00:01:18.340 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs and welcome to The Great America Show. Great to have you with us.
00:01:24.040 Hunter Biden has finally been held in contempt of Congress. The House has only been back to work
00:01:29.060 less than a week, but boy, it's been an eventful one. You have Speaker Mike Johnson cowering to the
00:01:35.140 Marxist Dems agreeing to a $1.7 trillion spending spree, a border fight that's almost guaranteed to be
00:01:42.340 lost by the Republicans. And yesterday, the contempt of Congress markup and vote for Hunter Biden,
00:01:49.540 the son of the president who failed to show for a closed-door transcribed interview in December,
00:01:55.760 both on the day of the deposition and yesterday for the markup. Hunter showed up a surprise
00:02:01.680 appearance in Congress to perform an act. Apparently, he's not just an artist and businessman. He's now
00:02:07.820 an actor. Hunter was in the gallery of the House Oversight Committee hearing, and Congresswoman Nancy
00:02:14.200 Mace was perhaps the top performing member of Congress. Take a listen to Representative Mace
00:02:19.220 looking Hunter right in the eye and telling him this. First of all, my first question is who bribed
00:02:25.740 Hunter Biden to be here today? That's my first question. Second question, you are the epitome of
00:02:32.560 white privilege coming into the Oversight Committee, spitting in our face, ignoring a congressional
00:02:37.700 subpoena to be deposed. What are you afraid of? You have no balls to come up here.
00:02:43.620 Mr. Chairman, point of inquiry. Mr. Chairman, if the gentle lady wants to hear from Hunter Biden,
00:02:51.160 we can hear from him right now, Mr. Chairman. Let's take a vote and hear from Hunter Biden.
00:02:54.460 What are you afraid of? Are women allowed to speak in here or no? Are women allowed to speak in here
00:03:02.740 or no? Could you keep interrupting me? I'll interrupt the chairman. I don't know that he's
00:03:06.380 a lady. I think that Hunter Biden should be arrested right here, right now and go straight
00:03:12.620 to jail. Our nation is founded on the rule of law and the premise that the law applies equally
00:03:19.600 to everyone, no matter what's your lack. Point of order, Mr. Chairman. The interjection and
00:03:24.340 disruption, none other than election denier and habitual Marxist M liar, Jamie Raskin.
00:03:30.780 Just moments after Mace grilled Hunter, it was Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene's turn
00:03:35.800 to grill Hunter. And there a problem arose. As MTG began her questioning, Hunter and his attorney,
00:03:43.020 Abby Lowell, stormed out of the meeting. A hasty retreat for the embattled first son,
00:03:48.100 Lowell spoke to the press after their hasty escape and said Hunter Biden is a private citizen
00:03:54.120 and should be left all alone. Let me start again. Hunter Biden was and is a private citizen.
00:04:01.520 Despite this, Republicans have sought to use him as a surrogate to attack his father. And despite their
00:04:09.060 improper partisan motives on six different occasions since February of 2023, we have offered to work
00:04:19.000 with the House committees to see what and how relevant information to any legitimate inquiry could
00:04:26.820 be provided. Our first five offers were ignored. And then in November, they issued a subpoena for a
00:04:36.880 behind closed doors deposition. A tactic that the Republicans have repeatedly misused in their
00:04:45.140 political crusade to selectively leak and mischaracterize what witnesses have said.
00:04:52.820 Last fall, Chairman Comer made an explicit offer that people like Hunter and had, like him,
00:05:01.820 the option to attend a deposition or a public hearing, whichever they chose. Hunter chose a hearing
00:05:10.600 where Republicans could not distort, manipulate, or misuse that testimony. Honored, and then ignoring
00:05:20.080 that invitation and proving once again that they cared little about the truth and wanted only to,
00:05:28.140 quote, move the needle of political support, which was a quote Chairman Comer confessed was his true
00:05:35.720 purpose. The Republican chairs today then are commandeering an unprecedented resolution to hold
00:05:44.160 someone in contempt who has offered to publicly answer all their proper questions. The question there
00:05:51.780 is, what are they afraid of? Thank you. Poor Hunter Biden, just a good old private citizen. The contempt
00:05:59.400 vote now expected to be brought to the House floor for a full vote sometime this week. And if passed on
00:06:05.140 the floor, it goes to the Department of Justice to make the decision on prosecution, which I'm sure they
00:06:10.680 won't. There's still the same corrupt bunch of Marxist dims running the Department of Justice.
