, I mean, let's just look at a few of them.
00:05:54.220 Today, I want to talk to you about what happened in Portland this weekend.
00:05:57.820 Being from the Pacific Northwest, I think I have a different point of view on this.
00:06:04.920 I think real danger is coming from the Pacific Northwest.
00:06:10.300 There was a riot in Portland that, I mean, we just had a guy on the streets with a riot in,
00:06:21.140 where was it, Palestinian-occupied territories in Israel.
00:06:27.480 I mean, Jason was on the ground.
00:06:29.760 This thing up in Portland, I thought, was bigger and more intense than it was over in Israel.
00:06:37.160 So, we're going to talk about that.
00:06:42.180 And, you know, I guess I want to start here.
00:06:45.060 I want to ask you,
00:06:49.160 shouldn't we trust the American people?
00:06:56.560 Shouldn't we, as an organization,
00:06:59.680 trust you
00:07:01.060 with all of the information?
00:07:03.600 Stop giving you
00:07:06.100 a slant
00:07:09.260 one way or another.
00:07:11.580 Just give you the information.
00:07:14.020 Give you our perspective on it.
00:07:16.660 But just give you the information.
00:07:20.180 There's a couple of things.
00:07:22.620 Having a
00:07:23.580 chat this morning,
00:07:25.620 I really want to talk to,
00:07:27.200 what's his name?
00:07:28.200 Joey Gibson?
00:07:29.900 Is that his name?
00:07:30.420 He's the guy who started the Patriot Prayer
00:07:33.720 organization up in Portland.
00:07:36.120 They were the other half of,
00:07:38.140 you know,
00:07:38.480 the riot.
00:07:39.900 They're being described as alt-right.
00:07:42.380 I don't know if they're alt-right.
00:07:43.800 I certainly don't trust the
00:07:45.220 press to tell me what's alt-right
00:07:47.640 and what's not.
00:07:48.840 I mean, they'll tell you that the,
00:07:49.920 you know,
00:07:50.520 the neo-Nazis and Richard Spencer
00:07:52.240 are alt-right.
00:07:53.220 No, as an alternative
00:07:54.680 to the right.
00:07:56.160 They are alt-right.
00:07:57.700 They just aren't right.
00:07:59.380 Correct.
00:07:59.800 They are an alternative
00:08:01.320 to the right,
00:08:02.680 which goes back to the left
00:08:04.680 because they are for socialism.
00:08:07.180 They stand against the Bill of Rights,
00:08:08.940 the Constitution.
00:08:10.860 You know,
00:08:11.200 they have nothing in common
00:08:13.700 with the right,
00:08:15.160 with the American right.
00:08:17.120 So who are these guys?
00:08:19.080 And the debate is,
00:08:20.080 you want to give these guys a voice?
00:08:21.720 Now, I'm not saying that these guys
00:08:22.860 in particular are bad.
00:08:24.140 Yeah, and I would give Antifa a voice too.
00:08:26.840 If I could find a spokesperson for Antifa,
00:08:29.280 I'd put Antifa on the air.
00:08:32.180 Shouldn't you hear it for yourself
00:08:33.880 from them?
00:08:35.660 I'm tired of it.
00:08:36.720 We are leaving the place
00:08:40.840 to where
00:08:42.240 people are hiding.
00:08:47.900 They're just saying it.
00:08:50.040 In fact,
00:08:50.460 let me play MSNBC.
00:08:53.600 We're in a unique place
00:08:55.140 right now,
00:08:56.100 and we're going to pass it.
00:08:58.540 Here's MSNBC
00:08:59.740 over the weekend,
00:09:00.780 and they were talking about
00:09:02.340 Americans who fear socialism.
00:09:04.420 Now, I want you to listen
00:09:05.540 to what they're saying.
00:09:07.180 This fulfills
00:09:08.980 one of the things
00:09:09.600 I said would happen
00:09:10.440 when I was at Fox,
00:09:11.340 that the masks
00:09:12.280 are going to come off,
00:09:13.180 and they're all just going to say,
00:09:14.640 yes,
00:09:15.200 this doesn't work.
00:09:17.060 We are socialists.
00:09:18.960 Now,
00:09:19.420 they've done that
00:09:20.200 in the last six months.
00:09:21.940 The Democratic Socialists
00:09:23.640 that are running
00:09:25.400 and all of this talk
00:09:27.840 about open socialism.
00:09:29.920 Okay.
00:09:31.080 All right.
00:09:31.460 Well, that's refreshing.
00:09:32.580 At least we know
00:09:33.500 where they stand.
00:09:35.160 However,
00:09:36.740 the window is closing
00:09:38.320 because listen to the way
00:09:40.560 MSNBC is talking about it.
00:09:42.980 Listen.
00:09:43.280 I also think we sit here
00:09:44.320 and we talk about
00:09:44.900 this big concept of socialism.
00:09:46.520 We debate what it actually means.
00:09:48.080 All the polling
00:09:48.960 that I've seen
00:09:49.840 when people go out
00:09:50.920 state by state
00:09:51.600 and ask what people care about,
00:09:52.840 it's about the cost
00:09:53.760 of health care.
00:09:54.580 Yes.
00:09:55.120 That's what people care about.
00:09:56.120 Yes.
00:09:56.360 So if you can show up
00:09:57.040 and you can say,
00:09:57.540 I'm going to take care
00:09:58.280 of the cost of health care,
00:09:59.340 like that's a really
00:10:00.040 powerful argument.
00:10:00.780 But you're getting
00:10:01.420 into details
00:10:02.180 and you're talking
00:10:02.880 about a nuanced,
00:10:04.380 powerful argument.
00:10:05.600 Yeah.
00:10:05.740 But lots of people
00:10:06.600 don't get into the argument.
00:10:08.260 They just go,
00:10:09.080 oh my gosh, socialist.
00:10:10.740 I can't have that.
00:10:11.960 It's going to take
00:10:12.560 all my money.
00:10:13.240 And I will tell you,
00:10:14.120 if the entire Democratic Party
00:10:15.780 gets branded as socialist
00:10:17.080 successfully going
00:10:18.000 into the midterms
00:10:18.720 or into the 2020 presidential,
00:10:20.500 depending on who
00:10:21.080 takes that mantle,
00:10:22.300 they lose.
00:10:22.880 Even if those are
00:10:23.700 winning policies,
00:10:24.760 it's such a difficult term.
00:10:26.640 This is the thing.
00:10:27.060 This is the thing.
00:10:27.700 We can reject the label
00:10:28.960 and just simply,
00:10:29.720 there's an old
00:10:30.380 philosophical concept.
00:10:31.280 Let's explicate by elimination.
00:10:32.780 Let's get rid of the term
00:10:33.720 and see what it stands for.
00:10:35.440 Yes.
00:10:35.680 When we talk about
00:10:36.240 decent wages,
00:10:37.460 we talk about
00:10:38.060 being able to afford
00:10:38.980 one's house,
00:10:39.560 when we talk about
00:10:40.180 being able to send
00:10:40.860 one's kid to
00:10:41.540 an affordable college,
00:10:42.720 when we talk about
00:10:43.560 the basic,
00:10:44.740 on-the-ground issues
00:10:45.620 and we solve this
00:10:46.340 in Virginia.
00:10:47.180 Then the answer is,
00:10:48.600 take a page
00:10:49.160 from the Republicans'
00:10:50.040 playbook.
00:10:50.620 They've hijacked
00:10:51.360 the word patriot.
00:10:52.680 The word patriot
00:10:53.300 is a beautiful,
00:10:54.480 strong American word.
00:10:55.340 But it means
00:10:55.840 one who defends
00:10:56.920 the honor and values
00:10:57.920 of their country
00:10:58.540 in the face of foes.
00:10:59.680 The president
00:11:00.080 does the opposite
00:11:00.900 in the eyes of Helsinki.
00:11:02.060 I wish we could figure out
00:11:02.980 what it is
00:11:03.580 that we could call socialism.
00:11:05.020 Because my frustration is,
00:11:06.380 what do you want to call
00:11:07.540 what they have in Germany?
00:11:08.800 Where they've got
00:11:09.260 a bigger social state,
00:11:10.540 you don't fall through
00:11:11.180 the cracks,
00:11:11.680 and yet somehow
00:11:12.140 they've managed
00:11:12.740 to not fail as a state.
00:11:15.280 Whatever you want to call that.
00:11:16.360 Manufacturing powerhouses.
00:11:17.560 Whatever you want to call it.
00:11:18.440 Denmark.
00:11:19.000 We can name a bunch
00:11:19.800 of different countries
00:11:20.260 that have that.
00:11:20.700 Whatever you want to call that,
00:11:21.820 can we have that?
00:11:22.660 I tell you,
00:11:23.220 I think you should feel
00:11:24.160 a big...
00:11:25.400 Yes, it is.
00:11:26.600 Actually, it's very radical.
00:11:28.500 And, you know,
00:11:29.200 I'm so tired of the Denmark
00:11:30.620 and the Norway things.
00:11:32.180 They are massively failing now.
00:11:35.120 They are running away
00:11:36.540 from socialism.
00:11:37.820 It works when you have
00:11:39.900 a homogenous society.
00:11:41.960 When you have everybody,
00:11:43.240 blonde hair, blue eyed,
00:11:44.400 everybody's from the same place.
00:11:45.840 Everybody feels the same way.
00:11:48.720 Everybody is connected
00:11:50.040 to the land,
00:11:52.140 if you will.
00:11:53.180 The minute you start
00:11:54.460 to add in immigrants,
00:11:56.800 the minute you start
00:11:58.040 to have a real influx
00:11:59.480 of immigrants
00:11:59.940 who say,
00:12:00.740 no, no, no,
00:12:01.080 I don't want to be like you,
00:12:03.180 the whole thing begins
00:12:04.380 to shimmy apart.
00:12:05.640 And that's what's happening
00:12:07.000 in Norway
00:12:08.300 and Denmark
00:12:09.260 and Sweden.
00:12:10.400 It's all coming apart.
00:12:12.320 By the way,
00:12:12.560 our way is better.
00:12:13.940 Yes, it is.
00:12:14.400 Our way is better.
00:12:14.920 You know,
00:12:15.440 not just keeping
00:12:16.320 a society homogenous
00:12:17.480 is better.
00:12:18.420 We've picked a better,
00:12:19.460 better path here.
00:12:21.420 Right.
00:12:21.600 But it doesn't.
00:12:22.320 The point is,
00:12:23.120 it doesn't work.
00:12:23.920 It also socialism
00:12:24.940 never works.
00:12:26.300 You can have socialism
00:12:28.120 or open borders,
00:12:30.700 but you cannot have both.
00:12:33.820 So which one do you want?
00:12:36.680 If you have a sign
00:12:39.000 that says free stuff for all,
00:12:42.020 you must control
00:12:43.800 the numbers coming
00:12:45.100 through the door
00:12:46.240 because you can't afford
00:12:49.020 to keep the door open
00:12:50.500 all the time
00:12:51.200 and feed people
00:12:52.320 who are not
00:12:53.140 from your neighborhood
00:12:54.160 or from your country
00:12:55.900 or whatever.
00:12:57.060 You have to have control
00:12:59.140 of the border
00:13:00.100 if you want socialism.
00:13:02.240 And open borders are not.
00:13:03.240 It fails eventually anyway.
00:13:04.580 Yes, it does.
00:13:05.240 But it just makes it
00:13:07.220 so much faster.
00:13:08.200 It makes it so much
00:13:08.860 more difficult.
00:13:09.580 Can we quickly
00:13:10.420 point out one thing here?
00:13:12.860 Yeah.
00:13:13.060 That keeps it's frustrating
00:13:14.420 to me right now.
00:13:15.120 What we're hearing
00:13:15.740 from a lot of people
00:13:16.440 in the Democratic Socialist
00:13:17.540 pitch right now
00:13:18.460 is how bad
00:13:20.000 and it's returning
00:13:21.000 to the top of the polls,
00:13:21.880 how bad the health care costs are,
00:13:24.660 how high they are,
00:13:25.780 how people are concerned about them.
00:13:27.020 It's coming to the top
00:13:27.780 of their minds yet again.
00:13:29.480 Can we all remember
00:13:30.520 that Obamacare
00:13:32.160 wasn't repealed?
00:13:34.180 It's still in force
00:13:36.040 right now.
00:13:37.300 This whole thing
00:13:38.220 you told us
00:13:38.720 was going to solve
00:13:39.860 the problems
00:13:40.680 when it came to health care.
00:13:41.840 Made the problem worse.
00:13:42.500 It didn't change anything.
00:13:44.140 It made it worse
00:13:44.960 and we never got rid of it.
00:13:47.120 They folded with it
00:13:48.060 a little bit on the edges
00:13:49.420 and they've been able
00:13:51.120 to do a couple of things
00:13:52.520 but really there's been
00:13:53.400 very little effect
00:13:54.480 from anything Trump
00:13:55.380 has done since getting
00:13:56.120 into office
00:13:56.680 or anything that
00:13:57.800 the Congress has done
00:13:58.880 since Trump got into office.
00:14:01.680 This is just Obamacare.
00:14:03.620 So when you're complaining
00:14:04.520 about the cost of health care,
00:14:05.900 you're complaining about
00:14:06.640 your solution
00:14:07.840 for the cost of health care.
00:14:10.640 And they can't let him
00:14:11.740 get away with this.
00:14:12.920 All of a sudden
00:14:13.460 now we have to go
00:14:14.020 to socialism?
00:14:15.000 We have to go further left
00:14:16.500 to solve the problem
00:14:17.380 you created
00:14:17.860 by going further left?
00:14:19.000 It's the way
00:14:19.220 they always do it.
00:14:20.340 So here's the thing.
00:14:22.100 You'll notice
00:14:22.720 that what they're saying is
00:14:23.860 let's not talk
00:14:25.620 about socialism.
00:14:27.420 Let's talk about
00:14:28.480 the cost of health care
00:14:30.540 and the cost of your home.
00:14:32.860 Well, that's fine.
00:14:34.360 except you're not
00:14:36.260 talking about
00:14:37.040 the actual cost.
00:14:40.460 The anchor mocked,
00:14:42.320 oh, these are going
00:14:43.200 to take all my money.
00:14:44.300 Yes, that's what
00:14:45.680 socialism does.
00:14:47.460 And then socialism
00:14:48.460 makes everybody
00:14:49.380 into a nice little brick.
00:14:51.800 Everybody's the same.
00:14:53.420 Well, we're not the same.
00:14:56.840 We are vastly different.
00:14:59.460 You know, I watched
00:15:00.220 a show this weekend
00:15:01.240 called The Hour
00:15:02.140 on the BBC.
00:15:03.260 It's a series
00:15:03.880 came from,
00:15:05.080 I don't know,
00:15:06.300 2012 or something
00:15:07.680 like that.
00:15:08.800 And it's really good.
00:15:11.060 It's about a TV show
00:15:12.140 that was started
00:15:12.740 in the 1950s.
00:15:13.940 It's a drama.
00:15:16.000 And it's how
00:15:18.580 they are putting on
00:15:19.600 the first kind of
00:15:20.420 like a 60 minutes
00:15:21.640 in England.
00:15:24.220 But you watch
00:15:25.320 the first few episodes
00:15:26.360 of this thing,
00:15:27.740 you are going to
00:15:28.700 appreciate
00:15:29.540 the United States
00:15:30.820 of America
00:15:31.480 America
00:15:32.480 unlike you've
00:15:32.980 ever appreciated
00:15:33.960 it before.
00:15:34.920 You are going
00:15:35.820 to appreciate
00:15:36.720 the progress
00:15:38.260 that we have
00:15:39.640 made
00:15:40.100 and how far
00:15:41.440 ahead of the game
00:15:42.260 we were from
00:15:42.940 everywhere else.
00:15:43.880 When you see
00:15:45.060 what the press
00:15:45.800 had to deal with
00:15:47.140 to be able
00:15:48.140 to get past
00:15:50.560 the government
00:15:51.320 censors
00:15:52.240 and anybody
00:15:53.900 who is liberal
00:15:54.980 at all,
00:15:56.560 watch that.
00:15:57.660 Watch that.
00:15:58.260 You tell me
00:15:59.500 that,
00:16:00.700 you know,
00:16:01.100 well,
00:16:01.380 journalism,
00:16:02.300 I mean,
00:16:02.580 it's so much
00:16:03.100 better with the BBC.
00:16:04.640 Really?
00:16:05.500 Watch it.
00:16:06.600 Watch what they
00:16:07.120 have to do.
00:16:08.760 Watch what they
00:16:09.320 have to change
00:16:10.260 because of funding.
00:16:12.460 Watch who they
00:16:12.960 have to kiss
00:16:13.620 their butts on.
00:16:15.460 Watch the censors
00:16:16.460 come in and
00:16:17.220 watch every show.
00:16:18.840 Watch the
00:16:19.260 journalists
00:16:19.940 look around
00:16:21.100 to see if
00:16:21.660 anybody from
00:16:22.220 the government
00:16:22.720 is peering
00:16:23.480 over their
00:16:24.040 shoulder.
00:16:24.860 Watch it.
00:16:25.340 that's what
00:16:27.160 a socialist
00:16:27.740 nation is.
00:16:29.480 A government,
00:16:30.800 a group of
00:16:31.900 government officials
00:16:33.280 running your
00:16:35.140 life.
00:16:37.580 Now,
00:16:38.120 I don't know
00:16:38.400 about you,
00:16:39.040 but I've never
00:16:39.620 met a government
00:16:40.280 official that I
00:16:41.800 thought would be
00:16:42.320 better running
00:16:43.340 my life than
00:16:44.140 me.
00:16:45.100 And I run my
00:16:46.180 life pretty
00:16:47.140 lousy.
00:16:49.800 I'm not good.
00:16:52.040 I will tell you
00:16:52.900 this.
00:16:53.280 I'm much
00:16:54.740 better than
00:16:55.340 the U.S.
00:16:56.040 government is.
00:16:59.160 We can all
00:17:00.040 agree, though,
00:17:00.660 that it's good
00:17:01.640 at things.
00:17:02.460 Good things
00:17:02.780 always come from
00:17:03.620 American commentators
00:17:05.220 praising the
00:17:06.000 German system.
00:17:08.000 This has never
00:17:08.480 led to anything
00:17:09.200 that turned out
00:17:09.840 negative in the
00:17:10.460 end, and we
00:17:10.960 should always
00:17:11.300 remember that.
00:17:14.320 I didn't even
00:17:15.080 get to my real
00:17:15.620 question here.
00:17:16.960 There's so much
00:17:18.040 in that clip.
00:17:18.920 Yeah, there is,
00:17:19.820 and there's so much
00:17:20.500 to talk about
00:17:21.160 today.
00:17:22.320 You see what's
00:17:22.900 happening in
00:17:23.240 South Africa?
00:17:25.260 They are taking
00:17:26.160 the homes now
00:17:26.980 of white people,
00:17:28.620 and they're
00:17:28.880 calling all
00:17:29.320 white people
00:17:29.840 murderers.
00:17:31.100 I mean, we
00:17:31.480 are on the
00:17:32.880 brink.
00:17:33.480 We are on the
00:17:34.040 brink.
00:17:34.940 All right, I
00:17:35.240 want to talk to
00:17:35.640 you a little bit
00:17:36.020 about American
00:17:36.920 financing.
00:17:37.820 I don't know
00:17:38.080 if you've
00:17:38.360 noticed, have
00:17:39.320 you seen the
00:17:39.820 interest rates?
00:17:44.280 Interest rates
00:17:44.860 are going up.
00:17:45.800 Owning a home
00:17:46.380 has never been
00:17:47.480 easier.
00:17:48.300 It is a good
00:17:48.900 investment.
00:17:49.500 If you're
00:17:52.340 looking to
00:17:52.780 buy or
00:17:53.640 refinance
00:17:55.220 your home,
00:17:55.820 I highly
00:17:57.100 recommend you
00:17:59.180 refinance your
00:18:00.220 home.
00:18:01.140 Do it now.
00:18:02.080 It is going to
00:18:02.500 become harder
00:18:03.340 and harder for
00:18:04.500 you to get a
00:18:05.420 loan.
00:18:06.940 The belt is
00:18:08.420 going to be
00:18:08.860 tightened,
00:18:09.780 and I think
00:18:11.340 that interest
00:18:13.920 rates are going
00:18:14.620 to start going
00:18:15.820 up faster and
00:18:16.660 faster.
00:18:16.980 Now, you
00:18:18.280 need somebody
00:18:18.980 who is not
00:18:19.760 trying to sell
00:18:20.640 you anything.
00:18:21.700 You need
00:18:22.060 somebody that
00:18:22.800 doesn't work on
00:18:23.560 a commission to
00:18:24.920 get you into
00:18:25.560 this particular
00:18:26.400 loan.
00:18:27.080 You need
00:18:27.460 somebody who
00:18:28.360 is looking out
00:18:29.080 for you and
00:18:29.700 listening to
00:18:30.640 you.
00:18:31.160 This is what
00:18:31.780 I have.
00:18:32.500 This is what
00:18:32.940 I need.
00:18:34.020 Is there
00:18:34.560 anything available?
00:18:35.740 And then they
00:18:36.140 go out and
00:18:36.620 find it.
00:18:37.620 It's American
00:18:38.700 financing.
00:18:40.020 I want you to
00:18:40.480 find out
00:18:40.900 information about
00:18:41.760 how you can
00:18:42.560 close on your
00:18:44.120 loan as fast
00:18:45.140 as 10 days.

00:18:48.700 I've known
00:18:49.020 these people for
00:18:49.660 a very, very
00:18:50.320 long time.
00:18:51.100 I've known
00:18:51.700 them for years
00:18:52.400 before they
00:18:53.000 became advertisers,
00:18:54.180 and I think
00:18:54.940 they are really
00:18:55.760 solid people.

