The Joe Rogan Experience - JRE MMA Show #3 with Brendan Schaub

00:00:02.000 Five, four, three, two, one.

00:00:07.000 Yee-haw, Brandon Schaub!

00:00:09.000 What's up, dog?

00:00:09.000 What are you doing over there, texting people?

00:00:11.000 No, I'm reposting your post, man.

00:00:13.000 It's all about that, bro.

00:00:14.000 Got to be on top of that social media account, bro.

00:00:16.000 I'm trying, man.

00:00:18.000 What's up, dawg?

00:00:19.000 How are you, brother?

00:00:20.000 I'm good, man.

00:00:21.000 This is a big weekend.

00:00:22.000 Big UFC weekend, man.

00:00:23.000 Huge weekend.

00:00:24.000 That Justin Gagey and Eddie Alvarez fight.

00:00:27.000 First team all-violence.

00:00:28.000 Yeah, that's the one I'm thinking about maybe more than even the title fight.

00:00:35.000 Yes, there's a few more than the title fight.

00:00:38.000 The title fight's exciting to me, though.

00:00:40.000 Is it?

00:00:41.000 Yeah, I know it's not that much to you.

00:00:42.000 I like it.

00:00:43.000 It's not that I don't like it.

00:00:45.000 I like it, but I love Francis and Overeem.

00:00:49.000 And I love Gaethje Alvarez.

00:00:52.000 Yeah, yeah.

00:00:52.000 I agree.

00:00:53.000 You know Alvarez is an underdog.

00:00:56.000 I like his shot as an underdog.

00:00:58.000 Wow.

00:00:59.000 That's incredible.

00:01:00.000 As much as I love Gaethje and I should root for him more.

00:01:03.000 I do root for him because we're from Denver.

00:01:06.000 We're my old team, stuff like that.

00:01:07.000 I've trained a ton with him back in the day.

00:01:11.000 I just feel like at a certain level that stand-and-bang Leonard Garcia type of style at the upper echelons can get you in trouble.

00:01:18.000 And if Eddie Alvarez wants to play that game, he's going to lose.

00:01:21.000 But he has the skill set to...

00:01:23.000 You know, to win by decision, outsmart them, not play that meathead game.

00:01:28.000 See, this is where I disagree.

00:01:31.000 I don't think that Justin Gaethje really plays a meathead game.

00:01:34.000 I think he plays a will game.

00:01:36.000 I think he's skillful, but when there's an opportunity to get someone to do a battle of wills, he's more confident in his will.

00:01:44.000 And I think at the upper echelon, you can't play that game.

00:01:46.000 Because think about the other guys at 55. Play that game with Tony Ferguson, Khabib.

00:01:51.000 Play that game with Barboza.

00:01:55.000 Yeah, but I want to see that.

00:01:57.000 I do too.

00:01:58.000 No, don't get me wrong.

00:01:59.000 No, no, no.

00:01:59.000 He's a fan favorite for sure.

00:02:01.000 I love Gaethje.

00:02:02.000 Absolutely love him.

00:02:03.000 I think at a certain level, you can't play that chin down, you know, throwing those bows.

00:02:09.000 Or you can.

00:02:10.000 Name a guy who's done it successfully.

00:02:12.000 Well, it's only him.

00:02:13.000 He's 18-0.

00:02:15.000 So it's only him, and he hasn't faced the top guys yet.

00:02:18.000 Correct.

00:02:18.000 So we're going to see what he's capable of doing, or whether or not he's capable of switching it up, if he has to.

00:02:22.000 But he's been able to survive 18 professional fistfights.

00:02:28.000 First of all, 17 of those are in World Series of Fighting.

00:02:30.000 That's true.

00:02:31.000 Well, other organizations first, right?

00:02:32.000 Those don't count.

00:02:33.000 They count a little.

00:02:34.000 Not compared to the UFC? No.

00:02:36.000 The Michael Johnson fight was the first big test.

00:02:38.000 That one counted?

00:02:39.000 And he got tagged in that fight.

00:02:40.000 He got tagged.

00:02:41.000 He got lit up a little bit.

00:02:42.000 He got tagged and Michael Johnson eventually succumbed to the violence.

00:02:46.000 Because he played his game.

00:02:48.000 Yeah, yeah. 1.00

00:02:48.000 Well, you know, they were talking so much shit to each other before that fight. 1.00

00:02:52.000 It was so, like, Gaethje just dragged him into a war. 0.99

00:02:55.000 What Gaethje, I don't think a lot of people realize, is he's an all-American wrestler from northern Colorado.

00:03:00.000 That dude can wrestle.

00:03:02.000 He's athletic, too.

00:03:03.000 But he's just like, I'm good, man. 1.00

00:03:05.000 He's a fucking animal. 1.00

00:03:06.000 He refuses to go backwards. 1.00

00:03:07.000 That's the whole thing.

00:03:08.000 It's an ego thing.

00:03:09.000 He doesn't want to take a step back.

00:03:10.000 Which can get you in trouble, I think.

00:03:12.000 Only at a certain level is it going to get you in trouble.

00:03:14.000 It's got him this far, and he's a fan favorite, but...

00:03:18.000 I think at the upper echelon, it's going to be tough.

00:03:20.000 Well, we're going to see how he adjusts.

00:03:22.000 Say, if he's in there with the Nance and Barboza.

00:03:24.000 By the way, they did Barboza and Habib. 0.99

00:03:27.000 Bet your ass they did. 0.99

00:03:29.000 Holy Jesus, that's a good night. 1.00

00:03:31.000 That's a fight.

00:03:31.000 Is that the Vegas fight?

00:03:32.000 Is that December?

00:03:33.000 December 30th.

00:03:34.000 That whole card's nasty.

00:03:36.000 You got Holly Cyborg on there. 1.00

00:03:39.000 That card's nasty. 0.87

00:03:40.000 That's a nasty card, but that Barboza fight is so fascinating to me because Barboza is so goddamn fast. 0.88

00:03:47.000 He's so fast. 0.96

00:03:48.000 He fucks people up with that stand-up. 0.94

00:03:51.000 His stand-up is so crisp. 0.91

00:03:53.000 Remember when Barboza fought Anthony Pettis and you're like, ooh?

00:03:55.000 Yes.

00:03:56.000 You realize, like, wow, this is some next-level striking.

00:04:00.000 But, you know, he's vulnerable, too.

00:04:02.000 Cowboy cracked him with a jab, remember?

00:04:04.000 And then Cowboy choked him out.

00:04:06.000 Yeah, he's lost some kind of key fight, so he hasn't really had, you know.

00:04:09.000 If that Habib shows up, though, looking like that, you know, he's just got to keep his weight down. 0.99

00:04:15.000 That's really the main thing.

00:04:16.000 Like, I hope what Daniel Cormier said is true.

00:04:19.000 Daniel Cormier said that he's got a new nutritionist, and he's got him on point, and he's in the 170s now.

00:04:23.000 That's hilarious.

00:04:23.000 Which is way lighter than he's ever been before, you know, this many weeks out of a fight.

00:04:27.000 I swear to God, if Tiramisu ruins that fight, I'm going to bust.

00:04:30.000 I'm going to freak the fuck out.

00:04:31.000 Well, what you really have to be concerned with, and take this with a grain of salt, because clearly I'm not a doctor, but I would imagine that if you've had not one, but two instances where your body shuts down from cutting weight, two, he had it with the Michael Johnson fight... 0.94

00:04:46.000 And then he had it again in the fight with Tony Ferguson where he had to pull out.

00:04:50.000 But they said it was similar to what happened in the Michael Johnson weight cut.

00:04:53.000 He barely made it.

00:04:54.000 Yeah, but even worse this last one.

00:04:56.000 Yeah.

00:04:56.000 Well, he came in too heavy.

00:04:58.000 I mean, he's trying to drain too much water.

00:05:00.000 I mean, it's as simple as that.

00:05:02.000 Think how bad it was.

00:05:03.000 If you're from Russia, if you're from Russia, he would have fought with one leg. 0.99

00:05:07.000 And he got so bad he had to check in with the doctor.

00:05:09.000 They brought him to the hospital.

00:05:10.000 Yeah.

00:05:11.000 I mean, he was in the hospital.

00:05:12.000 His liver was shutting down, they said.

00:05:14.000 Kidneys, sorry.

00:05:14.000 Yeah.

00:05:14.000 It's not good, whatever it is.

00:05:16.000 I thought it was his liver, too.

00:05:18.000 Maybe it was his kidneys.

00:05:20.000 I'd read liver, but I think I'd read it from like a teammate talking about it, so it might not have been like that.

00:05:25.000 Usually it has to do with weight cuttings, the kidneys. 0.99

00:05:27.000 Right, and that's what fails people, right, when they have like real issues.

00:05:30.000 Okay, so Usman Emil Meek, that is this weekend. 0.94

00:05:33.000 See, this is a fight that people aren't fucking talking about enough.

00:05:36.000 No, Usman's on December 30th. 0.98

00:05:38.000 Oh, December 30th.

00:05:39.000 But Emil Meek, it can't make it, right, because of a visa.

00:05:42.000 Oh! 0.60

00:05:43.000 Is he out?

00:05:44.000 First of all, Emil Meeks, first team, all body.

00:05:47.000 Savage.

00:05:48.000 The snitch needs to snoop around. 0.99

00:05:52.000 Norway.

00:05:53.000 Yeah. 0.87

00:05:53.000 He's an animal. 0.87

00:05:54.000 He's all straight Viking, though. 0.76

00:05:56.000 He's got Viking DNA, man. 0.64

00:05:57.000 That's like real marauder.

00:05:58.000 Yeah.

00:05:59.000 No, he's just a natural freak.

00:06:00.000 Yeah.

00:06:01.000 But so is Usman.

00:06:02.000 That's why it's such a good fight.

00:06:03.000 He's a scary guy.

00:06:04.000 Terrifying.

00:06:05.000 No one wants to fight him.

00:06:06.000 Nobody.

00:06:06.000 And no one's talking about him.

00:06:07.000 Darren Till does.

00:06:08.000 Darren Till does, yeah.

00:06:09.000 Darren Till will fight anybody.

00:06:11.000 Anybody.

00:06:12.000 So exciting to have him around.

00:06:14.000 I know.

00:06:15.000 He's a new one.

00:06:16.000 He was a sleeper.

00:06:17.000 He's a new one!

00:06:17.000 I feel like this card, though, has been kind of under the radar a little bit.

00:06:21.000 A little bit, yeah.

00:06:22.000 A little bit.

00:06:22.000 I think Sean Munday went, bro, you know Francis and Overeem fight Saturday?

00:06:28.000 This weekend.

00:06:29.000 I totally forgot.

00:06:30.000 Did you see Francis break the world record for the hardest punch?

00:06:33.000 I have skeptical hip eyes on that.

00:06:34.000 I knew you would!

00:06:38.000 I'm just saying, how many guys have punched that thing?

00:06:42.000 Have you punched it?

00:06:42.000 They said thousands have punched it.

00:06:44.000 I saw that company responding to Joe's Twitter.

00:06:47.000 It's actually a company that does it.

00:06:49.000 They do it all over the world.

00:06:50.000 Oh, did you question the thing?

00:06:51.000 Oh, okay, good.

00:06:52.000 We were like, how many people have done it?

00:06:54.000 And then we found out that Tyrone Spong came in second.

00:06:57.000 Has Mark Hunt hit it with left hook?

00:06:59.000 Did Crow Cop kick it? 0.96

00:07:02.000 It's the hardest punch.

00:07:03.000 Okay.

00:07:04.000 I don't think Crow Cops kicked it, but I'd like to see the hardest kick, right? 1.00

00:07:06.000 Yeah, but I'd like to see if Mark Hunt hit that bitch with a left hook. 1.00

00:07:10.000 Right, right, right. 1.00

00:07:11.000 I need to see some of that stuff.

00:07:12.000 Like, what other heavyweights hit it?

00:07:14.000 Because, of course, Francis is huge.

00:07:16.000 But he might be the hardest-hitting heavyweight alive.

00:07:19.000 That's possible, too.

00:07:20.000 I'd like to get Carwin on that thing.

00:07:23.000 Ooh, Carwin in his prime.

00:07:25.000 Even Carwin right now, straight, yeah.

00:07:30.000 Did you see Mitreone call out Carwin for steroids?

00:07:32.000 No! 1.00

00:07:33.000 Mitreone's talking crazy shit. 1.00

00:07:35.000 Of course. 1.00

00:07:35.000 That's what Matt does. 1.00

00:07:36.000 Getting his name out there.

00:07:38.000 Yeah, he is.

00:07:38.000 Because for the Bellator heavyweight tournament, Matt's fighting Roy.

00:07:42.000 Yeah.

00:07:42.000 And then Carwin asks...

00:07:45.000 Coker to be an alternate on there if someone gets hurt. 0.97

00:07:48.000 And then they ask Matt about it and he's like, I mean, they need to test that freaking guy. 0.82

00:07:52.000 There's no way he's clean and just went about this whole business.

00:07:54.000 Like, anyone who I fight has to be clean.

00:07:56.000 I doubt Carwin is.

00:07:57.000 So now Carwin's calling out Matt now.

00:08:00.000 Be careful what you ask for him, Matty.

00:08:01.000 Ooh, yeah, because even if he's clean, good luck.

00:08:04.000 Those bones.

00:08:05.000 He's got some just caveman bone structure.

00:08:09.000 A lot of anger built up.

00:08:10.000 You don't want that.

00:08:11.000 But back to Francis breaking that record.

00:08:13.000 I need to see what other heavyweights hit that thing before I celebrate.

00:08:16.000 Right.

00:08:17.000 Yeah.

00:08:18.000 Yeah. 0.99

00:08:18.000 Man, how many fucking great guys have backs given out on in their prime? 0.99

00:08:23.000 Back's a big one. 0.99

00:08:24.000 I mean, Kane's has some issues.

00:08:26.000 Kane's a big one.

00:08:26.000 Shane's a big one.

00:08:27.000 Those two guys alone.

00:08:28.000 So the rumor was Kane fighting at UFC 220 in Boston against Kane and Stipe?

00:08:34.000 Yeah.

00:08:34.000 That's not happening.

00:08:35.000 Not happening?

00:08:36.000 Not happening.

00:08:36.000 How do you know?

00:08:37.000 What do you know?

00:08:38.000 Tell us.

00:08:39.000 Close source says Kane won't be ready.

00:08:42.000 Not happening.

00:08:43.000 Stipe will fight the winner depending on the good win of Francis over him.

00:08:48.000 So what's the issue that's holding him back?

00:08:51.000 I'm not sure.

00:08:54.000 I just know you won't be ready by Boston.

00:08:55.000 So it's some sort of recovery issue, some injury thing, something?

00:08:58.000 I guess.

00:08:58.000 Just not ready yet.

00:08:59.000 But they're saying no.

00:09:00.000 Yeah, it's just not happening. 1.00

00:09:00.000 They're saying it's all bullshit. 1.00

00:09:01.000 Wow. 1.00

00:09:02.000 Do they have a fight for that January 20th?

00:09:05.000 Not yet.

00:09:06.000 That's really soon.

00:09:07.000 Yeah, January 20th, yeah.

00:09:08.000 Doesn't that seem soon?

00:09:09.000 Pretty soon.

00:09:10.000 Yeah, definitely soon enough where...

00:09:12.000 Two months.

00:09:12.000 Especially if it's a heavyweight title fight, you want something on there.

00:09:15.000 It's less than two months.

00:09:16.000 That's soon.

00:09:18.000 Yeah.

00:09:18.000 And I'm hoping for a big fight announcement because I'm at the Wilbur the night before, sir.

00:09:22.000 What else is on that card already?

00:09:23.000 Wow, it's really light.

00:09:28.000 Really light?

00:09:29.000 Well, they're getting around to it.

00:09:31.000 But you know Boston, Dana's hometown, so he's not going to disappoint.

00:09:35.000 Gleason Tebow back in the house after passing hot.

00:09:38.000 What is he going to look like?

00:09:40.000 Not like that.

00:09:41.000 What do you think he's gonna look like?

00:09:42.000 Because he's the freakiest of the freaks at 155 pounds.

00:09:44.000 Dude, he was giant.

00:09:46.000 Giant! 0.88

00:09:47.000 Those days are over.

00:09:48.000 Giant! 0.88

00:09:50.000 Dude, he would come into the octagon.

00:09:51.000 Oh my god.

00:09:53.000 On fight night. 0.99

00:09:53.000 And you'd be like, how the fuck are you at 155 pounds? 0.99

00:09:56.000 What in the world? 1.00

00:09:57.000 How the fuck are you not a middleweight? 1.00

00:09:59.000 He's a middleweight. 0.99

00:10:00.000 I mean, I'm not exaggerating. 1.00

00:10:01.000 He looked like a fucking middleweight. 0.99

00:10:03.000 He looked like Paul Harris. 0.99

00:10:05.000 When Paul Harris was a middleweight, he looked like Gleason Tebow looks when he's a lightweight.

00:10:08.000 Very similar, yeah.

00:10:10.000 So jacked.

00:10:11.000 And skillful.

00:10:12.000 Hell yeah. 1.00

00:10:13.000 He's a monster. 1.00

00:10:15.000 He's a fucking animal. 1.00

00:10:16.000 So he's got everything going. 1.00

00:10:18.000 But I was disappointed that Stipe and Kane wasn't going to go down.

00:10:22.000 Because I think if Stipe beats Kane, then there's argument for Stipe as the best heavyweight of all time.

00:10:27.000 If he were to beat Kane.

00:10:29.000 Well, if he beats Kane, a healthy Kane, that's...

00:10:32.000 See, the thing is, what we really need is a time machine. 0.95

00:10:36.000 We need to fucking take Primetime Kane and stick him in Pride with Primetime Fedor. 1.00

00:10:42.000 Let's find out. 0.97

00:10:43.000 And you've got to do it in Pride, too.

00:10:45.000 Because, look...

00:10:46.000 With no commission? 0.99

00:10:47.000 I don't know what the fuck they were doing over there, but I know the result. 0.98

00:10:49.000 If I'm just looking at the result as a person who's an analyst, I gotta look at primetime Fedor as number one. 0.99

00:10:56.000 Primetime Fedor throwing bombs on Noguera when he's pinned against the fucking ring apron. 0.99

00:11:01.000 Remember that? 0.99

00:11:01.000 Noguera's in the corner and Fedor's on top of him just dropping those casting punches. 0.99

00:11:06.000 Boom! 0.99

00:11:07.000 Those crazy Russian punches that come like this. 0.97

00:11:10.000 Wham! 0.94

00:11:11.000 That's why it's difficult when they...

00:11:13.000 Who's the best of all time?

00:11:15.000 It's like, alright, well, we going off pre-snitch?

00:11:17.000 Right.

00:11:17.000 Or we going snitch era?

00:11:18.000 Yeah.

00:11:19.000 Because we go golden snitch era.

00:11:20.000 You got Stipe.

00:11:22.000 If you don't know who the golden snitch is, it's Jeff Davitsky.

00:11:25.000 And again, that's not a bad...

00:11:26.000 It's not a bad term. 1.00

00:11:27.000 He's coming on the podcast.

00:11:28.000 We're working the date out right now.

00:11:30.000 And I'm a fan.

00:11:31.000 I'm a fan, too.

00:11:31.000 I like the guy.

00:11:32.000 I like what he's doing.

00:11:32.000 Yeah, when I say going snitch, I'm just playing around.

00:11:35.000 Before, it used to be who had the best cheater?

00:11:37.000 Who had the best chemists? 0.75

00:11:38.000 Who had the best doctors?

00:11:40.000 Who had the best doctor?

00:11:40.000 Who had the best guy that could make you test positive, or test clean, rather, after the weigh-in?

00:11:45.000 That's all you had to do.

00:11:45.000 Except for, look at Overeem.

00:11:47.000 He's a guy, you know, fighting this weekend where, obviously, he's...

00:11:51.000 He's done some stuff, some gear in his life, and he's tested hot and he's paid the price.

