00:01:08.680 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:01:11.780 I'm just tearing the paper apart here today, trying to find out what it is we're going to talk about.

00:01:22.060 You know, normally days like today, sort of a holiday, slow news day, but that hasn't been so for a while.

00:03:06.840 Yeah, you know, normally when you're trying to put together a holiday show, I feel like I'm always in honor, by the way, but normally it's a little slower paced, you know, and I don't know if there's hazard pay involved today or not, but normally you're talking about things.

00:03:33.200 It's this time of year, well, it's fireworks stories.

00:03:36.920 I mean, there's still plenty of those, you know, but this Yahoo blew off his finger or that one.

00:03:43.080 In fact, there are some good fireworks stories.

00:03:45.820 So try and make some room for those, some wild things that have happened with fireworks.

00:03:51.600 One that I think set off, it's a glorious, it's like a Clark Griswold moment.

00:03:56.820 There's one out there, and honestly, it's kind of prophetic because it, it's sort of, to me, it's a great picture of what's happening to this country right now.

00:04:05.360 There's one firework that essentially, I don't know if there was a snafu, the whole thing went up, the whole show in like a matter of a minute.

00:04:16.780 But instead of, instead of, it's supposed to be timed and precision, all with a computer and all that, but it all went off at the same, it was glorious.

00:04:27.520 It's absolutely glorious to watch.

00:04:29.660 And I feel like that's what we're watching with the country right now as well.

00:04:34.820 It's a bit of a dumpster fire.

00:04:36.440 But that's what we're supposed to be talking about right now, the cost of the, the 4th of July meal and things of that nature.

00:04:45.400 But that's, that's not where we are, is it?

00:04:47.780 No, we've got full speed ahead of five alarm, four alarm, I don't know, I mean, whatever, how many alarms, all the alarms on the fire right now.

00:04:56.300 And it is, it is a dumpster fire.

00:04:58.560 It is.

00:04:59.140 Every day I say it's like we're drinking from a fire hose.

00:05:02.060 Because every day there's another story and all the, it just, all of it continues to pile up one after the other.

00:05:10.280 And it's crazy.

00:05:11.660 You almost can't stay on top of it.

00:05:13.700 And I do this for a living.

00:05:15.060 That's the nutty part of it.

00:05:17.240 I'm coming to you from the great state of Michigan, the Mitten, where I host a couple of programs.

00:05:23.160 One, Detroit's News Talk Superstation, 9, 10 a.m.

00:05:26.440 I do the morning show there, 6 to 9.

00:05:29.340 And then on Wood Radio, that's News Radio, Wood 1300 and 106.9 FM in Grand Rapids, 9 to 10.

00:05:35.800 And I do four and a half hours.

00:05:38.300 I do an after show podcast after I do all that.

00:05:40.840 Four and a half hours every day, and it's still not enough time to get to everything.

00:05:47.040 So I long, I yearn for the days, the quiet days.

00:05:51.040 I'm looking at the stories yesterday and thought to myself, boy, it sure is a slow news day.

00:05:58.040 Whatever shall we talk about?

00:06:00.000 And, I mean, just looking at some of the things that are happening.

00:06:04.220 Of course, the Biden story.

00:06:06.640 Probably the biggest story.

00:06:07.700 You have a president, commander-in-chief, who's not in command of all of his faculties.

00:06:11.500 You've got a guy who's clearly going through it, dementia, whatever, I don't know, you can determine that for yourself.

00:06:21.200 He's not altogether there, and he hasn't been for quite some time.

00:06:24.320 And that makes you really concerned, not just because of the politics that's taken the race and folks are looking at it.

00:06:32.360 The bigger thing for me is the guy's got his finger on the button, so to speak.

00:06:36.540 He's the one that's supposed to have the codes and all that, but I guess the, maybe the good news is he probably wouldn't remember the codes if he had to launch.

00:06:47.560 So we're not going to accidentally get us into a, but the world is watching.

00:06:52.880 That's the thing about the debate I saw the other day.

00:06:54.520 The world is watching.

00:06:55.480 That's just, not just us.

00:06:58.020 Putin saw it.

00:06:58.920 Xi saw it.

00:06:59.720 Putin, Kim Jong-un, all the folks in Iran, they all, and all the people that want to do this country damage and harm, they all saw what you and I saw.

00:07:10.260 So I've got, I've got rumors galore.

00:07:13.140 There are a lot of questions.

00:07:13.980 Is he in, is he out?

00:07:14.820 We've got all of that.

00:07:16.740 I'm going to break some of that apart.

00:07:18.000 There's some, there's even, there's even one that's a glorious conspiracy theory.

00:07:23.600 I mean, this one, and I love a good conspiracy theory.

00:07:26.640 I'll get the tinfoil hat on with you.

00:07:28.640 I'll go down in the bunker.

00:07:30.720 I do.

00:07:32.600 I just, most of them, I, I, I can pretty much, you know, I can tell you like in a matter of moments whether that's legit or not.

00:07:40.800 I can, but I do enjoy the critical thinking.

00:07:45.960 So I'll go down to the bunker with you coming up because there's a glory, there's a big, bad conspiracy theory out there.

00:07:52.420 That's a good one.

00:07:53.100 That's actually being floated right now.

00:07:55.040 I think it was Newsmax.

00:07:58.020 Talk to a professor.

00:08:02.760 I'll figure out where he's, I can't remember where he's from, but he's got the conspiracy theory to beat all conspiracy theories right now about what is really going on and where this is all headed with, with Biden.

00:08:16.480 You know, because the, the, the question is, and has been over the last, I don't know, uh, week now since the debate is the guy getting out.

00:08:27.060 Because you think to yourself, there's just no way after everything you saw in that debate, there's just no way.

00:08:34.220 And by the way, we have fresh audio for you today.

00:08:36.640 We have fresh clips, fresh cuts, freshly squeezed just for you.

00:08:42.260 Actually from yesterday, these are fresh and ready to go.

00:08:47.300 Some of them as, uh, as recent as just last night in the, in the fireworks, different kind of fireworks show at the white house this year.

00:08:57.420 Um, he's desperately clinging to power.

00:09:00.040 Everything I hear behind the scenes is he doesn't want to go.

00:09:03.220 And what I mean by that is that Jill doesn't want to go.

00:09:06.280 And the rest of the family, they are, you know, I'm not telling you anything you don't know, but they are desperately clinging to power.

00:09:13.500 But it's not only that, there is unfortunately for this family, a threat of prosecution.

00:09:18.840 And when I say prosecution, I mean, further prosecution because Hunter's already rapped at it.

00:09:25.080 Uh, by the way, did you see the convicted felon, Hunter Biden convicted felon attending briefings and whatnot inside the white house with Joey sitting next to him?

00:09:34.560 He doesn't trust the aides apparently.

00:09:36.300 And so Hunter's there asking questions, taking notes.

00:09:40.920 I know they're probably selling that information off to the highest bidder.

00:09:46.920 Just question.

00:09:47.700 Is he getting classified briefings?

00:09:49.340 That's a question that, that, that, that ling lingers out there as well.

00:09:52.820 I would think.

00:09:53.320 Is he getting classified briefings?

00:09:57.040 Somebody does he has a security clearance?

00:09:59.860 Somebody want to look, take a look at that.

00:10:01.500 Well, it's all part of the question of, of what's happening again.

00:10:07.200 Um, they're, they're clinging to power because of the pardon.

00:10:10.440 Obviously it's not just Hunter, but it's the entire family that's implicated in this mess.

00:10:15.160 It's the Biden crime family.

00:10:18.780 And yes, they are all implicated in what's essentially been going on behind the scenes.

00:10:25.040 That's, that's, that's, that's part of, that's part of what this is about.

00:10:31.360 But there's another whole other group of folks.

00:10:34.800 In fact, I believe there's dueling or battling factions inside the party right now.

00:10:39.520 You've got Biden and his family and they are entrenched.

00:10:44.880 They've dug their hills in.

00:10:46.220 Dr. Jill doesn't want to go anywhere.

00:10:49.820 In fact, she, she does go.

00:10:52.700 She's out campaigning for jobs.

00:10:54.360 She was just in Michigan just the other day.

00:10:57.100 Something interesting happened when she was here.

00:10:59.920 It's, it's not what she did.

00:11:02.540 It's what she didn't do. 0.64

00:11:03.840 That is, uh, truly fascinating.

00:11:07.840 It gives us a look, a window into what is really happening with the Democrats right now in this election.

00:11:14.840 And, uh, and look, Republicans have their fair share of battling dumpster fires as well.

00:11:20.360 We have, we, we do our, our, our fair share there too.

00:11:23.520 Plenty.

00:11:24.160 But Democrats, a lot of times it happens behind the scenes.

00:11:26.800 What you're starting to see now is it's leaking out into the open and, uh, we're starting to really get a glimpse as what's, what's happening.

00:11:35.780 The knives are out.

00:11:37.080 So I mentioned the Bidens.

00:11:38.900 You've also got the Obamas.

00:11:40.460 You've got the Clintons in there too, but the donor class may be the, the biggest threat or the biggest issue right now as, uh, is a look at what is going to happen moving forward.

00:11:52.800 I mean, not just what is, or what can, or what, what's even possible at this point, because there are a lot of constrictions on timelines.

00:12:00.660 There are a lot of constrictions on laws, state laws, and then the rules of the party and what they might do at the, at the convention.

00:12:08.620 But aside from all that, you've also got whether the Democrats, the donors, that is, they have any stomach for all of this.

00:12:16.680 And, uh, that money, uh, at least what we're hearing right now is starting to dry up.

00:12:22.240 They're trying to figure out how they can push Joe out because if he's dug in, there really is no moving forward on this.

00:12:31.240 Unless you come up with a 25th amendment or, and that's, there's a lot of loyalists in the cabinet.

00:12:38.900 That might be tough to do.

00:12:41.280 I'm not saying, I'm not saying it can't happen.

00:12:46.420 Unfortunately, everything that we're watching these days and people ask me, what do you think is going to happen?

00:12:50.560 I don't know.

00:12:51.500 I can't tell you a lot of times, uh, anything's possible.

00:12:55.400 Now we've, we've, we've now the window that Overton window is just, I think it's been ripped wide open.

00:13:01.680 It's hanging by a thread at this point and it's flapping in the breeze.

00:13:06.960 So I don't know what could happen.

00:13:08.620 I'm just telling you that all bets are off, but the donors play a big role here.

00:13:13.380 So I'm going to get into some of these stories in just a moment.

00:13:16.560 We'll take a quick break and be back with more.

00:13:19.220 We got a, we got a jam packed show for you today.

00:13:21.760 Byron Donalds will join us.

00:13:23.080 Congressman Byron Donalds, who's one of the VP, uh, shortlist folks, uh, for Trump VP.

00:13:28.420 We're also going to be hearing from Julie Kelly, who has been fantastic on top of all of these cases, Supreme Court, uh, issues, as well as, uh, the January 6th Trump cases, all of it.

00:13:39.440 She'll, uh, she'll give us a rundown of what we've learned and more, some surprises tucked in as well.

00:13:45.340 Barkley in for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck program.

00:13:48.780 Back after this.

00:13:49.640 With our endless money printing and record debt, protecting wealth is more challenging than ever.

00:13:55.640 And if Biden is reelected, he's promised to make it nearly impossible.

00:13:59.100 The gold standard for wealth preservation has always been gold or silver, precious metals.

00:14:03.840 I strongly urge you to put a portion of your retirement portfolio in gold and silver.

00:14:08.160 I know, I know.

00:14:08.580 It's a tough decision.

00:14:09.280 And who should you work with to buy gold?

00:14:11.280 The company that you can trust is Lear Capital.

00:14:13.200 With over 27 years of experience, thousands of five-star reviews, plus $3 billion in trusted transactions, Lear is the gold and silver industry leader now.

00:14:21.560 Lear is the first company that I trusted to buy gold from some 20 years ago.

00:14:25.000 My investment has quadrupled.

00:14:26.460 Join me and the thousands of satisfied customers who decided to swap some of our dollars for gold.

00:14:30.740 Seriously, what are you waiting for?

00:14:31.920 Call Lear Capital today, 800-889-3070.

00:14:35.140 Get your free gold guide and an IRA investor's kit.

00:14:38.220 When you call, make sure you ask, how do you get up to $15,000 in bonus gold or silver with a qualifying purchase?

00:14:43.680 800-889-3070.

00:14:45.620 Call 800-889-3070.

00:14:48.360 Remember, 800-889-3070.

00:14:50.880 All right, so there was a big meeting that kind of quietly happened behind the scenes the other day.

00:15:06.760 They didn't talk about it, but it was all hush-hush, closed door, and it was all the Democrat governors.

00:15:13.980 Justin Barclay in for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck program.

00:15:17.200 All the Democrat governors that met with Biden in the White House and essentially laid it out for him.

00:15:25.560 I mean, it was a come to Jesus, but it was also sort of, and it had to be, I think, strategically done.

00:15:32.100 Because each of these governors, you have to remember, while they are going to be as eager as they can to knife Biden here or there,

00:15:43.460 or wherever they can, or anyone, anyone who stands in their way, because each of them has that, well, they have that ambition to reach higher office.

00:15:54.440 And whether the window is now or, again, in 2028, each of these governors is taking a look.

00:15:59.680 In fact, we're going to dive into this coming up a little bit later in the bottom of the hour.

00:16:02.940 One of the possibilities, and dig into who might else be on that list, and who I think the obvious choice, they really have no choice.

00:16:15.720 But we can get into that a little bit later.

00:16:17.260 These governors, they essentially came, and they even said this in front of the cameras.

00:16:22.500 Oh, we told them what our constituents, we told them what our, we've listened to the people, and this is the concerns that the people have.

00:16:27.760 And essentially, the difference is the news media turned.

00:16:32.000 And make no mistake, that was not by chance.

00:16:35.780 They got the green light.

00:16:36.920 Someone, somewhere, gave them the green light.

00:16:39.080 Chances are that's Obama.

00:16:43.460 He's the one who still has tentacles inside the media.

00:16:48.340 And maybe donor concerns as well.

00:16:51.940 So they have this, but we'll talk more about that here in just a moment.

