00:00:34.000 The moment I saw it, I reached out to my guy.

00:00:36.000 I was like, I got to talk to her because this is crazy.

00:00:38.000 So please explain to people what these artifacts are and what's so bizarre about them.

00:00:44.000 I first saw these artifacts in the British Museum.

00:00:49.000 So they have an entire whole wall full of them.

00:00:52.000 And they're made of nephrite jade, which is an extremely hard stone.

00:00:58.000 And they just look machined.

00:01:02.000 Way too precise for the tools that they say built them.

00:01:06.000 So I started doing some research.

00:01:08.000 I haven't been to the site in China.

00:01:10.000 It was built by the Langzhu culture, so archaeologists say.

00:01:15.000 But it's two different kinds of artifacts that are really famous.

00:01:21.000 One is called a Sung tube, which is a tall tube that's circular in the middle and square on the outside and extremely precise geometry.

00:01:32.000 Big round B discs that almost look like a giant flat donut that are perfectly flat on top.

00:01:38.000 You know, there's the precision versions of these, just like you see all over the world.

00:01:43.000 And there are versions that are much cruder.

00:01:46.000 So it almost seems like the civilization had this.

00:01:50.000 My theory is that these were not unlike the hard stone vases in Egypt.

00:01:56.000 So it was something that this culture either was gifted or found.

00:02:02.000 And it turned into a very cherished object, like a grave good for them.

00:02:07.000 So you find these tombs in Liangzhu, China, that have literally thousands of these jade artifacts in them.

00:02:15.000 And it's not unlike the hard stone vases that you see in Egypt, where you find those in the graves as well.

00:02:21.000 So, what's the timeline where these pieces are attributed to?

00:02:25.000 So these are really old.

00:02:26.000 I mean, the earthworks and the community around the Liangzhu culture is.

00:02:37.000 Securely dated by archaeologists to like 3400 BC.

00:02:41.000 And then, you know, just so it's about the same actually as the graves that were in Egypt with the hardstone bases.

00:02:49.000 So it's very, very old.

00:02:51.000 And at the time of this culture, what were their tools?

00:02:56.000 Like, do we know?

00:02:57.000 Well, the archaeologists say that it was made with strings.

00:03:03.000 So they would take strings with sand or some sort of an abrasive and they would cut the jade that way.

00:03:09.000 And then they would use copper tools, stone hammers, those kinds of things to shape it.

00:03:16.000 So the explanation.

00:03:17.000 Say there was a giant smile on your face.

00:03:18.000 The explanation doesn't make a lot of sense.

00:03:20.000 And even, you know, the hole down the middle of the B disc is a perfect.

00:03:25.000 I mean, you can see the drill marks on the inside of the B disc.

00:03:28.000 Do we have some images of these things?

00:04:05.000 You know, I don't know the answer to that.

00:04:06.000 And I don't know that there have been a lot of deep scientific studies on the precision of these, right?

00:04:12.000 The archaeologists assume that this culture made them with bamboo and strings.

00:04:19.000 So, yeah, that picture, Jamie, you can see the inside of the actual artifact in the bottom right.

00:04:29.000 And the one on the left is an experiment these archaeologists ran with a bamboo core.

00:04:34.000 Down the middle of the jade, and you can just see the difference between the two.

00:04:40.000 How far did they get down with the bamboo experiment?

00:04:43.000 Oh, all the way through. 0.99

00:04:43.000 They got all the way through. 0.99

00:04:44.000 How long did that take?

00:04:46.000 I don't know the answer to that.

00:04:47.000 There was an archaeologist that did an experiment in the 1930s, and they used these strings with the abrasives to cut off a piece of jade that was the size of a basketball.

00:04:58.000 And it took them a week to cut the string all the way through that piece of jade.

00:05:03.000 So it was a lot of work.

00:05:05.000 So the difference in the people that are listening, So, there's the bamboo experiment where they drilled into something with a bamboo and cord and some.

