00:00:21.000 You can shoot loads at a discount. 0.85

00:00:24.000 And Chris will tell you, he used to be Chris.

00:00:26.000 That's a long story.

00:00:28.000 Now his name is Aubrey.

00:00:29.000 It's gonna get dirty, ladies and gentlemen.

00:00:31.000 My buddy Chris, formerly known as Chris, the artist formerly known as Chris, is in the house.

00:00:36.000 Chris Marcus.

00:00:37.000 What's up, what's up? 1.00

00:00:38.000 Buckle up, bitches. 1.00

00:00:39.000 The Joe Rogan Experience. 1.00

00:00:41.000 We're going to get started.

00:00:42.000 This podcast has been very interesting for a number of reasons.

00:00:58.000 It's been a weird little ride.

00:01:01.000 Unexpected.

00:01:01.000 We never thought we were going to do this.

00:01:03.000 This totally came out of nowhere. 0.98

00:01:06.000 Just me and Brian just fucking around. 0.95

00:01:08.000 But one of the... 0.96

00:01:11.000 Best parts about it has been the ability to get all these people together.

00:01:17.000 To get all these cool dudes that we're friends with and really spend a lot of time with them. 0.93

00:01:23.000 Much more time than we would have spent with them talking about shit if we didn't have a podcast. 0.88

00:01:27.000 You know, like Brian Callan. 0.98

00:01:29.000 I mean, we've really gotten deep into who Duncan is.

00:01:32.000 Man, I know Duncan so much more over this last year.

00:01:35.000 It went from going to a comedy club and saying hi to somebody, like, oh, how was your week, to actually digging into this person for two to three hours.

00:01:42.000 Yeah, finding out their thoughts on everything.

00:01:46.000 Politics, religion, life, and death.

00:01:50.000 Chris is one of the more interesting cats that we met along the way, and he's responsible for getting us together with The Fleshlight.

00:01:58.000 That was the first person ever that offered to sponsor us.

00:02:03.000 And he's also an interesting dude.

00:02:09.000 I'm glad that we met.

00:02:11.000 You're a unique character, and a real one.

00:02:15.000 You're a real one.

00:02:15.000 There's a lot of people out there pretending to be guys like you.

00:02:19.000 But they're not really.

00:02:20.000 You know what I'm saying?

00:02:23.000 I'm just very happy we met.

00:02:26.000 I'm very happy we're friends.

00:02:27.000 Likewise, man.

00:02:27.000 And this latest experience that you have gone on is one of the reasons why I really dig you.

00:02:34.000 He's the real deal. 0.99

00:02:36.000 He got up and he flew to fucking Peru. 1.00

00:02:39.000 And he went to the jungle with those root-eating motherfuckers. 1.00

00:02:44.000 Did you sleep in camps? 1.00

00:02:45.000 Yeah, it was little huts.

00:02:47.000 How many days were you down there for?

00:02:48.000 I was in the jungle for six and then out in the mountains for another six or seven. 0.95

00:02:53.000 Now, he got so fucked up on this ayahuasca that he changed his name. 0.99

00:02:57.000 I died, Joe. 1.00

00:02:58.000 I had to come back something else.

00:03:00.000 He used to be Chris and now he's Aubrey.

00:03:02.000 Or you murdered somebody and you're running from the law.

00:03:05.000 I'm running from the Peruvian authorities.

00:03:07.000 I'm fascinated.

00:03:08.000 I'm perplexed.

00:03:09.000 I'm horrified.

00:03:11.000 I'm all of the above.

00:03:13.000 So let's get into it.

00:03:15.000 So how did you find out about this place?

00:03:20.000 For those who don't know what ayahuasca is...

00:03:23.000 Ayahuasca is the orally active version of the most potent psychedelic drug known to man, which is dimethyltryptamine.

00:03:32.000 Dimethyltryptamine is produced by the human body.

00:03:35.000 They don't understand why, but they believe that it's produced during heavy REM sleep and during periods of extreme stress.

00:03:42.000 They don't know what it is.

00:03:43.000 They don't know what its real true function is, but they do know that it is the most incredible hallucination-creating, visionary, psychedelic experience known to man.

00:03:57.000 No doubt.

00:03:58.000 It's a struggling, incredible experience.

00:04:00.000 But it's not orally active because it's in so many different plants that if you got it orally from eating it, man, people would go on DMT trips all the time because it's in all sorts of different grasses and plants and usually in a combinatory state with a bunch of other, whether they're active or non-psychoactive ingredients.

00:04:25.000 Like some plants actually contain 5-methoxy dimethyltryptamine, which is another form of DMT that's just as, actually more powerful but unique and different than the regular DMT experience.

00:04:39.000 But we're getting off track.

00:04:41.000 What ayahuasca is, is the shamans of South America figured out, and no one knows how long ago they figured this out, whether it's a thousand years, ten thousand years.

00:04:51.000 It's all guesswork, because there's no written history of it.

00:04:53.000 They figured out how to combine...

00:04:56.000 The reason why it's not orally active is your stomach produces something called monoamine oxidase, and that breaks down dimethyltryptamine in the oral form.

00:05:05.000 So once it gets to your stomach, where any...

00:05:09.000 Like marijuana, when you eat it, it would get into your bloodstream.

00:05:13.000 Well, it can't because the monoamine oxidase crushes it.

00:05:16.000 So what they figured out how to do is take the root of one plant, the leaves of one plant, and the vine of another plant.

00:05:23.000 And they don't even grow near each other.

00:05:25.000 They're on completely other parts of the jungle.

00:05:28.000 And there's over 100,000 different types of plants in the jungle.

00:05:33.000 So the fact that they figured out how to do this, and thousands of years ago, and when you ask them, who knows?

00:05:39.000 If they're telling you the truth.

00:05:40.000 But what they say is that the plants taught them how to do this. 0.74

00:05:44.000 They look at you like you're a big dummy when you ask them.

00:05:46.000 They're like, how did you find that out? 1.00

00:05:49.000 And they're like, they told us, dummy.

00:05:51.000 It's like that matter of fact when you're talking to the real deal down there.

00:05:54.000 It's not like they come up with an elaborate story.

00:05:57.000 They just look at you like, well, obviously, they told us.

00:06:00.000 How do you think?

00:06:01.000 Do you think we just guessed?

00:06:02.000 You know, like, come on.

00:06:03.000 They told you.

00:06:05.000 Well, you know what?

00:06:05.000 I mean, that seems to be an actual possibility that, to me, is more likely than they figured it out through trial and error.

00:06:13.000 Well, the combination there, if you, you know, I don't know.

00:06:16.000 I'm not a math type of guy.

00:06:17.000 It also could be evidence of an ancient civilization that figured out, you know, plant pharmacology.

00:06:26.000 I'm sure there's a lot of medicines that are putting two different things that have nothing to do with each other together.

00:06:31.000 Sure.

00:06:33.000 There's one particular one called curare, which they use.

00:06:36.000 And if they don't do it exactly the right way, it's a deadly toxic poison.

00:06:42.000 But the way that they're able to do it...

00:06:45.000 It's just pretty miraculous that a bunch of people haven't died.

00:06:48.000 So there's plenty of examples of that.

00:06:49.000 What is curare?

00:06:51.000 Is it a medicine?

00:06:52.000 I think that's a medicine, right?

00:06:54.000 I think it's the way that they prepare it. 1.00

00:06:57.000 I always thought that that was some shit that they would put on poison darts and shoot at people. 1.00

00:07:02.000 Maybe I have that. 0.99

00:07:03.000 I don't know, because I'm only going from Tarzan movies.

00:07:08.000 Maybe that is the poison dart thing.

00:07:09.000 Do you know how to spell it? 1.00

00:07:10.000 How do you spell that shit? 0.99

00:07:11.000 It's C-U-R-A-R-E. C-U-R-A-R-E. Yeah, there's something with the preparation, I think, of it where if they did it wrong... 0.99

00:07:20.000 A common name for various arrow poisons.

00:07:24.000 Okay, so that's arrow poison.

00:07:25.000 Originating in South America.

00:07:26.000 Well, I guess if you do it right, it kills people.

00:07:30.000 Maybe with the boiling fumes or something like that.

00:07:33.000 The point is, it's amazing that these people figured out long before we were ever driving cars or sending emails, they figured out how to combine these two plants and make an orally active version of dimethyltryptamine that, in the words of the shaman, connects you to the spirit world.

00:07:54.000 And the idea is that there is a world that is all around us all the time, but we just cannot tune into it.

00:08:01.000 And it is a world of souls, and it is a world of the afterlife, and it is a world of non-embodied entities that are, to the experiencer, to the subjective person that's having this experience, they are As real, if not more real, than this life itself.

00:08:18.000 I was there, brother.

00:08:19.000 I saw it.

00:08:20.000 I mean, I was in it, and it was completely indisputable for me.

00:08:24.000 And that was what was so life-changing about it.

00:08:26.000 What was indisputable?

00:08:26.000 Tell us what happened.

00:08:28.000 You go down there.

00:08:29.000 You had to write a whole thing to get in there.

00:08:32.000 What happened there?

00:08:32.000 So it's kind of a school of shamans that have been studying and training.

00:08:37.000 And going to classes and things, led by a master shaman who's found out the best in South America, learned from them for 30 years, and is now trying to teach people here in the U.S. about it.

00:08:46.000 So in order to get into this, this is kind of like the master class here.

00:08:50.000 This is the finishing course, going down and taking the medicine down in the Amazon.

00:08:54.000 So in order to get admitted, I had to write a letter, and they reviewed it, and did whatever they do to kind of approve me to go along.

00:09:02.000 But eventually I was like, So did you have to go through any stages besides writing the letter?

00:09:07.000 This is the master class?

00:09:08.000 It was kind of, yeah.

00:09:09.000 This is like the ultimate field trip at the end of the school, you know, where you actually really get to test your skills.

00:09:17.000 Do you have on you what you wrote?

00:09:19.000 I could get it in my email.

00:09:20.000 I would love to read it in all of its cheesy glory.

00:09:23.000 Because I know it has to be. 0.99

00:09:25.000 You probably put some emotional shit in there. 0.99

00:09:27.000 Like, I lost my cat. 1.00

00:09:29.000 No, that's not the kind of shit you put in there, man. 1.00

00:09:31.000 You talk spiritual warrior journey type poetry shit. 1.00

00:09:35.000 You talk about your intent. 0.98

00:09:36.000 So what did you say?

00:09:38.000 And the letter basically just said about my intent to explore these realms of consciousness and why I wanted to do it.

00:09:46.000 I wanted to go there, learn, grow and bring something back.

00:09:50.000 And that was really the gist of it.

00:09:53.000 And they sent it back to you with a gold star?

00:09:55.000 Yeah, they gave me the thumbs up.

00:09:57.000 There's your Willy Wonka golden ticket to meet the spirit world.

00:09:59.000 That's it.

00:10:00.000 That's it.

00:10:01.000 Okay, so you get there.

00:10:02.000 You fly in.

00:10:03.000 So fly in.

