00:00:00.000 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Great America Podcast with Lou Dobbs,
00:00:04.200 always in the fight for truth, justice, and yes, our American way of life.
00:00:09.220 And now, here he is, the Peabody award-winning voice of truth, the great Lou Dobbs.
00:00:14.600 Hello, everybody, and welcome to this edition of the Great America Show.
00:00:18.400 Thank you for being with us as we take up the issues and the politics
00:00:21.660 of what is quickly becoming, really, very quickly,
00:00:25.920 a new geopolitical order forming rapidly around the globe,
00:00:30.600 whether it's manifested in a decidedly despotic Vladimir Putin,
00:00:34.940 whose troops have invaded Ukraine and who has obviously designs on other Eastern European nations
00:00:41.040 and their territories to fulfill his ambitions and aggression,
00:00:45.700 Putin has allied himself with Chinese President Xi Jinping,
00:00:49.920 the two most powerful despots in all the world,
00:00:54.260 and the two countries have arguably in combination a more powerful military
00:00:59.400 than does the United States and NATO.
00:01:02.860 He and Xi are willing to use their military might to expand their borders
00:01:07.840 and create two sprawling hegemonic spheres
00:01:10.500 that, if the Western powers permit, would control most of the world.
00:01:15.920 Both China and Russia have hypersonic weapons
00:01:18.920 that travel 10 to 15 times faster than the speed of sound.
00:01:23.320 The United States does not.
00:01:26.180 Europe does not.
00:01:28.140 Those hypersonic weapons leapfrog U.S. missile technology
00:01:32.240 and represent a significant combat advantage.
00:01:37.080 Their hypersonic missiles are deployed, mind you,
00:01:40.480 while the United States is lagging badly behind.
00:01:44.340 Our hypersonic weapons are only in development.
00:01:48.660 Meanwhile, lawmakers of both parties are reminding President Biden
00:01:52.180 he must seek their authorization before sending troops
00:01:55.520 or launching attacks against Russian forces.
00:01:59.060 Russia, at this moment, is warning of a, quote, painful response,
00:02:03.620 end quote, to President Biden's sanctions against Russia
00:02:07.240 and many of the top officials of Putin's government
00:02:10.380 and his inner circle.
00:02:12.320 This, while the Communist Chinese are threatening again Taiwan,
00:02:16.300 saying it is no Ukraine, as they put it,
00:02:20.280 tensions are rising around the world,
00:02:23.140 as she and Putin obviously seek a new world order
00:02:27.220 with them atop the global power structure.
00:02:30.600 All of this in the midst of more revelations
00:02:33.140 about the radical dams
00:02:34.640 and the deep state's plot
00:02:36.580 to overthrow President Trump throughout his term in office
00:02:40.260 to cover up their crimes
00:02:42.340 and perhaps stolen an election.
00:02:45.640 While Speaker Pelosi has unleashed a partisan committee
00:02:48.760 that is nothing less than a political assault
00:02:51.640 against the Republican Party
00:02:53.680 and the integrity of our very government.
00:02:57.140 Joining us now, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
00:03:01.580 And Congresswoman, it's always good to talk with you.
00:03:04.420 Thanks for being here.
00:03:05.400 And we have a lot to talk about.
00:03:09.100 And if I may, I'd like to begin, first of all,
00:03:12.040 with your thoughts about what is
00:03:14.220 the Biden administration's response
00:03:16.820 to Putin's aggression in Eastern Europe.
00:03:21.360 Well, thank you so much for having me on, Lou.
00:03:23.860 It's always good to talk with you too.
00:03:25.720 And I'll tell you, I don't even see this as a response
00:03:28.860 from the president of the United States, Joe Biden.
00:03:33.880 This isn't a response.
00:03:35.200 And I'll tell you why.
00:03:36.160 I believe it's been a green light
00:03:37.580 for Vladimir Putin this entire time.
00:03:40.120 You see, we went into this whole thing
00:03:41.920 with President Biden saying openly
00:03:44.060 that we would not be engaging in war with Russia.
00:03:47.060 He was also saying that we would only remain unity
00:03:50.480 with our NATO allies.
00:03:52.720 And then thirdly, NATO was saying the entire time
00:03:55.640 they would never let Ukraine join NATO.
00:03:58.240 So if you add those three things together,
00:04:00.480 that has been the entire time
00:04:02.320 a great big green light to Putin.
00:04:04.040 Go ahead and invade Ukraine.
00:04:06.060 The United States will stand by.
00:04:07.620 We will not be engaging in war with Russia.
00:04:10.140 And Ukraine will not be allowed to join NATO.
00:04:13.160 Therefore, we will not be defending Ukraine.
00:04:16.160 So this whole thing has been a setup, Lou.
00:04:18.340 And all it is is for Biden and the typical neocons
00:04:23.360 and those in Washington that have sold out America
00:04:26.260 to just do small arm deals
00:04:28.280 and for the defense contractors to make a lot of money
00:04:31.460 and manufacturers to make money sending small arms
00:04:34.600 and weapons into Ukraine to drag out some sort of conflict
00:04:38.540 and to try to make President Biden look like he is tough
00:04:43.560 by talking tough when actually he's doing nothing.
00:04:46.020 He's enabling all of this to happen.
00:04:47.800 Yet at the same time, both parties' members, 43 of them,
00:04:53.860 sending a letter to President Biden reminding him
00:04:56.620 that he must seek their authorization,
00:04:59.740 that is, Congress's authorization,
00:05:02.600 if he is to send in American troops
00:05:05.400 or if he is to attack Russian forces.
00:05:09.520 It seems there's some concern about how eager he might be.
00:05:14.440 It's an eagerness, I grant you, and I agree with you,
00:05:17.960 that he hasn't shown.
00:05:19.660 He has shown no appetite whatsoever
00:05:23.220 to counter any of Putin's moves here,
00:05:27.760 including the direct invasion of the Ukraine.
00:05:32.340 And by the way, in the case of Ukraine, as you know,
00:05:35.220 no one in the national media is paying any attention
00:05:37.920 to the Budapest Memorandum of 1994,
00:05:40.360 which does require the United States,
00:05:43.420 the United Kingdom, and European powers
00:05:45.680 to protect Ukraine.
00:05:48.380 That deal done in exchange for Ukraine
00:05:53.340 giving up its nuclear weapons back in 94.
00:05:57.140 It's stunning to me that no one is talking about it
00:06:00.100 and certainly that the administration
00:06:01.740 is not regarding that as a binding commitment
00:06:04.740 on the part of the United States.
00:06:06.320 Your thoughts.
00:06:08.680 Well, actually, so here's how I see it.
00:06:12.580 No, we don't have to,
00:06:13.700 I don't think we have to be concerned
00:06:14.980 about war with Russia
00:06:15.900 because that's not what Biden is interested in.
00:06:18.980 And while I fully agree with my colleagues
00:06:20.920 that Congress should be the one giving authorization
00:06:24.160 for the United States to go to war,
00:06:26.240 again, that's what I don't think we're looking at.
00:06:28.440 What I think we're looking at
00:06:29.700 is oil and gas deals in Europe.
00:06:32.120 And this is primarily what it boils down to.
00:06:36.200 You see, this is what they keep talking about,
00:06:38.640 Nord Stream 2.
00:06:39.800 And then the question is, well, what about Germany?
00:06:42.300 And what about Europe in regards to energy
00:06:45.340 with oil and natural gas?
00:06:47.480 And so they're talking about sanctions on Russia,
00:06:50.760 but Russia's already made a deal with China.
00:06:53.600 Putin has made a $117.5 billion deal
00:06:57.440 just recently with Xi of China to sell oil and gas.
00:07:02.320 And so Putin isn't worried about sanctions.
00:07:05.200 What we're trying to,
00:07:06.140 what we're doing is Joe Biden
00:07:08.120 is doing what he's always done.
