00:00:02.000 Joe Rogan Podcast, check it out.
00:00:04.000 The Joe Rogan Experience.
00:00:06.000 Train by day, Joe Rogan Podcast by night, all day.
00:00:17.000 Of course, I know who he is.
00:00:18.000 Yeah, yeah, and I believe him.
00:00:20.000 I do too.
00:00:21.000 I mean, he certainly seems believable.
00:00:25.000 I'm, you know, people that tell the same story for decades and decades without any variation to it.
00:00:32.000 It's hard.
00:00:33.000 I mean, you know, I don't know what happened, but all the people that were with him during the time we're talking about, for people just listening now, talking about Travis Walton, who was a man who in the 1970s was a logger in Arizona, and he was allegedly,
00:00:48.000 or according to him, abducted by aliens.
00:00:52.000 And the people that he was with saw him get hit by a beam of light.
00:00:56.000 They freaked out, took off.
00:00:58.000 They were driving away, and they were like, We got to go back and get him.
00:01:00.000 We got to go back and get him.
00:01:01.000 They turned around, went back and got him, tried to get him.
00:01:03.000 He was gone.
00:01:04.000 The craft was gone and he disappeared for five days and then turned up and had this insane story.
00:01:14.000 Yeah, and then he's taken those tests like polygraph tests?
00:01:19.000 Yeah, polygraph tests like every year or something like that.
00:01:22.000 Or he takes them regularly and he always passes them.
00:01:25.000 Well, so did the people that were with him.
00:01:27.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:01:29.000 And I've seen people interview the people that were with him even just recently.
00:01:34.000 They're like, well, whatever, regardless of what I think about Travis as a person, yeah, that happened.
00:01:39.000 Yeah, one of the guys actually got in a fistfight with him the day of the abduction.
00:01:44.000 The guy did not like him.
00:01:45.000 Like, they hated each other.
00:01:47.000 And then, you know, they were young guys.
00:01:49.000 Yeah.
00:01:49.000 And then he had to testify.
00:01:52.000 And he was like, it happened.
00:01:53.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:01:54.000 Whatever it was.
00:01:55.000 So, yeah, I believe him.
00:01:56.000 And his interpretation has changed a lot, too, through the years.
00:02:00.000 Not the facts, the facts are all the same.
00:02:04.000 But his interpretation of them, like, you know, were they.
00:02:07.000 Because he thought they were pretty malign, like bad, right?
00:02:10.000 He didn't enjoy being abducted, let's put it that way.
00:02:13.000 But then over the years, he said, well, maybe something spiritual happened.
00:02:16.000 But I don't know where he's at right now.
00:02:18.000 I haven't seen a recent interview.
00:02:19.000 There's an interesting one that's out now with him and Bob Lazar sitting across from each other.
00:02:24.000 Oh, wow.
00:02:25.000 Yeah, in a diner.
00:02:26.000 It's very weird.
00:02:28.000 And they're sitting there eating pie, talking about what they think this whole thing is.
00:02:34.000 Uh huh.
00:02:34.000 Uh huh.
00:02:35.000 Yeah.
00:02:35.000 Yeah.
00:02:37.000 So, what's new in the world of all this?
00:02:41.000 Well, a lot, right?
00:02:43.000 So the government has been releasing UFO files since May 2026.
00:02:49.000 And this is something that a lot of people think is really important.
00:02:55.000 And, you know, it's a form of disclosure.
00:02:58.000 They're pushing the group that is pushing this and happy that this is happening.
00:03:03.000 They're also wanting the president to come out and say, yeah, there are these things.
00:03:09.000 I saw JD Vance on your show the other day.
00:03:12.000 That was really interesting.
00:03:13.000 He's, of course, I.
00:03:15.000 I was interested in what he had to say.
00:03:16.000 You kind of pushed back on his, what he was talking about in terms of calling.
00:03:20.000 I don't want to use that word, the D word, right?
00:03:23.000 Yeah.
00:03:23.000 Demons?
00:03:24.000 Why don't you want to use that word?
00:03:25.000 Because I must take this opportunity now to say that I am speaking on your podcast as a private individual and I don't represent my university talking about this, okay?
00:03:36.000 So, I mean, seriously, look what happened to him.
00:03:39.000 So he basically, you know, was honest and said, yeah, I think that these are, you know, demons.
00:03:45.000 Well, You know, that was the headline, Joe.
00:03:48.000 But when you actually listen to what he had to say, it was more complicated.
00:03:52.000 And so I thought that he did a good job of talking about it with you.
00:03:58.000 And if you want, we can talk about that, why he would think that.
00:04:01.000 He is Catholic.
00:04:03.000 I do history of Catholicism, it is part of what I do.
00:04:03.000 I'm Catholic.
00:04:07.000 By the way, I'm a professor of religious studies at university.
00:04:11.000 So, yeah, so I've been like looking at that.
00:04:14.000 I've been doing Catholic history my whole life.
00:04:16.000 So I started looking into UFO experiences in 2012.
00:04:22.000 And yeah, so lots of stuff is new, okay?
00:04:28.000 I didn't think that he had a very satisfying explanation as to why he would say, I think they are demons.
00:04:35.000 Yeah, I can fill that out.
00:04:36.000 Okay.
00:04:37.000 Okay, or fill that in.
00:04:38.000 All right.
00:04:39.000 So he's coming from the perspective of Catholic theology.
00:04:42.000 So in Catholic theology, there are generally, if you're looking at anomalous phenomena, which they do, supernatural anomalous phenomena, a lot of weird stuff happens within the history of religions.
00:04:54.000 Okay.
00:04:55.000 So they have categories for understanding this stuff.
00:04:59.000 And the categories include three different categories, basically, three different types of things supernatural things.
00:05:08.000 Which they think can't be explained and that they're like miracles.
00:05:12.000 You know, someone terminally ill prays for a saint's intercession and then they become healed, and doctors say, We can't figure that out.
00:05:21.000 That's supernatural.
00:05:22.000 That's a miracle from God.
00:05:23.000 Okay.
00:05:24.000 That's one category.
00:05:26.000 The other category is the natural.
00:05:28.000 So things that are within nature, we can explain them.
00:05:32.000 You know, everybody knows what a natural kind of event is hurricanes and things like that.
00:05:38.000 But there are events that cannot be explained.
00:05:40.000 Explained, but don't merit supernatural, the supernatural category.
00:05:44.000 And those events, by the way, there's a word for it, and they call it the preternatural, okay?
00:05:49.000 The preternatural.
00:05:51.000 And this has been a category that Catholics have had since at least the medieval time period. 0.81
00:05:56.000 And because they're trying to figure out, you know, if, let's just talk about UFOs.
00:06:00.000 If UFOs are here now, most likely they've been around for a long time.
00:06:04.000 And so whatever Catholics were seeing in the medieval time period, they had categories for trying to understand it, just like we're trying to have too.
00:06:13.000 And so they say, The theologians at the time said, like Aquinas, Thomas Aquinas, he said, okay, the preternatural, these are events that happen and they're either angelic, like, you know, good things like that, or demonic,
00:06:29.000 which are fallen angels, or other things, because God has created other things other than, you know, he's created the unseen and the seen, some things that we can't see.
00:06:39.000 So in the preternatural, there happens to be experiences that people have with things that seem to be similar.
00:06:48.000 To what people talk about when they're talking about being abducted by UFOs, beings that appear and disappear, beings that can seemingly read your mind.
00:07:00.000 So, this would be the theological category that Catholics have called the preternatural.
00:07:04.000 And I think that's what JD Vance was trying to get at.
00:07:08.000 But why would you call that a demon?
00:07:10.000 Okay, so this is a good question.
00:07:12.000 And that's where I'm going to kind of like help push back on you, and then you could push back on me again.
00:07:18.000 All right.
00:07:18.000 So, the fact is that we don't know.
00:07:22.000 Okay, we don't know.
00:07:22.000 So there are analogous experiences that people have.
00:07:27.000 Now that I've been doing this since 2012, a long time, it is beyond a doubt that there's a pattern match between people who have these experiences and people who have demonic experiences.
00:07:40.000 That's an analogy, but that doesn't prove that they're identical.
00:07:44.000 When you say pattern match, what do you mean?
00:07:45.000 Yeah, so I'm talking about what people actually experience.
00:07:48.000 So when people have these experiences, what happens to them?
00:07:52.000 They.
00:07:53.000 They report things like things appearing and disappearing, luminous lights, okay, lights showing up, aerial phenomena.
00:08:01.000 They also report beings, beings that can somehow read their minds.
00:08:06.000 They also report that sometimes they feel like these beings put thoughts in their minds, okay?
00:08:13.000 These are all things that Catholics who know the history would say, wow, that sounds like this kind of situation.
00:08:21.000 Does that mean it is that situation?
00:08:23.000 There's no, no, we can't say that it is.
00:08:25.000 And that's where your point is relevant.
00:08:27.000 Your point is that how do we know that they're demons?
00:08:30.000 We don't know that they're demons.
00:08:32.000 But it warrants an investigation, I think, into the similarities.
00:08:38.000 Okay, but when you think about demons, most people think about evil.
00:08:43.000 They think about something that does horrible things to you, possession, you know, something that causes you to murder people, or something that wants to murder you, or something that wants to steal your soul.
00:08:55.000 That doesn't seem at all like what we're talking about with these UFO experiences.
00:09:01.000 What it seems like is you're encountering something that has a superior intelligence, of superior technology, something that's very different that communicates telepathically, but they don't seem to have vicious intentions.
00:09:16.000 So I don't understand the distinction.
00:09:19.000 I don't understand why you would call that a demon unless you're just using that in this old school term because the people that were experiencing this supposedly.
00:09:30.000 Or, assumedly, when we're talking about ancient times and they didn't have words for it and they didn't know what they were experiencing, they would call that a demon.
00:09:38.000 Yeah.
00:09:39.000 Okay.
00:09:39.000 So, this is a really good comment.
00:09:41.000 And this is something that I'd agree with you like in before 2016.
00:09:47.000 I'd say, yeah, you're right.
00:09:48.000 What changed?
00:09:49.000 Okay.
00:09:51.000 I did a lot of research.
00:09:54.000 And what I found was that, let's take an example because examples are good a Skinwalker Ranch.
00:10:01.000 So, there are a lot of people who are associated with looking into UFOs who are well known to UFO people who work at Skinwalker Ranch.
00:10:13.000 Okay.
00:10:14.000 So, I learned about Skinwalker Ranch pretty early on, 2013 or so.
00:10:18.000 And I learned about it from Gary, Gary Nolan.
00:10:22.000 All right.
00:10:23.000 So, he said, he was talking to me about it.
00:10:26.000 He said, Yeah, a lot of my friends are working out there and they want me to go out there and do some study of what's going on.
00:10:31.000 There's anomalous phenomena.
00:10:33.000 They think it's.
00:10:34.000 Associated with UFOs because UFOs show up and this and that.
00:10:38.000 And I said, Oh, are you going to go out there?
00:10:40.000 And he said, No, I'm not going out there.
00:10:43.000 And so I was like, Well, okay, why?
00:10:46.000 And he said, Because it's really negative.
00:10:48.000 The things that happen to people, they get something called the hitchhiker effect.
00:10:53.000 And so the hitchhiker effect is when this scary stuff that's associated with like a haunted place follows you home.
00:11:01.000 Right.
00:11:01.000 I've heard of that before.
00:11:02.000 Yeah.
00:11:03.000 The hitchhiker effect.
00:11:05.000 I think it's called the hitchhiker syndrome or something.
00:11:07.000 And so I met a lot of people who had this happen to them who had had UFO experiences.
00:11:13.000 So I would say that no, not all UFO experiences are like that, but enough of them are like that for me not to ever have one.
00:11:23.000 And also to associate the preternatural, that's what I started to understand that, well, the preternatural is still the best category that we have for looking at this, because not all preternatural phenomena, even for Catholics, is negative.
00:11:38.000 Some of this is actually really positive.
00:11:38.000 Right?
00:11:40.000 But the problem is that human beings have a hard time figuring out, like, you know, it could be deceptive.
00:11:47.000 This is another thing where Gary Nolan comes in.
00:11:50.000 He was on Tucker Carlson, I don't know, like four years ago or something.
00:11:55.000 And he said, and I've talked to him about this too.
00:11:59.000 Tucker asked him about, well, what do these things, you know, what do they say?
00:12:02.000 And he goes, oh, they lie.
00:12:04.000 They're deceptive.
00:12:05.000 And he's a guy who doesn't have a dog in the race in terms of religion.
00:12:10.000 Like he's not, you know, affiliated with any religion.
00:12:13.000 So, you know.
00:12:15.000 Well, when he said they lie, like what specific examples does he have of them lying?
00:12:19.000 Okay.
00:12:20.000 So listen, when we start to look at this thing, Type of situation with, you know, these experiences and so forth.
00:12:26.000 What a Catholic would do, like what a Catholic priest would do, would be to identify if there's deceit happening, to identify if there are negative effects, and, you know,
00:12:39.000 because there's criteria for looking at the preternatural.
00:12:43.000 And so a lot of things that happen are when you have, you know, these abductions,
00:12:52.000 which some people view as positive, but some people don't.
00:12:55.000 They don't like these.
00:12:57.000 Abductions.
00:12:58.000 So, yeah, they'll say things that aren't true.
00:13:00.000 For what?
00:13:03.000 They'll say, like, okay, I'll take an example.
00:13:03.000 I don't know.
00:13:07.000 I'm not going to out any experiencers that I know, but I know a lot.
00:13:12.000 So, at this point, I've had, like, I don't know, about a thousand people talk to me about their experiences.
00:13:19.000 So, one in particular regularly gets prophetic messages, some of which come true, most of which are not true.
00:13:29.000 Okay.
00:13:30.000 That means when you have one or two prophetic messages given to you by an anomalous being or whatnot, and it comes true, you're willing maybe to believe it, right?
00:13:42.000 Oh, this is telling me good information.
00:13:46.000 But then they start not to come true.
00:13:49.000 And then if that person makes this public, that person then is, you know, people associate them with falsehood and deceit.
00:14:00.000 And that's not a positive thing.
00:14:01.000 Okay.
00:14:01.000 But have you taken into consideration the That this person might be mentally ill?
00:14:06.000 Of course, of course.
00:14:07.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:14:08.000 So, this idea that they're getting all of these, like, whatever it is, visions, I mean, how are they receiving this information?
00:14:16.000 Are they receiving it telepathically?
00:14:19.000 Like, when you say prophetic?
00:14:21.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:14:22.000 So, there are different.
00:14:23.000 So, you asked me what kinds of people, like, what they would say, right?
00:14:29.000 If these things are deceiving them, so they have these prophetic visions, right?
00:14:33.000 How are these visions.
00:14:36.000 Manifesting themselves in their mind.
00:14:37.000 Yeah.
00:14:38.000 Is it coming as a voice?
00:14:39.000 Are they seeing an event happen?
00:14:42.000 Okay.
00:14:44.000 So there are a variety of ways in which people receive this type of information, like prophetic information.
00:14:53.000 I would say that some people actually see things and the beings like impart telepathically, like mind to mind transmission, something.
00:15:01.000 This is going to happen.
00:15:03.000 And then they believe it.
00:15:04.000 Okay.
00:15:05.000 This happens within, like, Angel events like Marian apparitions happen to you know people, it happens to people in abductions as well.
00:15:14.000 And you know, I mean, that's what happens to them.
00:15:18.000 They see things, they sometimes have visions in their dreams.
00:15:21.000 So, there are a variety of ways that people, right?
00:15:25.000 But let's stop right there.
00:15:26.000 Visions in their dreams could also just be dreams.
00:15:30.000 Like, how can they just make a distinction between just dreams, like, oh, Godzilla was chasing me, I was on a skateboard, I ran into my cousin, we hid in his basement.
00:15:39.000 And then I woke up.
00:15:40.000 Like, that's just a dream.
00:15:41.000 That's not a prophecy.
00:15:42.000 And if they're having those dreams as well as these visionary dreams that they think are inspired by some entity, how are they making the distinction between the two of them if both of them exist at the same time in the same person's mind?
00:15:57.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:15:58.000 So within the culture of, within our culture, we tend to put dreams in the same category.
00:16:04.000 We say the dream about Godzilla is like, you know, all dreams are the same, right?
00:16:09.000 They're either bad dreams or good dreams or neutral.
00:16:12.000 There are other cultures that distinguish different types of dreams.
00:16:16.000 And within the Western culture, there have been times when people have distinguished different types of dreams.
00:16:22.000 Like, say, you take the Old Testament or Hebrew Bible.
00:16:25.000 You have Joseph, right?
00:16:26.000 Joseph is a guy who's going to be big, he's a prophet.
00:16:31.000 And he has dreams where he's able to tell the future.
00:16:35.000 And he's able to distinguish between those dreams.
00:16:38.000 So within certain cultures, even cultures today, like different religious cultures, they have distinctions.
00:16:45.000 The Martu in They have, you know, they talk about the dream time.
00:16:52.000 So we're kind of a culture that puts all dreams in the same category.
00:16:56.000 And granted, that's true.
00:16:58.000 In terms of discussing whether or not people are mentally ill, Travis Walton's not mentally ill.
00:17:03.000 Right.
00:17:04.000 But Travis Walton is not having prophecies.
00:17:06.000 No, I know.
00:17:07.000 But he's one that doesn't.
00:17:09.000 And there are others who do.
00:17:11.000 I understand.
00:17:12.000 But we got to this place because you were talking about beings that deceive.
00:17:15.000 So I'm saying that not all of them deceive, but I'm saying that.
00:17:15.000 Yes.
00:17:20.000 I'm trying to explain.
00:17:21.000 I'm trying to ask you.
00:17:23.000 How are they deceiving?
00:17:23.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:17:24.000 Well, I just told you.
00:17:26.000 So they'll be giving people information about the future, some of which is correct and some of which is not.
00:17:32.000 Okay.
00:17:32.000 So how are they giving them this information?
00:17:33.000 Are they giving it to them telepathically or is it coming to them in a vision and a dream?
00:17:38.000 It's the.
00:17:38.000 They're two very different things, right?
00:17:40.000 Yeah, but it could be both depending on the instance.
00:17:43.000 But if it's in a dream, how do they know it's coming from this entity and not just a dream?
00:17:43.000 Right.
00:17:47.000 That's my point.
00:17:48.000 Like if they're saying that they're being deceived.
00:17:50.000 Well, a lot of them won't.
00:17:52.000 Make that distinction.
00:17:53.000 And so that's where you need a.
00:17:56.000 The abductees won't make that distinction.
00:17:58.000 Because they've never had this happen to them before.
00:18:01.000 So, of course, they're going to think this is true.
00:18:03.000 But my position is that be careful because we don't know if it's true or if it's not.
00:18:10.000 But I mean, how are you making the distinction between what is just their imagination and them being deceived?
00:18:10.000 Right.

00:19:12.000 This ad and the products being advertised are intended for a United States audience.
00:19:17.000 Right.
00:19:17.000 That's the good question.
00:19:20.000 I don't know.
00:19:20.000 So, how is Gary Nolan saying they lie?
00:19:23.000 Well, he's taking data and he's saying that.
00:19:27.000 They're saying this info, you know, they're telling these people this information and it's wrong information.
00:19:33.000 And it's wrong information.
00:19:35.000 And so he's not making, you know, he's not trying to make a big claim.
00:19:40.000 He's just basically saying, you know, Tucker asks him why, you know, what kind of things are they saying?
00:19:45.000 And he said, well, they're being deceived, right?
00:19:47.000 They say deceitful things.
00:19:49.000 And my point, by the way, getting back to the original.
00:19:52.000 All right, but it would be, it's very frustrating.
00:19:54.000 Go ahead.
00:19:54.000 No, no, I know you're frustrated.
00:19:56.000 But the original question here is what is JD Vance talking about when he's saying these are.
00:20:03.000 Demons.
00:20:03.000 And I'm trying to explain that he's referencing this theological category that has been around for a long time.
00:20:10.000 And that is actually quite useful in adjudicating what's going on when people are having these experiences now.
00:20:17.000 I'm saying that I'm not trying to propose that these are like experiences.
00:20:22.000 Honestly, I wouldn't want them to happen to me.
00:20:24.000 And I don't wish them upon anyone.
00:20:26.000 But some people.
00:20:27.000 You wouldn't want to meet an alien?
00:20:30.000 Not the aliens that people seem to be meeting.
00:20:34.000 Which one would you like to meet?
00:20:35.000 Well, I don't know.
00:20:36.000 I mean, hypothetically, like, I'm not scared.
00:20:39.000 I like to put it out there.
00:20:39.000 I'm down.
00:20:40.000 If they want to meet me, I'm down.
00:20:42.000 Okay.
00:20:42.000 I'd love to meet one.
00:20:43.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:20:44.000 Yeah.
00:20:45.000 I mean, I want to know.
00:20:46.000 I'm not scared.
00:20:48.000 They don't seem to steal you, they don't take you away and never bring you back.
00:20:54.000 They just interact with you.
00:20:56.000 I'm down with that.
00:20:58.000 I mean, we have to distinguish between, yeah, go for it.
00:21:01.000 Meet an agent.
00:21:02.000 You wouldn't want that?
00:21:02.000 You don't want that?
00:21:04.000 Look, if you are a person who writes books about aliens, yes, I do write books.
00:21:10.000 Well, somewhat about aliens.
00:21:11.000 I write about the religion about aliens.
