00:00:00.000
Greetings my glorious true friends. Today I want to show you my book games I've made.
00:00:15.600
One of the best feels in the world, get into the book chupa, browse around, find new glorious books.
00:00:21.840
Now obviously I usually know what I'm after but it's always fun to see you know new books which
00:00:27.840
have been coming in etc. Just before I begin I'm still this book and so almost finished with this.
00:00:36.160
Third book in the King Arthur trilogy by M.K. Hume. I can really recommend it. I thought about making
00:00:42.480
a separate book recommendation regarding this but I'm making it now instead. Very solid books.
00:00:49.040
Gives that a semi-grim dark feel to it and a good connection with Britain that was a bit more
00:00:57.680
Romanesque in its influence so none of that high fantasy stuff. So since I was in the
00:01:05.680
late Roman era culture stack I thought read this and great books definitely definitely can recommend
00:01:11.120
them. And then secondly I thought about switching to a Greek like a Hellenic culture stack in the
00:01:17.120
coming days so I choose the fourth installment of this series. The first book is called Killer of Men
00:01:27.680
regarding a Greek hero that goes around killing people basically. Really solid books they fight
00:01:33.200
against the Persians but the book is really nuanced so that the Persians are they are the enemy but
00:01:39.520
they aren't all cruel like in 300. Now obviously I like 300 I love that film but it's a bit black and
00:01:46.160
white for my taste so this portrays the Persians much better. And obviously it's Christian Cameron that
00:01:52.640
also wrote Alexander the God of War. Thirdly a new series by our main man Harry Sidebottom obviously a
00:01:59.920
historian that wrote another very solid series about an angle guy called Marcus Ballista who fought for
00:02:09.840
the Romans and so that series is really good and since it was so good I insta-bought this like the
00:02:16.720
the first installment of a new series so I look forward to that very much and I have high hopes.
00:02:22.560
Next we have a Curse of Babylon. Now this was actually on special offer you got like the fourth
00:02:28.160
book for free so I choose this and because I read the first of those books so I'm actually gonna have
00:02:34.800
to read one two three books before I delve into this but I have that on on hold per se. And it's also
00:02:41.360
in the late roman era 615 a.d. Fucking massive. Admire my shoulders there. And the beard of glory grants me wisdom.
00:02:57.760
And obviously how about some
00:03:04.080
glorious book gains in the Horus heresy. And so yeah two books after each other I read Legion
00:03:12.080
a few weeks back. Really solid book. I can definitely recommend that as well. So I'm gonna read those.
00:03:17.920
I don't know when but they're quite fast to read. They're not that thick and very interesting so they
00:03:24.000
tend to get read out quite easily. So yeah that's my that's my little book gains for this month. I
00:03:34.240
hope you have gotten some inspiration to read a bit more yourself and obviously as I might have mentioned
00:03:39.920
before I read either in the sun. Best fucking thing in the world or before I go to sleep. So it's more
00:03:46.240
of a routine. It's not like I sit and read all day. It's basically just half an hour before bed or as
00:03:53.040
long as the sun is up if I'm not doing anything else. So it's like sunbathing with a book.
00:04:00.000
And who am I? I'm the Lion of Wisdom XXO. Boom!
