00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody, and welcome to The Great America Show.
00:00:05.040 It's great to have you with us today.
00:00:06.540 Thanks so much for joining us.
00:00:07.900 It's a new day in America and a new day for the Marxist dams to have a total meltdown
00:00:12.860 about absolutely nothing.
00:00:14.500 Now, there's plenty for them to be melting down about in this country, but for all the
00:00:18.220 wrong reasons is why they're doing it.
00:00:21.240 Jamie Raskin, Marxist Democrat congressman, sits on the House Oversight Committee with
00:00:26.120 Chairman James Comer, is promising retaliation or retribution, if you will.
00:00:32.020 For those unleashing, quote, fascist chaos on America when the Democrats finally return
00:00:38.040 to power, Raskin is vowing to hold any country or any person accountable for working with
00:00:44.320 America and working with Donald Trump.
00:00:46.480 Don't take my word for it, as I often tell you on the show.
00:00:49.360 His words directly.
00:00:50.360 Take a listen.
00:00:50.820 So I like that idea, and it's a complement to something that we need to be doing right
00:00:58.380 now, which is engaging in far more work of transnational democratic solidarity with the
00:01:07.180 democratic governments and the democratic movements and peoples and parties of the world
00:01:11.320 to try to prevent the spread of the lawlessness and the fascist chaos that's been unleashed against
00:01:18.820 us, but implicit in it should be the idea that if and when we come back to power, and we
00:01:24.880 will, we are not going to look kindly upon people who facilitated, to use a word of the
00:01:33.440 day, who facilitated authoritarianism in our country.
00:01:37.880 That's an assault on our constitution and on our people.
00:01:40.960 That's folks is a very sick, sick, demented individual.
00:01:48.020 Those of you guys who followed impeachment one, impeachment two, any hearing on oversight
00:01:53.000 saw that sick, demented man.
00:01:55.460 That's exactly what he is.
00:01:56.940 That is a man who hates this country, hates America and brutally hates Donald J.
00:02:01.100 Trump.
00:02:01.860 Now, while Raskin was there, and as we sit here on this episode, the great America show
00:02:06.420 for House Democrats are currently on vacation in El Salvador, Congressman Yasmin Ansari,
00:02:13.660 Congressman Maxwell Frost, Congressman Maxine Dexter, and Congressman Robert Garcia all headed
00:02:21.060 down to El Salvador to try to maybe bring back some illegals, to bring back some of these
00:02:27.540 folks who have been deported.
00:02:28.820 I'm not entirely sure.
00:02:30.060 Now, this comes after Senator Van Hollen went down there last week and was brutally embarrassed
00:02:34.460 by the president and vice president of El Salvador, refusing to meet with him.
00:02:39.600 Why he went down there in the first place is foreign to me, to bring back maybe that illegal
00:02:46.780 MS-13 member.
00:02:48.200 I'm not entirely sure.
00:02:49.520 It could have also just been a good old photo op, which is mostly what the Democrats are good
00:02:54.520 for.
00:02:56.120 Folks in New York, good news for you.
00:03:00.100 Tish James, Letitia James, the attorney general.
00:03:02.060 The attacks on her, actually, they're not even attacks.
00:03:06.320 Their truths are ramping up.
00:03:08.800 Last week, we brought to you with Roger Stone, Tish James defrauding mortgage lenders and banks
00:03:16.500 by wrongly representing how many apartments are in her building that she lives in in Brooklyn.
00:03:23.580 She says it was four.
00:03:25.120 There's really five.
00:03:25.980 There's a discrepancy with getting a certain kind of mortgage.
00:03:31.240 It's a HAMP loan.
00:03:32.300 It's only available for four units.
00:03:33.760 So she lied about that.
00:03:35.080 Now, that's just a small part of the problem.
00:03:37.980 You can then go into insurance fraud and how insurance plays a role when you're undersizing
00:03:43.920 it by one unit.
00:03:45.840 That's another part of the issue.
00:03:47.320 The other part of the issue is a loan that she took out on her properties in Norfolk,
00:03:50.820 Virginia, where she said she's living.
00:03:54.540 So when you get an insurance quote or when you get insurance on a home, it's far cheaper
00:04:00.660 when you're living in that home than if you're using it to rent out for obvious reasons.
00:04:06.500 Now, Tish James, of course, telling the mortgage companies and telling the insurance companies
00:04:10.760 that she lives in those homes in Virginia.
00:04:13.740 So now it's not just mortgage fraud and lending fraud.
00:04:17.460 It's turning into insurance fraud.
00:04:19.240 So we'll keep you updated on this story as it continues to progress.
00:04:23.700 But I want to get into our guest today.
00:04:25.660 Our guest today, Mark Simone, good friend of mine, host, The Mark Simone Show on 710WOR,
00:04:32.060 iHeartRadio, wherever you guys get your podcasts.
00:04:35.580 If you're in the New York Tri-State, tune in that radio dial every day from 10 to 12, 710WOR.
00:04:42.100 Mark Simone, as always, it's great to have you with us here on The Great America Show.
00:04:46.040 Let's start with first, we're both New Yorkers.
00:04:48.460 I've been trying to get you on here for a week now.
00:04:50.660 Tish James, it turns out she's not as squeaky clean as she's told us she is.
00:04:55.760 Went after Donald Trump for mortgage fraud, for overvaluation, this, this, this, and that.
00:05:02.460 And it turns out Tish James is just another politician living in a glass house throwing boulders.
00:05:08.140 Well, if this is true, she's not just another politician.
00:05:11.880 This is multiple cases.
00:05:13.200 This is not one or two.
00:05:14.760 This is a lot of them.
00:05:16.540 You know, she went after Trump for something that nobody in the history of the world's ever
00:05:20.340 been charged with.
00:05:21.660 In fact, the first hearing by the appeals court, one of the appeals judges said to the prosecutor,
00:05:26.880 has anybody in the history of the world ever been charged with this?
00:05:29.920 And he said, no.
00:05:32.320 So that's why they've delayed the appeal.
00:05:35.240 You know, normally an appeal would have been heard by now.
00:05:36.900 They're deliberately delaying it because it'll all get tossed out.
00:05:39.520 In her case, the Virginia case where she lied on the application there, saying it was her
00:05:44.840 primary residence, you could find multiple, many cases of people being charged, convicted,
00:05:51.360 and sentenced for that.
00:05:53.100 The case in New York where, now that's a tough one because in New York she lied about how many
00:05:58.580 apartments in order to avoid the rent stabilization and the regulations and save money.
00:06:04.020 That's New York where you get those terrible left-wing kook judges.
00:06:07.260 So anything can happen.
00:06:08.640 The Virginia case, that's the one.
00:06:11.160 If it's all true, and I assume it is, we'll take her down.
00:06:14.880 You have to assume, right?
00:06:16.640 What I'm wondering, Mark, throughout this all, that's her primary residence.
00:06:20.460 Where is she registered to vote?
00:06:22.380 Is she voting in two different places?
