The Great America Show - IF WE HAD FAIR AND TRANSPARENT ELECTIONS, MOST EVERY STATE IN THE COUNTRY WOULD BE RED SAYS JIM MARCHANT

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs. Welcome to The Great America Show.

00:00:04.060 Good to have you with us as we pursue here each day truth, justice, and the American way.

00:00:10.320 Speaking of justice, the anti-justice department wants another $34 million with which to prosecute

00:00:16.960 January 6th demonstrators and, oh yes, Trump supporters.

00:00:21.120 They're working with the Marxist-Dem congressional leadership, the Marxist-Dem January 6th committee,

00:00:26.480 and carrying out their orders.

00:00:27.780 It's hard for me, I don't know about you, but it's hard for me to see how the corrupt

00:00:32.300 DOJ wouldn't get all that money from the corrupt Marxist-Dem's.

00:00:37.160 But I think, given the way the election is going, they better hurry up.

00:00:41.540 The January 6th committee has now subpoenaed President Trump for a deposition on November

00:00:46.560 14th.

00:00:47.800 Their criminal referral of two contempt charges against and subsequent trial of former Trump

00:00:53.220 advisor activist and podcaster Steve Bannon led to a four-month prison sentence, now on appeal.

00:01:00.200 Another Trump advisor, facing the same charges and criminal referrals, going to trial next month,

00:01:06.440 Peter Navarro.

00:01:07.780 He was indicted.

00:01:08.860 His trial starts November 17th.

00:01:11.420 One outrage after another.

00:01:13.460 Just how vicious are these Marxist-Dem thugs in the Biden administration?

00:01:19.640 Bannon and Navarro are now the only presidential advisors in American history to face criminal

00:01:26.900 contempt of Congress charges.

00:01:29.100 As the saying goes, elections have consequences, and with the midterms just over two weeks away,

00:01:34.980 we need to be sure that the Republicans win that election and make certain that among the

00:01:40.260 consequences will be the purge of that corrupt FBI and DOJ, and accounting for all in the

00:01:47.100 Biden administration who've been responsible for rampant corruption.

00:01:51.360 All of them.

00:01:52.360 And guess what?

00:01:53.580 The Dems are hiding President Biden.

00:01:56.300 They've sent him on another vacation to Delaware.

00:01:59.240 He'll be at his Delaware compound, and later in Nevada, the Marxist Dems there will be campaigning

00:02:06.700 like it's 2012 again.

00:02:09.520 They're in so much trouble, they're trying to save incumbent Marxist Dem Governor Steve

00:02:14.820 Sisolak and Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, whose campaigns are flagging badly.

00:02:21.280 How badly?

00:02:22.360 Bad enough that they're rolling out not only Obama, but Senator Bernie Sanders as well.

00:02:27.840 Now that's a pair to draw to, and I'm not sure I would do that if I were a Marxist Dem in Nevada.

00:02:35.340 Our guest today is Nevada businessman and candidate for Secretary of State, Jim Marchant.

00:02:41.580 2020 demonstrated for the Republicans and everyone else in the country just how important that

00:02:47.440 office of Secretary of State is.

00:02:50.320 Jim is in a big-time battle there in Nevada.

00:02:53.200 The Democrats understand how important that race is as well, obviously.

00:02:57.840 His opponent outspending him by a large margin, but the race is as tight as it can be, and

00:03:03.800 Marchant says he'll win it.

00:03:05.700 Jim, great to have you with us here.

00:03:07.380 The Secretary of State job is just how important, in your view, and will you win it?

00:03:13.700 Yeah, absolutely.

00:03:15.280 It has been a sleepy office for the Republicans.

00:03:18.620 The Democrats have known about it for a long, long time.

00:03:21.260 If you remember back in 2004, George Soros and Harry Reid spent tens of millions of dollars

00:03:27.460 on what was called the Secretary of State Project.

00:03:31.960 And what they did for the 2006 election was they got, gosh, probably seven or eight or ten

00:03:38.540 of their secretaries of state elected around the country.

00:03:42.000 And our country's in the shape it's in today because of that.

00:03:44.900 And all we're doing is countering, reversing what they did.

