The Great America Show - DEMS ARE TRYING TO UNDERMINE THE STRENGTHS OF AMERICA, DESTROY THE RULE OF LAW AND THE FAMILY UNIT

00:00:00.000 Hello everybody and welcome to the Great America Show. I'm Lou Dobbs and we all hear a lot about our wide open border with Mexico, the strength of the Mexican drug cartels and their dominion over not only the smuggling of illegal immigrants and the deadliest of all drugs fentanyl, but also their sex trafficking, human smuggling of all kinds, tens of billions of dollars pouring into the drug cartels who now control both sides of that southern border.

00:00:28.400 The federal government is doing absolutely nothing. Biden bows to the cartels and talks tough. He's a Marxist, but a coward and an impaired puppet. And Biden has created the most dangerous period in our country's history, in my opinion, because he means to destroy the United States.

00:00:48.500 And he's aligned himself with the Chinese, with Mexico, the drug cartels and most corrupt forces in the world. And now imagine that you're a sheriff responsible for a county that is as large as the state of Connecticut. And you have fewer than a thousand deputies to maintain law and order.

00:01:08.260 Joining us now is the man who lives that responsibility each and every day. Our guest is Sheriff Mark Lamb. Mark is the sheriff of Pinal County, Arizona. He's a great American working hard to serve and protect the citizens of Pinal County to advance justice, law and order and the American way in the great state of Arizona.

00:01:29.800 Mark, it's great to have America. Mark, it's great to have you with us on the great America show. Thanks for being with us, Sheriff. I know you're more than just a little busy down there right now.

00:01:40.240 You can say that again. Thank you, Lou. I appreciate you having me on the show. But yeah, we're we're busy here, but it's what we got to do.

00:01:48.080 And what you're doing is the Lord's work. And you're not getting a lot of help, if any, from the federal government.

00:01:58.160 Even the state government isn't much help. Give us a sense of what you're you're facing and how you're responding.

00:02:09.080 Yeah, well, we're facing is probably the worst crisis as far as human trafficking and drug trafficking we've seen in the history of this country.

00:02:15.680 Every day, I just see it seems to get worse and worse. And, you know, it's a stark comparison to what we had two years ago under the President Trump administration.

00:02:26.820 Now, since January of 2021, I mean, this has been a complete opposite of the lines of communication have been severed.

00:02:36.280 We still work very well with the line level guys and Border Patrol and CBP and ICE.

00:02:41.320 But, you know, they're completely handcuffed and we're out there trying to help them do their job.

00:02:46.840 And we're trying to protect our communities from the human trafficking, especially the drug trafficking.

00:02:51.740 And like you said, we're getting no help, Lou. And it's it's it makes it tough because now the state carries the burden of what the federal government is supposed to do.

00:03:00.380 And then you see your state not doing everything they could do.

00:03:03.880 So, yeah, it's a frustrating situation for us. And it's probably as bad as it's ever been.

00:03:08.000 And the cartels, they've got to be taking advantage of this moment.

00:03:14.160 Oh, the cartels are making more money now than they've ever made.

00:03:18.080 And it's because of the policies or lack of policies or omission of duties from this government.

00:03:24.640 That's really what is is precipitating this.

00:03:27.260 Now we've got we they don't even have to go out and market the clientele because of our policy, you know,

00:03:32.660 because of what's going on in our government here in Washington, D.C., they're bringing the clients right to the doorstep of the cartels.

00:03:38.520 And the cartels are all too willing to take advantage of those people, to charge those people, to traffic those people, to try to use them to traffic drugs into this country.

00:03:49.720 And they're making more money than they've ever made before.

00:03:52.220 And so, yeah, they love it.

00:03:53.880 I'm sure they're going to the White House to get a ton of Christmas cards from all the cartels for all the money they've made these last couple of years.

00:04:00.920 You know, and I wonder what everybody's getting from the from the cartels, because this is a business proposition.

00:04:07.540 And I think it's fair to say, I hope it is, because I say it quite often, the cartels have taken control of both sides of that southern border.

00:04:17.460 We have never seen the like of this.

00:04:19.720 And people I just I think most Americans don't realize the depth of the crisis we face.

00:04:27.060 And part of the crisis, certainly, maybe the larger part of it is an administration, a president who is not responding to the number of illegal immigrants that are crossing that border.

00:04:39.840 The sex trafficking of fentanyl, you know, Derek Maltz, a former DEA, you may know him, a great guy, a great American.

00:04:50.800 And he talks about what they did in the years previous to fight against all of the drugs coming across.

00:04:58.620 But fentanyl right now, I mean, they might as well have a, you know, a three or four foot conduit running under the under the ground to deliver that fentanyl.

00:05:08.860 It's just it's a mass poisoning, as he puts it, of America.

00:05:13.180 What are your thoughts?

00:05:14.220 I love that you use that term because I've been using that term now for a year or more, that these are not overdoses, because when you think of an overdose, what the average American thinks of is a is a drug addict who finally took too many drugs.

00:05:29.540 And that's just not the case.

00:05:31.400 I mean, youth are losing their lives, taking one pill.

