00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs, and welcome to The Great America Show.
00:00:04.860 We're beginning this week with, as usual, extraordinary events.
00:00:10.000 That's no longer contradictory language in America under this administration.
00:00:14.860 The unthinkable in previous administrations is now normal.
00:00:19.100 Gone is the wall. All but gone is the Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
00:00:25.340 And the border is now more concept than reality.
00:00:28.920 For the Biden regime, the southern border is really nothing more than a 2,000-mile-long nuisance,
00:00:35.700 an impediment to the goals of the Marxist left Dems, who pulled the strings of this puppet president.
00:00:42.600 The Marxist puppeteers, obviously, are anti-America.
00:00:46.500 Their objective is to destroy America, to demonize and ultimately destroy our values, 0.63
00:00:53.040 our Judeo-Christian culture, our American heritage, our way of life.
00:00:57.780 They mean to destroy individualism, the American family, and to replace our constitutional republic 0.90
00:01:04.800 with what will be a totalitarian Marxist system of government
00:01:08.940 that will fit neatly into the globalist elite's concept of a one-world order.
00:01:14.900 Why else would the Biden regime and the FBI carry out 3.4 million illegal searches last year,
00:01:23.200 warrantless searches of the data of American citizens?
00:01:27.160 Because they know they can, that's why.
00:01:29.940 Without congressional oversight, interference by any other agency,
00:01:34.340 and without fear of punishment or consequence.
00:01:37.080 Why would the Biden regime also, in reckless contempt of our Constitution,
00:01:43.300 create a governmental agency, for crying out loud, to regulate free speech?
00:01:48.560 An anti-American totalitarian agency with the Orwellian title of Disinformation Governance Board.
00:01:57.420 That's a beauty, isn't it?
00:01:59.020 And why would the Department of Homeland Security do everything in its power and more
00:02:06.000 to eliminate border protection for the nation, for all Americans?
00:02:11.000 DHS Secretary Mayorkas has pulled back the Border Patrol from the border,
00:02:16.860 invited and incentivized millions of illegals to cross our border,
00:02:21.240 and given them transportation, shelter, phones, and financial support,
00:02:26.980 and once across what was just a year and a half ago,
00:02:30.300 a secure national border protecting Americans and assuring our national sovereignty.
00:02:36.300 It is all part of the plan, and the result will be, at best,
00:02:40.740 a vastly diminished nation if America can survive all of this
00:02:45.740 and whatever else the Biden regime has in mind for all of us.
00:02:50.660 Our guest today is Congressman Jim Jordan.
00:02:53.620 He's a great American.
00:02:55.300 The Ohio Congressman sets the standard for integrity,
00:02:58.800 respect for our Constitution, our nation, and yes, our people.
00:03:03.520 Jordan is an America first Republican, and he is a staunch ally of President Trump.
00:03:10.100 And now here is Congressman Jim Jordan.
00:03:12.500 Congressman, always great to have you with us here on The Great America Show.
00:03:16.160 I'm just going to start with watching you.
00:03:19.080 You're questioning of Mayorkas, all that is going on in this country right now.
00:03:24.440 Did you ever, for a moment, and any time in your career,
00:03:29.500 think that we would see this country get in this bad of shape this quickly?
00:03:35.320 No.
00:03:36.040 No, it's a great question.
00:03:37.840 It's funny you say it, too, Luke, because I had an older lady in a town hall meeting a few months back,
00:03:43.380 and she started getting tears in her eyes when she asked the very same thing.
00:03:46.800 Well, she didn't ask it.
00:03:47.520 She stated, she said, I never thought it could get this bad, this fast, this quick.
00:03:53.240 And literally, her eyes were getting, you know, she was getting glassy-eyed because she loved this country.
00:03:58.720 We know what this country means to, you know, the freedoms it offers its citizens, the greatest nation ever.
00:04:03.400 And to see it done, you know, what's happened to the country in 15, 16 months.
00:04:09.760 And it's literally intentional because, you know, the border certainly is.
00:04:14.300 We talked about that in last week's hearing.
00:04:15.740 But everything else, the policies they put in place are intentionally creating the chaos that we are witnessing,
00:04:21.140 both foreign policy-wise and, of course, economically and on our southern border.