00:07:10.460 He's more interested in business deals.
00:07:12.540 And while he's killing America's energy independence,
00:07:15.740 he's more interested in Europe's energy
00:07:18.940 and their independence.
00:07:20.680 And he's trying to push Putin out of the business deal
00:07:23.900 when it comes to oil and gas in Europe.
00:07:25.600 And it's very clear, too,
00:07:30.380 that this is coming at a propitious time
00:07:34.120 for the Biden administration
00:07:35.280 with his and his vice president's approval numbers
00:07:39.100 underwater and disastrous,
00:07:41.980 distracting the national media from attention
00:07:44.940 to both his performance,
00:07:48.220 the disasters that he's overseen
00:07:50.220 in his first year in office.
00:07:52.100 And now to think about this man as commander in chief,
00:07:56.080 that is leaving many Americans gasping
00:07:59.720 at the possibilities with such a weak
00:08:03.220 and obviously weakened leader.
00:08:07.420 Oh, of course.
00:08:09.400 This is how I see it.
00:08:11.060 I see the Democrats playing their typical game.
00:08:13.360 They're putting a shiny object out there
00:08:15.760 to distract everyone.
00:08:17.280 So what has happened?
00:08:18.620 And I always look at things from a business standpoint
00:08:20.780 because that's my background.
00:08:22.620 When Joe Biden hurt America's energy sector,
00:08:25.820 when he hurt our oil companies
00:08:27.520 and our natural gas companies
00:08:29.120 and told that, you know,
00:08:30.700 basically said they had to take down their production,
00:08:34.560 he had to fill in the gap for them.
00:08:36.440 And so this whole little Ukraine situation
00:08:39.620 we're seeing unfold
00:08:40.720 is he's blocking Putin and Russia
00:08:43.780 or he's trying to block them
00:08:45.680 from being able to sell oil and gas
00:08:48.380 to Germany and Europe.
00:08:50.080 And at the same time,
00:08:51.520 he's promising our companies
00:08:53.780 here in the United States,
00:08:55.040 well, I'm going to try to work a deal
00:08:56.320 where you'll be able to provide oil
00:08:58.560 and natural gas over here
00:09:00.600 to Germany and Europe.
00:09:02.720 But it's a big, shiny object.
00:09:05.080 It's him being able to talk tough
00:09:06.680 because he ruined his reputation
00:09:08.400 in Afghanistan.
00:09:10.120 It's something else in the news cycle
00:09:12.080 to cover up the rapidly rising inflation
00:09:14.500 that's out of control,
00:09:15.440 the high crime rates and the wide open border.
00:09:18.360 And so all this is in perfect place
00:09:20.540 to have a shiny object to distract everyone
00:09:22.800 as we move into the midterm elections.
00:09:25.660 The Democrats are not stupid.
00:09:27.260 They know how to use the media in their favor
00:09:29.760 and try to distract the American people
00:09:32.000 in order to win elections.
00:09:33.740 So I think that's what's going on, Lou.
00:09:35.960 Well, I think you're certainly right.
00:09:39.280 In full measure,
00:09:43.600 the Democrats right now
00:09:45.280 are trying to hide so much
00:09:47.080 their past performance
00:09:48.320 in carrying out a conspiracy
00:09:49.840 against the president,
00:09:51.280 an attempt to overthrow
00:09:53.100 President Trump's presidency,
00:09:55.440 an effort to block him as a candidate.
00:09:58.700 It's remarkable
00:10:00.280 the number of crimes
00:10:02.420 that they appear to have committed
00:10:04.340 over the course of five years.
00:10:06.280 and not one of them
00:10:08.700 has been taken to prison.
00:10:12.360 It's just remarkable to me
00:10:14.520 that they could have gotten away with this
00:10:16.740 with the cooperation, obviously,
00:10:19.500 of the, if not outright complicity,
00:10:22.200 of the national corporate media
00:10:24.400 and the deep state.
00:10:26.780 Your thoughts?
00:10:28.700 Oh, I completely agree.
00:10:30.060 But I think we're finally to a place
00:10:31.840 where the American people
00:10:32.800 are so tired of it.
00:10:34.480 You know, the Durham report,
00:10:35.600 he brings out this information
00:10:37.200 and finally releases the information
00:10:39.760 that solidly proves
00:10:41.000 that Hillary Clinton's campaign
00:10:42.320 spied on Donald Trump
00:10:43.880 when he was a candidate for president,
00:10:45.720 but then also showed the proof
00:10:47.100 that Hillary Clinton's campaign
00:10:48.560 and her attorneys at Perkins and Coie
00:10:50.280 spied on President Donald J. Trump
00:10:53.480 when he was in the White House.
00:10:54.820 But yet it took so long
00:10:56.180 for this information to come out
00:10:58.020 that we really all knew was true.
00:11:02.600 And President Trump had told all along.
00:11:05.220 See, here's where we're at, Lou.
00:11:06.720 We're so tired of no one being held accountable
00:11:09.460 and no one going to jail
00:11:10.820 while the Democrats go full throttle
00:11:12.940 and come after us
00:11:14.000 and even create stories,
00:11:15.900 create lies,
00:11:16.840 and make up crimes
00:11:18.040 that any of us supposedly committed.
00:11:20.920 But yet we have people on our side
00:11:23.120 that won't even fight the fight for us.
00:11:24.720 Like Mitch McConnell,
00:11:25.980 just helping Joe Biden's agenda,
00:11:28.100 totally helping him,
00:11:29.220 all of his nominees get confirmed.
00:11:31.740 Here he is.
00:11:32.360 He's going to stand by
00:11:33.320 and probably help Joe Biden
00:11:35.160 get whoever he wants the pick
00:11:36.820 for the Supreme Court.
00:11:38.280 And then don't forget,
00:11:39.480 the CR just last week
00:11:40.920 where we had senators
00:11:42.200 just sit it out and not vote
00:11:43.680 when they should have blocked it
00:11:44.780 to stop the vaccine mandates
00:11:46.420 and the continuing resolution.
00:11:47.940 That's all to blame
00:11:48.680 on people like Mitch McConnell
00:11:49.980 and Lindsey Graham.
00:11:50.920 These are the worst Republicans
00:11:52.220 in Washington.
00:11:53.240 They help the Democrats
00:11:54.300 practically more
00:11:55.040 than the Democrats themselves.
00:11:56.600 And they sell out America
00:11:57.640 and put America last.
00:11:59.700 Absolutely.
00:12:00.680 You left out our good friend,
00:12:02.920 Mitt Romney, as well.
00:12:05.680 It's disgusting to think
00:12:07.760 what those four people did.
00:12:12.780 To me, it's stunning
00:12:14.420 that the RINOs still have a place
00:12:16.300 anywhere, anywhere
00:12:18.100 in the Republican Party.
00:12:20.040 And it goes on and on and on.
00:12:23.220 And they're unchallenged.
00:12:25.220 Donald Trump,
00:12:26.100 the former president saying,
00:12:28.840 you know, you can tell he's just,
00:12:30.300 it's driving him crazy
00:12:32.220 that this Mitch McConnell,
00:12:34.640 who has tried to create
00:12:35.820 a rift between him
00:12:37.440 and Ron DeSantis,
00:12:39.080 the governor of Florida,
00:12:40.520 it turns out he was behind
00:12:42.020 all of that nonsense
00:12:43.160 that was peddled to the media.
00:12:45.440 And at the same time,
00:12:47.600 is not interested in engaging
00:12:49.860 as the loyal opposition.
00:12:51.400 What is he if he is not
00:12:54.200 for a fiscal,
00:12:55.900 responsible fiscal policy?
00:12:57.740 What is he if he's not
00:12:59.060 interested in
00:13:00.440 ending high inflation
00:13:02.620 and restoring,
00:13:04.640 restoring economic growth?
