00:01:47.980 iran is in shambles there's news on chick-fil-a that i don't understand what the president did

00:01:55.420 yesterday with israel made the head explode of everybody at the state department i guarantee 0.85

00:02:01.680 and um the guy who's probably had the worst year beside donald trump the worst year of all eric swalwell

00:02:10.660 the farts real apparently i this is the glenbeck program

00:02:17.380 all right so you're sitting at a stoplight minding your own business when suddenly a cold

00:02:23.560 chill goes down your spine terror sinks in as you realize i've forgotten something terribly important

00:02:29.420 there's something absolutely critical about today what is it it's my wife's birthday that's my

00:02:34.680 anniversary no slow roll your stomach turns it's the day that your warranty on your car expires

00:02:44.940 your hands begin to shake sure enough you look between them at the dashboard the check engine

00:03:49.140 first let me give you a uh let me give you an update on a couple of things the impeachment inquiry

00:03:54.240 is happening today an nsc uh official uh pence uh an aide to pence is going to also testify we're

00:04:01.900 going to have you know mr googly eyes uh open it up and he'll probably be saying some really important

00:04:07.760 stuff like blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah but we have first jennifer williams she's going to 1.00

00:04:13.860 be testifying she's state department aide with um uh mike pence she has already testified behind

00:04:20.600 closed doors transcript of her session was released on saturday she was one that was on the phone call

00:04:27.260 she listened in on july 25th and uh said the mention of these specific investigations during the trump

00:04:34.300 zelinski phone call seemed unusual as compared to other discussions with foreign leaders she also

00:04:40.800 testified about another phone call on september 18th between mike pence and zelinski this call was after

00:04:47.460 the security uh was delivered to the ukraine the committee asked her if pence gave zelinski any

00:04:52.920 advice how to approach trump at the u.n general assembly meeting she said pence told zelinski president

00:04:57.740 trump would be eager uh about president zelinski's progress in his reform agenda williams then asked

00:05:03.860 what pence meant by reform agenda and she said the anti-corruption reforms on reforming the judiciary

00:05:10.340 and the legislative action and his administration you know the things that he was doing he he said he she

00:05:16.480 he that's you're meaning mike pence said this uh yeah she said that mike pence said okay was talking

00:05:23.820 about an anti anti-corruption reform yeah see mike is doing this the right way yeah right like he's not

00:05:32.620 he's not blurting out names he's being very careful with his language and it'll be surprising that if in

00:05:39.820 the end of this we find that mike pence has said anything on the record to anybody about anything

00:05:44.720 right that's what that's the way it's the way you would expect this to go down in the in the movie

00:05:50.440 right right like if this is the movie there's some guy like mike pence who says everything perfectly and

00:05:56.240 never gets in trouble and that's exactly what you'd expect out of pence no but there's never any guy

00:06:00.200 like donald trump in the movie there's never like the mob boss who's like you know what i say we kill

00:06:05.740 them all right now and i'm on the record rudy go on tv and say that's that doesn't it doesn't happen

00:06:12.880 that way no it makes it much more fun yeah this way but it doesn't but they were on tv saying it i

00:06:18.620 know that's showing maybe that they didn't think there was something wrong with this right probably

00:06:22.280 indicating when you when you send out your personal attorney to go on television and tell everybody

00:06:26.620 you're going to ukraine to look into the the obviously uh i mean to me obvious uh hint of

00:06:34.120 corruption that's going on with the bidens and ukraine right the thing that you know places like the new

00:06:40.160 york times had already reported on in depth you know i it does seem like maybe it was something he

00:06:47.400 wanted you to know about i don't know right yeah right you know usually you hide bribery you know

00:06:52.880 usually you're like usually the way you go let's keep this between ourselves it's not like you go

00:06:58.400 on tv and announce it before you do it hey i just want you to know uh i sent rudy giuliani over uh because

00:07:04.980 i'm having him look into some things uh and of course we're gonna bribe and and uh and just kind of do

00:07:11.220 all kinds of really bad things we probably should hide that from you and the press but we decided just to

00:07:16.960 be up front about it it's not not even possible okay a couple of other stories first of all

00:07:22.540 also related to the impeachment remember what this impeachment is really all about what is it

00:07:29.680 really all about it's not even about the 2020 election it's about the deep state of the state

00:07:37.720 department that's what this is really all about the state department is really upset the president is

00:07:44.200 running a shadow uh policy how can the president run a shadow his administration is supposed to be 0.86

00:07:53.280 setting the policy so it's not a shadow policy unless you're so out of control and arrogant

00:08:00.980 that you actually think that your policy that you're the one setting policy well their argument

00:08:07.720 to be fair to play devil's advocate a little bit yes go ahead their argument is the policy didn't

00:08:15.160 change so they had us over there communicating the same policies to the same people and it would

00:08:22.440 the ukrainians kept coming back to us and saying what is going on you're telling me one thing and

00:08:26.700 i got rudy giuliani over here telling me something else yes because the president didn't trust

00:08:31.140 everybody else because as we found out from uh from rudy giuliani and he says he has five witnesses

00:08:39.020 ready to attest to this um that that the the um uh the embassy in ukraine was was known as hillary

00:08:49.660 clinton campaign headquarters it was jokingly called campaign headquarters so i mean if you don't trust it

00:08:56.960 you do you send somebody out and you're like hey listen uh don't necessarily we got some things going

00:09:02.800 on don't necessarily you report right directly to me and tell me what's going on that's what you do

00:09:08.520 yeah i mean i think a potentially better path there i mean remember nobody on earth wanted to be

00:09:14.520 secretary of state more than rudy giuliani i know i know i'm just trying to get to this point

00:09:19.340 this is a this is an argument between the state department saying that they are in charge yeah and

00:09:26.780 the white house saying they are in charge well yesterday mike pompeo came out and uh he and

00:09:33.920 the president have decided uh that uh the policy of the state department is wrong uh in regards to

00:09:41.580 um jerusalem and israel and so they've decided yeah you know the occupied territories we think they're

00:09:49.380 fine we think that's uh we don't think that's against international law we agree with uh the state of

00:09:56.380 israel they have every right to occupy that they're not actually occupying it it's a part of israel oh my

00:10:02.500 gosh that made everybody in the head in the state department from the old guard their head you could

00:10:07.860 hear i think that eric swalwell fart might have been the heads exploding across the street uh at the

00:10:15.680 state department that's it really is amazing i mean well timed well timed there yeah he's sending it's

00:10:22.640 interesting the way he's handling this because you know he's going right after him he's going right

00:10:27.540 after the intelligence he's going right after the state department it's probably caused him problems

00:10:32.380 but he doesn't seem to care about it nope nope he's just going for it and look this is of course the

00:10:36.120 right policy we should point out it is part of israel and it's not occupied territory and it's all state

00:10:41.280 department that has kept that at bay it's all state department like we all knew the capital of israel

00:10:46.680 was jerusalem and we all faked it for some reason and we all acted as if it was the state department

00:10:51.900 the state department said it was a bad idea and remember how it was going to make the entire

00:10:56.700 middle east explode when he changed that embassy uh that has not been the case i mean it's not it's

00:11:01.220 never pretty there i love this um but uh just love it's been positive i think yeah i think so too

00:11:06.540 okay so we have uh we have that going on eric shift is still eric schiff is still i don't know who

00:11:12.600 any of the people you're talking about are adam schiff is a person that's involved who did i say

00:11:16.860 you said eric shift okay i don't know who that person is and then you said eric schiff yeah he's

00:11:21.140 also not a person all right adam schiff is the adam schiff is the guy uh i just can't get past his eyes

00:11:26.740 they're a little spooky i think the trump nickname has worked on you you're to the point can you think

00:11:31.980 shifty shift shifty shift is his name uh but his name is shifty schiff or schiff but not shift

00:11:39.060 i know i i it's just in your head it's in my head and it's true it's a very accurate nickname it is

00:11:45.500 it is so anyway uh we have that coming on and when he stopped saying all of the important things that

00:11:50.660 he's saying now like this witness which is going to say something bad about donald trump is

00:11:58.740 unimpeachable well he's the perfect witness that's never done anything wrong in their lives they went

00:12:03.860 he played band that was the best clarinet player in his in his eighth grade okay soon as he stops

00:12:10.240 talking about that we'll we'll start to cover it now uh there is one thing that i don't believe i just

00:12:16.200 don't believe this is true that uh chick-fil-a has has gotten out of their relationships with uh the

00:12:27.820 salvation army and the fellowship of christian athletes because they're dropping their anti-lgbq

00:12:36.660 i square thing plus plus thank you uh they're dropping all of that uh now because of you know 0.96

00:12:46.740 they need the what the gay chicken money you want the gay chicken money everybody wants the gay chicken 0.98

00:12:51.280 money everybody's after that you gotta get everybody yeah right now popeye's is like oh 0.97

00:12:56.240 we almost had them the future of this economy is gay chicken there's no way this is true 1.00

00:13:02.720 i mean it's true it's true but there's no way this is this is being spun by the press in my opinion

00:13:09.200 we will find out this is being spun by the press to hurt chick-fil-a to make people like me now look

00:13:17.280 if it is if they're like we gotta have the gay chicken money i'm telling you right now we did 0.99

00:13:22.540 this whole god thing for a while we stood on our principles for a while but we're at the point where 0.72

00:13:28.280 we can dominate and put all chicken people out of business if we just get the gay chicken money and 1.00

00:13:34.320 we want to say officially marriage needs to be between a man and a man no intersex gender marriage 0.91

00:13:41.240 is weird in fact there is no such thing as gender no such thing these chickens are all genderless

00:13:48.680 chickens if that's what's happening then i'm really upset at chick-fil-a but i don't think so hard to

00:13:56.320 believe i mean we've had dan kathy on like the guy risked his entire business to make this moral stand

00:14:04.000 and now he's just like yeah who cares about the i need gay fried chicken money it's no give it to me 0.56

00:14:10.900 there's no way it doesn't seem like him at all no no the chick-fil-a has not really given their side

00:14:17.760 of the story the only thing they said is they had a multi-year agreement with the charities like

00:14:22.640 salvation army and that's come to an end and they're moving the money to other charities which they say

00:14:28.560 uh only it's going to be limited to three categories education homelessness and hunger

00:14:33.980 which seems like right in the wheelhouse of salvation army like it's kind of like a lot of

00:14:38.400 the stuff that they do homeless and hunger thing that is kind of and the christian athletes probably

00:14:42.800 has something to do with education i would assume too when it comes to uh it's probably related to

