00:03:24.440 In the news, we see massive demonstrations, but also just an unbelievable crush.

00:03:32.600 Well, in Victoria is where I am, so I can give you the most updates there.
00:03:36.960 We were in a really harsh lockdown for the last two months.
00:03:40.640 And of course, overall, Victoria has been called the most lockdown state in the world.
00:03:45.900 So, we've gone through a lot here.
00:03:47.880 Just recently, things have opened up more or less.
00:03:50.320 Well, only for the vaccinated, of course.
00:03:52.460 So, there's a complete apartheid at the moment.
00:03:54.540 So, I may be vaccinated, but if I'm not willing to show my certificate, I can't go to the gym, cafes.
00:04:03.340 I actually literally cannot do anything except for go to real estate viewings and go grocery shopping.

00:04:11.540 Also, our members of parliament cannot go to parliament without showing their papers as well.
00:04:16.380 So, it's pretty intense here on that front.

00:04:23.420 And religious exemptions don't exist here in Australia because we do not have a bill of rights here.

00:04:33.780 The court systems have declared that we don't have a bill of rights, so it's fine to mandate injections.

00:04:50.620 But because there has been a high vaccination rate, of course, because of coercion, there has been a sense of a false sense of freedom given to at least Victorians anyway.

00:05:05.600 But there's a new bill going through parliament in Victoria.
00:05:09.040 It's called the Permanent Pandemic Legislation.
00:05:11.860 It's as bad as it sounds.
00:05:13.660 Basically, the state of emergency is what enables the government here to have all these restrictions, right?
00:05:19.720 And it ends on 15th of December and they can't actually, you know, prolong it in any way.
00:05:26.500 So, they have to come up with a new legislation and that's what this is.
00:05:30.220 There has been massive pushback from 60 QCs, which is like higher than a barrister, really high lawyers in Australia.
00:05:39.660 60 QCs have signed an open letter saying they don't like the bill at all.
00:05:44.340 We've had the Ombudsman, which is an independent sort of oversight organisation.
00:05:50.480 We've had other lawyers.
00:05:51.920 We've had, you know, just tons of pushback on this bill.
00:05:55.980 And then on top of that, for the last week, Victorians have been sleeping at parliament, first ever in history.
00:06:02.620 You know, it's been beautiful to see the community coming together.
00:06:05.180 But also, last Saturday, there was a protest of 130,000 people.
00:06:09.500 And just keep in mind that Victoria only has 6 million, you know, populations.
00:06:14.500 So, that's a lot.
00:06:15.920 And some experts say for every one person at a protest, there's 10 at home that agree with them.
00:06:20.300 So, if that's the case, that's over one-sixth of Victorians disagree with this bill.
00:06:25.600 And it's really great because it's bringing left, right, black, white, Catholic, Christian, Muslim.
00:06:30.840 It's bringing everyone together, this bill.
00:06:33.040 So, I find that a really positive thing.

00:06:35.640 In terms of what is going on in Australia, give us some of the details as to what this permanent emergency legislation would actually do.
00:06:46.840 For me personally, I would be in a lot of trouble because anyone can be detained for up to two years based on their characteristics, attributes and circumstances.

00:07:00.280 And there's no definition as to what that means and who decides what is good or bad in terms of those characteristics.
00:07:08.500 So, basically, it seems like it gives the Premier Daniel Andrews the ability to imprison anyone based on their actions.
00:07:16.180 So, anyone that has gotten a COVID fine before would probably be on that list and could be taken to prison anytime they want.

00:07:28.140 So, over a two-year period, who knows what else could come out that they want to test and inject you with.
00:07:34.180 And there's also no punishment for police if they enter your house unlawfully, if they don't have the right documents, if they don't have search warrants.

00:08:17.920 But what I find really terrible about this is that Daniel Andrews, who has proven to take every legislation to the utmost strength that he possibly can,

00:08:36.400 But the fact that there's not even that oversight with this bill, if there's a cough in Iceland,
00:08:41.680 Daniel Andrews could say that Victoria is in a potential pandemic and they need to shut down.
00:08:47.340 He could suspend elections because he could say that it's a public health risk to go out and vote.
00:08:52.040 He could literally do whatever he wants based on these bills, based on this bill.

00:08:59.300 But the great thing is, and I'll just finish on this, on this point, is that I actually think that this is going to be the undoing of Daniel Andrews

00:09:10.140 You know, we've been trying to tell people for two years that this man is wanting to be a dictator and everyone thought we were crazy.