00:05:13.000 What else did they use?

00:05:15.000 Like sand or something?

00:05:16.000 Yes, abrasives of some sort.

00:05:18.000 And so the difference is if you look at the lines as it's drilling down, they're thick and they don't look the same.

00:05:27.000 If you look at the ones in the actual artifact, they're extremely tight.

00:05:31.000 They're way smaller and they're tighter to each other and it doesn't make sense.

00:05:36.000 Like, you look at that, you're like, that looks.

00:05:39.000 Like a machine.

00:05:40.000 It does.

00:05:40.000 And in this specific instance, it looks to me like the drill came from both directions.

00:05:46.000 Like they flipped it over and drilled from the top and then flipped it over again and drilled from the bottom, and that's where it met in the middle.

00:05:56.000 So, when what is like what's out of all these different artifacts, what's the most puzzling one to you?

00:06:04.000 The sung tube.

00:06:05.000 Which is the one on the left hand side there.

00:06:07.000 Yep.

00:06:08.000 So, that you know, that is a it's larger on top, smaller on the bottom.

00:06:12.000 Perfectly 90 degree corners.

00:06:15.000 It's got a round tube in the middle, but the artifact in general is square.

00:06:20.000 So it's just a very complex shape to create with that level of precision.

00:06:24.000 And nephrite jade is a very hard stone.

00:06:28.000 So it would have taken, you know, this is a, people in my space talk about the Mohs scale of hardness just as a way of saying diamonds are a 10, you know, different stone levels.

00:06:41.000 The hard stone disks like diorite, that would be a six or seven.

00:06:46.000 This is the same.

00:06:48.000 It's that hard.

00:06:49.000 Wow.

00:06:50.000 And so, is the idea, well, I'm just assuming the idea, is that there was a more sophisticated culture that probably existed predating that, and these are leftover artifacts?

00:07:05.000 It is only my opinion that that's the case.

00:07:08.000 I haven't seen a lot of people talk about these artifacts at all.

00:07:12.000 Jamie, if you go back to the picture you had just flashed on the screen, the reason I've developed this theory, so.

00:07:19.000 This is an image on the side of the largest sung tube.

00:07:22.000 It's called the King of Jade Sung.

00:07:24.000 It's a 15 pound artifact that was found.

00:07:29.000 And you can see the raised stone, so it's the high relief carvings that were later etched over.

00:07:37.000 That etching has become very famous.

00:07:39.000 If you look at photos of the museum in Liangzhou, this image is everywhere.

00:07:45.000 And I think that this was an image that was used by.

00:07:49.000 The Liangzhu tribe is like the image of the king, basically.

00:07:53.000 And so I, but I do believe that it was scratched over the top of an original, very interesting high relief carving that you see in a lot of other artifacts.

00:08:06.000 So I think that he basically found this.

00:08:08.000 It looks, it's something that they maybe could not recreate. 0.85

00:08:13.000 And then they kind of stamped their kingly symbol over the top of it. 0.91

00:08:18.000 So this is.

00:08:20.000 It's common in Egypt as well, particularly this theory among alternative historians, because you look at the complexity of some of the sarcophaguses and some of the different things, and then you see the writing on the outside, which looks like cruder.

00:08:34.000 The writing is not as precise.

00:08:36.000 The cutting is not as precise.

00:08:37.000 There's a lot of chips to it.

00:08:39.000 It doesn't look like they use the same materials or the same utensils or tools.

00:08:46.000 Yeah, and the question is if you had the ability, there's the King of Jade sung.

00:08:51.000 So, if you had the ability to make an artifact in that kind of a shape, why would you not have also created the scratching over the top in that high quality version?

00:09:03.000 So, why would you create the artifact like that and then just scratch over the top of it?

00:09:07.000 It doesn't make sense.

00:09:09.000 That's always been the case that history shows that people who are controlling a region will take credit for everything.