00:10:04.000 Do you take a van out to the camp?

00:10:05.000 Like, how do you get to where the people are?

00:10:06.000 Well, we fly, and then we take another flight out to a place called Puerto Maldonado.

00:10:09.000 And one of these planes?

00:10:11.000 It was actually a decent-sized plane.

00:10:14.000 I've gone on a lot worse.

00:10:14.000 Was it a propeller?

00:10:15.000 No, no, I had a real jet.

00:10:17.000 Oh, it was a jet.

00:10:17.000 Okay.

00:10:18.000 But then we take a canoe, a two-hour canoe.

00:10:21.000 I mean, we arrive at Puerto Maldonado.

00:10:22.000 It's like a real... 1.00

00:10:24.000 That's where I tell you to go fuck yourself. 1.00

00:10:25.000 It's like a real third world country. 1.00

00:10:27.000 I mean, it's just you smell feces and fish and smiling happy people, but it's like dust and diesel fume.

00:10:33.000 It's one of those places.

00:10:33.000 That two-hour canoe just into the middle of nowhere.

00:10:36.000 You're on the Amazon.

00:10:37.000 Amazon.

00:10:38.000 The Madre de Dios River. 1.00

00:10:39.000 Jesus fucking Christ. 0.99

00:10:40.000 I've been watching a lot of that Jeremy Wade's River Monsters, so I'm just looking at this muddy brown water, thinking of these eels that burrow through people's flesh and sawfish and all those things that he's pulled out of there. 0.99

00:10:52.000 But yeah, three hours up is two and a half or so up the river to this place.

00:10:57.000 It was just this eco-lodge.

00:10:58.000 Running on generators and out in the middle of the jungle.

00:11:01.000 And generators that are fueled by, is it biodiesel?

00:11:05.000 Like how do they just get it from a source?

00:11:08.000 Do you have a truck come by and deliver it?

00:11:09.000 Well, a big ship.

00:11:10.000 The ship comes up the river.

00:11:12.000 Do they keep the generators on for a certain amount of time?

00:11:14.000 Yeah, about three hours.

00:11:14.000 Three hours at a time?

00:11:16.000 So they have no refrigerators?

00:11:18.000 No, not good ones, I guess.

00:11:20.000 But the food was great, so I didn't really probe too deeply.

00:11:22.000 Maybe they keep the kitchen part on Generation more, but the lights and everything like that, we got about two and a half hours a day.

00:11:30.000 Wow. 0.99

00:11:31.000 So at nighttime, it's just dark as fuck. 0.99

00:11:33.000 Yeah. 0.98

00:11:33.000 And right when you'd start the ceremony, that's when the lights would kick and just boom. 0.98

00:11:37.000 And then with the canopies above, I mean, it's just cave black.

00:11:40.000 Now, do they have to worry about jaguars?

00:11:42.000 They do.

00:11:43.000 But the jaguars is a very sacred animal to them.

00:11:46.000 So if it eats you, it's cool?

00:11:48.000 Right.

00:11:49.000 Well, they believe that that's what happens to us when we die anyway.

00:11:53.000 Because you ain't sacred to them, man.

00:11:54.000 I'll tell you that. 0.99

00:11:55.000 They have a totally different fucking game plan they're playing with. 0.99

00:11:58.000 Totally different rule book. 0.99

00:12:00.000 Yeah, but there was jaguar tracks while we were there in some of the places we were hiking. 1.00

00:12:04.000 God damn, son. 0.99

00:12:06.000 Jaguars are like mountain lions on steroids. 1.00

00:12:09.000 Yeah.

00:12:09.000 Just ninja.

00:12:11.000 Ninja mountain lions. 0.97

00:12:12.000 They're killers, man. 1.00

00:12:13.000 They're scary as fuck. 1.00

00:12:14.000 Okay, so you get to this camp. 0.99

00:12:16.000 You're two hours on a canoe.

00:12:18.000 And do you speak this language?

00:12:19.000 What language do they speak?

00:12:20.000 Spanish.

00:12:21.000 Do you speak Spanish?

00:12:22.000 Un poquito.

00:12:23.000 So did you bring Rosetta Stone with you?

00:12:26.000 Or did you just have a guide?

00:12:27.000 No, I just kind of...

00:12:29.000 I don't know.

00:12:29.000 I mean, just tried to get by.

00:12:31.000 It actually got a little bit tougher when I was trying to speak about things that are not commonplace, like with the maestro, the head shaman.

00:12:37.000 I mean, trying to communicate with him.

00:12:39.000 He's a maestro?

00:12:39.000 They call him a maestro?

00:12:40.000 Maestro or Don Orlando.

00:12:42.000 Maestro Orlando was the guy I worked with.

00:12:44.000 Maestro is an interesting name.

00:12:45.000 Yeah.

00:12:46.000 Because, you know, you think of someone from a band, the leader of a band.

00:12:49.000 To them, they're master of the plants, is what they call it.

00:12:52.000 So is that Spanish?

00:12:53.000 Maestro is master?

00:12:54.000 Master of the plants.

00:12:55.000 Vegetalistas.

00:12:56.000 Vegetalistas, right.

00:12:57.000 Yeah.

00:12:57.000 And isn't that one of the names for the...

00:12:59.000 There's two different churches, I believe, in North America that have won through the Supreme Court the ability to take ayahuasca in a ceremonial Christian religion.

00:13:10.000 One, it's that name.

00:13:12.000 Church of Santo Daime and the other one is the Vegetalista or something like that.

00:13:15.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:13:16.000 And they're in like New Mexico or something like that.

00:13:18.000 So you're down there in the jungle, okay?

00:13:23.000 You get to the camp.

00:13:24.000 Do you say hi? 0.99

00:13:25.000 Let's fucking do this? 0.99

00:13:26.000 Well, yes. 0.99

00:13:28.000 We show up and there was like a general orientation.

00:13:31.000 They feed us.

00:13:32.000 Are they speaking to you in English?

00:13:34.000 Both.

00:13:34.000 English and Spanish.

00:13:35.000 So this is organized?

00:13:37.000 It's organized, yeah.

00:13:38.000 There was like 50 of us going down there.

00:13:40.000 Really?

00:13:40.000 Yeah, it was a big troop.

00:13:42.000 Man, see, that would trip me out, like, getting blasted with a bunch of weirdos that I didn't know.

00:13:46.000 It was interesting.

00:13:47.000 They were all super good-natured, but this is not the crew that I would bring on board like a seaworthy vessel if I was going to, you know, cross the ocean.

00:13:54.000 A lot of broken people, right?

00:13:56.000 I think they started that way, and this was an answer for a lot of people.

00:13:59.000 But, you know, genuinely good people.

00:14:00.000 I was impressed to see that they weren't a lot of these super kind of fraudulent, pseudo-spiritual, like, I'm so connected.

00:14:08.000 They were really good people.

00:14:10.000 They were out to help you, but they weren't the saltiest crew, I would say.

00:14:16.000 That element of insincerity is really one of the biggest problems with human beings.

00:14:23.000 Yeah.

00:14:23.000 And in a sense, a lot of people, whatever you become anything, you've got to fake it before you make it.

00:14:29.000 You know, like, I've had this conversation with my friends about comics that are comics that are just starting out, and like, you know, that's not a fucking comic. 0.98

00:14:34.000 Look at this fucking terrible. 0.99

00:14:35.000 Like, goddamn, man, if you saw me a week into my act, you'd want to kill me, too. 1.00

00:14:39.000 You know, I was a faker. 1.00

00:14:40.000 I was a faker until I became a comic.

00:14:42.000 But there's something about the spiritual thing.

00:14:45.000 It's like faking spirituality is... 0.80

00:14:48.000 It's one of the grossest things. 0.85

00:14:50.000 It is.

00:14:50.000 It's even grosser than faking being a rock star.

00:14:53.000 If you're in fucking high school and you're wearing black nail polish and you're growing your hair long, you decide to fake like you're a rock star until you become a rock star. 0.99

00:15:01.000 You know what I mean? 0.99

00:15:01.000 Well, because faking to be a rock star actually helps you to be a rock star. 0.99

00:15:04.000 Faking to be spiritual actually prevents you from being spiritual.

00:15:07.000 So it's the opposite.

00:15:08.000 That is an interesting way to see it. 0.99

00:15:12.000 Spirituality has so much to do with true humility and not worrying about your fucking image. 0.99

00:15:18.000 And the real issue with fake spirituality is that it's all about the image. 0.99

00:15:25.000 It's all about projecting this image.

00:15:29.000 Artificial piety.

00:15:30.000 This artificial sense of...

00:15:33.000 It's like vegans that get real uppity with you about killing animals.

00:15:38.000 What they're really doing is they're taking a moral high ground.

00:15:42.000 They're taking a ground.

00:15:44.000 Whether it's a Christian ground or a spiritual ground, they're pretending to be above you. 1.00

00:15:49.000 And they'll do this with this spirituality or they'll...

00:15:53.000 I think now that I've gone down there, I think anybody we encounter like that should just have to prove it.

00:15:57.000 Just drink a full cup of ayahuasca and see what happens.

00:16:01.000 We were in 24 Hour Fitness and I was with Eddie Bravo back when he was in his most ferocious...

00:16:08.000 There was a time when Eddie Bravo would just try to hit on every pretty girl he could run into.

00:16:13.000 The falcon days.

00:16:14.000 Could not not hit on them.

00:16:15.000 In that long history. 1.00

00:16:17.000 Bad motherfucker. 1.00

00:16:18.000 He was being successful. 1.00

00:16:19.000 So he was knocking him out of the park.

00:16:21.000 He was enjoying it.

00:16:22.000 But anyway, the point is we're at a gym and we're lifting weights and this girl has this cute little body and she's talking to him and Eddie is like, so what's up?

00:16:30.000 Where are you from?

00:16:31.000 Blah, blah, blah.

00:16:32.000 And she was like, oh, I'm from...

00:16:34.000 Out of state, and I'm really not that happy with California.

00:16:37.000 She was like, real uppity.

00:16:38.000 And he's like, what's up?

00:16:40.000 Like, what's the matter?

00:16:41.000 She goes, well, you know what?

00:16:42.000 There's just a lack of spirituality here.

00:16:45.000 And I don't think that the men are very godlike.

00:16:50.000 That's what she actually said.

00:16:51.000 She actually said they're not very godlike.

00:16:53.000 And we were like, and I was like, right there with him. 0.99

00:16:56.000 I was like, shit, is that godlike? 0.99

00:16:57.000 Like, I don't want to start making fun of her because he's trying to get laid. 1.00

00:17:01.000 So I'm being cool and I back off and I'm like, what the fuck? 0.99

00:17:04.000 I'm a god. 0.99

00:17:05.000 And then we're over working out.

00:17:06.000 He goes, she didn't say godlike?

00:17:08.000 The men are not godlike?

00:17:10.000 You know, I guess what she was saying was like, you know, living by the word of God.

00:17:14.000 Anyway, long story short, a week later, we're at the Spearmint Rhino Strip Club in Van Nuys, California.