00:16:55.000 But they had this meeting, they come out, and they say, we told them what they're going to, out of this, out of this meeting comes some really interesting stuff.

00:17:02.520 Biden admits he's tired and needs to work less.

00:17:08.540 The guy's on vacation 30, 40% of the time.

00:17:11.700 Anyway, he's at the beach.

00:17:14.060 These 20 governors met with Biden at the White House.

00:17:16.840 He says, I'm tired.

00:17:18.000 I got to just, it's just my brain.

00:17:19.940 He says, no, it's not just your brain.

00:17:22.720 That's a big deal.

00:17:24.920 We need your brain.

00:17:26.220 If you're the president of the United States, you need that brain more than anything else.

00:17:29.840 They, of course, blamed it on jet lag.

00:17:32.500 You know, the other thing they blamed it on?

00:17:34.340 Cold.

00:17:34.820 He had a cold.

00:17:35.600 Maybe it was some cold medicine.

00:17:38.840 Maybe it was just a cold.

00:17:40.180 Maybe he needed a little more sleep.

00:17:41.480 He had, what was it, over a week to prepare and could have rested and all of these, you know, I've been jet lagged, been jet setting.

00:17:49.680 All of these things.

00:17:51.240 And, of course, I don't think anybody buying it.

00:17:55.200 Just my brain.

00:17:56.380 He says they're going to stop scheduling events post 8 p.m.

00:18:04.980 Post 8 p.m.

00:18:06.100 No more post 8 p.m. events for Biden.

00:18:10.560 I, um, anyway.

00:18:17.440 So if you want to attack anyway, I guess that's what you know.

00:18:20.960 You got to do it after 8 p.m.

00:18:22.420 And he'll be, he'll be on point.

00:18:27.600 But they did, they did a big one last night, which is kind of interesting.

00:18:30.700 We've got some of the audio video coming out of the big fireworks and 4th of July extravaganza.

00:18:37.060 All right.

00:18:37.580 So that brings us to the, the essential, I think, probably the most important piece here in what happens.

00:18:45.240 Does he stay or does he go?

00:18:46.280 So, um, I, I really, I do hope he stays.

00:18:56.940 I just think, uh, I just think it's, it's a much easier contest if he does.

00:19:03.060 In fact, I believe it's no contest.

00:19:05.000 Pardon me for the election.

00:19:06.540 Hope he stays.

00:19:07.100 Uh, but for the good of the country, I then wonder to myself, is he capable of discharging his duties as a commander in chief?

00:19:15.160 So that's a, that's a solid and a fair question.

00:19:20.100 But, you know, anybody, anybody that comes in next, are they going to be as damaged or, and I don't mean that in the brain way.

00:19:31.360 I just mean that in the polling sense, uh, you know, you bring somebody fresh in and it's a whole different battle folks.

00:19:38.680 You have to be, we have to be realistic about it.

00:19:40.880 I understand we've had a lot of good breaks lately.

00:19:42.880 A lot of great things going our way, but we have to be realistic when you bring somebody fresh or somebody new in.

00:19:49.620 And by the way, this is what the donors realize.

00:19:51.740 They don't have any time or Republicans and the Trump campaign, uh, in the media that we do have on our,

00:20:00.120 don't have enough time to do enough of the damage when it comes to producing, creating negative, um, images of that individual.

00:20:11.500 Uh, and so that's why this is, this is such an important, you can bring a fresh face in it.

00:20:18.140 By the way, this is what I believe, uh, the country wants more than anything else.

00:20:22.440 They want a fresh face and they've wanted it.

00:20:24.240 I think you look at the folks in the middle, they're calling them the normies, but you know, the soccer moms, 0.99

00:20:29.720 the people that aren't even paying attention, that's, I may have saw the debate.

00:20:32.540 They certainly saw the fallout from it, but they're not really paying attention.

00:20:37.560 They're, they're, they're, they're enjoying summer right now.

00:20:40.800 They're doing everything that the normal average every day, people that get engaged, maybe at the end,

00:20:44.680 these are the swing voters.

00:20:45.920 These are the people that independence, whoever they just sort of float with the wind.

00:20:52.400 Those people will buy in.

00:20:55.420 They want a fresh face because, and here's why they feel like whoever it might be, they

00:21:00.060 just want to change.

00:21:00.840 They want something different.

00:21:01.580 Whoever that might be is going to give them peace and calm and just cut the chaos.

00:21:08.040 Here's the flaw in that thinking.

00:21:10.900 It is not going to get any better.

00:21:12.620 It's only going to get worse from here on out, but the donors, the donors are trying to

00:21:17.140 do their best to pull the money.

00:21:18.540 In fact, one of the things that they want to do right now, and they're talking about

00:21:21.760 this.

00:21:22.180 In fact, Rahm Emanuel's brother, Ari, out in Aspen in Colorado, big elitist think tank

00:21:28.300 thing out there talking about this, how they're going to pull money from Biden's campaign and

00:21:32.780 start putting it to down ballot races.

00:21:34.820 We're going to talk more about that and dig in.

00:21:36.860 Who might some of these replacements be?

00:21:39.060 One, it probably definitely won't be after she stepped in it big time.

00:21:44.460 Coming up next, bottom of the hour, we'll have our conversation.

00:24:25.660 Times.

00:24:27.540 B-A-R-C-L-A-Y. 1.00

00:24:29.340 We're talking about Biden.

00:24:31.160 We're talking about whether he stays or goes.

00:24:33.380 In fact, there's a big interview tonight.

00:24:35.200 George Snuffleupagus on ABC is going to sit down for just a hardball, I'm sure.

00:24:43.520 Well, it'd be interesting to see.

00:24:44.820 I guess we're going to find out whether George plays ball with Biden or Obama.

00:24:48.500 We'll see whoever, however it goes.

00:24:51.980 The media's turned on him, so we'll see if he gets the tough questions or not.

00:24:57.080 The interesting thing about the interview is that it is taped.

00:25:00.560 It is recorded.

00:25:01.380 Sometime today, we're going to get the transcript.

00:25:04.640 And I haven't checked.

00:25:05.480 I don't see if we have it yet, but we're going to get the transcript of the interview.

00:25:10.420 One of the questions, the thoughts people were wondering about this is would he use this

00:25:17.080 time?

00:25:17.560 Would it possibly be that he might use this time to step down or aside, at the very least,

00:25:25.800 and say, you know, for the sake of the country, whatever he might say, then I'm going to step

00:25:31.960 aside.

00:25:32.400 And what happens next?

00:25:33.320 So I'm hearing some question about that and whether it might be either today or maybe

00:25:40.340 even next week or whatever that is.

00:25:43.660 There, again, are lots of reports from inside the White House.

00:25:47.340 And, of course, like I said, Jill and the rest of the family, they don't want to go anywhere.

00:25:51.420 They get their heels dug in.

00:25:56.800 The knives are out.

00:25:58.280 That's for sure.

00:25:59.000 Inside the Democrat Party.

00:26:00.480 Joining us now to talk a little bit about it.

00:26:02.100 She ran for governor here in Michigan. 1.00

00:26:04.100 So she's keenly aware of one of the folks whose name has been tossed about here and there.

00:26:11.240 But after what has happened this last week or so, I don't know if that name is still in

00:26:17.960 the running or not.

00:26:19.440 After everything that's sort of happened, she's stepped in it.

00:26:23.740 And we'll talk about that coming up.

00:26:25.220 Tudor Dixon is joining us now.

00:26:27.020 It's got a podcast, TudorDixon.com as well.

00:26:29.880 Tudor, always a pleasure.

00:26:31.040 Thank you so much for taking the time to talk about Big Gretch.

00:26:35.600 She's got a big book coming out.

00:26:37.240 And as the governor of Michigan, she certainly made a name for herself here. 0.99

00:26:42.040 And she's starting to make a similar name in the national scene as she's kind of stepped

00:26:49.020 in it recently.

00:26:50.620 Yeah, absolutely.

00:26:51.880 Thanks for having me today.

00:26:53.660 Yeah, she has stepped in it recently because she strategically timed a book to come out on 0.67

00:27:01.220 Monday of next week, right after the debate, which is very strange because if you think

00:27:06.240 about it, politicians have one reason for releasing a book, and that's because they want the nation

00:27:11.840 to notice them for the next big race.

00:27:14.620 So everybody says, what a genius.

00:27:17.400 She released this book knowing that there was the potential that Biden could end up getting

00:27:22.420 kicked off the ticket.

00:27:24.160 But that backfired because once they saw, once the public saw how truly bad it was, the other

00:27:31.140 Democrats in leadership went, what are you doing?

00:27:34.360 You are making this look like you are already ready to kick him off, that you want him to

00:27:40.500 be one foot in the grave, that you are not a supporter of this president.

00:27:44.580 And then she starts tweeting out, hey, I support Joe Biden.

00:27:48.900 Give to my PAC, not his PAC, not to their campaign, not to Kamala, to Big Gretch.

00:27:57.840 And people started to go, wait a minute, this is actually not about him at all.

00:28:02.540 This is not about the Democrats at all.

00:28:04.580 This is purely about power for one person, which, you know, Justin, has always been the

00:28:10.360 case here in Michigan.

00:28:11.780 This is a person who has always been out for the next job and always for herself.

00:28:15.900 In fact, when we were running, we said, watch her.

00:28:19.120 She doesn't care about Michigan.

00:28:20.860 She won't be in Michigan after she gets reelected. 0.89

00:28:23.640 And sure enough, she wasn't.

00:28:25.640 She started traveling to other countries on our dime to try to show that she actually

00:28:30.940 had some international experience, which she doesn't.

00:28:34.100 She has no foreign policy experience.

00:28:36.560 So she started to try to get people to come to Michigan and build their businesses because

00:28:40.920 she's chased all of our businesses off. 0.59

00:28:43.160 We've lost half of our Fortune 500 businesses under Gretchen Whitmer.

00:28:46.960 The funny thing about it is the first business she goes to is a robotics company that makes

00:28:54.000 it so that you can have your entire factory run through robotics and no people.

00:28:59.520 And she posts pictures.

00:29:00.760 There's not a soul in the plant because everything runs by by robotics.

00:29:04.560 It's like, how could you crush more jobs? 0.99

00:29:06.960 How could you be even more idiotic than to go to a company that literally gets rid of jobs? 0.99

00:29:12.660 But that's who's running Michigan and who wants to run our country. 0.99

00:29:16.960 You know, I think it's a warning for everyone who might be listed because a lot of folks

00:29:21.740 don't know who she is.

00:29:23.680 If they do know her on the national scale, they know her as that woman from Michigan.

00:29:28.880 As the one who took a little bit of a flack from Trump is she was so bad with COVID.

00:29:35.140 And the numbers still point that out.

00:29:37.380 I know you could speak to that extensively.

00:29:39.340 But thousands of seniors died because she sent sick patients from from hospitals into nursing

00:29:48.000 homes, infecting and killing thousands more who didn't need to die.

00:29:52.560 She closed businesses.

00:29:53.860 She did all sorts of things with the schools that just continue to be a mess for kids who

00:30:01.700 are still trying to recover for all these things.

00:30:03.780 And of course, she's one of the worst lockdowners. 1.00

00:30:06.360 You remember, she had the crazy, hey, you can go out on a boat if it doesn't have a motor

00:30:09.960 on it.

00:30:10.980 You can buy pot from the weed store.

00:30:15.100 Yeah, we have recreational legalized recreational marijuana here in Michigan.

00:30:19.000 So you can buy pot there.

00:30:20.180 You can buy liquor from the liquor store, but you couldn't buy potted plants or seeds in

00:30:23.280 stores, which was really strange.

00:30:25.020 All of it really, really strange.

00:30:27.800 And, you know, the nation may not be familiar with just how bad she is.

00:30:34.160 Yeah, don't don't forget, you could get an abortion, but you couldn't get a knee replacement. 1.00

00:30:38.900 And ultimately, these decisions majorly hurt not only our hospitals, but our businesses and

00:30:45.960 the hospitals is a big deal.

00:30:47.600 We have a lot of rural hospitals.

00:30:49.100 They they live off of those surgeries like shoulder replacements, knee replacements.

00:30:54.840 Those were suddenly considered elective surgeries and abortion was critical health care.

00:31:01.600 And we were like, wait a minute.

00:31:03.020 What are you talking about?

00:31:04.180 Suddenly, these crucial surgeries that were all scheduled, their elective surgeries, everything

00:31:09.060 became elective.

00:31:10.200 I was, you know, I'm a cancer survivor.

00:31:12.540 I didn't get to go to see my doctor for a year.

00:31:16.060 When we finally got back into the cancer center, I remember the lobby of the cancer center was

00:31:22.140 just filled with people, filled with people that had had no treatment.

00:31:25.980 The number of people who probably either died or became immensely more unhealthy because they

00:31:33.000 were not able to see their physician is shocking.

00:31:35.660 In our town, we had two teenagers, two high school students that committed suicide.

00:31:41.440 Those are the things that you don't hear because our schools were out for so long.

00:31:46.260 And it was unreasonable when people were I mean, gosh, you look at Georgia, they went they

00:31:52.340 literally went back after like 15 days and and they were fine.

00:31:57.060 And yet nobody's saying, well, wait, let's look at Georgia.

00:31:59.580 Let's look at Texas.

00:32:00.660 These states, let's look at Florida, the states that started to reopen.

00:32:03.900 They refused because they loved the power of the moment.

00:32:08.100 But when you look at weaponization of government, to me, that's one of the scariest things about

00:32:13.100 Gretchen Whitmer, because when I was campaigning, when I would go to the big corporations, the few

00:32:19.140 that are left in the state of Michigan, they would say to me, man, I'd love to give to you,

00:32:24.500 but she's so vindictive.

00:32:25.820 And it wasn't like they were making up an excuse.

00:32:28.440 We had one guy who owned a few hotels in Detroit.

00:32:32.000 He had actually had the Republican Speaker of the House speak at an event and she sent the health

00:32:39.160 department in.

00:32:40.080 They came up with bogus claims, shut down his hotels.

00:32:43.100 He was like, you got to understand, she cannot take criticism.

