00:00:00.000 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Great America podcast with Lou Dobbs,
00:00:04.200 always in the fight for truth, justice, and yes, our American way of life.
00:00:09.220 And now here he is, the Peabody award-winning voice of truth, the great Lou Dobbs.
00:00:14.540 Hello, everybody. Welcome to this episode of the Great America show, a bastion of truth,
00:00:20.120 justice, and dedication to the American way. Great to have you here with us.
00:00:24.940 We're joined by one of the most respected Republican leaders in Congress, Jim Jordan of
00:00:30.520 Ohio. Our guest and later America First candidate from the great state of Georgia, Vernon Jones,
00:00:37.100 will join us. A lot to talk about with both. We turn to Ukraine first today, much to get caught
00:00:45.020 up on and try to comprehend, never easy in times of conflict. Volodymyr Zelensky briefed U.S.
00:00:53.000 congressmen and senators by satellite over the weekend. Some 200 of them listened to
00:00:58.600 Zelensky told them Ukraine needs more jet fighters, warplanes, more anti-tank and anti-aircraft
00:01:05.920 missiles, Javelin and Stinger missiles. Zelensky had been asking for a no-fly zone over Ukraine,
00:01:12.500 but the White House says absolutely not. Too great a chance of U.S.-Russian engagement
00:01:19.040 risking a broader war in Europe. And NATO said no as well, saying that it would likely provoke
00:01:26.600 wider war in Europe. Putin said he will consider any country that declares a no-fly zone over Ukraine
00:01:34.060 as participants in the conflict. Some of those senators and congressmen, Republican and Democrat,
00:01:40.880 who were briefed by Zelensky from the Ukraine are now calling for President Biden to ban imports to
00:01:48.400 the United States of all oil and oil products from Russia. Too many of those folks, in my opinion,
00:01:55.900 first of all, don't understand the impact of such sanctions on the American consumer.
00:02:01.400 And secondly, the advocates for the Russian oil ban simply don't understand that these sanctions
00:02:07.480 and bans against countries, including Russia, simply do not work. And yet our politicians want to
00:02:15.280 virtue signal and at least act as if they're virtue signal and at least act as if they're doing something
00:02:20.060 significant. It isn't significant. And secondly, the advocates for the Russian oil ban simply don't
00:02:27.780 understand the sanctions and bans against countries, including Russia, do not work. And yet our politicians
00:02:35.800 want to virtue signal and at least act as if they're doing something significant. They aren't. And it isn't.
00:02:43.720 And such bans and boycotts hurt the people of a country. Never the government officials, such sanctions are
00:02:50.780 intended to punish. And if Biden were to ban Russian oil, the pain for the American consumer would be almost
00:02:57.840 immediate. Gasoline prices would rise dramatically to five to six dollars a gallon. And those higher prices would
00:03:06.820 rapidly spread through the economy. More virtue signaling. It's a popular pastime for politicians
00:03:14.320 these days, but it wouldn't be popular for long, with prices skyrocketing throughout the economy.
00:03:20.920 Meanwhile, Secretary of State Blinken, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Milley,
00:03:26.360 separately making their way to Ukraine. In separate trips showing support for Ukraine,
00:03:32.340 Blinken actually stepped over the border into Ukraine for a while. The battle for Ukraine goes
00:03:39.320 on, of course. More death, casualties, and devastation. Almost one and a half million refugees
00:03:45.400 have now fled Ukraine, while the Russians have encircled a number of major cities now.
00:03:51.600 But only one still, Kershon, has fallen to the Russians. More expected to fall in the next few days,
00:03:59.120 however. And in the midst of this war, our domestic politics remain front and center in this midterm
00:04:05.860 election year. And yes, many of the decisions and statements made by our politicians of both parties
00:04:12.960 will be more politically motivated than strategically sound, or even in the remotest way, in our national
00:04:20.480 interest. And we must remember that. Such is life in our sprawling, robust, heavily armed, dynamic, and
00:04:28.160 sometimes very complex country, as we seek to do what's right, what's best, with varying degrees of
00:04:35.580 success. Our national capital is very much focused on Ukraine and Russia. But the controversial and
00:04:42.560 highly partisan January 6th committee and the attendant media attention take up a sizable portion of the
00:04:50.400 radical Dim's energies these days, and certainly the ongoing revelations of the investigation into the
00:04:57.580 biggest scandal in American history does. It's still the most important political story of our era, and I
00:05:04.740 believe our history as a nation. Let's turn now from Russia to the scandal known to most people as
00:05:12.600 Russiagate. And it's important that we not neglect the reporting of this scandal, a conspiracy carried out by the
00:05:20.100 efforts of the Dems, and apparently many in the deep state as well, as they tried to block President Trump
00:05:27.060 from being elected in 2016, and then to overthrow his presidency almost as soon as he was sworn in.
00:05:34.980 Special Counsel John Durham is leading that investigation into the origins of the scandal.
00:05:40.820 In court filings, Durham charges that the Democrats and Clinton campaign worked together to block Trump's
00:05:48.260 election and his presidency. With us now, a great American, a co-founder of the Freedom Caucus,
00:05:55.860 a great supporter, friend, and defender of President Trump, Congressman Jim Jordan.
