This afternoon, folks, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld a law forcing China-owned ByteDance

to divest from TikTok, buy Sunday, or face a ban from the U.S. app stores.

President Trump has previously asked the U.S. Supreme Court to pause the ban

so his administration can be given the opportunity to pursue a political resolution to the questions at issue in the case.

TikTok previously filed a petition with the Supreme Court
