00:00:33.760 Hello, everybody, and welcome to The Great America Show.
00:00:37.280 It is great to have you with us.
00:00:38.800 President Trump started this week back in a New York City courtroom as the Marxist Dems are hoping to do all the damage they can possibly do to him to keep him off the campaign trail.
00:00:52.060 Trump gave a statement before entering the courtroom.
00:00:55.760 He said that this is an outrage.
00:00:59.680 Thank you very much.
00:01:00.840 I just want to say before we begin, these are all Biden trials.
00:01:04.500 This is done as election interference.
00:01:06.860 Everybody knows it.
00:01:07.800 I'm here instead of being able to be in Pennsylvania and Georgia and lots of other places campaigning, and it's very unfair.
00:01:16.220 Fortunately, the poll numbers are very good.
00:01:18.040 They've been going up because people understand what's going on.
00:01:21.280 This is a witch hunt, and it's a shame, and it comes out of Washington.
00:01:24.920 It's in coordination with Washington, everything, including the DA's office.
00:01:29.240 It's in coordination with Washington.
00:01:31.560 I just want people to understand that.
00:01:33.360 This is done for purposes of hurting the opponent of the worst president in the history of our country.
00:01:40.720 It's a disgrace what these Marxist Dems are doing to President Trump, doing to our system of justice and this nation.
00:01:48.720 Over the weekend, Speaker Mike Johnson issued his latest betrayal of the Republican Party, a $95 billion betrayal.
00:01:56.860 Johnson and his unit party of 101 rhinos sending another gift to foreign nations, in particular, Ukraine.
00:02:04.980 $60 billion of it to Ukraine, $26 billion to Israel, and another $8 billion to Taiwan.
00:02:12.620 Not a single dollar of it going to secure our southern border.
00:02:16.540 But $300 million of it will go towards securing Ukraine's eastern border.
00:02:21.900 How comforting.
00:02:22.660 And Speaker Johnson, who has been nothing but a disgrace as Speaker, talking to the press after passing the bill,
00:02:30.440 he says this funding was needed because Russia is a real threat to our prosperity and security,
00:02:36.140 and this issue demands American leadership.
00:02:39.460 He's right, but America isn't getting that leadership.
00:02:44.120 I said these are not normal times.
00:02:45.740 They're not.
00:02:46.580 The world is destabilized, and it's a tinderbox.
00:02:49.780 It's a dangerous time.
00:02:51.040 Three of our primary adversaries, Russia and Iran and China, are working together,
00:02:56.980 and they're being aggressors around the globe.
00:02:59.360 And they're a global threat to our prosperity and our security.
00:03:03.420 Their advance threatens their free world, and it demands American leadership.
00:03:08.000 If we turn our backs right now, the consequences could be devastating.
00:03:11.480 It makes you wonder just who does Mike Johnson think he's fooling.
00:03:16.160 The military-industrial complex and the warmongers in Congress seem to own just about 100% of Speaker Mike Johnson.
00:03:25.820 Well, after that bill was passed, one of Mike Johnson's mouthpieces, Congressman Tony Gonzalez,
00:03:32.380 ran to make an appearance on CNN.
00:03:34.700 Well, to kind of, I don't know, kiss up to, I guess, Speaker Johnson.
00:03:42.260 Or maybe it was worse than that.
00:03:44.660 Reino Gonzalez took the opportunity not to call on the House to start working for America and Americans,
00:03:50.260 but to call out those great Republicans who stood up to this gross abuse of foreign spending.
00:03:56.580 Even going so far as calling fellow Republicans members of the KKK.
00:04:02.740 How many K's in KKK?
00:04:05.060 Three.
00:04:05.920 Take a listen to this idiot.
00:04:08.320 Try to figure that out.
00:04:09.620 He will survive.
00:04:10.660 Look, the House is a rough and rowdy place, but Mike Johnson is going to be just fine.
00:04:14.780 I served 20 years in the military.
00:04:16.360 It's my absolute honor to be in Congress, but I served with some real scumbags.
00:04:20.480 Look, Matt Gaetz, he paid minors to have sex with him at drug parties.
00:04:25.600 Bob Goode endorsed my opponent, a known neo-Nazi.
00:04:29.500 These people used to walk around with white hoods at night.
