The Great America Show - MARXISM HAS TAKEN OVER THE VATICAN

00:00:00.000 hello everybody and welcome to the great america show it's great to have you with us today thank

00:00:06.720 you so much for joining us well apple has finally done it well you're probably wondering what i'm

00:00:12.720 talking about you get an iphone i welcome you to uh go to the uh the apple maps and you scroll down

00:00:19.640 off the coast the west coast of florida and off the eastern coast of uh corpus christi texas and

00:00:25.760 uh houston texas and uh right there sits smack in the middle the gulf of america zoom in if you

00:00:34.160 could see that it's no longer the gulf of mexico folks uh woke apple uh not subscribing to the uh

00:00:41.440 the woke ideology anymore i guess i'm not sure what's made them wake up to the realization that

00:00:47.760 this is america first uh this is the america first administration uh so good on apple for joining uh

00:00:54.900 the squad and uh and hearing with the times um president trump meeting with uh elon musk and

00:01:02.340 the doge committee uh trying to weave out government corruption and what's going on

00:01:06.660 marxist dems day in day out having a very tough time uh also happening this afternoon

00:01:12.180 tulsi gabbard uh being confirmed as dni senator froghorn leghorn mitch mcconnell of course voting

00:01:18.340 against her uh he's as deep state as they come president trump also uh having a phone call with

00:01:25.460 vladimir putin this afternoon in which vladimir putin says he's ready to start negotiating an end

00:01:30.440 to the war with ukraine this is massive uh this is the first breaking point we've seen since this war

00:01:37.480 has started joe biden watched it go on for years in his administration did nothing about it i'm not sure

00:01:43.180 he probably even knew there was a war going on over there with his mental capabilities and mental

00:01:48.320 mindset but that president trump is sending marco rubio over to ukraine next week to meet with

00:01:54.280 zelinski to figure out a way uh forward if zelinski doesn't want to end this war it tells us all we need

00:02:00.020 to know president trump also demanding uh 500 billion dollars in rare earth minerals from ukraine as a

00:02:07.520 repayment for all that money uh we let them we lent them we gave them whatever way you want to look at

00:02:13.500 it uh the way i look at it is we're never getting it back it was money we essentially gifted to them

00:02:19.020 uh with no strings attached but we'll see what happens uh with that our guest today is the director

00:02:26.760 for priests of life father frank pavone he's a man who's been at the forefront of fighting for life

00:02:32.840 uh for uh for the sanctity of life uh he was defrocked over a year ago by the catholic church

00:02:40.200 for simply supporting donald j trump as president of the united states imagine that

00:02:45.360 most pro-life president we've had in my lifetime a lot of people's lifetimes perhaps ever

00:02:51.240 and the catholic church defrocked him for supporting president trump father frank pavone

00:02:56.900 father pavone it's great to have you with us uh today on the great america show i really appreciate

00:03:01.660 you joining us uh we're going to get to in a little bit uh your recent uh pro-life leadership

00:03:07.600 coalition but first i want to get to some politics because that's what we like to talk about here on

00:03:12.720 this show uh the pope i'm not entirely sure what's going on with this man i had a bingo card for

00:03:20.160 president trump in this this uh administration and i have something that's not on my bingo card or i

00:03:25.940 think anyone's bingo card i want to play it for you take a listen

00:03:28.200 morning has some very harsh words for the i got harsh words for the pope pope want to fix the

00:03:32.780 catholic church i'm saying this is a lifelong catholic baptize catholic our first communion is

00:03:38.100 catholic confirmation of catholic he ought to fix the catholic church and concentrate on his work

00:03:42.760 and leave border enforcement to us he wants to attack us for securing our border he's got a wall

00:03:49.000 around the vatican does he not so he's got a wall around protect his people and himself but we can't

00:03:53.680 all around the united states so i wish he'd stick to the catholic church and fix that

00:03:57.140 tom holman president trump's border czar uh hitting them where it hurts uh let's begin with that first

00:04:03.780 a bit hypocritical of the pope wouldn't you say i i think so john i i i think it's very unfortunate that 0.55

00:04:10.220 uh somebody who obviously doesn't understand the united states very well uh that pope francis would uh 0.56

00:04:15.860 would be talking about this i mean we see him you know receiving biden over there and at the

00:04:21.740 vatican and of course president trump did uh visit over there as well but it's like how much

00:04:26.260 conversation has taken place between the pope's people uh and and and tom holman and and president

00:04:32.500 trump's uh uh cabinet and officials and it's like what is he just saying this out in the public to make

00:04:39.120 uh political points and here john is the other thought that went through my mind as soon as i heard this

00:04:43.840 where was the voice of the pope all during the biden administration

00:04:48.400 about the crisis that was unleashed at the border by by opening it up that was a humanitarian crisis

00:04:57.420 it remains now of course it's being reined in thank god but but that was an awful crisis it was a had

00:05:04.160 moral dimensions to it people were suffering and dying and being killed and and bringing in terrorism

00:05:09.860 and drugs across the border it's like where was his voice then you want to jump in now what about the

00:05:16.560 last four years you know it's i as tom holman i'm a lifelong catholic baptized i received all the

00:05:22.900 communion the sacraments and everything i'm eligible to be married in a catholic church should i ever

00:05:27.860 decide to get married um but it's truly disheartening to see i've spent some time in the vatican i've

00:05:35.180 probably been there three or four times in my life uh the most beautiful place probably on earth the

00:05:40.580 one of probably the most sacred places on earth um and i just sit back here a few hundred miles away

00:05:47.540 in new york and think about what this man has done to the catholic church when you started your your

00:05:53.400 process to become a priest to become a father did you ever think you'd see a day where you'd see

00:05:59.540 transgender activity in the catholic church i mean this is just among some of the the craziest things 1.00

00:06:05.900 this man has allowed in the church but something as simple as that did you ever imagine you'd see a

00:06:11.740 day that would come in the catholic church no i mean you know you study church history and you know

00:06:17.100 there's bad popes throughout history and you know the law of averages is eventually you're going to see

00:06:21.320 another bad pope uh we've kind of been spoiled you know in your lifetime in mine i mean we've had

00:06:26.080 saints as popes most of the time right john the 23rd was canonized the saint same thing with paul the

00:06:31.280 sixth then of course john paul ii john paul the great these men were saints so literally and uh and