00:05:36.400 Cocaine addicts are are losing their life because they've laced the cocaine with fentanyl.

00:05:41.880 Same with methamphetamine, heroin.

00:05:44.220 And, you know, we're left to pick up these pieces.

00:05:46.740 The federal government allows this poison to come into our communities at unprecedented rates.

00:05:52.140 And then we have to go and we have to pick these families up when they lose a loved one, when they find their 15 year old daughter laying in bed dead, when the dad finds his 21 year old daughter in the shower dead.

00:06:04.820 These are the pieces that we have to pick up.

00:06:06.820 And what answers do I give my citizens when I when they ask me, what are you going to do, sheriff?

00:06:12.420 And and I have a government who's who's just allowing this to come in blue.

00:06:17.820 Let me give you the numbers for my sheriff's office.

00:06:19.900 In 2018, what the cartel is bringing is these little blue M30 fentanyl pills, because the cartel knows there's a stigma in America with putting the needle in your arm or between your toes.

00:06:31.040 But what we do do as Americans is we take pills.

00:06:34.160 And so the cartel started producing these little blue M30 fentanyl pills.

00:06:37.720 And we in just my sheriff's office in 2018, we had zero M30 fentanyl pill seizures in 2019.

00:06:45.720 We had six hundred and seventy seven pills in 2020.

00:06:49.500 We had over two hundred thousand pills in 2021.

00:06:53.120 We had over one point two million pills.

00:06:56.160 And I can tell you that we will far exceed that.

00:06:59.700 We had a bus the other day with four hundred thousand pills.

00:07:02.520 We had one this year where there was three trays of food that added two hundred and twenty something thousand pills.

00:07:09.320 And the DEA estimates that 40 percent of all of the doses that we are recovering are lethal doses.

00:07:18.080 Forty percent of those numbers that we're finding are lethal doses.

00:07:21.280 That means that when we pull off two hundred thousand pills, we potentially saved almost one hundred thousand lives that could have been lost.

00:07:29.140 American lives to the poison that is this fentanyl and other drugs coming in. 0.57

00:07:33.980 So, yeah, you can see I'm you could probably hear my voice.

00:07:36.700 I'm passionate about this. And I think it's the greatest crisis.

00:07:41.360 Like you said, Lou, it's the greatest crisis we're facing.

00:07:44.060 And then you mix that in with the human trafficking, modern day slavery like we've never seen it before.

00:07:49.860 It is it's unbelievable to me that the American people just haven't realized this to the point where they hold these people in Washington, D.C.

00:07:59.880 completely accountable. Not a single one of them should get reelected.

00:08:02.860 I couldn't agree with you more. And by the way, I mean, irrespective of a party, if they're if this is so frustrating for I know you and for nearly everyone, I would think of the state of Arizona.

00:08:17.460 But across the country, the farther away from that border, people seem to be a little less sensitive to the dimension of the problem.

00:08:28.060 There is a moment where we've got to to really figure out what's going on here.

00:08:33.940 I mean, you say human smuggling and slavery.

00:08:38.160 I as a young reporter, I did a couple of reports on slavery at that time.

00:08:45.640 I actually it ended up being the FBI's first case against slavery, slavery case since the Civil War.

00:08:52.740 But that had to do with labor camps and the way in which they were being operated.

00:08:58.780 Talk about the slavery that you're describing.

00:09:02.580 Yeah, this is this is a slavery on a scale that we've never seen.

00:09:07.080 The other day I was down in Cochise County with Sheriff Daniels on Saturday and we had a car that they pulled over.

00:09:14.120 We showed up and I speak Spanish.

00:09:16.500 I was talking to these people and we were asking them how much they paid the cartel.

00:09:20.420 And they said they paid the cartel seven thousand dollars each.

00:09:23.900 However, they don't pay that full amount.

00:09:26.540 What they do is they pay a portion of it and then they are beholding.

00:09:30.740 They become slaves to the cartel until they pay it off or else they'll hurt their family in Mexico.

00:09:37.020 Or the women are being forced to be used into the as sex slaves in the sex trafficking.

00:09:44.100 Here's the thing about drugs.

00:09:45.280 When the cartel traffics drugs, a pill, cocaine, whatever, they get money for it one time.

00:09:52.440 But if you traffic a woman or a child and you put them into the sex slave here in America, sex trade here in America as slaves, you will make money off of day after day after day after day.

00:10:04.480 They continue to pay as long as you have them as sex slaves. 1.00

00:10:08.660 And they will they'll keep them docile with fentanyl and with heroin and they'll keep them in that trade.

00:10:14.820 The men are being forced to carry drugs across like slaves.

00:10:19.580 The children are being forced into slavery, indentured servitude.

00:10:24.500 They're being used as pawns.

00:10:26.480 And when they get here, they're being put placed in the sex trafficking rings.

00:10:30.380 They're being used as cheap labor. 0.75

00:10:33.900 Remember, this is modern day slavery.

00:10:37.100 And I cannot believe that both left and right are not appalled with what they're seeing.

