00:01:14.940 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs and welcome to The Great America Show. Good to have you with us.
00:01:23.540 It's been a busy week for the Supreme Court. Yesterday, we told you about Trump's special
00:01:27.820 counsel, Jack Smith, and his petition to the high court for a decision on presidential immunity
00:01:33.860 in the former president's January 6th case. Today, we have more developments out of the court.
00:01:39.720 The Supreme Court saying it will take up an appeal by a January 6th defendant that could result in the
00:01:46.780 reversal of hundreds of charges from the events at the Capitol that day. The justices will review
00:01:53.540 an appellate court ruling that revived charges against those three defendants accused of obstructing
00:01:59.640 official proceedings. The Biden Justice Department brought the obstruction charges against more than
00:02:05.660 300 defendants. Justice may be finally on the horizon for those political prisoners. It's also worth
00:02:12.580 noting that two of the four charges against President Trump in his January 6th case relate to this same
00:02:20.060 statute. Hunter Biden on Capitol Hill yesterday to testify, but instead of testifying, the president's
00:02:27.960 drug plague son, instead put on a show of his own outside the Capitol, hosting his own press conference,
00:02:35.160 if you will, telling the press corps he had nothing to hide and that his father played no part in his
00:02:41.520 business dealings. James Comer, Jim Jordan, Jason Smith, and their colleagues have distorted the facts
00:02:51.600 by cherry picking lines from a bank statement, manipulating texts I sent, editing the testimony of
00:02:59.800 my friends and former business partners, and misstating personal information that was stolen from me.
00:03:06.520 There is no fairness or decency in what these Republicans are doing.
00:03:12.480 They have lied over and over about every aspect of my personal and professional life, so much so that
00:03:24.460 their lies have become the false facts believed by too many people. No matter how many times it is
00:03:32.420 debunked, they continue to insist that my father's support of Ukraine against Russia is the result of a
00:03:39.360 non-existent bribe. They displayed naked photos of me during an oversight hearing.
00:03:47.160 And they have taken the light of my dad's love,
00:03:50.420 the light of my dad's love for me, and presented it as darkness. They have no shame.
00:04:02.760 These same committee chairmen have engaged in unprecedented political interference
00:04:08.000 in what would have already been a five-year investigation of me. Yet, here I am, Mr. Chairman,
00:04:18.760 taking up your offer when you said,
00:04:21.620 we can bring these people in for depositions or committee hearings, whichever they choose.
00:04:28.440 Well, I've chosen. I am here to testify at a public hearing today
00:04:33.400 to answer any of the committee's legitimate questions.
00:04:38.760 Republicans do not want an open process where Americans can see their tactics,
00:04:47.360 expose their baseless inquiry, or hear what I have to say.
00:04:54.780 What are they afraid of?
00:04:56.260 I'm here. I'm ready.
00:05:00.620 So there you have it from Hunter Biden himself.
00:05:04.160 House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan had a press conference of their own.
00:05:10.260 We're disappointed that he didn't show up. I mean, he was just across the way at the Capitol.
00:05:14.580 You'd think he could have come here and set the question.
00:05:16.940 If you do it in an open format now, you're going to get filibusters, you're going to get speeches,
00:05:21.440 you're going to get all kinds of things. What we want is the facts.
00:05:25.340 And the way you get the facts in every single investigation I've been involved in
00:05:29.560 is you bring people in for an interview behind closed doors where you can get those facts.
00:05:34.700 And then, as the chairman said, we'd love for him to come public.
00:05:37.180 Finally, I would say this.
00:05:38.680 Mr. Biden's counsel and the White House have both argued that the reason he couldn't come for a deposition
00:05:43.900 was because there wasn't a formal vote for an impeachment inquiry.
00:05:48.140 Well, that's going to happen in a few hours.
00:05:49.800 We think it's going to pass.
00:05:51.460 We think the House of Representatives will go on record with a power that solely resides in the House
00:05:56.140 to say we are in an official impeachment inquiry phase of our oversight.
00:05:59.940 And when that happens, we'll see what their excuse is then.
00:06:02.900 They should have been here today.
00:06:04.160 But once we take that vote, we expect him to come in for his interview, for his deposition.
00:06:10.100 And frankly, we'll also, I think, look at contempt proceedings as we move forward.
00:06:14.640 And that impeachment is now formalized.
