00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Friday,
00:00:04.340 October 11th. Well, we're just under 30 days until the 2024 election, the most consequential
00:00:09.980 election this nation will see in our lifetime. And some Democrats are saying they won't commit
00:00:15.500 to certifying a Trump victory. You heard that correct. The Democrats election deniers. Top
00:00:22.800 congressional Democrats told Axios on Thursday they would not commit to certifying the 2024
00:00:27.340 election if former President Donald Trump wins. The failure to commit to certifying the election
00:00:33.060 would prove many members to be hypocrites, including House Oversight Committee ranking
00:00:37.500 member and former January 6th committee member Jamie Raskin. Raskin telling Axios this week he's
00:00:44.220 unsure if he'll certify a Trump win. Raskin, of course, denied Trump won in 2016 when he objected
00:00:49.960 to Trump's electors in 2017. If Trump, quote, won a free, fair and honest election, then we would
00:00:56.880 obviously accept it, Raskin said, assuming the election was free, fair and honest. Quote, I
00:01:01.720 definitely don't assume that, end quote, he added. Quote, Democrats don't engage in election fraud and
00:01:07.540 election fabrication, end quote. Folks, you can't make this stuff up. These are direct quotes, as I
00:01:13.240 just told you, from Jamie Raskin, the man who sat on the January 6th committee and went after
00:01:19.220 Republicans, went after President Trump and all his folks for challenging what was a rigged election
00:01:24.160 that was stolen by the Democrats. And you can list your ways they stole it, whether it be the
00:01:28.640 manipulation of mail-in ballots, the changing of election laws, or using COVID to just do whatever
00:01:33.660 the hell they wanted. Speaking of election interference, more election interference is
00:01:38.580 on the horizon out of the D.C. District Court. Judge Tanya Chutkin agreed to unseal special counsel
00:01:45.000 Jack Smith's evidence attached to a 165-page opening brief, which was already used to attack
00:01:51.060 President Trump. This is, of course, the dirty, junkyard jackal Jack Smith's dirty October 0.97
00:01:56.900 surprise. Trump's lawyers earlier Thursday asked Judge Tanya Chutkin to keep Jack Smith's
00:02:01.940 evidence appendix from the public view while we have an election just under 30 days away.
00:02:07.120 President Trump's lawyers argued in a two-page filing that Jack Smith was trying to interfere
00:02:11.260 with the election by publicly docketing more evidence in the January 6th case. Trump's team
00:02:16.760 writing, quote, there should be no further disclosures at this time because the so-called
00:02:20.480 evidence that the special counsel's office has unlawfully cherry-picked and mischaracterized
00:02:25.660 during early voting in the 2024 election in connection with improper presidential immunity
00:02:30.980 filing has no basis in a criminal proceeding or judicial precedent. Judge Tanya Chutkin immediately 0.93
00:02:37.280 denied Trump's request on Thursday afternoon and agreed to, of course, unseal Jack Smith's
00:02:42.320 evidence. Election interference in the flesh. Folks, be sure to join us for today's episode
00:02:48.620 of The Great America Show. We're joined by climate expert and founder of ClimateDepot.com,
00:02:54.680 Mark Morano. We talk about the Dems never letting a crisis go to waste using Hurricane Milton and
00:03:01.080 Helene to try to push their climate agenda and get more power than they've ever had before. 0.97
00:03:06.880 Be sure to join us for that on The Great America Show today. I'm John Fossett with this
00:03:10.900 midday update. Have a great day, folks.