00:06:24.720 Yeah.
00:06:24.960 The problem is she claimed Virginia would be the primary residence.
00:06:27.520 Of course, that's impossible.
00:06:29.340 She's the attorney general of New York.
00:06:30.780 So that's mortgage fraud, wire fraud, bank fraud, mail fraud.
00:06:34.260 But even if it was her primary residence, she committed election fraud.
00:06:39.020 New York law requires the attorney general to live in New York.
00:06:41.780 So there's no way out of this.
00:06:44.020 And she's going to claim, I know she's hinted, she'll claim it's a representative that did this
00:06:49.340 paperwork, had nothing to do with her.
00:06:51.440 That doesn't matter.
00:06:52.800 Under the law, you're responsible for the truth of anything you sign.
00:06:56.360 And remember, Trump claimed, I didn't do it.
00:06:59.300 The bookkeeper did it.
00:07:00.080 And they said, that's not a valid excuse.
00:07:02.320 Right.
00:07:02.760 And they went after the book.
00:07:03.680 They went after Alan Weisselberg, this elderly man who Donald Trump paid for the grandkid to
00:07:09.000 go to school and he didn't claim it on his tax returns.
00:07:11.400 This woman's full on committing mortgage fraud, lying about properties, about how many apartments,
00:07:16.980 not as just mortgage fraud, but it's issues with the housing authority.
00:07:23.880 If you have illegal apartments here in New York, which is a very common thing, you know,
00:07:27.660 letting someone live in a basement, which is considered in New York inhabitable.
00:07:31.060 You can't live there.
00:07:31.860 Why, in your opinion, Mark, would she go after Donald Trump so hard?
00:07:36.980 Now, she could have went after him for probably a lot of other things that she could have cooked
00:07:40.580 up.
00:07:40.920 Right.
00:07:41.380 It wasn't just this.
00:07:42.620 She went after him specifically on real estate crimes.
00:07:45.520 She had to know, Mark, in the back of her head that this would eventually come out.
00:07:49.120 Right.
00:07:50.120 It's actually a tribute to Donald Trump because they went after they looked at him.
00:07:54.300 They gave him an investigation like nobody's ever had.
00:07:56.880 And that's the only thing they could find.
00:07:59.100 And even that's not a crime.
00:08:00.220 And by the way, in the end, you're claiming he overvalued his apartment.
00:08:04.300 Right.
00:08:04.640 Whatever.
00:08:05.160 In the end, when they look at the actual facts, the appeals court, apartments that were called
00:08:10.500 comparable sold for exactly that price.
00:08:13.120 So his price was absolutely correct.
00:08:15.840 Why would she do it?
00:08:16.800 Because it's the hypocrisy Democrats are famous for.
00:08:21.160 They always do this.
00:08:22.460 Whatever they accuse you of, they're always doing themselves.
00:08:25.340 Well, it wasn't even just Tish James.
00:08:27.820 You remember that, man, I'm trying to be nice, Mark.
00:08:31.180 It was just Easter.
00:08:32.500 I don't want to call him an idiot, but I have no choice.
00:08:35.060 The judge who said that Mar-a-Lago is worth like $18 million.
00:08:38.880 It was like a coup, Mark, of just some of the dumbest people you could find in New York
00:08:43.440 that came together and agreed on what we're going to charge Donald Trump for and what
00:08:47.120 we're going to get him on.
00:08:48.400 And you literally couldn't have found a dumber group of people to say dumber things than
00:08:52.440 they said.
00:08:53.000 Yeah, every Palm Beach real estate expert has put Mar-a-Lago at between $1.2 billion
00:08:58.520 and $1.5 billion.
00:09:00.380 There's a little house.
00:09:02.040 It's not much of a house.
00:09:03.040 It's a little house next to Mar-a-Lago.
00:09:04.940 Yes.
00:09:05.260 That just sold two weeks ago for $18 million.
00:09:08.520 So there you go.
00:09:10.100 You know, it's just the, they're so blind with hatred and rage.
00:09:13.840 You know, even the, they went after the Trump CFO because he used a company car and driver.
00:09:19.160 And he didn't put it on his taxes.
00:09:21.540 He was prosecuted by the local district attorney who every day had a company car and driver
00:09:27.020 that he doesn't, I guarantee he doesn't declare it on his taxes, but he came to court every
00:09:30.980 day with a car and driver paid for by us.
00:09:33.440 Yeah, for the people who don't, for us people who don't get, you know, luxury cars to work
00:09:39.540 every day, not that I need one to get to my studio, but you're supposed to take a tax
00:09:44.000 deduction.
00:09:44.480 Nobody absolutely does it because in the grand scheme, you know, for an executive who's making
00:09:48.840 10, 15, $20 million, $100,000, it's oversaw.
00:09:52.640 And I mean, these guys get reamed out enough in taxes.
00:09:55.480 Now I have so many people, Mark on Twitter telling me, oh, you know, it's just another waste
00:09:59.700 of time.
00:10:00.800 Nobody cares about Tish James.
00:10:02.280 She's going to be tried in New York, but I disagree because this is a federal case and
00:10:06.260 the SDNY, one thing people could agree on is everybody in New York, mostly everybody in
00:10:11.640 the political world hates Tish James.
00:10:13.220 She took down their beloved Andrew Cuomo, got him out of office, ran for a failed governorship.
00:10:18.240 I don't know any Democrat politician in New York, forget about Republicans, who actually
00:10:24.780 like this woman.
00:10:25.540 So the way I see it, Mark, is that it's finally a way for them to get this woman out of there
00:10:30.180 and get their own people in there who they want.
00:10:32.400 Do you agree?
00:10:33.980 Yeah.
00:10:34.260 Also, you got to remember there's a curse on the New York attorney general's office.
00:10:37.760 I think four of the last five have all ended up in legal trouble.
00:10:42.040 Andrew Cuomo was one, that Dennis, forget his name, Dennis, whatever, got caught in a
00:10:47.260 taking money from garbage contract where he was gone.
00:10:51.260 There's a whole list.
00:10:52.440 Elliot Spitzer, whoever's in that attorney general's office, like 90 percent of the time
00:10:57.060 ends up with criminal charges.
00:10:59.000 Was Anthony Weiner ever in that office?
00:11:00.820 No, but it'd be perfect for him.
00:11:03.160 So let's let's talk about that a little bit, be it in New York, because we've got a mayoral
00:11:06.980 race coming up here.
00:11:08.100 And, Mark, it's literally like the same thing as this Trump case.
00:11:12.240 You couldn't pull together a bigger group of misfits to run for this office.
00:11:16.040 You've got Cuomo, who it's no joke, killed people's grandparents in nursing homes.
00:11:21.060 You've got Anthony Weiner, who's sending unsolicited pictures to minors.
00:11:25.700 You've got Mayor Eric Adams, who was just expunged of all his charges for whatever the hell he
00:11:32.240 did.
00:11:32.500 Am I missing any people who are under some sort of indictment or have been under some sort
00:11:36.760 of indictment?
