00:01:18.340 Hello everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs and welcome to The Great America Show. Great to have you with us

00:01:23.080 today. The U.S. Navy in skirmishes in the Red Sea this week. Three commercial ships off the coast

00:01:30.000 of Yemen were fired on by Iran-backed Houthi rebels. The USS Kearney, a Navy destroyer in the area at the

00:01:36.920 time of the firefight and successfully taking down three drones that were presumed to be ready to launch

00:01:43.120 more ballistic missiles at those commercial ships. U.S. Central Command released a statement following

00:01:49.080 the attacks saying that the United States will now, quote, consider all appropriate responses in the

00:01:55.040 wake of the attack taking specific aim at Iran. All the disruption in the Middle East and conflict

00:02:01.460 comes at a time when America needs to stand strong with our ally Israel, which makes the recent bizarre 0.87

00:02:08.420 comments of the Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, all the more insulting to Israel. Austin, in a speech

00:02:15.580 at the Reagan National Defense Forum, shocked the audience when Austin told them that Israel risks,

00:02:22.160 quote, strategic defeat if civilians aren't protected in Gaza. This as the Israeli Defense Forces are

00:02:30.720 fighting for their sovereignty and their survival. Listen to Defense Secretary Austin as he goes off the

00:02:37.160 rails and out of his lane, way out of his lane. You see, in this kind of a fight, the center of gravity

00:02:43.500 is the civilian population. And if you drive them into the arms of the enemy, you replace a tactical

00:02:49.840 victory with a strategic defeat. So I have repeatedly made clear to Israel's leaders that protecting

00:02:57.600 Palestinian civilians in Gaza is both a moral responsibility and a strategic imperative.

00:03:05.020 I think we see now why the Biden regime tries to keep Lloyd Austin out of public statements.

00:03:11.580 Another man you hear us talk a lot about here is the villainous Marxist oligarch George Soros

00:03:17.200 and the role that he has been playing for decades in disrupting and devastating civil order throughout

00:03:23.080 the world. Israeli United Nations Ambassador Gilad Erdogan had enough of Soros this week,

00:03:29.820 calling him out for funding Hamas supporting NGOs with more than $15 million in backing. Erdogan

00:03:37.840 telling Fox that Soros' donations to organizations that seek the destruction of the state of Israel

00:03:44.180 is shameful but unsurprising. I applaud the ambassador for his courage in speaking out

00:03:50.040 against the sinister George Soros. Our guest today is one of the most courageous public servants on

00:03:57.060 Capitol Hill. She is one of the most hardest-working public servants and certainly senators. We are

00:04:03.480 joined today by Senator Marsha Blackburn. And Senator, it is great to have you with us. Let's start with the

00:04:09.000 Hamas war on Israel and the Biden regime to the Israeli war to end Hamas in Gaza. And, of course,

00:04:17.840 his support of Netanyahu in this war. You know, Lou, what we have to do is send a message that we,

00:04:26.840 the United States of America, stand resolutely and solidly with Israel. And they need to know Hamas 0.97

00:04:37.840 and Iran, which is a part of funding Hamas and Hezbollah and ISIS, Iraq, ISIS, Syria. They need to know

00:04:47.200 that we are going to be there for Israel and that we support Israel's right to defend themselves and

00:04:54.160 their people and that we support Israel's right to do what they need to do to eliminate Hamas.

00:05:01.900 Are you surprised that in the midst of the agony following the October 7th massacre,

00:05:10.000 Israelis mourning, raging to fight, that President Biden would start talking about a two-state solution?

00:05:19.960 It was a remarkable moment.

00:05:22.840 You know, I think it was a puzzling moment for so many people because Hamas attacked Israel

00:05:31.660 and they had planned this attack. Iran had helped to train these Hamas fighters and it was an

00:05:42.320 unprovoked attack. And it wasn't an attack against an army. It was an attack against the citizens and

00:05:51.200 individuals in their homes. And yesterday I watched this footage that was pulled from the GoPro cameras

00:05:59.280 of these Hamas fighters who the IDF were able to kill and confiscate these cameras. It is sickening 0.52

00:06:08.020 what they did with shooting people using hammers and hatchets and just chopping people up in the trail of blood 0.59

00:06:20.200 that you would see where they dragged people out of houses. And it is just truly war crimes that have been

00:06:31.860 committed against innocent civilians. And we don't need a ceasefire. We don't need to give Hamas time to 0.95

00:06:42.860 regroup. We do not need to be sending aid into Gaza because we know that Hamas is taking that aid. 0.55

00:06:53.260 They're taking that fuel. They're taking the food. They're taking the medical supplies. And the Gazans, 0.89

00:07:00.400 the Palestinians are not getting those supplies. So people need to be moving to the south, 1.00

00:07:07.600 to the Rafa gate, where there is aid for people that are hurting and hungry and in need of fuel.

00:07:18.700 That is where they need to be going and getting out of harm's way.

