00:00:00.000 Imagine a revolution in the West where they burned Plato and Shakespeare and the Iliad
00:00:05.300 and the Aeneid and Odyssey and the church fathers and, of course, the gospel.
00:00:09.400 Imagine if you set all of the roots of Western philosophy on fire.
00:00:13.960 Jerusalem, Athens, and Rome erased.
00:00:17.220 That's what the CCP did in the Cultural Revolution.
00:00:19.400 And then they went from there to the one-child policy, destroying their posterity.
00:00:23.180 No one has cousins.
00:00:24.500 No one has aunts and uncles.
00:00:26.060 Culture thrives in a family.
00:00:27.780 And a family is not mom, dad, kid.
00:00:29.320 A family is mom, dad, kids, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, festivals, celebrations, feasts.
00:00:37.160 This is where culture thrives.
00:00:38.720 The first victim of the CCP is China.
00:00:44.020 The Olympic Games in China are unbelievable.
00:00:47.460 We're watching the Genocide Olympics. 0.94
00:00:49.860 And with us today is Jason Jones, whom you all know as a massive human rights activist,
00:00:54.480 who, yes, he comes at it first and foremost from a perspective of pro-life for protecting the babies.
00:01:00.740 Because, of course, his history is having lost his own child to abortion in an unbelievable way that most of you know.
00:01:07.860 But one of the things that he's also done is helped out so many people suffering human rights abuses across the world.
00:01:14.820 You know him for that.
00:01:15.860 You might also know him as a great filmmaker.
00:01:18.520 He's got a film out right now called Divided Hearts of America.
00:01:21.520 You can watch on Fox Station and anywhere you pick up your DVDs.
00:01:25.600 Stay tuned to speak with Jason Jones.
00:01:27.860 Let's begin, as we always do, with the sign of the cross.
00:01:49.040 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
00:01:53.220 Amen.
00:01:55.000 Jason Jones, welcome back to the program.
00:01:56.580 John Henry, you know, I miss you.
00:01:58.520 I feel like it's been a long time since I've seen you in person, so it's good to see you here on Zoom.
00:02:02.780 Awesome.
00:02:03.260 Good to see you, too, virtually, at least.
00:02:05.520 Virtually.
00:02:06.400 Tell us, if you will, what have you made of these Olympic Games?
00:02:11.640 I know you actually warned of this already more than a year ago, but tell us what your thoughts are right now.
00:02:18.360 It's a great scandal and an embarrassment to see transnational, American-based, American-founded corporations, NBC,
00:02:25.360 partnering with the CCP in this spectacle that is the Genocide Olympics. 0.59
00:02:29.800 But scandal means stumbling block.
00:02:32.760 And over two years ago, you know, the captive nations people, the Tibetans, the Hong Kongers, the Uyghur, 0.99
00:02:39.800 were really disheartened by this fact that these Olympics would be held in Beijing.
00:02:43.880 And I really was hopeful that we could get them moved, but that didn't happen.
00:02:50.260 And I think that might be God's grace, because this scandal has become a stepping stone.
00:02:55.760 We're standing on this stumbling block, and we're amplifying to the world the incredible abuses of the CCP.
00:03:02.420 And I really believe that when the history books are written, the Genocide Olympics will mark the beginning of the end of the CCP 0.96
00:03:11.440 and the beginning of a free China, the beginning of a free East Turkestan, the beginning of a free Hong Kong, the beginning of a free Tibet.
00:03:19.800 So I think we have an incredible opportunity here, because the veil has been ripped away.
00:03:25.680 And the world is seeing not only the abuse of nature of the CCP, but the neoliberal participation in these abuses.
00:03:33.740 You have an article on LifeSite News I want to direct everyone to,
00:03:37.000 which really exposes those who have funded and participated in these genocide games or Genocide Olympics over at LifeSite News.
00:03:47.380 Tell us a little bit about that. Give us a little snapshot.
00:03:49.100 Yeah, well, it's a little snarky. You know, it's an open letter to the woke of 2095.
00:03:54.320 And in it, I say, I know that you lack the courage in 2095, like the woke of today,
00:03:59.320 to stand up to the people in power who are abusing people today in your age.