00:11:55.000 And then the Golden Snitch comes in, and his team goes, alright dude, you can't just rely on power, you gotta start using a technique, which you have, so let's focus on it.

00:12:03.000 He's doing pretty damn well.

00:12:04.000 Pretty damn well.

00:12:05.000 He had that one loss before, that lost Stipe, he was smoking dudes. 0.57

00:12:08.000 Yeah.

00:12:09.000 His loss to Stipe wasn't that bad because he had Stipe in a lot of trouble.

00:12:12.000 He definitely did.

00:12:12.000 And he actually thought, you know, in the post-fight...

00:12:14.000 He thought he got kicked.

00:12:15.000 Yeah, he thought he got kicked, but he also thought he choked him out and he tapped.

00:12:18.000 Remember that whole thing, obviously.

00:12:19.000 Both those guys were stunned.

00:12:20.000 That was a close fight, though.

00:12:21.000 Very close fight.

00:12:22.000 And then he goes on, you know, beats Verdum, his last fight.

00:12:25.000 And now he's fighting Francis, where, you know, that's not, obviously, it's a tough fight.

00:12:29.000 Francis is the favorite, but, dude, Overeem's the best striker, most decorated striker of all time in the heavyweight division.

00:12:35.000 Like, Overeem can win that fight.

00:12:37.000 You know, I broke down on my podcast how many times Overeem's been stopped on the last podcast, last MMA podcast.

00:12:43.000 19?

00:12:43.000 It's crazy.

00:12:44.000 19?

00:12:45.000 I think it's like 13 in MMA or somewhere between 11 and 13 in MMA and an additional 3 or 4 in kickboxing.

00:12:55.000 That is a lot of stoppage losses.

00:12:58.000 It's a lot, but I think he's been fighting more than anyone too.

00:13:01.000 Yeah, but if you look at the last few years, there's an exorbitant amount of losses by stoppage.

00:13:07.000 For over him?

00:13:07.000 Yeah.

00:13:08.000 It's quite a few over the last few years.

00:13:11.000 It's all the wear and tear in the ring and also not being able to do gear.

00:13:16.000 See, look, Ben Rothwell, Travis Brown, the Bigfoot Silva one, all those happen inside of a couple of years, man.

00:13:28.000 It's one year.

00:13:29.000 So in one year, from February of 2013, Literally to September of 2014. That's not much time and he's been brutally knocked out three times in that time.

00:13:39.000 Well at least two of them are really brutal.

00:13:41.000 The Ben Rothwell fight was like he got cracked with a big shot and dropped and then they stopped the fight I think at a good time.

00:13:47.000 That could happen to anybody.

00:13:48.000 That could happen to anybody.

00:13:49.000 But the Bigfoot fight, that wasn't a regular KO. That was goddamn ruthless. 0.99

00:13:56.000 Travis Brown got him pretty bad, too, with that front kick to the grill. 0.99

00:13:59.000 The Bigfoot fight was so interesting, though, because it was so obviously post-snitch.

00:14:04.000 Yep.

00:14:05.000 He went from being Uber-eam when he beat Brock Lesnar.

00:14:09.000 That was the Uber-eam.

00:14:10.000 Scariest man to ever enter the octagon.

00:14:12.000 Ever. 0.99

00:14:12.000 In that fight, when you look across the octagon, 265, maybe 10% body fat, jacked to the tits. 0.99

00:14:19.000 Check, please. 0.99

00:14:20.000 I'm out.

00:14:21.000 And best kickboxer to ever fight in MMA. Yeah, I'm out.

00:14:24.000 Oh, Jesus.

00:14:25.000 What a disaster.

00:14:25.000 I'm out.

00:14:26.000 What are you going to do?

00:14:26.000 What a nightmare.

00:14:27.000 But then he figures it out, though.

00:14:28.000 They have that, and then he figures it out.

00:14:30.000 Junior Dos Santos fight.

00:14:31.000 Yeah.

00:14:31.000 And, you know, now, before, back Uber-ing him up, when his Uber-ing, before they go and snitch, good luck back If you did, you're paying the price.

00:14:39.000 Now, that motherfucker will turn his back and run out of the way. 1.00

00:14:41.000 He'll just run. 1.00

00:14:43.000 And it works sometimes.

00:14:44.000 Hey, he just gets the fuck out of there by any means necessary. 0.53

00:14:47.000 See ya.

00:14:48.000 I wonder if he would ever be, you know, that was one of the things that Mitrione brought up about Joe Silva.

00:14:52.000 He said that Joe Silva told him that he got a small ring, or that it was going to be a large ring when he fought Roy, Big Country.

00:14:59.000 And it wasn't.

00:15:00.000 It was a small ring.

00:15:01.000 So he said that he was upset about that.

00:15:03.000 I've had that happen before, too, though.

00:15:05.000 But, again, I'm not defending Joe Silva here.

00:15:08.000 I've worked a ton with Joe Silva, obviously, over the years.

00:15:11.000 It doesn't really work like that.

00:15:13.000 It really doesn't work.

00:15:13.000 You make demands on the cage and ask for this and ask for that.

00:15:17.000 It is what it is.

00:15:18.000 And you might prefer something like, yeah, maybe.

00:15:20.000 But Joe Silva's dealing with so many different dynamics.

00:15:23.000 The cage goes, hey, what's the cage?

00:15:25.000 Someone might go, it's a 24-foot.

00:15:26.000 All right, cool.

00:15:27.000 Yeah, I guess the bigger cage.

00:15:28.000 You want the fight or not, man?

00:15:29.000 There's so much going on.

00:15:31.000 I don't think he purposely lied to Matt and was like, it's a big cage, take the fight.

00:15:35.000 But I wonder what fights would be like if the cage was much smaller.

00:15:40.000 Less technique.

00:15:41.000 You're going to get a bunch of Gaethje fights.

00:15:43.000 Which isn't a bad thing.

00:15:45.000 But if you're a technical guy like Mitrione, who's crazy athletic with footwork, or a Barboza, or a Conor McGregor, you don't want that small cage.

00:15:54.000 It limits your resources and your abilities.

00:15:56.000 You get smothered, and it cuts all your angles short.

00:15:59.000 Everything off the exchange, like if you're too close to a cage, anything off the exchange, you're cutting short.

00:16:05.000 You're going to run into the cage.

00:16:06.000 So now you can't go back that way because you won't get out of the way of the shot, and you can't go back that way.

00:16:11.000 So you have a limited amount of movements that you can make.

00:16:13.000 It's a grappler's paradise.

00:16:15.000 Yeah.

00:16:15.000 Well, it's also a brawler's paradise, right?

00:16:17.000 It's those two things.

00:16:17.000 Khabib, if the fight was done in a smaller octagon, Khabib would never lose.

00:16:22.000 I think, yeah, for sure.

00:16:24.000 But I think also one thing that it would favor is like real high-level Muay Thai guys.

00:16:29.000 In the clinch?

00:16:29.000 Yeah, they're always clinching and going after each other.

00:16:32.000 You know, and I think that style, like the Muay Thai style is not like Wonderboy style where they're sliding out of the way of everything.

00:16:39.000 They're standing right in front of you and checking things and attacking and clinching.

00:16:42.000 I don't think you'd be better for the sport maybe not better for the sport But it would be interesting to see how it favors certain styles and I think that it would favor a good wrestler with real good Muay Thai I think would be a real good Environment for them you think if let's say Francis were to just start Starch Overeem, which, listen, Overeem needs to watch his P's and Q's for 15 minutes.

00:17:04.000 He needs to use his technique, run when you have to, even if people don't like it, win by decision, great, man.

00:17:10.000 But if he doesn't watch his P's and Q's and gets starched by Francis, you think Francis deserves a shot right away?

00:17:16.000 If Francis starches him, Francis is the hottest commodity in the heavyweight division.

00:17:20.000 So he deserves a title shot.

00:17:21.000 Yeah, I think Overeem is ranked...

00:17:24.000 He's number one.

00:17:25.000 No, he's number one.

00:17:25.000 Kane's not number one?

00:17:26.000 No.

00:17:27.000 Okay, so he's number one, which is crazy for him to take this fight.

00:17:31.000 And Verdum's number two.

00:17:33.000 So no one knows, and that's really nuts.

00:17:37.000 Because that fight, like those two had, boy, that was as close a fight as you can get.

00:17:42.000 And most people thought that Verdum won.

00:17:44.000 Yeah, I think Verdum did win.

00:17:46.000 No one got robbed, though.

00:17:47.000 No one got robbed.

00:17:48.000 But Verdum hurt him, and Overeem never really hurt Verdum.

00:17:53.000 Not the same way, at least.

00:17:55.000 I'm sure he hit him hard.

00:17:56.000 I thought Verdum won the fight.

00:17:57.000 I thought Verdum won the fight, too.

00:17:59.000 I thought that one round where he rocked him and hurt him, that was the most significant moment of the fight.

00:18:04.000 For sure.

00:18:05.000 So how do you not make Francis go through Verdum to get to Stipe?

00:18:08.000 That's interesting.

00:18:09.000 It's a very good question.

00:18:10.000 Because that's a tougher matchup for Francis than Overeem.

00:18:12.000 It's a very good question.

00:18:14.000 Well, I don't know what's going on with Stipe.

00:18:17.000 Why don't they have a challenger for Stipe?

00:18:19.000 It's the heavyweight division.

00:18:20.000 It's a bunch of dinosaurs.

00:18:21.000 Right, but is that what it is? 0.99

00:18:22.000 I mean, because I had heard that there was some contract negotiation shit going on. 0.98

00:18:25.000 There's that. 0.98

00:18:26.000 Yeah, I've heard that.

00:18:28.000 Do you know where that pen's been? 1.00

00:18:29.000 You suck it on that pen. 0.99

00:18:30.000 No, I just put it here. 1.00

00:18:30.000 I don't suck on it. 1.00

00:18:31.000 No, I won't suck on it. 0.99

00:18:32.000 I'll put it on my lip. 0.99

00:18:33.000 I won't suck on it, though. 0.99

00:18:35.000 Nah, man. 0.97

00:18:36.000 Just the tip. 0.97

00:18:37.000 I won't suck on it, though. 0.98

00:18:39.000 I'll let you rub it on the outside of my mouth. 0.99

00:18:41.000 I know Stipe's ready to go for February.

00:18:44.000 He is.

00:18:44.000 Yeah.

00:18:45.000 So they just don't have an opponent for him.

00:18:47.000 Maybe they'll try to do it for January for Boston.

00:18:50.000 They're hoping that, you know, Francis and this Overeem thing work out.

00:18:54.000 Yeah, because listen, a rematch with Stipe for Overeem is a very interesting fight.

00:19:00.000 I agree.

00:19:00.000 It's a very interesting fight.

00:19:01.000 You can sell that, especially if he beats Francis, who everyone's so high and mighty on.

00:19:05.000 If you were to get by him, how can he deny it?

00:19:07.000 Yeah, it's true. 0.99

00:19:08.000 Francis is just, oh, fucking terrifying. 0.99

00:19:11.000 I'm not on board yet. 1.00

00:19:13.000 I'm terrified.

00:19:15.000 Have you seen him fight live?

00:19:18.000 No.

00:19:18.000 No, I have not.

00:19:19.000 It should be illegal.

00:19:20.000 It should be illegal.

00:19:22.000 Easy, easy.

00:19:24.000 Have you seen Overeem fight live?

00:19:26.000 Oh, I have. 0.98

00:19:27.000 Have you seen him knee fucking Mark Hunt into... 0.81

00:19:29.000 The Brock Lesnar fight was probably the scariest one because I was like, this guy's the greatest heavyweight of all time.

00:19:34.000 When he smashed Brock Lesnar like that, I'm like, oh my god, what if he could do that to Kane? 0.99

00:19:37.000 Yeah, but you're watching a superhero where I was like, ah, fuck, I don't have the resources to get on the same shit. 0.99

00:19:42.000 But now that he's off the shit and he flatlined Mark Hunt, that's scary to me. 0.99

00:19:46.000 I know, right? 0.99

00:19:47.000 What if they had no testing, though?

00:19:49.000 None.

00:19:49.000 Zero.

00:19:50.000 Like, he was able to make the testing requirements as minimal as they were back then.

00:19:56.000 He pulled it off.

00:19:58.000 He tested clean.

00:19:59.000 Yeah, he did.

00:19:59.000 God bless him.

00:20:00.000 Imagine if there was no fucking testing. 0.99

00:20:01.000 He had to cycle off. 1.00

00:20:03.000 Yeah.

00:20:03.000 You look like that cycling off.

00:20:05.000 Cycling off!

00:20:06.000 He looks like that!

00:20:07.000 But think about this. 1.00

00:20:08.000 Francis is as natural as fucking coconut water. 1.00

00:20:13.000 That motherfucker is all natural. 1.00

00:20:15.000 Now imagine if he could take something. 1.00

00:20:17.000 Oh god.

00:20:18.000 Then what do we do? 0.98

00:20:19.000 Everybody's screwed. 0.91

00:20:20.000 We got a real problem. 0.99

00:20:21.000 He shreds city, hits harder than anyone now, eating frickin' plantains.

00:20:26.000 There's Overeem.

00:20:27.000 In the Overeem days.

00:20:29.000 Bomb, bomb, bomb.

00:20:31.000 Francis is no punk, though. 0.86

00:20:32.000 Bring up Francis, that fine mocha skin. 1.00

00:20:34.000 Prime Ubrim versus Prime Tank Abbott.

00:20:37.000 Who takes it? 0.99

00:20:37.000 I'll get the fuck out of here. 0.99

00:20:39.000 The forums are hilarious, man. 0.78

00:20:40.000 They're hilarious.

00:20:41.000 How dare you? 1.00

00:20:42.000 They're so silly. 0.99

00:20:43.000 Yeah, he doesn't look the same, but he doesn't look bad. 0.98

00:20:46.000 Like, if he was just a heavyweight fighter, and he was built the way he's built now, you would say he's a powerful guy.

00:20:52.000 I mean, if you see him in his last fight, pull up the last fight with him versus Mark Hunt.

00:20:55.000 I mean, he definitely doesn't look like a small guy.

00:20:58.000 He's still somewhere around the 250-something range.

00:21:02.000 Everyone's bodies look different.

00:21:03.000 Literally everyone's bodies look different.

00:21:06.000 Yeah.

00:21:07.000 Everybody looked different.

00:21:08.000 Eric Silva was a big one that people kept bringing up.

00:21:11.000 Yeah, he was like this dime piece.

00:21:12.000 Yeah, and then it just all changed.

00:21:15.000 Yeah, but see, you look at Alistair there, he's just got more body fat, more stomach fat, less muscle.

00:21:20.000 He has a little bit of a gut.

00:21:21.000 He has almost a dad bod that works out on the weekends.

00:21:24.000 I wouldn't say that.

00:21:25.000 You said that, not me.

00:21:26.000 Well, the fit dad bod, though.

00:21:28.000 You know what I'm saying?

00:21:28.000 Like an active dad.

00:21:29.000 Yeah.

00:21:29.000 I mean, he's just...

00:21:30.000 But what's interesting is that he's such a fighter that gear or no gear, I mean, he comes to fucking fight. 1.00

00:21:37.000 He comes to kill you, man. 1.00

00:21:38.000 Because he has the best technique in the world. 1.00

00:21:40.000 Yeah, look at that. 1.00

00:21:40.000 That fucking KO. Oh, my God. 1.00

00:21:42.000 You flatline Mark Hunt, you bastard. 1.00

00:21:43.000 Yeah. 1.00

00:21:43.000 You know, Mark Hunt flew to Vegas to get all this stuff checked off, the brain scan and all that. 1.00

00:21:47.000 And what did they say about it?

00:21:49.000 I'm not sure.

00:21:49.000 But he at least made the effort to fly from Australia to there so he can clear this up and get back in the cage.

00:21:55.000 because again, I think for Francis, unless he, there's an argument, if he just goes out there and starches over him in 10 seconds, like, alright, we've got to figure out what he's worth, let's give him Stipe.

00:22:05.000 But if he doesn't, man, you could give him Mark Hunt, that's a great fight, you give him Verdum, because you've got to walk through some fire, because look at the fire Stipe walked through to be the heavyweight champ.

00:22:14.000 It's a good point, and he really has only beaten Arlovsky.

00:22:18.000 It's just we're looking at him at the magnitude of his performances against guys that ruin in his league.

00:22:24.000 You know, it's like you just see the magnitude of his impact. 0.99

00:22:28.000 He's a guy that you go, who the fuck's going to stop that? 0.96

00:22:31.000 But they're all favorable matchups. 0.98

00:22:32.000 You know what I'm saying?

00:22:33.000 It's like your favorite baseball player, he's only hitting off the pitcher who we know he can hit home run off of.

00:22:38.000 When you give him a guy who actually can throw some junk and he's not as good, or if he hits that guy, all right, then he is what he's worth.

00:22:44.000 Well, primetime Kane would have showed us what was up.

00:22:47.000 A primetime Kane versus him where you can get him down, hold him down, beat him up.

00:22:51.000 Primetime Kane, I also think Stipe right now, he's in his prime, might be at the end of his prime.

00:22:59.000 Oh, Stipe's in his prime.

00:23:00.000 I don't think Stipe's at the end of his prime at all.

00:23:03.000 I think Stipe's right in there.

00:23:05.000 He's right there.

00:23:07.000 I want to see Francis wrestle.

00:23:09.000 That's what I want to see.

00:23:10.000 But again, from sources, they say he's a nightmare to take down.

00:23:14.000 I believe it. 0.96

00:23:14.000 I mean, he looks so goddamn strong. 0.96

00:23:16.000 And the way he hits... 0.96

00:23:18.000 I mean, he hits...

00:23:19.000 Your window of opening is so little, and your mistakes are so costly.

00:23:23.000 Anytime you make a mistake with him, you just get bombed on so hard.

00:23:27.000 You're like, no!

00:23:28.000 But...

00:23:29.000 But when you got a guy like Cain or Stipe where they go, I know you got power. 0.99

00:23:32.000 I'm going to put my chest in your freaking chest for 25 minutes. 1.00

00:23:36.000 I'm going to put my head straight in your chest. 1.00

00:23:38.000 Good luck firing off, man. 0.99

00:23:39.000 And when you do fire off, I'm going to take you down.

00:23:41.000 At least keep you busy so you can't just fire off.

00:23:44.000 Now deal with that. 0.83

00:23:45.000 And throw ridiculous combinations on you with constant barrage of strikes. 0.98

00:23:50.000 Keep hammering you over and over again. 0.99

00:23:52.000 Hammer fists, elbows, punches, punches, punches. 0.93

00:23:56.000 You never get tired.

00:23:57.000 Francis is similar to me as a JDS. Similar where decent footwork.

00:24:03.000 I don't think he's athletic as JDS, but good footwork, power puncher.

00:24:06.000 But when you get a guy like Steve Bear Kane who don't play that game on the outside with you and just want to get dirty, you're in some trouble, man.

00:24:12.000 Well, it's going to be interesting to see if he's in some trouble.

00:24:15.000 Because if he can stuff to take down, if he can keep those guys standing up with him, then you're going to see some nightmares.

00:24:20.000 Because he's getting better all the time.

00:24:21.000 The thing about Francis, he hasn't even really been fighting that long.

00:24:24.000 He doesn't have this long, crazy record.

00:24:26.000 No, not at all.

00:24:27.000 And the UFC was like, you might be something special.

00:24:30.000 Let's come to Vegas and you just work out in this... 0.99

00:24:33.000 Sports center while we inject this Bain supplement in you, whatever the fuck it is. 0.99

00:24:38.000 You don't even use protein powder he's worried about testing hot. 0.99

00:24:40.000 Wow.

00:24:41.000 He takes nothing.

00:24:42.000 Good.

00:24:43.000 Perfect. 0.99

00:24:43.000 We need to see what the fuck's possible. 0.99

00:24:45.000 I agree. 0.99

00:24:46.000 What kind of genetics are there out there?

00:24:47.000 I agree.

