00:01:22.320 Either way, I thought to share my plans for this yuletide for this Christmas.
00:01:26.920 And in sharing said Christmas plans, I'm also sharing a valuable teaching when it comes

00:01:33.660 So I will use training examples to illustrate my point.
00:01:37.740 Back in the day when I was a young man.
00:01:40.640 Now I'm a venerable ancient, as I said, I'm 3,400 years old.
00:01:45.400 But in my younger years I literally had to force myself to rest from the gym.
00:01:51.080 Because of course I wanted to go to the gym, but I had to force myself because I knew that
00:01:55.480 sometimes you need to slow down and rest.
00:01:58.120 Otherwise you will train too much, maybe.

00:02:03.380 Because the body itself, not necessarily the muscles, but the skeleton and ligaments, they

00:02:10.940 So you can take a deload week and that simply means that for a week you reduce all weights

00:03:28.400 So if you ask my Christmas plans and I say that, yeah, I will try Age of Empires 4, because

00:03:39.500 I want to play some Assassin's Creed, some Skyrim.

00:03:46.800 You might ask at a first glance, how do these things, how do me playing Skyrim, how does
00:03:52.780 that help in achieving my goals, of imposing my will on the world and, yeah, again, achieving

00:03:59.980 It doesn't help in the short term, but I'm not playing a short-term game.

00:04:05.040 So I need to look out for myself in the long run, in looking out for myself.

00:04:22.100 productive otherwise, how can he then sit down to game?

00:05:04.300 And so that is my plan, to force myself to not be productive.
00:05:08.180 So be with the family, be with the girls, read fiction books, so not my usual books I've

00:05:16.440 So I'm taking a break from all of that, just relaxing a bit more.
00:05:19.520 And then come January, I believe at least, I haven't decided yet, but I believe I will
