The John-Henry Westen Show - Catholic activist Jesse Romero lays out the spiritual tools needed to fight the devil

00:00:00.000 Hello friends and welcome to the John Henry Weston show, Confronting Satan Head On.

00:00:06.220 That's what we're talking about today and we have with us someone who does that like on a daily

00:00:10.500 basis. His name is Jesse Romero. He's a great Catholic activist known to many of you.

00:00:15.120 You're going to want to stay tuned and find out what's going on with SatanCon.

00:00:30.000 Let's begin as we always do at the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son

00:00:42.920 and of the Holy Ghost. Amen. Jesse Romero, welcome to the program.

00:00:48.660 Thank you, John. Thank you for having me on, brother.

00:00:50.240 Jesse, I know you very well. Can you give people like a 30-second snapshot of who is Jesse Romero?

00:00:57.400 I'm a retired Los Angeles deputy sheriff and I'm a Catholic lay evangelist, a Catholic speaker and

00:01:04.040 author. I've been a Catholic all my life. I've been married for 38 years. I have three young adult

00:01:11.560 kids all practicing their faith. I have five grandchildren starting to come. Thanks be to

00:01:17.280 God. I'm just somebody who's a faithful son of the church and I've got an apostolic duty and mandate

00:01:25.380 to proclaim the truth until my heart stops just like everybody else out there.

00:01:29.480 You know, Terry is a good friend of LifeSite. Terry runs the Bishop Strickland Hour with Bishop Strickland,

00:01:37.580 of course. And that's how I met Jesse Romero through Terry Barber and just such a dynamic pair.

00:01:44.120 They run together the Terry and Jesse Barber show, which just to get to know the character of Jesse

00:01:50.860 Romero and Terry Barber is that they keep getting booted off these places for being too faithful.

00:01:56.880 So it's great to be with you, Jesse. So let's get into this. You are heading up a direct confrontation

00:02:04.200 with SatanCon. Let us know what's that, what is that and what's it all about?

00:02:09.340 February 11th, 12th and 13th, the Temple of Satan is coming to Scottsdale, Arizona,

00:02:14.040 which is in the, is a city in the Diocese of Phoenix. I live in the Diocese of Phoenix and they're

00:02:20.300 going to have their first religious convention. It's going to be a three-day event at the Saguaro

00:02:26.700 Hotel. And the leader of the Temple of Satan, he's, he's one of the co-founders, Lucy and Greaves is

00:02:33.640 going to be here. They're going to be doing again, hexes, curses, incantations, sex magic. And without a

00:02:42.980 doubt, what they do when they get all together, they do a black mass. They're not going to publicize 1.00

00:02:46.620 that because they don't want to give more negative publicity, but I've had all the parishes in

00:02:51.200 Scottsdale, all the four parishes, they're on notice. People are receiving right now the Eucharist

00:02:57.680 very reverently. And there are, there are men all around watching people receive Holy Communion

00:03:03.380 for the next couple of weeks, because we anticipate they're going to try to infiltrate one of the

00:03:08.100 Catholic churches and steal the Holy Eucharist for their black mass, which is basically their, 0.99

00:03:14.300 their grand finale and their, and their events. Yeah. Now, just so that everybody knows, Satanism

00:03:20.080 is real. There's no funny stuff here. It's not like this is all made believe because it's not made

00:03:26.760 believe. These people are doing something that confronts the spiritual realities that are there,

00:03:33.200 whether some of them believe it or not, or just doing it for the fun of it or to be stupid or 0.99

00:03:37.580 whatever they're doing. These are real things. Given that this is real, are you not afraid, 1.00

00:03:44.300 concerned? What, what is your motivation to go ahead and do this anyway? You know, that Satan

00:03:49.540 is more powerful than we are more powerful than all mankind. So why would you think that you would

00:03:55.780 go up against this sort of directly? We are protected, John. So long as you live in a state of

00:04:02.240 sanctifying grace, that means in a right relationship with God, free from mortal sin. And if you've got