00:21:14.000 Yes, but a lot of the subject matter has to do with extraterrestrial intelligence or whatever it is.
00:21:21.000 Yeah, we don't know what it is.
00:21:22.000 It might not be extraterrestrial, it might be interdimensional.
00:21:26.000 Or it might be here something that's of a superior intellect that's been here all along.
00:21:32.000 And it might be something within the category of the preternatural.
00:21:36.000 Right.
00:21:37.000 Yeah.
00:21:37.000 So my point is that if it is, if it, whatever it is, I, you're right.
00:21:43.000 I've been studying it and I can say that if those are the aliens, no, I don't want to meet them.
00:21:49.000 If the, if they're the ones that like people have come and told me about and said, I wish this never happened to me, you know, then no, I don't want to meet the same person.
00:21:57.000 Right.
00:21:58.000 But that's, it's different people, right?
00:22:00.000 And different people have different tolerances for experiences.
00:22:05.000 And when someone says, I wish this didn't happen to me, it's because they can't handle it.
00:22:10.000 And whereas other people might be able to handle it?
00:22:14.000 Maybe, but look at the things that the fighter pilots, like David Fravor and.
00:22:20.000 They don't seem to have a problem with it.
00:22:22.000 They're not saying, I wish this never happened to me.
00:22:24.000 No, but they are saying that this looks pretty dangerous.
00:22:26.000 I wouldn't want it to.
00:22:27.000 First, I hope that this isn't an enemy technology.
00:22:32.000 Yes.
00:22:32.000 They're like, if our enemies have this technology, it's done.
00:22:36.000 It's game over.
00:22:37.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:22:38.000 So that's scary.
00:22:41.000 And if it's not, then it's definitely something that we should take notice of, right?
00:22:47.000 So, if that's what's in our skies.
00:22:50.000 And there have been reports of people, there is an Australian report of pilots who have passed away because of this type of thing, like they died and so forth.
00:22:59.000 So, how sad.
00:23:01.000 I can't actually remember what it is, but it's a report of an Australian young guy who encountered something in the sky.
00:23:12.000 And he was never found again.
00:23:14.000 He was just, you know, what happened?
00:23:16.000 I don't know.
00:23:18.000 And he disappeared in the sky?
00:23:20.000 Yeah.
00:23:21.000 And there are.
00:23:21.000 With a jet?
00:23:23.000 I don't know if he disappeared with a jet.
00:23:25.000 I wish you knew more about this story.
00:23:26.000 I know, I know.
00:23:28.000 Maybe someone could get it up for us and we can look at it.
00:23:30.000 But it's a really famous.
00:23:31.000 It's a really famous Australian report.
00:23:35.000 Here it is.
00:23:36.000 It's 1978, 20 year old Australian pilot Frederick Valentik.
00:23:41.000 I think it's Valentik.
00:23:41.000 Valentik?
00:23:43.000 Valentik took off on a routine training flight over Bass Strait.
00:23:47.000 Everything seemed normal until his radio transmissions began.
00:23:50.000 Valentik reported a strange aircraft hovering above him with four bright lights and metallic surfaces moving at impossible speeds.
00:23:57.000 Then came his final chilling words It's not an aircraft.
00:24:01.000 After that, he vanished completely.
00:24:02.000 His Cessna was never found.
00:24:04.000 Despite extensive searches, and no trace of him was ever recovered.
00:24:08.000 Radar had detected another object in the area, but never interacted with other flights.
00:24:12.000 To this day, no one knows if Valentin crashed, got lost, or encountered something far more mysterious.
00:24:19.000 Even decades later, this remains one of aviation's most baffling disappearances, and the last words of a terrified pilot still haunt those who hear them.
00:24:26.000 So there's one guy.
00:24:29.000 I don't know.
00:24:30.000 You can go meet that one, Joe.
00:24:33.000 And you know what?
00:24:33.000 I think that.
00:24:34.000 Maybe he's like in a cool place right now.
00:24:36.000 All right.
00:24:37.000 Just chilling.
00:24:38.000 Having a good time in another dimension, hanging out with these creatures, and they're explaining to him the future of the universe.
00:24:44.000 But you know, that the thing about what I do is I have a lot of information that people impart to me that I can't actually talk about, right?
00:24:54.000 And that sadly happens to people in.
00:24:57.000 Because they ask you not to?
00:24:58.000 Yeah, they say, I need help with this, or this is my experience, and I don't want it public, and so forth.
00:25:03.000 I mean, even without disclosing their name?
00:25:06.000 No, no, I know who they are.
00:25:09.000 And so, I've had people who are pilots talk to me.
00:25:12.000 Is this, by the way, coffee?
00:25:13.000 This is ice cold coffee.
00:25:15.000 How's it cold?
00:25:16.000 What?
00:25:17.000 It's ice cold.
00:25:17.000 I've boiled it twice.
00:25:18.000 This coffee.
00:25:19.000 I'll try to make it again.
00:25:20.000 I mean, I made it today.
00:25:21.000 I've made it.
00:25:22.000 It's ice cold.
00:25:22.000 I've boiled the last one.
00:25:23.000 That's crazy.
00:25:23.000 It's literally ice cold.
00:25:24.000 That's weird.
00:25:25.000 I'll make it.
00:25:26.000 Yeah, I hit the button twice.
00:25:26.000 Are you sure?
00:25:28.000 It definitely didn't work.
00:25:31.000 It definitely didn't work.
00:25:34.000 It's like cold water.
00:25:35.000 Yeah, I'll start it over.
00:25:37.000 Here, I got more information.
00:25:37.000 How weird.
00:25:39.000 A couple more descriptions from that.
00:25:40.000 Maybe it's aliens.
00:25:42.000 They're deceiving us. 1.00
00:25:43.000 They fuck with Jamie's cold water. 0.99
00:25:47.000 7 06 p.m. Valentin contacted the Melbourne air traffic controller Steve Roby, reporting an unidentified aircraft trailing him at about 4,500 feet. 0.99
00:25:55.000 Over the next several minutes, he described a long, shiny, metallic object with a green light.
00:26:00.000 The craft appeared to be orbiting above him, it was moving at high speed and playing some sort of game.
00:26:06.000 His engine became rough idling and coughing.
00:26:09.000 His final words that strange aircraft is hovering on top of me again.
00:26:13.000 It's hovering and it's not an aircraft.
00:26:16.000 The transmission ended with 17 seconds of metallic scraping or keying sounds, then silence.
00:26:24.000 So, yeah, so this isn't.
00:26:27.000 So, pilots and families of pilots have told me things similar to this, not as dramatic, maybe.
00:26:34.000 Can you get another cup, too?
00:26:35.000 I poured cold coffee in this.
00:26:38.000 So, similar.
00:26:41.000 And so, I guess I just, you know, it looks pretty grim.
00:26:46.000 That guy.
00:26:47.000 That one.
00:26:49.000 Yeah.
00:26:49.000 Yeah.
00:26:50.000 And there are other things.
00:26:51.000 It's like the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
00:26:53.000 I've always wondered how much of that movie was.
00:26:57.000 There's so much of that that was based on previous UFO encounters and even figures like Jacques Valet.
00:27:04.000 Jacques Valet plays in.
00:27:06.000 The French scientist in that movie is based on Jacques Valet.
00:27:10.000 Yes.
00:27:12.000 And there's scenes where these pilots show up from like World War I, you know, and they've been gone forever and now they're back.
00:27:21.000 And they haven't lost any time.
00:27:22.000 I've always wondered, like, how much of this is based on stories and reports and folklore or whatever the government knew.
00:27:31.000 Yeah, I think that it's based on stories and things that they, like, Jacques has heard and so forth.
00:27:38.000 And by the way, Jacques thinks it's deceptive, too.
00:27:41.000 So his idea, he spent, of course, his whole life studying this.
00:27:44.000 And he wrote a book called Messengers of Deception.
00:27:47.000 Yeah.
00:27:48.000 I think I read that one.
00:27:49.000 Yeah.
00:27:50.000 So, you know, once you do.
00:27:51.000 I read a bunch of his books.
00:27:53.000 John Keel.
00:27:54.000 John Keel, it doesn't have a Good idea about these things at all.
00:27:58.000 Thinks they're pretty nasty.
00:28:00.000 Doesn't want them.
00:28:01.000 You know, the Mothman prophecy?
00:28:03.000 Yeah, so he wrote that, and that movie is based on his life.
00:28:09.000 And he's down on it.
00:28:11.000 He's a doomer with respect to aliens.
00:28:13.000 How so?
00:28:14.000 What is his perspective?
00:28:15.000 Okay, I'm going to give it to you right now.
00:28:17.000 All right.
00:28:18.000 Give it to me right now.
00:28:18.000 Okay.
00:28:19.000 All right.
00:28:20.000 So he calls this, it reminds me of Catholicism in the sense that he has a category for it.
00:28:26.000 It's called basically the super spectrum.
00:28:30.000 And it's here with us now, just like you said.
00:28:30.000 Okay.
00:28:33.000 It's around us.
00:28:35.000 But you and I can't see it.
00:28:37.000 But some people do see it.
00:28:39.000 And some people interact with it and have, like, it breaks into their reality.
00:28:43.000 And for those people, he thinks that they're unlucky because all the things that happened to them, like men in black show up. 0.86
00:28:52.000 He thinks things like the beginning of all religions is basically about someone who had an interface with a para being, like one of these para humans.
00:29:01.000 In the super spectrum. 1.00
00:29:03.000 So it's kind of like an invisible reality all around us, according to John Keel.
00:29:07.000 John Keel was a pal of Jacques Vallee's.
00:29:10.000 He's passed away, but his books are really amazing.
00:29:13.000 And if you want to get an idea about the super spectrum and the phenomena, you should watch that movie of his called Mothman Prophecies.
00:29:21.000 It's really good.
00:29:23.000 And so this super spectrum, what does he think that is?
00:29:28.000 So he thinks that it's like a space.
00:29:33.000 All around us.
00:29:34.000 It's been here forever.
00:29:36.000 It controls us.
00:29:37.000 It controls humanity because it sends things like he thinks UFOs are part of it.
00:29:43.000 He thinks Virgin Mary apparitions are part of it.
00:29:46.000 He thinks ghosts are part of it.
00:29:48.000 So any kind of woo thing is there in the super spectrum.
00:29:53.000 And sometimes some people have the ability to see what's in the super spectrum.
00:29:59.000 And he thinks they're cursed.
00:30:01.000 Now he thinks angels are part of the super spectrum.
00:30:04.000 So he doesn't make any kind of distinction between the good things.
00:30:07.000 Things in it and the bad things.
00:30:08.000 He said they're all bad.
00:30:10.000 If there's one that appears to be good, it's actually bad.
00:30:14.000 So, again, he started, you know, he was kind of like a Charles Fort type guy.
00:30:18.000 So, he started to get a lot of these, you know, these events and he studied them and everything like that. 0.66
00:30:25.000 And over years, he developed a theory that these were nasty things and that they were like, even if they appeared good and that they were at the beginning of all religions, all religions come from the super spectrum.
00:30:39.000 Obviously, not that part about how it's like Catholicism, but you know, religions tend to have theological categories that talk about things like the super spectrum.
00:30:48.000 So, what Jacques talks about in his books sounds very similar to his control mechanism and is very similar to John Keel's idea.
00:30:59.000 What seems like just speculating, but it seems like we're dealing with a very limited framework that we operate in.
00:31:08.000 We as human beings operate.
00:31:10.000 Do you want to take this, Jamie?
00:31:11.000 Do you need this?
00:31:12.000 Okay.
00:31:14.000 That we operate in this world of the senses that we possess sight, sound, feel, touch, all that smell.
00:31:23.000 We have these senses for understanding what's around us, but only those.
00:31:28.000 And it's not capable of detecting everything that is reality, everything that is the universe, everything that is from subatomic particles to whatever the fuck it is that we haven't even discovered yet.
00:31:42.000 That's all around us all the time.
00:31:44.000 And so if there is.
00:31:48.000 The potential for other realms or other dimensions, and these things exist in some sort of a space where they can interact and traverse in between these dimensions and interact with us at will whenever we can.
00:32:04.000 We're kind of left in this speculation space where when people have these very novel and unique experiences, like Travis Walton, and then we're supposed to go, okay, did that happen?
00:32:19.000 It didn't happen to me, but is he telling the truth?
00:32:21.000 Okay, maybe he is.
00:32:24.000 If he is, well, let's see if he lies about other things.
00:32:27.000 Well, he doesn't seem to lie.
00:32:28.000 He's been around a long time.
00:32:30.000 Travis has been around for a long time telling that story, like almost 50 years now, right?
00:32:35.000 Like, when was his experience?
00:32:38.000 I thought it was, yeah, like long time years.
00:32:39.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:32:41.000 You would think he would have a few other fibs.
00:32:44.000 I agree.
00:32:45.000 I agree.
00:32:46.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:32:46.000 And he doesn't.
00:32:47.000 If it was a lie, and I don't think it is, but if it was, that's a big lie to have only one.
00:32:52.000 Yeah.
00:32:53.000 Only one crazy cockamamie lie from 1970, whatever it was.
00:32:58.000 See, what you're doing is this is part of their criteria for assessing these kinds of events.
00:33:04.000 Okay.
00:33:05.000 It's called, you know, taking time.
00:33:07.000 Right.
00:33:07.000 So over time, so when an anomalous event happens within, like, say, Christian culture or whatnot.
00:33:16.000 Thank you very much, Jamie.
00:33:17.000 Appreciate it.
00:33:19.000 The cold is all right, but it's like, it's crazy.
00:33:21.000 It's nice and cold.
00:33:23.000 That is weird.
00:33:23.000 Hmm.
00:33:24.000 Yeah.
00:33:25.000 Dude, something's going on.
00:33:27.000 Put your finger in it.
00:33:28.000 Feel how cold it is.
00:33:29.000 It's cold like cold water.
00:33:30.000 I understand.
00:33:31.000 I know what happened.
00:33:32.000 Oh, do you?
00:33:33.000 Yeah. 0.64
00:33:34.000 You have to hit the start button to make it boil.
00:33:34.000 What happened?
00:33:36.000 I didn't hit the start button.
00:33:38.000 Oh, user error.
00:33:40.000 But it beeped.
00:33:40.000 I thought you said that.
00:33:41.000 That did.
00:33:42.000 That did.
00:33:42.000 Oh.
00:33:43.000 Because it was turning off.
00:33:44.000 Okay, this is hot.
00:33:45.000 Here we go.
00:33:48.000 My bad.
00:33:53.000 Quiet as the French press.
00:33:55.000 Where were we?
00:33:58.000 Categories.
00:33:59.000 Oh, yeah, yeah.
00:34:00.000 You were basically just making a move.
00:34:02.000 Once more.
00:34:02.000 A strategy.
00:34:04.000 Yeah, sure.
00:34:04.000 Thank you.
00:34:07.000 Yeah, like looking at something like, I mean, that's my perspective on Bob Lazar.
00:34:12.000 You know, Bob Lazar has been telling the exact same story forever.
00:34:15.000 I've had many conversations with Bob.
00:34:17.000 I've had dinner with him.
00:34:18.000 I've hung out with him a few times.
00:34:19.000 I've had dinner with him several times.
00:34:20.000 I've hung out with him in the studio.
00:34:22.000 He showed us that most recent documentary before it was released with Luigi, the guy who made it with him. 1.00
00:34:30.000 I don't, you know, I know a lot of people that are full shit. 1.00
00:34:34.000 I meet a lot of people that are full shit. 1.00
00:34:35.000 I've had people sit here in front of me, and then somewhere in the conversation, I'm like, oh, this person's not being honest. 1.00
00:34:41.000 This is, this is some, they've got an agenda, they're pushing some, or they're pretending they know some things because it sounds good, but they don't really know some things.
00:34:50.000 I get real suspicious of people.
00:34:51.000 I'm not suspicious of him.
00:34:53.000 It's weird.
00:34:55.000 He's obviously incredibly intelligent and very well studied when it comes to science, when it comes to whatever it is, whether it's elements, particles.
00:35:11.000 He understands what he's talking about in a very deep way.
00:35:15.000 When he's explaining these experiences, when he talks about this craft and his experiences at S4, he seems to be telling the truth.
00:35:24.000 Since then, we know, first of all, that No one knew about S4 back then, but he did.
00:35:31.000 He knew where it was.
00:35:32.000 He knew exactly where it was.
00:35:34.000 And he knew about the flights that take people out there.
00:35:37.000 He had a total understanding of Los Alamos Labs.
00:35:43.000 I mean, he went there.
00:35:44.000 He knew the people that worked there.
00:35:46.000 He knew how to get around the building.
00:35:48.000 When George Knapp took him there, he knew everything about the facility.
00:35:52.000 Yet they claimed that he never worked there.
00:35:54.000 And then they found him on the employee roster.
00:35:57.000 So he did work there.
00:35:58.000 So they lied and they tried to cover up.
00:36:00.000 Why would they lie?
00:36:01.000 And say that he didn't work there.
00:36:03.000 Yeah. 0.99
00:36:03.000 Well, probably because he was involved in some shit that they wanted to keep secret. 0.99
00:36:08.000 Yeah, yeah, that's right. 0.98
00:36:09.000 There's a lot of weirdness to the Bob Lazar story.
00:36:13.000 And then when you see some of the footage that was released, particularly after the New York Times story of 2017, the footage that's released mirrors the way he describes this craft operating.
00:36:26.000 Yeah.
00:36:26.000 And so, how would he guess correctly in 1989?
00:36:31.000 Those are all good points.
00:36:33.000 So, yeah, I told you last time I was on here that.
00:36:36.000 Tyler, right, in my American Cosmic book, told me that he was the real deal.
00:36:43.000 Even though I had people who, you know, Eric Davis, and, you know, telling me, no, Diana, this guy's, no, no.
00:36:49.000 I believe Tyler.
00:36:50.000 So everything that you say, I agree with.
00:36:52.000 Yeah.
00:36:53.000 I don't know. 0.99
00:36:54.000 I mean, You're always going to have people when you have a fantastic story like Bob Lazar's story, you're always going to have people that want to say that the guy's full of shit, that there's something wrong. 0.99
00:37:03.000 He's lying. 0.99
00:37:04.000 It's not true.
00:37:05.000 It's fake.
00:37:06.000 But I mean, Eric Davis would be a person who might know, right?
00:37:08.000 So, he's a physicist who studies this and even briefs Congress on.
00:37:14.000 But no, so I don't know.
00:37:18.000 I tend to, when Tyler tells me things, and now that everything he said kind of has come true, I believe him.
00:37:25.000 You know, I believe that it's true.
00:37:28.000 But if Bob Lazar is telling the truth, it's so disturbing the idea that there's a group of humans that operate in our government that have information that the general public does not have.
00:37:41.000 And that they're the gatekeepers of this information, and they've determined for whatever reason that either it's not wise to tell people or it wouldn't benefit them to tell people.
00:37:52.000 Like, whatever it is, I think it's a crime against humanity.
00:37:56.000 I think if you're a person that knows for a fact that there's something here other than us that either visits us or exists amongst us or travels here from another dimension, I think you have an obligation to tell people.
00:38:11.000 But what if it's not that?
00:38:13.000 What if it's actually something we've created and we don't want anybody to know about it, and Lazar happened to find out, and that's why we don't want.
00:38:22.000 You know, I mean, think about it from the perspective of people who are trying to keep Americans safe.
00:38:26.000 So just to push back a bit.
00:38:28.000 Okay, go ahead.
00:38:29.000 You know, what if that's it?
00:38:31.000 So if that's the case, why would they bring a guy in to tell them, how does this work?
00:38:35.000 Show us how this works.
00:38:38.000 Because that was his job.
00:38:39.000 Oh, yeah.
00:38:40.000 They brought him in and said, tell us how this works.
00:38:42.000 And he was like, well, what are you talking about?
00:38:45.000 This is ours.
00:38:46.000 It has an American flag sticker on it.
00:38:48.000 Like, don't you know how it works?
00:38:50.000 Works, why are you asking me how it works?
00:38:54.000 This seems kind of crazy.
00:38:57.000 That's not what you do if you have super advanced technology.
00:39:01.000 What you do is you bring in people to improve it and make it better.
00:39:05.000 You don't bring in people and say, How does it work?
00:39:08.000 Yeah, okay, wait, I have a couple of comments about that.
00:39:12.000 Okay, so when I first started, I was aware that people I wasn't aware as much as I should be.
00:39:21.000 But I was aware that people in my position, you know, who are basically just doing like academic work on the UFO belief, the rising UFO belief, might have people come and give me disinformation.
00:39:31.000 100%.
00:39:32.000 And I have the same situation.
00:39:32.000 Yeah.
00:39:33.000 Of course you do.
00:39:34.000 Yeah.
00:39:34.000 Yeah.
00:39:35.000 So we have to be that you're talking about discernment.
00:39:38.000 Like we have to be super discerning about who's, you know, our BS meter has to like be really well working or working well.
00:39:45.000 Okay.
00:39:46.000 So, but
00:39:48.000 the person who took me out to, The desert, right, with Gary during that time to an alleged crash site, which, you know, Jacques then goes out there.
00:39:59.000 He basically also wants Gary to figure out this debris.
00:40:07.000 And so I'm thinking, we obviously don't know what we have here.
00:40:12.000 If he's at, if it's so legit, it could, okay, so here are my comments about what you just told me about Lazar.