00:04:25.220 And that southern border, you're talking with Secretary Mayorkas, you asked him directly, specifically, forthrightly,
00:04:35.460 for data related to border security, immigration.
00:04:40.600 And have you heard from him?
00:04:43.420 Any of the questions you had?
00:04:45.260 Have any of them been answered?
00:04:46.340 No, great point, because we even sent him a letter ahead of time saying, look, we've seen you in other hearings.
00:04:52.380 This is the first time you're coming in front of the judiciary, even though we've been asking for you for a year.
00:04:55.560 You're finally coming.
00:04:56.480 We expect you to be prepared to answer our questions in depth and have it.
00:05:00.100 But he couldn't answer one of the most fundamental questions we had.
00:05:03.180 You know, you think about the three top priorities for the Department of Homeland Security.
00:05:07.060 Number one is prevent terrorism, help the country prevent terrorism.
00:05:09.660 Number two is secure the border.
00:05:10.860 Number three is enforce immigration law.
00:05:12.400 Well, we know they're not doing two and three.
00:05:14.640 And number one, I ask him a straightforward question.
00:05:18.200 42 people encountering migrants encountered at our southern border are on the terrorist watch list.
00:05:23.600 What is the status of those individuals?
00:05:25.220 And he didn't know.
00:05:26.520 He couldn't tell us.
00:05:27.660 Now, he tried to clear that up on Fox News on Sunday morning.
00:05:31.120 And he says, well, we know they're detained.
00:05:33.300 You know, but it was it was a little unclear if there some of them had been released.
00:05:39.280 Now, I hope that's not the case, but he wasn't super definitive on it.
00:05:42.460 And so that to me is shocking that the Secretary of Homeland Security comes to a hearing in front of the Judiciary Committee and can't answer the fundamental question on where are the 42 individuals?
00:05:56.020 I asked him straight up.
00:05:57.060 I said, are any of them in the country?
00:05:58.620 He says, I'll have to get back to do that on the status of these 42 people.
00:06:01.920 So, again, he's not it.
00:06:04.440 He's certainly not doing mission two and three.
00:06:06.780 And you got some concerns about mission one.
00:06:08.600 When do you get an answer like that?
00:06:09.640 And this is this is information he should know and should be demanding answers of his people, I would think, daily to find out where they are, because they represent a clear and present danger to the United States. 0.99
00:06:23.360 And by the way, I'm sorry, go ahead.
00:06:26.240 Yeah. 1.00
00:06:26.640 No, I was just going to say, Lou, I was a little reluctant to ask the question because I thought, you know, if I asked that question, he you would expect him to say, well, what are you stupid congressman? 0.96
00:06:35.680 And of course, we know where these 42 people who are illegal migrants who show up on our southern border, who are on the terrorist watch list. 0.98
00:06:41.420 We wouldn't let him in.
00:06:42.880 We're nowhere we're going to do that.
00:06:44.620 But he did, which was kind of shocking.
00:06:46.960 Like, you don't know the answer to that sort of basic question.
00:06:51.620 It's frankly why I waited till the end of my five minute time period and asked it right at the end because I thought, well, you know, just just to be sure.
00:06:57.180 And I was like, holy cow, this is how bad this guy is.
00:07:01.720 And then you couple that with the intentional.
00:07:04.340 I mean, think about what they said, Lou.
00:07:05.940 The Biden administration said we're going to end deportation.
00:07:08.940 We're going to put a moratorium on deportation.
00:07:10.780 He announced that day one.
00:07:11.820 They announced before he even was sworn in as president that they would stop building the wall.
00:07:16.240 They ended the remain in Mexico policy and they got rid of the agreements with the northern triangle countries.
00:07:20.580 And next month, they're going to get rid of Title 42, which has been the one thing that's helped us to keep a chaotic situation from being even more chaotic.
00:07:27.400 So in essence, what they're saying to an illegal migrant is come to our border.
00:07:31.780 You won't have to remain in Mexico while we check your asylum claim out.
00:07:36.020 There's no wall for you to get over.
00:07:37.860 There's no way we're going to deport you.
00:07:39.720 You're going to get to go wherever you want to go in the United States of America.
00:07:43.360 We're going to let you stay.
00:07:44.520 You're never going to be sent home.
00:07:45.980 We'll give you a cell phone.
