00:02:01.280 hello america welcome to the glenbeck program it is the one year anniversary of the invasion

00:02:08.760 of ukraine how are things going also how are things going in ohio we have a man who might

00:02:15.320 know the answer to both of those things donald trump we're waiting on the phone now for the

00:02:20.040 president to come to the phone we want to get to him in 60 seconds sandra wrote in about her

00:02:25.560 experience with relief factor she said i used to have serious back pain i couldn't do anything

00:02:31.000 because it even even a simple task made my back feel like i had flames going through it but now

00:02:36.740 i can do everything with no pain thank you thank you i'm so glad i started relief factor sandra thank

00:02:43.660 you for taking the time to write in and giving relief factor a try 70 of the people who try it

00:02:56.340 every day three times a day and i have to tell you it it has changed my life and it's not a drug so

00:03:04.180 you're not whacked out it's uh four different key ingredients that fight inflammation in your body

00:03:10.020 and that's the source of most of our pain so please try it out 1995 for the three-week quick start it's

00:03:15.160 relieffactor.com that's relieffactor.com or call 1-800 the number four relief uh he's ready uh relieffactor.com

00:03:24.920 mr president how are you sir hi glenn it's good how are you i'm very good good to talk to you i'm great

00:03:33.820 and i have to i have to thank you for bringing so much attention to what's happening in ohio and

00:03:40.260 finally getting buddha judge to uh show up who was there yesterday uh and blaming you for the disaster

00:03:47.560 somehow or another but thank you i didn't hear that i can imagine oh yeah i always do this yeah

00:03:53.440 it's incredible what did you learn from from the people of east palestine

00:03:59.440 the unity is incredible the relationship to each other the working with each other the mayor was a

00:04:09.560 great guy i did ask a question what is your crime rate and it's almost zero so you know here we are in

00:04:16.620 new york and different cities where it's uh not only is it not zero it's numbers that have never

00:04:22.600 been seen before yeah and horrible crime to just be getting whacked from behind your head with a

00:04:28.060 baseball bat and things but i said what's your crime rate almost like uh gee that's not a very

00:04:34.400 smart question i mean we have almost no crime think of it you know it's a beautiful thing when you look

00:04:40.240 and see and there's just a lot of love there a lot of spirit they happen to love me because i mean

00:04:46.600 the relationship i got a vast amount of votes there as you probably know i think it used to be a

00:04:51.480 democrat area too yeah but i got a vast amount of votes and it was a beautiful thing to see how

00:04:56.940 we just all came together and boot boot edge edge you know we're supposed to say boot edge edge

00:05:02.860 he was supposed to be there and he decided not to come and he came the next day and he played the

00:05:09.660 very small crowds nobody cared it was too late i mean he should have been there on day one

00:05:14.520 not uh weeks after this event happened it was a very horrific event well actually um horrible event

00:05:21.360 the people can't trust the uh epa or they don't trust the epa um on on uh the testing of the air

00:05:29.860 trying to get somebody we've been trying to hire some people to go do testing there for the people

00:05:35.420 in um at east palestine and uh a lot of places just won't do it say they don't want to break up their

00:05:44.200 public private partnership with the united states who do you trust oh wow that's incredible well

00:05:50.640 that's happening in a lot of ways i mean when you look at it that people don't want to get involved

00:05:54.620 because you know the fascists that are running the country take you know umbrage at it they uh

00:06:01.180 they go after them and that's in many different ways you see it you see it even with law firms you

00:06:06.460 see it with so many different things they don't want to they don't want to take on this fascist

00:06:11.320 disgusting system that our country's turning out to be uh we're becoming like a uh like a soviet 0.99

00:06:17.960 union it's disgraceful and you see that in many ways so now you tell me that even engineer types

00:06:23.700 are doing that it's just absolutely it's absolutely horrible what's happening to our country in so many

00:06:29.640 ways whether it's the border the military what they're doing with the military so many different

00:06:34.200 things it's very sad so very dangerous very bad this is the one year anniversary of the invasion

00:06:42.100 into ukraine and mr president i can't find a good guy here i don't i don't trust putin i don't think

00:06:48.220 he's a good guy but i know because i did a lot of work on uh your so-called impeachment and what was

00:06:56.900 going on in ukraine that's wildly corrupt and i don't trust our government and i don't want to get 0.99

00:07:03.420 into a war and we are now losing almost we're close to losing the proxy part of this war and it looks

00:07:11.940 like we're headed towards something where we are going head to head what is your take on this and how

00:07:17.960 do we stop this so it's a very interesting question and i have a little more experience because i dealt with

00:07:26.180 zelinski uh i made one phone call and then i made a second call these were two congratulatory calls

00:07:32.260 once when he won first phase one of the election and one when he was one phase two they were as i

00:07:38.420 say perfect phone calls i got unanimous in the house uh acquittal unanimous from every single republican

00:07:44.560 now you haven't seen that too often but every single republican voted to acquit or to say innocent

00:07:51.280 and that was a nice thing to see the republicans came together but i got to know

00:07:55.660 a lot and learn a lot about the country now you know the country is considered extremely corrupt in

00:08:01.360 fact we have a document that says you're supposed to report them bah bah bah you know everything but

00:08:06.540 it's a very it is a very corrupt country uh i happen to like zelinski for one specific reason 1.00

00:08:13.560 when they asked him what i said was it was he threatened was he he acted as though it was a disgrace

00:08:20.480 that they were doing right with this he said what did he do he didn't do anything well he just like

00:08:26.540 couldn't believe it actually it was just a con by nancy pelosi and the con artists but zelinski could

00:08:32.660 have said oh i felt threatened i felt this i felt that could have said that and it would have been

00:08:37.800 harder uh we would have still won because it's still you know fortunately we had this uh call taped

00:08:44.140 in a way it was taped by the by the people in government and in our government and i was very

00:08:51.140 lucky that it was because we had all these people making up different stories saying they were on the

00:08:55.240 call probably they weren't even on the call but they were liars and when the tape came out that was

00:09:01.580 that was the end of their whole ploy then they went on to something new but these are just terrible

00:09:06.700 people but zelinski as you remember very well and it was quite beautiful because i didn't know you

00:09:12.540 know i didn't know him i congratulated him on a victory but he came out and he said uh absolutely

00:09:18.600 he didn't do anything wrong he didn't even know what they were talking about and and he acted that

00:09:23.020 way so i re i really respected that because he could have gotten some good political points

00:09:27.520 and i really respected that and uh so you know i like him should we should we be sending more money

00:09:35.520 more arms now they're talking about planes should we be doing this well we're going to end up in

00:09:42.120 world war three that's one thing that's going to happen and i've been sort of saying that for

00:09:46.240 a long time now uh are you ready just in a very quick nutshell this is a war that should have never

00:09:52.040 happened it would have never happened if i were in office uh zero chance of it happening i used to

00:09:57.640 speak to putin about it got along with putin very well don't forget i was tougher in russia than

00:10:02.360 anybody else you're one of the people that face that i ended their pipeline i sanctioned them i did so

00:10:07.780 many and yet i still got along with putin that's sort of a trick that's a hard trick it's a talented

00:10:12.300 trick but i got along with him but i know nobody i was the one that sent in the javelins i sent in

00:10:18.700 massive numbers of javelins and biden and obama sent in pillows and they sent in sheets i know in a

00:10:26.940 very small number but i gave them the javelins when they wiped out those tanks they wiped them out with

00:10:32.020 the stuff i sent there was nobody was it was as tough and the javelins was a big deal but the

00:10:37.120 biggest deal was i shut down the nordstrom 2 pipeline that nobody even heard of until i came

00:10:41.900 along so when people know about it nobody heard of it when you go to the nordstrom pipeline which

00:10:47.940 you did shut down biden opened up now there's uh some reporting that says we blew it up biden did

00:10:56.300 a covert mission and blew it up do you believe that well it could have been us and it could have

00:11:03.840 been uh it could have been ukraine and it could have been some third-party country that wants to see

00:11:09.520 that wants to see trouble the one group it wasn't is russia you know they blame russia for for doing

00:11:15.220 it this was a main is a main source of massive income to them they didn't blow it up to make a

00:11:20.880 point that's the one thing i can tell you for sure remember when it first happened they said russia

00:11:25.240 did it you know russia always said russia russia and i lived for years with that where uh everything

00:11:31.060 gets blamed on russia gets blamed on you these people are sick i'm telling you but it could have 0.67

00:11:35.720 been it could have been working in conjunction with ukraine because ukraine is total dominance

00:11:40.240 over the united states total dominance i mean we've given them probably 150 billion dollars

00:11:45.980 and europe has given them almost nothing and that bothers me that really bothers me because i had it

00:11:51.680 i had it out with them on nato you know we were taking care of data we were taking care of i got

00:11:56.020 450 billion dollars from the european nations from nato that's the other thing nobody was tougher on them

00:12:02.180 but then they still beat us on trade because i had that just about stopped you know europe is almost as

00:12:09.580 bad as china on dealing on trade they're very very restrictive very very tough they don't take our cars

00:12:15.580 they don't take our farm products meaning much of they don't do you know they treat us uh with a lack

00:12:21.580 of respect well they were starting to respect us a lot and big and we were straightening a lot of

00:12:27.000 things out but the saddest part about the war is that this is a war that should have never happened

00:12:31.640 okay so now it happened uh now you have to get people in a room you have to knock heads and you have

00:12:36.180 to get it done so and that would mean that would mean saying things to putin and saying things to

00:12:42.480 zelinski that they're not going to want to hear and getting them into a room and getting it done

00:12:47.760 people are dying by the thousands you know glenn when i see the reports that they knock down a city

00:12:53.220 you know these cities are being leveled there's not a building standing in a lot of these cities

00:12:56.860 i've seen pictures that maybe other people don't get to see maybe they do but or take a look at the

00:13:02.460 newspaper when they have a topographical picture of a city there's a one building standing it's

00:13:09.480 incredible and then they say uh one person died and three people were injured no no many people

00:13:15.840 died right many people were badly injured and we're not getting the true facts about what's

00:13:20.960 happening in this war let me ask you one one more question because i know you're on such a tight

00:13:24.740 schedule so let me just ask you one more question china is now offering to negotiate the peace there

00:13:30.120 but the chinese just flew a spy balloon which you know we didn't shoot down but today we're finding out

00:13:38.180 that a u2 spy plane took pictures of it it had a payload the size of three different buses

00:13:44.760 it was being navigated solar panels creating energy for it and we allowed it to fly over our missile silos

00:13:53.560 and strategic air command this is dereliction of duty if if we're being kind

00:14:02.320 well there are those that say as you know uh that biden and the biden family are truly

00:14:10.800 conflicted and compromised with respect to china uh there's a lot of money going around and it's