00:06:38.100 i mean after a while your luck runs out right and we get somebody like this uh no he's been a disaster

00:06:44.560 really and you know what what what the what the biggest disaster is the role of the pope and you

00:06:49.600 can trace this right back to scripture when jesus says to peter confirm strengthen your brethren

00:06:55.320 the role of the pope is to be that clarifying unifying voice here is the faith who leaves you

00:07:03.600 no doubt no question his job is to set those clear boundaries this is catholic teaching this is not

00:07:10.940 this man does just the opposite you know and and and if you have to have like his defenders and

00:07:17.160 theologians coming forward and and starting to parse for us and you've seen this done as i have

00:07:23.300 you know line by line page after page oh here but here's what he really meant and here's why it

00:07:29.180 really doesn't depart from catholic teaching and here's this fine distinction and that fine distinction

00:07:34.580 you know what that just reinforces our argument and our concerns because if that's what you have to do

00:07:40.260 when the pope speaks well then you're saying the pope failed he's supposed to be a clarion clear call

00:07:46.800 here is the faith you know the good thing is the consolation in all of this is that the faith is wide

00:07:52.420 open for all of us to know and to see and to read and understand we don't need uh to go to a priest a

00:07:57.680 bishop a pope oh what is the faith teaches what is the faith teaches pick up the catechism learn you

00:08:02.480 know look at the life of the church we know what the faith says and that's where you know the pope

00:08:07.140 the bishops all of us we are all accountable to that teaching that has been handed on from the beginning

00:08:11.980 yeah and you know what there's no better person to be talking about this than you because you were

00:08:16.880 held accountable and defrocked by the catholic church for supporting president trump where this

00:08:23.660 this pope paraded joe biden you've seen some famous priests across the country allowing joe biden to

00:08:31.840 receive communion when he's a known uh harbiter of abortionists uh allows it same thing with nancy 0.56

00:08:39.520 pelosi the drunken uh former speaker of the house uh support abortion but they go to receive communion

00:08:47.020 like it like it's some sort of dinner uh it's truly remarkable good it's a major scandal it's a major

00:08:53.580 scandal and as you know i think as many of our viewers know you know i've devoted my life in

00:08:57.740 ministry to fighting abortion and i've had the permission and blessing of the church to do that

00:09:02.080 uh for the last 32 years uh and yet come come along pope francis now even under his pontificate

00:09:08.500 my work has been in fact i've talked with him like five times face to face so he has encouraged my

00:09:14.160 work he has he has uh blessed my work at various times but then there came a certain point where

00:09:19.280 certain bishops who were complaining like you said about president trump and my my unwavering support

00:09:24.040 of president trump uh they convinced pope francis to literally throw me out of the priesthood and

00:09:29.480 it's like fortunately our work at priesthood continues because we're governed and financed

00:09:33.800 independently uh of the pope and the bishop so uh we're in union with the teaching of the church

00:09:38.740 but we we continue on with our work but it's a sad thing you know what it is and and you know

00:09:43.460 anyone who studies my whole story because it's all out there we got nothing to hide we share our story

00:09:48.440 publicly um it will see a parallel john between the weaponization of american government and the

00:09:55.740 things that were thrown at president trump all the lawfare you'll see a parallel between that

00:10:00.680 and weaponization of church government so they use they have the same mo they have the same i think

00:10:06.800 it's some of the same people as a matter of fact um but you know when they don't want the word of

00:10:11.640 truth whether it's standing for pro-life standing for freedom standing for the constitution whatever

00:10:15.800 it is all of this stuff goes together the enemies of that have the same game plan and this canceled

00:10:23.760 culture the canceled culture in america that that now thank god the voters have have decisively

00:10:29.240 rejected has also been happening in the catholic church and it's time for us to decisively reject

00:10:34.360 it in the church as well some really good points you just made there i want to delve into some of

00:10:39.800 them uh one of my notes i just wrote down here is trump versus the church where do you believe

00:10:45.700 that disconnect came at what point there's got to be a reason uh for the church to disassociate

00:10:53.540 themselves and to defrock you and and and to not want to be associated with you further than you

00:10:59.060 just political uh uh uh points it yeah at what point did the the catholic church uh become so

00:11:08.380 disconnected with reality uh that they were so they so hated trump i mean as far as i'm concerned

00:11:15.560 president trump was a lifelong democrat it became a republican was pro uh pro-choice became pro-life

00:11:23.120 isn't that exactly what the catholic church tries to uh bring out of every single person uh in america

00:11:31.440 and and there's another adding to what you're saying very valid points is another reason why

00:11:36.360 these bishops and the pope himself should be very supportive of president trump i've been saying to

00:11:41.340 them he's the best friend uh that the church has here because of the following i've always said

00:11:46.480 during the election i said look i'm not necessarily looking for a president who lives my faith i'm looking

00:11:52.880 for a president who's going to defend my right to live my faith and even when it comes to issues like

00:11:58.580 abortion which is my primary uh issue um i'm not looking for him to be able to give the pro-life

00:12:04.180 speeches and articulate this the same way that i would i'm looking for him to defend the tools i need

00:12:10.320 to articulate that position and to defend the unborn and that's exactly what he's doing freedom of

00:12:15.220 speech he released the pro-life uh prisoners from from the what he called the biden gulag he he he's

00:12:21.780 strengthening our freedom of expression even for clergy in the pulpit president trump has been

00:12:26.700 strengthening their freedom to say what's on their mind so it's like he's the best friend we've got

00:12:30.900 i think that to your question it probably goes back a long time and i think that now that we are

00:12:37.360 pulling the veil away off of the deep state we see the stuff that just very recently has been happening

00:12:43.980 with exposing all this absolutely crazy spending that's been going on right millions of dollars to

00:12:51.260 help people in other countries to use the right pronouns for genders that don't even exist right 1.00

00:12:57.140 it's like all of this corruption is being exposed right usaid and it's even as you have seen

00:13:05.260 likely the pope knows this too and i think that that that that that disconnect started to happen

00:13:12.300 when they realized that president trump was the one who was going to uncover the deep state

00:13:18.140 and decimate it because i'm convinced that there's a lot of connection between the deep state

00:13:24.900 and what we can call the deep church and once they realized i think they realized that pretty quickly

00:13:30.540 that president trump as president was not going to tolerate any of this corruption that's when they