00:19:24.020 Some news broke
00:19:25.040 this weekend,
00:19:26.000 and I think I
00:19:29.520 have to take a
00:19:30.300 stand that I
00:19:31.200 really don't
00:19:33.560 want to take.
00:19:34.500 You don't have
00:19:35.000 to.
00:19:35.300 I mean,
00:19:35.440 no one's
00:19:35.700 forcing you to
00:19:36.260 do anything.
00:19:37.060 We haven't,
00:19:37.620 we discussed
00:19:38.000 this?
00:19:38.800 Yes,
00:19:39.220 I think we
00:19:39.700 do.
00:19:39.940 We've discussed
00:19:40.660 it, and maybe
00:19:41.060 that's enough.
00:19:41.720 We talked
00:19:41.960 about it before
00:19:42.620 the show.
00:19:43.160 Not to speak
00:19:43.500 is to speak.
00:19:44.560 Well, but I
00:19:44.960 mean, no
00:19:45.580 one's going
00:19:45.880 to know,
00:19:46.360 and we
00:19:46.580 could change
00:19:47.040 what the
00:19:47.340 topic is
00:19:47.740 right now,
00:19:48.280 and we're
00:19:48.440 going to
00:19:48.680 know what
00:19:49.060 we said
00:19:49.420 we had
00:19:49.740 to talk
00:19:50.060 about.
00:19:51.660 Man's
00:19:52.060 character is
00:19:52.720 tested when
00:19:54.420 you have to
00:19:55.280 take a stand
00:19:56.180 for things
00:19:56.820 that you
00:19:57.220 don't want
00:19:57.960 to stand
00:19:58.440 for.
00:19:58.840 Unless you
00:19:59.080 don't.
00:19:59.920 And that's
00:20:00.760 next.
00:20:01.160 This is
00:20:05.860 the Glenn
00:20:06.220 Beck
00:20:06.440 program.
00:20:07.060 If you
00:20:07.280 only have
00:20:07.620 about five
00:20:08.560 minutes today
00:20:09.320 and you're
00:20:09.580 kind of
00:20:09.780 running around,
00:20:10.380 make sure
00:20:10.720 you come
00:20:11.120 back and
00:20:11.800 listen to
00:20:12.280 the podcast
00:20:12.780 because I
00:20:13.440 think this
00:20:13.740 is going
00:20:13.900 to be a
00:20:14.200 long
00:20:14.500 conversation
00:20:15.240 that's
00:20:15.980 going to
00:20:16.400 encompass
00:20:17.460 several news
00:20:18.320 stories today,
00:20:19.740 but it is
00:20:21.160 all around
00:20:22.060 freedom of
00:20:22.760 speech and
00:20:24.240 trusting the
00:20:25.700 American people.
00:20:27.000 Do we
00:20:27.760 trust the
00:20:29.020 American people?
00:20:29.720 And if
00:20:29.980 your answer
00:20:30.660 is no,
00:20:33.480 then we
00:20:35.180 have to
00:20:35.460 have a
00:20:35.720 deeper
00:20:35.940 conversation
00:20:36.600 about the
00:20:37.720 failure of
00:20:38.460 the American
00:20:38.920 experiment.
00:20:40.420 Because it
00:20:41.140 does not
00:20:41.820 work if we
00:20:42.760 don't trust
00:20:43.260 each other.
00:20:43.820 If we
00:20:44.100 don't trust
00:20:44.560 each other
00:20:44.920 to make
00:20:45.240 the right
00:20:45.640 decisions,
00:20:46.160 then somebody
00:20:47.500 has to be
00:20:48.000 in control
00:20:48.480 and that
00:20:48.880 means that
00:20:49.600 the American
00:20:50.780 system is
00:20:51.520 a failure.
00:20:53.640 Or at least
00:20:54.520 it is at
00:20:55.180 this point.
00:20:57.600 So,
00:20:58.080 should
00:21:01.280 we have
00:21:02.820 should I
00:21:04.460 have
00:21:04.760 members of
00:21:05.680 Antifa on
00:21:06.640 so you
00:21:07.180 can hear
00:21:08.460 them?
00:21:09.000 Or is that
00:21:09.520 just giving
00:21:09.900 them a
00:21:10.180 platform?
00:21:11.480 Should I
00:21:12.300 have members
00:21:13.060 of Patriot
00:21:13.720 Prayer on?
00:21:14.960 Or is
00:21:15.740 that just
00:21:16.220 giving them
00:21:16.680 a platform?
00:21:19.020 Should
00:21:19.620 Richard
00:21:19.940 Spencer
00:21:20.600 come on?
00:21:23.220 Alexander
00:21:23.800 Dugan,
00:21:24.300 who I think
00:21:24.620 is extraordinarily
00:21:25.720 dangerous,
00:21:26.460 should he
00:21:27.760 be a
00:21:28.320 guest?
00:21:30.280 And I'm
00:21:31.100 not saying
00:21:31.560 have a
00:21:32.340 an open
00:21:33.380 forum to
00:21:34.280 say whatever
00:21:34.960 you want,
00:21:36.040 but to
00:21:37.520 without
00:21:38.260 pushback,
00:21:39.660 but I'm
00:21:41.120 not saying
00:21:41.780 set up a
00:21:42.640 confrontation
00:21:43.100 either.
00:21:44.080 What I'm
00:21:44.740 saying is
00:21:45.520 why do
00:21:47.880 people join
00:21:48.440 these groups?
00:21:49.640 They join
00:21:50.620 these groups
00:21:51.100 because nobody's
00:21:52.740 listening to
00:21:53.620 them and
00:21:55.120 nobody is
00:21:55.720 reflecting
00:21:56.260 their
00:21:56.820 concerns.
00:21:59.280 Now, I
00:22:00.120 don't think
00:22:00.900 that racism
00:22:02.560 is taking
00:22:03.780 over our
00:22:04.380 nation.
00:22:04.900 I really
00:22:05.280 don't.
00:22:06.180 I do
00:22:07.140 think that
00:22:07.880 there is a
00:22:08.480 strong pushback
00:22:09.920 from
00:22:10.240 multiculturalism,
00:22:11.820 and that's
00:22:13.100 totally different,
00:22:14.580 and we should
00:22:15.020 have that
00:22:15.540 conversation.
00:22:18.160 But is
00:22:19.020 there a
00:22:19.400 limit to
00:22:19.820 free speech?
00:22:20.600 I don't
00:22:21.260 think there
00:22:21.720 is.
00:22:24.640 Let me
00:22:25.280 give you
00:22:25.560 the first
00:22:25.980 example.
00:22:29.080 I think
00:22:29.860 if you've
00:22:30.240 listened to
00:22:30.720 me for
00:22:31.260 very long,
00:22:31.960 you know
00:22:32.220 exactly how
00:22:33.000 I feel
00:22:33.340 about Alex
00:22:33.920 Jones.
00:22:35.480 I don't
00:22:36.200 like Alex
00:22:36.800 Jones.
00:22:37.460 I think
00:22:37.860 Alex Jones
00:22:38.420 is a
00:22:38.800 dangerous
00:22:39.220 man.
00:22:40.400 I think
00:22:40.660 Alex Jones
00:22:41.440 has,
00:22:43.020 I think
00:22:43.960 there's a
00:22:44.820 possibility
00:22:45.580 in listening
00:22:47.380 to him
00:22:47.800 that he
00:22:48.100 has a
00:22:48.680 serious,
00:22:49.200 some sort
00:22:50.660 of mental
00:22:51.140 condition
00:22:51.900 that he's
00:22:54.960 over the
00:22:55.340 edge,
00:22:56.480 in my
00:22:56.720 opinion.
00:22:57.100 You could
00:22:57.300 say without
00:22:57.600 the millions
00:22:58.040 of dollars,
00:22:58.640 Alex Jones
00:22:59.160 is the
00:22:59.480 guy on
00:22:59.820 the corner
00:23:00.180 with the
00:23:00.560 megaphone.
00:23:01.220 The problem
00:23:01.800 with that
00:23:02.100 analysis is
00:23:02.980 that with
00:23:03.600 the millions
00:23:04.080 of dollars,
00:23:04.680 he's the
00:23:04.920 guy on
00:23:05.200 the corner
00:23:05.520 with the
00:23:05.840 megaphone.
00:23:06.440 Correct.
00:23:07.480 Okay,
00:23:07.840 so now
00:23:08.340 people have
00:23:09.800 been suing
00:23:10.260 him,
00:23:10.600 and I
00:23:10.820 think
00:23:11.100 rightfully
00:23:12.020 so,
00:23:12.580 if they've
00:23:14.120 been slandered
00:23:15.380 or libeled
00:23:16.160 and some
00:23:18.360 of the
00:23:18.560 stuff
00:23:18.760 he's
00:23:19.020 done
00:23:19.220 has
00:23:19.440 just
00:23:19.620 been
00:23:19.820 despicable,
00:23:20.620 just
00:23:20.840 despicable.
00:23:22.440 However,
00:23:23.220 now he's
00:23:24.040 being taken
00:23:24.540 off of
00:23:24.960 Facebook,
00:23:26.100 he's being
00:23:26.960 taken off
00:23:27.560 of Apple
00:23:28.060 iTunes.
00:23:29.000 By the
00:23:29.600 way,
00:23:29.740 those are
00:23:29.940 two big
00:23:30.920 breaking
00:23:31.360 stories over
00:23:31.880 the past
00:23:32.180 24 hours.
00:23:33.240 They removed
00:23:34.380 four of his
00:23:35.280 podcasts off
00:23:36.220 of iTunes
00:23:36.820 and removed
00:23:38.160 his...
00:23:38.600 But only
00:23:38.900 four?
00:23:39.400 They're not
00:23:39.660 taking him
00:23:40.080 entirely.
00:23:41.180 There's one
00:23:41.940 program for
00:23:42.740 whatever reason
00:23:43.500 didn't get
00:23:44.220 pulled.
00:23:44.740 It's called
00:23:45.360 News Night
00:23:46.440 8 or
00:23:46.600 something.
00:23:47.520 And I
00:23:48.080 don't know
00:23:48.340 if that's
00:23:48.680 a different
00:23:49.060 type of
00:23:49.600 show that
00:23:50.000 maybe doesn't
00:23:50.540 deal in the
00:23:51.040 same types
00:23:51.400 of stuff
00:23:51.660 Alex Jones
00:23:52.120 does.
00:23:52.380 It's not
00:23:52.900 hosted by
00:23:53.520 Alex Jones.
00:23:54.040 It's hosted
00:23:54.300 by somebody
00:23:54.720 else.
00:23:55.420 And then
00:23:55.740 they also
00:23:56.520 have four
00:23:58.500 pages from
00:23:59.180 InfoWars and
00:23:59.780 Alex Jones
00:24:00.260 were taken
00:24:00.660 down,
00:24:01.480 which are
00:24:01.780 the Alex
00:24:02.320 Jones channel,
00:24:03.140 the Alex
00:24:03.520 Jones page,
00:24:04.380 the InfoWars
00:24:05.020 page,
00:24:05.480 and the InfoWars
00:24:06.240 nightly news
00:24:06.940 page.
00:24:07.460 So if you
00:24:08.380 yesterday were
00:24:10.260 looking for
00:24:10.980 Alex Jones,
00:24:11.620 you may have
00:24:12.040 found him.
00:24:12.520 Today you're
00:24:12.940 not going to
00:24:13.420 find him.
00:24:13.900 I mean a
00:24:16.660 celebration in
00:24:18.000 some regard
00:24:19.060 for, you
00:24:21.100 know, common
00:24:22.440 decency.
00:24:23.800 However, a
00:24:25.800 very sad day
00:24:26.860 for freedom
00:24:27.540 of speech.
00:24:29.180 Now, iTunes
00:24:31.160 and Facebook,
00:24:32.320 they're private
00:24:32.840 corporations.
00:24:33.440 They can do
00:24:34.200 whatever they
00:24:34.700 want.
00:24:34.980 They can make
00:24:35.520 it up as
00:24:35.960 they go if
00:24:36.600 they want.
00:24:37.100 I don't
00:24:37.600 like it, but
00:24:39.160 they're a
00:24:39.560 private
00:24:40.000 corporation.
00:24:41.540 So if they
00:24:42.420 decide that's
00:24:43.180 what they
00:24:43.480 want to do,
00:24:44.120 well, they're
00:24:44.540 a private
00:24:44.920 corporation and
00:24:45.740 we don't have
00:24:46.380 anything to
00:24:46.860 say about
00:24:47.300 it unless we
00:24:48.740 make them
00:24:49.360 into a
00:24:50.120 utility, which
00:24:51.360 is really
00:24:52.840 bad.
00:24:53.940 Because once
00:24:54.760 we make
00:24:55.180 them into
00:24:55.660 utility, well,
00:24:58.080 good heavens.
00:25:00.420 Now you've
00:25:01.120 got the
00:25:01.380 federal government
00:25:02.100 deciding who's
00:25:03.740 good, who's
00:25:04.260 bad.
00:25:05.520 And how
00:25:06.060 ridiculous would
00:25:06.640 that be?
00:25:07.040 As soon as it
00:25:07.440 was a utility,
00:25:08.220 it would start
00:25:08.600 being run
00:25:09.100 terribly and
00:25:09.880 everyone would
00:25:10.400 bail on it
00:25:10.880 anyway and
00:25:11.500 then there
00:25:11.700 would be a
00:25:11.980 new site that
00:25:12.440 everyone went
00:25:12.880 to anyway.
00:25:14.260 It's a silly,
00:25:15.320 silly solution.
00:25:16.320 So it won't
00:25:16.760 work.
00:25:17.600 Now, he
00:25:18.420 hasn't been
00:25:18.960 taken off the
00:25:19.620 internet.
00:25:20.360 The problem
00:25:21.120 is, though,
00:25:21.660 you need a
00:25:22.300 provider, you
00:25:24.020 need a platform
00:25:25.380 to be able to
00:25:27.280 have a place
00:25:28.640 on the internet
00:25:29.280 and the
00:25:29.820 platforms are
00:25:30.680 kicking him
00:25:31.160 off, which
00:25:31.900 again, because
00:25:33.220 they're private,
00:25:33.920 they have a
00:25:35.260 right to do
00:25:36.080 that.
00:25:37.620 But should
00:25:39.880 voices be
00:25:40.940 silenced in
00:25:42.100 America?
00:25:45.480 Should
00:25:46.160 communist
00:25:46.800 voices have
00:25:47.800 been silenced
00:25:48.680 in the
00:25:49.140 1950s?
00:25:52.340 Should the
00:25:53.220 voices of,
00:25:54.660 you know, the
00:25:55.180 homosexual league
00:25:56.420 in the 1950s,
00:25:57.880 should they
00:25:58.560 have been
00:25:59.040 silenced?
00:25:59.600 I'm not
00:26:03.220 comparing
00:26:03.780 Alex Jones
00:26:04.720 to, well,
00:26:07.060 kind of
00:26:07.400 communism is,
00:26:08.360 I think, just
00:26:08.760 as destructive
00:26:09.380 as Alex Jones
00:26:10.380 is.
00:26:13.100 But the
00:26:13.720 thing, whatever
00:26:14.180 is opposed
00:26:15.280 at that time,
00:26:16.260 right?
00:26:16.520 I mean, back
00:26:16.940 in the 50s,
00:26:17.520 there was a
00:26:17.920 totally different
00:26:18.460 set of values,
00:26:19.000 which is why
00:26:19.700 these points
00:26:20.600 are supposed
00:26:21.520 to be self-evident
00:26:22.440 and long-lasting,
00:26:23.700 because the
00:26:24.720 thing that we
00:26:25.220 oppose changes.
00:26:26.940 The thing
00:26:27.320 that is
00:26:27.600 absolutely
00:26:28.160 beyond the
00:26:29.420 pale, that
00:26:29.900 could never
00:26:30.240 be allowed
00:26:30.700 to be heard,
00:26:31.780 changes from
00:26:32.760 year to year,
00:26:33.740 seemingly now
00:26:34.520 from minute
00:26:35.040 to minute.
00:26:36.940 And, you
00:26:37.540 know, I
00:26:37.920 don't know.
00:26:38.260 I mean, it's
00:26:38.940 interesting to
00:26:39.460 see what's
00:26:39.800 happening here.
00:26:40.740 Think about,
00:26:41.760 forget Alex
00:26:42.480 Jones and the
00:26:42.900 things he says
00:26:43.900 for a second,
00:26:45.220 and the nonsense
00:26:46.080 he spews.
00:26:47.200 They're despicable.
00:26:48.080 Yeah.
00:26:49.260 The guy's built
00:26:50.220 a business,
00:26:51.320 right?
00:26:51.780 The guy's built
00:26:52.220 a nice big
00:26:52.760 business where
00:26:53.280 he sells,
00:26:53.960 he tells,
00:26:54.780 you know,
00:26:55.020 he's be able to
00:26:55.680 sell to his
00:26:56.400 listeners and
00:26:57.100 viewers pills
00:26:58.140 that will
00:26:59.400 change your
00:27:00.080 genitals.
00:27:01.760 He's selling
00:27:02.760 male vitality
00:27:03.860 formula to
00:27:04.520 millions of
00:27:05.180 people,
00:27:05.520 apparently.
00:27:06.100 Congratulations on
00:27:07.000 that.
00:27:07.620 Again, I don't
00:27:08.980 think this is a
00:27:09.900 good business,
00:27:10.420 but think about
00:27:10.980 what the
00:27:11.280 business is,
00:27:11.860 right?
00:27:12.320 He's built
00:27:12.840 his entire
00:27:13.640 business on
00:27:15.500 things like
00:27:16.480 YouTube and
00:27:18.320 iTunes and
00:27:20.540 Facebook and
00:27:21.840 other social
00:27:22.360 media.
00:27:23.060 His entire
00:27:23.560 business is
00:27:24.000 there.
00:27:24.160 Now, it's
00:27:24.740 funny because
00:27:25.160 Infowars,
00:27:26.080 as far as
00:27:27.000 I understand
00:27:27.500 it, and I'm
00:27:27.900 no Alex
00:27:28.340 Jones historian
00:27:29.000 here, but
00:27:29.400 Infowars was
00:27:30.440 essentially an
00:27:30.920 idea to
00:27:31.860 the big
00:27:34.440 media people,
00:27:35.440 those evil
00:27:35.940 corporate people
00:27:36.940 like the
00:27:37.300 ones, the
00:27:38.460 people who
00:27:39.360 actually hire
00:27:40.120 others,
00:27:41.460 those people,
00:27:42.680 even evil
00:27:43.640 talk radio
00:27:44.360 is these
00:27:46.520 corporate
00:27:46.920 interests.
00:27:47.940 So I'm
00:27:48.260 going around
00:27:49.320 those corporate
00:27:49.880 interests and
00:27:50.260 bringing it
00:27:50.600 right to you
00:27:51.220 on YouTube
00:27:52.060 and Facebook
00:27:52.820 and iTunes.
00:27:53.720 And now
00:27:54.540 YouTube and
00:27:55.160 Facebook and
00:27:55.620 iTunes are
00:27:56.060 saying, no,
00:27:57.580 we're not
00:27:57.920 going to allow
00:27:58.480 you to do
00:27:58.880 that anymore.
00:27:59.880 So here's a
00:28:00.800 company that's
00:28:01.660 built, it has
00:28:02.720 a bunch of
00:28:03.820 tentacles in
00:28:06.460 all of these
00:28:06.880 different major
00:28:08.040 platforms, and
00:28:10.460 one by one
00:28:11.420 they are being
00:28:11.920 targeted by,
00:28:13.720 there are,
00:28:14.280 you know, the
00:28:14.640 BuzzFeed article
00:28:15.240 about iTunes
00:28:16.600 talks about a
00:28:17.420 group called
00:28:18.680 I'm not
00:28:19.160 familiar with,
00:28:20.360 it's called
00:28:21.320 Sleeping Giants,
00:28:22.800 and they are
00:28:24.740 apparently a
00:28:25.660 group targeting
00:28:26.500 Alex Jones and
00:28:28.480 all these media
00:28:29.080 sources to get
00:28:29.760 them to take
00:28:30.400 him off the
00:28:30.800 platform.
00:28:31.780 Same time,
00:28:32.460 Alex Jones is
00:28:32.900 being sued by
00:28:34.080 like, seemingly
00:28:35.460 a new group
00:28:37.120 every week,
00:28:38.380 and I've
00:28:39.360 openly speculated
00:28:40.620 about this, and
00:28:41.120 this is Alex
00:28:41.840 Jones level
00:28:42.320 conspiracy theory,
00:28:43.120 I have absolutely
00:28:43.740 no information,
00:28:44.780 but I feel like
00:28:45.460 it's one of those
00:28:45.960 things where
00:28:46.640 similar to
00:28:48.000 Peter Thiel as
00:28:48.860 he went after
00:28:49.480 Gawker, there's
00:28:51.240 some big funder
00:28:52.200 who's funding
00:28:52.780 lots of lawsuits
00:28:53.640 against Alex
00:28:54.200 Jones right now.
00:28:55.580 I could be
00:28:56.520 completely wrong
00:28:57.240 about that, but
00:28:57.660 it feels the
00:28:58.320 same way, and
00:28:58.700 again, completely
00:28:59.240 legal, I'm sure
00:29:00.640 it's not Peter
00:29:01.140 Thiel doing it,
00:29:01.940 it would be
00:29:02.320 somebody else
00:29:02.800 using that
00:29:03.980 playbook, but
00:29:05.040 it is interesting
00:29:05.740 to see, he's
00:29:06.380 being targeted
00:29:06.820 by multiple
00:29:07.540 lawsuits all at
00:29:08.680 the same time,
00:29:09.080 he's been saying
00:29:09.880 this nonsense
00:29:10.400 forever, when
00:29:11.380 Alex Jones came
00:29:12.500 into our lives,
00:29:13.760 he was pairing
00:29:14.560 with socialists
00:29:15.720 like Cynthia
00:29:16.600 McKinney to
00:29:17.580 complain about
00:29:18.120 the Bush
00:29:18.520 administration,
00:29:19.500 blowing up
00:29:19.940 the World Trade
00:29:21.060 Center, that
00:29:21.880 is who this
00:29:22.320 guy is, he's
00:29:22.840 never been a
00:29:23.600 conservative or
00:29:24.580 a right winger,
00:29:25.700 9-11 truther
00:29:27.240 stuff really was
00:29:29.080 born with him,
00:29:30.320 yeah, he's the
00:29:30.880 father of that
00:29:31.660 movement basically,
00:29:33.080 and now we're
00:29:33.500 all supposed to
00:29:33.980 act as if he's
00:29:34.700 some hardcore
00:29:35.260 right winger,
00:29:36.360 and that doesn't
00:29:37.140 make any sense,
00:29:37.940 he never was,
00:29:38.900 and that's,
00:29:39.440 no, he has
00:29:39.760 Alexander Duganon
00:29:40.920 on a regular
00:29:41.740 basis, in a
00:29:44.180 positive way,
00:29:45.740 right, the left
00:29:46.240 loves, they're
00:29:47.200 doing the same
00:29:47.840 thing they did
00:29:48.760 with fascism,
00:29:50.300 when Mussolini
00:29:51.240 was no right
00:29:52.760 winger,
00:29:53.940 like it's
00:29:54.300 just insanity,
00:29:55.880 he was a
00:29:56.280 socialist,
00:29:56.800 do you know
00:29:58.140 how fascism
00:29:59.720 really began,
00:30:01.500 do you know
00:30:01.920 what that was,
00:30:03.580 that was from
00:30:04.680 Mussolini,
00:30:05.640 he's in
00:30:06.880 World War I,
00:30:08.200 and he sees
00:30:09.080 how people
00:30:09.660 are fighting,
00:30:10.900 and he comes
00:30:11.940 out the other
00:30:12.420 side, and he's
00:30:13.080 like, look man,
00:30:14.140 communism is the
00:30:15.040 way to go,
00:30:16.160 but nobody in
00:30:17.400 Italy was fighting
00:30:18.500 for the workers
00:30:19.700 of the world,
00:30:20.680 they were fighting
00:30:21.440 for Italy,
00:30:22.560 so we have to
00:30:24.660 make this
00:30:25.100 national socialism,
00:30:26.720 not international
00:30:27.860 socialism,
00:30:29.180 international socialist
00:30:30.840 workers of the
00:30:31.880 world,
00:30:32.720 that is,
00:30:34.040 that's communism,
00:30:35.740 national socialist
00:30:37.220 workers,
00:30:37.920 that's fascism,
00:30:40.460 the only
00:30:41.300 difference is,
00:30:44.000 are you
00:30:44.500 nationalist,
00:30:45.700 do you own
00:30:46.480 everything,
00:30:47.700 or do you
00:30:48.480 govern it,
00:30:50.340 and own some
00:30:51.360 of it,
00:30:51.680 but you tell
00:30:52.520 industry what
00:30:53.420 to do,
00:30:54.040 that's why the
00:30:55.340 voting records
00:30:56.220 of the Nazi
00:30:57.880 party and the
00:30:58.860 communist party
00:30:59.520 are incredibly
00:31:00.560 similar,
00:31:01.160 up until they
00:31:02.040 started really
00:31:02.580 hating each
00:31:03.020 other,
00:31:03.360 and the
00:31:03.580 struggle for
00:31:03.960 power,
00:31:04.400 but their
00:31:04.840 voting records,
00:31:05.600 they supported
00:31:06.280 the same
00:31:06.640 policies largely,
00:31:07.920 so it's
00:31:09.700 interesting to
00:31:10.200 kind of see
00:31:10.560 this happen,
00:31:10.960 because that's
00:31:11.300 been what the
00:31:12.140 media has done
00:31:12.500 for a long
00:31:12.840 time,
00:31:13.120 they're trying
00:31:13.460 to push
00:31:13.780 Alex Jones,
00:31:14.460 and look,
00:31:15.040 he really
00:31:15.520 likes Trump,
00:31:16.160 so I can
00:31:16.480 see there
00:31:17.040 is a sensible
00:31:17.720 tie there,
00:31:21.300 I'm not saying
00:31:21.780 there's nothing
00:31:22.280 there,
00:31:22.640 but they've
00:31:23.080 been trying
00:31:23.300 to push
00:31:23.620 Alex Jones
00:31:24.140 off on the
00:31:24.520 right for a
00:31:24.960 very long
00:31:25.360 time,
00:31:26.220 but it's
00:31:27.240 interesting to
00:31:27.700 see this
00:31:27.940 happen,
00:31:28.380 because there's
00:31:30.240 nobody who
00:31:30.980 thinks Alex
00:31:32.020 Jones is worse
00:31:32.660 for the world
00:31:33.240 than I am
00:31:34.200 and you,
00:31:34.940 I mean,
00:31:35.080 I think he's
00:31:36.140 terrible,
00:31:36.460 he's a
00:31:36.860 terrible,
00:31:37.240 terrible influence
00:31:37.820 and I hate
00:31:38.180 the fact that
00:31:38.560 he,
00:31:38.680 that Wright has
00:31:40.440 to bear some
00:31:41.060 ownership of
00:31:41.820 his ridiculous
00:31:42.500 nonsense,
00:31:43.720 but the idea,
00:31:44.820 it seems to me
00:31:45.480 that the simple
00:31:46.080 thing to do
00:31:46.700 here is to
00:31:48.020 let people,
00:31:48.920 when they sign
00:31:49.460 up to hear
00:31:49.920 something,
00:31:50.500 let them hear
00:31:51.100 it,
00:31:52.320 like the idea
00:31:53.180 that you need
00:31:53.660 to go through
00:31:54.180 Facebook,
00:31:54.740 and they have
00:31:55.020 every right to
00:31:55.780 do this,
00:31:56.420 they're a private
00:31:57.000 company as you
00:31:57.580 mentioned,
00:31:58.320 but it's like the
00:31:58.840 idea that they
00:31:59.300 have to go
00:31:59.660 through and
00:32:00.800 try to manipulate
00:32:01.680 what people hear
00:32:03.040 when they've
00:32:03.600 chosen to try
00:32:04.480 to seek it
00:32:05.160 out is a bad
00:32:06.500 idea.
00:32:07.080 Here's the
00:32:07.320 amazing thing,
00:32:08.220 Facebook came
00:32:09.800 to people like
00:32:10.460 us,
00:32:10.820 content creators,
00:32:11.980 and said,
00:32:12.840 hey,
00:32:13.200 put your content
00:32:14.160 on here,
00:32:15.500 give us your
00:32:16.640 listeners,
00:32:17.880 and then we'll
00:32:19.440 provide a place
00:32:21.020 to where you
00:32:21.800 can communicate
00:32:22.740 with them in a
00:32:24.200 different way,
00:32:25.200 so we did.
00:32:26.960 You went to
00:32:28.140 Facebook,
00:32:28.940 a lot of our
00:32:29.760 audience went to
00:32:30.540 Facebook and Twitter
00:32:31.400 for the very
00:32:32.140 first time,
00:32:32.800 because we
00:32:33.440 said,
00:32:34.620 hey,
00:32:34.840 we're there,
00:32:36.060 help support
00:32:36.760 us,
00:32:37.780 yada yada.
00:32:38.800 Then once they
00:32:39.680 got all of our
00:32:40.400 listeners,
00:32:40.960 then Facebook
00:32:41.660 said,
00:32:42.240 yeah,
00:32:42.420 well,
00:32:42.540 those listeners,
00:32:43.300 they don't
00:32:43.600 really want
00:32:44.680 Glenn.
00:32:45.820 They're not
00:32:46.440 really here for
00:32:47.140 them.
00:32:47.480 We'll give
00:32:48.020 them some
00:32:48.680 Glenn and
00:32:49.940 access,
00:32:50.820 but not all
00:32:52.440 of it.
00:32:52.620 We're going to
00:32:53.000 throw some
00:32:53.460 other things
00:32:54.000 and we think
00:32:54.560 they're going
00:32:54.860 to like.
00:32:55.800 Okay,
00:32:56.260 well,
00:32:56.400 that's good,
00:32:57.400 but wait a
00:32:58.780 minute.
00:32:59.460 I just gave
00:33:00.760 you my
00:33:01.400 listeners so
00:33:02.980 we could
00:33:03.500 communicate.
00:33:04.340 Now you're
00:33:05.180 boxing me out
00:33:06.560 of my
00:33:07.280 communication with
00:33:08.440 my listeners.
00:33:09.280 If they want
00:33:09.960 to do that,
00:33:11.120 that's fine.
00:33:11.580 They want to
00:33:11.880 thumbs down
00:33:12.620 stuff and then
00:33:13.200 the algorithm
00:33:13.700 changes.
00:33:14.240 That's fine,
00:33:14.880 but you're
00:33:15.700 changing the
00:33:16.380 algorithm and
00:33:17.680 then they box
00:33:18.480 you out and
00:33:19.020 then say,
00:33:19.880 oh,
00:33:19.980 by the way,
00:33:20.480 Glenn,
00:33:20.780 if you want
00:33:21.440 access to the
00:33:22.340 people you
00:33:22.880 brought to the
00:33:23.460 table,
00:33:23.940 you have to
00:33:24.900 pay for it
00:33:25.620 or worse.
00:33:27.280 We're not
00:33:28.020 going to let
00:33:28.540 them see your
00:33:29.280 stuff or
00:33:30.280 worse.
00:33:30.860 You actually
00:33:32.080 pay to get
00:33:32.940 access to
00:33:33.360 them initially
00:33:33.980 and then you
00:33:34.720 pull the rug
00:33:35.120 out after we've
00:33:35.900 given you the
00:33:36.300 money because a
00:33:37.320 lot of these
00:33:37.580 places have
00:33:38.100 paid for
00:33:38.600 advertising to
00:33:39.300 acquire these
00:33:40.300 listeners.
00:33:41.040 Think about
00:33:41.340 this.
00:33:41.520 There's never
00:33:42.000 been,
00:33:42.820 never been,
00:33:44.380 I think
00:33:45.280 probably the
00:33:45.960 history of
00:33:46.300 the world has
00:33:47.120 never been
00:33:47.460 more free
00:33:48.000 advertising given
00:33:48.880 to a company
00:33:49.660 than Facebook
00:33:50.860 and Twitter.
00:33:51.920 Every single
00:33:53.080 show that
00:33:54.340 comes on the
00:33:54.880 air will tell
00:33:55.540 you to go to
00:33:56.180 Facebook or
00:33:56.820 Twitter to get
00:33:57.760 their information.
00:33:58.860 And then when
00:33:59.140 they go there
00:33:59.740 and they take
00:34:00.120 the time to
00:34:00.660 sign up,
00:34:01.820 then later on
00:34:02.620 you say no.
00:34:03.420 I mean,
00:34:03.580 how many times
00:34:04.040 has probably
00:34:04.640 Alex Jones
00:34:05.380 said,
00:34:06.520 go to
00:34:07.140 Facebook,
00:34:07.700 go to
00:34:08.120 iTunes and
00:34:08.640 get my
00:34:08.880 podcast?
00:34:09.600 All these
00:34:10.160 people go
00:34:10.680 there,
00:34:11.080 they sign up
00:34:11.940 to get it,
00:34:12.720 and then
00:34:13.340 block out.
00:34:14.200 They get
00:34:14.400 blocked out.
00:34:15.000 And it's not
00:34:15.440 just,
00:34:15.780 that's not
00:34:16.120 what's happening
00:34:16.640 to him.
00:34:17.060 He's actually
00:34:17.660 being removed.
00:34:18.760 And he's not
00:34:19.180 being removed
00:34:19.500 for fake news,
00:34:20.240 by the way,
00:34:20.780 or lying about
00:34:21.600 the 9-11
00:34:22.080 conspiracy theory.
00:34:22.900 He's being
00:34:24.140 removed because
00:34:25.240 he's apparently
00:34:26.340 violated their
00:34:28.040 hate speech
00:34:28.740 guidelines.
00:34:30.880 And again,
00:34:31.420 they have the
00:34:32.200 right to have
00:34:32.560 those guidelines.
00:34:34.700 So I am
00:34:36.040 stuck in this
00:34:36.880 place to where
00:34:37.800 I am a
00:34:38.540 free speech
00:34:39.340 absolutist,
00:34:41.000 first they
00:34:45.720 come for
00:34:46.060 Alex Jones.
00:34:48.280 So,
00:34:48.900 longer
00:34:49.960 conversation.
00:34:50.820 We have
00:34:51.080 a couple of
00:34:52.000 other things
00:34:52.440 that fit
00:34:52.900 into that
00:34:53.720 today.
00:34:54.760 We'll get
00:34:55.020 to in just
00:34:55.500 a moment.
00:34:57.720 Let me tell
00:34:58.320 you about
00:34:58.560 SimpliSafe.
00:34:59.540 They are a
00:35:00.320 sponsor of
00:35:00.840 this half
00:35:01.180 hour,
00:35:01.640 and we
00:35:02.040 are very
00:35:02.680 grateful for
00:35:03.540 their loyalty
00:35:04.420 to this
00:35:05.180 program and
00:35:06.900 to their
00:35:07.420 sponsorship over
00:35:08.180 the last,
00:35:08.780 what,
00:35:08.960 half decade?
00:35:09.480 They have
00:35:10.580 fantastic
00:35:11.480 protection.
00:35:12.620 It's really
00:35:13.260 easy to
00:35:13.900 use,
00:35:14.400 and they've
00:35:15.880 gone from
00:35:16.360 a company,
00:35:17.400 when they
00:35:17.720 first joined
00:35:18.200 us,
00:35:18.340 I think they
00:35:18.640 had five
00:35:18.980 people,
00:35:19.980 and it
00:35:20.540 was just
00:35:20.900 a small
00:35:21.400 little
00:35:21.660 company,
00:35:22.620 and they
00:35:23.520 were just
00:35:23.920 making these
00:35:24.940 really good
00:35:25.880 devices that
00:35:26.800 had,
00:35:27.100 it was born
00:35:27.940 out of,
00:35:28.780 you know,
00:35:30.860 born out of
00:35:31.380 necessity for
00:35:32.260 their friends,
00:35:33.200 and they
00:35:34.500 thought,
00:35:34.940 you know,
00:35:35.240 I think we
00:35:35.680 have a
00:35:35.940 business here.
00:35:36.600 We have
00:35:37.060 a really
00:35:37.600 good home
00:35:38.960 alarm system
00:35:39.760 that doesn't
00:35:40.480 have any
00:35:40.780 contracts,
00:35:41.500 and,
00:35:42.080 you know,
00:35:42.200 has the
00:35:42.500 24-7
00:35:43.080 monitoring,
00:35:43.800 and everything
00:35:44.100 else,
00:35:44.900 and it
00:35:45.200 doesn't cost
00:35:45.780 us very
00:35:46.160 much to
00:35:46.540 make it.
00:35:47.480 Well,
00:35:47.740 now they've
00:35:48.200 just been
00:35:48.820 made into
00:35:50.040 a billion
00:35:50.920 dollar company,
00:35:52.100 which is
00:35:53.680 just phenomenal,
00:35:54.920 and we
00:35:55.400 couldn't be
00:35:55.800 happier.
00:35:56.460 What that
00:35:56.700 means is,
00:35:57.900 is Simply
00:35:58.480 Safe is
00:36:00.220 being recognized
00:36:01.320 by people
00:36:02.460 like you
00:36:03.080 and businesses
00:36:03.760 as the
00:36:05.160 best out
00:36:06.000 there.
00:36:07.280 Comprehensive
00:36:07.800 security for
00:36:09.120 your home,
00:36:10.140 24-7
00:36:10.940 monitoring that
00:36:11.580 is only
00:36:11.880 $14.99
00:36:14.240 a month,
00:36:15.140 and you
00:36:15.900 can use it
00:36:16.280 for your
00:36:16.560 business,
00:36:16.880 and you
00:36:17.620 control all
00:36:18.820 of it.
00:36:19.140 You own
00:36:19.680 it.
00:36:20.520 Simply Safe,
00:36:21.260 you owe it
00:36:21.760 to yourself to