00:13:07.340 Mitch McConnell makes no sense
00:13:09.200 whatsoever on any level
00:13:11.140 other than the fact
00:13:12.460 that he is obviously
00:13:14.100 very comfortable
00:13:15.500 with Nancy Pelosi
00:13:17.180 and President Biden.
00:13:21.120 Oh, I so agree with you.
00:13:23.000 And I'll take it a step further.
00:13:24.660 If we're asking what he is,
00:13:26.420 I would allege
00:13:27.360 that he's a Chinese agent.
00:13:28.740 He's working for the CCP.
00:13:30.560 The information that came out
00:13:32.140 in Peter Schweitzer's book
00:13:33.220 was compelling and shocking.
00:13:36.020 I mean, Mitch McConnell's
00:13:37.200 married to Elaine Chao
00:13:38.400 and who is Elaine Chao's father?
00:13:40.420 One of the biggest shipping,
00:13:42.960 you know, industry giants
00:13:44.700 for the CCP.
00:13:46.840 And this is this is the family
00:13:48.880 that Mitch McConnell,
00:13:50.120 the Republican leader
00:13:51.020 in the Senate,
00:13:51.660 is married into.
00:13:52.780 I think it is remarkable
00:13:54.720 and stunning
00:13:55.820 that we turn a blind eye
00:13:58.020 to that
00:13:58.420 and allow that to continue
00:13:59.780 because that's corruption
00:14:01.140 on the highest level.
00:14:02.740 And this is why
00:14:03.520 I firmly believe
00:14:04.300 that Mitch McConnell
00:14:05.060 cannot be the leader
00:14:06.120 in the Senate
00:14:06.700 and for Republicans.
00:14:08.160 And I believe
00:14:09.300 that it's people
00:14:09.940 like Mitch McConnell,
00:14:11.280 Nancy Pelosi
00:14:12.120 with her husband's
00:14:13.240 and her son's
00:14:14.000 business dealing,
00:14:14.700 Joe Biden
00:14:16.720 and Hunter Biden's
00:14:17.680 business dealings.
00:14:18.780 All of these people,
00:14:19.800 I don't care what party they are.
00:14:21.400 They should be investigated
00:14:22.620 because this is
00:14:23.560 what's happened to America.
00:14:25.140 We've been sold out
00:14:25.940 by politicians
00:14:26.800 who have gotten rich
00:14:28.060 on making friends
00:14:29.460 with our enemies
00:14:30.280 and putting our country last.
00:14:32.560 And Lou,
00:14:32.920 I think it's time
00:14:33.700 for all of us
00:14:34.340 to stand up against it
00:14:35.380 and say we've had enough
00:14:36.340 and we will not allow it
00:14:37.720 to continue any longer.
00:14:39.720 Yeah, you know,
00:14:40.480 you're exactly right.
00:14:42.260 And of course,
00:14:43.460 but now I wonder
00:14:44.540 who's going to do
00:14:45.420 the investigating.
00:14:46.980 We see greater alignment
00:14:48.560 between the deep state
00:14:49.900 and China
00:14:50.860 than we do
00:14:52.560 with President Trump,
00:14:54.660 for example.
00:14:56.100 They clearly
00:14:57.820 were opposed
00:14:59.380 to every policy,
00:15:00.880 his tariffs,
00:15:01.740 his insistence
00:15:02.960 that there be balanced trade,
00:15:04.580 that we have
00:15:05.380 a strong posture
00:15:06.560 against the Chinese
00:15:08.340 and Wall Street
00:15:09.480 demanding
00:15:10.200 at the same time
00:15:12.420 that we have
00:15:14.260 investors ship
00:15:15.440 their money
00:15:15.940 to China
00:15:16.600 through their
00:15:17.480 Wall Street funds
00:15:18.860 to invest
00:15:20.360 in companies
00:15:21.120 that are allied,
00:15:22.200 if not controlled,
00:15:23.280 by the People's Liberation Army,
00:15:26.060 the CCP.
00:15:27.340 It just goes on
00:15:29.000 and on.
00:15:29.560 We're a country
00:15:30.260 right now.
00:15:31.720 It's like
00:15:32.100 it's like
00:15:33.000 the country
00:15:34.800 is dissolving
00:15:35.840 around this idea
00:15:36.880 that China
00:15:38.400 is the future.
00:15:40.420 And by the way,
00:15:41.020 we still maintain
00:15:42.200 considerable animus
00:15:43.600 and fear
00:15:44.040 when it comes
00:15:44.620 to Vladimir Putin.
00:15:45.580 We don't like him,
00:15:46.680 but we like
00:15:47.420 this other communist
00:15:48.320 who is a greater threat
00:15:49.680 to the United States.
00:15:51.040 It makes no sense.
00:15:52.800 And the reason is
00:15:54.160 people are being bought
00:15:56.220 and paid for.
00:15:57.260 And that level
00:15:59.280 of corruption,
00:16:00.020 I think,
00:16:00.360 to most Americans
00:16:01.140 is incomprehensible.
00:16:02.740 But it's there.
00:16:04.140 It's real.
00:16:05.180 And it is persuasive
00:16:06.820 for too many
00:16:08.260 of our elected officials
00:16:09.520 to great a number
00:16:11.840 of our permanent
00:16:13.620 bureaucrats,
00:16:15.160 the deep state.
00:16:16.780 Oh, I completely agree.
00:16:18.760 And then don't forget,
00:16:20.100 while all of that is true,
00:16:21.380 we have our media
00:16:22.340 who hide
00:16:23.900 under the wonderful
00:16:25.300 freedom
00:16:25.820 and the veil
00:16:26.900 of freedom of press.
00:16:28.540 But the freedom of press
00:16:29.420 is not freedom to lie.
00:16:30.960 And that's what they do
00:16:32.120 every single day.
00:16:32.960 They lie
00:16:33.480 and they cover up
00:16:34.380 and they twist the truth
00:16:35.860 about what is actually
00:16:37.600 happening in our country.
00:16:38.740 Because here's something
00:16:40.020 that you and I both know,
00:16:41.520 Lou,
00:16:42.020 is the American people,
00:16:44.420 irregardless
00:16:45.180 of their political identity,
00:16:46.740 whether they're Democrat,
00:16:47.760 Republican,
00:16:48.360 independent,
00:16:49.200 or I don't care
00:16:50.360 if they truly understood
00:16:52.000 what was happening
00:16:52.760 in our government
00:16:53.400 and what these sold-out
00:16:55.060 America-class politicians
00:16:56.460 were doing
00:16:57.120 by joining
00:16:58.000 joining the team
00:16:59.420 with the CCP
00:17:00.240 and completely
00:17:02.120 putting America
00:17:03.180 on a collision course
00:17:05.360 that will just
00:17:07.040 totally destroy
00:17:07.960 our country
00:17:08.520 and end our freedoms.
00:17:09.560 If the American people
00:17:11.060 truly knew the truth,
00:17:12.320 they would never allow it.
00:17:14.320 And when you talk
00:17:15.040 about investigations,
00:17:16.520 this is something
00:17:17.400 that I think
00:17:17.940 is extremely important.
00:17:19.500 We have to clean out
00:17:20.440 our intelligence agencies.
00:17:21.880 You know,
00:17:22.640 it's not the everyday
00:17:24.520 or the mostly
00:17:26.620 the rank-and-file guys.
00:17:27.960 I think a good many
00:17:29.040 of them are really good people,
00:17:30.560 but it's the people
00:17:31.720 that are at the top ranks
00:17:33.120 of the FBI,
00:17:34.220 the Department of Justice,
00:17:35.320 and the CIA.