00:13:36.120 started to say we've got to keep this man from uh from getting into power you bring up two really

00:13:41.440 good points and i want to take a quick break here because i want to spend a whole segment on this

00:13:44.780 the deep state and the deep church uh there's so much to talk about and there's so much detail to go

00:13:50.160 into i don't want to come up against a hard break so we're going to take a quick break here we're

00:15:30.320 go there check it out check out all the great work that father frank provone is doing um before we went

00:15:35.800 to break there we were talking about deep state versus the deep church and the weaponization of the

00:15:41.400 church um let's start with the deep state and the deep church what characteristics do you think it is

00:15:50.260 that that the deep church feared in president trump when president trump came around in 2016 what were

00:15:56.920 they so worried about president trump uncovering now the other thing too is president trump is extremely

00:16:02.340 practical you know him i know him he's not the kind of man where you have to write letters to and you

00:16:08.140 have to go through procedural things he's the kind of man father where if you were in a meeting with

00:16:12.960 him and you asked him for something and he said yes to you it would get done there's no red tape right

00:16:19.560 right that's a threat to some people because uh there's a lot of people and paper pushers and

00:16:26.080 want to be high paid attorneys who want everything to go procedurally done whereas president trump just

00:16:33.020 wants to get it done so uh that's the issue i see with a lot of these people who saw him as a threat

00:16:39.380 what are some of the things that you saw characteristic wise of the weaponization of the

00:16:44.860 church and the weaponization of donald tree trump yeah i think part of it has to do with the um

00:16:50.920 you know the freedom of people to speak you know there is a uh of course america is based on the genius

00:16:57.760 that if you have people saying bad things false things well then the way to correct that is not

00:17:04.020 for power from on high to censor and silence the the the way to correct that is to encourage more

00:17:09.800 speech because enough people who know the truth will then speak out and counteract the errors that

00:17:15.060 other people say you don't have to to take away anybody's freedom to say it now within the catholic

00:17:20.600 church there's far less free speech than one might think uh i mean free speech is rooted not just in

00:17:26.920 the constitution is rooted in human dignity so you would expect the church to want to encourage that

00:17:32.120 and yet my experience has been just so for decades that when you want to say something within the

00:17:39.480 church that a particular bishop who might be in charge or a particular pope doesn't want to hear

00:17:44.620 uh because they're supporting a contrary movement or a contrary idea or a contrary political agenda

00:17:51.540 they silence you they silence you they sideline you and they what they do is they'll say

00:17:56.400 well you can no longer invite you know so and so to speak in your diocese or to speak in your

00:18:02.800 churches and the one pattern and and we see this in the way that also the democrats have treated trump

00:18:09.100 the pattern you will see right across the board is that they don't consider themselves obliged to offer

00:18:16.880 any explanation that is rational by any standard no reason i was told multiple times when when certain

00:18:24.740 bishops told me to you know keep quiet about my about my pro-life message believe it or not and and and

00:18:30.260 about my my uh my political opinions told me to keep quiet i said well can you point to anything that is

00:18:36.660 contrary to the church teaching because hey if i've said something contrary to church teaching either i'm

00:18:42.340 going to correct it or i'm not going to claim to embrace church teaching anymore uh but they couldn't

00:18:47.460 they couldn't offer any example of that and you know what they actually told me literally i was sitting

00:18:51.700 down with a cardinal one time and he said to me that we don't have to give you any reason now

00:18:59.700 you know i does that sound like does that sound like communist to you you know we don't have to

00:19:07.300 give you any we're the ones in charge and that's all that matters i said no that's not all that matters

00:19:13.100 what matters is that we're both human beings you know and and and and there's an equality there

00:19:18.080 so so the censorship is one is it and why what would they want to censor you know there's a lot

00:19:24.440 of a lot of um you know the the opposition to president trump we know has come from the the

00:19:29.220 globalist community right this notion that nations really don't matter that much we want to create you

00:19:34.540 know one world government and one world economy and all this stuff and president trump is like no

00:19:39.360 america first america matters that flag stands for something and this is where we have to stand

00:19:43.640 and and and there are those in the church i think at the level of the vatican and a lot of the bishops

00:19:48.820 they really are into this globalist thing and uh they want to silence anything that's going to

00:19:55.000 challenge that or even to make it's not even the arguments against it it's even to make people aware

00:20:00.480 that there's a problem in the first place i i think mark levin has done a great job here with his book

00:20:06.300 the democrat party hates america yeah a nice thick book i was i was referencing it all during the recent

00:20:11.800 election i said people got to read this because it's not just a hyper it's not a hyperbolic statement

00:20:16.920 it's not just venting it's a conclusion of a lot of scholarly research the democrat party does hate

00:20:22.800 america and a lot of the reasons for that are are i think shared by some of these church leaders

00:20:28.100 you know it i was at a church for a uh a funeral a mass uh maybe two or three months ago from my uncle

00:20:36.900 who passed away from 9 11 it was a new york police uh officer and died from 9 11 related injuries uh

00:20:44.020 died from brain cancer from it um that's a whole different story about how new york city tried to

00:20:49.220 scam out uh these uh first responders and these brave folks didn't want to pay out the families when

00:20:54.220 they died totally sick but what can you expect from new york and we're sitting there for the eulogy

00:20:59.360 from this priest and uh first of all you it's very hard people don't who don't go to church

00:21:04.800 don't realize this to get an american priest these days it's a lot of foreigners who come to america

00:21:10.140 who want to be priests god bless them but the truth of the matter is is you listen to some of these

00:21:15.900 masses and you really can't understand what some of them are saying with the thick and heavy accents

00:21:20.980 so you have to put in a little extra good word to get an american speaking priest so we do that we

00:21:26.740 get a we get an american priest a man who spoke so everybody can understand him and this man starts

00:21:32.200 talking about loving and caring for one another and being inclusive and and i was sitting there

00:21:37.980 looking at the casket and my uncle's like a hardcore republican and i'm sitting there and i'm going to

00:21:43.040 uncle bob is rolling over and rolling over and rolling over but we're sitting there for a eulogy and

00:21:50.080 these guys have the audacity to go ahead and start talking politics about being inclusive and i almost

00:21:55.820 wanted to get up and and say something but i didn't want to be that member of the family but