00:17:20.000 Who takes the stage right in front of us but godlike?

00:17:24.000 Yeah.

00:17:24.000 Are you serious?

00:17:24.000 Godlike in the all nudes trip club with her hot little body.

00:17:28.000 We're looking right at her little asshole. 1.00

00:17:30.000 And she looks at us and the fucking poor girl, she remembered us from the gym. 1.00

00:17:35.000 And she remembered that that was the day that she had probably chosen to try out this new persona. 1.00

00:17:40.000 You know, crazy strippers. 1.00

00:17:41.000 One day they're super religious, and one day they're fucking spiritual. 1.00

00:17:45.000 The next day they're, you know, going to be a yoga teacher. 1.00

00:17:47.000 You know, they're fucking lost. 1.00

00:17:48.000 That's why they're stripping. 1.00

00:17:49.000 It wasn't God-like, like, perfect body, face, everything like that?

00:17:53.000 Like, not religious-wise?

00:17:54.000 No, no, no.

00:17:54.000 She was talking about...

00:17:56.000 No, no, no, no, no, no.

00:17:58.000 Clearly, she was talking about spirituality first.

00:18:00.000 She said men aren't spiritual, and then she said they're not very God-like.

00:18:03.000 She was talking about that people aren't spiritual in California, and that she's from a place where people are, you know, much more...

00:18:10.000 Right.

00:18:10.000 You know, in tune with the way of God.

00:18:12.000 But it was hilarious.

00:18:13.000 The strip club's in Nebraska.

00:18:15.000 That's where you find some strip clubs. 1.00

00:18:16.000 She's fucking not even in a regular strip club. 1.00

00:18:18.000 This shit is hardcore. 1.00

00:18:19.000 This is pussies and assholes in your face. 1.00

00:18:22.000 And she's, you know, quivering her butt and doing that thing when they shake their butt up and down. 1.00

00:18:26.000 I'm like, yeah. 0.93

00:18:28.000 But it's just godlike.

00:18:30.000 Anyway, that's fake spiritual.

00:18:31.000 So you're in the jungle.

00:18:32.000 There's no fake spiritual people.

00:18:34.000 It's all genuine seekers. 0.89

00:18:36.000 I wouldn't say no, but it's like a very high percentage of really...

00:18:39.000 Any hot chicks out there? 1.00

00:18:41.000 No.

00:18:42.000 Not really.

00:18:43.000 There was some that took care of themselves.

00:18:47.000 Actually, I was able to go with my mother on this trip.

00:18:49.000 You went with your mother?

00:18:50.000 Wow. 0.99

00:18:51.000 Which was fucking sweet. 1.00

00:18:52.000 Goddamn. 1.00

00:18:52.000 That is so cool. 1.00

00:18:54.000 That was cool.

00:18:54.000 Wow.

00:18:55.000 A whole new world for her.

00:18:56.000 You must have a really good mom.

00:18:58.000 My mom's dope. 1.00

00:18:58.000 She was a semi-finalist in Wimbledon, pro athlete. 1.00

00:19:01.000 Wow.

00:19:02.000 Traveled the world. 0.99

00:19:02.000 No shit. 0.99

00:19:03.000 Yeah, for sure. 1.00

00:19:04.000 Wow.

00:19:05.000 That's amazing. 1.00

00:19:06.000 Your mom's some fucking shit. 1.00

00:19:08.000 Yeah. 1.00

00:19:08.000 My mom would get annoying after a couple days in Peru, I could tell. 1.00

00:19:12.000 Yeah, my mom would do tough action. 1.00

00:19:14.000 My mom, somewhere along the line, has become a five-year-old.

00:19:17.000 I have to explain everything to her.

00:19:18.000 Mom, that's fake.

00:19:19.000 It is?

00:19:20.000 Yeah, that's a commercial.

00:19:22.000 What?

00:19:22.000 She's like, send me things.

00:19:23.000 Can you believe this?

00:19:24.000 No, I can't because it's not real.

00:19:27.000 It's Bruce Lee playing ping pong with Nunchucks. 1.00

00:19:29.000 Have you seen this?

00:19:31.000 I don't think I'd be down with going into the spirit world with her.

00:19:36.000 Unless we were in a bus going off a cliff and I had no choice.

00:19:41.000 Then we're taking that trip together until then.

00:19:45.000 So you get down there with your mom, you're on a canoe.

00:19:48.000 Did you have to talk her into this or was she totally down? 1.00

00:19:51.000 No, she was into it.

00:19:52.000 She was fired up.

00:19:53.000 So I think she was looking for, she doesn't really have any strong kind of set beliefs, but she's like a rabbit explorer.

00:19:59.000 She loves new adventures and things like that.

00:20:02.000 So she knew I was into it and she's like, yeah, I'd love to do that.

00:20:05.000 Was she ever religious at all?

00:20:07.000 No, not really.

00:20:09.000 No, but she's just open to things, but she doesn't really form her own paradigm necessarily. 0.97

00:20:14.000 She knows enough to discard the bullshit monotheistic paradigm. 0.83

00:20:17.000 She's like, all right, that's not true. 0.97

00:20:18.000 But she hasn't really gone the other way to say, all right, what else can I construct?

00:20:23.000 Now, before she did this ayahuasca trip, did she have any psychedelic experiences?

00:20:27.000 Like a bad acid trip back in college or something like that.

00:20:30.000 So, nothing.

00:20:31.000 Nothing pretty much.

00:20:32.000 Did you talk her into this?

00:20:33.000 Yeah, a little bit.

00:20:34.000 She was a bit nervous about that aspect.

00:20:37.000 How old's your mom? 0.58

00:20:38.000 60-ish, I should probably say.

00:20:42.000 This is so badass.

00:20:43.000 So crazy.

00:20:44.000 They do a really good job when you get down there of explaining every one of the shamans we met.

00:20:49.000 Kind of jumping ahead in the story a bit.

00:20:52.000 Explaining how it's 100% medicine.

00:20:54.000 All of them are like, this is medicine.

00:20:56.000 You don't do this for fun.

00:20:57.000 You do this to cleanse your body, to cleanse your organs, you purge it, and it shows you things.

00:21:02.000 There's a wisdom to it.

00:21:03.000 It's 100% medicine.

00:21:04.000 They get really offended when you call it a drug.

00:21:07.000 To them, it's the medicine.

00:21:08.000 It's the master medicine.

00:21:09.000 Like you said, it's the medicine that they believe has helped them find all other medicines in the jungle.

00:21:15.000 You know, they take the ayahuasca, they go in, and that's how they find their other cures.

00:21:18.000 And all of these shamans, these vegetalistas, ayahuasca is just one part of it, but to them, that's their master sacred medicine. 0.97

00:21:26.000 Ayahuasca is so badass that they don't give a fuck about mushrooms. 1.00

00:21:30.000 Shamans are like, mushrooms, what are you playing with that shit for? 1.00

00:21:32.000 What are you playing with that shit for? 1.00

00:21:33.000 Yeah, you're going to see some crazy Aztec symbols, and you don't need to put that down and have a drink of this. 1.00

00:21:38.000 But you know what they do say?

00:21:40.000 They say, you know, you can't always get ayahuasca, so they recommend that...

00:21:44.000 Mushroom is when Yeah, every two months.

00:21:47.000 They're like, every two months, you better do something.

00:21:49.000 And if you got mushrooms, great.

00:21:50.000 Really?

00:21:51.000 They say every two months you should do something.

00:21:53.000 That's what they say.

00:21:54.000 Because they say you need to hit that reset button, reconnect with the Earth Mother, and that kind of...

00:21:59.000 Which of them is just a representation of the yin side, that kind of nature side. 0.92

00:22:02.000 Every two months.

00:22:04.000 Wow.

00:22:04.000 Let's move to Peru.

00:22:06.000 I've had some DMT experiences that were so intense, I took years off.

00:22:10.000 I was just like, whoa, I need to think about this.

00:22:13.000 But DMT, the orally active version, is much slower and more gradual, and you can kind of tune in and out of it.

00:22:21.000 You can get in the meditative state when it's full-blown, or as it's slipping away, you can get right back in there if you relax and tune into it.

00:22:29.000 It's more malleable. 0.99

00:22:31.000 If you're a warrior, but if it's cracked, if you're cracked, it's going to fucking destroy you. 0.98

00:22:36.000 I'll get into that in the story. 0.97

00:22:38.000 So you have to know who you are.

00:22:40.000 You do. 1.00

00:22:41.000 Before you start fucking with that stuff. 1.00

00:22:42.000 It's heavy. 0.99

00:22:43.000 They call it the vine of death.

00:22:45.000 Vine of the souls, right?

00:22:46.000 Vine of the souls or vine of death.

00:22:48.000 Vine of death, huh?

00:22:48.000 Yeah.

00:22:50.000 Okay, so first night, do they give you a little baby dose and see if everybody...

00:22:54.000 No, so here's how they go.

00:22:56.000 We get in, we get assigned a roommate.

00:22:58.000 I ended up with a lucky one.

00:22:59.000 A roommate?

00:22:59.000 Yeah, we got a roommate.

00:23:00.000 Can you pay extra to have your own tent?

00:23:02.000 Not on this one.

00:23:03.000 They didn't have the room.

00:23:03.000 I'll be like, listen, bro, I'll give you 50 coconuts.

00:23:06.000 Just give me my own fucking tent. 0.99

00:23:09.000 Yeah, for sure. 1.00

00:23:10.000 For sure.

00:23:11.000 I'm that guy.

00:23:12.000 Yeah, so he was cool.

00:23:13.000 He was an old Israeli tank commander.

00:23:14.000 Are there no sweets here?

00:23:16.000 No.

00:23:17.000 He was an old Israeli guy?

00:23:19.000 He was an old Israeli tank commander, like Romanian water polo star.

00:23:22.000 Okay, I might pay to be hanging out with that guy.

00:23:24.000 Yeah, the only other guy that was like, I was like, God, I got lucky. 0.96

00:23:27.000 Like, this was fucking sweet.

00:23:28.000 He was a cool dude. 0.95

00:23:29.000 I'm still in touch with him.

00:23:30.000 But me and him were the most different out of everybody else in the whole group.

00:23:34.000 Everybody else was definitely, you know, not, as I said, not the saltiest bunch you'd want to bring up.

00:23:40.000 Wow.

00:23:40.000 Okay, so do they slowly let you dip your feet in the water?

00:23:44.000 So here it is.

00:23:44.000 You go in and they announce the three shamans.

00:23:47.000 They've flown in the three best shamans in Peru, basically, from different camps, different parts of the jungle.

00:23:52.000 One is local to where they're at.

00:23:54.000 So it's like a battle of the DJs.

00:23:56.000 Yes, exactly.

00:23:56.000 And you choose which one you want to work with.

00:23:58.000 So they announced the first one.

00:23:59.000 A long lineage of what he's done.

00:24:01.000 He integrates some of the Christian saints with some of the ayahuasca work, works with the masculine aspects, has a big bio of all he's accomplished.

00:24:10.000 I was like, all right, whatever, but I'm not really going to be into the mixing of the Christian ideals.