00:06:17.580 The next step, if Hunter decides not to come back for a deposition, is contempt of Congress.
00:06:23.240 And our sources tell us Chairman Jordan is prepared to move ahead with those charges.
00:06:28.000 And new details emerging about the death of Obama family chef Toffee Campbell,
00:06:34.160 who drowned on the Martha's Vineyard property of the Obamas.
00:06:38.020 Judicial Watch uncovered new documents revealing there were operational failures
00:06:43.420 with Secret Service rescue boats during the emergency.
00:06:47.560 It was confirmed that Campbell was not wearing a life jacket
00:06:50.960 while he was out paddleboarding in just eight feet of water.
00:06:55.120 It seems the Secret Service is having a lot of problems,
00:06:58.980 whether it be drunk driving, phone record retention, visitor logs,
00:07:04.700 investigating narcotics at the White House,
00:07:07.480 or simply a life rescuing operation.
00:07:10.540 The Secret Service has a lot of problems.
00:07:14.440 Our guest today is the host of Steve Bannon's War Room,
00:07:18.320 a great American, great friend, Steve Bannon.
00:07:20.960 Steve, good to have you with us.
00:07:23.260 Thank you.
00:07:23.760 Love the show.
00:07:24.420 Love the audience.
00:07:25.580 Well, thank you very much.
00:07:26.680 And same back at you.
00:07:28.860 Let's start with 702, a confused House of Representatives
00:07:34.180 that is confusing the rest of us.
00:07:37.920 Your thoughts about 702 and why this shouldn't be a straight no
00:07:43.400 immediately from the Republicans.
00:07:46.400 It should.
00:07:47.160 It's disgusting.
00:07:48.180 You know, remember, Lou, for us being fascist and Trump ought to be a dictator.
00:07:51.980 We're the one people that are sitting there throwing down the sand,
00:07:55.400 hey, maybe we shouldn't let the FBI surveil more American citizens.
00:07:59.900 This thing's outrageous.
00:08:00.960 And I think it shows, you know, I love Mike Johnson.
00:08:03.820 I love the biblical worldview.
00:08:05.760 But this is another example, I think, where he gets the intelligence
00:08:08.640 community around him.
00:08:09.540 He sees some classified reports.
00:08:11.020 The next thing he's going, he's, you know, petrified and allowing this
00:08:15.220 to be slipped into this awful NDAA, which I might add has all the Woken
00:08:20.240 weaponized stuff we fought so hard in the committee to get out that when it's
00:08:23.840 passed in July, it's all back in.
00:08:26.120 And now you're going to have slipped into the couple of thousand pages.
00:08:29.480 You're going to have slipped in an authorization or at least a kick down the
00:08:32.780 can to April.
00:08:34.380 But people realize if it goes to April with the FISA, the 702 goes for another
00:08:39.680 year.
00:08:40.340 So it's in the 20, it's in the 2025.
00:08:42.600 It's into the Trump's return.
00:08:44.500 So I think this thing, it just shows you, even with guys like Jim Jordan, some
00:08:48.500 solid guys that there's just not a sense of urgency.
00:08:51.180 I don't think of a house to be fighters on this thing and look at the Senate, all
00:08:54.620 the BS coming out of the Senate about why we need this.
00:08:58.400 It's just, to me, it's pathetic.
00:09:01.320 I couldn't agree with you more.
00:09:03.100 I have never seen a Congress in my career that is so blatantly, obviously, just
00:09:11.240 confounded and completely without any way to find their way forward to supporting
00:09:19.000 their values, their purported values and philosophy of the Republican Party.
00:09:24.420 Lou, the war room audience is, of everything you just listed out, what they're all
00:09:28.420 furious about.
00:09:29.120 The thing they're most furious about is these guys are leaving on Friday.
00:09:34.040 They're going to leave on December 15th.
00:09:36.440 They're not coming back to January 9th when we're 10 days away from the first CR
00:09:42.360 kicking in.
00:09:43.560 Now, I'm a person, and I was raised and trained in just how I am, that if I have
00:09:49.600 important work that needs to be done, I can't take off and go enjoy myself and do
00:09:53.560 something else.
00:09:53.960 I've got to get that done.
00:09:55.260 I've got to focus on that and get it done.
00:09:57.080 Once that's done, then I feel like maybe we take some time off.
00:10:01.400 Maybe we can go do something.