00:22:00.280 it's it's it's all throughout there and it's it's with the race we're in black black history month

00:22:04.960 right now i was at an event the other day and they start reading about black history and i got up and

00:22:09.020 walked out i'm not racist but it's it's it's not inclusive when you're separating two races okay that's

00:22:17.340 what we fought against segregation is what we fought against so that we're all one people doesn't matter

00:22:22.940 skin color we're all the same on the inside and for you want me to sit there and listen to you

00:22:27.980 preach about black people doing this it's disrespectful to the black folks who want to be 0.99

00:22:34.840 just like everybody else and treated just like everybody else your thoughts yeah exactly and then 0.95

00:22:41.260 so many of these pastors are they're deep into this racism lgbtq and whatnot it it's it's allowed

00:22:49.360 because of a weakening of the faith whereby you say you take one half of the gospel message so the

00:22:55.620 one half is hey we're here for everybody everybody is welcome well that that's true we're here for

00:23:01.920 everybody everybody's welcome but then the other half of it is well when we welcome you what are we

00:23:06.720 welcoming you to right we're welcoming you to a community that has an identity that identity is

00:23:12.680 created by a word that has been spoken it's the word of god and it it articulates a way of life

00:23:18.740 and that way of life says that certain activities are are in accordance with god's will and certain

00:23:24.920 ones aren't so right away it's like who are we if we can't get this whole thing correct about what

00:23:33.320 actual racism is versus you know the the crt idea of racism that we're in has somehow somehow i'm

00:23:42.000 inherently racist and i can't do anything about it right that's completely contrary to the christian

00:23:46.820 teaching about free will repentance how can i repent of something that that i didn't choose in

00:23:53.500 the first place so the whole thing is a denial of the gospel and we see some of these priests i think

00:24:00.760 some clergy have fallen into it uh john not even realizing what they've fallen into you know i think

00:24:07.060 it's like part of the milieu they drank it when they were in the seminary it gets reinforced through

00:24:12.940 their buddies that they could and a lot of them i i don't think they've even realized what they've

00:24:17.460 fallen into i think a lot of others including people at the level of bishops they know exactly

00:24:24.060 what's going on here and they literally believe in a different religion than those of us who are

00:24:29.640 sitting in the pews like you describe you and your family are doing you're expecting to hear

00:24:33.820 the gospel and church teaching and solid stuff you want to be fed spiritually these guys are on a

00:24:40.080 different track and they have a different agenda they believe in a different gospel you know i go to

00:24:44.040 church and it's it's sort of like for people who don't go to church and i i'll admit i don't go as

00:24:49.080 often as i should but when i go there i i literally feel at peace you know i feel like nothing else

00:24:54.400 matters on the outside world and every time i'm there i tell myself i should be here every single

00:24:59.220 sunday because it's one of the few peace places where i don't have to walk in with a cell phone i don't have to be

00:25:03.700 on my phone i don't have anyone calling me and and i'm at complete peace so to go there and have to

00:25:08.720 hear this stuff i'm like no you know i want to but the other thing that you the point you bring up which

00:25:13.980 i sort of agree but disagree with you on is uh you said that that these people are maybe being a

00:25:20.660 little bit indoctrinated you didn't say the word indoctrinated those are my words but in the seminaries

00:25:24.580 i would agree with you except the only problem is is the folks who are doing this stuff

00:25:29.220 are older generational folks folks your age i'm not saying it's a bad thing but you guys grew up

00:25:35.040 in probably the best times ever you didn't have to deal with what we're dealing with now you didn't

00:25:39.000 have cell phones you didn't have to deal with transgenderism and all this nonsense these are 1.00

00:25:44.180 older folks in their 40s and their 50s and their 60s grew up in the 70s and 80s who have like they know

00:25:51.060 right from wrong okay yeah you have a guy in the seminary now father who just got out of high school

00:25:56.320 just got out of college i understand a little bit more but these are folks who are older generational

00:26:01.840 people who have drank the kool-aid and and completely revolutionized themselves into these

00:26:08.440 woke zealots yeah it's it's really it's really bad some of them have been on the wrong track

00:26:13.200 for a long time and uh of course like we were saying before we were blessed with a very long pontificate

00:26:19.320 under under saint john paul ii and uh as a matter of fact i worked at the vatican for a little while

00:26:25.120 myself under him in in the pro-life office uh that he had over there um and there were people

00:26:31.400 even back then they were on the wrong side of the fence and they would try to oppose or undermine

00:26:35.680 things that john paul ii was doing so we do have a division here we have a division there is a deep

00:26:42.200 church just like there's a deep state uh they have a different agenda they have the same uh uh mo as the

00:26:49.340 as the as what we've seen the democrats do in the american government and we've just got to be aware of

00:26:54.260 this you know somebody who has pointed this out very in very much detail is archbishop diganel who

00:26:59.360 you know like myself was was badly treated by this pope and um and he has nevertheless exposed

00:27:05.880 a lot of this uh stuff that's uh that's going on yeah it's it's truly remarkable i just get

00:27:12.320 something here sent over to me here uh that uh pope francis has sent over a letter to u.s bishops i

00:27:18.740 don't know if you haven't had the chance to read this yet um but uh it's truly unbelievable uh now

00:27:25.860 if you if you uh break into the vatican or uh do any sort of destruction it's one to four years in

00:27:31.920 jail a minimum of a 26 000 fine so that's if you break into the vatican if you break into america it's

00:27:37.900 no problem especially if you don't live in america but he writes this uh this this letter to the

00:27:42.980 bishops quote i'm writing to you today to address a few words uh these delicate moments that you're

00:27:48.180 living in as pastors of people of god who walk together in the united states of america

00:27:52.240 one the journey from slavery to freedom that the people of israel traveled as narrated in the book

00:27:57.980 of exodus invites us to look at the reality of time so clearly marked by the phenomenon of migration

00:28:03.200 as a decisive moment in history to reaffirm not only our faith in god who was always close

00:28:08.940 incarnate migrate and refugee but also infinite and transcendent dignity of every human person

00:28:16.500 he's this is a man who's the pope a man of the catholic church and he's writing this thing as if he's

00:28:23.160 some sort of politician uh who does he think he is uh to be trying to talk sense or politics in

00:28:33.020 america it's mind-blowing to me well you know that they that what he has to realize is the american