00:06:01.780 Congressman, great to have you back on the Great America Show with us. Your reaction to the Special
00:06:07.540 Council, John Durham's statements of fact, as well as the filing itself, resurrecting what many people
00:06:16.420 thought was, frankly, a dead effort, that is to investigate the origins of Russiagate.
00:06:23.620 Yeah. Well, I mean, a couple of takeaways. One, you know, it turns out we were right all along. We
00:06:27.540 said it all along. We knew that we're spying. Now this more than confirms what we already knew. I think
00:06:31.780 we'd established that a long time ago. But one of the big takeaways I had, Lou, was the language that
00:06:37.780 Durham used, talking about creating an inference and a narrative. And it was like they were looking
00:06:43.140 for stuff to create this Russia collusion narrative. That's what you call framing somebody. They were
00:06:48.900 out to frame the President of the United States while he was a candidate, while he was President-elect.
00:06:54.180 And it now looks like while he was actually the President after January 20th, 2017, actually while
00:07:01.060 he was President of the United States. So I find that particularly alarming. And then maybe the
00:07:06.260 other important takeaway, I think, is he talks about how this tech executive won and Mr. Zussman,
00:07:12.500 who had already been indicted, how they were talking with Mr. Zussman's partner, Mark Elias. And of
00:07:18.420 course, you know, and your audience knows, Mark Elias is this Democrat election lawyer who is
00:07:24.980 filing all these actions against Republicans, redistricting efforts of Republicans, going after
00:07:30.100 our colleague in North Carolina, trying to keep him off the ballot. And it goes right to Mark Elias,
00:07:35.380 the Democrat key lawyer, and of course, Hillary Clinton's campaign general counsel.
00:07:41.380 Now, as we go through this, and as he brings his filing and his statement of facts,
00:07:47.460 the reaction from Michael Zussman's attorneys is to say, this is prosecutorial overreach and
00:07:54.340 making a motion to dismiss the case on that basis.
00:08:00.020 Yeah. Well, I mean, let's just back up then. Think about this. So this tech executive one,
00:08:05.700 it's now been reported, his name is Jaffe. So this Mr. Jaffe, I saw one of the mainstream
00:08:11.380 news outlets talk about how no, nothing was wrong here. They said, Mr. Jaffe was on contract,
00:08:17.460 he was able to see this information. And if he saw concerns, he was supposed to raise,
00:08:22.340 you know, his concerns. Well, okay, let's just assume all that's true for a second.
00:08:26.740 If there were concerns that Mr. Jaffe saw in his work and looking at, you know, what messages may
00:08:33.380 have been gone from the White House or from the Trump transition or the Trump Tower or whatever,
00:08:37.700 to, in this case, Russia, whatever they were looking for. And he raises those concerns.
00:08:43.140 Why didn't he take those concerns to the FBI? I mean, if it's all legit, go to the FBI with it.
00:08:48.180 He didn't do that. He went to Zussman, he went to the Clinton campaign, and they took it to the
00:08:54.020 FBI. Now, why was it that arrangement? That makes absolutely no sense. So, and I'll remember this,
00:09:00.500 Lou, he didn't just take it to anyone at the FBI. When he gave, when Jaffe gave the information to
00:09:04.820 Zussman, Zussman takes it to the FBI. And who does he take it to? He takes it to Jim Baker,
00:09:10.020 the chief counsel at the FBI. So, that to me is also a huge concern when we see this information
00:09:17.220 that Mr. Durham has brought forward. And it's interesting that Jaffe and Zussman end up having
00:09:25.540 representation by the same lawyers. It's interesting, those connections, all of them that you just made.
00:09:33.220 There's one connection, Hillary Clinton. She won't say a word. None of the
00:09:39.220 Democrats on the Intelligence Committee, including, of course, Congressman Schiff, who said he had seen
00:09:45.700 the proof, the evidence himself, and said it over and over for two years. Why aren't they speaking,
00:09:51.940 do you suppose? Well, that's interesting, you know, because you're right. Mr. Schiff said that there
00:09:57.620 was more than circumstantial evidence that President Trump colluded with Russia, and that turned out to
00:10:01.780 be completely false, which we all knew it was. But now there's certainly more than circumstantial evidence
00:10:07.380 that the Clinton campaign was working on this deal to go after President Trump and to create
00:10:12.980 this narrative, to frame, and I keep coming back to that, because to frame the President of the United
00:10:19.060 States, that is frightening. And like we've said many times, if they can do it to major parties' political
00:10:27.140 candidate for President, if they can do it to a President-elect, and if they can do it to what now
00:10:31.780 looks like the actual President of the United States, imagine what they can do to your listeners,
00:10:36.500 your viewers, and the folks I get the privilege of representing in the 4th District of Ohio.
00:10:41.860 You know, that is a horrifying thought. I mean, it really is, that if this can be done to a candidate
00:10:47.460 for President, a sitting President, and by the way, without remorse or any kind of regret expressed,
00:10:56.660 this is stunning stuff. And it's really interesting to see the reaction of the media.
00:11:06.180 It's sickening to watch what the Democratic Party became and what they are now.