00:32:47.480 She cannot take someone who might go against her.

00:32:50.260 She just weaponizes her government against you. 1.00

00:32:54.040 Remember Marlena Hackney, she kept her restaurant open in Holland, Michigan. 0.58

00:32:58.700 They came and arrested her.

00:33:00.280 She was in jail for a few days, not just in jail.

00:33:04.840 She was in jail 100 miles from her house with shackles and chains, chains around her waist,

00:33:11.300 like she was some sort of violent criminal.

00:33:14.460 She had her restaurant open.

00:33:16.440 I mean, this is the type of person.

00:33:18.260 So when you think about Donald Trump having government weaponized against him, you don't

00:33:22.580 want this person to be in power.

00:33:24.260 It really is.

00:33:27.420 It's incredible.

00:33:28.220 I'll tell you, the other thing that makes her very unpopular here now, and I think that

00:33:33.460 folks will start to see this on the national scene, and this is something that threatens

00:33:37.840 Democrats and particularly Biden.

00:33:39.560 She's been riding with Biden, including in that electric vehicle mandate.

00:33:43.220 Tudor Dixon, host of the Tudor Dixon podcast, gubernatorial candidate here in Michigan, last

00:33:49.120 go around, and she's been pushing these Chinese Communist Party-linked battery plants here in 0.82

00:33:55.340 Michigan, which residents are very, very concerned about, environmental impact, but also national

00:34:02.000 security concerns.

00:34:03.160 China.

00:34:03.540 She's taken hundreds of millions of dollars from taxpayer, Michigan taxpayer money, and 0.98

00:34:08.360 handed it over to the Chinese Communist Party, essentially, to buy pure Michigan farmland.

00:34:12.940 China.

00:34:13.600 And it's starting to really backfire.

00:34:17.180 Not just that, but the auto workers are really starting to become concerned as well.

00:34:22.900 And I know that Biden had an issue with over 100,000 uncommitted votes during the primary

00:34:28.000 here in Michigan.

00:34:29.100 There's a reason why she said the state doesn't look good and that he can't win.

00:34:35.020 I just wonder if any Democrat could win Michigan.

00:34:37.440 You know, at this point, I would think that most people are wise to what's going on after

00:34:43.640 this new EPA rule where they're going to change the way we make vehicles completely.

00:34:48.820 And by 2030 to 2032, you have to have 50%, 56% of your auto sales have to be electric vehicles.

00:34:57.680 I mean, this is pie in the sky type of stuff, but it's ridiculous.

00:35:02.340 There's no reasoning for it.

00:35:04.000 There's no way to guarantee that 56% unless you are making so few gas vehicles.

00:35:09.640 And then you're really taking a chance of your automotive industry in the United States

00:35:14.300 completely going under because the demand is not there.

00:35:18.000 The consumers are not buying.

00:35:19.880 So you take a look at what she did with Goshen.

00:35:22.600 Like I said, she's been traveling overseas because she's run so many businesses out of Michigan. 0.84

00:35:27.360 During the campaign, she had this win and the Republicans helped with this.

00:35:32.860 Well, she called it a win.

00:35:34.460 We're bringing this company in.

00:35:36.360 There's never been a confirmation of how many jobs will come with Goshen.

00:35:40.540 But we started researching the company.

00:35:43.180 Man, this company is connected to the Chinese Communist Party.

00:35:48.120 And so when I was running, yeah.

00:35:51.020 So when I was running, I said, this is crazy.

00:35:53.380 I actually had the mainstream media come back on me, and they started just attacking me over

00:35:58.540 she would choose not to have these jobs here.

00:36:01.020 And I said, you don't even know if we're getting jobs.

00:36:03.680 Are you out of here?

00:36:04.440 You don't know what this factory is.

00:36:06.520 And in the debate, she actually said during our debate, if she were governor right now,

00:36:12.560 Goshen wouldn't be coming to Michigan.

00:36:14.500 Yep, she's right.

00:36:15.860 Because I would protect us from outside Chinese corporations coming in that are openly connected 1.00

00:36:24.360 to the CCP, that asked to have a CCP committee office in the company in Michigan.

00:36:31.780 This is crazy.

00:36:33.240 It's crazy.

00:36:35.020 Tudor Dixon, the Tudor Dixon podcast at TudorDixon.com.

00:36:39.220 And of course, former gubernatorial candidate here in Michigan.

00:36:41.660 Thank you for taking the time.

00:36:46.560 We'll be sure to check in with you again as things continue to develop.

00:36:51.640 Thank you, Justin.

00:36:53.220 You got it.

00:36:54.060 Always a pleasure.

00:36:55.080 That fight still continues yet in Mecosta County, by the way.

00:36:59.080 One of the stories you've heard here on the Glenn Beck Program and from the people there

00:37:02.680 of Green Charter Township, the ragtag group of individuals who are in it and continue to fight,

00:37:08.360 they're standing up not only for their little backyard neck of the woods,

00:37:12.220 but they're standing up for this country as well.

00:37:14.380 It's a fight that I think weighs heavy on all of our minds, and it ought to be even bigger

00:37:20.900 in the spotlight.

00:37:21.960 You can help those folks at protectmecosta.org.

00:37:25.860 That's protectmecosta.org.

00:37:30.960 Quick break.

00:38:57.360 How bad was it?

00:39:06.680 Oh, it was pretty bad.

00:39:10.680 Yesterday's showing there at the White House for the fireworks and the Independence Day celebration,

00:39:18.040 Biden says he's not going anywhere, rambling about traffic at some point.

00:39:21.620 seems utterly and completely lost yet again in the latest clip.

00:39:27.260 You got me, man.

00:39:30.000 I'm not going anywhere.

00:39:31.660 All right.

00:39:34.540 All right.

00:39:35.200 I'll come back out when I let you open the gate.

00:39:37.600 Okay?

00:39:38.440 Thank you.

00:39:38.960 Thank you.

00:39:39.360 Thank you.

00:39:39.900 One last thing.

00:39:41.220 You know, I used to think when I was a senator, there was always congestion on the highways.

00:39:46.460 There's no congestion anymore.

00:39:48.580 No, we go on the highway.

00:39:49.500 There's no congestion.

00:39:50.960 And so the way they get me to stop talking, they'll say, we just shut down all the roads,

00:39:55.920 Mr. President.

00:39:57.240 You're going to lose all the votes if you don't get in.

00:39:59.200 But anyway, I'll be back out.

00:40:01.080 Thank you.

00:40:01.520 Thank you.

00:40:01.920 Thank you.

00:40:02.300 Thank you.

00:40:02.660 I love you.

00:40:03.360 Just rambling.

00:40:04.380 Just rambling.

00:40:07.400 Just utterly lost the entire time.

00:40:10.760 And again, that's not even the worst.

00:40:14.220 There's something that's come out in the last day or so, as you watched, by the way.

00:40:18.120 He just lost again looking at people to find out where he goes here in this clip.

00:40:23.180 Another gaffe, another flub about his historic presidency.

00:40:29.080 I'll make sure that you get that, too.

00:40:31.580 By the way, all the stories and things I'm talking about right now, you'll be able to

00:40:36.440 find TheBlaze.com.

00:40:38.060 Everything is posted up and ready to go.

00:40:40.820 So you haven't got a chance to get in there, get in and check it out as they've got stories.

00:40:45.860 You know, the news never stops, and neither do we.

00:40:48.480 Justin Barkley in again for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:40:52.200 We're back next with Congressman Byron Donald to join us.

00:40:56.480 Talk about what's happening here.

00:40:57.980 The Glenn Beck Program.

00:41:21.920 Oh, oh, oh, stay the same.

00:41:24.800 And hold the line.

00:41:30.240 It's a new day.

00:41:32.460 A time to rise.

00:41:38.600 Welcome to the fusion

00:41:40.280 of entertainment

00:41:43.080 and enlightenment.

00:41:47.640 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:41:50.320 Well, things are in shambles right now in the Democrat Party.

00:42:01.200 Things are really, really tough for Biden as he tries to navigate whether he's going to

00:42:06.760 be able to stay or go and what that all looks like.

00:42:11.720 But what about all the massive wins that have been happening for the right lately?

00:42:16.400 The Trump campaign specifically.

00:42:18.180 Well, there's a list of possible VP contenders out there.

00:42:21.620 And in fact, we'll talk to one of them coming up next.

00:42:24.840 Find out how things stand.

00:42:26.800 And we're just days away from the convention as well.

00:42:30.820 What's happening behind the scenes?

00:42:32.620 We'll get it all coming up after this.

00:42:34.960 Congressman Byron Donald joins us next.

00:42:37.320 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:42:45.100 When it comes to protecting those that matter most,

00:42:48.040 you need a home security system you can trust.

00:42:50.140 For 10 years, I've trusted SimpliSafe to protect my home and my family,

00:42:54.000 advanced security technology, and a customer-first approach.

00:42:57.800 SimpliSafe is the only security system I recommend.

00:43:00.620 It's also a system that any DIYer can do.

00:43:03.800 In fact, my son-in-law and I did this ourselves in under an hour.

00:43:07.440 SimpliSafe is backed by 24-7 professional monitoring,

00:43:10.740 guarding your home with sensors and cameras to protect your family.

00:43:14.000 With 24-7 LiveGuard, agents act within five seconds of receiving an alarm

00:43:19.160 and take immediate actions to protect you.

00:43:21.900 They can even see and speak to intruders inside your home,

00:43:25.140 stopping them in their tracks.

00:43:26.820 SimpliSafe doesn't require a long-term contract.

00:43:29.600 They earn your business every day by keeping you safe.

00:43:32.840 Right now, you can claim an exclusive 20% discount on their new system

00:43:36.720 by going to SimpliSafe.com slash Beck.

00:43:39.820 That's SimpliSafe.com slash Beck.

00:43:42.680 There's no safe like SimpliSafe.

00:43:49.240 So, let's take a look.

00:43:51.320 We've got the convention coming up in just days.

00:43:54.060 Trump sentencing that was supposed to happen on the 11th,

00:43:58.180 but, you know, that was moved because of the Supreme Court ruling on immunity.

00:44:06.220 At least, they've moved it at least to the 18th.

00:44:09.560 This whole thing could go away.

00:44:12.020 At least I know that some of the attorneys are working on that behind the scenes right now.

00:44:16.720 So, and one guy on the left, I don't remember who this is.

00:44:21.900 I had to find the guy.

00:44:23.360 But just a strait after story after story keeps dropping about all of this,

00:44:29.440 saying essentially,

00:44:31.380 Trump has a golden horseshoe firmly implanted you know where.

00:44:37.660 He just couldn't take it.

00:44:40.060 He couldn't take it.

00:44:40.920 There's definitely been a lot of winning happening lately.

00:44:44.120 So, what's next?

00:44:45.460 There was leaked audio, too, over the last day or so.

00:44:49.420 President Trump out riding in the golf cart.

00:44:51.280 And I didn't realize it, but it looks like Barron's right next to him.

00:44:54.700 And the guy has recorded him having a great conversation on the golf course about Joe

00:45:01.720 and the fact that he's got to go.

00:45:04.760 What did we do with the debate the other night?

00:45:06.420 Oh, amazing. 1.00

00:45:07.580 That old broken down pile of crap. 1.00

00:45:09.400 Yeah. 1.00

00:45:09.900 It's a bad guy.

00:45:10.600 He just quit, you know.

00:45:11.460 He's quitting the rest.

00:45:12.420 Is that right?

00:45:12.920 Yep.

00:45:13.280 I got him out of the race.

00:45:14.740 And that means we have Kamala.

00:45:16.900 I think she's going to be better.

00:45:19.260 She's so bad. 1.00

00:45:20.720 She's so pathetic. 1.00

00:45:21.960 It's so crazy. 1.00

00:45:23.100 It's just so bad.

00:45:24.680 I just can't imagine.

00:45:25.740 But can you imagine that guy dealing with Putin and the president of China who's a fierce

00:45:30.800 person?

00:45:31.380 He's a fierce man.

00:45:32.680 Right.

00:45:33.160 A very tough guy.

00:45:34.900 And they see him.

00:45:35.660 They probably can't.

00:45:37.040 But they just announced he's probably quitting.

00:45:40.340 Thank you.

00:45:40.660 They just keep knocking him out.

00:45:44.120 They just keep knocking him out.

00:45:46.180 Congressman Byron Donalds joins us now to talk about the latest and this story and more.

00:45:51.280 Congressman, welcome to the Glenn Beck program.

00:45:53.960 Man, it's a pleasure to be on.

00:45:55.320 Thanks for having me.

00:45:56.040 Absolutely.

00:45:57.440 You know, you are you've got a very up close and personal seat on this ride watching all

00:46:05.880 of the developments over the last week.

00:46:07.660 It's been a really rough ride for Democrats, but it really has been smooth sailing for President

00:46:13.120 Trump.

00:46:13.500 It has been the last I talked to the president the other day.

00:46:18.640 I told him, I was like, you might be having the best week ever.

00:46:22.720 The debate in Atlanta was the president was great.

00:46:26.900 And Joe Biden was such a disaster.

00:46:28.680 And now you have a situation where the press and the Democrats are all eating themselves

00:46:34.020 because they're trying to find a way to get Joe Biden out.

00:46:38.080 They realize they can't really get Joe Biden out.

00:46:41.680 The press has whatever credibility they had is now officially gone because they were covering

00:46:47.420 up for him.

00:46:48.940 And then the polling just looks awful.

00:46:51.180 Donald Trump's up massively against Joe Biden in every swing state.

00:46:54.400 Even if you try to talk about Kamala, he's up massively on her.

00:46:58.900 I think a new poll just came out about that.

00:47:00.880 Things are looking good.

00:47:02.180 But I want to tell all your listeners, none of that matters.

00:47:06.520 The only thing that matters now is getting out the vote.

00:47:10.300 It doesn't matter how you get out the vote.

00:47:11.960 You got to get out the vote.

00:47:13.320 People need to get to the polls.

00:47:14.960 There's a bunch of voters out there that we get people.

00:47:18.580 We got to get registered to vote.

00:47:19.840 A lot of people who typically do not vote.