00:28:38.820 people have spoken we've made a decision right in this election we have had enough of the open

00:28:45.560 border we have had enough of gangs coming into our neighborhood we've had enough of our kids being

00:28:50.640 killed by fentanyl that has come over the border enough is enough so what he's doing i think by

00:28:56.960 issuing this letter and the bishops who are going to regurgitate it is just going to increase

00:29:04.040 the alienation the alienation that many catholics are experiencing not from the church itself because

00:29:10.740 we know hey listen i'm not going to give my enemies any power over me to lose my relationship

00:29:16.540 with christ the sacraments now and the truth of the of the faith that it doesn't affect our relationship

00:29:21.660 with the faith but politically and and in terms of uh recognizing that there are wolves in sheep's

00:29:29.060 clothing here no he's only increasing that alienation uh this is not going to work you know

00:29:34.760 i one of the things i was thinking on on november 6th right after we got this great victory in the

00:29:39.480 election i said wow the american people have rejected this open border ideology uh and it's really a

00:29:47.100 it's really a a it's a hijacking of some very legitimate ideas of course these are human beings of course

00:29:53.780 they have human dignity of course we need to welcome people to the extent we are able and the

00:29:59.220 catholic catechism puts those boundaries there he says the welcoming nation they've got to have their

00:30:04.780 own laws they've got to take care of their own people and they've got to set limits which then

00:30:08.560 the person wanting to enter the country must obey so all of that is part of catholic teaching

00:30:14.380 but if you hijack that just for a political position and this is what you're pointing out very very

00:30:21.420 uh accurately then that's that's wrong that's a disservice to the people because you're pretending

00:30:27.900 as if there's only one part of the immigration message oh the dignity of these people and the

00:30:32.920 need to welcome them i heard one bishop say you know an encounter with every migrant is an encounter 0.99

00:30:39.400 with jesus christ and my response to him was yeah except when they're coming to rape you kill you kill 0.93

00:30:45.120 your kids with drugs or blow up cities you know but we know that people have human dignity even

00:30:51.340 if they do evil but the fact of the matter is that's not the relevant point in this whole problem

00:30:57.940 of how do we how do we protect our nation how do we control this immigration problem they're so 1.00

00:31:03.300 missing the point and you got to think this you know a lot of these guys aren't they more intelligent

00:31:08.000 than this and that because that's what leads to the question i mean ultimately the question boils 1.00

00:31:12.140 down to are you stupid or are you evil or both you know right i mean is that they don't understand 0.99

00:31:17.620 this basic point we're making now or is that they they don't care and they're just pushing a political 1.00

00:31:22.520 ideology yeah you know the the overwhelm we all have hearts at the end of the day right we do feel

00:31:27.940 for the folks who have come here to seek refuge right we as human beings we have hearts but at the end

00:31:34.700 of the day we are a law of nations and you know i i tend to think that the the overwhelming majority

00:31:40.720 of people who do come here illegally break the law illegally are coming for the right reason to make money

00:31:45.620 and live a better life but at the end of the day as i said we are a law of nations now it takes one

00:31:52.460 bad apple to ruin it for everybody which is what's happening we've got drug dealers coming in sex 1.00

00:31:57.840 traffickers uh human track where's the pope draw the line i mean where do you draw the line that okay

00:32:05.540 this guy could come in but this guy can't come in first of all second of all why doesn't he open the

00:32:10.240 doors doors to the vatican why doesn't he open the doors to the vatican why doesn't he build

00:32:14.900 refugee sites in italy i'm sure there'd be plenty of refugees uh from africa who go up into europe

00:32:22.520 uh who would love to live in italy well you know and and writing a letter like this to the united

00:32:28.640 states bishops again from the outside like he is and without you know a whole lot of consultation with

00:32:33.780 the trump people uh you know as you've been in office of what just a few weeks now at the point that

00:32:39.140 you and i are talking um would suggest too that it's like wait a second are you why are you perpetuating

00:32:45.820 uh also this this misconception that the trump administration is being completely

00:32:51.200 non-discriminatory in in just oh let's get them all kick them all out of the country that's actually 1.00

00:32:56.800 not what's happening they are prioritizing this tom holman has explained this very well

00:33:01.320 we're starting with the most dangerous people you know you're going to disagree with that you know

00:33:06.760 in other words treat fairly the people you're criticizing and and they say look they are being

00:33:12.340 discriminatory they are being common sense this is going to be an administration of common sense

00:33:17.020 the trump administration that common sense and they're starting with the worst offenders and then

00:33:22.080 and then as as as things improve then we address all the rest of it but you know illegal is illegal

00:33:28.580 like you say we're a nation of laws illegal is illegal and people oh well not all the not all

00:33:33.960 the illegal immigrants are immigrants are criminals what do you mean if they're here illegally they've 0.95

00:33:39.100 committed a crime you can't you you can't ignore that but at the same time the administration is being

00:33:45.740 smart in the way that they're prioritizing the deportation it's like why can't we have a rational

00:33:50.840 conversation about this because these are marxist uh father it's what they are um i'll give you my two

00:33:57.640 sense on i don't think donald trump's going to wind up deporting and i'm not saying i agree or

00:34:01.120 disagree with this but i don't think he's going to wind up going to to deport folks who are working

00:34:06.340 in kitchens across america right working that's just my personal opinion i think it's going to be

00:34:11.440 too hard to do uh and i think he'll probably lose support of the republican party among things like that

00:34:16.880 that's my personal opinion i'm not saying because i know the audience is probably getting red in the

00:34:20.800 face right now uh that i'm saying this but that's just my personal opinion of what i think is going to

00:34:26.140 happen um who knows we'll see what happens i want to take one more quick break here when we return i

00:34:31.020 want to talk about your pro-life leadership coalition and the letter you just sent to congress i also want

00:34:36.480 to talk about some other issues that are plaguing the catholic church catholic church that the pope

00:34:40.940 doesn't want to talk about and some of these folks some charities and 501c3s who are helping uh

00:34:48.120 illegals come to this country even if they're being raped or not we're coming right back with father 1.00

00:36:13.440 we encourage you guys to uh pass a pastor i'm thinking of talking to robert jeffress

00:36:19.000 father uh i want to turn to an issue that's been plaguing the catholic church which i talk about

00:36:24.320 often on the show because i don't shy away from anything and it's one that's been plaguing the