00:04:07.360 mortal sin, go to confession ASAP, a state of grace also means that you're also constantly fighting

00:04:12.500 against even venial sin. You're in a right relationship with God. As the Bible says in

00:04:16.920 John 15, 13 to 15, you're a friend of God, a friend of God. That's what it means to live in a state of

00:04:22.060 sanctifying grace, frequently having the sacraments of Christ flowing through our soul. This way, there are

00:04:27.940 no impediments to grace. The only impediment to grace is mortal sin. If you live in a state of grace,

00:04:33.880 every single exorcist that teaches right now in all the schools of exorcism teach that living in a

00:04:40.540 state of grace, you're protected from the diabolical. You cannot be afflicted. Generally speaking, there

00:04:47.740 are exceptions, very few, but generally speaking, if you're in a state of grace, that's, that's what

00:04:52.900 St. Paul calls the armor of God. Also as Catholics, we have to remember that the Bible tells us that

00:05:00.080 Ephesians chapter five, verse 11, it says, take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness,

00:05:06.100 but instead expose them. And as Catholics, we have to live by faith, not by fear. And the Bible does

00:05:12.680 say in Philippians 4, 13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. And as Catholics,

00:05:18.520 we have a duty and obligation. In fact, you know, actually what I'm following, the Bishop of Phoenix,

00:05:26.740 Bishop Osset, who's a very good holy man. He wrote a document several years ago. It's called

00:05:31.500 Into the Breach for Catholic men. If you read that document into the breach, that's exactly what I'm 1.00

00:05:38.760 following. I am taking Catholic men and women and wives as well. And we're going to go out into the

00:05:45.660 breach. What does that mean biblically into the breach? It means that it means that somebody has to

00:05:52.800 stand in between the innocent and the evil, the wicked men have to go out there and stand in the

00:06:01.480 gap, stand in the breach to forestall destruction. That's what Ezekiel, the prophet was talking about

00:06:07.220 in Ezekiel chapter 22, verse 30. And that's what we're doing. We're going to stand there and make

00:06:13.620 public reparation for what's going on in that conference, because many of them may be falling

00:06:19.340 away Catholics. We want to pray for reparation prayers for the grave evil that's occurring in 1.00

00:06:25.920 that conference, and also that God gives them the grace of conversion. Because if 25% of Americans are

00:06:32.340 baptized Catholic, that means 25% of the attendees of that conference and even organizers are probably

00:06:38.640 falling away baptized Catholics. And so we have to stand in the breach and pray for them. 0.99

00:06:43.920 It's an incredible thing, because your concern, yes, to make reparation to our good Lord for the

00:06:50.180 offenses that are being committed right there, but also to sort of recapture their souls for Christ,

00:06:55.740 their souls that they have themselves almost seemingly willingly, perhaps not so some of them,

00:07:00.000 but given over to Satan with all the confusion that's going on there. But tell us, what is,

00:07:08.400 you know, the specifics of the program? When should you meet? Where do you meet? What are you guys doing?

00:07:14.260 Where can people sign up as well? By next Monday, we're going to have a landing page. And as soon as I

00:07:19.700 know the name of the landing page, we're having meetings right now, I'll give it to you so you can

00:07:22.720 put it out on live site. It'll be a landing page where all the information is going to be. But essentially,

00:07:29.200 it's going to be a peaceful, prayerful protest. Bring your rosaries, bring your sacramentals,

00:07:35.860 make sure you've gone to confession that week. In other words, we want to make sure you're in a state

00:07:40.500 of sanctifying grace. If you're not a serious Catholic, don't show up. Okay, this is not,

00:07:46.000 you know, this, this is not for the faint hearted. We're going to be protesting in front of the

00:07:52.280 Saguaro Hotel in downtown Scottsdale. On the sidewalk, obviously, the police department says,

00:07:59.280 absolutely, it's your right to do so. City Hall, I've already checked with them. It's your right to do so.

00:08:03.840 The only thing that they've asked us is don't bring any amplification devices like microphones

00:08:09.340 and speakers, but we can bring bullhorns. And so we're going to be meeting from 12 noon to 3 p.m.