00:04:32.420 Now they're walking around with white hoods in the daytime.
00:04:35.440 Gonzalez is not only a rhino, but as big a fool as Mike Johnson.
00:04:39.920 I don't even know why they waste their time calling themselves Republicans anymore.
00:04:45.160 They are outright Democrats.
00:04:47.940 And by the way, they're gutless wonders without principle.
00:04:51.880 Our guest today is attorney Jesse Banal.
00:04:54.960 He represents President Trump in many of President Trump's civil cases, and he worked on the 2016 Trump campaign as a parliamentary procedure expert.
00:05:06.400 And now here is Jesse Banal.
00:05:08.360 And Jesse, just great to have you with us here.
00:05:11.960 And let's begin with the good news.
00:05:13.800 Letitia James having thrown back in her teeth that there was something about the bond that just simply was inordinate and unjustified, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
00:05:30.660 It's good to see her just basically floundering as she should have been throughout.
00:05:38.040 Your thoughts?
00:05:38.680 Yeah, that's right, Lou.
00:05:39.940 This was a temper tantrum.
00:05:41.460 It was a temper tantrum by an attorney general who thought that she could be able to destroy Donald Trump's wealth in New York City without him getting full access to his appellate rights.
00:05:56.640 She believes very strongly that the process should be the punishment.
00:06:02.060 And so she found a judge that was willing to go along with almost everything that she asked for in a hearing.
00:06:07.840 You know, this is the judge that thought Mar-a-Lago was only worth about $18 million, in which case, you know, most people would say, oh, I'll take 10 of them.
00:06:14.580 And so she threw this temper tantrum and said, well, President Trump was able to come up with $175 million bond.
00:06:25.820 You know, that's a huge number for almost every American to be able to come up with.
00:06:29.740 And she said that just simply wasn't enough.
00:06:32.680 And it's preposterous.
00:06:34.060 It was so preposterous that even Judge Angeron, who's no friend of Donald Trump, who's proven himself to be a Trump hater, wouldn't even go along with her request.
00:06:41.960 It is stunning to see the hate, the constancy of that hate over years and to campaign to destroy the man and then to proceed in the New York judiciary to do just that effort.
00:07:03.160 It's just amazing to me that there's no one in the New York court system who will bridle her back, at least bring her to heel and suddenly discover perhaps that there is such a thing as law and order.
00:07:20.980 Yeah, that's exactly what should be happening right now.
00:07:25.100 That is what our justice system was designed for is for some is when you have a judge that just goes so far out of left field as you have a judge anger on or, you know, when you have a prosecutor that is so aggressive like Letitia James, you're supposed to have a judicial system that that brings them back in line.
00:07:44.120 But in too many courthouses right now, there's a poison.
00:07:47.900 There's a poison that goes beyond just the judges on the bench.
00:07:51.220 It goes back to what's going on in their chambers.
00:07:53.660 And I've actually been back in judicial chambers when this happens.
00:07:57.260 But these judges, they talk with each other.
00:07:59.360 They talk with their their secretaries, their judicial assistants, their law clerks.
00:08:03.640 And in so many of these places in New York, there's such a fervor of hatred against Donald Trump that none of them can can withstand the social pressure that goes on in their chambers to actually stand up for law and order when law and order supports Donald Trump.
00:08:21.880 And so that's a really, really difficult thing that is very much undermining the rule of law in America right now.
00:08:28.320 It's certainly in America, certainly in New York state.
00:08:31.580 I think New York state now has proved itself to be the perhaps I'm going to I haven't I'm sitting here thinking there is Illinois.
00:08:40.600 There are other states.
00:08:42.340 There is California.
00:08:43.600 But in my experience and coverage, there is no state worse than New York.
00:08:51.020 And the only place in the United States more corrupt in its judiciary is the District of Columbia.
00:08:59.600 Yeah.
00:08:59.700 I mean, those are two prize examples of just everything our our system should not be about.
00:09:07.380 Yeah, Lou, that's exactly right.
00:09:08.800 And it's no secret that that's the reason that that, you know, these the Biden White House, these government bureaucrats that hate Donald Trump.
00:09:19.660 And they're doing everything they can to bring these cases against Trump in New York City and Washington, D.C.