00:36:29.520 catholic church for a very very long time and it's pedophilia yes um pope wants to talk about

00:36:35.700 illegal immigrants why is he not addressing the number one issue right now happening inside his church

00:36:42.520 which is probably happening i hate to say this probably somewhere in a church as we speak right

00:36:48.740 now oh it's really it's really a tragedy it has to be addressed constantly uh uh many of these uh

00:36:56.500 bishops and the pope you know have indeed uh spoken about this but uh you know when they begin to

00:37:03.300 make unfair criticisms this is going to be brought back in front of them just like you're raising now

00:37:08.500 and uh it you know it all boils down to uh the fact that if you're going to be a leader in this in any

00:37:15.300 kind of spiritual way it starts with one thing and that's called repentance we look at ourselves first

00:37:21.240 we never go out and try to get other people to live according to the moral law unless we are starting

00:37:27.460 with saying lord i have i have failed i have broken the moral law myself i repent now the fact that we're

00:37:34.380 sinners and the fact that we may have failed doesn't mean that we lose the the right and even

00:37:40.100 the duty to correct other sinners but what you're raising is a very important issue that yeah we've got

00:37:46.700 a lot of things to to clean up within the household of god and that's got to be uh their primary focus

00:37:53.000 you bring up such a good point i have a buddy of mine who drinks every day drinks beers every single

00:37:58.340 day and every time i tell him to stop drinking so much he says we all sin differently and you know

00:38:03.140 there's a very big line between uh some of the sins that these folks are committing in the church

00:38:09.300 and and drinking a little bit too much um but you know it's truly a travesty uh one of the high schools

00:38:15.340 i went to in staten island new york years after i graduated turned out the monsignor was accused of

00:38:20.740 making sexual advances on kids and i had buddies call me and joke about it i said he knew probably knew

00:38:26.320 better not to mess with me because i would have broken his neck yeah there's the folks who are

00:38:31.320 getting this and you constantly see them they're the vulnerable people they're not the football players

00:38:36.020 uh they're not the baseball players these are the kids who come from broken households the people 0.98

00:38:40.220 who come from households where it's very very sad and the catholic church doesn't want to talk about

00:38:46.040 that but i bring this point up again they were so quick to diff rock you for supporting donald trump

00:38:52.560 does anyone not see the problem that we have here

00:38:56.500 yeah right i mean does anyone see like the balance of the scale the the lady justice

00:39:04.120 yeah no a lot of people brought that up to me you know when they were expressing support for my

00:39:08.640 situation say hey he's he's punishing you for doing pro-life work and and and and supporting the

00:39:14.040 most pro-life president we've ever had it says and when is he going to kick out some of these priests

00:39:18.020 that are doing some of these terrible crimes that you're referring to he the pope himself is leaving

00:39:21.720 in place some of these priests that are that that where it's not just a suspicion it's it's proven

00:39:26.540 that they're doing this kind of activity so you know what though you know dan bongino points out

00:39:31.600 something that that i often reference and it is that when we see this kind of double standard when we

00:39:37.720 see this kind of hypocrisy you know we often use those words oh it's a double standard it's hypocrisy

00:39:42.720 and dan says you know it's not really just that it's hierarchy and then of course the word has

00:39:49.260 particular applications of the what we're talking about the catholic bishops and the pope hierarchy

00:39:53.500 but dan even uses in a more general sense it's that i have power so i don't care if it seems to

00:40:00.680 be a double standard or is a double standard i don't care that it looks like hypocrisy or is hypocrisy

00:40:06.120 i'm in charge and it's going to be this way i'll do what i want to do and that unfortunately is what

00:40:11.620 we're dealing with here isn't it that it's power it's will it's not reason it's not rationality it's not

00:40:16.700 consistency it's not uh you know following the logic it's power and it's power unfortunately that

00:40:23.020 is corrupt and that's where the people of god you know have to respond we all have to respond by

00:40:28.760 saying i'm going to live in a in a with integrity and i'm going to speak with integrity i think that's

00:40:35.620 one of the the key themes i always come back to in my work and in my battles with some of these

00:40:40.420 bishops is that i say look we all have to be able to say at the end of the day i spoke my mind and if

00:40:48.220 we can't honestly speak what is on our mind and in our heart then we betray our very selves we betray

00:40:54.420 our very lives and uh i always remember charles krauthammer saying that you know when he was dying

00:40:59.220 one of the last things he said that was his message he says you know speak your mind and i think that's

00:41:04.440 just a key part of the solution of all these ills you know i i hate to say this and it troubles me to

00:41:11.540 say it but we've seen a lot of things happen over the last three years and boycotts of companies bud 0.97

00:41:16.540 light probably being among the the biggest who still haven't recovered from their idiotic marketing 0.98

00:41:22.620 campaign of a transgender but maybe it's time for the american as you put it in the in the first segment 0.99

00:41:28.460 being a catholic is a way of life it's not something you have to subscribe to and pay for

00:41:34.000 something maybe you go pick up you probably don't have to pick up pay for a bible you can go get

00:41:39.040 somewhere for free you download the apps on your phone it's something you subscribe to it's a it's

00:41:43.440 a belief i always joke with people i meet who tell me they're half catholic or they're half jewish and

00:41:48.220 they're they're half another religion and i told them it's not possible because it's a belief you can't

00:41:53.140 be half it's not like you're half italian and and half irish it's a belief it's a belief system

00:41:57.960 it's something that you believe in something that you subscribe to spiritually all right it's not

00:42:03.040 something maybe it's time that people start boycotting the catholic church and i think

00:42:06.980 we're seeing it right here in new york catholic schools closing at record rates and i think it's

00:42:14.060 it's it's got to be part to do with that it's part of the indoctrination um eventually it's going to pose

00:42:20.220 a problem because the catholic church is going to run out of money is that is that something you see

00:42:24.800 happening you know well you bring up a very very good point and let me uh flesh it out a little bit

00:42:30.460 okay so first of all the catholic church is very very big and very very diverse uh my one of my

00:42:36.560 mentors father benedict groschel used to say the catholic church is so old and so big just about

00:42:41.960 anything you say about it is true you know it was an interesting insight then and i say this to point

00:42:47.540 out the following wonder the umbrella of what we call the catholic church there are thousands of

00:42:54.280 different ministries and we call them apostolates in other words groups of people getting together