00:10:43.340 But here's the thing.

00:10:44.020 The mainstream media on the left doesn't tell this story.

00:10:47.440 And they continue to say it's a manufactured crisis by the conservatives or by the right or by the Republicans.

00:10:54.680 And that could not be anything further from the truth.

00:10:57.060 And every day we go without speaking about it, we become more and more complicit in this this modern day slavery and human trafficking.

00:11:06.740 I don't believe I've ever heard President Biden, Sheriff, even use the term sex trafficking, human smuggling.

00:11:14.980 And I and I know for a fact that he wants that border wide open and he has to understand, as impaired as he may be, he has to understand that he is aligned and complicit with the Mexican drug cartels, transnational terrorist organizations.

00:11:35.260 However, you want to style them.

00:11:37.880 It is madness itself.

00:11:40.740 And you have Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, running around, acting like he is a an angel on high for for leaving the United States invulnerable to every kind of harm imaginable with that border wide open.

00:12:01.600 Yeah, he has some answering to do as well.

00:12:04.320 And you're exactly right, Lou.

00:12:06.020 This doesn't matter to President Trump, President Obama, Biden, President Biden, because he has not even made a trip to the border.

00:12:14.380 This is the crisis that America is facing right here.

00:12:17.220 Our front doorstep is killing more Americans now. 1.00

00:12:21.000 Over 100,000 Americans dying from fentanyl.

00:12:23.760 And yet he doesn't show up here.

00:12:25.260 And then his vice president makes one appearance in El Paso.

00:12:29.260 Nonetheless, doesn't really even go to the border.

00:12:32.020 That just shows you they don't want this.

00:12:34.040 Now, what they did tell you in 2020 is they were going to reinvent America, build it back better.

00:12:40.340 I don't know about the rest of the Americas or anybody listening to this program today, what you thought when they said that.

00:12:45.540 But that set off alarms in my head when you said you wanted to reinvent America.

00:12:49.980 It means you want to tear it down and do it again.

00:12:52.160 And by doing that, you have to undermine the rule of law and their indifference, their omission of doing their job at the border has been the greatest example of undermining the rule of law.

00:13:06.440 They talk about defunding the police.

00:13:08.720 They don't secure our border.

00:13:10.360 All of these things are deteriorating that rule of law so that they can rebuild America the way they want to build it.

00:13:17.680 I think that they underestimate sheriffs across this country and the men and women who put on that badge every day that we love this country.

00:13:27.340 We love freedom and we're going to do everything we can to protect it.

00:13:30.240 And so I think that's one thing that they underestimate.

00:13:33.580 But you're exactly right, Lou.

00:13:35.680 They're turning a blind eye to it and they become complicit in it, whether they want to believe it or not.

00:13:41.480 But I do believe they know they're being complicit.

00:13:44.380 I agree with you.

00:13:45.860 Absolutely. 0.99

00:13:46.380 And I sort of shudder when I hear Republicans or conservatives start talking about they're just inept, that they're incompetent. 0.98

00:13:54.380 And my view is yours, just exactly like yours. 0.86

00:14:01.340 These people know exactly what they're doing and everything that is happening is quite intentional.

00:14:06.480 And the expression build back better, build back better from what to what?

00:14:13.000 The reality is that is an analog for Obama's fundamental transformation of America.

00:14:20.080 It's the same thing and it's the same policy.

00:14:23.180 And people need to understand we're right now living in the third term of Barack Obama.

00:14:30.140 That's right.

00:14:30.440 No one in his or her right mind thinks that this impaired president is in any way setting the strategy, the policy for this administration. 0.83

00:14:40.520 This is coming out of the Marxist Dems who are driving the Democratic Party. 0.52

00:14:46.160 And I think principal among them certainly must most likely be Barack Obama.

00:14:51.840 When you said, oh, Biden, I thought, you know, that's a great expression for what I think this has become.

00:14:58.500 The the Biden administration.

00:15:02.160 Biden is the perfect patsy.

00:15:04.640 Biden is so compromised, both morally and well, morally and through his son.

00:15:11.660 There's no question that Joe Biden is involved in his business transactions with his son, which are are troubling at the least and borderline traitor treasonous to this country, what they've done.

00:15:27.280 And yet they got him over a barrel.

00:15:30.360 I mean, he's got to do what they want him to do, because I guarantee you he is compromised on many levels.

00:15:36.540 And who better to know that than Obama?

00:15:39.360 Obama has to know just how compromised Joe is.

00:15:43.000 And you can hear that in some of the comments he made during the election cycle.

00:15:47.020 You know, he said, look, don't underestimate Joe's ability to screw something up.

00:15:52.580 They know exactly who they have.

00:15:54.480 He's the perfect patsy.

00:15:55.560 And they're playing him like a fiddle.

00:15:58.280 Yeah, I think I think you're making I think that's a terrific analysis.

00:16:02.560 And again, I find it compelling.

00:16:05.920 There's hardly any room there to argue with you on your conclusions.

00:16:10.540 And it gets worse.

00:16:12.740 Whether we look at the foreign policy, you have to wonder what in the world is Biden doing in Ukraine.