00:24:14.000 Wait for the second guy. 0.76

00:24:16.000 He has his own psychology clinic in the jungle, and he's helped build this hospital and blah, blah, blah.

00:24:22.000 Another big, long thing.

00:24:23.000 He sings these sweet songs.

00:24:24.000 Then they get to the third guy.

00:24:26.000 And the third guy, they say, only say, he's the most traditional and the most terrifying.

00:24:31.000 He calls upon the spirit of the dragon.

00:24:33.000 And that's it.

00:24:33.000 That's all they said.

00:24:34.000 And I was like, that's my guy.

00:24:36.000 That's my guy.

00:24:36.000 That's the one.

00:24:37.000 That's all they said about him?

00:24:39.000 That's all they said about him.

00:24:39.000 See, less is more, people.

00:24:41.000 The Clint Eastwood approach to shamanism.

00:24:44.000 Yeah, exactly.

00:24:45.000 Okay, so is this the first night that you get there?

00:24:48.000 This is the first night.

00:24:48.000 So they go right into it?

00:24:50.000 Right into it.

00:24:50.000 Wow.

00:24:51.000 Okay, so day one.

00:24:52.000 Day one.

00:24:52.000 You pull up in a canoe.

00:24:53.000 What time do you actually get to the camp?

00:24:54.000 Is it noon?

00:24:55.000 About 3.30.

00:24:56.000 3.30 in the afternoon?

00:24:57.000 Do you eat first or no eating?

00:24:58.000 We ate right then at 3.30, but then that's it.

00:25:01.000 No dinner.

00:25:02.000 Right.

00:25:02.000 Because the ceremony starts at 8.30.

00:25:04.000 Okay, so they recommend five hours, that's it, to purge your system?

00:25:07.000 Yeah.

00:25:07.000 I thought it was like they will ask for 12. Yeah.

00:25:10.000 This one, they didn't.

00:25:12.000 But the food that they're serving is jungle food.

00:25:15.000 It's light, it's clean, it's all grown out there.

00:25:18.000 What are you eating?

00:25:18.000 What kind of food?

00:25:20.000 A lot of vegetables, a lot of quinoa.

00:25:22.000 They had some fresh, free-range chicken and a lot of tilapia type of fish.

00:25:28.000 Things like that.

00:25:28.000 Really kind of light.

00:25:29.000 And they're catching everything themselves.

00:25:31.000 Yeah.

00:25:33.000 So you eat, you sit around and just wait for the party to begin?

00:25:37.000 Yeah, I got to know my roommate and kind of wait for it, and then they talk about it a little bit, and then you have a few minutes to kind of gather yourself and get ready for the lunch.

00:25:44.000 And they've been brewing it all day?

00:25:46.000 These guys brought it from their homes, so they brewed it in their homes.

00:25:50.000 So you don't get to watch them?

00:25:52.000 No, they have to boil it, boil one, boil the other, mix it.

00:25:56.000 But each mystro has their own secret, perfect recipe that they've learned from... 0.99

00:26:00.000 I would want to see them cook it because after the movie Altered States, that was one of the trippiest parts when the guy was cooking up the shit. 0.99

00:26:06.000 I want to see him cook it. 1.00

00:26:07.000 You can't just pull it out of a fucking Tupperware container for me, man. 0.99

00:26:10.000 I want to see you cook it. 0.99

00:26:11.000 Actually, there's a video I posted on my blog kind of midway down on warriorpoet.us that has actually the maestro that I work with and it shows some pictures of them boiling it with the big sticks.

00:26:21.000 And it has like a big cast iron Yeah, big pots.

00:26:24.000 Two different pots brewing side by side.

00:26:27.000 One with the leaf, I think, and one with the vine.

00:26:29.000 And it takes a long-ass time, right?

00:26:30.000 Yeah, it's not quick.

00:26:31.000 It takes like 10 hours or something to make?

00:26:33.000 Not quick.

00:26:34.000 Okay, so they sit you down.

00:26:36.000 How do they determine the dosage?

00:26:38.000 Well, it's an eyeball test from the shaman.

00:26:40.000 So we walk in.

00:26:41.000 I have by far the fewest people with our group because people were scared of the dragon.

00:26:46.000 So I had like 10 people.

00:26:48.000 So we're going to a small hut in the secluded part of the jungle.

00:26:51.000 So a long walk.

00:26:52.000 My fearless compatriots were kind of laughing and joking around.

00:26:56.000 And I felt confident, but I was very calm.

00:26:58.000 I knew I was going into some pretty intense work.

00:27:01.000 So we get in there, and then they do some of the opening ceremony type of stuff.

00:27:11.000 So all of us are faced like spokes of a wheel towards the center of the room and we all have a puke bucket kind of near us because you know most people purge during this process it's part of the healing process and then he calls us up one by one kind of looks you know looks at you assesses and then pours a coconut pours the ayahuasca in like a polished coconut husk and you drink And it is thick and bitter and just tastes like earth and fire.

00:27:42.000 It's tough.

00:27:43.000 I mean, it's tough to go down.

00:27:45.000 I mean, it's very thick.

00:27:47.000 Did everyone drink it?

00:27:48.000 Did anybody?

00:27:49.000 Everyone did.

00:27:49.000 Once you're in the ceremony, you've got to drink.

00:27:51.000 No.

00:27:51.000 No observers.

00:27:52.000 No peeping toms on the action there.

00:27:54.000 Does the shaman get in as well?

00:27:56.000 He does.

00:27:57.000 But he drinks kind of steadily throughout the thing.

00:28:01.000 He's kind of always drinking.

00:28:03.000 Because that's how he creates his world that he's doing.

00:28:08.000 So by creating his world, he's not just concocting the formula.

00:28:13.000 He's also beating a drum and blowing tobacco smoke.

00:28:18.000 And what is he doing?

00:28:19.000 Yeah, so what he, you know, 30 minutes, it was just silence in there.

00:28:23.000 And then he starts what's called his Icaros.

00:28:25.000 And the Icaros are his songs.

00:28:26.000 And the songs that, you know, was taught to him by his grandfather, who, you know, they trace it back grandfather to father.

00:28:33.000 What does it sound like?

00:28:34.000 Oh, man, I couldn't do it.

00:28:36.000 Duncan Trussell rolling down a hill.

00:28:37.000 Let's pull one up.

00:28:38.000 Can we pull one up or can we play audio on that?

00:28:40.000 Yeah, I mean, it's...

00:28:41.000 What should I search for?

00:28:44.000 Icaros.

00:28:44.000 How do you spell Icaros?

00:28:46.000 I-C-A-R-O-S. Ayahuasca Icaros.

00:28:49.000 Yeah.

00:28:50.000 You know how to spell ayahuasca?

00:28:53.000 A-Y-A-H-U-A-S-E-A. Yeah, I want to hear some of that shit. 1.00

00:28:58.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah. 1.00

00:28:58.000 Yeah, hold on a second. 1.00

00:28:59.000 Get one of those and we'll play it on the background while he's talking. 0.99

00:29:02.000 It'll be trippy as fuck. 0.97

00:29:04.000 So, this cat has his own separate Icarus and the other two gentlemen have their own. 0.97

00:29:10.000 Yeah.

00:29:10.000 And they have female shamans as well, right?

00:29:14.000 Not here.

00:29:15.000 They do, but the ayahuasqueros and the vegetalistas, it's kind of a very paternalistic kind of heritage.

00:29:21.000 But it's not completely a male-dominated thing.

00:29:23.000 No, not at all.

00:29:23.000 It's not like priests, right?

00:29:25.000 No, no.

00:29:25.000 Women can be shaman.

00:29:26.000 They worship higher than anything as the earth mother.

00:29:29.000 So it just happens to seem that the men...

00:29:32.000 We're the maestros in this case.

00:29:34.000 There's female shamans for sure. 1.00

00:29:36.000 They call them doñas maestras.

00:29:39.000 There was actually one in the group, but she wasn't an ayahuasquero necessarily.

00:29:43.000 She was just a more general shaman.

00:29:46.000 But she was smart too, and she was strong.

00:29:49.000 You got something there, dude?

00:29:50.000 What are you doing?

00:29:51.000 Would that be it?

00:29:54.000 Oh, let's hear it.

00:29:56.000 There's too many instruments in there, obviously, but they use just like a whistle in their voice.

00:30:01.000 It's like...

00:30:04.000 Did you look up Icaros?

00:30:06.000 That's just Ayahuasca.

00:30:08.000 Put it that.

00:30:10.000 Press, you know, enter. 1.00

00:30:13.000 Copy that shit. 0.99

00:30:15.000 And then write Icaros. 1.00

00:30:17.000 I-C-A-R-O-S. Is that it? 0.99

00:30:22.000 I-C-A-R-O-S? I-C-A-R-O-S, yeah. 1.00

00:30:25.000 Let me hear some craziness.

00:30:30.000 What? 1.00

00:30:31.000 This is fucking... 1.00

00:30:32.000 John Tesh presents... 1.00

00:30:34.000 Live from Peru.

00:30:37.000 John Tesh.

00:30:38.000 Kenny G playing back. 0.99

00:30:39.000 Maybe it was Icarus over that shitty music. 0.99

00:30:43.000 Yeah. 0.98

00:30:43.000 Here's another one. 0.98

00:30:45.000 Sounds more like it.

00:30:50.000 That's legit. 1.00

00:30:52.000 That bitch is in the jungle right now. 1.00

00:30:56.000 My guy didn't sound like that. 1.00

00:30:59.000 He was a lot more kind of masculine.

00:31:02.000 Yeah, that's it.

00:31:03.000 So he only has, his tools are, he has his breath, which he uses more than anything, and then he has a kind of a branch with a bunch of leaves that he uses as sort of like a rattle, and those are his tools in his voice, in his whistling.

00:31:18.000 And he also has some cinnamon sticks, which he chews at the end, but I'll get to that.

00:31:24.000 This is tripping me out.

00:31:25.000 They're putting me back in.

00:31:26.000 This is perfect.

00:31:27.000 I like it.

00:31:28.000 I'm getting back there.

00:31:30.000 You're going to change your name back to Chris.

00:31:34.000 Okay, so how long does it take?

00:31:37.000 About 45 minutes you start to feel people rustling.

00:31:39.000 30 to 45 minutes.

00:31:40.000 It's hard.

00:31:41.000 I mean, it's cave dark.

00:31:42.000 You don't have a perfect perception of time.

00:31:44.000 About 30 to 45 minutes, people start to rustle.

00:31:46.000 It starts to activate.

00:31:47.000 How big is this tent?

00:31:50.000 Probably 20 foot in diameter.

00:31:52.000 So it's tight.

00:31:53.000 Tight quarters for 10 people.

00:31:54.000 So it starts going and you start to get that energetic activation, same as you do on mushrooms or something, where you know Something's about to happen.

00:32:02.000 Your closed-eyed visuals start to splash with color and light and things like that.

00:32:07.000 Your stomach starts to gurgle a little bit.

00:32:10.000 So that was happening, and he started his Icarus.