00:14:47.080 so i'm not really sure but there's no problem that doesn't mean that they had a problem or they were 0.70

00:14:51.660 changing their their they're suddenly going after the gay chicken money look gay people eat 0.98

00:14:58.020 chick-fil-a i i just have to tell you now social justice warriors maybe they don't

00:15:05.360 seems like they do it's like they've seen the numbers from everybody loves chick-fil-a everybody

00:15:11.640 it's jesus chicken if jesus would have if he didn't have fish if he only had two chickens

00:15:18.320 in that basket would have been 5 000 chick-fil-a sandwiches i'm telling you right now my the best

00:15:25.020 part about this one was when some nfl athlete was hit up by some social justice warrior uh on twitter

00:15:30.940 and was like look do you understand what chick-fil-a stands for because he had posted that he was eating

00:15:34.620 there like do you understand what the chick-fil-a stands for they stand against gay people and blah 0.98

00:15:38.780 all these things that aren't really true and then uh he just responded chicken too tasty and like

00:15:43.480 that's the greatest point of all time like that's the truth it's just that's the one thing we have

00:15:48.700 they've got disney they've got all the parks they've got they've got all the movie they have

00:15:53.480 everything this is all we have is the chicken people okay that's the only thing that we have

00:15:59.300 where where where social justice warriors and and freaks are just like i can't it's too good i can't not

00:16:06.760 eat it chicken too tasty right right uh we have devin nunez about to uh he's just starting to speak

00:16:12.200 here uh should we come to him here in a minute after our yeah let's do a quick one minute and then

00:16:16.260 we'll take him because 60 seconds away that means that adam schiff only has a little more to say

00:16:21.080 after that you know blah blah blah blah and then we'll uh we'll hear from our our first um first um

00:17:02.080 you know unexpected medical bill the urgent car repair the things in life that you just never

00:18:17.580 we break for 10 seconds station id

00:18:19.600 all right uh let's uh join just uh real quick um those questions start with what is the full

00:18:38.680 extent of the democrats prior coordination with the whistleblower and who else does the whistleblower

00:18:44.180 coordinate this effort with the media have fully accepted the democrats stunning reversal on the

00:18:50.640 need for the whistleblower to testify to this committee when the democrats were insist insisting

00:18:56.040 on his testimony the media wanted it too but things have changed since it became clear

00:19:02.780 the whistleblower would have to answer problematic questions that include these

00:19:08.660 what was the full extent of the whistleblower's prior coordination with chairman schiff his staff

00:19:14.740 and any other people he cooperated with while preparing the complaint i just don't see this

00:19:19.300 ending well for the what are the whistleblower's political biases and connections to democratic

00:19:23.720 politicians how does the whistleblower explain the inaccuracies in the complaint

00:19:29.740 what contact did the whistleblower have with the media which appears to be ongoing wow what are

00:19:39.160 the sources that's true information who else did he talk to and was the whistleblower prohibited by

00:19:45.640 law from receiving or conveying any of that information the media have joined the democrats in

00:19:53.400 dismissing the importance of cross-examining this crucial witness now that the whistleblower has

00:19:58.840 successfully kicked started just woke up he has disappeared from the story as if the democrats put

00:20:05.620 the whistleblower in their own witness protection program my second question what was the full extent of

00:20:14.600 ukraine's election meddling against the trump campaign in these depositions and hearings republicans

00:20:20.660 have cited numerous indications of ukraine meddling in the 2016 elections to oppose the trump campaign

00:20:27.140 many of these instances were reported including the posting of many primary source documents

00:20:33.920 by veteran investigative journalist john solomon since the democrats switched from russia to ukraine

00:20:40.880 for their impeachment crusade solomon's reporting on burisma hunter biden and ukraine election

00:20:47.840 meddling has become inconvenient for the democratic narrative and so the media is furiously smearing

00:20:53.860 and libeling solomon it's crazy that when here we had solomon on all these times and he was just like

00:20:59.260 given good reporting and now all of a sudden he's the focus of this impeachment hearing yeah it's incredible and

00:21:03.580 he's been on with us for over a year on this and been going back and forth he is such an honest guy he

00:21:10.080 really has done his reporting he's not some political hack he worked for the new york times and the

00:21:16.480 washington post and the associated press for 20 years and now they're just slaughtering him

00:21:22.640 so now that solomon's reporting is a problem for the democrats it's a problem for the media as well

00:21:28.480 amen like to submit for the record john solomon's october 31st story entitled debunking some of ukraine's

00:21:36.080 scandal myths about biden and election interference i encourage viewers today to read this story and draw

00:21:44.260 your own conclusions about the evidence solomon has gathered 2017 article

00:21:52.400 ask unanimous consent that we put this into the record mr chair without objection

00:21:56.760 all right now they're going to get to they're going to get to uh this next uh we're going to hear from

00:22:02.040 uh we're going to hear from several people today uh lieutenant uh colonel alexander vindman this is the guy

00:22:07.780 that we've already heard from somewhat in uh closed door testimony um he was told on july 10th that the

00:22:17.340 meeting with zelensky at the white house was conditioned on them opening an investigation into

00:22:22.120 the bidens he said the message was delivered to ukraine by gordon sondland uh sondland said he was

00:22:29.400 directed to deliver the message by mick volt mulvaney he also testified that rudy giuliani's involvement

00:22:35.740 undermined u.s government efforts to expand cooperation with ukraine well yeah i mean uh

00:22:43.400 if you saw the special last week uh you saw their operation in ukraine and it probably should have

00:22:49.700 been limited you're listening to glenn beck there's a reason we go to experts when we need something done

00:22:58.100 especially if that something is really important and buying or selling a home is one of those important

00:23:03.100 and indeed difficult decisions that you're going to have to make and that's why real estate agents i

00:23:07.840 trust is there to guide you every step of the way these are real real estate agents who have taken it

00:23:13.780 upon themselves to be the best in their field and to do business um their way and and my way really

00:23:22.120 these are the the top performers these are the people who are willing to go the extra mile

00:23:27.360 they're happy while they do it they love their job they love their clients they're the best

00:24:17.800 just a circle way all right welcome to the program uh we have now a a pence aide um and she is now

00:24:45.760 delivering her opening statement to the hearing let's listen in i also informed the nsc that the

00:24:52.180 vice president would not be attending so that it could identify a head of delegation to represent the

00:24:57.220 united states at president-elect zelensky's inauguration on july 3rd i learned that the office

00:25:04.520 of management and budget had placed a hold on a tranche of security assistance designated for ukraine

00:25:10.040 according to the information i received omb was reviewing whether the funding was aligned with

00:25:16.200 the administration's priorities i subsequently attended meetings of the policy coordination

00:25:21.500 committee where the hold on ukrainian security assistance was discussed during those meetings

00:25:27.240 representatives of the state and defense departments advocated that the hold should be

00:25:31.960 lifted and omb representatives reported that the white house chief of staff had directed that the hold

00:25:37.960 should remain in place on september 11th i learned that the hold on security assistance for ukraine

00:25:44.120 had been released i have never learned what prompted that decision on july 25th along with several of

00:25:51.800 my colleagues i listened to a call between president trump and president zelensky the content of which has

00:25:58.280 since been during my closed door deposition members of the committee asked about my personal views

00:26:03.880 and whether i had any concerns about the july 25th call as i testified then i found the july 25th phone

00:26:10.520 call unusual because in contrast to other presidential calls i had observed it involved discussion of what

00:26:16.840 appeared to be a domestic political matter after the july 25th call i provided an update in the vice

00:26:23.800 president's daily briefing book indicating that president trump had a call that day with president zelensky

00:26:30.120 a hard copy of the memorandum transcribing the call was also included in the book i do not know whether

00:26:36.120 the vice president reviewed my update or the transcript i did not discuss the july 25th call

00:26:41.880 with vice president or any of my colleagues in the office of the vice president or the nsc

00:26:48.200 on august 29th i learned that the vice president would be traveling to poland to meet with president

00:26:53.160 zelensky on september 1st at the september 1st meeting which i attended president zelensky asked

00:26:59.800 the vice president about news articles reporting a hold on u.s security assistance for ukraine the vice

00:27:06.040 president responded that ukraine had the united states unwavering support and promised to relay their

00:27:11.560 conversation to president trump that night during the september 1st meeting neither the vice president nor

00:27:18.120 president zelensky mentioned the specific investigations discussed during the july 25th phone call

00:27:26.200 thank you again for the opportunity to provide this statement i'd be happy to answer any questions

00:27:34.680 now we go to uh lieutenant colonel vinmin and his opening statement thank you for the opportunity to

00:27:39.800 address the house permanent select committee on intelligence with respect to the activities

00:27:44.200 relating to ukraine and my role in the events under investigation i've dedicated my entire

00:27:49.960 professional life to the united states of america for more than two decades it has been my honor to

00:27:55.080 serve as an officer united states army as an infantry officer i served multiple overseas tours including

00:28:00.600 south korea and germany and i was deployed to iraq for combat operations since 2008 i have been a foreign

00:28:07.560 area officer specializing in european and eurasian political military affairs i served in the united

00:28:13.000 states embassies in kiev ukraine and moscow russia in washington dc i was the political military affairs

00:28:19.400 officer for russia for the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff where i drafted the armed forces global

00:28:24.360 campaign plan to counter russian aggression and russian malign influence in july 2018 i was asked to

00:28:32.040 serve at the white house national security council at the nsc i'm the principal advisor to the national

00:28:38.920 security advisor on ukraine and other countries in my portfolio my role at the nsc is to develop

00:28:45.560 coordinate and implement plans and policies to manage the full range of diplomatic informational

00:28:50.440 military and economic national security issues the countries in my portfolio my core function is to

00:28:56.840 coordinate policy with departments and agencies the committee has heard from many of my colleagues

00:29:03.080 about the strategic importance of ukraine as a bulwark against russian aggression

00:29:06.520 it is important to note that our country's policy of supporting ukrainian sovereignty and territorial

00:29:12.280 integrity promoting ukrainian prosperity and strengthening a free and democratic ukraine

00:29:18.360 as a counter to russian aggression has been a consistent bipartisan foreign policy objective

00:29:24.280 and strategy across various administrations both democratic and republican and that president

00:29:29.400 zelinski's election in april 2019 created an unprecedented opportunity to realize our strategy our

00:29:35.880 strategic objectives in the spring of 2019 i became aware of two disruptive actors

00:29:41.400 primarily ukraine's then prosecutor your elite senko and former mayor rudolf giuliani president's