00:06:15.740 Another man getting a free pass from the DOJ, none other than January 6th mystery man Ray Epps.
00:06:22.420 Epps, who was only charged with a misdemeanor in the first place, learned of his fate yesterday for
00:06:27.740 his role in January 6th. He was sentenced to probation, 100 hours of community service, and a $500 fine.
00:06:36.680 That after the Department of Justice had recommended a relatively light sentence of six months in prison,
00:06:41.960 take a listen to Ray on January 6th as he urged people to go to the Capitol.
00:06:48.640 Tomorrow, we need to go into the Capitol. Into the Capitol.
00:06:53.960 No! No! No!
00:06:58.040 Peaceful!
00:06:58.880 Fed! Fed! Fed!
00:07:00.680 Peaceful!
00:07:01.360 Fed! Fed! Fed! Fed!
00:07:03.020 Tomorrow, I don't even like to say it because I'll be arrested.
00:07:06.760 Well, let's not say it.
00:07:07.460 We need to go, I'll say it.
00:07:09.960 All right.
00:07:10.480 We need to go in to the Capitol.
00:07:13.080 We need to go into the Capitol!
00:07:14.880 I didn't see that coming.
00:07:16.180 Okay.
00:07:16.840 Monument Hill.
00:07:17.640 The President has been speaking.
00:07:19.880 We are going to the Capitol where our problems are.
00:07:24.240 It's that direction.
00:07:25.960 Yes!
00:07:27.200 We spread the word.
00:07:28.680 More than 1,200 people were arrested on that day, January 6th.
00:07:33.180 More than 350 cases are still pending.
00:07:36.220 Roughly 170 people have been convicted at trial.
00:07:39.140 Well, more than 700 people pled guilty on their own, and only two have been fully acquitted.
00:07:44.600 Only two.
00:07:45.920 And to top it all off, more than 450 of those found guilty were sentenced to prison.
00:07:52.100 Prison terms that range from days to more than 20 years.
00:07:56.200 For Epps, it turns out to be a slap on the wrist.
00:07:59.560 And the drama out of the Biden administration that never ends continues as the administration
00:08:04.520 is answering no questions about the hospitalization of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
00:08:10.880 Our guest today, filing articles of impeachment against Austin for his breach of duty and dereliction.
00:08:17.300 Joining us here on The Great America Show again, Congressman Matt Rosendale.
00:08:21.640 Tell us your thinking and what you expect to result.
00:08:25.100 Well, the reason this is brought on now, Lou, is the pattern of behavior that he has demonstrated
00:08:31.960 since he's been confirmed by the United States Senate.
00:08:35.380 And that is one of misleading the American people and or flat out lying.
00:08:40.920 And so we'll start at this end of the scenario.
00:08:44.640 He went into the hospital to have major surgery conducted, okay, and did not inform the president
00:08:51.300 that he was going to be unavailable.
00:08:54.340 That is a national security threat.
00:08:57.460 A couple of days afterwards, tells his deputy that she should be responsible for these duties
00:09:02.380 as she's sitting in Puerto Rico, unaware of any of this transpiring whatsoever.
00:09:08.920 And then we go back and look at the botched, terribly botched withdrawal from Afghanistan
00:09:15.960 where 13 service members lost their lives in the process of trying to extract the American people
00:09:23.780 and unfortunately about 100,000 Afghan refugees, which we're still suffering other problems from.
