On this episode of the Great America Show, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) joins host Lou Dobbs to discuss the latest in the ongoing saga of the border crisis, the hearings, and the proposed border wall with Mexico.
00:05:27.660Now, he tried to clear that up on Fox News on Sunday morning.
00:05:31.120And he says, well, we know they're detained.
00:05:33.300You know, but it was it was a little unclear if there some of them had been released.
00:05:39.280Now, I hope that's not the case, but he wasn't super definitive on it.
00:05:42.460And so that to me is shocking that the Secretary of Homeland Security comes to a hearing in front of the Judiciary Committee and can't answer the fundamental question on where are the 42 individuals?
00:06:09.640And this is this is information he should know and should be demanding answers of his people, I would think, daily to find out where they are, because they represent a clear and present danger to the United States.
00:06:26.640No, I was just going to say, Lou, I was a little reluctant to ask the question because I thought, you know, if I asked that question, he you would expect him to say, well, what are you stupid congressman?
00:06:35.680And of course, we know where these 42 people who are illegal migrants who show up on our southern border, who are on the terrorist watch list.
00:06:44.620But he did, which was kind of shocking.
00:06:46.960Like, you don't know the answer to that sort of basic question.
00:06:51.620It's frankly why I waited till the end of my five minute time period and asked it right at the end because I thought, well, you know, just just to be sure.
00:06:57.180And I was like, holy cow, this is how bad this guy is.
00:07:01.720And then you couple that with the intentional.
00:07:04.340I mean, think about what they said, Lou.
00:07:05.940The Biden administration said we're going to end deportation.
00:07:08.940We're going to put a moratorium on deportation.
00:07:11.820They announced before he even was sworn in as president that they would stop building the wall.
00:07:16.240They ended the remain in Mexico policy and they got rid of the agreements with the northern triangle countries.
00:07:20.580And next month, they're going to get rid of Title 42, which has been the one thing that's helped us to keep a chaotic situation from being even more chaotic.
00:07:27.400So in essence, what they're saying to an illegal migrant is come to our border.
00:07:31.780You won't have to remain in Mexico while we check your asylum claim out.
00:08:54.280Those numbers, over four years, what they're going to have in this administration come into the country, that's going to be a bigger number than most of our states.
00:09:03.680I mean, our state of Ohio population, about close to 12 million people.
00:09:09.040So if you get six, eight million, and we're the seventh largest state, there are most of our states don't reach the six, eight million mark.
00:09:15.340That is how the scale that they are doing.
00:09:20.660And we all understand Republicans, legal immigration, we're for legal immigration.
00:09:26.460People who follow the law, follow the rules, come here.
00:09:29.260When individuals who come to this country who want to chase down their goals and dreams, do it legally, God bless them.
00:09:34.680But Democrats are for illegal immigration.
00:10:47.040And you're right, because it goes back to that point.
00:10:49.020People who come here legally, they appreciate what this country offers its citizens and how great this nation is, the greatest country ever.
00:10:55.260But they're tired of the illegal immigration and the drugs and all the other problems that come when you let the cartels do what they want and you give them just, as Secretary Clinton said six years ago when she ran for president, a borderless hemisphere.
00:11:09.320When you allow that policy to happen, which is what they've done, you get all kinds of – that's what the Democrat mayor of McAllen, Texas, is talking about how bad the Biden policies are.
00:11:22.380So let's hope that's the case and that Hispanics are, in fact, going to report or support a party that is actually for the rule of law.
00:11:31.000The Republican Party is now the party, thanks to Donald Trump, the party of working women, their families, the middle class, and – excuse me – entrepreneurs and small business people.
00:11:49.080And what I can't stand any more than you can is to see what this administration has done to all the accomplishments of the Trump administration on that border.
00:12:03.400They've pushed back the Mexican government, which President Trump had succeeded in creating a partnership with Manuel Lopez Obrador, where there was unprecedented security, at least for the last 30 years, on that border.