00:11:12.500 Yeah. No, the left always accuses us, we've said this many times, you've said it many times,
00:11:16.180 the left always accuses us of what they're doing. And then when we bring out the truth,
00:11:19.700 they will attack us, say it's not true, or they'll just make up some new lie and attack us on that.
00:11:24.900 I mean, it's just, unfortunately, the M.O. And when you have a willing press, mainstream press,
00:11:33.140 who's willing to go along with the Democrats and spout their narrative, it's a tough position.
00:11:38.740 But the good news is the truth gets through in the end. We're seeing that with this story. We're
00:11:43.460 seeing it with all the mandates that government's putting on us. We're seeing it with moms in Virginia
00:11:48.580 who turn into more moms and then some dads. The next thing you know, Glenn Youngkin is governor.
00:11:52.660 So time and time again, we the people get to the truth and we can push back and stop the left who
00:11:59.300 always wants to promote the lie. And promote lies they did. And Mark Elias, the attorney with Sussman,
00:12:08.100 one of the top, if not the top attorney for the Democratic Party, certainly on elections he was.
00:12:14.020 This is vile. This is worthy of a full and concurrent investigation. But it also makes it very clear that
00:12:24.820 the FBI is rancidly corrupt and has done nothing to clean up its own organization. And I want to get
00:12:33.460 your thinking. I know that the audience wants to hear what Jim Jordan says about that.
00:12:37.620 Yeah, no, it's it is scary. And I think the irony here is it's you know, they always say,
00:12:44.900 oh, it's Donald Trump and Republicans who are a threat to democracy. And I'm like, what? The
00:12:51.140 Democrats just this year in Congress, the Democrats have closed the Capitol. They've allowed proxy
00:12:56.820 voting. They've kicked Republicans off committee. They won't let Republicans serve on the select
00:13:00.820 committee for the first time in American history. They're trying to end the electoral college,
00:13:04.180 trying to end the filibuster, trying to pack the court, allowing non-citizens to vote.
00:13:07.940 The January 6th committee has altered evidence, lied to the American people about it. And now we
00:13:12.020 find out that the Clinton campaign was working to frame President Trump and taking that information
00:13:18.020 and giving it to the FBI on top of the dossier and everything else. And somehow they say, oh, oh,
00:13:22.900 but it's it's it's Republicans who are a threat to democracy. I'm like, you've got to be kidding me.
00:13:28.340 So, again, I think the American people see through it all. They understand how ridiculous the Democrats
00:13:34.260 are and how bad the Biden administration has been. And I'm hopeful that there's going to be a big
00:13:38.980 change come come this November's election. That big change come November. Historically,
00:13:46.100 as you know, the party out of power in the White House typically wins on average since World War Two,
00:13:52.900 26 seats, four seats in the Senate. It looks like and talking with a number of the pollsters that we
00:13:59.540 have on this show that we may say the Republicans do even better than that. But will we also see the
00:14:07.300 Republicans change themselves? It is a party with a contest, a conflict between RINOs and conservatives,
00:14:16.900 good, strong Republicans. Will there be a change of leadership in the Senate and the House of Representatives?
00:14:22.740 Well, I do think you're going to see Republicans act like Republicans if, in fact, the American
00:14:27.780 people give us give us the majority. And I will tell you, I think on the House side that Leader
00:14:32.820 McCarthy has done a very good job of keeping our team united and fighting against the radical left.
00:14:37.940 You saw it in impeachment a few years ago when the conventional wisdom was, Lou, that that Republicans
00:14:44.020 were going to every Democrat was going to vote for impeaching President Trump and Republicans would join
00:14:49.860 him. And what happened was just the opposite. Every Republican voted not to impeach President Trump
00:14:54.660 when they when they did this crazy Ukrainian phone call impeachment that they did. And Democrats joined
00:14:59.380 us. One even switched parties, Jeff Andrew, and he has been a great Republican member of the United
00:15:04.900 States House of Representatives. So I think we have come together as a party like we're supposed to.
00:15:09.220 We just got to focus on not getting overconfident, being confident, but not overconfident over the next
00:15:13.940 several months. And we got to raise the money and win these elections so that we can stop the left's
00:15:18.580 attack on on everything that, you know, all the crazy things they're doing.
00:15:23.220 And that assault includes the way in which the White House is conducting itself.
00:15:28.260 It's a without any question. It's a Marxist agenda that a placeholder president,
00:15:35.140 that's at least the way he ran as a placeholder. Now it turns out to be Che Guevara in the White House,
00:15:41.700 mustering up energy for Marxist ideas and concepts and acts, but nothing else.
00:15:49.140 We're looking at him as the commander in chief, as Vladimir Putin is challenging the United States,
00:15:54.580 the European Union and NATO directly. This is a scary time. Your thoughts?
00:15:59.540 Sure is. No, it sure is. And, you know, I think we talked about this before, but it just goes to
00:16:07.460 show when you project weakness from the Oval Office, bad guys are going to do bad things around the
00:16:13.140 world. And we're seeing that play out in front of us as we speak. This would not have happened
00:16:18.980 when President Trump and Mike Pompeo were in charge of our foreign policy. It just wouldn't.