00:09:27.020 It's a really sad thing because, of course, most New York state is a beautiful place with wonderful people.
00:09:31.420 It just happens to be New York City.
00:09:34.380 That is this this swamp just as bad as D.C., where they are just absolutely have so many people have this absolute hatred of Donald Trump.
00:09:43.480 And so between Washington, D.C. and New York, you have these prosecutors and you have these judges.
00:09:48.680 And it's so sad to see judges be a part of this that are not it's not good enough for them to have their voices heard at the ballot box.
00:09:58.480 They want to use their judicial positions, their prosecutor positions to try to affect the 2024 election and to try to take out Donald Trump and try to get Joe Biden reelected.
00:10:10.260 That's scary.
00:10:11.120 It is. It is. It is worrisome, to say the least.
00:10:15.680 What is equally worrisome is that there is no countervailing influence against such political corruption and the judiciary.
00:10:24.180 And in New York, California, I don't know how many states on either coast actually are engaged in this lawfare through and through.
00:10:36.880 That is, the judge, the prosecutor, the attorneys, the legal system, the associations in every state.
00:10:45.500 I mean, to see what happened to John Eastman in California, what is happening to Donald Trump in not one, not two, but three New York courts almost simultaneously is beyond egregious.
00:11:00.320 It is vicious.
00:11:01.160 It is absolutely vicious, Lou.
00:11:05.280 And it's it's where, you know, the the rule of law in America really does go to die if we don't if we don't protect it.
00:11:11.600 And it's and, you know, one thing that I think you said that's so important is there's not a countervailing force here.
00:11:17.800 Unfortunately, the other side feels free to play these games and to use their power, this power of lawfare to try to destroy Donald Trump,
00:11:27.860 because they know that Republicans would never do the same thing at the shoe or on the other foot.
00:11:33.840 Right now, there's been unilateral disarmament.
00:11:35.920 And it's it's one of the most dangerous things out there because that every time Republicans seem to get control.
00:11:42.740 And we see this in Congress.
00:11:44.000 They decide that they're going to play nice when the when the Democrats and the left never do.
00:11:49.720 And so, you know, one of the things that's going to be critically important going forward is accountability.
00:11:56.520 I I truly, truly believe that these judges, these prosecutors are violating the law.
00:12:04.320 They are they are compromising civil rights under color of law.
00:12:08.260 That is a federal offense.
00:12:10.760 And if we are to put a stop to this once and for all, the only way to do that is for there to be accountability.
00:12:17.620 The next time that, you know, when Donald Trump is in the White House, we need to have a Department of Justice that actually goes after these these people for their lawfare.
00:12:27.040 We need accountability.
00:12:28.900 No question about it.
00:12:30.340 And this, by the way, is it resonates of something that in the 2016 election, lock her up became a chant across all of the rallies.
00:12:41.940 And you could see President Trump flinch.
00:12:45.260 He did not.
00:12:46.320 That did not suit him to to even think about prosecuting her.
00:12:51.280 And he declined to prosecute her, even though it was very clear she had committed a number of felonies and acts against the interests of the United States.
00:13:00.340 He chose to be classy, to be forgiving.
00:13:04.100 And and here is what it's earned him.
00:13:07.960 And if that if the Republican Party and the and and the Trump organization has not learned that lesson, because it is a responsibility, I believe, of this president, Donald J.
00:13:20.840 Trump, to make certain that there is the accountability that you are describing at this moment.
00:13:26.660 But we're we're talking with Jesse Benal.
00:13:29.500 He is one of President Trump's leading attorneys, a great American.
00:13:33.620 And we're coming right back.
00:13:35.320 Please stay with us.
00:13:38.280 Folks, you know, I beg everyone to get ready for the next crisis.
00:13:41.720 And when it comes, our lives will likely change overnight, whether it's natural disaster, war or another disease.
00:13:49.340 We have to be ready as we can be.
00:13:51.240 We saw what happened in 2020 when we found ourselves dependent on global supply chains.
00:13:56.440 We're still dependent on China and other countries for more than 90 percent of all our pharmaceuticals.
00:14:01.860 With clusters of respiratory illnesses popping up around the world and here, we need to be prepared.
00:14:07.940 And now is the time to make certain you have what your family needs when the next crisis hits.