00:14:18.880 substantial money and big money and decisions are being made i mean when you look at what they're

00:14:24.540 doing to us on trade they're giving back so much of what i won and it's crazy it doesn't make sense

00:14:30.680 like the border it doesn't make sense to allow it will be 15 million people pretty soon 15 million

00:14:37.540 it was not three they used to say three the people are pouring in at will i'm watching hospitals are

00:14:43.820 being overrun and everything is being overrun by people that are coming out of their prisons are coming

00:14:51.140 out of their mental institutions they're overrunning our country who would say that that's good i mean 1.00

00:14:58.720 what person would say that that's good but with china they are perhaps compromised by china because 0.99

00:15:06.420 decisions are being made that are very strange as an example why wouldn't that have been shot down

00:15:11.820 long before because those messages don't sit in that balloon there's a message are the messages are

00:15:18.480 immediately transmitted on the second they're immediately transmitted so this thing flew all across

00:15:25.140 our country did its work it probably had nothing left to do it was heading back and then they shot it

00:15:32.080 down the whole thing is crazy so many things are are so wrong why don't we have voter id why are they

00:15:40.640 allowing millions of people and many of these people are terrorists and people that are going to be

00:15:46.400 causing us from we're going to be feeling the border for many years to come no matter who it is

00:15:51.700 we're going to be feeling it they are destroying and poisoning our country and you say why are they

00:15:57.060 doing this why are they doing it but this is a family that could very well be compromised because

00:16:02.600 why are they allowing this to happen with respect to china at the same time the ultimate sin is taking

00:16:09.680 place and i learned this when i was a young student studying history never let china and russia

00:16:16.660 unify yeah and we have let them unify we force them into a unification we have and that's the

00:16:23.460 most dangerous thing that can happen to our country mr president i your people are giving us the high

00:16:29.100 sign uh that you have got to go i hope we have a chance to talk again soon uh it's been a while

00:16:35.400 it's good to talk to you sir thank you so much anytime thank you very much thanks len you bet bubby

00:16:40.980 see you soon bye when it comes to doing business with somebody there's two kinds of trust that you

00:16:47.380 have to worry about you need to be able to trust that the person is honest that somebody is is really

00:16:52.760 listening to you understands you and is is not just placating you also you need to be able to trust that

00:17:00.020 person uh knows what they're doing well that's where real estate agents i trust.com comes in those two

00:17:08.540 things are so critical to especially for the biggest transaction probably of your life your home

00:17:13.800 these people will listen to you they understand you because they are cut from the same cloth most of if

00:17:20.780 not all of them are listeners to this program so they're fans of the show so you have that in common

00:17:26.120 but also these are the best of the best these are the people that have great track records um and we

00:17:32.980 monitor them all the time they don't work for us but we recommend them and it's after a long vetting

00:17:39.620 process i mean it's agonizing the vetting process for them not for us and we want to make sure that

00:17:46.180 they're the right people to recommend to you realestateagentsitrust.com if you're looking for

00:17:52.600 a real estate agent these are the people that you should at least start with interview them yourself

00:17:56.920 it's no cost to you realestateagentsitrust.com just tell us what you're in need of where you're

00:18:02.960 in need and we will hopefully have a real estate agent in your area that we think you can trust

00:18:09.600 this person realestateagentsitrust.com 10 seconds station id

00:18:14.300 that was uh quite an interesting conversation yeah there was uh a lot there yeah

00:18:32.780 some things you you you i don't know that i've ever heard a former president uh the our government

00:18:38.580 is fascistic it's the fascists that are running our government that would have at any other time

00:18:45.100 at any other time that would have stopped all the presses everywhere a former president saying that the

00:18:52.660 current president is a fascist but they've been saying that about him when he was president so i guess

00:18:57.800 it's no big deal yeah i guess they've set a precedent there right uh that we will go into 0.81

00:19:03.300 this will cause world war three i think the quote was we're going to end up in world war three that's

00:19:08.440 quite the quote from a former president um and you know someone who's obviously the you know the leader

00:19:15.380 in the field to uh to replace the current president yeah and you know i think going it's it's an

00:19:21.560 interesting line to walk as far as talking about all this stuff from president trump because he

00:19:27.300 his best argument on this stuff is i was already president and none of this stuff happened correct

00:19:33.220 right like that's and he shut down the nordstrom pipeline and now he's saying we might have done

00:19:38.820 that that's that was crazy yeah and i think you know we've talked about this off the air a decent

00:19:45.700 amount and a little bit on the air as well that the you know if it wasn't us who did it

00:19:50.840 and you go to their initial excuse that this was essentially russia blowing up the pipeline and

00:19:57.660 you know it just doesn't make any sense it i mean i it just from a on a surface standpoint it doesn't

00:20:04.960 make any sense and i think that's what president trump outlined as well i mean could it be a third

00:20:10.460 party country could it be a faction inside of russia that wanted you know a far you know a right-wing

00:20:16.420 fashion that wants uh excuse me faction that wants to prevent putin from reconnecting to europe i mean

00:20:24.020 that's possible that's really the those are the only real possibilities possibilities outside of us

00:20:30.160 i mean why would why would they do it themselves i mean if they just after investing all this money

00:20:33.780 and wanting at that time to yeah remain connected to the global economy and it hadn't really evaporated

00:20:41.540 completely yet there there's a fascinating story um if you get today's show prep um and to get it all

00:20:48.380 you have to do is just subscribe to um my daily newsletter you'll get it every morning and it's got

00:20:55.160 about 60 stories that i use for my show prep it's what we have gathered for the last 24 hours that we

00:21:01.460 feel you really need to know about um and there's a story in it today just go to glenbeck.com and sign up

00:21:07.260 for that by the way there's a story today that you look at this now a year later and um we're not

00:21:14.220 getting the truth about russia's economy and this one is really fascinating because we're being told

00:21:23.460 that the russian economy is uh is is is doing fairly well we're being told that their gdp growth is 2.2

00:21:34.000 well they shouldn't be growing at all right and we're getting this uh we're getting this um

00:21:43.900 research now from russia right from them from them which we didn't we never believe china's growth

00:21:50.780 numbers why are we believing russia's growth numbers so we have this really fascinating story

00:21:57.560 where you look at it and you see what we're being told and then what the real numbers are

00:22:05.320 they're in deep deep trouble deep trouble financially this is something that nato and

00:22:13.740 the biden administration should be taking a victory lap over why did the president just say

00:22:20.320 that it's not hitting them hard enough we need even more sanctions why is our government putting out

00:22:28.320 uh through the imf something that that shows a lie that is based on all the numbers that putin gave

00:22:37.200 why it doesn't really seem to make sense you can find out all about it just sign up for my daily

00:22:45.800 email newsletter at glennbeck.com the glennbeck program how many times you've bitten into a big

00:22:53.000 old steak and said wow this is delicious right i'm hoping that you know the answer is you know a lot of

00:24:11.180 every single member of the press should be asking the white house

00:24:26.520 you had photos from a u2 spy plane 1960s technology you had photos of the payload underneath that

00:24:38.000 chinese balloon it was navigating itself it had its own power supply it had antennas satellites it had

00:24:47.260 cameras on it and it intentionally snaked its way over all of our missile sites

00:24:56.160 our silos and strategic air command

00:25:00.820 and you knew it as soon as it got into our airspace you knew it you have been tracking it since china

00:25:10.560 but now we find out that we had pictures of a payload that was as big as three school buses

00:25:16.840 and you let it go and then you lied to us for two weeks saying you didn't know what it was

00:25:23.840 you thought it might be a weather balloon you knew it wasn't

00:25:28.040 that should be the question at the white house right now right now

00:25:33.800 we are being lied to like crazy like crazy

00:25:40.680 and this can't stand the things that are coming our way are way too important let me give you what

00:25:49.800 the asia times is writing today i want to give you just a little just a little touch on this

00:25:54.840 they're reviewing the week and they're saying we had two speeches one from biden and one from putin

00:26:01.740 and they happened within hours of each other and if you listen to them you had putin uh i mean sorry

00:26:09.720 you had biden saying that they are there till the end and they're going to send the m1 a1 tanks

00:26:17.480 and maybe there's more but 500 billion dollars was being committed in that speech

00:26:25.260 then the other speech and i'm quoting the other speech front came from putin who spoke for a whopping

00:26:30.900 two hours on tuesday evening which he reiterated his commitment to total victory over ukraine and how

00:26:37.020 the united states was ruled by satanists and pedophiles unsurprisingly western media outlets

00:26:42.920 simply refused to cover the speech that those that did were openly derisive the speech certainly

00:26:49.200 was castro-esque in its uh loquaciousness but it was tinged with quasi-religious accusations against

00:26:55.800 the west that would make most iranian mullahs blush but there was substance in putin's words he not

00:27:03.900 only signaled that his commitment to the conflict was as strong as ever but he was escalating it in

00:27:10.500 in response to what he viewed as american escalation in fact putin issued his first significant threat

00:27:17.880 towards the north atlantic treaty organization nato he told his american rivals that they were to

00:27:23.720 remove the offensive long-range weapon systems in ukraine we're sending more he told us this week

00:27:32.280 remove them or russian forces will begin directly targeting those systems okay there's a red line for

00:27:40.340 you now most likely we have our soldiers on the ground helping with those long-range systems we know

00:27:47.860 that because we've practically sent their photographs all around the world when any of those die

00:27:54.800 is that a problem for us how do we respond let me show you what i think could very well happen

00:28:05.920 that you need to pay attention to because it's over and as president trump said it will end in world war

00:28:13.720 number three this is a way that it will happen and most people will never even understand it it'll be like

00:28:21.500 the archduke ferdinand what why do we even care and you're in war and it all centers around a small country

00:28:29.140 called moldova here's something that you will know that most people don't and you need to keep this in your

00:28:38.040 back pocket and watch it so moldova has always had ties to russia close ties more than 5 000 russian

00:28:46.740 troops have been stationed in moldova since 2014 reason why moldova is so important is because they have

00:28:56.160 the largest artillery ammunition factory and storage facilities in all of eastern europe both russia and

00:29:04.140 ukraine are running out of artillery ammunition russians are firing 30 000 rounds a day ukraine is using about

00:29:14.760 20 000 shells now here's the real problem to give you some perspective all across our entire country

00:29:23.960 the u.s makes only about 20 000 uh artillery shells per month so already ukraine is firing what we can make 0.91

00:29:36.400 and supply in a month they're using that every day our stocks are running low now we don't have

00:29:46.340 artillery shells in case we get into a war so then the guns fall silent do you want to understand

00:29:53.720 why we're talking about sending tanks and now we're considering the f-16 fighter jets because as soon as

00:30:01.160 that artillery goes dry tanks and planes but the moldovan ammunition storage facility contains more than