00:03:49.640 And that's what I did.

00:03:51.140 I put together a coalition last year of MAGA, America First Secretary of State Candidates,

00:03:58.200 to do the same thing.

00:03:59.340 And we're not doing what they did.

00:04:01.480 They wanted to tilt the playing field in their favor.

00:04:04.540 All we want to do is tilt it back level and have everybody have a fair, transparent election.

00:04:10.600 And that's it.

00:04:11.340 So whoever wins, wins.

00:04:12.980 We don't care.

00:04:13.600 If a Democrat wins, that's the will of the people.

00:04:16.260 That's what we want.

00:04:17.500 So that's what we've been doing out here.

00:04:20.320 So let's start with Nevada.

00:04:22.600 What have you gotten done to make certain that there is no repeat in any way of the rigged

00:04:29.700 election of 2020 in Nevada?

00:04:32.140 Well, we've done a lot of things behind the scenes, like put together plans for poll workers,

00:04:38.280 poll watchers, that kind of thing.

00:04:39.840 We've got attorneys that are on standby a lot more than they were in the 2020 election.

00:04:47.300 I have been going around the counties and trying to get them to not use the Dominion voting

00:04:53.140 machines and instead use a hand count paper ballot that has anti-counterfeit measures built

00:05:00.800 in so you can infuse the system with China ballots or any other counterfeit ballots.

00:05:07.320 And we've been successful.

00:05:08.920 I've gotten one county out here, Nye County, to do that and implement it for the 22 election,

00:05:16.100 which is amazing.

00:05:17.580 And however, the establishment and the Democrats and, you know, just seems like the whole world

00:05:24.180 does not want this.

00:05:25.520 And we're being sued and there are roadblocks being put in front of us.

00:05:29.780 But the bottom line is, is we're going to have a system out here where we will know absolutely

00:05:35.940 for sure how the vote was accounted or the will of the people and it was accurately counted.

00:05:42.440 So you're saying that is, is it Nye County that we're talking about here?

00:05:48.200 Correct.

00:05:48.940 Where the ACLU sued over the plan to do a hand count and as you say, move electronic voting

00:05:56.180 out of it, Dominion machines.

00:05:59.720 Give us a sense.

00:06:00.820 Are you going to have a hand count?

00:06:02.660 Are you going to have electronic voting come November 8?

00:06:05.660 Yeah, we're going to have both.

00:06:07.340 And that's where we had to compromise because of the laws and the roadblocks that the establishment

00:06:13.180 here is putting in front of us.

00:06:14.940 So the bottom line is, though, we're going to know the accurate count because we are doing

00:06:20.740 a hand count.

00:06:21.960 And that's what they're suing about.

00:06:23.840 Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada, a heavily funded George Soros organization,

00:06:29.400 and the ACLU sued two lawsuits and the judge has thrown both of them out so far.

00:06:36.480 So, but yeah, so we're, we're going to be able to go forward with a count where we will

00:06:41.560 know absolutely for sure that it's accurate.

00:06:44.520 And that's the only county I've been able to get it established in.

00:06:48.680 And we're going to work on more.

00:06:50.480 When I get in to be the Secretary of State, we're going to work and get all 17 counties on

00:06:56.780 this system.

00:06:57.440 And if we do, we will have a fair and transparent election in Nevada.

00:07:03.560 Well, I know that a number of states, Louisiana, Alabama, a number of others, have been pushing

00:07:10.740 back against electronic voting.

00:07:13.200 What is the issue with electronic voting?

00:07:16.780 And in full disclosure, I'm a witness in a trial with Dominion that is suing Fox, where

00:07:26.160 I used to have a show.

00:07:28.180 It gets a little complicated, but I want everybody to understand that.

00:07:32.360 What is the deal with this movement toward eliminating electronic voting in your, in your

00:07:39.680 judgment?

00:07:40.580 Well, my background is technology.

00:07:42.960 I started programming computers back in 1984 and had three successful technology companies.

00:07:49.580 So I know technology.

00:07:51.640 And being that I know the technology the way I do and how systems can be hacked, there's

00:07:57.380 no way we should trust our election system on a computer.