00:07:47.100 I mean, that is what they're saying.
00:07:48.700 And you wonder why we've had a record number of people come to our border.
00:07:52.800 It's because they're incentivizing the whole process, which tells you this is intentional.
00:08:00.500 Intentional and effective, because we're talking about a prospect.
00:08:05.100 We've already had two million, a record two million illegal immigrants enter the country in the first year of the presidency.
00:08:12.800 We're looking at the prospect, as you say, with Title 42 being removed.
00:08:17.860 We're talking about somewhere between six and eight million illegal immigrants in the next year entering this country.
00:08:24.900 And we've already learned we're not going to know where they're going, what they're doing, who they are.
00:08:30.500 They're not vetted.
00:08:31.460 They're not identified.
00:08:32.960 And we can't even get this government.
00:08:35.860 Perhaps you can.
00:08:36.820 But certainly, we can't find out even the number of people who've been transported to various states anywhere in the country.
00:08:48.180 Can anybody find out?
00:08:49.320 Yeah, think about those numbers.
00:08:50.580 Yeah, think about those numbers, too, though.
00:08:52.100 I just want to underscore what you just said.
00:08:53.760 It was so important.
00:08:54.280 Those numbers, over four years, what they're going to have in this administration come into the country, that's going to be a bigger number than most of our states.
00:09:03.680 I mean, our state of Ohio population, about close to 12 million people.
00:09:09.040 So if you get six, eight million, and we're the seventh largest state, there are most of our states don't reach the six, eight million mark.
00:09:15.340 That is how the scale that they are doing.
00:09:20.660 And we all understand Republicans, legal immigration, we're for legal immigration.
00:09:26.460 People who follow the law, follow the rules, come here.
00:09:29.260 When individuals who come to this country who want to chase down their goals and dreams, do it legally, God bless them.
00:09:34.680 But Democrats are for illegal immigration.
00:09:37.180 I said this in my opening statement.
00:09:38.760 This is what they're for.
00:09:40.160 They're intentionally doing this to the country. 0.51
00:09:41.840 And I don't know the why, the motive, other than it's just their crazy ideology.
00:09:46.540 They're ideologues, and they think this is what they're supposed to do.
00:09:50.860 And as you point out, they're effective.
00:09:54.160 You can, you know, the numbers just tell us that.
00:09:57.740 And we've always had the saying that illegal immigrants are welcomed by both political parties.
00:10:05.920 The Republicans want them for cheap labor, and the Democrats want them for votes.
00:10:10.000 It's been a bad trade-off in both regards, as far as I'm concerned.
00:10:16.560 And I don't know why the Dems are not getting the point.
00:10:21.360 Right now, the latest polls that I've seen, the Marist poll, NPR Marist poll, showing 52% of Hispanics will be voting Republican.
00:10:32.880 And that's quite a statement.
00:10:35.460 And if true, if it works out that way, this will be more than a wave election.
00:10:40.960 It will be a landslide in November.
00:10:43.940 Yeah.
00:10:44.440 Yeah, let's hope that's the case.
00:10:47.040 And you're right, because it goes back to that point.
00:10:49.020 People who come here legally, they appreciate what this country offers its citizens and how great this nation is, the greatest country ever.
00:10:55.260 But they're tired of the illegal immigration and the drugs and all the other problems that come when you let the cartels do what they want and you give them just, as Secretary Clinton said six years ago when she ran for president, a borderless hemisphere.
00:11:09.320 When you allow that policy to happen, which is what they've done, you get all kinds of – that's what the Democrat mayor of McAllen, Texas, is talking about how bad the Biden policies are.
00:11:21.220 You're seeing that shift.
00:11:22.380 So let's hope that's the case and that Hispanics are, in fact, going to report or support a party that is actually for the rule of law.
00:11:31.000 The Republican Party is now the party, thanks to Donald Trump, the party of working women, their families, the middle class, and – excuse me – entrepreneurs and small business people.
00:11:44.600 Yep.
00:11:45.400 It is good to see.
00:11:47.340 It's a wonderful thing to see.
00:11:49.080 And what I can't stand any more than you can is to see what this administration has done to all the accomplishments of the Trump administration on that border.
00:12:01.000 They have rolled back every policy.