00:30:10.100 3.5 million 155 millimeter shells so the the ammo dump has now more shells in moldova than we make in

00:30:22.920 14 years now this is coming from the bbc this part listen to this they indicate that ukraine now

00:30:30.960 has massed about 20 000 troops on the moldovan border with the possibility possibility of the goal of

00:30:39.520 invading moldova and grabbing the ammo depot 5 000 russian troops have been stationed in moldova

00:30:46.940 and they're preparing for an invasion and russia is now preparing a sort of berlin airlift program

00:30:54.080 to get more troops and equipment into moldova this is a landlocked country they want to guard the

00:31:02.260 territory and the ammunition for themselves key factor that no one knows or is talking about

00:31:11.380 two days ago putin didn't just say hey i'm not paying attention to the nuclear start treaty anymore

00:31:18.620 the duma ratified that but also he rescinded a years old decree that recognized moldovian sovereignty

00:31:29.360 basically what this did two days ago was give him the right to claim moldova as a province of russia

00:31:39.060 now you might want to ask hmm why do they have so much of this ammunition because it was a soviet

00:31:48.400 satellite and this was this was the center of keeping it so why does it matter well because it's sitting

00:31:56.760 between ukraine and romania remember ukraine is not nato romania is well they can have a fight

00:32:04.220 in moldova no they really can't moldova and romania allow try this on for size for dual citizenship

00:32:15.200 from 2012 to 2020 the last year that they published any data more than 800 000 moldovans obtained dual

00:32:26.380 citizenship so that makes them nato and romanian citizens you have almost a million people who are

00:32:37.780 nato citizens so if they are invaded by ukraine defended by russia whatever this whatever that means for just

00:32:50.440 the war you have a million nato citizens so what are you going to do about that because that is 0.84

00:32:59.920 direct conflict now and you're killing nato citizens 0.50

00:33:05.440 and if if ukraine goes in then they're violating territory of a sovereign neighbor what do we do then

00:33:15.420 let me remind you one other thing

00:33:19.180 joe biden sent in the 101st airborne division of the u.s army okay where did he put them

00:33:29.480 they are three miles away from the moldovan border so they are in between the russians

00:33:37.640 and the ukrainians

00:33:40.060 this is how world war three begins this is how it happens overnight ukraine wants nato in the war

00:33:51.400 and so does russia ukraine wants nato to help them defeat russia directly and russia wants

00:33:57.380 nato in the war to justify and rationalize to their people see we were right look what nato's doing to

00:34:03.280 destroy us

00:34:04.120 we're dealing with a hitler-like feet uh figure with putin

00:34:15.840 and we're dealing with one who is armed with hypersonic nuclear missiles

00:34:23.820 we are also dealing with a country ukraine that is nothing more than a laundromat for money 1.00

00:34:33.900 that's all that country is a place where where politicians all over the world and countries

00:34:41.920 all over the world send their tax dollars to be laundered and put someplace else

00:34:47.100 we're not the good guy ukrainian government's not the good guy

00:34:53.900 putin's not the good guy there's only black hats here

00:34:58.320 the people in in russia the people of ukraine and the people of america will be the ones

00:35:05.420 that suffer

00:35:07.100 you watch for moldova in the news in the next couple of weeks

00:35:13.000 if you hear of an invasion either by russia or ukraine

00:35:18.400 that is probably the stepping stone to world war three 0.92

00:36:25.140 glenn beck

00:36:26.480 welcome to the glenn beck program glad you're here lots of fun it's friday

00:36:52.460 yeah we've only had a start of world war three so far in the show right fascist government that's

00:37:00.260 it uh that's it moldova is going to cause a world war three but that's it can you go into any more

00:37:05.860 depth on the on the um russian economy thing you were talking about uh they're saying it yeah it

00:37:12.700 only shrank by 2.2 percent which seems highly suspect though i am reading in some other publications

00:37:19.040 that it's been more resilient than expected okay so here's here's what it is um that's according to

00:37:25.640 the world bank and russia's gdp uh 2.2 so they get their they get it from russia's economic bureau

00:37:32.780 however however uh russia's car economy which was 10.4 percent of gdp is down now 99 percent

00:37:43.680 since the sanctions were put in place so if 99 percent of one tenth of your uh of your economy

00:37:51.120 goes offline right uh you've wiped out 10 of your economy how can you only be down 2.2 percent oil

00:37:57.700 and gas sales brought 50 of russia's gdp that's down 40 percent so it's also capping off 10 of its

00:38:07.040 production okay so it's off 40 percent what how could you possibly have that and by the way

00:38:12.640 they're capping their oil production that may not be able to be undone because of the permafrost

00:38:19.260 effects on the russian pipelines it they may crack and never be able to be put through again

00:38:25.260 consumer retail has dropped by 65 percent if you look at the the shopping centers they're ghost towns

00:38:33.480 with most of the stores closed estimated 1.5 million russians have fled the country the housing market

00:38:41.640 has dropped 20 percent this doesn't add up to a minus 2.2 percent how is that even possible it's bs

00:38:49.540 it's total bs now some of this could some of this be covered by the fact that they are clearly doing

00:38:56.980 off the books sort of transactions with you know places like china uh yeah but then how do you

00:39:04.160 how do you how do you put it in a 2.2 percent gdp how do you how are you saying you're arriving

00:39:10.680 at that it doesn't make any sense yeah why is it um the imf who by the way we just fired the head of

00:39:19.280 the imf because he wasn't he wasn't strong enough on global warming so the new guy we have in is all

00:39:27.120 with the wef and uh global warming and says that's the biggest problem we have to solve yada yada

00:39:34.000 i mean why i think i think the reason why we're heading into war is because that will trigger the net

00:39:45.760 that we're all supposed to fall into that will topple this old system that they all want to get rid of

00:39:52.840 and put us into new stakeholder capitalism and the world will reset and we'll have fewer you know

00:40:00.300 mouth breather breathers we'll have you know less co2 in the air uh okay now i don't know but that's

00:40:12.140 the way i read this it just could be i don't know corruption what well i mean how why would you have

00:40:20.320 this and at the same time you know this is true your imf comes out and says nope russia's telling

00:40:27.600 the truth you know this to be true why does the president give a speech saying we've got a double

00:40:32.820 down if these numbers are what i say they are uh gosh even close you have them at the brink of collapse

00:40:44.480 but they also know we're at the brink of collapse everything that is happening in our lives right now

00:40:53.560 is going to be a photo finish who collapses first which one do the american people or does this new

00:41:01.560 state collapse first do does russia collapse before we collapse what what we are at the brink

00:41:12.720 on so many fronts right now and it's not just america it's the entire world because that's what's up for

00:41:20.320 grabs now a new world order back in just a minute 1.00

00:41:26.400 we got no room to compromise

00:41:44.480 what you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment

00:42:09.040 this is the glenn back program

00:42:14.000 hello america it's friday we've talked about a lot of stuff this week and my head kind of hurts

00:42:24.200 um and i want to talk to you about something personal and a good friend of mine is i think

00:42:32.120 one of the most optimistic guys really smart smart individual and really focuses on happiness

00:42:40.380 he's a harvard don't hold this against him he's a harvard kennedy school and business school professor

00:42:46.460 don't hold that against him his name is arthur brooks and i want to talk to him about teen suicide

00:42:53.680 and what's happening and what can we do to steer ourselves back towards some happiness

00:43:02.860 we talked to arthur brooks in 60 seconds stand by say you got a lot of credit card debt your balance is

00:43:09.380 maybe ten thousand dollars if you only make the minimum payment it's going to take you

00:43:13.560 eight and a half years to pay that off and by the time you paid it off you paid way more way more

00:43:21.420 than ten thousand dollars here's the thing there's a way to get that monkey off your back right now if

00:43:27.060 you're a homeowner find the light at the end of the tunnel that just might be a cash out refi from

00:43:33.300 american finance take some of the cash out from your house and pay off that debt or at least pay off

00:43:39.780 some of that debt you won't be paying 20 interest rates you'll probably be paying five or six

00:43:47.020 percent in interest rates which will save you over the long run a lot of money and everybody who's

00:43:52.860 doing business uh with um american financing round right now on this they're saving an average of

00:43:59.540 about six hundred and ninety five dollars every single month plus you could end up being able to

00:44:04.800 delay two mortgage payments and close in as little as 10 days so relief it's here just reach out to

00:44:10.840 american financing americanfinancing.net or call 800-906-2440 800-906-2440 it's americanfinancing.net

00:44:21.840 americanfinancing nmls 182334 www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org

00:44:28.100 arthur brooks a brother from another mother and every time we talk to each other we both go why

00:44:35.160 are we not talking to each other all the time how are you arthur yeah i'm doing great how you doing

00:44:40.460 uh i'm good i'm good um you know i i reached out to you what was it about a month ago and then so

00:44:48.360 many things have happened we've had to keep rescheduling but um i wanted to talk to you

00:44:53.480 because i've i've had um i've had three children that have been suicidal in the last uh year and

00:45:03.520 believe it or not none of it had to do with what i talked to them about at the dinner table

00:45:07.340 um it is there is something going on now um that is just sucking our children into profound darkness

00:45:19.280 hopelessness and meaninglessness and uh i wanted to get your take on it because i'm sitting there and i

00:45:28.720 have access to resources i i am lucky enough to have a stable home situation with my wife we're great

00:45:36.600 partners i have great relationship with my kids all of my kids came to me or my wife and said

00:45:44.260 i'm in trouble that doesn't always happen and even i and my wife were overwhelmed what do we do

00:45:51.680 so can you walk us through some of these things of what's going on yeah no i as a social scientist

00:45:58.540 obviously this is getting a lot of my attention right now and as a happiness specialist this is

00:46:03.160 really critical everybody wants to be happy your kids want to be happy we want to be happy and look

00:46:08.300 we all struggle this whole idea that you know is being that we're being told increasingly over the

00:46:14.900 past few decades that you have depression or you don't have depression you have anxiety you don't

00:46:20.080 have anxiety these are not switches glenn these are dials and everybody is suffering in different ways

00:46:25.960 this is the important thing for us to keep in mind what we want to diagnosis and then treatment

00:46:30.700 treat it in some way that will get rid of the problem forever the truth of the matter is that

00:46:35.420 there's a lot of suffering in life and you and i are christian men we know that that suffering is

00:46:40.860 very very sacred but when you take the sacred out of the suffering you're going to be a big trouble

00:46:47.140 and that's what's happening to young people and a lot of not so young people today can you wait

00:46:51.620 wait can you explain can you explain we'll take the suffering out of of uh what what did you just

00:46:57.940 say sacredness out of suffering yeah sacredness out of suffering this is the thing i mean back in

00:47:03.080 the back in the 60s you know i got no you know i got every kind of beef with the hippies and you do