00:17:36.440 Those people
00:17:37.420 have got to be cleaned out
00:17:38.820 because they are
00:17:40.540 no longer aligned
00:17:41.780 with our American values,
00:17:43.540 and the wokeness
00:17:44.720 has got to be ripped out
00:17:46.100 of those agencies.
00:17:47.000 Yeah, I agree with you
00:17:49.480 on most of your statement.
00:17:52.440 I don't know
00:17:53.260 how many good people
00:17:54.120 are in the FBI
00:17:55.660 and the National Security Division.
00:17:58.700 Think about this.
00:17:59.960 Two impeachments,
00:18:01.980 a special counsel investigation,
00:18:03.880 the FBI carrying out
00:18:05.180 its own investigation
00:18:07.240 for almost a year
00:18:09.160 from the time
00:18:11.000 that Trump was a candidate
00:18:12.420 to the time
00:18:13.080 the first six months
00:18:13.920 of his administration.
00:18:15.660 Not a single,
00:18:17.440 single whistleblower,
00:18:19.280 not a single person
00:18:20.580 stood up
00:18:21.360 because they knew
00:18:22.820 lots of people
00:18:24.300 had to know
00:18:24.940 that the dossier
00:18:26.400 was fraudulent,
00:18:27.520 that the meeting
00:18:28.880 with General Flynn
00:18:29.840 in the White House
00:18:30.720 was a frame-up.
00:18:32.560 They had to know that.
00:18:34.720 These are not stupid people,
00:18:36.880 and the only other answer
00:18:38.620 is they're corrupt people
00:18:40.000 and too many of them.
00:18:41.660 I know there has to be some.
00:18:43.520 There have to be.
00:18:44.620 But they're not present
00:18:48.360 and they're not accounted for.
00:18:50.360 And to let the country
00:18:51.280 go through what it's done,
00:18:53.140 what they've permitted,
00:18:54.900 is disgusting.
00:18:56.800 It's appalling.
00:18:58.240 It is appalling.
00:18:59.800 And you're right.
00:19:01.200 That is such a valid point.
00:19:03.040 I think it takes great courage
00:19:04.700 because these people know
00:19:06.020 if they were to come forward
00:19:07.100 as whistleblowers
00:19:07.860 and tell the truth,
00:19:08.760 which you're right,
00:19:10.540 Lou,
00:19:10.900 they all know the truth.
00:19:13.080 But if they were to come forward
00:19:16.320 and tell the truth,
00:19:19.320 they know that they'd be
00:19:20.260 to provide for their family.
00:19:21.680 Unprecedented attacks
00:19:22.680 by the leftists
00:19:23.740 who genuinely wouldn't care
00:19:26.380 if they were to be killed
00:19:27.340 or their family.
00:19:28.820 So I guess I have hope
00:19:30.620 and hope in mankind
00:19:31.820 and I hope that there's
00:19:33.320 good people in there
00:19:34.260 and I have a hard time
00:19:35.900 writing everyone off.
00:19:38.180 But maybe that's the case.
00:19:40.440 But I really want to hope
00:19:41.580 there's still some good people there.
00:19:43.900 Let me be harsh
00:19:45.440 and I think realistic.
00:19:47.780 There's a reason we have laws
00:19:49.560 and there is a reason
00:19:51.060 that we have penalties
00:19:52.260 for violating those laws.
00:19:54.260 And that is that fear
00:19:56.600 of the consequences
00:19:58.540 of immoral, illegal,
00:20:00.780 and unethical acts
00:20:02.720 will result in prison time.
00:20:06.440 And we haven't seen that happen.
00:20:09.440 I can't think of the last
00:20:10.660 federal official
00:20:11.480 who corrupt or otherwise
00:20:14.160 was sent off to prison
00:20:15.720 by a jury of his peers
00:20:17.240 or her peers.
00:20:18.800 It just doesn't happen.
00:20:20.640 The entire workforce
00:20:24.380 of the FBI,
00:20:25.880 the Justice Department,
00:20:27.440 they have immunity
00:20:28.500 of some kind
00:20:29.560 because it's really remarkable
00:20:31.800 that they have found
00:20:32.660 all these people
00:20:33.500 who are so pure of spirit,
00:20:35.460 soul, and fact,
00:20:36.900 that not a lot of them
00:20:38.760 has ever been punished
00:20:40.380 for committing a crime,
00:20:43.340 an offense.
00:20:44.580 Don't you find that remarkable?
00:20:47.080 Oh, yeah.
00:20:47.620 I think it's terrifying, actually.
00:20:49.880 It's kind of like
00:20:50.800 the don't tell on me
00:20:51.860 and I won't tell on you motto.
00:20:54.000 Maybe that's the handshake deal
00:20:55.360 that everyone's made there
00:20:56.620 and they're only serving themselves
00:20:58.640 in that case.
00:20:59.740 And that doesn't make them
00:21:00.820 law enforcement bodies
00:21:02.080 or bodies of justice.
00:21:03.180 That makes them corrupt
00:21:05.120 and completely wrong.
00:21:07.280 But even worse,
00:21:08.180 I mean, look at what's happened
00:21:09.120 to our country
00:21:09.800 and our moral fabric.
00:21:12.580 I would say,
00:21:13.540 I would argue
00:21:14.160 that the generation of parents
00:21:16.260 that just rewarded
00:21:17.940 their children
00:21:18.680 and never gave them a spanking,
00:21:20.580 gave them a trophy
00:21:21.380 no matter what they did
00:21:23.060 and never gave them a spanking
00:21:24.520 no matter what they did wrong,
00:21:26.820 that's an infection.
00:21:28.320 It's like a poison in the well
00:21:29.700 and it's really hurt our society.
00:21:31.600 And that's why no one's
00:21:33.280 ever held accountable
00:21:34.060 and no one goes to jail
00:21:35.180 because no one has the guts
00:21:36.520 to actually do it.
00:21:37.960 I just don't believe that way.
00:21:39.800 I believe in tough love
00:21:41.000 and I believe in learning lessons.
00:21:43.560 Learning lessons are the best thing
00:21:45.340 that can happen to us in life.
00:21:47.460 And I would also say that,
00:21:49.380 you know,
00:21:49.860 it's actually an act of love
00:21:51.520 to help someone
00:21:52.500 or hold people accountable.
00:21:54.800 That's actually an act of love
00:21:56.200 because you're taking care
00:21:57.880 of your entire family.
00:21:58.940 And I see America as one big family
00:22:01.760 and our family is a mess
00:22:04.060 and our home is a mess.
00:22:05.340 And that requires parents, right?
00:22:08.120 Parents that are willing to say,
00:22:09.440 no, we're going to clean this up.
00:22:10.840 We're going to throw out the bad actors.
00:22:12.580 We're going to clean up
00:22:13.400 the mess in our house.
00:22:14.200 We're going to lock our doors
00:22:15.160 and windows at night
00:22:16.200 and we're not allowing
00:22:17.560 this bad behavior anymore.
00:22:19.620 And we're going to respect
00:22:20.760 each other again.
00:22:21.780 And that's what I believe in, Lou.
00:22:23.420 And I think it's time
00:22:24.160 for us to start doing that.
00:22:25.240 Well, I'd like us to start
00:22:28.180 with every corrupt politician.
00:22:30.500 I'd like to see every corrupt politician
00:22:34.060 in this country behind bars
00:22:36.200 instead of sent off to retirement,
00:22:39.720 resigned and walking away
00:22:43.000 without being held accountable.
00:22:45.240 It's disgusting.
00:22:46.580 Pete Buttigieg, for example,
00:22:48.840 according to watchdogs,
00:22:52.100 Pete Buttigieg as a mayor
00:22:54.220 accepted $250,000 in gifts
00:22:56.940 from mayoral campaign donors
00:22:59.340 who were later awarded
00:23:01.420 $33 million in city contracts.