00:16:23.620 I mean, when you project strength, these things, they didn't happen. We know they didn't happen
00:16:29.300 because we lived with the four years of President Trump as president. All the good things that happened
00:16:33.380 with the Abraham Accords and all the things that happened in foreign policy because he was a strong
00:16:37.940 leader. Joe Biden isn't, unfortunately. And when you send the wrong message from the get-go with
00:16:42.820 the Nord Stream pipeline and with what you do with energy policy, so much of this is driven by energy
00:16:47.860 policy. Unfortunately, when you start in the wrong position and you project the wrong things and you do
00:16:52.500 the wrong things initially, then you get bad outcomes. This administration has been wrong on every
00:16:56.740 single policy and they've projected all kinds of weakness from the Oval Office. And that's why we're
00:17:03.060 in the situation where, I mean, and think about our border. Lou, there is no other way to interpret
00:17:07.940 this other than it is deliberate, it is intentional. Two million illegal crossings in one year. So this is
00:17:14.980 how unfortunate this whole thing is. And like I said, let's hope there's going to be a change coming,
00:17:20.020 at least in the Congress, come midterm elections. And with that change, what is your judgment as to
00:17:27.300 the ratio of rhinos to Trump first, America first, Trumpians? I think the Congress, the Republicans
00:17:38.020 in Congress understand Donald Trump's the leader of our party. It's an America first party. It is a
00:17:42.500 conservative party, a populist party rooted in conservative principles, just like it should have
00:17:48.740 always been. So I think there's going to be strong support for President Trump, because I do think
00:17:53.300 he's going to run. And I think you're going to see people realize just how radical the left is. And we
00:17:58.420 need to stay united to stop where they want to take the country. With those words, thank you so much,
00:18:03.700 Congressman. We appreciate it. Congressman Jim Jordan, a great American, and he has been defending
00:18:10.740 the president throughout for now, since 2016. It's been a while. And Congressman, we appreciate
00:18:18.100 everything you do for the nation. Thanks so much. Thank you. Take care, brother. Thank you. You
00:18:22.580 too. Congressman Jim Jordan, he is a stalwart and a great leader in the country. It's fortunate to have
00:18:31.380 him in the U.S. Congress. We want to invite you to sign up for our Great America Show Advisory and

00:19:05.780 The Great America Show continues, and we are delighted you're spending part of your day
00:19:10.100 with us, just as we're thrilled to have with us today our next guest, who is none other than
00:19:14.900 Vernon Jones from the great state of Georgia, a great American, a former conservative Democrat
00:19:21.060 who left that party to endorse Donald J. Trump. Vernon Jones is now one of the most prominent
00:19:27.060 Republicans in Georgia and indeed the nation. Jones has decided to run for the U.S. House of
00:19:34.020 representatives in the 10th Congressional District of Georgia. He's a pro-Trump candidate, as you might
00:19:40.500 suspect, putting Georgia first. Vernon is also one of five black conservative Republicans featured
00:19:48.020 on the latest, the newest cover of Newsweek magazine, along with Vernon John James, another Georgian
00:19:55.620 Herschel Walker running for the Senate, and Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears,
00:20:00.900 Candace Owens, and radio host Larry Elder. Vernon, it is great to have you back with us here on the
00:20:06.500 Great America Show. Welcome, my friend. Thank you, Lou. It's good to be on the show with a great
00:20:12.420 American, of course. You are a great American. You know it, Lou. You're the man. Well, thank you so
00:20:18.260 much, Vernon. I appreciate it. I have been looking forward to our talk, and the state of Georgia has
00:20:25.780 sort of moved to the epicenter of everything that has followed the great election of 2020.
00:20:33.380 The state of Georgia, and by that I mean the condition as well as the state of Georgia.
00:20:38.660 I'm eager to hear your judgment on and to get a sense of where you all stand. Yeah. Well, Lou, I say this
00:20:47.860 back before the 2020 elections, so goes Georgia, so goes this country, and that's exactly what happened.
00:20:53.940 When we lost those two U.S. Senate seats, when we lost the president's election, we lost this country,
00:20:58.980 and you see right now there is Joe Biden who is everything he touches turns to malarkey, if I can
00:21:05.460 use that term. But Georgia is going to be critical again in 2022, not only as we look to take back over
00:21:11.460 the Congress, but also to hold the line with the governor's office here. You know, we have Stacey
00:21:18.260 Abrams challenging whoever the gubernatorial nominee will be, and I can tell you the left is going to
00:21:24.900 try to come with everything they have, but we do not want socialism and Marxism and communism to come
00:21:30.180 to Georgia, and that's what she brings with us, so we're going to stand up and fight. I can tell you
00:21:36.260 there's a lot of resources, a lot of eyes are going to be on Georgia. Yeah, I can only imagine, because
00:21:43.700 number 45, President Donald J. Trump is certainly exercised about what happened in Georgia.
00:21:52.340 You know, people forget, Vernon, and I know you don't, but a lot of people forget this man,
00:21:58.260 the President of the United States in May of 2020 was telling the nation, the election is rigged,
00:22:04.660 you have got to fix it, and the Republican Party apparently wasn't listening or had divided interests,
00:22:12.020 and we're perfectly happy to see the election be rigged, and I'm talking about establishment
00:22:17.380 rhino Republicans. What do you think? Well, the President had a foresight to see
00:22:22.420 that ballot harvesting was coming down the road and impact it could have. He also saw where Stacey Abrams
00:22:29.300 was able to cut a backroom deal with Governor Kemp, he caved into them, the Secretary of State caved
00:22:34.660 into them as well, and they manipulated our elections with a backroom settlement agreement,
00:22:38.900 they changed our election laws, and not to mention where now they brought in all the drop-off boxes.