00:09:17.000 They'll take credit for all the ancient stuff too.

00:09:19.000 They'll put their name on it, they own everything.

00:09:21.000 You know, and that's famous with pharaohs.

00:09:21.000 Yeah.

00:09:24.000 They did it with everything.

00:09:26.000 This is documented.

00:09:27.000 We know that they wrote their name on things that they didn't create.

00:09:29.000 Yeah.

00:09:30.000 Ramses II was king selfie.

00:09:32.000 You know, he put his cartouche on everything.

00:09:35.000 Yeah, which is, I mean, it sounds like what a dictator does, it sounds like what a pharaoh would do.

00:09:40.000 Yeah.

00:09:41.000 You know, it doesn't mean that they made it.

00:09:43.000 And for us to just assume that they did, knowing that people in great power behave that way, is kind of crazy.

00:09:49.000 That's our map of history.

00:09:52.000 So, how did you get down this road where you started looking at these objects and looking at the conventional historical timeline and saying something's wrong here?

00:10:03.000 Specific to the Chinese artifacts?

00:10:04.000 Yeah.

00:10:06.000 Or were you already on that path when you found the Chinese artifacts?

00:10:09.000 I've been on this path for a while.

00:10:12.000 And the name of my channel is Secrets in Stone.

00:10:15.000 And the reason I named it that is because I believe that the stones speak to you, they will show you exactly what the story is, right?

00:10:23.000 So, with these artifacts, just like the hard stone vases, it just is out of place.

00:10:31.000 It doesn't make any sense.

00:10:32.000 And especially in the British Museum, when you look at these with your own eyes and then you read the story of how they believe that they were made, it just doesn't add up.

00:10:42.000 And so, all you have to do in any of these places is dig one or two levels down and you start to see a lot of inconsistencies.

00:10:51.000 One or two levels, meaning that the older stuff is the more complex.

00:10:55.000 Yeah.

00:10:58.000 With the way that the archaeologists have interpreted a lot of these sites, there's a whole lot of assumptions that are made.

00:11:07.000 You know, there's carbon dating that only goes part way down.

00:11:11.000 You know, they'll dig part way down, they'll date it, it matches their story, and they write the report.

00:11:16.000 They'll take inscriptions, you know, especially in Cambodia, places like that, where a king has written an inscription and they'll say, yep, well, that king wrote on this, so this must have been made at this time.

00:11:28.000 And there's really no further investigation.

00:11:32.000 So, it's become a theme with my work where I'll go somewhere, specifically with the megalithic architecture.

00:11:42.000 You can see exactly where the old architecture was built.

00:11:46.000 Oftentimes, it's the lowest level.

00:11:48.000 And then you can see where other cultures have come later and built on top of it.

00:11:52.000 And it just looks like a copy of what's underneath.

00:11:58.000 It's like they were really trying to make what they saw, but they just couldn't.

00:12:02.000 And so once you've kind of trained your eye for that, you go anywhere in the world and you see it.

00:12:08.000 How did you start looking at this stuff?

00:12:11.000 I went to, well, I went to Egypt four years ago and watched Ben Van Kerkwick's videos.

00:12:17.000 You know, Ben.

00:12:18.000 Sure.

00:12:19.000 So, I watched a couple of his videos on the way to Egypt.

00:12:19.000 He was awesome.

00:12:23.000 That was my first kind of introduction to this.

00:12:26.000 And then it just became a bit of an obsession for me.

00:12:31.000 I like to go to the sites around the world that other people don't really go to.

00:12:36.000 So, you know, I think Egypt and Peru and Turkey, it's all in good hands, right?

00:12:43.000 Ben's watching over Egypt.

00:12:44.000 We've got Brian Forrester down in Peru doing amazing work.

00:12:48.000 The sites I go to are the sites that nobody else really visits.

00:12:52.000 So, I just got back from India a couple weeks ago.