00:10:04.300 I don't understand these guys.
00:10:05.820 There is no sense of urgency.
00:10:07.180 And this is not like they're small issues.
00:10:08.760 You just named a couple of Republican, you know, the Republic ending thing, the invasion
00:10:15.440 of the southern border, nine million illegals here, costing us a half a trillion dollars
00:10:19.360 a year, which I don't even know is budgeted for.
00:10:22.020 I think it just continues to run up the tab.
00:10:24.620 This whole debacle in Ukraine, the Ukraine war is over.
00:10:28.080 Everybody in Europe knows it.
00:10:29.680 They allowed him to come over and talk to our military, directly address our military, and
00:10:35.400 then meet with the arms manufacturers, and then, you know, wander around Congress with
00:10:40.040 a tin cup, and then head the beggars bowl out at the Oval Office, another embarrassment
00:10:45.120 for another $100 billion we don't have.
00:10:47.620 There's so many huge issues, and they haven't even addressed with the spending.
00:10:50.300 Remember, the House is still short four appropriations bills, including justice and the FBI, which
00:10:57.500 is going to be one that's a real fight.
00:10:59.180 The Senate, I'm not sure, has passed four or five of them.
00:11:02.520 They're six or seven short.
00:11:03.620 So when we get back on the 9th, there's going to be another fire drill.
00:11:07.720 There's no chance this thing gets solved by the 19th of January or when the second one
00:11:11.960 comes on the 2nd of February.
00:11:13.900 So they're going to talk about another CR or another January omnibus.
00:11:18.640 And this is all now the fault of leadership.
00:11:22.520 Mike Johnson, who everybody backed when he got in there, it just seems to not understand
00:11:28.320 what this moment's about.
00:11:30.100 And this moment's about a crisis of the American Republic.
00:11:32.580 It can only be addressed with hard work, and I mean hard work, that is, you know, six
00:11:37.920 and seven days a week, 18 to 20 hours a day.
00:11:40.920 And our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, would not be offended if you took a couple hours,
00:11:47.420 had a little ceremony in the Capitol on the morning, on Christmas morning, and went back
00:11:54.100 to work, which I think is what has to happen.
00:11:56.360 And what do you think the odds are that'll happen?
00:12:00.700 Less than zero, Mr. Dobbs.
00:12:03.020 Hey, bro, they're leaving.
00:12:04.620 You know them.
00:12:05.560 Don't get over to Reagan.
00:12:07.160 Don't get in the way of any of these guys leaving town on Friday, because they'll run over you.
00:12:11.440 Right?
00:12:11.760 They're leaving.
00:12:12.320 They booked the tickets.
00:12:13.460 It's all done.
00:12:14.220 And they're not back.
00:12:14.940 And they're not back to the night.
00:12:16.020 Lou, are you taking, do you take three weeks off for Christmas?
00:12:20.480 Do you take, are we a couple of guys in like Stad, Switzerland, the Davos Krautski in the
00:12:27.440 Swiss Alps?
00:12:28.540 I've never heard people take three weeks off.
00:12:30.880 Yeah, only when Klaus Schwab has a sweet book for me with plenty of advance notice, which
00:12:36.300 hasn't happened for decades.
00:12:38.840 So it's, it is stunning to me that we are in 2023 in America, and it feels nothing like
00:12:49.780 the country that I have lived in for my entire life.
00:12:54.520 It feels nothing like the capital that I've been in and out of and the, and the officials
00:13:01.940 that are inhabiting it.
00:13:03.620 I see a country that is truly, truly caught in some sort of centrifugal force, and I want
00:13:11.960 to take that up with you when we come back.
00:13:14.300 We're talking with Steve Bannon, Steve Bannon's War Room.
00:13:18.160 We'll be right back.
00:13:24.520 We're back with Steve Bannon, and Steve, there seems to be something going on here, forces
00:13:31.120 at work that I can't identify, but which I feel, which I, and I trust my instincts and
00:13:38.580 my intuition.
00:13:39.860 There are great, great forces at work here that are somehow beyond our vision and somehow
00:13:47.940 beyond our senses to identify.
00:13:51.540 Your thoughts about what is a turbulent, turbulent period of time in our history?
00:13:58.480 We know I've been a big advocate of this concept of, called turnings, you know, the cyclical
00:14:06.640 nature of American history, and it was personified in the book, The Fourth Turning.