00:12:18.880They've rolled back every policy that they've rolled back of President Trump has led to the bad outcomes.
00:12:24.380When you increase regulation like crazy like they're doing, when you spend like crazy like they're doing, you get 41-year high inflation.
00:12:33.860And when you do the bad energy policy, stop the pipeline, stop drilling in ANWR, reduce the number of leases you allow on federal land, you drive up the cost of energy, which is why we have $4 gas everywhere, $6 gas in California.
00:12:45.280And energy, of course, drives up inflation.
00:12:47.900When you defund the police and you attack our law enforcement like they've done, when you call rioters and looters peaceful protesters, you get more crime, which is what we've seen.
00:12:57.740And, of course, when you do what they've done on the border, you get the crazy things we've been talking about on the border.
00:13:03.640And then, of course, when you project weakness from the Oval Office, you get the bad outcomes foreign policy.
00:13:08.580So all the bad stuff we're seeing is because they've directly went against the policies that President Trump had in place.
00:13:14.880And it's why we're it's it's why where you started.
00:13:17.480It's that little lady in a town hall in the 4th District of Ohio said to me, you know, how could it get this bad this quick?
00:13:24.780But that's why, because they've undone all the good policies that were there in the Trump administration across the board.
00:13:30.900And your point that this is all intentional, this is by design, on the part of this, I consider him, I know he is a puppet president, Joe Biden, because he's obviously impaired.
00:13:47.060Donald Trump in a rally calling for him again to have a cognitive test, which Donald Trump took.
00:13:53.440Why is what are they afraid of to have the president of the United States, who is obviously a mess, let's be honest, and at times utterly incoherent and lost?
00:14:15.340It's actually sad, obviously, for the country.
00:14:17.580But also, I'm I feel bad for for President Biden, because, you know, that that that video footage of him in the White House with former President Obama, and he's sort of walking around like a kid who's who doesn't have any friends on the playground.
00:14:32.960I mean, I truly feel you feel you just feel bad.
00:14:37.840You feel sad for him and his family, frankly.
00:14:41.680But I mean, I was someone asked me this question today.
00:14:43.960I was given a speech earlier and they asked me, like, who's in charge?
00:14:46.880It's one of the questions I get most often because, you know, they see the concerns that we all see.
00:14:52.280And I jokingly said, I think it's the Easter Bunny, because remember, it was the Easter Bunny who stopped him from taking the question on the rope line there.
00:14:57.720But again, just just even even being, you know, humorous about this is like is wrong, too, because it's so real.
00:15:06.580And what it means for the country when the commander in chief, so many people have these concerns.
00:15:15.280You know, I actually don't know who is is is actually making the decisions.
00:15:20.120But it's a real concern for for for the whole nation, as we've talked about.
00:15:24.220When you watch that that room in the White House with Obama there and the lost kid, Joe Biden, it looked for all the world like that third term for Obama was clear, clear and present at that moment.
00:15:44.440It is there's no question that there is somewhere unseen a group of puppet masters running the country.
00:15:54.260I just I can't I cannot imagine a more dangerous moment than right now with this man, the titular head of the United States and commander in chief.
00:16:07.040It's a very frightening prospect, it's a very frightening prospect, given all the the threats that we face.
00:16:10.980I want to turn to your reaction to John Durham and the investigation that he is moving ahead with.
00:16:19.660The fact the facts that he is introducing into his motions, his filings are revelatory and condemning of the corruption of not only Hunter Biden, but the Biden family.
00:16:33.100Well, yeah, I mean, there's there's there's concerns there.
00:16:38.500There's concerns with what with what happened with the campaign, you know, the idea that it was, in fact, spying.
00:16:44.880It looks like that's fine. Some of the filings term is done.
00:16:46.960The spying took place, you know, not only when it was president or excuse me, when it was the campaign Trump campaign, but when it was president elect Trump and maybe even when it was president Trump.