00:12:55.000 I spent a lot of time in Cambodia.

00:12:57.000 I went to Thailand.

00:12:59.000 And these are the sites that I think, if you're trying to make a case, or at least a strong enough case that people will consider, right, that there may be a different history than what we're being told, I think you have to have more than three examples.

00:13:15.000 So, if you can start to do a lot of research on these sites all around the world, you can have thousands of examples of.

00:13:24.000 Nubs, for example, or megalithic architecture that looks very similar.

00:13:29.000 These walls that look very similar all over the world.

00:13:31.000 And it just makes, in my mind, a much stronger case for it than just continuing to look at the same sites over and over again.

00:13:38.000 It seems to me so much more likely that the timeline is incorrect than the historians are right and everyone else is just a conspiracy theorist, weirdo.

00:13:50.000 The more you look at it, the more questions I have.

00:13:53.000 Like that Kailasa temple in.

00:13:57.000 We've gone over that a few times, but Jamie pointed out something that they brought in about, was it like an army to try to destroy it? 0.96

00:14:15.000 What did they, and I saw a really wild YouTube video the other day where this guy was proposing that they used lasers and that it was all laser carved and that they had some sort of like super sophisticated laser setup back then.

00:14:27.000 That's why you're not finding all the stone that it was.

00:14:31.000 Well, you know, it's.

00:14:32.000 I'm like, what?

00:14:33.000 Wait a minute.

00:14:34.000 Look, I think that's absolutely possible. 0.86

00:14:38.000 It sounds possible, but also so insane that we're so wrong about the linear timeline of human history that they had fucking lasers in India, like how many thousands of years ago that they were using to carve an entire massive, perfect temple out of rock?

00:14:56.000 You know, I was just down at the Hoysala temples, which are in southern India, and they have these lathe turned pillars. 0.65

00:15:04.000 The pillars are.

00:15:05.000 Feet across.

00:15:06.000 They're huge.

00:15:07.000 And you walk up to them and you look at them closely and you can see the lathe marks on them.

00:15:13.000 And archaeologists concede that they're lathe turned, but they don't concede that it's machined.

00:15:18.000 So they basically say, well, maybe they were turned on a lathe.

00:15:22.000 But that was probably human powered or animal powered.

00:15:22.000 We'll give you that.

00:15:27.000 Yeah. 0.99

00:15:28.000 So these are the lathe turned pillars in southern India.

00:15:31.000 I was just looking at these with my own eyes a couple weeks ago.

00:15:35.000 Completely unexplainable.

00:15:37.000 And to think of the size of the machine that would be required, say you turn that pillar sideways, you connect it to a machine on each side, and you start lathing.

00:15:48.000 Jamie, I have a folder in my India pictures that.

00:15:54.000 God, that's so pretty.

00:15:55.000 That has lots of evidence.

00:15:57.000 So, what you can see at sites like Hampi in India is you can see the evidence of lathing.

00:16:03.000 So, it almost looks like the setup that they would have used to carve these kinds of pillars.

00:16:10.000 And it's just sitting in kind of far flung corners of these sites.

00:16:14.000 Nobody addresses what they are.

00:16:16.000 And so the evidence is everywhere of this.

00:16:21.000 It's just not, you know, it's written off.

00:16:23.000 It's like, well, that must have been an animal powered lathe.

00:16:27.000 So I do think we have strong evidence for machining in ancient history.

00:16:32.000 And in my mind, it doesn't have to be machines.

00:16:35.000 You know, there could have been other ways that they were doing this that we don't even recognize.

00:16:39.000 So, what is this that we're looking at?

00:16:40.000 So, this is in, this is at the museum in Hampi in southern India.

00:16:46.000 And that to me looks like the left.

00:16:49.000 So, it looks like where a pillar might have been placed and the machine was spinning, you know, some sort of a lathing machine.

