00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Wednesday, February 5th.
00:00:05.860 Some of America's biggest cities are about to lose millions in federal funding if they do not cooperate with President Trump's administration to hand over illegal aliens. 0.94
00:00:15.420 Fox News is reporting on Wednesday that Attorney General Pam Bondi, Attorney General Pam Bondi as of last night, has ordered the DOJ to stop all federal funding for sanctuary cities.
00:00:25.240 Among some of the places that have the biggest sanctuary cities, New York City, L.A., and Chicago.
00:00:31.840 These places have broken federal laws for years without repercussions from the Republicans and the Democrat administrations.
00:00:37.700 The harboring of these illegals has severely hampered immigration officials' ability to ensure public safety while criminal aliens terrorize ordinary Americans. 0.92
00:00:46.160 This is only the latest from the Trump administration on promises made, promises kept,
00:00:52.140 Pam Bondi, like I said, being sworn in last night as the next Attorney General of the United States.
00:00:58.400 And Elon Musk, another American hard at work, Elon Musk is warning media outlets they will see a drop in revenue after Trump has closed down USAID, the Democrats' money laundering slush fund scheme.
00:01:09.980 On Tuesday, it was first reported that staff at the far-left magazine Politico did not get paid for the latest pay period.
00:01:16.620 Politico sent out emails claiming that it believes there was a, quote, technical error, saying,
00:01:21.840 Due to what we believe to be a technical error, employees did not receive their paycheck as scheduled.
00:01:27.220 Hmm.
00:01:28.040 This only comes after it's been revealed that USAID paid Politico nearly $8 million.
00:01:34.940 For what, though?
00:01:36.060 For what, you may ask?
00:01:37.380 It's a question we're all trying to get the answers to.
00:01:40.240 We hope to get those answers sometime in the near future.
00:01:44.160 And the DOJ won't hire FBI agents who simply followed orders in the January 6th cases.
00:01:51.480 Acting Deputy Attorney General E. Mel Bove says in a memo that FBI agents who, quote,
00:01:55.920 simply followed orders in the January 6th cases will not be fired.
00:02:00.660 President Trump fired David Sundberg, the top official in the FBI Washington office,
00:02:05.460 after nearly 90 other FBI officials left last Friday.
00:02:09.020 Another FBI purge is imminent as Trump admin prepares to fire FBI officials involved with those January 6th cases.
00:02:16.980 E. Mel Bove said any of those FBI agents who were just following orders from their henchmen,
00:02:22.820 their puppet masters, will be allowed to stay at their jobs as of right now, for the time being.
00:02:29.140 And Senator Froghorn Leghorn, Mitch McConnell, has taken another fall on Capitol Hill.
00:02:36.260 McConnell, who is 82 years old, has a weak left leg after suffering from polio as a child.
00:02:40.840 He fell in a room and landed on his side, was carrying a plate of food,
00:02:44.080 and may have a bruised face, this according to Punchbowl News.
00:02:47.980 McConnell was spotted later in the day in a wheelchair after falling down multiple times on Wednesday.
00:02:53.600 Mitch McConnell is not really fit to be a senator.
00:02:56.640 I think it's time for McConnell to head off into the sunset and go enjoy some retirement.
00:03:02.320 He's long overstayed his due, and we've got to stop allowing Congress to be a nursing home 0.65
00:03:08.060 for some of these folks who just don't want to leave.
00:03:10.840 And it's unclear why they don't want to leave.
00:03:13.800 You know, you've done your time, you're 80 years old,
00:03:16.080 go off and enjoy, you know, the next few years of your life that you have remaining,
00:03:19.720 and go off into the sunset.
00:03:21.600 But it seems there's a deeper theory to it.
00:03:24.840 And the FCC, the latest organization to get to the ground running and hit the ground running,
00:03:29.780 I should say, and get into work, the FCC has launched an investigation into radio stations
00:03:34.160 backed by leftist billionaire George Soros for broadcasting live locations of undercover ICE agents.
00:03:41.080 Breitbart is reporting that a group backed by Hungarian-born Soros purchased over 200 Odyssey radio stations
00:03:46.520 and even took foreign investments to make his bid.
00:03:49.140 The radio stations cover over 40 media markets in the United States,
00:03:53.560 giving the leftist billionaire unprecedented control over the communications.
00:03:57.800 According to Fox News, one of those stations, KCBS 740 AM in San Francisco,
00:04:02.580 has come under scrutiny from the FCC after, quote,
00:04:04.920 revealing live locations of undercover ICE agent vehicles and agents
00:04:09.000 that were conducting deportation operations in the San Jose area.
00:04:13.000 Quote, the FCC's Enforcement Bureau has already spent a formal letter inquiry to the radio station
00:04:18.360 as part of the FCC investigation.
00:04:21.360 Good on Brendan Carr getting to work and trying to stop that oligarch in George Soros.
00:04:27.260 Folks, please be sure to join us for today's episode of The Great America Show.
00:04:30.140 We're joined by leading pollster Rasmussen, head pollster Mark Mitchell.
00:04:34.300 We take up the latest on what's going on in this country
00:04:36.400 and how America thinks Donald Trump is doing so far as President of the United States.
00:04:41.840 Folks, please be sure to join us for that today, only on The Great America Show.
00:04:45.160 I'm John Fossett with this midday update.
00:04:47.100 Have a great day, everybody.