00:14:11.120 I made a movie about it, I don't know, in 2009, so what, 14 years ago, called Generation Zero.
00:14:18.520 Lou, you were nice enough to have me on the show when I came out with the film, you and
00:14:21.660 Sean, you know, I just had Tucker on the show for the launch of his new site, and I went
00:14:28.020 back to Tucker, because I've known Tucker a long time, and he's kind of a happy warrior
00:14:31.300 like Andrew Bright, but they're in the fight, but these guys are very optimistic, glass, you
00:14:35.840 know, half full, blah, blah, blah, all that, and he's taken a very darker turn the last six
00:14:40.620 months, so his heritage speech, he's given an ass, and I said, look, you've always been
00:14:44.600 an upbeat guy, we're in the sublet uplands, and you've gotten, you've gotten almost as
00:14:49.100 dark as I've gotten, and he said, he says, listen, he said, the country I knew and loved
00:14:54.080 is now gone, and fastly receding, I don't know if we can get it back, we probably can't,
00:14:59.160 but it's going to be a hard fight, but he says, I sense a sense of darkness, he says,
00:15:03.020 I've noticed this even with my friends, the friends that even I've lost in being such
00:15:07.280 a member of the MAGA movement, and, you know, America Firster, and he goes on about
00:15:13.220 this darkness, and I think you're right, there's something out there, and I think
00:15:16.880 this is just the cyclical nature of history, like in Ecclesiastes, we're in a season of
00:15:21.900 darkness, and it's upon us patriots to now bind together and to kind of make a blood
00:15:28.740 oath and fight our way through here and try to save this republic, because if we don't
00:15:33.180 do it, and we don't do it now, we're going to lose it forever, what was bequeathed to
00:15:37.520 us from 12 or 13, 14 generations is going to be lost, and this is the
00:15:43.180 New Jerusalem, it's the most unique country in the history of man, it's done, it freed
00:15:48.080 more people, created more wealth, done more for humanity than any country in the history
00:15:53.520 of the earth, and we're in a fight for it right now, but I agree with Tucker, there's
00:15:57.320 a certain darkness out there that is kind of a brooding specter over us, and it's for
00:16:03.840 us patriots to punch through this.
00:16:06.640 I think it's very clear, I don't see the darkness that you or Tucker see.
00:16:11.740 What I see is fearful hearts, uncertain minds, and opponents, enemies, who are obviously
00:16:23.600 clear.
00:16:25.060 But see, I think you described it, I think you described that the uniparty globalist progressive
00:16:32.500 left is so vicious and so outside the bounds of what has been traditional Americanism, that
00:16:39.500 it's that fear, and I think it's in Congress, I think it's a two-play, you worked at two
00:16:44.000 of the greatest, you worked at CNN at the top of its game, and you worked at Fox at the
00:16:49.020 top of its game, and you're seeing it there, and it's one thing Tucker and I talked about,
00:16:52.020 they're good people, there are many good people in Congress, a lot of them are just flatly
00:16:57.640 afraid, they're afraid of stepping up, they're afraid of having a sense of urgency, they're
00:17:02.240 afraid of being a fighter, because they see what happens when you step up at Fox and
00:17:05.880 CNN and other media companies, they're good people there, but they're afraid, they'll
00:17:09.560 be terminated, they're afraid their career will be run, and when people get into their
00:17:13.160 30s and 40s that they've spent 20 or 30 years getting to these positions, it's easier said
00:17:19.620 than done.
00:17:20.220 There's not a lot of, you know, Lou Dobbs and Steve Bann, Tucker Carlson says, hey, screw
00:17:24.800 it, I'll go do something, I'll start a podcast, it'll be just as big.
00:17:28.480 Like, I'm not saying we're particularly brave, but, you know, we, I think, understand risk
00:17:33.100 and how you try to mitigate it.
00:17:34.540 A lot of people don't know that.
00:17:35.680 It is definitely fear, but it's not a, it's not an irrational fear.
00:17:41.060 Look, look what they're doing at Trump.
00:17:42.680 Trump, dude, if I told you, if I'd been on your show in 2020, and I said, hey, Lou, they're
00:17:49.760 going to steal this thing, we're going to get, hey, Lou, we're going to get 74 million votes.
00:17:54.240 You know, I thought I did a great job.