00:40:19.000 Either they're setting up, This situation where they're going to have someone like me and Gary who are like, they're trying to back engineer this, right?
00:40:27.000 And we're saying that publicly without any kind of like knowledge that it could be disinfo.
00:40:34.000 And then they have Lazar who we're going to plant.
00:40:36.000 And they do this like with Benevitz and stuff.
00:40:38.000 They plant stuff for.
00:40:40.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:40:40.000 You know, Benevitz, the guy who had stuff planted in his computer.
00:40:48.000 Do you not know about him?
00:40:49.000 What is this?
00:40:49.000 No.
00:40:50.000 Oh, it's called Project Beta.
00:40:52.000 This is a This is a book a friend of mine wrote about.
00:40:56.000 I can't remember.
00:40:57.000 Oh, Paul Benevitz.
00:40:57.000 Yeah.
00:40:59.000 I've heard his name before.
00:41:00.000 Yeah.
00:41:00.000 You should read this because this is a disinfo scam on this poor guy who.
00:41:05.000 So, Benevitz believed that he had intercepted communications from alien spacecraft and discovered a secret underground facility called Dulce Base.
00:41:14.000 Dulce?
00:41:15.000 Dulce Base?
00:41:16.000 Dulce?
00:41:17.000 Dulce?
00:41:17.000 Is that how you say it?
00:41:19.000 I'd say Dulce.
00:41:20.000 Dulce. 0.98
00:41:21.000 A base managed by aliens in cooperation with the U.S. government.
00:41:25.000 His claims appeared in the popular.
00:41:26.000 Press in the early 1980s.
00:41:27.000 According to some sources, Benevitz was the target of a government disinformation campaign that ultimately led to his psychiatric hospitalization.
00:41:36.000 Author Greg Valdez proposes that Benevitz was targeted for his investigation of cattle mutilations.
00:41:42.000 Valdez argues the mutilations were a government testing program looking at the after effects of radiation from 1967's Project Gas Buggy, in which an underground atomic device was detonated just 21 miles southwest of Dulce.
00:41:58.000 They were testing the cattle to avoid panicking the public.
00:42:03.000 Okay, so this.
00:42:05.000 The problem with that story is cattle mutilations still go on.
00:42:10.000 This is like completely not accurate.
00:42:12.000 This is just a brief Wikipedia about it.
00:42:14.000 There's probably way more to the story.
00:42:15.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:42:16.000 So, you know Doty? 0.64
00:42:18.000 You know Doty, right?
00:42:18.000 Yeah, Doty.
00:42:21.000 The guy who went. 0.92
00:42:22.000 They placed misinformation on his computer so that he believed that he was.
00:42:27.000 They placed it on his computer?
00:42:28.000 Yeah, they placed it on his computer.
00:42:29.000 How so?
00:42:30.000 They went into his house when he wasn't there and put it on there.
00:42:34.000 And what did they put on his computer?
00:42:35.000 They put on all this information about,
00:42:40.000 like, that he was in touch with these aliens.
00:42:42.000 So they basically cultivated his belief that he was in touch with aliens.
00:42:46.000 They did that purposefully.
00:42:48.000 And Doty's first name, oh gosh, I can't remember.
00:42:52.000 Ed Doty?
00:42:53.000 No. 0.99
00:42:54.000 He's really famous within ufology because he's a misinfo guy.
00:42:59.000 He's a misinfo guy.
00:43:00.000 Yeah, so he intentionally placing misinformation out into the public about UFOs, which is a thing.
00:43:08.000 Is he still alive?
00:43:09.000 Yeah, he's still alive.
00:43:11.000 And that's what he does for sure?
00:43:13.000 Richard Doe.
00:43:13.000 He used to.
00:43:14.000 Yeah, Richard Doe.
00:43:15.000 Yeah, he for sure does that.
00:43:17.000 How do you know he does that?
00:43:18.000 What do you mean?
00:43:19.000 Everybody.
00:43:20.000 What do you mean?
00:43:20.000 What do you mean?
00:43:21.000 I'm surprised you don't know.
00:43:22.000 Well, I'm speaking sometimes when I talk, I'm speaking for the entire public that probably doesn't know what we're talking about.
00:43:29.000 And I think it's probably good that we fill them in.
00:43:31.000 Yeah, sorry, sorry.
00:43:32.000 Okay, so Richard Doty has come out and said this is what he does.
00:43:37.000 And I know people who know him, like the entire group in the Invisible College people with Hal, and they all know who he is.
00:43:44.000 Okay.
00:43:45.000 And Kit offered to introduce him to me, by the way.
00:43:48.000 Cape Green.
00:43:49.000 So, and I, and by the way, all of these people are people who work on the program ATIP and so forth to study UFOs.
00:43:59.000 But my point though here in talking about this was what if Lazar was a person like me and Gary who was being given information, were credible, right?
00:44:11.000 He's not so credible, but like, you know, he's this person that's been given information and placed out there so that, and he's just on the edge of credibility.
00:44:22.000 Just so, you know, he's credible, but then he's not credible so that he could be taken down if necessary.
00:44:27.000 That's how they get this information out there.
00:44:29.000 Now, who am I talking about?
00:44:31.000 They.
00:44:31.000 So, what I'm trying to say is that what I've observed is that the government isn't unified in this whole UFO thing.
00:44:40.000 They're fighting against each other.
00:44:42.000 I try to stay out of their crosshairs, frankly.
00:44:45.000 What they're doing, though, is that every time somebody comes out and says, you know, here are the new UFO files, I'm studying them and so forth, then they get taken out.
00:44:54.000 By like counterintelligence.
00:44:56.000 So it's like intelligence and counterintelligence.
00:44:58.000 So that it's really confusing.
00:45:00.000 The end result is total confusion, and you really have to have an ability to understand, like your discernment has to be well developed.
00:45:11.000 Right.
00:45:12.000 So I believe that.
00:45:14.000 I believe that there is disinformation and deception. 0.89
00:45:18.000 I think that's a great strategy if you want to make something look ridiculous.
00:45:23.000 You take truth. 0.94
00:45:24.000 And then you attach a bunch of fantastic, ridiculous claims to that truth.
00:45:29.000 And so that it dismisses all of it, right?
00:45:32.000 Because it's all in the same category and it's all easily debunked.
00:45:36.000 Like, oh, this is the same guy that also said that.
00:45:39.000 So this is nonsense, right?
00:45:41.000 That's exactly right.
00:45:43.000 Tyler used to say, we hide truth in a circle of confusion.
00:45:47.000 Yeah.
00:45:49.000 Which makes sense if they're trying to.
00:45:51.000 Yeah, that's what they do, right?
00:45:53.000 I mean, I don't know anymore.
00:45:55.000 Like today, like Jacques at one point.
00:45:59.000 Many years ago, he decided that the field of ufology was so confusing that he wanted to go back before the Industrial Revolution and do UFOs from a long time ago.
00:46:12.000 And he wrote Wonders in the Sky, all about that, stopped at like, I think it was like 1860 or something like that.
00:46:19.000 Right.
00:46:19.000 And so he did that.
00:46:20.000 And I feel like I've done that too.
00:46:22.000 Like I started that way actually.
00:46:25.000 And I wasn't looking for UFOs.
00:46:27.000 So I saw, you know, so in a sense, I understand that move because.
00:46:31.000 When you say you weren't looking for UFOs, what were you looking for?
00:46:33.000 Oh, well, the first part of my academic career was about looking at souls from purgatory and Catholic things, like what Catholics thought about things that they experienced, like angel contact events.
00:46:48.000 And that's when I started to take a log of these aerial phenomena.
00:46:51.000 I did not know what they were.
00:46:53.000 And so historically, you can see it all over the place in the records that aren't digitized.
00:46:58.000 So there are a lot of records, like people that say, oh, we have, you know, AI has everything.
00:47:04.000 Of human, all of human knowledge?
00:47:06.000 No.
00:47:07.000 Have they never been to an archive?
00:47:09.000 An archive is a really old library.
00:47:11.000 There's a bunch of stuff there that's not digitized and that's still human knowledge.
00:47:16.000 And so, what were you looking for?
00:47:19.000 Oh, okay.
00:47:20.000 So, back then, this is in my book on purgatory.
00:47:23.000 I was looking, I was trying to find out why purgatory was a thing for Catholics for many, many years.
00:47:28.000 And then after the 1960s, people rarely talked about it as much.
00:47:34.000 So, by the way, I'll get a lot of hate from people about this because.
00:47:39.000 Catholics who do do devotions to souls in purgatory for souls in purgatory will say, No, we still do this, Diana.
00:47:46.000 I know that.
00:47:47.000 But the emphasis, like Catholic churches used to have a special place in the church for these devotions, we don't have that here.
00:47:55.000 And so I wanted to know what happened.
00:47:57.000 And so what I did was I spent 10 years going through records and archives all over the place.
00:48:05.000 And I found an answer to that.
00:48:06.000 But I also found a bunch of aerial phenomena that people didn't know.
00:48:11.000 You know, they were like looking up the sky.
00:48:13.000 Two back then.
00:48:14.000 And when they saw something in the sky, they couldn't like place, well, what is this?
00:48:18.000 They'd interpret it as like a soul from purgatory.
00:48:21.000 You know, we need to pray that soul back into purgatory because, you know, sometimes these things would harass people.
00:48:26.000 They'd come down like orbs and harass people.
00:48:29.000 And they just assumed it was like a bad spirit or something like that.
00:48:33.000 So I took all of this down because I thought it was really strange and I didn't want to put it in my book.
00:48:39.000 But I wanted to do something with it at some point.
00:48:42.000 So when I didn't believe in UFOs, I had never thought about UFOs.
00:48:46.000 But I showed the log to a friend after my Purgatory book was published.
00:48:50.000 And he said, Oh, this looks like Steven Spielberg films.
00:48:53.000 And I thought he was crazy.
00:48:55.000 So that's how I started studying UFOs.
00:48:57.000 Oh.
00:48:58.000 Yeah, that's how I got into it.
00:48:59.000 So I was already doing that.
00:49:01.000 Jacques was one of the first people I actually wrote a hard letter to, sent it through the mail to him.
00:49:06.000 And that's how I met him.
00:49:09.000 So Jacques' books, what is interesting is these old stories.
00:49:14.000 Because the old stories that go back to the 1700s and the 1800s, they mirror.
00:49:20.000 These UFO encounters.
00:49:22.000 Yeah, yeah, that's right.
00:49:23.000 That's what my work did.
00:49:25.000 It's a very similar pattern, which is also strange because if you think about human beings, the exponential increase in technological ability that we have just from the 1800s to today,
00:49:41.000 far superior technology.
00:49:43.000 But wouldn't you assume that UFOs would also have this exponential increase in their technological ability?
00:49:51.000 Yeah, definitely.
00:49:52.000 But yet the stories seem very similar.
00:49:55.000 Which is weird, right?
00:49:56.000 Because if it's the same kind of craft and the same kind of experiences and the same kind of, like, wouldn't they get better at it?
00:50:03.000 Like, isn't there, don't they have the same ability to improve?
00:50:08.000 They might be better at it.
00:50:10.000 They might be better at it.
00:50:11.000 We just are not good at ascertaining if they have gotten better at it.
00:50:15.000 But so, what if, and this is kind of what I've been exploring recently, what if the, you know, our growth in technology is pretty amazing?
00:50:27.000 What if the only way they can actually interface with us in any super meaningful way that's not creepy, right?
00:50:33.000 What if it's through AI?
00:50:35.000 What if that?
00:50:36.000 So, if religion was a way for us to communicate with non human intelligences that kind of evolved in different places, right?
00:50:45.000 It's like a technology itself, right?
00:50:47.000 Religion becomes these ways.
00:50:50.000 You know, if you look around and you see, I noticed that you had some cool Buddhist statues out there.
00:50:54.000 All right.
00:50:55.000 So, if you look around at religion, what is it that people in religion do?
00:51:00.000 A lot of them.
00:51:01.000 Pray in certain ways.
00:51:02.000 Like, why are they doing that?
00:51:03.000 What is prayer anyway?
00:51:06.000 Some of the so you can see that there's something that they're trying to do.
00:51:10.000 They're trying to interact, contact.
00:51:12.000 There's like a contact with these.
00:51:15.000 And so, what if AI all of a sudden is a different form of contact?
00:51:20.000 And I'll give you a reason why I think this way or that I'm speculating about it.
00:51:25.000 When I started to ask the people who should know, like Lou Elizondo, and before that, Tyler, and you know, How put off, and people like that.
00:51:37.000 Tell me what best, if you were to describe what it is we're dealing with, what best is the description?
00:51:45.000 And they would always point me in the direction of science fiction.
00:51:47.000 And they would say, read this, read that.
00:51:49.000 And I was like, science fiction, okay.
00:51:51.000 And I'd read it.
00:51:52.000 And it would inevitably point to like a technology that helps interface humans with it.
00:51:58.000 So that it's not us interfacing, because perhaps you remember you talked about those faculties that.
00:52:03.000 You know, human beings have these faculties for understanding reality, but we can't understand reality in its full reality ness, right?
00:52:11.000 We can't do that because we're constrained by the ways in which we perceive things.
00:52:15.000 Those are the perceptual faculties.
00:52:19.000 What if AI becomes a perceptual faculty for us and we're able then to, you know, interact with it?
00:52:26.000 So perhaps it has evolved and it's helped us evolve too.
00:52:31.000 So that's what I'm trying to say.
00:52:32.000 That was a long answer to your comment.
00:52:35.000 So, perhaps AI is a bridge for helping us interact with these things?
00:52:41.000 Yeah, communicate.
00:52:43.000 Okay.
00:52:45.000 So, as far as what the government knows and then deception, why do you think that they don't disclose all the information?
00:53:03.000 My personal opinion.
00:53:04.000 Yeah.
00:53:05.000 Okay, so this is nothing that I can point to.
00:53:09.000 Of course, I can't.
00:53:10.000 You know, there's no source for it.
00:53:12.000 My personal opinion is because this is above government.
00:53:18.000 It's not theirs to disclose.
00:53:20.000 The government can't disclose something that's not theirs to disclose.
00:53:23.000 What do you mean by that?
00:53:25.000 I mean that there's probably a group of people that
00:53:31.000 have this information or have parts of the information.
00:53:35.000 I don't even know if one person has.
00:53:37.000 The whole story is super compartmentalized.
00:53:40.000 But my intuition is that it's well, we know that there are parts of it that are so highly classified, right?
00:53:49.000 We know that.
00:53:50.000 And so, yeah, it's like, you know, they call presidents short timers and so forth.
00:53:58.000 They're not read in, quote unquote, to the program.
00:54:01.000 Right.
00:54:02.000 So, I would, what if it's like it's been around for a long time and the people who know about it have been around for a long time too?
00:54:08.000 What if that's the case?
00:54:10.000 So, after.
00:54:13.000 After I published American Cosmic in 2019, I met other people.
00:54:17.000 So, you know, I met people who indicated to me that they just basically wanted me to not write anything else about this stuff.
00:54:27.000 They just were like, why don't you just focus on what you, you know, your Catholic stuff and just like, don't do this?

00:55:30.000 Who did that?
00:55:31.000 Yeah, yeah, some people that I had met.
00:55:33.000 So
00:55:35.000 they're people that are associated with the government in the fact that they're part of intelligence communities.
00:55:43.000 And, you know, so I was interested in what they had to say.
00:55:47.000 And to me, what They didn't tell me anything, Jeff.
00:55:51.000 So I'm not going to tell any secrets or anything that I don't have them.
00:55:54.000 But they indicated to me that, yeah, this is like nobody's going to know about this.
00:56:03.000 So people like,
00:56:06.000 yeah, so that's what happened after American Cosmic.
00:56:11.000 Part of that went into encounters, but not all.
00:56:14.000 So how did they express this to you that they don't think that you should be talking about this?
00:56:21.000 Well, they.
00:56:22.000 They didn't express it that way.
00:56:24.000 They just said that my time would be better spent looking into other aspects of religion.
00:56:31.000 Did you say why?
00:56:33.000 Of course, I wanted to know.
00:56:34.000 And what did they say to that?
00:56:36.000 Well,
00:56:40.000 they didn't really say, they didn't really answer that question.
00:56:42.000 But I guess you could say that my experience with them was my answer.
00:56:47.000 My experience with them was that
00:56:53.000 this was something that people weren't going to know about.
00:56:56.000 And that these secrets wouldn't be told.
00:56:58.000 So, you like they're essentially saying to you, you're wasting your time, pretty much.
00:57:03.000 Yeah, we're not gonna tell anybody, you're not gonna get any more information.
00:57:08.000 What's out there is out there, and that's it.
00:57:10.000 Yeah, yeah, hmm.
00:57:12.000 What's your opinion?
00:57:13.000 Like, when you know, one of the things I'm assuming you saw the Age of Disclosure documentary, yeah, definitely.
00:57:21.000 One of the things that I thought was really interesting and made sense in the Age of Disclosure was this thought that.
00:57:30.000 If there are these hidden programs, they have essentially misappropriated funds and lied to Congress in order to fund these things.
00:57:41.000 And all these things are huge crimes.
00:57:43.000 And if they don't have amnesty, they're never going to disclose.
00:57:50.000 This is like Lou Elizondo talked about, or all these different people talked about this.
00:57:53.000 They're like the only way you're ever going to get this information is by giving some sort of mass amnesty to all these people that are involved in these programs.
00:58:04.000 So that they'd never have to worry about being prosecuted.
00:58:07.000 My problem with that is when I hear something like that, and you're talking about misappropriation of funds, you're talking about lying to Congress, you're talking about enormous amounts of money that are involved in these programs, where did that money go?
00:58:18.000 And did that money all go to those programs or all those really ethical people involved?
00:58:23.000 Or did a bunch of people get rich bullshitting about this stuff?
00:58:27.000 And is that why they're calling for amnesty so that they don't have to worry about being prosecuted for stealing money?
00:58:34.000 And that's a lot of this. 0.82
00:58:36.000 You know, obfuscating all this confusion, a lot of this misinformation is because there's a lot of people that are in deep shit if this gets disclosed. 0.95
00:58:48.000 So basically, they're in deep shit if the thing that gets disclosed is that they've been stealing money. 0.97
00:58:55.000 Yeah. 0.98
00:58:56.000 Well, listen, if you have complete total autonomy, you get an enormous amount of money and you're working on these programs, you know, no one knows where this money's going.
00:59:09.000 And we have a problem with that already.
00:59:10.000 Right?
00:59:11.000 Like, we have a problem with the Pentagon never passing budgets.
00:59:14.000 Where'd the money go?
00:59:17.000 You know, that's like part of the issue.
00:59:20.000 What is this, Jamie?
00:59:23.000 Long hidden UFO information at the center of Trump push to free former officials.
00:59:30.000 Former employees can now share information with Arrow or the Purse Task Force without fear of violating agreements.
00:59:38.000 So, this is new.
00:59:39.000 Yes, it was last week.
00:59:40.000 Oh, interesting.
00:59:41.000 So no one's officially come forward as far as the government.
00:59:44.000 That's - but look how it says that there.
00:59:44.000 Okay.
00:59:46.000 Scroll back up.
00:59:47.000 It says without violating agreements.
00:59:48.000 That's not the same thing I'm talking about.
00:59:52.000 It's not exactly, but they have NDAs and it's - Right.
00:59:55.000 That's another issue.
00:59:56.000 But what that doesn't - it doesn't exonerate them from lying to Congress or misappropriating funds.
01:00:01.000 That's part of the problem is that if they have these programs that are hidden, And there's no congressional oversight.
01:00:12.000 There's no, they don't have to be audited.
01:00:15.000 If in all these, in any government program that has no oversight, you're going to have waste and you're probably going to have fraud.
01:00:26.000 And you're probably going to have a bunch of people that are essentially beyond reproach.
01:00:30.000 They have so much power and no oversight at all.
01:00:34.000 Like, put a little bit over here, put a little bit over there, a little bit of this, a little bit of that.
01:00:41.000 Next thing you know, these people are wealthy for some reason that you can't explain.
01:00:44.000 Like, look what's going on with Congress, with insider trading, where people that are making $170,000 a year are worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and no one can explain why.
01:00:54.000 Can explain why.
01:00:54.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:00:55.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:00:57.000 You have to imagine that these people would also be tempted to do that if they were involved in these programs.
01:01:04.000 So even if these programs are real, let's say the back engineering research costs a billion dollars.
01:01:12.000 Let's make it say it costs three billion.
01:01:15.000 Where's that money going?
01:01:16.000 Where's it all going?
01:01:17.000 Where'd it go?
01:01:19.000 You know, that's part of the problem with having no oversight.
01:01:22.000 Yeah.
01:01:23.000 No auditing, no oversight, and a bunch of people that have complete.
01:01:27.000 Ability to hide anything they're doing, including what they do with the money.
01:01:35.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:01:36.000 And so, if they've been doing that for decades, who knows how much fraud is involved?
01:01:43.000 Yeah, I know.
01:01:44.000 You have to assume.
01:01:45.000 Like, these are human beings.
01:01:47.000 And human beings, if they have that level of power and that level of secrecy and no oversight at all, and also they're working with defense contractors, they're working, like, you know.
01:02:02.000 Offshore accounts. 0.97
01:02:03.000 There's a lot of weird shit goes on. 1.00
01:02:05.000 Yeah. 1.00
01:02:06.000 Yeah, that's right.
01:02:07.000 Yeah, it could be that.
01:02:08.000 Do you think it is?