00:08:18.500 We're not going to be there all day, eight hours, 10 hours. We don't want to give them undue publicity.

00:08:23.280 We don't want to give them all kinds of fanfare and all kinds of media attention that they don't

00:08:28.340 deserve. What we're going to do is something very surgical. It's a surgical strike.

00:08:33.040 What do I mean by that? 2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior was dying for our

00:08:38.520 sins on Calvary and redeeming the world from 12 to 3 on a cross. And there's a lot of parking around

00:08:44.320 the area. And all this will be in the website, the landing page next Monday. It'll all be there.

00:08:48.740 We're to park the public restrooms, everything will be there. And so what we want is for people

00:08:54.540 to pray. We're going to start off at the 12 noon Angelus and we'll end up with the three o'clock

00:08:58.780 divine mercy. We'll be praying for three hours, four rosaries, Psalms in between, a spiritual

00:09:05.620 warfare, deprecatory prayers approved for the lady in between the rosaries. We'll be chanting

00:09:10.560 Gregorian chant. And why are we doing this? Because our prayers, John, what it does, we're calling the

00:09:19.920 grace of conversion upon them, number one. Number two, we're making reparation to God for the

00:09:27.360 incantations, curses, and hexes, and sex magic that's happening inside that building. We're making

00:09:34.540 reparation to God because of the grave evil. And number three, also, Catholic prayer is what it does.

00:09:40.900 It sabotages and it blocks the potency and the power of their curses. We want to pray to protect

00:09:48.680 all the people of Scottsdale, all the people, the Catholics, especially the people of goodwill.

00:09:54.060 That's what Catholic prayer does. What it does, it like pulls the plug from a computer and it just 0.82

00:10:02.500 jams their signal. It jams their curses. It sabotages their communication. And so that's exactly why we need

00:10:09.720 to be there. When you pray from 12 to 3, remember when you were a kid, John, you probably do this

00:10:15.220 with your kids as well. My parents are from Mexico. They used to say, on Good Friday from 12 to 3,

00:10:21.240 you're not going to do anything. We're going to go to the church. You're going to sit there and just

00:10:25.780 look at the stations of the cross and pray, take a book to read and pray. You're not going to do

00:10:30.760 anything, no TV, no radio, no plane from 12 to 3 every Good Friday. That was standard and I still do it

00:10:37.460 with my family. Why? Because we're meditating upon what Christ did in those three hours,

00:10:43.720 the holiest three hours of human history. This is why we're choosing those three hours to pray.

00:10:49.760 Because as we pray from 12 to 3, our prayers are flowing with the blood of Jesus downstream.

00:10:59.560 And they have more power, more merit, more efficacy. Because we're praying at the time Christ

00:11:05.820 was redeeming the world, including those Satanists. It would be an example. You go to a river,

00:11:12.040 the Colorado River, just to take a name. And you say, man, I want to swim fast. I want to just get

00:11:17.980 a rush. You're a young guy. I want to just go fast. Well, are you going to swim upstream? No,

00:11:24.200 you're not going to be able to swim that fast. What if you swim downstream? Man, you're going to go

00:11:28.440 like a, you're going to be like a canoe. That's what happens when you pray from 12 to 3 p.m.

00:11:34.160 And you unite your prayers with Christ on Calvary. It has a lot more power and merit and efficacy

00:11:40.340 because it's being carried mystically by the blood of Jesus.

00:11:44.620 Let me ask you something, because this is on a lot of people's minds today.

00:11:48.060 We are living in a very strange time. There is all sorts of consternation going on.

00:11:54.120 And I know for you and I, we didn't live through some of the great battles of the Church,

00:12:00.860 Second Vatican Council and the changes to the Mass, etc., etc. But at least in my lifetime,

00:12:07.400 the consternation that's going on right now over coronavirus and the whole confusion in the Church

00:12:13.780 with Pope Francis and everything, it's mind-boggling. You have veritable people who I would have

00:12:21.660 considered saints, but on two sides of an issue that's so stark right now that is just unbelievable.