00:08:01.460 It's extremely vulnerable and far too complicated.

00:08:06.700 If you went through the process to see how they have to set these machines up every time

00:08:11.520 they, every time we have an election, it would be, you'd shake your head and say, wow, how

00:08:16.780 in the world can we even do this?

00:08:18.380 Because it's so complicated.

00:08:19.420 And they hire people from temp agencies to come in and set these things up that have

00:08:24.800 no experience, no way that they know how to do this.

00:08:29.040 So, and then on the other side is the Homeland Security came out with a document that's saying

00:08:36.660 that there are serious anomalies and vulnerabilities in these current machines and they haven't been

00:08:44.700 addressed.

00:08:45.640 And so we just cannot trust our election system, something that enables us to have sovereignty

00:08:53.760 as a country on a machine or computers that can be hacked the way they're hacked.

00:09:00.060 So let me ask you this, because I've been covering this for two decades, electronic voting.

00:09:07.260 I go back to Diebold and Sequoia and the whole nine yards back in the early 2000s following.

00:09:14.700 Of course, the mess that was the 2000 hanging Chad election.

00:09:21.160 We have, over the course of that time, warning after warning about having private companies,

00:09:27.840 three of them, control 92%, process 92% of the vote in this country.

00:09:33.460 Most people don't know that.

00:09:35.140 Their heart, ES&S, and Dominion.

00:09:38.160 Three private companies, three private companies processing 92% of the vote.

00:09:43.800 That's a stunning number.

00:09:45.980 How many of the secretaries of states and county clerks, in your judgment, Jim, could actually

00:09:51.400 know what was happening in those machines and verify that it was a true and honest and fair

00:09:57.200 election with proper processing and correct tabulation?

00:10:01.300 Zero.

00:10:02.040 Zero.

00:10:02.580 There's no way you can know because they won't share with us anything.

00:10:06.820 They won't share with us their source code.

00:10:08.640 They won't share with us what's going on in there.

00:10:11.520 They won't let us audit.

00:10:13.140 They won't even let us audit an election properly.

00:10:16.880 And why?

00:10:18.100 If they're so sure about how secure and fair their elections are, why don't they let us

00:10:23.900 audit it?

00:10:24.400 And so that should tell you right there that something's going on, and we don't need to

00:10:29.560 trust them, and we need another system.

00:10:31.800 And that's exactly what I'm doing with this coalition, America First Coalition, to establish

00:10:38.500 a system where we don't use computers, and we don't use machines that can be manipulated.

00:10:44.220 So that's exactly what we're doing.

00:10:46.340 We've got to go back to the basics.

00:10:47.680 And you would think that a technology person like me who's made a good living off of writing

00:10:55.600 software to increase productivity for businesses would be in favor of technology.

00:11:01.900 But I know what's going on inside those machines, and it's evident.

00:11:07.840 I mean, the only anomalies we've found is enough evidence for me that we need to do something.

00:11:15.180 Well, you talk about anomalies, irregularities, that we all, anyone watching that race, that 1.00

00:11:22.520 election night, saw lots of anomalies and irregularities.

00:11:26.600 But so far, no one has produced that evidence sufficiently, at least in court, to demonstrate that it's

00:11:36.800 Dominion's fault, or ES&S's fault, or Hart, the other principal company.

00:11:45.180 Why is it so difficult for people to have a transparent view of this election and the way in which it's

00:11:55.200 tabulated and counted and processed and a paper trail created?

00:12:01.060 It just should be, with technology as sophisticated as it is, as I said, I've been covering this issue

00:12:08.920 for 20 years.

00:12:09.780 Why in the world hasn't there been sufficient progress that includes transparency and absolute

00:12:15.700 rock-solid evidence of correct counting of the vote?

00:12:20.580 Well, it's my opinion that they don't want to expose, first of all, the incompetence that is in an election

00:12:29.440 system and the manipulation.

00:12:32.400 I just, you know, it's my opinion that I believe that there is manipulation via the machines, and just the

00:12:38.800 total incompetence in doing an election is unbelievable.