00:47:08.380 too they had they had a very they had a really terrible life strategy that was if it feels good do it i

00:47:15.700 remember when my dad and my dad you know you and i were little kids you know and that stuff was

00:47:19.560 going down i remember my dad watching a hippie on tv saying that he's like that's the end of america

00:47:23.780 i had the same thing that's the same thing he was kind of right but you know that but you know

00:47:31.920 what it's much worse now because now our young people are being told if it hurts make it stop

00:47:37.580 because unhappiness is your enemy and it's evidence that something's wrong with you there's something

00:47:43.320 defective with you you know the truth of the matter is that getting from one end of the day to another

00:47:48.460 has many joys and it has many sorrows and what we need to do is to understand ourselves to love each

00:47:54.860 other to support each other and that's exactly not what we're doing i mean social scientists like me

00:48:00.580 we look at this from you know 40 angles and you find all these influences that are doing it but

00:48:05.960 all together here's what's going on our society is giving us one substitute for another for the

00:48:12.800 sources of love in our life that can put all of our feelings and all of our experiences the context

00:48:17.200 social media is substituting for human love dating apps are substituting for meeting real people

00:48:24.160 we find that that uh that the technocracy and government is pulling our our communities apart

00:48:30.340 it's fragmenting our families it's making it easier to not work it's making it harder and harder for us

00:48:36.700 to practice our faith love is declining and tech and technology is increasing and the result of all of

00:48:43.780 that is that people don't have any way to understand the nature of what their life actually means and

00:48:49.920 and and none of us are safe glenn i mean none of us are safe and our kids aren't safe from this

00:48:54.560 i mean the truth is that you know there's four strategies to be happier in life and they're all about love

00:49:00.740 there's faith there's family there's friendship and there's work where we serve our sisters and

00:49:07.000 brothers boy look at that divine you know everything all four all four points or pillars are under attack

00:49:16.540 absolutely you know we are and again there's nobody and you can say there's a dark force behind this but

00:49:22.780 you're not going to say that there's some person in government or some tech executive that's trying

00:49:27.420 to attack these things no but what they're giving us is inadequate substitutes for the sources of love

00:49:33.100 in our life and the people who are most prone to seeing these things and getting addicted to these

00:49:37.980 things and the neurophysiology of this is very clear you can get addicted to smartphones just as

00:49:43.760 easily as you can get addicted to gambling or methamphetamine or you know highly glycemic carbohydrates

00:49:49.300 for that matter or alcohol or other horrible horrible love destroying things like pornography

00:49:55.240 there what they do is they give you a neurochemical high instead of the love that you actually crave

00:50:02.180 and that's what's going on and young people are the ones who their brains aren't developed as much

00:50:06.920 their their values aren't developed as much and they're very easy to fool and they're being used

00:50:12.940 for money one other thing Glenn by the way you know in our society today which is unbelievably polarized

00:50:19.800 baby boomers people our age and older are conscripting child soldiers into their culture war

00:50:27.220 and we're freaking them out we're making them say that if you disagree with my views on the climate

00:50:33.220 then you're evil that if you disagree with my ideas on covid then you're evil i'm going to cancel you and

00:50:38.600 this is going on on our side on the right it's going on the other side of the left we got to stop doing 0.96

00:50:42.700 that too because that's a zombie religion and it's not going to help uh you know Arthur i will tell you

00:50:51.280 at the i hope we're at the end of of this uh crisis in our family um and it has been um the hardest

00:51:00.200 probably six months or a year uh of my life my wife's life and our relationship together and we got

00:51:10.940 to the we got to the end of this and i said or hopefully the end of it and i said um i said to tanya

00:51:18.900 i well we made it can't believe what it what did what did we learn and we were talking about it and

00:51:26.620 i think what we learned is our faith our faith in god was mature enough to be able to say

00:51:36.140 we can't fix everything and it's we have to give this over to god do what we have to do and all that we

00:51:46.780 can do but the outcome is not in our hands and uh even if it's a bad outcome it will work

00:51:55.660 for his purposes we'll find good in it eventually and uh that's that sounds crazy to say but it's what

00:52:06.500 got us through you know you just told me is that there's sacredness and suffering yes you said it

00:52:12.880 more eloquently than i ever could have because what you understood and this is the the growth

00:52:18.140 that actually comes from the trauma of life and that brings us closer to each other and it brings

00:52:22.020 us closer to god is that actually only when we can understand the nature of our suffering what we're

00:52:27.580 learning from it how we're loving each other better then do we understand what it means to be

00:52:31.760 fully alive and putting one foot in front of the other on this earth but if we're going through life

00:52:36.040 and you know the campus counseling center is saying if you're feeling any sort of you're feeling any

00:52:41.960 sort of sadness you better get in for counseling right now and and and you know because of liability

00:52:47.160 reasons you know and everybody's pounding our kids with this idea that if you feel rotten something's

00:52:54.120 defective about you something's wrong with you and and is bleeding over into our generation too

00:52:58.880 it's a huge mistake what we need to do is to understand that look life is is a huge adventure

00:53:06.700 there's a lot of good there's a lot of bad and and you know every day if we can get down on our

00:53:12.980 knees and thank the lord for all of it every single bit of it this is the day that the lord has made i

00:53:17.760 will rejoice and be glad in it not i'm going to enjoy it right right right so so um arthur when

00:53:28.760 you when you look at um what what's happening and you you try to navigate through it one of the

00:53:36.940 things that i had a problem with and i we went to many doctors to talk to them before our kids ever

00:53:44.000 saw uh any of them uh and and i wanted to know look i'm from a generation that would have said you

00:53:52.620 relate to this get up okay stop whining about it get to work go do stuff focus you know what i mean

00:54:01.260 and right and now all of society is like no no no no don't do that don't do that and i i asked the

00:54:10.080 therapist i said i don't know what's real and what has been caused by society you know what i mean

00:54:17.560 i don't know if i'm doing more damage by being careful uh or i do more damage by doing what my

00:54:25.740 grandfather would have done and right um and they said they don't really know because this is so new

00:54:33.460 and it's sometimes a combination of both of them yeah can you comment on that at all yeah no there's a

00:54:42.460 huge amount of mystery in shrouding this i mean the whole and and the truth of the matter is that we go

00:54:46.820 through waves of of incredible intellectual or or psychological distress this goes in in waves and

00:54:52.960 it has throughout society going back literally hundreds of years so you'll find for example

00:54:58.540 remember when you and i were little kids and there was a huge huge problem of kids running off and

00:55:03.180 joining cults yeah you remember that yeah yeah and and it's like and then it stopped you know it stopped

00:55:08.680 you know all of these self-harmful behaviors you know there was a time you know back when there was

00:55:13.540 this book called civil in the 1970s yeah about a woman with six personalities and there was this

00:55:19.280 unbelievable explosion of people that were reporting to mental health authorities to you know doctor's

00:55:26.080 offices and the hospitals with multiple personalities i mean we don't understand why these things happen

00:55:31.940 whether there's suggestion you know how much of these things are actually coming from you know what's

00:55:37.340 reality and what actually isn't but we do know is there's distress and there are we do know some

00:55:41.860 things that actually work and that all of us can do right now and especially as parents there's a

00:55:46.600 bunch of parents listening to us and they're relating to you in a big way and i talk to people all the

00:55:51.060 time it doesn't matter if you're rich or you're poor you're subject to this because you know our kids

00:55:56.100 are walking around in this society today number one tough love is fine but it's got to be love more than

00:56:02.320 tough yes and so it's saying to your kids no matter what happens we're gonna be together

00:56:07.520 no matter what happens we can and guess what there's a solution to literally everything you

00:56:14.180 rob a bank i'm gonna still love you and you know don't freak out it is so freak out what's something

00:56:20.620 wrong with your kids it is so weird when you get into this situation you how much your kids think

00:56:28.540 whatever it is they've done or whatever it is they're thinking that it's unforgivable and they won't

00:56:34.620 be loved and i think that's universal and when when tanya and i um we would sit down with the kids

00:56:42.560 and they would talk to us about what they were going through what they were thinking or what they

00:56:46.180 had done or whatever there were times that tanya and i i know we're inside going ah um but we just

00:56:55.100 we had agreed before do not react don't react and then just say you know what let's pray on it

00:57:02.000 and give ourselves time to decompress and when i said to each one of the kids whatever it is they

00:57:09.440 were dealing with you know even if this goes you know horribly awry and your life doesn't go any way

00:57:16.940 the way you think it's going to you know that we're always your parents you know that uh you know if

00:57:24.280 you you know if you ever did something it caused you to go to jail we're still the ones that are going

00:57:29.520 to be visiting you because we'll always love you and each of them broke down at that moment and it

00:57:37.820 shocked me because we have such a good relationship with our kids that i thought they would know that

00:57:43.540 but sometimes you have to say it to them yeah there's so many things that you need to make overt

00:57:49.800 in these relationships and it's i mean glenn the data is so interesting about how kids learn about

00:57:55.780 these values now remember when you and i first understood our relationship to the master

00:58:01.280 first understood our relationship to god that was when your first baby was born yeah and and you're

00:58:07.780 like oh that's how god loves me well your kids haven't had kids yet they don't know that they

00:58:13.180 don't understand the nature of of of mystical you know love that's unencumbered by outside values that

00:58:19.920 you are going to love them forever they don't know that you know there's a lot of other interesting

00:58:24.200 things that we forget as parents you know i have this is there's some very interesting data that

00:58:28.580 show for example that because i talk to people who fret a lot you know how do i'm christian people

00:58:33.620 jewish people muslim people they want their kids to grow up in the faith and they see all these kids

00:58:38.100 wandering away and and being miserable as a result they ask me they ask me a lot what's the number one

00:58:43.320 thing i can do and the number one thing that you can do to make sure your kids practice the faith

00:58:48.580 is see their dad practicing the faith yes and there's a reason for that as a little kid the

00:58:54.900 strongest human being you've ever seen in your life is your father i mean my dad i thought he was

00:58:59.760 like six foot two and i thought he could lift a house now my dad was a college professor so there

00:59:04.760 was not a lot of lifting going on but i didn't know that right and uh and i'm telling you here's the

00:59:11.220 deal my dad bent the knee to no man but my dad was on his knees saying his prayers with me at night

00:59:19.240 and it was on his knees on sunday and i saw that and had a big impact on me your kids learn that way

00:59:25.960 with the way that you love unconditionally the way that you worship with faith the way that you offer

00:59:31.000 up your own troubles and trials and put them at the foot of the cross the way that that you love your

00:59:36.660 wife unconditionally that's really what it's all about arthur i gotta put you on hold for about a

00:59:42.540 minute we're going to come back and uh make sure he's with us for the hour um i want to uh continue

00:59:48.200 our conversation because he i just interrupted him on his list of things that parents need to do