00:04:03.720 But maybe you can do me a favor and look back to 2022 and help me cancel these names.
00:04:09.880 And then we list the names of all of the corporations and the presidents, the CEOs of these corporations.
00:04:16.620 I mean, I could read the list. It takes about 15 minutes. I do it on my podcast.
00:04:20.400 But you can also go to the LifeSite article and you can see the names of all of these corporations
00:04:26.260 or the people we know and maybe love, like Savannah Guthrie and Hoda and Al Roker, these broadcasters for NBC.
00:04:33.040 It's really disgraceful. And they shouldn't participate in this.
00:04:36.660 And NBC, I think, they've already realized what a catastrophe this is for the network and for their brand and for their hosts, not to mention the sponsors.
00:04:47.080 Now, it's happening to the athletes right now. There's a lot of news coming out of China about what's happening.
00:04:53.420 What have you seen and what do you make of it?
00:04:54.860 Yeah, there's a Belgian woman who's a member of the bobsled team.
00:04:59.440 And I think she initially tested positive for COVID, but they keep testing her.
00:05:04.520 She's negative now. They told her they were going to move her back to the Olympic Village.
00:05:08.380 They didn't. And now they've moved to another location where she's in solitary confinement for another seven days.
00:05:15.080 She made an Instagram where she broke down crying and she said she feels like she's being tortured.
00:05:20.080 And what's really sorrowful, this young woman is an out-and-about sponsor.
00:05:24.880 She's a proud out-and-about Olympian.
00:05:27.420 It means, I guess, she's in some way a member of the, quote, LGBTQ community.
00:05:32.440 I hope that they're out-and-about for her because I can tell you as a conservative Catholic, I'm going to be out-and-about and loud for her.
00:05:39.040 But to think that they're abusing our athletes, the people we put in Wheaties boxes, the people that sell shoes and sugar drinks, you know, the people we revere.
00:05:49.300 They're abusing them in front of the whole world.
00:05:52.280 And I have to ask myself, is it that the CCP does not even know how to act right for 16 days?
00:05:58.660 They don't even know what that means.
00:05:59.820 They can't treat people with decency for 16 days.
00:06:02.260 They can't even fake it.
00:06:03.460 Is that the problem?
00:06:05.060 Or do they not care?
00:06:06.600 Are they abusing our young men and women, our heroes, our Olympians, for the whole world to see on social media?
00:06:13.580 And they're so brazen that they can care less. 0.99
00:06:17.180 And they're like, look what we're doing to your people.
00:06:19.780 What are you going to do about it?
00:06:21.180 I don't know which one it is.
00:06:22.740 But either way, it's a catastrophe.
00:06:24.460 And it makes you think, if this is how they treat Olympians with the world paying attention, they pushed a broadcaster right away from the camera with the camera rolling.
00:06:33.260 If this is how they're treating broadcasters and athletes with the world's eyes gazing at them, one has to ponder what in the world is happening to the Chinese when the cameras aren't there. 0.57
00:06:45.980 What is happening to the Uyghur?
00:06:47.300 What is happening to the Tibetans?
00:06:48.360 Well, we know a million Tibetan children have been separated from their parents and sent off to re-education camps.
00:06:54.780 Three million ethnic Uyghur are in concentration camps throughout China.
00:07:00.300 The women are raped.
00:07:03.160 They're forced to have abortions or they're forced to have children with Han Chinese. 1.00
00:07:07.700 There's forced labor.
00:07:08.980 And, of course, there's organ harvesting.
00:07:11.920 And John Henry, people compare this to the Berlin Olympics in 1936.
00:07:16.000 That's not a proper comparison at all.
00:07:17.820 It's not a fair comparison.
00:07:19.940 You know, Hitler was a bad guy. 0.95
00:07:22.680 He wrote Mein Kampf.
00:07:23.400 He said some bad things.
00:07:24.940 His regime wasn't great.
00:07:26.000 But the Wansi Conference that laid out the Holocaust wasn't until 1943.
00:07:32.720 The invasion of Poland wasn't until 1939.
00:07:35.600 Kristallnacht was still two years away.
00:07:38.060 So the world really didn't see the horrors of Nazi Germany yet. 0.63
00:07:41.580 Those horrors were years away.