00:22:44.900 The President was right about ballot harvesting. You're seeing videos now of multiple people going
00:22:49.220 to multiple locations dropping off multiple ballots, but also, Luke, just through my own
00:22:54.900 investigation to others that are aware of it, we found where both state and federal law was broken.
00:22:59.460 State law was broken because drop-off boxes are only supposed to be placed on county or municipal
00:23:05.700 property. We have evidence and voters where it was on private property, where they actually voted on
00:23:10.500 private property, where the drop-off box was located, which was a violation of state law.
00:23:16.340 Also, our Secretary of State directed all county registrars to get rid of or they could trash
00:23:23.380 the videos from the drop-off boxes. Well, you and I both know the federal law says that all records
00:23:28.180 related to elections must be kept at least 22 months. So there's state law that's broken,
00:23:33.460 federal law that's been broken. So the President is right. He knew what he was talking about,
00:23:37.780 just like he's right now, even with the mandates. He's looking now on the left. They want to get
00:23:41.940 rid of the mask now. They're saying, well, the science has changed. No, the science didn't
00:23:46.020 change. The political science changed. That's what happened. And so, again, the President was right.
00:23:51.860 Yeah, you're exactly right. That's a great way to put it. The political science changing,
00:23:56.580 and that's what's driving everything that this administration, the Biden administration,
00:24:00.660 is doing, the radical dem. The Democrats in this country have become a force of evil. It is
00:24:09.700 extraordinary to me, over the years that I've covered politics, to see a party that's migrated
00:24:17.060 from what became the politics of political destruction, that in the 1990s, to this now,
00:24:24.820 a party that is a force, really, of evil. What it did in persecuting President Donald Trump,
00:24:32.660 that's now coming out with John Durham, the special counsel's reports and filings,
00:24:38.900 and likely direction that will involve the campaign of Hillary Clinton, the falsification of documents,
00:24:47.300 and the dossier at which they had a direct hand, the Democratic law firm and lawyers who actually
00:24:57.380 were attacking a presidential candidate with a fraudulent allegation and charge and set of charges
00:25:05.220 that ultimately became a phony, fraudulent foundation for a special counsel investigation,
00:25:11.700 because once they couldn't stop him as a candidate, they tried to overthrow him as a president.
00:25:16.980 That's now vividly in front of the American people, and the national corporate left-wing media
00:25:23.540 is ignoring the story as we speak. Well, what's worse than that, Hillary Clinton, who had insight
00:25:30.340 with the White House, with the administration, and with the Justice Department, used her contacts,
00:25:36.100 her relationships, including the outside organization, and they literally not only spied on a candidate,
00:25:42.180 they spied on the president-elect, then they spied on the president of the United States.
00:25:46.500 All the way down to getting access to service within one of his offices, both at his home office
00:25:53.060 and an office in Washington. And so that's criminal behavior. There should be an outrage with that.
00:25:59.540 That's worse than Watergate. At least Watergate, they didn't actually spy on the president.
00:26:06.740 This was the breaking of the DNC's headquarters. And so think about this. Who was a part of the
00:26:11.460 Watergate hearings? Who was involved? There was a staff lawyer by the name of Hillary Clinton. She knew
00:26:16.100 better. Why was she involved and engaged in this? Matter of fact, that's probably where she got
00:26:20.020 experience on how to do it. And, you know, when they talk about lock her up, you can't tell me there's
00:26:25.300 no reason not to lock her up now, because she paid these outside groups to go and do this. And think about this,
00:26:31.060 Lou. You're right. The liberal left media for four years dogged this president. What about
00:26:35.940 Alan Bobberhead Schiff? He was the main one. So, oh, we have the evidence. We have the evidence,
00:26:41.380 this and that. They got away with so much. And that president, President Trump, he said then that
00:26:48.580 he was being spied on. And again, President Trump was right. They laughed at him. They say he was crazy.