00:24:48.000 He's like, you know, we were talking yesterday about Bo Jackson.

00:24:52.000 Callan and I were going up about Bo Jackson.

00:24:54.000 There's certain athletes that in their prime, they're just like, we're just a notch above everything else.

00:24:59.000 Like just out of the womb, there's a notch.

00:25:02.000 Just a different animal.

00:25:03.000 We don't all start at the same starting line.

00:25:05.000 Hershel Walker, another good example. 0.52

00:25:07.000 Freak.

00:25:07.000 What's that?

00:25:08.000 See, my problem is, we can't put Francis in that discussion yet.

00:25:12.000 Not yet.

00:25:13.000 Not even close.

00:25:14.000 No, not yet.

00:25:14.000 He's not even close there.

00:25:16.000 He has some work to do.

00:25:17.000 Not as far as greatness and accomplishments.

00:25:20.000 Freakish?

00:25:21.000 But as far as like physical freak.

00:25:23.000 I don't know yet.

00:25:25.000 Yeah, I don't know either. 0.95

00:25:26.000 But Francis scares the shit out of me when you watch him hit people. 0.97

00:25:28.000 It's BOOM! You see him go, oh Jesus! 0.98

00:25:31.000 He's just so big and so powerful and so undeniable.

00:25:36.000 When he comes moving in for the kill, he's undeniable.

00:25:39.000 He's a very scary guy.

00:25:42.000 You're totally right.

00:25:42.000 He's got to be tested.

00:25:43.000 We've seen many, many guys like him go bust.

00:25:46.000 Overeem is a test, but Overeem's a guy where for 15 minutes, if Francis lands that frickin' bomb of his, Overeem's probably going out because his chin's not the same.

00:25:58.000 He's been in so many up and down wars, you know?

00:26:02.000 Francis is a naturally bigger man.

00:26:04.000 I mean, you gotta remember Alistair fought at 205 before.

00:26:06.000 He fought Chuck at 205. He used to be real skinny.

00:26:08.000 That's right. 1.00

00:26:09.000 Francis is a big motherfucker. 1.00

00:26:11.000 He's big. 1.00

00:26:12.000 I mean, he's a natural 265-pound man.

00:26:17.000 Thick, dude.

00:26:17.000 Yeah, that's a dangerous guy because in the beginning of the fight, especially, if he pushed pressure and he moves forward and puts pressure and he's like real explosive and fast, something gets in there.

00:26:28.000 Something gets in there.

00:26:30.000 Here's the X factor is Overeem in the clinch.

00:26:32.000 There's no one better than the heavyweight division.

00:26:34.000 We haven't seen Francis in the clinch with a world-class guy like Overeem.

00:26:38.000 Because again, Overeem we forget because the Demolition Man's been around so long.

00:26:42.000 He gets in that clinch, those elbows, those knees.

00:26:45.000 The knees! 1.00

00:26:45.000 Best knees in the fucking division. 1.00

00:26:47.000 God, yeah. 1.00

00:26:47.000 That's Mark Hunt. 1.00

00:26:50.000 That's Fujita.

00:26:51.000 Yeah.

00:26:53.000 That was horrifying.

00:26:55.000 Almost killed a guy.

00:26:56.000 Who's that other guy, the kickboxer?

00:26:57.000 Teixeira, I think?

00:26:59.000 The kickboxer that he fought over in K1, where they decided to make it so he could only hold one hand behind the head.

00:27:06.000 Alistair would get two hands behind your head, and that was night and night.

00:27:09.000 Do work, yeah, demolition, man.

00:27:10.000 You just drop those knees on your chin.

00:27:12.000 See, that's the funnest fight on the card to me, Francis Overeem.

00:27:14.000 Just where they go, their career paths, stuff like that.

00:27:17.000 I'd say the Gagey Alvarez one is.

00:27:21.000 But they're both right up.

00:27:23.000 Look, there's three giant fights in this card.

00:27:26.000 The Aldo Holloway fight is a giant fight for me.

00:27:28.000 I want that fight.

00:27:29.000 I want to see it.

00:27:30.000 I like the fight just if we're going off Aldo's words saying he did have issues with his legs.

00:27:36.000 That's why he wasn't kicking before.

00:27:38.000 I don't buy it.

00:27:39.000 I really don't buy it.

00:27:40.000 And if that was a problem...

00:27:42.000 You don't think it's true?

00:27:43.000 I don't, but because in his previous fights and fights after that, he hasn't been using all of his tools.

00:27:48.000 Well, I think there's a strategy for that, though.

00:27:50.000 The Frankie Edgar fight, I really believe that he didn't use his kicks because I think he felt like Frankie was training for those kicks.

00:27:58.000 And he was training to take him down off the leg kicks.

00:28:00.000 Everyone kicks, though. 0.97

00:28:01.000 We know all that, but he's so goddamn good at it. 0.98

00:28:03.000 He didn't. 0.97

00:28:04.000 He just boxed.

00:28:05.000 To me, he's become very fundamental in just boxing, playing his feet.

00:28:09.000 He's gotten away from what got him to the dance.

00:28:12.000 Maybe.

00:28:13.000 Or we can go he was hurt.

00:28:15.000 Yeah, if we're basing it on those two fights, and if you have to believe him, and I'm just going to believe him just for the sake of believing him, if he says his leg was hurt, it makes sense.

00:28:22.000 It also makes sense how he was getting tired quick.

00:28:24.000 He got tired pretty quick in that fight.

00:28:26.000 Yeah, he did.

00:28:26.000 Which, if he had a leg injury, it would make sense.

00:28:28.000 He wouldn't be able to push as hard in camp.

00:28:30.000 And he was winning those early rounds.

00:28:32.000 Yeah.

00:28:32.000 There was a huge speed advantage for Aldo early in those rounds.

00:28:36.000 And then Max Holloway took over.

00:28:37.000 Yeah, well, Max Holloway measures you.

00:28:39.000 You know, he doesn't burn himself out early.

00:28:40.000 He's got tremendous endurance.

00:28:42.000 He measures you, and he starts putting it on you, putting it on you.

00:28:45.000 What Max is really good at is distance control.

00:28:48.000 Really good at movement and distance control and just not being there.

00:28:52.000 He's also big and long.

00:28:54.000 And the cut doesn't kill him.

00:28:56.000 For 145, he's very tall.

00:28:58.000 Very physically strong.

00:28:59.000 He also hits like a Mack truck.

00:29:00.000 Yep.

00:29:00.000 Hits like a truck and he's just got that thing.

00:29:03.000 He's got that savage champion warrior spirit. 1.00

00:29:06.000 You're going to have to kill him to get him out of there. 1.00

00:29:08.000 Yeah, man. 1.00

00:29:08.000 And he's just... 1.00

00:29:10.000 It's he's a fascinating guy cuz he's like Hawaiian to the bone, you know?

00:29:14.000 And you go over to Hawaii, man, and he has the next shot at being like the new BJ Penn.

00:29:21.000 BJ Penn is a legend and he's a legend from the early days and he's a legend when he went up to heavyweight and fought Lyoto Machida. 0.97

00:29:29.000 BJ was a fucking monster in his day. 0.97

00:29:32.000 One of my favorite people. 1.00

00:29:33.000 A monster.

00:29:34.000 So it's going to be a while before Max gets into those lofty grounds, but he's on his way.

00:29:39.000 He's on his way.

00:29:39.000 And what's interesting is both BJ and Max are two of the nicest guys in the world.

00:29:44.000 Yeah, super nice guys.

00:29:44.000 They both have that in common.

00:29:46.000 They're both from Hawaii, both monsters. 1.00

00:29:48.000 Yeah.

00:29:48.000 No, Max could, especially at 145, because Conor's never going back there.

00:29:53.000 For Max, he could be a BJ Penn type.

00:29:56.000 Yeah, I wonder if he challenges Conor.

00:29:58.000 If Conor comes back, who knows?

00:30:00.000 What did Conor do?

00:30:01.000 Did he just get in a brawl, in a bar?

00:30:03.000 Is that real?

00:30:03.000 Oh, it's so...

00:30:06.000 You know, in Dana White's Scrum, he goes, listen, if it was that big, there'd be more video of it.

00:30:11.000 Dana's basically saying, I'm skeptical of hip lies that happened.

00:30:15.000 People that I know in Dublin and that are blowing me up are saying, dude, it's real.

00:30:19.000 Conor's in a bit of trouble.

00:30:21.000 Because he has a friend from one area of Ireland that's in this mafia and that got beat up by these guys.

00:30:27.000 Conor finds out the guys who beat up his friend are in this bar.

00:30:30.000 So Conor comes in there and beats the hell out of that guy.

00:30:32.000 Well, that guy's associated with this pretty intense, We're good to go. 0.99

00:30:57.000 Here's the background of the guys that he's messing with, and they've done some gnarly shit. 0.96

00:31:01.000 There was a boxing promotion that they just came in dressed as masked men and shot up the whole thing. 0.98

00:31:08.000 He's dealing with gnarly dudes.

00:31:11.000 Whoa.

00:31:12.000 But then, again, I guess in Dublin, especially Conor being who he is, you can have these associations with this underground world, stuff like that.

00:31:18.000 What are you trying to say about Dublin, bro?

00:31:20.000 It's awesome.

00:31:21.000 It's my favorite place I've ever been.

00:31:23.000 Man, that is terrible.

00:31:25.000 That's a terrible scene.

00:31:27.000 I don't know what to believe.

00:31:28.000 I don't know the ins and outs of it.

00:31:30.000 I don't, you know, and Dana again said this in his scrum.

00:31:32.000 It's always fascinating when Dana does those scrums because it's all hearsay, stuff like that, but then they go, you know, what's next for Conor?

00:31:38.000 You got to fight for him?

00:31:39.000 He goes, listen, man, this guy's $100 million in the bank. 0.99

00:31:42.000 Fighting sucks. 0.98

00:31:43.000 I don't know if he's ever going to get punched in the face again. 0.99

00:31:46.000 He has $100 million.

00:31:46.000 It's a legit point.

00:31:47.000 It's a totally legit point.

00:31:49.000 But A hundred million dollars can go a lot faster than you think if you like the ball.

00:31:54.000 Because here's the thing, you don't really get a hundred million dollars.

00:31:56.000 You get a hundred million dollars, but then you got to pay taxes.

00:31:59.000 You got to pay your trainer fee.

00:32:01.000 You got to pay whatever you pay your manager.

00:32:03.000 So let's say you have 70. You want to have 70. After taxes?

00:32:07.000 Yep, nope, nope, nope, nope.

00:32:08.000 If you make a hundred in America, in America if you make a hundred, I mean like realistically, I think it's everything over $250,000 a year is taxed Find out what that is.

00:32:20.000 It's 35%?

00:32:20.000 38% or something like that.

00:32:22.000 And then, you know, you got to think...

00:32:24.000 He's got managers and trainers and agents.

00:32:27.000 Here's a question that I should know the answer to, but I do not.

00:32:29.000 When you make money, if you're from Ireland, you make money in America, do you have to pay taxes in America?

00:32:34.000 Because I know you have to do that if you make money in Canada.

00:32:36.000 If you make money in Canada, like you do gigs in Canada, you have to pay taxes in Canada.

00:32:40.000 I had to pay taxes in Dublin and England and Australia when I did comedy out there.

00:32:44.000 And then you also have to pay those taxes when you get home.

00:32:47.000 You have to pay your own taxes.

00:32:48.000 Correct.

00:32:48.000 So I don't know if you get double taxed, but there's ways around it.

00:32:51.000 So let's say...

00:32:52.000 So let's say he makes 60. Let's get to 60. I was going to say 40, being cool.

00:32:55.000 Let's be cool.

00:32:56.000 But Remarie has 40 million dollars. 1.00

00:32:57.000 But that's just based off of the fight.

00:33:00.000 Now think about his endorsements.

00:33:01.000 He can go through 40 million dollars in three years. 1.00

00:33:04.000 If you're a complete fucking moron. 1.00

00:33:08.000 No, if you're the same type of guy that is Conor McGregor. 1.00

00:33:12.000 I don't know about that because we're basing off his Instagram, which is a persona of him, right?

00:33:18.000 So you see the Royals Royces, these watches, a lot of the stuff.

00:33:22.000 Remember, a lot of those Royals Royces people give to them.

00:33:25.000 them.

00:33:25.000 Right.

00:33:25.000 They donated them.

00:33:26.000 He's renting those.

00:33:27.000 Because he was standing on one of them.

00:33:28.000 Yeah.

00:33:29.000 They're like, bro, we gave that for you for the day. 1.00

00:33:31.000 You're shitting on a Rolex. 0.99

00:33:32.000 But, um, or Rolls Royce. 0.99

00:33:34.000 Yeah. 1.00

00:33:34.000 So I think, I don't know if he's that stupid with his money. 1.00

00:33:37.000 That's interesting. 0.99

00:33:38.000 Well if that's the case, if he's not really completely balling out of control and all those Bentley photos and everything like that is all just for show and it's part of the persona and part of the act, that makes sense.

00:33:47.000 Well if that's the case and he just wants to live Like a fairly large?

00:33:53.000 He's living large, don't get me wrong. 1.00

00:33:54.000 But he's not Mike Tyson stupid, John Jones stupid. 1.00

00:33:57.000 But he's private jet stupid, right? 1.00

00:33:59.000 Again, a lot of that can be borrowed. 1.00

00:34:01.000 Yeah, it could be. 0.98

00:34:03.000 I mean they're not even saying private jets do but if you got a hundred million dollars do whatever the fuck you want sir. 0.97

00:34:07.000 What I'm saying is if you want it to last for the rest of your days. 0.98

00:34:10.000 Well if you just invest it right you're straight.

00:34:12.000 See the other thing is that the amount of possibility for him to make money it's so staggering right now that I don't see that this is going to be the end.

00:34:22.000 I just do not agree with anybody that thinks he's not going to fight again. 0.98

00:34:25.000 I think you're crazy. 0.90

00:34:27.000 I think he's going to get bored. 0.99

00:34:28.000 I think he's going to want a challenge.

00:34:29.000 I think he's going to realize there's a tremendous amount of money out there to be made.

00:34:32.000 I'm not crazy.

00:34:33.000 Dana White's crazy because I think he's going to fight again.

00:34:35.000 Dana said he doesn't think he's going to fight again. 0.99

00:34:37.000 Fighting sucks. 0.88

00:34:38.000 Those aren't my words. 0.98

00:34:39.000 I actually think he's going to fight again because I think he's more than just about money.

00:34:43.000 I think he's more about his legacy and what his Kind of footmark in the sport is and I think he knows he has to defend that 155 pound title but he also knows Manny Pacquiao called him out and he can go make a quick whatever 50-60 million fighting Pacquiao.

00:34:59.000 Yeah.

00:34:59.000 So there's a lot of opportunities there but I also know for a fact he has a shitload of opportunities in Hollywood as well.

00:35:05.000 Non-stop. 0.99

00:35:07.000 Damn. 1.00

00:35:08.000 So he's gonna be fine either way as long as he doesn't get shot by a Dublin gangster he should be fine. 1.00

00:35:13.000 Yeah. 1.00

00:35:16.000 Fuck, man. 1.00

00:35:17.000 The other thing is, is GSP's not fighting Whitaker. 1.00

00:35:22.000 GSP's...

00:35:22.000 The rumor, Mel, from what I hear, is he might want to see if he can cut to 70. See if he can still get to 70 and do a super fight with Conor there.

00:35:34.000 Conor?

00:35:36.000 See, that's what I had said.

00:35:38.000 I'd say that GSP would be like the biggest financial boom.

00:35:42.000 If I was WME, I'd be like, listen, can we make this happen?

00:35:45.000 That's what they want to do.

00:35:47.000 In a dream situation, that's what all sides would want to have happen.

00:35:52.000 And GSP, he's taking time off now, but I know he's going to see if he can cut to 70 to possibly make that happen.

00:35:58.000 Wow.

00:36:00.000 He should be able to do it.

00:36:01.000 Don't you think?

00:36:02.000 Or is he getting too thick?

00:36:02.000 He is thicker than the Three Musketeers right now.

00:36:05.000 He was thick, Siddy, in that Bisping fight.

00:36:08.000 He was pretty jacked.

00:36:09.000 It's a lot of...

00:36:10.000 Luke must be doing a lot of strength and conditioning.

00:36:13.000 Yeah. 0.99

00:36:13.000 A lot of fucking... 0.99

00:36:14.000 He's a muscular dude. 1.00

00:36:15.000 He's getting older, too, so the weight comes on.

00:36:17.000 Yeah.

00:36:18.000 But I wonder what he's doing for his weightlifting routine.

00:36:21.000 You just have to get super strict.

00:36:23.000 Also, I bet he could do it, especially at 70, if he realizes the possibilities on a super fight like Conor.

00:36:29.000 Because, have you seen the numbers on his fight with Bisping?

00:36:32.000 No.

00:36:33.000 I think he came in at about 865. That's not bad.

00:36:37.000 Not great, though.

00:36:38.000 It's not as good as he could do.

00:36:40.000 Well, it's not as good as the pay-per-view blockbuster stars.

00:36:46.000 No.

00:36:47.000 It's not what they're hoping.

00:36:48.000 But being out for four years... 0.96

00:36:49.000 See, the thing is, and you and I were talking about this, is that we both agreed, like, there's a lot of fans that are fans now that don't have a fucking clue who he is. 0.78

00:36:56.000 At least didn't before that fight. 0.84

00:36:58.000 No, they came in with Ronda.

00:36:59.000 Yeah.

00:37:00.000 Post-Ronda and post-Connor.

00:37:01.000 I think Ronda brought a gigantic group in, and then Connor brought another, even more gigantic group in. 0.97

00:37:06.000 And especially the kids today that are like 18, 19, 20, 21, they have no fucking idea. 0.98

00:37:12.000 No clue. 0.98

00:37:12.000 You have to be hardcore to know who GSP is. 0.98

00:37:14.000 Correct.

00:37:14.000 But now they know.

00:37:15.000 Now they know he's the middle-A champ. 1.00

00:37:16.000 Holy shit, he came back. 0.99

00:37:18.000 People will talk, and it'll build it up, and then the next one will be bigger. 0.99

00:37:21.000 I think he...

00:37:22.000 See, even if he fought Whitaker, I don't think it breaks a million.

00:37:26.000 Even now.

00:37:26.000 I think you're probably...

00:37:29.000 In the ballpark.

00:37:30.000 I think it's probably going to be close to a million for that fight.

00:37:32.000 I think he does it around 850 to 900 again.

00:37:34.000 It might be a little better.

00:37:36.000 Maybe it's in Australia for pay-per-view.

00:37:38.000 I think he has to have a partner, a dance partner like Conor to break a million.

00:37:43.000 Hmm.

00:37:44.000 Well, the Conor fight would be a million if Conor fought your mom.

00:37:46.000 Oh my...

00:37:47.000 I mean, yeah, straight up.

00:37:48.000 Yeah.

00:37:48.000 Yeah, no, if Conor and Jamie Fudd be two million.

00:37:51.000 Yeah, two million.

00:37:52.000 Especially now.

00:37:52.000 Anything he does after that Floyd Mayweather, there's so much, you know, just hype.

00:37:56.000 Everyone wants to see his next move.

00:37:57.000 It's going to be the biggest UFC of all time.

00:37:59.000 Yeah, just for that.

00:38:01.000 Boy.

00:38:02.000 Yeah, there's not a lot of, like, giant matchups right now that are looming that make me excited more than that one does.

00:38:10.000 Conor versus GSP is like, whoa.

00:38:13.000 That's like a, like, I want to sit down and think about that one for a while.

00:38:16.000 Well, see, I have thought down and thought about it, and it's not a great fight for Conor.