00:11:37.960 Well, in Eric Adams' defense, compared to these other people, he now looks like Winston Churchill.
00:11:42.380 He looks like a leader compared to these guys.
00:11:44.700 Andrew Cuomo single-handedly caused the crime wave we're going through right now.
00:11:49.760 He's the guy that pushed the no bail, no jail and signed it.
00:11:53.140 He's the guy that bragged about closing the prisons, letting the prisoners out.
00:11:57.060 He's the guy that changed our parole board.
00:11:59.180 He put in 12 left-wing wackos.
00:12:02.180 They've let out every criminal.
00:12:03.860 They've already let out 43 cop killers.
00:12:07.520 He's the guy that can go on and on with this list.
00:12:10.440 He's the guy that closed Indian Point.
00:12:11.960 He's the guy that picked this horrible governor, Kathy Hochul, and said she'd be great.
00:12:18.080 There's two governors, Newsom and Cuomo.
00:12:21.100 They look great.
00:12:22.140 They sound great.
00:12:23.120 They give you a great speech, a great press conference.
00:12:25.620 But they're salesmen.
00:12:27.080 They're not managers.
00:12:28.520 They're great salesmen and campaigners.
00:12:30.400 But you put them in office, they'll make every wrong decision you can make.
00:12:34.340 Cuomo is so dumb, too.
00:12:35.640 He resigned for, I don't even remember what it was, taking a picture, putting his hand on some woman saying he's Italian.
00:12:41.880 He resigned for literally all the wrong reasons.
00:12:43.880 As he's killing people's grandparents in the nursing home, this guy resigned, apparently, because he told us he's Italian.
00:12:50.060 That was what he used?
00:12:51.140 He said he was Italian.
00:12:52.100 He can't control his hands?
00:12:53.180 Some of these cases are borderline.
00:12:57.680 Some of these cases, I think he's innocent.
00:12:59.840 But there's like 11 of them or 14 of them.
00:13:02.860 They're not all so innocent.
00:13:04.500 It also comes out now he was having an affair with his chief of staff who was married.
00:13:09.740 It was an extramarital affair.
00:13:11.340 He's not married, though, right?
00:13:12.700 No.
00:13:13.940 It's because his wife left him, I think.
00:13:15.540 But it's an absolute, if this were a Republican and he had just one of these things, it'd be immediately out of the race.
00:13:24.720 He comes through an odd family, too.
00:13:26.180 His brother's a total whack job.
00:13:28.000 I think he experiences like roid rage very often.
00:13:31.340 I watched an interview he did the other day with Grant Cardone, who I had on the show two weeks before that.
00:13:37.640 And the first 15 minutes of the interview, Mark, Chris Cuomo is trying to convince Grant Cardone that Anthony Scaramucci is good looking.
00:13:44.420 And Grant's sitting there.
00:13:46.060 He's like, dude, we're both married men.
00:13:49.540 Why are we talking about Anthony Scaramucci?
00:13:51.740 And Cuomo's going back, no, but he's just a good looking Italian guy.
00:13:55.400 And I'm sitting there watching.
00:13:56.520 I'm like, how the hell does anyone watch this guy?
00:13:59.840 Well, Scaramucci, I guess he's good looking, but in a Las Vegas pit boss sort of way.
00:14:07.700 It's like a bad Steve Wynn kind of good looking.
00:14:10.740 You know?
00:14:11.200 Oh, it's brilliant.
00:14:15.200 You mentioned bail reform and prison reform on how they've completely screwed this up in New York.
00:14:19.740 I'm going through my morning reads this morning.
00:14:22.100 I see Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana puts out all these cute videos during Hunter Biden.
00:14:28.060 He said, you know, don't call the cops when you're in trouble.
00:14:29.940 Call a local crackhead.
00:14:31.600 And I see him put out something.
00:14:32.800 He says something so stupid.
00:14:34.200 So Donald Trump's looking at maybe sending some of our worst criminals here in America to prisons outside of America, right?
00:14:43.600 Cutting some costs.
00:14:44.780 He's a businessman.
00:14:46.100 I don't know what the number is, but it's exorbitantly high, like over 100,000 a person to house someone here in America as a prisoner.
00:14:52.520 And he puts out this thing and he says, you know, I don't agree with sending criminals overseas.
00:14:57.680 And I'm saying to myself, you know, Senator, I don't remember ever reading anywhere in the Constitution after due process, after the bill of due process, where it says we must house our prisoners in country club like prison places.
00:15:11.280 Because it's like even the Republicans are upside down on their heads right now, Mark, it seems to me.
00:15:17.020 Yeah.
00:15:17.260 But, you know, he never actually said that.
00:15:19.320 He was talking about criminals and sending them to that prison.
00:15:22.240 And then he was talking about some of our worst criminals there, hitting old ladies over the head or throwing them in a subway train.
00:15:27.820 And he said, boy, we should probably send them there.
00:15:30.020 It was just, you know, it was not a serious plan.
00:15:34.280 It was just him being dramatic.
00:15:36.280 But the problem is most people are not used to a non-politician in office.
00:15:42.040 And most people have never been around a billionaire.
00:15:44.720 And if you hang around these guys, that's what they do.
00:15:47.320 They throw out all kinds of ideas constantly, risky ideas.
00:15:50.980 They throw them out and let everybody argue about them.
00:15:53.700 That's just the way they operate.
00:15:55.100 That's how you become a Jeff Bezos, an Elon Musk.
00:15:57.540 You dream big, toss out all kinds of ideas, try anything and everything.
00:16:01.980 And they say whatever they think.
00:16:04.000 And most people are not used to it.
00:16:06.280 My favorite thing, Mark, which you've been talking about on your show, Senator Van Hollen went down to Seacott Prison to try to go see his amigo.
00:16:22.180 What's his name?
00:16:23.120 Abrego Garcia.
00:16:23.900 Well, he goes down there and now the pushback is like through the roof because this guy, this U.S. senator is going down to get an illegal migrant who committed crimes, who's a gang member, to bring him back here.
00:16:37.220 Didn't sign the Lake and Riley bill, never went down to our southern border, doesn't care about crime.
00:16:42.140 You know, just your typical Democrat, Mark.
00:16:45.860 But now this guy comes back and he says, can we stop talking about this guy, Abrego's crime list?
00:16:53.240 Can we just stop talking about it?
00:16:54.760 I don't endorse that.
00:16:56.320 Well, dude, you just got on a plane.
00:16:57.600 You went down to El Salvador to visit the guy.
00:16:59.720 Which one is it?
00:17:00.780 Well, it was obviously just a cheap photo op publicity stunt, but give credit to the El Salvadorian president who outmaneuvered him with the with the he had to meet him at the hotel by the outside by the pool.
00:17:13.540 He had got him some clothes.
00:17:16.000 And we're supposed to be all upset, crying for this guy.
00:17:19.020 Most people are watching this going, that's a nice shirt.
00:17:21.080 Where do you get that shirt?