00:36:27.600 already
00:36:27.920 incredibly
00:36:28.420 priced.
00:36:29.200 It is

00:36:36.000 Back with
00:36:39.840 a Venezuela
00:36:40.540 update in a
00:36:42.260 minute.
00:36:44.520 Glenn Beck.
00:36:46.500 Shield of
00:36:47.020 Love.
00:36:47.460 Doesn't
00:36:47.640 Shield of
00:36:48.100 Love sound
00:36:48.420 like something
00:36:48.840 like the
00:36:49.180 BG?
00:36:49.620 Shield of
00:36:50.460 Love.
00:36:51.220 Doesn't
00:36:51.420 it sound
00:36:51.760 like some
00:36:52.780 crappy
00:36:53.380 70s song?
00:36:55.220 But it's
00:36:56.060 not.
00:36:56.560 It is what
00:36:57.260 protected the
00:36:58.360 Venezuelan
00:36:59.260 president,
00:37:00.400 Nicolas Maduro.
00:37:01.360 He said he
00:37:02.540 was protected
00:37:03.640 by a shield
00:37:04.560 of love
00:37:05.360 from the
00:37:06.160 assassination
00:37:06.580 attempt over
00:37:07.320 the weekend.
00:37:08.280 Now,
00:37:08.400 I'm not
00:37:08.640 really sure
00:37:09.280 if this
00:37:10.700 was a
00:37:11.060 real
00:37:11.300 assassination
00:37:11.780 attempt.
00:37:13.140 It's a
00:37:13.800 shield of
00:37:14.220 something that
00:37:14.740 is protecting
00:37:15.340 him.
00:37:15.900 It wasn't
00:37:16.700 the hundreds
00:37:17.080 of soldiers
00:37:17.720 assembled
00:37:18.300 his speech.
00:37:19.240 If you
00:37:19.400 saw the
00:37:19.900 video,
00:37:20.440 it was
00:37:20.740 pretty
00:37:21.020 amazing.
00:37:22.400 It shows
00:37:23.300 the president
00:37:23.900 standing up
00:37:24.540 there and
00:37:24.920 you hear a
00:37:26.100 sound of
00:37:27.120 an explosion
00:37:27.680 of some
00:37:28.140 sort.
00:37:28.960 Everybody
00:37:29.200 looks up
00:37:29.840 and they're
00:37:30.040 like,
00:37:30.220 oh,
00:37:30.400 my gosh,
00:37:30.940 his wife
00:37:31.840 is clearly
00:37:32.360 frightened.
00:37:33.700 Soldiers and
00:37:34.320 everybody are
00:37:34.820 kind of look
00:37:35.340 up and
00:37:36.420 then it
00:37:37.240 cuts to
00:37:37.820 the crowd
00:37:38.280 shots and
00:37:38.840 then all of
00:37:39.180 a sudden
00:37:39.460 you see
00:37:41.140 the soldiers
00:37:42.600 just start
00:37:43.060 to run.
00:37:44.880 You know,
00:37:45.120 it's like,
00:37:45.960 oh,
00:37:46.420 he's got
00:37:47.000 cooties and
00:37:47.800 all of them
00:37:48.280 run.
00:37:48.600 It's quite
00:37:48.900 an amazing
00:37:49.280 thing.
00:37:50.100 Anyway,
00:37:50.920 Maduro was
00:37:51.480 in the
00:37:51.700 middle of
00:37:52.000 this televised
00:37:52.680 speech.
00:37:53.420 The explosion
00:37:54.360 caused the
00:37:54.960 panic in
00:37:55.440 the crowd
00:37:55.960 and,
00:37:56.880 you know,
00:37:57.520 it got worse
00:37:58.460 from there.
00:37:59.020 Now,
00:37:59.220 three hours
00:37:59.840 later,
00:38:00.340 Maduro
00:38:01.160 was back
00:38:01.840 on TV
00:38:02.500 having
00:38:03.220 uncovered
00:38:03.780 the supposed
00:38:04.860 conspiracy.
00:38:07.420 So,
00:38:07.660 dictators,
00:38:09.240 you know,
00:38:09.500 they seem
00:38:09.860 to be
00:38:10.120 very fast
00:38:10.940 detectives.
00:38:14.480 I don't
00:38:14.800 know.
00:38:15.960 Hitler was
00:38:16.720 a very fast
00:38:17.540 detective.
00:38:18.960 He says
00:38:19.920 that two
00:38:20.220 drones were
00:38:20.740 carrying
00:38:21.020 explosives that
00:38:21.820 were intended
00:38:22.300 for him,
00:38:23.000 but a shield
00:38:23.600 of love
00:38:24.140 protected him.
00:38:25.320 He says
00:38:25.760 the drones
00:38:26.380 are the work
00:38:26.960 of far-right
00:38:27.840 extremists
00:38:28.740 and dissidents
00:38:29.500 living in
00:38:30.340 Colombia
00:38:30.740 and in
00:38:31.400 Florida.
00:38:32.500 He
00:38:32.580 specifically
00:38:33.340 blamed
00:38:33.880 Colombian
00:38:34.400 president
00:38:34.940 Juan
00:38:35.380 Manuel
00:38:35.780 Santos,
00:38:36.900 but Santos
00:38:37.780 said it's
00:38:38.940 already the
00:38:39.600 custom of
00:38:40.180 Venezuelan
00:38:40.720 leaders to
00:38:41.300 permanently
00:38:41.960 blame
00:38:42.460 Colombia
00:38:42.860 for any
00:38:43.240 type of
00:38:43.560 situation.
00:38:44.900 Now,
00:38:45.060 a group
00:38:45.480 of dissident
00:38:46.080 soldiers that
00:38:47.000 call themselves
00:38:47.660 soldiers in
00:38:48.480 t-shirts
00:38:49.080 claimed
00:38:49.920 responsibility
00:38:50.600 for the
00:38:51.140 attack on
00:38:51.600 Twitter,
00:38:51.960 saying that
00:38:52.440 army snipers
00:38:53.460 shot their
00:38:55.000 drones loaded
00:38:55.900 with C4
00:38:56.680 before they
00:38:57.180 could reach
00:38:57.580 the president's
00:38:58.320 platform.
00:38:59.880 Now,
00:38:59.980 some of the
00:39:00.560 residents that
00:39:01.480 were near the
00:39:02.740 speech say
00:39:03.460 the explosion
00:39:04.120 was just a
00:39:04.880 gas explosion
00:39:05.620 at an
00:39:06.220 apartment
00:39:06.520 building.
00:39:08.120 So we
00:39:08.840 don't know.
00:39:09.820 Critics of
00:39:10.600 Venezuela aren't
00:39:11.400 buying the
00:39:12.320 version from
00:39:13.220 Maduro that
00:39:14.060 it was flying
00:39:15.500 drones,
00:39:16.580 but we
00:39:17.120 don't know.
00:39:18.640 Critics say
00:39:19.480 it's just a
00:39:20.140 convenient excuse
00:39:21.180 to round up
00:39:21.840 army deserters
00:39:22.740 and a way to
00:39:23.260 distract the
00:39:23.780 public from
00:39:24.360 the country's
00:39:24.940 struggle with
00:39:25.680 severe food
00:39:26.300 and medicine
00:39:26.800 shortages.
00:39:28.080 A Venezuelan
00:39:29.020 expert at
00:39:30.240 the Washington
00:39:30.820 office on
00:39:31.400 Latin America
00:39:31.980 told the
00:39:32.360 Washington Post
00:39:33.140 that it's hard
00:39:34.060 to imagine
00:39:34.560 Maduro's
00:39:35.060 government doesn't
00:39:35.880 have footage of
00:39:36.780 the drones if
00:39:38.120 that is exactly
00:39:38.860 what happened.
00:39:39.520 He said if
00:39:40.320 the government
00:39:40.960 or someone else
00:39:41.720 doesn't put out
00:39:42.280 some footage of
00:39:42.840 these drones
00:39:43.460 or the
00:39:44.140 explosions,
00:39:44.720 it should be
00:39:45.480 considered highly
00:39:46.700 suspect.
00:39:48.020 Venezuelan
00:39:48.780 government says
00:39:49.560 it is already
00:39:50.240 arrested six
00:39:51.120 terrorists
00:39:51.800 connected with
00:39:52.700 the blast.
00:39:53.980 There are no
00:39:54.920 further details
00:39:55.740 on anything
00:39:56.240 because it's
00:39:57.100 a socialist
00:40:00.220 dictatorship.
00:40:07.400 It's Monday,
00:40:08.560 August 6th.
00:40:09.740 You're listening
00:40:10.460 to the Glenn Beck
00:40:11.240 program.
00:40:12.980 I'm with you.
00:40:13.880 I'm skeptical
00:40:14.420 as to whether
00:40:15.180 it was an actual
00:40:16.020 attempt.
00:40:17.080 I mean,
00:40:17.260 there's also
00:40:17.740 reporting that
00:40:18.460 there was a gas
00:40:19.040 explosion nearby
00:40:20.160 and blah,
00:40:20.980 blah,
00:40:21.100 blah.
00:40:21.620 But the drone
00:40:23.860 attack thing is
00:40:25.240 a pretty scary
00:40:26.360 possibility and
00:40:28.520 seemingly could be
00:40:29.580 done so easily
00:40:30.880 by someone who
00:40:31.700 wanted to take
00:40:32.780 terrible action
00:40:33.680 against any
00:40:34.340 leader in any
00:40:35.100 part of the
00:40:36.220 world.
00:40:37.140 I mean,
00:40:37.360 I guess from
00:40:38.760 what I understand
00:40:39.280 ISIS did this
00:40:40.200 a decent amount.
00:40:41.680 They used them
00:40:42.660 frequently in war
00:40:45.520 where they would
00:40:46.100 just fly.
00:40:46.780 Again,
00:40:47.340 like we all
00:40:47.680 know that
00:40:48.060 the military
00:40:48.880 has drones,
00:40:49.600 but these are
00:40:49.920 commercial drones
00:40:51.020 you could buy
00:40:51.660 online easily
00:40:53.100 for a few
00:40:55.200 hundred dollars
00:40:55.960 and have them
00:40:57.360 go over a
00:40:57.960 target and drop
00:40:58.640 something.
00:41:00.880 We're about to
00:41:01.660 have a different
00:41:02.140 world.
00:41:03.160 Because you can
00:41:03.420 see,
00:41:03.700 I mean,
00:41:03.840 they're being
00:41:04.120 used for so
00:41:04.580 many good
00:41:04.860 things.
00:41:05.260 I mean,
00:41:05.360 if you see
00:41:05.760 online,
00:41:06.280 you can see
00:41:06.640 the videos
00:41:07.140 of firefighting
00:41:09.760 with them
00:41:10.620 where they'll
00:41:11.060 float up to
00:41:11.620 the 20th floor
00:41:12.660 and be able to
00:41:13.680 put fire
00:41:15.740 extinguisher
00:41:16.480 pressure on
00:41:18.760 a fire that
00:41:19.880 is almost
00:41:20.520 impossible to
00:41:21.400 get to unless
00:41:22.660 you put people
00:41:23.420 in real danger.
00:41:24.240 Why didn't
00:41:24.520 they tell The
00:41:25.060 Rock about
00:41:25.540 that?
00:41:26.140 That movie
00:41:26.580 wouldn't have
00:41:26.940 been so
00:41:27.460 harrowing.
00:41:28.540 It would have
00:41:28.720 been a lot
00:41:30.000 less shorter.
00:41:31.620 Skyscraper?
00:41:32.320 Yeah,
00:41:32.800 just sort of
00:41:33.400 put a drone
00:41:35.040 up and had
00:41:35.740 it go up
00:41:36.100 95 floors
00:41:36.980 and just put
00:41:37.480 that damn
00:41:37.900 thing out.
00:41:39.380 You never
00:41:40.000 had to jump.
00:41:41.080 That was an
00:41:41.580 amazing jump.
00:41:42.560 Did you see
00:41:43.900 it?
00:41:44.080 Yes,
00:41:44.180 I did.
00:41:44.520 Yeah.
00:41:44.780 didn't think
00:41:46.300 he would
00:41:46.580 didn't think
00:41:48.080 he would
00:41:48.300 make that
00:41:48.820 close call.
00:41:49.640 Yeah,
00:41:50.020 close,
00:41:50.400 very close
00:41:51.040 call,
00:41:51.480 very close
00:41:52.400 call.
00:41:52.800 So anyway,
00:41:53.900 out in
00:41:54.960 Portland,
00:41:56.500 you know,
00:41:57.940 I would
00:41:58.220 really like
00:41:58.840 to could
00:41:59.320 we open
00:41:59.620 the phones
00:41:59.980 for anybody
00:42:00.620 who is
00:42:01.000 listening to
00:42:01.460 us in
00:42:01.780 Oregon or
00:42:02.720 or the
00:42:03.800 surrounding
00:42:04.240 areas,
00:42:04.720 anybody who
00:42:05.180 is in
00:42:05.560 Vancouver,
00:42:06.520 Washington or
00:42:07.080 any and
00:42:07.480 anyone in
00:42:08.300 in southern
00:42:10.020 Washington
00:42:10.520 state.
00:42:12.520 What the
00:42:13.140 hell is
00:42:13.880 happening?
00:42:15.620 Now,
00:42:16.300 I personally
00:42:17.000 think this
00:42:17.900 is my
00:42:18.640 grandfather's
00:42:19.520 prediction of
00:42:21.160 the people
00:42:21.580 who are just
00:42:22.240 too damn
00:42:23.440 weird for
00:42:24.160 California are
00:42:25.000 moving up
00:42:25.580 here.
00:42:26.060 And that's
00:42:26.300 what he said
00:42:26.660 when we
00:42:26.940 lived in
00:42:27.280 Washington
00:42:27.560 state.
00:42:28.840 And I
00:42:29.800 think that's
00:42:30.920 true.
00:42:32.220 The ones
00:42:32.740 who were
00:42:33.120 not the
00:42:34.480 ones who
00:42:34.880 were turned
00:42:35.440 off by the
00:42:36.620 commercialism
00:42:37.500 of Hollywood
00:42:39.380 and southern
00:42:40.340 California and
00:42:41.720 thought that was
00:42:42.240 all a sell
00:42:42.820 out, the
00:42:43.920 ones who
00:42:44.260 really, really
00:42:45.400 believed in
00:42:46.220 something, they
00:42:47.560 moved up into
00:42:48.300 the woods.
00:42:49.580 You know, they
00:42:49.900 came up into
00:42:50.800 into the
00:42:51.440 Pacific Northwest.
00:42:53.340 And so
00:42:54.120 that's a
00:42:54.560 real die
00:42:56.740 hard
00:42:57.520 socialist,
00:42:59.300 almost
00:42:59.780 communist
00:43:00.540 compound up
00:43:02.700 there in
00:43:03.020 areas.
00:43:03.440 and they're
00:43:04.560 serious and
00:43:05.800 they are
00:43:07.260 smack dab
00:43:09.640 next to
00:43:10.660 people who
00:43:12.320 when I was
00:43:13.420 growing up
00:43:13.920 always wore
00:43:14.340 flannel shirts.
00:43:15.820 These are the
00:43:16.700 people that,
00:43:17.600 you know,
00:43:18.980 Eddie Bauer
00:43:19.780 is Ralph
00:43:21.420 Loren.
00:43:22.460 Okay.
00:43:22.980 And it's
00:43:23.740 they're the
00:43:24.260 farmers,
00:43:25.020 they're the
00:43:25.420 loggers,
00:43:26.380 they're the
00:43:26.780 Boeing workers,
00:43:27.820 and they're
00:43:29.440 just hard
00:43:29.980 working,
00:43:30.600 normal people.
00:43:31.920 and they're
00:43:33.580 not into
00:43:34.200 communism.
00:43:35.360 And you're
00:43:36.920 you've got
00:43:37.640 these two
00:43:38.180 forces.
00:43:38.680 And at
00:43:39.540 some point
00:43:40.260 the people
00:43:42.840 who, you
00:43:43.560 know,
00:43:43.780 wear Eddie
00:43:44.300 Bauer are
00:43:44.880 not going
00:43:45.760 to take
00:43:46.560 it.
00:43:47.640 Because
00:43:48.280 they're
00:43:48.500 seeing things
00:43:49.880 destroyed.
00:43:50.540 And put
00:43:50.820 yourself into
00:43:51.460 Portland.
00:43:52.900 Say you're
00:43:53.400 living in
00:43:55.000 Portland.
00:43:56.720 Say even,
00:43:57.480 you know,
00:43:57.720 you don't like
00:43:58.120 Donald Trump.
00:43:59.280 Okay.
00:43:59.860 But you're
00:44:00.340 not a
00:44:00.700 radical.
00:44:01.920 I just
00:44:02.160 want to
00:44:02.360 read this
00:44:02.680 story.
00:44:03.900 Along the
00:44:04.600 trolley tracks
00:44:05.240 behind the
00:44:05.620 U.S.
00:44:05.900 Immigration and
00:44:06.500 Customs
00:44:06.900 Enforcement
00:44:07.220 Field Office,
00:44:08.540 a biohazard
00:44:09.660 cleanup crew
00:44:10.680 works under
00:44:11.680 police protection.
00:44:13.500 It finds
00:44:13.900 used needles
00:44:14.720 and buckets
00:44:15.320 of human
00:44:15.900 waste simmering
00:44:17.180 in a
00:44:17.540 nearly 100
00:44:18.240 degree heat.
00:44:20.320 The smell
00:44:20.700 of urine
00:44:21.200 and feces
00:44:21.900 fills the
00:44:22.680 block.
00:44:23.740 For more
00:44:24.100 than five
00:44:24.860 weeks,
00:44:26.020 as many
00:44:26.420 as 200
00:44:26.980 people had
00:44:27.660 occupied
00:44:28.240 the site
00:44:29.500 to demand
00:44:30.040 ICE's
00:44:30.560 immediate
00:44:31.180 abolition.
00:44:32.980 They're
00:44:33.240 gone now,
00:44:34.400 but the
00:44:35.420 community
00:44:35.860 is left
00:44:36.400 reeling.
00:44:37.520 38 days
00:44:38.600 of government
00:44:39.460 sanction
00:44:40.020 anarchy
00:44:40.780 will do
00:44:41.600 this.
00:44:42.360 Now,
00:44:42.520 this is
00:44:42.780 from the
00:44:43.380 Wall Street
00:44:44.160 Journal.
00:44:45.660 A mob
00:44:46.160 surrounded ICE's
00:44:47.060 office in
00:44:47.580 southwest Portland
00:44:48.320 June 19th.
00:44:49.740 They barricaded
00:44:50.400 the exits
00:44:51.020 and blocked
00:44:51.780 the driveway.
00:44:53.100 They sent
00:44:53.480 quote,
00:44:54.120 guards,
00:44:54.980 end quote,
00:44:55.560 to patrol the
00:44:56.320 doors,
00:44:56.920 trapping the
00:44:57.520 workers inside.
00:44:58.460 At night,
00:44:59.800 they laid
00:45:00.200 on the
00:45:00.520 street,
00:45:00.980 stopping
00:45:01.220 all traffic
00:45:01.920 at critical
00:45:02.480 junctions
00:45:03.000 near a
00:45:03.480 hospital.
00:45:04.680 Police
00:45:05.120 stayed
00:45:05.740 away.
00:45:06.700 Quote,
00:45:07.240 at this
00:45:07.620 time,
00:45:07.980 I'm denying
00:45:08.560 your request
00:45:09.180 for additional
00:45:09.800 resources.
00:45:10.960 The Portland
00:45:11.480 Police Bureau
00:45:12.440 deputy chief,
00:45:13.560 Robert Day,
00:45:14.320 wrote to
00:45:14.760 federal officers
00:45:15.580 pleading for
00:45:16.160 help.
00:45:16.880 Hours
00:45:17.300 later,
00:45:18.300 the remaining
00:45:18.840 ICE workers
00:45:19.520 were finally
00:45:20.020 evacuated by
00:45:20.900 a small
00:45:21.600 federal police
00:45:22.580 team.
00:45:23.380 The facility
00:45:23.960 was shut
00:45:24.400 down for
00:45:24.800 more than
00:45:25.100 a week.
00:45:25.720 Now,
00:45:25.860 do you
00:45:25.980 understand that
00:45:26.500 so far?
00:45:27.640 They've
00:45:28.160 occupied.
00:45:28.960 They're
00:45:29.200 blocking the
00:45:29.840 streets.
00:45:31.360 They've
00:45:31.900 blocked these
00:45:32.440 people in.
00:45:33.280 They called
00:45:33.840 for help.
00:45:34.400 Get us
00:45:34.760 out.
00:45:35.700 Police
00:45:35.960 said,
00:45:36.380 sorry,
00:45:36.760 can't help
00:45:37.240 you.
00:45:37.820 So they
00:45:38.180 had to
00:45:38.560 call for
00:45:39.240 federal
00:45:40.320 officers to
00:45:41.460 come in.
00:45:42.960 Signs called
00:45:43.560 employees Nazis
00:45:44.720 and white
00:45:45.280 supremacists.
00:45:46.460 Others accused
00:45:47.120 them of running
00:45:47.720 a concentration
00:45:48.500 camp and
00:45:49.220 demanded open
00:45:50.040 borders and
00:45:50.860 prosecution of
00:45:51.740 ICE agents.
00:45:53.120 Along a
00:45:53.600 wall,
00:45:54.060 vandals wrote
00:45:54.660 the names of
00:45:55.680 ICE staff
00:45:56.440 encouraging
00:45:56.900 others to
00:45:57.560 publish their
00:45:58.100 private information
00:45:59.120 online.
00:46:00.560 Federal workers
00:46:01.220 were defenseless.
00:46:02.560 As an ICE
00:46:03.140 officer who
00:46:03.840 asked his
00:46:04.340 name not be
00:46:05.000 published told
00:46:05.760 me,
00:46:06.320 one of his
00:46:06.820 colleagues was
00:46:07.480 trailed in
00:46:08.280 the car and
00:46:09.020 confronted when
00:46:09.740 he went to
00:46:10.120 pick up his
00:46:10.580 daughter from
00:46:11.240 summer camp.
00:46:12.620 Later,
00:46:13.080 people showed
00:46:13.640 up at his
00:46:14.040 house.
00:46:15.140 Another had
00:46:15.900 his name and
00:46:16.760 photo plastered
00:46:17.760 on flyers
00:46:18.420 outside of his
00:46:19.320 home,
00:46:19.800 accusing him of
00:46:21.580 being part of
00:46:22.220 the Gestapo.
00:46:24.360 So where were
00:46:24.940 the police?
00:46:26.440 Ordered away
00:46:27.640 by Democratic
00:46:28.580 Mayor Ted
00:46:29.320 Wheeler,
00:46:30.320 who doubles
00:46:31.000 as the
00:46:31.680 police commissioner.
00:46:33.100 Quote,
00:46:34.020 I do not
00:46:34.780 want the
00:46:35.220 Portland police
00:46:35.980 to be engaged
00:46:36.760 or sucked
00:46:37.300 into a
00:46:37.800 conflict,
00:46:38.420 particularly
00:46:38.880 from a
00:46:39.480 federal agency
00:46:40.320 that I
00:46:40.700 believe is
00:46:41.140 on the
00:46:41.380 wrong track,
00:46:42.080 he tweeted.
00:46:42.980 If ICE is
00:46:43.800 looking for a
00:46:44.480 bailout from
00:46:45.200 this mayor,
00:46:46.320 they're looking
00:46:46.900 in the wrong
00:46:47.460 place.
00:46:48.220 End quote.
00:46:48.660 The mob
00:46:50.860 set up camp
00:46:51.780 behind the
00:46:52.480 building where
00:46:53.260 they harassed
00:46:54.260 journalists and
00:46:55.280 banned
00:46:55.980 photography.
00:46:57.480 The open
00:46:58.360 border advocates
00:46:59.300 also erected an
00:47:00.380 eight-foot wall
00:47:01.480 around their
00:47:02.000 site.
00:47:02.640 Now that's
00:47:03.100 funny.
00:47:04.060 Isn't that
00:47:04.500 funny?
00:47:05.720 Here are people
00:47:06.240 who apparently
00:47:08.040 are doing the
00:47:08.640 right thing in
00:47:09.580 their mind,
00:47:10.000 but you ban
00:47:10.580 all photography,
00:47:12.040 and then to
00:47:13.080 protest the
00:47:13.960 wall, you
00:47:14.620 build a wall.
00:47:15.840 The reporter
00:47:18.100 says, I walked
00:47:18.740 through and I
00:47:19.280 saw young
00:47:19.720 children, even
00:47:20.520 infants, in
00:47:21.400 squalid conditions
00:47:22.620 and 90-degree
00:47:23.480 heat.
00:47:24.460 Every American
00:47:25.280 flag was
00:47:26.020 defaced, but
00:47:27.220 the anarchists
00:47:28.100 and communist
00:47:29.200 flags were
00:47:30.120 unsoiled.
00:47:31.840 Stuart Lindquist,
00:47:32.780 the ICE
00:47:33.120 facility's 79-year-old
00:47:35.460 landlord, needed
00:47:36.980 to visit his
00:47:37.720 property on
00:47:38.460 June 21st.
00:47:39.980 Quote, the
00:47:40.520 political powers
00:47:41.240 of the city of
00:47:41.800 Portland have
00:47:42.340 stopped the
00:47:42.820 police from
00:47:43.240 doing what they
00:47:43.820 normally would
00:47:44.460 do, he told
00:47:45.280 me.
00:47:45.840 When attempted
00:47:46.640 to drive into
00:47:47.760 his own
00:47:48.200 parking lot,
00:47:49.000 occupiers swarmed
00:47:50.020 and pounded
00:47:50.760 his window.
00:47:52.020 In the
00:47:52.280 commotion, Mr.
00:47:53.140 Lindquist's car
00:47:53.860 struck someone
00:47:54.540 in the mob
00:47:55.160 who wasn't
00:47:55.780 injured.
00:47:56.660 His home
00:47:57.040 address, however,
00:47:57.880 later appeared
00:47:58.620 online, and
00:47:59.540 he says the
00:48:00.380 harassment has
00:48:01.160 not ended.
00:48:02.520 On June
00:48:03.240 28th, federal
00:48:04.200 police mobilized
00:48:07.480 from an
00:48:08.700 out-of-state
00:48:09.700 facility, and
00:48:11.740 they finally
00:48:12.360 moved in to
00:48:13.400 reopen the
00:48:14.140 office.
00:48:14.520 They arrested
00:48:15.600 a handful
00:48:16.180 of people
00:48:16.620 for refusing
00:48:17.220 to leave
00:48:17.880 the ICE
00:48:18.320 offices store
00:48:19.760 front, but
00:48:20.820 the rest
00:48:22.340 retreated to
00:48:23.040 the camp and
00:48:23.780 focused their
00:48:24.580 vitriol on
00:48:25.420 the officers.
00:48:26.660 They repeatedly
00:48:27.620 called black
00:48:28.540 officers traitors
00:48:29.760 and house
00:48:30.620 N-words.
00:48:31.600 They shouted
00:48:32.340 that they knew
00:48:34.240 where the
00:48:34.580 officers lived,
00:48:35.560 and they
00:48:36.060 published their
00:48:37.200 addresses online.
00:48:38.520 The Hakes
00:48:40.360 family, who
00:48:41.700 owns the
00:48:42.280 Happy Camper
00:48:43.120 food cart
00:48:44.040 across the
00:48:44.640 street from
00:48:45.100 the ICE
00:48:45.480 office, responded
00:48:46.720 to a statement
00:48:47.420 with incredulity.
00:48:49.440 The mob,
00:48:50.340 quote, terrorized
00:48:51.640 our family,
00:48:52.620 end quote, and
00:48:53.340 forced the
00:48:53.860 family business
00:48:54.580 to close.
00:48:56.400 Mrs. Hakes
00:48:57.240 showed me a
00:48:57.960 text message
00:48:58.480 from her 21-year-old
00:48:59.680 daughter,
00:49:00.400 Brianna, who
00:49:02.080 ran the cart.
00:49:03.480 I just saw a
00:49:04.200 drug deal,
00:49:05.020 Brianna reported.
00:49:06.720 After members
00:49:07.660 of the anti-ICE
00:49:08.640 mob spotted
00:49:09.820 her selling
00:49:10.380 breakfast burritos
00:49:11.300 to federal
00:49:11.840 officers, the
00:49:12.600 situation quickly
00:49:13.520 deteriorated.
00:49:14.960 Call me
00:49:15.440 immediately,
00:49:16.260 Brianna wrote.
00:49:17.840 I'm being
00:49:18.680 accused of
00:49:19.400 supporting the
00:49:20.260 pigs and
00:49:21.020 child deportation.
00:49:23.480 She said the
00:49:23.980 people that were
00:49:24.520 wearing masks
00:49:25.440 threatened to
00:49:26.100 hurt her and
00:49:26.780 burn their
00:49:27.320 cart down, and
00:49:28.440 the police never
00:49:29.860 responded to her
00:49:31.260 frantic phone
00:49:32.040 calls.
00:49:33.480 Randy Glary, a
00:49:34.720 52-year-old
00:49:35.420 artist, long-time
00:49:36.200 resident, was
00:49:36.920 photographing the
00:49:37.780 camp when he
00:49:38.380 said a group of
00:49:38.980 occupiers knocked
00:49:39.980 his camera in his
00:49:40.880 face.
00:49:41.760 Charles Williams,
00:49:42.560 62-year-old man
00:49:43.600 who lives across
00:49:44.260 the streets, said
00:49:44.960 someone threatened
00:49:45.680 to stab him with
00:49:46.540 an AIDS-infected
00:49:47.580 needle.
00:49:48.540 From his
00:49:48.980 balcony, he
00:49:49.640 said, I saw
00:49:50.460 thugs begin
00:49:51.800 masked street
00:49:52.920 patrols,
00:49:54.080 brandishing
00:49:54.500 sticks.
00:49:55.700 Lisa Leonard,
00:49:56.480 53-year-old
00:49:57.260 disabled resident,
00:49:58.780 said occupiers hit
00:49:59.760 her on the
00:50:00.340 head,
00:50:01.340 disabled her
00:50:02.080 electric wheelchair
00:50:03.100 and lifted her
00:50:04.460 in the air when
00:50:05.360 she complained
00:50:06.040 about the loud
00:50:06.800 drumming.
00:50:07.880 She called the
00:50:08.680 police.
00:50:09.860 They would only
00:50:10.420 take her
00:50:10.940 statement.
00:50:12.760 Locals wondered
00:50:13.920 why the city is
00:50:15.060 allowed this.
00:50:18.260 According to
00:50:19.260 Peter Simpson,
00:50:20.540 public information
00:50:21.240 officer with the
00:50:22.220 Portland police,
00:50:23.800 it is at the
00:50:24.760 mayor's direction.
00:50:26.140 PBB is involved
00:50:29.820 in a very
00:50:30.620 limited action.
00:50:32.600 Back at the
00:50:33.060 trolley tracks,
00:50:33.860 the occupiers
00:50:34.420 have been
00:50:36.080 evicted,
00:50:36.840 but now
00:50:37.360 taxpayers are
00:50:38.180 going to have
00:50:38.440 to foot the
00:50:38.920 costly cleanup
00:50:39.740 bill.
00:50:40.640 The Hakes
00:50:41.020 family still
00:50:41.860 trying to
00:50:42.320 recover.
00:50:43.200 Brianna has
00:50:43.820 decided to
00:50:44.700 move.
00:50:45.720 They know my
00:50:46.360 face and car,
00:50:47.620 she said.
00:50:48.740 Like the other
00:50:49.360 residents,
00:50:50.680 she expects the
00:50:51.560 mobs to
00:50:52.040 return.
00:50:52.420 That's
00:50:54.200 incredible.
00:50:54.800 I mean,
00:50:54.980 we've heard
00:50:55.980 very little
00:50:57.140 about that
00:50:58.240 story as it's
00:50:59.280 developed.
00:50:59.720 It's really
00:50:59.900 interesting,
00:51:00.400 isn't it?
00:51:00.780 It is.
00:51:01.420 As you were
00:51:02.140 talking about
00:51:02.580 it,
00:51:02.700 it sort of
00:51:04.100 tipped off a
00:51:05.420 reminder of the
00:51:06.380 Pizzagate thing
00:51:07.480 that happened
00:51:08.180 in D.C.
00:51:10.620 where one of
00:51:11.740 the Pizzagate
00:51:12.420 believers went
00:51:13.840 into comet
00:51:15.200 ping pong or
00:51:16.140 whatever it was
00:51:16.760 with a gun.
00:51:18.060 It's something
00:51:18.800 they continually
00:51:20.040 refer to as a
00:51:21.680 major incident.
00:51:22.700 Now,
00:51:22.920 of course,
00:51:23.520 it was not
00:51:24.000 good.
00:51:24.400 The guy went
00:51:24.760 in there,
00:51:25.140 thought there
00:51:25.480 were tunnels
00:51:27.220 for sex slaves
00:51:28.720 with a gun,
00:51:30.100 could have been
00:51:30.420 bad,
00:51:30.900 realized that
00:51:31.740 the conspiracy
00:51:33.300 theory was
00:51:33.720 untrue,
00:51:34.900 and then gave
00:51:35.860 up to police
00:51:37.000 and it was
00:51:37.360 over.
00:51:39.120 That's not the
00:51:39.800 story here at
00:51:40.300 all.
00:51:40.720 They came in
00:51:41.480 and they took
00:51:42.020 over a
00:51:42.860 facility.
00:51:43.880 They kidnapped,
00:51:45.320 I would argue,
00:51:46.320 kidnapped workers.
00:51:47.840 If you're not
00:51:48.180 letting people
00:51:48.700 leave,
00:51:49.400 absolutely.
00:51:50.800 Hello,
00:51:51.300 that's the
00:51:51.940 Iranian hostage
00:51:52.700 situation.
00:51:53.660 1979,
00:51:54.580 you close off
00:51:55.320 the embassy
00:51:56.820 and no one's
00:51:57.420 leaving.
00:51:57.660 Can you imagine
00:51:58.100 if a Trump
00:51:59.400 friendly mayor
00:52:00.400 happened to be
00:52:01.440 the mayor of
00:52:02.060 where Comet
00:52:02.940 Ping Pong was
00:52:03.620 and they said,
00:52:04.080 you know what,
00:52:04.840 we're not going
00:52:05.380 to go assist
00:52:05.960 the people at
00:52:06.560 the pizza
00:52:06.860 restaurant.
00:52:08.020 We're just
00:52:08.300 going to let
00:52:08.560 that guy stay
00:52:09.800 there with a
00:52:10.500 gun and
00:52:11.840 continue to
00:52:13.280 hold hostage
00:52:14.360 all the workers.
00:52:15.580 Can you imagine?
00:52:16.280 And by the
00:52:16.960 way,
00:52:17.740 if you think,
00:52:18.660 if you're
00:52:18.840 worried about
00:52:19.240 this election,
00:52:19.940 your best hope
00:52:21.200 is that the
00:52:22.500 people who are
00:52:23.320 saying end
00:52:24.180 ICE are being
00:52:25.380 embraced by the
00:52:26.780 Democrats.
00:52:27.580 This isn't,
00:52:28.880 I'm sure,
00:52:29.380 the behavior
00:52:29.800 they may shun,
00:52:30.800 although,
00:52:31.260 again,
00:52:31.540 the mayor is
00:52:32.100 saying the
00:52:32.500 opposite.
00:52:33.200 He's not even
00:52:33.720 inviting the
00:52:34.280 police there.
00:52:34.980 But they're
00:52:35.720 advocating for
00:52:36.780 this.
00:52:37.080 This is
00:52:37.360 Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
00:52:39.540 in action.
00:52:40.220 Do you know
00:52:40.920 why?
00:52:41.800 Because there's
00:52:43.160 another story.
00:52:45.460 Some of their
00:52:46.460 defense is coming
00:52:47.340 from the chapter
00:52:48.040 of the Council
00:52:49.080 on American
00:52:49.740 Islamic Relations
00:52:50.740 and the Portland
00:52:51.940 chapter of the
00:52:52.680 Democratic Socialists
00:52:53.780 of America.
00:52:55.240 Back in just a
00:52:56.480 second.
00:52:57.900 Halfway through
00:52:58.760 2018,
00:53:00.980 a tally
00:53:01.480 revealed
00:53:02.220 continued
00:53:02.880 cyber
00:53:03.420 insecurity
00:53:04.480 from Russian
00:53:05.680 hackers
00:53:06.200 infiltrating
00:53:06.960 U.S.
00:53:07.360 power companies
00:53:08.160 and attacking
00:53:09.380 home routers
00:53:10.260 worldwide.
00:53:11.360 To data
00:53:12.800 exposures
00:53:13.440 like the
00:53:13.960 one that
00:53:14.220 left
00:53:14.540 340 million
00:53:16.440 records exposed
00:53:17.260 on a public
00:53:17.780 server.
00:53:18.760 Clearly,
00:53:19.820 corporate security
00:53:20.540 isn't getting
00:53:21.540 better fast
00:53:22.360 enough and
00:53:23.160 neither are
00:53:23.760 we.
00:53:24.620 Your personal
00:53:25.460 information from
00:53:26.240 a data breach,
00:53:27.160 criminals can
00:53:27.600 open up an
00:53:28.060 account,
00:53:28.480 they can file
00:53:29.420 tax returns,
00:53:30.140 they can buy
00:53:30.460 property.
00:53:31.180 This just
00:53:31.920 happened to
00:53:32.460 us.
00:53:33.200 Somebody got
00:53:33.720 my wife's
00:53:34.280 information,
00:53:35.460 opened up
00:53:36.620 three credit
00:53:37.540 cards that
00:53:39.500 we know of
00:53:40.340 and it
00:53:42.460 was,
00:53:42.940 what was
00:53:43.620 it,
00:53:43.800 like last
00:53:44.440 Thursday or
00:53:44.920 week ago
00:53:45.340 Thursday,
00:53:46.500 she gets a
00:53:47.020 phone call and
00:53:48.100 it's from
00:53:48.460 LifeLock and
00:53:48.980 they said,
00:53:49.280 are you opening
00:53:49.680 up these
00:53:50.040 things?
00:53:50.280 She said,
00:53:50.720 nope,
00:53:51.340 that's not
00:53:51.860 me.
00:53:52.660 They said,
00:53:53.100 okay,
00:53:53.420 we're on
00:53:53.860 it.
00:53:54.480 About four
00:53:55.080 days later,
00:53:55.720 we started
00:53:56.300 getting mail,
00:53:57.080 hey,
00:53:57.440 thank you so
00:53:58.020 much for,
00:53:59.080 you know,
00:53:59.540 opening up
00:54:00.200 the account
00:54:01.800 with us,
00:54:02.460 yada,
00:54:02.660 yada.
00:54:02.980 It had already
00:54:03.500 been taken
00:54:03.980 care of by
00:54:04.760 LifeLock.
00:54:06.040 That's what
00:54:06.960 you need.
00:54:07.960 You don't
00:54:08.820 have,
00:54:09.460 I don't even,
00:54:10.220 I don't even
00:54:10.620 know where I
00:54:11.100 would have
00:54:11.360 started had I
00:54:12.700 had to clear
00:54:13.160 that up
00:54:13.460 myself.

00:54:26.840 but they've,
00:54:27.420 they have
00:54:27.720 saved us
00:54:28.520 several times.