00:12:42.520 It's so complicated, and that's why we've got to get back to a simple, simple election system, and that's exactly

00:12:50.480 what we're doing.

00:12:51.980 Well, let's turn to Nevada.

00:12:54.900 You're running ahead in that race.

00:12:57.400 Give us your, give us a sense of what you would do immediately once you take office.

00:13:03.060 Well, once I take office, I would continue to implement what I've been doing since November 4th, 2020,

00:13:10.620 is establishing the new election system that I would like to see here in Nevada, and then our

00:13:17.360 Secretary of State candidates around the country have also agreed that they would adopt a very similar

00:13:23.500 system in their state.

00:13:26.020 Of course, each state has laws, and it would have to be tweaked, but we understand that.

00:13:30.700 But the bottom line is we want hand counting on a precinct-level basis with any paper ballots with

00:13:38.340 any counterfeit measures.

00:13:39.920 We're actually going to track all of our ballots.

00:13:42.320 What a novel idea.

00:13:43.700 Let's track every ballot so we'll know where they are.

00:13:47.400 We're going to clean up the voter rolls.

00:13:49.420 That's another serious issue that enables manipulation to go on, so we've got to do that, and all of

00:13:57.800 ours candidates have agreed we're going to bring it in-house and do it ourselves.

00:14:02.400 So bottom line is we've got to implement this new system to ensure that the people have a fair and

00:14:10.240 transparent election, and right now they don't have competence in our election system.

00:14:14.800 Way over 50 percent, probably even 60 percent, do not have competence in our election system.

00:14:20.420 There is great concern about the integrity of our electoral system, there is no doubt.

00:14:28.840 I want to turn to what you just mentioned it, the voter rolls.

00:14:34.620 In Colorado, the Secretary of State there managed somehow to run 30,000 illegal immigrants' names

00:14:44.180 through the system and to send out marketing material, a get-out-the-vote marketing material

00:14:52.140 to 30,000 illegal immigrants.

00:14:54.380 Some critics suggested that she was trying to notify them it'd be okay to come in and register

00:15:00.960 and showing them how to register, as she was doing, legal citizens and legal voters as well,

00:15:06.320 of course, in that mass mailing.

00:15:07.580 But how in the world they got there was through also apparently a match list with something

00:15:14.640 called ERIC, the election system that was funded at least in part initially some 12 years ago

00:15:22.860 by George Soros, one of George Soros' funds and nonprofits, also run by Dave Becker, who

00:15:33.320 has quite a reputation as a liberal activist in elections.

00:15:38.460 He's no longer there, but he was instrumental in its early setup and its activities.

00:15:44.420 Give us your sense of what in the world is going on and how many of these accidents we can expect

00:15:50.520 on November 8th in states across the country.

00:15:53.820 Yeah, you're exactly right.

00:15:55.740 ERIC is an organization that was established a while back, like you said, and we believe that

00:16:01.960 in part, or initially it was funded by George Soros and run by very liberal people that probably

00:16:09.780 don't have our best interests at heart.

00:16:12.380 And Nevada is a charter member of ERIC, and we use ERIC out here.

00:16:18.180 And when I get in, we're not going to use them anymore.

00:16:20.920 We're going to bring it in-house, and we're going to ensure that our voter rolls are proper.

00:16:25.160 We're going to check, which we don't do now.

00:16:27.180 We're going to check and make sure you're a citizen also.

00:16:30.440 And we've got a whole story out here where, through the DMV, illegals are being registered

00:16:37.040 every day and have been being registered since 2018 when our Secretary of State signed a memorandum

00:16:43.860 of understanding saying, answering a lawsuit from the unions, SEI union, I believe, and La

00:16:53.380 Familia Voda, they threatened to sue our Secretary of State back then if she confirmed if people

00:17:01.780 getting registered through DMV were citizens.

00:17:04.760 And she agreed not to do that.

00:17:06.240 She said, okay, we won't check.

00:17:07.880 We'll not have the DMV go through that.

00:17:11.200 And they could easily do that because back in 2017, when I was assemblyman, we passed a

00:17:19.240 driver's authorization card for illegals, and I did not vote for it, by the way, just 0.99

00:17:24.080 so everybody knows, but it did pass because we were controlled by Democrats, and so they

00:17:31.280 have driver's authorization cards.