00:17:21.820 So here's here's the big problem of it.
00:17:24.760 Democrats made a huge tactical error.
00:17:27.200 They should have acknowledged immediately that this guy's a gang member, that this guy's a bad guy.
00:17:32.020 And their argument should have been, I don't care if he's a gang member or a bad guy.
00:17:35.380 We've got to protect the rights of criminals.
00:17:38.680 They should have done it that way.
00:17:39.920 By denying he's a gang member, there's a ton of evidence that he is.
00:17:43.480 In the end, they'll lose this battle.
00:17:45.260 It'll be proven he's a gang member.
00:17:46.880 And then they'll look ridiculous.
00:17:48.960 Are you surprised, though, Mark?
00:17:50.080 You've been in this game probably like a lot longer than me.
00:17:53.660 But are you surprised that the Democrats have gone this off the wall, this damn crazy, that they're willing to come out and say, we support illegal criminals?
00:18:03.780 Well, Gavin Newsom said it over the weekend.
00:18:05.820 I don't know what made him say this, but he said, you're all just a bunch of sheep now.
00:18:09.380 You're just giving knee-jerk reactions to anything Trump does.
00:18:12.200 Whatever he does, you just do the opposite.
00:18:14.320 And he said, he's playing you.
00:18:15.900 He's pushing you to take the wrong stance and then coming after you for it.
00:18:20.380 So, and it's true.
00:18:22.300 They're all sheep just bleeding whatever they're told to do.
00:18:25.740 President Trump is master, master troll.
00:18:28.980 That's for damn sure.
00:18:30.940 Mark, let's turn to Christy Noem this week, sitting in a D.C. restaurant on Easter Sunday and got robbed.
00:18:40.000 Now, a man walked in with a surgical mask on and, you know, one of those cheap blue masks, steals her pocketbook, which happens to be carrying her passport, her DOJ documents, $3,000 in cash, which that seems like a lot of, for someone like me, I carry probably anywhere from 15 to 20 bucks on me at any given point.
00:18:59.160 But we're supposed to have a reformed DOJ, a reformed Secret Service, but it's like business as usual.
00:19:08.080 How the hell does the Department of Homeland Security get robbed?
00:19:11.460 Oh, easy.
00:19:12.020 Just move to D.C.
00:19:14.040 Just go to a restaurant in D.C., walk around D.C.
00:19:16.640 It's one big crime zone.
00:19:18.820 And the better question, she's carrying a passport and thousands in cash.
00:19:22.360 Was she getting ready to go on the lam?
00:19:23.620 I mean, she hasn't explained that.
00:19:26.860 But, yeah, it's just a great example of D.C. being totally out of control.
00:19:31.920 President Trump has threatened to send in the military or whatever he has to send in to take over D.C.
00:19:37.580 It is under the control, eventually, of the federal government and just clean it up.
00:19:42.680 Well, so let's let's talk about that a little bit.
00:19:44.480 The federal government, Cash Patel, you know, promised.
00:19:47.400 I mean, just about everybody was going to dismantle the FBI.
00:19:50.540 He was going to dismantle the agency.
00:19:51.720 Now, you know, I'm not going to go ahead and attack Cash just yet.
00:19:56.100 He is a friend.
00:19:57.160 But, I mean, are you surprised?
00:19:59.460 Did you think we were going to see more action?
00:20:01.520 Now, Dan Bongino gives up a cushy $10 million a year gig on his Rumble show to go back to the FBI.
00:20:07.680 And it makes you wonder, you know, does this guy really want to do something good?
00:20:11.100 And now we, you know, we watch what happens.
00:20:13.080 And it seems like it's just business as usual from two men who told us they were going to dismantle the FBI.
00:20:18.960 They were going to gut the whole thing.
00:20:20.800 I mean, you know, we're a few months in now and it seems like nothing has changed.
00:20:25.240 Well, yeah, but you got to be fair.
00:20:26.460 I mean, they've only been in office.
00:20:27.440 And President Trump's only been there 15 minutes.
00:20:29.240 Of course, of course.
00:20:30.260 Cash Patel, five minutes.
00:20:32.080 First, you got to figure out where, you know, learn the ropes, learn the whole thing, learn the building you're in, the system, all that.
00:20:38.520 And eventually you'll get it done.
00:20:40.580 But, I mean, you're right.
00:20:43.180 Democrats really, really, really come through when it comes to lawfare.
00:20:47.640 Peter Navarro in shackles, Steve Bannon in prison.
00:20:50.800 And a lot of people saying when it comes to Republicans, they just don't do it.
00:20:54.500 They never actually lock anybody up.
00:20:57.100 They never actually arrest anybody.
00:20:58.580 But we'll see.
00:20:59.360 In the end, they better do it.
00:21:00.400 But it's too soon to go after them on it.
00:21:03.780 I mean, I agree with you to an extent.
00:21:06.220 And we're going to clip this and we're going to come back to visit this if you're wrong.
00:21:10.800 But don't you think, though, that they should give us something, Mark?
00:21:15.720 Give us something to hold out hope.
00:21:17.880 I've been asking and begging for the Jeffrey Epstein documents since January 20th.
00:21:24.140 Give us something to hold out hope to let us know.
00:21:27.660 We got your back.
00:21:28.540 We're on your side.
00:21:29.300 But then I turn on the news or I read the news, Mark, and it's like, oh, this guy who
00:21:35.020 went after January Sixers is now a FBI agent who went after Jay Sixers has now been promoted
00:21:39.700 to the Las Vegas field office.
00:21:41.160 This January 6th guy who went after January 6th, he's been promoted to the D.C.
00:21:44.980 field office.
00:21:46.300 We sit here, Mark, and we're like, hello.
00:21:51.080 Again, it's early.
00:21:52.200 You've got to figure out who you can trust, who you can't trust.
00:21:54.360 There's nothing in those Epstein documents.
00:21:56.840 It's going to be flight logs and all that.
00:21:58.300 But I wish they would send an incredible team to that prison in Manhattan and find out who
00:22:04.280 killed them.
00:22:05.120 It was obviously a plot.
00:22:07.480 Absolutely impossible that all those things could have gone wrong at once.
00:22:11.560 So I wish they would investigate that, get to the bottom of that.
00:22:15.140 But, you know, it's like the JFK files.
00:22:17.340 It's Oswald's dental records.
00:22:19.460 Jack Ruby's tax record.
00:22:20.560 I mean, those forms were paper for 30 years.
00:22:24.920 I would assume they've been cleaned and cleaned out and cleansed a million times over the 60s,
00:22:30.300 70s, 80s.
00:22:31.340 Anything bad was taken out of there.
00:22:33.660 So I had on the other day, you might get a kick out of this.
00:22:36.500 I had Roger Stone on.
00:22:37.360 We sat down for an hour in studio.
00:22:39.220 And we, you know, we just BS pretty much.
00:22:42.260 You know, we talked about all random things and bounce things off each other.