00:29:47.800 personal attorney promoting false narratives that undermined the united states ukraine policy

00:29:54.200 the nsc and its interagency partners including the state department grew increasingly concerned

00:29:59.320 about the impact that such information was having on our country's ability to achieve our national

00:30:03.800 security objectives on april 21st 2019 vladimir zelinski was elected president of ukraine in a landslide

00:30:11.720 victory on a unity reform and anti-corruption platform president trump called president zelinski on april

00:30:17.960 21st 2019 to congratulate him on his victory i was the staff officer who produced the call materials

00:30:25.320 and was one of the staff officers who listened to the call the call was positive and president trump

00:30:30.200 expressed his desire to work with president zelinski and extended an invitation to visit the white house

00:30:37.000 in may i attended the inauguration of president zelinski as part of the presidential delegation

00:30:42.360 led by secretary perry following the visit the members of the delegation provided president trump a

00:30:48.200 debriefing offering a positive assessment of president zelinski and his team after this debriefing

00:30:53.800 president trump signed a congratulatory letter to president zelinski and extended in another

00:30:59.960 invitation to visit the white house gripping on july 10 2019 alexander danieluk then ukraine's

00:31:06.440 national security i mean none of this sounds insidious from either of them at this point

00:31:11.240 no ambassador volker and sondland ambassadors volker and sondland and secretary rick perry also

00:31:17.240 attended the meeting i attended with dr hill we fully anticipated the ukrainians would raise the

00:31:23.960 issue of meeting of a meeting between the presidents ambassador balton cut the meeting short when

00:31:29.320 ambassador sondland start to speak about the requirement that ukraine deliver specific

00:31:33.800 investigations in order to secure the meeting with president trump following this meeting there was

00:31:38.840 a short debriefing during which ambassador sondland emphasized the importance of ukraine delivering the

00:31:43.720 investigations into the 2016 elections the biden's and brisma now i stated to ambassador sondland

00:31:49.880 that this was inappropriate and had nothing to do with national security uh remember that bolton is

00:31:55.960 also i believe a deep state kind of guy not a deep state obama kind of guy but a deep state

00:32:05.320 kind of guy on the right president zelinski won a parliamentary election in another landslide victory

00:32:10.600 the nsc proposed that president trump call president zelinski to congratulate him on july 25th 2019 the

00:32:19.240 call occurred i listened on the in on the call in the situation room with white house colleagues

00:32:26.280 i was concerned by the call what i heard was inappropriate and i reported my concerns to mr eisenberg

00:32:33.240 it is improper for the president of the united states to demand a foreign government investigate a u.s

00:32:37.800 citizen and a political opponent i was also clear that if ukraine pursued an investigation it was

00:32:45.720 it was also clear that if ukraine pursued an investigation into the 2016 elections the biden's

00:32:51.080 and brisma it would be interpreted as a partisan play this would undoubtedly result in ukraine losing

00:32:56.440 bipartisan support undermining u.s national security and advancing russia's if i ask a question on this this

00:33:02.520 first of all um that's not all he was asking to investigate he was asking to investigate even if it

00:33:09.320 was let's just say it was you're investigating the vice president and his son who was paid millions of

00:33:17.960 dollars for no reason while the father was distributing funds to that country for the industry that the son was

00:33:28.440 just in right that's bad corruption by the way those funds were all lost okay so we have we have seven

00:33:37.400 billion dollars that just disappeared and the target of this investigation was the main competition

00:33:43.400 to the company joe biden's son was working for correct so what what exactly is the problem here

00:33:50.760 asking for that yes he happened to have been running for uh the president you know as the president's

00:33:58.360 opponent not yet but not yet but would be so yes there was an added benefit there but every we were

00:34:05.000 talking about this being investigated before trump got into office you know these things should have been

00:34:11.080 investigated before but we know why they weren't because of the deep state the other thing is when they

00:34:18.680 say they didn't want to bring this up you know they want trump investigating this stuff because it

00:34:23.240 would be such it would be seen as bipartisan i mean uh uh partisan partisan and the bipartisan agreement

00:34:30.040 on ukraine would go away well what's happening now yeah what's this this is what is this they're

00:34:36.760 very much now involved in political uh disputes in the united states right i mean all the stuff that

00:34:42.840 they said they wanted to stop they're now they're doing on the behalf of and everything that they said

00:34:47.800 donald trump was doing they're doing this idea that you can't you can't investigate a political

00:34:54.120 opponent because they're a political opponent what are democrats doing right now would you say

00:34:59.400 are they are they investigating the you know president trump should president trump be immune from all

00:35:05.000 investigation because he's the political opponent of the democrats like no that's why this being so

00:35:10.280 partisan is so bad because there's there's if if this were true if this was if this was a legitimate

00:35:19.080 in inquiry it would be okay if it was a legitimate inquiry into russia but it wasn't as we found out

00:35:28.120 i was for the inquiry into russia and i didn't think that trump did anything but do i think i'd like to know

00:35:34.840 if he did yeah and i did think that trump would have liked to do something you know anybody hillary

00:35:41.000 clinton everyone if somebody comes to you and says hey i by the way i've got the dirt on it's going to

00:35:46.360 take him out i think all i think every politician under the sun is having that meeting and they want

00:35:52.680 something to happen or at least they're having some aid right off the record somehow or another they're

00:35:57.160 taking that meeting so uh you know let's not be so high and mighty here however if he had done that

00:36:05.240 and he was colluding with russia i would have been all for the impeachment all for it but as we as we

00:36:12.840 come to find out that's not what was happening this was a partisan investigation into him this is a

00:36:19.720 partisan investigation into into him now if you were going to do it fairly openly and you were

00:36:27.000 actually looking for honest answers this is great but this is using tens of millions of dollars if not

00:36:35.080 hundreds of millions of dollars for what to discredit the president of the united states who's running for

00:36:43.000 re-election which is the same thing they're investigating trump trump for doing right like it's hilarious

00:36:49.320 they're legitimately doing the same thing yeah the same thing okay they're getting into questions

00:36:53.880 here in just a second so let me pause and then we'll come back as they get into questions because

00:38:30.680 this is the glenbeck program

00:38:32.680 well i don't know i mean

00:38:59.160 we're just debating we have so many things to go on uh that we have to cover today we have adam

00:39:04.600 schiff he's he's about to start asking questions we also have fart gate uh that is uh that is

00:39:10.600 happening we need a fart investigation on this because i don't i don't know if i buy the media

00:39:15.160 spit on it you know there's there's too much conflicting information can we please play eric

00:39:20.280 swalwell uh being interviewed by uh chris matthews yesterday this audio is real taxpayer dollars to

00:39:30.040 ask the ukrainians to help him cheat an election and the complaint that i've heard from republic

00:39:35.400 all right let's hear it one more time one more time taxpayer dollars to ask the ukrainians to help

00:39:39.800 him cheat an election and the complaint that i mean his shoulders go up yeah i mean there's a physical

00:39:45.480 reaction visually that yeah and he pauses now chris matthews says that's just a coffee cup coming

00:39:51.880 across the table let's listen to it with thinking about a coffee cup could it be a coffee cup taxpayer

00:39:58.520 dollars to ask the ukrainians to help him cheat an election and the complaint that i've heard from a

00:40:03.560 could be maybe i don't know it could be we should try to recreate a coffee cup here

00:40:08.600 well you gotta take it take the the uh the pens out of it you might need some liquid do you have

00:40:16.440 any liquid you can put in that thing well i gotta get all this this table is too smooth i think yeah

00:40:23.400 it is well what kind of i mean they're getting no you're getting no friction at all on this table

00:40:29.960 what kind of play that again what kind of table does that have taxpayer dollars to ask the ukrainians to

00:40:34.440 help him cheat an election and the complaint that i've heard chris matthews is the one who said it

00:40:38.920 i i don't think that there would be a problem believing that chris matthews has bad gas problems

00:40:44.280 well and there's an indication i mean this goes back historically to whoever smelt it dealt it correct

00:40:48.680 um and so correct now is that hearsay do you have first-hand knowledge of he who smelt it dealt it or is

00:40:56.920 this i mean i i mean hearsay don't get me wrong hearsay is as good as good as gold as good as gold as

00:41:03.320 any first-hand i was there eyewitness kind of stuff here's the thing to me it while it does sort of

00:41:11.880 look like swalwell farts there i don't know if the audio fits it there's not it's an he's in an echoey 0.95

00:41:17.640 room he's supposedly wearing a lapel mic which would not indicate like it's too far away from his butt for 0.95

00:41:24.680 the for the the air to be that clear let's play it one more time taxpayer dollars to ask the ukrainians 0.60

00:41:32.520 to help him cheat an election and the complex i don't know it seems to me more like chris matthews

00:41:37.880 ripped one in the studio and he's trying to hide it i don't know but our investigation it'll go into

00:41:42.520 tens of millions of dollars and we'll spend about three years on fart gate as we look into what's in

00:41:49.320 swalwell's pants and what did chris matthews know and when did he know it you're listening to glenn

00:41:55.480 back i prefer not to look at what's in swalwell's pants myself but that's a you know that's what to

00:42:01.320 you might be a separate investigation i mean i'm not interested either but i gotta get to the facts

00:42:07.960 do we have to take do we have to take all the stuff that they're

00:42:12.280 testifying we have i mean really we can drop in and out yeah drop in and out we have selena zito on who

00:42:17.480 wrote an article yesterday and i i'm i'm more interested in how this is affecting people and

00:42:24.360 selena is really the one that she wrote the book the great revolt she was the one who nailed the trump

00:42:30.520 election and everybody celebrated her but now that she's saying yeah i think it might kind of happen the

00:42:36.920 same way um you know nobody wants to talk about it she's got a great story that she wrote uh yesterday

00:42:44.280 we're going to talk to her about what effect is is happening in america on voters

00:43:05.240 the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment this is the glenbeck program in a country increasingly

00:43:12.920 engaged with national politics and divided the next 12 months may feel like the next 12 years

00:43:19.640 voters in both trenches are eager to vote convinced not only of a victory but also a vindication

00:43:26.120 the shocking result in 2016 was not a black swan in a regular election deviating from normalcy but

00:43:33.400 instead the indicator of the realignment that is described in the book the great revolt

00:43:38.680 the story of america's evolving political topography is one of tectonic plates slowly grinding against

00:43:48.280 each other until a break notably alters the landscape with seismic consequences

00:43:55.640 the person who is probably the best to tell us the effects of the impeachment and what people are

00:44:02.280 actually feeling is actually feeling is a woman who spends her whole life just traveling the back roads 0.99

00:44:08.920 the small towns of america and listens to people her name is selena zito she's the author of the great

00:44:16.200 revolt she has an update on that and we go to her in one minute 1.00

00:44:23.240 this is the glenbeck program we're also monitoring the impeachment uh we have lieutenant colonel

00:44:29.480 vinman who is testifying now we're going to be popping in and out of that all throughout the show

00:46:05.320 we have selena zito on the phone with us she is a uh a reporter and one of the best listeners i think

00:46:22.360 in the country she actually is the one who called the last election really spot on spot on and i think

00:46:30.120 she's doing it again selena welcome to the program hey thanks so much for having me on nice to talk

00:46:36.600 to you glenn good to talk to you i know your book is is it out in paperback yet yeah it just came out

00:46:41.800 in paperback this week with an uh with an update uh an afterward that explains what happened in 2018

00:46:50.360 why that matters uh what it tells us and what we should continue to look for uh for 2020.

