The John-Henry Westen Show - Spiritual WARFARE is starting： The Knights of JPII

00:00:00.000 I mean, have some excitement, the fact that the saints long to live in these times.

00:00:06.000 They long to live in these times.

00:00:10.480 Hey, my friends, welcome to this episode of the John Henry Weston Show. We're going to try

00:00:13.880 something different today. You know, we've been encouraged to do longer form discussions with

00:00:18.860 people so that you can really get into the discussion and kind of like Joe Rogan type

00:00:25.360 of style. We're going to try that, see what you think, let us know. Today, we're going

00:00:30.520 to be talking to Daniel Potvin. Daniel Potvin is the guy who founded a new movement in church

00:00:37.260 called the Knights of St. John Paul II. You can go check him out, Knights of St. John Paul

00:00:45.640 II, the Roman numerals.org. And you'll see the website there. But I wanted to give you a glimpse

00:00:53.400 into the man, Lumberjack, by the way, who began this movement, which has now spread

00:00:59.180 to 15 countries, which has as his chaplain, Bishop Joseph Strickland, and which I've employed

00:01:06.020 in my hometown for the last few years. It's been super powerful. It is definitely something

00:01:12.740 to take on. But I want to give you a little glimpse into the man that was inspired to start

00:01:18.640 this and what it's all about.

00:01:20.680 Daniel Potvin, thank you so much for joining us. God bless you.

00:01:23.000 Good to see you again, John Henry.

00:01:25.420 So, let's get into this right from the beginning. Tell us about yourself. You are, I understand,

00:01:31.320 a revert. So, you were born Catholic, but then came back to the faith. Tell us about your upbringing

00:01:36.600 and then where you went off the rails before you came back.

00:01:40.520 So, I was brought up in a family, seven kids. My parents, we went to church, went to Catholic

00:01:47.260 school until the last one was closed down. I was in third grade. My parents were devout,

00:01:52.060 I'd say, but we didn't pray the rosary in the home. My parents took a trip to Medjugorje in 87,

00:02:01.680 came back home, started praying the rosary every day. I would have been in my early 20s. And my dad

00:02:08.120 had left with a chronic back issue. And he came back fully healed. Okay. So, it's interesting because

00:02:16.940 at that time, only one of my siblings out of seven was going to church.

00:02:22.320 And not you.

00:02:23.040 And not, and I certainly wasn't one of them. I believed it. We all believed dad was healed.

00:02:28.560 It didn't seem to have an effect on us. It certainly didn't have an effect on me because

00:02:33.620 I just kept running down this road of ruin, living a crazy single life with my friends.

00:02:40.260 Um, worked very hard, very successful. What were you doing at the time?

00:02:45.640 Well, family business. Um, my dad had gone bankrupt in 84. And then me and one of my brothers

00:02:53.220 and one of my sisters took it over. My dad managed to pull this thing off where at the auction,

00:02:59.040 another businessman bought it at the auction, then sold it back to us kids. Started building

00:03:04.440 it back up. And you have the lifestyle, but then you start having money to further it. Okay. Um,

00:03:16.980 so it just got from bad to worse. Okay. Somewhere around 1990, I really started feeling empty inside.

00:03:28.760 Like, like, real bad. I had everything a single man of 25 years old could look for. Company was worth

00:03:38.400 over a million dollars at the time. So on paper, I was actually a millionaire. Okay. Um, brand new

00:03:45.700 vehicles, Friday, Saturday night, you know, any one of three, four different girls to call up to go out. 1.00

00:03:54.380 Um, so I had everything, but I w I was noticing more and more, I was dark and dead inside.

00:04:01.200 I remember now I, it was July of 1992 and I had a, we had a house at the, we had bought through the

00:04:10.600 business and it was right next to the business. And I had three roommates that I had all grown up

00:04:17.300 with all of them. They had come back from college and we lived in this bachelor house, all hard workers,

00:04:24.020 different trades, different trades, but crazy wild. And my mom gives me this book and it's on

00:04:33.820 interviews with the children in Medjugorje. And so it was pretty cool because the author is

00:04:39.140 interviewing these kids, asking him questions. And I'll be honest with you, growing up, I,

00:04:46.900 I never read a book. I went through grammar school, high school without reading a book.