00:47:21.700 We got to get them to the polls.

00:47:22.920 What matters now is execution, not just laughing at the Democrats, because eventually they're

00:47:28.660 going to get their act together and they do have a machine that they're going to turn

00:47:33.580 on.

00:47:34.180 And it's important that every American loving this country, patriots all through our country,

00:47:39.880 we get the vote out in every one of these swing states.

00:47:43.360 That's the thing that matters right now.

00:47:45.420 I think that's a fair point.

00:47:47.460 Congressman Byron Donald's with us right now.

00:47:49.100 The president's talked about making it too big to rig.

00:47:51.840 You have the protect the vote effort and there are efforts in states all across the country

00:47:58.440 right now in trying to get aimed at getting people low prop voters.

00:48:02.840 People who would vote are would vote for Trump.

00:48:06.260 But yet, for some reason, sit it out and don't.

00:48:08.580 It's crazy how many churches there are people in churches all across this country that just

00:48:13.200 don't vote.

00:48:13.880 And yet, if they would, things would be dramatically different.

00:48:18.140 Hunters, you know, there are all these different categories of folks that if they could just 1.00

00:48:22.200 get out and vote.

00:48:23.120 Of course, in Michigan, like where I'm at, you know, we've got all these new rules that

00:48:27.280 have gone into effect.

00:48:28.860 Or you could register permanent absentee and all these things to take advantage of the

00:48:34.300 rules, the way they had shifted things and changed things and put them in our favor.

00:48:40.420 And they're just things that the president has embraced with that effort to make it too

00:48:44.560 big to rig.

00:48:46.160 Yeah, totally agree.

00:48:47.460 And I know, obviously, we're going to get back to the politics.

00:48:49.940 But I would be remiss if we don't do this.

00:48:52.980 There's a lot of Christians.

00:48:54.880 And God bless you.

00:48:55.840 God bless you all.

00:48:57.140 They are prayer warriors.

00:48:59.700 But my Bible says faith without works is dead.

00:49:02.860 You got to get to the polls.

00:49:04.580 You got to vote.

00:49:05.680 We have a lot of hunters, people who are Second Amendment believers, followers, and love

00:49:10.420 that part of our, of not just the entire Constitution, but they hold the Second Amendment sacred.

00:49:15.180 But you got to get to the polls to protect that. 0.99

00:49:17.380 These Democrats, these people are nuts. 0.97

00:49:19.240 And so whether it's Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, it doesn't matter who they put 0.99

00:49:25.640 up there.

00:49:26.680 The radical agenda remains the same.

00:49:30.300 We are in a battle against their agenda, not just Joe Biden.

00:49:35.080 And so me personally, I think Joe Biden isn't going anywhere.

00:49:38.400 That's what I think.

00:49:39.660 So I'm sticking, I'm sticking to that point. 0.94

00:49:42.440 Because he is, his family is a family of grifters.

00:49:45.780 Um, he has always wanted to be president.

00:49:49.300 And whether he's here with us today or not, he was, he's going to hold on to that thing

00:49:53.940 for all dear life.

00:49:55.860 Um, but this is about our country.

00:49:57.820 And what it requires is citizens to get out there and do the thing that must be done.

00:50:02.600 We have the candidate.

00:50:03.620 Donald Trump's going to get the job done, folks.

00:50:05.640 He's going to go back to Washington.

00:50:07.320 He's going to get the job done as the 47th president, but you got to get out there and

00:50:12.580 you got to vote.

00:50:13.580 And it's voting for him and it's voting for Republicans in the Senate, Republicans in the

00:50:17.880 House.

00:50:18.400 Um, even though, yeah, look, I'm a Republican in the House.

00:50:20.680 And sometimes my colleagues piss me off too.

00:50:22.500 I get it.

00:50:23.060 But we got to have the bodies in Washington, D.C. to actually get the job done.

00:50:29.620 You know, you, you mentioned, um, being at the debate and, uh, I think I saw you there

00:50:36.400 in the spin room and all that.

00:50:37.620 And, and talking to folks afterwards, one of the things we heard from the president, uh,

00:50:43.340 was the tease in, in the true Trump form and, uh, the showmanship that he, that he's so

00:50:48.780 good at is that, you know, that his vice president, uh, the running mate would be at the event.

00:50:54.960 So I got to ask you about, I'm have to, I'm not doing my job if I don't, um, any news you

00:51:01.280 want to share with us or, uh, what's your take on, uh, maybe if that call comes answering

00:51:08.540 it?

00:51:09.380 Well, let me see first.

00:51:11.220 Uh, I know America would love me to break news, but I'm not saying a word.

00:51:15.240 I have no information to share with anybody.

00:51:18.100 I mean, look, Donald Trump is going to make that decision.

00:51:21.100 Um, he's going to decide.

00:51:22.740 And then what's going to happen is I think everybody on that list, we're all going to

00:51:27.600 rally around that decision and we're going to go and be focused on victory.

00:51:31.720 That's the only thing that really matters at this point.

00:51:34.240 Um, if the call came, of course, yeah, I would say, yes, there's no doubt about that.

00:51:39.080 Um, I've been very clear on that.

00:51:41.220 Uh, but I think the real focus is who's going to help, uh, the president, um, to get through

00:51:47.420 his election cycle, get through the process of winning voters all through this country.

00:51:52.240 I'll tell you, you talk to him.

00:51:53.900 He wants to win every state, you know, he wants to win New Jersey.

00:51:57.080 He wants to win New Hampshire.

00:51:58.260 He wants to win everywhere.

00:51:59.700 He doesn't want to just get 272 electoral votes.

00:52:03.360 He wants over 300 electoral votes.

00:52:05.500 So he wants to win everywhere.

00:52:06.400 So I think the vice presidential, uh, pick, you know, it's got to help him do that and

00:52:11.200 then help him accomplish the agenda, be his partner to accomplish that agenda to make America

00:52:14.860 great again.

00:52:15.660 Well, whoever he picks I'm for, I just want to win.

00:52:18.660 You know, I got into politics really about a decade ago.

00:52:22.240 Um, and it takes a lot of time away from your family, you know, away from home.

00:52:26.260 And so I don't mind making the sacrifice.

00:52:28.420 I just want the sacrifice to count.

00:52:30.120 And so I'm here to win.

00:52:31.160 I want to get the job done.

00:52:32.400 That's what, that's where everybody's focus is.

00:52:33.960 And I'll tell you as a party, I've not seen us disunited in a long time.

00:52:38.700 We are united because we see just how terrible the Democrats can be when they have unchecked

00:52:43.800 power.

00:52:44.300 And so we gotta, we gotta do what needs to be done.

00:52:47.240 We gotta win whoever he picks them with.

00:52:51.120 I've got to ask you, uh, this is, this is another one of these, as you mentioned, it

00:52:56.680 looks like they may be stuck with Biden, but, uh, I've talked to a number of folks about,

00:53:02.120 uh, what may happen next or who possibly may be filling that, uh, that role if he does

00:53:09.740 decide to step aside and any number of reasons for that.

00:53:13.220 But if that does happen, who it might be.

00:53:15.040 And over and over and over again, it comes back to, um, and one of the best ways I heard

00:53:21.000 it put was, uh, from a man here in Michigan, um, who said, black man said this, if they

00:53:28.580 try to toss Kamala Harris aside, it'd be like sending her to the back of the bus, like Rosa 1.00

00:53:35.340 Parks.

00:53:35.940 It would be the end of the party.

00:53:37.740 So essentially I have to ask you, and, uh, uh, what do you make of that?

00:53:43.480 And I know you've, you've come out on record talking about the fact that you don't think

00:53:47.820 it matters, uh, who they pick, but let me just ask you about that.

00:53:52.680 Uh, I don't think it matters, but you, but you're correct.

00:53:56.640 They cannot step over Kamala Harris. 0.75

00:53:58.920 They would have, you think they're imploding now, it would be a major earthquake in that

00:54:06.520 party.

00:54:06.880 If they decided to go with Gavin Newsom, stepping over Kamala Harris, it's just not possible.

00:54:12.180 I just don't see how that, how that would happen politically.

00:54:15.360 And then the other piece is, I think the way campaign finance laws are set up, the amount

00:54:21.000 of money that they've raised for Joe Biden's reelection can only go to Kamala Harris.

00:54:27.760 If they go to somebody else, they essentially have to refund all the money and re-raise all

00:54:33.400 the money.

00:54:34.300 And that's a real mess.

00:54:35.760 And none of that can, I don't think that can really happen until after their convention,

00:54:38.840 which means that now they're trying to raise money in, in late August, September for a

00:54:44.280 presidential election where ballots in most areas are going out in late September, October.

00:54:49.240 Yeah, that doesn't, that doesn't work.

00:54:51.020 And so right now they're caught between a rock and a hard place, but it's their own fault.

00:54:55.600 They knew Joe Biden was not with us and they wanted him to run and he wanted to run.

00:55:01.260 And you could blame Joe Biden for that.

00:55:03.060 You can blame the Biden family for that.

00:55:04.920 Like, I mean, obviously everybody knows, I guess Hunter Biden's now back in the White

00:55:07.960 House.

00:55:08.580 He's the one making decisions.

00:55:10.100 I mean, this thing, this is great.

00:55:11.480 This is great for our country.

00:55:13.420 But they're stuck between him and Kamala Harris.

00:55:15.760 Kamala Harris, she could not win.

00:55:17.820 She couldn't get to a state to run for a state when she was running for the presidency back 1.00

00:55:23.760 in 20, you know, in 2020.

00:55:25.700 People forget she couldn't even get to a state.

00:55:29.960 So that's their fault.

00:55:31.580 That's what they're dealing with.

00:55:33.060 Congressman Byron Donalds.

00:55:34.600 You know, the other thing that I think is important about all of this is, and I'll let

00:55:40.580 you have the last word here, but it doesn't matter whoever they pick, whoever they switch

00:55:44.140 out.

00:55:45.320 It's these radical policies from the Democrats.

00:55:50.420 It's the agenda that will stay the same.

00:55:53.600 And it's that agenda and these extreme policies that have done all the destruction and the damage

00:56:00.380 here in this country.

00:56:02.420 And that's that's what's still going to be online.

00:56:05.740 Totally agree.

00:56:06.660 I mean, look, understand they have massive open borders.

00:56:10.120 Do you hear a Democrat or anybody in the media complaining about immigration this last

00:56:14.640 week?

00:56:14.860 They're not.

00:56:15.640 They're they're concerned about Joe Biden's performance.

00:56:19.560 They've spent billions and billions of dollars of money we did not need on this Green New 0.98

00:56:24.920 Deal crap. 0.97

00:56:25.600 They're going to spend, according to Wall Street, another trillion, trillion and a half more 0.99

00:56:29.200 in tax credits for the Green New Deal scam.

00:56:31.880 Is anybody in the media complaining about that?

00:56:34.340 Is any Democrat complaining about that?

00:56:36.200 They have massive regulations that make no sense.

00:56:38.960 Everything from getting rid of gas stoves to trying to get rid of the internal combustion

00:56:43.500 engine and everything in between.

00:56:45.440 Do you hear anybody in the media or in the Democrat Party complaining about that?

00:56:48.720 No.

00:56:49.460 These people like the agenda.

00:56:52.160 They like what Joe Biden has done.

00:56:53.920 That's not the issue.

00:56:54.760 The issue is, is that they don't think he can sell to the American people anymore and

00:57:00.720 then Donald Trump will win and basically take apart their entire agenda.

00:57:04.380 That's what's freaking them out.

00:57:05.900 And then let's mess about democracy.

00:57:07.800 I will not listen to the Democrats lecture anybody on democracy.

00:57:11.620 It's Joe Biden that's violated the Supreme Court precedent, not once but twice on student

00:57:16.780 loans.

00:57:17.060 It's Joe Biden that does not faithfully execute the laws of the land with respect to with respect

00:57:22.300 to securing the border.

00:57:23.840 It's Joe Biden that that fired members of our military for not taking a COVID vaccine.

00:57:28.980 It's Joe Biden that has spied and suppressed speech of the American people.

00:57:32.820 He is the destroyer of the constitutional republic that is the United States of America.

00:57:38.680 So their only concern is they don't have a spokesperson right now.

00:57:42.300 That's what's freaking them out.

00:57:43.980 We have the candidate in Donald J. Trump.

00:57:46.300 We got to get the vote out.

00:57:48.020 We got to get out and work hard for this for Donald Trump.

00:57:51.120 We do that.

00:57:52.120 We win.

00:57:52.660 It's that simple.

00:57:54.180 Congressman Byron Donalds, thank you for taking the time, sir.

00:57:56.900 Appreciate it.

00:57:58.300 Definitely ought to talk to you again soon.

00:58:00.260 You got it.

00:58:00.800 Yeah.

00:58:01.000 Congressman Byron Donalds, the Glenn Beck program rolls on.

00:58:03.900 OK, we've been talking about possibilities and scenarios.

00:58:06.400 And I'd like to take you down into the bunker.

00:58:09.980 I got my hat, my tinfoil hat ready.

00:58:11.840 We'll do that in just a moment because there's a wacky one.

00:58:14.540 Newsmax has been put this out there.

00:58:18.500 There is a legal scholar who was talking about what he thinks is a very viable,

00:58:26.080 this is a viable possibility.

00:58:27.620 And it involves Obama possibly somehow becoming president again.

00:58:34.720 I know just the very thought of that may be enough to make you cringe.

00:58:42.240 In fact, I got it.

00:58:43.160 I get it.

00:58:43.980 And this whole thing, I'm not sure the viability of it.

00:58:48.400 I will tell you this.

00:58:49.180 One thing is for sure.

00:58:50.260 No matter what, there is one thing that we know.

00:58:53.080 The Democrats will do everything and anything to hold on to power.

00:58:55.760 And we'll explain what this plan could mean and how it's detailed coming up after this.

00:59:02.140 We're back next on the Glenn Beck program.

01:00:07.960 All right.

01:00:18.860 Could Obama really, really become president again?

01:00:23.480 Well, I'm going to lay this out to you.

01:00:25.600 This comes from Newsmax.