00:17:33.400 So now when they come into the DMV and do anything, get a driver's authorization card or

00:17:39.860 registration or whatever, and they're illegal, they don't check.

00:17:43.420 So it allows them to register without being checked, and that's something else that I am

00:17:49.660 going to work to change once I get rid of it.

00:17:52.820 Well, can anything be done about it between now and November 8th?

00:17:55.860 No.

00:17:56.600 So they're going to vote?

00:17:58.140 They're probably going to vote, and they've been voting.

00:18:01.880 That's outrageous.

00:18:03.060 Why isn't somebody prosecuting?

00:18:05.520 Well, I agree, and that's why they're scared to death when I get in.

00:18:10.320 That's why they're scared.

00:18:11.660 I'm scared to death now.

00:18:12.920 I'm looking at the most important election, midterm election in this country's history

00:18:17.200 coming up here in three weeks, and you're telling me no one in the state of Nevada apparently

00:18:22.120 cares enough to start bringing legal proceedings or putting people in jail for voting illegally.

00:18:27.460 That's right.

00:18:28.960 And I don't think they're going to be voting Republican, do you?

00:18:33.680 I don't think so, no.

00:18:35.900 You know, if I had George Soros money, I would sue as a civilian.

00:18:39.540 But, you know, it takes so much money to do it.

00:18:43.500 That's why nobody's sued to change this procedure. 0.96

00:18:49.220 It's ridiculous.

00:18:50.540 Well, somebody – so what – just how much of 2020 is going to be repeated in Nevada this

00:18:56.940 year, in this election?

00:18:58.640 Well, you know, once again, we – most of our counties out here and probably across

00:19:03.920 the country are going to use machines again.

00:19:06.040 So we just have to hope that we have – some of the things we've done behind the scenes

00:19:10.260 will mitigate some of the manipulation enough.

00:19:13.840 And what's more important, I want the people listening to understand this, you have to get

00:19:19.580 out in mass and vote.

00:19:21.460 Because if we get out in mass and vote and the turnout is massive, we can overcome any

00:19:29.200 manipulation they have built into the system.

00:19:31.800 So I want to encourage everybody, you've got to get out like this is a presidential election.

00:19:38.300 And typically in the midterms, there's not a lot of turnout, but this time our country

00:19:44.100 depends on it.

00:19:45.140 If we do not take over the House and Senate in this election, I fear for what our country

00:19:52.600 is going to be in six months if we don't win this election in the next few days, the

00:19:58.240 next three weeks here.

00:19:59.700 So you've got to get out.

00:20:01.480 Please, everybody, get out.

00:20:03.160 Get 10 or 20 people to get out.

00:20:04.920 Let them know how important this election is.

00:20:08.460 And that's how we win right there.

00:20:11.100 Well, that – and as Doug Mastriano running for governor, Republican running for governor

00:20:18.560 in Pennsylvania said, we make sure that we've got two people, two Republicans at every polling

00:20:24.260 place in the country, or we're not going to have a fair vote.

00:20:28.880 You know, it's like Stalin said, he doesn't care who the hell votes.

00:20:32.600 He just cares about who gets to count.

00:20:34.920 And that's the Democrats' opinion of things.

00:20:39.420 Yeah, and that's the problem here.

00:20:40.860 They won't allow us to get within 60 feet of the people counting the votes here in Clark

00:20:46.720 County.

00:20:47.980 And so that's –

00:20:49.460 Somebody needs to crawl in under that barbed wire and find out what's going on.

00:20:54.400 I know.

00:20:55.120 Well, that's what we're doing.

00:20:56.440 We've got a lot of things going on behind the scenes that we're going to have people

00:21:01.100 more educated about what's going on inside there.

00:21:04.600 We're going to have more attorneys available. 0.80

00:21:07.680 So that – we're doing things.

00:21:10.400 We're trying to do things within the law.

00:21:12.640 Of course, you know, we don't break the law.

00:21:14.260 So we're trying to do things within the law to mitigate this election a little bit, just

00:21:20.520 enough to get us in.