00:04:52.520 And I'm just eating this book up. And I remember I was sitting at the kitchen table in our,

00:04:58.520 our house and my roommates are in the other room watching TV. And this question comes up,

00:05:07.160 the author was having trouble understanding how God, um, can condemn us to hell, right?

00:05:15.420 And Visca said, the blessed mother said that we actually judge ourselves.

00:05:24.140 And that even while you're alive, if you close your eyes and look inside, you'll know where you're

00:05:32.720 going. And so I'm sitting there, I had to get to the table. Yeah, I laugh now, but I scared the heck

00:05:39.080 out of me. Okay. I closed my eyes and I went, I'm going to hell. And I get up and I go walk in

00:05:47.020 in the other room, get the attention of my roommates. They were John, John and John, right? And I said,

00:05:55.060 listen to this. I, and then I said, I just did it. Like if I die now, I'm going to hell.

00:06:00.240 A week later, I was on a plane to Medjugorje. Okay. Because over that week I realized I am so 0.51

00:06:11.640 enslaved to sin, right? On several fronts. And I must've started reading the Bible during that week

00:06:20.400 too. And, you know, St. Paul said about, you know, being chained, the slavery of sin. And I said,

00:06:28.880 I can't break that here, but I know there's miracles going on over there.

00:06:34.280 Because you washed you with your dad. Yeah. And, and so that's where I'm going. 0.50

00:06:38.980 Now I called, they were booked. We'll put you on a waiting list. I get a call a few days before

00:06:45.140 they leave and there was an opening. Okay. So I went with this beautiful nun out of Boston,

00:06:51.860 Sister Bargrip, and just completely changed me.

00:06:58.880 Right. I gave up everything. I, I came back home. It was in August. I think it was even during the

00:07:05.700 Feast of August, the Assumption. Came back home. I didn't want to go out. All I wanted to do was pray

00:07:12.620 the rosary, start a prayer group, like was asked. So I started a prayer group at my parents' house,

00:07:18.100 which was a big house. Pretty soon we got 20, 30 people one, one night a week praying the rosary.

00:07:24.280 Right. And all of a sudden I'm thinking about, well, my family, how big the family is in the,

00:07:30.700 in the young people in the family, not my siblings, but it's interesting. And I, this is true. I didn't

00:07:38.720 wait until I went to Medjugorje to go to confession. Okay. Cause I said, I'm getting on an airplane.

00:07:43.560 Right. I went down the church and I had made a good confession. Right. And all the numbers just had

00:07:50.820 zeros at the end, all the sins. Well, how many times? Well, just had a couple of zeros. And so I'm

00:07:58.100 good. Two of my roommates are lapsed Catholics like me live in the same kind of life. The third one is

00:08:06.340 an atheist. Only one of my siblings, my younger sister is going to church. Now, sister Margaret,

00:08:15.920 she said in Medjugorje, the grace is most powerful at the time of the apparition.

00:08:24.120 And that's when you want to have your bucket of petitions, right? So I'm praying for my siblings.

00:08:32.640 I'm praying for my roommates. I'm praying for any number of things. I get back home. Two of my

00:08:39.880 sisters went back to church while I was gone. My two roommates had gone to confession and gone back

00:08:48.580 to church. The third roommate started asking me questions, talking about becoming Catholic,

00:08:56.360 Catholic, the atheist. Okay. He was, he was brought into the church a year later. This is the 0.58

00:09:03.740 right. And then that just the prayer group. And then that just got me on a roll because it was

00:09:10.020 just, it was affecting everybody around. And then I'm like, I want to go back. I want to go back

00:09:18.000 at Christmas time just to thank our lady, right? So I go back at Christmas time and, uh, we're at a

00:09:27.700 talk with Father Yozo and the church is like standing room only packed. So I'm in the way back of the

00:09:33.160 church and there's this big statue of the blessed mother at the back. And my back's up against her

00:09:40.740 statue. She's facing the front of the church, but her feet are high. They start at about four feet, 0.99

00:09:46.680 right? And I look beside me and there's this young woman standing beside me afterwards outside bump 0.91

00:09:54.140 into her and we're chatting. Okay. Now I would say probably October of that year prior to this trip,

00:10:04.440 I had been running around because I'm like, all right, now God's got me on the right track. What

00:10:10.320 am I going to do with my life? So, so I just started going to religious orders. Ones I heard were

00:10:16.060 sound Franciscans, this group, the Marian fathers in Stockbridge and checking out call to vocation.