00:12:03.400 They've pushed back the Mexican government, which President Trump had succeeded in creating a partnership with Manuel Lopez Obrador, where there was unprecedented security, at least for the last 30 years, on that border.
00:12:18.440 Well, think about it.
00:12:18.880 They've rolled back every policy that they've rolled back of President Trump has led to the bad outcomes.
00:12:24.380 When you increase regulation like crazy like they're doing, when you spend like crazy like they're doing, you get 41-year high inflation.
00:12:33.860 And when you do the bad energy policy, stop the pipeline, stop drilling in ANWR, reduce the number of leases you allow on federal land, you drive up the cost of energy, which is why we have $4 gas everywhere, $6 gas in California.
00:12:45.280 And energy, of course, drives up inflation.
00:12:47.900 When you defund the police and you attack our law enforcement like they've done, when you call rioters and looters peaceful protesters, you get more crime, which is what we've seen.
00:12:57.740 And, of course, when you do what they've done on the border, you get the crazy things we've been talking about on the border.
00:13:03.640 And then, of course, when you project weakness from the Oval Office, you get the bad outcomes foreign policy.
00:13:08.580 So all the bad stuff we're seeing is because they've directly went against the policies that President Trump had in place.
00:13:14.880 And it's why we're it's it's why where you started.
00:13:17.480 It's that little lady in a town hall in the 4th District of Ohio said to me, you know, how could it get this bad this quick?
00:13:23.640 I never thought that could happen.
00:13:24.780 But that's why, because they've undone all the good policies that were there in the Trump administration across the board.
00:13:30.900 And your point that this is all intentional, this is by design, on the part of this, I consider him, I know he is a puppet president, Joe Biden, because he's obviously impaired.
00:13:47.060 Donald Trump in a rally calling for him again to have a cognitive test, which Donald Trump took.
00:13:53.440 Why is what are they afraid of to have the president of the United States, who is obviously a mess, let's be honest, and at times utterly incoherent and lost?
00:14:06.320 Why?
00:14:07.240 What are they afraid of putting a cognitive test in front of him?
00:14:11.540 Yeah, it's it's it's a sad state of affairs.
00:14:14.820 It's sad.
00:14:15.340 It's actually sad, obviously, for the country.
00:14:17.580 But also, I'm I feel bad for for President Biden, because, you know, that that that video footage of him in the White House with former President Obama, and he's sort of walking around like a kid who's who doesn't have any friends on the playground.
00:14:32.960 I mean, I truly feel you feel you just feel bad.
00:14:37.840 You feel sad for him and his family, frankly.
00:14:41.680 But I mean, I was someone asked me this question today.
00:14:43.960 I was given a speech earlier and they asked me, like, who's in charge?
00:14:46.880 It's one of the questions I get most often because, you know, they see the concerns that we all see.
00:14:51.100 And they ask who's in charge.
00:14:52.280 And I jokingly said, I think it's the Easter Bunny, because remember, it was the Easter Bunny who stopped him from taking the question on the rope line there.
00:14:57.720 But again, just just even even being, you know, humorous about this is like is wrong, too, because it's so real.
00:15:06.580 And what it means for the country when the commander in chief, so many people have these concerns.
00:15:15.280 You know, I actually don't know who is is is actually making the decisions.
00:15:20.120 But it's a real concern for for for the whole nation, as we've talked about.
00:15:24.220 When you watch that that room in the White House with Obama there and the lost kid, Joe Biden, it looked for all the world like that third term for Obama was clear, clear and present at that moment.
00:15:40.780 And Biden was, as you say, lost.
00:15:44.440 It is there's no question that there is somewhere unseen a group of puppet masters running the country.
00:15:54.260 I just I can't I cannot imagine a more dangerous moment than right now with this man, the titular head of the United States and commander in chief.
00:16:07.040 It's a very frightening prospect, it's a very frightening prospect, given all the the threats that we face.
00:16:10.980 I want to turn to your reaction to John Durham and the investigation that he is moving ahead with.
00:16:19.660 The fact the facts that he is introducing into his motions, his filings are revelatory and condemning of the corruption of not only Hunter Biden, but the Biden family.
00:16:33.100 Well, yeah, I mean, there's there's there's concerns there.
00:16:38.500 There's concerns with what with what happened with the campaign, you know, the idea that it was, in fact, spying.