00:32:12.000 Starts slowly, kind of like it is now, whistling and building, building.

00:32:17.000 And then, in about an hour, you hear the first person just retch, like...

00:32:23.000 And it's not like just a gentle bulimic-style vomit.

00:32:26.000 This is like years of rot just pouring out of every organ that they have.

00:32:31.000 And they're half yelling, half puking when they do it.

00:32:35.000 I mean, it's like...

00:32:37.000 So it's not just the medicine coming up.

00:32:40.000 There's like a sacrifice or expelling.

00:32:46.000 Yeah, you feel like squeezing vial and things out of your organs.

00:32:48.000 I didn't puke until the second paradigm shifting session, but it either goes out, you vomit, or it finds another mode of evacuation.

00:32:57.000 But you can feel it working on your side. 0.95

00:32:59.000 So a lot of people shit themselves too? 0.99

00:33:00.000 Is that what you're saying? 0.99

00:33:01.000 It wouldn't be, yeah. 0.99

00:33:03.000 Did they get out of the tent or did they just shit themselves right there in the tent? 0.99

00:33:06.000 Did you poop on the Israeli guy? 0.93

00:33:08.000 He was in a different session actually that time, so I wasn't there.

00:33:11.000 But anyway, so the first people start to purge.

00:33:14.000 Okay. 0.96

00:33:14.000 And then pretty soon after that- You smell farts. 0.96

00:33:18.000 Yeah.

00:33:18.000 It was just chaos erupted in the room.

00:33:21.000 Like all my companions, like one of the ladies just turned into a blithering child. 1.00

00:33:26.000 Like, help me, help me, help me.

00:33:28.000 Another person started pretending that he could sing the Ikros, but it was like a kid that thinks he knows the words to a song.

00:33:33.000 She was like two beats off and it was awful.

00:33:36.000 And then another lady completely lost her internal monologue. 1.00

00:33:39.000 And this culminated throughout the night and her finally saying, I can't tell if I shit my pants or if I didn't shit my pants, like over and over again. 0.97

00:33:48.000 And I was like, oh my God. 0.91

00:33:50.000 You know, I mean, this is, so people, I mean, people who weren't ready cracked, you know, bad.

00:33:55.000 I mean, that wasn't, that's not the experience you're supposed to get.

00:33:57.000 You're supposed to keep it to yourself, follow through.

00:33:59.000 Did it interfere with your thoughts though?

00:34:01.000 It almost threw you off?

00:34:02.000 It did a little bit.

00:34:03.000 I think I would start freaking out.

00:34:03.000 But it was too powerful.

00:34:05.000 It would be annoying.

00:34:06.000 Right.

00:34:06.000 So that part, that part was rough in this first, in this first session.

00:34:10.000 And then, you know, right as I'm starting to get, you know, get some serious visions, lady next to me, and I like shuddered and she puked all over my socks. 1.00

00:34:19.000 So they pitch black and I'm peeling off the wet chunky wool from my feet and put them on the side and just curl back up on my mat.

00:34:26.000 No way to clean it. 0.99

00:34:27.000 Fucking pitch black in the middle of ceremony starting to trip balls. 0.99

00:34:31.000 So that was that was the start of it. 0.99

00:34:33.000 And it's kind of signatory for the way the rest of the night went because it was intense and dark.

00:34:39.000 And, you know, what started happening is Snakes started coming in through the jungle.

00:34:46.000 I had visions of snakes and they would look at me and then immediately start savagely going inside my body and eating my organs, eating my throat, going down my throat and eating their way out and exploding through my body.

00:34:58.000 And I know enough from psychedelic experiences to just witness and allow and just let it happen. 1.00

00:35:03.000 Because if you try and fight it, you're fucked. 1.00

00:35:06.000 You can't. 0.99

00:35:06.000 That is the number one reason why people have bad trips. 0.99

00:35:10.000 They try to control the experience.

00:35:12.000 But did you think these snakes were real?

00:35:14.000 Or did you know they were kind of like, oh, these are ghost snakes?

00:35:16.000 I was cool with this at this point.

00:35:18.000 And then it switched.

00:35:19.000 What?

00:35:19.000 Yeah.

00:35:20.000 You were cool with this thing blasting through your body?

00:35:22.000 I kind of knew that the vine and death was going to take me there.

00:35:25.000 I had a feeling like it was going to go.

00:35:26.000 Okay, well, explain these snakes.

00:35:27.000 Do they look like real snakes?

00:35:28.000 Or do you know? 1.00

00:35:29.000 Were you really like, that's a fucking real snake. 0.99

00:35:31.000 I'm actually getting eaten by a jungle snake right now. 0.98

00:35:33.000 No, they were a bit ephemeral.

00:35:36.000 They would change too much in color.

00:35:37.000 The way that they would come was not necessarily slithering on the ground.

00:35:41.000 They were coming from the air.

00:35:43.000 They all had top hats on.

00:35:44.000 What did they look like?

00:35:46.000 A lot of them were kind of white.

00:35:48.000 They looked actually more like boas or like anacondas, not as much like domestic snakes that we'd find out here.

00:35:54.000 But they had that kind of jungle pattern.

00:35:57.000 The colors were off.

00:35:58.000 They were either too colorful or they're white.

00:36:02.000 They weren't like jungle colors, but they were that shape and that size of these things.

00:36:07.000 Sort of like you're tuning into it, but not totally correctly.

00:36:11.000 Like as if you're on a station and the colors are all off and the cop outfit is white instead of blue.

00:36:19.000 And the skin is blue instead of white. 0.92

00:36:22.000 Yeah, exactly.

00:36:23.000 So that was going on.

00:36:25.000 And then after I got used to that, then it switched.

00:36:28.000 And I kept sliding down these vines of thorns that were just ripping me up to pieces again.

00:36:34.000 All of these images were just total destruction of the flesh.

00:36:37.000 And are you feeling anything while this is happening?

00:36:40.000 No.

00:36:40.000 You're kind of a passive observer of your body.

00:36:43.000 So are you seeing it in a third person?

00:36:45.000 Are you outside of your body?

00:36:46.000 Yeah.

00:36:46.000 About two feet outside of your body as you're watching this happen to you.

00:36:51.000 You're like looking down on it?

00:36:53.000 Yeah, kind of like, you know, up here on your shoulder a bit.

00:36:55.000 And just destruction.

00:36:57.000 Destruction.

00:36:57.000 And I was, you know, I remember thinking to myself, because I was naked when this was happening.

00:37:01.000 I was like, why did I have to be naked in this thing?

00:37:04.000 But that's just the way it was.

00:37:05.000 It was just me, naked, flesh, just getting torn, sliding down his mind.

00:37:09.000 And what are you seeing?

00:37:10.000 Are you seeing blood and injuries?

00:37:13.000 Yeah, you do.

00:37:14.000 You see it all.

00:37:15.000 I mean, just liquid pouring out of your body.

00:37:17.000 It's just...

00:37:18.000 Complete destruction of the physical form.

00:37:20.000 And then from there, insects would burrow into my body and explode and spiders and things would go.

00:37:27.000 And really, that was not so bad, actually.

00:37:32.000 That was kind of the good part. 1.00

00:37:33.000 But what ayahuasca will do is it will find your own weaknesses and then use them to fuck with you. 0.99

00:37:38.000 It's like when you're at the final level of a video game and it's like, no, you must fight yourself. 0.99

00:37:43.000 That's what it felt like.

00:37:44.000 So it started preying on my own fears.

00:37:46.000 And I heard a voice telling me exactly what I was scared of, which is some illness.

00:37:51.000 My family's had some lymphoma issues or something like that.

00:37:54.000 So it basically said, you're going to die of cancer.

00:37:57.000 Say your goodbyes. 1.00

00:37:58.000 You're fucking done. 1.00

00:37:58.000 You got it now. 1.00

00:37:59.000 It's bad.

00:38:00.000 And it was telling me that.

00:38:02.000 And that actually started to shake me a little bit.

00:38:04.000 Because I've never had it myself work against me in that kind of magnitude.

00:38:11.000 I've had visions of things before that were dark and I always worked through and I ended up feeling good.

00:38:17.000 That was a more challenging experience.

00:38:19.000 And then at a certain point, you know, I had to just apply the same philosophy and say, you know what, if this is the end, I'm going to have a fucking hell of a six months, you know, and I'm going to do everything I can and enjoy my life.

00:38:31.000 And then boom, that ended.

00:38:33.000 And then finally at that point I was able to get a sense of peace and I felt myself getting sucked back down into the earth.

00:38:40.000 Kind of like in the, the only thing I can describe is that movie Avatar.

00:38:43.000 You know when the little fibers grow up around the body and it like connects it back down to the earth.

00:38:48.000 I felt this deep relaxation just like right back down into the earth.

00:38:53.000 And then you know that was kind of the end.

00:38:57.000 That was the climax of this first experience for me.

00:39:00.000 Did you get a sense that it was a purposeful trip? 0.89

00:39:03.000 That the reason why it takes you on this destruction of your body and the snakes and everything like that, is it supposed to scare the fuck out of you to break you down? 0.97

00:39:12.000 It's supposed to. 0.81

00:39:13.000 It's a death-rebirth motif, really, is what it is.

00:39:16.000 And, you know, that was the idea of the medicine in the night.

00:39:19.000 Each night the medicine had a theme.

00:39:21.000 And the first night it was anaconda medicine, snake medicine, which is shedding your skin in one piece.

00:39:26.000 So like a snake does.

00:39:27.000 A snake sheds his skin all in one piece.

00:39:28.000 This was about shedding everything that you don't need.

00:39:31.000 Your fears, your weaknesses, all of that.

00:39:34.000 And that's why you explore it.

00:39:35.000 And I think part of the intent of what the shaman was doing, which meanwhile, by the way, is Icaros were growing in intensity and it was like the room was swirling with a voice.

00:39:43.000 Does he have a CD, like a mixtape?

00:39:44.000 I would love to see that.

00:39:45.000 He has a YouTube video, which I posted.

00:39:47.000 I bought some.

00:39:47.000 I bought some Icaros online once and I listened to it for five minutes.

00:39:51.000 I wasn't high enough and I shut it off.

00:39:53.000 Yeah, yeah.

00:39:55.000 He has a website?

00:39:56.000 He does.

00:39:57.000 He has a YouTube video.

00:39:58.000 Does he have a website?

00:39:59.000 What's his website?

00:40:00.000 Oh man, I couldn't tell.

00:40:02.000 It's in Spanish, you know, so I can't recall.

00:40:04.000 What's his name?

00:40:05.000 Maestro Orlando Chuhandama.

00:40:11.000 How do you spell the last name?

00:40:12.000 C-U-H. C-H-U, sorry. 0.98

00:40:14.000 C-H-U? J-A-N. J-A-N. D-A-M-A. And it's also, Brian, if you bring it up on my blog, you can probably get the direct link. 1.00

00:40:22.000 Discovery of the Eight Dimension.

00:40:24.000 Yeah, that's me.

00:40:26.000 That's me.