00:38:23.000 70 is not where Conor belongs, especially with the greatest welterweight of all time who can grapple his balls off. 0.98

00:38:31.000 Grapple his balls off. 0.96

00:38:31.000 He gets you to the ground. 0.96

00:38:32.000 He's going to fuck you up. 1.00

00:38:34.000 He's going to fuck you up. 1.00

00:38:35.000 He's so much stronger. 1.00

00:38:36.000 George is so big now. 0.99

00:38:38.000 When I put my arm around him, when I was doing the interviews with him at the weigh-ins, I was like, what in the fuck? 0.99

00:38:42.000 Thick. 0.97

00:38:43.000 And this is like weighed in, rehydrated all day, and then I get to him at like 6 o'clock, which is what they're doing now, which is kind of interesting.

00:38:49.000 But I was like, wow, he's like 200 pounds plus.

00:38:52.000 He's a big boy.

00:38:52.000 Yeah, he's way bigger than he used to be.

00:38:54.000 And everybody thought that Bisping was going to have this big advantage over him size-wise.

00:38:58.000 George also has a very long style, keeps his legs wide, bounces around a lot in and out, and so he accomplishes a lot with his distance and his ability to close the distance.

00:39:10.000 It's only the size and reach advantage that Bisping had just didn't play in at all.

00:39:15.000 That being said though, not Bisping, GSP has no business being a middleweight.

00:39:20.000 That's not the land for him.

00:39:22.000 Robert Whitaker's...

00:39:24.000 Dangerous fight for him at 185. But it's really the only fight.

00:39:28.000 Granted, he's the champ.

00:39:30.000 The size isn't that big of a deal.

00:39:33.000 The problem is he's in his prime.

00:39:34.000 He's young, hits like a Mack truck.

00:39:36.000 Oh, and he's good at everything. 1.00

00:39:37.000 He's good at everything, and he fires fucking bombs at your face. 1.00

00:39:41.000 He's trying to knock you out. 1.00

00:39:43.000 He's tactical striking just to the opening is there.

00:39:45.000 It's very interesting with Whitaker because he's the smaller guy at 85 in the land of the dinosaurs right now, the land of the giants with Rockhold.

00:39:54.000 You got Yoel, Jacare, all these monsters.

00:39:58.000 Weidman's a big boy. 0.77

00:39:59.000 You have all those monsters.

00:40:00.000 Then you have a guy like GSP who's your interim champion.

00:40:03.000 And then you got Kelvin that people are talking about where Kelvin's the undersized guy too.

00:40:07.000 Well, GSP's not the interim champion.

00:40:09.000 He's the legit champion.

00:40:10.000 Whitaker's the interim champion. 0.99

00:40:11.000 That's true, which is such bullshit. 0.99

00:40:12.000 It's kind of crazy, right? 1.00

00:40:14.000 Yeah.

00:40:15.000 So you have two champions, right? 1.00

00:40:16.000 But it's such bullshit. 1.00

00:40:18.000 Is it, though? 1.00

00:40:18.000 Yeah. 1.00

00:40:19.000 It's bullshit. 1.00

00:40:19.000 What's bullshit about it? 1.00

00:40:20.000 Take four years off, you jump the queue, you fight a guy that's a perfect matchup for you, and you win. 0.98

00:40:26.000 We didn't know that, though. 0.99

00:40:26.000 You've got Whitaker, who walked through fucking monster land. 0.99

00:40:30.000 But in his defense, he couldn't fight then. 0.99

00:40:32.000 He was injured.

00:40:33.000 I know, I'm just saying!

00:40:34.000 Right, but if they could not have made the Whittaker vs. 0.98

00:40:36.000 Bisping fight any earlier, because Whittaker's knee was fucked up. 0.98

00:40:39.000 True.

00:40:40.000 So there was no fight to be made other than this in the middleweight division unless you wanted to have Yoel, who just fought for the title and lost, fight Bisping for the real title after he lost for the interim title.

00:40:51.000 That doesn't necessarily make sense.

00:40:52.000 Heaven forbid we should wait.

00:40:54.000 Heaven forbid, let's rush everything.

00:40:57.000 Didn't you enjoy the GSP fight?

00:40:59.000 Yeah, I did.

00:41:00.000 Yeah, I'm not a hater.

00:41:01.000 What's the objecting?

00:41:04.000 There's no objecting.

00:41:05.000 I'm just saying, to me, the real champion at 85 would be Whittaker.

00:41:09.000 I don't give GSP that title.

00:41:11.000 I do, because Bisping knocked out Rockhold.

00:41:15.000 It's really simple.

00:41:16.000 Rockhold was absolutely the world champion.

00:41:18.000 Correct.

00:41:19.000 Bisping absolutely knocked him out.

00:41:21.000 Correct.

00:41:21.000 And then he beat Dan Henderson.

00:41:22.000 Which is an argument there.

00:41:25.000 Yeah, it was a little bit of an argument.

00:41:25.000 We like it as guys who are Dan Anderson fans, but let's be real.

00:41:30.000 Let's be real.

00:41:30.000 Was he the No.

00:41:31.000 1 guy in the world at that time to fight for the no-weight title?

00:41:34.000 Probably not.

00:41:35.000 It was exciting to give Bisping what he wanted, which is a shot at redemption.

00:41:39.000 Yeah, but he did win.

00:41:40.000 He won the fight, although Dan thought he won.

00:41:43.000 You know, I could see Dan definitely hurt him more.

00:41:45.000 My God!

00:41:46.000 How about Bisping's chin?

00:41:48.000 Yeah, incredible.

00:41:49.000 And what Dan said after the fight, I wish they judged fights on how the other guy looks after the fight.

00:41:52.000 That's hilarious.

00:41:53.000 That's hilarious.

00:41:54.000 Because he didn't have a scratch on him. 0.99

00:41:55.000 Bisping should go down as the top three middleweights of all time just based off doing this with one fucking eye. 0.99

00:42:01.000 He has one eye, man. 1.00

00:42:03.000 What he's doing is insane.

00:42:05.000 Yeah, he's got oil in his right eye, right, to keep his retina in place. 1.00

00:42:08.000 He's a maniac, man.

00:42:09.000 He's one of the best of all time to me. 1.00

00:42:11.000 Retinas are scary shit, man. 1.00

00:42:12.000 Scary shit. 1.00

00:42:12.000 Scary shit when that stuff starts going. 1.00

00:42:14.000 I'm just saying, if you look at what Whitaker... 0.99

00:42:17.000 It's a little more impressive to me.

00:42:19.000 Well, it's a little more impressive because he beat Yoel Romero. 0.99

00:42:21.000 And he beat Yoel Romero in a fucking tough fight. 0.95

00:42:24.000 And he beat him after Yoel Romero hyperextended his leg and blew his knee out in the first round. 0.99

00:42:29.000 And before that, he starched Jacare.

00:42:31.000 Starched.

00:42:32.000 Starched him.

00:42:33.000 Easily.

00:42:34.000 Yeah.

00:42:34.000 So it's like, you know, he's walked through the fire.

00:42:36.000 The same thing with Francis Ganot.

00:42:37.000 You know, like, you gotta walk through that fire, man, to me, to get there.

00:42:41.000 I agree.

00:42:42.000 But that's not the world we live in.

00:42:44.000 Yeah, but you gotta make the Bisping fight. 0.95

00:42:46.000 If I was the UFC, I would've made that fight.

00:42:48.000 GSB says he wants to come back and fight Bisping.

00:42:49.000 Bisping says I want to get that big payday.

00:42:51.000 Me too.

00:42:51.000 I go, let's make this fight.

00:42:52.000 Me too.

00:42:53.000 I'm with you.

00:42:53.000 Let's make this fight.

00:42:53.000 I'm with you.

00:42:54.000 I make the fight, too.

00:42:55.000 I make the fight, too.

00:42:56.000 And what's interesting is you have the smaller guy being the champ right now.

00:43:00.000 And for Kelvin, he doesn't match up great with anyone freaking six through one.

00:43:05.000 But he does match up great with the champ.

00:43:07.000 So you've got to decide what you want to do with him.

00:43:09.000 Because Kelvin can be world champion at 70, not at 85. Unless he fights Whitaker.

00:43:14.000 Hold on.

00:43:15.000 You don't think that Kelvin could beat GSP? GSP's not fighting at 85, brother.

00:43:19.000 But he's the champ.

00:43:21.000 It doesn't matter.

00:43:22.000 Do you think he can beat Matt Hughes?

00:43:24.000 We should have that conversation because GSP is going to fight at...

00:43:27.000 Wait a minute.

00:43:28.000 No, but GSP is the 185-pound champ.

00:43:31.000 Kelvin is competing at 185. But that's what it is.

00:43:36.000 What do you got here?

00:43:37.000 Oh, the order?

00:43:39.000 Where's Kelvin?

00:43:39.000 He's down at No.

00:43:40.000 9. I think he should be a little higher.

00:43:42.000 He just knocked out the former champ, Michael Bisping, who's No.

00:43:44.000 2. That doesn't make any sense.

00:43:46.000 I don't care if Bisping was coming off of a tough fight with GSP. It's definitely probably hampered his performance.

00:43:52.000 He should be at 7. There's no way.

00:43:54.000 Kelvin should be at 9 and Bisping is at 2. That doesn't make any sense.

00:43:57.000 Maybe they didn't update it.

00:43:58.000 Hold up, but you're saying Kelvin should be at 2?

00:44:00.000 That's crazy.

00:44:01.000 No, no, no.

00:44:02.000 That's not what I'm saying.

00:44:03.000 No, what I'm saying is there's no way that Bisping should be 2 if Kelvin just knocked him out.

00:44:07.000 And Kelvin's 9. That doesn't make sense.

00:44:09.000 What's the point of having a ranking? 0.98

00:44:10.000 Kelvin shouldn't be 9, but he should as fuck shouldn't be 2. He should be past Bisping. 0.97

00:44:15.000 Ooh, that's tough.

00:44:16.000 What about the body of work?

00:44:17.000 No, he just knocked him out.

00:44:18.000 It doesn't matter.

00:44:19.000 The ranking is, where are you at right now?

00:44:21.000 If a guy beats you in a basketball tournament, right?

00:44:24.000 Doesn't he move forward?

00:44:25.000 A guy beats you in a wrestling tournament.

00:44:26.000 Doesn't he move forward?

00:44:27.000 Yeah, we don't look at someone's past and say, this is who you are forever.

00:44:30.000 We look at your present performance.

00:44:32.000 The last performance that Michael Bisping had was against Kelvin Gaslam.

00:44:36.000 Kelvin beat him in a decisive, very clear and dominating way.

00:44:42.000 He moves ahead.

00:44:44.000 Was that the best Bisping, though?

00:44:45.000 Doesn't matter.

00:44:46.000 Oh, you don't care about any of that stuff.

00:44:47.000 He's ranked higher.

00:44:48.000 All we can go on is the contest itself.

00:44:51.000 The contest itself was very obviously won by Kelvin in a spectacular way.

00:44:56.000 Ba-bing! 0.99

00:44:56.000 He drops that right jab in and that straight left hand. 0.99

00:44:59.000 Nasty.

00:45:00.000 Amazing performance. 0.87

00:45:01.000 Amazing performance.

00:45:02.000 Kelvin's a monster.

00:45:02.000 He's ahead of Bisping.

00:45:03.000 Facts.

00:45:05.000 Anybody who says differently.

00:45:06.000 That's fine.

00:45:07.000 You can put him ahead of Bisping.

00:45:10.000 However, you can't put him at No.

00:45:11.000 2 middleweight in the world.

00:45:12.000 No, I wouldn't.

00:45:13.000 Because I think Weidman's in the mix.

00:45:14.000 Yoel Romero's in the mix.

00:45:15.000 Weidman beat him!

00:45:16.000 Yes.

00:45:16.000 Jock Ray's a bad matchup.

00:45:18.000 Luke Rockhold is a monster of that division.

00:45:22.000 If I put money on somebody, Luke Rockhold's going to be the champion of that division.

00:45:26.000 He could be.

00:45:27.000 Or David Branch almost took him out.

00:45:30.000 Remember that?

00:45:30.000 David Branch hurt him.

00:45:31.000 Almost took out who?

00:45:32.000 Luke Rockhold.

00:45:33.000 Oh, come on. 0.87

00:45:34.000 He had him hurt.

00:45:34.000 You don't think he had him hurt?

00:45:35.000 Not that bad.

00:45:36.000 I think he had him hurt. 0.99

00:45:37.000 I think he had him hurt, but Rockhold showed what a fucking animal he is and came through it. 0.99

00:45:41.000 But what happens if someone like Yoel Romero catches him like that? 0.99

00:45:46.000 What happens if someone like Robert Whittaker catches him like that?

00:45:49.000 With Rockhold?

00:45:50.000 My thing is, Rockhold is a beast, but anything can happen in that division when these guys are that good.

00:45:55.000 Even David Branch, who's a very good fighter and hadn't lost in like Five years?

00:46:00.000 World Series again, though.

00:46:01.000 Yeah, again.

00:46:02.000 But gave, until he got tired, gave Rockhold a very tough experience.

00:46:07.000 He came at him.

00:46:08.000 Yes, he came at him.

00:46:09.000 It wasn't like Rockhold dominated the fight.

00:46:11.000 Remember, Rockhold had a long-ass layoff.

00:46:14.000 He's doing the modeling thing.

00:46:15.000 He wanted this sort of matchup.

00:46:17.000 He wanted this sort of money.

00:46:18.000 And then that long-ass layoff.

00:46:20.000 Then you fight this middleweight champion, light heavyweight champion for the World Series.

00:46:24.000 And it's his biggest fight of all time.

00:46:26.000 He brings it towards Rockhold.

00:46:30.000 Went in the storm, took his back, and smashed him. 0.70

00:46:32.000 Smashed him. 0.99

00:46:33.000 Smashed him. 0.81

00:46:34.000 Henzo Gracie blackmailed.

00:46:35.000 My point is that that absolutely...

00:46:37.000 He broke him.

00:46:37.000 He did.

00:46:38.000 He definitely did.

00:46:38.000 He broke him.

00:46:39.000 He wore him down, too.

00:46:40.000 He was exhausted by the time.

00:46:41.000 That's basically after how long I'm off?

00:46:42.000 14 months off?

00:46:43.000 Mm-hmm.

00:46:44.000 Which, you know...

00:46:45.000 No, he's one of the most underrated guys, especially at getting you down and holding you down.

00:46:49.000 Look what he did to Lyoto Machida, look what he did to Weidman, and look what he did to David Branch.

00:46:53.000 Those guys are all very good at the ground, and he smashes them.

00:46:55.000 And you go back to Strikeforce days, his Jock Ray fights, Tim Kennedy, he's fought the best of the best, man.

00:47:01.000 He's definitely been a savage his entire career, but you still have to realize Bisping did knock him out.

00:47:07.000 And you know what, man? 0.81

00:47:07.000 You're in a division where you're talking about a ton of psychos. 0.81

00:47:11.000 Like, you've got Robert Whitaker, Yoel Romero, Chris Weidman.

00:47:15.000 You've got GSP if he decides to stay in the division.

00:47:18.000 But you don't think he will.

00:47:19.000 Never.

00:47:19.000 Okay, he's the champ.

00:47:21.000 Whitaker's the champ!

00:47:22.000 You've got these killers, and then Luke Rockhold might be the best out of all of them.

00:47:26.000 Yes.

00:47:27.000 But he might not be.

00:47:28.000 We really don't know.

00:47:29.000 I mean, I'm excited about that.

00:47:30.000 I'm excited about them. 0.93

00:47:32.000 I'm excited about, you look at him on paper, you go, yeah, Rockhold might be the best of the bunch, but goddamn it's hard to root against Whitaker. 0.80

00:47:38.000 It's hard to bet against that guy. 0.75

00:47:39.000 Yeah, I'm done betting against Whitaker. 0.99

00:47:41.000 Especially after he stuffed all the fucking takedowns from Yolo Romero with one knee. 0.99

00:47:44.000 I'm on that Whitaker train just like I'm on the Darren Till train. 0.99

00:47:47.000 Yeah. 0.90

00:47:48.000 85, 70, and 55 in the UFC is so goddamn good right now. 0.92

00:47:53.000 So competitive.

00:47:53.000 It's the best it's ever been.

00:47:55.000 Light heavyweight, the worst it's ever been.

00:47:57.000 Heavyweight, land of the dinosaurs.

00:47:59.000 But 55, 70, 85?

00:48:02.000 Pull up that Emil Meek-Kamaru-Usman fight.

00:48:05.000 We should find out if that fight's actually been canceled.

00:48:07.000 It hasn't been canceled.

00:48:08.000 He's trying to get his...

00:48:09.000 Visa?

00:48:09.000 Yeah, he hasn't...

00:48:10.000 Fucking Donald Trump. 1.00

00:48:11.000 Let him in. 1.00

00:48:12.000 I know, man.

00:48:12.000 Let the guy do his thing.

00:48:13.000 Jesus Christ, he's a Viking. 0.66

00:48:14.000 I'm a Meek fan.

00:48:15.000 He's your people.

00:48:16.000 I'm a Meek fan.

00:48:17.000 Yeah, I'm a Meek fan too.

00:48:18.000 Dude, at 70. Good luck at 70. Yeah.

00:48:20.000 Good luck at 70. That's what we were just saying.

00:48:22.000 Kamaru Usman is fucking terrifying and no one's even talking about him because there's so many killers in that. 0.99

00:48:28.000 Here we go. 0.99

00:48:29.000 Emil Meek explains status of 219 fight with Kamaru Usman.

00:48:32.000 Visa issues.

00:48:34.000 So he's just hoping.

00:48:35.000 So hoping they could sort it out.

00:48:36.000 That must be tough going through training camp.

00:48:38.000 Either a 10-day thing or it takes six months or anything in between.

00:48:41.000 That's all.

00:48:41.000 The UFC office just told me to have patience.

00:48:43.000 The question's not about if I'm going to get it or not.

00:48:45.000 It's just when I get it and if I can get it in time.

00:48:48.000 I hope it can, you know? 0.98

00:48:52.000 I mean, I feel like you should have some fucking power. 0.99

00:48:55.000 That's what I'm saying. 0.99

00:48:56.000 Can we make some calls? 0.99

00:48:57.000 Get my boy Meek into the goddamn states? 0.99

00:49:00.000 Unrelated, but also news. 0.99

00:49:01.000 What is this?

00:49:02.000 We have tried to get this...

00:49:03.000 Shane Carwin retired.

00:49:04.000 Oh, wow.

00:49:05.000 It seems like there are no interesting fights and I'm not getting younger.

00:49:08.000 Let me explain.

00:49:10.000 Let me just lay my gloves down right here.

00:49:11.000 Oh, you did it on Reddit.

00:49:13.000 Mm-hmm.

00:49:13.000 Wow.

00:49:14.000 An hour ago.

00:49:14.000 Wait, why is he done though?

00:49:15.000 Thank you to each and every one of you.

00:49:17.000 It's odd to be healthy and unable to compete, yet able to compete when so unhealthy.

00:49:24.000 I guess we end...

00:49:27.000 I don't know what that means.

00:49:28.000 I think he made a mistake there.

00:49:29.000 With never...

00:49:30.000 Oh, I guess we end with never knowing what could have been.

00:49:34.000 Sombra would be the best way to describe the emotion...

00:49:38.000 Thank you all for the love, the insults, and the great times.

00:49:41.000 I will sink back into the mode of being a Redditor and my quest to become a mod here.

00:49:48.000 Are you serious?

00:49:49.000 He's sort of making a little joke there.

00:49:51.000 I'm also on the hunt for a large fedora.

00:49:54.000 I'm like an eight and a half in hats. 1.00

00:49:56.000 Eight and a half my ass, Shane. 0.99

00:49:59.000 Seriously, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being amazing and for making this sport amazing. 0.99

00:50:04.000 I thought he was retired.

00:50:05.000 And then I thought he was coming back out to try and fight.

00:50:07.000 Did Beltor just tell him no or something?

00:50:09.000 No, I thought he was in that rant.

00:50:10.000 Yeah, I think he just put his name in the hat.

00:50:12.000 He just called out Mitrione.

00:50:13.000 He literally, like, two days ago, he just said he wanted to fight as an alternate.

00:50:16.000 Well, here's what's weird.

00:50:17.000 It says, it's odd to be healthy and unable to compete, yet able to compete when so unhealthy.