00:26:54.100 But you and I both knew there was a dead cat on the end of that line. And you know what? We begin
00:26:58.980 to see that cat. And that cat's going to have a lot of kittens, too. It's going to go all the way up
00:27:02.420 to Jim Coleman and Clapper and Brennan and others. Yeah. If indeed it didn't start with them and the
00:27:08.900 previous president. In fact, there's evidence that this began in 2014. And that would bring in the
00:27:17.620 administration of President Obama also, which has a strong connection and alliance to the current
00:27:26.580 administration, his vice president, who's now president, Joe Biden. There is you can just
00:27:33.060 imagine Merrick Garland, the attorney general of the United States right now, as he's watching this
00:27:37.460 unfurl. He can't do anything about this special counsel. And I have to say I was wrong about William
00:27:43.620 Barr. I had completely dismissed him as an utter and complete disappointment, disloyal. I mean, I
00:27:52.340 called him other names privately, I will tell you. And the man had the integrity to create a special
00:27:58.900 counsel in 2020, in October of 2020, John Durham's to get to the bottom of what happened and the origins
00:28:07.380 of Russiagate and the Russian hoax. And for that, we owe him a debt of gratitude. Also,
00:28:13.620 certainly John Durham, who is actually bringing evidence to the fore and making proper
00:28:21.220 allegations that will lead to, I believe, prosecution on a very wide scale of the of the
00:28:27.700 actors in this. What is the president is now the worst scandal since Watergate. I call it simply the
00:28:34.500 worst political scandal in this country's history. Well, let's be clear about one thing. President
00:28:39.220 Trump was adamant about he had been spied on. He was very adamant about it. What if he just laid
00:28:44.660 down and had been quiet like others? Oh, don't say anything about it. This is not happening. You're
00:28:48.500 just paranoid. What if he had done that? Barr had to feel the pressure from the president can't say
00:28:53.060 that he didn't. Hey, this needs to be looked into. So I'm glad that Barr did do it. And I got to tell you
00:28:58.900 to select Durham. I think nobody can quiver or complain about his background, his experience.
00:29:05.700 He's handled this far better than the special prosecutor, the previous FBI director who was
00:29:13.300 over this. Robert Mueller. Right. Right. Mueller. And he's been quiet. He hasn't done this with the
00:29:19.540 media. When you find out what he's doing, you find out when those papers are filed in federal court.
00:29:24.420 And for him to file those papers, he is he is he is on to something. I think you and I both and
00:29:30.340 everybody else know. But I'm just shocked. I got to say, I am shocked by the fact that the liberal media
00:29:37.220 is not over all over this. Isn't this a scandal? I mean, isn't this really a scandal? You have a
00:29:43.220 special prosecutor who has already indicted several folks who just recently filed some more documents
00:29:50.020 this past weekend that's going to the heart of the Justice Department, Hillary Clinton's campaign,
00:29:56.660 and the fake dossier and all those players. I mean, there are people who undoubtedly are coming
00:30:03.860 forth and telling and sharing a lot of information because they don't want to be on the other side of
00:30:08.260 that, those bars. And so, Lou, I'm glad that this is happening just for the good of the country,
00:30:13.220 though, for the good of the country, so we can get to the truth. That's why when I become Congress,
00:30:17.460 if they are not holding these hearings, I certainly hope I can be on the House Intel
00:30:20.900 Committee where I can urge and push so we can have the proper hearings and see what's going on
00:30:27.940 for that case. And some of the office, even with the the January 6th, which has been a you and I know
00:30:33.140 just been a joke. Let's have some real hearings, get to the real coverage, even on that. Yeah. And,
00:30:39.300 you know, we're not hearing much from the January 6th folks, are we, since Friday?
00:30:42.820 That's tag crickets.
00:30:44.580 These developments on, well, coming from John Durham, the special counsel,
00:30:52.020 this is causing, I'm sure, some great consternation amongst those folks in Congress.
00:30:57.460 The left, the Democratic partisan committee called the January 6th committee,
00:31:02.900 they suddenly have a real problem on their hands because everyone knows right now
00:31:07.300 who the offending party is, who is the party that is the force of evil that is
00:31:12.980 dividing this nation. And they're going to have one hell of a time explaining themselves,
00:31:18.660 in my judgment. And I, and I look forward to that. And I also look forward to the president
00:31:23.700 being utterly vindicated and exonerated and the American people having to confront all of us
00:31:29.780 that we permitted a sitting president of the United States to be spied upon to be impeached twice without
00:31:38.020 foundation or fact to support those impeachments and those efforts that he was investigated for
00:31:43.940 almost three years by the FBI, an organization that is corrupt throughout a disgusting and horrible
00:31:52.260 miscarriage of justice, if it's justice at all, and a justice department that has been a politicized
00:32:00.980 and rancid department for far too long. It has to be, it has to be cleaned up, cleaned out and fixed.
00:32:09.460 Well, Lou, you use the word consternation. I can think of another adjective, constipation,
00:32:14.580 that a lot of folks are going to do right now. But why aren't we hearing tweets from Comey
00:32:19.860 or Clapper or Brennan, or even Obama, especially Comey? What about Comey's professor that Comey fed
00:32:28.740 the information to? Where is he? Why isn't he saying anything? See, what they did, they did something
00:32:34.980 in darkness and nurtured it in ignorance. And they tried to play it to the American people,
00:32:39.940 like our president had done something wrong. And I tell you, to use the United States,
00:32:46.580 the top law enforcement agency, I consider the FBI, the top law enforcement agency in this country,
00:32:52.980 for them to be engaged and involved, not at the rank and file, but at the top, at the top levels,
00:33:00.580 that there's just no way in the world McCabe and all those should be running around scot-free. I just hope
00:33:06.820 that, and I don't think Garland, I think he knows he better stay off of this and not try to call this off,
00:33:14.340 because it's too sticky and it's coming, it's going to touch a lot of people. And so I just want to
00:33:18.980 get, like you and everybody else, we just want to get to the truth, because we need to drain the swamp,
00:33:24.820 even within our government offices from the Justice Department, right on down. But Lou, imagine this,
00:33:31.860 if the federal government can spy, illegally spy, on the President of the United States, how many people,
00:33:40.180 like you and me and others, that they've been spying on illegally? I mean, just think about how many
00:33:46.260 people have been framed by our government? Yeah, well, I know, my wife and I have always assumed
00:33:53.460 we're being, we're being wiretapped as the President originally, you remember how the left
00:33:58.820 wing media snarked at him and ridiculed him because he used the expression wiretap? Well, we sure as hell
00:34:04.660 we're wiretapped. And I can't, and by the way, we were wiretapped as a result of the, the embassy
00:34:11.540 and the ambassador in Ukraine, wanting it, we were on a list of folks that they asked be monitored.