00:54:56.380 Is that an
00:54:57.200 incredible story
00:54:58.020 from Portland?
00:54:58.900 It's hard to
00:54:59.700 imagine that it's
00:55:00.480 actually happening.
00:55:01.460 And where's the
00:55:02.140 coverage?
00:55:02.720 Yeah.
00:55:03.360 I mean,
00:55:03.540 I've seen the
00:55:04.260 headlines.
00:55:04.960 I mean,
00:55:05.180 look at what
00:55:05.720 they're saying
00:55:06.320 now about
00:55:06.960 Donald Trump.
00:55:07.800 They're saying
00:55:08.420 Donald Trump
00:55:08.920 is going to
00:55:09.320 start a war.
00:55:10.080 He's going to
00:55:10.360 start a war.
00:55:10.840 People are
00:55:11.120 going to be
00:55:11.340 hurt.
00:55:12.300 Look at what's
00:55:13.220 happening in
00:55:14.100 Portland.
00:55:15.460 Where's the
00:55:16.040 reporting?
00:55:16.920 Well,
00:55:17.160 look at the
00:55:17.900 Bundy situation
00:55:19.260 out West and
00:55:20.560 how much
00:55:20.900 coverage that
00:55:21.620 got where
00:55:22.660 they were.
00:55:23.980 I mean,
00:55:24.520 that was a
00:55:24.880 totally,
00:55:25.440 you know,
00:55:25.760 I mean,
00:55:25.980 it's a totally
00:55:26.380 different situation.
00:55:27.760 No,
00:55:28.120 it really wasn't.
00:55:29.140 It was,
00:55:29.600 it was a
00:55:30.280 group of,
00:55:31.060 a group of
00:55:31.900 people.
00:55:32.620 Some of
00:55:33.300 them had
00:55:33.960 ill intent.
00:55:35.360 They were
00:55:36.080 going to
00:55:36.720 kill the,
00:55:37.820 you know,
00:55:38.600 kill the
00:55:39.240 federal agents
00:55:40.540 if they had
00:55:41.240 to,
00:55:41.540 but they
00:55:41.800 didn't want
00:55:42.400 to.
00:55:43.120 They just
00:55:43.540 wanted a
00:55:43.980 change.
00:55:44.540 They took
00:55:45.320 control of
00:55:46.200 a state
00:55:47.120 owned facility
00:55:48.460 and just
00:55:49.800 took it.
00:55:51.080 From my
00:55:51.500 understanding,
00:55:52.000 though,
00:55:52.080 they never
00:55:52.460 kidnapped
00:55:53.100 anybody,
00:55:53.620 did they?
00:55:53.820 No,
00:55:53.840 they never
00:55:54.160 kidnapped.
00:55:54.620 This is
00:55:54.880 worse.
00:55:55.220 Oh,
00:55:55.340 if you're
00:55:55.580 saying,
00:55:55.980 I'm
00:55:56.040 saying it's
00:55:56.380 worse.
00:55:57.160 In
00:55:57.260 Portland,
00:55:57.700 you're
00:55:57.920 taking an
00:55:58.340 active,
00:55:58.860 this is a
00:55:59.380 giant,
00:55:59.740 basically a
00:56:00.220 giant park
00:56:00.800 with the
00:56:01.100 Bundy
00:56:01.320 situation,
00:56:01.920 right?
00:56:02.040 I mean,
00:56:02.280 like,
00:56:02.480 so,
00:56:02.800 yeah,
00:56:03.040 it's a
00:56:03.400 lot different
00:56:03.800 than taking
00:56:04.180 a working
00:56:05.380 facility with
00:56:06.060 employees inside
00:56:07.020 and not
00:56:07.360 letting them
00:56:07.780 leave.
00:56:08.100 Yes,
00:56:08.380 that's a
00:56:08.740 completely
00:56:09.180 different
00:56:09.560 story to
00:56:10.140 me.
00:56:11.560 I mean,
00:56:12.220 you know,
00:56:13.320 but how much
00:56:14.380 bigger was the
00:56:14.920 Bundy story?
00:56:15.680 Again,
00:56:16.140 the other part
00:56:16.640 about this is
00:56:17.040 it's happening
00:56:17.520 in a urban
00:56:18.660 area.
00:56:20.160 This is like,
00:56:20.760 you know,
00:56:21.080 the Bundy
00:56:21.420 area.
00:56:21.760 It was like
00:56:21.900 the middle
00:56:22.240 of nowhere.
00:56:22.980 There's no
00:56:23.260 people really
00:56:24.000 around.
00:56:24.820 This is
00:56:25.220 Portland,
00:56:26.240 Oregon.
00:56:26.980 How is this?
00:56:27.600 And the
00:56:28.080 mayor is
00:56:28.540 siding with
00:56:29.300 the,
00:56:30.340 with the,
00:56:31.020 in this case,
00:56:31.880 would be the
00:56:32.200 Bundys,
00:56:32.620 right?
00:56:32.800 Do you remember
00:56:33.780 what the Russians
00:56:34.200 said around
00:56:34.680 in the 1990s?
00:56:36.520 That we would
00:56:36.980 break apart
00:56:37.600 into several
00:56:38.120 states and
00:56:39.020 the first to
00:56:39.720 go would
00:56:40.520 be
00:56:40.920 Portlandia.
00:56:43.280 Cascadia
00:56:43.680 is what they
00:56:44.320 called it.
00:56:45.280 Mercury.
00:56:46.960 Not too long
00:56:47.640 ago,
00:56:47.840 my computer
00:56:48.360 didn't work.
00:56:49.420 I was having
00:56:49.860 issues with it.
00:56:50.440 And I made
00:56:51.180 the terrible
00:56:51.700 mistake of
00:56:52.220 trying to get
00:56:52.760 customer service
00:56:53.440 on the computer.
00:56:54.840 And,
00:56:55.480 you know,
00:56:55.720 you call up
00:56:56.340 and you get
00:56:56.840 somebody and
00:56:57.320 about three
00:56:57.920 seconds into
00:56:58.500 the call,
00:56:58.960 you realize
00:56:59.500 you have
00:56:59.900 the wrong
00:57:00.420 person.
00:57:01.300 You have
00:57:01.660 the person
00:57:02.020 who doesn't
00:57:02.500 really understand
00:57:03.280 what they're
00:57:03.580 doing.
00:57:04.020 They're reading
00:57:04.500 off the script.
00:57:05.380 They can barely
00:57:06.180 speak your
00:57:06.780 language.
00:57:07.680 It's kind
00:57:08.460 of a problem.
00:57:09.640 And that's
00:57:10.220 the way it
00:57:10.500 goes.
00:57:10.800 You call a
00:57:11.200 number and
00:57:11.760 you get the
00:57:12.060 first person
00:57:12.500 to pick
00:57:12.800 it up.
00:57:13.840 That's not
00:57:14.360 the way
00:57:14.620 real estate
00:57:15.120 agents have
00:57:16.020 to be.
00:57:16.620 If you want
00:57:17.440 to pick a
00:57:17.920 real estate
00:57:18.220 agent,
00:57:20.440 person who
00:57:20.880 you see
00:57:21.180 on the
00:57:21.580 bench
00:57:22.120 everywhere
00:57:22.500 or that
00:57:23.340 you know
00:57:23.720 from the
00:57:24.320 gym,
00:57:24.920 you can
00:57:25.240 pick somebody
00:57:25.780 who's gone
00:57:26.440 through a
00:57:26.840 lengthy screening
00:57:27.540 process.
00:57:28.540 And the
00:57:28.840 best way to
00:57:29.360 do this is
00:57:29.820 go to
00:57:30.120 realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:57:32.660 realestateagentsitrust.com
00:57:33.420 has 1,200 agents.
00:57:34.680 They have the
00:57:35.240 best people
00:57:35.700 in your town.
00:57:36.620 These are
00:57:36.800 people who
00:57:37.100 share your
00:57:37.540 values.
00:57:37.980 They listen
00:57:38.320 to the
00:57:38.600 blaze.
00:57:39.320 These are
00:57:39.580 people who
00:57:40.240 you can
00:57:40.500 trust.
00:57:41.900 realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:57:43.000 Go there if you
00:57:43.500 want to sell
00:57:43.780 your house fast
00:57:44.380 and for the
00:57:44.720 most money.
00:57:45.460 It's
00:57:45.580 realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:57:50.440 You know,
00:57:54.440 I've been
00:58:00.580 thinking a lot
00:58:01.060 about
00:58:01.540 my job
00:58:06.780 and how
00:58:08.980 to do
00:58:09.300 my job
00:58:09.880 and how
00:58:13.860 things
00:58:14.480 have
00:58:15.200 changed
00:58:16.700 and
00:58:19.420 and how
00:58:25.540 we're not
00:58:26.040 listening
00:58:26.600 to each
00:58:27.720 other
00:58:28.020 and we're
00:58:29.120 all starting
00:58:29.820 to
00:58:30.400 gather up
00:58:32.740 under this
00:58:33.960 banner of
00:58:34.740 outrage
00:58:35.320 because we
00:58:37.060 we're being
00:58:39.580 challenged
00:58:40.040 and it is
00:58:40.700 you know,
00:58:41.360 when your
00:58:41.540 back is
00:58:42.040 thrown up
00:58:42.540 against the
00:58:42.960 wall,
00:58:43.260 that's what
00:58:43.580 you do.
00:58:44.960 You get
00:58:45.900 into fight
00:58:46.520 or flight
00:58:47.040 and
00:58:48.300 too many
00:58:49.860 people in
00:58:50.220 America
00:58:50.540 are tired
00:58:51.060 of
00:58:51.240 flight
00:58:51.600 and all
00:58:56.840 of this
00:58:57.260 back and
00:58:59.280 forth of
00:58:59.740 fake news.
00:59:00.740 What does
00:59:01.340 fake news
00:59:01.900 even mean?
00:59:02.660 Stu,
00:59:02.840 what is
00:59:03.000 fake news
00:59:03.460 to you?
00:59:03.860 What does
00:59:04.040 it mean?
00:59:05.580 I mean,
00:59:05.980 at this
00:59:06.660 point,
00:59:06.900 it means
00:59:07.100 nothing.
00:59:08.540 Initially,
00:59:09.140 it was
00:59:09.400 meant to
00:59:09.800 design,
00:59:10.720 just to
00:59:11.200 describe
00:59:11.600 stories like
00:59:12.360 on Facebook
00:59:12.800 where people
00:59:13.380 were sharing
00:59:13.860 intentionally
00:59:14.500 false news,
00:59:15.340 not stuff
00:59:15.900 like,
00:59:16.800 hey,
00:59:16.920 Donald Trump
00:59:17.540 is bad
00:59:18.400 or not,
00:59:19.580 you know,
00:59:20.120 even things
00:59:20.700 like 9-11
00:59:21.420 conspiracy
00:59:21.980 theories.
00:59:22.640 It was
00:59:23.000 supposed to
00:59:23.420 describe
00:59:23.740 people who
00:59:24.260 were fraudulently
00:59:26.040 writing stories
00:59:27.480 from scratch
00:59:28.200 with no
00:59:28.720 basis that
00:59:29.880 would induce
00:59:30.760 clicks.
00:59:31.380 So what
00:59:31.540 does it
00:59:31.760 mean now?
00:59:33.400 I guess
00:59:33.820 now,
00:59:34.360 I mean,
00:59:34.980 it seems
00:59:35.320 to mean
00:59:36.000 news you
00:59:37.940 disagree with?
00:59:38.900 Yeah,
00:59:39.020 well,
00:59:39.160 for example,
00:59:39.780 Newseum,
00:59:40.740 which is like
00:59:41.020 a,
00:59:41.360 you know,
00:59:41.660 they pulled
00:59:42.360 a shirt
00:59:42.760 from their
00:59:43.120 website that
00:59:43.900 said like
00:59:44.440 something about
00:59:44.900 fake news
00:59:45.560 because the
00:59:46.380 left was
00:59:46.840 mad that
00:59:47.320 anyone would
00:59:47.740 even say
00:59:49.060 fake news
00:59:49.600 exists,
00:59:50.460 which of course
00:59:51.180 it was a
00:59:51.500 left,
00:59:52.000 I mean,
00:59:52.240 it was a
00:59:52.480 mainstream
00:59:52.720 media created
00:59:54.080 term to
00:59:55.180 describe stories
00:59:56.480 that were
00:59:57.140 completely false
00:59:58.080 and then it
00:59:59.100 got kind of
00:59:59.980 pushed into
01:00:01.120 the political
01:00:03.580 debate,
01:00:04.840 but I mean,
01:00:06.180 it's just been
01:00:07.240 captured now,
01:00:07.980 I think,
01:00:08.220 by Trump
01:00:09.020 largely to
01:00:11.060 describe mainstream
01:00:12.100 media giving
01:00:13.000 him bad
01:00:13.520 coverage.
01:00:13.980 I would
01:00:15.280 say is
01:00:15.580 the way
01:00:15.940 it's
01:00:16.080 utilized
01:00:16.360 most.
01:00:17.860 I don't
01:00:18.300 know if
01:00:18.640 that's
01:00:18.860 the way
01:00:19.560 anybody
01:00:19.860 interprets
01:00:20.440 it now.
01:00:21.600 I mean,
01:00:21.800 I think
01:00:22.040 it's just
01:00:22.500 it's news
01:00:26.200 against your
01:00:26.680 side.
01:00:28.080 Yeah,
01:00:28.380 it's news
01:00:28.980 against your
01:00:29.420 side.
01:00:30.240 I think
01:00:30.420 it's the
01:00:30.640 way that's
01:00:31.080 the way
01:00:31.280 it's most
01:00:31.760 utilized.
01:00:32.420 Yes.
01:00:34.800 So now
01:00:35.480 this comes
01:00:36.260 from where
01:00:37.080 does this
01:00:37.760 come from?
01:00:38.540 This
01:00:38.780 isn't
01:00:39.180 new.
01:00:41.640 This
01:00:42.120 comes from
01:00:42.600 the media
01:00:43.220 not
01:00:44.020 listening
01:00:44.840 to half
01:00:45.620 of the
01:00:45.880 country.
01:00:46.780 That's
01:00:47.360 where it
01:00:47.540 comes
01:00:47.700 from.
01:00:49.240 Not
01:00:49.840 being in
01:00:50.620 touch
01:00:51.020 with what
01:00:52.040 half of
01:00:52.880 the country
01:00:53.460 feels
01:00:54.300 and how
01:00:55.300 they think
01:00:55.920 and what
01:00:57.020 they're
01:00:57.260 worried
01:00:57.580 about.
01:00:57.940 It's
01:00:58.320 different
01:00:58.820 than it
01:00:59.440 is what
01:01:00.000 you're
01:01:00.220 worried
01:01:00.500 about in
01:01:00.940 California
01:01:01.640 or you're
01:01:02.480 worried
01:01:02.980 about in
01:01:03.660 New York
01:01:04.340 City or
01:01:05.140 even worried
01:01:05.720 about in
01:01:06.160 Chicago.
01:01:06.640 It's
01:01:07.280 different.
01:01:08.020 And
01:01:09.740 because they
01:01:10.300 don't have
01:01:10.840 any real
01:01:11.880 presence
01:01:13.160 there and
01:01:14.840 they don't
01:01:15.280 pull,
01:01:15.880 they pull
01:01:16.280 from the
01:01:16.660 same place.
01:01:17.460 All the
01:01:17.680 employees of
01:01:19.640 these big
01:01:20.060 news organizations,
01:01:21.100 they generally
01:01:21.900 all come
01:01:22.760 from the
01:01:23.340 same mill,
01:01:25.200 same university
01:01:26.120 system with
01:01:27.260 the same
01:01:27.920 progressive
01:01:28.600 professors.
01:01:30.560 I think
01:01:30.920 there's two,
01:01:31.760 two conservative
01:01:33.400 press
01:01:35.440 journalists,
01:01:37.900 you know,
01:01:38.320 professors in
01:01:39.020 universities.
01:01:39.480 I think
01:01:39.900 there's two.
01:01:40.980 A full
01:01:41.420 two?
01:01:41.920 I think
01:01:42.260 there's a
01:01:42.640 full two.
01:01:43.280 It may
01:01:43.500 not be a
01:01:44.060 full two.
01:01:44.500 I'm skeptical.
01:01:45.120 Sounds like
01:01:45.500 fake news to
01:01:46.140 me.
01:01:46.880 Right.
01:01:47.180 Okay.
01:01:47.760 So they're
01:01:48.880 coming,
01:01:49.180 they're being
01:01:49.460 churned out
01:01:50.020 and they're
01:01:50.460 coming to
01:01:51.920 groupthink.
01:01:54.600 And it's
01:01:55.300 not,
01:01:55.980 you know,
01:01:56.760 let's give
01:01:57.300 everybody the
01:01:57.900 benefit of the
01:01:58.920 doubt.
01:01:59.720 But here's
01:02:00.480 what's not
01:02:01.260 happening.
01:02:03.400 What's not
01:02:04.040 happening is
01:02:05.440 anybody in
01:02:06.860 the media
01:02:07.460 that is being
01:02:08.420 fair enough
01:02:09.400 to say,
01:02:10.000 wait,
01:02:10.700 if this was
01:02:12.740 said about
01:02:14.080 my side,
01:02:16.540 how would I
01:02:17.320 have covered
01:02:17.860 it?
01:02:20.980 The
01:02:21.660 journalist's
01:02:22.640 job,
01:02:23.540 and this is
01:02:24.020 where Woodrow
01:02:24.860 Wilson and
01:02:25.460 the Council
01:02:26.740 on Foreign
01:02:27.220 Relations
01:02:27.740 turned everything
01:02:28.780 upside down.
01:02:30.480 Journalists,
01:02:31.600 because of the
01:02:32.540 progressive era,
01:02:33.400 were taught
01:02:34.380 that they
01:02:35.020 need to
01:02:35.720 teach the
01:02:36.840 American
01:02:37.240 people what
01:02:38.380 the right
01:02:39.060 policies are.
01:02:40.820 That's why
01:02:41.080 when we played
01:02:41.680 this audio
01:02:42.260 from MSNBC
01:02:43.460 earlier today,
01:02:44.240 where they were
01:02:44.660 discussing,
01:02:45.280 you know,
01:02:45.800 what do we
01:02:46.100 call socialism?
01:02:47.060 Because socialism
01:02:47.820 has a bad
01:02:48.520 name, but
01:02:49.040 everybody wants
01:02:50.120 free stuff.
01:02:51.020 What do we
01:02:51.300 call it?
01:02:51.780 Well, we
01:02:52.020 call it
01:02:52.360 socialism.
01:02:53.360 That's what
01:02:53.840 we call it.
01:02:54.900 But they
01:02:55.760 believe that we
01:02:56.640 have to change
01:02:57.540 the language
01:02:58.120 because dumb
01:02:59.540 people just
01:03:00.280 don't know
01:03:00.980 what that
01:03:01.720 means.
01:03:02.260 Yes, we
01:03:03.040 do.
01:03:03.580 We know
01:03:03.860 exactly what
01:03:04.380 it means.
01:03:04.980 We just
01:03:05.560 don't agree
01:03:06.280 with you.
01:03:08.320 We don't
01:03:09.360 agree that
01:03:10.560 it is a
01:03:11.480 wonderful thing
01:03:12.680 that doesn't
01:03:13.300 tax us to
01:03:14.220 death and
01:03:15.080 control our
01:03:15.720 lives.
01:03:16.620 You do
01:03:17.380 think you
01:03:17.920 think it's
01:03:18.380 wonderful.
01:03:19.060 We don't.
01:03:21.480 But their
01:03:21.800 job is to
01:03:22.380 teach.
01:03:23.240 No, that's
01:03:23.800 not your
01:03:24.200 job.
01:03:24.620 your job
01:03:27.460 is to
01:03:27.780 expose.
01:03:29.140 Your job
01:03:30.020 is to
01:03:30.480 reflect
01:03:31.640 what is
01:03:32.560 truly
01:03:33.040 happening.
01:03:35.360 And I
01:03:36.060 would ask
01:03:36.400 journalists,
01:03:37.220 let's take
01:03:38.020 a look at
01:03:38.500 how you
01:03:39.120 covered the
01:03:39.740 Nazis.
01:03:41.500 Big story,
01:03:42.920 important
01:03:43.300 story.
01:03:44.260 One day,
01:03:45.400 what was
01:03:46.280 it?
01:03:47.100 It was
01:03:47.660 one day,
01:03:48.540 it was
01:03:49.380 violent,
01:03:50.480 it was
01:03:51.260 scary,
01:03:52.900 but no
01:03:53.320 hostages were
01:03:54.020 taken.
01:03:54.980 Let's
01:03:55.700 compare how
01:03:56.540 you
01:03:57.000 descended
01:03:58.420 on
01:03:59.920 Charlottesville
01:04:01.300 and you
01:04:02.100 had every
01:04:02.880 square inch
01:04:03.560 covered.
01:04:04.360 And I
01:04:05.240 can't find
01:04:05.920 any coverage
01:04:06.640 really on
01:04:07.260 what happened
01:04:07.940 in Portland
01:04:10.200 with ICE.
01:04:11.640 I can't.
01:04:12.400 Can you
01:04:13.700 show me,
01:04:14.080 can anybody
01:04:14.400 show me
01:04:15.140 where the
01:04:16.300 television
01:04:17.340 truck was
01:04:18.280 just outside?
01:04:20.640 Where they
01:04:21.500 had the
01:04:22.120 remote location
01:04:23.260 and they
01:04:23.560 were saying
01:04:23.860 inside,
01:04:24.480 they have
01:04:24.920 hostages?
01:04:26.160 Have you
01:04:26.860 seen that
01:04:27.800 footage?
01:04:28.160 Because I
01:04:28.420 haven't seen
01:04:28.860 that.
01:04:30.520 I remember
01:04:31.060 when Scott
01:04:31.580 Walker was,
01:04:32.440 I certainly
01:04:33.640 remember that.
01:04:34.760 Remember that
01:04:35.120 when Scott
01:04:35.500 Walker was
01:04:35.920 up there
01:04:36.340 in Wisconsin
01:04:38.800 and they
01:04:39.540 came and
01:04:39.960 they occupied
01:04:40.600 the state
01:04:41.380 house and
01:04:42.360 it was
01:04:42.600 covered,
01:04:43.360 but not in
01:04:44.700 a negative
01:04:45.100 way.
01:04:45.440 No,
01:04:45.640 it was covered
01:04:45.940 in a positive
01:04:46.540 way.
01:04:47.860 So look
01:04:48.560 at the
01:04:48.720 difference
01:04:48.980 between the
01:04:49.340 way they
01:04:49.560 covered the
01:04:49.960 Nazis and
01:04:51.040 Portland
01:04:52.000 Antifa.
01:04:53.340 Look at
01:04:53.920 the way
01:04:54.200 they called
01:04:55.520 the Tea
01:04:55.980 Party
01:04:56.240 anti-American,
01:04:57.540 anti-government,
01:04:58.600 but they never
01:04:59.320 said that about
01:05:00.080 Occupy Wall
01:05:00.740 Street and
01:05:01.340 they never
01:05:01.820 say that
01:05:02.260 about Antifa.
01:05:03.860 Here are
01:05:04.220 people that
01:05:04.760 are openly
01:05:05.560 saying the
01:05:06.580 destruction of
01:05:07.620 America,
01:05:08.860 the Western
01:05:09.580 way of life,
01:05:10.640 and capitalism,
01:05:11.760 and you
01:05:12.680 won't label
01:05:13.400 them anti-government?
01:05:17.080 They're
01:05:17.720 anarchists.
01:05:19.540 I know it's
01:05:20.200 redundant,
01:05:21.000 but I don't
01:05:21.440 think that's
01:05:21.980 the reason
01:05:22.480 why you're
01:05:23.260 not calling
01:05:24.120 them anti-government.
01:05:26.240 Look how
01:05:27.060 the Tea
01:05:27.460 Party,
01:05:28.100 they immediately,
01:05:28.940 the Koch
01:05:29.320 brothers,
01:05:29.980 Koch
01:05:30.220 brothers,
01:05:31.820 here's Antifa
01:05:32.820 being supported
01:05:34.320 by the
01:05:34.800 Democratic
01:05:35.340 Socialists
01:05:36.340 of America.
01:05:37.700 You are
01:05:38.160 currently
01:05:38.840 running
01:05:39.520 people in
01:05:40.800 the Democratic
01:05:41.420 Party that
01:05:42.540 are openly
01:05:43.300 endorsing the
01:05:44.720 Democratic
01:05:45.100 Socialists
01:05:45.660 of America.
01:05:46.200 They were
01:05:46.980 involved in
01:05:47.580 a hostage
01:05:48.200 situation,
01:05:49.020 and yet you
01:05:50.380 are telling
01:05:50.920 everyone that
01:05:52.080 they're not
01:05:52.680 radical.
01:05:53.920 They are
01:05:54.940 saying that
01:05:56.000 they want
01:05:56.880 an end
01:05:57.720 to capitalism,
01:05:59.100 but you
01:06:00.600 are telling
01:06:01.180 the American
01:06:01.620 people that's
01:06:02.280 not radical?
01:06:06.320 Look how
01:06:07.140 you cover
01:06:08.600 anybody that
01:06:09.380 goes to
01:06:09.860 speak at
01:06:10.960 a university
01:06:12.540 and they're
01:06:14.840 not allowed
01:06:15.220 to speak
01:06:15.780 because what?
01:06:16.640 They're
01:06:16.820 fascists,
01:06:17.520 but you
01:06:18.120 do not
01:06:18.760 cover the
01:06:19.860 anti-fascists
01:06:20.920 that are
01:06:21.240 breaking
01:06:21.660 windows and
01:06:22.680 throwing
01:06:23.080 Molotov
01:06:23.900 cocktails in
01:06:24.720 any judgmental
01:06:25.680 sort of way.
01:06:26.900 You talk
01:06:27.440 about Donald
01:06:29.120 Trump's
01:06:29.640 rhetoric.
01:06:30.980 Let's
01:06:31.200 compare
01:06:31.640 the rhetoric
01:06:33.120 of Donald
01:06:36.480 Trump to
01:06:36.960 Maxine
01:06:37.340 Waters.
01:06:38.000 Sounds
01:06:38.320 pretty much
01:06:38.740 the same.
01:06:40.340 Sounds
01:06:40.780 pretty much
01:06:41.160 the same.
01:06:42.120 How about
01:06:42.400 the coverage?
01:06:43.080 Was it
01:06:43.400 the same?
01:06:44.780 Oh, well,
01:06:45.100 he's the
01:06:45.440 president.
01:06:45.940 Oh, well,
01:06:46.300 she's Maxine
01:06:47.080 Waters.
01:06:50.500 You talk
01:06:51.080 about lies?
01:06:52.540 This
01:06:52.920 president
01:06:53.300 tells lies.
01:06:54.540 Really?
01:06:55.040 Did you
01:06:55.240 meet the
01:06:55.520 last one?
01:06:56.780 Did you
01:06:57.080 meet the
01:06:57.320 last one?
01:06:57.720 The
01:06:59.340 reason why
01:06:59.780 socialists
01:07:00.540 are saying
01:07:01.760 we've got
01:07:02.160 to do
01:07:02.400 something is
01:07:02.880 because we're
01:07:04.680 now suffering
01:07:05.320 from higher
01:07:06.140 insurance rates
01:07:07.200 and higher
01:07:08.020 health care
01:07:08.520 costs because
01:07:09.520 your socialist
01:07:10.760 system that
01:07:11.840 you helped
01:07:12.740 that president
01:07:13.500 pass by
01:07:14.700 allowing him
01:07:16.200 to lie to
01:07:17.220 the American
01:07:17.820 people,
01:07:18.840 we're now
01:07:20.820 suffering from
01:07:21.780 that and
01:07:22.300 you're coming
01:07:23.080 to us telling
01:07:24.240 us, hey, we
01:07:25.100 need more
01:07:25.660 socialism.
01:07:26.960 Why do we
01:07:27.380 listen to
01:07:27.940 you?
01:07:32.120 I'm just
01:07:32.780 looking for
01:07:33.400 a journalist
01:07:34.540 that respects
01:07:36.420 the American
01:07:36.940 people and
01:07:38.700 will tell you
01:07:39.440 the unpopular
01:07:40.500 things for
01:07:41.300 both sides.
01:07:41.920 We'll tell you
01:07:42.680 the things
01:07:43.120 that's going
01:07:43.420 to hurt
01:07:43.660 that person
01:07:44.180 because they're
01:07:46.260 going to shake
01:07:47.140 some of their
01:07:47.500 people that
01:07:47.940 listen to
01:07:48.340 them and
01:07:49.300 sometimes those
01:07:50.240 people are
01:07:50.740 going to
01:07:50.940 cheer, but
01:07:52.620 they tell you
01:07:53.580 what is
01:07:54.340 happening and
01:07:55.560 let the
01:07:56.120 people decide
01:07:57.340 that is
01:07:58.660 very rare
01:07:59.880 in America.
01:08:02.660 And until
01:08:03.600 we find a
01:08:04.360 bigger group
01:08:04.940 of those
01:08:05.420 people, we
01:08:06.400 are going to
01:08:06.780 continue to
01:08:07.580 have these
01:08:08.140 problems and
01:08:08.860 they're going
01:08:09.100 to continue
01:08:09.660 to get
01:08:10.180 worse.

