00:00:00.000 Remember that pagan statue of Mother Earth in the Vatican Gardens before which a group of people prostrated themselves while the Pope and the Curia Cardinals looked on?
00:00:09.780 Well, that same pagan idol was in St. Peter's Basilica, as you will see in this video, and the Pope and Cardinals were actually praying in front of it.
00:00:19.800 Beyond that, the statue is now in a central church just down the street from St. Peter's, and it's even worse than you think.
00:00:27.620 That's what we're discussing on today's special episode of The John Henry Weston Show. Stay tuned.
00:00:32.560 Let's begin as we always do with the sign of the cross.
00:00:57.900 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
00:01:03.140 First off, there is still no official explanation of the Vatican Garden pagan ceremony with the full prostration and female priestess leading the ceremony.
00:01:11.840 We've asked the Holy See press office about it, and we're still waiting for an explanation.
00:01:16.740 That reply from the bishop at the First Synod press conference, who said, well, it might have been Mother Earth or maybe a statue of the Virgin Mary.
00:01:24.880 Remember, it was a nude statue, by the way. It just didn't cut it.
00:01:28.180 So beyond that, the pagan statue was processed into St. Peter's Basilica on a kind of a boat, with a circle of chanting and dancing people surrounding it when it landed there on the floor of the basilica.
00:01:42.460 And you can view the cardinals joining in with the chanting and dancing inside St. Peter's basilica itself.
00:01:49.520 You'll also see in this photo Pope Francis and various cardinals also offering prayers before it.
00:01:55.540 Thanks to the footage shot by LifeSite's videographer Jim Hale in Rome for the Synod, we can show you the idol of this Mother Earth is now stationed in the Santa Maria in Transpontina Church,
00:02:10.260 which is just down the street from the main road to the Vatican, Via della Conciliazione.
00:02:16.040 Jim tells me that the beautiful church has been sort of transformed into like a trade show or exhibit hall of sorts for globalist eco-socialism,
00:02:25.820 with most of the side altars in the beautiful church taken up with such displays.
00:02:30.700 Along with the pagan idol of Mother Earth in the church, you'll find this very disturbing poster of a topless indigenous woman with a baby over one shoulder while she breastfeeds what appears to be a live weasel. 0.98
00:02:47.480 This is insane.
00:02:49.860 This is in a church.
00:02:52.260 This is syncretism.
00:02:53.780 It's why it feels like there's a false church being set up.
00:02:57.820 The American grandson of an indigenous ex-shaman was appalled when he saw a video of the Amazonian religious ceremony that took place in the Vatican Gardens last week.
00:03:10.480 His name is Rex Crisanto Delson, and he told LifeSite News, and I quote,
00:03:15.660 I saw this ceremony that was performed in the Vatican Garden, and I couldn't believe my eyes, he said.
00:03:22.640 There were idols, and even a Franciscan participated.
00:03:25.640 He said,
00:03:27.800 I later learned that an Amazon tribal leader confirmed it was purely pagan.
00:03:32.820 Did the Catholics who participated and supported such a vile act not know it was pagan? 0.99
00:03:38.520 He asked.
00:03:40.100 Delson said that even if they didn't know then, they should know now.
00:03:44.340 He said, and I quote,
00:03:45.540 There's no excuse from here on out to claim they didn't know that they were violating the first commandment.
00:03:52.580 And he quoted from Psalm 95.5 in saying that all gods of the Gentiles are devils.
00:04:00.680 LifeSite reporter Dr. Micah Hickson, who has done in-depth research on the Amazon Synod and its origins,
00:04:07.200 has found that the first appearance of the Earth Mother Idol, now being hailed around the Vatican,
00:04:13.260 was in a 2017 brochure of one of the main coordinating groups of the Synod called Repom.
00:04:21.420 Here, you can see it for yourself, this famous idol in the 2017 brochure of Repom.
00:04:29.200 The document is entitled Meeting Minutes, Church with an Amazonian and Indigenous Face,
00:04:35.660 and in it you will read Syncretism in Full, the strange combination of true and false religion.