00:10:23.020 There was one night in October and I'm kneeling down because one of the messages in Medjugorje was

00:10:29.940 you should set up an altar in your house where you have a crucifix, you know, you have a blessed

00:10:36.860 candle of holy Bible. And I would do my prayers there every night. And I'm talking to the blessed

00:10:44.300 mother from the heart. You know, I'm like, you know, I'm checking out vocation, this and that,

00:10:51.440 but really what I'd like to do is I'd like to be married. Right. I didn't understand how discernment

00:10:58.500 works. This was early on. I said, I, I just like to meet a good woman. Okay. Well, it turned out that

00:11:06.280 woman I was standing next to in the back of the church. We, I never, I was looking for the whole

00:11:11.860 time in Medjugorje at Christmas time, never saw her again until I'm at the airport getting ready to

00:11:16.840 leave. Right. I'm getting ready to leave. And I'm having a cup of coffee in these, a young guy and a

00:11:25.980 young woman come over and sit down with me. They're both from England. And one of the things on this

00:11:31.540 trip, I was talking, I was praying about was something for the young people in the area.

00:11:38.120 Right. To bring them into the faith. They sit down and here it is. The woman who was standing beside me

00:11:44.700 and her friend, Jonathan, who everybody called nod. They sit down and they start chatting with me

00:11:51.560 about this youth program in England. That's now worldwide. It's called youth 2000. Right.

00:12:00.120 I'm like, this is exactly what I'm looking for. So they give me the name. She gives,

00:12:06.620 Jane gives me the name of the woman in the United States out of Texas. Then they get up to go their

00:12:12.340 flights. Right. And it's not like here in the States and England or in Medjugorje. I forget which

00:12:19.260 was the city we flew out of. But you, you walk out on what they call the tarmac. It's not blacktop.

00:12:25.960 It's tarmac. And then you climb up the stairs into the plane. And we're on the second floor in the

00:12:32.360 airport. And there they go. I'm into railing. I'm like, so Dan, you're just going to let her walk

00:12:38.220 out. You don't even have her phone number. Right. So I go running down the stairs. Yeah. Just like you

00:12:46.260 seeing the commercial, I go running to the door before they get out. And I'm like, could I have

00:12:50.200 your phone number? I want to, I want to know more about this youth 2000 stuff. Right. Anyway,

00:12:55.240 she becomes my future wife. We have six kids. Um, she's a wonderful woman. She homeschooled the kids. 0.97

00:13:02.800 Uh, my business burned down in 2012 on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, which was a statue I kept

00:13:18.160 in the office. And you meant literally burned. Literally burned down. But my wife and I had been

00:13:24.580 doing, cause building up the company had built up a lot, a lot of data and business was getting very,

00:13:30.820 very difficult. Like most years we lost money in the stress level, you know, with 40 employees. And

00:13:38.320 I just wasn't having fun anymore, you know? And so we had started doing that 30 day no beat of the

00:13:46.940 St. Joseph to get out of debt. Well, when we started it like two years before, I had $3.5 million debt.

00:13:53.080 And by the time of the fire, it was down to $1.3 million. Statue of Our Lady of Lourdes on the Feast of

00:14:02.820 Our Lady of Lourdes, the whole plant burned down. Okay. A month later, I had just enough insurance to

00:14:13.560 pay everything off. A month later, I was debt free. Oh, wow. Now, and we all hear this, right?

00:14:21.580 You pray for something, you don't always know how God's going to answer it.

00:14:25.780 A lot of people would see that as a kick in the gut. At the first, did you?

00:14:30.500 It was an emotional thing, cause I had been working at that plant since I was six years old. My dad

00:14:36.260 would take me every Saturday morning. I started sweeping the floor. Then you'd move up, move up,

00:14:42.420 move up, move up. It was very emotional. But then the following day, my sister comes up to me. She

00:14:51.120 shows me the insurance policy. She also shows me because, you know, there were five fire departments

00:14:57.540 from five towns. This was a massive fire. And with everybody in the office didn't burn down. So there

00:15:04.120 was a lot of people in and out of the office all day long. The fire started at four o'clock in the

00:15:09.040 morning from a car accident. They had a power surge go back. And the firemen were there till nine

00:15:17.200 o'clock the next day at night. Somebody must have bumped in and knocked the statue off. I knew it was

00:15:22.640 a statue of our blessed mother. I didn't particularly know it was statue of our lady of lords. Well, the

00:15:28.340 next day when my sister is, you know, helping figure things out, this and that, she's like, Dan, do you

00:15:36.420 know what? This is a statue of our lady of lords. And she said, today is the feast of our lady of

00:15:44.460 lords. Right. So yeah, yeah. And within short amount of time, it became clear. It was a blessing.