00:17:55.440 We got 63 and 16, we're going to get 74 million votes, Lou, and we're still going to lose
00:18:00.500 between a combination of either the machines or the mail-in ballots, you pick them, but
00:18:04.360 that in a couple of years, Trump's going to be indicted four times on 91 counts, 700 years
00:18:10.800 in prison on criminal charges.
00:18:12.580 They're going to have a show trial, like the Moscow show trials in 1935 in New York, and
00:18:17.220 strip him of all the business his family's worked on for generations.
00:18:21.300 And oh, by the way, they're going to be in nine swing states trying to take him off.
00:18:25.440 The ballot because, oh, yes, with all this, he's still leading in the polls.
00:18:28.900 You would have said, I've lost my mind that that's not America can't happen.
00:18:32.280 It's impossible to happen that that could not happen, that the Justice Department judges
00:18:36.800 the states, particularly even states like Georgia, would never allow that to happen.
00:18:42.000 And yet here we are.
00:18:43.340 And so people look at that and people look at Mike Lindell and they're trying to put
00:18:47.000 Mike Lindell in banks.
00:18:47.940 You know, Mike Lindell went through a very tough time about 100 days ago.
00:18:51.800 I mean, you know, he came on the show today and said, hey, he wanted to thank the warden,
00:18:55.180 the Warren Posse, who really kind of put our shoulder to the wheel.
00:18:57.620 He says he didn't think he'd be able to pay Christmas bonuses.
00:19:00.560 They're trying to destroy Lindell.
00:19:02.400 They're trying to destroy Trump.
00:19:04.300 If you step out of line ever, ever at one of these big media companies, you're out and
00:19:10.260 your career is over.
00:19:11.680 If you step out in a corporate in one of these corporate Fortune 500s, you're out and gone.
00:19:16.020 You'd be 35 or 40 years old.
00:19:17.520 But James O'Keefe gave this speech about this, about fear.
00:19:21.720 And there was an audience, I think it was at the University of, I think it was Northwestern
00:19:26.340 or someplace like the University of Chicago.
00:19:28.620 There was a young minister there.
00:19:29.860 He was about 35, an Episcopalian minister.
00:19:32.880 And he said, look, he says, look, it's easy for you to say, but he says, I am afraid.
00:19:37.120 He says, I'm, you know, 42 years old.
00:19:39.020 I got two kids, a wife and a mortgage.
00:19:40.440 If I get fired here, the reason they fire me will be on my record forever.
00:19:46.620 I won't be able to get a job.
00:19:47.680 I won't feed my kids.
00:19:48.600 People have fear and they have fear because our enemies, and that's what they are, have
00:19:54.400 no bounds.
00:19:55.480 They are out for the politics of personal destruction.
00:19:59.180 And people are fearful.
00:20:00.640 And that's why it's incumbent upon us and others to say, hey, look, and that's why in Congress,
00:20:05.020 you have a few.
00:20:05.900 You don't have many.
00:20:07.000 You have a few.
00:20:07.640 And that's all we need.
00:20:08.560 We need a few more to say, look, this is republic ending what they're doing.
00:20:13.560 If we don't stand up now, if we don't fight, if we don't stand to breach every day, this
00:20:17.620 is going to be over.
00:20:18.620 And the republic, this country will still be something.
00:20:22.000 It will still be wealthy.
00:20:23.260 It will still be powerful.
00:20:23.960 But it will not be the constitutional republic that was handed down to us and bequeathed to
00:20:28.320 us.
00:20:28.540 And that's why this moment is everything right now.
00:20:31.680 We're going to talk with Steve Bannon about how we've squandered a legacy in this country,
00:20:36.560 which is part of this calculus and what has created our current reality.
00:20:43.480 We're also, I want to remind everyone that there is that expression, the politics of personal
00:20:52.140 discretion.
00:20:52.900 We thought it was just a relic of the past from Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton and the
00:21:00.360 Clintonistas, they're the ones who brought that to the fore and is a vicious weapon in
00:21:07.400 American politics.
00:21:08.960 Guess what?
00:21:09.820 It's even meaner and nastier and more effective than ever.
00:21:14.320 We're coming right back.
00:21:15.340 Stay with us.
00:21:15.840 We're back with Steve Bannon.
00:21:23.400 And Steve, you've been podcasting much longer than me.
00:21:28.060 You've been immensely successful.