00:16:58.000 So, I think it's like the, you know, the other side of these pillars, basically.

00:17:03.000 Like the end plates.

00:17:04.000 Yeah, exactly.

00:17:06.000 And so, these pillars, how large are they?

00:17:15.000 God, I can't get over how pretty that is.

00:17:16.000 They're so incredible in real life, too.

00:17:18.000 How tall are they?

00:17:20.000 I mean, my head would probably go halfway up that pillar.

00:17:23.000 They're twice as tall as me.

00:17:25.000 So immensely heavy.

00:17:27.000 And what kind of stone is it carved out of?

00:17:29.000 This is a chloritic schist.

00:17:31.000 So it's called soapstone.

00:17:34.000 God, it's so pretty.

00:17:35.000 But there are lathed turned pillars that are also granite.

00:17:39.000 In southern India, it's a soapstone.

00:17:40.000 So when it's quarried, it's a little bit softer.

00:17:44.000 And then it hardens once it's out of the quarry.

00:17:46.000 Has anyone done an analysis of the geometry in these things?

00:17:51.000 Like how precise it is?

00:17:53.000 And how.

00:17:55.000 Like I'm looking at it.

00:17:56.000 If you go to that, the one next to it, please.

00:18:01.000 When I'm looking at the precision of that and how many different pieces there are, I would love to know how uniform those are because it looks insane.

00:18:27.000 You walk into them and you can tell that they were made with a lot of love.

00:18:41.000 Like, I would love to know what the precision of that is.

00:18:45.000 Because, really, imagine if it's insanely precise, and then you have to explain that, too.

00:18:51.000 Not just stone chisels and tools and stuff, but when you can see in the pillars, you can see where the lathe started at the bottom and you can see where it stopped at the top.

00:19:02.000 And a lot of people are like, well, turn it sideways.

00:19:05.000 Is that some sort of a sound wave, right?

00:19:09.000 Is it mimicking?

00:20:06.000 Swarga Mandap of Kopeshwar temple are lathe turned with extremely uniform circular and polygonal profiles, showing high geometric precision and tight alignment despite being carved from stone without mortar joints.

00:20:21.000 It says it resembles machine turned work.

00:20:24.000 Resembles.

00:20:25.000 That's cute.

00:20:25.000 Yeah.

00:20:27.000 Isn't it more likely that it was machine turned?

00:20:31.000 If it's exactly.

00:20:32.000 Pillars are laid out with consistent spacing in the circular hall so that the open oculus in the ceiling remains perfectly centered.

00:20:38.000 Suggesting careful radial planning and load distribution.

00:20:42.000 The temple uses interlocking stone and gravity rather than mortar.

00:20:45.000 So, the precise fit of the pillars into bases and beams is critical to stability and is cited as an example of advanced medieval Indian stone engineering.

00:20:55.000 One thing that's interesting when you go to these temples is you can see where they have moved these pillars into the temple.

00:21:02.000 So, the core of most of these temples, in my opinion, is the original megalithic part of these temples, the oldest stuff.

00:21:10.000 But you can see where these pillars have been moved into new temples.

00:21:13.000 And so you'll see these crazy, precise, dark stones.

00:21:18.000 It says this is a rotating pillar.

00:21:20.000 What?

00:21:21.000 I think it used to rotate.

00:21:23.000 It does not anymore.

00:21:24.000 I actually saw that pillar.

00:21:26.000 When did it stop?

00:21:27.000 I don't know.

00:21:28.000 And maybe that's just a myth.

00:21:29.000 I have no idea.

00:21:31.000 But you can see where they moved these pillars from original temples, or maybe, who knows, maybe they found a workshop somewhere with these.

00:21:39.000 And they put them in the center of the newer temples.

00:21:43.000 So it's.

00:21:44.000 Not precise at all, very crude stonework above and below them, and then they have this perfect lathe pillar right in the middle.