00:16:19.280 He's driving more business for the southern border, certainly, as those all of these nationalities are now flowing across that border.

00:16:29.440 But it looks like he's you know, it's hush money that he's pouring into Ukraine because it isn't it isn't a sensible policy.

00:16:37.180 And it's a war that he could have avoided and he is secretary of state had they known what they were doing or had the motivation to stop that war.

00:16:48.820 It's almost as if that's what they wanted.

00:16:51.080 And now they're they're playing it out.

00:16:53.520 Yeah, and he's either tone deaf, completely tone deaf to the American people or willfully just neglecting the American people.

00:17:03.100 We have so many issues here on our own land where 60 billion dollars or 80 billion dollars you give to the IRS for crying out loud.

00:17:13.320 Think about the impact you could have on homelessness in this country, the impact you could have on border security,

00:17:19.540 the impact you could have on all of these things.

00:17:23.360 I mean, they threw a fit when President Trump wanted five billion dollars to build a wall to protect our borders, which is their responsibility.

00:17:31.680 But they didn't bat an eyelash when they put 80 billion dollars in there for the IRS or 60 billion dollars to send to a country halfway across the world that none of us,

00:17:44.240 very few of us in America have a relationship with.

00:17:46.980 And it's tragic what's happening over there, but it is even more tragic to see what's happening here in our own country and our government's absolute defiance of the American people and ignoring of us.

00:18:01.960 And, you know, he's he clearly showed he doesn't care about us.

00:18:06.400 And that's the difference. President Trump did.

00:18:08.880 You know, you can say people can say whatever they want about his tweets.

00:18:11.700 I've spent enough time around President Trump to know that that man loved America.

00:18:16.780 He loves freedom. He loves the American people.

00:18:20.200 And he put his family and his reputation on the line to do it, to take care of us.

00:18:25.700 And, you know, I think all of us are missing him.

00:18:28.320 But shame on on those who who who don't see that, because that guy did a lot for us.

00:18:34.680 Right. I again, I I think you're exactly right.

00:18:38.840 And I will tell you, we're praying for him to to get and for all of us to win this election in November, because it's that important.

00:18:49.420 And it will set the tone and at least forestall total disaster for the nation.

00:18:55.140 If we can at least put in check this, this crazed administration and the mad Pelosi Schumer Capitol Hill authoritarians who are having their way right now with almost everything.

00:19:11.500 I mean, I love the law that they just the bill they just put into law when when Biden signed it, the the Inflation Reduction Act, which is all about climate change, taxes.

00:19:28.860 It's it's just crazy what they're doing.

00:19:31.360 It's Orwellian. It is American communism, if you will.

00:19:35.780 It is. And, you know, they're already changing their tune.

00:19:38.640 It was like a day later. They're asking, well, you know, it's not quite an inflation reduction bill.

00:19:43.960 I mean, immediately they changed the the what their their terminology for it, their explanation for it.

00:19:52.040 Once they got it through, they screwed us.

00:19:55.340 You know, Alexis de Tocqueville from who wrote Democracy in America.

00:20:00.160 For anybody who doesn't know him, he was sent by the French government to understand the American penal system and the greatness of America.

00:20:06.620 And he wrote a series of books called Democracy in America.

00:20:09.820 But one of the one of the quotes he has in there, he says, America will thrive until the day that Congress realizes they can bribe the people with the people's money.

00:20:22.580 Right. And we've gotten to that point.

00:20:24.400 The time we're gone. Congress bribes the people with the people's money.

00:20:28.880 And and that's why we're in the problems we're in.

00:20:32.260 You know, I love another.

00:20:34.420 It's often a quote credited to the Tocqueville, but it was really a summation of his 750 page work.

00:20:43.080 And to Tocqueville, he said purportedly, but we know it now it was a, as I say, a summarization that America will remain great as long as its people are good.

00:21:00.880 I can give you that quote.

00:21:01.980 Exactly.

00:21:02.680 Exactly.

00:21:03.320 And the quote is, he says, I searched for the greatness and genius of America and her commodious harbors and in her ample rivers, and it was not there.

00:21:15.000 I searched in her fertile fields and in her boundless prairies, and it was not there.

00:21:21.760 I searched in her rich minds and in her vast world commerce, and it was not there.

00:21:27.360 Not until I went into the churches of America and discovered her pulpits aflame with righteousness did I understand her genius and greatness.

00:21:38.400 America was great because she was good. 1.00

00:21:40.580 And if America ever ceased to be good, America would cease to be great.

00:21:45.000 It's a wonderful, wonderful, well, first of all, it's a book that I would recommend to everyone to read.

00:21:52.940 It is, and I will not sugarcoat this, it is a chore, and it's a chore, though, that has immense rewards.

00:22:00.780 So anyone who wants to turn to the Tocqueville, it's a great marker in history with which to compare our nation today,

00:22:09.820 and you will weep at that comparison, I assure you.

00:22:13.400 You know, Sheriff, I thank you for that quote, and it is wonderful of you to do so,

00:22:21.260 and I hope that the audience enjoyed it as much as I do.