00:34:17.860 Yeah, this, you know, this goes on. We always expected the Obama administration was spying
00:34:24.820 on correspondents and editors throughout their administration. It's an outrage. What is the
00:34:32.660 party of truth? Right now, I will tell you, it's the Republican Party. Is it a perfect party? No,
00:34:38.020 it has had its broken bread with the US Chamber of Commerce and Wall Street for too long for it to be
00:34:43.380 pure. But the Democratic Party is a party of evil. They're afraid of truth. They want to suppress
00:34:50.260 truth. They have met, that's a party right now of Marx. There is so little difference between this
00:34:56.820 authoritarian regime that calls itself an administration in Washington, that it's downright
00:35:02.980 frightening. The Biden administration, Stacey Abrams sitting up before a class of youngsters,
00:35:09.780 they look like they're four or five years old, all of them in masks, and she's sitting there
00:35:14.100 beaming without a mask on. Why? And she said she was just having a picture taken. Stacey Abrams,
00:35:21.940 if she has any heart, would say to those children, take off those masks. We're all going to put those
00:35:28.260 masks aside and follow the science. We know who the vulnerable population is, and it sure as heck not
00:35:34.580 born five-year-olds. This is madness what the Biden administration has created. Now they're trying to
00:35:40.660 blame Trump for crying out loud. I mean, what kind of upside down country has this become because of the
00:35:47.860 perfidy of the Democratic Party, the left, and the neo-Marxists? Well, going back to Stacey Abrams,
00:35:56.980 look at her narrative that she shaped and framed to try to get the heat off of her. Oh, I can't believe
00:36:03.940 they were attacking me. Here I am talking to some children doing Black History Month. See,
00:36:08.340 she played that card doing Black History Month. What the hell did that have to do with Black History
00:36:13.060 Month? Her and her crowd were talking about, we have to wear these masks. They were so pro-mask,
00:36:17.780 so pro-mask, but why did she remove her mask if she's pro-mask? Because you and I both know,
00:36:23.620 just like AOC did, she complained about Florida and the governor down there doing a hell of a job
00:36:29.460 of protecting our freedoms. And she's in New York pushing this pro-mask, pro-vaccination,
00:36:35.700 but what does she do? She goes down to Florida and she hang out with a group of people, partying,
00:36:41.060 no mask. I mean, in close comfort. I mean, hugging, kissing. And I don't mean, I mean,
00:36:48.260 just, you know, in terms of socializing. And where was her mask? Where was her mask? It's the
00:36:55.220 hypocrisy. And now the administration and CDC is saying, well, the science has changed now,
00:37:01.220 so we're going to start to relieve the mask mandates, but we want to keep it on children.
00:37:05.620 But wait a minute. Children are the least with the risk, all right? And what science,
00:37:12.500 I'm still trying to find out, Lou, what science changed? No science changed. It's the political
00:37:18.500 winds that changed. They have done polling and they see that the American people are tired of these
00:37:23.940 mandates. And you have children who are trapped in masks all day long.
00:37:29.460 And we know that it's, that the difficult, you know, that really is a,
00:37:34.260 an important issue of, of health for those and development for those young children to have that
00:37:40.020 mask trapping, uh, those, you know, carbon dioxide, uh, not giving them full expression so that they're
00:37:48.020 socializing and their mental health, as well as their physical development is impaired, uh, hopefully
00:37:55.060 only temporarily, but nonetheless impaired. Uh, we just don't have, uh, we just don't have leadership
00:38:02.500 and judgment right now. And by the way, it makes it so clear how important it was in 2020 that we have
00:38:09.460 all listened to president Trump in may of 2020. And the Republican party, the RNC,
00:38:16.660 and every governor in the country should have been moving to get and secretary of state to make sure
00:38:22.420 that they were listening to Donald J Trump, because once again, from the time he walked into office
00:38:28.100 to this very day, the man was right. And it's that straightforward. And you know what weeks old
00:38:34.980 don't want to fall of strength because it reminds them too often, I guess how weak they are and how
00:38:40.900 weak this Republican party was throughout to permitted the persecution of Donald Trump and his family.
00:38:46.580 It's awful. I want to turn to that because you and the president are friends. You're working
00:38:52.820 together to try to straighten out this great state of Georgia. Uh, give us a sense of your, uh, your
00:38:59.700 motivation and your, uh, your thinking as you go after that, uh, congressional district,
00:39:06.500 the 10th congressional district there in Georgia.