00:59:52.520 we'll get to that here in a second we are so jam-packed uh today also we had a conversation with

00:59:58.020 president trump about an hour ago you need to hear he made a lot of news in that hayden wrote in about

01:00:03.880 his experience with relief factory he said i've had five back surgeries and i've never never stopped

01:00:10.240 having back pain i heard about relief factor from some friends of mine who listen to the show decided

01:00:14.900 to give it a try after only a few weeks i was out of pain i was come i'm underlined completely out of

01:00:23.080 back pain and feeling good relief factor has lightened my life and reduced my pain thank you

01:00:30.420 three week quick start try it three weeks it's not working for you in three weeks probably not

01:00:35.520 going to work but try it for three weeks take it as directed relieffactor.com 800 the number four

01:00:41.840 relief 800 the number four relief relieffactor.com 10 seconds station id

01:00:46.520 arthur um um give me the the four pillars again it was faith it was work faith family

01:01:04.400 friends or community friends and work this is the thing and these are different ways that we love

01:01:12.840 you know the greeks the ancient greeks they had 11 words for love we have only one and it's very

01:01:20.000 desiccated you know it's kind of a it doesn't get to the point you know we have so we have this huge

01:01:25.760 repertoire of ways that we can love and be loved and this is the essence of it you know saint john

01:01:31.520 the apostle and his gospel he says like just remember that god is love you know saint augustine

01:01:38.460 when he was asked you know early on in the bible the whole idea that you know in deuteronomy where

01:01:43.200 the jews are enjoying to love the lord your god with all your soul and all your strength and all

01:01:48.720 your mind and all your means and jesus is asked what do i remember how do i do that he says love god and

01:01:54.660 love your neighbor and then saint augustine says if you can't even remember that just love and do what

01:02:00.580 you will that's why and that's he was interpreting saint john that god is love and then when i'm telling

01:02:08.100 you all of the problems in our society and i say this as a scientist i don't say this is just a

01:02:12.960 you know somebody who by the way it's yeah it's more valuable than my social my phd i'll tell you but

01:02:20.840 but this is the key thing to remember that love solves these problems and when we don't have love

01:02:27.880 in our society and our children are are being exposed to these forces that are antithetical to love that are

01:02:34.080 driving out love with fear because fear and love are opposite they're going to have these problems

01:02:39.140 and so are we okay arthur um hang on i want to go through your list of things that you think that

01:02:46.260 parents should know and do and we'll do that when we come back arthur brooks harvard uh kennedy

01:02:52.320 school professor and business school professor um talking about teens depression depression in our

01:02:59.160 our own selves and our society the glenn back program you find him at arthur brooks.com by the

01:03:05.120 way arthur brooks.com peggy wrote in about her dog's experience with rough green she says baxter

01:03:09.940 our newfoundland uh just turned 10 in november he was losing all interest in eating that would probably

01:03:15.900 be good with a newfoundland they're so huge anyway um he she said at my husband's suggestion we purchased

01:03:22.460 rough greens now he's eating his kibble with just the rough green sprinkled on it we've had a very

01:03:28.140 positive result in our dog and uh we um we want to thank you for rough greens well thank dennis black

01:03:37.060 he's a naturopathic doctor he's the one who came up with the vitamins minerals probiotics antioxidants

01:03:41.500 all the stuff your dog needs to be healthy and put it into this this rough greens uh and sprinkle it

01:03:49.200 on the food and he made it taste good it's almost like dog crack anybody who's had rough greens with

01:03:54.320 their dog if your dog loves it they love it rough greens.com slash beck just get the first bag free

01:04:20.640 code glenn to save more with arthur brooks coming up

01:04:23.440 welcome to the glenn beck program we're talking to uh arthur brooks who is a dear friend a man i

01:04:43.780 deeply deeply deeply admire he is a don't hold this against him a harvard kennedy school professor

01:04:50.300 business harvard business school professor as well um and he studies happiness uh he he has studied it

01:04:59.480 all over the world he's also um a student of the capitalist movement and and how capitalism or how

01:05:08.140 the free market is a better word when it's truly free leads to so much good he's really fascinating

01:05:15.100 uh to talk to and and to read um arthur we have 10 minutes and i i i want you to give the the things

01:05:26.160 that parents need to know um that you think are really important and maybe how we can even help

01:05:33.840 shore it up so our kids don't go through this but i but i also want to ask you a question and we can

01:05:39.400 deal with this any way you want you know there's a problem our youth everybody thinks that our youth is

01:05:45.680 awful um and i i don't think so i don't think they're weak i don't think they're awful i find them

01:05:52.580 curious i find them hungry um you know not all of them but but a lot of them and you know if you go back

01:06:00.100 in time my grandmother's parents were saying that ragtime or swing was really bad my dad you know

01:06:08.060 the big bands are really bad elvis is bad ozzy osborne is bad it's the end of our society

01:06:14.320 is this time different is facebook and cell phones is it just you know another kiss or uh ozzy osborne

01:06:26.280 or or is this one different this change different

01:06:32.120 are you there yeah something i don't know why we cut out here for a second so your question is

01:06:42.520 is this time different yes somehow different and the answer is no you're exactly right i mean you go

01:06:49.240 back to plato was complaining about kids these days jesus was talking about woe be unto this current

01:06:54.460 generation i mean look there's a there's trouble with the next generation that you know everybody

01:06:59.840 born between 1925 and 1945 they're called the silent generation right they were named that by the

01:07:06.220 people from what was called the greatest generation born between 1905 and 1925 by the way named by the

01:07:13.180 greatest generation themselves the greatest generation and they called the silent the silent because they

01:07:19.040 were a bunch of slackers right i mean it's like this is the most common thing people have problems

01:07:24.240 it's hard to be young it's hard to find your way your prefrontal cortex especially if you're a man

01:07:30.320 it's not entirely formed until you're 25 years old you feel lost you feel you know you're you're

01:07:36.420 rootless you don't exactly understand who you are you're trying to acquaint yourself with a sense of

01:07:41.060 self that's what it comes down to that's why we need families that's why we need faith and and the key

01:07:46.160 thing to keep to remember is basically this if we want a full-on comprehensive strategy on how to

01:07:50.440 protect our friends and look at what the threats are then we go back to the four pillars of you know

01:07:56.520 the happiness threat your happiness 401k plan which is faith family friends and work what are the big

01:08:03.280 threats for our young people today when it comes to faith the big threat is that whole families are 1.00

01:08:09.100 falling away from the faith and we're offering kids social movements and social justice and politics

01:08:14.680 which is which are zombie religions i got nothing against social movements i got nothing against social

01:08:20.100 justice they got nothing against politics you and i've done a lot of politics in our time but they

01:08:24.420 are not faith they're an inadequate substitute they're zombie religions the second thing is is 0.99

01:08:31.020 family life you know and family life is i mean it's it's critical except that we're telling kids that they

01:08:37.240 shouldn't get married until they're 30 that they should maybe not have kids because it's horrible for the 0.60

01:08:42.560 environment we're telling kids that that the most important thing that links them cosmically to other

01:08:48.540 people is like their demographic identity that is insanity that's false family life and it's 0.99

01:08:54.740 inadequate to them but they don't know why which doesn't give them substance friendship the threat

01:08:59.560 on that is social media no joke social media is is like a it's like radon gas it's going into every

01:09:05.860 nook and cranny of life and it's crowding out it's substituting for in-person relationships which is

01:09:11.380 i mean neurophysiologically it couldn't be clearer we crave a peptide a neuropeptide in the brain

01:09:17.140 called oxytocin it's what links us together and it's intensely pleasurable you get it from eye

01:09:22.660 contact and touch you don't get it from from social media social media is like the is like the burgers

01:09:28.700 and fries of social life it'll fill you up and and give you too many calories and it won't meet your

01:09:34.860 nutrient needs so you'll binge on it and actually even get lonelier and last but not least is work you

01:09:40.920 know we're moving away from meaningful work especially for young people it is insanity that we don't have

01:09:46.380 opportunities for young people to actually have real jobs where they can do things and and feel

01:09:51.280 fulfilled themselves this is what we need glendis with a full-on strategy real religion more family

01:09:57.940 real friends and actual work and this will take care of a multitude of problems if you were a

01:10:05.380 mom or dad like i was just recently and you your family is on fire and you feel very very alone

01:10:14.900 uh any advice directly to the parents that are either entering it now or deep into it

01:10:22.440 bring them closer anytime a kid is running away is in real real crisis don't let them run i mean it

01:10:30.720 just chase them down keep them close keep them with you this is the key thing that that a lot of

01:10:35.420 parents forget you know my kid is like he doesn't want to be with me and he's only hanging out with

01:10:40.620 this i'm going to give them space no no no no no no no no space more love less space is what it

01:10:46.520 comes down to and part of the reason for that is that that a lot of times we don't know what we

01:10:51.460 actually need their friends are not giving them the love that they actually seek the social media is

01:10:56.780 actually making things worse they're getting fired up at school to become culture warriors and to be

01:11:01.860 afraid of absolutely everything and the one thing that actually actually can count on is the love of

01:11:07.780 their parents pray together eat together say i love you every single night you know i know that's

01:11:13.480 hard for a lot there are a lot of people listening to us from minnesota you know that old joke glenn that

01:11:17.340 there's a man in minnesota who loved his wife so much that he almost told her

01:11:21.600 and i know it's hard for a lot of people but you got it you got to do this you've got to hold them

01:11:30.660 close and bring them closer and say i know you're suffering no matter what it is we're going to do this

01:11:36.080 together we're going to do this together yeah i will tell you that um

01:11:40.360 we're so blessed to have been open and honest with our kids about really everything um our whole

01:11:51.880 lives and we've never treated them like kids i mean you know you're going we're going to the white 0.96

01:11:57.900 house kids come on you're coming with and you will sit there and you will listen um and we've included

01:12:04.960 them on on everything that most people wouldn't and um we just are now seeing the payoff of that

01:12:14.000 um because we we worried you know what's going on in their life and everything else and when it really

01:12:21.140 mattered each of them came to us and they were the ones who told us and and to some degree knew that

01:12:30.780 it was okay i really feel for those parents who um who don't have that relationship because then

01:12:38.460 it's got to be doubly hard well parents make two big errors when it comes to the crisis in their

01:12:44.380 kids number one is that they'll give kids space when they say they want it and number two is that

01:12:49.620 they freak out nothing good ever happens for freaking out there's actually a whole believe it or not

01:12:54.460 whole psychological literature on how damaging it is to freak out people think you have to be

01:12:58.700 cathartic and express your anger and you know cry it out that's wrong you need to not freak out my

01:13:04.160 older brother had kids way younger than me i mean and and he's older than i am and i said give me one

01:13:09.300 piece of advice when my kids were born and he said just just don't freak out about what he says you'll