00:09:31.020 And then we go back a little bit further to when we had a Chinese spy balloon
00:09:35.740 enter into American airspace over the Aleutian Islands.
00:09:39.640 He was aware of it, allowed it to fly over Alaska, flew over Canada, entered Montana airspace,
00:09:48.020 hovered around Malmstrom Air Force Base and 140 ICBMs for a couple of days, collecting information.
00:09:55.780 First of all, he tried to deny that there was even a Chinese spy balloon in our airspace.
00:10:03.080 Next, he tried to say that the balloon was not able to collect images or data, which we know was a flat-out lie.
00:10:13.780 And then he went on to say they could not transmit that information to China.
00:10:17.880 We now have cellular information that shows that they absolutely were transmitting those images and that data back to China.
00:10:25.740 And when you combine all of these problems, okay, I certainly believe that it warrants the impeachment of Secretary Lloyd Austin.
00:10:37.020 This has been a national security threat since he was confirmed.
00:10:41.580 There's no question that this is the most, I think, offensive, inexplicable conduct on the part of any Secretary of Defense in American history,
00:10:53.260 to actually go AWOL.
00:10:55.640 And I know the man is being treated.
00:10:58.740 He has prostate cancer.
00:11:03.380 But all of that is entirely manageable.
00:11:07.820 It is entirely treatable and curable.
00:11:10.480 This is a bizarre moment in time where all he had to do, as anyone in the command structure would do,
00:11:20.220 is inform both his peers, the authorities above him, and everyone below him.
00:11:27.880 But he did none of it.
00:11:30.540 He effectively was seriously absent without leave.
00:11:34.420 And he has been a bizarre character throughout his tenure as Defense Secretary.
00:11:41.160 He has driven DEI into the ranks.
00:11:45.100 He has driven recruiting into really a third or fourth afterthought.
00:11:52.880 We have recruiting shortfalls that are historic.
00:11:56.640 Our military is now, what, 1.3 million.
00:11:59.580 And that's fewer people in uniform than we had before World War II.
00:12:04.960 This vaccine mandates and no resolution.
00:12:08.840 You talked about equitable.
00:12:10.360 Not to be fair to those people that they wronged to begin with, with their mandatory coercion.
00:12:17.320 This is a...
00:12:18.320 He has a horrible track record and an appalling performance.
00:12:22.840 But, you know, the first thing people are going to say on the left, okay, somebody has prostate cancer
00:12:28.060 and should be allowed to do whatever he wishes, irrespective of the security of the United States of America.
00:12:34.220 That is just not so, though.
00:12:36.320 Again, he is the Defense Secretary, and he is charged with protecting our country and reporting to the President.
00:12:44.620 And I'm telling you, Lou, we didn't hear anything about why he was missing.
00:12:50.340 Nobody knew anything except that he was in the hospital and was not available.
00:12:56.100 And until I brought this resolution and started having discussions about it on Monday,
00:13:01.360 dropped it in yesterday when we gaveled in,
00:13:04.520 until yesterday afternoon pressure finally had increased at the Pentagon to the point
00:13:09.860 that they had to disclose what was going on.
00:13:12.740 I do not believe, had I not been bringing the resolution forward,
00:13:16.760 that at this time we would still even know what took place.
00:13:20.240 And you did describe the hollowing out of our military that should frighten everyone across this country.
00:13:26.920 He has been the architect of the wokenization, if you will, of our military,
00:13:33.600 having them focus more on providing funding for transgender surgeries and abortions
00:13:39.900 and battery-operated Jeeps than they are in creating the most effective fighting force on Earth.
00:13:46.700 And so when you try and figure out why in the world is it that our recruiting numbers are so low,
00:13:52.920 you don't have to do that much research to figure it out.
00:13:56.380 And as I've said, we need to make sure that everything we do as we invest in the military is just that,
00:14:03.860 that it's making the most effective fighting force on Earth.
00:14:06.880 And anything else is nothing more than a distraction.