00:39:08.580 Let me be clear about one thing too, Lou. Um, I was very forceful in our message early on. I was
00:39:15.140 in touch with Georgians. They were anti mandates. They wanted to ban CRT. They wanted some of their
00:39:21.620 money back in terms of eliminating, uh, state income taxes. They want to make sure that they
00:39:26.740 protected female sports and everything I was pushing for when our governor was hiding, including
00:39:31.860 constitution to carry. Uh, they were nowhere to be found, but all of a sudden he's got religion and
00:39:37.700 all those planks that I had on my platform now, and that's what he's espousing. And the general
00:39:42.260 assembly is literally falling over itself to pass my conservative initiatives. Uh, the president,
00:39:47.300 I had a conversation. He said, Vern, you made a difference in Georgia already. Um, I want,
00:39:52.900 you can play a major role on what we do in this Republican revolution to take back the Congress in 2022.
00:39:58.420 And obviously the White House in 2024, uh, we need a Patriot American first person like you running
00:40:04.660 and that I can support for Congress. And so, uh, we had discussions about that. I made a decision.
00:40:10.260 Um, and, and Lou, I am running now for the 10th congressional district. The president's building
00:40:15.380 a team here in Georgia. Senator David Perdue is taking on Brian Kemp head on. Um, and, and president
00:40:22.020 has, has given him Senator Perdue his full support and endorsement. So right now, uh, I am pursuing the
00:40:27.940 10th congressional district and let me be clear my first day in office. I want to drop legislation
00:40:33.460 of articles of impeachment of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, because they had failed, uh,
00:40:38.180 enforcing the border, not to mention any of many other areas that they failed. So we want to start
00:40:42.980 with that, but also Lou, I don't want to go to Washington and spend my time, uh, dining, whining until
00:40:49.700 I die. I believe in term limits. I'll be coming forth from initiative, pushing for term limits, limits, um, get up there and do what you have to do and get back to the
00:40:55.940 um, get up there and do what you have to do and get back home. And so we're very serious about pushing
00:41:00.580 and fighting against the left, taking over the squad. Um, and they're trying to federalize elections.
00:41:05.700 What they're trying to do, including Warnock, they're trying to do the same thing that they're
00:41:09.140 accusing states of. They want to take over local elections. No, that's not going to happen. We're
00:41:13.860 going to get there. We're going to take on a, bring the fight to them, Lou. Uh, the Republicans have
00:41:18.420 to respond and save this country. And to be a part of that, that American first agenda and having the
00:41:23.460 president's full endorsement, uh, Lou, we are on the move to head to Washington.
00:41:29.220 Well, that's, that's great news to my ears. I'm sure it's going to be great news for the ears of
00:41:34.180 all of your constituents, uh, and all of the voters in the 10th district. I, I, I have to say
00:41:40.660 that I hope that the Republican party, I will tell you straight up, I'm not a fan of the Republican
00:41:46.900 national committee. I think that they failed in their responsibilities in 2020 and are a large
00:41:52.980 part of the reason that the left was able to get away with all they got away with in that election.
00:41:58.740 Uh, and, uh, I think, uh, I don't know, but I think there's evidence, uh, that we'll see one day
00:42:05.300 that the outcome would have been quite different, but that's just one man's speculation. I do hope that
00:42:12.100 the Republican party in the state of Georgia, and I think it's wonderful that you're running for the
00:42:17.060 congressional, uh, seat there in the 10th district. Uh, I endorse you, I will support you.
00:42:23.140 And I tell you this, I hope that you and every other Republican candidate in the state of Georgia
00:42:29.460 will be engaged in building up the party from the, from the local precinct up, uh, and have engaged,
00:42:37.620 uh, participating, uh, responsible people at the polls, uh,
00:42:41.780 uh, and they're counting votes as well as voting, uh, and making certain that the laws are followed
00:42:48.740 and that the country's interest and let the chips fall where they may, but make sure that they're
00:42:53.380 clean straight up elections, uh, period. We just can't afford any more of this. The people cannot
00:42:59.940 lose faith in an electoral system, uh, because well, in 2020 things were, uh, to put it the very least,
00:43:06.980 irregular anomalous, if not absolutely, as the president said, rigged. Well, what you just said,
00:43:14.420 uh, we are building an army and those who want to be a part of this moving to 10th congressional
00:43:17.860 district, they can go to jonesforgeorgia.com, jonesforgeorgia.com, sign up, donate, volunteer,
00:43:23.460 be a part of it. Lou, you know, the flashlight or let's say, uh, the light period has been turned on
00:43:28.500 those cockroaches who did what they did to create all their voting irregularity in 2020. The light is on
00:43:34.420 them now. They're running for the cracks. We are fighting hard. You know, when I came to the
00:43:38.980 grand old party, uh, I didn't want to just be a member of the grand old party. I wanted to come
00:43:42.900 and bring grand new ideas, grand new opportunities, and grand new people grow this party, not only with
00:43:48.500 young people, but minorities, uh, reestablish ourselves as a party of conservatives, not rhinos,
00:43:54.580 um, make sure that people know that we believe in the constitution. We will fight for the constitution.
00:44:00.180 And, and those who want to talk like Rhonda Sanchez and walk like Mitt Romney, uh, your days are
00:44:05.380 limited. That is not the party of, of, of where we are now, Republican party and where are we going?
00:44:10.660 So that's what I like about president Trump. He's looking for fighters. He's building a strong army