00:23:03.860 And now as transportation secretary,
00:23:06.580 he's going to be responsible
00:23:08.220 for $210 billion of infrastructure.
00:23:11.660 I don't know if he's got a house
00:23:13.960 big enough to put all that money in.
00:23:16.000 What do you think?
00:23:17.220 Oh, I think he should be fired.
00:23:19.300 Like that's the type of corruption
00:23:21.220 we can't tolerate.
00:23:23.320 We shouldn't tolerate.
00:23:25.340 But again, it takes people
00:23:27.480 actually caring about it
00:23:28.980 and saying enough,
00:23:30.780 enough of this that has to end,
00:23:32.360 that has to stop.
00:23:33.620 And I just don't see it
00:23:35.380 from the American people.
00:23:36.680 And I really want to see it, Lou.
00:23:38.780 You know, I refuse to wear a mask
00:23:40.940 on the House floor.
00:23:41.840 I have over $100,000
00:23:44.120 in mask fines from Nancy Pelosi.
00:23:47.360 But the reason why I refuse
00:23:48.660 to wear a mask on the House floor
00:23:50.100 is because I believe
00:23:51.380 we have to stop doing it
00:23:52.980 in order to make it stop.
00:23:54.980 But there's so many Americans
00:23:56.440 that just won't stop.
00:23:57.720 Even when they don't agree with it,
00:23:59.420 they're tired of the mask
00:24:00.540 and they don't want their kids
00:24:01.600 wearing a mask.
00:24:02.740 You walk in an airport
00:24:03.760 and everyone's still walking around
00:24:05.260 with a mask on.
00:24:06.640 And it's got to end.
00:24:08.520 And the only way to end it
00:24:09.740 is to stop tolerating it.
00:24:12.600 And I just,
00:24:13.440 I want to see that
00:24:14.460 from the American people.
00:24:15.440 When the American people say
00:24:16.560 we won't tolerate the corruption,
00:24:17.880 that's when it'll finally stop.
00:24:20.680 And I agree with you.
00:24:22.440 And I also think we've returned
00:24:25.380 to the fundamental issue here
00:24:27.440 in this election year.
00:24:29.200 Why would anybody vote
00:24:30.820 for a Republican
00:24:31.680 other than Biden
00:24:33.600 and the Democrats
00:24:34.580 are corrupt and inept?
00:24:37.080 That doesn't seem
00:24:38.180 to be enough of a reason.
00:24:39.760 And the leadership
00:24:41.500 is disastrous
00:24:43.980 on the part of the Republicans.
00:24:46.380 But, you know,
00:24:47.560 it's a very interesting
00:24:48.560 test of the courage
00:24:50.500 of the party.
00:24:52.100 The Republican Party,
00:24:53.480 and let's talk right now
00:24:54.300 about the House of Representatives,
00:24:56.000 where you know best,
00:24:57.580 and that is,
00:24:58.940 no one in the Republican Party
00:25:00.680 has got the guts
00:25:01.820 to stand up
00:25:02.640 and run against
00:25:03.680 Kevin McCarthy.
00:25:05.280 What does that say
00:25:06.780 about the conference itself?
00:25:09.500 The Republicans
00:25:10.320 who want to take back,
00:25:12.940 as they put it,
00:25:13.720 control of the House.
00:25:15.320 To what point?
00:25:16.380 To what effect
00:25:17.820 would it have
00:25:19.900 if people who haven't
00:25:21.620 the courage
00:25:22.160 to run against
00:25:23.300 an obvious rhino
00:25:24.640 and a man of,
00:25:26.260 you know,
00:25:27.140 a immensely weak stomach?
00:25:30.380 They're just as bad.
00:25:33.660 Well, that shows you
00:25:36.040 the temperature
00:25:36.560 of our conference.
00:25:37.620 We don't have
00:25:38.160 anyone else running.
00:25:40.540 No one is stepping up
00:25:41.740 to the challenge.
00:25:42.920 And, you know,
00:25:43.640 just for people
00:25:44.420 to understand
00:25:45.060 it's a lot different
00:25:46.120 on the inside
00:25:46.840 than it looks
00:25:47.360 on the outside.
00:25:48.080 And it really revolves
00:25:49.480 around fundraising.
00:25:50.940 So the person
00:25:51.760 that's able to be
00:25:52.520 the leader
00:25:53.060 within the conference
00:25:54.120 is always the person
00:25:56.080 that's able to raise
00:25:57.000 the most money.
00:25:58.420 And Kevin McCarthy
00:25:59.280 is unmatched.
00:26:00.240 He has broken record
00:26:01.540 after record
00:26:02.140 with fundraising.
00:26:03.380 And there's a lot
00:26:04.420 that can be done
00:26:05.060 with that loop.
00:26:06.260 The leader
00:26:07.080 with the most money
00:26:08.020 is able to support
00:26:08.980 other Republicans
00:26:09.880 when they're struggling
00:26:10.860 to raise money.
00:26:12.460 And then they also
00:26:13.340 can send donors
00:26:14.300 to help them out.
00:26:15.400 They get to pick
00:26:16.000 and choose
00:26:16.460 who they support.
00:26:17.660 And so you can see
00:26:18.500 why it's a power structure
00:26:19.880 that's difficult to undo.
00:26:22.500 And that's,
00:26:23.260 I don't agree with it
00:26:24.340 is what I'm saying.
00:26:25.800 I don't agree
00:26:26.380 with that type
00:26:26.980 of power structure.
00:26:28.220 It would be really interesting
00:26:29.600 to hold a national election
00:26:32.860 among Republican voters
00:26:34.380 for who they would like
00:26:35.440 to see to be the leader
00:26:36.960 within our conference
00:26:38.020 and see how it would compare
00:26:40.420 to how the conference votes.
00:26:42.980 But it is true.
00:26:43.820 There's no one,
00:26:44.560 there's no one running
00:26:45.580 as of yet.
00:26:48.680 So that is,
00:26:49.700 that's what I'll make you.
00:26:50.880 I'll make you a side bet,
00:26:52.560 Congresswoman.
00:26:53.720 Okay.
00:26:54.240 I'll make you a side bet
00:26:55.480 that no one does.
00:26:57.400 And the reason
00:26:58.460 is what you just said.
00:27:01.920 They're so corrupt.
00:27:03.700 Everybody's bought
00:27:04.520 into the system.
00:27:06.100 That's correct.
00:27:06.600 That is the definition
00:27:07.680 of corruption.
00:27:09.260 What you just said
00:27:10.160 that the Republican Party,
00:27:11.300 and by the way,
00:27:12.180 it's every bit,
00:27:13.200 if not worse,
00:27:14.000 in the Democratic Party.
00:27:15.120 I'm not suggesting
00:27:15.780 that there is a,
00:27:16.680 one is any better
00:27:18.440 than the other or worse.
00:27:20.700 It's just disgusting
00:27:21.920 that that is the way
00:27:23.260 it's played.
00:27:24.160 And I know it's been that way
00:27:25.500 for a very long time.
00:27:27.080 But, you know,
00:27:27.800 there was times
00:27:28.700 where they broke out of it.
00:27:30.920 They actually moved to people
00:27:33.260 who could lead
00:27:35.180 and had principle
00:27:36.240 and who had energy.
00:27:38.060 And you show me energy
00:27:39.660 in that Republican Party leadership,
00:27:41.340 and I'll tell you,
00:27:42.420 somebody pointed out
00:27:43.620 the wrong person.
00:27:44.780 Because I look at
00:27:46.000 John Thune,
00:27:47.680 John Barrasso,
00:27:50.080 Mitch McConnell
00:27:50.800 in the Senate,
00:27:51.860 those people
00:27:52.600 don't have enough energy
00:27:53.600 to get down the hallway.