00:07:24.160 Yeah, it's such a sad and tragic moment for the Israelis. Also, they're filled with anger to 1.00

00:07:32.340 respond, and rightfully so. Bibi Netanyahu needs the support of President Biden. He's not getting it.

00:07:41.340 As a matter of fact.

00:07:42.720 Yes. And Lou, we don't need to be trying to micromanage this war.

00:07:47.360 Right. Absolutely.

00:07:48.140 What we need to do is make certain that we pass an Israel aid bill. And I agree with the House on their

00:07:57.540 bill. I agree with taking that money that was set aside for IRS agents and paying for this so that

00:08:03.980 we're not adding to our debt. But the IDF and Benjamin Netanyahu do not need the United States

00:08:14.140 of America trying to micromanage this war. Let's let the IDF and Israel eliminate Hamas from the face 0.70

00:08:23.520 of the earth. Let's send this message to these other terrorist groups that if they do something 0.83

00:08:29.560 like this, we are going to hunt them down and we are going to rid the earth of them.

00:08:37.460 Well, and that is precisely what I believe Israel will do after this this peculiar phrase phase is

00:08:47.380 ended here where apparently the world suddenly wants to think of Joe Biden as a great statesman

00:08:53.880 and a warrior president. They forget his withdrawal from Afghanistan. Senator, I want to turn to an

00:09:01.820 extraordinary situation that we have, and that is a president who is ignoring the Supreme Court,

00:09:08.060 sending out literature to 800,000 student loan recipients as if there has never been a

00:09:15.940 adjudication on the issue of student loan forgiveness. He's acting in violation again of the Supreme Court's

00:09:26.420 ruling. He's also shown nothing but contempt for the affirmative action ruling as if he's not going to follow

00:09:33.420 that, nor should anyone else have to. I mean, the list goes on. How in the world is there going to be a

00:09:40.840 republic if this president and the Marxist Dems, whether in the House or the Senate or the deep

00:09:47.320 state, are continuing to ignore the Constitution and our system of government?

00:09:53.320 Yes. And one of the things that I have noticed regularly about this administration, Lou, is they have

00:10:03.200 tried their hardest to normalize lawlessness. And we have seen this in the people they have sent for

00:10:11.840 to us to be confirmed as judges. We are seeing it in this defund the police movement. We are seeing it in

00:10:21.640 the police. And they're not pushing back on crime in the cities. And we've seen it with these DAs and

00:10:30.660 prosecutors that are soft on crime. We have seen it with this open southern border. And they're doing

00:10:39.640 everything they can to normalize lawlessness. Now, the American people are waking up to this.

00:10:49.520 They can see what's happening at the border. They can go online if they doubt what they're hearing

00:10:56.240 on TV. They can go and look at the Texas Department of Public Safety. They can look at the governor of

00:11:04.160 Arizona, their web page. They can look at the Texas web page. They can go to so many different outlets

00:11:10.960 and see people streaming across this border. They can listen to blue city mayors like Eric Adams.

00:11:18.400 And they can see what's happening in Chicago, in Philadelphia, where these big blue city mayors

00:11:25.340 are saying, hey, wait a minute, somebody needs to stop this. Well, those are the guys that declared

00:11:30.860 themselves sanctuary cities. And they sent the message, come on, if the border is open, you can

00:11:37.620 come here. We're a sanctuary city. But people are saying, wait a minute, I'm a citizen of the United

00:11:45.160 States. I'm paying taxes. And you've taken over my kids playground, or you have taken the gym at their

00:11:53.740 school, or we can't get medical services in our community because of the influx of those that have

00:12:01.220 illegally entered the country. And so people are saying, stop this with the violation of the rule of

00:12:11.100 law, enforce the law. And let's protect our communities. And let's restore law and order.

00:12:20.180 Let's restore a vibrant economy, which President Donald Trump had given us. Let's restore an appreciation

00:12:30.980 for the values that have made this country great. Let's protect our faith, family, freedom, hope,

00:12:39.900 opportunity. We hear it every day. And I think the American people are indeed waking up to what is

00:12:48.340 happening to their freedoms and what is happening in this country.

00:12:51.640 We're talking with Senator Marsha Blackburn, in my opinion, one of the most courageous senators in

00:12:57.600 the Republican conference of the U.S. Senate. We'll be right back with her. Don't touch that dial.

00:13:09.500 We're back now talking with Senator Marsha Blackburn. And Senator, again, great to talk with you.

00:13:14.600 I want to turn to the Judiciary Committee itself now. Is there any plan for the Judiciary Committee

00:13:23.400 to do something to rein in, to discipline, to bring back activists, Marxist-dem judges into some

00:13:32.540 semblance of an appreciation for the republic, its laws, and our system of government?

00:13:38.840 Well, you know, we've been successful in making certain that some of those judges who were not

00:13:46.840 qualified at all to be on the federal bench, that their nomination was recalled and they have not

00:13:54.660 gone through. But as I say regularly, that this White House, Joe Biden and this White House,

00:14:03.300 continues to send people for the federal bench, federal district, and federal appellate judges

00:14:11.060 who have never been a judge for one minute. They have not been a state judge. They have not been a city

00:14:19.640 judge. They have not been a county judge. They have not been a judge for the pie contest at the county fair.