01:08:32.780 house.

01:08:34.760 house, sell
01:08:35.540 your house.
01:08:36.340 now is the
01:08:37.100 time.

01:08:47.880 nice person.

01:08:49.060 the job
01:08:49.760 done.

01:09:07.480 They have
01:09:08.440 spent years
01:09:09.380 looking at
01:09:11.660 different houses
01:09:12.520 and advising
01:09:13.840 clients on
01:09:14.760 curb appeal,
01:09:15.880 landscaping,
01:09:16.700 trim,
01:09:17.120 paint,
01:09:17.520 windows,
01:09:18.060 because first
01:09:19.180 impressions are
01:09:20.020 really important.

01:09:22.040 staging,

01:09:24.760 home.
01:09:25.260 When you
01:09:25.860 list what's
01:09:27.020 currently
01:09:27.300 happening in
01:09:27.860 your market,
01:09:28.500 what will it
01:09:28.960 look like in
01:09:29.420 six months?
01:09:30.660 How are they
01:09:31.040 going to price
01:09:31.580 your house?
01:09:32.200 how do they
01:09:33.100 know that's

01:09:59.780 Let's go to
01:10:00.500 Dennis who lives
01:10:01.420 in Oregon.
01:10:01.780 Hello Dennis,
01:10:02.420 welcome to
01:10:02.700 the Glenn Beck
01:10:03.020 program.
01:10:03.900 Hey Glenn,
01:10:04.820 pleasure to
01:10:05.400 talk to you.
01:10:06.040 Thank you very
01:10:06.460 much.
01:10:06.960 I lived 25
01:10:07.720 years in the
01:10:08.440 Seattle area and
01:10:09.440 now I'm living
01:10:09.960 down here south
01:10:11.140 of Portland,
01:10:11.660 quite a way
01:10:12.060 south.
01:10:12.900 But over the
01:10:13.680 25 years we
01:10:14.660 have seen more
01:10:15.580 and more tolerance
01:10:16.540 to the Antifada
01:10:18.220 movement and
01:10:20.000 they're always in
01:10:20.860 by, you know,
01:10:21.780 these cities like
01:10:22.940 Seattle is almost
01:10:24.000 unlivable now.
01:10:25.600 Street people living
01:10:26.560 everywhere, you
01:10:27.320 know, you talk
01:10:27.800 about San
01:10:28.280 Francisco but
01:10:29.120 Seattle is right
01:10:30.520 behind them and
01:10:31.700 Portland is right
01:10:32.620 on the same
01:10:33.080 train and I
01:10:34.900 don't understand
01:10:35.820 why.
01:10:37.240 So, I mean,
01:10:38.800 the average
01:10:40.180 people in
01:10:41.680 Portland,
01:10:42.640 they're fine with
01:10:44.080 all of this?
01:10:45.480 Most of them are
01:10:46.200 very extremely
01:10:46.880 liberal and,
01:10:49.080 but there are,
01:10:49.960 you know,
01:10:51.000 the occasional
01:10:52.320 conservatives in
01:10:53.660 the area but
01:10:54.120 they're very rare.
01:10:54.780 Okay, so no
01:10:55.780 liberal has a
01:10:56.560 problem that you
01:10:57.820 know of, no
01:10:58.520 liberal has a
01:10:59.280 problem with
01:10:59.940 Antifa and what
01:11:00.980 they're doing.
01:11:01.860 I have not
01:11:02.500 talked to one who
01:11:03.540 says this is bad.
01:11:05.040 You know, they
01:11:05.520 all think it's for
01:11:06.260 the people.
01:11:06.940 It's for the
01:11:07.420 people.
01:11:09.040 Wow.
01:11:10.060 All right,
01:11:10.620 Dennis, thanks for
01:11:11.660 your phone call.
01:11:12.520 Let me go to
01:11:12.940 Jay in Ohio.
01:11:14.060 Hello, Jay.
01:11:15.860 Hey, Glenn.
01:11:16.840 Hey.
01:11:17.200 Hey, Glenn, how
01:11:17.780 are you?
01:11:18.180 Good.
01:11:19.460 Good.
01:11:19.840 Hey, we moved
01:11:20.440 away from the
01:11:21.340 Portland area about
01:11:22.240 six years ago.
01:11:23.220 A lot of things
01:11:24.360 added up to
01:11:25.240 cause us to
01:11:25.840 move, but one
01:11:26.540 of them was
01:11:28.000 this mob
01:11:28.660 mentality that
01:11:29.500 was starting to
01:11:30.060 take over with
01:11:31.020 Occupy Portland.
01:11:33.020 Saw all that
01:11:33.820 going on and
01:11:34.580 found that very
01:11:35.320 few people had
01:11:36.260 a problem with
01:11:36.920 that, where
01:11:37.620 mobs were
01:11:38.820 taking over the
01:11:39.560 city, making
01:11:40.860 it dangerous to
01:11:41.680 walk, destroying
01:11:42.580 property, turning
01:11:44.020 the city into a
01:11:44.800 garbage dump, and
01:11:45.540 we've had a
01:11:46.020 series of really
01:11:47.300 bad mayors out
01:11:49.020 there over the
01:11:49.560 last 20 years,
01:11:50.560 and this current
01:11:51.160 mayor, who looked
01:11:52.640 like he was
01:11:53.080 going to be the
01:11:53.660 savior, has
01:11:54.500 turned out to
01:11:55.040 be the absolute
01:11:55.800 worst.
01:11:56.820 I go back there
01:11:57.540 routinely for
01:11:58.260 business, and the
01:11:59.000 city is dirtier,
01:12:00.700 smellier, needles
01:12:02.340 everywhere, feces all
01:12:04.120 over the ground, tents
01:12:05.540 set up in places you
01:12:06.640 would never expect.
01:12:07.380 Can I just stop for a
01:12:08.640 second?
01:12:08.980 When did Americans
01:12:09.900 start crapping on
01:12:11.120 the streets?
01:12:11.860 When did that
01:12:12.400 happen?
01:12:12.840 I miss that turning
01:12:14.900 point in our history.
01:12:16.620 It's just vulgar.
01:12:17.820 It's absolutely
01:12:18.560 vulgar, and the
01:12:20.720 people are starting
01:12:22.740 to get sick of it.
01:12:23.620 Contrary to what
01:12:24.220 you heard from your
01:12:24.980 last caller, I'm out
01:12:25.900 there pretty regularly
01:12:26.760 for business, and
01:12:28.320 even my leftist
01:12:29.440 friends are getting
01:12:30.780 sick of mostly the
01:12:32.680 homeless problem.
01:12:34.060 You've got three
01:12:34.780 groups of homeless,
01:12:35.860 people who are down
01:12:36.660 and out, people who
01:12:38.060 are maybe vets or
01:12:39.340 have mental illness
01:12:40.440 problems, and then a
01:12:41.740 whole group of people
01:12:42.660 that are there as
01:12:43.740 lifestyle campers,
01:12:45.340 wanting to live on
01:12:46.240 the streets, smoke
01:12:46.980 dope, and harass
01:12:47.800 people.
01:12:48.260 And the city's
01:12:50.000 doing nothing about
01:12:50.820 that last group, and
01:12:52.440 people are starting to
01:12:53.260 get fed up with that.
01:12:54.600 And then the
01:12:55.240 Antifa stuff, they
01:12:57.080 always, people who
01:12:58.420 are somewhat against
01:13:00.300 it, always say that
01:13:01.340 those people are
01:13:02.020 provoked.
01:13:02.700 So, like the guys
01:13:03.860 that were there over
01:13:04.580 the weekend, I
01:13:05.700 forget.
01:13:05.920 How do you, wait,
01:13:06.720 wait, wait, wait,
01:13:07.400 wait, wait, wait.
01:13:08.420 But how do you say
01:13:09.460 that when they've
01:13:10.700 taken a building
01:13:12.200 full of hostages,
01:13:14.060 of federal agents,
01:13:15.240 and would not let
01:13:15.920 them leave?
01:13:16.500 Well, because those
01:13:18.400 federal agents, in
01:13:19.300 their minds, are
01:13:20.240 not together.
01:13:22.520 They really believe
01:13:23.180 that.
01:13:25.020 Do the average
01:13:26.040 people in Portland
01:13:27.860 believe that?
01:13:31.000 I'd say half and
01:13:32.060 half.
01:13:32.420 I'll tell you, the
01:13:32.940 biggest thing I'm
01:13:34.320 seeing is a rejection
01:13:35.340 of downtown.
01:13:36.340 Normal, average,
01:13:37.420 everyday people that
01:13:38.160 don't have to go down
01:13:39.020 there to work aren't
01:13:40.520 going downtown
01:13:41.140 anymore because they
01:13:42.720 feel like it's
01:13:43.340 dangerous.
01:13:43.900 It's been taken over
01:13:44.680 by mobs, dirty.
01:13:47.540 So, you know,
01:13:48.940 Macy's pulled out
01:13:49.820 their headquarters
01:13:50.560 store in downtown
01:13:51.620 Portland about a
01:13:53.280 year, year and a
01:13:54.120 half ago, and they
01:13:54.940 said it was because
01:13:55.560 of poor sales.
01:13:57.300 But I contend a lot
01:13:58.400 of it is because
01:13:58.980 people were afraid to
01:13:59.940 go down there and
01:14:00.900 try to make their way
01:14:01.780 into the door,
01:14:02.400 stepping over, people
01:14:03.860 sleeping in the
01:14:04.600 doorway and having
01:14:05.460 tents set up
01:14:06.280 outside.
01:14:07.400 Columbia Sportswear
01:14:08.300 has an ongoing
01:14:09.020 battle with the city
01:14:10.160 of Portland that is
01:14:11.460 starting to pull out
01:14:12.280 a lot of their
01:14:12.860 offices within the
01:14:13.860 city and move them
01:14:14.500 to the suburbs.
01:14:15.320 Thank you so much,
01:14:16.220 Jay.
01:14:16.440 I appreciate it.
01:14:18.580 Portland, what is
01:14:20.540 happening?
01:14:21.280 What is happening
01:14:22.140 to you?
01:14:23.720 Back in a minute.
01:14:27.580 Glenn Beck.
01:14:29.180 It's Monday, August
01:14:30.260 6th.
01:14:31.320 You're listening to
01:14:32.200 the Glenn Beck
01:14:32.700 Program.
01:14:33.480 So we have
01:14:34.380 we have the media
01:14:37.100 saying that they
01:14:38.720 they fear for their
01:14:39.960 lives now.
01:14:41.100 And I feel for them.
01:14:43.200 I know I've been
01:14:44.600 there for several
01:14:45.600 years.
01:14:49.580 And nobody should
01:14:50.440 feel that way.
01:14:51.080 Not in America.
01:14:53.420 We have a can we
01:14:54.920 play the audio of a
01:14:55.780 C-SPAN caller,
01:14:56.640 please?
01:14:57.880 They're talking about
01:14:58.800 Brian Stelter and
01:15:00.000 Don Lemon from
01:15:00.820 CNN.
01:15:02.500 And here's what a
01:15:03.460 caller says.
01:15:04.940 Don State College,
01:15:05.820 Pennsylvania supports
01:15:07.040 the criticism of the
01:15:08.460 media.
01:15:08.880 Don, you are on the
01:15:09.620 air.
01:15:09.800 Good morning.
01:15:12.200 It all started when
01:15:14.340 Trump got elected.
01:15:16.760 Brian Stelter and
01:15:18.320 Don Lemon from
01:15:20.180 CNN called
01:15:22.740 Trump supporters
01:15:24.640 all racist.
01:15:27.200 They don't even know
01:15:28.540 us.
01:15:29.320 They don't even know
01:15:30.120 these Americans out
01:15:31.240 here.
01:15:31.600 And they're calling us
01:15:32.400 racist because we
01:15:33.680 voted for Trump.
01:15:34.700 Come on, give me a
01:15:37.320 break.
01:15:37.740 They started the
01:15:38.620 war.
01:15:39.780 I see them.
01:15:40.620 I'm going to shoot
01:15:41.240 them.
01:15:41.640 Bye.
01:15:43.380 Okay, good.
01:15:44.560 So we have that.
01:15:47.080 We have in Portland,
01:15:49.960 Antifa, taking ICE,
01:15:52.580 a federal office,
01:15:54.080 taking hostages.
01:15:56.700 Nobody seems to even
01:15:58.560 care in the media
01:15:59.400 about that.
01:15:59.980 They're not really
01:16:00.860 covering that.
01:16:01.560 We have the media
01:16:03.920 complaining that they
01:16:05.340 are under attack, and
01:16:07.180 yet the right has been
01:16:09.140 under attack and called
01:16:10.200 all kinds of names for
01:16:11.840 a very, very long
01:16:13.400 time.
01:16:14.320 And I think we're
01:16:14.980 hitting a tipping
01:16:15.600 point.
01:16:17.520 Representative Jason
01:16:18.580 Lewis is with us.
01:16:19.440 He's a congressman from
01:16:20.800 Minnesota.
01:16:22.380 He has an op-ed about
01:16:24.940 the violent political
01:16:26.300 threats that are
01:16:27.300 beginning to spin out
01:16:29.100 of control.
01:16:30.400 Congressman, how are
01:16:31.380 you?
01:16:32.600 Glenn, good to be
01:16:33.380 back on the program.
01:16:34.320 Nice to speak with you.
01:16:35.260 Too bad it's not under
01:16:36.500 happier circumstances.
01:16:38.380 But I do think you're
01:16:39.180 right.
01:16:39.420 I think we're at an
01:16:39.960 inflection point here,
01:16:40.940 and we better get a
01:16:41.620 hold of it, and soon.
01:16:42.760 So tell me what you
01:16:44.220 know is happening, you
01:16:45.780 know, with congressmen.
01:16:47.740 Well, look, we all
01:16:49.400 know that the number of
01:16:50.580 threats reportable to the
01:16:52.440 Capitol Police have
01:16:53.240 skyrocketed.
01:16:54.260 It started long ago.
01:16:56.180 It's not just in the
01:16:56.940 last week or month.
01:16:58.300 It started literally at the
01:16:59.480 inauguration.
01:17:00.640 A year ago this month, I
01:17:02.240 had protesters on my
01:17:03.420 front lawn.
01:17:04.480 When we tried to do some
01:17:05.800 town halls a few weeks
01:17:07.340 back, we had threats.
01:17:09.460 We got another threat
01:17:10.600 recently.
01:17:12.240 Lee Zeldin, David
01:17:13.560 Kustoff, driven off the
01:17:15.000 road.
01:17:15.860 Rand Paul, attacked by a
01:17:17.420 neighbor, and now another
01:17:18.620 threat to his family.
01:17:20.240 And, of course, the tragic
01:17:21.860 shooting of our majority
01:17:23.180 whip, Steve Scalise.
01:17:24.140 So, look, I was in your
01:17:26.080 business for a number of
01:17:27.060 years.
01:17:27.900 You know what it's like
01:17:29.140 being in the spotlight and
01:17:30.460 the calls you get and the
01:17:32.240 crazies that come out
01:17:33.240 against you.
01:17:34.000 Nobody wishes that for
01:17:35.800 anyone in the press, as you
01:17:37.440 said.
01:17:38.160 But when I hear people say,
01:17:39.560 hey, we better tone it
01:17:40.420 down or the administration
01:17:41.300 better tone it down, someone
01:17:42.560 might get hurt.
01:17:43.680 Someone already has been
01:17:45.280 hurt over a year ago.
01:17:47.920 A shooting of the majority
01:17:50.320 whip.
01:17:52.080 And yet...
01:17:52.980 Not only that, I mean,
01:17:54.180 let's not minimize that.
01:17:55.400 That would have been, if
01:17:56.800 he would have been
01:17:57.300 successful, if that gate
01:17:59.160 wouldn't have been
01:18:00.160 locked, he might have
01:18:01.860 killed a third of
01:18:02.800 Congress.
01:18:04.000 And that was a political
01:18:05.140 assassination attempt.
01:18:06.380 Yes, it was.
01:18:07.140 That was based on
01:18:08.020 ideology.
01:18:08.960 We know that.
01:18:10.280 And that is quite
01:18:10.940 different than someone
01:18:11.880 going off the deep end,
01:18:13.220 as tragic as that might
01:18:14.380 be.
01:18:14.700 But all I'm saying is,
01:18:16.600 to your point, oh,
01:18:18.360 goodness, somebody might
01:18:19.420 get hurt if the
01:18:20.660 president says this or
01:18:21.600 that, and agreed, I
01:18:23.680 don't want any threats
01:18:24.820 on the First Amendment.
01:18:25.720 That's how you make your
01:18:26.620 living.
01:18:26.900 That's how I made my
01:18:27.680 living.
01:18:28.260 But someone already has
01:18:29.360 been hurt, and there
01:18:30.000 hasn't been enough
01:18:30.700 reportage on that.
01:18:32.920 So how do we change
01:18:36.940 this, or what has to
01:18:38.320 happen?
01:18:39.680 Well, you're left with
01:18:41.620 the inconvenient truth
01:18:42.980 that the reason there's
01:18:44.720 been a double standard
01:18:45.640 or a very heightened
01:18:47.480 concern over one
01:18:48.560 particular situation
01:18:49.520 and a lack of
01:18:50.780 reporting over the
01:18:51.500 other is, in fact,
01:18:52.640 ideology, is who's
01:18:54.360 doing the targeting
01:18:55.060 and who's being
01:18:55.880 targeted.
01:18:56.920 And that's tragic.
01:18:58.560 But look, if you
01:18:59.340 look at any tyrannical
01:19:00.320 regime, from Cuba to
01:19:01.860 Venezuela, from the
01:19:02.820 former Soviet Union
01:19:03.840 to Red China, the
01:19:05.100 first thing they do is
01:19:05.820 try to silence people.
01:19:07.480 That is the first
01:19:08.280 thing they try to do.
01:19:09.100 And I think it's
01:19:09.760 somewhat ironic, Glenn,
01:19:11.240 when you've got
01:19:11.960 legitimate concerns over
01:19:13.380 silencing the fourth
01:19:14.520 state, the media, oh,
01:19:16.100 we can't have that.
01:19:17.260 And yet, indeed, when
01:19:18.540 your office is crashed,
01:19:19.820 when people break
01:19:20.620 security protocol, they
01:19:22.140 crash your congressional
01:19:23.060 office, when resistance
01:19:24.720 or indivisible deliberately
01:19:26.580 try to disrupt and hold
01:19:28.100 the mic without giving it
01:19:29.160 back in town halls, when
01:19:30.740 they intimidate and they
01:19:32.640 threaten now, they are
01:19:34.160 trying to silence their
01:19:35.340 opponents.
01:19:36.120 They are trying to make
01:19:36.960 certain that some speech
01:19:38.460 should not ever be
01:19:40.040 uttered, which is an
01:19:41.240 assault on what you do,
01:19:43.480 assault on what I did,
01:19:44.420 and it's assault on the
01:19:45.580 American experiment called
01:19:46.820 the First Amendment.
01:19:48.000 And that is very, very
01:19:49.380 troubling.
01:19:51.300 So does the...
01:19:53.260 Should the president
01:19:56.320 tone his rhetoric down?
01:20:00.640 Look, would I do things
01:20:02.020 the way the president
01:20:02.700 does all the time?
01:20:03.840 No, I wouldn't.
01:20:05.120 But when he simply
01:20:06.740 highlights media bias,
01:20:08.280 I don't know what more
01:20:10.520 when you've got cable
01:20:12.300 news channels dedicated
01:20:13.440 to bringing down an
01:20:14.440 administration, I don't
01:20:15.480 know what more evidence
01:20:16.360 we need to see of media
01:20:18.380 bias.
01:20:19.600 So I think...
01:20:20.660 There's a difference
01:20:21.160 between media bias and
01:20:22.780 the press is the enemy
01:20:24.460 of the American people.
01:20:26.160 I think there is.
01:20:27.440 And look, as I said, I
01:20:28.920 want everyone to know
01:20:30.340 that the First Amendment
01:20:31.600 is sacrosanct, and no
01:20:33.100 one in the press should be
01:20:34.240 threatened.
01:20:35.060 No one in Congress should
01:20:36.200 be threatened either.
01:20:37.360 No supporters of a
01:20:38.940 particular political
01:20:40.140 candidate should be
01:20:41.100 threatened either.
01:20:41.840 And certainly, these
01:20:43.340 attacks, which have
01:20:44.300 escalated from the left,
01:20:46.280 whether it's Antifa,
01:20:47.720 whether it's Occupy
01:20:48.560 Wall Street, whether it's
01:20:50.140 the actual shooting of
01:20:51.100 the majority whip, whether
01:20:52.480 it's the myriad of...
01:20:53.680 Diane Black, you're not
01:20:54.920 going to find a more
01:20:55.760 sincere, more thoughtful,
01:20:58.000 deliberate person than
01:20:58.960 Representative Black.
01:20:59.880 She was the chairman,
01:21:01.120 chairwoman of the
01:21:01.700 Budget Committee in which
01:21:02.580 I serve.
01:21:03.460 She's now running in
01:21:04.540 Tennessee for statewide
01:21:06.420 office.
01:21:06.980 They had to arrest a
01:21:09.480 fellow, grand jury
01:21:10.500 indictment, who
01:21:11.740 threatened her and her
01:21:12.400 family.
01:21:13.580 And people say, well, it
01:21:15.260 cuts both ways, and to a
01:21:16.340 degree it does, but if
01:21:17.920 indeed you look at the
01:21:18.940 last year and a half, the
01:21:19.980 last 500 days, predominantly
01:21:22.220 it's coming from one side
01:21:23.780 of the ideological
01:21:24.480 spectrum that, quite
01:21:26.020 frankly, has become
01:21:26.840 unhinged.
01:21:28.000 And that's where the
01:21:29.300 danger lies.
01:21:30.240 A year ago, my neighbor
01:21:31.720 calls me, Glenn, and
01:21:32.920 says, hey, I just got a
01:21:34.560 call from my daughter.
01:21:35.360 They're a little bit
01:21:35.900 upset.
01:21:36.460 You've got a bunch of
01:21:37.100 people on your front
01:21:37.780 lawn screaming and
01:21:38.780 yelling, and they were
01:21:39.340 frightened.
01:21:39.960 So they called my
01:21:40.740 neighbor.
01:21:41.980 He called the police.
01:21:43.140 I had to come out back
01:21:44.000 to my house.
01:21:44.580 I'm cruising the
01:21:45.460 district.
01:21:46.060 I had to come out back
01:21:46.980 to my house and see
01:21:48.280 what was going on in my
01:21:49.420 front lawn, on my
01:21:50.840 porch.
01:21:52.640 They don't think the
01:21:53.820 rules apply to them
01:21:54.880 because their cause is
01:21:56.560 so righteous.
01:21:57.960 And I'll tell you
01:21:58.400 something else, and this
01:21:59.540 is where it really gets
01:22:00.400 troubling.
01:22:01.820 It's not enough to say,
01:22:03.140 I disagree with your
01:22:03.920 policy.
01:22:04.760 It's not enough to say,
01:22:05.520 look, we have policy
01:22:06.260 differences.
01:22:06.760 I think you're taking
01:22:07.360 the wrong approach.
01:22:08.620 They have to challenge
01:22:09.800 your goodness.
01:22:12.580 You're not just wrong,
01:22:13.700 you're bad.
01:22:14.780 You have malice in your
01:22:15.820 heart.
01:22:16.620 And therefore, if you're
01:22:17.460 bad and you have malice in
01:22:18.680 you're an evil person
01:22:19.500 because you don't agree
01:22:20.340 with me, why I can't be
01:22:22.180 responsible for what
01:22:23.080 others might do.
01:22:26.100 So, again, I come back
01:22:28.440 to Jason.
01:22:29.740 I think we all know this
01:22:31.300 to some degree.
01:22:32.980 Um, but I don't know if
01:22:36.080 anybody knows what to do,
01:22:38.040 uh, because, uh, you
01:22:41.040 know, we're kind of in
01:22:42.760 this place as an
01:22:43.500 alcoholic.
01:22:43.900 I understand this urge to
01:22:45.780 change the media, but as
01:22:47.900 an alcoholic, I also