00:50:23.000 I mean, it's odd that he's healthy now and he can't get a fight.

00:50:26.000 That means the commissioner, maybe someone told him he can't fight?

00:50:29.000 Or maybe Bellator was like, nah, we're good, son.

00:50:31.000 Well, I would never say he couldn't fight in terms of the punishment he's taken.

00:50:36.000 I mean, it was like the Junior Dos Santos fight was tough to watch.

00:50:38.000 That was a tough one.

00:50:39.000 That was a tough one to watch.

00:50:40.000 He's had some tough fights, but I mean, a lot of guys have.

00:50:43.000 If you're going to let Obrey fight, how could you not let Shane Carwin fight unless it's like the spinal surgery stuff?

00:50:49.000 Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on in that, but also he could fight in Ryzen.

00:50:54.000 I would imagine that they would take him, but you know that they had an issue with him where he was getting divorced and he had some personal issues, apparently they were saying, and he had to pull out of their tournament.

00:51:06.000 Remember?

00:51:06.000 Yeah.

00:51:07.000 He had that fight come up with that giant...

00:51:08.000 And they were very upset.

00:51:09.000 They were very upset at him.

00:51:10.000 Oh, that he backed out? 0.99

00:51:11.000 Yeah, and they said some things about him not having warrior spirit or some crazy shit like that. 0.99

00:51:17.000 For sure, relax, rise, and shit happens. 0.98

00:51:18.000 Yeah, I mean, not only that, you don't even have so many fucking heavyweights. 0.98

00:51:22.000 Yeah, you're also rising, so let's relax and have Shane Carwin back, though. 0.95

00:51:25.000 Have Shane Carwin over there and let him go crazy.

00:51:28.000 Him, Pro Cop.

00:51:30.000 Wild West.

00:51:34.000 Take that, Golden Snitch. 1.00

00:51:36.000 Yeah, just full-on Mexican supplements.

00:51:38.000 Yeah, let's see what happens.

00:51:39.000 Let the party roll.

00:51:40.000 Let's mix it up.

00:51:41.000 Especially, I mean, Shane's in his 40s, right?

00:51:43.000 How old is Shane?

00:51:44.000 Hell yeah, he's in his 40s.

00:51:46.000 Yeah.

00:51:47.000 Let it roll.

00:51:48.000 Let it roll.

00:51:48.000 Ryzen's the spot.

00:51:49.000 I mean, look, we should have a steroid league.

00:51:52.000 We should have a league where some people are not.

00:51:55.000 Daniel Cormier faces Volkan Ozdemir at UFC 220 in Boston.

00:51:59.000 Ooh.

00:51:59.000 Six minutes ago.

00:52:01.000 Ooh.

00:52:02.000 Wow.

00:52:02.000 Breaking news, folks.

00:52:04.000 Breaking news.

00:52:06.000 Ozdemir's scary, but there's a guy who's got the quickest rise to the top ever.

00:52:09.000 This is my face for that fight.

00:52:11.000 You don't care?

00:52:12.000 I care.

00:52:13.000 I'm lukewarm on it.

00:52:14.000 With Ozdemir?

00:52:14.000 I love DC. I love DC. And I wish he was a bigger star.

00:52:18.000 And he should be a bigger star.

00:52:19.000 But he's going to be phenomenal as a commentator.

00:52:23.000 And I think he flies through Ozdemir.

00:52:26.000 Do you really?

00:52:27.000 Yes, easily.

00:52:28.000 I think Ozdemir is dangerous for anybody, man.

00:52:30.000 Anybody.

00:52:30.000 Good luck dealing with DC when he gets you in that clinch.

00:52:33.000 It's true.

00:52:34.000 It's true.

00:52:35.000 DC's the best light heavyweight of all time, not named Jon Jones.

00:52:39.000 Whoa.

00:52:41.000 Strong words.

00:52:42.000 Who's better?

00:52:43.000 Nobody.

00:52:44.000 He was the heavyweight champion.

00:52:46.000 Especially after he beat Rumble.

00:52:47.000 Twice.

00:52:47.000 He beat Rumble twice.

00:52:48.000 Beat Gustafsson.

00:52:50.000 He was the heavyweight champion.

00:52:50.000 Won a Strikeforce Grand Prix.

00:52:52.000 Think about the people in that Grand Prix.

00:52:54.000 Yeah.

00:52:54.000 Remember what we did to Josh Barnett?

00:52:56.000 Oh yeah.

00:52:56.000 We did Josh Barnett had a broken hand, but...

00:52:57.000 Threw him up in the air.

00:52:58.000 Remember we did the poor Dan Henderson?

00:53:00.000 By the way, DC, how dare you treat our legend like that? 1.00

00:53:04.000 How dare you take an old-weather Dan Henderson and spike him on his head, you son of a bitch? 1.00

00:53:10.000 He ragdolled him. 1.00

00:53:10.000 I mean, he ragdolled him. 1.00

00:53:11.000 I love DC, man.

00:53:12.000 I like that fight for DC. I'm an Ozdemir fan.

00:53:15.000 I think he'd be hilarious if he was champ because he had 700 Twitter followers, but I think that DC is going to mop the floor with him.

00:53:22.000 Interesting.

00:53:22.000 Unless it's a bar in Florida, then it's a different story.

00:53:25.000 I'm just interested in seeing what happens if he gets hit.

00:53:29.000 Because Ozdemir is very fast and hits very hard and has a shocking reaction.

00:53:34.000 Dude, DC's been hit hard.

00:53:36.000 Oh, for sure.

00:53:37.000 Rumble rocked him.

00:53:38.000 Rocked him.

00:53:39.000 Hit him with that overhand right in the first fight and head kicked him in the second fight. 0.97

00:53:42.000 Yeah, remember you sat him down.

00:53:44.000 DC popped up.

00:53:45.000 Yeah.

00:53:45.000 No, DC's a monster.

00:53:46.000 No doubt.

00:53:47.000 I'm just interested because I think Ozdemir really does have special power.

00:53:51.000 You see him hit people, you're like, Jesus.

00:53:54.000 And according to everybody that watched him and Rumble train, he was the guy that trained with Rumble all the time.

00:53:59.000 He was one of the few guys that wanted to spar with Rumble.

00:54:01.000 And what did they say about it?

00:54:02.000 They said they went to war.

00:54:03.000 Really?

00:54:04.000 Yeah.

00:54:04.000 I would watch that.

00:54:05.000 I would watch that.

00:54:06.000 Dude, how about this?

00:54:07.000 They said that's one of the reasons why Ozdemir's so good.

00:54:09.000 Because Ozdemir was trained with Rumble.

00:54:11.000 He was like, Everybody's scared of Rumble.

00:54:12.000 I would not be scared of Rumble.

00:54:14.000 How did they not just knock each other out every day?

00:54:16.000 I think they're smart.

00:54:16.000 They hit each other just hard enough to let each other know they're hitting each other.

00:54:20.000 And look, you want a valuable sparring partner.

00:54:22.000 Don't break your toys.

00:54:24.000 Yeah.

00:54:24.000 Look, it's benefiting the both of them, obviously.

00:54:27.000 Dude, here's one for you.

00:54:28.000 How about Rumble once come back at heavyweight?

00:54:30.000 Rumble Stipe for the curveball.

00:54:33.000 Here's the thing.

00:54:34.000 You can't really do that because he just fought as a light heavyweight and then quit.

00:54:38.000 And said, I don't want to do this anymore.

00:54:40.000 Yeah, but he's back.

00:54:40.000 And he comes back and fights at a heavyweight.

00:54:41.000 Yeah, he's back, bro.

00:54:44.000 He said he doesn't like fighting.

00:54:45.000 He doesn't like wrestling sweaty men.

00:54:49.000 That's a bit of an issue.

00:54:49.000 What do you say?

00:54:50.000 I don't like fighting.

00:54:51.000 But I'm back.

00:54:51.000 I mean, what happened was, like, first of all...

00:54:53.000 That retirement life ain't fun, is it?

00:54:54.000 It's not.

00:54:55.000 It's boring, right?

00:54:56.000 Nah, it depends who you are.

00:54:57.000 Mike's great.

00:54:57.000 And he knows he can be champion, too.

00:54:58.000 Like, he really does have championship skills.

00:55:01.000 Now he does, for sure.

00:55:03.000 He unquestionably has enough power to knock out any human being on the planet.

00:55:06.000 If DC and Jon Jones are out, yeah, he's the guy.

00:55:10.000 If DC got hit with that uppercut that Glover got hit with, he goes night-night too.

00:55:14.000 So would Jon Jones.

00:55:15.000 But those guys are too smart for that.

00:55:17.000 They don't fight that style.

00:55:18.000 Well, they didn't, yeah.

00:55:20.000 Glover was too easy to hit for him.

00:55:21.000 But I think he realizes that anybody in the world, I mean, he literally, he might as have a 100% chance to beat anybody in the world.

00:55:28.000 At heavyweight though?

00:55:29.000 No, no, no.

00:55:30.000 Not a 100% chance to beat anybody in the world.

00:55:32.000 But I'm saying, he might have like a 60% chance. 1.00

00:55:36.000 Like in any fight with anybody, he could connect with a bomb and put your fucking lights out. 1.00

00:55:40.000 He's that powerful. 0.99

00:55:41.000 So that alone in his head means if he fought Jon Jones 60% of the time, he might be able to catch Jon Jones.

00:55:49.000 It might be. 0.98

00:55:50.000 If he caught Jon Jones or anybody, he hits so fucking hard. 0.79

00:55:54.000 But he definitely froze up against DC in the second fight. 0.95

00:55:58.000 He did not look like a guy who was there to do or die.

00:56:01.000 Did he hit that pad that they keep jacking off to?

00:56:04.000 Did he hit the pad?

00:56:04.000 I would like to see that.

00:56:05.000 I'd like to see that.

00:56:06.000 You think he hits harder than Ngannou?

00:56:09.000 Ngannou's a lot bigger than him, man.

00:56:11.000 Yeah, but Anthony Johnson is more explosive.

00:56:14.000 Especially, you put Anthony Johnson on that healthy diet, and he's the 240 Anthony Johnson?

00:56:21.000 Yeah.

00:56:21.000 He's gonna hit like a Mack truck.

00:56:23.000 Very interesting to see him in heavyweight. 0.93

00:56:25.000 Dude, Francis Rumble Johnson, black on black power! 1.00

00:56:28.000 No! 1.00

00:56:29.000 Kaepernick would show up for that bitch. 1.00

00:56:31.000 It would be ridiculous. 1.00

00:56:31.000 Rumble's gotta have a fight in heavyweight. 1.00

00:56:35.000 Nah, it's just awesome.

00:56:36.000 Oh my god.

00:56:37.000 He's ready to go.

00:56:37.000 No, no, no, no, no.

00:56:39.000 No, you get him that Russian dude that likes to choke people. 1.00

00:56:42.000 No! 0.95

00:56:44.000 Who lets people in the mouth and he chokes them out?

00:56:46.000 No, he's a heavyweight.

00:56:47.000 I'm right.

00:56:49.000 Yeah, you beat Brown.

00:56:50.000 Give him that poor soul. 1.00

00:56:53.000 The Russian has no idea I'd fight black men and just fucking get starged. 1.00

00:56:59.000 Yeah, that would be interesting. 1.00

00:57:00.000 That's an interesting fight.

00:57:01.000 Let's see what happens.

00:57:03.000 I want to see what happens.

00:57:04.000 Give him that guy. 1.00

00:57:05.000 Give him that guy. 1.00

00:57:08.000 Give him somebody who's, you know...

00:57:10.000 He's gonna encourage his mouth so he can get a choke.

00:57:12.000 The guy's gonna come after him.

00:57:14.000 The guy's gonna come after him.

00:57:16.000 Alexi Olenek.

00:57:16.000 Yes, powerful Alexi.

00:57:18.000 Yeah.

00:57:20.000 Deep in his 40s.

00:57:23.000 Same hairline as Brian Callens.

00:57:24.000 Dude, 50 to an 11. He's been through the fucking works. 0.99

00:57:28.000 The ringer. 1.00

00:57:30.000 You think he gives a fuck about how hard Rumble hits? 0.99

00:57:33.000 No, he'll take that fight. 1.00

00:57:35.000 You know, like a dick fight. 0.98

00:57:36.000 All day. 0.95

00:57:37.000 The boa constrictor. 0.98

00:57:38.000 Fucking right, the boa. 0.98

00:57:40.000 Yeah, that would be a fun fight. 0.99

00:57:41.000 He might be my hip.

00:57:42.000 For heavyweight, man. 0.99

00:57:43.000 Who the fuck knows? 0.99

00:57:44.000 What if he gets Rumble down? 0.99

00:57:46.000 What if he gets Rumble down?

00:57:47.000 We see him in sidemount working on a rear naked choke from the side. 1.00

00:57:51.000 Yeah, Rumble's in trouble, that motherfucker. 1.00

00:57:52.000 Oh, he gets a hold of your neck? 1.00

00:57:54.000 Rumble's in trouble if you get mount on him, man. 0.98

00:57:56.000 That guy's a monster. 0.91

00:57:58.000 He's a monster from the bottom, isn't he? 1.00

00:57:59.000 I'm sure. 0.99

00:58:00.000 He choked that dude out from his back.

00:58:02.000 Yeah, it's great.

00:58:02.000 Mounted.

00:58:03.000 He gave it to him.

00:58:04.000 Crazy!

00:58:04.000 Crazy.

00:58:05.000 Yeah, he's a squeezer. 0.99

00:58:06.000 There's certain dudes who just can squeeze your neck in a way out.

00:58:09.000 Yeah, Rumble in the first round might be the most dangerous man in the world.

00:58:12.000 Yeah.

00:58:13.000 I wonder, maybe, look, I mean, I don't know how much weight he was cutting to make 205, but if he's really walking around at 230, 235, and that doesn't have to cut anything, he might be better at heavyweight.

00:58:24.000 That's what I'm saying.

00:58:24.000 Let's give him on that punch meter.

00:58:27.000 What you got, Francis?

00:58:28.000 Just give him a good fight, a Verdum.

00:58:33.000 Dude, Verdum would kill your dreams, man. 1.00

00:58:37.000 Verdum's a motherfucker. 1.00

00:58:38.000 Verdum's a motherfucker. 1.00

00:58:40.000 He is, man. 1.00

00:58:40.000 He can strike. 1.00

00:58:41.000 Best on the world on the ground.

00:58:43.000 He's huge. 0.98

00:58:44.000 He doesn't give a fuck about the going snitch because he's never been caught. 0.99

00:58:48.000 Doesn't take anything. 0.99

00:58:49.000 You get some issues, Verdum comes hunting for you.

00:58:51.000 And that jiu-jitsu's just on another planet.

00:58:53.000 Dude, how about...

00:58:56.000 What fight was that that backed out?

00:58:58.000 Oh, the Black Beast.

00:58:59.000 Remember I was supposed to fight Derrick Lewis.

00:59:00.000 Yeah, Derrick Lewis.

00:59:01.000 Huge Derrick Lewis fan.

00:59:02.000 We're talking about Derrick Lewis social media.

00:59:03.000 Is that the best?

00:59:04.000 Might be the best.

00:59:05.000 For a fighter, it might be the best.

00:59:07.000 For a fighter, it might be the best.

00:59:08.000 He's hilarious.

00:59:08.000 Hilarious.

00:59:10.000 Hilarious.

00:59:10.000 Shout out to Derrick Lewis.

00:59:11.000 Shout out to the Black Beast. 1.00

00:59:13.000 You're hilarious. 1.00

00:59:13.000 He puts up some hilarious shit on Instagram. 1.00

00:59:15.000 I want him to fight soon. 0.98

00:59:16.000 But remember, Derrick Lewis was supposed to fight for Doom in the hours before the fight.

00:59:20.000 That guy can't do it.

00:59:21.000 So they just filled in random homeboy.

00:59:23.000 Yeah.

00:59:23.000 And he was just happy to be there.

00:59:25.000 Walt Harris.

00:59:26.000 Yeah, Walt Harris.

00:59:26.000 Just had no business in there.

00:59:27.000 Fucking Verdum went, what? 0.99

00:59:30.000 Yeah. 1.00

00:59:31.000 Just fucking... 1.00

00:59:32.000 It was a beautiful transition when he took his back and then took the arm off the back. 1.00

00:59:35.000 It was like he was teaching his students in Venice about the arm.

00:59:38.000 I show you how. 0.99

00:59:38.000 It was fucking easy. 0.99

00:59:39.000 I show you how. 0.99

00:59:40.000 It was so easy for him.

00:59:42.000 There's a payday.

00:59:43.000 Then fights that rush and goes five rounds.

00:59:46.000 Yeah.

00:59:46.000 That's why he won't be ready to fight Stipe in Boston.

00:59:50.000 I wonder if he would.

00:59:52.000 He might be okay.

00:59:53.000 Would he?

00:59:53.000 Yes.

00:59:54.000 Five rounds?

00:59:55.000 I don't know.

00:59:56.000 See, Tabor caught him a few times, but it never got rocked.

01:00:01.000 Tabor was outclassed.

01:00:02.000 Yeah.

01:00:02.000 He's just not at that level yet.

01:00:03.000 He never got hurt.

01:00:04.000 No.

01:00:05.000 And, you know, Verdum won if he didn't get injured.

01:00:09.000 Boston is January.

01:00:13.000 Who knows?

01:00:14.000 Talk to him in a couple weeks.

01:00:15.000 How you feeling, bro?

01:00:17.000 Especially for a title shot.

01:00:18.000 Yeah.

01:00:18.000 How you feeling, bro?

01:00:19.000 The Doom's probably down.

01:00:20.000 Who knows?

01:00:20.000 Hey, you want to fight Steve Bain for the title, or you want to wait for this monster, Francis, that we're not sure about?

01:00:25.000 Yeah, it all depends on how much damage he took in that fight.

01:00:27.000 He did get leg kicked a few times.

01:00:29.000 You know if Doom's down, though, man.

01:00:30.000 Yeah, you know he is.

01:00:31.000 But did he get hurt? 0.93

01:00:32.000 Like, is there anything fucked up in his wrist? 0.74

01:00:34.000 Is his elbow okay? 0.92

01:00:35.000 You know? 0.99

01:00:36.000 Little shit that happens in a fight that nobody even knows about. 1.00

01:00:38.000 The training camps. 1.00

01:00:39.000 Yeah.

01:00:40.000 And during a fight as well, right?

01:00:42.000 So what else is going on this weekend?

01:00:44.000 There's those fights.

01:00:45.000 There's Holloway-Edgar, which is very interesting.

01:00:48.000 There's Gagey versus Eddie Alvarez.

01:00:51.000 That's the one that I'm most excited to see.

01:00:53.000 Cejudo-Pettis.

01:00:54.000 Cejudo-Pettis.

01:00:55.000 That's the one I wanted to talk about.

01:00:57.000 That's another one.

01:00:58.000 Paul Felder and Charles Oliveira for the FS1 prelims.

01:01:02.000 That's another very interesting one.

01:01:04.000 Because Oliveira just got done.

01:01:07.000 He was fighting at 45, two-drained at 45, and just choked out Will Brooks.

01:01:11.000 Remember that?

01:01:12.000 Yes.

01:01:12.000 Will Brooks having a tough time in the UFC now.

01:01:15.000 Tough time in the UFC. I thought he was going to do really well, too, with his fighting style.

01:01:17.000 Nick Lentz caught him.

01:01:18.000 Nick Lentz caught him in a guillotine.

01:01:19.000 He's had a tough go over in the UFC. Yeah.

01:01:21.000 Look, man, this is the highest level of the game for sure.

01:01:25.000 It's weird because Brooks is having a tough time in the UFC and a lot of the UFC guys are having a tough time in Bellator.

01:01:29.000 Different divisions.

01:01:30.000 I think 70 is probably the strongest over there in Bellator.

01:01:34.000 70 right now, especially with Roy McDonald there, I think is as strong as it gets.