00:12:28.060 It brings to mind something that we were told from Our Lady of Fatima about a diabolic

00:12:33.800 disorientation. If you wouldn't mind, Jesse, I'd love to hear your thoughts on that and the

00:12:39.240 coming solution to that.

00:12:40.980 As Catholics, we have to remember that we've been warned about this. Many approved Marian

00:12:46.740 apparitions, like Our Lady of Good Success, Our Lady of La Salette, Our Lady of Akita, Japan,

00:12:55.260 three off the top of my head that I know about, warned us that we would enter into a time where

00:13:01.560 we would see bishops fighting against bishops, cardinals fighting against cardinals, and even

00:13:06.100 bishops and cardinals fighting against the Pope. The last visionary, Sister Lucia, in 1980,

00:13:11.260 she wrote a letter to Cardinal Kafara. She said that we would enter into a time of diabolical

00:13:16.460 disorientation. Pope Paul VI, he used also something similar. He said also, back in the 70s,

00:13:25.720 he said that the Church, the word that I want to use a proper word, there would be like the Church

00:13:31.720 would be consuming herself. I'll find the word right now. I'll look at my notes somewhere.

00:13:35.180 But there would be auto-demolition. In the early 70s, Pope Paul VI, St. Paul VI said that we,

00:13:42.080 the Church would enter into a time of auto-demolition, destruction from within. That's what that 0.88

00:13:48.200 means. Now, this shouldn't surprise us, because as Catholics, we know that we have an arch enemy.

00:13:55.680 Pope John Paul II warned us about this back in 76. He gave a, this is when he was Cardinal

00:14:01.560 Wojtyla. He spoke at a, at a Eucharistic Congress over in Philadelphia. He said this,

00:14:07.300 we're now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church

00:14:11.020 of the Gospel versus the anti-Gospel between Christ and the Antichrist. The confrontation lies

00:14:20.580 within the plans of divine providence. So God is allowing this. Then he says, it is therefore in

00:14:25.980 God's plan, and it must be a trial which the Church, that's all of us, you and I, must take

00:14:32.480 up and face courageously. Again, Venerable Fulton Sheen also warned us of this, of this present moment

00:14:39.120 also. Back in 1967, he said this about, it's in a book called Quotable Quotes from Sheen. He says,

00:14:50.100 the world is rapidly being divided into two camps, the comradeship of the Antichrist 0.95

00:14:55.900 and the Brotherhood of Christ. The lines between these two are being drawn. How long will the battle

00:15:02.740 be? We know not. Whether swords will have to be a sheath, we know not. Whether blood will have to be

00:15:08.060 shed, we know not. Whether it'll be an armed conflict, we know not. But in a conflict between

00:15:14.360 truth and darkness, truth cannot lose. We have a lot of good voices, John, that have told us

00:15:20.080 about this present moment right now. St. Thomas Aquinas told us in the 12th century, he said that

00:15:26.480 there are two mystical bodies. He says, you have the mystical body of Christ on earth and the mystical

00:15:32.340 body of the devil or the mystical body of the Antichrist. And so St. Gregory says that the mystical

00:15:42.120 body of the Antichrist is composed of impious men. That's what we have, John. We have an infiltration

00:15:48.880 in the Catholic Church. In Spain, they call this infiltration, the Spanish army, they call it the

00:15:55.700 fifth column. The fifth column, this is a term used in Spain in their military. The fifth column is when

00:16:05.700 you have people within your ranks that are shooting you in the back during war. We have a fifth column

00:16:13.580 in the Catholic Church right now. We have an infiltration. Jesus warned us about this in the Gospels. 0.62

00:16:20.760 You have weeds and wheat growing up alongside each other. He says, but don't pull the weeds out.

00:16:26.520 That's the work of the angels at the end of time. That's what we're living through right now.

00:16:33.400 We're living through the fact that the spirit of Judas lives within our church, within the clergy

00:16:40.500 and the laity. Amazing. Jesse, well, you are surely taking up the cause of the Brotherhood of Christ.