00:14:11.460 And quite frankly, if you don't know if you're a man or a woman,
00:14:16.060 you should not have your hand on the button that's going to be launching missiles to protect our country.
00:14:22.340 We're talking with Congressman Matt Rosendale,
00:14:24.800 who has just introduced a resolution to impeach the Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
00:14:30.400 We're coming right back with him.
00:14:32.040 And we're going to take up, what does it really say about the Department of Defense and Lloyd Austin
00:14:36.860 that no one apparently missed him while he was gone?
00:14:39.940 We'll be right back.
00:14:46.460 We're back now with Congressman Matt Rosendale.
00:14:49.380 And I want to just to button up the conversation over Lloyd Austin.
00:14:53.580 You've started the impeachment process.
00:14:55.880 What does it really say about him and about the Defense Department command structure that no one missed him while he was gone?
00:15:04.900 The President of the United States didn't even know he was gone until yesterday.
00:15:09.400 What the President knows on a daily basis or does not know probably wouldn't surprise anybody that's listening to this broadcast.
00:15:18.460 OK, I am just as concerned about who is advising him.
00:15:22.680 When I watch the President try to deliver a speech and then wander around the stage when he concludes it to try and figure out how to get off of it,
00:15:31.000 I'm gravely concerned about who's advising him as well.
00:15:35.160 You're right.
00:15:36.000 We have bases around the world that are literally being attacked.
00:15:41.340 We have potential conflicts in Iran.
00:15:44.580 We've got Korea, North Korea acting up.
00:15:47.400 We've got the Chinese threatening to invade Taiwan.
00:15:50.000 There's a lot of things going on that the Secretary of Defense should have been available for to answer questions.
00:15:58.640 And the fact that nobody missed him, you're right.
00:16:01.140 Who's actually running this shadow government?
00:16:04.700 Right.
00:16:05.280 It is difficult enough to be dealing with the reality that the Commander-in-Chief is mentally impaired, cognitively impaired.
00:16:13.880 He is compromised politically, ethically, financially in every way.
00:16:20.840 And these are the leaders that we're going, could be going to war with.
00:16:26.080 It is, it has to be sobering at the least and frightening at the greatest extent to think of the leadership of this country.
00:16:34.780 And now we've got Mr. Milk Toast as a Speaker of the House.
00:16:38.260 This man, Mike Johnson, is disappointing.
00:16:42.380 I have to tell you, is an immense disappointment to me.
00:16:46.800 I have no idea how it is that he thinks he should be unilaterally ignoring his representatives.
00:16:57.000 I mean, you guys are representatives.
00:16:58.700 I think it's pretty clear to even the Speaker that you're there to represent your constituents.
00:17:03.400 But he's not working with you.
00:17:05.440 He's making deals with Joe Biden.
00:17:08.600 It's crazy.
00:17:09.820 What do you think?
00:17:11.040 I'm very disappointed.
00:17:13.180 Okay.
00:17:13.380 When I start hearing about negotiations that are taking place between the four corners, as they call it, Speaker Johnson, Hakeem Jeffries, the minority leader, and then Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell.
00:17:24.020 I know that nothing good will come from that.
00:17:27.840 Okay.
00:17:28.080 If you have a bad process, you will end up with a bad product.
00:17:31.840 That's why Congress and the Senate, we've got two separate chambers.
00:17:35.160 They are supposed to develop their own agenda.
00:17:38.860 They are supposed to, as we said, the power of the purse strings.
00:17:42.680 The House is supposed to develop the 12 appropriation bills and send them over to the Senate.
00:17:48.480 The whole system is breaking down.
00:17:51.440 And this is why the American people witnessed back in January where a small group of us demanded regular order be restored to Congress and to restore the rules that it used to be governed by.
00:18:06.220 Not some radical deviation, but to have discussion, debate on the House floor, to have single subject legislation, to develop the 12 appropriation bills by June 30 like it's supposed to happen every year.