00:22:25.980 The Tocqueville quoting Sheriff of Pinal County.

00:22:31.300 That's outstanding.

00:22:34.220 Gun-toting the Tocqueville quoting Sheriff of Pinal County.

00:22:39.760 I want to turn to a couple of things we've touched on, and one is the number of illegal immigrants crossing that border.

00:22:49.940 The FAIR has put the estimate now at nearly 5 million illegal immigrants across the border just during the Biden administration.

00:22:59.440 And I've seen numbers.

00:23:02.200 I've talked with the former Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, Mark Morgan, and, you know, he has numbers who are slightly higher than that,

00:23:13.020 and I put some considerable trust in those numbers that are somewhat higher, knowing government as I do.

00:23:19.860 But this is an invasion by any definition.

00:23:25.640 Why in the world is anyone having an argument about that reality, particularly the governor of Arizona?

00:23:32.700 Right.

00:23:33.580 Yeah.

00:23:33.920 I mean, the definition of an invasion is an intrusion by a large group of people into a place or sphere of activity,

00:23:41.920 or an incursion of a group of people, an unwanted incursion of a group of people into an area.

00:23:48.620 And both of those apply.

00:23:50.800 Like, they're not, this is exactly what it is.

00:23:53.760 Not only is it an invasion, it's an invasion of people who wish ill will on this country.

00:23:59.140 Now, not everybody does, but there are plenty of people.

00:24:02.140 You'd be naive to think that there are not people that are coming into this country illegally that do not, that they don't love America.

00:24:09.160 They want to do harm to America.

00:24:11.400 They're coming here to take advantage of us.

00:24:14.120 And I think the average American thinks that everybody who comes across the border is just this poor little person.

00:24:19.580 Well, I will tell you that that is not the truth. 0.93

00:24:22.140 A lot of them are criminals.

00:24:23.920 They're gang members from other countries. 0.99

00:24:27.920 They are violent people.

00:24:29.420 They have criminal histories here in this country, and they've been sent back, and now they're coming again.

00:24:34.640 I mean, it is a real problem.

00:24:36.660 It is, the average American is sorely misled as to what the, what type of people are coming across.

00:24:46.140 There are good people mixed in, but we have a process in place for them, and that's what we ask.

00:24:50.860 Please just follow the process for coming into this country legally if you want to come in and have a piece of the American way.

00:24:58.640 And we're hurting ourselves because now you have people who are giving up on the system, the legal system, when they can see that you can just put $7,000 in the pocket of the cartels.

00:25:14.140 I mean, that's an act to me that is immorally, I would hope for anyone.

00:25:21.700 I understand the motivations of the poorest people who are trying to get there, and to put that number, that amount of money in the hands of the cartel is, to me, just disgusting, appalling, and immoral.

00:25:37.740 And yet, millions of Americans, and there are millions of Americans, are doing just that, whether it's through the sex trade, whether it is through illegal alien smuggling, whether it's drugs, whatever it may be.

00:25:52.780 Doing business with the cartels is to support the enemy of America.

00:25:59.140 Yeah, and Lou, I know you know the financial world much better than I do, but I remember back when President Trump was trying to get $5 billion for border security, I remember seeing the figures that at that time, we were losing an estimated $130 billion in lost tax revenue from the people that were making money here in America that weren't paying taxes.

00:26:25.700 And they were balking on $5 billion when we were losing $130 billion.

00:26:30.680 That number has to be, because of the amount of people that have come in, 5 million people that have come in, that number has to be so much higher than that.

00:26:38.700 So you talk about the lost tax revenue that this country is having.

00:26:41.720 Another big issue for the financial side of America, where we're already in an inflation, a recession, and now you want to take money that these people are making under the table that they don't pay taxes on, and they're sending it back to their respective homes, whatever country they came from, because that's why they're here.

00:26:59.620 They're sending that money back, and they're leaving a giant hole in our economy where that money's not being put back in.

00:27:06.160 That's not going to help us in a recession or during this inflation we're seeing.

00:27:12.900 There is a huge economic impact above and beyond the moral issues that we deal with on the human trafficking and drug trafficking.

00:27:20.540 There's a financial aspect that is crippling to America that I don't hear hardly anybody talk about.

00:27:27.760 And that, to me, is another crisis that we're facing here in America that is precipitated by their inability to control the southern border.

00:27:37.300 The idea of these remittance payments by illegal immigrants in this country back to their families, whether it be Mexico, Central America, wherever it may be, were estimated some years ago at about $30 billion a year.

00:27:56.540 I've always believed, again, that number was modest compared to the reality.

00:28:01.860 And you're exactly right, the impact on our economy.

00:28:05.560 This is money that should have been invested, that should have been saved by those people to prepare for a better life here.

00:28:12.400 And I also understand the motivation of taking care of their family back home, whom they had to leave, to come here to make more money.

00:28:20.940 It's all very complicated, complex.

00:28:24.580 But on the other hand, it's straightforward.

00:28:26.840 What we are doing is losing control of our border.