00:27:56.220 Kevin McCarthy
00:27:57.300 and his team,
00:27:59.500 I'm not even talking
00:28:00.940 about their original,
00:28:02.560 the capacity
00:28:03.900 for original thinking,
00:28:05.600 their integrity.
00:28:06.880 I'm talking about
00:28:07.700 their energy
00:28:08.960 to actually work
00:28:10.920 for the,
00:28:11.740 as representatives
00:28:12.860 of the American people.
00:28:14.620 It is a sad,
00:28:16.740 pathetic failure
00:28:18.160 on the part
00:28:19.060 of the Republican Party
00:28:20.100 at a time
00:28:20.620 when they should be
00:28:21.800 rejoicing
00:28:22.840 in the opportunity
00:28:23.760 before them
00:28:24.520 to take back control
00:28:26.060 of the House and Senate.
00:28:27.220 Instead,
00:28:28.500 they are indolent,
00:28:31.160 unimaginative
00:28:31.960 and lacking
00:28:33.120 in principle
00:28:34.000 or this would not
00:28:35.580 be the case.
00:28:36.300 I don't believe the,
00:28:37.180 I really believe this,
00:28:38.680 Congresswoman.
00:28:39.620 I believe the Republican Party
00:28:41.380 is very likely
00:28:42.640 to lose
00:28:43.360 the midterm elections
00:28:44.860 because
00:28:45.720 they at least
00:28:47.740 represent
00:28:50.380 a possibility
00:28:51.320 for hope
00:28:52.100 for American voters.
00:28:53.780 And to go in
00:28:54.820 and pull the lever
00:28:56.020 for them,
00:28:56.640 to vote for them
00:28:58.340 on your ballot,
00:28:59.760 why?
00:29:01.480 Because nothing changes.
00:29:03.520 And that one
00:29:04.220 of 435
00:29:05.400 is helpless
00:29:06.800 against that force
00:29:07.980 unless
00:29:08.440 there is a
00:29:09.800 wellspring
00:29:10.560 of integrity
00:29:11.360 and energy
00:29:12.480 and commitment
00:29:13.520 to this country
00:29:14.340 and the party.
00:29:15.640 And
00:29:16.040 golly,
00:29:17.660 you know,
00:29:18.060 you know,
00:29:18.660 with the exception
00:29:19.680 of you
00:29:20.220 and dozens more
00:29:21.800 in the conference,
00:29:23.580 I can't imagine
00:29:25.080 what it's like
00:29:25.740 to be a Republican
00:29:26.600 in the House
00:29:27.220 of Representatives.
00:29:28.860 Well,
00:29:29.360 if you've watched
00:29:30.520 what's happened
00:29:31.040 to me the past year,
00:29:31.860 you can see
00:29:32.360 it hasn't been easy.
00:29:34.200 But Lou,
00:29:35.140 what you're saying
00:29:36.280 is something
00:29:36.800 that I hear,
00:29:37.400 I'm hearing a lot
00:29:37.960 of people say
00:29:38.580 and I actually
00:29:39.300 am concerned myself.
00:29:41.480 In order to win
00:29:42.620 back the House,
00:29:43.760 Republicans
00:29:44.200 need to be giving
00:29:45.140 our voters
00:29:45.740 a reason to vote
00:29:46.660 for us.
00:29:47.700 Republican voters
00:29:48.580 are still outraged
00:29:49.820 over the election
00:29:50.580 of 2020.
00:29:51.700 Republican voters
00:29:52.660 are outraged
00:29:53.480 at Republicans
00:29:54.180 that for far too long
00:29:56.460 have failed
00:29:57.160 our voters
00:29:57.840 and they have not,
00:29:59.620 they've not followed
00:30:00.420 through on their promises.
00:30:02.000 So Republican voters
00:30:03.080 right now
00:30:03.560 I think are
00:30:04.280 in a funny place.
00:30:05.580 They hate,
00:30:06.400 absolutely hate
00:30:07.240 what's happening
00:30:07.820 to our country
00:30:08.500 with Biden.
00:30:09.660 They're so angry
00:30:10.620 and upset
00:30:11.360 and they believe
00:30:12.020 it shouldn't be happening.
00:30:13.340 But at the same time,
00:30:14.340 they're desperately
00:30:15.240 watching
00:30:16.100 the Republican conference
00:30:17.740 and watching Republicans
00:30:19.140 and saying,
00:30:20.320 give me a reason
00:30:21.280 to vote for you.
00:30:22.420 And that's how
00:30:23.420 I see it
00:30:24.940 because I know
00:30:25.740 I still just
00:30:26.800 think like a voter.
00:30:28.280 That's how I feel myself.
00:30:29.880 So when it comes
00:30:30.640 to Kevin McCarthy
00:30:31.720 and it comes
00:30:32.240 to our leadership,
00:30:33.600 you know,
00:30:33.800 when I got kicked
00:30:34.540 off of Twitter,
00:30:36.240 there were only people
00:30:37.180 put statements out,
00:30:38.540 just statements
00:30:39.200 about big tech censorship.
00:30:41.340 But you know
00:30:41.760 what it was really about?
00:30:42.760 It's not even
00:30:43.240 about my Twitter account.
00:30:44.580 It should be about
00:30:45.260 all the conservatives
00:30:46.100 that got kicked
00:30:47.620 off of Twitter.
00:30:49.240 That's what it should be about
00:30:50.520 and we should have
00:30:51.140 leadership calling
00:30:52.240 and demanding
00:30:53.040 to Twitter
00:30:54.020 to put me back on
00:30:55.380 and then saying,
00:30:56.780 if you're not going
00:30:57.260 to do this,
00:30:57.740 we're all leaving.
00:30:59.240 Like my entire conference
00:31:00.400 should have left Twitter.
00:31:01.500 They should have.
00:31:02.040 They should have said
00:31:02.600 in protest,
00:31:03.360 you're not going
00:31:03.940 to kick out
00:31:04.460 a member of Congress
00:31:05.640 and treat her this way.
00:31:07.620 We're standing up
00:31:08.760 to big tech censorship.
00:31:10.240 But then the second thing
00:31:11.220 that should have happened,
00:31:12.060 Lou,
00:31:12.360 is that what I tweeted,
00:31:14.360 I tweeted statistics
00:31:15.900 from the CDC
00:31:16.860 and the reason
00:31:18.080 why vaccines
00:31:18.900 were dangerous
00:31:19.520 and why mandates
00:31:20.560 are wrong
00:31:21.100 and that masking
00:31:22.100 children is child
00:31:23.020 abuse.
00:31:24.520 See,
00:31:25.020 them not standing up
00:31:26.220 to Twitter
00:31:26.800 on those issues
00:31:28.080 is another problem
00:31:29.120 for me.
00:31:30.020 Those are the issues
00:31:30.880 that our Republican voters
00:31:32.140 care about
00:31:32.780 and they didn't want
00:31:34.180 to do anything
00:31:34.900 about it.
00:31:35.940 And so this
00:31:36.740 has me
00:31:37.780 very,
00:31:38.460 very concerned.
00:31:40.400 There was no action,
00:31:41.960 real action
00:31:42.740 taken from leadership
00:31:43.860 and this is why
00:31:45.720 I'm having
00:31:46.600 a hard time
00:31:47.220 over will we
00:31:48.940 even take back
00:31:49.820 the House
00:31:50.380 if we aren't
00:31:51.300 willing to take
00:31:51.960 action now
00:31:52.880 when we have
00:31:53.820 nothing to lose,
00:31:55.240 zero,
00:31:55.720 nothing to lose,
00:31:56.880 then are we
00:31:57.860 even going
00:31:58.300 to take real action
00:31:59.360 when we actually
00:32:00.060 have control again?
00:32:01.500 And I think
00:32:01.960 that's what you're
00:32:02.540 talking about
00:32:03.100 and that's how
00:32:03.580 people really feel.