01:13:14.820 see you'll see and you know what's funny is you learn that when your child your first child falls down

01:13:22.120 and hurts themselves they first look to you and the first time my first child i was like oh my gosh

01:13:29.360 oh are you okay and they cried after the after the first child they would fall down i go who just

01:13:36.220 fell down i went boom and they'd laugh i mean they really look for they feed off of your reaction

01:13:44.900 yeah and if when it's something really dire like you're talking about with your kids

01:13:50.140 keep them close don't freak out if you need to cry cry with them yeah but do it but do the whole

01:13:56.800 thing together it's not this is it's not going to be the end of the world it's funny because you know

01:14:01.800 a lot of people listen to us have little kids the the problems that you're going to face even if it's

01:14:06.440 not your child is is is thinking about tremendous self-harm i mean i like i got a son who's a special

01:14:12.860 operations marine and you know i lay awake nights when he goes on field trips i mean it's just you

01:14:20.120 don't you don't know he's a scout sniper in the u.s marine corps he's 22 married his wife's having a

01:14:26.640 baby i mean it's like it's it these are thank god i mean thank god but these things are still

01:14:35.500 incredible worries this is the kind of sanctified suffering i'm talking about to put it all into

01:14:40.760 perspective and say we go through this together we get closer to each other we get closer to god

01:14:45.620 and we're certainly not going to offer this up on the altar of social media and inflammatory politics

01:16:57.460 the glenn back program

01:16:59.320 welcome to the glenn back program we're glad you're here uh there's a podcast that is coming

01:17:26.080 out tomorrow it's already out for blaze tv subscribers it is really good matthew lohmire

01:17:31.300 he is um a space force veteran uh and he started ringing the bell about the decaying situation at

01:17:41.800 the pentagon and uh he was fired for it uh luckily luckily he uh wrote a book uh called irresistible

01:17:52.000 revolution and it is the unmaking of the american american military and it is fascinating there's

01:17:58.500 already people that are bidding on uh i think documentary rights uh for the book and film

01:18:04.340 rights for the book it is it is an inside look of what's going on and why it's so dangerous but more

01:18:10.180 importantly he has answers on what to do to fix it um he is highly intelligent again he was the guy that

01:18:21.280 uh he was i think he was in charge of of uh finding any ballistic missile launches all around the world

01:18:29.440 his technology and space force was looking at the surface of the earth for temperature changes

01:18:36.200 that would mean somebody has launched okay uh and he talks about space force he talks about china and

01:18:44.800 the hypersonic missile with russia uh it is a fascinating fascinating conversation um about the

01:18:53.220 nordstrom pipeline and we even i did ask him about ufos i mean i can't you had to you know i have to

01:19:00.200 ask him about ufos you have to his answer was fascinating not the answer i thought i'd get

01:19:05.400 fascinating oh my gosh i sound like spock fascinating did you see too that there's a story today about how

01:19:12.820 china has this ability for a phantom space strike uh and so the idea would be basically it would china 0.77

01:19:20.340 would make it look like it was firing missiles at us and exactly how they do this it's a little bit

01:19:28.260 complicated um but they would require us then to to stop to fire intercepting uh missiles to stop

01:19:37.040 their payload of course there's no actual missiles coming so we would be weakening our defenses by

01:19:43.240 thinking we're fighting off a chinese assault or some assault that's coming and then we're much more 0.99

01:19:48.640 vulnerable because we've used up all of our defenses that's a that's a high level game i i gotta say

01:19:55.420 china may want to rethink that maybe they make it look like it's somebody else but it's like what if

01:19:58.940 we react a way they're not expecting i mean you don't like i feel like a lot of these things are

01:20:02.980 just like they don't they're not well thought out uh did did you know that russia i'm sorry china is 0.62

01:20:08.900 at the solar i'm sorry at the southern pole of the moon now in what's called i think the rim of light

01:20:16.380 because it's this deep crater and the sun never sets so it's always the rim is lit

01:20:24.000 apparently they're they're ready to make water and other things to be able to build a base they're way

01:20:33.280 ahead on certain things uh we we're not paying attention to space and uh china and russia

01:20:41.040 are and apparently they're what they have capabilities to do are beyond us they say

01:20:48.940 i'm not sure i believe that after talking to this guy who was you know in space force

01:20:55.420 he wouldn't tell me any of the you know i'm like come on come on really come on we have the aliens

01:21:00.020 right unburden yourself yeah unburden yourself he was like he's really honorable and he's like no but

01:21:04.860 i will tell you that uh probably in five or ten years you'll find out some of the things that

01:21:10.080 they were doing and we are currently doing and he said it will blow you away okay maybe literally

01:21:16.380 come on maybe literally we may all get blown away by this all right come on come on you can break

01:21:21.160 anyway uh blaze tv.com slash glenn you can join us and get that podcast or wherever you get your

01:21:28.700 podcasts or on my youtube channel youtube.com slash glenn beck

01:21:33.920 we got no room to compromise

01:21:52.520 we gotta stand together it's the course of life

01:21:58.580 what you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment

01:22:17.400 this is the glenn beck program

01:22:22.360 uh i am going to share with you um a few details on something that i believe

01:22:31.640 is treasonous uh it is an intentional destruction of the united states and it is using your tax dollars

01:22:42.860 now i'll give you a little bit of this we're doing a huge special on it in a couple of weeks so we're

01:22:49.180 still in the midst of all the research but i'm not alone in this uh there's already a couple of states

01:22:56.380 that are moving to stop this i'll explain it all to you and take you to one of the states that is

01:23:03.240 trying to stop it right now we begin in 60 seconds let me talk to you about preserving history this is

01:23:11.800 something that i am passionate about uh but preserving not just american history you know

01:23:19.000 from the famous side and the big events but saving your history saving the history that you're living

01:23:26.600 right now all the pictures that you take all of the all of the film footage that you have the vcrs the

01:23:35.020 you know cd roms all the stuff that you have had in the past they're all going to fade anything that

01:23:44.060 you have from the 90s the do i even need to say the 70s all of that stuff is really got about a 20

01:23:53.480 year shelf life and then it just starts to decay please you have to preserve your history as a family

01:24:01.360 and legacy box is the best way i found to do this legacybox.com slash beck you can save 50 percent

01:24:09.540 right now on a legacy box you just take all of the old films and slides and tapes and whatever you got

01:24:15.440 put them in a box they uh digitize everything they send you the originals back plus a thumb drive or

01:24:23.520 it's up on a cloud or however you want it delivered all of it is preserved legacybox.com

01:24:30.920 slash beck you'll get 50 off if you order right now legacybox.com slash beck all right i told you

01:24:40.020 oh last what was it a year and a half ago no a year ago um when they couldn't pass the build back

01:24:48.140 better bill i said please call your senator and your congressman and do not do not let them pass

01:24:57.140 another bill because what they're going to do is take the build back better bill and break it up

01:25:03.560 and put it into whatever it is they're passing the let's save puppy dogs bill well it wasn't the let's

01:25:10.700 save puppy dogs bill it was the inflation reduction act which has very little to do with in uh reducing

01:25:20.640 inflation in fact they are all on the record now at the wef um when they're speaking to their own

01:25:28.100 crazy constituents that this is a climate bill now here's i'm going to give you just pieces of this

01:25:36.280 they've broken it up and the build back better bill and they've put pieces all over the administrative

01:25:44.560 state so they're now starting to put all these pieces back together to assemble a machine

01:25:51.020 that destroys us and one of the things they are trying to do is to destroy any gas or coal-fired

01:26:00.440 power plant and they are offering these companies massive incentives like 150 percent of your profit

01:26:10.900 to shut the plant down we'll give you that profit for the next 10 years and you don't have to do

01:26:17.140 anything what do you think businesses are going to do okay how many are going to say no i'm going to

01:26:24.060 fight the government on this and uh you know maybe i'll be profitable no they'll shut it down and then

01:26:30.660 what happens they don't get the money until that plant is shut down and sold off well you're starting

01:26:39.100 to see these power plants being sold off for scrap the problem with this is if this doesn't work

01:26:48.960 it will take you a decade at least just to rebuild what we have online right now they're destroying

01:26:58.360 all of it now there is there are a couple of states but the one that's really leading this

01:27:05.260 right now uh is utah because utah is the one uh that makes all of the california electricity

01:27:13.400 um they make a lot of electricity from uh all over the west but they they also have a uh

01:27:22.140 kind of a public private partnership i think kind of like disney had with florida their power plant

01:27:29.560 uh is is uh in a partnership with the state and the state needs to now protect against what they may be

01:27:41.620 doing i think i have this that part of it right senator darren owens um he grew up in the sawmills and

01:27:50.620 small ranch uh in the uh mountains of arizona and he is now a republican state senator for utah and he is

01:28:02.900 trying to fight uh the the outside forces and the government forces trying to just destroy our energy

01:28:11.440 supply darren welcome thank you glenn oh boy are you spot on on this topic i was hoping you were gonna say

01:28:19.780 i was wrong on some of that i wish i could say that and it is treasonous um and it's not it didn't

01:28:27.160 happen yesterday though this is start this has been 30 years in the making um this public private

01:28:33.860 partnership with utah but but then they start to merge away from any agreements with the state like

01:28:39.860 using our coal resources and we're watching uh 3 000 jobs disappear and uh yeah just build back better

01:28:48.900 is build back with nothing correct that the plant that they it's still uh in the works we don't know

01:28:56.000 that it's going to work for sure but they're moving and to a plant that has two-thirds less the capacity

01:29:01.480 of generation and we are saying as a state you're going to leave that coal unit up just because of

01:29:07.440 what you just said what if it doesn't work right then we can't spend the time to rebuild this so

01:29:13.860 we have just brokered a deal um i'm running a bill today and it's been a hot topic for the past few

01:29:21.220 days but the we're going to make sure that since they have been part of our state political subdivision

01:29:27.880 status um there's an agreement that that plant is going to be standing and operable okay so do you

01:29:34.740 have the votes for it we have the votes for it um we have actually even a kind of an agreement last

01:29:43.820 year we had to really start peeling back like florida did taking back some of the good amazing

01:29:51.340 benefits that we had given them um and you don't see it and we're just a citizen legislature i'm a

01:29:58.560 school counselor and teacher so but they do this full time and they had been lobbying legislation

01:30:05.860 so over time they had been kind of given themselves eminent domain removal from open and public meetings

01:30:13.460 act they weren't they were exempt from state procurement law and the scary thing is they had

01:30:19.040 made this um thing called segmenting where they could clone themselves so any international company that

01:30:24.880 came in and landed on that site with them they could create another they would all have these

01:30:29.820 same benefits oh my gosh you've you've pulled all that back last year yep just like florida we were