00:46:57.400 okay yeah so yeah i'm reading i'm reading some of the stuff that you have written recently and

00:47:03.160 yesterday you you have the the new phase of the great revolt uh and as i'm as i'm reading it last

00:47:10.520 night i'm gathering that what people did in the uh the congressional and state elections here recently

00:47:20.760 we should not necessarily take that to mean anything for the presidential election

00:47:25.560 and then that's absolutely right let's take uh the kentucky governor's race for for a moment

00:47:32.440 uh if anybody understood kentucky or ever went there in the national press they wouldn't be writing oh

00:47:40.600 it's all over because the republican kentucky governor lost i spent a lot of time in kentucky uh matt bevin was

00:47:47.960 not very popular the point of view of him by the people who live there is that he was a carpet

00:47:55.160 bagger you know he didn't understand kentucky culture and he he made a lot of series of

00:48:01.640 um successive um out of touch decisions yeah about about his state and and and governor's races

00:48:11.880 are about being connected to the people and and he did not demonstrate that he was and if you look

00:48:20.600 down ballot republicans not only won hugely like in the secretary of state race uh or the attorney

00:48:29.400 general race but also they gained seats in the um in the senate and in the house so i think that that

00:48:37.560 saying oh this means we know republicans don't want trump no it meant that kentucky voters were

00:48:44.200 unsatisfied with matt bevin all right so i'm we're we're watching the impeachment today and

00:48:50.680 i think it's just hardening people's positions there's there's nothing there's nothing new here

00:48:58.280 as we're watching there's no smoking gun people who are against donald trump are so against him they'll

00:49:05.080 do anything to get him out uh for those who are really even fence sitters on donald trump i think

00:49:12.680 they look at this and say this is not this doesn't even make sense to me and i think it it hardens

00:49:20.600 people on which way they were leaning it's absolutely correct and to tell you what it reminds me of do you

00:49:27.480 remember when scott walker won uh the governor's race uh in 2010 and then there was a recall election

00:49:36.520 because you know the people who lost were unhappy essentially that's what it was and

00:49:42.680 he came back and won that with higher percentage because people who didn't even vote for him

00:49:50.840 thought you know what this is bogus this is sore loserism and i'm going to vote for him because

00:49:58.120 i think the behavior of the democrats is wrong and you can i'm finding a lot of that sentiment

00:50:04.600 among among um among trump skeptics who don't can particularly care for his comportment which by

00:50:12.440 the way is probably 70 of trump voters they don't care for his comportment they like the results they

00:50:19.160 also understand that you need to be a mean sob to to sort of break up the swamp's behavior in the

00:50:29.000 establishment behavior on both sides to make effective change i i will tell you selena i said

00:50:36.520 this i mean we talked right after i said this right at the beginning if if you want to be effective

00:50:43.880 and actually go against donald trump you can't just throw everything at him you they started from the

00:50:53.080 beginning and it drove it drove people i mean when i when i put the maga hat on i don't know about a

00:50:59.560 year or two ago mine was not a full-throated endorsement of donald trump because i like many

00:51:06.280 of his policies for instance side note your honor just what he did with israel just yesterday i like

00:51:12.200 many of his policies but he is so hard to defend because his because of the way he just is but you know

00:51:20.760 what the way they're taking him on in congress through the state department and in the media

00:51:27.880 god bless him just keep going donald just keep going you're there's a sentiment shared by

00:51:35.000 by people and here's here's what really always gets under my skin going is that the people in my

00:51:40.600 profession don't understand that sentiment and you know why because they live in the super zip codes of

00:51:46.040 this country um and and they don't know anyone who thinks or looks or acts uh the way that people do

00:51:54.600 outside of those super zip codes they control the media they control entertainment they control sports

00:52:00.840 they control corporations and this this populist coalition has been building for over 12 years

00:52:08.680 donald trump didn't cause it he is the result of it and the important thing about the great revolt is

00:52:15.400 this continues long after 2020 this coalition is not going away for at least a generation what i would

00:52:24.440 tell people to do is everyone in in my profession that says oh it's all up to the suburbs that's right

00:52:30.760 but not all suburbs are created equal suburban voter in erie county pennsylvania or kenosha wisconsin or

00:52:39.800 baldwin uh michigan or mccone county michigan um does not look act or behave the same way a suburban

00:52:49.400 voter in philadelphia or northern virginia behaved and votes those are the voters who are going to make

00:52:56.120 a difference they have the exact same education that their cousins have in northern virginia in philadelphia

00:53:02.200 but they live among a variety of different um viewpoints and they are connected and rooted to

00:53:10.440 community where voters in in north and like northern virginia are very transient they aren't rooted to

00:53:17.320 their community community doesn't mean the same thing and voting for donald trump is about community and

00:53:23.080 localism and i have to tell you i and and and i would love to hear you respond to this selena

00:53:28.600 uh as i travel around i just have this sense that there's a lot of people that would have voted for

00:53:38.520 another candidate that wasn't corrupt and wasn't a hardcore socialist and or even hanging around all the

00:53:47.480 socialists i think there's a lot of people who are democrats who are blue collar etc etc who may not like

00:53:54.760 donald trump but will vote for him because they feel like the democratic party has left the building

00:54:03.160 and they have left the insane socialists in charge yes that's absolutely true all you have to do is keep

00:54:10.920 your eye on western pennsylvania throughout this whole process um most of the candidates on the democratic

00:54:16.200 side that are running said they believe in a ban on fracking on day one well let me tell you western

00:54:22.360 pennsylvania eastern ohio also texas colorado kansas north dakota these are areas that are thriving

00:54:30.120 because of the the shale industry uh lives and communities are being changed because they are now

00:54:37.880 prosperous again and and and so to ban it is to take how are you going to sort of it's a binary

00:54:45.560 choice right i've got trump who i like his policies don't like his personality i got the democrats oh they

00:54:50.920 want to take my job away on the day they're sworn in i think i'll go with the guy with the little

00:54:56.200 weird twitter account because at least he has my back and a democrat cannot win the white house without

00:55:04.120 winning pennsylvania a republican can and a democrat cannot win pennsylvania without winning western

00:55:09.640 pennsylvania so if that is that's why you you have to keep an eye on those areas because that's where

00:55:17.720 those sentiments will be reflected anytime someone visits there and they will understand why trump

00:55:25.880 if it was held tomorrow he would win the election and that's hard for people who live out in live in

00:55:32.600 either the east coast or the west coast um to to understand because they don't know anybody else in

00:55:38.920 the middle remember this this is in the great revolt the 34 of trump voters in 2016 which right now seems

00:55:47.240 like the aussie and harriet hour era because it seems nicer than it was today yeah um 34 of trump

00:55:54.920 voters did not tell family member or friend that they were voting for him 34 that was in 2016.

00:56:03.000 i mean i can't even my mind just can't even wrap around how people would how they're going to

00:56:11.080 approach it now given the intensity of the cancel culture you know i mean you say you're going to

00:56:18.280 vote for trump you have to worry about losing your job or affecting the people that work for you or

00:56:22.840 affecting your family or affecting your social status how is how is the impeachment affecting all of this

00:56:29.800 you had it absolutely right if you love trump and on election day 2016 you're still um optimistic

00:56:38.440 about the future but what about those what about those what about those swing people this the the

00:56:43.400 people that are you know they're they they don't necessarily like that they are voting for a republican

00:56:50.520 let alone donald trump what about those people who voted for him last time has this made any impact on

00:56:55.960 them none zero i have a story coming out about that in the new york post on on sunday i went back to

00:57:03.160 the people in the book people that were skeptical people that had a hard time um you know and people

00:57:08.840 who supported him outright um but had reservations uh that not it's groundhog day nothing has changed

00:57:15.560 their support for him has only gotten stronger because they look at this and say you know they've

00:57:20.040 been trying to impeach him since day one they just finally found something they think can make stick

00:57:25.080 but but it they they and they're watching this intensely like there's there's no they're there i mean

00:57:33.320 in their minds they think this is not an impeachable offense this is something that someone does who's

00:57:41.400 not part of the washington system and this is how they behave this is how trump always behaves what

00:57:46.840 about those democrats what about those democrats who vote for democrats but they are afraid of the

00:57:52.760 socialist movement of the democrat uh will they just sit it out or will they vote for the socialist

00:58:01.240 democrat or a democrat no they won't vote for the socialist democrat they'll either sit it out or

00:58:09.000 they'll hold their nose and vote for trump uh that's why i keep my eye on minnesota as well

00:58:14.040 um that's a state he only lost by 45 000 votes and i just spent some time there and you see the the

00:58:22.360 swing towards him in that state and that broadens his coalition uh that doesn't add to shrinking his

00:58:31.480 coalition so um i've heard talk from some people that they believe that this could be a reagan mondale

00:58:39.320 election i don't think it would be that strong but do you think there is a chance that it's a

00:58:44.840 it's not anything like we're expecting if the democrats go too crazy on this impeachment which

00:58:50.920 have already shown that they have no problem doing and they pick someone very far left such as elizabeth

00:58:58.840 warren or pete budigich uh then yeah you would see a land side election absolutely all right with no doubt in

00:59:05.560 my mind selena thank you so much the name of the book is the great revolt um i'm anxious to see your

00:59:11.560 next article and uh and get the update uh to your book selena is the one who really listened to people

00:59:18.840 um and was the one who finally really just listening to her explained it to me and i was like oh my gosh

00:59:25.560 i get it it's called the great revolt um by her and brad todd who uh who also is instrumental in in

00:59:33.240 putting this together it's out in paperback now selena thank you so much thanks so much for having