00:32:05.260 Well,
00:32:06.020 it's all that
00:32:07.600 you have done
00:32:08.080 to support
00:32:08.700 the political
00:32:09.760 prisoners
00:32:10.300 of January 6th
00:32:12.320 and those people
00:32:13.000 have been denied
00:32:13.660 due process,
00:32:14.800 the partisan
00:32:15.340 witch hunt
00:32:15.980 led by Nancy Pelosi
00:32:18.400 in the January 6th
00:32:19.660 committee.
00:32:20.700 The Republicans
00:32:21.500 haven't stood up
00:32:22.500 with you
00:32:23.060 and Louie Gohmert
00:32:25.020 and others
00:32:26.340 and said,
00:32:27.360 you know,
00:32:27.640 this will not
00:32:29.000 happen.
00:32:31.160 There's no courage.
00:32:33.360 These are people
00:32:33.940 who really,
00:32:34.740 it's not a question
00:32:35.640 of whether they
00:32:36.140 are principled
00:32:36.780 or not.
00:32:37.760 My guess is
00:32:38.480 they're not.
00:32:39.860 But the reality
00:32:41.240 is what good
00:32:42.180 are principles
00:32:42.720 if you don't
00:32:43.280 live by them?
00:32:44.440 What good
00:32:45.040 is it to have
00:32:45.840 quote-unquote
00:32:46.460 integrity
00:32:47.240 if you hide
00:32:50.240 sucking your thumb
00:32:51.460 in a dark corner?
00:32:53.280 What in the world
00:32:54.200 is wrong
00:32:54.800 with Americans
00:32:55.800 who have
00:32:56.540 the gumption
00:32:58.160 to run for office
00:32:59.260 but then don't
00:33:00.540 have the courage
00:33:01.660 to sacrifice,
00:33:04.260 to do whatever
00:33:04.800 is necessary
00:33:05.800 to hold up
00:33:07.600 the values
00:33:08.180 of the country
00:33:08.940 and to do
00:33:09.820 what is right?
00:33:11.280 This is not
00:33:11.820 a complicated
00:33:12.500 political concept.
00:33:14.080 Just do
00:33:14.620 what's right
00:33:15.400 and McConnell
00:33:17.900 and McCarthy
00:33:19.040 will never say
00:33:20.320 do what's right.
00:33:21.320 You will never
00:33:21.820 hear those words
00:33:22.600 from their mouths
00:33:23.320 because if the conference
00:33:25.900 were to do
00:33:26.380 what's right,
00:33:27.440 they would be
00:33:28.160 without work.
00:33:30.680 Yeah,
00:33:31.020 absolutely,
00:33:32.380 that's very true.
00:33:33.740 About those
00:33:34.580 political prisoners,
00:33:35.920 it's really appalling
00:33:37.000 to me.
00:33:37.520 you know,
00:33:38.200 there's only
00:33:38.540 been a few
00:33:39.040 Republican members,
00:33:40.860 Louie Gohmert,
00:33:41.480 Matt Gaetz,
00:33:42.820 Paul Gosar,
00:33:44.560 Andy Biggs,
00:33:45.700 Bob Goode,
00:33:46.180 just a few people
00:33:47.480 that have shown
00:33:48.340 any interest
00:33:49.200 in trying
00:33:50.640 to do something
00:33:51.560 about how
00:33:52.600 their due process
00:33:53.640 rights are being
00:33:54.380 violated,
00:33:55.120 how our justice
00:33:55.860 system is being
00:33:56.660 completely perverted,
00:33:58.080 how the courts
00:33:58.920 are being used
00:33:59.900 as political warfare
00:34:01.160 against their enemies
00:34:02.560 and how these people
00:34:03.720 are being held
00:34:04.340 like political
00:34:04.980 prisoners of war,
00:34:05.900 all pre-trial.
00:34:07.540 They have not
00:34:08.180 even been to court
00:34:09.320 yet.
00:34:10.220 And yeah,
00:34:10.740 no,
00:34:11.020 I'm appalled.
00:34:11.880 They'd rather run
00:34:12.980 away from anything
00:34:15.360 close to the
00:34:16.420 January 6th riot,
00:34:18.220 which was nothing
00:34:18.860 but a simple riot
00:34:19.900 where the only people
00:34:21.060 that were killed
00:34:21.680 were Ashley Babbitt,
00:34:23.140 another woman
00:34:24.260 who was trampled.
00:34:25.740 There still needs
00:34:26.380 to be investigations
00:34:27.240 into her death.
00:34:28.800 And just,
00:34:29.480 it's outrageous.
00:34:30.920 But it's like,
00:34:31.780 if you're not going
00:34:32.440 to do anything
00:34:33.060 or say anything
00:34:33.780 into what's happening
00:34:34.800 to these people,
00:34:35.520 none of us agree
00:34:36.680 with what they did,
00:34:38.260 but it's like,
00:34:38.820 let's stand up
00:34:39.460 for what is right.
00:34:40.240 So I totally
00:34:40.820 agree with you,
00:34:41.460 Lou.
00:34:41.720 It's shocking
00:34:42.460 that they won't do it.
00:34:44.200 Yeah,
00:34:44.440 it's shocking.
00:34:45.700 And it's also shocking
00:34:47.120 that the entire conference
00:34:48.420 wouldn't stand up
00:34:49.680 for President Trump.
00:34:50.840 Throughout his entire
00:34:52.260 administration,
00:34:53.640 they would not rise
00:34:55.080 as one
00:34:55.740 and say,
00:34:57.300 the hell with you people.
00:34:58.840 What are you doing?
00:35:00.720 Just one person
00:35:02.560 doing it,
00:35:03.540 it's wonderful.
00:35:05.760 But why in the world
00:35:07.180 did not the leadership
00:35:08.240 of the Republican Party,
00:35:11.160 whether it was Paul Ryan
00:35:12.460 or Kevin McCarthy,
00:35:13.920 whether it was Mitch McConnell,
00:35:15.860 why is it that they went along?
00:35:19.440 The go-along gang
00:35:20.980 is what the Republican
00:35:22.740 National Committee is,
00:35:24.440 the leadership of both,
00:35:26.460 the GOP leadership
00:35:27.300 of both the House
00:35:28.080 and the Senate.
00:35:29.040 It's an appalling example
00:35:30.640 to the country.
00:35:31.360 And we're talking
00:35:32.480 about these folks
00:35:34.180 who are truly faceless,
00:35:36.180 that you and Gohmert
00:35:37.340 and Gosar
00:35:38.140 and Briggs
00:35:39.820 and a number
00:35:41.140 of other people
00:35:41.880 have stood up for.
00:35:45.120 They're faceless.
00:35:46.980 Donald Trump
00:35:47.840 was the President
00:35:48.500 of the United States
00:35:49.380 and Twitter got away
00:35:50.840 with banning him
00:35:51.900 for life.
00:35:53.540 For life.
00:35:54.660 And nobody stood up
00:35:56.420 as one
00:35:57.280 in that conference.
00:35:59.520 It's disgusting.
00:36:00.920 And it's disgusting
00:36:01.800 because the Democrats
00:36:03.220 carried out
00:36:03.920 a historic crime
00:36:06.240 against this country,
00:36:07.520 against the Trump presidency,
00:36:09.680 against Donald Trump
00:36:10.680 and his family
00:36:11.400 and the American people.
00:36:12.820 It's outrageous.
00:36:13.560 It is outrageous.
00:36:16.120 It is.
00:36:16.460 It's truly outrageous.
00:36:17.620 And that's how people feel.
00:36:19.260 And that's why they feel,
00:36:20.700 you know,
00:36:21.040 people also,
00:36:22.400 as angry they are
00:36:23.440 about inflation
00:36:24.240 and the border
00:36:25.740 and the crime
00:36:27.100 and all the things
00:36:28.460 that are happening,
00:36:29.580 they're also
00:36:30.340 a little bit deflated.