00:21:30.420 I can't.
00:21:31.560 Yeah, I'm an old vet.
00:21:32.420 I'm an old vet, Lou.
00:21:33.720 You've been doing this.
00:21:34.840 You're 40 years into this.
00:21:36.580 You're the dean.
00:21:38.640 Everybody knows Trump and I.
00:21:40.480 Trump's watching you back in the 80s.
00:21:42.180 I was watching you back when I was a naval officer.
00:21:43.780 You're the dean.
00:21:45.020 You're the mentor when it comes to this.
00:21:48.020 Well, you're very kind.
00:21:49.360 And I learn from you and Mr. Trump all the time.
00:21:54.120 But here we go.
00:21:55.700 I feel a compunction to be bright and at times airy and positive as I'm trying to also inform
00:22:07.000 my audience and to give them my perspective of what is going on in this country.
00:22:12.440 And there are days, I have to say, I don't pull a punch, but maybe I'll just kind of try
00:22:18.020 to land it a little softer than otherwise.
00:22:21.180 But we are right now, I'm running out of ways to avoid the reality that is, in point of fact,
00:22:30.320 a reality that is confused, that is often inexplicable.
00:22:33.480 And I think even the best minds in this country right now are not devoted to solving the problems
00:22:41.280 that are so obvious, whether it is our relationship with the People's Republic of China, whether
00:22:48.580 it is Russia, whether it is the Middle East.
00:22:52.700 We have people like Antony Blinken, Joe Biden, Jake Sullivan.
00:22:59.320 I mean, we have some of the worst talent in the world working on the biggest problems,
00:23:05.640 I think, that the country has ever faced short of war.
00:23:08.940 I agree with you.
00:23:09.980 I mean, if you look at the team, that's why it's so important, I think, for this politics
00:23:12.880 is for the Congress to start getting on top of things and start having extensive urgency
00:23:17.040 and start defunding things.
00:23:18.700 And also for all of us to get our shoulder to the wheel and make sure not only we win 2024,
00:23:24.020 but that we can close the deal.
00:23:25.820 We won last time, it didn't close.
00:23:27.240 We don't have that option now.
00:23:28.940 We have to close the deal.
00:23:30.520 And so I think that that's why all the chips are at the table.
00:23:32.860 And I think, and I strongly believe that that's why, you know, from Tucker to you, to what
00:23:38.460 we're doing on Real America's Voice, on Lindale TV, all these podcasts, they're so important
00:23:45.540 because you're not getting that information at Fox.
00:23:48.920 You're not getting that information clearly at MSNBC or CNN and even most of the conservative
00:23:53.120 media.
00:23:53.580 So we have a lot of uncertainty.
00:23:55.360 And one thing I feel quite comfortable, what I feel good about is that I like who's on
00:24:00.560 our side of the football.
00:24:01.920 At the end of the day, just like in any sport, it's about not just your plan, your strategy,
00:24:06.400 because that only goes to the first time you get punched in the mouth, as Mike Tyson used
00:24:10.440 to say.
00:24:11.320 You have to have a team.
00:24:12.640 And I like our team.
00:24:13.600 I like the way we're adding to our team.
00:24:15.200 I like when I, we're doing interviews in the streets of Chicago and you have young African-American
00:24:19.420 men that said they've had enough of these illegal alien invaders being dumped into their city
00:24:23.980 to destroy it.
00:24:25.700 When you have people in the rear Grand Valley, Hispanic-Americans who have said they've had
00:24:30.300 enough of this, this invasion of our country.
00:24:32.920 I like who we have.
00:24:34.540 I think we're going every day.
00:24:35.780 Not only are these podcasts getting bigger, but the movement's getting bigger, it's getting
00:24:40.420 more energized, and people want action.
00:24:42.140 And they're able to call out even guys that we like and support, like Mike Johnson, who's
00:24:46.400 a good man and a Christian man with a great biblical worldview.
00:24:50.200 But you need to get urgent.
00:24:52.400 And so I like where we are, although I think it's dark and it's going to get a lot darker.
00:24:57.280 Because I tell people, I don't see the deep state and the administrative state welcoming
00:25:04.040 the Trump and the MAGA movement back to power in January 2025 with open arms.
00:25:10.540 I just want to be blunt about that.
00:25:11.720 And I think we've got to really be prepared for a very uncertain and crazy 2024, the entire
00:25:19.340 year.