01:02:09.000 Yes.
01:02:10.000 Really?
01:02:10.000 Yes.
01:02:11.000 I think that's a factor.
01:02:12.000 Okay, all right.
01:02:13.000 I think that's a major factor in this whole thing.
01:02:16.000 All right.
01:02:17.000 So.
01:02:18.000 I think that's the.
01:02:20.000 I think that is probably the reason why you have these calls for amnesty.
01:02:25.000 Because if you're talking about amnesty, like amnesty for what?
01:02:29.000 Do you guys do something?
01:02:30.000 What'd you do?
01:02:31.000 Misappropriation of funds, lying to Congress.
01:02:34.000 Okay.
01:02:35.000 So you don't want to be in trouble for misappropriating money and you don't want to be in trouble for lying to Congress.
01:02:39.000 So, what if that does that include all the fraud that potentially could have taken place?
01:02:43.000 And I'm not accusing anyone of fraud.
01:02:45.000 I don't know anything.
01:02:46.000 This is pure tinfoil hat. 1.00
01:02:49.000 Let's just talk shit. 1.00
01:02:51.000 Yeah, yeah. 1.00
01:02:51.000 That's all this is. 1.00
01:02:52.000 So, you think it's just basically a big, like almost like a Ponzi scheme?
01:02:55.000 I think that has to be an aspect of it because that's an aspect of it in almost all aspects of government.
01:03:01.000 I hear what you're saying.
01:03:03.000 I guess.
01:03:05.000 Just think of the problem that was exposed with Doge, with the NGOs.
01:03:09.000 Right, right.
01:03:09.000 Where you find out that there's literally billions of dollars that get distributed and there's no record of it.
01:03:15.000 There's no receipts.
01:03:16.000 Bottom of that article here.
01:03:18.000 During the same event, former Air Force intelligence officer Grush renewed his allegations that the secret UAP programs had operated outside normal congressional oversight, calling it a real fraud, waste, and abuse issue.
01:03:31.000 There it is.
01:03:31.000 And claiming his investigation uncovered slush funds to the tune of billions of dollars per annum.
01:03:38.000 The Pentagon has disputed Grush's central claims, and Arrow has said its investigations found no evidence, no verified evidence of extraterrestrial technology or credible evidence that the government has secretly recovered or reverse engineered craft of non human origin.
01:03:38.000 For these activities.
01:03:55.000 But yet, he has talked about programs that he has been read in on that are back engineering programs.
01:04:04.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:04:05.000 I know.
01:04:06.000 So, like, is it a slush fund?
01:04:08.000 Yeah.
01:04:09.000 To call it a slush fund, I think, is really an interesting.
01:04:12.000 You know, term because that indicates that they're not doing anything, right?
01:04:17.000 Doesn't necessarily.
01:04:18.000 It could indicate that they are doing something, but they're also profiting wildly off of this something that they're doing because they don't have any oversight, which is when you get creepy people that have incredible power like that.
01:04:31.000 That's just normal.
01:04:33.000 Absolute power corrupts absolutely. 0.98
01:04:36.000 What's more absolute power than you have massive amounts of money, a blank check, and You're also in the fucking super secret, top secret group. 0.95
01:04:47.000 Yeah. 0.98
01:04:48.000 You're in the club of the people that know the wink and the nod, and you're going into these fucking vaults in the middle of the mountain. 0.98
01:04:54.000 And you're looking at an alien spacecraft and you've got bodies that are in formaldehyde or whatever the fuck they're doing with them. 0.99
01:05:00.000 You know, you would think those guys could do whatever the fuck they want. 0.99
01:05:05.000 Yeah, that's right. 0.99
01:05:06.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:05:06.000 They're humans.
01:05:07.000 And they're men.
01:05:08.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:05:09.000 They're men that are probably very ambitious and wealthy.
01:05:12.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:05:12.000 And they want to be more wealthy.
01:05:14.000 And they got all this money coming in and they're working on these programs.
01:05:19.000 And then they can occasionally show you some stuff.
01:05:21.000 Look, this is what we've discovered.
01:05:23.000 This is what we've figured out.
01:05:24.000 This is what we can apply to military technology.
01:05:29.000 Okay, so maybe.
01:05:31.000 Okay, so maybe that's it.
01:05:32.000 Pure speculation.
01:05:33.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:05:34.000 No accusations.
01:05:35.000 I'm just saying, if you had to look at it from the least charitable perspective, you have to say that's probably an aspect of what we're dealing with.
01:05:42.000 And that seemed to me, when I watched Age of Disclosure from a cynical perspective, I'm like, what is this request for amnesty?
01:05:52.000 Amnesty is a weird thing to say.
01:05:56.000 People get suspicious when you have amnesty.
01:05:58.000 Mm hmm.
01:05:59.000 Why do you want amnesty?
01:06:01.000 Yeah.
01:06:02.000 You're worried about, like, are they really going to prosecute people that have misappropriated funds and lied to Congress because they have alien spacecrafts?
01:06:10.000 Is that really what Congress is going to do now?
01:06:12.000 They're going to go after these people and say, look, I know you finally did tell us that we have been visited and that we have these downed alien crafts, but we're going to put you in jail because you didn't tell us before and because you lied to Congress and you used these funds to back engineer these crafts.
01:06:27.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:06:28.000 Does that really make sense that they would put these people in jail for these top secret government programs?
01:06:33.000 No.
01:06:34.000 No.
01:06:35.000 Yeah.
01:06:36.000 I agree.
01:06:37.000 I just think if you just factor in people, factor in people and blank checks.
01:06:44.000 I always say someone's getting it.
01:06:46.000 It's not like these are the most benign, altruistic people that they're super charitable and they only want to do the right thing for humanity.
01:06:55.000 And they're very comfortable with their meager government salary.
01:06:58.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:07:00.000 Probably not, right?
01:07:02.000 Right.
01:07:02.000 Probably when you think about human nature and people, when they have access to money, Especially that kind of money, that's crazy money.
01:07:10.000 All right.
01:07:10.000 So, if I can offer my speculation, totally speculative.
01:07:15.000 Totally.
01:07:15.000 Okay.
01:07:16.000 I like this kind of talk.
01:07:17.000 Okay.
01:07:18.000 Okay.
01:07:18.000 So, remember that I start out not caring about UFOs at all, not believe in anything like that.
01:07:25.000 Just kind of doing my boring Catholic scholarship stuff.
01:07:25.000 Right.
01:07:29.000 All right.
01:07:29.000 Well, yeah, I didn't think so, but, you know, geeky stuff.
01:07:32.000 Okay.
01:07:32.000 Right, right.
01:07:33.000 Not interested in that scene.
01:07:37.000 All of a sudden, become.
01:07:39.000 Realize that there's this historical continuity, right, in the records.
01:07:42.000 And there's physical evidence.
01:07:43.000 Yeah, yeah, there's physical evidence.
01:07:45.000 Which is important for people to know that maybe if they've never heard this subject before and this is the first podcast they've listened to, when we're talking about Gary Nolan and some of the things they found at these crash sites, we're talking about alloys that you can't make here.
01:07:58.000 Yeah.
01:07:59.000 There's something about them where they're layered at an atomic level. 0.99
01:08:04.000 There's some weird shit to them. 0.99
01:08:05.000 That's right. 1.00
01:08:07.000 And so I try to keep myself.
01:08:11.000 Autonomous from the ufology narrative, either proposed by the government.
01:08:17.000 By the way, a lot of people are like, it's government sponsored.
01:08:20.000 There's a lot of government sponsored stuff out there that you're getting.
01:08:23.000 None of my stuff is government sponsored.
01:08:25.000 Like, I did this totally autonomously on my own, still do completely.
01:08:31.000 You know, I don't have a publicist.
01:08:33.000 You know, I'm not like out there doing it like that.
01:08:36.000 That said, I've met a lot of people and I've seen a lot of things now since 2012 about.
01:08:42.000 The topic.
01:08:44.000 And so, if I were to speculate about it, and let me just describe some of the things that come into my brain every once in a while when I'm thinking about it, I'm like, okay.
01:08:53.000 You know how Eric Weinstein talks about, like, he would know the smart people, he would know the physicists who would be on this case, right?
01:09:02.000 He would know these guys because he knows physics.
01:09:05.000 He's super intelligent, you know?
01:09:08.000 But I don't think he does know them.
01:09:10.000 And part of the reason I say that is because this is in 2014 or so, so a long time ago.
01:09:17.000 When I'm, you know, when you're doing something for so long and you're in this community of people, And you can't make stuff up.
01:09:26.000 Like, stuff happens, you're like, that really happened.
01:09:29.000 And one of the things that happened was that I got to see that there were some, you know, laboratories associated with the government that people couldn't get into.
01:09:38.000 You know, it was like you couldn't go to those.
01:09:40.000 And the people that worked there were the best of the best, like the laser people, the people who knew lasers and who, you know, they were better than anybody at Yale.
01:09:51.000 They were better than anybody at Harvard or Stanford or anything like that.
01:09:54.000 They were the best.
01:09:56.000 Through knowing me, Gary got to go there.
01:09:59.000 So I have a witness, you know?
01:10:01.000 And so, because they were cultivating him, they were trying to figure out if he could actually help with figuring out what this was.
01:10:08.000 So those things are things that I noted and I, you know, kept in my file in my brain, right?
01:10:15.000 Okay, well, that's weird.
01:10:18.000 Think about people like Harold Malgram, right?
01:10:21.000 So, you know, he had been a person who was an official to.
01:10:28.000 Advisor to a couple different presidents in the capacity of military.
01:10:33.000 So, super high level clearance and everything like that.
01:10:36.000 He had been recruited.
01:10:37.000 He was a physicist at Cornell.
01:10:40.000 He'd been recruited when he was 27.
01:10:42.000 So, this happens.
01:10:43.000 So, people do get taken into these, I don't know what you'd call them, programs or whatnot.
01:10:49.000 And they do work and they have these clearances and they're hidden, just like
01:10:56.000 Sometimes they're given fake job titles and so forth.
01:10:56.000 they're hidden.
01:10:59.000 So, people wouldn't think.
01:11:01.000 I see people online now.
01:11:02.000 Saying, oh, that person doesn't have that clearance because they had this job.
01:11:07.000 How do you know?
01:11:08.000 Like, seriously, how do you know that?
01:11:10.000 Because the government is really good at hiding these kinds of things.
01:11:13.000 So, over the years, that was a long time ago when this happened to me, 2014, I started to form an idea, you know, and it wasn't just that, it was other types of things that I learned that there's something going on for sure.
01:11:27.000 And it is what they're saying, but maybe it's not, I don't know what they're reverse engineering, if it's anomalous.
01:11:35.000 You know, from another planet or what it is.
01:11:40.000 I do know that they're doing something and they've been doing it and they're probably going to continue to do it and that I don't think they're going to share.
01:11:51.000 Yeah, and why would they?
01:11:52.000 Especially if it affects national defense.
01:11:55.000 And so, yeah, and so part of what's happening now, you know, with rich people getting into this and trying to get the people in the program to come out, because that's what that looks like when David Grush talks about that.
01:12:07.000 I'm thinking they're just trying to get these people in the program to come out so they can get the technology, right?
01:12:14.000 And I don't think that's going to happen.
01:12:16.000 I don't think that's going to happen.
01:12:18.000 So, what do you think happens?
01:12:20.000 Do you think that they find very talented physicists that are in universities and they have these outreach programs where they look for these people that are very talented and they recruit them very early on?
01:12:34.000 I think so.
01:12:35.000 I think that they get recruited really young.
01:12:37.000 27 is probably old to get recruited.
01:12:40.000 Which probably makes sense.
01:12:42.000 Get them as early as possible before they get into the program.
01:12:45.000 Before they get involved in any sort of commercial venture or any other company.
01:12:51.000 So, in my second book that I've written about it called Encounters, there's a chapter called The Children of the Invisibles where I talk about this potential speculative group, and it's total speculation.
01:13:08.000 Have you heard Eric Weinstein's take on there's a particular upstate university, upstate New York University, that has a completely overqualified physics department that's also attached to a hedge fund that does Bernie Madoff type numbers that don't make any sense at all?
01:13:26.000 No, I haven't seen that one.
01:13:28.000 Yeah, he talks about it in this one particular university.
01:13:33.000 He is keen on this, it might be something because it doesn't make any sense that these insanely talented physicists are all in this one place and no real research comes out of it.
01:13:45.000 No real, nothing gets done.
01:13:48.000 But yet, they're also attached to this hedge fund that does these insane numbers that don't make any sense at all, which is a great way to just funnel money through and keep these programs running that are completely top secret.
01:13:59.000 And these people aren't publishing.
01:14:00.000 They don't have anything.
01:14:02.000 These insanely talented physicists are not really getting anything done.
01:14:06.000 Yeah, they get fired at my university if they weren't publishing.
01:14:09.000 Right, right.
01:14:11.000 There's something weird about it, he says.
01:14:13.000 Yeah.
01:14:13.000 And he keeps pointing to this.
01:14:14.000 Do you remember that?
01:14:16.000 Stony Brook and Renaissance Technologies.
01:14:18.000 Yes, that's it.
01:14:20.000 He's like, if there's something there, if there's a there, that's where it's at.
01:14:26.000 Yeah, which makes sense.
01:14:28.000 Like if you had.
01:14:30.000 Some big time program.
01:14:32.000 Like,
01:14:35.000 I know a guy who was a professor.
01:14:39.000 So he was teaching at a university.
01:14:42.000 I probably shouldn't say what he's teaching.
01:14:44.000 He was also a CIA operative. 0.99
01:14:46.000 So he would literally be involved in fucking gunfights. 0.98
01:14:52.000 And then a week later, he would be, you know, they would extract, take people, they would do all this crazy CIA. 1.00
01:15:02.000 Super secret operative shit. 0.99
01:15:04.000 A week later, he's teaching university courses. 1.00
01:15:07.000 Yeah.
01:15:08.000 Yeah.
01:15:08.000 Like Indiana Jones on steroids.
01:15:10.000 Like, this guy was like really doing that, which is like, whoa.
01:15:15.000 Okay.
01:15:16.000 So, if you have this university where you have these people that are teaching these classes, like, and they're probably looking for super talented physicists that are coming up to recruit into these programs.
01:15:29.000 But what they're doing, as far as their, you know, air quotes, research that's public is nonsense.
01:15:36.000 And what they're really doing is working on something, probably some sort of very novel propulsion system.
01:15:43.000 And that's what Weinstein thinks.
01:15:47.000 And he thinks that a lot of this stuff that people are seeing in the sky is probably ours.
01:15:53.000 So that's right.
01:15:55.000 So say it's ours and say he's right.
01:15:58.000 Okay.
01:15:58.000 So, but I guess my point is are you, you know, then shouldn't that be okay?
01:16:05.000 Shouldn't we?
01:16:06.000 Be okay with that because aren't we Americans?
01:16:11.000 Aren't they like helping us?
01:16:12.000 Well, if that's the case, yes.
01:16:14.000 Certainly, we don't want that.
01:16:15.000 Why would we try to get them to come out and, you know, and like force them out?
01:16:19.000 Well, we certainly don't want that information to get to China or Russia.
01:16:23.000 Or Russia, if there is some sort of a race to develop a novel propulsion system, like who was it, Jamie, that was in here that was saying that one of the uses for this technology would be instantaneous delivery systems of nuclear weapons?
01:16:39.000 So, you know, when we're talking about these propulsion systems that essentially they're folding space, folding space and time, where they can, instead of going from point A to point B, which is like, you know,
01:16:54.000 a thousand light years, instead of doing it in However, much time it would take to travel that through, even if you're going the speed of light, you go instantaneously because you're essentially folding space and time and just appearing in this new place.
01:17:09.000 Well, you could do that with a bomb.
01:17:11.000 And so instead of like a missile having to fly to Beijing or Moscow, it instantaneously arrives and detonates. 0.98
01:17:21.000 And that this was one of the proposed uses of this technology, which is fucking terrifying. 0.96
01:17:26.000 Yeah. 0.98
01:17:27.000 That these knuckleheads are taking this.
01:17:30.000 Incredibly potent technology that these extraterrestrials have used to get here from another planet. 0.75
01:17:37.000 And we were like, wouldn't that be a dope way to deliver a bomb?
01:17:40.000 Yeah.
01:17:40.000 And then they're working on that.
01:17:42.000 Yeah.
01:17:42.000 But it's also, isn't it their responsibility to do that?
01:17:47.000 Because if China figures out how to do that, or Russia figures out how to do that, or Iran figures out how to do that, you've got a real problem.
01:17:55.000 So this was what, remember you asked me those people that I met, like after American Cosmic is published.
01:18:01.000 All right.
01:18:01.000 So this is pretty much the line they gave me was that.
01:18:04.000 Diana, it's best to talk about this stuff about morality and, you know, Christian stuff and so forth because, look, what we're doing is we're keeping us safe in the United States.
01:18:17.000 And do you really want a non ally to have, you know, an enemy to have this technology?
01:18:24.000 I'm like, well, no, of course not, you know?
01:18:25.000 Right.
01:18:26.000 I mean, so yeah, what can you say to an argument like that other than, well, yeah, that would be terrible?
01:18:30.000 Well, if I believe them and if they're being, if it's true and they're just looking out for the interest of America, 100%, I'm with them.
01:18:38.000 I understand.
01:18:38.000 I get it.
01:18:39.000 I mean, I don't know. 1.00
01:18:41.000 I'm never going to point fingers and go fuck those guys. 1.00
01:18:41.000 I know that's the problem. 1.00
01:18:44.000 They need to tell us everything.
01:18:46.000 The problem is you're telling everybody in the world everything then. 0.99
01:18:49.000 You're telling China everything.
01:18:50.000 You're telling Russia everything.
01:18:51.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:18:52.000 That's right.
01:18:53.000 And I get that that's why, if, say, the Roswell crash of 1947, if that is legit and if they really did fly it out to Wright Air Force Base in two separate planes just in case one of them crashed,
01:18:53.000 I get it.
01:19:06.000 if that's really the case and the lore is that Truman met them there.
01:19:11.000 And that they disclose that they have this craft and they have this material.
01:19:15.000 You have so many different people that were at that crash site that have very similar stories.
01:19:20.000 Yeah.
01:19:20.000 And then you also have this
01:19:24.000 very shortly after that, you have technologies emerge.
01:19:29.000 Yeah.
01:19:29.000 You have fiber optics, transistors, and weird shit that's attached to them in terms of the provenance of how these technologies were evolved and developed.
01:19:38.000 There's some sketchy shit involved in that. 0.96
01:19:41.000 And the allegation is that this is something that's been reverse engineered. 0.98
01:19:47.000 And then, okay, well, you don't want that getting to someone else, right?
01:19:52.000 If we are involved in conflicts with other nations, and we most certainly are, why would you keep that stuff secret?
01:20:00.000 So I get that argument as well.
01:20:02.000 And if so, if extraterrestrial technology is real and that we do have crafts, and saying extraterrestrial is just a placeholder word for whatever it is, intradimensional, whatever it is, some super advanced, non human intelligence created technology,
01:20:18.000 if it does exist, yeah, I would say from a national security perspective, yeah, you've got to keep that under wraps, especially if we don't truly understand it.
01:20:27.000 If we don't truly understand it, we're not really capable of making it.
01:20:33.000 Yeah.
01:20:35.000 I mean, the way Lazar describes the craft itself, it was like it was 3D printed.
01:20:39.000 Well, there was no 3D printing in 1989, right?
01:20:42.000 Well, there is now.
01:20:43.000 That we know of.
01:20:43.000 That we know of.
01:20:44.000 But there is now.
01:20:44.000 That we know of.
01:20:45.000 But that's the thing is, that we know of, there's only so far you can go with that line of thinking.
01:20:56.000 When you go back far enough, it doesn't work.
01:21:00.000 So, like, you go back to 1947, 1947, you're dealing with propeller planes.
01:21:07.000 Okay, propeller planes and then also novel propulsion systems that can instantaneously travel from one place to another.
01:21:15.000 You know, they can go like what happened with the tic tac, where they have it on radar going from 50,000 feet down to sea level in less than a second.
01:21:28.000 So that's technology that we had in 2004.
01:21:33.000 That doesn't seem likely, right?
01:21:35.000 And it might be the case, but then you go far enough back.
01:21:40.000 To like, um, like the, the, the, what was the guy's name?
01:21:46.000 Kenneth Arnold.
01:21:47.000 Yeah.
01:21:48.000 Those sightings, which was what?
01:21:50.000 47.
01:21:51.000 Yeah.
01:21:51.000 Okay.
01:21:51.000 47?
01:21:52.000 Well, that's, there's no way.
01:21:53.000 Like a couple months, like, right.
01:21:55.000 After Roswell, before Roswell, I can't remember.
01:21:58.000 So that's, there's no way.
01:21:59.000 We didn't have that technology then.
01:22:01.000 There's no way they would have such superior advanced technology that our fighter jets looked like toys.
01:22:08.000 They just whizzed past them.
01:22:10.000 Well, I hear that, but, But I don't know if you've seen the images of Kenneth Arnold's plane, but it looks like that German fighter plane.
01:22:18.000 So it looks exactly like that.
01:22:20.000 Maybe we reverse engineered that and had it.
01:22:23.000 I don't know.
01:22:23.000 I'm just saying that this is such a similar thing.
01:22:24.000 Kenneth Arnold's plane was only capable of going like how fast?