00:22:45.400 And we get into, which we're going to talk about, Bill Maher and Steve Bannon going on Bill Maher.
00:22:51.440 And, you know, Roger talks about Steve Bannon testifying against him and then talks about Steve Bannon
00:22:56.940 working on a film with Epstein, 15-hour film that never came out and never released.
00:23:02.240 Mark, so I went into it and I said, you know, I don't care who's on the, if we get an Epstein list,
00:23:06.880 I want to know who's on, a Republican or Democrat.
00:23:09.140 I don't, if Donald Trump's on the list, I want to know if he was on Epstein Island.
00:23:12.200 I think every single person in America would want to know, right?
00:23:15.740 So I start getting hate mail on Twitter, on email, on Instagram.
00:23:21.960 You've lost me now.
00:23:23.320 You've gone after Republicans.
00:23:24.540 And I'm like, no, I'm reporting the news.
00:23:27.360 If something is newsworthy, this is factual.
00:23:29.960 Steve Bannon sat down with Jeffrey Epstein and coached him for his depositions.
00:23:34.900 That's newsworthy information.
00:23:37.020 And these people are going crazy at me, like, well, you've lost us.
00:23:40.480 You're going against Republicans.
00:23:41.640 You know what?
00:23:42.740 At the end of the day, Mark, I'm an American.
00:23:44.240 I'm America first.
00:23:45.320 I'm not Republican first.
00:23:46.400 I'm not Democrat first.
00:23:47.560 I just want the truth to come out.
00:23:49.580 Am I still wrong for that?
00:23:51.760 Yeah.
00:23:52.380 Well, you got to remember, Epstein was a major figure in New York and Palm Beach and the
00:23:56.700 society world, the business world.
00:23:59.020 He was everywhere.
00:24:00.580 I was warned a long time ago to stay away from him by two people just warned me, don't go
00:24:07.040 near this guy.
00:24:07.900 He's bad.
00:24:08.260 One was a guy you wouldn't know.
00:24:10.180 Another was Donald Trump, because Epstein had been a member of Mar-a-Lago.
00:24:15.100 And in his first two years there, went after a young girl in the locker room.
00:24:19.580 Trump found out, threw him out, ostracized him, and warned me and warned a lot of people
00:24:23.820 to stay away from him.
00:24:25.820 And one thing I remember about Epstein, it wasn't just young girls.
00:24:28.660 That was the case with some people and Epstein himself.
00:24:32.640 But he got you whatever you wanted.
00:24:34.540 Bill Clinton, like 40-year-old floozies, Jennifer Flowers types.
00:24:38.120 He got him that.
00:24:39.760 Bill Gates, like these mousy librarian types in their 40s.
00:24:42.740 Wait, are you saying Bill Clinton's cheating on his wife?
00:24:45.340 Well, I hate to break it to you, but yeah.
00:24:48.420 The best one is Bill Gates going there over and over.
00:24:51.280 He said, well, I was trying to raise money for my charity.
00:24:55.980 And Bill Gates has $120 billion.
00:24:59.560 This guy has $40 million.
00:25:01.680 And he said there was a charity meeting about the charity.
00:25:05.540 He was there five and a half hours.
00:25:07.480 I work with a lot of charities.
00:25:08.760 I've been in a lot of meetings.
00:25:09.880 I never saw one go past 45 minutes.
00:25:12.420 Not five.
00:25:13.240 There's no five and a half hour charity meeting.
00:25:15.520 You know, you see these guys, too.
00:25:18.500 We hung out with Mark.
00:25:19.280 None of them are like straight edge guys, like a Mark Simone, like a Lou Dobbs, like a Tucker Carlson.
00:25:28.060 It was always these guys that you look at and you're like, you know, I maybe wouldn't leave my kid with that guy.
00:25:34.580 The Bill Gates, the Clintons of the world.
00:25:39.000 Just people you look at and you cringe a little bit.
00:25:41.740 And I think that's a testament as to who Jeffrey Epstein was.
00:25:45.520 Well, he was a good looking guy.
00:25:47.020 Very well dressed, looked very, you know, suave.
00:25:49.680 And until he opened his mouth, he'd go, how are you?
00:25:51.940 And, you know, he had that accent.
00:25:53.960 But he had one talent.
00:25:55.560 He could meet you and within 30 seconds figure out what you wanted and get it for you.
00:26:00.060 Whatever it is you wanted, he would deliver it.
00:26:03.200 The accent.
00:26:04.080 You know, I was online in an Italian deli in Staten Island over the weekend, Mark.
00:26:09.320 And there's a woman in front of me and she's on the phone.
00:26:12.280 And she's the New York accent thing is we really do get a bad route.
00:26:16.400 Now, mine's not as bad.
00:26:18.420 Yours, I don't think is as bad because, you know, you have no choice.
00:26:21.540 You're on the radio.
00:26:22.400 I'm from the Midwest.
00:26:23.620 There you go.
00:26:24.360 But I'm sitting in line and I'm listening to this woman and she's on the phone going, yeah, I'm getting the sauce and the mozzarella.
00:26:31.740 And I'm sitting there.
00:26:32.620 I'm like, oh, man, I please don't tell me I sound like that.
00:26:35.460 I'll have no viewers on here.
00:26:37.800 You don't sound like that.
00:26:38.640 But if you ever go to, if you see the pictures of Mar-a-Lago, the gowns, the jewelry, they look incredible.
00:26:43.560 When you're actually there, all these women come over and you go, how are you?
00:26:47.160 They all sound like that.
00:26:49.160 That's one reason, by the way, Melania just stays out of that dining room.
00:26:52.460 She can't listen to this.
00:26:53.900 I had a girlfriend, Mark, who lived on Long Island, and I cringed any time someone when I was with her, very beautiful girl, but I cringed any time someone would talk to her and ask her where she's from, she'd say Long Island.
00:27:07.620 And I'm like, oh, no, please don't do this to me.
00:27:11.580 People don't understand if you're not from New York that the different kind of accents that we have here are just they're up there with people from Boston and from Massachusetts.
00:27:23.900 Let's turn to Bill Maher, Mark.
00:27:30.500 I have an issue with these Republicans propping up Bill Maher.
00:27:34.140 Lou Dobbs used to tell me, Mark, Democrats are Democrats.
00:27:37.320 We don't carry their water.
00:27:39.380 OK, let them do what they want to do.
00:27:41.480 We're not going to prop them up.
00:27:42.560 We're not going to carry their water.
00:27:44.100 Now I turn and I see people are championing Stephen A. Smith now right now.
00:27:48.100 People are championing Bill Maher as like the voice of reason for the Democratic Party.
00:27:52.640 Why are we I'm saying Republicans?
00:27:56.100 Why are Republicans sitting there propping up guys like Bill Maher, letting them be a voice of reason for the Democrats?
00:28:01.760 It's not our job to do.
00:28:03.520 Well, you lump those two guys together.
00:28:05.540 Stephen A. Smith looks amazing.
00:28:07.280 He looks charming, handsome.