01:01:38.000 I think you got Douglas Lima, you got Rory McDonald, you got Lorenz Larkin, you got Michael Venom Page, you got Paul Daly, who just knocked out Lorenz Larkin. 0.99

01:01:49.000 You got a gang of fucking assassins. 0.98

01:01:52.000 Paul's the most limited because of his ground game. 1.00

01:01:54.000 When a guy like Rory gets you down, he showed how to beat Paul.

01:02:00.000 But if you stand with Paul, he's got a chance against anybody in the world.

01:02:05.000 You know they're doing Daly vs.

01:02:06.000 Michael Venom Page.

01:02:07.000 Ooh.

01:02:08.000 They hate each other.

01:02:10.000 They are gonna do that?

01:02:11.000 Yeah.

01:02:12.000 That's a great fight.

01:02:13.000 That's a crazy fight.

01:02:14.000 Great fight.

01:02:14.000 And you know Roy McDonald wants to be an alternate in the heavyweight tournament.

01:02:17.000 Yeah, he's out of his fucking mind. 1.00

01:02:18.000 It's crazy. 1.00

01:02:19.000 Think about him versus, you know, fucking Mitrione or something like that. 1.00

01:02:21.000 He's out of his fucking mind. 1.00

01:02:22.000 Yeah, those guys are huge. 1.00

01:02:23.000 They're huge.

01:02:24.000 He's more technical alone, but at a certain point it doesn't matter.

01:02:27.000 How much does he weigh?

01:02:28.000 Roy's maybe 190?

01:02:31.000 95?

01:02:32.000 Maybe? 1.00

01:02:32.000 If he eats a lot of fucking Krispy Kreme? 1.00

01:02:33.000 Yeah, yeah. 1.00

01:02:34.000 It's just a bad idea.

01:02:36.000 Roy's so gangster though.

01:02:37.000 Yeah, he is. 0.90

01:02:38.000 But there's some gorillas in that division.

01:02:40.000 Well, think if they let Shane in.

01:02:41.000 Think about Shane versus Jail Sonnen.

01:02:43.000 Who's going to sanction that fight? 0.93

01:02:44.000 Yeah.

01:02:45.000 Well, he's fighting Rampage.

01:02:46.000 He's fighting Rampage.

01:02:47.000 That seems kind of crazy too.

01:02:49.000 Does it?

01:02:50.000 That makes more sense to me.

01:02:51.000 At least Rampage fought at light heavyweight.

01:02:52.000 That's true.

01:02:55.000 But, you know, I don't know.

01:02:56.000 I don't know why they made Matt and Roy on the first round.

01:03:01.000 I would have put them on opposite sides of the round.

01:03:03.000 Because we've seen that in UFC. I would have put them on opposite sides.

01:03:05.000 Well, I think they wanted that fight to happen.

01:03:07.000 They wanted that rematch to happen.

01:03:10.000 You know, and I think Mitrione, right?

01:03:12.000 If I was in the Fedor camp, who's Fedor fighting first?

01:03:17.000 Frank Mir.

01:03:18.000 That's a dangerous fight.

01:03:19.000 Hell yeah, it's a dangerous fight.

01:03:21.000 Dangerous fight, son.

01:03:22.000 That's a dangerous fight.

01:03:24.000 Then you got King Moe, Ryan Bader.

01:03:26.000 Especially under non-snitch-like testing.

01:03:31.000 Well, that whole tournament.

01:03:33.000 Yeah, it's non-snitch-like.

01:03:35.000 Oh, hold up, son.

01:03:37.000 Well, okay, so you got Quentin Rampage Jackson, Chael Sonnen.

01:03:40.000 That's at the Forum.

01:03:41.000 So that's the California Commission. 1.00

01:03:43.000 They're strict as fuck. 0.99

01:03:44.000 But the Mohegan Sun Arena, Mitrione Roy Nelson, suspect. 0.99

01:03:49.000 And then Allstate Arena.

01:03:52.000 What city is that in?

01:03:54.000 Where's Allstate?

01:03:55.000 But if I was Fedor, I'd only want to do it in the middle of the Indian Reservation.

01:04:00.000 Yeah, we're doing it.

01:04:01.000 I want to be as far from the outskirts as possible.

01:04:04.000 Yeah, we fight an inclusive casino.

01:04:05.000 Yeah, we're going to move the arena to the virtual center.

01:04:09.000 Yeah.

01:04:09.000 But juiced up Frank versus juiced up Fedor, that's a dream match.

01:04:14.000 Where's that Allstate Arena?

01:04:15.000 Chicago.

01:04:16.000 They got a good athletic commission. 1.00

01:04:19.000 Might be fucked. 0.99

01:04:21.000 They got to get those doctors that they brought in for that Icarus movie. 1.00

01:04:24.000 Out of all the goddamn fights, how does... 0.98

01:04:27.000 Mitrio and Roy, the two guys who have never tested hot, end up in Mohegan Sun. 0.99

01:04:30.000 Maybe because they knew they didn't have to worry about them testing.

01:04:32.000 Yeah, I know, but you put Fedor and Frank in Mohegan. 0.97

01:04:35.000 But they don't want them to be able to go fucking hardcore. 0.69

01:04:39.000 All right, then you don't want to have fun. 0.97

01:04:40.000 That's fine.

01:04:41.000 All right, Scott, do your thing, man.

01:04:43.000 Do your thing, Scott.

01:04:44.000 You know I love you.

01:04:45.000 Do your thing, man.

01:04:46.000 I would have had that in Calusa Casino.

01:04:48.000 Juice to the gills.

01:04:49.000 Old day.

01:04:49.000 Pride days.

01:04:50.000 Old days.

01:04:50.000 And how's Bobby Lashley on that tournament?

01:04:52.000 That's a good point.

01:04:53.000 I get why Chet Conga's not in it.

01:04:54.000 A little boring.

01:04:55.000 Bobby Lashley is the one that goes, yeah, it's just, um...

01:04:58.000 We just can't.

01:04:59.000 Bobby, come on.

01:05:01.000 Bobby, just come on.

01:05:03.000 Nobody thinks you're clean.

01:05:05.000 Nobody.

01:05:05.000 Dude, he's never failed a test.

01:05:07.000 Your own mom would be mama. 1.00

01:05:09.000 Dude, what do you think?

01:05:10.000 Am I clean?

01:05:11.000 Boy, you know you ain't clean.

01:05:14.000 Dude, I would watch Bobby Fedor.

01:05:16.000 Bobby, Roy Nelson would be sick.

01:05:19.000 Look at his side of that, dude.

01:05:20.000 I know.

01:05:21.000 I know he's got great genetics.

01:05:23.000 I know he works hard. 1.00

01:05:24.000 He's skilled as a motherfucker, too. 1.00

01:05:25.000 He's skilled as a motherfucker. 1.00

01:05:26.000 Bobby Lashley is a grappling beast. 0.99

01:05:29.000 One of the best wrestlers I've ever seen.

01:05:30.000 But!

01:05:32.000 That is the body of a man who's been to the Mexican pharmacy.

01:05:36.000 How dare you.

01:05:37.000 Or had someone go for him.

01:05:39.000 How dare you.

01:05:40.000 Or bought it from a dude who went, he got it at the gym.

01:05:42.000 I mean, that's just steroids.

01:05:44.000 But he's never failed?

01:05:45.000 Oh my god, he's jack city. 1.00

01:05:46.000 Just get the fuck out of here, man. 1.00

01:05:48.000 That looks like those guys from Prometheus. 0.99

01:05:52.000 Those dudes from Prometheus that had those ridiculous bodies that brought the DNA to Earth to make new people. 0.95

01:05:57.000 Those giant dudes. 0.55

01:05:58.000 Pull up one of those dudes from Prometheus and put it right beside him.

01:06:01.000 I love that movie, by the way.

01:06:02.000 I love that movie.

01:06:03.000 Put him right beside him, the Prometheus jacked dude.

01:06:06.000 Or he looks like the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

01:06:08.000 They're jacked, bro.

01:06:10.000 In that image, he literally had the body of one of those Prometheus guys.

01:06:13.000 Like right there, with his shirt off by the ocean.

01:06:15.000 Bang.

01:06:16.000 Make that larger.

01:06:17.000 Oh, yeah.

01:06:18.000 Look at him.

01:06:19.000 He does.

01:06:19.000 He looks identical.

01:06:20.000 He looks exactly like that.

01:06:21.000 He looks bigger!

01:06:23.000 He's bigger than that guy.

01:06:24.000 He's thicker, for sure. 0.98

01:06:25.000 He's more jacked. 0.90

01:06:26.000 Let's go.

01:06:26.000 Come on, son.

01:06:28.000 Jesus Christ, look at the size of him.

01:06:29.000 Come on, he's bigger.

01:06:30.000 He's bigger.

01:06:31.000 I would say Bobby Lashley steamrolls that dude from Pro Meets.

01:06:34.000 Those guys are huge, though, bro.

01:06:37.000 Steamrolls him.

01:06:37.000 But look at the difference.

01:06:39.000 If he's the same size as that guy, go one more Bobby Lashley. 0.99

01:06:42.000 Fucked. 0.99

01:06:44.000 But that's a real human. 1.00

01:06:46.000 But can you bring up Bobby Lashley college pick?

01:06:48.000 He's always been jacked.

01:06:50.000 Oh, I believe it. 1.00

01:06:51.000 I mean, he's definitely got phenomenal genetics, but the idea that there ain't nothing going on but the rent You're out of your fucking mind. 1.00

01:06:58.000 You're out of your fucking mind. 1.00

01:07:00.000 You're out of your fucking mind. 1.00

01:07:02.000 Yeah, I don't know, man. 1.00

01:07:03.000 You talked to Jimmy Smith about where they have him fight.

01:07:06.000 Yeah, no, I know where they have him fight.

01:07:08.000 Yeah.

01:07:08.000 I just give the guy a break, man.

01:07:09.000 I'm giving the guy a break.

01:07:10.000 I think he's awesome.

01:07:11.000 But I think there's a reality to Pride that made it exciting and made it fun.

01:07:16.000 Correct.

01:07:16.000 You know, and I would like to see one of those things today, whether it's Ryzen or...

01:07:21.000 Look at the size of that, dude.

01:07:22.000 I mean, again, phenomenal genetics.

01:07:24.000 Maybe he really is taking gamma labs.

01:07:31.000 But part of me, I want to go back to the old Arsenio Hall days.

01:07:35.000 Things that make you go, hmm.

01:07:39.000 Look at the size of them up there with the elbow straps above that.

01:07:43.000 That's the WWE's elbow. 1.00

01:07:45.000 The left.

01:07:45.000 I don't care.

01:07:46.000 Go large on that picture.

01:07:49.000 Who's more Jack?

01:07:50.000 Tim or Bob Sapp?

01:07:51.000 Oh my god.

01:07:52.000 Bob Sapp.

01:07:53.000 In his prime.

01:07:54.000 Bob Sapp in his prime was not even a human being.

01:07:57.000 He was a science project.

01:07:58.000 A full-on science project.

01:08:00.000 He was Bane.

01:08:01.000 Bob Sapp versus Noguera.

01:08:03.000 Look at the size of Bobby and Ashley.

01:08:05.000 Go to Bob Sapp vs.

01:08:06.000 Noguera. 0.99

01:08:07.000 There's a time where, at the beginning of the fight, Noguera is standing there ready to fight and Bob Sapp is standing there.

01:08:12.000 And Bob Sapp's gloves look like miniature gloves because his body is this wide.

01:08:17.000 He's like moving towards him.

01:08:19.000 My only thing with Bobby Lashley is I've seen guys in the NFL who aren't hot that look like him.

01:08:24.000 Oh yeah, it's possible.

01:08:25.000 It's totally possible.

01:08:26.000 Bobby Lashley is also 40. Right?

01:08:30.000 Isn't he?

01:08:30.000 Yeah.

01:08:31.000 Oh, yeah.

01:08:31.000 Wrestable in the middle.

01:08:32.000 Oh, my God.

01:08:33.000 Just let it happen for the first round.

01:08:34.000 Like, watch what comes out. 1.00

01:08:35.000 Look at the fucking size of him. 1.00

01:08:38.000 The spike. 1.00

01:08:39.000 And broke his neck.

01:08:41.000 Yeah.

01:08:43.000 He was so big.

01:08:44.000 He was at one point in time, I think he was 300 plus pounds.

01:08:47.000 I thought he was 400. Oh, I don't know about that.

01:08:49.000 Was he?

01:08:50.000 He was 300 plus pounds with abs.

01:08:52.000 Like 350 or 375 with abs.

01:08:54.000 Oh my god.

01:08:55.000 They don't teach that at any gym in the world.

01:08:59.000 Goosh! 1.00

01:08:59.000 That's so bad for your neck. 1.00

01:09:01.000 Oh, dude, Noguera almost had to retire because of that.

01:09:03.000 Really?

01:09:04.000 Yeah.

01:09:04.000 It was the worst injury he's ever sustained.

01:09:06.000 So what happened to his neck?

01:09:08.000 Bulging discs, he had to have surgery.

01:09:10.000 That's one of the things that really fucked Noguera up. 1.00

01:09:13.000 It's amazing that he still fought and won.

01:09:15.000 And won.

01:09:17.000 Amazing.

01:09:17.000 God, no Garrett, man.

01:09:18.000 One of the fucking greats. 1.00

01:09:20.000 Savage. 1.00

01:09:20.000 One of the greats, man. 1.00

01:09:21.000 He almost got taken out because of a fucking head spike. 0.99

01:09:24.000 You know, Fadar was not willing to fight him. 1.00

01:09:26.000 Fadar was like, no thanks. 0.95

01:09:28.000 Like, you were allowed to throw those crazy kicks from when you were on your back then. 0.83

01:09:32.000 You could kick to the face.

01:09:34.000 I forgot he got reversed. 0.99

01:09:35.000 Remember that?

01:09:36.000 Think of that monster on top of you.

01:09:38.000 Jesus Christ.

01:09:39.000 Think how much of a badass Nogaris goes, you know what? 1.00

01:09:41.000 I'll fight freaking Bob Sapp even though he's juiced to the gills.

01:09:45.000 Look at this. 0.95

01:09:45.000 Bob Sapp's on top of him. 0.95

01:09:46.000 He has his back. 0.54

01:09:47.000 He's punched him in the head. 0.97

01:09:47.000 And hit him rocking him. 0.97

01:09:49.000 Smashing him.

01:09:51.000 Smash City.

01:09:52.000 Yeah, crazy.

01:09:54.000 Struggle City for a big knock right there.

01:09:56.000 Oh my god.

01:09:57.000 You forget about this fight.

01:09:58.000 You forget how big of a...

01:09:59.000 Oh my god, look at that.

01:10:01.000 That's a grizzly bear.

01:10:04.000 Jesus Christ.

01:10:06.000 But if you hit him, when you hit the bully in the face, they go away. 0.70

01:10:09.000 Look at this.

01:10:10.000 Remember, he almost had him in a triangle and he got slammed.

01:10:13.000 Yeah, it's a bad idea to do that.

01:10:16.000 Yeah, the triangle slam.

01:10:18.000 The Ricardo Arona Rampage Jackson Triangle Slam should be shown to every kid who wants to hold on to a triangle.

01:10:24.000 Ever.

01:10:25.000 You need to watch this, because this is real.

01:10:27.000 Dude, Bob Zapp beat some of the best ever, bro.

01:10:30.000 He went to leg locks and everything.

01:10:31.000 Look at this.

01:10:32.000 I forgot he went to leg locks.

01:10:33.000 They fought some of the best ever, not beat.

01:10:36.000 This was a nutty fight.

01:10:38.000 And again, this was a fight that Fedor wouldn't take.

01:10:41.000 Fedor was like, no, no, no.

01:10:43.000 I'm from Russia.

01:10:43.000 I understand what he's taking.

01:10:45.000 Yeah, even when they want Noguer to do the rematch, he's like, dude, it was spiking with my neck, man.

01:10:51.000 It's too much.

01:10:52.000 It was the end of my life.

01:10:54.000 My career.

01:10:55.000 Look at him.

01:10:56.000 Yeah, he was battered.

01:10:57.000 Dude, but how entertaining is this?

01:11:00.000 Amazing.

01:11:00.000 Well, it's amazing, but now knowing, I love this, when he hit him with the Gramby roll, whoop, whoop, on your back, son.

01:11:08.000 On your back, son, get your big ass down. 0.99

01:11:10.000 When he won, I remember watching it, we were going crazy. 0.99

01:11:13.000 Look at this armbar. 0.99

01:11:14.000 Me and Eddie were fucking screaming. 1.00

01:11:15.000 Look at this fucking armbar. 1.00

01:11:16.000 Beautiful. 1.00

01:11:19.000 And then when he straightens it out and bob taps, it's like, no fucking way. 0.95

01:11:24.000 But this is not just jujitsu. 0.96

01:11:26.000 This is, look at that.

01:11:27.000 Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap.

01:11:28.000 It's not just jujitsu.

01:11:29.000 With Noguera, it's just toughness. 0.69

01:11:32.000 And just animal spirit.

01:11:34.000 One of the toughest to ever do it.

01:11:35.000 His warrior heart that allowed him to get through getting spiked on his head like that and battered and...

01:11:42.000 Nuts. 0.93

01:11:42.000 This 350 pound juggernaut on top of you, dropping bombs on you. 0.93

01:11:46.000 Legend, man.

01:11:47.000 Mount Rushmore.

01:11:48.000 Mount Rushmore. 1.00

01:11:48.000 Fuck, man. 1.00

01:11:48.000 No gear, Mount Rushmore. 1.00

01:11:50.000 Fuck, man. 1.00

01:11:51.000 What a crazy time those pride days were. 1.00

01:11:55.000 What a great... 1.00

01:11:56.000 What the fuck? 1.00

01:11:57.000 Is that Aki Bono? 1.00

01:11:58.000 Yeah.

01:11:59.000 Do you know Hoist?

01:12:00.000 Hoist beat Aki Bono?

01:12:01.000 With an arm bar. 0.95

01:12:03.000 How badass is Hoist fuckin' Gracie? 1.00

01:12:04.000 Oh my god, look at this dude. 0.94

01:12:06.000 Hoist Gracie fought Aki Bono with pants on. 0.70

01:12:08.000 He fought like with gi pants on. 0.94

01:12:10.000 You're fuckin' right he did. 0.98

01:12:11.000 He got Aki Bono in a fuckin' arm bar. 0.98

01:12:13.000 Look at this. 0.99

01:12:14.000 The size of Aki Bono.

01:12:16.000 Jesus Christ. 1.00

01:12:17.000 Aki Bono said fuck your Keto. 1.00

01:12:19.000 That dude is thick. 1.00

01:12:21.000 This is a Bob Sapp, though, that has started to lose his physique.

01:12:25.000 This is into his career, where he had been fighting.

01:12:29.000 The levels of juice that he was on during those days of glory, like when he fought Noguera, those are just not sustainable.

01:12:38.000 No.

01:12:38.000 He also hated fighting.

01:12:39.000 I have a friend that actually has an ultimate fighter with him, and he used to train with Bob and said towards the end of his career, he would barely train at all.

01:12:47.000 He'd just do it for the payday.

01:12:48.000 He'd just walk in there.

01:12:49.000 Yeah, and he would tap whenever he got hurt.

01:12:51.000 He was smart about it.

01:12:53.000 He knew he could make money.

01:12:54.000 He would go places.

01:12:55.000 They'd want to see people beat Bob Sapp.

01:12:57.000 And so he would go.

01:12:58.000 And he would not take much of a beating. 0.99

01:13:00.000 Dude, in Tokyo, he was on the fucking Wheaties box and stuff. 0.98

01:13:03.000 He used to sell all sorts of merchandise. 1.00

01:13:05.000 You'd buy his used shit-stained undies and stuff. 0.99

01:13:07.000 But do you know what happened? 0.99

01:13:08.000 Do you know the whole story?

01:13:09.000 No.

01:13:10.000 Something happened with K1 where he had a contract that he was supposed to go out and fight, but they hadn't given him the contract yet.