00:40:26.000 That is you.

00:40:27.000 Yeah.

00:40:27.000 Is this a video that you made?

00:40:29.000 That was a video I made.

00:40:30.000 I'll tell you about that.

00:40:31.000 That was my second trip.

00:40:32.000 Oh, this is while you were in there?

00:40:33.000 Oh, dude, you have video?

00:40:34.000 Yeah.

00:40:35.000 Okay, go to Warrior Poet US on YouTube and check out this video.

00:40:40.000 That's hilarious.

00:40:41.000 You're the number one hit on this guy's name. 1.00

00:40:45.000 It's you in the tent tripping your balls off. 0.99

00:40:47.000 Yeah, this is the second session. 0.99

00:40:49.000 Wow, you look terrified.

00:40:51.000 It takes me a while to get into it.

00:40:56.000 Don't jump to that video until I get to the part of the story.

00:40:58.000 Let's not play that video. 1.00

00:40:59.000 I want to hear all this shit. 0.99

00:41:02.000 So that first experience, so after he comes by, the shaman comes by, he asks me, you know, I say, you know, I managed to muster something like, I told him I was dead, good and dead, and he just laughed and kind of, that was, I think, when we He started to give me a little bit of respect because the rest of the room was just crushed. 0.99

00:41:24.000 I was crushed too, but at least I was able to sit up and deal with it a little bit.

00:41:32.000 He brings me over to where he's at.

00:41:36.000 He starts chewing up some cinnamon, and it's the final closing ceremony, the cleansing ritual.

00:41:40.000 And he has me open the back of my shirt, and he goes, shoo, with the cinnamon.

00:41:45.000 And the instant he did that, it was like I was on a bungee cord.

00:41:49.000 And this is six hours after I'd taken it.

00:41:51.000 You know, the peak of my trip was completely done.

00:41:54.000 And I just went, whew.

00:41:56.000 Straight up and right into this world of just pure energetic vibration that I had no idea how to decode.

00:42:02.000 It was something completely foreign to anything I've ever seen.

00:42:06.000 What did he do with the cinnamon?

00:42:07.000 So he chews it up.

00:42:08.000 He's like cinnamon sticks, dried cinnamon.

00:42:10.000 Right.

00:42:10.000 And then he blows his breath.

00:42:12.000 He goes...

00:42:13.000 And forms like a little sonic missile thing.

00:42:16.000 And he points it at different parts of your, like the back of your neck, the top of your head.

00:42:21.000 So he did it four times.

00:42:22.000 And each time he did it, I had like 10 seconds swimming in this world that just I had no possible chance to decode.

00:42:30.000 And it was unbelievable.

00:42:31.000 I was like, what the hell is this?

00:42:33.000 Where am I? How do I understand it?

00:42:35.000 What does it mean?

00:42:37.000 Like the YouTube video.

00:42:38.000 But it was wild on that closing part of the ceremony.

00:42:42.000 So what did it mean?

00:42:44.000 You can't decode it.

00:42:45.000 Can you describe it?

00:42:46.000 It was like a geometrical city of light and vibration.

00:42:50.000 But it was like looking at...

00:42:52.000 Imagine if you didn't know anything about computer code and you looked at the matrix, right?

00:42:55.000 And all you saw were ones and zeros.

00:42:57.000 Right now we know, oh, that's computer code.

00:42:59.000 It's source code.

00:43:00.000 It was like that kind of information was coming to me.

00:43:03.000 Well that sounds like a DMT trip.

00:43:05.000 Yeah.

00:43:06.000 So you have a flash.

00:43:07.000 You have a DMT flash.

00:43:08.000 So like in deep into another...

00:43:10.000 And he's blowing cinnamon on you and that's what causes that?

00:43:13.000 Yeah, I don't know if the cinnamon's just to make his breath pleasant and it's his intent or whether it actually has some part of it.

00:43:19.000 Or it's to distract you while some guy has a needle in the back of your neck that's just jamming it.

00:43:24.000 Or he lobotomizes it.

00:43:25.000 No, but it was, you know, whatever he did in that closing part of it, I felt like it opened a breach in something else, a different place.

00:43:32.000 For 10 seconds? 0.97

00:43:33.000 For 10 seconds, then sucked back. 0.97

00:43:34.000 As soon as that was over, I was right back. 0.95

00:43:37.000 You know, it wouldn't last.

00:43:37.000 Okay, so this is day one.

00:43:39.000 Day one.

00:43:39.000 So then do you get up in the morning?

00:43:42.000 Do you go to bed?

00:43:43.000 Go to bed, yeah.

00:43:44.000 Do you wash off?

00:43:45.000 Do you puke?

00:43:45.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:43:46.000 So I went, you know, took care of everything in the dark of my hut.

00:43:50.000 In the dark?

00:43:51.000 Yeah, cold and dark, yeah.

00:43:53.000 There's no light at all?

00:43:54.000 No light at all.

00:43:55.000 No candles?

00:43:55.000 No, we're using our phones and flashlights.

00:43:58.000 Do you have a charger for your phone?

00:44:00.000 Three hours a day.

00:44:02.000 You can charge it for three hours a day.

00:44:04.000 So you're using your phone as a little flashlight.

00:44:05.000 But you don't get any service.

00:44:06.000 It's just a flashlight.

00:44:07.000 A little flashlight.

00:44:08.000 Expensive iPhone flashlight.

00:44:09.000 All right.

00:44:10.000 So you wash yourself off.

00:44:12.000 Yeah.

00:44:12.000 Crash out.

00:44:13.000 And can you sleep?

00:44:14.000 I did.

00:44:14.000 Yeah.

00:44:15.000 Are you fucking freaking out while you're sleeping or you slept good? 0.99

00:44:18.000 I felt pretty good. 1.00

00:44:19.000 You know, after that final thing where I was able to relax and felt sucked back into the earth, I felt good.

00:44:24.000 You know, I felt like I'd learned the de-importance of the physical realm.

00:44:28.000 You know, I mean, seeing my body destroyed.

00:44:30.000 Breakfast, did people apologize for throwing up on each other?

00:44:33.000 Yeah, some people were still pretty shook.

00:44:36.000 The people in my group were pretty shook.

00:44:38.000 A lot of them didn't go back.

00:44:39.000 Some of them didn't do it again.

00:44:40.000 Really?

00:44:41.000 Yeah.

00:44:42.000 I mean, they fought it.

00:44:44.000 They fought the whole time.

00:44:45.000 And if you fight the whole time, you never release from it.

00:44:48.000 You don't work through it.

00:44:49.000 It's like you get brought to the heat of the battle, and then you just ignore it and shut your eyes, and it goes away, but it sticks with you.

00:44:56.000 And that's one thing that...

00:44:58.000 A caution for doing any kind of psychedelic work.

00:45:01.000 Did your mom enjoy it?

00:45:02.000 You've got to work through it.

00:45:03.000 So for her, she just had very repetitive visions.

00:45:08.000 I was surprised that it didn't take her deeper, but she was working with some of the lighter doses and the lighter shamans.

00:45:15.000 And they could tell that the way that they dose you is pretty smart, usually.

00:45:19.000 They try and dose you to what they think you can handle.

00:45:23.000 But she was great.

00:45:24.000 She was doing great.

00:45:24.000 It seems to me that just jumping right into an ayahuasca trip without any previous psychedelic experience is like taking no martial arts classes and fighting in the UFC. It just seems ridiculous.

00:45:36.000 Wouldn't you want to build your way up slowly, smoke some salvia, eat a brownie, slowly dip your legs into the river that is the psychedelic experience?

00:45:45.000 Because the ayahuasca experience and the DMT experience is supposed to be the two most powerful that you can ever have back to back.

00:45:52.000 One being a bit more on the spiritual side, the ayahuasca.

00:45:56.000 Supposedly because it's longer and not as intense, it sort of connects you in a way that you can interpret better than the DMT flash.

00:46:05.000 The DMT flash a lot of times is so mind-bogglingly alien that There's no words for it.

00:46:13.000 You come back with a lot of confusion.

00:46:15.000 There's some message in it somewhere, but it takes a while to decode.

00:46:18.000 I talk to them about smoking DMT as well, and I'll get to that when I get...

00:46:21.000 I kind of have to set up kind of the paradigm first, and then I'll tell you what they said about smoking DMT versus taking ayahuasca.

00:46:27.000 So did you go right back in the second day?

00:46:29.000 Second day, no.

00:46:30.000 Second day, I just rested, wrote in my journal, made sure to kind of digest what I'd gone through. 0.96

00:46:35.000 It's very energetically taxing, but I felt fucking great.

00:46:39.000 I felt reborn, energetic. 0.94

00:46:41.000 I slept five hours and I was just pumped.

00:46:44.000 I got a good workout in and I felt more alive than I have been in a long time.

00:46:48.000 It was rad.

00:46:49.000 My body felt great.

00:46:51.000 My mind felt great.

00:46:52.000 My spirit felt great.

00:46:53.000 I felt like I learned some valuable lessons about You know the importance of the physical realm and I feel like I conquered some deep fears about cancer and shit that was going on like it was it like I'm not worried about that anymore like it took me there to overcome it and you know really that first night for me was you know I call it my death it was like the old parts of me that night died you know anything weak was killed off by the ayahuasca But it's funny, you said that, you know, the UFC analogy.

00:47:21.000 I wrote in my blog, it was like I was kind of with a bunch of karate black belts.

00:47:26.000 And, you know, they took ayahuasca and just got punched in the face.

00:47:29.000 They were like, what the hell is going on here?

00:47:32.000 You know, they didn't really, you know, they had the training.

00:47:34.000 But it's different when you're in a street fight, you know, and that's...

00:47:37.000 That's kind of what it was.

00:47:38.000 I didn't have the training, but I've been in a few brawls in my day.

00:47:41.000 So I think that that ends up being a bit more important as far as being able to handle the experience.

00:47:47.000 But then, you know, at another point, the second night, I wish I did have some of their training because I got an opportunity To do some cool shit, but I just didn't know what to do.

00:47:56.000 What happened? 0.54

00:47:57.000 That's the second session.

00:47:59.000 This is the third day.

00:48:01.000 Slightly more comfortable room.

00:48:03.000 The people from the first session, a lot of them ducked out, but there was new people who wanted a strong experience, so his legend started to spread in the camp.

00:48:11.000 So we had a few more people, probably 15. And I went up to him beforehand and I said, you know, Maestro, I said, Medicina Fuerte, like I wanted a strong dose.

00:48:21.000 And he looks at me and he smiled and he remembered that I handled the last one pretty well.

00:48:25.000 So when it was my turn to go up, he fills the cup to the brim, like to the brim.

00:48:29.000 And, you know, I look at it and set my intent.

00:48:32.000 And my intent was to See how far I could go.

00:48:35.000 Like, I wanted to go back to that place he showed me at the end of the session, and I wanted to experience joy and happiness in that side of life, the opposite side, and just see where it could take me.

00:48:44.000 And that was really my goal in doing that.