00:28:10.340 He's got the greatest suits.
00:28:11.880 He's full of energy and that.
00:28:13.720 But if you actually listen to him at great length, there's nothing he says that you would ever want to remember.
00:28:18.280 He says absolutely nothing.
00:28:19.620 There's no no substance here.
00:28:21.280 But Maher is a brilliant guy.
00:28:23.340 I mean, definitely crazy political beliefs at times.
00:28:27.900 I just heard that like a thousand people just tuned out.
00:28:31.080 Go ahead.
00:28:31.800 I know.
00:28:33.200 A lot of these guys are brilliant.
00:28:34.680 You know, George Soros, the most evil man on Earth.
00:28:37.680 But he's a brilliant guy.
00:28:38.900 He made billions of dollars.
00:28:40.040 There are evil geniuses.
00:28:41.920 Maher and I are old friends.
00:28:42.860 We go back a million years.
00:28:44.260 You got to give him some credit, though.
00:28:47.500 As crazy as he is politically, he will actually come to his senses sometimes for a couple of minutes at a time and once in a while say the right thing.
00:28:56.820 So you got to give him a little credit for that.
00:28:59.200 But is it genuine, Mark?
00:29:00.440 Or is it because nobody's watching his show anymore?
00:29:03.500 No, it's genuine.
00:29:04.820 And once in a million years, you'll hear Jon Stewart do it, you know, in the middle of that covering up the lab leak.
00:29:11.080 Got to give Stewart credit.
00:29:12.360 He came right ahead.
00:29:13.200 I met Jon Stewart.
00:29:13.880 Yeah.
00:29:14.340 Go ahead.
00:29:14.720 Sorry.
00:29:16.180 Again, Stewart, same thing.
00:29:17.560 A very, very smart guy.
00:29:19.520 Totally crazy politically.
00:29:20.800 But I guess it's important to give him credit that once in a while these guys will say the truth.
00:29:27.720 Stewart, I have a certain respect for.
00:29:29.760 I met Stewart when I was working at Fox News when he was, I mean, gung-ho for the 9-11 Victims Fund.
00:29:35.280 And he did a lot of work.
00:29:36.260 So I have a special respect as an uncle who passed away from 9-11 cancer for Jon Stewart for doing the right thing.
00:29:43.220 But, yeah, totally crazy.
00:29:44.920 There are some people, Mark, who are Marxist leftists who are good people, I think, genuinely down.
00:29:50.840 There's very far and few in between.
00:29:52.800 But the way I see it for a guy like Bill Morris, his ratings are in the tubes.
00:29:56.360 He's getting beat by, like, Sesame Street on PBS, even the Afghanistanian version.
00:30:01.460 They're running over there.
00:30:02.940 And he's waking up now and he's like, oh, maybe the audience doesn't want me to go this far left.
00:30:07.540 Maybe I should go a little bit further right.
00:30:09.820 That's fine.
00:30:10.600 Do your own thing.
00:30:11.620 Continue to have on Ann Coulter.
00:30:13.020 Lou Dobbs, by the way, used to go on Bill Maher's show every now and then.
00:30:18.440 So I just don't see why it should be incumbent upon the Republicans.
00:30:22.780 We have our own issues inside the Republican Party to deal with.
00:30:26.400 Why the hell are we championing Bill Maher?
00:30:28.360 That's just the way I'm looking at it.
00:30:30.660 Well, you're not championing him.
00:30:31.840 You're giving him credit every once in a million years when he says something that makes sense.
00:30:36.720 And the best thing he does is that podcast called Club Random.
00:30:39.800 It's usually an hour and a half.
00:30:41.040 It's up on YouTube.
00:30:42.760 They're really good.
00:30:43.640 The last episode was Charlie Kirk for an hour and a half.
00:30:46.840 That's where I saw money.
00:30:47.800 I got to be honest.
00:30:48.340 I don't watch much.
00:30:49.700 I listen to your radio show maybe twice a week in the car and I watch Joe Rogan.
00:30:55.020 Honestly, Joe Rogan puts on, Mark, the best podcast, in my opinion, that I've ever heard.
00:31:00.880 It's literally Joe Rogan sitting down for two and a half hours, bullshitting back and forth with whoever his guest is, doesn't pretend like he knows things.
00:31:07.880 If he doesn't know something, he has his producer sit there and pull it up.
00:31:11.120 It's the most brilliant and transparent podcast.
00:31:13.280 I don't know if you ever watched it, but it's amazing.
00:31:15.360 Well, I thought my podcast is the most brilliant and transparent podcast, and I get it done in like 20 minutes.
00:31:20.380 We don't need four hours.
00:31:22.940 There's only one problem, Mark.
00:31:24.380 They paid him like $120 billion for that damn thing.
00:31:27.680 Well, you know what Rogan is?
00:31:28.920 We've always had a guy like this.
00:31:30.540 It was Larry King for decades, a guy who would have anybody and everybody on from both sides, from politics, from entertainment.
00:31:37.140 So Rogan is the new Larry King, and that was a big, important show back in its day, Larry King.
00:31:43.160 Did you ever see Trump sit down with Larry King, and Larry King gets close to Trump, and Trump looks at him and goes, you've really got to back up.
00:31:51.560 Your breath stinks, and this is on live television.
00:31:57.300 Oh, man.
00:31:58.140 The stuff Trump does, it's very candid and very honest, I mean, even if it is on live television, Mark.
00:32:03.560 Well, you know, if you watch that clip, he didn't actually have bad breath.
00:32:06.440 It was a Trump trick.
00:32:07.940 He said, I did that to you deliberately, because now you won't be able to think of anything else.
00:32:11.900 Now you're going to be self-conscious.
00:32:13.340 You give me an advantage over you in the interview.
00:32:15.620 Now you're going to be so worried about your breath that I'll have the advantage.
00:32:18.960 He is absolutely brilliant.
00:32:21.800 Mark, what would you do if I could tell you, you can retire tomorrow, and you get paid $3.5 million in your first year of retirement.
00:32:30.640 Would you retire?
00:32:32.340 No.
00:32:32.680 Well, you know, for an average person, they'd probably retire, right?
00:32:36.780 Someone who's working in the government making $200,000, $300,000 a year.
00:32:40.600 Anthony Fauci, in his first year of retirement, Mark, made $3.5 million last year.
00:32:46.020 How the hell did he do it?
00:32:47.380 Well, in his defense, he works his ass off running around telling these lies everywhere.
00:32:52.020 He makes up a whole other story and another stupid explanation.
00:32:55.780 But that's what happens when you leave and you're a Michelle Obama or an Anthony Fauci or even a Biden.
00:33:01.520 You get a $15 million book deal.
00:33:03.640 You get all kinds of money to speak.
00:33:05.380 You get money to do this and that.
00:33:07.460 And he is a cute guy.
00:33:08.900 He's a cute little elf on TV.
00:33:12.200 And they love him.
00:33:13.700 You know, I think the Fed chairman, Jerome Powell, I think he's trying to turn himself into the new Anthony Fauci, the darling of the left.