00:07:44.200 But in 1949, the CCP invaded Tibet and invaded East Turkestan.
00:07:49.000 1949, the Cultural Revolution was before we were born.
00:07:53.340 The one-child policy started in 1979.
00:07:57.100 And the escalation of ethnic cleansing in occupied East Turkestan has been running rampant for almost a decade now.
00:08:04.020 And the abuse of Hong Kong is happening before all of our very eyes.
00:08:08.260 You know, prominent Catholic laymen like Jimmy Lai have been arrested.
00:08:12.020 Bishop Joseph Y. Zhu has been disappeared.
00:08:15.000 His seminarians and his priests have been disappeared.
00:08:17.560 This is happening.
00:08:18.880 This has already happened.
00:08:20.640 This isn't in the future.
00:08:21.680 So this is the I think this is a great grave scandal.
00:08:26.200 I don't see how the Olympics will recover from this because it's damaging to their brand.
00:08:31.580 But I'm willing to sacrifice the Olympics to rip back the veil for the world to see the truth about the CCP.
00:08:38.460 One of the main actors in this sort of drama unfolding has been the mainstream media.
00:08:45.260 The failure of the mainstream media to report and also of politicians to speak out against what's happening.
00:08:53.000 These are evident human rights abuses.
00:08:55.600 They are being hidden by much of the mainstream media and by politicians who continue to praise China.
00:09:00.980 Some of them just out loud, blatantly not even caring about what they're doing.
00:09:05.800 Everything is becoming crystal clear, isn't it?
00:09:07.680 The same mainstream media outlets that are praising China, praising the CCP, are calling the salt of the earth truckers in Canada fascists.
00:09:19.060 The same people.
00:09:21.300 This is really absolutely unbelievable.
00:09:24.120 But we're seeing now that as we step back, the CCP and the neoliberal elites and the neoliberal establishment, they have an alliance.
00:09:34.600 And so we need to unite together with the victims of these abuses and stand for them.
00:09:39.520 You know, it's really sorrowful.
00:09:42.100 I say if we were to take a blue light and run it through our house and even the computer that I'm looking at you, the camera that I'm looking through you at, I'm afraid that I would see the blood of Uyghur all over my house. 1.00
00:09:55.100 You know, poetically speaking, if I were to take a blue light through my house, we would see the blood of the Uyghur on our clothes. 1.00
00:10:01.040 We would see the blood of Han Chinese and Tibetans. 1.00
00:10:03.920 We would see the victims of the blood of the victims of the CCP on all over our house.
00:10:10.600 Well, how did these products get here?
00:10:13.660 Well, companies founded in the United States, Canada and the Western world, transnational corporations are in partnership.
00:10:20.140 And then our investment funds, our retirement funds have blood on every dollar.
00:10:25.240 This is really sorrowful.
00:10:26.680 So we need to disengage from any company that partners with the CCP, any company that partners with the exploitation of the Chinese, the exploitation and the exploitation of the captive nations.
00:10:38.900 We know really we're at a point to free China's to free the world. 0.99
00:10:42.160 When we partner with the cost of those cheap electronics in those big box stores is the enslavement of your children and your grandchildren and the enslavement of the Chinese and the captive nations today. 1.00
00:10:56.320 One of the aspects that is also very despicable that actually is being trying to foist on the rest of the planet as well, but is the persecution of all sorts of religious groups in China. 0.74
00:11:09.100 You've had some personal connection with that.
00:11:13.360 What's your stance on what's going on there and what have you seen?
00:11:16.380 My relationship with the persecuted groups of China goes back to when I was a young student at the University of Hawaii in the 90s.
00:11:23.560 You know, as a college student, I was chairman of the Pro-Life Student Union and I was chairman of the College Republicans.
00:11:28.780 And, you know, that's an uphill battle fighting for life as a Republican, as a conservative in any college campus.
00:11:35.420 And but what I discovered was that we really had a constituency and we had a presence and a voice on campus.
00:11:42.480 And so it was in the 90s when I went to other groups fighting for human rights like Chinese dissidents that were on campus and we organized events together.