00:42:59.180 to do a good work some form of service to god's people some form of teaching of some aspect of the

00:43:06.980 gospel so people in other words when they say people might be asked or do you donate to the

00:43:12.260 catholic church well it's not like it's one place you go to donate you don't donate to the catholic

00:43:16.640 church you donate to a specific ministry in the catholic church to a religious order to a specific

00:43:22.860 parish to a specific diocese to the bishop's appeal now i have a lot of people who say to me listen

00:43:28.280 they'll say to me well let me just talk in my own circle right so we have our ministry priests for

00:43:32.960 life people will say to me hey listen i'm a practicing catholic i support your ministry i don't

00:43:40.880 support my diocese because my bishop in my diocese is woke he's not doing the right thing he's a

00:43:46.320 globalist he's a marxist whatever and it's like hey listen you make that judgment you support and so

00:43:52.840 they're still supporting catholic teaching and work there but but it's like so you don't have to feel

00:43:59.380 like you're you're abandoning the church you're not abandoning the church there are many different

00:44:03.660 ministries within the church and this is where i think people should have in line with what you're

00:44:08.160 saying they should have the freedom to evaluate what are these who am i going to give this money to

00:44:15.020 what are they doing what's the work they're doing are they you know people of good standing and being

00:44:19.980 honest and and and and honest responsible people and it's a work i believe in so if it's the pro-life

00:44:26.040 work or if it's some ministry that's serving the sick or the poor you know you don't have to support

00:44:30.640 necessarily your diocese or even your parish and if you're going to a parish that's not feeding you

00:44:35.580 spiritually find another one that is there are a lot of good ones out there you know there's a lot

00:44:39.980 of good clergy out there doing great work so the people of god i guess if we wanted to summarize

00:44:44.460 we have to say let's be more discerning than we have been in the past let's be more particular

00:44:50.880 about how we're going to give our money to support the catholic church it's not either on or off either

00:44:57.080 i'm with the church or i'm i'm a rebellion against the church it's not that at all the church is very

00:45:01.360 big very diverse get to know all these different distinctions it sucks that something like this has

00:45:07.460 to even be brought up but it usually takes something catastrophic to happen for something to be done

00:45:13.880 about it yeah president trump almost getting his head shot off she has the way that secret service 1.00

00:45:18.500 started protecting him uh plane crash in washington dc change the route that uh helicopters shouldn't be

00:45:25.740 flying uh past airplanes that are landing uh right in front of them uh it's it's terrible that we

00:45:31.960 haven't learned i mean we're the smartest uh nation in the world we have the the most brilliant innovators

00:45:38.620 uh in the world uh for us to have to constantly constantly learn the hard way it's truly ridiculous

00:45:46.880 in my opinion um i want to turn to somebody else another organization that i think needs to to feel

00:45:53.840 the pain and it's a catholic charities people don't realize the catholic charities and the red cross are the

00:45:59.640 two that i'll give you off the top of my mind that i know about but i know there's a lot of

00:46:02.780 other 501c3s who are taking advantage of that 501c uh three tax abatement we'll call it um the catholic

00:46:11.640 charities what people don't realize is how much work they do on the southern border and it's not work

00:46:16.680 that you would think they're not sitting there protecting people they're harboring people they're

00:46:20.620 allowing the illegals to come in they're they're bringing them along the routes they're teaching them 0.99

00:46:24.900 how to get there uh they're setting up campsites to these people how do we get these people the heck

00:46:30.520 out of the business of politics well you know uh president trump is helping quite a bit now with

00:46:37.120 doge and you know we're going to see a lot of this funding being a lot of the funding that's being

00:46:41.780 cut now is funding that makes its way into catholic charities i say good if they're if they're not

00:46:47.880 facilitating uh uh the law you know you can you can make a whole lot of reason you can rationalize

00:46:54.960 why you're breaking the law and use compassion as an example if you look oh yeah i'm gonna go steal

00:46:59.900 i'm gonna go steal from the grocery store later on because i got a friend who's hungry you know so i

00:47:04.360 make the argument based on human dignity and my compassion for the hungry man for breaking the law

00:47:09.020 no that's not how it works and i think you know you're bringing up an important point i think what we've

00:47:13.320 got to do i think what we've got to do has already started to happen we've got first of all

00:47:17.680 those now in power in america legitimately you know god bless elon musk and and president trump

00:47:23.960 and everybody's working together identify the problem and just turn off the money that's going

00:47:29.400 into all of this and secondly for the rest of us we're not in those positions of political decision

00:47:36.200 making but we have a voice and i think if we bring attention to these things on social media in

00:47:41.980 private conversations even in communication with our pastors let our pastors start hearing about

00:47:47.460 this and and and and you know i i think we all have a role here and it just starts with just

00:47:53.740 shedding the light on what's happening and and and let's have the backs of our our president and and

00:48:00.860 and all of those he's asking to enforce these things people like tom holman we saw the clip of

00:48:05.680 him earlier people like elon musk defend these people on social media defend them in conversations

00:48:11.800 in in editorials and everybody just raise your voice uh really really loud really really consistently

00:48:18.580 i think john that that's the path forward yeah and i i often tell people on this show and i tell you

00:48:24.600 something i don't tell you to take my word for it i'm giving it to you as fact but i ask you to go

00:48:28.960 do the research yourself you can go to uh cccsny.org and that's the catholic charities of new york right here

00:48:37.620 and right on their home page it says immigration legal services we provide legal consultations

00:48:42.400 represent representation and assistance to documented and undocumented immigrants we also

00:48:48.460 provide services with office spanning from manhattan staten island the bronx west chester

00:48:52.000 they get these people jobs in the harbor along the way they're partaking in criminal acts and the only

00:48:58.100 way for the american people to find out about this folks like you and i to get the word out to them

00:49:03.000 otherwise they're in the dark uh my father goes to an event every single year for the catholic

00:49:07.600 charities gives them thousands of dollars until i went to him and told him do you know what these

00:49:12.560 people do and my father's more right-wing than i am and he didn't have nice things to say but

00:49:18.460 nonetheless he never cut a check again but that's the way it has to be it's the word of mouth because

00:49:23.560 people don't know and it's not their fault is you know what you think you're giving to a good cause

00:49:28.360 the same thing with the red cross uh you know you think you're giving to a good cause but who really