01:13:16.000 He's like, I'm not signing. 0.99

01:13:18.000 I mean, I'm not fighting without a fucking contract. 0.99

01:13:20.000 I need my money. 0.99

01:13:21.000 Legit point.

01:13:22.000 And wound up leaving.

01:13:23.000 There was some sort of a contract dispute and wound up leaving before the main event.

01:13:28.000 Just dipped out.

01:13:29.000 Just dipped out. 1.00

01:13:30.000 Said, fuck this, I'm out. 1.00

01:13:31.000 I'm out fighting. 1.00

01:13:32.000 And, you know, they were like, oh, what?

01:13:34.000 That's the Yakuza, right?

01:13:34.000 They were like, you're done.

01:13:36.000 You're done. 0.99

01:13:37.000 Damn, I didn't know that. 1.00

01:13:38.000 Yeah, yeah. 0.99

01:13:39.000 And, um, I guess, you know, whether or not...

01:13:42.000 I don't know whose story's correct, and all I know is the story that I've read.

01:13:47.000 And the story that I'd read was that, you know, he was upset they hadn't given him the contract yet, and they wanted him to just fight and deal with it later.

01:13:53.000 Yeah.

01:13:53.000 Come on, bro.

01:13:54.000 Listen, if they can get you to do something, it's just...

01:13:56.000 Especially right before you're like, Goddammit, alright, boom.

01:13:59.000 Yeah.

01:14:00.000 Well, when I talk to people that are Japanese about the way they would do business over there, he says, it's really interesting.

01:14:04.000 He's like, one of the things that, like, when the UFC was talking to Pride, it was really interesting because they would have these, like, meetings and they would talk about selling it.

01:14:13.000 You know, but they really didn't want to sell it.

01:14:14.000 They just wanted you to say that you wanted to buy it.

01:14:16.000 They're like, okay, good.

01:14:17.000 See you later.

01:14:18.000 And then they stopped.

01:14:19.000 But then it also pumped up pride.

01:14:21.000 Like everybody in the UFC started talking about Vanderlei was going to fight Chuck and they were bringing him together.

01:14:25.000 But these Japanese businesses, they were playing like super high-level, sophisticated, three-dimensional chess.

01:14:32.000 Kind of a tight move.

01:14:32.000 Very tight move.

01:14:32.000 And then, here's the tightest of tight move.

01:14:34.000 I'm not happy that they did this, but they essentially sold the UFC $60 million worth of nothing. 0.96

01:14:41.000 They got a fucking video library of fights and they got pride to be out of business. 0.98

01:14:46.000 That's what they got. 0.99

01:14:47.000 For 60 whatever million dollars they paid.

01:14:49.000 Because a lot of the contracts were no good.

01:14:52.000 That's why Fedor was never in the UFC. And the Mark Hunt thing, they were willing to pay Mark Hunt out.

01:14:58.000 They were like, we're willing to give you your money. 1.00

01:14:59.000 He said, no, fuck that. 1.00

01:15:00.000 I want to fight. 1.00

01:15:01.000 Yeah, UFC didn't want Mark to fight.

01:15:03.000 I remember when Mark first got the UFC, it wasn't pretty days.

01:15:07.000 He almost got submitted by Chris Tushisher.

01:15:10.000 He had some rough days.

01:15:11.000 He had some rough days.

01:15:12.000 He got submitted by somebody.

01:15:15.000 Like in his first...

01:15:16.000 Sean...

01:15:17.000 Oh, Corkle?

01:15:19.000 Yes, Sean McCorkle.

01:15:20.000 Sean McCorkle.

01:15:21.000 Caught him with a Kimura from his back.

01:15:23.000 His first fight in the UFC. His first fight in the UFC. Submitted him.

01:15:27.000 Huge upset. 0.99

01:15:28.000 Sean McCorkle's a funny fucking guy. 1.00

01:15:31.000 He says some ridiculous shit online. 1.00

01:15:33.000 I don't know why. 1.00

01:15:33.000 Is he still alive? 1.00

01:15:35.000 I don't know.

01:15:35.000 I haven't heard from him forever.

01:15:36.000 He was a funny guy.

01:15:37.000 He was a funny guy at the time.

01:15:38.000 Him and Matt used to train together.

01:15:39.000 I think they had a show.

01:15:40.000 But, yeah, Mark struggled for a little bit there, and then he had the walk-off home run knockout of Chris Tushashir.

01:15:46.000 Mary had that horrible fight in Denver. 0.87

01:15:48.000 That fucked everyone with Ben Rothwell because they both got so tired because of the altitude. 0.90

01:15:52.000 And then I was asking Joe Silva, dude, let me fight my hometown. 0.76

01:15:55.000 He's like, we will never do heavyweights in Denver again because of that fight.

01:15:58.000 Meanwhile, they have Ken fight Verdum or they have...

01:16:01.000 Mexico City.

01:16:02.000 Ken fight Verdum in Mexico City, which is 2,000 feet higher.

01:16:06.000 Bad idea. 0.96

01:16:06.000 Ridiculous. 0.96

01:16:08.000 So, what else is going on in this car? 0.97

01:16:10.000 Is that it?

01:16:10.000 Should we just wrap this up?

01:16:12.000 I think we kind of got the card covered.

01:16:14.000 Yeah, you kind of got it covered.

01:16:15.000 We kind of got the card covered.

01:16:16.000 Oh, the Paul Felder-Charles Oliveira fight. 1.00

01:16:19.000 Felder is a fucking beast, man. 0.99

01:16:20.000 You know, Felder's another guy who... 1.00

01:16:23.000 And I'm interested to see.

01:16:24.000 I'm not hating on anyone.

01:16:25.000 I'm not saying they can't do it.

01:16:26.000 I'm interested to see.

01:16:27.000 You know, obviously, DC's been able to do it.

01:16:31.000 Dominic Cruz obviously got injured, but he was supposed to fight.

01:16:33.000 He's out of the fight now.

01:16:34.000 But guys who are working as analysts and fighters at a certain level, are you going to be able to continue at the highest level and compete?

01:16:42.000 He's not doing analysis enough where I think it's going to hurt him.

01:16:45.000 And I think, in fact, it's enough so it probably takes his mind off the training a little bit, lets him relax, and lets him analyze fights.

01:16:51.000 I don't think it's that big of a deal.

01:16:53.000 And when he did do the commentary, he was really good at it.

01:16:55.000 That's my thing.

01:16:56.000 He's really good at it.

01:16:57.000 He's really good at it.

01:16:58.000 So he has a future in it for sure.

01:17:00.000 Once he decides to retire, Paul could be an amazing commentator.

01:17:03.000 But I still think he's in his prime right now.

01:17:05.000 I think his potential is in commentating.

01:17:08.000 I think he has a higher potential in commentating than he does being the world champion of the UFC. I'm not willing to sign him off yet.

01:17:13.000 Oh, I'm not signing him off.

01:17:14.000 He's a phenomenal fighter.

01:17:15.000 He's a phenomenal fighter.

01:17:16.000 I don't know if he's world champion, but he's a phenomenal fighter.

01:17:18.000 How crazy would he be versus Gagey?

01:17:21.000 That's a fun fight. 1.00

01:17:22.000 That's a fun fucking fight. 1.00

01:17:23.000 He's an animal. 1.00

01:17:24.000 Paul Felder versus Gagey would be maybe like a perfect style matchup.

01:17:28.000 Never mad when Cooper fights.

01:17:30.000 No.

01:17:30.000 I'm excited about this fight.

01:17:32.000 Because Oliveira is very technical on his feet.

01:17:35.000 And super sneaky on the ground.

01:17:37.000 He's super technical, and he's sneaky on the ground, but he just can't get over that hump.

01:17:42.000 He has so much problems, he just couldn't get over that hump.

01:17:44.000 Kind of like Eric Silva.

01:17:45.000 Yeah.

01:17:46.000 Where there's so much promise and we thought they were going to be this and it just hasn't aligned for them.

01:17:50.000 The Cejudo Pettis fight's a very important fight too.

01:17:52.000 Very important.

01:17:53.000 When you look at Cejudo when he came off of that fight with Wilson Hayes, he looked sensational.

01:17:59.000 He looked amazing.

01:17:59.000 Sensational.

01:18:00.000 But also what screwed, not screwed, it was the good experience, but when he fought Demetrius Johnson, had no, you know, seven fight mixed martial arts fights.

01:18:06.000 Seven fights. 0.67

01:18:07.000 He should not have been in there with Demetrius Jones.

01:18:09.000 He's just not ready.

01:18:09.000 Now we see he's a little more well-rounded.

01:18:12.000 He's a phenomenal power puncher. 0.97

01:18:14.000 Obviously a ridiculous wrestler. 0.63

01:18:16.000 For Pettis, it's a tough one for him to take on here. 0.93

01:18:19.000 Very tough, and he's a young kid.

01:18:21.000 Pettis is only 24, I think.

01:18:22.000 He's very young.

01:18:23.000 He's very young.

01:18:24.000 He's out of his brother's shadow now.

01:18:26.000 For sure he's out of his brother's shadow.

01:18:28.000 Well, with a few wins, his brother's still a former world champion, both in Strikeforce and in the UFC. His brother just lost again, though.

01:18:34.000 He did lose again.

01:18:34.000 He's lost a bunch.

01:18:36.000 But still, he's fighting at a way higher level, up until this fight at least.

01:18:40.000 This fight is, this is like a world-class level.

01:18:43.000 For Pettis, this is like the most difficult fight, I think, he's ever faced in his career.

01:18:48.000 It's a little too much too soon, I think, for Pettis.

01:18:51.000 And that David Tamer dude, he's fighting against Rakkar Klose. 0.99

01:18:56.000 That fucking... 0.99

01:18:57.000 You see Tamer fight? 1.00

01:18:58.000 He was the one who fought Lando Venato?

01:18:59.000 Yes.

01:18:59.000 Woo!

01:19:00.000 He's nasty. 1.00

01:19:00.000 He's a monster. 1.00

01:19:01.000 He's a fucking savage. 1.00

01:19:02.000 Savage kickboxer, man. 1.00

01:19:04.000 That's going to be a fun fight. 0.99

01:19:05.000 Oh, here fucking Gokhan's out of the fight. 0.98

01:19:07.000 I'm not sure. 0.99

01:19:09.000 He got hurt.

01:19:09.000 That's a bummer.

01:19:10.000 It is a bummer.

01:19:11.000 How about Holly?

01:19:12.000 I'm sure we'll do a podcast for Holly Cyborg. 0.97

01:19:15.000 It's happening.

01:19:18.000 It's interesting.

01:19:19.000 I'll tell you what.

01:19:20.000 Nobody has more composure in their Instagram videos.

01:19:26.000 Than Holly.

01:19:27.000 She's the most composure.

01:19:29.000 She's like when she says, well, Cyborg's been saying that I haven't been tested.

01:19:35.000 She's a politician. 1.00

01:19:36.000 But actually I've been tested nine times.

01:19:38.000 She's been tested eight times.

01:19:39.000 So, some of us are out here training and not worrying about who's being tested.

01:19:46.000 It's so like...

01:19:47.000 Thank you.

01:19:48.000 Thank you.

01:19:48.000 Have a good day.

01:19:49.000 Thank you. 1.00

01:19:49.000 Ready to head kick a bitch. 1.00

01:19:50.000 Head kick! 1.00

01:19:52.000 I love Holly, man. 1.00

01:19:53.000 It's such a direct contrast to her fucking back flips. 1.00

01:19:56.000 She's a politician. 1.00

01:19:57.000 Fucking head kicks and shit. 1.00

01:19:58.000 She speaks like a politician. 1.00

01:19:59.000 Very smart, man.

01:20:00.000 Very smart.

01:20:00.000 Very calm and smooth.

01:20:01.000 And she's like a real all-American girl. 0.99

01:20:03.000 Like, you look at Holly Holm, she's got freckles and shit. 1.00

01:20:06.000 She's pretty. 0.99

01:20:06.000 She looks like an all-American head kicker. 0.99

01:20:09.000 And if she beats Cyborg, it's a tough if.

01:20:11.000 It's a tough if.

01:20:12.000 If she beats Cyborg, to me, she's number one of all time.

01:20:16.000 She beat Ron in her prime. 1.00

01:20:18.000 Now she beat Cyborg in her prime. 0.99

01:20:20.000 What are we doing?

01:20:21.000 I know she had those rough losses before.

01:20:22.000 Misha Tate, son.

01:20:23.000 Misha Tate.

01:20:24.000 I know.

01:20:25.000 Listen, Misha Tate strangled her and she was still punching in the air while she was going unconscious.

01:20:31.000 That's how savage Holly Holm is. 1.00

01:20:34.000 I know.

01:20:34.000 And such a great matchup.

01:20:36.000 Misha Tate did get her.

01:20:37.000 And Misha got her in the fifth round of a fight she was losing. 0.97

01:20:40.000 Took her back and put her to sleep.

01:20:42.000 I'm a Misha Tate fan, son.

01:20:43.000 Woo! 0.99

01:20:46.000 Yeah.

01:20:47.000 Fan.

01:20:47.000 But she's retired.

01:20:49.000 Yep.

01:20:49.000 She didn't want to do it anymore.

01:20:50.000 They got Holly Cyborg. 0.99

01:20:52.000 Yeah.

01:20:53.000 But it's that Holly Cyborg. 1.00

01:20:55.000 I wonder what kind of numbers that does.

01:20:57.000 Because that's your headliner on there right now.

01:20:59.000 Because, you know, Dom Cruise is off.

01:21:01.000 Well, it's going to show you the power of top-flight women's MMA fights, and then there's the cyborg aspect. 0.99

01:21:10.000 She's like a cultural icon sort of a thing.

01:21:12.000 People tune in to see, like, oh, that cyborg chick. 1.00

01:21:14.000 She's scary.

01:21:15.000 Doesn't lose either.

01:21:17.000 Scary, not physically scary.

01:21:18.000 Scary the way she destroys girls. 0.99

01:21:21.000 She's violent. 1.00

01:21:21.000 Very violent. 1.00

01:21:22.000 And very technical.

01:21:23.000 Her last fight wasn't that violent, but she wanted to show more for her boxing. 1.00

01:21:26.000 Well, she was fighting a crazy, I mean...

01:21:28.000 You talking about a zombie mom?

01:21:29.000 Yeah, Tonya Avenger. 0.99

01:21:30.000 Yeah, a zombie mom. 1.00

01:21:31.000 She didn't give a fuck. 1.00

01:21:32.000 She was throwing haymakers. 1.00

01:21:32.000 She's not even a mom. 1.00

01:21:33.000 I don't know how I call it.

01:21:34.000 She's not even a mom. 1.00

01:21:35.000 But she's tough as fuck. 1.00

01:21:36.000 Had mom bod and also would not go away like The Walking Dead. 1.00

01:21:40.000 That's a chick that if you were watching like a YouTube or a live...

01:21:42.000 It wouldn't even be on YouTube.

01:21:43.000 They'd pull it from YouTube.

01:21:44.000 Like a live leak outside of a bar in Kentucky. 1.00

01:21:48.000 Some chick gets up, puts her fucking cigarette down and rolls up the sleeves of her flail shot. 1.00

01:21:53.000 Probably wearing your shirt, the very shirt you're wearing, and just throws haymakers on some chick, and she's got her by the hair, and she's fucking dropping Muay Thai elbows on her. 1.00

01:22:02.000 But she keeps getting rocked and popping up. 0.91

01:22:04.000 She'd be like the Kimbo slice of soccer moms in the backyard brawls. 1.00

01:22:08.000 She's a tough, tough woman.

01:22:10.000 She's tough as nails. 1.00

01:22:11.000 I enjoyed that fight because of her.

01:22:13.000 I agree.

01:22:14.000 She made the fight.

01:22:14.000 Yeah, she made the fight.

01:22:15.000 And she fucking had some whistling shots swinging by Cyborg's chin. 1.00

01:22:19.000 She was going for it. 1.00

01:22:21.000 She took it.

01:22:23.000 And she was going for it.

01:22:24.000 Hats off.

01:22:24.000 And took a fight that a lot of people didn't want.

01:22:26.000 No one wants that fight. 0.99

01:22:27.000 Yeah, I mean, look at fucking Jermaine Durandam. 0.99

01:22:29.000 He said, nah. 0.99

01:22:30.000 I'm good.

01:22:31.000 You can keep your title.

01:22:32.000 I'm not fighting her. 0.99

01:22:33.000 Get the fuck out of here. 1.00

01:22:34.000 She's done steroids before. 1.00

01:22:35.000 Yeah, but she tests clean now. 1.00

01:22:36.000 Ah, I don't care.

01:22:36.000 I'm out.

01:22:36.000 Not recently enough.

01:22:38.000 Nope.

01:22:39.000 No, you've got to get her...

01:22:40.000 Test her again in like 10 years.

01:22:42.000 Yeah.

01:22:42.000 Test her every day for 10 years.

01:22:43.000 No, Durandamy said, fuck this. 1.00

01:22:45.000 Fuck this. 1.00

01:22:45.000 I love that Cyborg fight, though. 1.00

01:22:47.000 I do too, but I wanted to...

01:22:48.000 I'm interested to see what numbers it does.

01:22:49.000 See, Jermaine Durandamy is a very technical striker.

01:22:52.000 That's why I thought her versus Cyborg would be interesting.

01:22:54.000 I mean, Jermaine Durandamy fought a man.

01:22:57.000 That's how crazy, scary Cyborg is.

01:23:00.000 Jermaine fought a man and KO'd him.

01:23:03.000 There's video of it.

01:23:04.000 You can watch it.

01:23:06.000 She's like, I'll fight a man, but I'm not fighting Cyborg.

01:23:12.000 I'm off the Duranomy train. 1.00

01:23:14.000 She's like, fuck this, man. 1.00

01:23:14.000 When you give up the belt and say, nah, fuck it, she's too much. 1.00

01:23:18.000 Well, I'm a fan of her talent. 1.00

01:23:21.000 She's a very talented fighter. 1.00

01:23:22.000 She should have been champ in the first place, though. 1.00

01:23:24.000 I agree.

01:23:24.000 Holly beat her.

01:23:25.000 And I think she should have been penalized for sure. 1.00

01:23:27.000 Fuck yes. 1.00

01:23:28.000 For at least one of those after the bell shots. 1.00

01:23:30.000 100%.

01:23:30.000 She landed two after the bell shots.

01:23:32.000 One of them was devastating.

01:23:34.000 She really rocked Holly.

01:23:35.000 Holly beat her, man. 1.00

01:23:36.000 Yeah, I think Holly beat her. 0.99

01:23:36.000 I think you've got to take into consideration what scoring system they were using back then. 0.99

01:23:42.000 Because I do not think that they were using a new MMA scoring system.

01:23:45.000 It was also New York.

01:23:46.000 And it was early day New York.

01:23:47.000 When I say early day, like six months ago.

01:23:50.000 I think the refereeing could have been better because I do think she should have been penalized for those shots after the bell. 1.00

01:23:56.000 And when Holly head kicked her, that was one of the most significant moments in the fight. 0.90

01:24:00.000 The other most significant moment of the fight was when Holly dropped her with a straight left hand. 1.00

01:24:04.000 So those were two giant moments in the fight and they were both on Holly's side.

01:24:07.000 And then there was the two shots after the bell, which you could conceivably penalize her for at least one.

01:24:12.000 You have to, for one.

01:24:13.000 You have to, for one.

01:24:14.000 And that's why I thought Holly won the fight. 0.99

01:24:16.000 Yeah, I would agree with you.

01:24:17.000 I would agree with you.

01:24:18.000 Because other than that, Holly did the most damage in the fight for sure, but Doreen Durandamy, Jermaine Durandamy, was controlling the action at the beginning of the fight until Holly landed that question mark kick. 1.00

01:24:28.000 Amazing.

01:24:29.000 That question mark kick is a beautiful kick.

01:24:32.000 It's just a beautiful kick.

01:24:33.000 You know, if you're good at it, if you get that over-the-top, like Rockhold's beautiful at that.