00:15:53.540 The stress was gone immediately. Um, and I had a little extra insurance money. So I'm like,

00:16:01.460 I always liked working in the woods, cutting trees. So I bought a used machine and, uh,

00:16:08.920 just went out logging full time. You know, Jane and I went on to have six children,

00:16:14.020 three are now married and third grandchild's on the way. A little girl, I understand.

00:16:19.940 So I already have two grandsons. Now you lost some children along the way as well?

00:16:24.340 Yes. Between Therese and Joseph, my wife had two miscarriages. One was a boy and one was a girl.

00:16:35.860 So we actually have eight, two in heaven. And unfortunately I, I, I forget about them. Like,

00:16:44.660 like I don't even, I should call on them more to pray for the family, you know, and, and their

00:16:50.980 intercession because they're, they're there already. Pope Pius XI said, men must look for

00:16:58.460 the peace of Christ in the kingdom of Christ. And he urged that the faithful give public honor to

00:17:04.580 Christ the King so that individuals and states would submit once more to the rule of their savior.

00:17:10.160 And that is why LifeSite News is raising up the image of Christ the King across the United States.

00:17:16.100 And you can help us reach millions more. Please pledge your support today for these billboards

00:17:22.820 at lifefunder.com slash Christ is King. Now, you know, an incredible assortment of priests and

00:17:33.860 religious. Is that all from your time of going around to these different orders to try and

00:17:37.900 see about your vocation or? That's part of it. Um, but when I got back from Medjugorje the first time

00:17:46.520 I brought a priest in, I had the company consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary under the title of

00:17:53.780 Our Lady of Guadalupe. Like, cause I think within the first week getting back, I got ahold of one of

00:17:59.700 Dan Lynch's books, which actually he wrote in that one book he wrote about St. Louis de Montfort,

00:18:11.300 Fatima, Father Gobi. Oh, Our Lady of Guadalupe was in there. So I had the company consecrated and I

00:18:21.440 said to the Blessed Mother, look at if there's any religious orders that need lumber, just send them my 1.00

00:18:26.920 way. So I started hearing from groups all over. They just came out of the woodwork, including a

00:18:34.040 priest up in New Hampshire with a camp for fathers and boys. That was an exciting time, I'll tell you,

00:18:39.380 because I got to meet all these different priests. The business was building though, and my dad was

00:18:45.400 getting where he wanted to step back. So this worked really good because I'd send dad to go meet with

00:18:52.760 these groups. And once the lumber started going, check it out, see how things are going, you know?

00:19:00.180 And so he got to, he got to spend a lot of time with, with, with these orders and stuff. And that

00:19:06.580 was good for him. He likes to chat and talk and meet people. And, and I think he really, really enjoyed

00:19:12.820 that all the way down to Virginia with Human Life International. You know, in fact, Father Paul

00:19:19.220 Marx, he came to our office twice at the sawmill, which was pretty cool. You know, I don't know if I

00:19:25.660 ever got down there to see the finished building, but that was a big project. So we were sending tractor

00:19:30.340 trailer loads of wood down there. Oh, amazing. We were, we were in that building for many years.

00:19:35.480 Really? Yeah. Like I said, had an office inside the HLI building for many, many years. It's a funny thing

00:19:41.620 because most people don't believe in sort of instantaneous conversions, but yours seems pretty

00:19:46.900 instantaneous. Yeah. Like when you came back, you had all these, you said you were in slavery

00:19:53.520 to all sorts of things. Oh, it just was gone. Gone. Like, I guess you had a huge hunger right at

00:20:00.440 the beginning. Prayer life never left you. You just kept that up every day or. Oh yeah. And I think

00:20:05.700 that's the thing too, right? Cause I, I wear them today. The last time I was in Medjugorje was 2019

00:20:11.120 and the big message in Medjugorje. And I know there's a lot of controversy out there, but

00:20:17.900 the main part of the message is your five stones to fight against your Goliath. Daily rosary,

00:20:26.760 monthly confession, fasting on Wednesdays and Fridays, daily scripture, Eucharistic adoration.