00:48:46.000 And I picked up some tips from some of the other shamans about how to set kind of your own spiritual armor and kind of prevent things from interfering and taking you off your intent.

00:48:55.000 So I was like, I felt well equipped.

00:48:57.000 Drank the full cup, three gulps, pretty brutal again.

00:49:00.000 And then it starts.

00:49:03.000 And it starts, you know, kind of similarly, as usual.

00:49:07.000 You know, an hour in, visions, things that I remember.

00:49:10.000 You know, kind of like most psychedelic trips are like, ah, I got to remember that.

00:49:13.000 That's a good lesson.

00:49:14.000 You know, take little gems from the visions you see, things like that.

00:49:18.000 At some point, some eels came out of the water, and they started coming after me, and it was much like the snakes.

00:49:23.000 And I looked at the eels, and I was able to kind of mentally stop them with the armor, which is a trick, you know, opening your witter kocha, it's called.

00:49:32.000 And I was like, ah, sweet, they stopped.

00:49:34.000 I was like, what's up, eels?

00:49:36.000 This is not the day for killing me.

00:49:37.000 And I just told them that.

00:49:39.000 And they looked at me, and they're like, yeah, okay, I'll believe you.

00:49:42.000 And just bounced.

00:49:43.000 And I was like, sweet.

00:49:45.000 I'm not going to die today.

00:49:46.000 That's awesome.

00:49:47.000 So they leave, and what does it leave you with?

00:49:49.000 Where are you?

00:49:50.000 Yeah, so then from there, Then from there, that's when things got started to get crazy.

00:49:57.000 Like immediately the sensation of my head just peeling off the top of my head happens. 0.98

00:50:03.000 And Joe, I've been in fucking a lot of situations and done some shit. 0.99

00:50:06.000 Nothing, nothing, nothing. 0.99

00:50:08.000 Could compare to how this felt.

00:50:09.000 It felt like every cell and neuron in my brain was completely synced in perfect alignment and glowing radioactive and I had no top of my head on.

00:50:19.000 It was like, wow, wow.

00:50:21.000 I mean, it was unbelievable.

00:50:23.000 Real.

00:50:24.000 As foreign to me as any sensation.

00:50:26.000 And it was a physical sensation.

00:50:27.000 It wasn't a mental sensation.

00:50:28.000 I could physically feel my brain alive, back from my brain stem all the way to the frontal lobe.

00:50:35.000 Every part of it was full. 0.99

00:50:37.000 And I was like, oh shit, something's happening here. 0.99

00:50:40.000 This is new. 0.99

00:50:41.000 This is a new ballgame right now.

00:50:43.000 And what happened from then? 0.84

00:50:46.000 Right after that happened, you know, I started to feel really fucking good, like really good.

00:50:53.000 And I was looking around the room and people were vomiting and lots of, you know, chaos had started around the room. 0.77

00:50:59.000 But I felt it all as like a...

00:51:01.000 Kind of like just a cleanse you know like I had a different perspective on it so each one would bring me more like happiness until finally it reached this ecstatic state which was about 10 minutes of just pure straight ecstasy like every cell of my body felt better than it ever had Before.

00:51:19.000 It was like the exact reason why we were given physical forms was to experience some kind of pleasure like this.

00:51:25.000 The only thing I compare it to, and every time I make this analogy, people ask if I nutted my pants, which I didn't, but it felt like that moment of orgasm stretched for like five minutes, ten minutes.

00:51:36.000 Like I didn't know whether to yell.

00:51:37.000 It was like so crazy, intensely, bodily good to feel that.

00:51:42.000 And then, you know, so I experienced that and that was rad.

00:51:45.000 I was like, That would have been enough right there.

00:51:48.000 But then it just continued to build.

00:51:50.000 And so what happened next is this giant organic flotilla of snakes and feathers comes, kind of like an organic mothership comes.

00:51:58.000 And it hovers over my head.

00:52:00.000 And this is full open-eyed visuals, right?

00:52:03.000 How big is this?

00:52:04.000 Oh man, it was probably 30 yards, 40 yards big.

00:52:09.000 30 yards?

00:52:10.000 Yeah, it was big.

00:52:11.000 It was a massive...

00:52:12.000 It's feathers and snakes?

00:52:14.000 Feathers and snakes and it's living.

00:52:16.000 It's like a living mothership, right?

00:52:18.000 And it starts sucking black smoke out of my body and I see it coming out.

00:52:22.000 I was like, oh...

00:52:24.000 Well, I guess I didn't need that.

00:52:26.000 I was like, okay, take it.

00:52:27.000 You know, like, cool.

00:52:29.000 And it didn't have any physical sensation, but I could see it, like, coming out of my body.

00:52:33.000 It came out of my throat, came out of my head, came out of, you know, different parts.

00:52:37.000 I guess you could correspond them to the chakras where they were coming out, but just peeling out of my body, I was like, whoa. 0.61

00:52:43.000 That's pretty cool.

00:52:44.000 And then it just floats off when the smoke started to die off.

00:52:47.000 And then right on its heels, another mothership comes.

00:52:50.000 And this mothership is metallic, and it has all kinds of crazy cryptic writing on it, like Stargate, SGI type of writing.

00:52:57.000 That's the only thing I can compare it to.

00:52:58.000 And your eyes are open when you're seeing this.

00:53:00.000 Yeah, fully.

00:53:01.000 And how does it look real?

00:53:04.000 Can you see through it?

00:53:05.000 Does it look like an illusion?

00:53:06.000 Yeah.

00:53:08.000 No, you can't see through it.

00:53:09.000 I couldn't see anything else, really, honestly.

00:53:12.000 It was black around it.

00:53:13.000 My memory of it is that I could just see that, and that was it. 0.99

00:53:17.000 I think if I tried to focus back on my own reality, I could see some shit in the room. 0.98

00:53:23.000 But then, that's all I could see. 0.99

00:53:25.000 It was black, and it was a ship.

00:53:27.000 And that was the only thing I was focused on.

00:53:29.000 So it looked like an alien spacecraft.

00:53:31.000 Independence Day style.

00:53:32.000 Fully.

00:53:32.000 Yeah, exactly.

00:53:33.000 Very much like that.

00:53:34.000 Very much like a ship.

00:53:35.000 Not quite that big.

00:53:36.000 And there's writing on it?

00:53:38.000 Something.

00:53:38.000 It wasn't just smooth.

00:53:40.000 You know what I mean?

00:53:40.000 It wasn't like a smooth thing.

00:53:42.000 It was either writing or a very cool design.

00:53:45.000 I don't know.

00:53:46.000 I mean, I had no hope to read it or anything.

00:53:49.000 And then it starts shooting this light at me.

00:53:52.000 And this was one of the craziest things.

00:53:53.000 As soon as the light comes, I lift my head up like this.

00:53:58.000 And open, like, put my tongue on the roof of my mouth, and the light starts coming in underneath my tongue.

00:54:04.000 And I don't know why I did that.

00:54:06.000 I have no fucking clue why I did that, but I did it, and that's what I needed to do.

00:54:10.000 And I just started doing it. 0.96

00:54:11.000 I was, like, breathing in this light.

00:54:13.000 It was like I was getting uploaded some kind of information.

00:54:17.000 Again, no physical sensation, but I'm just...

00:54:22.000 Just breathing in this white light that's being uploaded into me. 0.96

00:54:27.000 And then I was like, whoa, this is fucking crazy.

00:54:30.000 And I couldn't believe that I knew that that was what I was supposed to do, but I just did it. 0.93

00:54:35.000 And then the light stops, boom, retracts, ship goes away.

00:54:39.000 And then at that point, everything just blew out.

00:54:44.000 I saw the room again, and then the room just goes poof.

00:54:47.000 Blows out into infinity and just complete infinity around me.

00:54:51.000 Now, there's a couple things in infinity.

00:54:53.000 There's the shaman who's like jutted out on a precipice who's going pretty hard with his Icarus now.

00:54:58.000 And then there's like some terraforma.

00:55:00.000 What was it sound like?

00:55:01.000 Oh, man.

00:55:02.000 And if you listen to his video, he sings it a little bit, but I wish I could get you some.

00:55:07.000 But it's...

00:55:08.000 Are there words or is it just noises?

00:55:18.000 Sometimes there is.

00:55:19.000 Sometimes they'll sing some things like that.

00:55:26.000 So that's kind of a flavor.

00:55:28.000 Obviously, I have a terrible voice.

00:55:29.000 He didn't have a great voice either, but it was powerful.

00:55:32.000 You know what I mean?

00:55:32.000 It's not like he was a singer.

00:55:34.000 It was just coming out.

00:55:35.000 And he was shaking his leaves.

00:55:37.000 But he's jutted up on this precipice.

00:55:39.000 And that was at 3 o'clock in my line of vision.

00:55:42.000 9 o'clock there's some kind of terraforma and kind of universal stars and but it was like boom like everything everything else was completely gone everything else I could see kind of vague outlines in white light you just got a software update yeah for sure but this is the fucking this is another crazy factor I would turn my head to the left you know turn my head 90 degrees and still the shaman's at three o'clock the terraform is at nine o'clock It did not matter which way I turned my head.

00:56:09.000 I could lie down.

00:56:10.000 I could go left.

00:56:11.000 I could go right.

00:56:12.000 Didn't matter.

00:56:13.000 My vision was stuck in the same spot.

00:56:16.000 It's like any movements I made in the third dimension had absolutely no impact of what I was seeing in the eighth dimension.

00:56:23.000 I guess if I wanted to look around in that dimension.

00:56:25.000 Why is it the eighth dimension?

00:56:27.000 I'll get to that.

00:56:27.000 Sorry about that.

00:56:28.000 That was what I encountered.

00:56:31.000 That's the paradigm they used.

00:56:33.000 At the end of it.

00:56:34.000 They call where I was at that point the eighth dimension.

00:56:38.000 And the reason why is that's the penultimate dimension.

00:56:42.000 That's the last one before the ninth, which is oneness with all creation, which is just unification with all life, all creation that ever was, that ever will be.

00:56:52.000 Pure solidarity with God, with the universe, whatever you want.

00:56:56.000 Is that supposed to be what you're hitting when he blows the cinnamon smoke on you?

00:56:59.000 No.

00:56:59.000 So that was actually the seventh dimension.

00:57:01.000 Is what they were going.

00:57:02.000 But to go back to where I was there, I'll explain the paradigm as they see it.

00:57:06.000 They give you a map of each dimension?

00:57:08.000 They do, afterwards.

00:57:09.000 Tourist God?

00:57:10.000 Afterwards.

00:57:11.000 So at that point, no visions were coming.

00:57:15.000 Nothing was happening to me at all.

00:57:16.000 And I was completely lucid.

00:57:18.000 So I was like, all right, what can I do?

00:57:20.000 And I was thinking, like, well, what would I want to do?

00:57:22.000 I was like, well, I got a friend who got in a car wreck.

00:57:24.000 I was like, I wonder how he's doing.

00:57:26.000 And he's in Atlanta.

00:57:27.000 And so I was like, I wonder how he's doing.

00:57:29.000 Boom, I see him.

