00:00:05.080 Happy Wednesday, everybody. We're halfway through the weekend. It's almost the weekend.
00:00:09.940 President Trump and Elon Musk hosting a press conference in the Oval Office last night.
00:00:14.860 Elon Musk laying out one of Doge's latest findings and their latest investigations they're going to start looking into.
00:00:23.500 Musk is reportedly looking into federal employees who managed to accrue, quote, tens of millions of dollars in net worth while being government employees.
00:00:34.260 How is that possible, you may ask? Well, we're wondering the same thing. Take a listen.
00:00:39.140 Could you mention some of the things that your team has found, some of the crazy numbers, including the woman that walked away with about 30 million, et cetera?
00:00:49.100 Well, we do find it sort of rather odd that, you know, there are quite a few people in the bureaucracy who have ostensibly a salary of a few hundred thousand dollars,
00:01:03.380 but somehow managed to accrue tens of millions of dollars in net worth while they are in that position, which is, you know, what happened to USAID.
00:01:11.940 We're just curious as to where it came from. Maybe they're very good at investing, in which case we should take their investment advice, perhaps.
00:01:19.980 But it just seems to be mysteriously they get wealthier. We don't know why. Where do they come from?
00:01:27.240 And I think the reality is that they're getting wealthier to tax their expense. That's the honest truth of it.
00:01:32.620 So, you know, we're looking at, say, if you look at, say, Treasury, for example, basic controls that should be in place, that are in place in any company,
00:01:47.920 such as making sure that any given payment has a payment categorization code, that there is a comment field that describes the payment,
00:01:55.640 and that if a payment is on the do not pay list, that you don't actually pay it. None of those things are true currently.
00:02:02.320 So the reason that departments can't pass audits is because the payments don't have a categorization code.
00:02:09.000 It's like just a massive number of blank checks just flying out the building. So you can't reconcile blank checks.
00:02:15.460 You've got comment fields that are also blanks. You don't know why the payment was made.
00:02:18.640 And then we've got this, a truly absurd, a do not pay list, which can take up to a year for an organization to get on the do not pay list.
00:02:28.860 And we're talking about terrorist organizations. We're talking about known fraudsters, known aspects of waste,
00:02:35.600 known things that do not match any congressional appropriation.
00:02:38.320 It can take up to a year to get on the list. And even what's on the list, the list is not used.

00:02:45.180 So what we're talking about here, we're really just talking about adding common sense controls that should be present,

00:03:24.440 The Marxist Dems aren't too happy that President Trump and Elon Musk are trying to root out government corruption and waste and fraud.
00:03:32.920 Also uncovered by Doge, we find out that there are at least 15 active NIH grants paying for,
00:03:40.780 you ready for this folks, transgender animal experiments.
00:03:45.840 White Coat Waste, it's an organization aimed at stopping cruel and wasteful taxpayer-funded vivisections,
00:03:51.760 has identified 15 NIH grants that is paying for these experiments,
00:03:57.080 amounting to a total of just over $26 million.
00:03:59.600 Many of these, quote, transgender animal grants were coded in the NIH's, quote,
00:04:05.660 sexual and gender minorities category, category routinely used to root diversity, equity, and inclusion grants,
00:04:12.460 which accounted for approximately $373 million of spending in 2023.
00:04:18.420 One of the experiments at the University of Alabama or Birmingham cost Uncle Sam almost $700,000,
00:04:24.940 a sum well-spent, while studying whether mice receiving so-called, quote,
00:04:29.700 gender-affirming hormone therapy responded well to treatments for kidney failure.
00:04:35.280 At the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, $2.6 million has been spent since 2019,
00:04:40.900 turning mice transgender to study testosterone treatment on, quote,
00:04:44.760 reproductive phenotype and function and determine the reversibility of these effects following
00:04:50.200 resuscitation of the hormone.
00:04:53.200 Folks, the list goes on.

00:04:56.360 Just more government wasteful spending.