00:21:21.860 And once we get in, then it's going to be fixed.

00:21:25.700 Just like I said the other day when President Trump called me on the stage in Nevada, that's

00:21:31.480 what I told everybody.

00:21:32.440 We're going to fix this if we get in.

00:21:35.280 And boy, did the news media – their heads exploded when I said that.

00:21:39.740 But that's the way it goes.

00:21:42.200 Well, if the news media's heads were to explode, you know, a lot of people would say that wouldn't

00:21:47.320 be an entirely bad thing.

00:21:49.260 No, not a bad thing.

00:21:50.740 Metaphorically speaking.

00:21:52.200 Metaphorically speaking, yes.

00:21:55.080 It's going to be fascinating.

00:21:59.040 Laxalt is running ahead right now.

00:22:01.160 Now, you're running ahead.

00:22:04.420 The attorney general is running ahead, correct?

00:22:07.400 Yep.

00:22:07.920 Correct, yes.

00:22:08.920 You've got three critical positions that are very important to the country.

00:22:14.000 Give us a sense of why you believe we're going to prevail in this election, because

00:22:22.140 it's pretty – actually, it's very dark to consider what you said about the integrity

00:22:28.860 of the election in the state of Nevada.

00:22:31.160 And it's not a big state in terms of population.

00:22:34.640 It looks to me like it ought to be pretty easy to wrangle, you know, the folks who are

00:22:41.640 going into those polls and be sure that they're squared away.

00:22:45.340 Yes, the economy is helping us.

00:22:48.200 I mean, people are sick and tired of paying $6 a gallon for gas.

00:22:52.940 They're tired of their rent going up.

00:22:54.960 They're tired of their mortgage rates going up.

00:22:58.180 They're tired of the cost of living.

00:23:00.120 When they go into a supermarket, first of all, even if you're able to find what you want in

00:23:05.080 the supermarket, you pay an arm and a leg for it.

00:23:08.740 And then all the regulations that's coming from the government.

00:23:12.760 I mean, it just makes businesses – it makes it impossible for them to operate.

00:23:17.540 We talk about this all the time on The Great America Show.

00:23:21.860 You've got a border crisis.

00:23:23.740 It's wide open.

00:23:24.580 Illegal immigration crisis.

00:23:26.200 You've got foreign policy crises, whether it's Taiwan and China and Ukraine and Russia.

00:23:32.580 We've got a crisis in terms of inflation.

00:23:36.660 We've got a crisis in terms of recession.

00:23:38.740 We're now in what will be most likely a third quarter of contracting GDP.

00:23:45.160 We are tearing up the middle class of this country. 1.00

00:23:49.460 And guess who's responsible? 0.98

00:23:51.340 It's Joe Biden, who's nothing more than a Marxist-dim puppet and an impaired puppet at that. 0.97

00:23:57.320 And so why – how in the world can anyone with a conscience who gives a dag gum about 0.95

00:24:04.560 this country walk in and vote Democrat?

00:24:07.560 I don't care what state you live in.

00:24:09.480 Your thoughts?

00:24:10.020 Well, yeah.

00:24:11.080 I think that if we had a fair and transparent election, we wouldn't.

00:24:15.400 And that's what we're trying to fix here.

00:24:17.820 And, you know, people are just tired of the economy the way it is.

00:24:21.900 So let me ask you this, Jim.

00:24:24.040 Because we've been talking – you're talking about you've got to stay 60 feet away from

00:24:27.820 people counting ballots.

00:24:29.900 What's the point of having a poll watcher if they can't watch?

00:24:34.540 What the heck does the sense?

00:24:35.740 And you said they don't like Republicans.

00:24:38.360 How is it that Democrats get to do all the counting in the state of Nevada?

00:24:42.280 How is that?

00:24:43.280 That is a good point, and that is exactly what the problem is.

00:24:47.740 It's not fair.

00:24:49.360 We have to make it fair.

00:24:50.600 We have Republicans that have applied to be election workers who do get to watch the

00:24:56.740 vote counting, and it's a minority of who's in there.