01:22:48.820 understand there's nothing
01:22:49.840 I can do to change the
01:22:51.060 media.
01:22:51.540 I just can't let this
01:22:53.220 change me.
01:22:54.800 What should we be doing?
01:22:56.820 Is there a way to reach
01:22:58.600 the media?
01:22:59.300 I've tried.
01:23:00.280 I, I don't think they,
01:23:01.880 I mean, they're not
01:23:03.000 willing to listen.
01:23:04.480 No, no, they are not.
01:23:06.200 But, but the dirty little
01:23:07.740 secret is free speech
01:23:09.240 cuts both ways.
01:23:11.240 So the media have the
01:23:13.720 right.
01:23:14.080 If, you know, the Amazon
01:23:16.320 owner wants to use the
01:23:17.340 Washington Post to try to
01:23:18.480 bring down President
01:23:19.400 Trump, he's free to do
01:23:21.280 that.
01:23:21.600 It's a free country.
01:23:22.460 Yep.
01:23:22.700 We believe it.
01:23:23.580 But guess what?
01:23:24.980 The president has the
01:23:25.860 right to say, hey, the
01:23:26.900 Amazon owner is using the
01:23:27.860 Washington Post to bring
01:23:28.700 down my administration.
01:23:30.440 And this is where
01:23:31.620 everybody thinks, seems
01:23:33.360 to think that free speech
01:23:34.480 only applies to them.
01:23:37.740 And it applies to the
01:23:38.800 other side.
01:23:39.220 So when, when I hear the
01:23:40.460 hand-wringing about, well,
01:23:42.280 the administration is
01:23:43.240 actually fighting back
01:23:44.380 against media bias, I,
01:23:47.060 you know, I think to
01:23:47.880 myself, well, a, there
01:23:49.560 have been a lot of
01:23:50.080 Republicans over the last
01:23:51.160 few decades that have
01:23:52.000 been waiting for someone
01:23:52.980 to do that.
01:23:53.840 Oh yeah.
01:23:54.320 Maybe not, maybe not
01:23:55.900 precisely in these terms,
01:23:57.220 but waiting for somebody
01:23:58.480 to push back on a, a
01:23:59.980 palpable bias in the
01:24:01.380 press.
01:24:02.140 And two, he has the
01:24:03.980 right to say what he
01:24:05.200 says, just as you have
01:24:06.120 the right to say what
01:24:06.880 you say.
01:24:07.580 Yeah.
01:24:07.880 You know, he's, he's,
01:24:09.420 he's effective and that's
01:24:11.100 why people are supportive
01:24:12.200 because no one has been
01:24:14.060 effective against the
01:24:15.680 press.
01:24:16.060 No one has ever made
01:24:17.360 them squirm.
01:24:19.320 Nobody's ever held them
01:24:20.580 accountable and been
01:24:22.180 able to walk away from
01:24:23.520 that fight.
01:24:24.060 And he's, he's done
01:24:26.180 it.
01:24:26.820 And so I think there's
01:24:27.380 a lot of Americans
01:24:28.140 are just like, look,
01:24:29.320 man, I wouldn't have
01:24:29.920 done it that way, but
01:24:30.980 somebody's got to do
01:24:32.480 something.
01:24:33.800 That's where they
01:24:34.560 even, no, that's
01:24:35.940 right.
01:24:36.100 And they seem
01:24:36.660 insistent on validating
01:24:37.960 him.
01:24:38.680 So he tweets
01:24:41.040 something, then, you
01:24:42.080 know, when they go off
01:24:42.920 the deep end, he can
01:24:44.100 just turn around and
01:24:44.680 say, see, he told
01:24:45.280 you so.
01:24:46.820 And let's, let's be
01:24:48.220 honest here too.
01:24:49.000 If you are a
01:24:49.940 politician, there's a
01:24:51.960 difference between a
01:24:52.560 politician and a
01:24:53.260 pundit.
01:24:53.660 I have learned that
01:24:54.280 firsthand.
01:24:55.460 A politician is
01:24:57.940 supposed to be, shall
01:24:59.500 we say, have an
01:25:01.340 affinity towards an
01:25:02.220 ideology, a bias, if
01:25:03.740 you want.
01:25:04.800 The press is supposed
01:25:05.660 to be above that.
01:25:06.640 So a politician can
01:25:07.720 behave as a hack, as
01:25:10.020 a biased individual,
01:25:11.380 as a cheerleader for
01:25:13.180 his or her party.
01:25:14.800 The journalist is
01:25:15.460 supposed to say, yes,
01:25:16.320 I know they behave
01:25:17.260 that way, but we're
01:25:18.240 above that.
01:25:19.340 So if the president
01:25:20.540 or anybody else levels
01:25:21.620 a charge against
01:25:22.640 the press, they're
01:25:25.200 not supposed to take
01:25:25.880 the bait.
01:25:26.700 If you're a good
01:25:27.400 journalist, are you
01:25:28.200 concerned at all by,
01:25:31.680 I mean, let me use the
01:25:32.540 extreme.
01:25:33.240 We were talking today
01:25:34.020 about how Alex Jones
01:25:36.480 is being removed from,
01:25:38.640 he's not, he's still on
01:25:39.800 YouTube, isn't he?
01:25:40.760 Still on YouTube for the
01:25:41.720 moment.
01:25:42.080 Yeah.
01:25:42.700 Stitcher, Facebook,
01:25:44.520 YouTube, I mean,
01:25:45.280 sorry, iTunes, iTunes
01:25:46.540 and recent, just in
01:25:47.520 recent moments here,
01:25:48.720 Spotify as well.
01:25:49.560 OK, so I find him
01:25:52.680 despicable.
01:25:53.580 I find his opinions
01:25:54.740 despicable, unfounded
01:25:57.360 and grotesque.
01:26:00.060 However, I don't like
01:26:01.820 the idea of silencing
01:26:03.540 people.
01:26:04.120 It only makes things
01:26:05.300 worse.
01:26:07.620 How many?
01:26:08.260 No, of course it does.
01:26:09.380 And how many times or
01:26:11.460 how many years did
01:26:12.520 someone as old as you
01:26:13.520 and me, and I'm a
01:26:14.540 little older than you,
01:26:15.440 probably.
01:26:16.480 It seems as though I'm
01:26:18.100 a little older than
01:26:18.720 everyone.
01:26:21.080 But how many times
01:26:22.460 did we watch Alan
01:26:23.280 Dershowitz defend the
01:26:25.080 most odious rights to
01:26:26.780 free speech over our
01:26:27.700 lifetime?
01:26:28.180 Yep.
01:26:29.520 Hundreds of times.
01:26:30.660 Time and time again.
01:26:31.520 And where is that now?
01:26:32.960 I don't know.
01:26:33.580 It's Voltaire redux.
01:26:35.480 I mean, you know, I
01:26:36.240 will defend your right
01:26:37.500 to say it, even though
01:26:38.320 I disagree with it.
01:26:39.060 That seems to be a
01:26:39.760 lost art.
01:26:40.760 I mean, now we get
01:26:41.520 word that that Twitter's
01:26:43.800 movement towards
01:26:46.320 silencing bots is
01:26:47.840 actually shadow
01:26:48.760 banning a bunch of
01:26:49.460 conservatives.
01:26:50.240 Yes.
01:26:52.260 I'm sitting here.
01:26:53.260 I'm sitting here,
01:26:54.460 Congressman.
01:26:55.780 I have from my my own
01:26:57.840 collection of books,
01:26:59.140 the anarchist cookbook.
01:27:00.920 This is something that
01:27:02.160 tells you how to make
01:27:03.080 poison gas, how to make
01:27:04.380 TNT, how to kill
01:27:06.180 people, how to torture
01:27:07.260 people, how to, you
01:27:09.800 know, cause all kinds
01:27:10.880 of disruption.
01:27:11.620 It was printed in 1972.
01:27:12.900 It has gone over and
01:27:14.700 over and over again
01:27:15.660 through the courts.
01:27:16.480 You have a right to
01:27:17.780 print it.
01:27:18.540 The author even wanted
01:27:20.240 it to stop being
01:27:21.320 printed, but he didn't
01:27:22.720 own the rights to it
01:27:23.720 anymore.
01:27:24.280 So it it is still out
01:27:26.880 on the market.
01:27:27.860 That is freedom of
01:27:29.280 speech.
01:27:29.700 That is a country that
01:27:31.040 I'm proud to live in
01:27:32.440 that says I hate this
01:27:34.500 book and I hate the
01:27:35.780 fact that somebody put
01:27:36.560 it out.
01:27:37.040 But I so appreciate the
01:27:39.160 fact that something
01:27:39.760 this offensive can be
01:27:41.920 printed here.
01:27:43.220 We're not that country
01:27:44.720 soon.
01:27:46.200 No, you're right.
01:27:47.260 And that's what I said
01:27:48.300 in the op ed.
01:27:49.200 Those of us old enough
01:27:50.120 to remember the 60s
01:27:51.280 understand that we're
01:27:52.580 getting close, close to
01:27:54.300 that phenomenon.
01:27:55.400 But the difference is
01:27:56.460 there was the free
01:27:57.480 speech Berkeley crowd in
01:27:58.700 the 60s.
01:27:59.300 Yes.
01:27:59.900 The left has morphed
01:28:01.360 into a much more
01:28:02.680 tyrannical movement in
01:28:04.700 the 1960s when you had
01:28:06.320 the Democratic
01:28:06.780 Convention and you had
01:28:08.260 the Watts riots and
01:28:09.300 you had all of that.
01:28:10.500 People didn't like it,
01:28:11.520 but they said these
01:28:12.200 people, especially people
01:28:13.320 on the left, have the
01:28:14.440 right to free speech.
01:28:16.000 It was the free speech
01:28:16.760 movement coming out of
01:28:17.760 the Bay Area.
01:28:18.800 Now that is gone.
01:28:19.960 If you are not on the
01:28:20.880 right side of the
01:28:21.640 spectrum, you don't have
01:28:23.060 the right.
01:28:23.460 They are saying this,
01:28:24.820 Glenn.
01:28:25.140 I know.
01:28:25.420 I know.
01:28:25.600 So quickly, they're
01:28:26.280 saying, look, if you
01:28:27.260 hold these views, you
01:28:28.980 don't, having that view,
01:28:30.780 having that speech is
01:28:31.700 harm and we're not
01:28:32.500 going to let you say
01:28:33.220 it.
01:28:33.680 Talking to Congressman
01:28:34.480 Jason Lewis.
01:28:35.140 Jason, before we let
01:28:35.800 you go, you're running
01:28:37.760 for re-election.
01:28:38.660 How's that looking for
01:28:39.320 you?
01:28:40.600 You know, Minnesota
01:28:41.360 2 is sort of the
01:28:42.240 microcosm of the
01:28:43.080 country.
01:28:43.540 The president won my
01:28:44.820 district by one point.
01:28:46.700 I was the darn
01:28:47.220 popular.
01:28:47.800 I doubled his margin.
01:28:49.080 Wow.
01:28:49.900 Wow.
01:28:50.460 Congratulations.
01:28:51.460 1.7.
01:28:52.960 So as Minnesota 2 goes,
01:28:54.640 the country goes.
01:28:55.680 It's a majority
01:28:56.240 maker seat.
01:28:57.060 If we don't, I firmly
01:28:58.100 believe, fellas, that if
01:28:59.540 we don't keep Minnesota
01:29:00.620 2, we will lose the
01:29:02.680 House.
01:29:03.020 And if we lose the
01:29:03.600 House, we will go
01:29:05.160 backward in a way that
01:29:06.460 will be dramatic.
01:29:08.140 Yeah.
01:29:08.280 We're going, yes, big
01:29:09.860 time.
01:29:10.420 Big time, especially now
01:29:11.440 with the love of
01:29:12.180 Democratic Socialists
01:29:13.260 and the fervor to
01:29:17.040 impeach.
01:29:18.740 Where can people get
01:29:19.500 involved with your
01:29:20.400 campaign?
01:29:22.300 Thank you.
01:29:22.780 They can go to
01:29:23.380 Jason4MN.
01:29:25.080 That's Jason for
01:29:25.900 Minnesota abbreviation.
01:29:27.160 Just Jason4MN.com and
01:29:30.420 get involved.
01:29:31.400 And the DCCC has
01:29:33.000 targeted us as one of
01:29:34.100 the top, I believe,
01:29:34.980 top five or maybe
01:29:35.840 top two.
01:29:37.100 It's just a tough
01:29:37.780 race.
01:29:38.020 And naturally, for
01:29:38.900 those Democrats out
01:29:40.260 there that hate money
01:29:41.180 and politics, my
01:29:42.040 opponent is taking in
01:29:43.300 millions.
01:29:46.340 Congressman, thank
01:29:47.160 you so much.
01:29:48.420 Thank you, gang.
01:29:49.160 You bet.
01:29:53.380 It seems to be the
01:29:54.780 way it always is.
01:29:55.640 It does always go
01:29:56.780 that way.
01:29:57.600 We don't like big
01:29:58.120 money.
01:29:58.600 Let's get some big
01:29:59.240 money in here.
01:30:01.240 All right.
01:30:01.940 Palm Beach letter.
01:30:03.540 This is something that
01:30:05.080 you can get, you know,
01:30:07.100 in your email every
01:30:08.260 day and helps take you
01:30:11.960 through cryptocurrencies
01:30:13.600 and, you know,
01:30:15.420 general status of the
01:30:17.380 market and what is
01:30:18.060 happening in the world.
01:30:19.380 I'm a subscriber.
01:30:20.500 Palm Beach letter.
01:30:21.200 Tika Tiwari has a
01:30:22.560 crypto course that we
01:30:23.600 actually had him put
01:30:26.980 together because we
01:30:28.260 met with Tika, I don't
01:30:29.360 know, eight months ago
01:30:30.200 or so.
01:30:31.060 And we just asked him,
01:30:32.440 OK, can you explain how
01:30:33.660 all of this works?
01:30:34.420 Because we have a basic
01:30:35.940 handle, but a dangerous
01:30:37.540 handle on it.
01:30:39.200 You know, not enough of
01:30:40.760 the facts.
01:30:41.560 And so he took us through
01:30:42.780 it and it took him a
01:30:43.960 couple of hours and we're
01:30:44.740 like, you should do a
01:30:45.640 class on this.
01:30:46.340 So he has.
01:30:46.880 He did a smart
01:30:47.900 crypto course dot com.
01:30:49.240 Ninety seven percent of
01:30:50.700 the people who have
01:30:52.180 taken it, give it, I
01:30:53.420 think it's a five star
01:30:54.780 rating.
01:30:55.800 So it's really, really
01:30:57.380 good and it will teach
01:30:59.280 you a lot of the things
01:31:00.360 that you really need to
01:31:01.100 know if you want to
01:31:01.800 understand coming
01:31:03.060 technology, blockchain,
01:31:06.040 cryptocurrency, how this
01:31:07.480 plays.
01:31:08.080 This is the the starter
01:31:09.700 kit, if you will.
01:31:10.720 And you can take it now
01:31:11.600 smart crypto curse, smart
01:31:13.780 crypto course dot com.
01:31:15.100 That's smart crypto
01:31:16.200 course dot com.
01:31:17.720 Or you can call eight
01:31:18.620 seven seven PBL back
01:31:19.960 eight seven seven PBL back
01:31:21.360 for more information or
01:31:22.540 just take the class now at
01:31:23.580 smart crypto course dot com.
01:31:30.500 So yesterday I got on my
01:31:34.440 wife's.
01:31:35.280 What is it?
01:31:35.920 A Peloton bike?
01:31:36.840 Oh, no.
01:31:37.660 Oh, good God.
01:31:38.620 God.
01:31:39.620 First of all.
01:31:41.000 Oh, no.
01:31:41.640 Stop with the clips on the
01:31:42.880 shoes and everything else.
01:31:44.120 What a scam this whole
01:31:45.220 thing is.
01:31:45.640 That's just to make you
01:31:46.260 buy the shoes.
01:31:47.060 Just make you buy the
01:31:47.960 shoes.
01:31:48.300 That's it.
01:31:49.820 Yeah.
01:31:50.040 Well, I'm afraid my feet
01:31:51.280 are going to fly off now.
01:31:52.380 And my feet have never
01:31:53.120 flown off any bike in my
01:31:54.840 life.
01:31:55.560 I'm I'm I'm possible
01:31:56.860 you're not using it at the
01:31:58.040 highest level.
01:31:59.140 I'm going to I'm going to
01:31:59.620 throw that out there that
01:32:00.320 maybe.
01:32:01.000 Well, here's an idea.
01:32:01.860 Then make it so I could
01:32:03.340 use it at the lowest level
01:32:04.840 and the highest level.
01:32:06.520 So you don't have to have
01:32:08.520 the stupid clips.
01:32:10.500 What a ridiculous.
01:32:12.560 It's a scam.
01:32:13.600 The thing I love about
01:32:14.320 that bike, because we
01:32:15.200 have we have one as
01:32:16.300 well, is it's like two
01:32:18.040 thousand dollars for this
01:32:19.920 bike that you buy.
01:32:22.020 And, you know, my wife
01:32:23.480 had to have it.
01:32:24.760 And then what they do,
01:32:26.000 the reason why it's a
01:32:26.760 whatever it is, two
01:32:27.620 thousand dollar bike is
01:32:28.520 because it's got this
01:32:29.200 giant screen on it and
01:32:30.900 you can't watch TV on
01:32:32.180 you can't watch TV.
01:32:32.960 You got to watch their
01:32:33.660 classes.
01:32:34.300 I don't want to watch
01:32:34.940 their classes.
01:32:35.560 By the way, they charge
01:32:37.180 you thirty four ninety
01:32:38.440 five a month to access.
01:32:41.120 It's incredible.
01:32:42.160 Wait, I'm paying.
01:32:43.520 You're paying monthly
01:32:44.360 for that thing, too.
01:32:45.340 After you pay the
01:32:46.300 thousands of dollars, it
01:32:47.560 is a fantastic
01:32:48.560 business.
01:32:49.280 It's a scam.
01:32:50.680 I was riding that bike.
01:32:52.240 I was just getting more
01:32:52.900 and more pissed off at
01:32:53.860 it.
01:32:54.040 I'm I'm in capitalistic
01:32:55.740 awe of that company
01:32:57.120 because I mean, that is
01:32:59.160 not a value proposition
01:33:00.400 for anybody.
01:33:02.440 A membership to an
01:33:03.740 actual club with live
01:33:05.100 people nearby is like
01:33:06.720 what?
01:33:07.380 A hundred dollars a
01:33:08.220 month.
01:33:08.440 How long would it take
01:33:09.200 for that to pay off?
01:33:10.500 And by the way, can I
01:33:11.640 just ask a question?
01:33:12.600 I know this dates me,
01:33:14.160 but when the hell did
01:33:15.220 when did when when did
01:33:17.400 riding a bike become
01:33:18.860 spinning?
01:33:20.360 You I mean, as of four
01:33:22.680 minutes ago, I had no
01:33:23.780 idea.
01:33:24.620 That's what I'm going to
01:33:25.600 a spinning class.
01:33:26.440 I didn't know you
01:33:26.980 plates on a stick or
01:33:28.520 so.
01:33:28.740 I don't know what the
01:33:29.240 hell you're doing.
01:33:30.100 I don't care.
01:33:30.900 I'm never going to go
01:33:31.980 what a stunner.
01:33:33.040 You brought it to
01:33:33.600 things in the kitchen.
01:33:35.060 Right.
01:33:35.340 No, you're legitimately
01:33:38.080 that far away from gym
01:33:39.280 culture.
01:33:39.780 I am that far away.
01:33:41.140 This is not a new
01:33:41.700 development.
01:33:42.240 No, I know it's not a
01:33:43.100 new development, but it's
01:33:43.980 a stupid development.
01:33:45.780 Now that I know what
01:33:46.780 spinning class is, that's
01:33:48.200 stupid.
01:33:48.680 So you heard people say
01:33:49.720 spinning class.
01:33:50.320 I'm going to spinning
01:33:50.880 class.
01:33:51.260 No, you're not.
01:33:51.760 You're going to go ride
01:33:52.320 a bike.
01:33:53.500 You're going on an
01:33:54.160 exercise bike.
01:33:54.960 That's what you're
01:33:55.340 doing.
01:33:56.020 Spinning.
01:33:56.420 You cannot charge
01:33:57.740 two thousand dollars
01:33:58.460 and thirty four ninety
01:33:59.140 five a month for an
01:33:59.900 exercise bike.
01:34:00.620 You can for a
01:34:01.500 spinning class.
01:34:02.500 That's so stupid.
01:34:03.620 I hate exercise.
01:34:06.620 It's the bane of my
01:34:07.700 existence.
01:34:08.620 And believe me, I am
01:34:10.080 working hard to be a
01:34:11.020 good person so I can
01:34:12.300 get up to heaven and I
01:34:13.800 have a thing or two to
01:34:15.080 say to God when we
01:34:16.300 meet.
01:34:19.360 Most of it is about
01:34:20.460 food and exercise.
01:34:27.840 We have to get somebody
01:34:28.760 on from the NRA
01:34:29.440 tomorrow.
01:34:30.200 Find out if this story
01:34:30.980 is true.
01:34:31.320 Have you been reading
01:34:31.780 the story about the
01:34:32.820 NRA?
01:34:33.620 hemorrhaging cash
01:34:36.360 because of New York
01:34:38.380 and they they may have
01:34:39.600 to shut down their
01:34:40.240 headquarters?
01:34:41.880 I can't believe that.
01:34:42.820 It's hard to believe.
01:34:44.140 I don't believe it at
01:34:45.040 all.
01:34:46.060 I don't either.
01:34:46.900 I don't either.
01:34:47.520 It sounds sounds to me
01:34:48.520 like wishful thinking on
01:34:49.580 the on the left.
01:34:50.440 And the membership is
01:34:51.140 growing, right?
01:34:51.900 I mean, we've heard,
01:34:52.900 you know, nonstop reports
01:34:54.600 of the membership growing
01:34:55.520 over the years.
01:34:56.080 Well, they had to pay a
01:34:56.700 seven million dollar fine
01:34:57.640 and then they lost their
01:34:58.500 insurance, you know,
01:34:59.660 for, you know,
01:35:01.360 defending your Second
01:35:02.640 Amendment, a right.
01:35:03.380 If somebody comes in
01:35:03.940 your house and you have
01:35:04.720 to shoot and, you know,
01:35:06.120 they had the insurance
01:35:06.900 that would cover you
01:35:07.720 was a fine for for
01:35:10.580 selling an illegal NRA
01:35:12.720 branded member liability
01:35:14.740 insurance policy to cover
01:35:16.160 legal costs and sell
01:35:17.040 self-defense.
01:35:17.600 So, New York said you can't
01:35:18.900 sell those.
01:35:21.360 You can't sell those?
01:35:22.560 Really?
01:35:23.540 That seems, I don't know,
01:35:25.260 a little crazy.
01:35:27.460 Anyway, so we'll delve into
01:35:29.900 that tomorrow and see if we
01:35:31.120 can get some answers for you
01:35:32.420 on that.
01:35:33.120 That's troubling.
01:35:34.180 Speaking of crazy, have you
01:35:35.800 been following what's going
01:35:36.580 on in South Africa?
01:35:37.760 Yes.
01:35:38.360 This is somewhat troubling,
01:35:40.220 I would think.
01:35:42.020 You know, if you care about
01:35:43.220 justice at all, South Africa
01:35:46.320 is ruling African
01:35:48.660 National Congress has
01:35:49.780 targeted 139 farms now
01:35:52.060 that they're expropriating.
01:35:53.540 They're just taking them
01:35:54.480 away from white people
01:35:55.400 without compensation in the
01:35:57.560 next couple of weeks.
01:35:58.640 And they say it's in line
01:36:00.000 with Section 25 of the
01:36:02.020 country's constitution.
01:36:04.080 That's the one that Ruth
01:36:06.320 Bader Ginsburg thought was
01:36:07.420 such a great constitution
01:36:08.760 that she would look to.
01:36:09.780 Oh my gosh, that is.