00:20:35.820 With those five stones, you can defeat your Goliath. So while I'm in Medjugorje, immediately

00:20:43.280 I started doing all five. Sure. So the chains were broke, but I think, I think it's these

00:20:51.900 five chains that do the breaking. I mean, I believe in instantaneous conversions, but there's

00:20:59.940 work got to be done too. Yeah. It hasn't all, I'll be honest, it hasn't all been, cause I'm

00:21:05.180 one of those people that, you know, I can forget, right. I've had some huge miracles in my life

00:21:12.900 and I can forget. Right. Um, I remember there was a famous priest and he said he was very popular

00:21:25.320 throughout the United States. He said, every person at one point in their life, at one time

00:21:34.620 or another has been the prodigal son. And when I heard him say that, I'm like, yeah. And some of

00:21:41.260 us have been the prodigal son three, four times, right. Get comfy back in the father's house and

00:21:47.760 then slip out the back door and get back into trouble again. So yeah, yeah. I, you know, I've

00:21:54.420 had my ups and downs. So tell us about at least one of those miracles. If you're able to,

00:21:58.600 I got a cousin up in Canada, up in Quebec, Sherbrooke area. And her daughter was diagnosed

00:22:06.060 with leukemia. Okay. And she's like 12 years, 10, 12 years old. And I'm getting ready for my trip

00:22:13.680 and she's in the hospital in intensive care. Most of my relatives in Canada speak French. The younger

00:22:19.920 ones can speak English, but my dad, my mom speak fluent Canadian French. And so I said, dad, you call

00:22:29.560 Anita, tell her I'm going to be in Medjugorje. Tell her to tell her daughter on me that. And I figured

00:22:38.740 out the time change. I'll be in the church during the apparition and I'm going to bring her name is

00:22:47.440 Roxanne. I'm going to lift her up in my intention. Okay. So they knew the time back in Canada.

00:22:58.200 I come back home. That little girl was completely cured and she saw a bright light with a woman,

00:23:08.980 a beautiful woman. And she was healed. She drew a picture of it. This is just what my relatives in

00:23:17.380 Canada need because they've all fallen away from the church, except my old uncle, John, right? He's

00:23:24.940 faithful, but the rest of them have all, and it's a big clan up there in Canada. And, uh, sure enough,

00:23:32.960 the following summer, we're up there for some of that. Nobody went back to church. Nobody's doing

00:23:39.180 anything. And I pulled them all aside and I'm like, you know, that miracle wasn't just for her.

00:23:44.300 So that was a big miracle. Um, I mean, there's a lot more, but you know, I can forget. It's nice to

00:23:53.720 talk about it because how I could compare it to is, is the Jews coming out of Egypt and all the wonders

00:24:01.980 and the miracles they just came through. And then things start to get a little bit tough

00:24:06.620 and they forget. What inspired you to start the night's jump of second? I think it was an

00:24:12.760 inspiration that started, um, from an experience I had at Mont Saint-Michel in 1997, um, which was a

00:24:22.220 very powerful experience. I was there for world youth day. I was a chaperone. And then I had my wife

00:24:28.820 scheduled me a couple of days on my own. So I could be, be alone after a rough week at a world

00:24:35.720 youth day chaperoning. And I'd always wanted to go to Mont Saint-Michel. So I went there. I had a

00:24:41.080 powerful experience. And then a couple of years later, I started thinking about the idea of,

00:24:49.740 I guess I, I put it back to that. It's not like it came to me there or anything,

00:24:56.900 but it was a few years after that, that like this idea of getting men together,

00:25:02.140 men to pray, holy men, you know, there's examples throughout history. There's Joan of Arc.

00:25:08.480 You know, I grew up watching that movie all the time. I would have loved to fight in her army,

00:25:13.880 right? Along with every other man in France wanted to, um, but, but she took broken, sinful,

00:25:24.320 let's face it. After 70 years of war, the men of France were beaten down. The English had three

00:25:33.960 quarters of the country. Their towns had been ravished. They'd be lost battle after battle after

00:25:40.580 battle. Kind of like where we are now. Okay. God sends her. She's able to inspire an entire nation.