01:00:30.520 First of all, I'm going to tell you, as we go, we take the little walk down into the bunker, put the tinfoil hat on.

01:00:37.220 But I'll take a look at everything.

01:00:39.240 I will.

01:00:40.400 Absolutely.

01:00:41.440 I'll entertain different ideas, thoughts.

01:00:44.200 And I think this is an interesting one.

01:00:46.580 I don't know how likely it is, but it is an interesting point.

01:00:54.400 Democrat strategists might be ready to exploit a loophole to get former President Barack Obama back in the White House.

01:00:59.740 It includes making him Joe Biden's, President Biden's, running mate.

01:01:06.760 And next in line, should Biden step down after the election?

01:01:10.120 Obama was term limited as president, but legal scholars are now suggesting Biden could give his slipping campaign a shot in the arm by replacing Vice President Harris,

01:01:22.120 already told you what we think about that, with Obama as his running mate, Paul Bedard, writing Thursday for the Washington Examiner.

01:01:32.220 The interesting piece of this is that it all hinges really on the 22nd Amendment, which is the term limit portion of this, of the Constitution.

01:01:43.140 When you look at this, it essentially says that you can only be elected to two terms in the wording, but that means only elected to two terms.

01:01:55.460 See, if Obama were to become part of the Biden ticket, he would be elected as vice president.

01:02:01.420 And there's nothing that I see, at least is what I've looked at, that indicates that that wouldn't be possible or legal.

01:02:12.800 So it is interesting.

01:02:14.980 I don't know if it's likely, but it is part of the speculation out there.

01:02:19.820 I want to talk about this.

01:02:21.580 Some of those are familiar with the Constitution.

01:02:25.380 Some of them I want to talk about on a number of different levels.

01:02:29.280 He's a great guy.

01:02:30.380 We'll get into all of the conversation about that, whether this is even legal or not, or it's just some pipe dream coming up in just moments.

01:02:39.800 You want to weigh in at any point?

01:04:02.380 More Glenn Beck next.

01:04:03.600 Stand up on Earth!

01:04:25.920 All right, let's get some answers here.

01:04:28.480 You know, originally, I wanted to talk to our next guest just because I really love what he's doing, in fact, throughout the country.

01:04:37.600 I have participated in one of his classes.

01:04:43.660 I guess it's sort of like a small group we did at our church called Biblical Citizenship.

01:04:48.560 And he's got a great, in fact, a great organization.

01:04:53.240 We'll talk a little bit more about what he's up to.

01:04:55.020 Rick Green, America's constitutional coach.

01:04:57.780 One of the most dynamic and inspirational speakers in America today, equipping, empowering, and challenging about 100,000 people a year.

01:05:04.460 Live audiences a million more through radio and television, so you're that constitutional coach, right?

01:05:10.020 So welcome, Rick Green, to the Glenn Beck program.

01:05:12.760 Rick, how are you?

01:05:14.080 Justin, doing great, man.

01:05:15.160 Thanks for having me on.

01:05:15.820 I really enjoyed Biblical Citizenship and everything else that you're up to.

01:05:21.040 I want to talk about those things in depth here in just a moment.

01:05:24.860 In fact, I just thought it would be great to have you on around Independence Day altogether.

01:05:30.160 But then we get this story yesterday that pops up out of nowhere, and I think, oh, boy, Rick's going to have a field day with this.

01:05:35.780 Let's dig in.

01:05:36.960 So I don't know if you've heard this or not, but Newsmax put out this story.

01:05:40.860 Apparently somebody had written about a plot.

01:05:43.360 There's some sort of plan out there to remove, I guess, Kamala Harris from the ticket in the Biden campaign as a vice presidential candidate in this election and insert former President Barack Obama. 1.00

01:06:00.500 I know that's probably causing you to throw up a little bit in your mouth.

01:06:06.400 I'm not sure that that could cause a little pain for a lot of folks.

01:06:10.740 But anyway, this then, they say, would allow them to run and then give Democrats the confidence.

01:06:17.840 In fact, they might even come out right out and say it that, hey, we're just going to get across the line.

01:06:21.860 And once we do, we're going to restore everything that needs to be restored here.

01:06:26.500 And, of course, Biden will step down and then Obama will step up and serve.

01:06:31.960 And the question is, can he?

01:06:33.540 And I was looking at this 22nd Amendment, and the language I read is that the president can only be elected twice.

01:06:41.420 And so the question is, if he's elected twice, but then he's elected as a vice president, could he still serve a third term?

01:06:47.820 And what's the restrictions around serving in the Constitutional?

01:06:51.000 Since you are the constitutional coach here, Rick Green, I thought we'd ask you, is this just a pipe dream or is this some reality to this fantasy?

01:07:01.720 Well, first of all, thank you, man, for having me.

01:07:03.780 And, yes, Independence Day last night, wonderful to celebrate the 248th birthday, 48th birthday of the nation.

01:07:09.620 And we've got two years left, man, before we hit the 250th, which is when most countries crumble.

01:07:14.440 And this is what makes them crumble, exactly this kind of thing.

01:07:17.720 These are the same people that don't know what the meaning of the word is, is, right?

01:07:22.240 So remember the nuance that they tried to get around for Bill Clinton, all of the ways that they have twisted the statutes, created, literally took a statute designed to keep you from shredding documents while you're under investigation to bully these J6 defendants and put them in jail. 0.99

01:07:39.060 I've watched a lot of the hours from J6.

01:07:41.640 I don't remember anybody with a shredder outside the Capitol on their way in shredding documents.

01:07:46.640 That's the types of things that they have done.

01:07:48.880 They've twisted the statutes to convict Donald Trump.

01:07:51.600 They've twisted the statutes to do all of these things.

01:07:54.700 And now here they are doing the same thing with the Constitution.

01:07:57.440 And, of course, this is how we've ended up with a federal government doing 17 million things instead of 17 things like the Constitution allows them to.

01:08:05.140 This is how we've ended up with a completely post-constitutional America where the federal government dominates everything in our lives when, in fact, the Founding Fathers intended for it to do so little.

01:08:15.560 And so here they're trying to do it again.

01:08:16.900 They're basically trying to reverse the idea where, OK, you have somebody that's vice president.

01:08:22.040 They ascend to the presidency because of the 25th Amendment, and it's in the second half of the term, so they haven't filled out more than half of the term.

01:08:30.040 So they could get elected two more times and serve 10 possible years.

01:08:34.660 That could happen.

01:08:35.500 That is constitutional for that to happen.

01:08:37.340 That was contemplated when the 22nd and the 25th were put in place.

01:08:42.040 But this is nonsense.

01:08:43.520 They're actually talking about putting somebody on the ballot just because of the technical language in the 22nd Amendment about can't be elected to the presidency and completely ignoring the language in the 12th Amendment that says you cannot run for vice president and be elected vice president if you're ineligible to be president.

01:08:59.380 Well, he's ineligible to be president.

01:09:01.780 And so this is this is now I'm not saying they couldn't do it, Justin.

01:09:05.000 These people do not care about the law.

01:09:07.400 The rule of law means nothing to them.

01:09:09.200 They don't listen to America, the beautiful in the song where it says by liberty in law.

01:09:14.280 And that's why they'll probably find any way they can to replace Joe Biden on the ballot in Wisconsin and these other states that where they have statutory issues.

01:09:22.360 They'll change their their their convention rules.

01:09:25.040 They'll do anything to win.

01:09:26.880 They have no morals.

01:09:28.020 They don't believe in right and wrong.

01:09:30.000 We talked about, you know, last night was the celebration of the Declaration of Independence.

01:09:33.920 Well, what's the heart of the declaration?

01:09:35.620 We hold these truths to be self-evident.

01:09:38.160 They don't believe in truth.

01:09:39.500 They don't believe in moral absolutes.

01:09:40.940 So it's in justifies the means.

01:09:42.580 Do anything you can to win.

01:09:43.720 And for all of those Republicans and conservatives out there that are thinking this is impossible and they would never do it.

01:09:50.060 Don't forget what what Glenn and Mark Levin and all these other people told us back in the summer of 2020 when they saw the secretary of states starting to change election law.

01:10:00.680 Now, unconstitutionally, only the legislature is supposed to change election law.

01:10:04.560 And we warned and we warned and we warned and people didn't pay attention.

01:10:08.660 And then we saw the disaster of 2020.

01:10:10.560 So, bro, I think raising this today is important.

01:10:13.900 And I think people need to be ready for this.

01:10:15.300 They need to stand up and say this absolutely violates the Constitution, if not the letter, definitely the spirit of the Constitution.

01:10:22.380 So, just get this straight.

01:10:26.320 Rick Green, the constitutional coach, saying this violates the Constitution.

01:10:30.900 But, again, as I kind of lean towards, too, you know, why do we think that that's going to stop them?

01:10:37.020 Nothing they have done so far.

01:10:40.040 I mean, student law debt, all that.

01:10:41.520 And they just state they don't they don't care about any of the laws.

01:10:46.240 So, you're right.

01:10:47.120 I mean, they will stop at nothing.

01:10:49.860 And, boy, if we don't know, they'll run over us.

01:10:53.840 Right.

01:10:54.120 I mean, that's the whole point of civic education.

01:10:56.400 Yes.

01:10:56.760 I mean, that's how they've been able to do all of these things they've done.

01:11:01.200 I mean, brother, we don't we don't even have we don't even have but 25 percent of the country that know there are, you know, three branches of the federal government.

01:11:08.940 We got we got about a third of the country that can name even one freedom out of the First Amendment.

01:11:14.360 And so when they go monkeying around with it like this and changing the system and and and, you know, moving the shifting the power from the states to the feds and from us as individuals to the government and all that, we stand by.

01:11:25.980 And it's because we're in the good times.

01:11:28.180 You know, we're becoming soft.

01:11:29.360 We've had it so good for so long.

01:11:31.400 Everybody's seen the meme.

01:11:32.340 Right.

01:11:32.600 Tough times make tough men, tough men, good times, good times, make soft men, soft men lead to tough times.

01:11:37.940 Well, man, we've been blessed so much.

01:11:40.100 America is the greatest nation in the history of the world.

01:11:42.280 We've had it so good, so easy that we've gotten lazy and we've forgotten to do the hard work that it takes to keep freedom alive.

01:11:49.340 And that's, of course, why you took that class.

01:11:51.580 That's why Patriot Academy is why we do what we do is to shake people out of their slumber and say, hey, we're about to lose this thing.

01:11:57.380 You are going to pass to your children a broken country if you don't start doing the hard work.

01:12:01.860 We need to interrupt the tough times right here at the beginning of the tough times and not, as Ronald Reagan said, be thrown into a thousand years of darkness.

01:12:08.580 I think it's so important, and the work you're doing with, you know, civic, to raise this civic conversation in churches across the country, in our church and many others that I've seen, are really, this is, the church has to wake up, they have to stand up, and they've got to get involved.

01:12:28.460 And if they only knew so many of these folks we just talked about aren't voting, and so many of them aren't aware.

01:12:35.380 I saw, this is Prager, you, I think, did one of these man-on-the-street things, and they went out and asked these kids and different people on beaches, hey, what's the significance of 1776?

01:12:48.260 And a lot of the kids didn't even know what Independence Day was all about, and no wonder.

01:12:53.920 I mean, all they've heard about the last two years has been Pride Month and Juneteenth and all these other summer holidays that really kind of cloud the water about how important Independence Day was and why it matters.

01:13:06.860 And that's how you lose it, right? Ronald Reagan said if we forget what we did, we won't know who we are.

01:13:12.480 And so the petri dish where bad government grows, and man, it's spreading like a virus, but the petri dish where it grows is civic and biblical ignorance.

01:13:20.180 If we don't know truth, we don't know what our nation was founded upon, we don't know, you know, what the principles are, the good stuff that produces good stuff. 0.86

01:13:27.580 In other words, if you put garbage in, personally, you're going to get garbage out. It's the same with a nation.

01:13:32.100 If you put garbage in, you get garbage out. You put good stuff in, you get good stuff out.

01:13:35.860 And in our nation, we've been pouring the cultural Marxism into our children for three generations.

01:13:41.120 And the reason that we have so many people now come into these Constitution classes is because they went through those schools where that cultural Marxism was seeping in.

01:13:49.860 And now they're going, wow, I was lied to. That's not the truth about America and who we are.

01:13:54.720 And so now that they're learning it, that's why I think we're up to, we're a little over 28,000 Constitution coaches around the country.

01:14:02.140 And these people are holding classes. You wouldn't believe it, man.

01:14:04.940 They're getting together, not just in churches and schools and homes, Harley Davidson dealerships, bait and tackle shops.

01:14:10.580 Had a funeral parlor guy tell me he's doing a Constitution class at his funeral parlor.

01:14:13.980 I'm like, that's weird. But then again, I guess Democrats vote dead people.

01:14:16.860 So, you know, why not? Anyway, it's happening. I mean, the good news is there's a resurgence.

01:14:23.080 People are waking up and they're saying, I want to know the formula to restore freedom.

01:14:27.940 And I don't like the pain I'm feeling, whether it's the inflation or the tyranny or whatever.

01:14:33.140 And it's starting to get people to wake up. Not enough. You mentioned the numbers, man.

01:14:36.800 Very few people. I mean, the number, especially the church, right?

01:14:39.940 Half of people that are faith based people vote.

01:14:43.060 So that means half of our team is not even on the field.

01:14:45.320 The people that care about right and wrong and believe in right and wrong.

01:14:48.080 And so we got to get them engaged, get them awake, get away from this wimpy, wimpy faith.

01:14:53.180 These people that say, I don't want politics in the pulpit or I'm just supposed to preach the gospel.

01:14:58.080 Well, the gospel is to make disciples. The politics is just how you treat your neighbor.

01:15:02.620 I heard something somewhere. You ought to treat your neighbor the way you want to be treated.

01:15:06.500 Yeah, I think it's written down in a famous book somewhere.

01:15:08.660 I mean, I want to live in a neighborhood where people treat each other the way they want to be treated,

01:15:13.260 where they think stealing's wrong, murder's wrong, you know.

01:15:15.600 So anyway, sorry, I didn't mean to filibuster, but, you know, that article, you shouldn't have said that to me, Rob.