00:16:44.880 It looks like that's fine. Some of the filings term is done.
00:16:46.960 The spying took place, you know, not only when it was president or excuse me, when it was the campaign Trump campaign, but when it was president elect Trump and maybe even when it was president Trump.
00:16:57.360 So there's those concerns there. Then you couple that with what they did, big tech, big media, Democrat Party suppressing a story that would have had, I think, implications for the presidential race in a major way.
00:17:12.780 If the country would have got to have seen the Hunter Biden story, which we now know everything about that, that we that we suspected and thought 18 months ago is is and was true.
00:17:23.140 But they kept that information from us based on and this is the part that bugs me.
00:17:27.580 The so-called experts, 51 former intelligence officials, including six heads of the CIA, former heads of the CIA telling us, oh, this has all the all the earmarks and hallmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign.
00:17:39.480 Baloney, it was the truth. But that one letter became the basis for big tech platforms and the media to keep that information from we the people just days before the most important election we have.
00:17:51.100 Who's going to be our next commander in chief? And so that's that's the frustrating part that I think the country now and now we see what Biden has done to the country.
00:17:58.880 We're like, holy cow, it's been nice to have that information out there for every single voter to evaluate.
00:18:03.580 Yeah. And also to know, again, that it was a plot to overthrow the president.
00:18:10.060 It was a plot to stop his candidacy. It's a plot to remove him from from the political life in this country through January 6th.
00:18:22.540 They have conjured up another hoax and it's disgusting.
00:18:26.220 They've been out to get this President Trump since before he was in office all the time he was in office.
00:18:33.900 And now that he's left, they're out to get him because they don't want him to run again.
00:18:37.320 And it is so obvious. I mean, the impeachment based on the anonymous whistleblower that only Adam Schiff got to know about in the country,
00:18:44.840 we didn't the secret hearings in the bunker before that it was the Russia, Russia, Russia, Mueller report and all that stuff they did.
00:18:50.380 They're all based on now made up information. I mean, the latest Durham filing says that it was user created.
00:18:56.680 That is a fancy way of saying they made it all up. The Clinton campaign made it all up and everyone ran with it.
00:19:03.060 That, you know, the FBI and, of course, the mainstream media. So there's there's that.
00:19:09.100 And then, of course, as you say, what they're doing now with the January 6th committee is to is all designed to try to keep President Trump off the 2024 ballot.
00:19:16.720 Do you think do you think that Hunter Biden will ever be held to account?
00:19:21.800 It's taken four years for a grand jury in Delaware to get nowhere.
00:19:26.580 We're hearing from people that I who I respect Peter Schweitzer as an investigative reporter.
00:19:34.120 He's just he's a great American. And I think the country's best investigative reporter.
00:19:39.720 I just don't see anything there that's going to come forward before this election.
00:19:45.980 Your thoughts on it? Yeah, I don't know.
00:19:48.500 I do know that, you know, it was about four or five weeks ago.
00:19:52.320 The Washington Post runs two articles at one at two eight page articles, one at 11, one at 11.04 a.m.
00:20:02.520 So they do two long articles, four minutes apart, talking about how the laptop is real and what's going on.
00:20:09.700 So that's an about face. That's 180 degree turn from where they were 18 months ago.
00:20:15.040 Something caused them to do that. I don't know what that is.
00:20:19.300 Some people have speculated they think an indictment is coming.
00:20:23.420 But again, we'll have to see. So I don't know if we ever get to the bottom of it.
00:20:28.500 But I do think it's interesting that you have the mainstream press and someone of the, you know, the Washington Post, you know,
00:20:34.900 a key left wing paper that is is making that doing those kind of articles.
00:20:40.400 Like I said, long articles, four minutes apart after being after being 180 degrees different 18 months ago.
00:20:47.180 And with Hunter Biden and with all of the implications, if it doesn't happen before the election, that will be further, further shame.
00:20:57.940 But also that that this this family, the Biden family continues to avoid accountability.
00:21:09.600 I've never seen the like of of this, because at least as far as we know, we have been seeing the like of it because the names are out in public now.
00:21:18.000 I can't imagine this this president escaping without great accountability.
00:21:25.320 We know that what is being done in terms of policy is driven by Marxist left ideology. 1.00
00:21:31.340 He is inept. He is impaired. 1.00
00:21:34.320 And he is a tool of a very sinister force that would do this to the country.