00:33:21.680 Oh, boy.
00:33:22.440 And I think at some point he leaves and then he's going to pull a Fauci.
00:33:25.500 He'll make millions speaking books, the whole thing.
00:33:29.080 The only problem is he's a lawyer.
00:33:31.860 Nobody – it's like the universally hated person, Mark.
00:33:34.620 Like, everyone hates lawyers.
00:33:36.540 I don't know what it is.
00:33:37.820 Maybe they're trained to lie.
00:33:39.880 Fauci's a medical bureaucrat.
00:33:41.380 We hate them too.
00:33:42.880 Well, we used to like them before COVID-19.
00:33:46.080 We used to say Fauci is Churchill with a – no, what do we used to call him?
00:33:51.380 Bernie Madoff with a stethoscope.
00:33:52.960 Oh, man.
00:33:53.660 That's a good one.
00:33:54.860 Did you know Bernie Madoff?
00:33:56.480 I met him a couple of times.
00:33:58.120 He was another one.
00:33:58.980 Very, very quiet guy.
00:34:00.980 And he looked distinguished with the gray hair.
00:34:03.520 And then when you'd say hello, he'd go, how are you?
00:34:06.080 With the same accent.
00:34:08.820 He was quiet, Mark, because as he was shaking your hand with one hand, he had his hand in your back pocket and the other one finding your wallet.
00:34:13.860 But I don't know where you find, Mark.
00:34:20.360 I feel like I'm repeating myself because it's time and time again, regardless of what point of the government you go to, you find these misfits of people who have just been hanger honors who sit there and do absolutely nothing and get paid all this money to be total buffoons.
00:34:36.900 Jamie Raskin, Congressman Jamie Raskin, or as James Comer likes to call him, Jamie Raskins, is promising retaliation for those, quote, unleashing fascist chaos on America, which means any world leader who decides to work with Donald Trump.
00:34:52.840 Now, these, Mark, are supposed to be the tolerant leftists who love America.
00:34:57.300 They tell us they love America.
00:34:59.500 Promising.
00:35:00.320 That sounds like retribution to me.
00:35:02.740 Well, first of all, if you're a world leader, if you're the president of France and they tell you Jamie Raskin is threatening to come after you, all you're going to say is, who is this?
00:35:12.840 Who?
00:35:14.340 If you took a picture of Jamie Raskin, went right outside here in New York City and showed it to people, 99.9% couldn't tell you who he is.
00:35:21.000 He has absolutely no power to do anything.
00:35:23.520 These guys, and, you know, like Chuck Schumer is a good example.
00:35:26.360 He puts on the little Ben Franklin glasses, the cheap sport coat.
00:35:29.800 Yeah.
00:35:30.100 And they make these stupid speeches.
00:35:31.800 He's never done anything for anybody.
00:35:33.880 There's no accomplishments.
00:35:36.520 We had the riots in New York.
00:35:38.040 He left town.
00:35:38.700 We couldn't find him.
00:35:40.100 The anti-Semitism in Columbia University, right in his own backyard, never shows up there.
00:35:45.260 He never does anything.
00:35:46.460 These guys just talk.
00:35:47.920 They never actually do anything.
00:35:48.980 That's one, Mark, that blows my mind, because the Jewish community is probably the most tight-knit community of any ethnic group, of any religious group.
00:35:59.320 They stick together, the Jewish community, and they unite behind each other.
00:36:03.260 Then you've got Chuck Schumer, who's like a self-hating Jew.
00:36:06.560 It's the strangest thing in the world that he runs from his religion in the name of Marxism.
00:36:12.760 In his defense, he hates everybody.
00:36:16.980 I don't think it's his Jews.
00:36:18.240 He hates everybody.
00:36:19.720 He does absolutely nothing.
00:36:21.260 His only purpose in life, his only job is donor service.
00:36:26.200 That's all he does all day and night is take care of donors.
00:36:29.080 And that's why Republicans here in New York support him like crazy.
00:36:32.640 And if you say why, they'll say, I could wake this guy up at three in the morning.
00:36:36.340 He'll do anything I want.
00:36:37.760 They've all got his cell number.
00:36:39.400 They make sure he has no opponent whenever he runs.
00:36:42.320 So it's a good business model.
00:36:44.600 Just take care of the donors, and they'll keep you in office forever.
00:36:48.040 That's not going to last long, though.
00:36:49.160 It seems like AOC, who, by the way, is a climate warrior.
00:36:53.940 The first quarter of this year, Mark Curran and Bernie Sanders have spent millions of dollars on private jets.
00:36:59.760 I think AOC pulls the plug and decides to run against Chuck Schumer.
00:37:03.540 What do you think?
00:37:04.060 Yeah, well, I'm talking about his business model.
00:37:07.280 The thing is, after a certain number of decades, it's over.
00:37:11.700 You kind of wore yourself out.
00:37:13.120 We had a great senator named Jacob Javits, who for decades was like a legend, an institution.
00:37:19.640 But then he got a little too old, and it was time for him to go.
00:37:22.400 And a young guy came and took his job named Chuck Schumer.
00:37:25.340 So it's going to happen to Schumer now, too.
00:37:28.500 Yeah, it happens.
00:37:29.060 I mean, look what happened to Eric Cantor.
00:37:31.420 I mean, the third most, fourth most powerful guy in Washington, D.C., ousted.
00:37:36.120 The mainstream media, Mark, Pope passed away, obviously, on Monday.
00:37:41.280 Mainstream media Joe Scarborough went out this morning and says,
00:37:46.040 The hard right inside the church hated Pope Francis for being Christlike.
00:37:51.440 Now, I am a Catholic, born, raised, and everything.
00:37:55.900 But I sort of drifted away from the Catholic church when they started, you know, allowing pedophilia to happen under their own face.
00:38:04.960 You've got this pope who just passed away who was all in favor of allowing transgender things inside the church.
00:38:09.700 Now, I don't want to talk ill about the dead, but, I mean, who the hell is Joe Scarborough to say the hard right hated him because he was Christlike?
00:38:18.120 I wasn't seeing it.
00:38:20.100 Yeah.
00:38:20.780 Well, listen, the Catholic church has its problems.
00:38:22.780 You know, now, when I go to confession, I say to the priest, you first.
00:38:28.220 But you've got to remember, Democrats are very, very upset about the pope's death because they were all set to go with Pete Hegseth and a whole new signal chat that he was on.
00:38:39.040 They had it ready to become the story of the week.
00:38:41.820 And then the pope dies, and now they can't get that story out.
00:38:44.520 It completely covered it up.
00:38:46.320 Now, the reason this pope was too far to the left, he was too political.
00:38:50.100 He was busy with transgenders and climate change.
00:38:53.260 It was horrible.
00:38:53.960 But the last conclave deliberately went that way because they were trying to get young people back to the church, and they thought that would do it.
00:39:01.580 But hopefully the next conclave, they don't try this pandering thing again and pick a more appropriate sort of person.
