00:05:09.440 Congressman James Comer is the chairman of the House Oversight Committee. Comer and his

00:05:14.820 committee this week further laying out for the media and the public their findings to this point

00:05:20.300 in their investigation of corrupt Joe Biden and his family. The findings and the evidence are

00:05:26.560 shocking in their implication. Our guest today is the man leading that investigation, Chairman James

00:05:43.360 evidence that you have. You have to be pleased with the pace of your investigation.

00:05:48.380 I think the pace is going very well. If you consider what we've been able to produce

00:05:54.100 in the first hundred days of having subpoena power compared to congressional investigations in the past,

00:06:00.720 I don't think anyone in the media thought we would ever get bank records or thought we would ever be

00:06:05.100 allowed into Treasury to look at those bank violations. But we've done that and we did that within three

00:06:10.500 months. And as a result of having bank records and as a result of having access to those bank

00:06:15.980 violations at Treasury, we discovered five new Biden family members that were in on the influence

00:06:22.860 peddling scheme. We had we've discovered probably a dozen more LLCs that were involved in the money

00:06:29.940 laundering scheme. And we've determined another country that was involved in influence peddling

00:06:35.140 Romania. And we proved that Joe Biden did receive payments while he was serving as vice president

00:06:41.580 of the United States. And that's something that had never been verified before.

00:07:50.000 yesterday, we've subpoenaed four banks and we know of 12 banks that were involved with some of these

00:07:57.700 Biden accounts. So we've got a long way to go. But we wanted to give the American people an update

00:08:02.060 of our progress thus far. Well, and that update is is persuasive. It is sweeping. And I think everyone

00:08:10.740 who is paying attention to what you're doing and what you're achieving is both impressed and grateful.

00:08:26.580 of the Hunter Biden family, the Joe Biden's family, is, for example, your your point that Vice President

00:08:35.220 and Biden met with the Romanian president on and I'm going to just pick this one example on September 28 of

00:08:43.760 2015. And then you point out that within five weeks of that meeting, Bladen Enterprises Limited,

00:08:50.860 another of the LLCs, began making deposits into Robinson Walker LLC's bank account.

00:08:58.880 Bladen Enterprises reported to be the the Romanian felon who was using that business to conduct

00:09:10.660 business in Romania and ship the money into the Biden LLC's. All of this in proximity to the visit

00:09:18.580 with the vice president. This is a significant implication as far as I'm concerned. Your thoughts?

00:09:24.740 Exactly. I mean, this is something that he had an official role, a policy role in during the Obama

00:09:34.040 administration. And lo and behold, his family gets a wire from one of the most corrupt people within

00:09:40.560 the country. All the while Joe Biden's over there talking about public corruption. Wink, wink. Same

00:09:46.040 thing happened in Ukraine. And and, you know, there's a pattern here, Lou. There's a pattern of where

00:09:51.580 during the last year and a half of the Obama administration, Joe Biden started traveling the

00:09:57.840 globe and wanted to be in charge of things like foreign aid and foreign policy in some of our most

00:10:03.480 vulnerable, most corrupt countries on the planet. And lo and behold, well, you know, as soon as he

00:10:09.840 leaves, his family starts profiting from it. We don't know what the family did to earn these massive

00:10:18.780 payments from these foreign nationals. We're asking the Bidens now for information as to what

00:10:26.280 they did to receive this money, because either, you know, Hunter Biden and the president's brother

00:10:32.120 were acting as foreign agents, which that's a felony because they're immediate family members of the 0.97

00:10:37.040 president and they're not registered as foreign agents. Either they were foreign agents or either Joe

00:10:42.620 Biden provided something as vice president of value to these foreign nationals. And that's bribery and

00:10:49.920 everything else. Reason. I mean, you've got a whole list of laws that have been broken there. So we've got

00:10:56.060 a lot of questions. We wanted to present the American people with evidence and we wanted to show the

00:11:00.760 Department of Justice, Lou, that we know exactly what this family's been involved in. So if they were

00:11:07.240 trying to negotiate some type of little plea deal to plead guilty to a little tax evasion or lying on

00:11:14.260 a gun application charge, we wanted the DOJ to know and the American people to know, oh, we know there's

00:11:19.240 more than tax evasion. We know about the money laundering. We know about the racketeering. We know

00:11:27.520 about a lot of things that were involved in the in the schemes of this family.

00:11:35.700 As you put forward that, and indeed, you did halt what seemed to be some gaining momentum

00:11:43.360 for the Justice Department to announce its charges against Joe, against Hunter Biden.