00:25:01.720 Well, why doesn't somebody go into a judge, a superior judge there in Clark County, and

00:25:07.880 say, this is bull, and let's get it fixed right now?

00:25:11.120 Surely the Republicans could scrap together enough money for that to be done, to make

00:25:17.160 certain that there is a fair, even-handed distribution of poll watchers and, by the

00:25:22.700 way, election workers.

00:25:25.300 Right.

00:25:25.880 And we have, but unfortunately, the judges don't rule in our favor.

00:25:31.160 So, you know, it's a whole system.

00:25:34.080 It's just –

00:25:34.860 I mean, weren't you – I don't mean to make light of this, but where the heck did

00:25:38.320 you guys go to find those judges?

00:25:40.820 Well, here in Nevada.

00:25:42.620 It's our only – the only way we can – the only place we can do it.

00:25:47.460 It seems to me like there's – a lot of people have missed a lot of points in the

00:25:51.060 process here.

00:25:52.080 Right.

00:25:52.820 And it takes a lot of money.

00:25:53.840 Those judges are also elected, aren't they?

00:25:56.360 Yes, they are.

00:25:57.140 Yes, they are.

00:25:58.200 Well, maybe somebody ought to get to work on that, too.

00:26:01.440 Well, we are.

00:26:02.120 I mean, we have all of our state party chairman out here, Michael McDonald, and the county

00:26:08.840 parties are all working on slates.

00:26:11.320 You know, we let everybody know who to vote for, including the judges.

00:26:15.840 But, you know, once again, it has to go through the corrupt system.

00:26:20.180 So, that's why the Secretary of State offices are so critical to this election and this cycle,

00:26:28.940 because we control the election system.

00:26:31.560 And once we get that fair and transparent, that kind of stuff won't happen anymore.

00:26:36.440 And I just feel that, because I go around the state of Nevada, and actually, I go around

00:26:41.400 the whole country.

00:26:42.740 And I can tell that if we have a fair and transparent election, most every state in our

00:26:49.760 country will be red.

00:26:52.080 You know what?

00:26:52.640 That's the biggest hypothetical I've heard in a long time, because your condition preceding

00:26:58.020 is that big old word, two letters, if.

00:27:01.420 If.

00:27:01.700 If you are sitting here three weeks out from that election, the National Republican Committee

00:27:07.160 obviously doesn't have its act together.

00:27:11.200 They've been talking about how they're going to have a lot of people on the ground.

00:27:14.500 I heard the same thing from Ronna McDaniel, by the way, in 2020.

00:27:19.040 And that was a bunch of bunkum.

00:27:21.380 They're a fundraising organization.

00:27:23.340 And to something of a, to me, it looks like a leisure club, rather than a fire-breathing,

00:27:31.240 highly effective partisan activist operation.

00:27:36.860 I don't know what to say to you, because everything's dependent on this year's count, and I don't

00:27:42.800 see much that's changed in this, based on what you're saying, in the state of Nevada.

00:27:48.120 Well, not as much as we want, for sure.

00:27:51.860 But I'm hoping that we've done enough that we can mitigate it just enough to get in this

00:27:56.740 one time, because if I get in as Secretary of State, I can guarantee you going forward,

00:28:01.800 while I'm in office, we will have a fair and transparent election.

00:28:05.420 And if that happens, I believe that we are a common-sense red state that will vote in

00:28:14.280 politicians that are common-sense politicians, that will not vote for higher taxes, will not

00:28:20.620 vote to spend our money, our taxpayer money, ridiculously, will not burden businesses anymore.

00:28:28.840 As a matter of fact, we want to take burdens away so they can operate, because that's the,

00:28:33.580 you know, that's the engine to our economy is the small businesses.

00:28:36.980 And we've got to enable them to be able to operate and start and operate.

00:28:42.020 And that's exactly what will happen when we get common-sense politicians in office.

00:28:47.380 Well, here's some common-sense, Jim.

00:28:49.880 You were talking about Soros spending millions of dollars back in 2006 on the Secretary of State

00:28:57.380 Program.

00:28:58.200 They were smart enough to do that 16 years ago.

00:29:02.760 That wasn't common-sense.