00:16:48.220 You are on the battlefield. And many of us can't be with you to confront Satan Khan, but we will be

00:16:55.540 with you in prayer. And Jesse Romero, thank you so much for being with us on this episode of the John

00:17:01.540 Hunter Weston Show. Let me just mention, we don't want anybody to come down here that's not from Phoenix.

00:17:05.620 We have a lot of great Catholics in Phoenix. Trust me, tens of thousands. I'm only putting this out

00:17:11.520 so that wherever you're at around the world, know this, that these guys aren't going to stop here.

00:17:18.520 They're coming to your city next. Hopefully we can give you a template. And even the prayers,

00:17:24.140 I'll have the prayers all on this landing page next Monday. What we're going to pray, what we're,

00:17:29.360 you're going to see everything, the protocol of what we're going to do, how to prepare for nine days

00:17:34.220 before going out to this protest. It's all going to be on the website in the event that they take

00:17:39.940 this to another city, to Dallas, you know, to Los Angeles. People will know, okay, this is what

00:17:46.120 they did in Phoenix, Arizona, the lay people. This is how you prepare for it. These are the prayers

00:17:51.560 that you pray when you're there. These are the do's and don'ts. And so all we're asking for is for

00:17:58.500 people around the world. Maybe go to mass that day, February 11th, 12th, 13th, go do a holy hour,

00:18:04.480 pray a rosary from your house. You know, everybody has a war room, a prayer room. Just remember your

00:18:09.820 brothers and sisters in Phoenix, Arizona, as we combat spiritually these dark forces from wherever

00:18:15.780 you're at around the world. Just join us in prayer, February 11th, 12th, and 13th. If you want to pray

00:18:21.660 along with us next Monday, I'll have John and many others put the landing page on their social media

00:18:29.360 so you can go and download the prayers that we'll actually be praying on that day. Thank you so very

00:18:33.540 much. God bless you. And to all the prayer warriors that will be joining you out there, Godspeed to all

00:18:38.840 of you. Thank you, John. And God bless you. We'll see you next time.

00:18:42.600 We have been warning everyone who would listen and attempting to build up alternative platforms

00:18:50.160 to continue to reach you. We have established ourselves on all sorts of platforms I'm going

00:18:56.000 to explain in a minute. But the most important thing to do is come direct to lifesitenews.com

00:19:01.520 because there we will always be. But we've also established ourselves on platforms like Parler

00:19:07.680 and MeWe and our videos can be found on Rumble as well. We would love to see each of you on those

00:19:14.420 platforms too, as they are not censoring or suppressing the truth that we are sharing every

00:19:19.520 single day. More than these alternative social media platforms, we highly encourage you to subscribe

00:19:25.980 to our email newsletter. We have really built up a large list of loyal readers on our email marketing

00:19:32.280 platform. And we have prepared several backup plans for, well, I want to say if, but it's really when

00:19:39.480 we are removed from our current platform as well. Additionally, I really encourage you, as I said

00:19:46.160 before, to make it a regular habit to go directly to lifesitenews.com. Make it your homepage. While all of

00:19:54.100 these different platforms are an excellent way to curate your news, going directly to our website means

00:20:00.080 that you will never encounter any censorship or sudden loss of LifeSite News reporting. Here's the

00:20:06.040 thing. We will never stop sharing the truth. We founded this organization with the mission to be

00:20:13.100 the life, family, and culture source for men and women who seek to know the truth. We have established

00:20:19.980 a track record of honest reports, and this will never stop, even with censorship happening around the

00:20:27.360 globe. Again, I'm encouraging you to join us on Parler, MeWe, Rumble, and on our email list. You can find

00:20:35.420 all the direct links in the description of this video. May God bless you and keep you, and we are so

00:20:42.000 thankful that you've chosen to follow and support LifeSite News. I'm John Henry Weston, co-founder and

00:20:48.200 editor-in-chief of LifeSite News.