00:21:51.000 So, what is the timeline that they attribute to the construction of these?

00:21:55.000 Oh, you know, 1200 to 1500 AD.

00:21:58.000 And why do they say that?

00:22:00.000 Because the kings that ruled during that time period wrote inscriptions on the pillars in a lot of instances, on the sides of the temples, things like that.

00:22:11.000 It's all inscriptional evidence.

00:22:11.000 Yeah.

00:22:13.000 I would need more evidence.

00:22:15.000 Right.

00:22:16.000 What's really interesting, I've done a lot of.

00:22:17.000 This sounds great.

00:22:18.000 It's graffiti.

00:22:19.000 Yeah, I've done a lot of research in Cambodia, and they date all of their temples based on inscriptions.

00:22:27.000 And when you actually run these inscriptions through AI and you translate them, they've all been translated from Sanskrit to French.

00:22:34.000 I then translated it from French to English.

00:22:37.000 And when you read what the kings actually wrote, very seldom do they say, I, King so and so, built this.

00:22:44.000 What they say is, I installed a lingam.

00:22:48.000 I.

00:22:48.000 I brought a statue to this temple.

00:22:51.000 And so the archaeologists make a fairly big jump between what the kings actually wrote and saying, well, this king must have built this.

00:23:00.000 So, in a lot of instances, they're actually putting words into their mouths.

00:23:05.000 Wow.

00:23:07.000 So, what is your belief in terms of the timeline of the construction of these things?

00:23:13.000 I mean, in the oldest instances, I personally believe that it's pre flood.

00:23:21.000 So, you know, more than 12,000 years ago.

00:23:23.000 I think there are some that are probably older, very, you know.

00:23:29.000 Peru is, I just got back from Peru a couple of months ago.

00:23:32.000 That's fully unexplainable.

00:23:34.000 You've talked about Peru on your show many times.

00:23:37.000 Egypt is incredibly ancient.

00:23:38.000 I actually believe that India is one of the most ancient places on earth.

01:04:46.000 What was the first thing that you looked at?

01:04:48.000 I went there for the first time three years ago.

01:04:52.000 It was a quick stopover.

01:04:53.000 We were getting ready to hike the Sandong Cave in Vietnam, the largest cave in the world.

01:04:59.000 I saw that on 60 Minutes.

01:05:00.000 Yeah, so we had that trip planned, and I said, well, Cambodia is right next door.

01:05:04.000 Maybe we should just pop over there for a week.

01:05:06.000 So we did.

01:05:07.000 And walking on these sites, it's the same thing I was talking about earlier.

01:05:12.000 I like to hire local guides just to hear what's the story.

01:05:17.000 That they're telling you what is the official history.

01:05:20.000 And the story that they told me just doesn't match what you see with your own eyes, right?

01:05:25.000 So they say that the earliest civilizations, they're built in brick and then they built with stone.

01:05:31.000 Over time, they developed the ability to build with stone.

01:05:34.000 But all of the brick is on top of the stone, it's on top of these massive pyramids, right?

01:05:40.000 So it doesn't make sense that the oldest stuff is at the top.

01:05:43.000 So I started sort of questioning the history of Cambodia.

01:05:47.000 I got into these LIDAR results, which are really fascinating.

01:05:50.000 I mean, they discovered entire unknown cities in Cambodia with LIDAR.

01:05:56.000 So, on top of the Kulin Mountains, which is the plateau where they quarry all of the stone for Ankar Wat, all the sandstone, there was an entire massive city on top of that plateau that they had no idea was there.

01:06:10.000 There were pyramids, there were 2,000 acre reservoirs, there were mound fields, there were massive causeways, and it was all just hidden under the The trees, the jungle.

01:06:24.000 So it's, you know, in 2012, sort of the cat was out of the bag in Cambodia.

01:06:30.000 And what's interesting is it should have made international headlines.

