00:00:06.240 President Trump's cabinet nominees back in the Senate today for their respective hearings.
00:00:11.120 On today's slate was Doug Bergram, who's his nominee for the Interior,
00:00:14.960 Scott Turner for Housing and Urban Development, Lee Zeldin over at the EPA,
00:00:20.520 Pam Bondi, rather, was back in for Day 2 with the Senate Judiciary Committee,
00:00:25.320 and Scott Besant for the Treasury Department, which brings us to our person of the day.
00:00:31.820 With Scott Besant taking Senator Ron Wyden to task, the Marxist dem from Oregon,
00:00:37.980 doesn't really know much about anything, let alone tariffs.
00:00:41.080 Take a listen to this exchange between Scott Besant and Ron Wyden on the issue of Trump's tariffs.
00:00:46.980 I believe these tariffs, you can call it whatever you want in terms of trying to gussy it up,
00:00:53.040 they're going to be paid for by our workers and small businesses.
00:00:57.560 And all through the campaign we heard they weren't, that foreign countries were going to pay it.

00:02:14.440 has named a trio of entertainment industry veterans, John Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone,

00:02:28.480 It's my honor to announce John Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone
00:02:31.940 to be special ambassadors to the great but very troubled place of Hollywood, California.
00:02:36.340 They will serve as special envoys for me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood,
00:02:40.720 which has lost much business over the last four years, to foreign countries.

00:03:27.360 Governor Ron DeSantis has tapped Ashley Moody to be the next senator from the great state of Florida.
00:03:34.540 Ashley Moody currently serves as the Florida Attorney General.
00:03:38.360 It's going to be interesting to see if she's America first or not.
00:03:42.460 Moody, after President Trump's second failed assassination attempt at his golf course,
00:03:47.500 had said she was running her own investigation into what happened there,