00:25:19.860 So let's batten down the hatches.
00:25:22.340 I'm batten down the hatches and full speed ahead.
00:25:24.900 I want to talk to you, though, as we are wrapping up here, you were part of a big part of the
00:25:33.260 reason that President Trump won the White House in 2016.
00:25:38.800 You were a big part of establishing the administration and counseling the president.
00:25:46.140 I believe chief strategist was your title there.
00:25:50.100 And and I have to ask you, do you see a way forward in terms of the organization that
00:25:58.120 President Trump has right now?
00:26:00.100 Do you see a way forward in the way the RNC is organized?
00:26:05.500 Well, I think there's two.
00:26:06.360 Number one, I think, to prepare to take over the administration is you've got the heritage
00:26:10.640 guys with Project 2025.
00:26:12.460 You've got Russell.
00:26:13.100 You have other groups that are looking to train up both policy wise and personnel, people
00:26:19.140 that are ready, not people that we know Trump's going to pick, but people that are the draft
00:26:23.720 pool that he could pick for the three thousand political appointees that we can get day one.
00:26:31.120 We have four thousand overall.
00:26:32.620 One thousand are Senate confirmed.
00:26:34.120 Roughly three thousand can hit the beach right away.
00:26:36.460 That's the control of federal apparatus that has about two million civilian employees,
00:26:40.380 about two point five million military.
00:26:43.680 But it also has contractors that, you know, 16 to 18 million.
00:26:46.720 So it's roughly 20 million people in the apparatus.
00:26:50.820 And that, I think, is going very well.
00:26:52.660 And I think these guys are doing a terrific job.
00:26:54.300 We spent a lot of time with them.
00:26:55.740 And I couldn't be more pleased about the depth of quality and thoughtfulness in these programs.
00:27:01.820 And new people are coming on every day.
00:27:03.660 We promoted a lot on the show and a lot of people are volunteering and coming forward.
00:27:07.760 The campaign, I think, right now for a primary is perfectly structured.
00:27:11.120 I think they've done a really good job.
00:27:12.520 It's a very tight group.
00:27:15.320 President Trump knows his policies.
00:27:16.880 He's doing a lot of policy himself in these speeches.
00:27:19.360 But if you look at the organization in Iowa and in New Hampshire and South Carolina, these early states,
00:27:25.560 it looks like it's very well organized.
00:27:27.440 I think even more organized than Corey had in 16.
00:27:30.420 Corey did a terrific job.
00:27:32.960 The general campaign, they're probably going to have to power up.
00:27:36.220 I think President Trump will make that decision at the time when to power up.
00:27:39.580 Now we talk that's outside PACs.
00:27:42.160 And the RNC is a disaster.
00:27:43.900 President Trump should call for.
00:27:45.300 We had Charlie Kirk on the show today.
00:27:47.380 We're adamant.
00:27:47.960 President Trump, it's only President Trump can do it.
00:27:49.900 He's got to call for Rana to step down.
00:27:52.140 We have to revamp the RNC immediately.
00:27:54.120 The state parties of Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, these places, these people have very little money, very little organization.
00:28:01.740 They're central, also Georgia, Nevada.
00:28:04.500 We need the big six to be hitting on all cylinders.
00:28:07.780 That's not happening.
00:28:08.620 They're not raising money.
00:28:09.420 She's got to go.
00:28:10.400 That's a debacle.
00:28:11.960 As far as the PACs go, I'm not feeling it right now.
00:28:16.200 I think President Trump, a lot of his time and attention is diverted like the left wing wanted on legal.
00:28:23.940 They're really sucking up his time and his focus.
00:28:26.300 I think we'll power up.
00:28:28.180 I think the right PACs will come.
00:28:29.820 I think the donors will finally understand it's going to be Trump.
00:28:32.480 I hope that all comes together in February, March of this coming year.
00:28:37.380 And it's got to come together quickly.
00:28:38.860 You have to get together and put this drive.
00:28:41.160 Look, we've wasted tons of money.
00:28:42.400 I think we're going to end up wasting $600 or $700 million on these debates in this bogus primary.
00:28:48.640 But everybody should have the answers.
00:28:50.040 All the donors should have the answers now.
00:28:51.540 Hey, you gave the Sancas a shot.
00:28:53.440 You gave Nikki a shot.
00:28:54.460 You gave Christy a shot.