00:04:42.180 One speaker is quoted. Her name is Ernestina Lopez, and she speaks of the essential aspects of Indigenous theology.
00:04:51.420 And she says, and I quote,
00:04:52.340 We are people who possess a message of hope for the rest of the world that is without hope,
00:05:11.400 a message that comes from the true Mother-Father God,
00:05:14.740 for whom we live, who was venerated since ancient times by our ancestors.
00:05:19.180 The living word of our people was rejected and thrown aside by those who say they own science and knowledge
00:05:27.060 and therefore the word of God, while the oral tradition of our wisdom was systematically ignored.
00:05:35.220 In that 2017 document, there's also a Jesuit quoted, a Filipe Jaled Ali Modad,
00:05:43.340 who, SJ of course, for Jesuits, and he speaks of prayer.
00:05:47.680 He said, quote,
00:05:49.300 To be offered by a prayer leader in Indigenous theology, one does not speak of God, one speaks to God.
00:05:56.140 He says, and I quote again,
00:05:58.680 I am your child, my Lord Jesus Christ, and we are honoring our Holy Mother Earth,
00:06:04.680 in which your holy body was buried for three days, and where you buried our sins.
00:06:10.620 End quote.
00:06:11.100 Oh, and by the way, remember how there were actually two of those pagan statues to start with in the Vatican Gardens?
00:06:19.100 Well, if you're wondering what happened to the second one, well, you can see it right here,
00:06:24.160 in front of the Pope and in the Synod Auditorium Hall,
00:06:28.320 so that all the Synod Fathers are actually staring at it the whole time.
00:06:33.680 Unbelievable.
00:06:34.200 To this day, not many in the Catholic hierarchy have spoken out against this visual atrocity happening in the Vatican.
00:06:43.200 I've only seen Bishop Joseph Strickland in Tilo, Texas,
00:06:46.620 who endorsed a video by Father Mark Goring, which we covered on LifeSite,
00:06:50.260 which rejected the pagan rituals in the Vatican.
00:06:53.100 And just on Sunday, Bishop Strickland tweeted an image of Christ crucified, saying,
00:06:58.200 and I quote,
00:06:59.680 May this be the image of light and truth that guides those participating in the Amazon Synod.
00:07:05.720 He added,
00:07:06.560 Only Christ brings salvation.
00:07:09.500 God bless you, Bishop Strickland.
00:07:11.820 You are one of the lone voices in the Church defending the faith and defending our families.
00:07:18.300 Apart from heresies of female ordination and removing celibacy being promoted,
00:07:23.340 this pagan idol flirtation alone is leading to mass confusion,
00:07:28.960 not only among the faithful, but also among other religions, too.
00:07:32.780 This confirms the worst false accusations against Catholics brought by breakaway sects,
00:07:38.720 who claim Catholicism is about idol worship.
00:07:42.240 May God cleanse His Church. 1.00
00:07:45.200 You know there's a historical precedent relating to God's response to idolatry in His temple among His priests?
00:07:52.080 It's in the 8th chapter of the book of Ezekiel.
00:07:55.780 You read there about the idolatry being practiced by the elders, by the priests of the time.
00:08:01.700 And in chapter 9, we read of God's wrath poured out on the holy city.
00:08:09.000 Could this foretell a horrific destruction of Rome beginning with the ministers in Rome in the Vatican?
00:08:15.160 One should note that the only ones God spares in His wrath in that chapter 9
00:08:22.080 are the ones who lament and grieve about the idolatry.
00:08:27.160 He has the angels go and mark their foreheads before the destruction begins.
00:08:32.360 So it's time to pray in reparation for this outrage against our Lord.
00:08:37.540 Perhaps some cardinals or bishops or priests may begin to offer masses of reparation.
00:08:43.000 Please join me and all of us at LifeSite News in praying for the Church
00:08:48.280 and for the conversion of Pope Francis.
00:08:52.380 For LifeSite News, this is John Henry Weston, and may God bless you.