00:18:20.200 And we are tired of the rules being suspended, a bunch of Republicans going along with a bunch of the Democrats to pass that suspension and then pass the uniparty spending that we have continued to watch, which has plunged us $34 trillion in debt.
00:18:40.280 And I will tell you, Lou, I am offended when I hear people here that have been there for a couple of decades tell me that I just don't understand that you have to work together in order to make these things happen.
00:18:54.360 And they are the very architects of the destruction of these institutions and the piling of $34 trillion of debt on our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren at this point.
00:19:08.820 The numbers are overwhelming in every sense of the word.
00:19:12.200 But when you look at $34 trillion of national debt and the rate at which money is being spent, which means that there will be over a $2 trillion deficit this year, and every quarter you're adding immense sums of money.
00:19:30.760 You and the executive are doing so, I don't know how we get out of this because we're spending almost a trillion dollars in servicing the debt.
00:19:43.140 The American people are throwing a trillion dollars at the U.S. banking system.
00:19:48.180 And you know what, folks, you don't need to do that.
00:19:50.540 There's no pity party for them.
00:19:52.320 This is a rigged, monstrous mess that we've got right now, and there will be an economic consequence.
00:19:58.660 And it will be a dark and stunning shock to this economy and to this society if we don't avoid in every way possible that calamity.
00:20:12.740 And there's only one way to do that, and that's, as you have been preaching and calling for throughout, we've got to cut spending.
00:20:21.700 Not on the rate of spending.
00:20:23.440 We've got to cut it.
00:20:24.740 Exactly.
00:20:25.380 Exactly.
00:20:25.760 Look, I was the commissioner of securities and insurance for the state of Montana from 2016 until 2020.
00:20:32.540 In that four-year period, I reduced the spending in that agency by 23%.
00:20:36.660 Not the increases.
00:20:38.900 I reduced the spending by 23%.
00:20:42.140 And we still provided oversight on all the different agencies that we were supposed to in a very, very effective fashion.
00:20:51.840 We must reduce our spending.
00:20:54.180 We have to.
00:20:54.700 One of the things that everybody continues to stay away from is the mandatory part of spending.
00:21:00.660 Now, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid are all part of mandatory spending.
00:21:06.180 So that stuff is on autopilot.
00:21:08.400 It needs to be reviewed.
00:21:09.960 But, Lou, Congress has shifted a bunch of other things into mandatory spending as well so that they don't ever have to consider it again.
00:21:17.880 We have to get real about addressing those issues.
00:21:21.260 Or guess what?
00:21:22.700 Those programs aren't going to be around to support the very people that have already paid into that.
00:21:29.440 Keep this in mind.
00:21:30.860 The amount of debt is going to climb to $50 trillion in five short years.
00:21:37.080 This is real.
00:21:39.220 $50 trillion.
00:21:40.020 And at that level, it will consume not a trillion dollars a year, but it's going to consume about 50% of the total revenue that the federal government collects.
00:21:51.120 So if you think we're having difficult times now trying to figure out where to cut, in five years, 50% of the revenue will go to service the debt.
00:22:00.260 Absolutely incredible.
00:22:02.020 We're talking with Congressman Matt Rosendale.
00:22:05.020 We're going to talk when we come back about the cartels' control of our U.S. border and how nice it was of Joe Biden when he took office to turn over control of 2,000 miles of border with Mexico directly to the drug cartels who now control both sides.
00:22:21.500 We're coming right back talking with Congressman Matt Rosendale.
00:22:24.680 Stay with us.
00:22:29.400 We're back now with Congressman Matt Rosendale.
00:22:33.540 And Congressman, the cartels now own the border.
00:22:39.200 The United States government is not in control of that border.
00:22:41.540 The Mexican government is not in control of that border.
00:22:43.520 That means only one group could be, and that is the Mexican drug cartels.
00:22:48.020 And it's one reason you've got so many people who are, let's say, very happy with the Mexican government.