00:49:33.500 sees this money um father bavone i promise we'll give you some time at the end of the show to talk

00:49:38.960 about your pro-life leadership coalition so now's the time let's get to it the floor is yours

00:49:44.120 as much time as we need to get through this well thank you so much like we mentioned already in this

00:49:49.960 program prolifevote.com is one of our main websites and what we did recently at our headquarters

00:49:56.060 here at priest for life we gathered together uh about 16 national pro-life leaders now there are

00:50:01.580 many many groups many different groups we do strive to work together and for decades i've been

00:50:06.500 privileged to uh to organize meetings of the pro-life leaders and one of the things that came out of that

00:50:12.280 meeting was and people can see this on pro-life vote is a letter to congress one of the key

00:50:18.200 opportunities the pro-life movement has at the moment and it's actually in line with all this stuff

00:50:22.940 we've been talking about with doge uncovering you know where's all this wasteful spending going um

00:50:28.980 is this part of the thing that's being uncovered is the wasteful spending of our taxpayer dollars

00:50:34.660 going to planned parenthood and to the abortion industry and to abortions themselves there's been

00:50:41.160 um just too much spending of taxpayer money for the abortion procedures to be carried out 0.91

00:50:49.220 and for organizations that either perform or promote abortions to be funded both in america

00:50:55.500 and overseas president trump is all in favor of stopping this and those were some of the first

00:51:01.200 executive actions he took in the very first seven days of his second term to cut off money from these

00:51:07.780 groups that promote abortion overseas we've been seeing for example uh the united states under democrat

00:51:14.720 administration saying to countries where you know they need our help to develop their their economy

00:51:20.020 or their agriculture and and and we actually attach strings to our humanitarian assistance to the to

00:51:28.520 the tune of well you've got to change your laws on abortion you've got to allow the killing of your 0.95

00:51:33.740 unborn children then we'll give you money to feed your born children i mean this is just insanity

00:51:38.840 so what we have said as pro-life leaders to the congress is look all the polling shows that the

00:51:47.340 american people don't want their money to pay for abortions even if someone says i'm pro-choice i think

00:51:51.460 abortion should be legal still they don't want to pay for it for the most part secondly uh the president

00:51:57.300 has taken executive actions we expected him to take to start cutting off a lot of this funding

00:52:03.220 from from the killing of children and third bills have been introduced in congress our friend congressman

00:52:10.520 chris smith for example i've worked with him for for decades uh the no taxpayer funding for abortion

00:52:16.120 uh bill uh would would just simplify and extend across all government agencies this basic basic norm that

00:52:25.040 no our money is not going to be used to kill somebody else's baby um so we're calling on congress

00:52:30.840 to do the task to do the job we we've also seen elon musk speak out about the wasteful spending to

00:52:36.400 planned parenthood he did that in an editorial last month together with vivek ramaswamy so it's

00:52:41.980 encouraging that they're pointing this out it's in their consciousness it's in their awareness

00:52:46.060 bills have been introduced executive actions taken polling is with us now's the time to defund

00:52:51.980 planned parenthood and the abortion industry and we have uh this statement here people can see it on

00:52:57.880 pro-life vote spread it around from uh from all these pro-life leaders representing millions and

00:53:03.320 millions of americans i would say tens of millions and uh we're going to keep pushing for this and

00:53:08.460 we're urging people to talk to their their representative and their two u.s senators and

00:53:13.080 say listen enough of this money going to uh going to abortion you know abortion such a sick and 1.00

00:53:19.340 disgusting thing the thing that actually hurts my soul about it uh father is how mainstream the

00:53:25.900 democrats have made it now i understand there's people who are are pro-choice okay i don't

00:53:31.140 understand the rationale they're thinking behind it but i understand there's people who have that

00:53:35.660 opinion okay and they're never going to change their mind maybe unless something as i said before

00:53:41.000 catastrophic happens for them to open their eyes and realize it but what the democrats have done with

00:53:46.320 abortion is super disgusting because they made it like it's a cool thing right yeah it's cool to have an 1.00

00:53:52.780 abortion first of all you go out and you see these rallies and i'm not being mean about it but you 0.97

00:53:57.680 look at some of these women who are holding up these signs they don't have to worry about ever having 0.99

00:54:01.360 abortions because there's nobody who in their right mind is going to impregnate them in the first place 1.00

00:54:05.440 but what they've done is so disgusting with making it so mainstream and cool you're cool if you have an

00:54:13.700 abortion what is cool about that what's right about i had an argument with a family member about this 0.87

00:54:18.820 there's nothing cool about it it's sick and it's disgusting um you know like i had said before

00:54:25.120 there's people who are never going to change their mind okay it is what it is but then the people who

00:54:30.180 go out there and and and memorialize it they're a whole different type of evil and there's a special

00:54:35.360 place in hell for them you get the last word here well i challenge the democrats describe what you

00:54:41.260 defend that's one thing they never do john and we have a website called look at abortion.org somebody 0.88

00:54:46.240 going to argue about her to say it's a good thing or try to celebrate it two websites look at abortion 0.78

00:54:51.340 and also abortion testimonies that's our silent no more campaign not only does abortion destroy a baby

00:54:58.560 and you can see the pictures in the videos of it and look at abortion and these people they don't want

00:55:02.980 to describe what they defend but it also harms that mother people who have lifelong uh problems with

00:55:10.260 for their fertility their health their relationships their self-esteem it destroys them

00:55:16.060 and abortion testimonies.com gives that we have a whole movement worldwide of these testimonies

00:55:21.440 abortion harms everything it touches it is disgusting as you say let's face the reality

00:55:27.060 and and let's get rid of this cancer on our on our society there's not a ban on contraceptives for a 1.00

00:55:33.440 reason i say this to all the time to people with the exception of obviously rape and incest there's no

00:55:38.740 excuse as to why you're getting pregnant you can go to the store you can go to one of these places

00:55:43.660 you get free contraceptive you can go to usa id i i heard they spent like 50 million dollars in

00:55:49.060 condoms there's absolutely no excuses uh you don't want to get pregnant without the two exceptions i 0.84

00:55:55.560 just said there's no reason for you to get pregnant that there should be no reason we should be even 1.00

00:55:59.040 having this discussion uh father frank frank bovone prolifevote.com he's the director of priest for