00:59:38.520 me you bet god bless all right we have uh you know it's interesting because i i i seem to recall

00:59:48.360 stew don't you that when you have hearings like this don't you have the one side ask a question

00:59:56.440 then the other side ask a question then your side ask a question that's an interesting approach

01:00:00.680 yeah they've decided to do this a little differently they uh they seem to be asking all of their

01:00:05.000 questions and then they break for afternoon uh when everybody is gone and then they then they let you

01:00:11.720 ask your questions in the afternoon so you don't really get any of the other side at the same time

01:00:17.320 which is i've not seen before and is so slanted by the way they have five people to test them uh to

01:00:23.480 testify three of them are the ones that the republicans wanted that's why you have two this morning and then

01:00:31.160 later this afternoon and into the evening when no one is watching is when the democrats are going

01:00:39.320 to allow the republicans to have their people testify i mean look they control the process you

01:00:45.480 know it's incredible i mean it's the way it's set up it's in the constitution that way they can kind

01:00:49.560 of do it however they want however if they actually wanted to convince the american people that this was

01:00:56.200 going on and they believed in their case wouldn't they try to be more fair yes all right let me tell

01:01:01.400 you about x chair right now um 10 different adjustments it is so comfortable i believe in

01:02:13.560 so i don't know stew who who are the who are the democrats going to have to run i mean it must be joe

01:02:31.960 biden i mean this doesn't seem to be affecting him yet but if the president does go and he's not going

01:02:39.080 to testify now with these hearings but if they take this up in the senate and they actually have

01:02:45.160 a real trial where you can call the whistleblower etc etc this is going to destroy joe biden just

01:02:52.840 destroy him and then who you left with well uh mayor pete is there for you uh mayor pete now leading in

01:02:59.720 iowa according to the most recent poll there by the des moines register that one of the top rated

01:03:04.520 pollsters in the country uh he is up by eight or ten points there and buddha judge you know i know

01:03:10.560 selena mentioned him as a far left candidate which of course i would fully agree with uh but he is not

01:03:16.800 positioning himself that way in the primary he is trying to say he is the moderate option but people

01:03:22.360 are not going to believe it people are not going to buy that in the general they just won't believe

01:03:28.600 it in the general i really don't think so well he's trying to he's trying to give i mean remember

01:03:33.440 this is we were talking about chick-fil-a today this is a guy who came out kind of famously and said

01:03:37.400 yeah i'm gay but i still like chick-fil-a like he's trying to position himself there and you know

01:03:43.440 he's he's from the midwest he's from this region that uh that trump won the election in i mean he is

01:03:50.820 this is he's not real successful in his little teeny town i'm not making an argument for buddha no i know

01:03:56.460 by any means for you to vote for him i know i described him yesterday though as uh just the latest

01:04:02.700 pair of pumps that the democrats are trying on go shoe shopping with your wife she'll try on a 1.00

01:04:09.580 whole buttload of shoes and she'll like them when she tries them on and then she'll say i'm going to

01:06:22.600 examination here until you prepared for this hearing until others have been testifying in

01:06:29.680 more detail on those issues that's correct you've been following it more closely correct

01:06:33.800 uh did you know that barisma's american legal representatives met with ukrainian officials

01:06:39.760 just days after vice president biden forced the firing of the country's chief prosecutor

01:06:44.640 again sir i was not working on ukraine policy during that time yeah none of these are trick

01:06:50.420 questions i'm just trying to get through them i understand yeah did you know that barisma lawyers

01:06:54.920 pressured the state department in february 2016 after the raid and month before the firing of shokin

01:07:01.480 and that they invoked hunter biden's name as a reason to intervene i was not aware

01:07:06.920 does you know that joe biden called ukrainian president porchenko at least three times in

01:07:12.140 february 2016 after the president and owner of barisma's home was raided on february 2nd by the

01:07:18.840 state prosecutor's office not at the time again i've become aware of that through this proceeding

01:07:23.920 thank you ms williams uh lieutenant colonel veneman i'm going to ask you uh same questions

01:07:31.560 uh just to establish some basic facts about your knowledge about ukraine burisma and the role of

01:07:37.640 the biden's uh in september 2015 u.s ambassador to ukraine jeffrey pyatt publicly called for an

01:07:46.000 investigation into slashevsky the president of burisma were you aware of these public statements

01:07:50.940 i wasn't aware of them at the time when did you become aware of them during the course of the

01:07:57.380 testimony and the depositions after this impeachment inquiry began did you know of anti-trump efforts by

01:08:05.120 various ukrainian government officials as well as alexander chalupa a dnc consultant i'm not aware of

01:08:11.720 any uh any um any of these interference efforts did you know about deputy assistant secretary of

01:08:19.380 states kent's concerns about potential conflict of interest with hunter biden sitting on the board of

01:08:24.140 barisma only uh the only thing i'm aware of is uh pertains to his deposition as you know that

01:08:31.820 financial records show a ukrainian natural gas company barisma routed more than three million

01:08:36.120 dollars to the american accounts tied to hunter biden i'm not aware of this uh this fact

01:08:41.720 until recently i i guess i didn't independently look into it i'm just not aware of uh you know what

01:08:51.980 kind of payments mr biden may have received this is not something i'm aware of you know that

01:08:57.120 barisma's american legal representatives met with ukrainian officials just days after vice

01:09:01.140 president biden forced the firing of the country's chief prosecutor i'm not aware of these meetings

01:09:06.260 did you know that barisma lawyers pressured the state department in february 2016 after the raid and

01:09:12.920 a month before the firing of shokin that they invoked hunter biden's name as a reason to intervene

01:09:18.280 i'm not aware of any of these facts did you know that joe biden called ukrainian president porchenko

01:09:27.280 at least three times in february 2016 after the president and owner of brisma's home was raided on

01:09:33.220 february 2nd by the state prosecutor's office i'm aware of the fact that president biden or vice

01:09:40.240 president biden was uh very engaged on ukraine and had numerous engagements that's what i'm aware of

01:09:45.840 mr williams and lieutenant colonel vindman as you may or may not know this committee has spent nearly

01:09:56.440 three years conducting various investigations starting with the russia collusion hoax

01:10:00.720 fisa abuse democratic hysteria over the lack of collusion in the muller report

01:10:06.780 and now this impeachment charade one of the most concerning things regarding all of these

01:10:12.480 investigations is the amount of classified or otherwise sensitive information i read in the

01:10:18.000 press that derive either from this committee or sources in the administration to be clear i'm not

01:10:24.280 accusing either one of you of leaking information however given that you are the first witnesses

01:10:28.880 who actually have some first-hand knowledge of the president's call by listening in on july 25th

01:10:35.080 it's imperative to the american public's understanding of the events that we get a quick matters out of the

01:10:41.760 few matters out of the way first miss williams let me just go to you first

01:10:51.120 for the purposes of the following questions i'm only asking about the time period between

01:10:58.160 from july 25th to september 25th okay did you discuss the july 25th phone call between president

01:11:07.120 trump and president zielinski or any matters associated with a phone call with any members

01:11:12.000 of the press no to be clear you never discussed these matters with the new york times the washington

01:11:18.880 post politico cnn or any other media outlet no i did not did you ask or encourage any individual

01:11:26.240 to share the substance of the july 25th phone call or any matter associated with the call

01:11:30.480 with any uh member of the press i did not do you know of any individual who discussed the substance

01:11:37.920 of the july 25th phone call or matter associated with the call with any member of the press no i do not

01:11:46.320 lieutenant colonel veneman the same uh questions for you

01:11:51.840 uh did you discuss the july 25th phone call between president trump and president zielinski

01:11:57.040 or any matter associated with a phone call with any member of the press i did not just to be clear

01:12:04.400 you did not discuss this with the new york times the washington post politico cnn or any other media

01:12:09.920 outlet i did not did you ask or encourage any individual to share the substance of the july 25th

01:12:16.080 phone call or any matter associated with the call with any member of the press i did not do you know of

01:12:23.200 any individual who discussed the substance of the july 25th phone call or any matter associated with

01:12:28.560 the call with any member of the press we have an nsc press shop and they field any of these types of

01:12:34.800 questions i do not engage with the press at all let me ask the question again do you know of any

01:12:40.960 individual who discussed the substance of the july 25th phone call or any matter associated with the call

01:12:46.320 with any member of the press we have an nsc press shop whose job is to to engage on any of these types

01:12:56.400 of questions i am not aware but it is possible and likely that the press shop would have had would

01:13:03.040 field these types of questions right the question after i'm sorry you know do the question is do you

01:13:09.760 know any individual do you personally know any individual who discussed the substance of the

01:13:16.160 july 25th phone call or any matter associated with the call with any member of the press thank you

01:13:21.920 reckon a ranking member for clarifying i do not thank you uh miss williams did you discuss

01:13:31.840 july 25th phone call with anyone outside the white house on july 25th or july 26th and if so with whom

01:13:38.560 no i did not discuss the call with anyone outside or inside the white house uh miss williams during

01:13:44.720 your time on the nsc have you ever accessed a colleague's work computer without their prior

01:13:50.320 authorization or approval i have not just to clarify i'm in the office of the vice president so not on

01:13:55.920 the nsc right but represent no i have not no thank you for that clarification by the way i want to just

01:14:03.120 run with this because you will not see any of this stuff on tv tonight outside the white house

01:14:08.160 on july 25th or the 26th and if so with whom yes i did uh my core function is to coordinate

01:14:16.400 u.s government policy interagency policy and i spoke to two individuals with regards to um providing a

01:14:25.200 some site some sort of readout of the call two individuals that were not in the white house not in

01:14:31.120 the white house cleared u.s government officials with the pro with uh appropriate need to know and

01:14:36.880 what agencies uh were these officials with department of state um department of state uh deputy assistant

01:14:44.480 secretary george kent who is responsible for uh the the portfolio uh eastern europe including ukraine

01:14:51.920 and a individual from the office of uh an individual in the intelligence community

01:14:59.760 what uh as you know the intelligence community has 17 different agencies uh what agency was this

01:15:06.320 individual from if i could interject here we don't want to use these proceedings it's our time i know

01:15:13.760 but we need to protect the whistleblower um if please stop i want to make sure that uh there's no

01:15:22.720 effort to out the whistleblower uh through the use of these proceedings um if the witness has a good

01:15:28.560 faith belief that this may reveal the identity of the whistleblower that is not the purpose that we

01:15:35.440 are here for and i want to advise uh the witness accordingly unbelievable mr vindman you testified in

01:15:43.760 your deposition that you did not know the whistleblower uh rank member exiled lieutenant colonel vindman