00:22:54.340 And Manuel Lopez Obrador, the president, because they're scared to death of the cartels that run the southern portion of those four border states, as well as nearly all of Mexico.
00:23:07.940 And also, they run President Manuel Lopez Obrador.
00:23:11.360 We're looking at, this is the reality, and no one wants to say it out loud.
00:23:16.880 I just did.
00:23:18.100 And we've got to, I just can't understand what you guys are doing about you, the Republican conference, are doing about that border.
00:23:26.620 And your speaker goes down there and acts like it's the first time he's ever thought about illegal immigration.
00:23:32.780 I swear to you.
00:23:34.280 So, they're not just taking operational control.
00:23:39.240 The formal term is operational control of our border.
00:23:44.760 But I have a very strong relationship with my state attorney general, Austin Knudsen.
00:23:50.840 And the cartels are operating in all 50 states, Lil.
00:23:57.400 They're operating in all 50 states.
00:23:59.200 That's how we're getting this fentanyl distributed around the country.
00:24:02.060 That's where we're losing somewhere in the neighborhood of 100,000 American citizens every year to drug overdoses, most of which is coming from fentanyl.
00:24:11.920 That is coming from the southern border.
00:24:14.360 The components are coming from China.
00:24:16.660 But it's being processed and sent in through there.
00:24:19.760 The cartel in the Del Rio sector alone, so that's that Eagle Pass area.
00:24:25.560 I went down there.
00:24:26.420 That was my fourth trip down to the border.
00:24:28.140 I went down last week.
00:24:29.160 The CBP officers told me that they estimate that the cartel is making, in that one sector alone, $32 million a week.
00:24:41.360 They are controlling our southern border.
00:24:44.740 I talked to law enforcement, the local sheriff.
00:24:48.080 He says, we don't have an illegal immigration problem.
00:24:51.300 We have a slave trade problem.
00:24:53.700 All of these hundreds of thousands of people that are coming into our country illegally have a financial obligation to the cartel, and they will pay it, and they will pay it, and they will work until they pay that debt off.
00:25:07.860 They are slaves to the cartel.
00:25:10.120 We hear about the terrible human trafficking and the sex trafficking that's taking place.
00:25:15.040 There's probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 100,000 children that have come across our border illegally that are missing.
00:25:23.240 We don't even know where they are.
00:25:25.180 God help those children and the circumstances and the conditions that they have been sold into.
00:25:31.620 But God help those who are leaving this border open that's allowing that to happen.
00:25:36.840 So now we combine that going back to this spending issue, Lou.
00:25:42.540 This is the one time, January 19th, when we're going to have the opportunity as the House of Representatives to say we're not going to sign off on any additional spending until our border is secure.
00:25:57.240 And whether you use the provisions of HR 2, which was the most comprehensive conservative legislation to address illegal immigration and our southern border security that has ever come through Washington, D.C., or the provisions of five pieces of legislation that I will be introducing tomorrow, starting with a stoppage of all immigration except for the work visas, the temporary work visas,
00:26:26.420 stop all immigration for five years until we can reduce those numbers down and including measures that will stop the asylees from claiming asylum status being released into our country for a term of six to eight years before they can have a hearing to determine if they're even eligible for asylum.
00:26:45.880 This is our opportunity to utilize, as they say, the power of the purse strings, okay, and say we're not going to fund the balance of government until these provisions are implemented and we secure our southern border.
00:27:02.980 I think you're saying what a lot of people are thinking as well.
00:27:08.600 I often do that.
00:27:10.940 Many of them are usually afraid to say so, though.
00:27:14.020 What is the expression?
00:27:17.140 There's no one more blessed than a fellow who gets lucky what he thinks, right?
00:27:21.700 There are not many fellows in Washington doing what you're doing and getting lucky when they think.
00:27:26.500 They don't even bother to think, most of them.
00:27:29.180 Why is our government involved?
00:27:30.820 You mentioned the children that are coming across that border.