00:15:09.860 Be ready tomorrow.
00:15:13.320 We're back and we're talking with Jesse Banal.
00:15:16.360 And Jesse, I just have to let's turn to what is going on at this very moment in New York.
00:15:22.760 And that is the the outrageous prosecution of Donald Trump.
00:15:29.080 He's spent a week in this in New York City.
00:15:32.960 He's got more weeks to go, it looks like.
00:15:37.780 And and your thoughts about why this case is as was ever six.
00:15:44.860 How did it successfully come about for the for the Marxist left who actually mean it to to be a pure election interference?
00:15:54.340 Joe Biden made it happen.
00:15:56.280 And specifically what happened is they took the number three prosecutor at the Department of Justice, the most, you know, big and powerful law firm in the world.
00:16:07.700 And they moved him to a county district attorney's office.
00:16:11.620 You know, the big county, Manhattan, but it's certainly a step down from the Department of Justice being the number three at the Department of Justice.
00:16:21.520 He was moved to go after and get Donald Trump using this preposterous legal theory that was completely devoid not only of a legal basis, but it had no factual basis either.
00:16:37.720 It's based primarily on the word of Michael Cohen, you know, not exactly the most credible man in the world.
00:16:42.960 And so they take and they move over this prosecutor from Biden's Justice Department to the New York District Attorney's office and they bring this case.
00:16:54.220 And lo and behold, it gets transferred to a Trump hating judge, somebody who is donated to Joe Biden.
00:17:01.520 And of course, he was going to schedule it to have maximum political impact, to try to take Donald Trump off the campaign trail.
00:17:10.040 So regardless of what happened at trial, he would be able to do everything he could to hurt Donald Trump when he was running for election as president of the United States.
00:17:19.300 And let me just say that I have never seen before a judge make political donations while on the bench.
00:17:28.000 It's something that is just it is unheard of.
00:17:33.160 And this judge, not only has he made political donations, not only has he donated to Joe Biden, but when he was called out for it, he refused to recuse himself.
00:17:43.300 This is exactly why we have recusal rules.
00:17:45.520 This is the clearest example of why recusal is warranted of any case I've ever seen in my life.
00:17:52.800 And not only is he conflicted himself because of this, but his daughter is making money on this case, an immediate family member.
00:18:03.480 This is something this would be a bad movie.
00:18:05.420 This would be a bad movie that wouldn't be believable if it was in Hollywood just because it's so preposterous to think that it would it would happen this way.
00:18:12.880 And again, the American people know that what is happening in New York is not justice.
00:18:19.560 This judge is not dispensing justice from the bench.
00:18:22.840 He's using his courtroom for politics and it's disgusting.
00:18:26.720 It is disgusting and it is so over the top.
00:18:29.840 It is so the hype, the hyperbolic partisanship of the Marxist Dems in New York, as you said, it's the it's the feeding ground for all of this because it is so corrupt politically.
00:18:46.280 It is so corrupt in so many ways.
00:18:48.820 That is Manhattan, New York, go to Fulton County, Georgia.
00:18:54.800 I mean, it's rancid with corruption at some point.
00:18:59.840 And then we I don't want to let the federal judiciary out here.
00:19:04.480 I mean, D.C. is appalling.
00:19:07.280 It could be this is not the the the nation's capital.
00:19:12.320 This could not be the nation's capital of the greatest constitutional republic in history.
00:19:17.660 It is a cesspool of corruption and political an attempt at political assassination.
00:19:27.100 Yeah, Lou, that's exactly what's going on.
00:19:30.200 And let's talk about why Washington, D.C. is like this.
00:19:33.940 Washington, D.C. was supposed to be a town where people came from across America for a small amount of times to be able to represent the people in those in those various states.
00:19:44.940 You know, from from from Florida to New York to Wisconsin.
00:19:50.780 And that's what D.C. was supposed to be.
00:19:53.380 But instead, this permanent bureaucracy developed and this permanent bureaucracy that makes up 95 percent plus of the federal workforce is now what controls Washington, D.C.
00:20:04.860 And when Donald Trump became the first president in ages to push back on the power of the bureaucrats, they decided they were going to have their their revenge on him.