00:16:57.360So there's those concerns there. Then you couple that with what they did, big tech, big media, Democrat Party suppressing a story that would have had, I think, implications for the presidential race in a major way.
00:17:12.780If the country would have got to have seen the Hunter Biden story, which we now know everything about that, that we that we suspected and thought 18 months ago is is and was true.
00:17:23.140But they kept that information from us based on and this is the part that bugs me.
00:17:27.580The so-called experts, 51 former intelligence officials, including six heads of the CIA, former heads of the CIA telling us, oh, this has all the all the earmarks and hallmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign.
00:17:39.480Baloney, it was the truth. But that one letter became the basis for big tech platforms and the media to keep that information from we the people just days before the most important election we have.
00:17:51.100Who's going to be our next commander in chief? And so that's that's the frustrating part that I think the country now and now we see what Biden has done to the country.
00:17:58.880We're like, holy cow, it's been nice to have that information out there for every single voter to evaluate.
00:18:03.580Yeah. And also to know, again, that it was a plot to overthrow the president.
00:18:10.060It was a plot to stop his candidacy. It's a plot to remove him from from the political life in this country through January 6th.
00:18:22.540They have conjured up another hoax and it's disgusting.
00:18:26.220They've been out to get this President Trump since before he was in office all the time he was in office.
00:18:33.900And now that he's left, they're out to get him because they don't want him to run again.
00:18:37.320And it is so obvious. I mean, the impeachment based on the anonymous whistleblower that only Adam Schiff got to know about in the country,
00:18:44.840we didn't the secret hearings in the bunker before that it was the Russia, Russia, Russia, Mueller report and all that stuff they did.
00:18:50.380They're all based on now made up information. I mean, the latest Durham filing says that it was user created.
00:18:56.680That is a fancy way of saying they made it all up. The Clinton campaign made it all up and everyone ran with it.
00:19:03.060That, you know, the FBI and, of course, the mainstream media. So there's there's that.
00:19:09.100And then, of course, as you say, what they're doing now with the January 6th committee is to is all designed to try to keep President Trump off the 2024 ballot.
00:19:16.720Do you think do you think that Hunter Biden will ever be held to account?
00:19:21.800It's taken four years for a grand jury in Delaware to get nowhere.
00:19:26.580We're hearing from people that I who I respect Peter Schweitzer as an investigative reporter.
00:19:34.120He's just he's a great American. And I think the country's best investigative reporter.
00:19:39.720I just don't see anything there that's going to come forward before this election.
00:19:45.980Your thoughts on it? Yeah, I don't know.
00:19:48.500I do know that, you know, it was about four or five weeks ago.
00:19:52.320The Washington Post runs two articles at one at two eight page articles, one at 11, one at 11.04 a.m.
00:20:02.520So they do two long articles, four minutes apart, talking about how the laptop is real and what's going on.
00:20:09.700So that's an about face. That's 180 degree turn from where they were 18 months ago.
00:20:15.040Something caused them to do that. I don't know what that is.
00:20:19.300Some people have speculated they think an indictment is coming.
00:20:23.420But again, we'll have to see. So I don't know if we ever get to the bottom of it.
00:20:28.500But I do think it's interesting that you have the mainstream press and someone of the, you know, the Washington Post, you know,
00:20:34.900a key left wing paper that is is making that doing those kind of articles.
00:20:40.400Like I said, long articles, four minutes apart after being after being 180 degrees different 18 months ago.
00:20:47.180And with Hunter Biden and with all of the implications, if it doesn't happen before the election, that will be further, further shame.
00:20:57.940But also that that this this family, the Biden family continues to avoid accountability.
00:21:09.600I've never seen the like of of this, because at least as far as we know, we have been seeing the like of it because the names are out in public now.
00:21:18.000I can't imagine this this president escaping without great accountability.
00:21:25.320We know that what is being done in terms of policy is driven by Marxist left ideology.