00:11:50.820 It looks to me, at least, it looks like you did stop the DOJ in their tracks and what looked like

00:11:57.260 it was going to be a plea agreement that would have benefited the Bidens and shut down that

00:12:02.620 investigation. By all reports, they were fixing to pull the trigger on a little minor indictment.

00:12:09.600 And, you know, it's going to be a hard pill to swallow for them to do that now when there's

00:12:15.340 evidence out there of money laundering. And that's not in my words, that's in the words of multiple

00:12:21.880 banks. Racketeering, which is what creating shell companies for the sole purpose of laundering

00:12:28.620 money is. That's called racketeering. That's a RICO charge there. And then you've got what

00:12:33.340 Jonathan Turley talks about all the time on Fox News. You've got being an unregistered foreign 1.00

00:12:38.600 agent. That's a felony. That's what the federal government got Michael Flynn on and another

00:12:43.360 person in the in the Trump administration. So, you know, there are plenty of things to indict

00:12:49.340 the president's son on. And I would argue the president's brother on right now, in addition

00:12:54.740 to tax evasion. It does not look good for the Biden family at this point on any level. It doesn't seem

00:13:03.580 to be an exaggeration based on the evidence that you've already produced. It is entirely reasonable

00:13:09.340 to refer to them as a crime family, as you've done several times. But I think, you know, broadly,

00:13:17.640 the national media is not covering this story with either the vigilance or the vigor that I would

00:13:24.720 have expected for what is effectively the most important congressional investigation in ages.

00:13:32.420 And that is an investigation into what appears to be abjectly corruption on the part of the

00:13:39.160 president of the United States. I will admit, Lou, I've been surprised at how bad the mainstream media

00:13:47.000 is. I thought we had something they had to report. I mean, you're talking about the president's

00:13:51.720 grandkid getting a wire. I mean, you're talking about nine family members of the president of the United

00:13:58.980 States that have received money from our adversaries around the world for things that we don't know

00:14:06.360 why, for reasons we don't know why. You know, we think it's because of influence peddling, which is,

00:14:11.520 you know, is illegal because if they were influence peddling, then the adversaries received some type of

00:14:20.000 benefit from that, some type of policy decision, some type of foreign aid, some type of help navigating

00:14:26.040 the federal bureaucracy or something. And either way, it's bad. It's bad. We proved that Joe Biden lied to

00:14:34.140 the American people when he said his family never received any money from China. We proved that the media

00:14:39.880 was wrong when they said that none of those payments ever happened when Joe Biden was in office.

00:14:46.940 They did happen when he was in office. And his family did get money from China, millions of dollars

00:14:51.100 from China. I thought the media had to report that. And you know what the New York Times reported

00:14:56.860 today, Lou? The headline was Comer swung and missed. That's the headline. I mean, it's a joke.

00:15:55.260 difficult it is to get that evidence before the American people as he produces it, because the

00:16:01.580 national left-wing media, the corporatist media, if you will, in many cases, simply refusing to cover

00:16:08.180 the story. Congressman, what will it take for you to get the attention that you deserve for this

00:16:16.340 this important corruption investigation? Well, I'm pleased that C-SPAN covered the press

00:16:23.240 conference. And, you know, there are a lot of people that probably didn't know anything like

00:16:29.080 this has ever happened that watch C-SPAN. Of course, they don't have the audience that the

00:16:33.340 mainstream has or that the two Democrat propaganda cable news stations have. But, you know, we're just

00:16:41.820 going to keep providing more evidence. I mean, there's reporters from CNN, there are reporters

00:16:47.000 from CBS, or, you know, there's a reporter from ABC that acts like they're interested. But for

00:16:52.280 whatever reason, they never really report anything about it. But, you know, I think everyone knows

00:16:57.200 there's something wrong. And, you know, I was talking to Bob Woodward the other day, and we were

00:17:03.680 talking about this investigation. And, you know, he's like, he has seen the media, just, he's watched

00:17:11.840 their demise with respect to investigative journalism. I mean, it's like investigative journalism

00:17:18.460 on the Trump or Republicans, but no investigative journalism with Democrats. It's like they played

00:17:25.000 criminal defense attorney for the Democrats, or they turn a blind eye for the Democrats. And,

00:17:29.580 you know, with what bothers me about the press conference, Lou, is that Adam Schiff would just

00:17:36.780 get up and say things, and the press would run with it. You know, well, we've got this

00:17:39.900 still dossier, and it shows Russia and Trump colluded, which we all know was a complete lie.