01:15:22.140 That got me fired up.

01:15:24.460 Yeah, listen, I know you are preaching to the choir, but look, the key is, is we've got to get off the bench and in the game,

01:15:32.180 as you just mentioned, and Rick Green, constitutional coach, and people can find out more.

01:15:36.100 I know you've got some events. In fact, you'll be in Michigan soon, but you're all over the country.

01:15:40.220 Where can folks find out, and where will you be?

01:15:43.540 Yeah, man, patriotacademy.com.

01:15:46.020 In fact, we just yesterday had David and Tim Barton out here with us at the Patriot Academy campus in Fredericksburg, Texas.

01:15:52.260 We do handgun defense training along with constitutional training and a lot of fun stuff.

01:15:57.920 And so anyway, we do events here all the time, so they can come to Fredericksburg anytime.

01:16:01.660 But yeah, we're going to be in Michigan, Kalamazoo, Michigan, here in just a couple weeks on the 13th.

01:16:06.100 And these coach conferences, they're called a coach conference, but they're for anybody that wants to know about the Constitution.

01:16:12.040 And most people leave that day signing up to be a coach, which is free, by the way.

01:16:14.960 I forgot to mention that. Completely free to be a coach with us.

01:16:17.700 Completely free to take our classes.

01:16:19.480 But there's no substitute for sitting in a room with your fellow Patriots and fellow Americans,

01:16:24.140 watching these amazing videos that make this stuff fun.

01:16:27.220 These are not boring classes you're going to sleep in.

01:16:29.180 And then talking about it.

01:16:30.640 The magic happens when the video's over, because then you start talking about how to apply those solutions to your neighborhood,

01:16:36.300 your community, your state, and our country.

01:16:38.460 And so I really do encourage people.

01:16:40.100 It will give you hope.

01:16:41.940 You'll learn things you never knew, and then you'll find other Patriots,

01:16:45.180 and you'll begin to take over school boards, city councils.

01:16:49.340 You'll get people elected to office.

01:16:50.740 But more importantly, you'll be a good citizen.

01:16:52.800 And you'll have the knowledge you need to decipher truth and see through all of this nonsense that these people are throwing at us.

01:16:59.940 We're living in George Orwell's 1984 right now,

01:17:02.660 and we've got to get educated in order to slice through that stuff and get back to the truth.

01:17:08.720 Great, great.

01:17:09.440 And thank you for being on the show today.

01:17:11.820 But also, thank you for everything you're doing.

01:17:13.660 You're doing the Lord's work, and we appreciate you stepping up and into your call.

01:17:17.720 Thank you, sir.

01:17:18.840 Thank you, man.

01:17:19.460 Thanks for having me today.

01:17:20.140 God bless.

01:17:20.460 You got it, patriotacademy.com.

01:17:23.820 All right, quick break.

01:17:25.080 He did it.

01:17:26.120 He did it.

01:17:29.460 Last night it happened at the Independence Day celebration in Washington, D.C.

01:17:34.820 at the fireworks and more.

01:17:35.860 He did the meme.

01:17:37.280 I don't know.

01:17:38.940 The matrix is folding in on itself here.

01:17:42.180 I don't know.

01:17:42.360 It's weird.

01:17:43.340 But it actually happened.

01:17:44.860 I'll share it with you.

01:17:45.860 The audio you won't want to miss after this.

01:19:19.060 Yeah, he finally did it.

01:19:21.200 He Biden did the meme.

01:19:28.620 This is this is last night.

01:19:30.800 You know, there's a meme that shows Biden in the he's in a he's in a Santa Claus was it

01:19:39.120 known as Santa Claus had or the Fourth of July.

01:19:41.980 The fireworks are going behind us.

01:19:43.420 This is Mary Fourth of Father's Day. 0.92

01:19:46.100 Whatever.

01:19:46.540 It's it's it's it's floating.

01:19:48.160 This means been floating around for for years now.

01:19:51.220 And it's it's it's it's always poked fun at him for being who he is and and sort of always

01:19:58.960 being off now more than ever.

01:20:00.820 I think this is this is more important than ever.

01:20:07.900 But last night on stage in Washington, D.C.

01:20:11.380 and from an audience and thousands, millions watching on television, Kamala Harris there with

01:20:17.560 him and Joe by his side, excuse me, Dr.

01:20:20.820 Joe Biden by his side.

01:20:22.780 He actually did the meme.

01:20:24.680 We give thanks to our commander in chief, the president of the United States, the extraordinary

01:20:30.960 president of the United States, Joe Biden.

01:20:36.060 Oh, happy Independence Day.

01:20:41.600 Oh, what?

01:20:43.360 Oh, happy Independence Day.

01:20:48.880 I just can't make this stuff up.

01:20:51.940 It's unbelievable.

01:20:53.820 He did the meme in real life.

01:20:56.300 Ho, ho, ho. 0.99

01:20:59.160 Happy Independence Day.

01:21:04.080 Folks, it was it was another rough night again last night.

01:21:09.640 We have the TV interview coming this evening.

01:21:13.420 8 p.m.

01:21:14.220 George Sneffel up, I guess, on ABC.

01:21:17.780 It's pre-recorded.

01:21:18.880 So they'll be able to edit and all of that.

01:21:21.000 But who knows what's coming in that interview tonight?

01:21:39.680 It's a new day.

01:22:06.640 Welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.

01:22:20.380 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:22:27.900 And all the news never stops, even on a holiday.

01:22:31.980 In fact, this year, it's full speed ahead.

01:22:36.300 Never a dull moment.

01:22:37.540 We make sure you stay up to date with it all.

01:22:39.380 But we want to go back to and look at the massive consequences to the Supreme Court rulings that came out over the last week or so.

01:22:48.380 Get some more clarity on what really happened and talk about maybe some of the most important issues that came out when it comes to President Trump's court cases as well.

01:22:58.820 How they'll be impacted January 6th and more.

01:23:03.600 Julie Kelly's been following it all.

01:23:05.620 In fact, she is one of the best when it comes to covering these topics.

01:23:09.160 She's been in the courtrooms and now she'll be with us.

01:23:12.360 Right after this, the latest update.

01:23:14.740 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:23:21.320 In an era of escalating social unrest and rising crime rates, safeguarding our families has never been more critical.

01:23:31.420 That is why I'm endorsing the Berna Less Lethal Pistol Launcher.

01:23:35.800 It's a non-lethal defense option developed by common sense gun owners who value the power of choice.

01:23:42.900 This device enables you to de-escalate dangerous situations effectively without the finality of lethal force.

01:23:50.600 The Berna offers a safer, sensible alternative that can save lives on both ends, protecting the user and delivering formidable stopping power to deter aggressors.

01:24:01.880 Legal in all 50 states, no background checks or permits required and can be shipped directly to your door.

01:24:08.180 It's more than just an option.

01:24:10.040 It's an essential tool for responsible, non-lethal protection.

01:24:14.600 Visit Berna, B-Y-R-N-A dot com slash Glenn.

01:24:17.800 Get 10% off your purchase.

01:24:19.320 Stay safe with Berna dot com slash Glenn.

01:24:22.540 So, let's go through some of these massive rulings from the Supreme Court in this last session here.

01:24:34.740 Julie Kelly joins us now.

01:24:36.320 She is a self-described J6 conspiracy theorist, insurrection denier.

01:24:42.760 Maybe these are things other people have said about her.

01:24:48.000 Former food blogger, but she's also an author and she writes for Real Clear Investigations, but also extensively on Twitter X and keeps us up to date with everything that's happening January 6th.

01:25:00.580 All the SCOTUS rulings, the Trump cases and more.

01:25:03.820 Julie, thank you for being here with us today on the Glenn Beck program.

01:25:07.080 Hey, Justin.

01:25:07.880 Good to talk with you.

01:25:08.960 Thanks so much for having me on.

01:25:10.280 I always enjoy reading because you are bringing us a lot of times, I find, the story behind the story.

01:25:18.520 In other words, you can read, you know, some of the blogs or mainstream media sources and a lot of times you're going to get a lot of stuff that's left out.

01:25:26.280 You're bringing documents in actual conversations about what's happening in the courtroom.

01:25:31.560 You've been in the courtroom, as I mentioned, a lot of the times for these things.

01:25:36.160 So, there's just a unique perspective on this.

01:25:38.340 I want to start maybe with the Supreme Court cases.

01:25:43.300 Out of everything that we got, and there was a lot, but out of everything that we got, not only was there a good number of rulings that we got this last term, but, you know, there were, I think, several with major, major impact and implication on what we're seeing happening.

01:26:00.900 What do you think was the biggest?

01:26:04.060 Well, I mean, I think you could argue cases like the Chevron overturning the Chevron doctrine, which gives deference to federal agencies and the vagueness.

01:26:13.720 And this is, this was an issue in another one, the Fisher ruling vagueness of the laws that Congress passes and really sets up these interpretations that maybe they didn't intend, maybe they did.

01:26:27.580 So, Chevron will be a big one in terms of how these rogue federal agencies can just make up their own regulations and impose them on the American people, businesses, et cetera.

01:26:39.840 Of course, the two that I was watching the most closely is the Fisher versus United States.

01:26:46.340 This was the case that originated out of the J-6 prosecution and this 1512c2 obstruction of an official proceeding statute.

01:26:56.220 Again, an example of how the DOJ can weaponize very vague language, misinterpret it, abuse it before the courts.

01:27:06.000 The courts allow it, of course, and in this case, in a very destructive way.

01:27:10.820 So, this was a post-Enron document evidence impairment statute, as you recall, Arthur Anderson shredding documents related to the Enron scandal in 2002.

01:27:21.840 This law was passed.

01:27:23.580 Well, now the DOJ used it.

01:27:25.500 They claimed that protesters who went into the building, some who didn't even go into the building, obstructed an official proceeding, meaning interrupted the counting of the electoral certificates that day,

01:27:36.500 and therefore were guilty of this felony punishable by 20 years in prison.

01:27:41.580 Justin, they have brought this felony count against more than 350 J-6ers. 1.00

01:27:47.060 It also represents two of the four counts in Jack Smith's criminal indictment against Donald Trump for January 6th in the 2020 election.

01:27:55.100 What the court did on Friday, and I have to say this was so gratifying to me on behalf of the January 6th defendants and their families,

01:28:04.280 my first article about 1512 C-2 is March of 2021, is they started indicting protesters on this count.

01:28:12.820 So, the court basically came back and said, no, no, no, interrupting a government function that is not what this law is intended to do.

01:28:20.500 You have to prove that there was evidence impairment, document record tampering, or impairment or destruction,

01:28:28.520 not just interrupting a function of Congress.

01:28:31.800 So, they have now kicked that back to the lower courts and basically said to the panel, the appellate court,

01:28:39.960 who upheld this, and said, you have to demonstrate now, the government and the judges have to demonstrate

01:28:46.280 in the burden of proof that that particular defendant impaired evidence or a record.

01:28:50.920 So, we're going to see what happens there, Justin, but you won't be shocked to hear that the DOJ, Joe Biden,

01:28:57.480 Merrick Garland, Matthew Graves, the D.C. U.S. attorney who's overseeing this criminal prosecution,

01:29:01.820 they're trying to figure out a way that they can connect the electoral certificates that day.

01:29:07.140 That's the nexus to holding up this count.

01:29:09.840 They are absolutely unrepentant, and this demonstrates the corruption, the dirtiness, and the lawlessness of our own Department of Justice,

01:29:20.020 who can't just say, okay, he tried, gave up.

01:29:24.620 Of course, these people weren't impairing certificates.

01:29:26.940 They never saw them.

01:29:27.940 They never got within, you know, a mile of them.

01:29:31.740 But it's not stopping the DOJ.

01:29:34.400 So, we'll see how the federal judges in Washington handle that.

01:29:37.600 But I'm going to have a piece up on my sub-stack this weekend detailing how the DOJ plans to keep that count.

01:29:45.060 So, let's hope that the courts don't go along with it.

01:29:47.520 And then, of course, the immunity decision that came down Monday is huge, not just for Donald Trump,

01:29:51.600 but, of course, for the future of the country, future presidents.

01:29:55.800 You know, I want to come back to immunity, but first on January 6th,

01:30:00.080 Julie Kelly with us right now.

01:30:02.220 You can find her on Twitter, access, Julie underscore Kelly, too.

01:30:06.140 And all of these things that she's writing about extensively there as well in her sub-stack.

01:30:11.320 But let me ask you the January 6th.

01:30:14.740 A lot of these guys, in their horrific stories, many of them who've had to just really go through torturous conditions.

01:30:24.460 They've been some suicides.

01:30:25.900 Some of them had taken their lives.

01:30:29.020 And these stories aren't being told.

01:30:31.620 A lot of people, outside of people like you and various, but few others, have talked about these stories.

01:30:39.740 The miscarriage of justice, the weaponization of the Justice Department and all of this.

01:30:45.660 What's going to happen to them?

01:30:47.120 It seems like they may have gotten some relief from the Supreme Court.

01:30:50.200 But as I've been paying attention more and more to these things and talking about these cases and what we see happening here,

01:30:58.220 I realize the Supreme Court can come out and they can weigh in as they ought to.

01:31:05.000 But at the end of the day, who holds these other folks accountable in the Justice Department and the Biden administration?

01:31:13.940 How do we actually get relief for these folks who've gone through it all?

01:31:19.340 Well, there has to be a full-blown investigation into the Department of Justice for how they abused and wrongfully prosecuted an entire group of individuals.

01:31:30.180 And to your point, resulting in suicide, at least five January 6th defendants have committed suicide.

01:31:37.080 One we know directly, Matthew Perna, as a result of the 1512 C2 charge, where they warned his attorney that they were going to ask for years in prison after he pleaded guilty to that count and a few misdemeanors.

01:31:52.380 You have over 110, 120 defendants who already served their jail time or are in jail right now because of being wrongfully prosecuted and convicted, either by a D.C. jury or pleading guilty, which technically is still a conviction.

01:32:11.840 In jail right now.

01:32:14.200 Lives destroyed.

01:32:15.220 These families have been bankrupted.

01:32:16.780 Families have been torn apart.