00:21:34.320And he is a tool of a very sinister force that would do this to the country.
00:21:39.060Yeah. And I think I think one of the things that that is interesting is is how the story has changed, you know, with with the whole Biden family.
00:21:49.380You know, I said initially 18 months ago, the left told us in the mainstream press and all told us that, oh, the laptop wasn't real.
00:21:55.880You know, it's Russian disinformation. Then they sort of say, well, no, the laptop is real, but it's fully Russian disinformation.
00:22:00.380And then it was, well, no, no, it's not really Russian disinformation. But but President Biden had no knowledge and nothing to do with it.
00:22:07.380And now it's like, oh, well, President Biden knew kind of what was going on, but he didn't do anything wrong.
00:22:12.560And since even that over the last several weeks, it's like, well, he met with the, you know, Hunter Biden's business partner, like 20 some times in the White House or whatever that number is.
00:22:23.900It's some big number. It's like suddenly the story keeps changing. So we'll see if he's if the president has any real knowledge or any any culpability here.
00:22:33.700I don't think that he does yet, but there's there's certainly some concerns that I think raise all kinds of questions that we'll have to get to the bottom of his.
00:22:43.720It looks as if President Biden and perhaps the Biden family, if you will, is compromised through their dealings with China and the Chinese, the CCP's inventory of companies doing business with the with the Bidens.
00:23:02.420But now we learn a Russian oligarch with close ties to Putin was actually meeting with Hunter Biden.
00:23:09.160And this is thanks to the Daily Mail's investigative reporting in Moscow over potential investment deals and then meeting twice more in New York and D.C.
00:23:19.700And guess what? That oligarch has been sanctioned by the U.K., but not by the U.S. Biden led government.
00:23:28.860I mean, it's it's the smell just gets stronger and stronger about the compromise possibilities for this family.
00:23:38.880Yeah. And again, we don't we don't know, but it is interesting.
00:23:43.000You know, the one thing I remember as well is during the debate in the 2020 race is Joe Biden said in one of the debates, he said, you know, I didn't have any involvement.
00:23:51.260My son didn't have any involvement with with companies with with ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
00:23:55.480And it's just like, as I've said many times, there are four point eight million reasons why that statement's not accurate, because it's been reported now that Hunter Biden was paid.
00:24:03.880Hunter Biden and his uncle, James Biden, were paid four point eight million dollars in a year's time to from from CEFC, the big energy company in China.
00:24:13.420So that statement that the president made in the debate and, you know, as we're getting ready to elect the commander in chief, the presidential election is absolutely not true.
00:24:24.240So we'll just have to we'll just have to wait and see.
00:24:27.140And are you confident that the Republicans right now are going to, as you said, start at the beginning point of this is a an intentional administration, intentional and it's devastation of our border, intentional and it's import of of illegal immigrants and intentional in its acts that are directly against the interests and values.
00:24:56.720Well, it's certainly certainly on the border, certainly on economic policies, it's intentional what they're doing.
00:25:05.580Again, I don't know how anyone with common sense could could reach a different conclusion.
00:25:09.540And, you know, and remember what Secretary Mayorkas said a year ago, September, he is testifying in front of Congress a year ago, and he says that or last September, he says that the border is secure and we are executing our plan.
00:25:27.140Now, think about that statement. The border is secure and we are executing our plan.
00:25:30.120The first statement is absolutely false. The second part of the statement is true.
00:25:37.000They're they're executing a plan to overwhelm our country with more illegal migrants at our southern border than ever in the history of this nation.
00:25:45.580So that's the frightening part is when he tells us, oh, the borders. We know that's not true.
00:25:50.960We got we can see with our own darn eyes. But but when he says the second part, we are executing our plan.
00:25:57.100He's being honest with us now there. He's telling the truth there. And that should scare us even more.
00:26:02.320So we know when it comes to the border that this is absolutely intentional what they're doing.