01:22:28.000 It wasn't that fast.
01:22:30.000 And this thing, these crafts were going way faster.
01:22:33.000 Yeah, this is what he said he saw. 1.00
01:22:34.000 Like he's got a fucking propeller plane. 0.99
01:22:36.000 I did just look up the first turbojet engine plane was 1941. 0.99
01:22:41.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:22:42.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:22:42.000 Whoa.
01:22:44.000 Were they using that for fighter jets back then?
01:22:46.000 1947 was, there was them flying around World War II.
01:22:50.000 In 1947, they had fighter jets that had
01:22:55.000 propeller turbojet.
01:22:56.000 Yeah, but a propeller, a turbojet is a propeller.
01:23:00.000 Here's the.
01:23:01.000 Like if you fly, I've flown in turbojet propeller planes before, and they're pretty dope.
01:23:06.000 Those are the pictures coming up.
01:23:08.000 Oh, okay.
01:23:09.000 So that does look like a jet engine.
01:23:10.000 It's definitely something different.
01:23:12.000 Right.
01:23:12.000 Was that, what did the planes look like back then?
01:23:15.000 So, pull up a fighter jet from 1947.
01:23:18.000 See, those are.
01:23:19.000 Well, wait, the thing that.
01:23:22.000 It was a specific plane that looked exactly like what he saw.
01:23:26.000 It was a German plane.
01:23:27.000 Well, that one that Jamie just pulled up is pretty crazy because it's circular.
01:23:31.000 No, I know, but the other ones looked, I mean, literally exactly.
01:23:34.000 They were called
01:23:37.000 wing planes because they looked like wings, basically.
01:23:40.000 I understand, but even that, those right there, those are still propeller planes.
01:23:46.000 That is what Kenneth Arnold says he saw.
01:23:48.000 That's totally different. 0.99
01:23:50.000 Like, whatever the fuck that is, it's crazy. 0.97
01:23:52.000 And he saw that thing skipping across the sky. 0.98
01:23:55.000 Okay, wait a minute.
01:23:56.000 Jamie, if you could just keep going and look at it. 1.00
01:23:58.000 So the idea that our best shit. 1.00
01:24:00.000 It's HO something. 1.00
01:24:01.000 Okay. 0.98
01:24:02.000 The idea that our best shit is propeller planes, but yet we also have these things with no visible means of propulsion that are all flying at a thousand miles an hour or whatever it was, several thousand miles an hour. 0.98
01:24:15.000 Couldn't have been quiet either. 0.99
01:24:16.000 Right.
01:24:17.000 It's just weird.
01:24:17.000 Yeah.
01:24:20.000 If you go back far enough, it doesn't make sense that there's superior technology that's not being utilized ubiquitously across the entire military.
01:24:31.000 Well, I think that most likely if they have something that they want.
01:24:34.000 Okay, so this is, again, speculation, all right?
01:24:37.000 I don't know.
01:24:37.000 Right.
01:24:38.000 I entertained the.
01:24:38.000 This is 80 years ago.
01:24:40.000 No, I know that.
01:24:41.000 I entertained the possibility that they had some pretty amazing stuff.
01:24:45.000 I don't.
01:24:45.000 Okay.
01:24:46.000 I don't.
01:24:46.000 I just don't think that's possible.
01:24:48.000 I don't.
01:24:48.000 And that we still have it, and that's what.
01:24:50.000 Maybe today. 0.98
01:24:51.000 I would say in 2026, 80 years later, with all the technological advancement, maybe there's some crazy shit that they have today, and I bet there is. 0.98
01:24:58.000 Like this thing. 0.99
01:24:59.000 This is a German bomber from the beginning. 0.88
01:25:00.000 There, that is. 0.91
01:25:01.000 Yeah.
01:25:01.000 Whoa.
01:25:02.000 That's what I'm saying.
01:25:03.000 All right, you got to believe it.
01:25:04.000 Is that real?
01:25:04.000 That's what I'm saying.
01:25:06.000 But that's just a photograph.
01:25:07.000 No, no, that's an accident.
01:25:07.000 Jamie, you're a witness.
01:25:09.000 But is that a photograph?
01:25:10.000 No, they have a photograph of those.
01:25:12.000 I am not kidding.
01:25:13.000 Just stick them with here.
01:25:14.000 I was trying to just start with that.
01:25:15.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:25:16.000 So look at that upper left hand corner.
01:25:18.000 It says secret Nazi UFO.
01:25:19.000 Yeah.
01:25:20.000 But are these photographs?
01:25:22.000 Yes, they're photographs.
01:25:22.000 That's a photograph.
01:25:23.000 I mean, it could be AI, but that's fine.
01:25:24.000 No, it's not.
01:25:25.000 I'm just to be.
01:25:27.000 Okay, well, what does it say up there?
01:25:28.000 It says a Horton 229, a German prototype.
01:25:33.000 Yeah.
01:25:34.000 Playing from 1945.
01:25:36.000 So, literally, this is.
01:25:37.000 See, I'm telling you, Joe, this looks exactly like Arnold's UFO.
01:25:43.000 Okay, thank you.
01:25:43.000 It really does.
01:25:44.000 It's a jet powered flying wing craft.
01:25:46.000 So, that's what it is.
01:25:47.000 That literally looks exactly like it.
01:25:48.000 So, if I'm right about that, then you should listen to my speculations.
01:25:52.000 Right, but how fast did this go?
01:25:54.000 All right.
01:25:55.000 I'll see. 0.98
01:25:57.000 That's pretty dope.
01:25:58.000 I could have been pushing it to the limit.
01:25:59.000 I can't believe they had something like that. 1.00
01:26:01.000 You know, how are the Germans so fucking advanced? 1.00
01:26:03.000 I know. 1.00
01:26:04.000 And so evil at the same time? 0.83
01:26:06.000 Like, what the hell?
01:26:08.000 Okay, designed.
01:26:12.000 Where is it?
01:26:14.000 560 miles an hour.
01:26:15.000 Hmm.
01:26:17.000 600 miles an hour.
01:26:17.000 And how fast was Kenneth Arnold's craft able to go?
01:26:21.000 621 miles an hour.
01:26:23.000 Wow.
01:26:24.000 So, you know, he saw these in formation.
01:26:27.000 So we were most likely doing something with those.
01:26:30.000 We.
01:26:31.000 What?
01:26:31.000 The United States.
01:26:32.000 The United States.
01:26:33.000 So you think that we had acquired that technology?
01:26:36.000 We did.
01:26:36.000 We acquired it.
01:26:37.000 We were utilizing it.
01:26:38.000 Right.
01:26:38.000 So, Operation Paperclip.
01:26:40.000 We brought over a bunch of these Nazi scientists. 0.94
01:26:42.000 Yes. 0.86
01:26:43.000 And so, you think that what he saw was these Nazi crafts that they had. 0.98
01:26:49.000 Yes, I think so. 0.89
01:26:50.000 But that doesn't take out a lot of weirdness about it because he also had a lot of very strange, anomalous experiences men in black experiences, paranormal experiences.
01:27:01.000 Yeah.
01:27:01.000 Kenneth Arnold did?
01:27:02.000 So, yeah.
01:27:03.000 And to him, he interpreted this as being religious.
01:27:06.000 Is there a video of that German thing flying?
01:27:09.000 I was just looking at the first comment says it should be noted this is a full scale mock up made for radar testing by North.
01:27:15.000 The Brumman for a NetGeo documentary, not the actual HO 229.
01:27:19.000 That picture I put up.
01:27:20.000 Oh, interesting.
01:27:21.000 Is there any actual documented photographs of the HO 229?
01:27:27.000 That's why I'm going to go with if there were only three of them and they weren't ours.
01:27:32.000 So we know that jets existed in 1941, and so the Nazis had really advanced technology in terms of automobiles, in terms of engineering, rocketry.
01:27:43.000 They were way more advanced than us, which is why we. 0.83
01:27:46.000 Took all those Nazi scientists from Operation Paperclip and ignored their war crimes so that they could work for NASA. 0.63
01:27:54.000 They had an important weapon too that we never talk about that we also took a form of propaganda. 0.82
01:28:04.000 They had propaganda, a specific form, not the kind that you can Google and see Nazi propaganda and stuff like that.
01:28:09.000 Like a really effective form of propaganda.
01:28:13.000 In what way would they have?
01:28:15.000 So that's another thing.
01:28:18.000 So this is an actual photograph of it?
01:28:21.000 So if you saw that thing flying through the sky in 1947, you would probably think that's from another planet.
01:28:21.000 Whoa.
01:28:28.000 That totally looks like a spacecraft.
01:28:31.000 I remember after September 11th in 2001, I was filming Fear Factor and we were in Southern California near.
01:28:43.000 What is the base that's out there?
01:28:45.000 Is it Edwards?
01:28:47.000 We're near one of the Air Force bases and I saw a stealth bomber fly overhead and it looks like it's from another planet.
01:28:54.000 It looks so crazy.
01:28:55.000 We stopped filming. 1.00
01:28:56.000 We were like, dude, what the fuck? 0.99
01:29:00.000 It looks like Darth Vader's flying it. 0.99
01:29:02.000 Yeah.
01:29:02.000 You know, It's so weird.
01:29:04.000 Yeah.
01:29:05.000 It doesn't seem like it's ours.
01:29:06.000 Now, I know it is, and I know they exist, but if I didn't and I saw that, yeah.
01:29:12.000 So you got to assume also that if I saw it in 2001, maybe they had it in 1999.
01:29:20.000 Maybe they had it in 1989.
01:29:22.000 Maybe they had it in 79.
01:29:23.000 Maybe they had something like that.
01:29:25.000 So that article says that we found that prototype in Germany, brought it back, and then this is what North are potentially made after.
01:29:33.000 So this is a wing powered by propellers, though.
01:29:36.000 We didn't know how to make those jets. 0.98
01:29:38.000 And so they probably put the jets on it later, but fuck, that looks alien. 0.99
01:29:38.000 Right. 0.99
01:29:44.000 Yeah.
01:29:44.000 So when you think of the Kenneth Arnold sighting and you think of the description that he had, it's very similar to that.
01:29:49.000 Yeah.
01:29:50.000 So that might have been it.
01:29:51.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:29:52.000 But that doesn't jive with the tic tac.
01:29:55.000 The tic tac's bananas.
01:29:56.000 Yeah, it is.
01:29:57.000 It is.
01:29:57.000 Like that, the speed that that thing moved, every human being inside of it, if there was a person flying in that, they would have got turned into jello.
01:30:05.000 Yeah. 1.00
01:30:05.000 Just from the G forces. 1.00
01:30:06.000 That's right.
01:30:07.000 That's right.
01:30:08.000 Also, there's no material that we have that could survive that kind of speed.
01:30:12.000 Yeah.
01:30:15.000 I know.
01:30:15.000 See, this came out in those, I think this came out in those alien documents or one of the dumps.
01:30:20.000 So, this is a lot of people have said that it's Lockheed Martin created that thing.
01:30:20.000 Yeah.
01:30:25.000 And that is exactly what it looked like, including those weird things at the bottom.
01:30:30.000 Those weird things at the bottom, whatever that stuff, those little, whatever those little tube looking things at the bottom of it, that is part of what they described when they said they saw the tic tac.
01:30:41.000 Yeah.
01:30:42.000 And there have been people in the air quotes disclosure movement that have said openly that thing was a Lockheed Martin device.
01:30:51.000 Yeah, that's right.
01:30:53.000 Okay, so that's the case.
01:30:57.000 What is that?
01:30:58.000 And how's that thing moving?
01:31:00.000 And how's it moving that way in 2004?
01:31:04.000 And if Lockheed Martin has this kind of technology 22 years ago, that baffles me.
01:31:04.000 Yeah.
01:31:13.000 And that defies your imagination, just runs wild.
01:31:18.000 So that's my point is that, you know, if this is happening and this has been happening, it's like it's well, this is something that's kept well guarded.
01:31:30.000 And even I don't think, even with the disclosure today, I don't think that push is going to be effective.
01:31:38.000 I see what you're saying.
01:31:38.000 Right.
01:31:40.000 So that thing from the disclosure dump from.
01:31:43.000 I'm looking at more info right now.
01:31:45.000 What is it?
01:31:46.000 The perplexity has to say about it.
01:31:48.000 It's not a hoax, real or, uh, it's certainly a hoax.
01:31:51.000 Oh, wait.
01:31:52.000 Almost certainly a hoax.
01:31:54.000 Oh, how dare you, Perplexity.
01:31:57.000 But what is Perplexity getting this information from?
01:32:00.000 So it says, what the story claims a document circulating on social media since August of 2025 purports to be a leaked Lockheed Martin CIA flight manual for a craft called the CL957 Gen 2, nicknamed Tic Tac.
01:32:14.000 Per the claims, Instagram skunkworks post.
01:32:17.000 Someone made it on Reddit, it says.
01:32:20.000 Okay, of course.
01:32:22.000 Jason Wilde on X, Reddit forensic breakdown took Canna, YouTube analysis, no providence, nothing in the Freedom of Information Act archives, the CIA Crest database, Black Vault or National Archive references,
01:32:36.000 CL 957 or Orbit Lance, Real Black Programs, Oxcart, Have Blue, Tactic Blue, all eventually left paper trails, wrong designation scheme, Lockheed CL,
01:32:50.000 California temporary design numbers are documented, CL 282, CL 1200, Lancer, etc., and CL 957 doesn't appear in any credible listing.
01:33:02.000 Document artifacts, analyst flag typography, formatting, and classification marking inconsistencies versus real technical orders, plus anachronistic F 22 references and an odd CIA series aircraft phrasing.
01:33:20.000 Hmm.
01:33:20.000 It's only been found on social media and nowhere else.
01:33:22.000 Well, then it's real.
01:33:24.000 Don't you know that X is the news now?
01:33:26.000 Don't you pay attention?
01:33:28.000 God, Jamie.
01:33:29.000 Sorry.
01:33:31.000 I want to believe.
01:33:32.000 I want to believe that Lockheed Martin has that.
01:33:34.000 Well, we always have Travis Walton.
01:33:36.000 Yeah, but like Travis is one guy with one story.
01:33:39.000 Very interesting.
01:33:40.000 There's a lot of them, though.
01:33:41.000 Yeah, 100%.
01:33:43.000 There's a lot of weird stories.
01:33:45.000 And there's a lot of weird stories of what Travis.
01:33:48.000 The thing is.
01:33:51.000 The real problem is once it becomes iconic, right?
01:33:57.000 Like once there's a story that gets out there, like Betty and Barney Hill, for instance.
01:34:02.000 Yeah.
01:34:02.000 Yeah.
01:34:03.000 You hear that story, and then that story becomes a part of folklore.
01:34:06.000 That story becomes a part of people's imagination.
01:34:09.000 And when you start thinking about Grays, you immediately start thinking about Whitley Stryber.
01:34:14.000 You start thinking about communion, you start thinking about close encounters.
01:34:17.000 So you already have these images in your mind of what these things are supposed to look like.
01:34:20.000 That's right, yeah.
01:34:21.000 And that's a part of the problem, right?
01:34:23.000 Kind of, yeah.
01:34:24.000 Yeah.
01:34:25.000 That is a part of the problem.
01:34:29.000 I was going to go down another path.
01:34:30.000 Okay.
01:34:31.000 Okay, so about reverse engineering stuff.
01:34:34.000 Like, how does this work?
01:34:35.000 Right.
01:34:35.000 All right.
01:34:36.000 So, one of the things that I came to understand was that a couple of people told me about this.
01:34:43.000 And it was nothing that they intended to tell me, by the way, but I asked.
01:34:47.000 So, you know, Tyler was doing this reverse engineering type of thing.
01:34:50.000 He's trying to find people to help him with this.
01:34:53.000 And he would have what he thought were alleged UFO debris that he had found at various places, like in New Mexico and so forth.
01:35:01.000 And then what he had to do was he had to get together a group of Engineers that could actually reverse engineer it.
01:35:09.000 And he would tell them, he wouldn't say, This is a UFO or this is something found in the desert.
01:35:15.000 No, no.
01:35:16.000 He would say, This is China's or this is Russia's.
01:35:19.000 And we need, in order to keep our dominance or whatnot, we need to get this reverse engineered pronto.
01:35:25.000 And that this lie would then motivate these guys.
01:35:29.000 Okay.
01:35:29.000 And that they would reverse engineer this and he would come up with something.
01:35:32.000 Okay.
01:35:33.000 So later on, I would listen to Hal and Hal would give these talks, Hal put off.
01:35:38.000 By the way, who's one of the people that is interested in UFOs and knows a lot about them?
01:35:44.000 And so he gave this talk at the inaugural Soul Conference, and I was there.
01:35:50.000 And so I was listening to him, and to me, it sounded like what he was saying was exactly what Tyler was saying.
01:35:55.000 That he was saying, We have this, you know, but we don't actually know how to do this, how to back engineer this.
01:36:02.000 So we're going to give it to this talented group of people, and we're going to tell them that this was already made, but a non ally, like an enemy, had it.
01:36:11.000 So basically, by telling them this, they would then, like, in a sense, do kind of like a trick on their minds, and they would actually.
01:36:21.000 Reverse engineer it.
01:36:22.000 They would reverse engineer something that he said already existed.
01:36:25.000 So, in a sense, it was like not only working with time in a weird way, or like kind of like, you know, projecting what was going to be in the future, telling them it already had been done.
01:36:35.000 So, that made me think this is like the propaganda that I'm talking about and that you just started to talk about.
01:36:40.000 Like, if we could then on a mass scale tell people that we have something or this is the case, maybe there would be a critical like mental construct and people would actually.
01:36:54.000 Do something, a rise to the occasion, or something like that.
01:36:57.000 That could have been propaganda for the space race, right?
01:37:02.000 That could have been like the moon landing stuff.
01:37:04.000 Like, you know, I'm not saying that didn't happen, by the way.
01:37:07.000 I'm saying that, you know, part of it was a way to get Americans to win the space race.
01:37:13.000 We had to already believe that we won it, right?
01:37:16.000 In order to create this stuff, we already have to believe that someone else created it.
01:37:20.000 It's like the five minute mile.
01:37:23.000 You see what I'm saying?
01:37:24.000 Four minutes, right?
01:37:25.000 Yeah.
01:37:26.000 Why?
01:37:26.000 Maybe it's a five minute mile to me.
01:37:29.000 The women's five minute mile, right? 1.00
01:37:31.000 No, the four minute mile. 1.00
01:37:32.000 That's right.
01:37:33.000 So we already had to believe that it had been done in order to do it.
01:37:37.000 Right.
01:37:37.000 Because once someone broke it, then a bunch of people broke it.
01:37:41.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:37:42.000 That's right.
01:37:43.000 So, oh, and then I was asked by people who are in the government to speak to interagency, like people, scientists.
01:37:55.000 And so they would have me talk to these scientists, like 50 of them.
01:37:59.000 Right from various parts of the government, and basically tell them the story of like American Cosmic.
01:38:04.000 I was like, okay, I'll do that.
01:38:06.000 Why, you know, they didn't say anything about why, but I started to think maybe this is like a Hal put off thing, or maybe this is like a Tyler thing that I'm doing this for them so that their brains can think this has already been done.
01:38:18.000 We'd better do this. 0.66
01:38:21.000 So, when you say the sophisticated propaganda that the Nazis have, that we took this technology from them, like what do you mean by that? 0.56
01:38:28.000 Like, what was their tech? 0.57
01:38:30.000 What was Unique about their propaganda?
01:38:33.000 All right.
01:38:33.000 So I don't know exactly, but I do have some ideas.
01:38:37.000 And two of the ideas I have are what I just told you that if you can seed the population with images and belief, you know, that will impact their belief, you can change it.
01:38:49.000 Okay.
01:38:50.000 There's that one.
01:38:51.000 But there's also the one that, you know, Bill Cooper's book, Behold to Pay a Horse.
01:38:56.000 Yeah.
01:38:56.000 Yeah.
01:38:56.000 Yeah.
01:38:57.000 Okay.
01:38:57.000 So in Behold to Pay a Horse, he talks about the quiet weapons.
01:39:02.000 Where he's talking about basically technology and how technology is going to engineer consent.
01:39:09.000 And he's talking about this in, I don't know exactly when he wrote that.
01:39:12.000 Engineer consent?
01:39:13.000 Yeah, engineer consent of the population about certain things.
01:39:17.000 And you do that through utilizing social media.
01:39:21.000 Well, he's not calling it that, he's calling it quiet weapons.
01:39:24.000 But, you know, back then, putting stuff on TV and, you know, creating a narrative that people buy into and believe.
01:39:33.000 And he said that this is going to.
01:39:36.000 You see this, by the way, with Arthur C. Clarke in his book, in his short story, Childhood's End, or no, it's a book, where he's talking about aliens, where these aliens are engineering humanity through technology,
01:39:49.000 through social media and things like that. 0.63
01:39:53.000 So this could be what the Nazi propaganda, the weapon is.
01:39:59.000 It could be used as a weapon, but it could also be used for good. 0.74
01:40:02.000 And it could be used to facilitate technological innovation by telling them that it's already been done.
01:40:08.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:40:09.000 You know, when I was, I ran in college, so I was a college runner for track and cross country.
01:40:18.000 And I had a great team of coaches who would teach us sports psychology.
01:40:24.000 And part of what we would do would be we would already see us winning.
01:40:29.000 We would already see, and they would also tell us, so and so ran this, you know, you could do this.