01:32:18.040 Marriages have ended.

01:32:18.900 These people are complete outcasts in their communities, which is why some of them committed suicide.

01:32:25.540 And after these suicides, I hear from Jay Sixers who say, I understand why they did it.

01:32:30.780 I've thought about this myself.

01:32:32.540 Because never before has a group of political protesters, demonstrators, been cast as domestic terrorists, hearing this from Joe Biden and Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray, being hounded by the national media and their local media.

01:32:50.740 I mean, I have so many horror stories.

01:32:54.600 I talk a little bit in my first book.

01:32:56.040 I'm going to need an update.

01:32:57.820 But, Justin, the one thing that's a little bit helpful is as these protesters, these Jay Sixers, are getting out of jail, they are telling their stories about what happened and their personal stories.

01:33:08.480 And we just have nothing like this in American history that's similar to this.

01:33:16.380 So, to your point, what is the accountability?

01:33:18.860 Full-blown investigation.

01:33:20.320 Donald Trump wins into the Department of Justice for what they did, weaponizing this, holding not just Merrick Garland, Lisa Monaco, the deputy, Matthew Graves, but these lying prosecutors.

01:33:30.680 I've seen in court in Washington, D.C., wanting these people hauled up to jail immediately for 1512C2.

01:33:38.320 More importantly, Justin, this Congress, if we win again, needs to impeach, hold impeachment proceedings for, I mean, I have 15 judges in D.C.

01:33:49.140 I would want to start impeachment proceedings against.

01:33:52.480 They need to regain their oversight, ability, control, authority of federal courts, especially in Washington, because you had 18 judges sign off and put their judicial imprimatur on the abuse of that statute.

01:34:08.640 They knew that's not what the statute was for.

01:34:11.080 They knew the language was not intended, how DOJ tried to convince them.

01:34:17.340 But you had 15 judges on the district court, including Trump-appointed judges, and then two on the appellate court, who also upheld this, or excuse me, three.

01:34:27.720 They knew what they were doing was wrong, but they didn't care, and they didn't care about the lives they destroyed.

01:34:33.160 We have to impeach some of these judges.

01:34:35.740 It has been, I think, a few decades since Congress has impeached a federal judge.

01:34:39.920 It is time to rein in, not just the rogue DOJ, but their enablers, who are sitting in powerful, unaccountable posts on the federal judge.

01:34:52.560 Julie Kelly with us right now.

01:34:54.780 It sounds like the road to clearing this up, the road to redemption, it goes right through this election here.

01:35:02.540 Again, underscoring how, just how critical, the most critical of our lifetime.

01:35:07.340 And President Trump said maybe even the nation's history.

01:35:10.820 I think there's a lot of truth to that, to be able to go through and right some of these wrongs.

01:35:16.200 Julie, can you, I'm going to take a quick break.

01:35:18.240 Can you hang with us for just a second?

01:35:19.400 I want to come back and ask you about the blows that were dealt to the deep state in some of these cases,

01:35:24.020 with that bureaucratic state here in just a second.

01:35:27.940 We'll come right back.

01:35:29.620 If you can hang with us, we'll be right back after this quick message.

01:35:32.300 Justin Barkley in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:35:37.340 With our endless money printing and record debt, protecting wealth is more challenging than ever.

01:35:42.340 And if Biden is re-elected, he's promised to make it nearly impossible.

01:35:45.780 The gold standard for wealth preservation has always been gold or silver, precious metals.

01:35:50.520 I strongly urge you to put a portion of your retirement portfolio in gold and silver.

01:35:54.860 I know, I know, it's a tough decision.

01:35:56.140 And who should you work with to buy gold?

01:35:57.860 The company that you can trust is Lear Capital.

01:36:13.200 Join me and the thousands of satisfied customers who decided to swap some of our dollars for gold.

01:36:17.460 Seriously, what are you waiting for?

01:36:18.740 Call Lear Capital today, 800-889-3070.

01:36:21.840 Get your free gold guide and an IRA investor's kit.

01:36:24.920 When you call, make sure you ask,

01:36:26.120 how do you get up to $15,000 in bonus gold or silver with a qualifying purchase?

01:36:30.360 800-889-3070.

01:36:32.320 Call 800-889-3070.

01:36:34.840 Remember, 800-889-3070.

01:36:47.660 So there were some big blows dealt in the Supreme Court cases.

01:36:52.100 Everything from the powers that went to some of the deep state,

01:36:56.500 the folks in the bureaucratic state will be able to do specifically when it comes to their options and the EPA and how these folks are going to be bound in so many different ways because of these decisions.

01:37:12.860 But also, immunity.

01:37:15.940 Another big case that we barely scratched the surface on here.

01:37:20.600 President Trump, and this is something that I guess really the Supreme Court did here.

01:37:25.260 As we're talking with Julie Kelly right now about these latest Supreme Court cases.

01:37:28.860 This was always the case.

01:37:30.940 The president has always just sort of off the record, I guess, had this immunity, especially when it comes to official acts.

01:37:39.140 But they sort of really just put the official sign-off on this.

01:37:45.040 Is that what we see here?

01:37:46.140 And what does it mean for this president?

01:37:47.600 Obviously, President Trump in his court case is moving forward.

01:37:51.300 He's got various, including the one that they've now moved the sentencing back from July 11th until September 18th.

01:37:58.960 What does it mean for all of them, Julie?

01:38:01.280 So, the immunity decision that came down Monday, this originated out of Special Counsel Jack Smith's indictment against Donald Trump in Washington.

01:38:11.080 And unlike the other cases, well, except for Georgia, this case relates to specific conduct of the former president while he was in office versus the classified documents case I'm also covering in Florida, where the indictment starts after or the alleged crimes happened after he left.

01:38:29.700 So, this has been moving, marching through the court system rather quickly, despite how the media has portrayed it.

01:38:36.360 And to your point, Justin, this is an unprecedented question.

01:38:40.280 Never before has a president been criminally charged in a federal indictment.

01:38:45.960 Jack Smith now has two against Donald Trump.

01:38:48.360 And the presumption that, of course, the president would not be criminally prosecuted for things he did in office because of the potential chilling impacts, et cetera, things that the court talked about in the opinion handed down Monday, authored by Chief Justice John Roberts.

01:39:05.500 So, basically, what the court said, they kind of created three different buckets of immunity.

01:39:13.840 So, number one, the court said very explicitly, a president has to be immune from criminal prosecution for official acts.

01:39:21.040 So, these are authorities and powers that only a president has.

01:39:24.860 You know, Justin, the idea that a president is just like the rest of us and should be held to the same standard of the rule of law.

01:39:31.480 Well, the president is the only person in America who can send troops to war, who could authorize the murder, the killing of foreign leaders or terrorist leaders, et cetera.

01:39:43.200 There's a whole host of powers outside of the law that a president possesses.

01:39:49.360 So, how do you draw that line?

01:39:50.980 So, the court said official acts that are clearly defined in the Constitution and law, that has to be protected.

01:39:58.840 Number two, they said, kind of this outer perimeter powers of the president.

01:40:05.680 So, maybe not directly related to Commander-in-Chief and his other positions, but say, okay, vice president.

01:40:13.460 They consult each other.

01:40:15.500 You select the vice president.

01:40:16.900 They run with you.

01:40:18.380 You know, they have a collaborative, consultative relationship.

01:40:22.400 So, in terms of the J6 indictment, was his communications with Mike Pence under his even outer perimeter authority as the president at the time?

01:40:34.660 Or was it outside of that because, of course, he was trying to convince Mike Pence to go with the Eastern Plan and send these electoral certificates in contested states, either reject them or send them back to the states, right?

01:40:45.840 So, the court said the lower courts have to figure out where that falls.

01:40:51.220 And then the court said, quite reasonably, if it's clearly personal conduct and criminal conduct, it's not protected by immunity.

01:40:59.380 So, of course, that would be related to, you know, a lot of different crimes.

01:41:03.820 If the president went and knocked off the Saks Fifth Avenue, okay, well, he's not going to get immunity from criminal prosecution.

01:41:09.860 So, that's basically the rundown.

01:41:13.780 What happens now, Justin, and I have a piece on my sub stack explaining this, the court sent it back to the lower courts because the lower courts really did not do their due diligence in figuring out in the elements in Jack Smith's indictment which one is an official act.

01:41:27.720 And, of course, the president can't be charged criminally and which aren't.

01:41:32.020 So, this will now go back to the lower courts.

01:41:34.740 Judge Chetkin, who's presiding over this in Washington, will hold some sort of evidentiary hearing between both sides as they flesh out what should be covered based on the Supreme Court's ruling and what isn't.

01:41:46.120 That will then make its way through the courts again and probably end up at the Supreme Court in the fall.

01:41:50.940 Meaning what?

01:41:52.260 There will be no trial of Donald Trump in Washington, D.C. for the events of January 6th before the November election.

01:42:00.280 It just won't make its way through the courts that quickly.

01:42:03.060 But there will be a lot to learn in the process during these evidentiary hearings, making it to the appellate court, et cetera.

01:42:10.220 So, that's where that stands.

01:42:13.140 So, we'll keep an eye on that, particularly with what comes out of the latest with Jack Smith there.

01:42:18.240 Julie Kelly, always a pleasure.

01:42:19.880 Where can folks find you and stay up to date?

01:42:22.840 Thanks for having me on, Justin.

01:42:24.440 I am at Declassified with Julie Kelly as my sub stack.

01:42:27.580 Real clear investigations.

01:42:28.660 I have quite a few pieces on 1512 for people who want background.

01:42:32.560 And then, to your point, I've spent a lot of time on Twitter.

01:42:35.760 Try not to this weekend, but Julie understands how it is, too.

01:42:40.540 There you go.

01:42:41.220 Well, we appreciate it when you do.

01:42:42.540 We know you need a rest.

01:42:43.400 Julie, thank you so much for being with us this holiday weekend.

01:42:46.520 Always a pleasure.

01:42:47.980 You too, Justin.

01:42:48.760 Take care.

01:42:49.160 Thanks.

01:42:49.440 There you go.

01:42:50.760 Just breaking through some of the, branching apart through some of the biggest, break it

01:42:55.520 down, some of the issues in the Supreme Court cases, what they actually mean, and the fallout

01:42:59.660 of all of it as we continue.

01:43:02.620 A lot still yet on the table.

01:43:04.340 In fact, when we come back, bottom of the hour, we've got the latest.

01:43:06.960 Dr. Fauci proves just how bad the good doctor is.

01:43:12.300 The bad medicine update you won't want to miss right after this.

01:44:33.780 Avoiding the woke mainstream messaging in favor of truth.

01:44:37.640 More Glenn Beck in a moment.

01:44:38.760 Is this proof?

01:45:02.500 This has to be proof.

01:45:03.960 Proof of just how bad the good doctor is.

01:45:08.760 Fauci has stepped in it again, and I mean, it's obvious to everyone else.

01:45:14.720 This is why you don't follow the experts, trust the experts, and all that other stuff.

01:45:19.620 This is it.

01:45:23.220 How horrific he was during COVID and all the Nazis. 0.92

01:45:28.280 Now he's out there saying it's unfair.

01:45:30.320 It's unfair.

01:45:31.340 Well, Anderson, you know, first thing, the guy's always talking to Anderson Cooper for

01:45:34.900 whatever reason.

01:45:35.460 And Anderson, you know, first of all, you know, it's unfair.

01:45:39.740 It's unfair to judge Joe Biden's health based on a 90-minute debate.

01:45:44.460 Excuse me?

01:45:45.920 We, maybe not his health, but his mental state, I think, is clear. 0.96

01:45:50.480 It's obvious, and it's obvious to me, and it's obvious to everyone with half a brain

01:45:58.540 or a couple of brain cells working together there at all, that Joe Biden didn't have many

01:46:03.200 firing that night, and probably not ever.

01:46:07.140 At least not between the hours of 10 and 4, from what we understand.

01:46:10.620 And certainly not after 8 p.m., which his campaign has now said that they're going to stop.

01:46:15.340 And he's told governors, Democrat governors, he's going to stop scheduling events after 8 p.m.

01:46:24.820 Biden, he may have just had, you know, it might have just been a reaction to cold medicines.

01:46:28.900 You know, I know a thing of that, too, about the cold.

01:46:31.220 Because, you know, the cold's a coronavirus.

01:46:37.520 You know that, right?

01:46:38.200 Anyway, this is Fauci himself saying that there's nothing wrong with Biden.

01:46:42.480 It just looked like a bad night, because my interaction with him was what I described in the book,

01:46:48.600 and what happened even subsequent to what I described in the book after I got out.

01:46:56.000 You know, he's very probing in his questions, very analytical.

01:46:59.960 Sure.

01:47:00.320 Very calm about things.

01:47:02.740 When you go in to brief him, Major, you better really know your topic,

01:47:07.320 because he's going to ask you very relevant questions.

01:47:12.020 And he's very reflective on things, and just doesn't jump out with conclusions or anything,

01:47:18.000 but is very analytic.

01:47:19.940 So my interactions with him, I have to say, have been very, very positive.

01:47:25.420 Did you see the debate?

01:47:26.980 I did.

01:47:27.420 Did anything about that, what you saw, medically alarm you?

01:47:33.580 You know, I can't say.

01:47:35.000 I think it would be inappropriate to say that, Major, because when you just...

01:47:39.520 The answer is yes.

01:47:41.040 ...looking at someone on a one-shot...

01:47:43.180 If it weren't, look, if it weren't yes, he'd just say flat out no.

01:47:49.240 There wouldn't be, well, I think it's inappropriate, you know, it's inappropriate for me to say.

01:47:54.040 Is he talking to Major Garrett there from CBS News?

01:47:57.420 ...basis.

01:47:58.040 You just don't know what could happen.

01:48:00.160 Did he have a bad cold?

01:48:01.980 You know, did he take an antihistamine today?

01:48:05.040 No, he did not.

01:48:05.920 KJP said he did not take anything.

01:48:08.160 You know, groggy or what have you.

01:48:10.300 We don't know what went on, and I think it would be unfair and inappropriate to try and

01:48:16.100 diagnose something from just the...