01:06:34.000 You know, these spiral embankments that are a mile long on the south side of Ankar Wat, nobody knows what they are.

01:06:40.000 Nobody has a good explanation for what they are.

01:06:42.000 Archaeologists say, you know, maybe it was a garden feature, maybe it was fishing.

01:06:50.000 And in my mind, you don't build mile long.

01:06:53.000 Earthen embankments in a shape of a perfect spiral, unless you have a very specific reason for doing that.

01:06:59.000 What do you think that reason was?

01:07:02.000 I don't know.

01:07:03.000 I'm starting to put together a theory about, I think it all had to do with water.

01:07:09.000 They were channeling water down from the Kulin Mountains, which is about 50 miles away from Ankar Wat.

01:07:16.000 They were channeling water down, building 16 kilometer diversion channels, taking the water way out of the way, running them through mound fields into these giant reservoirs.

01:07:28.000 All of these reservoirs have pyramids connected to them.

01:07:33.000 And it's one system after another of reservoirs with temples in the middle, pyramids connected to the outside.

01:07:39.000 It feels like a massive industrial undertaking.

01:07:43.000 And I've gone back and forth.

01:07:45.000 Does it have to do with energy?

01:07:47.000 Possibly.

01:07:48.000 I personally think it had something to do with how they were treating the water.

01:07:56.000 Like if they could get it structured, maybe, right?

01:08:00.000 So that it was better for plants, better for people, better for animals, better for consciousness.

01:08:06.000 There was a massive undertaking happening there that just isn't addressed at all by archaeologists.

01:10:05.000 I was on a tour with Derek Olson last November, and we actually took the tour group out to the corner of Anchor Wat and walked those mounds.

01:10:15.000 And what's interesting is when you're out there, you actually can't tell that the mounds are there until you're Kind of on top of them, and then you look around and you're like, Wow, I'm feet above the rest of the landscape.

01:10:26.000 And then you kind of keep walking because these things are 30 feet across, so you keep walking, and then suddenly you're at the bottom of the landscape.

01:10:31.000 So I don't think that they knew it was there.

01:10:34.000 Wow, it's so big that without LIDAR, you're really not going to get an understanding.

01:10:40.000 So that picture, um, yeah, so there's a good example of the jungle canopy being kind of stripped away.

01:10:53.000 Entire cities, seven kilometer long dams, huge reservoirs.

01:13:19.000 You can stick gum wrappers through these, so they're fully enclosed.

01:13:35.000 So it's that's so interesting that the people that probably built it first had no interest in war, no interest in war, or at least had a very enlightened perspective.

01:13:48.000 It does support, you know, the idea of, I know you've talked about the yuga cycles on this show, but the idea of human consciousness having reached its peak 12,000 years ago and has just been slowly devolving ever since.

01:14:04.000 You can see that in the imagery in some of these temples, plain as day.

01:14:08.000 So, yeah, there's a lot of images of, you know, war scenes on the outer, like all of the outer layers of Angkor Wat, but in the middle, it's totally different.

01:14:30.000 That, like, is backed by any kind of evidence or?

01:14:34.000 I mean, you can look at carbon dating and you can poke holes in the carbon dating all day long.

01:14:42.000 So they'll carbon date wood samples.

01:14:45.000 You know, these are made of stone.

01:14:48.000 There's reconstructions that have happened on all these sites that are brick, and then there's going to be, there's wood.

01:14:54.000 Doorways that are put in, and they've carbon dated the wood.

01:14:58.000 And the wood in a lot of instances is coming back older than the accepted date of the temple construction in general, which is a little bit problematic.

01:15:06.000 So, like, there's a pyramid called Bacong, which is the oldest accepted pyramid in Cambodia.

01:15:13.000 That one's dated to like 800 AD.

01:15:16.000 The wood samples in the repaired sections of Bacong are from the 600s.

01:15:22.000 And they say, well, that's generally the same, you know.