00:14:26.660 They've never been a judge. They have been an activist. And to put someone on the federal appellate

00:14:37.400 bench who has never been a judge, who has never practiced appellate law, who has never briefed the

00:14:46.140 court, that is inappropriate. And you don't want people on the bench who do not have a respect for the

00:14:55.700 rule of law and are not going to enforce the law. You don't want activists on the court.

00:15:01.540 Well, the two names, you know, Meryl Howell, Tanya Chutkin, federal judges and the D.C. courts.

00:15:10.980 I mean, they are they're contemptuous of law. They're acting, as you put it, lawless Marxists.

00:15:16.620 And it is a frustration to us. This is why we do so much work on the vetting process and the reading

00:15:25.500 process and question these individuals and submit questions, because once they're confirmed to the

00:15:32.960 federal bench, that is a lifetime appointment. And to have people who are activists actually take those

00:15:41.820 federal judgeships, you know, it just shows you why we owe that debt of gratitude to President Donald

00:15:49.160 Trump for the judges that he put on the bench and the fact that they are constitutionalists.

00:15:57.640 They are they are individuals that have a judicial philosophy. There are people that have that

00:16:04.100 constitutional appreciation and underpinning. You know, I want to turn to a moment of real courage on

00:16:11.060 your part when you insisted in the Judiciary Committee that subpoenas be sent out to find out

00:16:20.280 who was using the Lolita Express going to Epstein Island. We still don't know all this time later

00:16:28.240 exactly what happened with him. And under federal correction, the Federal Bureau of Prisons custody,

00:16:37.500 whether he died of natural causes by his own hand or natural causes by an assassin.

00:16:45.720 Well, they're saying they're going to come back with those subpoenas. I said, fine,

00:16:50.720 I've already filed my amendments. And as you mentioned, one is to subpoena the Epstein estate

00:16:58.280 for the entire listing of flight logs for all of his planes in the Lolita Express. We want to know who

00:17:08.120 was picked up, where they were picked up, how long they stayed at that island, and be able to see who

00:17:16.920 participated in this. I've had people say, look, if there was someone from a company that they're working

00:17:24.220 with, they would want to know that someone was a participant in what is turning out to be a very

00:17:32.280 highly orchestrated sex trafficking, human trafficking ring. And Jelaine Maxwell, who was a, I guess,

00:17:43.640 kind of the leader in grooming, selecting and grooming these young girls. And as we focus on the human 0.58

00:17:52.340 trafficking and sex trafficking issues, we want answers to this. So yes, I do have my subpoena

00:18:00.900 amendment filed. I also have an amendment that would subpoena Justice Sotomayor's staff. She got a $3

00:18:13.120 million book advance, not reported. Then we found out through news reporting that her court staff

00:18:21.920 had participated in selling these books to entities where she was going to speak. She has made $4 million

00:18:30.180 on this book deal. We would like to see those emails and those records. So we have that subpoena.

00:18:37.760 Also a subpoena for DOJ and the FTC on emails pertaining to, and documents pertaining to,

00:18:46.860 the investigation into Elon Musk. And then Lou, one that I know you would be interested in,

00:18:54.360 I have an amendment that would subpoena all the White House documents pertaining to the elimination

00:19:01.200 of the China initiative, which was our way to investigate and prosecute Chinese spies that are on U.S.

00:19:09.600 soil. Well, I'm interested in everything that you've just said. And you're quite correct.

00:19:16.160 Your interest in China is to be applauded by every American at all that you're doing.

00:19:21.700 You're very courageous. You're very smart. And we thank you for all that you're doing for the country.

00:19:28.760 Senator Marsha Blackburn, thanks for being with us here. We always give our guests the last word.

00:19:34.480 And your concluding thoughts, Senator? You know, people can follow me at Marsha Blackburn

00:19:40.000 online and stay in touch with us. Keep up with the work that we are doing. And

00:19:46.060 tune in to C-SPAN when we do these Judiciary Committee hearings. I think they'll find them

00:19:51.900 quite entertaining. Thanks to Senator Blackburn. Thanks, everybody, for being with us today.

00:19:56.720 Our guest here tomorrow on The Great America Show is a man at the forefront of the congressional

00:20:02.040 investigations into the corruption of President Biden and his entire regime, also his family.

00:20:10.080 Joining us will be Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and the

00:20:14.160 Weaponization Subcommittee. We'll be taking up what are the next steps as this Congress moves toward

00:20:20.840 an impeachment of Joe Biden. Please join us for that tomorrow and each and every day.

00:20:26.080 Follow me on Twitter and Truth Social at Lou Dobbs. That's at Lou Dobbs. Thanks, everybody.

00:20:31.360 God bless you. And may God bless America.