00:27:33.520 This government, the Biden regime, we know why they're collaborating with the AMLO,
00:27:41.080 the Manuel Lopez Obrador government.
00:27:44.200 We know why they want the border wide open so there can be more sex trafficking.
00:27:48.680 There can be more fentanyl in here.
00:27:50.640 They don't give a damn that 100,000 Americans are dying.
00:27:54.940 And you know what?
00:27:55.420 The American people don't seem to be paying attention to it either.
00:27:58.700 Think about that number.
00:27:59.520 I mean, it approaches half of the number of Americans who gave their lives in Vietnam,
00:28:04.620 for crying out loud, in that war.
00:28:06.840 And we're losing that number every year, and no one mentions it.
00:28:11.200 It's just collateral damage to the quote-unquote good life that the Biden administration
00:28:16.380 and the Marxist Dems are living in what's left of America.
00:28:20.000 It's outrageous.
00:28:20.880 Think about this, Lou.
00:28:22.960 If we had a jet go down, one of these big wide-bodied jets, and it would take 350 lives,
00:28:29.480 okay?
00:28:29.900 If a jet went down, they would investigate that, and they would ground all those jets.
00:28:34.320 We had one that had a door blow off.
00:28:36.800 Not a single soul was lost, thank God.
00:28:39.780 But they still grounded 200 jets over that.
00:28:43.060 And we're losing the same level of one jet a day going down from fentanyl deaths.
00:28:49.020 Do you think that maybe the federal government should do something about that?
00:28:53.340 Alejandro Mayorkas should do something about that?
00:28:55.600 Quite frankly, Lloyd Austin, this is a national security threat.
00:28:59.340 They're not doing anything about it because they are allowing the Biden administration
00:29:03.480 to create a permanent underclass.
00:29:06.060 Whether those people actually end up voting and turning into Democrat voters is beside the point.
00:29:11.660 What they understand is they want to make them dependent,
00:29:14.560 and that's why they start giving them things as soon as they enter our country
00:29:18.620 to create a permanent underclass that certainly will require a lot of Democrat votes
00:29:24.320 to maintain that dependency, okay?
00:29:26.940 To maintain that safety net for them.
00:29:29.960 And so they look as having a captive audience and a captured audience,
00:29:36.000 regardless of how the permanent underclass that they so severely,
00:29:42.140 they disdain and they cause their suffering, but they prosper from it.
00:29:49.340 Absolutely.
00:29:50.460 And Congressman, as we wrap up here, you mentioned January 19th.
00:29:56.840 We're going to find out a lot of things about the leadership of the Republican Party
00:30:01.420 and those who are members of the conference.
00:30:03.460 I have, and I want to get, just as we wrap up here very quickly,
00:30:09.660 I want your sense of whether or not there is enough stuff in the spine of Mike Johnson
00:30:15.640 to actually lead, or are we going to watch another sellout to the Uniparty,
00:30:20.320 to the deep state and the Marxist Dems?
00:30:23.400 I am very concerned whether he will have the intestinal fortitude to stand with the people
00:30:30.540 across the country, okay, instead of the Uniparty and the D.C. cartel
00:30:35.660 that tends to fund all of the apparatus, if you will, to keep these people in place.
00:30:45.700 I am concerned about that.
00:30:47.400 And that's why I'm going out on every single program that I can
00:30:50.280 and asking people to reach out to their representative, to reach out to the Speaker's office,
00:30:55.400 and to say, we demand that we get operational control of our southern border.
00:31:02.080 We demand that spending levels go down because they are the two imminent threats
00:31:07.980 that our country is facing right now.
00:31:10.400 Well, we'll give them that number right now.
00:31:12.800 The capital switchboard is 202-224-3121.
00:31:17.480 That's 202-224-3121.
00:31:22.400 Let your representatives and senators know how you feel about it all,
00:31:26.440 because the feelings are, as they say, rising.
00:31:29.940 Congressman Matt Rosendale, always great to talk with you.