01:30:37.120 lucky to see it i mean we were on a small dimension of what florida did but we got all that pulled back

01:30:42.100 we went five for five bills last year and this one this year on our energy policy is is good um we're

01:30:49.340 going to keep the plant standing because of what you're saying right so so darren can explain to

01:30:54.520 people what what it means when you say they're moving to a plant that has two-thirds uh the

01:31:01.260 capacity right or down two-thirds which is it you lose a third 1800 1800 megawatts is the output of

01:31:09.020 the current coal-fired plant okay and it's reliable it is the it's a machine it is reliable

01:31:14.740 and uh base load it can push that power to california but they're the new plant that they're building

01:31:21.360 right adjacent to it is 100 840 megawatts so they're coming down from 1800 to 840 how is that

01:31:29.220 i mean that's not even logical that you think that that could that would be a good thing um it's not

01:31:35.720 we're doubling in population in utah and we're gonna we're gonna cut our capacity to produce power

01:31:42.040 so you they have this old power plant and instead of keeping it as a standby or anything else

01:31:49.840 they're being incentivized to sell it off or sell it for scrap correct spot on their plan was to tear

01:31:58.900 it down immediately because the epa the federal overreaches the boogeyman is saying you will shut

01:32:05.640 you down right now if you don't have a plan to tear that down immediately um what you were saying

01:32:12.480 is you started the show incentivize also yeah shut it down you get incentivization for 10 years

01:32:18.520 it's happening it is so bad okay so the bill that goes through today um what exactly does it do

01:32:28.920 okay yeah good test it it it says that you are you're not going to sell off any of these assets

01:32:37.080 of the plant you're going to leave them whole and you're going to give notice to the state if

01:32:42.140 and when they they're going to have to move a few of the parts over to as they go to this new gas hydrogen

01:32:47.260 plant and unproven by the way but uh even the la times has called it that but they they'll move a few

01:32:56.500 parts over but they have to leave the plant standing and then uh when they walk away because

01:33:00.560 it belongs to the state of utah doesn't have to be eminent domain wait wait gas hydrogen plant

01:33:05.400 are they making hydrogen or are they burning hydrogen what is what are they doing my word

01:33:11.000 um i'm sorry yeah they planned to use electrolysis and break up utah our our scarcest water we're the

01:33:18.300 second dry state in the nation they bought um 45 000 acre feet of water back in the day when they

01:33:23.780 are going to put up four plant four coal units they only put up two and they're going to start

01:33:28.560 breaking that water up which takes two and a half times the power to do what to make i know it's crazy

01:33:34.640 if you have that power why don't you sell it on the grid see this is another thing that i believe is in

01:33:39.200 the inflation reduction act if you make uh hydrogen no matter how it's being done if you make hydrogen

01:33:46.240 you get subsidies for that so that's right right so there even if it takes twice the amount of

01:33:54.640 electricity to make the the uh hydrogen you get incentivized and paid by the united states

01:34:03.040 government we're going to be powerless and broke by the end of this thing which we're manufacturing a

01:34:12.940 crisis and and and it wasn't it james madison who said crisis is a rallying cry of the tyrant

01:34:20.200 and yep but that's what they're manufacturing so that yeah it's it's troubling uh darren thank you

01:34:27.260 so much are you guys working with other states to get on to get in on this to make sure that other

01:34:32.800 states are aware we haven't we've just been applauding florida what they've been doing and

01:34:37.840 um tan on our own right now okay you inspired us when you came and visited our legislature last

01:34:43.140 month glenn thanks for doing that thank you thank you darren i appreciate it um really great to talk

01:34:48.340 to you and and and keep up the good work and we'll be watching that today um please okay please call your

01:34:54.500 your state senator if you're in utah and tell them you want this bill to pass that you you heard with

01:35:01.920 darren owens today you demand that that bill is passed and i'm telling you this in a couple of

01:35:08.400 weeks i'm going to give you all of the details on this when you see what they have done uh it is

01:35:16.220 it is anti-america and they are going to destroy us and we're paying for it but you can stop it in 0.94

01:35:27.120 your own state if you know about it so please prepare yourself come with a notebook on that uh

01:35:35.260 that special um because it is it's the end of the power grid as you know it if we don't stop it

01:35:44.860 state by state back in just a minute oh man when was the last time you know i i found this out a

01:35:53.520 couple weekends ago somebody came to my house and gave me a download of it and i'm like why why

01:35:59.520 can't i just i mean it's a saturday can't we just relax oh it's so bad um the last time when was

01:36:08.460 the last time that you got as good or even better service from a competing product for cheaper

01:36:15.580 you don't see that every day especially in phone cell service everybody's trying to rip you off and

01:36:21.260 they've all got all kinds of fees that they tack on look at your bill and look how many fees there

01:36:27.520 are and how much you're paying then i want you to call patriot mobile and see how much you'll be

01:36:31.900 paying for the same cell service if not better you'll have better customer service for sure you'll

01:36:36.900 have the same coverage um and you'll be working with a team that is not trying to hijack you uh and

01:36:44.500 your wallet and not supporting causes that are destroying our country like the big three are

01:36:50.920 would you please consider today joining patriot mobile.com slash beck patriot mobile.com slash beck

01:37:20.820 10 seconds station id

01:37:21.820 look i have said forever hydrogen is the solution but if you look at what just happened with the train

01:37:41.920 you you you're moving liquid hydrogen in what on drain tracks you're moving hydrogen in what a pipeline

01:37:55.060 that you're going to have to cross all kinds of areas to be able to deliver that it hydrogen is the

01:38:03.740 answer but you can't just make hydrogen because it's you're using more power to

01:38:11.900 make it then it will generate and if you're making it someplace someplace else and you need to get it

01:38:20.460 out to other places how are you going to do that and the build back better i'm sorry the inflation

01:38:28.260 reduction act is all about that it's all about that and they know there's no current way to make

01:38:36.300 hydrogen cheaper and um and effective using less energy uh than what you'd get from hydrogen

01:38:44.880 it's just it's this is this is nonsense and did you know your tax dollars are going to uh

01:38:53.060 to pay for other people all around the world to shut down their power plants

01:38:57.780 get off of coal get you know make some hydrogen

01:39:01.780 power is civilization it is that's what it is

01:39:05.920 i mean there's a lot of other things that go into it but like

01:39:09.360 that's basically the main component that separates us from

01:39:13.580 our ancestors who

01:39:15.680 struggled to get to live past 35

01:39:19.480 correct right like it's such a

01:39:21.680 it's it's the ingredient so to sit here and try to dismantle it all across the world when we still

01:39:28.220 have multiple billions of people living in poverty

01:39:31.900 is is not just wrong it's evil it is evil it really is evil it's malthusian yeah listen to this

01:39:40.800 this comes from the university of leeds they've just published a study that they've given to all the

01:39:46.020 governments that they say rationing policies similar to those imposed during world war one

01:39:52.360 and world war two will help our nation states reduce emissions rapidly and fairly they say rationing

01:40:01.600 has been neglected as a viable policy option for mitigating climate change um rationing could help

01:40:09.060 states reduce emissions rapidly and fairly our arguments in this paper draw on economic analysis

01:40:13.660 and historic research into the rationing in the uk during and after the two world wars highlighting

01:40:20.560 success stories what is what are they doing they're creating scarcity because they know if they told you

01:40:28.220 this out front look we're gonna have to ration just for the planet we would all say the hell we will

01:40:34.420 let's invent our way out of this but they don't want that to happen and so they'll create scarcity

01:40:43.200 which will mean you'll have to ration so whether it is planned rationing like they're coming out in

01:40:50.340 england and saying we need to do or they know you won't do that so we'll just create scarcity

01:40:59.140 that's what's happening and it's all been passed in the inflation reduction act i hate it when i'm right

01:41:10.860 i hate it there are things that i guess on and there are things that i know and and i all i don't want to 0.60

01:41:22.500 be right on any of these things but you can blame the people like romney or what whoever else

01:41:30.780 any republican that voted for the inflation reduction act yeah i just wish mitch romney was coming up for a

01:41:38.060 potential election that maybe he could be voted out in a primary conservative candidate when is that

01:41:42.540 coming up is it coming up soon is it 2024 2024 okay we should really do that then yeah that that's that's

01:41:48.780 who did this that's who did this and they pass these giant bills nobody knows and they break it all up

01:41:58.060 mark my words mark my words mark my words the usda the the farmer and food people

01:42:08.500 guarantee you they're gonna have a part guarantee you the defense department has a part guarantee you

01:42:18.220 department of education has a part and it was all broken up in a bill that nobody reads and nobody

01:42:24.900 could understand anyway because it's 3 000 pages and you get it the night before and that machine

01:42:31.300 is in yeah and i mean romney didn't vote for the inflation reduction act itself but he did vote for

01:42:38.640 several other quote-unquote bipartisan bills that contained elements that were closely related to what

01:42:45.520 they proposed in build back better they have this is what they do yeah they have the machine it hasn't

01:42:50.520 been assembled and fully turned on yet but parts of it are being turned on now and honestly i really

01:42:56.880 believe it's treasonous it's treason what they're doing okay let's go to bill o'reilly here in just a second

01:44:31.580 bill o'reilly is next

01:44:33.020 welcome to the glenn beck program we have mr bill o'reilly who is here to talk to us about the biggest

01:44:49.520 news of the week hello bill how are you what kind of music is that you know i mean it sounds like some

01:44:56.420 kind of zombie music you know it is i'm being chased well because it's kind of like uh you know

01:45:02.700 dawn of the dead uh zombies it's kind of like you know we've we look at you it's spooky music

01:45:09.400 torn pants and and maybe i may be too frightened to do this interview i know okay so uh biggest story

01:45:16.940 of the week okay uh obviously the war in ukraine one year anniversary um biden going there it's a huge

01:45:24.180 story and then the destruction uh self-destruction of pete buddha judge his um national political

01:45:32.140 career is over so we have one domestic major story and one foreign let's say so hang on just a second 1.00

01:45:39.180 let's start with the pete buddha judge you think that it is destroyed i think he is such the idiot 0.99

01:45:46.740 uh and so incompetent uh and so incompetent that that's who those in power look to run i think i think 0.99

01:45:54.580 the democrats are looking at it going well he's qualified beck i will submit to you that there is not

01:46:01.940 one person listening to us right now all the millions of people yeah tuned into back right not

01:46:09.800 one would cast a ballot for pete buddha judge or anything i hope you're right but i can't count on

01:46:18.460 anything i've been wrong no i'm never wrong i know he's done and i'll tell you why it's very simple

01:46:25.140 um americans have suffered at the hands of the airlines for two years he's the secretary of

01:46:32.280 transportation has done bupkis nothing doesn't care you can be you know your baggage can wind

01:46:39.740 up in bangladesh you could be sleeping in the airport for four days and the federal government