00:29:03.940 That was uncommon smarts on the part of that.

00:29:08.460 What we need is not common-sense, in my opinion, if I can argue with you on this, Jim.

00:29:12.520 We need some sharp operators who actually are thinking hard and working harder.

00:29:17.640 And I don't see many Republicans, frankly, in the national organization.

00:29:20.820 I'm only speaking about the national organization.

00:29:23.760 I mean, those folks are downright indolent.

00:29:26.340 Yes.

00:29:26.560 And I don't know what they think their job is, but it isn't to get anybody elected who

00:29:31.200 talks like you and sounds like you and works like you have been doing.

00:29:36.580 So I hope we can get through this.

00:29:38.620 They're working.

00:29:39.780 Yeah, they're working.

00:29:40.740 Here's my point.

00:29:41.520 Here's my point.

00:29:42.200 My point is, this is not, you know, no matter what, those Dems knew 16 years ago how smart

00:29:50.680 and how important the Secretary of State job is.

00:29:55.180 Yes.

00:29:55.720 And you're talking about kind of sneaking around them.

00:29:58.460 I don't see how you sneak around them because they've been there first.

00:30:02.020 They planted their flag, and they're not going to let Jim Marchallant walk in there, you

00:30:08.500 know, and, you know, redecorate the office.

00:30:12.200 That's right.

00:30:13.460 They're going to try to stop us, but that's how important it is.

00:30:16.960 And, you know, to your point a minute ago, the Republicans have been blocking me more

00:30:22.060 than the Democrats, and that's what's very disappointing.

00:30:24.980 Tell us about that.

00:30:26.020 Tell us about that.

00:30:27.200 How have they been working to block you?

00:30:28.420 In my primary out here, the Republicans, Mitt Romney, Soros, and the whole crew.

00:30:38.280 Boy, that's a sorry bunch you got right there.

00:30:40.420 Yeah, the establishment, Karl Rove even helped.

00:30:44.660 But they spent $2.5 million against me in a Secretary of State race primary, and they

00:30:53.000 slandered me.

00:30:53.920 And they just made outright lies, and I still won by 17% and 38,000 votes, even though I

00:31:01.880 only had 10% of their money.

00:31:04.620 And it's just that I got out and worked hard.

00:31:07.060 And it's the same thing right now.

00:31:08.920 George Soros just dumped another $7 million into Nevada.

00:31:12.620 And I don't have enough money to go up on TV, and it's a miracle I'm still ahead in the polls.

00:31:20.780 And it's because of our message, I believe.

00:31:23.260 And we're just out there.

00:31:24.660 One thing that I didn't do, I didn't moderate.

00:31:26.880 I stayed on the MAGA message after the primary.

00:31:29.920 And I think the people want that.

00:31:32.040 They want to hear that we're doing something about our election system.

00:31:35.640 And that's exactly what I've been doing since November 4, 2020.

00:31:39.320 What we're seeing nationally, too, is a real movement among the Hispanic voters to ward the

00:31:46.760 Republicans.

00:31:47.320 Is that also happening and happening big in Nevada?

00:31:50.920 Absolutely.

00:31:51.740 And one of the things I did is I hired a Hispanic outreach person that was written up in the

00:31:56.840 Wall Street Journal.

00:31:58.160 Actually, she's very good.

00:32:00.000 And Hispanics are coming over our way in droves out here, and also other minorities, too, but

00:32:06.760 specifically Hispanics.

00:32:08.600 And we're very happy about that.

00:32:10.680 I should get over 40%, 45% Hispanics out here in this election. 0.90

00:32:16.520 Well, you know, I sure hope you do.

00:32:19.120 I'm wishing you all of the best of luck in your campaign and your election.

00:32:24.300 We think you'd make an outstanding Secretary of State.

00:32:28.880 And thank you for everything you're doing to try to improve the state and the country.

00:32:33.560 We appreciate it.

00:32:34.300 Jim Marchant.

00:32:35.740 Thank you, Lou.

00:32:36.580 I appreciate it.

00:32:40.260 And God bless you.

00:32:41.600 And we'll talk soon.

00:32:43.000 God bless you, too, Lou.