00:28:31.840 We are losing control of what America is, because this is de facto the North American Union, as it was styled under George W. Bush,

00:28:44.240 which was a brilliant idea to drop all of the borders between Canada and Mexico to make NAFTA.

00:28:53.740 It would render NAFTA to be actually beneficial by comparison, as devastating as it's been to the U.S. economy.

00:29:02.680 And what we're permitting is this administration to just simply remove that border, create a de facto North American Union that will affect our middle class and working men and women for, I think, decades to come.

00:29:17.940 Exactly. Because it's class warfare. 0.98

00:29:21.700 When you have these American communists like we're seeing now, what they want to do is create an elite class and the rest of us paupers.

00:29:29.060 And that's really when you look at the things that they're doing, that's what the intent is.

00:29:34.620 And I think that's what the intent is.

00:29:36.760 And I think that's what the outcome is going to be, is hoard all the money into the elites and leave the rest of us paupers to serve them at their at their at their leisure.

00:29:47.560 Isn't it? I think it's interesting that Donald Trump was the first one to say the elites aren't so elite in this country, not nearly as elite as they think they are.

00:29:59.440 The people are elite and we need to get that straight for once and for all.

00:30:05.400 Unfortunately, now, people are talking about five, six billion illegal immigrants in this country.

00:30:11.700 But I don't hear anyone asking, well, where are they going?

00:30:15.060 Where are they living? Who's supporting them?

00:30:17.460 How much money is it costing the taxpayers, the local taxpayer, the state taxpayer, the federal taxpayer?

00:30:23.920 And we know it's by the billions.

00:30:26.720 You can't do it for less than that.

00:30:29.420 And they are supporting them across the board.

00:30:31.920 But we are talking about skills, education levels.

00:30:38.300 Nearly all of them have very are deficient in education.

00:30:42.480 They're deficient in school, schools in any sort, vocational as well.

00:30:48.640 None of them have trades to speak of.

00:30:51.320 So we are now no longer importing excellence and skills and education who will drive the economy.

00:31:01.920 We're importing, frankly, poverty and the uneducated because the elites want them to be available for labor. 0.75

00:31:13.220 That's exactly it.

00:31:14.860 You're exactly right.

00:31:15.980 You nailed it.

00:31:16.540 And, you know, my job, I talked to a congresswoman out of Washington and and kudos to her for even getting on the phone with me. 0.82

00:31:23.840 She's a Democrat congresswoman.

00:31:25.360 And she she said, well, what about all the good people coming across, Sheriff?

00:31:28.500 And I said, well, let me put it this way, Congresswoman.

00:31:30.860 If I had 10 people that I wanted to put in your home, five of them were good and five of them were bad.

00:31:36.380 And I couldn't tell you which ones they were.

00:31:38.200 Would you do that?

00:31:39.780 And she was quiet.

00:31:41.040 And I said, you're quiet because, you know, that you would never do that.

00:31:44.020 And I would tell you as a law enforcement official, don't do that.

00:31:47.400 I said, let me take it even further.

00:31:48.800 Let me say that nine of them are good and one of them is bad. 0.99

00:31:52.140 But that one is a sex offender, a child molester. 0.97

00:31:54.920 And I can't tell you who it is. 0.94

00:31:56.340 Are you going to let them in your house? 0.98

00:31:58.580 She was quiet again.

00:31:59.700 And I said, you're quiet again because, you know, that is not you wouldn't do that.

00:32:04.380 That would be crazy.

00:32:05.860 I said, it is my job as a sheriff to stop nine good people so that I can stop that one bad person.

00:32:13.740 You know why?

00:32:14.560 Because we have a process in place and they should follow that process.

00:32:18.860 If they don't follow that process, then guess what?

00:32:22.000 I have to stop them all because I don't know which ones are good and bad.

00:32:25.700 And I can't afford to have those bad people in my country, in my communities or going throughout the rest of America, because the reality is they don't stay in Texas or Arizona.

00:32:35.620 This is a problem.

00:32:36.580 This is this is not a red or blue problem.

00:32:38.680 This is a red, white and blue problem.

00:32:40.400 They're going to go through to every state across this union and your own government is taking them out there.

00:32:46.200 You know, what I like about the ratios that you construct there is I'd like the Congresswoman to to think about the ratios that are serving in the U.S. Congress or the U.S. Senate or in the White House right now.

00:33:02.100 What percentage would she say are good people and what percentage would she say might as well be felons because of what they're doing to our school systems, what they're trying to do to our children, what they're permitting to be done to American citizens?

00:33:19.800 Because they ultimately become murderers, they become complicit in sex trafficking with the policies they pursue, and they are trying to destroy the American family as they do so.

00:33:34.220 Absolutely.

00:33:35.160 That's the other strength of of America, the rule of law and the family unity.

00:33:40.180 Those are the two strengths, and that's why they're pushing these they want you to tolerate behavior like the trans movement or or now you're you're seeing them be and I said this 10 years ago you watch they're going to try to start justifying men or adults being attracted to minors. 0.71

00:33:59.820 They will justify that behavior and we're seeing that more and more and it's all designed to undermine the family unity because that's been one of the strengths of America along with the rule of law.