01:46:46.080 with oversight over the airlines does nothing that's number one so people already uh despise

01:46:54.620 him three weeks to go to a toxic train crash and and really only went because trump made him look so

01:47:02.560 bad yeah well i think the biden people were uh gonna order him to go anyway but they sped it up

01:47:09.300 but then the question becomes what the deuce does he do all day what is he doing this isn't like

01:47:18.740 doing a talk show for three hours every day okay who to judge he sits there at his little desk

01:47:27.660 right well i need some personal time yeah you know what i i mean enough enough i was i was

01:47:34.500 back to indiana please i was i'm fascinated by the story about personal time because that became the

01:47:41.120 story but the part of that interview with that daily caller person that was walking alongside a

01:47:47.560 buddha judge at night and when he said the last thing he said was may i have a picture of you and

01:47:54.040 he took a picture of the journalist and my question is why what was it he wanted and i pointed that out

01:48:02.480 and i think yesterday they somebody in the press asked him why did you want that picture what are

01:48:07.700 you doing with that picture and they wouldn't answer i believe it was just uh an attempt to be

01:48:13.860 charming or to throw her off or whatever it may be i don't think there's any sinister motive i don't

01:48:19.820 think the guy thinks fast enough for that i remember when i was when i was young and naive

01:48:25.040 you remember when you were young and naive okay that was three days ago all right all right uh all

01:48:34.580 right so now let's go to uh zelinski and the one-year anniversary today right so i mean this is a

01:48:43.960 situation that uh is being exploited by some in the media which torques me off because this is very

01:48:52.460 dangerous extremely dangerous particularly with china you know on the on the uh out uh skirts of 1.00

01:48:59.300 this story so i brought a guy uh this week who i think is the best expert of russia china in

01:49:05.360 the country his name is dr graham allison he's uh a harvard guy was the dean of the kennedy school

01:49:13.180 when i attended there i've known him for 30 years and he still speaks to me kind of like you back

01:49:17.860 you know you know if you're so very rare right yeah you know so anyway allison comes on and he is

01:49:23.520 he's an intellectual guy he's not you know a pie thrower and he's basically saying look this it's a

01:49:32.440 very dangerous place the world is a dangerous place and simplistic solutions for exploiting this

01:49:40.320 horrible tragedy for political gain is wrong and you have to be methodical and patient

01:49:47.560 and play the chess game and hope that putin just self-destructs which is possible i mean you got

01:49:57.140 a thousand casualties a day going back to russia dead and wounded a thousand all right and now they're

01:50:04.480 going to throw all of these untrained conscripts against hardened motivated ukraine fighters and you 0.57

01:50:12.920 know that it's going to be 10 to 1 casualties against the russians so you know you you have to

01:50:21.600 hold on here and now we got she going in april it looks like to moscow i don't think china is going 0.76

01:50:29.920 to help them out militarily because then sanctions will be slapped on china but this is the highest level

01:50:36.720 and here's what really worries me biden is not competent to handle this it's not that he did

01:50:43.820 anything wrong and i and i supported his trip to uh ukraine and poland because that raises the morale

01:50:52.800 in europe that's what that was all about it wasn't about the united states it was we got favorable

01:50:59.400 coverage the united states for one of the few times he goes in and we need europe to back ukraine

01:51:06.460 that's what that was all about okay but in the larger uh picture i mean joe biden he has no

01:51:14.600 capacity to understand the subtleties of this danger emanating from russia and china

01:51:21.420 are you how concerned are you that this is leading us in to or away from a proxy war and much closer

01:51:32.280 into a uh a war with with russia and china and and uh the united states kind of at each other's

01:51:41.040 throats well you know i'm not worried that there's going to be a shoot war at this point okay i don't

01:51:48.820 see the flash point that would lead to that and people say what about the money yeah i mean it's

01:51:54.120 ridiculous that we have to spend 150 billion dollars you know to send to ukraine but it will 1.00

01:52:03.120 be 10 times more if putin then would win that and then pick off belarus and moldova and you know 0.59

01:52:11.560 because he's not going to stop it's not like putin's going to go okay i got ukraine now i'm happy and i'm

01:52:15.900 not going to cause any more trouble two days ago i talked about this nobody nobody seems to care about

01:52:20.780 this for some reason he just annexed moldova yeah i but he didn't physically annex them because

01:52:28.560 he he doesn't have the troops to occupy it correct but he did annex it he just said look i'm taking

01:52:34.680 moldova but americans don't understand this because a it's far away b whatever the media reports

01:52:44.220 now the american people don't believe i mean we're in a place in history where the major corporate

01:52:52.600 media says stuff and most americans don't believe it yeah i know i know i mean but wait a minute so

01:52:59.500 with with moldova though the problem is as i pointed out earlier today the problem is 800 000

01:53:06.260 moldovians have dual citizenship as nato citizens so if something does go down there would that

01:53:15.260 could that be used i hope so i could he doesn't have he doesn't have the logistical capacity if

01:53:22.040 you look at the map no i know it's landlocked i know right so he can't the supply lines now from

01:53:28.800 russia into ukraine are uh dubious to say the least i mean this guy putin he's in military trouble

01:53:38.640 and that's why i'm i i say to my audience and everyone else hold on okay this is not going to

01:53:46.220 get better for him it's going to deteriorate the only people that could save him would be the chinese 1.00

01:53:52.260 if the chinese come in and say yeah we're going to give you all the ammunition and arms you want 1.00

01:53:56.020 that would be a game breaker that okay i don't think they're going to do it because that would

01:54:02.400 destroy the chinese economy all right let me ask you one one more question and that's on china 1.00

01:54:06.860 we know that you know this chinese balloon came across joe biden said we think it's a weather balloon

01:54:12.520 we're not really sure what it is yada yada yada right um we now know we found out i think either at

01:54:18.060 the beginning of the week or in the end of last week that the pentagon had been tracking that since

01:54:23.460 its launch in china okay so they knew all about it now we find out yesterday that a u2 spy plane

01:54:31.560 took high definition photos of the payload it was the size of three school buses it was navigating

01:54:40.620 um controlled navigation powered by satellite i mean sorry a solar array it had cameras satellite

01:54:48.380 uh response antennas and it navigated over all of our missile sites and then over strategic air

01:54:57.480 command what i mean bill they lied and lied and lied what does that mean it means they don't know what

01:55:07.520 they're doing and that that was my point about the big picture with putin you got a president who

01:55:13.200 doesn't know what he's doing and then you know the balloon thing does go into the secretary of

01:55:19.740 transportation buddha judge says you know his latest pronouncement was can i get a ride in the balloon

01:55:24.820 and that's not you know no it's it's already destroyed we're dealing with incompetence 0.99

01:55:31.300 in washington dc at a frightening frightening level i mean i think it is run by imbeciles it is run 0.97

01:55:40.700 by incompetence but there is strategy somewhere that inflation reduction act it is it's brilliantly 0.96

01:55:50.420 written because it has pieces of stuff all through it that have not been put together yet so somebody

01:55:57.720 is planning and plotting and it's not good yeah i mean if if the democrats win again in 24 you know

01:56:05.720 i'm looking at property in the bahamas so uh it's i can't imagine that what happened by the way

01:56:12.740 i just can't imagine that the american people would be foolish enough to cast a vote for any democrat

01:56:18.580 laurie lightfoot's going to get booted on tuesday all right kim gardner in st louis the da's got fired 1.00

01:56:25.460 yesterday that was great thank you to the attorney general there right and you're seeing now this

01:56:31.680 backlash coming fairly aggressively against these anti-american people who want to break our society

01:56:39.840 apart so they can put it back together again in the vision of bernie sanders i mean that's what this

01:56:46.140 is all about and and so americans have got to kind of wise up but the problem is they can't put on the

01:56:53.820 television set and get any information yeah i mean because the information is all skewed toward helping

01:57:02.400 the biden administration and it's also not just all uh skewed it's talking about the wrong things

01:57:11.560 it's not we are not talking about what does this war mean should we be even in there you know you

01:57:20.400 remember the days bill it weren't that long ago that we would debate things like this on the floor

01:57:26.060 of the house nobody's debating it if you go to billoreilly.com and you punch up dr graham allison

01:57:32.140 you'll see the best i think uh overall assessment of what's happening now i have a question for you do

01:57:38.140 we have time for that idea uh we've got about uh 45 seconds to a minute okay do you think that uh all

01:57:44.980 those revelations against our alma mater fox news is gonna you know have a long-term effect on our

01:57:50.660 organization what is what are the revelations i don't know if i've heard them no yes you have i mean

01:57:55.740 the uh reporting on uh on the election fraud oh okay um i you know i i i don't know i think all of

01:58:06.660 that stuff's done anyway bill i think it's just nails in a coffin over and over and over again what if

01:58:13.060 they lose a billion dollars in the lawsuit that begins in april in delaware uh yeah i think that

01:58:19.520 is it's going to have a real big effect but i i think it'll lose i don't know do you i think they

01:58:26.780 could i think they definitely could no doubt and i think they may settle because you know the

01:58:33.500 principals and out of corporation they don't want to be going to delaware sitting in there

01:58:36.940 having to testify i know i know let's talk about that next week can we okay let's remind me of that

01:58:43.040 thanks so much bill talk to you right all right uh let me tell you about pre-born um my wife and

01:59:02.200 clinics um places where people who are thinking about you know abortion or just you know i'm pregnant and i

01:59:08.820 need help uh they go to these clinics they are so great it's so wonderful and uh so positive and they

01:59:17.180 give the moms ultrasounds if they are considering an abortion they give them an ultrasound and the mom 0.98

01:59:24.420 is much more likely to pick life if she's seen the baby and heard the heartbeat um and their their 0.99

02:00:16.600 the glenn back program

02:00:20.680 uh we've been talking about um moldova here uh today with bill o'reilly in an hour number one

02:00:41.900 uh just got a note in from dave he said after serving in the region glenn i appreciate you

02:00:46.080 drawing attention to moldova um and how it could become a flashpoint i don't think the weapons depot

02:00:52.680 you mentioned has the production capacity for usable modern ammo but no one really knows how unstable

02:00:58.520 the site is because the russians who control it will not let inspectors in oh good okay so that's

02:01:03.560 great the worst part this is just one of many things that could go wrong and spiral out of control

02:01:08.340 and i don't think anyone on the left or the right thinks the leadership here can handle that

02:01:12.920 thanks for making people aware dave dave thank you for uh uh thank you for that i am i am concerned

02:01:20.100 um about the lid i've told you for years world war three is going to happen most likely because of an

02:01:29.540 incident or a place or a person you've never heard of point to moldova on a map america

02:01:37.520 uh and i'm not saying that is the flashpoint it's just one of the many flashpoints that can push us