00:17:45.820 I produced bank records, which is actual evidence, something the media hasn't seen in a long time

00:17:51.980 from a congressional investigation. And they act like, well, what's this got to do with Joe?

00:17:56.000 I mean, what are you kidding? I mean, what does this have to do with Joe? That's a question that

00:18:00.680 they should be asking Joe Biden. And by the way, speaking of Bob Woodward, the Washington Post

00:18:07.220 was among those that didn't cover the story. It hasn't covered the story. And it's an outrage.

00:18:13.820 And why Jeff Bezos, if he is a owner with any conscience at all, would permit that? It's outrageous.

00:18:20.280 And as the owner, if they're not doing it, it must be at his orders. And that tells us something about

00:18:32.580 further, in my opinion. That is just simply an aside. I have to say that you also have been met

00:18:41.060 with defiance again by the FBI as you go to seek a whistleblower, his information about an FBI file.

00:18:50.420 The good news is they didn't deny the existence of the of the file. But on the other hand,

00:18:56.860 they basically told you and your committee to go to hell again, the FBI telling Congress to go to hell.

00:19:04.100 Yeah, I mean, you're exactly right, Lou. And it's a good thing they didn't tell us that document

00:19:10.400 didn't exist. But at the end of the day, in addition to the document, what we wanted to know,

00:19:16.220 Senator Grassley and I, is what has the FBI done to investigate the validity of the allegation and

00:19:24.900 give us a briefing on what you did to prove whether this allegation was true or false. So, you know,

00:19:34.520 the FBI just basically wouldn't say anything. And their message was, well, just trust us. We'll look

00:19:41.080 into it. Well, they've had this since 2018. I mean, they have had this information for years. Look how long

00:19:49.760 they sat on the laptop. I mean, we produced evidence that shows there's a pattern that's

00:19:55.260 consistent with what this whistleblower alleges Joe Biden did with this foreign national. I mean,

00:20:01.900 what we showed yesterday with Romania alone was very consistent with what the whistleblower claimed.

00:20:09.540 And then the FBI just says, well, don't worry about it. We'll take care of it. I mean,

00:20:13.620 I'm leading an investigation of the president of the United States, a credible investigation.

00:20:17.280 Nobody has said one thing we've produced thus far wasn't true, which you can't lie on bank records.

00:20:23.380 So they're going to have a hard time saying that. And yet the FBI won't give us information that we

00:20:31.240 request. And by the way, it's not classified. The document that we're requesting is not a classified

00:20:37.680 document. There's no reason in the world why the FBI wouldn't work with us on that.

00:20:42.040 Without question. And again, you've been defied by the FBI and one who's followed is one who's

00:20:53.300 followed Christopher Wray's career and the actions of the FBI over the last 20, 20 years in the case

00:20:59.940 of the FBI and Wray's tenure. I didn't expect any other any other response than arrogance and defiance

00:21:08.480 from what is now a deep state harbor for, for truth. I mean, it's where truth goes to die.

00:21:21.500 Well, we're, we're weighing our options. We're not going to give up on the subpoena. If we have to

00:21:27.100 go to court, we'll go to court. We're talking to McCarthy. McCarthy has said that he's going to call

00:21:33.420 Christopher Wray and tell him he needs to provide what I've requested, what I subpoenaed. So we'll see

00:21:41.840 what Kevin McCarthy can do with Christopher Wray. But, you know, it's, it's pretty discouraging

00:21:48.800 to see our own federal government obstruct or even worse, cover up this major investigation. I mean,

00:21:57.640 this is an investigation of public corruption at the highest levels of our government. And you remember

00:22:04.360 the, the, the Watergate scandal, it, it wasn't what the president did as much as it was the cover up,

00:22:11.820 right? That was, that was what got everyone a bit out of shape. But remember the, the Watergate

00:22:16.960 committee didn't, didn't find out all of the wrongdoing in the, in the Watergate. Lou, it was the,

00:22:24.640 it was the media. It was a, you know, investigative journalism. It was Bob Woodward and, and some of

00:22:29.360 those guys. Instead of the media doing, you know, what they used to do with respect to public

00:22:35.940 corruption, they're attacking me for having the audacity to investigate Joe Biden. They're like,

00:22:41.960 well, if you're going to investigate someone, you should investigate Donald Trump. I mean,

00:22:44.640 that's basically what they're saying. Who has been invested? You know, Donald Trump's been

00:22:48.460 investigated for six years. They went all in on Russian collusion and there's, was never

00:22:54.240 announcing evidence of that. We've produced more evidence yesterday than Adam Schiff produced in

00:23:00.680 four years on Donald Trump. And they impeached him twice during that time period. And the media

00:23:06.200 won't cover it. It's, it's just astonishing. It is, it is astonishing. It is disgusting. It is

00:23:12.880 infuriating for all of us who want the truth and respect the public's right to know and know how much

00:23:19.840 effort you and your colleagues on the committee, as well as all of your investigators and staff,

00:23:26.780 the work you're putting into this to bring truth to the American people and corporate America,

00:23:32.960 corporate America, and those corporate owned media organizations are denying that they're arrogantly.