00:11:51.920 We organized an event for the freeing of Wei Zhenxing two weeks before Zemin came to the East West Center and two weeks after he left, after our protest, Wei Zhenxing was was freed.
00:12:03.140 But it was then where I realized that the pro-life movement is is the largest, most influential and powerful social movement in the world, most tightly knit together.
00:12:14.000 It's something people don't understand. And LifeSite News is at the hub of that.
00:12:17.400 But I knew this in college. And so I wanted to lend our influence and our voice to liken commensurate issues.
00:12:24.620 And I'm not a believer in this seamless garment that says that submerges the child in the womb in an ocean of prudential issues.
00:12:33.040 But what I will say is there are issues like in commensurate to abortion.
00:12:36.640 And I think genocide, democide and total war are like in commensurate and their denial of the fundamental beauty and dignity of the human person.
00:12:45.560 And so going back to college, this was something that was very important to me.
00:12:48.440 In fact, my organization, Hero, our very first initiative was to train the Chinese on how to use corruption, how to corrupt government officials to subvert the one child policy. 1.00
00:13:00.460 And this is going back now over 20 years. It is the suppression of religious freedom.
00:13:05.380 It's not just religious freedom. You know, there are communities in China that just acknowledge a transcendence.
00:13:11.500 Anything that transcends the state, they rightfully see as their enemy because their horizon is finite.
00:13:18.920 And that's why even in the West, you know, Heidegger, something Heidegger understood was that Nietzsche wanted to kill Jesus Christ, kill God.
00:13:29.040 But that wasn't enough, that one had to kill Plato. Heidegger wanted to, you know, he became a Nazi.
00:13:33.780 And he wanted to kill Plato because the idea of logos, the idea of transcendence was repugnant to that illiberal man.
00:13:40.340 And so that's what we see in China. Any religion, any philosophy, anything, Taoism, the Falun Gong, anything that points to transcendence is a threat to the CCP.
00:13:53.580 And so how sorrowful. They're really trapped in a very diminished world, a very small world.
00:13:59.140 And so it's very important. I, you know, my wife is Chinese and that's her, you know, she's a first generation American.
00:14:07.460 And I want to liberate China from the CCP. The CCP says that religion is a threat to Chinese culture.
00:14:15.400 And they want to make sure that everything comports to Chinese culture.
00:14:19.860 No, they mean to the will of the party, which the party is animated by a perversion of Western ideology.
00:14:24.460 It was the CCP that waged a cultural revolution that ripped up the very roots of Chinese culture.
00:14:31.720 Imagine a revolution in the West. I guess Heidegger, you know, would have liked this.
00:14:37.120 But imagine a revolution in the West where they burned Plato and Shakespeare and the Iliad and the Aeneid and Odyssey and the Church Fathers and, of course, the Gospel. 0.57
00:14:45.940 Imagine if you set all of the roots of Western philosophy on fire. Jerusalem, Athens, and Rome erased.
00:14:54.440 That's what the CCP did in the cultural revolution. And then they went from there to the one-child policy, destroying their posterity.
00:15:00.380 No one has cousins. No one has aunts and uncles. Culture thrives in a family.
00:15:05.000 And a family is not mom, dad, kid. A family is mom, dad, kids, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, festivals, celebrations, feasts.
00:15:13.920 This is where culture thrives. The first victim of the CCP is China.
00:15:20.060 Now, what do you make of China's plan today?
00:15:24.320 Basically, it seems like the exporting of the social credit system, and is China sort of behind the global control?
00:15:34.280 We've seen the evidence that, you know, China was responsible for the so-called COVID-19 virus coming out of the lab in China. 0.89
00:15:44.700 But what do you make of what's going on right now and its relationship to China and the move of the whole World Economic Forum,
00:15:52.580 the Great Reset pushers to going toward that Chinese-style social credit system?
00:15:57.220 Yeah, we'll own no property, and we'll love it. We'll be eating cricket meat.
00:16:00.940 And notice they always say, you will own no property, not we. You will own no property.
00:16:05.020 You will be eating cricket meat. Cricket meat. What is cricket meat? I don't know. You'll be happy.
00:16:10.200 You know, when I was a young college Republican, I was a market fundamentalist.
