00:00:00.000 Greetings, children. Today I want to quickly elaborate a bit on why I prefer the push press towards the strict press.

00:00:30.000 Okay, that was not really the answer to it. The reason is quite simple indeed. It's because it's easier to progress.
00:00:40.000 We all know, I think everyone who's watching this, I think like 80% of all guys who are watching this knows the fucking feel when stall on overhead press.
00:00:50.000 It is really, really hard to progress on it. It is. That's a known fact. It's a notorious fact.
00:00:59.000 So, for me, when I began stalling on the strict military press, I switched to push press because it's easier to progress there.
00:01:08.000 And I became stronger. And as a result of me becoming stronger in the push press, I also got stronger overall and stronger in the stricter press.
00:01:19.000 Now, I'm not strong in the strict press still. I am stronger, not strong.
00:01:24.000 But for me, it is the case that I want to progress there.
00:01:29.000 If I can progress in the push press, but I can't progress in the strict press, it doesn't really matter that much that the strict press might take more exclusively on the shoulders.
00:01:40.000 I just want to move heavy weights and that's also because, yes, I want the shoulders to grow.

00:02:24.000 And in that regard, I just happened to prefer the push press because I can progress easier in that.