01:36:10.540 Remember that?
01:36:10.960 That's right.
01:36:11.520 Yes.
01:36:11.780 It was all about rights.
01:36:13.340 Jeez, I forgot about that
01:36:14.700 clip.
01:36:14.880 All about human rights.
01:36:16.680 And so that's a great
01:36:18.240 constitution that she would
01:36:19.200 look to.
01:36:19.600 That's why it's not being
01:36:20.240 covered now.
01:36:21.420 Yeah.
01:36:21.820 Because it's all about human
01:36:22.600 rights.
01:36:23.220 It's all about the destruction.
01:36:24.720 I'm telling you guys, I'm
01:36:26.400 telling you, you have to learn
01:36:28.720 about postmodernism because
01:36:31.140 it explains everything.
01:36:33.280 Absolutely everything.
01:36:34.380 I meant to look it up this
01:36:35.280 week because you keep
01:36:35.860 mentioning it.
01:36:36.640 I don't know what the hell it
01:36:37.560 is.
01:36:38.120 And so, and I forgot, but I'm
01:36:40.440 going to do that this week.
01:36:41.220 You need to.
01:36:42.020 I mean, you know, maybe
01:36:43.560 come in sometime this week
01:36:44.960 and we can just talk about
01:36:46.680 it.
01:36:46.920 Yeah.
01:36:47.160 Because if you understand
01:36:49.420 that, you understand why
01:36:51.560 this is okay to people.
01:36:53.800 Why people who are on the
01:36:55.440 very far left, why they
01:36:58.400 believe this would be okay.
01:37:00.720 Because you would say, I
01:37:02.460 would say, hey, apartheid,
01:37:04.840 we covered that and we
01:37:06.880 should have covered that.
01:37:07.760 And it was really good when
01:37:09.400 we cover people of any
01:37:11.060 race being rounded up or
01:37:12.600 killed or, you know, being
01:37:14.600 squashed.
01:37:15.360 Right.
01:37:15.720 Right.
01:37:16.200 So it's just another race of
01:37:18.260 people doing it to another
01:37:19.500 race of people.
01:37:20.280 I don't care what race it is.
01:37:21.500 It's bad.
01:37:21.980 It's wrong.
01:37:23.000 Nope.
01:37:23.640 Not in this case because of
01:37:25.700 postmodernism.
01:37:26.660 Well, it's so bad there.
01:37:27.920 I mean, they've already
01:37:28.700 they've already attacked
01:37:30.340 white farmers a lot and
01:37:33.380 have maimed them and have
01:37:34.940 killed them and have taken
01:37:36.140 farms and they've got
01:37:37.220 another to death in the
01:37:38.180 burn them to death and
01:37:39.180 the barns are in their
01:37:39.980 houses.
01:37:40.480 Horrific stories.
01:37:41.220 If you want to read about
01:37:42.400 it, I don't know why you
01:37:43.180 would, unless you just want
01:37:44.260 to know what's going on in
01:37:45.000 the world.
01:37:45.280 But it's it's horrific.
01:37:47.160 Then they sent out this
01:37:48.260 tweet that said the
01:37:51.200 biggest this was from the
01:37:52.420 African National Congress.
01:37:53.960 They tweeted out the
01:37:56.300 biggest mistake we are
01:37:57.600 making is to consult
01:37:58.900 murderers.
01:38:00.200 White people are nine
01:38:01.340 percent of the population.
01:38:02.380 They own 79 percent of the
01:38:03.860 land.
01:38:04.280 They never came and
01:38:05.160 consulted us for the land.
01:38:06.260 If they want to if they
01:38:07.660 want us to forgive them
01:38:08.540 now, then let us share the
01:38:10.260 land, the mineral resources.
01:38:12.440 OK, so they essentially
01:38:13.340 called all white people
01:38:15.420 murderers, the big because
01:38:16.980 that's who they're talking
01:38:17.740 about consulting.
01:38:19.600 And people went nuts on
01:38:21.400 Twitter and they said, oh,
01:38:22.340 there were we just tweeted
01:38:23.160 out somebody who was in the
01:38:26.000 Congress who said that.
01:38:27.640 OK, you didn't attribute it
01:38:29.580 to anybody.
01:38:30.340 You didn't put any quotation
01:38:31.700 marks on it.
01:38:32.460 You didn't put that you were
01:38:33.280 retweeting it.
01:38:34.180 You know, it just came from
01:38:35.440 the African National Congress.
01:38:36.700 And if anybody doesn't think
01:38:37.580 this is just going to end
01:38:38.580 into a massive race war and
01:38:40.660 and and and slaughterhouse,
01:38:43.900 a holocaust of white people.
01:38:47.120 Look what happened in
01:38:48.080 Portland.
01:38:49.140 We were just talking about
01:38:50.220 this.
01:38:50.540 Have you really have you read
01:38:51.880 the story about what
01:38:52.980 happened in Portland?
01:38:53.860 It's crazy.
01:38:54.680 OK, it is.
01:38:55.820 It is because of the mayor.
01:38:58.520 Yeah.
01:38:59.440 Just allowing this to happen.
01:39:01.140 Just going to go.
01:39:01.860 You know what?
01:39:02.360 I don't like ice and so
01:39:04.240 they're not going to get
01:39:04.800 any help from me.
01:39:05.800 They took hostages in a
01:39:09.400 federal building.
01:39:10.240 They took federal agents
01:39:11.920 as hostages and nothing
01:39:14.260 happened to them.
01:39:15.260 It's amazing how little we
01:39:16.360 heard of that, too.
01:39:17.080 It's incredible.
01:39:18.320 Almost nothing about that.
01:39:19.780 We heard about the mess
01:39:20.700 they left behind.
01:39:21.560 You know why?
01:39:22.100 Do you know who's
01:39:22.620 sponsoring them?
01:39:23.260 You know who's supporting
01:39:24.160 them?
01:39:24.560 Who?
01:39:24.840 Democratic Socialists of
01:39:26.060 America.
01:39:26.500 Of course.
01:39:26.800 Yeah.
01:39:27.940 Care.
01:39:29.900 I mean,
01:39:30.980 jeez,
01:39:31.580 that's why that's why
01:39:33.720 they're it's it's
01:39:34.720 politically totally fine.
01:39:36.580 It's the same thing that
01:39:38.040 is happening in a bigger
01:39:39.660 on a bigger scale or more
01:39:41.380 troubling scale in South
01:39:42.700 Africa.
01:39:43.680 It's it's fine.
01:39:45.280 It's fine.
01:39:46.540 It's totally fine.
01:39:47.400 Take it.
01:39:48.340 Yeah, they did it.
01:39:50.280 White people did it.
01:39:51.040 White people are responsible
01:39:52.160 for apartheid.
01:39:53.480 Right.
01:39:53.620 So now they have it coming
01:39:54.820 to him.
01:39:55.120 Didn't we say that that was
01:39:56.620 wrong?
01:39:57.500 Yeah.
01:39:57.700 Didn't we all agree that
01:39:58.740 that was wrong?
01:39:59.640 Nelson Mandela say that was
01:40:00.700 wrong, didn't he?
01:40:02.080 Do you remember you
01:40:02.860 remember meeting with the
01:40:03.880 guy that got Nelson Mandela
01:40:05.560 out of jail, the white guy?
01:40:06.840 Yeah.
01:40:07.740 Do you remember what he
01:40:08.280 said?
01:40:08.940 Do you remember how he what
01:40:09.880 he said when Nelson Mandela
01:40:11.600 met?
01:40:12.160 What was his name?
01:40:13.260 It wasn't cleric.
01:40:14.160 Was it the the the head of
01:40:17.500 the the white party in in
01:40:20.580 South Africa?
01:40:21.380 I think it was cleric.
01:40:22.520 Was it?
01:40:22.960 I think so.
01:40:23.400 And remember he said he
01:40:25.660 said he was there and he
01:40:26.680 said not a lot of people knew
01:40:29.000 this at the time.
01:40:29.800 I don't know if they do
01:40:30.340 now, he said, but I was
01:40:32.160 there and he said Nelson
01:40:33.560 Mandela came and nobody
01:40:35.940 knew what Nelson Mandela
01:40:37.080 was going to do.
01:40:38.180 I mean, he could have
01:40:38.860 started a race war.
01:40:40.140 It could have been just
01:40:40.820 massive bloodshed.
01:40:42.100 It could have been total
01:40:42.580 revenge.
01:40:43.100 Right.
01:40:43.260 And cleric could have done
01:40:44.420 the same thing, could have
01:40:45.780 just said, get the army, go.
01:40:49.320 And it was very tense.
01:40:50.940 And he said Nelson Mandela
01:40:52.060 walked into the room.
01:40:53.080 And remember, he said he
01:40:54.720 got down on his knees in
01:40:57.520 front of cleric and said,
01:41:00.040 brother, please.
01:41:02.200 I have I have no animosity
01:41:05.580 towards you, have none
01:41:07.620 towards me.
01:41:08.620 You have the chance right
01:41:10.760 now to join me and set
01:41:13.880 things right and fix this
01:41:16.320 through peace.
01:41:16.920 And he was on his knees.
01:41:19.440 It's an amazing story.
01:41:21.160 Yeah, amazing.
01:41:21.920 And cleric did he joined
01:41:23.340 him and they set out to
01:41:24.820 reconciliation until this
01:41:26.200 new president came in and
01:41:27.900 said, reckon his quote is
01:41:29.620 reconciliation is over.
01:41:31.040 Time has passed for
01:41:32.380 reconciliation.
01:41:33.780 Yeah, that's now it's
01:41:34.880 revenge.
01:41:36.680 And we mentioned several
01:41:39.240 times how politically we're
01:41:42.440 we couldn't be further from
01:41:44.020 Nelson Mandela.
01:41:45.120 I mean, he was socialist
01:41:46.640 communist.
01:41:48.200 He but but as far as
01:41:50.920 forgiveness for his for his
01:41:52.760 country.
01:41:53.460 Yeah.
01:41:53.800 And for his fellow men, he
01:41:56.220 was same thing.
01:41:57.480 Unbelievable.
01:41:58.040 Same thing with Martin
01:41:59.400 Luther King.
01:42:00.120 Yeah.
01:42:00.600 I mean, Martin Luther King
01:42:01.760 towards the end.
01:42:02.860 I think he was moving right
01:42:04.380 towards, you know, socialism,
01:42:06.080 communism.
01:42:07.220 It seems like it.
01:42:08.280 Yeah, it seems like it.
01:42:09.100 I don't know for sure.
01:42:10.080 I mean, he's dead.
01:42:10.860 I don't know.
01:42:11.540 He says not.
01:42:12.460 Yeah.
01:42:12.700 But who knows?
01:42:15.160 Doesn't matter when it comes
01:42:17.240 to how you behave in
01:42:19.860 situations like that.
01:42:22.000 He's the man.
01:42:23.140 So is Nelson Mandela.
01:42:24.680 So is Gandhi.
01:42:25.720 I don't agree with Gandhi.
01:42:27.260 And this guy seems to be a
01:42:28.260 bad dude.
01:42:29.160 He just wants this guy.
01:42:30.420 He just wants revenge.
01:42:31.340 Oh, yeah.
01:42:31.540 This guy's a really bad
01:42:32.300 dude.
01:42:34.200 So.
01:42:34.860 So what happens?
01:42:36.360 Well, I unless we intervene,
01:42:38.740 I think there's going to be
01:42:39.960 serious bloodshed.
01:42:42.220 If I were a white farmer,
01:42:44.120 I think I'd be getting
01:42:44.880 for getting out of that
01:42:45.880 country.
01:42:46.200 And now I believe they can't.
01:42:48.560 That's what I've heard.
01:42:49.380 Yeah.
01:42:49.500 I've heard they can't.
01:42:50.820 Yeah.
01:42:51.340 I mean, we might actually
01:42:53.280 have to go talk to the
01:42:55.080 Nazarene Fund and see.
01:42:57.200 I mean, I don't know.
01:42:58.300 I don't think he can get out.
01:42:59.520 I mean, I'm not I'm not
01:43:01.020 excited about getting
01:43:01.960 entangled in other messes,
01:43:03.300 but I mean, I don't know
01:43:05.300 what they're going to do
01:43:05.880 there.
01:43:06.560 They're just going to be
01:43:07.180 slaughtered.
01:43:08.720 And if somebody doesn't
01:43:09.420 help them, I mean,
01:43:10.480 that's what happened in
01:43:11.240 Zimbabwe.
01:43:11.760 It's just going to be
01:43:12.300 ethnic cleansing.
01:43:14.120 I mean, Zimbabwe is a
01:43:14.960 really clear parallel here
01:43:16.340 where it's exactly the
01:43:17.360 same.
01:43:17.480 They took away the
01:43:18.840 the land from the white
01:43:20.960 farmers and the black
01:43:21.800 and gave it to their black
01:43:22.760 friends.
01:43:23.040 Who did?
01:43:23.620 Who did?
01:43:24.140 The dictator Mugabe.
01:43:25.340 Yeah.
01:43:25.600 Who was a.
01:43:26.660 Yeah.
01:43:27.340 So socialist.
01:43:28.840 Yeah.
01:43:29.160 And and he, you know,
01:43:31.920 the big problem there
01:43:32.740 to his friends who were
01:43:33.720 black.
01:43:34.220 Yeah.
01:43:34.320 They were not farmers.
01:43:35.580 They weren't farmers.
01:43:36.100 They didn't know how to
01:43:36.660 farm.
01:43:37.240 And what happened?
01:43:37.760 The people starved.
01:43:39.020 Oh, it's kind of like
01:43:39.680 what happened with Lenin,
01:43:41.180 who was also a democratic
01:43:42.820 socialist.
01:43:44.780 Also what happened in
01:43:45.340 Idiocracy, which is a
01:43:46.740 movie.
01:43:48.200 So there's a lot of
01:43:49.600 similarities here.
01:43:50.540 But I mean, making double
01:43:52.080 standards for one race
01:43:53.320 over another is always a
01:43:54.420 bad idea.
01:43:54.900 It was a bad idea when
01:43:55.760 white people did it to
01:43:56.520 black people.
01:43:57.180 Yeah.
01:43:57.320 It was really bad.
01:43:58.220 And now that it's
01:43:59.000 happening the other way
01:43:59.940 around is also really bad.
01:44:01.820 We're seeing it on
01:44:02.360 smaller scales even here in
01:44:03.320 the United States with
01:44:04.180 we talked about this last
01:44:06.000 week when the reporter
01:44:08.840 from the New York Times
01:44:09.780 tweeted all these things
01:44:10.700 about how they want.
01:44:11.960 She wanted all black.
01:44:12.860 I mean, she she liked
01:44:13.820 being cruel to old white
01:44:15.700 people.
01:44:16.580 Yeah.
01:44:16.840 She wanted to cancel
01:44:18.580 white people as a race
01:44:20.720 and all of these terrible
01:44:22.080 blatantly racist things
01:44:23.700 that the New York Times
01:44:24.340 just stood by.
01:44:25.320 Right.
01:44:25.500 And Twitter.
01:44:26.640 And Twitter.
01:44:27.300 She tweeted them.
01:44:28.360 They just don't care.
01:44:29.000 So I think it was
01:44:29.760 Candace Owens.
01:44:30.760 I believe this weekend
01:44:31.900 who's a, you know,
01:44:33.120 conservative.
01:44:34.680 Provocateur.
01:44:35.120 Right.
01:44:35.400 Like kind of a pro
01:44:36.460 Trump sort of commentator
01:44:37.640 came out and said
01:44:39.480 just tweeted all the
01:44:41.340 exact same things but
01:44:42.300 just changed the words
01:44:43.100 to black.
01:44:44.000 She herself is also
01:44:45.300 black and she got
01:44:46.980 suspended from Twitter
01:44:47.880 because of it.
01:44:48.560 My gosh.
01:44:49.180 Now Twitter later on
01:44:50.220 said, oh, that was a
01:44:51.100 mistake.
01:44:51.600 Oops.
01:44:52.220 Oops.
01:44:52.820 Look how fast that
01:44:54.040 happened.
01:44:54.440 Yeah, I know.
01:44:55.080 It's how fast that
01:44:56.600 happened.
01:44:57.080 Now, I mean, I think
01:44:57.780 you can make a great
01:44:58.600 argument that you
01:44:59.380 should be able to
01:44:59.980 tweet pretty much
01:45:00.640 everything you want
01:45:01.940 except for direct
01:45:02.840 threats.
01:45:03.240 Except we don't live
01:45:03.260 there.
01:45:03.620 That's not where we
01:45:04.220 live.
01:45:04.720 Yeah, no, I know.
01:45:05.460 It's true.
01:45:06.140 We don't live there
01:45:07.000 at all.
01:45:07.700 But that's what I
01:45:08.260 mean.
01:45:08.440 You don't give, you
01:45:09.780 don't, you shouldn't
01:45:10.660 give racial preferences.
01:45:12.140 That should never
01:45:13.020 occur.
01:45:13.480 Let me ask you this,
01:45:14.700 Pat.
01:45:14.980 This is the question
01:45:16.060 of the day.
01:45:16.440 We started the show
01:45:17.220 on this.
01:45:19.540 I think I have to
01:45:20.600 stand with Alex Jones.
01:45:23.320 You know, I can't
01:45:24.140 say it that way.
01:45:26.540 Thank you.
01:45:27.200 Alex Jones.
01:45:28.620 I was thinking the
01:45:29.240 same thing this
01:45:29.800 morning.
01:45:30.120 Alex Jones taken
01:45:30.980 now off of
01:45:31.780 Stitcher, taken
01:45:32.620 off iTunes,
01:45:33.980 Facebook, Spotify,
01:45:35.300 Apple, Spotify.
01:45:36.660 He's got these.
01:45:37.600 There's no more
01:45:38.380 voice going to
01:45:38.900 crumble.
01:45:39.580 I mean, you know,
01:45:40.220 he's got a lot of
01:45:41.140 employees now.
01:45:41.880 He's built quite a
01:45:42.700 nice business selling
01:45:43.480 male vitality formula,
01:45:44.600 and I don't think that
01:45:45.140 it's going to last
01:45:46.080 without this, without
01:45:48.280 all of these.
01:45:48.980 I mean, he has no
01:45:49.420 reach.
01:45:49.980 He has no reach.
01:45:50.540 If he loses YouTube,
01:45:51.560 he is completely
01:45:52.120 screwed.
01:45:52.680 They even said it's
01:45:53.560 not fake news, which
01:45:54.540 you could make a
01:45:55.200 point, you could make
01:45:56.080 a case that he does
01:45:57.820 do a lot of fake
01:45:58.680 stuff.
01:45:59.180 He does.
01:45:59.820 I mean, it's all
01:46:00.600 conspiracy crap that's
01:46:02.380 been disproven time
01:46:03.480 and time and time
01:46:04.100 again.
01:46:04.340 But first they come
01:46:04.960 for Alex Jones.
01:46:05.560 People can figure
01:46:06.080 that out for
01:46:06.700 themselves.
01:46:07.560 Trust the American
01:46:08.980 people to figure it
01:46:10.860 out.
01:46:11.500 Let us noodle that
01:46:12.380 out.
01:46:12.820 That's why I bring it
01:46:13.580 up, because we need
01:46:14.700 to figure it out.
01:46:16.560 You can't just shut
01:46:17.560 these people off.
01:46:18.600 Right.
01:46:18.860 Hate grows in the
01:46:20.840 darkness.
01:46:21.180 Yeah.
01:46:22.060 And if you feel
01:46:22.860 like nobody, you
01:46:23.860 know what?
01:46:24.140 They're trying to
01:46:24.540 silence him.
01:46:25.260 Now that just makes
01:46:26.380 people even more
01:46:27.240 crazy.
01:46:28.380 Don't don't.
01:46:29.720 This is wrong.
01:46:30.900 It's stupid.
01:46:31.560 You can't silence
01:46:32.620 voices on either the
01:46:34.220 left or the right.
01:46:36.740 Don't silence
01:46:38.100 voices.
01:46:39.060 Sadly, you can if
01:46:40.140 you're a private
01:46:40.600 business.
01:46:41.400 And that's the
01:46:41.880 problem here.
01:46:42.800 But these are
01:46:43.460 private businesses.
01:46:44.200 They can do that if
01:46:45.020 they want to.
01:46:45.580 Yes, it's just a
01:46:46.320 huge mistake.
01:46:47.260 There's a can and
01:46:47.920 it should dissection
01:46:49.840 here.
01:46:50.240 Right.
01:46:50.400 And like, yeah,
01:46:50.820 absolutely.
01:46:51.520 They shouldn't.
01:46:52.360 Of course they
01:46:52.860 can.
01:46:53.080 They shouldn't
01:46:53.500 though.
01:46:53.840 I mean, I don't
01:46:54.740 think you should
01:46:55.080 honestly, like the
01:46:56.240 easiest way to solve
01:46:57.000 these things is just
01:46:57.620 keep it open and let
01:46:58.600 people choose what
01:46:59.240 they want to see.
01:46:59.920 And if they choose
01:47:00.360 the wrong thing,
01:47:00.880 that's not your
01:47:01.240 responsibility face.
01:47:02.260 Right.
01:47:02.460 It's not your
01:47:02.860 responsibility to try
01:47:04.260 to, you know, to
01:47:04.960 to make the country
01:47:06.200 a better political
01:47:07.960 discourse.
01:47:09.160 It's for people to
01:47:10.060 find what they want.
01:47:11.140 Let me play devil's
01:47:11.880 advocate, but you're a
01:47:12.840 brand.
01:47:14.020 And is that what
01:47:14.520 your brand stands
01:47:15.700 for?
01:47:16.340 Because the brand of
01:47:17.820 yes, yes.
01:47:19.160 everyone can speak
01:47:21.100 here and say what
01:47:22.140 they want.
01:47:22.620 Some of it's ugly.
01:47:23.980 Some of it's not.
01:47:25.380 Well, that's not a
01:47:26.860 popular brand,
01:47:27.620 unfortunately, in
01:47:28.740 America today.
01:47:30.760 Thanks, Pat.
01:47:31.500 It is not a popular
01:47:35.460 brand, unlike Pat
01:47:37.040 Gray Unleashed, a very
01:47:38.460 popular brand, available
01:47:40.300 now on iTunes and
01:47:42.300 Stitcher and SoundCloud
01:47:44.300 and all the places
01:47:45.580 they're banning Alex
01:47:46.600 Jones.
01:47:46.960 You can get Pat
01:47:47.560 Gray Unleashed.
01:47:49.500 So it's the middle of
01:47:50.440 the night.
01:47:50.660 You're tossing and
01:47:51.140 turning.
01:47:51.380 You're not sleeping.
01:47:52.040 You're drenched in
01:47:52.640 sweat in your saying,
01:47:54.140 I hate this bed.
01:47:56.820 I hate summertime.
01:47:58.100 And if you've ever had
01:47:59.180 a if you've ever had
01:48:00.440 a foam mattress, you
01:48:02.580 hate the wintertime
01:48:03.580 too, because it's
01:48:04.800 always hot.
01:48:06.780 Casper mattress,
01:48:07.840 Casper mattress.
01:48:08.680 They have reinvented
01:48:09.700 the foam mattress.
01:48:10.740 It is unlike that.
01:48:12.100 This is a special
01:48:12.980 patented foam mattress
01:48:14.660 that they designed
01:48:15.740 that lets all of the
01:48:17.600 heat out.
01:48:18.220 So it's not, you
01:48:19.120 know, fires a hell
01:48:19.860 hot and it ships for
01:48:20.860 free in a box so small
01:48:21.900 that you're not going
01:48:22.400 to believe there's a
01:48:22.900 mattress in it comes
01:48:24.080 right to your front
01:48:24.720 door.
01:48:25.020 You open it up,
01:48:25.940 open it up on the bed
01:48:27.100 or where the bed
01:48:27.740 needs to be, and
01:48:29.520 then you can try it
01:48:30.280 for 100 nights.
01:48:30.960 If you don't love it,
01:48:31.580 they'll refund all
01:48:32.440 of your money.
01:48:32.960 No questions asked.
01:48:34.380 It's Casper.
01:48:35.920 Sleep in comfort.
01:48:37.360 Sleep cool every
01:48:38.660 night.