00:16:13.460 And I remember campaigning for permanent most favored nation status for China.
00:16:17.400 I didn't know what the heck I was doing. I remember being so happy.
00:16:20.520 You know, we got permanent MFN for China. Why?
00:16:23.220 Because we were told, China's going to become like us. Yay. And we're going to have a free world, you know?
00:16:29.400 Kumbaya, it's going to be wonderful. It's going to be like, you know, Disney's It's a Small World.
00:16:33.740 And there'll be Panera Breads in every town. Well, guess what? That didn't work. It didn't happen.
00:16:38.980 We've become like China. This social credit system, we already have it. 0.79
00:16:43.540 We have cancel culture, and no one's left.
00:16:46.520 You know, you look at what they're doing to Joe Rogan right now.
00:16:48.640 Joe Rogan called himself a socialist a few years ago, voted for Bernie Sanders.
00:16:54.500 No one thinks he's a racist. No one looks at that guy and goes, he's unhealthy.
00:16:59.820 No one thinks he has ill intent. People may disagree with him.
00:17:03.420 Okay. They dox his past. They look into his past, and they seek to destroy him.
00:17:08.260 Whoopi Goldberg. No one thinks Whoopi Goldberg's an anti-Semite, but they just, it's this will to destroy. 0.63
00:17:13.860 And then they look in their past. Cancel culture is the culture of death.
00:17:19.180 We as pro-life people should never engage in cancel culture.
00:17:22.440 That doesn't mean we shouldn't be prudent and thoughtful, and, you know, but what it means is exactly that.
00:17:27.780 We should be prudent and thoughtful. We should look to people's intent and actions and allow people to make mistakes and misspeak or grow as humans and not seek to destroy them.
00:17:35.720 In the Cultural Revolution in China, they would bring a 19-year-old girl on stage in her small village.
00:17:41.040 They would have a stage. They would bring her on stage, and they would laugh at her, right?
00:17:44.660 And they would say, she, you know, peed in class when she was in first grade.
00:17:49.480 This is something that happened to a friend of mine. She told me.
00:17:51.980 They said they brought her on stage. They made fun of her for, you know, losing control of her bladder in first grade because she was scared and whatnot.
00:17:57.540 I don't know. They said, oh, you were zit-faced as a junior high student. You kissed this boy in high school, and they would go through everything.
00:18:05.040 And your grandfather was this kind of person. Not only you, your father, your grandfather, they would ridicule you on stage in your little village.
00:18:12.440 Well, now we have social media. Not only are people allowed to ridicule and attack and dox and destroy,
00:18:18.640 then if you want to speak out against anything that goes against their orthodoxy, you are silenced.
00:18:24.500 You are silenced. So we're seeing the cancel culture. We have become like China. 0.98
00:18:30.780 We cannot allow ourselves as human beings to conform to this.
00:18:35.040 We shall not conform to this. We will not engage in the cancel culture. 1.00
00:18:38.860 We will defend the vulnerable, and we will promote the transcendent moral order.
00:18:44.780 We will celebrate the dignity of the human person. And that's the key, right?
00:18:48.420 And Catholic social teaching, true Catholic social teaching, not a lot of what masquerades presents itself as Catholic social teaching,
00:18:57.440 but really standing with those who've been outcast, celebrating the dignity of the human person, pointing to the transcendent moral truth.
00:19:05.860 This is the foundation of our civilization that was birthed with the incarnation of the second person of the Trinity.
00:19:14.900 Our civilization flowered from a new understanding of human dignity.
00:19:19.880 And the CCP, of course, would love to take an axe to that.
00:19:23.280 I have to ask you this one last thing, and it pains me to ask it, but the Pope just tweeted wonderfully about the Olympic Games.
00:19:34.520 No condemnation of China's genocide. 0.91
00:19:37.760 No condemnation of the persecution Catholics are undergoing in China.
00:19:43.440 The false church that they're setting up.
00:19:46.140 Nothing.
00:19:46.560 As a Catholic, what do you make of that, and what do you say to it?
00:19:51.700 It's the age of the laity.
00:19:52.820 Okay, this is what I get from this, that it's the age of the laity right there.
00:19:56.460 I have to say I'm greatly, I'm frustrated with this.