00:57:30.000 And he's in, like, a bar or a restaurant.

00:57:31.000 And I'm like, oh, snap.

00:57:33.000 Like, he just came immediately.

00:57:34.000 He didn't have to travel.

00:57:35.000 Like, I could see him right there.

00:57:37.000 And he's laughing, talking with friends.

00:57:38.000 I was like, well, it looks like he's okay, but I wonder if he really is.

00:57:41.000 And I was able to, like, look in his body.

00:57:43.000 And I see this, like, bad, energetic something, like this black part in his ribcage. 0.90

00:57:50.000 And I was like, oh, that's no good.

00:57:52.000 And I was like, I wonder if I can get rid of that.

00:57:54.000 And I was like...

00:57:55.000 And I, like, focused on pushing, like, white, the golden light into his body.

00:58:00.000 And I was like, phew!

00:58:01.000 Fills his body and pushes this little missile out of his ribs. 1.00

00:58:04.000 And I was like, oh, shit! 0.99

00:58:06.000 Like, I don't know if that actually helped him, but that was pretty rad that I was able to do it, you know? 0.99

00:58:10.000 I didn't know.

00:58:10.000 Did you ever call him up afterwards?

00:58:12.000 I couldn't call.

00:58:13.000 There's no cell phone, but I talked to him later.

00:58:15.000 Yeah, I talked to him later.

00:58:16.000 He doesn't remember, like, the exact moment, but he said right around then, yeah, he started feeling way better.

00:58:22.000 You know, so...

00:58:24.000 What was wrong with him before that?

00:58:25.000 He had a bad impact.

00:58:27.000 Got T-boned with some lady coming off the freeway, hit the steering wheel, hit his head.

00:58:32.000 So he felt better out of nowhere.

00:58:34.000 Did you ask him, hey man, have you ever been in a bar and then all of a sudden you feel better?

00:58:38.000 Or did you say, hey, I did some freaky voodoo on you?

00:58:42.000 Did you put the power of suggestion in his mind? 0.99

00:58:45.000 Sadly, the next time I talked to him, I was fucking hammered. 0.95

00:58:48.000 So I think we just got right into it. 0.96

00:58:50.000 It wasn't like I... You've got to dance around that one to find out the real evidence.

00:58:54.000 I know.

00:58:55.000 So next time.

00:58:56.000 Next time I'll do that.

00:58:57.000 But he just breezed into town and I was like, yo, I'm just back from Peru.

00:59:02.000 But anyway, so I didn't get the proper scientific explanation.

00:59:05.000 But some loose correlation with how it worked.

00:59:08.000 Okay.

00:59:08.000 But more concrete evidence on myself.

00:59:11.000 I was like, alright, well if I could do that to him, what about myself?

00:59:14.000 And I started scanning my body with my hands and my mind and It was like a car mechanic looking at the car.

00:59:21.000 I was completely detached from it.

00:59:23.000 I was like, oh, that's pretty good.

00:59:24.000 I did a pretty good job here.

00:59:26.000 That's not bad.

00:59:26.000 This vessel's pretty good.

00:59:28.000 I was just giving it a 10-point inspection.

00:59:31.000 My glands had always been swollen.

00:59:32.000 I was like, ah, there's something not quite right there.

00:59:35.000 I went and I physically started pulling out of my glands.

00:59:40.000 I was like, well, maybe I can pull what's bad out of there.

00:59:42.000 And I felt like I did.

00:59:44.000 And I felt like it stuck to my fingers.

00:59:45.000 And I'm like shaking my fingers like, ah, get it off.

00:59:48.000 I didn't know how to get it off.

00:59:49.000 So I like shake it and some of it falls off.

00:59:52.000 And then I put it in the ground and some of it like drips off.

00:59:54.000 And I was like, oh, it's still not working.

00:59:56.000 So I had a water then and I poured it on my fingers and that seemed to work.

01:00:00.000 Who knows about that?

01:00:02.000 But since then, I haven't gotten...

01:00:04.000 My glands have not been swollen at all.

01:00:06.000 And I've gotten Epstein-Barr virus that always has them a little bit swollen, but not even a bit since then.

01:00:13.000 So I don't know.

01:00:15.000 Thank God you weren't just ripping your face off at that time, by the way.

01:00:18.000 I was so lucid, man.

01:00:19.000 I was so lucid.

01:00:21.000 Anything I thought of.

01:00:22.000 And then I was like, well, what about this?

01:00:23.000 Yeah, but listen to what you just said.

01:00:25.000 You said, I was so lucid, but I was pulling my glands out.

01:00:28.000 I was ripping my glands out.

01:00:29.000 Rubbing it off of the dirt.

01:00:31.000 It's weird, right? 0.98

01:00:32.000 Shooting lung missiles out of your friend.

01:00:34.000 When you hear stuff like this, when you hear yourself say it, whose phone is that? 0.88

01:00:40.000 Someone's got their phone right next to the thing. 1.00

01:00:45.000 Anyway, you hear that shit, that feedback? 0.99

01:00:47.000 That's a phone next to something. 1.00

01:00:48.000 Anyway, when you hear yourself saying this, you hear yourself describing it, surely part of you must think how preposterous and ridiculous this must sound to a skeptical person. 0.97

01:00:59.000 Sure. 1.00

01:00:59.000 Like, you know, a skeptical, no-nonsense sort of a fucking Goldwater Republican listening to this faggot shit. 1.00

01:01:05.000 Yeah. 1.00

01:01:05.000 You know, you listen to this ridiculous nonsense, these fucking pussy kids. 1.00

01:01:08.000 You want to find yourself, huh? 1.00

01:01:10.000 Yeah.

01:01:10.000 You want to find yourself?

01:01:11.000 Yeah, yeah. 1.00

01:01:12.000 Go off to the fucking jungle and take drugs? 1.00

01:01:14.000 That's how you find yourself? 1.00

01:01:15.000 I mean, you must think.

01:01:17.000 Listen, this is the main thing that people would criticize if they would hear about people trying to find themselves with drugs. 1.00

01:01:26.000 Yeah, this fucking idiot thinks he's pulling cancer out of his glands. 1.00

01:01:32.000 Do you hear that though? 1.00

01:01:33.000 It sounds crazy.

01:01:33.000 But if you can control your mind, if you are what your mind believes it is, then if he thinks he's cleaning out his body, his brain will think he's cleaning out his body and it might actually have something to it, you know?

01:01:46.000 Sure.

01:01:47.000 Or it's actually happening.

01:01:49.000 Either way.

01:01:50.000 Or it's actually happening.

01:01:51.000 I was there and I have to report it honestly.

01:01:54.000 I feel like that's my mission to come back.

01:01:57.000 And I feel like it's one of the reasons why it happened to me so I could talk about it and talk to you guys and get it out there.

01:02:02.000 But the next thing I did was I looked at my business.

01:02:07.000 Very lucidly looked at all my marketing channels and different things, thought about AlphaBrain, thought about the different things, thought about, you know, very, very conservative Republican-type thinking about my life and my business.

01:02:20.000 And I saw some channels that I was working hard to produce, and I was like, there's no resources there.

01:02:24.000 And I could physically visualize, you know, where there was pools and these tubes that were feeding like a giant machine.

01:02:30.000 I was like, well, I'm trying to build this tube to this Pool of resources, but there's nothing there.

01:02:35.000 Like, I gotta cut that one off.

01:02:36.000 I was like, this one is good, but it's blocked.

01:02:38.000 You know, they gotta change that.

01:02:39.000 Change the marketing.

01:02:40.000 You know, change something on that.

01:02:42.000 So, or, you know, think about this formula or that.

01:02:45.000 And I can visualize it perfectly.

01:02:47.000 And, you know, right now, you know, business is going great.

01:02:50.000 So, yeah.

01:02:50.000 So you saw it in metaphors.

01:02:52.000 You saw it in a different sense than you saw it as, you know, here's a product, here's the marketing.

01:02:58.000 Instead of that, you saw it as almost like Energy?

01:03:01.000 It was like feeding a machine, like gas, fuel, energy.

01:03:06.000 Now, do you have any idea, did you talk to it like the other people?

01:03:09.000 Were they also doing the same things or were other people like, dude, I saw dancing in there?

01:03:13.000 Now I know why your microphone is so much louder than everybody else's. 1.00

01:03:15.000 You suck on that thing, dude. 0.99

01:03:16.000 You get up in here like this. 1.00

01:03:18.000 Back off a little bit.

01:03:19.000 Everybody else is talking like this.

01:03:20.000 So was other people just seeing dancing bears?

01:03:24.000 A lot of people, yeah.

01:03:26.000 Aquariums, they were seeing their own demons or spirits or different things.

01:03:31.000 Did you guys have shared visions?

01:03:33.000 No.

01:03:33.000 No shared visions?

01:03:34.000 No shared visions.

01:03:35.000 You know, that's one of the things.

01:03:38.000 When they first discovered it, when they started bringing it back to the Western world, they tried to call it telepathine.

01:03:46.000 Because of shared experiences, but because of the scientific rules of nomenclature, because they isolated the compound as harmine already, one of the compounds, they went with that because it was the first description of it.

01:04:01.000 But they were going to call it telepathine because of the shared experiences.

01:04:04.000 But you didn't have any of that?

01:04:05.000 There were some husband and wife couples in different huts that did, that were witnessing.

01:04:10.000 witnessing one would just witness the other's entire experience and be like, they would try and talk to each other about it and be like, Yeah, I know, I saw the whole thing.

01:04:17.000 So that happened.

01:04:18.000 But as far as like the group in my setting, it seemed to be more closely linked to family, you know, family ties or relationship romantic ties, things like that, not necessarily what So the shared experiences are with people that already have a relationship?

01:04:33.000 That's what seemed to be happening in this trip.

01:04:35.000 That makes sense.

01:04:36.000 Yeah.

01:04:36.000 Yeah, you're already tuned in together.

01:04:38.000 Well, you know, there's that feeling always when you're in a relationship that you become a part of that person.

01:04:43.000 I mean, I think every deep, intense relationship that I've ever had, you feel like it's more than just two people hanging out together.

01:04:52.000 Somehow or another, you connect on some...

01:04:56.000 I don't want to say spiritual energy, some sort of intangible level, which is why breaking up is so painful because a part of you is literally missing.

01:05:04.000 You cannot feel whole.

01:05:06.000 You can't sleep.

01:05:07.000 You can't eat.

01:05:08.000 You don't feel right because some of you is missing.

01:05:11.000 So that would kind of make sense that those are the type of people that would have a shared experience because they literally have their souls are somehow or another connected.

01:05:19.000 They have some sort of an inexorable bond.

01:05:22.000 And that's what played itself out.

01:05:25.000 So you didn't have any experiences with your mom?

01:05:27.000 Your mom only did it once? 0.99

01:05:29.000 No, she did it three times. 0.92

01:05:30.000 She did it three times.

01:05:31.000 Did she do it with you with the dragon?

01:05:32.000 She was actually in that room that time.

01:05:34.000 And she said she didn't see what I saw.