00:34:09.140 And we're seeing it happen right before our eyes, you know, I is I look around and, you know, our family and extended family and friends that all that people are contending with and and irrespective of your socioeconomic standing or whatever, it is it's happening to everyone in America, whether it's fentanyl.

00:34:36.620 Whether it is sex trafficking, whether it is sex trafficking, whether it is in our schools, these mad CRT initiatives that have been started under really Barack Obama and push throughout government business now business.

00:34:52.140 People forget that border, by the way, corporate America is endorsing it and make no mistake about it.

00:34:59.160 They think that they think that they need economic growth to have economic wealth generated, which is not true.

00:35:06.620 It's easy. It's much easier, but it's not true.

00:35:10.420 And you can just look at Europe and see how they have done with a population that is growing far slower than our own,

00:35:17.840 or at least it was until suddenly Angela Merkel decided to open up Germany to five million illegal immigrants.

00:35:25.980 It's it's a stunning development when you look at what corporate America has become and what they are endorsing, whether it's primarily left wing policies.

00:35:37.980 Capitalism is what has always kept America and government in check because you could push these crazy policies,

00:35:44.980 but then the marketplace would regulate it and the marketplace would balance it out.

00:35:49.880 But now you have complete control of of the of the government and they've somehow infiltrated into corporate America.

00:35:58.180 And capitalism is no longer keeping government in check.

00:36:02.100 Capitalism is actually beating the American public down with the government.

00:36:07.860 And so that's we're broken in America.

00:36:10.940 We've lost our moral compass for one thing.

00:36:13.400 We're no longer the good country we used to be like Alexis de Tocqueville talked about.

00:36:18.120 And then we're we've got our capitalism, which is no longer keeping government in check by market by the market regulating itself.

00:36:26.820 They are they are regulating the market now.

00:36:30.900 It's crazy where we're at.

00:36:32.600 And I don't know.

00:36:34.040 I don't think I have all the answers.

00:36:35.540 I don't espouse to have hardly any of the answers.

00:36:37.860 I try to focus on what my bailiwick is and control what I can control and and hope that everybody else does their job.

00:36:46.500 Well, you have a heck of a job, and I think we ought to put that in clear perspective for everybody listening to us.

00:36:52.440 Sheriff Lamb is the sheriff of Pinal County in Arizona, has a pretty big area.

00:37:01.120 Why don't you tell our audience just how big the county is?

00:37:06.420 Yeah, our county is 5,400 square miles, which is about the exact size of the state of Connecticut.

00:37:11.820 We have about a half a million people in the county, 600 plus employees, a budget of 50 million dollars.

00:37:19.140 So it's we stay pretty busy and we're not on the border.

00:37:22.280 We're about 50 to 60 miles off the border.

00:37:24.260 But we have a desert area that is an Indian reservation on the south end of our county where the cartel pushes military-age men in camouflage clothes and carpet shoes and backpacks through that desert. 0.53

00:37:36.020 We also have the I-8 interstate and the I-10 interstate, which are main arteries for the cartels bringing their poison into this country, poison that we try to stop from getting out throughout the rest of America.

00:37:49.860 And it's also their main artery for trafficking humans into this country. 0.98

00:37:54.720 So, yeah, we've got our work cut out for us.

00:37:57.080 I just thought everybody should know that they're talking about we're talking about the state, the state of Connecticut.

00:38:04.180 I wouldn't we're talking about your jurisdiction and it's it's a lot for 600 folks to take care of.

00:38:11.740 It really is amazing to think that the challenge that you face, the threats that you face.

00:38:19.160 And as a nation, we're talking about, again, illegal immigration.

00:38:23.820 But that means that we're not focused on those people who want to come here based on merit, based on their skills and what they can bring to this country.

00:38:34.300 We are now, you know, we're taking in people who the cartels decide we will take.

00:38:41.340 And that is madness itself.

00:38:43.780 Yeah.

00:38:44.140 Well, our system is broken and it's broken by the same people who continue to complain about it.

00:38:49.300 And that's Congress and Senate.

00:38:51.060 And what it had done.

00:38:52.300 You find somebody I talk to people all the time that are trying to come to this country legally.

00:38:57.760 And they're frustrated because our government is doing nothing to help them.

00:39:01.700 But we've completely opened the door to the people who we don't necessarily want and and people who are willfully breaking the law and are coming to this country illegally. 0.96

00:39:13.180 That seems to be OK.

00:39:14.580 But the people who are trying to do it right, we're not doing it.

00:39:17.720 We're failing them.

00:39:19.200 And the people responsible for that are Senate and Congress.

00:39:22.680 And those very same people are responsible for the integrity of our elections.

00:39:28.520 And they failed miserably in 2020.

00:39:31.960 And I know that the sheriff's group is the sheriff's groups are getting together to to monitor to monitor the upcoming midterm elections.

00:39:43.000 Give us a sense of what the sheriff's across the country.

00:39:45.160 I've got to say this about the sheriff's, too, folks.