00:20:14.680 And so when you have these cases that are brought by D.C. prosecutors like Jack Smith in a D.C. courtroom with a with a D.C. judge who has made it very clear how much she hates Donald Trump, then you you know what the result is going to be.
00:20:32.820 There's no doubt about what the result is going to be and that these people do everything they possibly can to use again, use their judicial power to take down Donald Trump.
00:20:44.740 And that's why we need serious reforms in our judicial system in order to make sure this can never happen again.
00:20:49.640 It cannot be Washington, D.C. bureaucrats and people that come up in that bureaucracy, including Tanya Chutkin, who decide they're going to dictate the law to the American people.
00:21:01.020 It has to be back to our constitutional roots where America decides what Washington, D.C. is going to do.
00:21:09.000 It's not Washington, D.C. deciding what America is going to do.
00:21:12.160 Tanya Chutkin, the federal judge in the Trump case, it seems to me backed off a bit because the Supreme Court is going to be ruling the appellate court.
00:21:24.240 The appellate courts are going to be ruling.
00:21:26.600 And while I'm not hopeful, I'm not optimistic, I do reserve the possibility that conscience could strike on any one of those courts.
00:21:39.860 I don't know what the odds of that are, but definitely there is a reason to at least accept that there is a probability, a possibility that somehow there will be a restoration of ethics.
00:21:55.380 And we're talking with Jesse Banal, the president's attorney, and we're going to be right back after these words.
00:22:02.760 We're going to find out what's it going to take to straighten out this legal system because it's no small, small measure required.
00:22:11.000 We'll be right back.
00:22:12.120 Stay with us.
00:22:14.380 Lou Dobbs here.
00:22:15.780 I'm delighted to let you all know that the program Lou Dobbs Tonight has returned to the air.
00:22:21.300 That's right.
00:22:22.900 Lou Dobbs Tonight is back.
00:22:25.580 We're live each and every weeknight at 7 p.m. Eastern and 6 p.m. Central on Rumble.com slash Lou Dobbs.
00:22:34.900 That's Rumble.com slash Lou Dobbs.
00:22:38.340 I hope you'll be joining us for Lou Dobbs Tonight as our fight to save this country has only begun.
00:22:45.320 We're back.
00:22:51.560 We're talking with Jesse Banal and Jesse, the president's attorney.
00:22:55.440 And I want to just, there's one thing that just really just makes me furious because, as you might guess, I'm kind of interested in the public's right to know.
00:23:03.080 I'm interested in free speech mightily.
00:23:05.240 And for this judge, Merchant, to apply a gag order here, as sweeping particularly as he did, why do these creeps think that they have to have a gag order?
00:23:20.980 What makes them think that they're so above the rest of us that they need special protection from a former president of the United States, the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party for president, the leading candidate for president?
00:23:39.880 Who do they think they are?
00:23:42.100 Who do they think they are?
00:23:43.640 That's exactly right, because the founders looked at these gag orders specifically when they drafted the First Amendment.
00:23:50.100 This is one of the things the founders were particularly concerned about is something called prior restraints on speech, an injunction against you being able to say what's on your mind, especially when it came to matters of policy and politics.
00:24:02.400 And that's why they gave us the First Amendment is to protect us against that.
00:24:05.920 And the Supreme Court has recognized that before.
00:24:08.000 The Supreme Court has even said that The Washington Post and The New York Times couldn't be prohibited by the government from publishing classified information during a war because it would be a prior restraint on speech.
00:24:21.620 But there are a lot of these judges that believe that there's a Trump exception to the rule of law.
00:24:27.640 There's a Trump exception to the Constitution.
00:24:29.920 And what they know and why this is so important to them is because they they know that Donald Trump has been calling them out, calling out their hypocrisy, calling out their partisan bias.
00:24:41.460 And they want to do everything they can to put a muzzle on him because they know that the American people are sick of this and they want to try to stop this information from getting to the American people.
00:24:52.400 And that's you know, there's a famous quote that, you know, violations of freedom of speech are a double sin because it affects not only the rights of the speaker.
00:25:01.180 It is it affects the rights of the listener.
00:25:03.460 It affects the rights of people to get information.
00:25:06.160 And that's why it's so these gag orders are so incredibly dangerous, Lib.
00:25:10.340 Well, for example, right now, I'm we've got Elon Musk parading around talking about freedom of speech.
