Special Counsel Jack Smith has asked the Supreme Court to rule on whether President Donald Trump is immune from federal prosecution for alleged crimes committed while he was president. Harvard has decided that President Claudine Gay will remain as president, despite all of her controversies. Speaker Mike Johnson is at it again as he withdraws two bills intended to reform Section 702 of the FISA surveillance Act, and the effect is to reauthorize FISA without any reform by including a short-term extension of FISA within the National Defense Authorization Act. 00:00:05.380 Special Counsel Jack Smith has asked the Supreme Court to rule
00:00:08.980 on whether President Donald Trump is immune from federal prosecution
00:00:13.260 for alleged crimes committed while he was president.
00:00:16.940 In what appears to be an effort to speed the case along,
00:00:19.960 Smith went directly to the Supreme Court for a ruling on the issue
00:00:23.400 rather than go to the appellate court for a ruling that would bear on the Special Counsel's
00:00:28.800 for count indictment of President Trump.
00:00:31.040 And it looks like an effort to get a ruling that would keep the trial date at March 4th,
00:00:36.440 which is the day before the Super Tuesday primaries.
00:00:40.680 That is not a coincidence, folks, and it is without question
00:00:44.520 Smith's plan to interfere in the presidential election.