01:48:18.260 No, if it's Trump, they have no problem.

01:48:21.580 Diagnosing something major, we can diagnose it.

01:48:25.160 If it's Trump, it's easy to do.

01:48:27.820 Biden, you know, I got a tiptoe here.

01:48:30.740 Got a tiptoe around all of this.

01:48:35.000 I got to get the boots on.

01:48:36.540 There's tiptoeing happening with the boots on, apparently, right now.

01:48:45.020 Folks are weighing in on the website right now.

01:48:48.140 Look, I tried to get as many as I can on today to talk to you.

01:48:52.700 So, obviously, phone lines always open, 888-727-BECK.

01:48:58.440 That's the number if you want to join in.

01:49:01.260 But a lot of people find it easier because they don't have to wait on the phone, et cetera,

01:49:05.400 and it's a holiday weekend just to go online.

01:49:07.400 JustinBarkley.com, B-A-R-C-L-A-Y, JustinBarkley.com.

01:49:10.600 You hit the red button.

01:49:11.280 It's a talkback button.

01:49:12.760 It'll send your message to me, and I can play it like I do for Adam.

01:49:15.280 Hey, Justin.

01:49:16.500 Thanks for the opportunity to sound off.

01:49:18.580 I was thinking maybe Joe was thinking that it was Christmas in July,

01:49:24.740 and that's why he said, ho, ho, ho.

01:49:27.700 Also, in the religious realm, did you happen to know that in the olden days,

01:49:34.300 way back when, when there were no picture shows,

01:49:37.260 that when Satan or the devil would come out on stage for, say, like an opera show or whatever,

01:49:46.280 that he would announce his presence on stage by saying, ho, ho, ho.

01:49:55.140 Oh.

01:49:56.720 Thank you.

01:49:57.560 I did not know.

01:49:59.780 That's, that's new on me.

01:50:01.280 I had no idea, but that, that makes, that makes a lot make sense now.

01:50:04.620 Ho, ho, ho. 0.99

01:50:08.340 Happy Independence Day.

01:50:10.400 Ho, ho, ho. 0.99

01:50:11.500 By the way, that was from last night.

01:50:15.780 It's not the worst from Biden.

01:50:17.260 We had another clip on a Philadelphia radio show, W-U-R-D.

01:50:22.580 This has just come out.

01:50:24.000 Him claiming to be the first, he's the first black woman to serve with a black president.

01:50:29.320 I'm proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman to serve with a black president.

01:50:37.160 I don't know.

01:50:38.940 Maybe, maybe that's taking out a con.

01:50:40.260 Maybe he's trying to say that he's proud that he has the first black woman vice president and that he served with Obama.

01:50:49.480 I don't, I won't beat him up over that way.

01:50:51.300 There's plenty more.

01:50:52.040 There's plenty and there's enough out there to, to beat him up over.

01:50:57.300 And that's, obviously, that's not, that's not the, that's not the goal anyway.

01:51:02.880 But it is the goal to at least discuss, at least talk about what is really, really happening.

01:51:11.160 And, of course, because, again, the, you know, the media has been absolutely silent on this for the last few years.

01:51:19.100 And they're just now discovering this.

01:51:21.120 Can you imagine what, it's got to be tough for them to, like, the media just now discovering that all of a sudden there's something wrong with Joe.

01:51:26.560 Oh, all of a sudden they're just now discovering this.

01:51:30.300 KJP having to answer tough questions in the briefing room.

01:51:33.540 I am for sure.

01:51:34.440 And so that has been something he has consistently done over the past couple of days for sure, for certain.

01:51:40.120 Have an afternoon nap every day.

01:51:43.060 Let me be very clear about this.

01:51:46.260 This is a president that wakes up every morning and puts the American people first.

01:51:51.100 That's what he does.

01:51:53.840 Wakes up every morning, probably doesn't even know his name at first.

01:51:57.060 The question was just a simple question.

01:51:58.940 Does he take an afternoon nap?

01:52:00.560 There's nothing wrong with an afternoon nap.

01:52:02.660 A little siesta?

01:52:04.420 Lots of folks do this around the world.

01:52:06.360 In fact, I don't mind a little siesta myself here and there.

01:52:09.300 I think that's kind of nice.

01:52:10.480 I'd get, if I can, in fact, to me, that's the ultimate luxury.

01:52:13.620 As a little, as I get a little, see, I got a week of vacation coming up next week.

01:52:17.700 I'm taking some time.

01:52:19.160 Be with a family and whatnot.

01:52:20.480 I think I'm going to take a siesta.

01:52:23.460 No doubt, Glenn, probably, I don't know.

01:52:26.160 Maybe there's nothing stopping him.

01:52:27.420 Maybe he's not going to.

01:52:28.300 I bet.

01:52:29.280 Why wouldn't you get a little siesta to get a little nap?

01:52:31.380 And I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

01:52:33.200 That's not the problem.

01:52:34.100 With the question, it's her answer.

01:52:35.500 Listen to that.

01:52:36.100 She can't even answer, does he take a nap?

01:52:37.820 He does that every single day.

01:52:40.660 That is his focus.

01:52:42.740 I am not going to speak to sources out there, unnamed sources out there.

01:52:48.180 That's not what I'm going to speak to.

01:52:49.620 I'm going to speak to what I know, what this president does, and how he is committed to

01:52:54.580 the work of the president.

01:52:56.520 Unknown sources.

01:52:57.620 There's a deep throat who is talking about the naps the president is taking.

01:53:01.520 Can't even answer that.

01:53:03.720 Just can't even answer that.

01:53:05.040 Here's a serious question.

01:53:06.060 They're talking about, was the president still tired 12 days after returning from Europe?

01:53:10.180 Because they tried to say it was jet lagged, and then he had a cold.

01:53:13.480 And then if he did have a cold, and he was jet lagged, then why?

01:53:16.860 And I think it's a fair question.

01:53:18.300 Why did he then go to Waffle House and expose everyone to his cold?

01:53:23.900 Why wasn't he wearing a mask?

01:53:25.240 Fauci ought to answer that question, too.

01:53:26.840 But this is a question being asked in the briefing room here from Facts News' Jackie Heinrich.

01:53:32.320 To clarify, Sundman's question.

01:53:34.600 Sure.

01:53:34.800 How is it that the president was still tired 12 days after returning from Europe, had a

01:53:42.360 cold, but then went to the Waffle House, and then the following day staged such a huge

01:53:48.120 comeback that he gave those North Carolina remarks.

01:53:50.560 Like, help us understand.

01:53:51.900 Have you had a cold before?

01:53:53.020 Of course it has.

01:53:53.720 Listen to her answer.

01:53:54.900 Have you ever had a cold before?

01:53:56.700 She's talking to her like, she's a crudging. 1.00

01:53:58.380 I can't believe it.

01:53:59.080 Have you never had a cold?

01:54:00.140 You don't know what the cold's like?

01:54:01.460 Let's understand.

01:54:01.940 Have you had a cold before?

01:54:03.340 Of course it has.

01:54:04.040 Okay, so you probably, well, come on, come on, Jackie.

01:54:06.920 Let's be very, let's be.

01:54:08.180 You have 12 days after you return, though.

01:54:09.960 But you also.

01:54:10.860 And he played jet lag yesterday.

01:54:12.120 Hold on a second.

01:54:13.360 There's a cold.

01:54:14.660 There's a jet lag.

01:54:15.880 Uh-huh.

01:54:16.160 If you combine that, he continues to work for the American people.

01:54:20.140 I think he's got a head cold.

01:54:21.360 There's something going on in the head.

01:54:24.820 Here's a sound off from Ruth.

01:54:28.800 Americans have to start learning how to listen for what's not said rather than just what is said.

01:54:36.740 The Democrat governors came out and said, Joe's in it to win it.

01:54:42.480 But they never said they thought Joe was capable of running in this country or being our commander-in-chief.

01:54:51.500 God bless America.

01:54:53.080 Yeah.

01:54:53.380 Well, Ruth, thank you, by the way.

01:54:55.560 Everyone, Ruth, Adam, anyone who I was able to play on the air today, I will send a copy of my book, Good News, Hope and Encouragement for Trying Times.

01:55:03.920 Very good point, though.

01:55:04.800 I don't think he's capable, not just of running.

01:55:06.740 I don't think he's capable of running the country, not just running for the job.

01:55:11.420 But that's a whole other piece and a very, I think, an obvious piece that's being overlooked right now.

01:55:18.560 But part of the reason why is because a lot of folks, and she's always been the insurance policy, but a lot of folks just terrified of the prospect of what would happen if Kamala became president of the United States.

01:55:37.900 Because, you know, right now, as it is, as it is now, you've got a Biden in there who, I think, clear, he's not running anything.

01:55:48.880 And there are folks behind the scenes running things.

01:55:50.900 But she might be a little too involved.

01:55:52.420 And she actually might get in there and muck it up a little bit. 0.99

01:55:54.920 She might get too involved.

01:55:57.580 And, boy, that's enough to terrify everyone.

01:55:59.780 So, you know, you mean I'm talking about she might be a little too burdened to be unburdened.

01:56:07.240 I can imagine what can be and be unburdened by what has been.

01:56:10.820 You know?

01:56:11.880 What can be unburdened by what has been?

01:56:15.380 What can be unburdened by what has been?

01:56:19.840 What can be unburdened by what has been?

01:56:23.620 What can be unburdened by what has been?

01:56:28.340 That's right.

01:56:28.840 What we can see, what we believe can be unburdened by what has been.

01:56:33.000 Come on now.

01:56:33.500 What can be unburdened by what has been?

01:56:36.820 What can be unburdened by what has been?

01:56:40.260 What can be unburdened by what has been?

01:56:43.540 You know what's clear to me?

01:56:45.860 Word salad can be.

01:56:47.200 Here has, oh, she's got a new nickname, too.

01:56:50.660 This comes straight from Trump.

01:56:51.760 I want to get to that coming up here in just a little bit.

01:56:54.800 Plus, I've got some goodness.

01:56:56.280 On a patriotic note, I'd like to wrap things up.

01:57:00.100 A bit of goodness, things that I noticed the last day or so.

01:57:04.420 So, we'll get to that and much, much more.

01:57:07.120 Back after this, Justin Barclay filling in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:57:13.100 The previous content identified as a rant.

01:57:17.040 You're welcome, or we're sorry.

01:58:34.820 American meat delivered.

01:58:45.140 So we've got a new one.

01:58:46.620 We've got a new nickname for Kamala Harris. 1.00

01:58:50.460 I call her a word salad cami, but President Trump has given her a new nickname, and this is probably going to stick.

01:58:58.180 In a statement from the Trump campaign on the total collapse of the Democrat Party, Joe Biden is weak.

01:59:03.780 It reads in part, failed, dishonest, and not fit for the White House.

01:59:07.760 Every one of them has lied about Joe Biden's cognitive state, talking about the media, and supported his disastrous policies over the past four years.

01:59:15.800 And probably Democrats, but I repeat myself.

01:59:18.200 Especially cackling co-pilot Kamala Harris.

01:59:23.980 Cackling Kamala.

01:59:24.900 That sounds like it's going to stick.

01:59:26.820 It's probably going to land pretty well, and that'll be a good one.

01:59:33.120 All right.

01:59:33.860 How about some good news, some hope and encouragement for trying times, a bit of patriotic news from the parades and the fireworks all yesterday?

01:59:42.300 It seems like it may have been one of the most uplifting and positive, hope-filled Independence Day celebrations I can remember in a while now.

01:59:51.340 I just went to a couple of different places and saw some parades and some things, and people out in full force.

01:59:57.920 And that always, to me, is really cool to see.

02:00:01.200 There was an interesting moment, fireworks and things like that.

02:00:03.980 But yesterday, Yankees Red Sox, Yankees Reds, National Anthem, there was a standoff.

02:00:10.600 It happened yesterday, and this is what happened when they finished the anthem.

02:00:17.900 And the players refused to actually leave the field.

02:00:25.600 They've got their hands over their hats, over their hearts, and they refused to leave the field after the anthem.

02:00:30.000 Do you want to have a play-by-play of a standoff on your resume tape?

02:00:33.280 Yeah, Alex Blandino had a great one against the Pirates.

02:00:36.200 There are two players from the Yankees and one from the Cincinnati Reds standing on the field, and they're in a standoff here.

02:00:44.500 And here comes Jonathan India to the circle.

02:00:46.800 He's ready to go.

02:00:47.760 They're ready to get the game started.

02:00:49.220 These guys won't leave.

02:00:50.800 They're still standing on the track.

02:00:53.560 This has got to be a record, right?

02:00:55.140 There go to Yankees players.

02:00:56.340 Oh, and Graham Ashcraft wins the game before the game.

02:01:00.880 It's just kind of, I think, you know what, uplifting to see that.

02:01:04.020 And one other piece, you know, I got that talkback feature on my website, so people send me messages from the time to time.

02:01:09.220 And I just saw this yesterday.

02:01:11.600 It comes from a man who noticed something as I play the national anthem to start my show each and every day,

02:01:18.200 both on 9, 10 a.m. in Detroit and on NewsRadio 1, 1300, 106.9 FM in Grand Rapids.

02:01:24.100 Hey, Justin.

02:01:24.800 I just want to let you know I appreciate your program and how you started out with the national anthem.

02:01:33.240 This morning I'm waiting to get my truck, trailer loaded.

02:01:37.700 I'm sitting in my truck as the national anthem came on.

02:01:42.240 So I cranked it up as loud as I could, put my windows down, and I looked out of the corner of my eye and I see this homeless guy climb out from under a trailer where he's hiding out, I guess.

02:01:57.200 And he stands up, and he's got his right hand over his heart, and he's rocking back and forth as the Star Spangled Banner is blaring out of the cab of my truck.

02:02:09.300 I just thought that was really cool.

02:02:11.240 And I just want to know.

02:02:12.540 God bless him, and God bless America.

02:02:15.020 Great things still happening across the country.

02:02:17.140 Justin Barclay, JustinBarclay.com.

02:02:21.560 I'm everywhere, at Mr. Justin Barclay.

02:02:23.880 God bless you, and God bless this country.

02:02:26.180 God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you.