00:25:19.440 It's a joke.
00:25:21.040 What he is running is a operation in that platform now that is starting to approach levels of prior restraint that are unimaginable.
00:25:31.380 Until we saw the people, you know, Twitter suddenly align itself with the FBI, the Department of Justice and the intelligence agencies.
00:25:40.820 And I don't know whether or not Elon Musk has done gone that far.
00:25:44.360 But I can tell you this.
00:25:45.600 He is shadow banning me and he's shadow banning me because I have a particular point of view that is, well, a little different than his.
00:25:53.700 For example, he wants he wanted Tick Tock to be as a matter of free speech to be given free reign in the United States.
00:26:03.240 This is a foreign owned company.
00:26:06.220 And by the way, it has responsibilities to the CCP, to the PLA.
00:26:12.260 And is is the last I heard Xi Jinping still wanted to go to war with the United States somewhere between 2025 and 2027.
00:26:20.620 And he said it publicly. I mean, this is madness that we're watching.
00:26:25.620 It is, Lou. And as we see more and more attacks on freedom of speech right now, and that includes freedom of speech.
00:26:33.680 When you have these the social media organizations that have a near monopoly on the ability to get your message out.
00:26:42.940 And they're able to take either directly shutting people out or like you like you're saying, shadow banning.
00:26:48.220 This is something that I think is very, very concerning and something that we really need to push back on as Americans.
00:26:54.720 Because and I mean, luckily, there's platforms out there like Truth Social, which I think are excellent that that don't do that.
00:27:04.900 And so one of the things we can do as Americans right now, I think, is to spend more time on on some of those platforms as well.
00:27:13.500 But it's there's got to be accountability for anybody that tries to shut up Americans, especially when you're doing it to the benefit of a foreign power without question.
00:27:22.200 And as we as we as we look at the situation that we now have in this country, you talked about the pervasive and I did as well, the pervasive corrupt corruption of our judicial system, our legal profession, the the American banker, American banker, the American bar association will not not step up.
00:27:44.820 But where they do step up, they mean to destroy free speech and the right to free expression and representation of anyone.
00:27:51.620 I mean, I've never seen I've actually experienced this major big law, as they're called major firms, the most prestigious firms in the country, absolutely carrying out a ban against anyone that was pro Trump, because that's not good for their their their their corporate and globalist clientele.
00:28:12.780 Well, it's it's it is remarkable to me the degree to which we have descended in terms of legal rights.
00:28:22.600 Yeah, that's exactly right. And this lack of access, access to justice, if you are a Trump supporting American, is something that's very, very dangerous.
00:28:30.920 It's something that when when lawyers in this country have stopped being willing to represent people because of their political beliefs, it's something that is extremely dangerous.
00:28:41.740 Now, it's something that I, quite frankly, have taken advantage of because the fact that these big law firms are refusing to represent good Americans, you know, made it so I could I could go out and get some of the best legal talent in the world.
00:28:53.900 And and we've been able to go and represent some people and get some great results.
00:28:59.720 But the fact is, we can't do it all on our own. And we need to get back to, you know, something along the lines of what happens in the UK.
00:29:07.760 And it's sad to say that the UK is better than we are, but they have something called the cab.
00:29:13.040 I know. Right. They have speaking of a place where there's no free speech.
00:29:18.580 Right. Right. But on this on legal access, they're better because they have something called the cab rank rule and they don't actually turn people away because of, for instance, their political positions.
00:29:29.760 They believe everyone is entitled to legal representation. And that's critically important for our for our constitutional republic to flourish.
00:29:39.320 And I, you know, I'm somewhat older than you, but I think even as as young as you are, you will recall the days in which the the progressive left, as they call them, they're Marxists now.
00:29:53.580 Yeah, they they prided themselves on their tolerance. They call for greater tolerance in our society and they have become the scorched earth party.
00:30:04.440 And they mean to devastate anyone who dares to speak up with values and views different than their own.
00:30:11.320 And that is a sad, sad place. I have to tell you, Jesse, we're delighted that you're representing the president.
00:30:17.500 We wish you a continued great success as you do so and and beyond and hope you'll come back here soon to talk.
00:30:26.200 Appreciate it. I can't wait to join you again.