00:28:55.660 You gave Youngkin a quasi shot.
00:28:57.780 None of them got any traction.
00:29:00.440 It's time to come together back with President Trump.
00:29:02.460 So I'm optimistic in that regard, but there's a lot of work that has to be done.
00:29:06.060 I can see the pieces, the structural pieces, and I see the personnel.
00:29:09.900 I really like some of the team members we've got.
00:29:12.620 And it's all about grinding every day.
00:29:15.280 You're going to have to grind every day between now and 5 November 2024 if you want to win.
00:29:20.820 And I mean 20 hours a day, seven days a week.
00:29:23.280 If those people are prepared to do it, particularly given the debacle the country's had with Biden and the rest of this radical crew,
00:29:30.720 I think good things will happen.
00:29:31.920 And good things have to happen because if we don't win, we'll lose the country.
00:29:36.240 Yeah, this is the precipice.
00:29:38.000 There is no doubt about it.
00:29:39.720 And you've heard it, folks, from the man who knows.
00:29:44.040 This is a – let me ask one question in closing.
00:29:49.500 Do you have a perfect candidate in mind or a semi-perfect – I'll take even semi-perfect – person in mind to replace Ronna McDaniel?
00:29:59.760 I've got a perfect person I would put in there right away.
00:30:03.400 I'd put Don Jr. in there.
00:30:04.840 I think Don Jr. – I think Don Jr., number one, has his father's confidence.
00:30:08.780 Number two, knows what his father's thinking is.
00:30:10.720 Number three, is a huge popular figure among the grassroots and can raise a ton of money among the grassroots.
00:30:17.840 Three, is high energy.
00:30:19.180 He knows what the mission is.
00:30:21.700 I would put Don Jr. in in a second.
00:30:24.240 A Kimberly Guilford could be his wingman.
00:30:26.000 I think we'd be in perfect shape.
00:30:27.680 There's a bunch of others out there, but if you had to ask me, you know, the person I would go to first, I'd ask Don Jr. to do it.
00:30:34.560 Don Jr. would work 24 hours a day, 10 days a week to support his father, the love he has for his father,
00:30:40.920 and understanding what his father has given up by coming back and doing this again.
00:30:46.000 If Trump had walked away, none of this would have happened.
00:30:48.860 He's now a fight for the family, a fight for the country, and a fight for himself.
00:30:53.840 So I think Don Jr. is my perfect candidate.
00:30:55.780 You know what?
00:30:57.360 Can I sign the petition first?
00:30:59.880 I think it's a great idea.
00:31:01.280 I think you're exactly right.
00:31:03.520 Steve, we appreciate you being with us, and all the very best to you.
00:31:08.600 God bless you, and God bless America.
00:31:11.420 I'm your second biggest fan.
00:31:13.480 Your first biggest fan is President Trump himself.
00:31:16.520 I'm your second biggest.
00:31:17.520 I've watched you since the 80s.
00:31:20.200 You're an American institution, and we're so lucky to have you still at your age where you could go do anything you want to commit and do the work you do to help save this republic.
00:31:32.020 So thank you.
00:31:32.660 Have a Merry Christmas.
00:31:33.700 Love the show.
00:31:35.900 You and the missus are the best, and just have a great holiday.
00:31:41.400 Great.
00:31:41.660 Well, I want to say first, I'm honored, and thank you very much for those kind words.
00:31:46.220 And I wish you a Merry Christmas as well.
00:31:48.740 And everyone listening to us and all of our fellow patriots across the country, God bless, and Merry Christmas.
00:31:58.040 Thank you, brother.
00:31:59.220 Thanks to Steve Bannon.
00:32:00.340 Thanks, everybody, for being with us.
00:32:01.860 Our guest here tomorrow on The Great America Show is a great investigative journalist, Julie Kelly, covering January 6th and also the special counsel investigations and prosecution of President Trump.
00:32:14.580 Julie, one of the stars of Real Clear Investigations.
00:32:18.160 So please join us for Julie Kelly and join us each and every day on The Great America Show.
00:32:23.620 Thank you for being with us today.
00:32:25.540 God bless you, and may God bless America.
00:32:27.980 Thank you.
00:32:28.140 And may God bless America.
00:32:28.160 Thank you for listening to this.
00:32:30.060 Thank you.
00:32:31.620 Thank you.