00:39:09.040 Yeah, it's so stupid that the church – there's, like, certain places, Mark, you go where you don't have to talk about politics.
00:39:15.480 Like a sporting event, you don't talk about politics.
00:39:17.880 Church, you don't talk about politics.
00:39:19.220 But this man, I mean, time and time again tried to insert politics in everything, telling America how we should be running our borders, telling America what we should be doing with migrants.
00:39:29.460 I think the Catholic Church has a very big decision to make here, and it's going to dictate how many people continue to follow their path and how many people divert on to different types of religions.
00:39:42.800 Before we wrap up, speaking of the border, Stephen Miller, who's one of President Trump's closest advisors, says he wants reparations, but it's not for what you think.
00:39:52.160 He wants reparations for the American people for dealing with the Biden border crisis.
00:39:56.160 Your thoughts?
00:39:57.060 Yeah, absolutely.
00:39:58.620 I'm actually not for reparations for anything, but Miller's got a good point.
00:40:02.920 He's great.
00:40:04.340 And give him credit.
00:40:05.320 He'll go anywhere.
00:40:05.980 CNN, Rachel Maddow, he'll tell anybody off.
00:40:08.920 But the cost, nobody's ever really, really put together the cost of that migrant crisis and what it costs.
00:40:15.760 Not just in the welfare, the handouts, all that stuff, but the crime, the damage to people, the damage to lives, the people killed, robbed, all that stuff.
00:40:25.500 The cost is, it'd be staggering if somebody could put that figure together.
00:40:29.380 Yeah, nobody cares to talk about it, though, Mark, because it doesn't fit a narrative.
00:40:34.340 I want to wrap up with another New York issue, congestion pricing.
00:40:38.660 For those of you who aren't in New York, Governor Hochul came about, or it was actually Cuomo, I think, who first started it.
00:40:44.180 Oh, that's another one.
00:40:45.120 It was all him.
00:40:46.140 He was the one that came up with it, pushed it through, and got it passed.
00:40:49.420 So congestion pricing is pretty much, they want to keep people out of New York City from driving, but it's not working.
00:40:54.380 So they charge you $9 if you go past a certain street, multiple times if you want to go past it, $9, $9, $9.
00:41:02.040 Trump came in, and he didn't have to do this, Mark, because New York went overwhelmingly Marxist Dem, and they voted for Kamala Harris.
00:41:08.380 So he doesn't have to care about New York or California, but he's a president for all people, as he said he was going to be.
00:41:15.420 So yesterday it expired, and Sean Duffy is now telling New York, that's fine.
00:41:20.560 If you don't want to pull congestion pricing, we're going to pull your grants for all projects.
00:41:25.520 And I think Penn Station is one of them, right, that Donald Trump is now taking over.
00:41:30.220 Yeah.
00:41:31.800 People around the country may have – it's incredible.
00:41:35.200 To cross a bridge, to get into Manhattan, the George Washington Bridge, the Verrazano Bridge, some of these tolls on the bridges are like $20, $25.
00:41:44.240 You're only on the bridge for like 30 seconds.
00:41:46.160 So you've paid a fortune just to cross the bridge.
00:41:49.700 Then you're paying a car tax, a gas tax, a road tax.
00:41:52.660 Now if you want to come into the main part of Manhattan, it's another $9.
00:41:56.260 It's absolutely preposterous.
00:41:58.460 And it's not about congestion, because I've asked these congestion experts that do it around the world.
00:42:03.620 Well, what happens if it brings down the congestion?
00:42:05.800 He goes, well, then we lower the price a little.
00:42:07.900 It's a revenue grab.
00:42:09.760 It's like when they put up the red light camera.
00:42:12.180 There's a certain location where everybody knows it's there, and they're very careful.
00:42:15.380 They moved the red light camera.
00:42:17.520 They weren't trying to solve the problem.
00:42:18.940 They were trying to get revenue.
00:42:20.960 It's so absurd.
00:42:22.020 You mentioned the Verrazano Bridge.
00:42:23.440 When they built the Verrazano Bridge, which links Staten Island to Brooklyn, it's an island, so you can't get off.
00:42:28.260 It's a beautiful island just off the coast of Manhattan with a waterfront view of Manhattan.
00:42:32.640 Great place to live.
00:42:34.120 They built this bridge, the Verrazano Bridge, to get people from New York to – from Staten Island to Manhattan.
00:42:39.320 They said once the bridge was paid off, Mark, they were getting rid of the toll.
00:42:43.180 I think they paid off the bridge in, like, under a year.
00:42:46.700 Guess what?
00:42:47.240 It's now, like, a very long time later, 60, 70, 80 years.
00:42:52.600 The bridge is still up, and the toll is through the roof.
00:42:56.700 New Yorkers – why do we do it, Mark?
00:42:59.020 I ask myself every day why I still live here.
00:43:01.600 You can do your radio show from anywhere in the world.
00:43:04.540 Why the hell do we still live here?
00:43:06.420 It's the greatest city in the world.
00:43:08.180 I mean, look out the window.
00:43:09.180 There's anything and everything here.
00:43:10.700 The biggest and the best of everything is here in New York.
00:43:14.380 I agree.
00:43:14.840 But then I go down to Florida, Mark, and I'm like, why am I not living here?
00:43:18.540 I was just down there for a week, and I'm like, I got to get the hell out of New York.
00:43:22.740 Remember John Updike who said anybody that lives anywhere else besides New York has to be, in some sense, kidding.
00:43:30.320 You got to live here.
00:43:31.800 It's sort of true.
00:43:32.700 Mark, I appreciate you always joining us.
00:43:34.380 You get the last word here.
00:43:35.460 The floor is yours.
00:43:36.540 Whatever you want to say, whatever you want to promote, whatever you want to sell, whatever you want to give.
00:43:42.020 Get my podcast.
00:43:43.320 It's on iHeart, Mark Simone, iHeart, or any place you get podcasts, you can find it.
00:43:49.720 Also, you know, stock market, turmoil, tariffs, all this.
00:43:53.540 Close your eyes and open them in about three months.
00:43:55.780 I think everything is going to be booming like crazy.
00:43:58.420 Yep.
00:43:58.820 It's Main Street's time to shine, not Wall Street, Mark.
00:44:01.220 Mark Simone, the host of the Mark Simone Show.

00:44:11.900 Mark, thanks so much.
00:44:13.100 Thanks.
00:44:13.700 Thanks, everybody.
00:44:14.320 And thanks to Mark Simone for being with us today here on The Great America Show.
00:44:17.240 We'll see you back here tomorrow for The Great America Show, where a quest for truth, justice, and the American way continues.
00:44:23.560 See you tomorrow, folks.
00:44:24.600 Same time, same place.
00:44:26.040 Until then, may God bless you.
00:44:27.960 May God bless America.
00:44:28.900 And may God bless the great, Udabs.
00:44:30.880 Have a good day.
00:44:33.180 Bye.