00:19:59.900 But, you know, when I was in Iraq, miles from ISIS, traveling with the Peshmerga, documenting the brutality of the ISIS brutality to the ancient Christian communities, the first century Christian church.
00:20:11.480 I had a priest with tears in his eyes ask me, why is the Pope beaming images of wild animals on the St. Peter's Basilica, that globalist-funded charade at the Vatican?
00:20:23.500 Why is he beaming wild animals and dangerous species onto the walls of the Vatican?
00:20:27.660 Can't he beam images of my children that have been killed and are being raped by ISIS?
00:20:31.420 And he had tears in his eyes.
00:20:32.440 And he said, where's the Western church?
00:20:33.960 Of course, this was a priest whose language was Aramaic, the language of Christ.
00:20:38.080 He lived in a Christian community that had been there since that community was planted by St. Thomas.
00:20:43.680 We didn't hear a single word from Pope Francis.
00:20:46.340 Pope Francis has never publicly uttered the word Uyghur once.
00:20:50.340 He has never uttered the word Uyghur once.
00:20:53.340 It's very confusing.
00:20:54.980 It becomes less confusing when you know that Cardinal McCarrick, the most blackmailable man in the history of disgraced, former disgraced Cardinal McCarrick, 0.66
00:21:02.260 the most blackmailable man in the history of the planet Earth, goes to China, the regime that loves to blackmail people. 1.00
00:21:08.080 To broker a secret deal.
00:21:10.100 Who knows what the terms of the deals were?
00:21:11.860 We've all heard large, very large numbers in the billions of cash transfers to the Vatican.
00:21:16.480 I don't know if that's true.
00:21:17.900 I don't know if that's not true.
00:21:18.940 What I know is true is the Pope has been silent on not only the abuse of the Uyghur and the other, 1.00
00:21:27.300 but of our own co-religionists, of his own bishop.
00:21:30.920 A bishop approved, Bishop Joseph Zhang Waiju was a bishop approved by the church.
00:21:36.380 You have a prominent Catholic layman who, his activism was animated by the gospel of Jesus Christ and Jimmy Lai, and silence on that.
00:21:46.580 The Catholic anthropologist, Rene Girard, in a lecture that made it into his last book, I See Satan Fall Like Lightning.
00:21:54.100 You know, when Peter was in the crowd, he was swept away by the crowd.
00:21:58.900 Peter, the first Pope, conformed to the spirit of the crowd and denied Christ.
00:22:04.820 He said, imagine if, what if, he said, I'm not saying it is a prophecy,
00:22:10.340 but what if that is a prophecy of a Pope, of a future Pope,
00:22:15.340 that is swept away by the spirit of the age and denies Christ?
00:22:18.800 Well, we know that when you look at the Uyghur in a concentration camp, you're looking at the face of Christ. 0.98
00:22:23.840 When you serve him, you're serving Christ.
00:22:26.200 When you turn your back on the Uyghur to stand with NBC, Nike, Google, Airbnb, 0.99
00:22:35.020 all these big brands and corporations that are sponsoring, and the CCP,
00:22:38.820 when you stand with them against the Uyghur, I feel like you've been swept away by the crowd. 1.00
00:22:44.240 What is our vocation in the world?
00:22:45.620 If anything, as Christians, it's never let anyone be abandoned, never let anyone be alone.
00:22:51.740 You know, my organization thinks, I want to bring this up.
00:22:54.920 I will cry to tell you how grateful I am for LifeSite News, that you introduced us.
00:23:00.620 We didn't solicit you.
00:23:02.240 You solicited us to introduce my organization, the Vulnerable People Project, to your donors.
00:23:07.700 Who does that?
00:23:08.440 I don't know.
00:23:09.120 You did it.
00:23:09.680 And because of you, you know, probably 100,000 people were saved because of LifeSite News, putting us up on LifeFunder.
00:23:18.360 And some of the people you saved that came to us were LGBTQ.
00:23:23.460 They worked for Western aid organizations, and the Taliban was hunting them.
00:23:27.280 They were abandoned by the leftist organizations they worked for to death.
00:23:31.240 They came to us.
00:23:32.680 We saved them because they were human beings.