00:23:39.400 And by the way, unsurprisingly defying the public's right to know rather than meeting their obligations

00:23:47.500 to investigate and to, to root out a crime or wherever it is, as you fortunately for all of us

00:23:55.300 are doing with your, your committee. I want to, I want to ask, as we look at this and we watch what's

00:24:02.200 happening with Joe Biden and his family and the payments from Romania, from all of the countries

00:24:07.640 that you've listed here. Are there, there are ties here to, to, to Joe Biden. They right now are

00:24:17.500 inferential. Do you think that there is, I just can't imagine all of this happening without

00:24:23.660 president Obama knowing what his vice president was doing. What do you, that's a great question,

00:24:29.420 Lou? And you're the first person to ask that. And I'll tell you what my opinion is. This is my

00:24:34.400 opinion. I don't have any evidence of what I'm about to say. Everything else I've told you, we've

00:24:38.860 got evidence, but I don't, you know, everyone knows that Obama didn't want Joe Biden to run for

00:24:44.320 president. Everyone assumed it was because he was gaffe prone or because of his age. I believe, Lou,

00:24:50.840 that it was because he knew what Joe Biden was doing during the last year of his vice presidency.

00:24:56.020 He knew his son was no good. And he knew this was nothing but a political liability,

00:25:02.320 not just for our country, not just for the Democrat party, but for Barack Obama's legacy,

00:25:07.340 because a lot of this happened during the Obama administration. So I think that's why Obama didn't

00:25:14.520 want Joe Biden to run for president. I think it's because they knew about this. And remember,

00:25:18.900 a lot of these coverups would have happened during the Obama administration with Obama appointees

00:25:24.640 in the in these deep state bureaucracies. So, you know, this would be a great question for

00:25:30.640 President Obama. Did you were you aware of what was going on with Joe Biden with respect to foreign

00:25:36.160 policy and some of these ragtag countries around the world? And I think Obama knows more than

00:25:44.500 we first realized. And and following up on that very quickly here, the agencies that surround all of

00:25:54.500 this, the Internal Revenue Service or the State Department, the CIA, the NSA. Why wouldn't the agencies

00:26:05.420 be aware of these sums of money? These are not small sums of money being distributed, including to a

00:26:11.300 granddaughter to the family. This is a huge pattern. There are the SARs that you've been seeking for

00:26:20.680 months and months here over a year, I believe, and finally got them. They had to be aware of something

00:26:29.540 going on here, don't you think? Absolutely. You know, I hope this isn't a pattern with the deep

00:26:37.700 state bureaucrats. I hope they're not in on the take, too. But, you know, at the end of the day,

00:26:45.460 why have all these agencies not done anything? But what you're seeing with the IRS whistleblower

00:26:51.140 and what you're seeing with this whistleblower from Senator Grassley is I think there are good quality

00:26:58.420 people in these agencies that realize either, look, enough is enough or we're all going to get in

00:27:08.420 trouble and I'm not going down on the ship because of Joe Biden. I mean, what a terrible person to go

00:27:15.240 to. If you're if you're in your 40s and you've got a family and you've been covered up for somebody like

00:27:21.360 Joe and Hunter Biden. I mean, what what a terrible decision that would be. Right. More and more

00:27:26.880 information is coming out. These people were told that the Republicans on the Lovers Act Committee

00:27:31.920 would never get bank records. We would never get access to Treasury. We would never get these

00:27:37.520 whistleblowers and these former Biden associates to talk. And they thought everything was going to be

00:27:43.280 OK. But what's happening is we're getting access to all this. We're developing trust and confidence

00:27:50.000 with these whistleblowers. And the truth is slowly coming forward. I hope, as I said in the press

00:27:55.840 conference yesterday, I hope people that have information on this will feel comfortable and

00:28:01.520 confident to come forward to talk to me and my attorneys so that we can get the facts to the

00:28:07.840 American people and hold the people at the top accountable for wrongdoing. And you're directly tying

00:28:14.400 this to Joe Biden, his family. And the whistleblowers are your most direct evidence of that, their