00:09:49.800 And if I was to in any way incite an event like that, because there's still a gathering limit of 30 people with COVID restrictions.
00:09:58.340 So, I can't go, but I'm watching the live streams all the time.
00:10:01.100 And basically, within two hours of people being there, there was just a group of five or six people.

00:10:08.300 And then it just kind of grew from there.
00:10:10.220 People have been bringing barbecues, pianos, music, drums, light shows.

00:10:30.220 And instead of, I'm going a tiny bit off topic, but instead of calling this group anti-vax or these sorts of things,
00:10:37.840 it seems like even the mainstream media can see that this bill is a problem for everyone.

00:10:43.480 But the, and I will just say quickly that these protests have caused a lot of chaos within the Parliament
00:10:49.380 because we've never seen anything like this before.
00:10:51.540 And it's a very powerful message when the community comes together with hot soup and sandwiches and love and community.
00:10:59.560 It is, even if there was just 100 people there, it's a really strong message.
00:11:03.780 All the cars that drive past are honking and tooting.
00:11:06.560 Like 80% of all the cars driving past seem to be in agreeance with this group.
00:11:11.720 So, it's causing some sort of ripple effect that I can't really put into words.
00:11:16.380 But also, what's come with that is some of the media have started to call people like that terrorists,
00:11:22.840 terrorists and extremists and radicals because one person came with like a makeshift noose.
00:11:30.960 And because, you know, Nuremberg trials and treason, things like that.
00:11:36.020 But the mainstream media have focused on that to try and discredit the entire movement.
00:11:40.360 But there's been positivity as well.
00:11:42.180 But yeah, it's ramping up from anti-vax to terrorists.

00:11:56.620 Yeah, so I was charged with two counts of incitement, inciting people to break the COVID restrictions,
00:12:03.120 which, you know, shouldn't even be a potential criminal charge.
00:12:08.100 But somehow, they've found a way to criminalize influence when it comes to anti-COVID narrative.
00:12:14.220 So, I'm not allowed to incite people to break the Cho directions as part of my bail.
00:12:20.860 Luckily, that's all my bail conditions were.
00:12:23.720 As you may know, they tried to shut me down completely, my opinion.
00:12:29.300 And also, they tried to give me a curfew from 7pm to 6am every single day.
00:12:35.280 But of course, I spent 22 days in prison, appealed those bail conditions.
00:12:39.080 And now, my bail conditions are pretty minimal.
00:12:41.460 But they do stop me from going to these protests.
00:12:44.260 Although, there is a bit of leeway.
00:12:45.880 Some people say I could probably go.
00:12:47.540 But I don't want to fall into their trap.

00:12:52.320 So, there's still a 30-person limit based on the COVID restrictions.

00:13:48.940 We've been in lockdown for so long that going to these protests is like the, it's like the reward for all the hard work.

00:15:55.340 Well, in Australia, we have been trying the peaceful diplomatic negotiation for over two years now and around two years.

00:16:10.500 You know, people are doing things they don't feel comfortable with.
00:16:14.060 And in that respect, I feel like a little bit like we failed.

00:16:36.880 However, the momentum and the exposure that it gets the truth of what we're going through, it's kind of invaluable to know where that will end up.
00:16:45.460 Maybe someone very influential in Australian politics will see a group of 300 Americans at a random Australian embassy with signs in support of Australia and even call our prime minister and say, hey, what's going on in your country?

00:17:02.640 And also, I cannot organise events in Australia because I will go back to prison if I do that.
00:17:10.980 So, I thought, well, you know what, thanks to your imprisonment, you've given me an international profile, so I'm going to try that.
00:17:16.260 So, you know, I'm also hoping that the networking that I've been able to do during this SOS campaign will be able to create some sort of secure communication and we'll have a worldwide communication channel for all the leaders and we can organise things for each other.
00:17:33.060 Now, the other thing I'm very understanding of is that other countries are going through very similar things to Australia, but what I will say is that we're about two months ahead of most people with the mandates and the segregation and the loss of human rights is really obvious that our constitution is lacking a lot of oomph in that area.
00:17:54.240 So, I would say to the world that I understand that we're all going through problems, but Australia is the tip of the spear.
00:17:59.680 A lot of people have said that and the reason for that is that we're an island, we're segregated, we can't really run away and we're just a nice folk.
00:18:08.620 So, we were pretty easy to do this test on and so what we're going through is coming to you if we can't stop it here.
00:18:16.800 So, that is why I would ask for any pressure, economic, political, anyone you know high up in politics, in influence, even just rich people who buy and sell things in Australia.