00:23:35.720 We rescued Muslims, Christians, and, you know, the last Jew in Kabul, we helped rescue.
00:23:43.120 All religions, we didn't ask. 0.98
00:23:45.340 All we did is make sure through a serious vetting process that they weren't dangerous Islamists. 0.87
00:23:50.460 If they were truly vulnerable minorities, we didn't look. 0.80
00:23:54.020 We helped a lot of Catholics, thanks to LifeSite News and our donors.
00:23:57.500 But that is what the gospel is.
00:23:59.160 It seems to be the most easy thing.
00:24:01.320 It doesn't seem to be a hard thing.
00:24:03.720 What's hard is if you cut me off in traffic, me not, you know, trying to run you off the road, challenge you a fistfight.
00:24:08.600 That's hard for me.
00:24:09.460 But it seems to be quite simple to know that there are children in Afghanistan hiding, like Anne Frank, from the Taliban in a cold attic, living off of a little bit of food. 0.58
00:24:23.340 It's easy, I would think, to say I'm not going to support the Beijing Olympics as long as there are 3 million people in concentration camps or Tibetan children are being kidnapped from their family in the hundreds of thousands.
00:24:34.460 This doesn't seem to be hard.
00:24:36.640 Why is the Holy Father not doing this?
00:24:38.260 I don't know, but I do know this.
00:24:39.960 It's the age of the, is a lay Catholic baptized, you know, is a Christian with that grace.
00:24:46.880 This is something else Rene Girard said.
00:24:49.300 He said, you know, I think the apocalypse may come.
00:24:51.640 He called people who feigned concern for the vulnerable victimists.
00:24:55.520 People who feigned concern for the vulnerable for wealth, power, and prestige victimists.
00:25:00.020 That sounds like some people I know, prominent people in the Catholic Church.
00:25:03.720 He said, when the last Christian becomes a victimist, that's when the apocalypse will come, when there is no one left to stand with those who have been abandoned. 0.96
00:25:13.840 I like that.
00:25:14.800 So my prayer has always been, Lord, let me be the last, the last to the end.
00:25:20.660 What a privilege it would be.
00:25:22.280 Stephen was the first martyr.
00:25:23.420 I'll be the last, you know?
00:25:27.920 That's what we should all strive to be.
00:25:29.960 I pray for the grace that let the world abandon Whoopi Goldberg.
00:25:33.800 I'll be with you, Whoopi.
00:25:35.100 Let the world abandon this LGBTQ bobsled girl in China. 1.00
00:25:41.720 I'll be with you.
00:25:42.560 The Muslim Uyghur, I'll be with you. 0.99
00:25:44.640 The child in the womb, in the womb of a poor teenager in Gary, Indiana, I'll be with you.
00:25:50.400 That's what all of us should pray.
00:25:51.780 Like, truckers in Ottawa, let the world lie about you and call you Nazis and call me names for supporting you.
00:25:58.060 Whatever.
00:25:58.880 I'll be with you.
00:25:59.880 Nick Sandman, I'll be with you.
00:26:01.880 This is what we should all pray for.
00:26:03.740 The grace to never stand with those who have been outcast. 1.00
00:26:07.140 And if Gerard is right about his first prophecy or second, I don't know.
00:26:12.320 But I know that there were guides to me.
00:26:15.100 When I read that, I said, may I never abandon the vulnerable.
00:26:17.780 May I be the last.
00:26:19.400 Be with them till the end.
00:26:20.460 And there's nothing more privileged than that.
00:26:23.340 When you think about at the cross, who is with their Lord at the cross?
00:26:26.680 So when everyone leaves, if you have God's grace to stay and you look around, you're at that pro-life, you're praying outside that abortion clinic and you look around, who's next to you?
00:26:39.060 The most beautiful people in the world.
00:26:41.040 If you stand with the truckers and you go bring them food and fuel in Ottawa and you look around, who's around you?
00:26:47.200 The most beautiful people in the world.
00:26:48.980 When you rescue Afghans and I get to greet them at the airport and meet them with their babies.
00:26:54.160 Who am I meeting?
00:26:54.840 The most beautiful people in the world.