01:15:25.000 And so you have to ask yourself if they were reconstructing and rebuilding these sites, say they were doing that during the Khmer times.

01:15:32.000 They were using bricks and they were using wood to repair these sites.

01:15:36.000 They were doing that in 600 AD.

01:15:38.000 So, how old is the pyramid itself?

01:15:42.000 They came there and they repaired the pyramid.

01:15:44.000 How old is that core structure?

01:15:46.000 Yeah.

01:15:46.000 And to assume that it's the same age is crazy.

01:15:48.000 It's crazy.

01:15:49.000 Yeah.

01:15:50.000 And it's a bit of a circular argument because they date a temple based on an inscription and then they look at other temples that don't have inscriptions and they say, well, this one looks a lot like this one.

01:15:59.000 So, they place it in the same time period.

01:16:02.000 So, it just becomes this big circular logic of all of it fits the story neatly. 0.94

01:16:06.000 You know, based on one inscription, that seems so silly.

01:16:10.000 Yeah, it really just doesn't make sense.

01:16:12.000 It seems much more likely that there's a giant mystery.

01:16:15.000 Yes, yeah, and especially when you look at the difference in the artwork and the way it looks.

01:16:40.000 So, I was recently in India a couple weeks ago, and I saw something there that was the most impressive thing I've seen with my own two eyes.

01:16:51.000 It's called the Bahubali statue.

01:16:59.000 So, it's as big as the biggest destroyed structures or the biggest destroyed statues in Egypt, but it's still standing.

01:19:06.000 So there was a whole large stone that was there, and they just went in and chiseled this statue out of it.

01:20:41.000 Buildings of temples by the Khmer kings was a means of legitimizing their claim to political office and also to lay claim to the protection and powers of the gods.

01:20:49.000 Hindu temples are not a place of religious congregation, instead, they are homes of the gods.

01:20:53.000 In order for a king to lay claim to his political office, he had to prove that the gods did not support his predecessors or his enemies.

01:21:01.000 To this end, the king had to build the grandest temple palace for the gods.

01:21:05.000 One that proved to be more lavish than any previous temples.

01:21:08.000 In doing so, the king could make visible his ability to harness the energy and resources to construct the temple and assert that his temple was the only place that a god would consider residing in on earth.

01:21:20.000 Interestingly, in Cambodia, all of the pyramids were the first structures claimed by the kings.

01:21:29.000 So the first king built the first pyramid, the second king built the second pyramid.

01:21:33.000 So, what I think they were doing is they were going into this landscape and they were finding these incredibly sophisticated pyramids.

01:21:39.000 And just like that paragraph suggests, they said, wow, this is the coolest thing I can find around.

01:21:44.000 And they wrote their name on it.

01:21:46.000 And then once all the pyramids were taken, they started claiming the berets.

01:21:50.000 They started claiming the really nice temples.

01:21:52.000 There's a temple called Bantye Sre, which is a red sandstone temple.

01:21:56.000 It's beautiful, it's one of the coolest places I've ever been.

01:22:00.000 They claimed all of these places first.

01:22:02.000 So all of the coolest stuff in Cambodia is the oldest.

01:22:05.000 And then once everything was claimed, they started building new ones, like that Bayon temple that you saw with the faces and the smaller stones.

01:22:15.000 So that's what I think happened in Cambodia.

02:32:52.000 And so we didn't have the opportunity to see these global patterns the way that we do now.

02:32:58.000 To link, okay, I see the same thing in Egypt that I see in India.

02:33:03.000 Like this thousand ton statue is in India and it's also in Egypt.

02:33:09.000 I don't think it was as easy to do that back in the day.

02:33:11.000 You know, even the people that were deep into the research in Egypt in the 1800s weren't traveling to Peru.

02:33:19.000 We are at a very unique time in history where we can look across all of it, especially in the next 10 years when we're leveraging AI and other technologies from space based scanning or whatever.