01:40:34.000 So, in a sense, they were utilizing that on our team.
01:40:38.000 And it was good, it was, you know, helpful.
01:40:40.000 Right.
01:40:43.000 Well, it's very important, your mindset, especially when it comes to athletics, because there's so much that's involved in competition that's psychological.
01:40:51.000 Yeah.
01:40:52.000 Do you think that that also is the case when it comes to technological innovation?
01:40:57.000 Definitely.
01:40:58.000 You have to believe that it can be done, that it has been done, and that it helps you figure out the pathway.
01:41:04.000 I mean, this is what I'm telling you.
01:41:06.000 So, with the people that I just talked about, we're talking about Tyler, right?
01:41:10.000 We're talking about then Hal, even though I don't think he'd say that that's what he was doing.
01:41:15.000 Doing or talking about.
01:41:16.000 That's what I interpreted his talk to be.
01:41:18.000 And he's talking, you know, he has some really interesting ideas about physics and matter and reality and so forth.
01:41:26.000 And then later on, yeah, that's what I think, you know, I think that works.
01:41:32.000 That actually works.
01:41:33.000 It makes sense that it would, that the blocks that people have in their mind about what is and what is not possible, that if you say, not only is it possible, it's already been done.
01:41:42.000 Yeah.
01:41:42.000 So, yeah, so I don't know.
01:41:44.000 Like, when we start to talk about, like, the various things that we've been talking about, like, you know, if this is, Real and that happened and so forth.
01:41:51.000 Maybe that's what they're trying to get us not to talk about the really interesting things like maybe that, you know, that form of what could be a form of mind control.
01:42:02.000 I understand that, but when it comes to technology that could have military applications and that we've had all these military conflicts, you would imagine that you would see some of this stuff being utilized, and there's no real evidence that there has been.
01:42:16.000 Like, there's no evidence from Iraq or Afghanistan from any of those conflicts that we had.
01:42:22.000 Something that moves fast in the speed of light, and that we have weapons that are indescribable until Nicaragua, or Venezuela, rather.
01:42:33.000 The Venezuelan conflict,
01:42:37.000 where we abducted the president and we came in and incapacitated everybody with some sort of a sound weapon.
01:42:43.000 That all stuff sounds like super science fiction y.
01:42:47.000 And when you realize that is real, they absolutely did that.
01:42:52.000 So they have had something for a long time.
01:42:56.000 That can do things that are beyond our understanding of what we thought was possible.
01:43:01.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:43:02.000 Hal Putoff had that crazy story about when he was working for the Bush administration where they brought him in with a bunch of other scientists.
01:43:08.000 Yeah, I know about that.
01:43:09.000 Thought leaders.
01:43:10.000 Yeah, and they said, We are going to disclose that there are alien crafts and that we have biological remains of creatures from some other place.
01:43:19.000 What is the negative and what are the positive impacts of this?
01:43:23.000 This and I want you to put a numerical value on each one of them and tell us what the result is.
01:43:29.000 And all the people that they brought in all had similar conclusions when they said, How's it going to impact government?
01:43:37.000 How's it going to impact religion?
01:43:38.000 How's it going to impact society or economy?
01:43:41.000 There's way more negative than there is positive.
01:43:43.000 And so they decided not to disclose.
01:43:45.000 And when he tells that story, just like, God, that tracks.
01:43:49.000 That tracks, like, that they would do that, that they would say, Maybe we should tell everybody, but this is going to be the impact.
01:43:57.000 My belief is that's a temporary impact and that society is going to continue to function because it's pragmatic.
01:44:03.000 We're going to have to.
01:44:04.000 You're going to have to have an economy.
01:44:05.000 You're going to have to have government.
01:44:06.000 You're going to have to have all these things while also knowing we're not alone.
01:44:10.000 And maybe that would help dissolve some of the conflicts that we have.
01:44:14.000 Because if we think that we're the only gang in town and then there's another gang over there and we're duking it out with them, if we find out, well, actually, there's a gang from another planet, that's the Reagan speech in the United Nations that all the UFO dorks went, oh.
01:44:30.000 He's telling us something that if we were faced with a threat from another world, how quickly we would put aside our differences.
01:44:36.000 That's right.
01:44:36.000 Yep.
01:44:37.000 Yeah.
01:44:37.000 Yeah.
01:44:38.000 I mean, yeah, I'm with you.
01:44:41.000 I think that people won't be, they won't go into shock and things like that.
01:44:45.000 But it would temporarily disrupt everything.
01:44:48.000 And therein lies the problem.
01:44:50.000 The problem is the collapse of the economy, global trust in government.
01:44:55.000 Like, if the government really isn't the people that are in control, if there really is something far above and beyond the human government, That has some sort of an influence on world events.
01:45:07.000 That's a real.
01:45:09.000 It's tough to vote in a congressman that says they're going to enact change when we're being observed by extraterrestrial life that can read your mind.
01:45:17.000 I don't know if that's true.
01:45:19.000 I don't know if I agree with you on that.
01:45:20.000 I think that it's all.
01:45:22.000 I think people will be all right.
01:45:23.000 I mean, we're having the government say today, right?
01:45:26.000 I mean, JD Vance on your podcast just said they're demons, right?
01:45:30.000 That's true. 1.00
01:45:31.000 If JD Vance doesn't know, aren't we all fucked? 0.89
01:45:35.000 If he just thinks that they're demons, like what he doesn't seem, I think he says he's too busy to like really dig into the UFO stuff, which I kind of get and understand, but also don't. 0.89
01:45:48.000 Because if that was obviously, I'm never going to be vice president, but if I was, that would be like the first thing I would look into as soon as I got into my desk.
01:45:56.000 I'd be like, Where do they have everything?
01:45:58.000 I'm going there, I'm going there, and I'm gonna say, You have to show me, and I'll keep my mouth shut, but I need to know, like, you need to show me.
01:46:05.000 We need to know, like, what are we, I need to know what.
01:46:08.000 Position we're at in order to move forward.
01:46:11.000 I don't know.
01:46:11.000 I need to know where we are operating from.
01:46:14.000 Are we operating from a position where human beings are the advanced dominant intellect on earth or not?
01:46:22.000 Because if it's or not, that changes everything.
01:46:25.000 But you're rare.
01:46:26.000 You're the rare person who, like most people in the United States, believe in God.
01:46:31.000 Like there are more than 80% of people who believe in God.
01:46:33.000 They think God runs it, right?
01:46:36.000 God is a non human intelligence.
01:46:38.000 But that doesn't, they're not mutually exclusive.
01:46:41.000 Like God could exist, and also intelligent life from elsewhere could also exist.
01:46:46.000 That's right.
01:46:46.000 And that's why most people won't be shocked or upset.
01:46:50.000 I don't think that there's going to be a level of anxiety that people predict.
01:46:54.000 Honestly, I don't think so.
01:46:55.000 Well, hasn't the Vatican even addressed this and saying that if alien life exists, that God could have created life other places?
01:47:02.000 Of course.
01:47:02.000 Yeah.
01:47:03.000 Which really does make sense.
01:47:04.000 Yeah.
01:47:04.000 Yeah.
01:47:05.000 So they're not going to be upset.
01:47:06.000 And there are a lot of Catholics in the United States.
01:47:08.000 So, I mean, people in the United States or even all over the world, there are countries like in Brazil where they're okay with, you know, if they're.
01:47:15.000 If there are aliens up there, it's not going to change.
01:47:18.000 They're probably watching us, and nobody's going to be upset about that.
01:47:21.000 They're still going to vote for their presidents and their congresspeople and so forth.
01:47:25.000 Yeah, but it doesn't matter.
01:47:26.000 So, Joe, you're like the only one here that I, not the only one, but you're representing a small minority of people, in my opinion.
01:47:32.000 How so?
01:47:33.000 Because you think that it's going to change everything. 1.00
01:47:36.000 You think that it might actually change your worldview, but it's not going to change the 80% out there.
01:47:43.000 It's not going to change their worldview.
01:47:45.000 I think that's a guess.
01:47:47.000 Mine's a guess as well.
01:47:49.000 It's a guess of how it's going to affect.
01:47:52.000 I would assume it affects it in a pretty spectacular way.
01:47:57.000 If we have undeniable proof that there is some superior intelligence that's interacting with us and perhaps even controlling events and preventing certain things from happening,
01:48:10.000 like when they go over nuclear bases and stop weapons functions. 0.81
01:48:14.000 This is a religious worldview.
01:48:16.000 That's the religious worldview you're identifying right there.
01:48:19.000 How is that a religious worldview that there's an intelligent life form from another planet that comes to us?
01:48:24.000 Okay, not another planet.
01:48:25.000 But, like, you know, there's an intelligence interdimensional.
01:48:27.000 Right.
01:48:28.000 We don't know if it's from another planet.
01:48:29.000 It's a guess.
01:48:29.000 Yeah.
01:48:30.000 So, most religions are assuming that there are other gods and goddesses or there is God and there are angels and demons and things like that. 0.96
01:48:39.000 There are, you know, non human intelligences. 0.57
01:48:42.000 So, they already think this.
01:48:43.000 This is already a worldview.
01:48:45.000 Well, that's what gets weird when you get into the really old scripts like the book of Enoch.
01:48:50.000 That's right.
01:48:51.000 That, you know, Anna Paulina Luna, she's the one who turned me on that.
01:48:56.000 I've listened to the audio book of the book of Enoch twice now.
01:48:56.000 Yeah.
01:49:00.000 And every time I listen to them, I'm like, what the fuck were they talking about? 0.99
01:49:03.000 Yeah, yeah. 0.99
01:49:04.000 Like, what are the watchers who came down and bred with the daughters of man and created the Nephilim? 0.96
01:49:12.000 Like, what is all this stuff?
01:49:17.000 Yeah, that informs a lot of Christian doctrine, basically.
01:49:21.000 Well, not really.
01:49:23.000 Not today.
01:49:24.000 But because it's not included in the canon.
01:49:27.000 But what if it was?
01:49:29.000 It's included in the canon, but just not in reference to the book of Enoch.
01:49:29.000 Right?
01:49:33.000 Well, the book of Enoch's not in the canon, but Enoch is referenced in the Bible.
01:49:37.000 Yeah.
01:49:37.000 Absolutely.
01:49:38.000 Which is kind of nuts that you don't get the book of Enoch.
01:49:41.000 But you have the worldview of Enoch.
01:49:43.000 A lot of Christians still believe in that.
01:49:45.000 And I would say that, I don't know, like more than 50%.
01:49:49.000 So, yes.
01:49:51.000 More than 50% believe?
01:49:53.000 Believe in the worldview of Enoch that there are watchers and fallen angels and things like that.
01:50:00.000 That, you know, this is the supernatural worldview and it's alive and well.
01:50:05.000 She believes in it.
01:50:06.000 Right, she believes that they're that, yeah, Anna Polina.
01:50:09.000 Oh, yeah, yeah.
01:50:10.000 So, I've heard her say that she thinks they're interdimensional beings, also.
01:50:14.000 So, in a sense, the preternatural, right?
01:50:18.000 Um, imagine a world, imagine how different religion would be if the book of Enoch was regularly taught in Sun Sunday at church.
01:50:29.000 That they would tell you that story along with Moses and along with all the other stories that they would tell you about the book of Enoch, and everybody in the church would be sitting there like, What?
01:50:39.000 What are you talking about?
01:50:41.000 Who are the watchers?
01:50:42.000 Like, what are they?
01:50:43.000 They came down and lay with the daughters of man? 0.97
01:50:48.000 What? 0.95
01:50:49.000 Yeah.
01:50:51.000 Like, this was a part of an ancient story.
01:50:54.000 And the real question is whenever I read these biblical stories, I'm always trying to.
01:51:00.000 I know that they're writing things down.
01:51:03.000 First of all, they're writing it in ancient Hebrew, and then it's transcribed and translated into Latin and to Greek and all these other languages, and a lot is lost in that translation.
01:51:12.000 A lot.
01:51:13.000 Like it's interpreted very weird because of just the way languages are formed, just the way they structure sentences.
01:51:21.000 The way, like, a lot of the context of it is where, also in ancient Hebrew, numbers, double letters, double as numbers.
01:51:30.000 So there's a lot of coded stuff.
01:51:30.000 Yeah.
01:51:31.000 Right.
01:51:32.000 So there's numerical value to the words, which is really weird.
01:51:32.000 Yeah.
01:51:35.000 There are churches, though, that do teach that.
01:51:37.000 There are some religious traditions.
01:51:39.000 I agree with you that this tradition is not well. 1.00
01:51:44.000 Taught to Christians or Jewish people today.
01:51:48.000 But that doesn't mean that the Christians aren't going to go out and learn for themselves.
01:51:53.000 They do.
01:51:53.000 They do learn for themselves.
01:51:55.000 And they actually have communities that know about this.
01:51:57.000 So lots do. 0.97
01:51:58.000 Well, certainly the Ethiopians. 0.86
01:52:00.000 Yeah, of course.
01:52:01.000 Which is weird that the Ethiopian Bible has that in it.
01:52:01.000 Right?
01:52:06.000 They have the book of Enoch as a part of the Ethiopian Bible.
01:52:09.000 Yeah.
01:52:10.000 Well, it's one of the first Bibles. 0.98
01:52:11.000 It's one of the first. 1.00
01:52:12.000 So Ethiopian Christianity is like.
01:52:14.000 One of the oldest forms of continuous Christianity.
01:52:17.000 But there's no real translation of it that's available in English, right?
01:52:23.000 Isn't that the case with the Ethiopian Bible?
01:52:25.000 Well, let's see. 0.98
01:52:26.000 Yeah, I guess you're right.
01:52:27.000 I don't actually know about that.
01:52:29.000 I mean, you can look it up.
01:52:30.000 I mean, people can look up this stuff, and there are people who write about it.
01:52:34.000 Like my field, people write about it.
01:52:36.000 Right, your field.
01:52:37.000 But I mean, the average Christian is not really aware of what's in the book of Enoch.
01:52:42.000 Yeah, you're right.
01:52:43.000 You're right.
01:52:45.000 That's where, like, a basic studies religion class, like, where, you know, if you take my class, I'll make you aware of it.
01:52:51.000 I'll make you aware of the different forms of Christianity, right?
01:52:54.000 The ones before Roman Catholicism and, you know, the earliest forms of Christianity.
01:52:58.000 I'll also make you aware of the supernatural worldview.
01:53:01.000 I feel like it's all there was something that happened.
01:53:05.000 There's real events.
01:53:07.000 And I just don't know if the stories are accurate.
01:53:13.000 I don't know if the written version of these stories accurately relays the real events that took place.
01:53:19.000 Place and what they're trying to say, especially when in regards to the Watchers and the Nephilim and all that stuff and the giants, there's just so many weird parts of those stories that we're just supposed to just accept.
01:53:36.000 Like, what is that?
01:53:38.000 That sounds to me like genetic engineering, is what it sounds like.
01:53:41.000 It sounds like a primitive translation of or explanation of what genetic engineering of human beings was.
01:53:50.000 That's what it sounds like.
01:53:51.000 You know, that belief was still around after Jesus was crucified and within the early church, because Paul writes about it in his letters.
01:54:00.000 What does he write about?
01:54:01.000 Okay, so you know the tradition of women wearing veils in church?
01:54:07.000 No.
01:54:08.000 Yeah, so if you go to a Mass today, like a Catholic Mass, some women will be wearing veils. 0.91
01:54:13.000 And if you go to a traditionalist Mass, they will be wearing veils. 0.51
01:54:17.000 And the reason that Paul gave was because of the angels that were attracted to them.
01:54:24.000 In church. 1.00
01:54:25.000 So you have to be careful, women. 1.00
01:54:26.000 When you go to church, the angels might be there who might be attracted to you.
01:54:29.000 He doesn't say that specifically, but that's part of the reason why.
01:54:33.000 So the early Christian church was immersed in that worldview.
01:54:38.000 That worldview is still around. 0.55
01:54:41.000 So the women wore veils so that the watchers wouldn't find them attractive? 0.75
01:54:45.000 Yeah.
01:54:47.000 Yeah.
01:54:47.000 Whoa.
01:54:48.000 And some women still wear veils. 1.00
01:54:49.000 That's crazy. 0.74
01:54:52.000 So, yeah, a lot of that tradition is still here.
01:54:55.000 So, just a residual interpretation of whatever the original story, the original event was.
01:55:00.000 That's right.
01:55:02.000 Do you think humans were genetically engineered?
01:55:06.000 I'm, you know, I'm Catholic, right?
01:55:08.000 I'm Christian.
01:55:09.000 So, what do you think happened?
01:55:09.000 Okay.
01:55:12.000 I mean, of course, my views have changed.
01:55:15.000 So before I got into the UFO thing, I was a, you know, I went to Catholic church.
01:55:20.000 I went to daily mass sometimes.
01:55:22.000 I was Christian.
01:55:23.000 I've been Christian since I was 11.
01:55:24.000 I was raised by secular parents. 0.97
01:55:27.000 They were not.
01:55:27.000 How did you get involved in Christianity?
01:55:29.000 I was converted through on Easter, by the way, on Good Friday, by watching, and I didn't try to watch it, it was on TV.
01:55:36.000 My parents had put it on, and I was 11, and I was doing Easter eggs.
01:55:40.000 And they were playing Franco Zeffirelli's Jesus of Nazareth.
01:55:45.000 And I started to watch it.
01:55:47.000 Now, I didn't know that he was crucified at the end because I was just a kid.
01:55:52.000 I wasn't raised religious at all.
01:55:55.000 And my dad came from a Catholic family.
01:55:56.000 My mother came from a Jewish family, or she's Jewish.
01:55:59.000 And so they didn't practice religion, total rationalists. 0.92
01:56:04.000 So I was watching it, and it was when the scene where the woman, the adulterous woman, is just about to be stoned to death by these guys, right?
01:56:13.000 This big group.
01:56:15.000 And they're just about to throw the stones, and Jesus goes down and starts drawing something.
01:56:18.000 And I was like, What is he going to do?
01:56:21.000 And he basically says, Those of you without sin, throw the first stone.
01:56:27.000 And I was like, Oh, that was brilliant, right?
01:56:30.000 And so then I was hooked.
01:56:32.000 I was hooked.
01:56:33.000 And at the end, he was crucified.
01:56:34.000 I was devastated.
01:56:36.000 And so I told my mother, I said, Mom, you have to buy me a Bible.
01:56:39.000 Like, you have to.
01:56:40.000 So the next day we went out.
01:56:42.000 She doesn't know what to look for.
01:56:43.000 So we go to this store, and the person helped us out, and they gave us a King James version of the Bible, red letter.
01:56:51.000 I said, I want everything that Jesus said.
01:56:53.000 I want to know all that he said.
01:56:55.000 And I was hooked on it.
01:56:56.000 So I read this thing.
01:56:58.000 I read the whole thing.
01:56:59.000 And at that point, I recognized I had to grow up and I had to read the original sources because that was hard to read.
01:57:06.000 It didn't make sense.
01:57:07.000 And I was like, this doesn't make sense to me.
01:57:09.000 What he said was beautiful.
01:57:10.000 And I was hooked.
01:57:12.000 I became a Christian.
01:57:12.000 It didn't make sense to you?
01:57:13.000 What part of it?
01:57:14.000 The whole Bible, the whole Bible, when you start to read it from beginning to end, you know, there are all those things that you just don't understand.
01:57:20.000 There are two.
01:57:21.000 Creation stories in Genesis, and you're like, Well, why are there two?
01:57:25.000 And you know, there are all those names and lineages, and you're like, What?
01:57:28.000 You get to the book of Leviticus, and it has all these rules and regulations, and you're like, You just don't understand it.
01:57:33.000 And I knew that at that point, I needed to learn the original languages and how they were put together.
01:57:39.000 That's why I decided to become a professor of religion.
01:57:42.000 And so I became a Christian, and I was a born again Christian.
01:57:49.000 And then when it came time to go to high school, I asked my father, he had Connections to Catholics.
01:57:54.000 If I could go to Catholic high school, luckily I went to a Sisters of Mercy high school where they were beautiful people and I learned Catholicism in action, like actually helping people and stuff.
01:58:06.000 And I became Catholic.
01:58:08.000 And so I've been Catholic my whole life after that.
01:58:10.000 Did your parents ever join you?
01:58:14.000 My dad did.
01:58:16.000 Yeah, he's passed away.
01:58:17.000 He died pretty young.
01:58:18.000 But yeah, he did.
01:58:19.000 He was brought back to religion because of me.
01:58:22.000 Wow.
01:58:23.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:58:24.000 It was really pretty intense.
01:58:26.000 But my, you know, that's just how it was.
01:58:31.000 But anyway, so I became very interested, obviously.
01:58:35.000 I thought this is super important.
01:58:37.000 We have to know about how this happened, just like you said.
01:58:40.000 How do I know this really happened?
01:58:43.000 And that's when I became aware of the old, like the Ethiopian church, the earliest texts for Christians.
01:58:51.000 And I don't think Christian churches do a good job of relaying this information to Christians, frankly. 0.90
01:59:00.000 They don't do the best job and that they could do it better. 1.00
01:59:00.000 I think that. 1.00
01:59:03.000 And so I now teach New Testament at my university, and I do my best to kind of convey what these people were experiencing and the kinds of people still experience those things today.
01:59:17.000 So, yeah, so that's how I became Christian.
01:59:22.000 Interesting.
01:59:22.000 So,
01:59:25.000 when I said, Do you think that human beings were genetically engineered?