01:15:48.880 please uh lieutenant colonel vindman oh you testified in the deposition that you did not know

01:15:56.080 who the whistleblower was or is i do not know who the whistleblower is that is how is it possible for

01:16:04.000 you to name these people and then out the whistleblower per the advice of my counsel i've been advised

01:16:13.200 not to answer quite specific questions about members of the intelligence community

01:16:19.600 this is are you aware that this is the intelligence committee that's conducting an impeachment hearing

01:16:24.480 of course i am wouldn't the appropriate place for you to come to to testify would be the intelligence

01:16:32.240 committee about someone within the intelligence community remember per the advice of my counsel

01:16:38.720 and the instructions from the chairman i've been advised not to provide any specifics on who i've spoken

01:16:45.760 to with inside the intelligence community what i can offer is that these were properly cleared

01:16:51.040 individuals or was a properly cleared individual with a need to know well this is uh

01:17:00.960 i mean you can really you can plead the fifth but you're here to answer questions and you're here

01:17:06.400 under subpoena uh so you can either answer the question or you can plead the fifth excuse me uh

01:17:14.160 uh on behalf of the attorney we are uh following the rule of the committee the rule of the chair with

01:17:22.000 regard to this issue and this does not call for an answer that is invoking the fifth or any theoretical

01:17:29.680 issue like that we're following the ruling of the chair what counselor what ruling is that i could

01:17:36.640 interject council is correct whistleblower has the right statutory right to anonymity these proceedings will not

01:17:42.720 be used to out the whistleblower and and i've advised my client accordingly and he's going to follow the

01:17:50.080 ruling of the chair if there's a alternative or you want to work something out with the chair that's up to

01:17:56.800 you mr nunes well we've attempted to subpoena the whistleblower to sit for a deposition uh the chair has

01:18:04.480 tabled that motion and then has been unwilling to recognize those motions uh over the last few days of

01:18:11.600 this impeachment inquisition process well that i'll go to mr castor thank you remember notice he uses the

01:18:19.040 word inquisition uh and he's absolutely right on this this is an inquisition where you don't have a

01:18:26.800 right to face your accuser you don't have a right to know all of the information this is the intelligence

01:18:33.920 committee and for the intelligence officers uh to not answer to the intelligence committee

01:18:42.800 on what was happening in the intelligence community there is no oversight it makes it makes not only

01:18:51.200 the state department not have to answer to the president of the united states for foreign policy but now

01:18:58.640 this kind of behavior makes the intelligence community not have to answer to the intelligence

01:19:05.680 committee who's responsible for anything anymore more in just a second

01:19:15.120 let me tell you about uh relief factor when you climb the ladder of time eventually

01:22:59.760 that's uh an official uh official response from santa about uh chick-fil-a distancing themselves from 0.89

01:23:07.760 the salvation army which i am not sure that's anything other than spin on what actually happened

01:23:15.040 from chick-fil-a we're waiting for a comment from chick-fil-a tinsel is a relatively gay product

01:23:22.080 though i will say i never really thought of it that way no i but it kind of is i still don't think of

01:23:26.640 it that way but uh we have the last hour of uh the impeachment we're we're going to be looking

01:23:49.600 into a couple of other things including the chick-fil-a thing i just don't understand it but as

01:23:54.640 we read more into it it looks like that kind of is what chick-fil-a is saying we think i hope not

01:23:59.920 but we think let me tell you about um our spotlight sponsor and that's relief factor two years ago it

01:24:08.560 was two years ago in about three weeks that uh i went up to the ranch which i could barely do anymore

01:24:14.240 because it's cold and cold affects me at very high altitude and the altitude affects me and uh i said i

01:24:21.840 just can't live this way anymore and tanya said before you completely give up try relief factor

01:24:28.240 just try it please and i did and it has changed my life i'm not dreading going to the mountains uh

01:24:41.200 please try it for three weeks call 800-500-8384 relieffactor.com

01:24:47.680 the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment i i honestly don't understand how thinking people

01:25:12.240 are consuming this impeachment uh hearing and feeling that a it's fair or even consistent

01:25:22.560 and i i want to start there as we continue our coverage on the impeachment hearings in one minute

01:25:28.320 this is the glenbeck program

01:25:33.760 okay imagine your cell phone is a voting booth and every time you use your cell phone you're voting for

01:25:41.280 impeachment you're voting for open borders you're voting for gun confiscation that call to your

01:25:47.600 mother just voted for abortion that's the way you need to look at this it's a horrible thought but it's

01:25:56.080 not unrealistic because this is what you're doing when you spend money with all of the cell phone

01:26:01.840 companies that hate everything you believe in just to add insult to injury these cell phone carriers

01:26:08.080 have all kinds of hidden fees like at&t's administrative fee you know the one they're

01:26:14.160 currently getting sued over what is that compare that with patriot mobile the only

01:26:20.080 uh conservative phone company in the nation they not only support your values with no hidden fees

01:26:26.400 but for a limited time they're also giving you a free moto z3 when you open up a new line a free

01:26:31.200 moto z3 when you open a new line the offer is only valid through cyber monday when you call

01:26:37.120 877-367-7524 why not use a carrier who believes in the same things you do and isn't voting with their money

01:26:47.280 your money every time you make a phone call they donate to those causes patriot mobile doesn't do that

01:26:53.840 switching is really easy you'll get reliable 4g lte nationwide service for as low as 25 bucks a month

01:27:00.800 plus you're helping preserve the country that we love it's patriot mobile dot com slash beck

01:27:05.760 patriot mobile dot com slash beck or call their us-based team at 877-367-7524 877-367-7524

01:27:15.840 patriot mobile dot com slash beck

01:27:30.800 so now we're talking to uh now we're talking to the people that we've already really heard from we've

01:27:35.840 heard from lieutenant colonel vindman he's a nsc guy he uh he was there uh at the white house

01:27:45.840 it's his testimony on what what happened and how they're you know how there was collusion but

01:27:52.880 not really you know the how there was bribery but not really it's based basically on how he feels i

01:28:02.560 felt this was wrong okay well i appreciate your feelings i do appreciate your feelings um but

01:28:12.160 do you have any more than your feelings we're going to give you all the entire breakdown here

01:28:19.440 um at five o'clock this afternoon on what's what is happening today in the impeachment trial

01:28:26.000 uh but i i can't help but in listening to this then ask just for just just give me a couple of minutes

01:28:36.640 and and let me ask three questions right now we are being told that asking for an investigation

01:28:48.640 on joe biden was targeting of a political opponent and it is impeachable

01:28:57.280 okay all right i let's say i give you that all right asking for an investigation

01:29:05.680 on someone who is your uh foe in an upcoming election is impeachable

01:29:14.640 why because just this the hint of scandal hurts them right just the hint of scandal hurts them

01:29:24.080 but don't you have a responsibility

01:29:33.600 to make sure that information gets out if there is actual corruption let me ask the question this way

01:29:39.040 asking for an investigation on biden was targeting a political opponent and it is impeachable

01:29:44.960 but doing an investigation based on the steel dossier is not impeachable

01:29:55.120 launching this investigation this impeachment based on a partisan whistleblower

01:30:01.920 is somehow heroic and an and the job of congress

01:30:06.080 yet calling for an investigation on the corruption of a democratic vice president is impeachable

01:30:14.000 i can't give you both i can't i give you one looking into your opponent is either impeachable

01:30:23.200 or it is not i can't say it is sometimes and not the other you can't tell me well that was just a

01:30:31.280 political campaign well that's what the steel dossier was so that was a political campaign

01:30:38.880 you can't say well he's in the administration well

01:30:42.560 barack obama and hillary clinton we have evidence that they were working to discredit

01:30:49.120 donald trump and his campaign the same way that people are accusing

01:30:54.320 uh donald trump using his administrative power to discredit joe biden

01:31:05.040 this is question number one why aren't why are they different can you explain how they're different

01:31:13.840 question number two holding back aid and then later releasing it to ukraine all of the money

01:31:20.640 and doing that only after that same administration had already delivered military support in a

01:31:29.040 javelin missile system is somehow not only impeachable but it shows support for russia

01:31:37.200 and u.s weakness towards a ukraine that's what they're saying now donald trump held this back which

01:31:43.840 was a clear sign to russia even though the ukrainians didn't know we were holding it back it somehow

01:31:50.800 the russians did and it was a sign that the united states was weak on ukraine and wasn't really going

01:31:59.280 to support them even though they had already given a missile system the second missile system

01:32:05.600 was held back for a couple of months however at the same time holding back all the military aid during an

01:32:19.280 actual conflict with ukraine the united states held back military support when ukraine was actually in the

01:32:30.640 military military conflict with russia that administration that was outwardly open working

01:32:39.360 towards a reset with russia and who had said during the 2012 election mr romney the 1980s called and they

01:32:48.080 want their foreign policy back that was not sending a signal of weakness on u.s support for ukraine

01:32:55.920 you can't have both you have to pick one or the other

01:33:10.880 by ukraine doing an investigation into corruption of u.s officials

01:33:18.400 by asking ukraine to do an investigation into corruption of u.s officials investigating what

01:33:24.960 happened to our seven billion dollar investment as well as looking into election tampering where

01:33:30.320 two ukrainian officials including the head of the anti-corruption bureau that was set up by the american

01:33:37.520 and ukrainian administration in a partnership the head one of the guys that was convicted was the head of

01:33:46.000 that bureau found guilty in a ukrainian court of law for tampering with the u.s elections

01:33:54.080 to throw it toward hillary by asking to investigate that would destroy the bipartisan support for ukraine

01:34:07.680 so does that mean that the democrats all know that ukraine

01:34:11.120 is corrupt and in their corner and so they will no longer support it to be free

01:34:15.680 because the democrats doing an investigation on trump's asking for this investigation

01:34:27.280 they say will not polarize ukraine in congress

01:34:34.640 because

01:34:35.040 i i don't understand how come one is an affront and the other is not one is bipartisan and one is not

01:34:45.120 one is impeachable and one is not this impeachment doesn't help russia

01:34:55.840 i'm only looking for consistency and i would love to hear somebody that can answer those questions

01:35:03.520 how is it impeachable to look into somebody's corrupt history if one side does it and it's

01:35:10.720 it's heroic if the other side does it and they're both in power and they're both running against

01:35:15.840 each other how's that work it's all flavored by the same thing which is they are going into this

01:35:23.440 with the assumption that donald trump is guilty of everything they're accusing him of he's this