00:21:39.060 Yeah. And I think I think one of the things that that is interesting is is how the story has changed, you know, with with the whole Biden family.
00:21:49.380 You know, I said initially 18 months ago, the left told us in the mainstream press and all told us that, oh, the laptop wasn't real.
00:21:55.880 You know, it's Russian disinformation. Then they sort of say, well, no, the laptop is real, but it's fully Russian disinformation.
00:22:00.380 And then it was, well, no, no, it's not really Russian disinformation. But but President Biden had no knowledge and nothing to do with it.
00:22:07.380 And now it's like, oh, well, President Biden knew kind of what was going on, but he didn't do anything wrong.
00:22:12.560 And since even that over the last several weeks, it's like, well, he met with the, you know, Hunter Biden's business partner, like 20 some times in the White House or whatever that number is.
00:22:23.900 It's some big number. It's like suddenly the story keeps changing. So we'll see if he's if the president has any real knowledge or any any culpability here.
00:22:33.700 I don't think that he does yet, but there's there's certainly some concerns that I think raise all kinds of questions that we'll have to get to the bottom of his.
00:22:43.720 It looks as if President Biden and perhaps the Biden family, if you will, is compromised through their dealings with China and the Chinese, the CCP's inventory of companies doing business with the with the Bidens.
00:23:02.420 But now we learn a Russian oligarch with close ties to Putin was actually meeting with Hunter Biden.
00:23:09.160 And this is thanks to the Daily Mail's investigative reporting in Moscow over potential investment deals and then meeting twice more in New York and D.C.
00:23:19.700 And guess what? That oligarch has been sanctioned by the U.K., but not by the U.S. Biden led government.
00:23:28.860 I mean, it's it's the smell just gets stronger and stronger about the compromise possibilities for this family.
00:23:38.880 Yeah. And again, we don't we don't know, but it is interesting.
00:23:43.000 You know, the one thing I remember as well is during the debate in the 2020 race is Joe Biden said in one of the debates, he said, you know, I didn't have any involvement.
00:23:51.260 My son didn't have any involvement with with companies with with ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
00:23:55.480 And it's just like, as I've said many times, there are four point eight million reasons why that statement's not accurate, because it's been reported now that Hunter Biden was paid.
00:24:03.880 Hunter Biden and his uncle, James Biden, were paid four point eight million dollars in a year's time to from from CEFC, the big energy company in China.
00:24:13.420 So that statement that the president made in the debate and, you know, as we're getting ready to elect the commander in chief, the presidential election is absolutely not true.
00:24:24.240 So we'll just have to we'll just have to wait and see.
00:24:27.140 And are you confident that the Republicans right now are going to, as you said, start at the beginning point of this is a an intentional administration, intentional and it's devastation of our border, intentional and it's import of of illegal immigrants and intentional in its acts that are directly against the interests and values.
00:24:56.720 Well, it's certainly certainly on the border, certainly on economic policies, it's intentional what they're doing.
00:25:05.580 Again, I don't know how anyone with common sense could could reach a different conclusion.
00:25:09.540 And, you know, and remember what Secretary Mayorkas said a year ago, September, he is testifying in front of Congress a year ago, and he says that or last September, he says that the border is secure and we are executing our plan.
00:25:27.140 Now, think about that statement. The border is secure and we are executing our plan.
00:25:30.120 The first statement is absolutely false. The second part of the statement is true. 0.88
00:25:37.000 They're they're executing a plan to overwhelm our country with more illegal migrants at our southern border than ever in the history of this nation. 0.99
00:25:45.580 So that's the frightening part is when he tells us, oh, the borders. We know that's not true.
00:25:50.960 We got we can see with our own darn eyes. But but when he says the second part, we are executing our plan. 0.95
00:25:57.100 He's being honest with us now there. He's telling the truth there. And that should scare us even more.
00:26:02.320 So we know when it comes to the border that this is absolutely intentional what they're doing.
00:26:07.460 Congressman Jim Jordan, one of the reasons that we we can at least if we do have much to fear, we also know we've got a great champion in Congressman Jim Jordan.
00:26:19.880 Congressman, great to have you with us. Thanks for joining us here on the Great America Show.