01:59:30.000 Your response was, I'm Catholic.
01:59:34.000 Yeah, unless you're talking about God doing that genetic engineering.
01:59:37.000 So you think that the Bible is an absolute literal translation of real events?
01:59:42.000 So what do you think it is?
01:59:42.000 No, it is.
01:59:44.000 It's a, okay, so Catholics don't believe in biblical literalism, which is that you can't because there are so many parts of the Bible that contradict.
01:59:52.000 So you'd be, you know, that would be a contradiction.
01:59:55.000 But they believe that it is the inspired word of God written by people, written by men.
02:00:01.000 And so there's fallibility in terms of the, Not in morals and the conveying of the spirit of Christianity.
02:00:08.000 Right.
02:00:09.000 But, you know, so, so, yeah, that's what they believe.
02:00:13.000 So, in terms of the genetic engineering, do I believe that Enoch, the book of Enoch, it conveys the spirit of truth?
02:00:22.000 Absolutely.
02:00:22.000 Do I believe that there are, that's why I believe that if the, according, listen, when I started to study UFOs, I was not expecting at all what I found.
02:00:33.000 And what I found reinforced my own.
02:00:37.000 My own Catholic upbringing or self chosen upbringing.
02:00:42.000 How did it reinforce it?
02:00:44.000 Okay, so that's where I was actually.
02:00:47.000 So I was pretty secular even as a Christian, especially after I went to graduate school.
02:00:52.000 So I went to graduate school, studied all of this stuff, and then became a professor.
02:00:57.000 And I believed in the spirit of the book.
02:01:01.000 I believed in the spirit of Christianity, I believed it's true.
02:01:04.000 Therefore, I taught it to my kids.
02:01:06.000 I'd sometimes go to mass.
02:01:06.000 I went to church.
02:01:08.000 You know, they have daily mass in Catholicism.
02:01:11.000 I homeschooled my kids in a Catholic homeschool group for the most part until they needed some outsourcing in math.
02:01:18.000 And so, but it wasn't until I became, I studied UFOs that I recognized that the Book of Enoch is alive and well today.
02:01:28.000 That's what I recognized in ufology.
02:01:32.000 And I encountered stuff that I thought looked pretty dodgy.
02:01:35.000 And I was like, this looks like the preternatural.
02:01:39.000 And I, it so it.
02:01:41.000 That's what I'm saying.
02:01:41.000 It supercharged my Christianity to the point where I went back and I reread all of that stuff again.
02:01:49.000 And I recognized that whatever they're dealing with now, when people are having these experiences and so forth, not all of them, but a good many of them are, you can, you know, look to me similar in kind.
02:02:05.000 I don't say they're identical, but they look similar.
02:02:07.000 And therefore, if that's the case, then.
02:02:11.000 You know, I need to be a different type of believer.
02:02:13.000 I need to be a much more believing believer.
02:02:17.000 What do you mean?
02:02:18.000 Believing believer? 0.93
02:02:19.000 Yeah, and I can't be secular about my Christianity.
02:02:21.000 I actually have to practice it, live it, be prepared for what comes next kind of that lifestyle.
02:02:28.000 That's the kind of lifestyle.
02:02:29.000 Is it in any way frustrating that you have studied so much of these encounters and these experiences, but you don't have a personal encounter or a personal experience with these things?
02:02:43.000 Well, that's an assumption that you have.
02:02:45.000 That you don't have one?
02:02:47.000 Yeah.
02:02:47.000 Do you have one?
02:02:48.000 Well, maybe.
02:02:50.000 I don't feel comfortable talking about it, but yeah, I have some experiences.
02:02:54.000 Why don't you feel comfortable talking about it?
02:02:56.000 This is part of what you do for a living.
02:02:59.000 You talk about other people's encounters.
02:03:02.000 Why would you not feel comfortable talking about your encounters?
02:03:06.000 Well, because that is, I mean, I'm not sure what to think of them.
02:03:11.000 That's why, listen, this is not what motivated me to study ufology or those kinds of things.
02:03:18.000 When I think about the encounters.
02:03:19.000 Did you have these encounters before you studied ufology?
02:03:23.000 When I look back, I say, yes, I had those encounters, yeah.
02:03:26.000 When did you first have an encounter?
02:03:28.000 I didn't interpret them as UFOs, though.
02:03:31.000 Well, I did have a family member who had an experience with.
02:03:35.000 What looks like a UFO.
02:03:37.000 And it was documented, actually found a documentation of it from the time in a newspaper.
02:03:42.000 Other people had seen it too.
02:03:43.000 So I live in a place that is called, that has UFOs.
02:03:47.000 So I grew up near Folsom Lake, and there are lots of UFOs around that area.
02:03:54.000 And so he had a, this is of course a long time ago when we, he was not interested in UFOs.
02:04:00.000 I wasn't, and he was young, riding his bike up a hill, and he saw it.
02:04:07.000 And it kind of was a classic UFO thing.
02:04:10.000 Turned around, looked at him, and he was like, What?
02:04:13.000 And sped down the hill screaming, came into the driveway.
02:04:18.000 My parents went out there.
02:04:19.000 Now my parents are complete rationalists.
02:04:22.000 And they see it too.
02:04:24.000 And they saw it, and it just kind of like hovered.
02:04:29.000 And it was like a giant orb, orange orb.
02:04:32.000 And it hovered for a while, and then it just went up into the sky and disappeared.
02:04:36.000 And so they had this.
02:04:37.000 This is before I went to college.
02:04:40.000 It was a very long time ago.
02:04:43.000 And then later, when I started to study this, I had family members tell me, Yeah, remember that?
02:04:48.000 And I was like, Yeah, yeah, tell me about that.
02:04:50.000 And so they reiterated that this is what happened.
02:04:53.000 And they wanted to kind of get it on the record.
02:04:55.000 And then one of them found the documentation of a newspaper at the time and sent it to me.
02:05:01.000 So I have that data.
02:05:02.000 So there's been that, but that's kind of a normal thing.
02:05:05.000 Like people have those experiences.
02:05:08.000 And, you know, they.
02:05:10.000 But you said that you had experiences that you're not necessarily comfortable in talking about.
02:05:15.000 I didn't have a UFO experience.
02:05:17.000 I haven't had UFO experiences like that.
02:05:20.000 What have you had?
02:05:21.000 Oh, I have the very normal experience of a person who is a believing Christian.
02:05:28.000 And if you're that kind of person, you will have experiences where you feel like there's more to life than what you're taught at school.
02:05:39.000 So that's the kind of experience I'm talking about.
02:05:42.000 People in the book of Acts.
02:05:43.000 Can you elaborate?
02:05:44.000 What do you mean by that?
02:05:46.000 What experiences have you had that made you feel that way?
02:05:49.000 Oh, I've had lifelong experiences like that.
02:05:51.000 Like what?
02:05:52.000 Well, just that certain things happen at the right time, at the right moment.
02:05:56.000 And, you know, I mean, lots of people have these experiences.
02:05:59.000 If you read about Mel Gibson doing his movies, you know, The Passion of the Christ, he talks about very powerful things that happened on the set.
02:06:10.000 So things like this, things that you know that.
02:06:14.000 They're not probable, like Jim Caviesel being hit by lightning when he's on the cross, and things like that happen.
02:06:23.000 You're like, wow, okay.
02:06:25.000 I mean, you could say that's a coincidence, and you can look at it from that perspective, but
02:06:32.000 it's all outlined in the book of Acts in the New Testament, if you read that book.
02:06:37.000 It talks about these very significant experiences to the people.
02:06:42.000 But the reason I don't talk about them is because if you talk about them to people who don't have those experiences, They will just say, well, that's just a coincidence, or that's that.
02:06:52.000 So you're like, yeah, that's one way to look at it.
02:06:54.000 So, you can't convey.
02:06:55.000 It's like a question of just qualia.
02:07:00.000 It's a question of your own perception of it.
02:07:03.000 But as an educator, don't you think perhaps if you have had these experiences, you have a responsibility to try to relay that information to people?
02:07:03.000 Right.
02:07:11.000 No, no, no.
02:07:12.000 Because I teach religious studies.
02:07:15.000 So, in religious studies, you'll see this in my book, too.
02:07:20.000 You're teaching about the actual book, the context.
02:07:24.000 Social context, the historical context, you're not actually advocating for a belief system.
02:07:31.000 But relaying your personal experiences is not advocating for a belief system.
02:07:36.000 Wow.
02:07:36.000 It would be.
02:07:37.000 It would
02:07:40.000 be.
02:07:41.000 Because.
02:07:43.000 Isn't an experience open to interpretation?
02:07:46.000 So, how would you be relaying your belief systems by having an experience that you detail in an honest way that's open to interpretation?
02:07:55.000 I would do that if I was in a.
02:07:58.000 A situation where that kind of experience was helpful to people.
02:08:02.000 And I have done that before.
02:08:04.000 Like I've been on podcasts where, you know, where they would say they're Christians and, you know, we're talking about Christian life and so forth.
02:08:12.000 And I would explain my experiences and we would talk about that and people would, you know, they would talk about their experiences.
02:08:19.000 But when you're at a secular university, that's not what you do.
02:08:22.000 You don't do that. 0.52
02:08:27.000 That's not what it's about.
02:08:28.000 It's not about whether or not these experiences are real.
02:08:33.000 What it is about is about how this is shaping culture now.
02:08:39.000 What I meant when I asked you that question I'm talking about UFO abductions, encountering beings and entities.
02:08:47.000 That's what I'm talking about.
02:08:49.000 I'm like, have you had one of those experiences?
02:08:51.000 I have not.
02:08:51.000 No, I have not.
02:08:52.000 Don't you wish you did?
02:08:55.000 No.
02:08:56.000 It doesn't look like I wish that I did.
02:08:58.000 When I look at what happens to people who have had abductions, And these experiences, it looks traumatic, Joe.
02:09:05.000 I don't know.
02:09:06.000 I don't want that.
02:09:08.000 Interesting.
02:09:09.000 Like life is already traumatic enough, you know?
02:09:13.000 Right.
02:09:13.000 I get what you're saying.
02:09:15.000 When you hear about people that supposedly they have this ritualistic practice where they manifest orbs and they meditate psionics, what do you think that is?
02:09:31.000 So I do believe that they're doing something.
02:09:31.000 Yeah.
02:09:34.000 A friend of mine did it recently.
02:09:36.000 Did you see what happened?
02:09:36.000 She's very rational.
02:09:39.000 She's a very rational person, very intelligent person, and she wants me to do it with her.
02:09:44.000 She's like, You got to come and try this out.
02:09:46.000 We're trying to set a date, or she's like, I'll explain to you how I did it and how you do it.
02:09:52.000 I was like, All right, I believe you.
02:09:54.000 I've been friends with her for decades.
02:09:56.000 She's super rational, very normal person, very intelligent, not crazy in any way, shape, or form. 0.98
02:10:03.000 And she's like, This is going to sound fucking nuts. 0.50
02:10:06.000 But if you do this, And if you do it and you give it enough time, they will show up. 0.95
02:10:11.000 Is this with like Stephen Greer?
02:10:13.000 Is it like C5 with him?
02:10:14.000 She doesn't do it.
02:10:16.000 She's not in any way associated with that guy.
02:10:18.000 But she was taught how to do it by someone else. 0.99
02:10:23.000 And she said she went on some fucking thing where they all did it together. 0.99
02:10:27.000 Yeah. 0.99
02:10:28.000 And then she's done it privately alone.
02:10:30.000 And she said you could do it.
02:10:32.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah. 0.82
02:10:34.000 She said it's going to sound fucking insane, but it's real. 0.88
02:10:40.000 Okay. 0.83
02:10:41.000 What do you think about that?
02:10:43.000 All right.
02:10:44.000 Well, I believe that it happens.
02:10:46.000 What do you think is happening?
02:10:48.000 I'm not sure what's happening, but I don't think I would do it.
02:10:52.000 Why not?
02:10:53.000 Because I believe in cognitive sovereignty.
02:10:56.000 Like, I believe that we should be sovereign, like, you know, not have something interacting with us beyond our.
02:11:02.000 Yeah.
02:11:02.000 Mentally and spiritually.
02:11:04.000 And, you know, so, yeah, that's why I wouldn't do it.
02:11:08.000 But does it take away your sovereignty to communicate with something else?
02:11:12.000 Yeah, a lot of times it does.
02:11:14.000 So, one of the things that I noticed when I started to talk to people, and I don't want to, like, you know, tell you not to do it, but.
02:11:21.000 I'm going to do it.
02:11:22.000 You're not going to talk me out of it.
02:11:22.000 Okay.
02:11:23.000 All right.
02:11:24.000 All right.
02:11:25.000 I wouldn't do it.
02:11:28.000 Yeah.
02:11:29.000 So, one of the things I noticed was a lot of people in the beginning when I was doing this research would, and still today, would say, Diana, you can contact these beings.
02:11:37.000 Okay.
02:11:38.000 And this is how you do it.
02:11:39.000 And you have to give them permission.
02:11:41.000 And I was like, what are you talking about? 1.00
02:11:42.000 That sounds like vampire shit. 1.00
02:11:43.000 Yeah. 1.00
02:11:44.000 That's right.
02:11:44.000 I'm like, I'm not going to do it.
02:11:46.000 Yeah.
02:11:47.000 Yeah.
02:11:47.000 You have to give them permission.
02:11:48.000 Yeah.
02:11:49.000 And that's weird.
02:11:50.000 I wonder if that's where that comes from.
02:11:52.000 All right.
02:11:53.000 Well, that's what I'm telling you.
02:11:55.000 The vampire lore is that you have to invite.
02:11:57.000 That's right.
02:11:57.000 Them in.
02:11:58.000 But that's the demonic lore, too.
02:12:00.000 Really?
02:12:01.000 You have to invite them in?
02:12:02.000 So, I mean, if you're going to do that, you're inviting them in.
02:12:05.000 Oh, boy.
02:12:07.000 Now I'm second guessing it.
02:12:09.000 I'm just saying.
02:12:11.000 Jamie, would you do it?
02:12:13.000 I mean, I almost tried, I think.
02:12:15.000 I think I tried daily, but like just in my own head.
02:12:20.000 What do you think about people that have psychedelic experiences where they encounter entities?
02:12:25.000 I think they're encountering entities, yeah.
02:12:28.000 So.
02:12:28.000 I think psychedelics is the quick way to open up that spiritual part of your brain, but it's a dangerous way.
02:12:35.000 Well, look, okay, I'm not, I don't want to go down this.
02:12:38.000 I've, I've been on, I've gone down this road before, but, um, what's wrong with the road?
02:12:43.000 Why don't you like to go down that road?
02:12:47.000 Oh, because I guess, um,
02:12:51.000 there's, there's part of your brain.
02:12:53.000 Actually, we talked about this last time I was on here.
02:12:56.000 We talked about the spiritual sense.
02:12:57.000 Remember, we talked about the pineal gland and stuff like that.
02:13:00.000 Okay.
02:13:00.000 So I've learned a lot about it since then.
02:13:02.000 All right.
02:13:03.000 And what I, it's a real thing, okay?
02:13:06.000 And again, the Christian churches don't do a good job of conveying that this is really important for Christians to know about, and not just Christians, but religious people all over the world.
02:13:17.000 This is what they're doing when they're doing those protocols of religion.
02:13:19.000 They're trying to cultivate the spiritual sense.
02:13:22.000 Why?
02:13:23.000 Because the human being is oriented toward the sacred.
02:13:27.000 Like we're a very specific type of thing.
02:13:30.000 We're oriented towards the sacred.
02:13:31.000 The spiritual sense is what helps us connect to it.
02:13:34.000 We could, You know, utilize the spiritual sense through certain things, fasting, living a certain way, you know, and that sort of thing.
02:13:42.000 It's really important, by the way.
02:13:45.000 And
02:13:47.000 digital culture, like, is messing with that, by the way, the spiritual sense.
02:13:51.000 Okay, so psychedelics are one way to, like, hijack into it and, you know, open up that world.
02:14:00.000 So it's a quick way, but it's, I wouldn't call it the ideal way.
02:14:05.000 Although, In some religions, like the Church of Native Americans, that's their way of doing it.
02:14:12.000 That's their way of doing it.
02:14:13.000 And they have rituals to do it with, you know, it's sacred.
02:14:13.000 All right.
02:14:18.000 Yeah.
02:14:19.000 So to do it casually and without, you know, without attention is probably might be dangerous.
02:14:28.000 I've done, I've utilized mushrooms when I was young.
02:14:33.000 I like that word.
02:14:34.000 Utilized?
02:14:35.000 Yeah.
02:14:37.000 You know, when I did it though, like I was really young.
02:14:39.000 It wasn't very official.
02:14:39.000 Yeah.
02:14:40.000 I was very young and I prayed before I did it, my friend and I, and we had a really good experience and so forth.
02:14:48.000 But I think I was just lucky.
02:14:50.000 Okay, I think I was lucky.
02:14:51.000 Why do you think that?
02:14:52.000 Because I've had friends who've had really terrible experiences.
02:14:56.000 Right.
02:14:57.000 And so I think that it's best just not to, unless you're like born into that culture that does that, and that's part of your religion.
02:15:04.000 One of the things that seems to be the case in a lot of the people that have had these bad experiences is that they try to fight it and that they try to battle with the experience.
02:15:17.000 They try to take control of it.
02:15:18.000 The ego gets in the way.
02:15:21.000 They want to regain control.
02:15:22.000 Some sort of a control over their consciousness and they fight with it and they have bad trips.
02:15:28.000 You know, there's moments when you do psychedelics where you realize, I just got to let it go.
02:15:33.000 I just got to realize that I'm not in control of this at all and just let it go.
02:15:37.000 And some people can let it go and some people can't.
02:15:41.000 I've seen people struggle with it.
02:15:43.000 I've seen people that can't let it go and they fight with it and they have really bad trips and it's very scary to watch.
02:15:49.000 But I think that's the root of it.
02:15:51.000 I think the root of it is you're battling with something that you can't beat.
02:15:56.000 You just have to just let go and just take it in.
02:16:00.000 Here we go.
02:16:03.000 Just go on the ride.
02:16:04.000 And some people can't go on the ride.
02:16:05.000 Like, no.
02:16:06.000 And they're grabbing the walls and they're grabbing vines and they're trying to stop their progression.
02:16:11.000 They don't want to do it.
02:16:12.000 Like, it's too scary for them.
02:16:13.000 They don't want to let go.
02:16:14.000 They don't want to erode their belief system.
02:16:17.000 They don't want to expand their view of the world.
02:16:20.000 They're just too scary.
02:16:23.000 They have a problem with fear.
02:16:25.000 They have a problem with the unknown.
02:16:27.000 They have a problem with.
02:16:28.000 Having this very isolated view of reality and having that shattered in front of them, they don't feel comfortable with that.
02:16:36.000 And they try to resist it.
02:16:40.000 I
02:16:43.000 think that's what's going on.
02:16:44.000 I
02:16:46.000 think you have to understand what it is, and you have to understand that you're not in control, and you've got to let it go.
02:16:53.000 You've got to go for the ride.
02:16:56.000 But that's also me saying that.
02:16:58.000 And my psyche is very different than another person's psyche.
02:17:01.000 And theirs is different than yours, and everyone's different.
02:17:03.000 Everyone has different experiences, different psychological vulnerabilities, different, you know.
02:17:09.000 Right.
02:17:09.000 Yeah.
02:17:10.000 Yeah.
02:17:11.000 Yeah.
02:17:13.000 We were talking before the podcast about the Shroud of Turin.
02:17:16.000 Oh, yeah.
02:17:17.000 Yeah.
02:17:17.000 And you were saying.
02:17:18.000 And by the way, we brought that up last time I was here, and that happened by accident.
02:17:22.000 Remember?
02:17:23.000 Yes.
02:17:24.000 Yeah.
02:17:24.000 Yeah.
02:17:24.000 So a lot of people have been talking about that since we talked about it.
02:17:29.000 Yeah.
02:17:29.000 You were saying something, though, that the piece that they used for.
02:17:35.000 Carbon dating, that this is a piece that had been repaired.
02:17:40.000 But I saw there's a lot of dispute about that online.
02:17:43.000 It could be, yeah.
02:17:44.000 Yeah, a lot of people say that that is just some sort of apologetic excuse for why the numbers don't match up correctly.
02:17:53.000 But then I've also seen things that say that the pollen that is on the fibers matches up with the exact kind of plants that existed in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago and that that all aligns.
02:18:09.000 And that further testing needs to be done to determine the actual date of it.
02:18:14.000 That aside, there's still no explanation for why that image exists and how it was created.
02:18:23.000 Yeah.
02:18:24.000 And I've never seen anyone explain in any way that makes any sense how that could have been forged by someone, how it could have been a forgery from someone that long ago that they could figure it out.
02:18:37.000 Also, they could make it a.
02:18:40.000 A reverse negative image.
02:18:42.000 So the only way you see it is through when you look at it in a negative.
02:18:45.000 Yeah, I know.
02:18:46.000 It's pretty crazy.
02:18:47.000 Yeah.
02:18:47.000 That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
02:18:49.000 Yeah, yeah.
02:18:50.000 Whatever it is, it's really weird.
02:18:53.000 It is totally weird.
02:18:55.000 And there are people who, there is a guy who's a doctor of like blood, a hematologist.
02:19:02.000 And he seems to have no, he's not religious or he's not like, you know, out there advocating for religion.