01:24:37.000 He's really good at it.

01:24:38.000 No one does better than Donald, but yeah.

01:24:40.000 Donald kind of...

01:24:41.000 Donald doesn't.

01:24:41.000 Beautiful.

01:24:42.000 I feel like Donald's the one who kind of made that his thing.

01:24:45.000 In the UFC? Yes.

01:24:46.000 Yeah.

01:24:46.000 For head kick KOs?

01:24:48.000 Question mark kicks?

01:24:49.000 There's been some other ones in the past.

01:24:51.000 I'm trying to remember all of them.

01:24:52.000 Do you see that video?

01:24:53.000 I think Justin Renn posted, but ESPN blasted, that the wheel kick that landed knocked that dude out.

01:24:59.000 The heel landed right on the dude's chin. 1.00

01:25:01.000 It's so gnarly.

01:25:03.000 Oh, the one where the dude ducks down and throws an up-wheel kick?

01:25:06.000 The guy's throwing a head kick.

01:25:08.000 There's a black guy and a white guy. 0.84

01:25:09.000 Yes. 0.99

01:25:09.000 The white guy throws a head kick. 0.99

01:25:10.000 Yes. 0.88

01:25:10.000 And the dude ducks down, almost like a cartwheel kick, and throws a wheel kick up. 0.88

01:25:15.000 And the heel goes...

01:25:17.000 Oh, perfect shot.

01:25:18.000 My God.

01:25:19.000 The way he threw it.

01:25:20.000 Do you know what the video is?

01:25:21.000 Yeah.

01:25:24.000 It's almost like that, but what it's like is he just knew where the dude's chin was going to be and ducked himself.

01:25:30.000 So, you know, you bend your body, but it's just very rare that you see someone landed at that angle.

01:25:36.000 Especially with the heel.

01:25:37.000 Yeah.

01:25:38.000 That must have hurt.

01:25:39.000 Look at this.

01:25:39.000 Boom!

01:25:41.000 Crazy.

01:25:42.000 It's almost like it's hard to know whether or not that was perfectly placed or just crazy lucky timing.

01:25:50.000 Watch this.

01:25:51.000 Watch it again.

01:25:52.000 So you see him here, he's gonna give it up.

01:25:54.000 See?

01:25:54.000 But that's not the way he did it.

01:25:56.000 It's not a normal path.

01:25:58.000 It's really amazing.

01:25:59.000 It's almost like he adapted to it and went straight up.

01:26:02.000 Yeah.

01:26:02.000 He knew what the dude's head was going to be.

01:26:04.000 I mean, really, you'd have to see him fight more to see how good he is with his kicks, but that shit is perfect. 1.00

01:26:09.000 That shit was nasty. 1.00

01:26:10.000 Let's see that one more time. 1.00

01:26:11.000 One more time, because it's crazy.

01:26:13.000 Look at the title.

01:26:15.000 Amateur MMA fighter.

01:26:17.000 Stop! 1.00

01:26:17.000 Arch's opponent! 1.00

01:26:18.000 See, right here, a Taekwondo guy would see the shifting of the hips and then the shoulder moves towards the left.

01:26:24.000 As soon as you see that, yeah.

01:26:25.000 See that right there?

01:26:26.000 You see that right there?

01:26:27.000 That is absolutely he's about to spin.

01:26:29.000 See the right leg moves?

01:26:30.000 The right leg slides back? 0.96

01:26:32.000 You're showing your cards there.

01:26:33.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:26:34.000 With Wonderboy to throw that, you don't see it.

01:26:36.000 Wonderboy's not going to show you that.

01:26:37.000 You're not going to see that, no.

01:26:38.000 He's flashing his aces there.

01:26:40.000 Yeah, but he's also doing it in timing with this left high kick, which is so brilliant.

01:26:44.000 So the left kick is coming, he sees the left kick, and he's like, yeah, check this out, bro.

01:26:51.000 I ain't there.

01:26:52.000 Dude, look at this.

01:26:53.000 The head kick misses, and then it goes under.

01:26:56.000 You know what?

01:26:56.000 I think he did it on purpose, 100%.

01:26:58.000 Oh, yeah, 100%.

01:26:59.000 Oh! 0.60

01:27:00.000 I mean, he either improvised in the moment or he did it exactly like this on purpose, like saw it coming.

01:27:05.000 But either way, it's just a perfect shot. 0.99

01:27:07.000 Dude, to dodge that kick and land this, I mean, it's some skillful shit. 0.99

01:27:12.000 Amazing. 0.99

01:27:13.000 Amazing.

01:27:13.000 Docked a head kick and landed a perfect, like, crazy 90-degree angle.

01:27:17.000 Wheel kick to the mug. 0.95

01:27:19.000 Amateur fight.

01:27:20.000 In the UK. Yeah.

01:27:21.000 That's crazy.

01:27:22.000 It's crazy how he saw the left high kick, too.

01:27:25.000 Bam! 0.98

01:27:25.000 Boom! 0.98

01:27:26.000 Fucking A. Made ESPN as an amateur fighter in ESPN. I know, right? 0.99

01:27:30.000 Now you gotta make up for that.

01:27:33.000 Yeah, you gotta carry that.

01:27:33.000 You gotta carry that with you.

01:27:35.000 Everybody's looking for the head kick, the next one.

01:27:36.000 You can't be ground and pounding somebody.

01:27:38.000 That's your thing now.

01:27:39.000 Yeah.

01:27:40.000 Dude's getting married to a thing really early on, right?

01:27:43.000 It becomes a real problem.

01:27:44.000 It becomes a real problem.

01:27:45.000 Hell yeah.

01:27:46.000 You're known as, like, if Gaethje just decides tomorrow to fight like Tyron Woodley... 0.98

01:27:52.000 Just move around a lot and get the fuck out of the eyes. 1.00

01:27:55.000 What the fuck? 1.00

01:27:56.000 There's gonna be a riot. 1.00

01:27:57.000 What the fuck? 1.00

01:27:57.000 People would go so crazy. 1.00

01:27:59.000 Like what if Gagey got a title shot against Tyron Woodley and they both like mirrored each other.

01:28:03.000 They both like... 0.99

01:28:04.000 Like what the fuck is going on? 0.99

01:28:06.000 Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, have you seen how hard your boy Colby Covington's been going in the paint on Instagram? 0.99

01:28:16.000 Woodley?

01:28:17.000 Oh my god.

01:28:17.000 Have you seen his recent one with the sandals?

01:28:19.000 He did a Black Friday sale of these sandals mocking Woodley.

01:28:23.000 Why?

01:28:24.000 I don't get how he's mocking Woodley with sandals.

01:28:27.000 You'll see it.

01:28:28.000 They're not real sandals.

01:28:30.000 He's just like, hey, make sure you get your sandals this Friday.

01:28:33.000 And it's the sandals of Woodley saying one thing why he'll fight Nate Diaz, but saying another thing why he won't fight Colby.

01:28:39.000 There it is.

01:28:40.000 Look at this.

01:28:40.000 Oh, Ariel, GSP is ducking me.

01:28:42.000 He just wants money fights. 0.90

01:28:44.000 Ariel, I'm not ducking Colby or anyone at 170. I want to fight Nate because it's a money fight.

01:28:52.000 That seems like he's saying the same thing.

01:28:54.000 Yes.

01:28:54.000 Yeah, I get it.

01:28:55.000 I get it.

01:28:56.000 He just keeps going at him.

01:28:57.000 He just wants a money fight.

01:28:58.000 I want to fight Nate because it's a money fight.

01:29:00.000 Yeah.

01:29:01.000 I get it.

01:29:02.000 What do you do with Woodley?

01:29:04.000 Good question.

01:29:05.000 You offer him a big fight.

01:29:07.000 That's what he wants.

01:29:08.000 I'm almost positive.

01:29:10.000 Make sure I'm right on this before I get destroyed on the underground.

01:29:13.000 But I think Dan goes, we never offered Woodley the Diaz fight.

01:29:19.000 Oh, so he's just trying to get it?

01:29:20.000 Pretty sure.

01:29:21.000 Look, the real Diaz fight is the other Diaz.

01:29:24.000 That's the real Diaz fight.

01:29:25.000 Nick?

01:29:25.000 Isn't Nick suspended, though?

01:29:26.000 Let him pay that fucking money back. 0.99

01:29:29.000 Get him back in there. 0.99

01:29:30.000 Tyron Wooley responds to claim Nate Diaz fight was never offered.

01:29:33.000 Delusional Dana constantly demotes me as a fighter. 0.99

01:29:36.000 Whoa.

01:29:38.000 In regards to what though, Jamie?

01:29:40.000 Because it's the claim that Nate Diaz fight was never offered to him.

01:29:43.000 Delusional Dana.

01:29:45.000 Yeah, but did Dana say it?

01:29:46.000 Constantly demotes me as a fighter when the job is to promote his fighters, especially champions.

01:29:52.000 Woodley said, why would I get in camp?

01:29:55.000 Why would Nate give a $15 million purse request if there was no fight?

01:29:59.000 It's obvious they haven't found their blockbuster headliner yet.

01:30:02.000 This was a reality and they know it.

01:30:04.000 The inability to come to financial terms with Nate killed it.

01:30:07.000 Oh, but there's Dana going, one of our attorneys here started playing matchmaker, which is weird.

01:30:12.000 He has a good rapport with the Diaz brothers, and he basically said to Nate, what if you could fight Woodley?

01:30:18.000 Me and Sean Shelby were like, how does he deserve to fight Woodley?

01:30:21.000 There's no effing list of guys that are waiting to fight Tyron Woodley. 0.99

01:30:24.000 There is a fucking list of guys. 0.99

01:30:27.000 What are you talking about? 1.00

01:30:28.000 There you go.

01:30:29.000 Yeah.

01:30:30.000 Okay, so the attorney went out of his way. 1.00

01:30:33.000 The attorney fucked up. 0.99

01:30:34.000 Who's this attorney? 1.00

01:30:36.000 What kind of slapdick attorney tries playing these games?

01:30:39.000 That's what I would do if I was at UFC. I'd have a bunch of fake attorney Twitter accounts.

01:30:43.000 I'd just say, I'm an attorney with UFC, and I'm interested to know...

01:30:46.000 Would you be interested in this fight? 0.98

01:30:48.000 Ben Askren, I know you say you're retarded, but how retarded are you? 1.00

01:30:50.000 Get back at me. 1.00

01:30:51.000 Dude.

01:30:51.000 I'm getting Askren on the podcast.

01:30:53.000 Fuck yes. 1.00

01:30:54.000 Dude, to me, his career is a sad story. 1.00

01:30:58.000 It is.

01:30:59.000 The guy that never was.

01:30:59.000 Yeah, well, for whatever reason, they couldn't work it out.

01:31:03.000 Him and Dana.

01:31:04.000 Him and Dana.

01:31:05.000 They had their disagreements and also his fighting style.

01:31:07.000 But for him never to compete in the UFC is crazy.

01:31:11.000 That fighting style is important, man.

01:31:11.000 If you're a fan of fighting, that style is important.

01:31:14.000 Because Ben Askren shuts motherfuckers down. 0.99

01:31:17.000 And he shuts good guys, like Lima. 0.99

01:31:19.000 In Bellator, remember when we shut Lima down?

01:31:21.000 Like Korshkov. 0.99

01:31:22.000 Shut him the fuck down. 1.00

01:31:23.000 Shut him down. 1.00

01:31:24.000 Those are world-class guys.

01:31:25.000 Look where he did Aoki. 1.00

01:31:26.000 Shut his ass down. 1.00

01:31:28.000 It's such a bummer he never got in the UFC. And you know what? 1.00

01:31:30.000 I gotta be honest.

01:31:31.000 I think if that same GSP showed up that fought Bisping, shows up to fight Askren, Askren beats him.

01:31:37.000 Whoa.

01:31:37.000 I know.

01:31:38.000 Crazy, right?

01:31:38.000 To me, Askren, it's a sad story.

01:31:41.000 It's a sad, sad story.

01:31:42.000 I agree.

01:31:44.000 If I had one wish, to get a guy in the UFC that's never been in the UFC, he'd be the guy.

01:31:49.000 Me too.

01:31:50.000 I agree.

01:31:50.000 Because Fedor, it's like, you were already getting to see him in Bellator.

01:31:54.000 Mitrione just KO'd him.

01:31:55.000 You know, I get it, but not at this stage.

01:31:57.000 At this stage, I would say, without doubt, it was Askren.

01:32:01.000 I would use my golden ticket if I had one with Dana to get Askren in there.

01:32:06.000 Yeah, I would too. 0.98

01:32:07.000 But you know, he called Dana like a fat, bald, steroid monkey. 1.00

01:32:12.000 But shit. 1.00

01:32:13.000 He's funny, man. 1.00

01:32:14.000 But does that mean...

01:32:15.000 How many things has Dana said about guys?

01:32:17.000 I don't know.

01:32:18.000 You know what I'm saying?

01:32:19.000 It's a style thing, too.

01:32:20.000 They're worried that his style's boring.

01:32:22.000 I understand that they're in the business of fighting.

01:32:26.000 But, I mean, I kind of am, but I've kind of not.

01:32:30.000 I'm in the business of, I'm a fan of fighting.

01:32:33.000 And I'm not just a fan of fighting like I like to watch fights. 0.96

01:32:37.000 I want to see what the fuck really works the best. 0.98

01:32:40.000 And when a guy can do what Ben Askren's been able to do time and time again in his career to world-class fighters, take them down, smother them, beat the shit out of them. 0.99

01:32:48.000 That's entertaining.

01:32:48.000 It's not just entertaining.

01:32:50.000 It's important for the art form.

01:32:52.000 I agree.

01:32:53.000 To adapt to that style, that dominant style.

01:32:55.000 You've got to know that a guy can do that to a guy like Lima or a guy like Cora Correct, but also, Ben Askren, he speaks well.

01:33:01.000 Yes.

01:33:02.000 He can hype the fight up on social media, and he speaks very well.

01:33:04.000 Yes, he's a great foil.

01:33:05.000 He's also an Olympian.

01:33:06.000 Yeah, he's also an Olympian.

01:33:07.000 And how about this?

01:33:08.000 Floyd Mayweather does not win fights because he's exciting.

01:33:10.000 No, you want to see him lose.

01:33:11.000 I mean, maybe he was against the Conor fight.

01:33:12.000 You want to see him lose. 0.98

01:33:13.000 Yeah, people want to see him lose because he's a good trash talker. 0.97

01:33:16.000 We should start our own promotion. 0.96

01:33:18.000 We really should.

01:33:19.000 In a football field. 0.99

01:33:21.000 Oh, God damn it. 0.99

01:33:22.000 Now, you and Eddie are doing that. 1.00

01:33:23.000 I don't do football fields.

01:33:25.000 Freak Party Fighting Productions presents.

01:33:28.000 That crazy Eddie is the matchmaker.

01:33:31.000 Eddie would definitely be the matchmaker, but first you have to listen to a 45-minute seminar on the latest false flags.

01:33:39.000 Come on, man.

01:33:40.000 If we had a sitcom, though seriously, think about how crazy different we all are.

01:33:44.000 If we had a sitcom where there was all these characters, you would want to have the crazy conspiracy guy.

01:33:49.000 Oh, you've got to have Eddie.

01:33:50.000 Who's also one of the best jiu-jitsu instructors in the world.

01:33:53.000 Correct.

01:33:53.000 Which validates him.

01:33:55.000 Validates him!

01:33:55.000 Which is wizard jiu-jitsu guy.

01:33:58.000 Correct.

01:33:58.000 Who's like all about Operation Mockingbird, Paperclip.

01:34:02.000 He's successful, so you gotta take what he says pretty serious, but it's also batshit crazy. 0.92

01:34:07.000 Batshit crazy. 0.87

01:34:08.000 And tell you, I'm crazy. 1.00

01:34:10.000 I know, I'm crazy.

01:34:11.000 So you can't argue him.

01:34:12.000 He'll go, I know, it's crazy.

01:34:13.000 I'm crazy.

01:34:14.000 But all I'm saying is look into it. 1.00

01:34:19.000 He's out of his fucking mind. 1.00

01:34:20.000 It's a weird group of people. 1.00

01:34:22.000 It's the best dynamic, man.

01:34:23.000 Oh, man.

01:34:24.000 We haven't done a fighting painting in a while.

01:34:25.000 I know.

01:34:25.000 We need to do a good one with our big, giant-ass screen.

01:34:28.000 We did one with the big, giant-ass screen, right?

01:34:30.000 Just you, me, and Eddie, though.

01:34:32.000 What fights are coming up that we might be able to do that?

01:34:34.000 There's one every weekend until the New Year's.

01:34:36.000 Show me what we got here, young J-Man. 0.98

01:34:39.000 We have...

01:34:40.000 There's one...

01:34:43.000 Right after that, that's what.

01:34:45.000 Cub Swanson!

01:34:46.000 Ooh! 0.96

01:34:47.000 And Ortega! 0.99

01:34:49.000 Brian T.C. City!

01:34:50.000 Ooh, I'm in town for that.

01:34:51.000 T.C.D. Ortega.

01:34:53.000 Triangle City. 1.00

01:34:54.000 He's a bad motherfucker. 1.00

01:34:55.000 I love that guy. 1.00

01:34:56.000 Ortega's my boy.

01:34:56.000 I love his guard, man.

01:34:57.000 He has one of the best guards.

01:34:59.000 That's the one.

01:35:00.000 That's the one.

01:35:00.000 Dos Anjos and Lawler.

01:35:03.000 Oh, boy.

01:35:05.000 December 16th. 1.00

01:35:06.000 Motherfucker! 1.00

01:35:07.000 I'm in Buffalo. 1.00

01:35:08.000 Everyone's out of town.

01:35:08.000 I'm in Buffalo.

01:35:09.000 Shit! 1.00

01:35:09.000 You're in Vegas. 1.00

01:35:10.000 Shit! 1.00

01:35:11.000 Why are you in Vegas? 1.00

01:35:13.000 I'm not.

01:35:14.000 Oh.

01:35:15.000 No, I'm in Vegas two weeks after that.

01:35:17.000 Yeah, I'm sorry.

01:35:18.000 I'm out of town too that day.

01:35:19.000 We're all out of town.

01:35:22.000 But what's up with that December, the December 9th one?

01:35:27.000 When's that?

01:35:28.000 Saturday, December 9th.

01:35:30.000 I'm working. 0.99

01:35:31.000 Damn it. 1.00

01:35:32.000 Comedy? 1.00

01:35:33.000 Yeah, I'm in like Long Beach or some shit. 0.99

01:35:36.000 Long Beach. 0.99

01:35:37.000 Yeah.

01:35:38.000 I'm going to tell you exactly where I'm at.

01:35:41.000 While you're bringing that up.

01:35:42.000 Yeah, Long Beach.

01:35:43.000 Terrace Theater.

01:35:44.000 Terrace Theater in Long Beach?

01:35:45.000 Guess who's going to be in Boston at the Wilbur Theater on January 19th, the day before UFC 220. I heard it's Brendan Schott.

01:35:53.000 That's right, brother.

01:35:54.000 I heard it's you in Boston.

01:35:55.000 That's right, man.

01:35:56.000 We're going to be there together.

01:35:57.000 Yes.

01:35:58.000 I'm excited.

01:35:58.000 I'm excited, too, man.

01:36:00.000 It's going to be a fun weekend.

01:36:01.000 Tickets just won on sale.

01:36:03.000 Wilbur Theatre is a beautiful place too, man.

01:36:05.000 I'm so excited, man.

01:36:06.000 You were very funny last night.

01:36:07.000 Thanks, brother. 0.97

01:36:07.000 Killing it. 0.97

01:36:08.000 It means the world to me. 1.00

01:36:08.000 Killing it! 1.00

01:36:09.000 Thanks, man. 0.70

01:36:10.000 Working at it too.

01:36:11.000 Alright, let's wrap this up because I gotta piss. 0.76

01:36:13.000 See you guys.

01:36:14.000 Bye, everybody.