00:39:47.380 The sheriff's represent, I think, just absolutely essential, critical law enforcement in this country.

00:39:56.440 For one, nearly all of them are elected.

00:40:00.080 And that is an important counterpoint to the corruption that exists in so many police departments across the country.

00:40:07.820 I'm not saying all police departments are corrupt.

00:40:10.120 I'm saying some are.

00:40:11.360 But I'm telling you, most sheriff's departments are such an important counterweight against police departments that have so many political pressures applied to them.

00:40:21.560 Not that the sheriffs don't have their fair share.

00:40:24.420 But compared to the police departments where they're working for political appointed chiefs and so forth.

00:40:30.140 I just want to say, Sheriff, to you and to all of the sheriffs, you're greatly appreciated.

00:40:35.780 Thank you.

00:40:36.960 And you're sure you're right, Lou.

00:40:38.180 The sheriffs will be the last line of defense in this country.

00:40:40.640 We are elected directly by the people, and there's power in that.

00:40:44.440 The president can't tell me all his executive orders.

00:40:47.260 They don't mean anything to me.

00:40:48.560 If the governor can't tell us what to do, the only people that can tell us what to do are our actual constituents.

00:40:55.740 And it was designed like that as another check and balance into our society.

00:41:01.280 And we recognize that.

00:41:02.600 That's why we started a group called Protect America Now.

00:41:05.740 And you can check that out at protectamericanow.com.

00:41:08.180 Those are sheriffs standing up for the rule of law, against bad policies, and for the constitutional rights of the people.

00:41:14.240 And then, as I saw these election issues, I got a hold of True the Vote, who I think does amazing work trying to protect our elections.

00:41:22.580 And I got a hold of them, and I said, I need to help you.

00:41:24.820 How do we do this?

00:41:25.920 And so I've been working with True the Vote, and now we have protectamerica.vote.

00:41:30.200 Please go support us.

00:41:31.600 And what we're trying to do are our public service announcements so that you know what the laws are, and you can't put more than one ballot in the box.

00:41:39.060 There's very narrow allowances for that.

00:41:43.040 You can't vote for somebody else.

00:41:46.000 We try to educate people on what the voting laws are, and also we give them a conduit.

00:41:51.080 If they see something that's not right, they can report it to us or their local sheriff.

00:41:54.920 And we're going to do the best we can to protect it.

00:41:58.220 I'm working to try to see if I've offered our services for cleaning up our voter rolls.

00:42:03.600 We are going to monitor the videos that are at our ballot boxes every day to make sure that nobody is violating laws there.

00:42:12.480 There is so much that we are able to do as sheriffs, and we're going to do it.

00:42:15.760 And I'll tell you what, the left is coming after me for this.

00:42:18.800 They don't like it.

00:42:19.600 They come at me at every board meeting, and it's because I want election integrity, and that shouldn't matter.

00:42:26.560 It shouldn't matter what your party is, whether you're a Republican or Democrat.

00:42:29.540 We should all want fair elections.

00:42:32.720 Ask Hillary Clinton and Stacey Abrams.

00:42:35.100 They're two of the people that bitch about it the most, about how they were robbed. 1.00

00:42:40.760 Well, everybody should want fair elections, and that's what our goal is, to have fair elections.

00:42:45.340 It doesn't matter party.

00:42:46.360 Well, well said, and we're delighted that you're engaged in it and leading the way.

00:42:56.780 ProtectAmerica.com and ProtectAmerica.Vote.

00:43:01.160 We urge you to go there.

00:43:02.740 We'll be keeping that up on our website, and we'll be letting everybody know through this podcast.

00:43:10.000 We appreciate it.

00:43:10.960 Sheriff, we've reached the point where we give our guests always the last word, and your concluding thoughts, if you will.

00:43:21.780 I just want to say that America is still the greatest country in the world.

00:43:25.140 Don't listen to the media or the politicians that tell you otherwise.

00:43:28.720 That's why over 300,000 people show up to our borders every month, because this is still the greatest country in the world.

00:43:35.060 And, Lou, you and I talked about this before.

00:43:37.840 Don't get caught up in the chaos that these leftists and these progressive want you to see with everything going on.

00:43:45.120 You need to stay focused.

00:43:46.780 You need to have your wits about you.

00:43:48.720 There's a book called As a Man Thinketh by James Allen, and if it's not on your daily or weekly or monthly reading list, please put it on there.

00:43:57.440 As a Man Thinketh.

00:43:58.340 The last quote is also the last quote in my book, American Sheriff, Traditional Values in a Modern World, which you can get on Amazon, or if you get it at a sheriffswife.com, I'll sign a copy of it.

00:44:09.080 But the last quote says,

00:44:10.340 Keep your hand firmly upon the helm of thought.

00:44:14.200 In the bark of your soul reclines the commanding master.

00:44:18.040 He does but sleep.

00:44:20.040 Wake him.

00:44:21.760 Self-control is strength.

00:44:23.160 Right thought is mastery.

00:44:24.220 Calmness is power.

00:44:26.280 Say unto your heart, peace be still.
