00:00:00.000 I'm Lou Dobbs with this Great America Show update. Special Counsel John Durham testifying on Capitol Hill.
00:00:06.680 Durham, the special counsel appointed by former Attorney General William Barr,
00:00:11.120 speaking publicly for the first time since being appointed.
00:00:14.400 Here's Durham with his take on the corrupt FBI that he investigated for more than three years.
00:00:20.860 Our findings were sobering. I can tell you, having spent 40 years plus as a federal prosecutor,
00:00:26.920 they were particularly sobering to me, and a number of my colleagues who have spent decades in the FBI themselves,
00:00:34.440 they were sobering.
00:00:35.960 While I'm encouraged by some of the reforms that have been implemented by the FBI,
00:00:40.120 the problems identified in this report, anybody who actually reads the report and the details of the report,
00:00:46.260 the documented portions of the report, I think would find that the problems identified in the report
00:00:54.720 are not susceptible to overnight fixes.
00:00:58.420 As we said in the report, they cannot be addressed solely by enhancing training or additional policy requirements.
00:01:05.660 Rather, what is required is accountability, both in terms of the standards to which our law enforcement personnel
00:01:12.380 hold themselves and in the consequences they face for violation of laws and policies of relevance.
00:01:20.460 We'll have much more on Durham's testimony to Congress tomorrow on The Great America Show.
00:01:26.400 Vladimir Putin readies for nuclear war.
00:01:29.580 Putin today announcing that Russia's new generation of Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missiles
00:01:35.260 that are capable of carrying 10 or more nuclear warheads will soon be deployed.
00:01:41.040 In a speech to a Russian military graduate class, Putin said this,
00:01:44.780 quote, the most important task here is the development of the nuclear triad,
00:01:49.860 which is a key guarantee of Russia's military security and global stability, end quote.
00:01:56.620 Please join us today on The Great America Show.
00:01:58.960 Our guest is former Department of Defense Chief of Staff, Kash Patel.
00:02:03.480 We talk about the sweetheart plea deal for Hunter Biden,
00:02:06.600 the House investigations into the Biden regime's corruption, and much more.
00:02:11.040 Please join us each and every weekday for The Great America Show.