00:26:56.880 So really, I think maybe after 30 years of doing this, I've been doing it too long to know.
00:27:01.060 There's nothing to be afraid of.
00:27:02.520 And there's really, it's just a beautiful privilege and grace.
00:27:05.820 And LifeSite News, and I said this when I had the honor of speaking for one of your events in Washington, D.C.
00:27:11.060 I meant it then, and I mean it even more so now.
00:27:14.420 You are the most important apostolate in the world.
00:27:17.080 I don't want you to get a big head, John Henry, or your staff there behind the camera.
00:27:21.860 But I really do believe, I do believe that.
00:27:24.600 I'm not exaggerating.
00:27:26.760 I believe that you are the most important apostolate in the world.
00:27:29.620 And you always surprise me, you know, with your consistency.
00:27:32.880 An authentic, the fake seamless garment has robbed us of the truth that there is a consistent ethic of life.
00:27:42.260 And you demonstrated at LifeSite News when you got a helicopter to go film those truckers.
00:27:48.600 When you call me unsolicited and say, hey, we see what you're doing in Afghanistan.
00:27:53.040 Look at what we're doing for you.
00:27:54.340 Can you check this out and see if we can, can we raise money for you guys?
00:27:58.520 So that is an authentic, consistent ethic.
00:28:00.840 And that's what we need as Catholics, to live out an authentic, consistent ethic,
00:28:06.000 to stand with all of the vulnerable when they're vulnerable and when there's a cost.
00:28:10.860 And LifeSite News does that.
00:28:12.140 And I pray that God continues to bless your ministry, your apostolate, and everyone who works for you.
00:28:17.100 Thank you, Jason.
00:28:17.960 It has been for us and for our donors who support you an awesome privilege.
00:28:22.880 We pray for you and so proud of you in your fight for life, for freedom.
00:28:30.840 For faith and for family.
00:28:33.040 May God bless you, Jason.
00:28:34.180 Thank you.
00:28:34.940 And God bless all of you.
00:28:36.420 We'll see you next time on The John Henry Weston Show.
00:28:38.700 We have been warning everyone who would listen and attempting to build up alternative platforms
00:28:46.220 to continue to reach you.
00:28:48.800 We have established ourselves on all sorts of platforms I'm going to explain in a minute.
00:28:52.840 But the most important thing to do is come direct to LifeSiteNews.com because there we will always be.
00:29:00.480 But we've also established ourselves on platforms like Parler and MeWe,
00:29:04.700 and our videos can be found on Rumble as well.
00:29:07.980 We would love to see each of you on those platforms too,
00:29:11.440 as they are not censoring or suppressing the truth that we are sharing every single day.
00:29:16.360 More than these alternative social media platforms,
00:29:20.000 we highly encourage you to subscribe to our email newsletter.
00:29:23.820 We have really built up a large list of loyal readers on our email marketing platform,
00:29:28.920 and we have prepared several backup plans for,
00:29:32.920 well, I want to say if, but it's really when,
00:29:35.920 we are removed from our current platform as well.
00:29:38.620 Additionally, I really encourage you, as I said before,
00:29:42.860 to make it a regular habit to go directly to LifeSiteNews.com.
00:29:46.920 Make it your homepage.
00:29:48.960 While all of these different platforms are an excellent way to curate your news,
00:29:54.100 going directly to our website means that you will never encounter any censorship
00:29:58.500 or sudden loss of LifeSite News reporting.
00:30:01.520 Here's the thing.
00:30:02.960 We will never stop sharing the truth.
00:30:05.840 We founded this organization with the mission to be the life, family, and culture source
00:30:11.520 for men and women who seek to know the truth.
00:30:14.980 We have established a track record of honest reports,
00:30:18.500 and this will never stop,
00:30:20.380 even with censorship happening around the globe.
00:30:24.280 Again, I'm encouraging you to join us on Parler, MeWe, Rumble, and on our email list.
00:30:30.340 You can find all the direct links in the description of this video.
00:30:34.960 May God bless you and keep you,
00:30:37.520 and we are so thankful that you've chosen to follow and support LifeSite News.
00:30:42.240 I'm John Henry Weston, co-founder and editor-in-chief of LifeSite News.