01:35:27.600 really bad person who's doing these really bad things so therefore obviously if if he's doing these

01:35:33.200 things for these bad reasons he should be punished and it's okay it's a just investigation because

01:35:39.040 he's a bad guy doing bad things however biden isn't he's a good guy doing good things but if

01:35:45.600 you go into it with that prism of course you see it this way but then you have to then you have to

01:35:50.240 accept that the people who are holding the hearings themselves do not believe that all investigations are

01:35:57.600 just and they can't like this is such a weird line they're trying to draw with the biden part of

01:36:04.960 this anyone like they're trying to convict donald trump of in wanting to investigate his political opponents

01:36:15.520 but they are investigating their political opponents so what they're what they're saying here

01:36:20.720 and i just want to make this clear what they're saying here is all investigations are not equal

01:36:27.520 and all investigations done by our government are not just if that investigation went on it would not

01:36:35.840 be just and that's what they did with they did the same thing with benghazi exactly right

01:36:40.880 exactly right it's not those are good things people doing good things correct i just want people to connect with

01:36:46.880 that because what that means is there is no justice one size fits all there is there is one court that

01:36:56.800 could be very very just and one court that is very very evil we're not working on the same handbook we're

01:37:03.280 not working on the same set of rules if it's conducted by these people it's fine if it's not conducted by those

01:37:11.920 people it's not fine which means you better be careful on whose camp and whose side you're on

01:37:18.080 right and this is such a huge point and it's such a good one you bring up because

01:37:22.400 what they are proposing essentially is a system in which your political opponent has immunity for

01:37:29.200 anything they do you can't investigate them if you're a republican so any but but on the other side

01:37:36.400 you can do it with democrats it shows they have no moral consistency here at all because the idea

01:37:41.840 isn't well we you went after uh biden after knowing there was nothing there we all know there's big

01:37:49.360 questions right we all know there's big questions there though and even the new york times says that

01:37:54.560 they've all done it yeah they've all that now at this point they've all written big reports on this

01:37:58.480 whether this stuff was questioned and you know what's interesting is why haven't they called

01:38:02.880 uh john carrey's stepson yeah it's a great one john carrey's stepson comes out and says to hunter

01:38:10.480 biden i'm not doing this man i'm not going with the with the ukrainian thing this is crazy this is

01:38:18.080 really crazy you're gonna get nailed for this this is not good and he backs out and says i'm i just

01:38:25.840 want to make it really clear i'm not part of it well you know that john carrey heard that from his

01:38:31.920 son you know that he had to have gone to john carrey and said hey is this cool i mean really because

01:38:39.520 this doesn't seem right to me which means that he either didn't talk to his father or which i don't

01:38:45.920 believe or his father said stay way away from this one son stay way away he's on record

01:38:55.520 getting away from those two because he said to them you're in a different league here this is

01:39:03.280 really bad how come we're not hearing that because this isn't a hearing this isn't a trial this is an

01:39:12.160 inquisition all right if you've been thinking about home security there's no better time to get it than

01:40:42.560 all right uh welcome to the um welcome to the program uh the health intelligence committee is

01:40:57.120 going to resume shortly they've taken a break uh so they'll let the uh as soon as everybody's out

01:41:05.040 and you know on their lunch break or they're you know doing things this afternoon getting ready to go

01:41:10.320 home they're going to start this thing right back up so the republicans can have their time

01:41:15.120 oh yeah look it's the messaging here is simple we're going to be super fair we're going to make sure

01:41:20.560 both sides are heard uh it's a high priority for the house have you seen anything like this before

01:41:25.360 well i mean look they can't you know it is a partisan exercise and they have 100 of the power

01:41:31.680 to set these rules they don't have to do anything for the republicans doesn't that shouldn't that

01:41:36.320 frighten every decent democrat because if they want to railroad you they want to railroad your

01:41:43.200 industry they decide what's right and wrong they will do it any way they want 100 they will and the

01:41:51.360 thing here is which i find is interesting is not the fact that the democrats would bend the rules so

01:41:56.320 that they can you know manipulate this process into the best possible outcome for them that is not

01:42:03.920 particularly surprising to me what is surprising to me is they don't even seem to be attempting

01:42:10.320 to try to convince a non um left-wing person that this was going on correct because if you did

01:42:20.160 you would at least have on the face you'd say look this is fair we let them have these witnesses we

01:42:25.440 let them have these extra questioning we're going out of our way to let them present their case because

01:42:28.960 we know their case sucks so come on here make your case we'll argue about it and then once the 0.82

01:42:35.280 american people hear it they're going to go turn on public opinion and all those republican senators 0.97

01:42:40.000 over there are going to switch sides and vote on our side that's not what they're attempting to do

01:42:44.320 here and it's and it's so clear that they have nothing remember this is the tuesday before we all go

01:42:50.480 away for thanksgiving yeah okay next week it's done no one pays attention no one no one pays attention

01:42:56.480 next week no one really pays that much attention unless it's a nuclear explosion before christmas right

01:43:02.720 so they have taken their best shots last week was the time to put your a game on then this week put put

01:43:13.040 your b plus game on i have not heard anything that makes me or anyone i know go well now wait a minute

01:43:23.040 have you heard this how do you explain this i mean legitimately the biggest moment of this hearing so

01:43:27.680 far i mean this seriously is that uh one guy said one of his aides overheard trump asking about the thing

01:43:36.720 we know he asked about in the transcript right he followed up and said hey now we don't even i mean

01:43:41.600 do we know if that's true i have no idea but he overheard trump say hey what about those investigations

01:43:47.120 and then afterwards they said he cares more about the investigations than he does actually ukraine

01:43:52.240 which would actually make sense considering you know he's the president of the united states and

01:43:55.680 not the president of ukraine and when they and when they asked about uh hearsay the defense actually

01:44:02.720 said or the prosecution in this case actually said hearsay is some this quote hearsay is sometimes

01:44:10.480 better than first-hand knowledge when when can you give me an example of that when i mean i guess

01:44:20.800 maybe if the people if they're if they're accusing the the the first-hand people of lying i mean maybe

01:44:27.920 if they heard someone else heard the truth and those people are lying to cover something up but

01:44:31.600 sondland doesn't seem to be lying he doesn't seem to be on trump's side here i mean he's he's the one

01:44:36.000 that revised his own testimony to say yeah i did tell ukraine about a quid pro quo this is this is

01:44:41.120 a trump guy who said that now that doesn't mean that trump told him that per se but it is what

01:44:46.480 he communicated to ukraine so ukraine thought this was going on for sure unless we don't believe

01:44:51.280 sondland too the point here though is that like they are going this is all stuff that is that points to

01:45:00.320 um i think the overall narrative that we all understand which is donald trump legitimately

01:45:07.360 believed that there was something shady going on with the bidens you can say that yes you can

01:45:12.280 guesstimate and and guess about his motives and say it was 100 politics you can even say

01:45:17.340 he absolutely wanted that information 100 to destroy joe biden however however it was also in the u.s 0.72

01:45:25.540 interest if the freaking vice president of the united states is over making shady deals to enrich 0.59

01:45:30.380 his children that is completely in the u.s interest it's our money of course it's in the u.s interests 0.94

01:45:36.380 now it does that align with uh his personal interest sure and if you can find examples of him oh you know

01:45:44.320 something really hardcore not some aid overhearing a an analysis of another individual of what he cares

01:45:53.240 about i'm talking about actual evidence if you have that that's one thing on the other side of this

01:45:58.680 the same thing can be said about joe biden yes it may have been in the u.s interest to go after these

01:46:03.540 prosecutors who knows but in reality it also just happened to help his son make eighty three thousand

01:46:10.080 dollars at a month at a job he had no right having of course that's something that's in the u.s

01:46:14.920 interest to look into that of course it is you're listening to glenn beck i'll tell you about sandra

01:46:25.080 she was having trouble sleeping for a very long time because all through the night she'd wake up

01:46:28.700 in pain and the problem was the inflammation in her joints you know that achy feeling you get when 0.66

01:46:33.620 you have the flu one of the most miserable things sandra was experiencing every night there was she 0.70

01:46:40.760 didn't have any hope that it was going to change she thought this is it and she was really starting

01:46:45.500 to despair and be a little bummed out but then a friend told her about relief factor sandra was

01:46:51.360 skeptical she was also desperate so when you have little to lose and a lot to gain if if something

01:46:58.920 works she's decided i'm going to take it she's decided she was taken just for a few days her pain

01:47:04.720 she says began to melt away now she's sleeping like an angel every night relief technically i don't

01:47:10.640 know if angels sleep but relief factor and if they do what if they're on a different time zone than us

01:47:15.140 and my guardian angels is only awake when i'm asleep that's anyway relief factor reduces the

01:47:20.940 inflammation the major source for most pain and you can get it for 1995 a three-week quick start right

01:47:27.080 now drug-free natural way to ease your pain and get your life back go to relieffactor.com

01:47:33.520 that's relieffactor.com

01:47:36.460 more on the impeachment and everything that happens today at blaze tv.com

01:47:43.440 with glenn on tv if you use the promo code glenn you will save 10 bucks

01:47:47.400 you

01:48:03.520 yeah all right uh welcome to the uh program glad you're here i i you know um they've they've been

01:48:15.820 trying really hard to make this into watergate but let me just go through a series of questions

01:48:21.480 uh about watergate stew what is uh what was watergate all about uh

01:48:30.500 uh well what is watergate it's a hotel it's a hotel in washington yep they broke into it and

01:48:35.820 tried to you know get some information on the who broke into it they were oddly up by like 30 points

01:48:40.740 right who broke in uh the underlings of the president the the committee to re-elect the president

01:48:47.180 the committee to re-elect the president broke in they hired a bunch of people to go in in the middle

01:48:53.020 of the night okay yep and break into the watergate what were they looking for i mean any information

01:48:58.800 on their political opponent okay and not necessarily dirt just anything what are they doing they're

01:49:04.720 running anything exactly right where what what are the what are their polls look like anything okay

01:49:09.780 what was the president's role that we know of i mean at that point nothing right i mean it wasn't

01:49:15.800 until afterwards i mean he's in trouble for covering it up afterward okay and how did he try to cover

01:49:21.820 it up i mean using all sorts of uh levers of the government government assets yes right okay cia

01:49:29.120 doj etc etc using government assets to cover up a crime committed in his name or in his interest for

01:49:39.200 pure political reasons and all they were looking for was political dirt right yes national interest

01:49:46.800 uh of anything that would have been found that they thought was their national interest value

01:49:54.540 none unless your only argument is the nixon really needed to be president that was their only argument