01:48:43.500 it, just return it.
01:48:44.580 You get $50 off the
01:48:45.760 purchase of your
01:48:46.380 select mattress if
01:48:47.280 you use the promo
01:48:47.840 code Beck at
01:48:48.460 Casper.com.
01:48:49.500 That's the promo
01:48:50.360 code Beck at
01:48:51.780 Casper.com.
01:48:53.200 Terms and conditions
01:48:53.940 to apply.
01:48:57.100 Welcome back to
01:48:59.180 the program.
01:49:00.020 Tonight at 5 o'clock
01:49:00.840 only on The Blaze
01:49:01.520 TV, we're going to
01:49:02.440 be showing you
01:49:03.680 corruption.
01:49:05.120 We're going to show
01:49:05.500 you a little bit
01:49:05.960 about the Manafort
01:49:06.660 trial and show you
01:49:08.200 why it's not him.
01:49:10.100 It's not just him.
01:49:11.780 This is a very big
01:49:13.240 business and nobody's
01:49:15.480 really talking about
01:49:16.160 that.
01:49:16.520 We'll get into that
01:49:17.120 at 5 o'clock today.
01:49:18.300 Also, some interesting
01:49:19.020 news about the Supreme
01:49:19.800 Court ruling that came
01:49:20.580 out a little while ago
01:49:21.740 about unions.
01:49:23.440 You had to force public
01:49:24.860 sector union members
01:49:25.840 to pay dues even if
01:49:27.180 they didn't want to.
01:49:28.620 That was reversed.
01:49:29.620 Obviously, completely
01:49:30.760 unconstitutional.
01:49:31.820 However, it took
01:49:32.760 until now to get it
01:49:33.480 reversed.
01:49:34.580 And they're saying
01:49:35.820 now unions are
01:49:36.580 taking a beating
01:49:37.760 because of this.
01:49:39.220 Pennsylvania stopped
01:49:40.100 collecting agency fees
01:49:41.020 from 24,000 state
01:49:42.120 workers that totaled
01:49:42.860 $6.6 million in the
01:49:45.440 last year.
01:49:46.720 One estimate, New
01:49:47.860 York State will lose
01:49:48.640 $112 million in
01:49:50.100 agency fees from
01:49:51.420 state and local
01:49:52.120 workers.
01:49:52.640 On and on and on
01:49:53.160 and on.
01:49:53.300 They have all the
01:49:53.900 details.
01:49:54.780 I like this, though.
01:49:55.440 Mike Stone, a child
01:49:56.420 support worker in
01:49:57.160 Washington, had been
01:49:57.780 trying to stop paying
01:49:58.680 dues to the
01:49:59.740 Washington federal
01:50:00.300 state employees since
01:50:02.300 the court's decision
01:50:02.980 in June.
01:50:03.460 The union has denied
01:50:04.380 his request.
01:50:05.540 The catch is that he
01:50:06.580 signed a union card in
01:50:08.040 March and didn't
01:50:09.000 notice that he had
01:50:09.920 agreed to pay dues
01:50:12.020 for the next year.
01:50:13.560 It's in very small
01:50:14.360 print and unfortunately
01:50:15.180 I missed that part,
01:50:16.420 said Mr. Stone 35.
01:50:17.620 He wants to recover
01:50:18.280 more than $600 taken
01:50:19.500 out each year.
01:50:20.360 What's interesting is
01:50:21.080 if this is happening
01:50:22.660 around the country
01:50:23.700 in these states
01:50:25.020 where people just
01:50:26.080 signed the cards
01:50:26.840 and didn't realize
01:50:27.320 that that's all
01:50:27.900 going to expire
01:50:28.580 at the end of the
01:50:29.520 year.
01:50:30.080 So they're going to
01:50:30.580 take this huge hit
01:50:31.280 now.
01:50:31.840 They're going to
01:50:32.040 take another hit
01:50:33.060 next year when
01:50:34.260 people are able to
01:50:35.480 actually make that
01:50:36.320 choice and aren't
01:50:36.980 locked into a
01:50:37.600 previous decision
01:50:38.200 they didn't know
01:50:38.620 they made.
01:50:40.120 It's interesting how
01:50:41.320 all the unions are
01:50:42.900 important and I
01:50:43.740 really appreciate my
01:50:44.840 union and as soon as
01:50:45.720 you don't have to pay
01:50:46.400 the fee, you're out.
01:50:48.140 You're out.
01:50:48.840 Yes.
01:50:49.600 It's kind of like
01:50:50.000 that with taxes,
01:50:50.740 isn't it?
01:50:51.460 No, taxes are
01:50:52.580 patriotic.
01:50:53.400 It's wonderful until
01:50:54.260 you have to pay for
01:50:55.400 them and then
01:50:56.620 somebody gives you
01:50:57.640 an out, you take
01:50:58.980 it.
01:51:09.300 Glenn Beck, Mercury.
01:51:11.680 Mercury.
01:51:11.800 Mercury.
01:51:11.880 Mercury.
