The Great America Show - Mid-Day Update： April 25th, 2024

Today's guest on The Great America Show is a leading warrior against the Marxist campaign to spread critical race theory in public schools, our colleges and universities, and government, whether federal, state, or local, and corporate media as well.

00:00:00.000 I'm Lou Dobbs with The Great America Show midday update for Thursday, April 25th.

00:00:05.440 Not great news on the economy today.

00:00:08.480 Growth slowing to 1.6% in the first quarter.

00:00:12.200 That's less than half the GDP growth rate in the final quarter of last year, 3.4%.

00:00:18.400 And there's no good news in the report on inflation.

00:00:21.900 Despite a slowdown in consumer spending, inflation rose 3.4% in the first quarter,

00:00:28.100 almost double the fourth quarter inflation rate of 1.8%.

00:00:33.240 If this acceleration in inflation were to continue along with sluggish economic growth,

00:00:40.020 we would be under threat of real stagflation.

00:00:44.300 Harvard has joined Columbia, NYU, Texas, USC, other universities all across the country

00:00:50.160 with student encampments and anti-Semitic, anti-Israeli protests and demonstrations.

00:00:56.380 As Benjamin Netanyahu has said,

00:00:59.600 America's college campuses now are looking a lot like Germany in the 1930s. 0.57

00:01:05.620 And the impaired puppet Biden says and does absolutely nothing. 0.74

00:01:11.380 The outrageous Biden charade, in my opinion, is coming to an end.

00:01:16.340 The Supreme Court is hearing arguments today on whether President Trump

00:01:20.480 is immune to prosecution and special counsel Jack Smith's persecution of President Trump.

00:01:27.140 While the court hears those immunity issues, President Trump himself is on trial in New York

00:01:33.720 in a New York courtroom, charges brought by a Soros-sponsored district attorney

00:01:39.260 who blatantly lied throughout his opening arguments.

00:01:43.500 A judge who is a Marxist Dem activist, if ever there were one,

00:01:48.500 and whose family makes millions of dollars raising money for the Marxist Dems,

00:01:53.380 well, that looks a little corrupt.

00:01:55.660 And there is no crime.

00:01:57.580 If the Supreme Court doesn't give President Trump immunity

00:02:00.980 while watching these corrupt Marxist prosecutors and courts 0.85

00:02:04.900 interfering in the presidential election and trying to destroy Donald Trump

00:02:09.560 with their abuse of power, well, there is then no hope for our constitutional republic.

00:02:16.060 This week in history, Democrats held their first national KKK convention in Nashville, Tennessee. 0.58

00:02:23.800 After President Lincoln freed the slaves, the Democrat Party passed Jim Crow laws,

00:02:29.800 discriminated against blacks for decades into the 20th century.

00:02:33.480 And indeed, the KKK was then what BLM, Antifa, and Lawfare are today for the Democrat Party.

00:02:43.640 Our guest on The Great America Show today is a leading warrior against the Marxist campaign

00:02:48.580 to spread critical race theory and DEI throughout our public schools,

00:02:53.800 our colleges and universities, and government, whether federal, state, or local,

00:02:58.280 and, of course, corporate media as well.

00:03:00.620 Our guest is Kimberly Herman, general counsel of the Southeastern Legal Foundation,

00:03:06.580 leading a major court case in Chicago against DEI and CRT.

00:03:13.460 By the way, Chicago is the hotbed of critical race theory in this country.

00:03:17.740 Please join us for that.

00:03:19.420 Thanks, and have a great day.

00:03:21.520 This is Lou Dobbs with The Great America Update.