01:50:01.080 right there's no national no national interest value it's political value only at all got it

01:50:06.100 all right let me just change a few factors of watergate and see if it changes anything because

01:50:12.500 they're trying to compare it like crazy oh yeah they're they're saying it's the same thing except

01:50:15.980 worse okay well let me just change a few of the things let's say at the watergate hotel is the

01:50:24.900 ukrainian ambassador's residence okay and in his safe is information of electioneering uh corruption by u.s

01:50:38.220 officials at the highest level all the way to the previous president uh that there is uh evidence of

01:50:45.840 of money laundering money that was u.s aid dollars that were laundered by criminals over in ukraine and

01:50:55.800 found its way back here into the united states and you had credible witnesses that worked in and around

01:51:03.880 that embassy and witnessed these things but it involved several people in and around uh the

01:51:13.080 intelligence agencies the department of state and even people in your administration know about it and

01:51:19.340 are covering it up let's say that that's what's in that safe in watergate and the president

01:51:28.400 says to a couple of people doj and cia spooks and says look i can't trust anybody i can trust you

01:51:35.600 i need you to go in and break into that safe because i believe there is evidence of massive

01:51:44.160 corruption in our government and we're about to sell them javelin missiles break into the safe

01:51:51.720 impeachable well no because that's clearly in the u.s interest right i mean he's not there's not a

01:51:59.220 it's not a political reason he's doing that it's a it's in the u.s interest let's say that safe was not

01:52:06.280 in the embassy or the ambassador's house but instead that was in the safe of a guy he was going to run

01:52:13.420 against he had saved all that information uh to use against other people and to keep himself safe

01:52:21.520 so he had all the evidence of everything in his safe but he was the campaign uh that was against

01:52:29.540 the sitting president it wouldn't make a difference right if it's if they've committed crimes against

01:52:34.220 the united states obviously we're summarizing that the president could just ask people to bring in a

01:52:38.740 safe you know i mean like would he be in favor of this investigation of course and would it be

01:52:43.180 justified yes and would the american as soon as trump is out of office you're going to see all of

01:52:48.300 these things happen the democrats are going to go into break into every little corner of safe that

01:52:52.720 they can think of in this analogy to get at donald trump and all the things they believe he did

01:52:57.780 right right you're also going to see i think eventually you will see all of the dirt come out and

01:53:04.720 you will see that in that safe if you will was all the evidence was all the evidence because now

01:53:11.740 what we have is a president who they're trying to compare to nixon who was breaking into the dnc

01:53:17.100 instead breaking into a safe that has all of the evidence he brings it out he even tells people before

01:53:26.120 he does it somebody should look into that safe somebody should look into that safe he instructs people

01:53:33.340 in his own departments somebody should look into that safe nobody does finally two people that work

01:53:41.100 at that house go to the president's attorney and says you know that everything is in that safe right

01:53:47.820 yes and we've been trying to get people well we can help you get it really yes then that attorney

01:53:57.100 goes on air and says i got two people who's helped me break into this safe okay that's not a good that's

01:54:04.660 not a smooth criminal i i have two people that are going to help me break into this safe and get all this

01:54:09.840 information they do it then that same attorney brings it to the justice department and says ah by the

01:54:18.680 way i broke into the safe and here's what i found how could you possibly in your right mind say oh they

01:54:30.520 were trying to get away with this they they told everybody what they were going to do breaking into

01:54:36.460 the safe they asked other people to go to the safe then when they broke into the safe and they got

01:54:41.260 all the information they brought it to the authorities it seems to me like something is in that safe

01:54:50.880 that very powerful people more powerful in the collective than the president of the united states

01:54:59.020 do not want coming out the state department the cia the justice department the media the dnc

01:55:09.920 none of them want this to come out it's fascinating i mean the double the double standard is uh so clear

01:55:18.220 on this one think about this glenn the main thing about just go back to the simple form of this with

01:55:24.280 joe biden potentially enriching his kid because of u.s policy right yeah very basic thing this is

01:55:30.360 something he wants to look into right that is impeachable for using any that is an impeachable

01:55:37.200 offense for the president united states remember think about like the way and many many democrats

01:55:43.380 have called for this already investigations of how donald trump and his policies have benefited

01:55:50.160 his children oh yeah it is legitimately like they wanted kellyanne conway charged with a hatch i think

01:55:57.900 it was a was it a is it the hatch act that i'm thinking yes yeah because she said ivanka trump's

01:56:03.820 clothing line was good and you should go buy some remember that they wanted an investigation

01:56:09.040 and and they wanted to charge her because she said that on television because they said oh well

01:56:16.600 this administration is trying to benefit their children so but they have no interest in the

01:56:20.120 biden thing whatsoever so who is it that is using the levers of government like nixon

01:56:24.720 and who's using the levers of government like the guy trying to break into the ambassador's safe

01:56:33.880 it's very very clear which which one is uh uh happening hang on just a second we have some

01:56:41.040 breaking uh we have some breaking news uh can we are we going to uh stop for the breaking news

01:56:47.840 uh oh we do okay we have an update on fart investigation 2019 oh fart fart fart investigation

01:56:56.040 fart investigation yes fart gate being investigated fart gate which is eric swalwell farting on national 0.59

01:57:02.720 television or did he right well this is the big controversy i i will tell you it took a lot to

01:57:09.240 restrain myself but i did restrain myself on twitter yesterday because i thought there's no way that fart 0.81

01:57:13.980 is somebody just added that fart onto that and i wasn't going to be a part of that but now i find

01:57:20.860 out and this is real i come in the morning and yes that sound was not added later this is the original

01:57:27.700 clip with eric swalwell and chris matthews uh you'll hear eric talking and then somebody just rips one in

01:57:34.120 the middle of the statement and you see a physical reaction by swalwell but that is that misleading people

01:57:41.800 from the real facts behind the story here's the evidence is uncontradicted that the president used

01:57:48.760 taxpayer dollars to ask the ukrainians to help him cheat an election dollars to ask the ukrainians to

01:57:54.060 help him cheat an election looks like he pushes it out with the e like it's yeah i mean he's just

01:58:00.340 through the election and that was what pushes it out it does look like it does look like it does look

01:58:05.620 likely now looks can be deceiving yes now chris matthews it i was going to present this the way

01:58:13.360 that the alternate theory is is developing chris matthews he's back in studio he knows it's not eric

01:58:19.220 swalwell eric swalwell's taking all the heat for it so what does he do swalwell's going to call him

01:58:23.480 out and said you're the guy that farted matthews you're the guy who farted on television and matthews 0.88

01:58:27.960 has to come out and release a statement saying no it wasn't swalwell or swalwell will come out with

01:58:33.160 the truth so what he does is he said oh it was a mug we've already tried to uh to simulate the

01:58:38.040 mug do you want to give us another quick mug simulation here's a mug on my desk here it is

01:58:42.860 does not sound like a fart does not sound like a fart what does not sound like a fart we know that

01:58:48.880 okay well investigations are going on and information is coming out and there have maybe

01:58:53.660 been some other situations where chris matthews has farted on the air during interviews don't believe

01:59:00.120 it that would be the normal stance and it would be one i would understand right okay okay all right

01:59:05.560 but let me just present the evidence all right go ahead here is clip number one and said that when

01:59:10.680 he pleaded guilty to these charges in the southern district of new york but what's different is today

01:59:15.240 is that now you heard that that sounded very similar to the cup across the desk it did sound a lot like

01:59:22.140 the cup across the desk what is this desk made out of like i don't understand fart sounding material of

01:59:28.100 some sort not a thing right okay okay all right next clip another clip of chris matthews doing an

01:59:33.460 interview listen don't you wow what a critique and with me now is scott arsenal he's the executive

01:59:37.340 director of the florida democratic party and bob schrump is a democratic strategist has been through a lot

01:59:41.940 of these races scott just give me the skinny here can we get a clean fair honest now have these been added

01:59:49.980 because it sounds like they've been added i don't know i'm not told this is a real investigation i don't i

01:59:55.920 don't i don't know your source of who is collecting fart sounds from chris matthews many sources around

02:00:04.560 the internet actually okay so there's another one here's another one you're taking the president

02:00:08.200 of the united states down into it so that really depends on how it's ultimately structured if they

02:00:12.840 were able to make some sort of it i mean you're i'm hearing them i'm hearing them too and i will tell

02:00:19.560 you he is at that point to where he's an old man he's very old glenn yeah and sometimes when you hit

02:00:27.800 that age that starts with a one and then has a two after it and then there's like a three or four after

02:00:33.160 that things are hard to control right i mean like it's not chris's fault per se i mean if when i get

02:00:39.600 into that situation i'm going to be saying to you know doris kerns goodwin pull my finger right i mean

02:00:45.660 you just go for it i'll just go for it i'll just go for it but uh but chris is i think so what you're

02:00:51.300 saying here in this fart investigation is that don't be so hasty uh it's probably not swalwell yeah

02:00:58.480 and so people are blaming swalwell and look he's had a rough year uh you know there's an argument to

02:01:04.280 be made that the fart in question lasted longer than his campaign right and that's not good smelt about

02:01:10.040 the same maybe maybe better however uh as much as i think swalwell is a funny target of this

02:01:18.760 number one i want the truth okay that's what we're about that's what we're about right okay that's

02:01:25.180 number one number two i feel like chris matthews might be a better target no one knows who eric

02:01:29.980 swalwell is no one cares eric swalwell kind of came and went and no one's gonna ever hear from the guy

02:01:35.600 again chris matthews is is a guy i kind of want to believe farts on the air i want it to be true

02:01:42.260 and therefore it should tell you this i mean is this a i had to work in an atmosphere with an old

02:01:49.400 man that was farting all the time because i think there's a lesser me too movement that could be had

02:01:56.780 me number two movement yeah i mean no he didn't touch me or grope me or anything like that right but

02:02:03.300 he farted around me all the time especially during interviews this is why you notice none of these

02:02:10.220 interviews are guests in studio they've all booked it to be outside you know tomorrow we might do a we

02:02:15.660 might do an expose on this and we ask you tomorrow to just wear a green brownish greenish uh ribbon uh

02:02:24.360 on your on your lapel tomorrow in support you can hear did you hear that yeah no i

02:02:33.240 play it one more time i

02:02:34.660 this is not a borderline issue that's a montage of all three clips okay i

02:02:42.620 am actually paying people to make fart montages uh i am re-evaluating a fartage

02:02:49.220 a fartage thank you thank you steward appreciate what you bring to the table today uh all right
