00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fossett with this Great America Show midday update for Thursday, November 6th.
00:00:04.540 Happy Thursday, folks. Federal prosecutors in South Florida are reportedly preparing grand jury subpoenas as part of an investigation into former CIA director John Brennan.
00:00:15.700 In July, it was reported that former FBI director James Comey and John Brenner were under FBI investigation over their involvement in the Russiagate collusion hoax.
00:00:24.800 CIA director John Ratcliffe referred Brennan and Comey for prosecution over the summer.
00:00:30.000 The U.S. attorney in the Southern District of Florida, Jason Quinoas, is in charge of the investigation.
00:00:36.520 Fox News is reporting that Justice Department officials in Miami and Washington, D.C. are actively working together to issue several grand jury subpoenas relating to their investigation into both Brennan and possibly into Comey.
00:00:50.140 Fox News reached out to the Justice Department, but sources there declined to comment, which means it's probably an ongoing investigation.
00:00:56.800 Now, John Brennan was separately referred for criminal prosecution by House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan.
00:01:03.500 Chairman Jordan referred Brennan to the DOJ for knowingly making false statements during a May 2023 interview with the House Judiciary Committee.
00:01:11.860 We'll keep you posted here on the Great America Show, folks.
00:01:14.040 We're going to do a deeper dive tonight at 6 p.m. for the Great America Show,
00:01:16.700 just about what's happening and when we can expect this thing to possibly go on.
00:01:22.380 Some news, some interesting news out of the Jeffrey Epstein case.
00:01:27.280 Maureen Comey, who you folks know, was fired from the Southern District of New York, 1.00
00:01:31.500 reportedly, her and her cronies reportedly offered to free Jeffrey Epstein if he implicated President Trump in his crimes,
00:01:38.840 according to Jeffrey Epstein's once cellmate.
00:01:41.700 Wait, isn't that interesting, folks?
00:01:44.560 After Epstein's arrest on child sex trafficking charges in July of 2019,
00:01:49.060 Epstein was transferred to the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.
00:01:52.520 It was in that facility that Epstein shared a cell with ex-cop Nicolas Tartaglione,
00:01:57.040 who was awaiting trial before being convicted on a quadruple murder charge.
00:02:01.540 Tartaglione, who's 57, now claims that Epstein, who died a month after being arrested,
00:02:05.680 told him that prosecutors had offered to cut a deal if he'd snitch on President Trump,
00:02:11.100 who was then in his first term.
00:02:13.340 Prosecutors told Epstein that if he said President Trump was involved in Epstein's crimes,
00:02:17.580 he would walk free in a petition to be pardoned, according to Tartaglione.
00:02:23.400 Now, that's a little bit crazy.
00:02:25.820 He says that Epstein told him specifically that Maureen Comey said that he didn't have to prove anything
00:02:31.780 as long as President Trump's people could not disprove it.
00:02:36.280 According to Maureen Comey, the FBI were her people, not his.
00:02:41.220 And this is according to Epstein's former cellmate.
00:02:44.680 Sort of interesting, but not surprising, folks.
00:02:48.740 Not surprising, to say the least.
00:02:50.940 Some sad news out of the House of Representatives.
00:02:53.700 The GOP will not have former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to kick around anymore.
00:02:58.740 But that's not stopping President Trump from getting in the last word.
00:03:03.160 As expected, Pelosi announced this morning that she would retire from Congress,
00:03:06.640 not be seeking re-election in 2026.
00:03:09.960 Pelosi, in a statement, says that she has truly loved serving as your voice in Congress
00:03:14.060 and has always been honored that the song of St. Francis,
00:03:18.560 quote, Lord, make an instrument of thy peace, the anthem of our city.
00:03:22.660 That is what I want you, my fellow San Franciscans, to be known.
00:03:26.400 I will not be seeking re-election to Congress.
00:03:30.680 President Trump, leaving no room for your imagination,
00:03:35.540 telling Fox News' Peter Doocy,
00:03:38.140 quote,
00:03:38.680 The retirement of Nancy Pelosi is a great thing for America. 0.77
00:03:42.700 She was evil, corrupt, and only focused on bad things for our country. 1.00
00:03:46.300 She's rapidly losing control of her party, and it was never coming back. 0.97
00:03:50.040 I'm very honored she impeached me twice and failed miserably twice.
00:03:53.720 Next, Nancy Pelosi is a highly overrated politician. 1.00
00:03:57.640 President Trump never really leaving much to the imagination,
00:04:01.120 just leaving it all out there and being honest about it all.
00:04:05.280 It's unclear what Nancy Pelosi's next moves are,
00:04:07.700 as she's become a multi-multi-millionaire,
00:04:11.460 while in Congress on her great stock trading moves,
00:04:15.700 unapparent how she was able to manage all those and become so brilliant,
00:04:19.760 but I guess Nancy made enough money. 1.00
00:04:22.840 In truth, justice in the American way not happening in D.C. today,
00:04:26.100 the former DOJ lawyer who was on trial for throwing a sandwich at a federal agent over the summer
00:04:30.780 was now not guilty by a D.C. jury.
00:04:34.980 The man in a salmon-colored t-shirt was caught on video throwing a sandwich
00:04:38.220 at a federal officer in D.C. over the summer
00:04:40.340 after President Trump deployed the National Guard to patrol the streets.
00:04:44.040 The sandwich thrower was identified as 37-year-old Sean Charles Dunn,
00:04:48.340 who happened to be a DOJ trial attorney.
00:04:51.520 A D.C. grand jury previously refused to indict Dunn on felony charges,
00:04:55.600 so the DOJ downgraded his charges to a misdemeanor and went to trial.
00:05:00.000 Of course, this afternoon, that grand jury found him not guilty.
00:05:04.660 What a joke.
00:05:05.880 Dunn's defense attorney told the jurors that his client threw the sandwich as a harmless gesture.
00:05:10.720 That's what you get out of D.C., folks,
00:05:13.200 and that's why no indictments will be brought in D.C. for any serious charges.