00:36:32.640 People are deflated
00:36:33.460 and just feel like
00:36:35.100 nothing will ever change.
00:36:36.680 Will anybody stop this?
00:36:38.320 Will anything happen?
00:36:39.700 And I think there's
00:36:40.480 a portion of our voters
00:36:41.920 that are disengaging
00:36:43.900 right now.
00:36:44.880 They're disengaging
00:36:45.760 because they don't see
00:36:47.680 enough being done
00:36:49.100 to even give them
00:36:50.820 a reason to want to go vote.
00:36:52.660 I think that
00:36:53.400 if the Republican Party
00:36:54.720 would truly embrace
00:36:55.800 being the American Party,
00:36:57.540 the party for small businesses,
00:36:59.100 families,
00:36:59.720 for workers,
00:37:00.940 for bringing manufacturing
00:37:02.520 back to the United States,
00:37:04.220 making our medicines
00:37:05.060 here in the U.S.,
00:37:06.140 building a strong border wall
00:37:07.520 and actually defending it,
00:37:11.640 caring about our flag
00:37:13.540 and our national anthem
00:37:14.420 and having pride
00:37:15.740 in who we are
00:37:16.320 as Americans all together,
00:37:17.860 rejecting identity politics
00:37:19.420 and telling men
00:37:20.560 to stay out of our bathrooms
00:37:21.700 and our women's sports,
00:37:22.900 if we would identify
00:37:23.820 ourselves as that party,
00:37:25.440 then we would not only
00:37:26.780 give hope to the
00:37:27.700 different voters
00:37:28.720 that are demoralized
00:37:29.680 and want to check out,
00:37:30.920 but bring in more people
00:37:32.480 to vote for us
00:37:33.200 that have never voted before
00:37:34.180 because we would be
00:37:34.980 giving them a reason
00:37:35.860 to care.
00:37:37.260 There's so many people
00:37:38.040 that don't even vote
00:37:38.940 because they just
00:37:39.740 don't see anyone
00:37:40.620 to vote for.
00:37:42.060 President Trump
00:37:42.840 was the first president
00:37:43.880 in a very long time
00:37:47.140 that was inspiring to people.
00:37:48.980 I know he inspired me.
00:37:50.000 That's one of the whole reasons
00:37:50.920 I ran for Congress.
00:37:52.120 I said, finally,
00:37:52.780 there's someone
00:37:53.220 that I can support
00:37:54.080 with ideas I can get behind,
00:37:55.780 but we have to continue that.
00:37:57.320 We have to continue those ideas.
00:37:59.140 We have to continue
00:37:59.920 to carry that torch.
00:38:01.520 And unfortunately,
00:38:02.620 I only see a bunch
00:38:03.700 of my colleagues
00:38:04.360 that just want to talk about it
00:38:05.580 when they're on TV
00:38:06.500 but are unwilling
00:38:08.160 to actually to do it.
00:38:10.040 So we've got to get
00:38:11.060 to work, Lou.
00:38:11.920 You're right.
00:38:13.300 Yeah.
00:38:13.660 And it isn't hard work
00:38:16.120 because all anyone
00:38:17.140 has to do is say,
00:38:18.320 I'm an America first candidate.
00:38:22.520 I mean to put America first
00:38:24.400 in all things
00:38:25.400 and every way.
00:38:26.560 And I am a Trump Republican
00:38:29.520 and the Republican Party
00:38:31.360 is the party of Trump.
00:38:33.400 And if you,
00:38:34.640 I mean, to me,
00:38:35.580 it's a very simple case.
00:38:37.640 And anybody who can't say that
00:38:39.600 has no business
00:38:41.180 being in the Congress
00:38:42.020 of the United States
00:38:42.980 or the Senate
00:38:43.580 of the United States,
00:38:44.560 in my opinion.
00:38:45.680 Of course,
00:38:46.100 I'm a little less than impartial.
00:38:50.340 I agree with you.
00:38:52.060 I love it.
00:38:53.500 You get the last word here,
00:38:55.580 Congresswoman,
00:38:56.460 is our usual way
00:39:00.760 to give our guests
00:39:02.900 the last word.
00:39:04.560 And if you will,
00:39:05.580 your concluding thoughts.
00:39:06.600 Well, thank you so much.
00:39:09.100 Lou, I really greatly
00:39:10.760 appreciate this conversation
00:39:12.200 and I totally agree with you.
00:39:14.340 And I think we're
00:39:15.140 at a critical time in history.
00:39:17.140 And we always say that
00:39:18.200 every election cycle,
00:39:19.120 but boy, this one
00:39:20.100 is getting so scary.
00:39:22.280 And what I need
00:39:23.340 from your listeners
00:39:23.980 that they're willing
00:39:24.640 is their support.
00:39:26.440 mtgforamerica.com,
00:39:27.720 mtgforamerica.com.
00:39:29.580 That's where you can go
00:39:30.800 and support me.
00:39:31.980 I do not get donations
00:39:33.580 from PACs, lobbyists,
00:39:35.560 or special interests.
00:39:36.460 I'm only supported
00:39:37.340 by individual donors
00:39:38.580 and it's mostly
00:39:39.900 the small dollar donors
00:39:41.180 and those are the best ones.
00:39:42.740 I absolutely love them
00:39:44.500 and appreciate them.
00:39:46.120 But the establishment
00:39:47.020 and the rhinos
00:39:48.160 are coming after me.
00:39:49.220 They're sending
00:39:49.700 multiple primary candidates
00:39:51.300 against me,
00:39:52.520 trying to defeat me.
00:39:53.860 But my district loves me
00:39:55.160 and I just need
00:39:56.200 to continue
00:39:57.440 to have the financial support
00:39:58.900 to defend myself
00:39:59.960 in my primary election.
00:40:01.080 and then, of course,
00:40:02.280 going into the general.
00:40:03.840 So I just would ask
00:40:05.260 if anyone's willing
00:40:06.040 to support me
00:40:06.780 at mtgforamerica.com
00:40:08.900 and I'd greatly appreciate it.
00:40:11.420 And I appreciate you
00:40:12.840 being with us today,
00:40:13.960 Congresswoman Green.
00:40:14.960 Thank you very much.
00:40:16.680 I'm sure the audience
00:40:17.560 has been delighted
00:40:18.480 to get to know you better.
00:40:20.380 I know I am.
00:40:21.580 We live in an era
00:40:22.500 in which strong women
00:40:23.540 are the norm
00:40:24.480 and not a rarity,
00:40:26.220 except perhaps
00:40:27.220 in the U.S. Congress,
00:40:28.500 if that woman happens
00:40:29.900 to be Republican,
00:40:31.640 conservative,
00:40:32.720 strong-minded,
00:40:33.680 and strong-willed,
00:40:35.240 a businesswoman,
00:40:36.240 wife, and mother
00:40:37.000 who lives her values.
00:40:38.720 But I'm sure Congress
00:40:40.060 will, in the fullness
00:40:41.180 of times perhaps,
00:40:43.080 learn to adapt
00:40:44.020 to change circumstances
00:40:45.460 and to Congresswoman Green.
00:40:48.440 We wish you
00:40:49.340 the greatest success.
00:40:51.060 And to each of you listening,
00:40:52.540 thank you for being with us.
00:40:54.320 God bless you
00:40:55.120 and God bless America.
00:40:56.980 Join us again tomorrow
00:40:58.240 for the Great America podcast.
00:41:00.360 Stay in the fight.
00:41:01.320 Truth, justice,
00:41:02.360 and the American way
00:41:03.140 will prevail
00:41:03.960 against all enemies,
00:41:05.520 against all odds.