02:19:10.000 And he just happened to study it.
02:19:13.000 He studied the blood.
02:19:14.000 And again, he was like, and the injuries, you know, because he can study the injuries and identify.
02:19:23.000 And they match up.
02:19:24.000 And I mean, I'm not an expert on the shroud, but believe me, every expert that's out there since I was on your podcast a few years ago, they've reached out to me and they're like, tell Joe to get me on and so forth.
02:19:38.000 Do you know someone that's a real good, credible expert?
02:19:41.000 Yeah, I know someone.
02:19:42.000 Well, that man, I think, has a good video out there.
02:19:45.000 Check him out.
02:19:46.000 I don't know his name, but he's, I mean, you should be able to find if you do a search.
02:19:51.000 Yeah, this would be him.
02:19:53.000 New study claims blood stains in the shroud of Turin consistent with torture of Christ.
02:19:58.000 That's not, he doesn't have an Italian name, the one I know, but I mean, that could be too.
02:20:03.000 I mean, he could be out there doing that.
02:20:06.000 The guy that we found, I can send you the link, but he's an American guy.
02:20:12.000 And he's just, you know, he doesn't have a fancy video or anything like that.
02:20:16.000 It's just, but there's another guy who's Catholic called, his name is Father Dalton.
02:20:21.000 And this is his expertise.
02:20:23.000 He knows about this.
02:20:24.000 Now he's theological, but he actually does have studies and so forth.
02:20:28.000 And what is unique about his perspective?
02:20:33.000 So, his perspective is that first, you have to understand the Catholic Church is very careful about what they put their, you know, what they say is true and not true.
02:20:42.000 It takes them forever to say something's a miracle.
02:20:45.000 And often, when they identify something as being miraculous, they have a huge team of people, often who are the best at what they do, and they might not be Catholic, okay?
02:20:58.000 They could be atheists and so forth.
02:21:00.000 This was studied at Duke University, the Shroud of Turin, in the 1980s.
02:21:04.000 And I happen to know a priest who was a graduate student there in the PhD program, and he witnessed the whole study.
02:21:12.000 So, Father Dalton would be a person who is Catholic, obviously.
02:21:17.000 He is a priest.
02:21:19.000 However, he is not going to say, you know, he's going to give you the facts about each of the studies, and he's going to talk specifically about what we don't know, what we don't know about it.
02:21:30.000 You know, might be as a Catholic, you have to say, This is not, we don't know about that. 0.87
02:21:35.000 Like, yeah, you're right.
02:21:36.000 It could be this or that.
02:21:38.000 Same thing with the Guadalupe tilma, right?
02:21:40.000 So, you know, a lot of people say it was created by God and, you know, put on this.
02:21:44.000 You know about that, right?
02:21:45.000 So the Guadalupe image of the Virgin of Guadalupe in Mexico City that was miraculous, said to be miraculously put.
02:21:53.000 Well, there are some, you know, things that have been added later.
02:21:58.000 So I think the shroud is like that also.
02:22:01.000 But And there's been a lot of studies by.
02:22:04.000 What's so interesting about this Guadalupe thing?
02:22:07.000 So, this is a tilma, which is a cloak.
02:22:13.000 This is from the 1500s.
02:22:15.000 So, this is an image that allegedly, according to devotional Catholicism, this image was imparted onto this cloak.
02:22:28.000 And the cloak was worn by a guy.
02:22:31.000 By the way, I think, I'm not sure, but.
02:22:34.000 You know Mel Gibson's icon?
02:22:36.000 I think that might be part of this.
02:22:39.000 I'm not entirely sure.
02:22:40.000 But so here you have something that is
02:22:47.000 unexplainable.
02:22:48.000 Part of it is explainable because after the image was put on, people had painted over it, like, I don't know, 100 years later.
02:22:56.000 And subsequently, you know, just to upkeep it, I think the angel was added.
02:23:01.000 A couple of things were added later.
02:23:03.000 But it's not as anomalous as the shroud of the tomb.
02:23:08.000 But honestly, you're not going to explain this well.
02:23:10.000 Okay.
02:23:10.000 What is unexplainable about this painting?
02:23:13.000 Okay, so this appears to be a painting, but underneath there's an image, and the image is.
02:23:20.000 Is the Virgin Mary herself without her cloak, without the angel, and without the sun around her.
02:23:28.000 And this image is allegedly had been put on this guy's cloak, Juan Diego's cloak, in the 1500s.
02:23:39.000 So he was, he had a, she wanted a basilica, which by the way, she's in right now.
02:23:46.000 And that's what she asked for.
02:23:49.000 The bishop at the time said, I don't believe you, Juan Diego.
02:23:53.000 You have to show me proof.
02:23:55.000 So he went back to the place where he had seen her, and she said, Go up and get a bunch of flowers and put them in this cloak of yours, and then bring them to the bishop.
02:24:06.000 You know, they're out of season, they don't grow in Mexico.
02:24:10.000 So he did.
02:24:11.000 He went, he got the flowers, he went back to the bishop in Mexico City, and he gave them to him.
02:24:18.000 And when they opened it up, there was an image of the Virgin Mary on the cloak.
02:24:22.000 And that's where, this is what that's supposed to be.
02:24:27.000 I still don't understand why that's unique.
02:24:28.000 It's just a painting.
02:24:31.000 It just showed up.
02:24:31.000 No, no one painted it.
02:24:32.000 It was just there.
02:24:33.000 Okay, well, what's it made out of?
02:24:35.000 Like, what is the ink?
02:24:37.000 What is the dye?
02:24:38.000 Yeah, so, okay, so, all right.
02:24:40.000 So, this is where it gets complicated.
02:24:43.000 So, the original cloak is agave materials made out of, like, you know, agave plant.
02:24:51.000 Yeah.
02:24:52.000 And the original image appears to be the agave plant fibers somehow.
02:24:59.000 Was from the fibers.
02:24:59.000 The image.
02:25:01.000 It's not paint.
02:25:02.000 There's no drawing.
02:25:03.000 These colors?
02:25:05.000 Okay, so the colors of the cloak around her, that's later in a later edition.
02:25:12.000 Whoa, okay.
02:25:14.000 How do we know that?
02:25:17.000 Art historians have looked at it.
02:25:19.000 Like people who do, they use infrared photography and they're able to identify the layers of it.
02:25:25.000 So that the image existed originally and then people painted over the image?
02:25:29.000 Well, they painted around it, they kind of embellished it.
02:25:32.000 So, where can we see the original?
02:25:35.000 I'm looking.
02:25:35.000 I mean, it's hard to get that picture because time.
02:25:38.000 That to me is not as interesting as the Shadow of Turin.
02:25:42.000 Yeah, yeah, I agree.
02:25:43.000 They're both really.
02:25:44.000 Also, it's painted over already.
02:25:46.000 Yeah, yeah.
02:25:46.000 It's already been sort of bastardized.
02:25:48.000 Yeah.
02:25:50.000 The Shadow of Turin is just weird because it's not ink.
02:25:53.000 Yeah.
02:25:54.000 It's not dye.
02:25:56.000 It seems to be some sort of like it's burned in somehow or another.
02:26:01.000 Right?
02:26:01.000 Yeah.
02:26:02.000 Yeah.
02:26:03.000 So, if you got someone on here to talk about it, I would either get Father Dalton or I would get that doctor.
02:26:08.000 I would want someone to dismiss it as well.
02:26:10.000 I would want two people to talk about it.
02:26:12.000 Yeah, yeah.
02:26:13.000 I think that would be a great idea.
02:26:14.000 I'd love to see it.
02:26:15.000 Because what you're saying about the parts of the fabric that had been repaired and that's what they did the radiocarbon dating on, I've heard that disputed online.
02:26:25.000 Okay.
02:26:26.000 Yeah, but that would be a thing that you would say if you wanted to really believe that it was more than 2,000 years old.
02:26:33.000 You would say, oh, no, no, no.
02:26:35.000 They got the wrong piece.
02:26:37.000 Yeah.
02:26:38.000 And also, why was it repaired?
02:26:39.000 Like, why would someone repair it?
02:26:41.000 Well, because it's a devotional cloth for the Catholic Church, so they're going to keep it, you know.
02:26:48.000 By adding more cloth to it?
02:26:50.000 Yeah, because it'll, you know, disintegrate or whatnot.
02:26:52.000 I mean, it's been making the rounds for a long time.
02:26:55.000 Right.
02:26:58.000 Yeah.
02:27:00.000 Oh, I don't know.
02:27:01.000 It says it was found in 1350, and they don't know how it got to where it was.
02:27:07.000 Don't they?
02:27:08.000 And don't they say that that's the.
02:27:08.000 Yeah, that's right.
02:27:12.000 When they do the radiocarbon dating, it goes back to around that area.
02:27:16.000 I think it goes to like the 1200s.
02:27:21.000 That's where they think it came from.
02:27:22.000 That's where it originated.
02:27:23.000 Yeah, so even if it did, it's still anomalous.
02:27:26.000 It's still weird.
02:27:27.000 Yeah, it's definitely weird.
02:27:29.000 It's weird in the sense that it wasn't painted, it's not dye, it seems to have been created by energy.
02:27:37.000 What is the conventional description for how it was made?
02:27:42.000 Let's see what it says.
02:27:45.000 What's the conventional description?
02:28:01.000 Let's see.
02:28:03.000 How is it made?
02:28:05.000 Rectangular linen cloth, 4.4 meters long, 1.1 meters wide, bearing the faint front and back image of a bearded crucified man.
02:28:15.000 Conventional description how it was made as a physical object.
02:28:18.000 Material hand woven linen made from flax fibers, weave, thread, side strip.
02:28:26.000 Okay, but what about the image?
02:28:26.000 Okay.
02:28:27.000 A faint sepia.
02:28:30.000 Is that how you say that word?
02:28:31.000 Sepia.
02:28:31.000 Sepia.
02:28:32.000 Straw yellow image shows a man with wounds consistent with crucifixion, side wound, wounds at the wrist and feet, puncture marks around the scalp.
02:28:43.000 Conventional skeptical mainstream explanation for how the image was produced falls into a few camps.
02:28:49.000 Medieval painting pigment application
02:28:55.000 reported finding red ochre and vermilion pigments in a gelatin collagen tempera binder.
02:29:04.000 Concluding it was painted in the 14th century.
02:29:06.000 This remains the dominant skeptical explanation.
02:29:10.000 Rubbing or bas relief transfer technique.
02:29:15.000 Researchers like Joel Nickel have reproduced shroud like images by rubbing dry pigment, iron oxide, over a cloth laid on the bas relief sculpture, producing the same negative image, surface only characteristic.
02:29:29.000 Acid, scorch, or chemical staining technique.
02:29:32.000 Dating 1988 radiocarbon test.
02:29:36.000 Performed independently by labs at Oxford, Arizona, and Zurich, dated the flax to 1260 to 1390 CE with a 95% confidence, squarely in the medieval period,
02:29:48.000 consistent with its documented appearance in Leary around 1355.
02:29:53.000 Under the conventional view, this dating settles the question it's a medieval artifact likely produced as a devotional or pilgrimage object during the period when relic veneration was a booming industry.
02:30:12.000 Hmm.
02:30:13.000 Okay.
02:30:14.000 So what they're saying is it's made with pigment.
02:30:17.000 But I thought it wasn't made with pigment.
02:30:20.000 And also that there are blood stains on it.
02:30:20.000 Yeah.
02:30:23.000 Actual blood?
02:30:24.000 Well, that's what it's supposed to be.
02:30:28.000 Right.
02:30:29.000 But that's what it's supposed to be.
02:30:30.000 But has anybody ever done a study,
02:30:34.000 any kind of tests on that?
02:30:36.000 The blood stains are real human blood applied before the image was.
02:30:40.000 Forms.
02:30:40.000 This is what Trout proponents contest all the above, arguing the C4 sample came from a medieval repair patch, that no reproduction fully matches the image's properties superficially of the 200 nanometer 3D encoded distance information,
02:30:57.000 no brushstrokes, and that the blood stains are real human blood applied before the image formed.
02:31:04.000 But the mainstream conventional description remains 14th century linen cloth with hand produced image made in France as a religious artifact. 1.00
02:31:15.000 Dumb, dumb, dumb. 1.00
02:31:16.000 Yeah, yeah. 1.00
02:31:17.000 The thing is, people want to believe that it's the shroud that Jesus was buried in, right?
02:31:23.000 Well, people do want to believe it, but I didn't necessarily want to believe it.
02:31:27.000 Like, I've had, I used to not believe it.
02:31:29.000 Do you believe it now?
02:31:30.000 Definitely, yeah.
02:31:31.000 Why definitely?
02:31:33.000 Because of the information by the blood doctor guy, which I hate to keep calling him that.
02:31:39.000 I wish I knew what his name was.
02:31:41.000 And also, my friend who was at the shroud.
02:31:45.000 At Duke University, and also like what Father Dalton talks about.
02:31:51.000 You know, I mean, the thing is, is that it looks pretty weird.
02:31:55.000 It's definitely weird.
02:31:56.000 Yeah, yeah.
02:31:57.000 So, yeah, so I believe it, but I'm not like, I can't prove that.
02:32:01.000 That's why I do religious studies, by the way.
02:32:01.000 I understand.
02:32:03.000 I'm not a theologian.
02:32:04.000 I can't say, yes, you must believe this.
02:32:06.000 I don't know.
02:32:07.000 I believe it.
02:32:08.000 That's what I can say.
02:32:09.000 Dr. John Campbell?
02:32:10.000 Yeah, I think that's him.
02:32:11.000 He has 3 million subscribers on YouTube.
02:32:12.000 Yeah, yeah, that's him.
02:32:13.000 Yeah, that's him.
02:32:14.000 Okay, but why do you believe?
02:32:16.000 Why do you believe?
02:32:16.000 I still understand.
02:32:18.000 If it turns out that these people are all saying the truth, that it was made with dye.
02:32:24.000 Yeah, yeah, of course.
02:32:25.000 Then I'll just change my perception because I have new data.
02:32:30.000 I will change my theory.
02:32:31.000 Like right now, I believe it's the truth.
02:32:33.000 But that data does exist.
02:32:35.000 That it's made with dye.
02:32:37.000 Okay, so dye could have been put on it.
02:32:41.000 I believe that there is an image on it.
02:32:45.000 There is an image on it.
02:32:47.000 How did that image get there?
02:32:49.000 That image, so this is the kind of thing that things could have been done with it.
02:32:52.000 It was repaired, it was, you know, it went through many hands.
02:32:56.000 I mean, I am a person who knows about Catholic relics, I know what happens to them.
02:33:01.000 So these are things that would be normal in the life of a relic, that they would be handled sometimes with care, sometimes with not.
02:33:09.000 Not with care.
02:33:10.000 So, yeah, that's my belief, Joe.
02:33:12.000 Like, if I get, you know, analysis from somebody like Gary Nolan and he does this, like, you know, microscopic analysis of everything and says, no, Diana, sorry, this is not, you know, I'll be, oh, that's too bad.
02:33:27.000 I really enjoyed having that belief for 10 years.
02:33:30.000 But it seems like if the radiocarbon dating was from 1988, like, shouldn't we do some sort of an updated analysis of what this thing is?
02:33:37.000 Yeah, that's right.
02:33:38.000 To settle it.
02:33:40.000 Totally.
02:33:40.000 Yeah, I'm all for that.
02:33:42.000 Ask a question.
02:33:43.000 Where is it now?
02:33:45.000 Where does it live?
02:33:48.000 Honestly, I think it's in Turin.
02:33:50.000 Oh, really?
02:33:51.000 Yeah, yeah, in Italy.
02:33:52.000 Oh, wow.
02:33:53.000 Yeah.
02:33:54.000 I could be wrong, though, but I think it is.
02:33:56.000 Can you look at it and go there and look at it?
02:33:58.000 Yeah, I think you can.
02:33:59.000 Yep.
02:34:00.000 It's in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Turin, Italy.
02:34:04.000 It's been housed there since 1578.
02:34:06.000 That's what it's always been.
02:34:06.000 Okay.
02:34:06.000 Wow.
02:34:08.000 Amazing.
02:34:09.000 No one's trying to steal it.
02:34:12.000 Don't say that.
02:34:14.000 Why?
02:34:18.000 Would they have ever made a fake to hide the real one?
02:34:20.000 They did.
02:34:20.000 And that's like maybe we're testing the fake one.
02:34:22.000 I don't know.
02:34:22.000 Done.
02:34:22.000 Done.
02:34:24.000 The real one's got special powers or something.
02:34:26.000 If you put it on, the plot thickens.
02:34:30.000 Anything else should we talk about before we wrap this up?
02:34:32.000 Is there anything else we didn't cover?
02:34:36.000 No, you have an alien image up here and he has horns.
02:34:39.000 Looks like a demon.
02:34:41.000 Yeah, that's the mothership logo.
02:34:43.000 Comedy mothership.
02:34:45.000 Okay.
02:34:45.000 Yeah.
02:34:45.000 Oh, yeah.
02:34:47.000 Just saying.
02:34:48.000 I know.
02:34:50.000 There's no real significance to it, though.
02:34:51.000 It's just fun.
02:34:52.000 Yeah, of course.
02:34:53.000 Of course.
02:34:54.000 Allegedly.
02:34:57.000 I see you did notice that, though.
02:34:59.000 It is weird.
02:35:01.000 I get it, especially after we're talking.
02:35:02.000 I showed that to JD.
02:35:05.000 I'm like, do you think that's.
02:35:06.000 He may have noticed it and chose not to say anything.
02:35:06.000 Oh, yeah, yeah.
02:35:09.000 I don't think he did.
02:35:11.000 Okay.
02:35:11.000 I think he probably would have brought
02:35:15.000 it up.
02:35:15.000 Nothing else?
02:35:15.000 So, nothing?
02:35:16.000 Is there anything else you wanted to talk about before we wrap this up?
02:35:19.000 No.
02:35:19.000 I just published a book that came out yesterday called The Others.
02:35:22.000 And what is it about?
02:35:24.000 It's about stuff we've been talking about, but it's also about religion and about the spiritual sense and things like that and AI.
02:35:32.000 So it has a theory of ET, if we're talking about ET.
02:35:39.000 It has a theory of ET in it and a couple other things.
02:35:43.000 So, yeah.
02:35:44.000 What is your theory of ET?
02:35:46.000 Well, I'm rehousing some theories.
02:35:49.000 So I'm like the theory of advanced technology.
02:35:54.000 Being what people are encountering when they're encountering what they consider to be aliens and ET.
02:36:02.000 We talked a little bit about this last time.
02:36:03.000 It was something that I was thinking of it.
02:36:06.000 And I just rehashed it.
02:36:07.000 So it's there in the book in a more developed form.
02:36:12.000 If I were to just do an elevator description of it, though, I would say that Steven Spielberg's film AI is a really good film about ET and what he thinks.
02:36:24.000 You know, if ET were, I know he's just done disclosure day, but his movie AI seems like.
02:36:31.000 When was that movie?
02:36:32.000 It was a long time ago, but it's really good if you re watch it today.
02:36:38.000 At the end, I'm not going to do, well, people should have seen it already, right?
02:36:42.000 At the end, there are aliens, and they're basically humans have long since gone, and their technology, their AI, has improved itself to the point where it's a life form.
02:36:56.000 And so that would be like the theory of.
02:36:58.000 I think that's probably.
02:36:59.000 2001.
02:37:00.000 Oh, wow.
02:37:01.000 Haley Jaws, isn't it? 1.00
02:37:02.000 Rapid Science.
02:37:03.000 I kind of remember this.
02:37:05.000 Jude Law.
02:37:06.000 It's about AI, but at the end, it ends up being kind of like a theory of ET.
02:37:15.000 Yeah, which I kind of have a feeling that life eventually stops being biological and becomes digital.
02:37:22.000 And maybe that's what people are encountering.
02:37:24.000 Yeah, that's what the others is.
02:37:27.000 It has a chapter, two chapters about that, yeah.
02:37:30.000 All right.
02:37:32.000 Well, Diana, it's always fascinating talking to you.
02:37:34.000 Yeah, you too.
02:37:35.000 Yeah, thank you very much.
02:37:35.000 I really enjoyed it.
02:37:37.000 Did you do the audiobook or did you have an actor do it?
02:37:40.000 No, I did it.
02:37:40.000 Thank you.
02:37:42.000 It's always better.
02:37:43.000 It really is.
02:37:44.000 It's always better when an author actually does the audiobook.
02:37:47.000 There it is The Others, UFO, AI, and the Secret Forces Guiding Human Destiny.
02:37:56.000 And I really loved your other book, too, American Cosmics.
02:37:58.000 Oh, thank you.
02:37:59.000 Appreciate that.
02:37:59.000 Thank you.
02:38:00.000 All right.
02:38:00.000 Thank you so much.
02:38:01.000 Thank you for being here.
02:38:01.000 Thank you.
02:38:02.000 Let's do it again sometime.
02:38:03.000 Next time we've got another book.
02:38:03.000 Yeah, let's do it.
02:38:04.000 Okay.
02:38:04.000 I'm sure you're going to keep writing.
02:38:06.000 All right. 1.00
02:38:06.000 Next time, yeah, about Christianity probably. 1.00
02:38:08.000 Okay, cool. 0.96
02:38:09.000 We'll do it.
02:38:10.000 Thank you.
02:38:10.000 All right.
02:38:11.000 Bye, everybody.
