00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, I'm John Fossett with this Great America Show midday update for Friday, June 6th.
00:00:04.400 Happy Friday, folks.
00:00:05.920 Well, if you live on planet Earth, the chances are you've probably heard about or read about or seen
00:00:10.980 the little riff and scuffle between President Trump and Elon Musk.
00:00:15.820 Elon Musk, it appears, is off his meds or on some sort of different kind of medicine that he should not be taking. 0.71
00:00:23.040 Having a total meltdown yesterday with President Trump making ridiculous accusations about President Trump
00:00:28.760 being on the Epstein list, of course, there's no evidence to back what Elon has said.
00:00:33.980 The riff has continued.
00:00:36.000 There were reports last night that Elon and President Trump were set to speak this morning.
00:00:40.820 President Trump telling various reporters this morning he has no interest in speaking to Elon Musk
00:00:45.920 and that Elon has lost his mind.
00:00:49.140 It's unclear why Elon has gone so crazy.
00:00:51.760 He says it's about the big beautiful bill and the deficit that it causes,
00:00:55.520 but the tantrum he has thrown far supersedes anything that could have happened from that big beautiful bill.
00:01:04.820 Now, as I said, Elon alleging that President Trump is on the Epstein list,
00:01:08.640 and as I said, there's no evidence to back that up.
00:01:11.700 In fact, a former Epstein attorney tweeted out the following message following Elon's accusations.
00:01:18.420 Quote, and this is from a David Schoen attorney,
00:01:21.740 Quote, I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein's defense as his criminal lawyer nine days before he died.
00:01:27.260 He sought my advice for months before that.
00:01:29.860 I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitely that he had no information to hurt President Trump.
00:01:36.480 I specifically asked him.
00:01:38.780 So, Elon Musk sort of defaming President Trump a little bit.
00:01:43.960 We'll see how it plays out, but not a loyal man, not a good man by any stretch of the imagination to be having this total, total meltdown.
00:01:52.500 President Trump now looking to give away that beautiful Tesla.
00:01:55.360 It was beautiful.
00:01:56.520 Tesla that he had bought to show support for his friend, Elon Musk,
00:02:00.140 looking to get rid of it as soon as today from the White House.
00:02:03.800 He no longer wants it.
00:02:05.500 President Trump always doing right by people and always getting stabbed in the back.
00:02:10.400 Truly a shame.
00:02:11.140 Elon Musk is an embarrassment, and he should really consider apologizing publicly to President Trump and to the world
00:02:17.360 and to his shareholders for the pain he's causing them. 0.64
00:02:21.380 Another day, another Marxist judge acting up.
00:02:24.340 Obama judge blocks President Trump from suspending student visas for foreign nationals seeking to study at Harvard.
00:02:31.720 A U.S. district judge in Boston on Thursday stepped in and blocked the administration,
00:02:35.940 preventing these foreign nationals from entering Harvard to study.
00:02:38.400 President Trump issued a proclamation this week, of course,
00:02:41.160 suspending the visas of new students seeking to study at Harvard for initial six months,
00:02:46.240 but allows extensions beyond that time.
00:02:48.780 The order also instructs the State Department to consider revoking the academic visas of current Harvard students.
00:02:54.700 Allison Burroughs, who is of course an Obama appointee,
00:02:56.620 issued a two-page temporary restraining order preventing Trump's proclamation from happening,
00:03:02.580 pending further litigation.
00:03:04.300 Another day, another Marxist dem with Trump derangement syndrome.
00:03:09.240 And President Trump and his administration not letting crazy Elon get in the way of all the great things that he's doing for this country.
00:03:15.960 Great employment numbers for the United States added for the month of May.
00:03:20.540 A hundred and thirty nine thousand workers added to the payrolls.
00:03:23.700 Department of Labor releasing those statistics today.
00:03:26.540 Unemployment rate unchanged at four point two percent.
00:03:29.400 Economists had been expecting one hundred and twenty five thousand jobs and unemployment to stay flat.
00:03:34.140 President Trump exceeding the estimates of one hundred and twenty five thousand actually usually does.
00:03:40.640 President Donald Trump's program of shrinking the federal government is showing signs of progress.
00:03:44.420 Employment in the federal government fell by twenty two thousand in May and is down fifty nine thousand since January.
00:03:50.520 Those are great numbers.
00:03:52.640 Some help of Elon Musk, but Elon no longer a part of the Trump administration, probably for the best.
00:03:59.460 And Congress wants some answers to Biden's mental health decline.
00:04:02.000 The Oversight Committee has subpoenaed former White House doctor on hiding Biden's mental decline.
00:04:07.060 That's right.
00:04:07.780 House Oversight Chairman James Comer, who we sat down with for a great interview last night.
00:04:11.740 If you haven't already heard it, head over to our Rumble or YouTube page.
00:04:14.420 And check it out.
00:04:15.540 He's subpoenaed Dr. Kevin O'Connor regarding an investigation into the alleged cover up of the former president's mental decline.
00:04:22.820 In the letter addressed to O'Connell, Comer pointed out that in May, the committee requested that O'Connor appear for a transcribed interview on June 25th.
00:04:31.200 Broadly regarding the circumstances surrounding O'Connor's February 2024 assessment in which he described biting as being a healthy, active and robust for an 81 year old male.
00:04:41.480 We all know that's not true, folks.
00:04:44.880 The letter also noted that the committee has questioned whether O'Connor's financial relationship with the Biden family affected his assessment of Biden's physical and mental health in order to successfully fulfill his duties as president.