00:25:52.580 But, but the concept of, of, of men, right. Um, going out and, and battling against evil. It started

00:26:03.980 growing a few years after that. Um, it started taking a form in the early two thousands, um, to

00:26:11.020 where I actually wrote up some stuff, but then I got kicked in the head pretty good and, uh, went

00:26:17.620 through a very dark time in my life for two, three years. Came out of that shelved everything, just,

00:26:27.020 you know, practicing my faith and everything like that. And then around 2015,

00:26:33.980 it started gnawing at me again. And so I organized a non-denominational group

00:26:43.600 in a nearby city. It's a small city, 12,000 people, but it's coming from my town. It's huge. 800 people,

00:26:51.400 right. So, and non-denominational. We even had a few guys joined and there was 30 guys within like

00:26:58.860 three weeks. We brought prayer into it because I started it. So we would say in our father,

00:27:05.120 hail Mary and a glory be and the Protestant guys put up with it. Um, but was more about, um, 0.81

00:27:11.780 building community, learning basic skills that had been forgotten gardening. Like one of the young

00:27:19.160 guys had joined his, his family owned a 600 acre farm, right? So we started a quarter acre garden

00:27:27.400 there and all the guys would show up and, you know, start learning these skills. It was a lot of

00:27:32.820 fun. I did bring into it though, cause it was at that time I came across that ancient prayer to St.

00:27:38.620 Joseph, which is on the inside cover of the nights. Tradition says it goes back to 50 AD and there's all

00:27:47.620 these promises for praying it, caring it, um, just carrying it on your person. And tradition says

00:27:57.620 that the Pope actually gave a copy of it to one of the Habsburgs that was going into battle. Charles,

00:28:03.520 I think his name was in 1500. And one of the promises is you won't get defeated in battle.

00:28:11.020 Hmm. I kind of like that promise. Okay. Uh, no poison will take effect on you. Um, you will not die

00:28:21.180 in fire. You will be not captured by an enemy. A lot of great promises. I made copies of that actually

00:28:29.640 and gave them to all the men in this non-denominational group. And I said, just at least put it in your 0.75

00:28:35.840 wallet. Okay. Now things like this happen, you know, trying to do something outside of the box

00:28:44.620 here. It fell apart within a year. And, you know, but even while it was going, I was like,

00:28:52.060 this isn't Catholic enough. You know what I mean? It's just, it's definitely lacking. That was gnawing. 0.99

00:29:00.060 It was building. And then I decided to bring my two oldest boys on this trip. My wife had planned

00:29:08.480 to Medjugorje. She didn't go, but she organized it for the church. So our two deacons and their wives

00:29:13.180 went and it was about 14. I was, I took my two oldest son, James and John Paul. And while it was

00:29:21.260 there, they had named the main street in Medjugorje now, it's named after John Paul II. Right.

00:29:30.560 Um, cause I had a different name in mind back in 2000, 2001. One of the things I was praying

00:29:37.660 for, right? Bringing my big bucket with me to Medjugorje. I was, I was like, well, my kids

00:29:44.020 are almost all grown up and out of the house. And so I'm like, well, bless a mother. What mission

00:29:50.080 do you have for me going forward? Does the Lord have for me going forward? There must be some

00:29:56.020 mission. I've been involved in youth 2000. I've been involved in this, that, and the other thing.

00:30:00.800 What mission? Nice was not on my thought, but when we got back home, Deacon Bruce, you know,

00:30:11.120 he liked me coming down to the church once a week to have a coffee with him and, uh, discuss things.

00:30:17.040 And he knew for the last two years, I'd been writing stuff down on pieces of scratch paper

00:30:22.140 about a group of men's nights. Now we're back from Medjugorje. And he's like, when are you going

00:30:28.800 to start putting that stuff together? And every time I saw him, he was just like hammering on me.

00:30:34.100 Then this guy isn't like, uh, I want to be careful because he's going to see this.

00:30:39.260 He's not a, a warrior, like tough guy type guy, but the way he's talking to me, it's like, I think

00:30:47.520 he's going to start throwing fists here if I don't get my, my backside in action. So he was the

00:30:53.400 real push and hammering. We were in Medjugorje in May through that summer to where towards the end of

00:31:02.680 the summer, I finally start writing down notes, right? Into an organized situation. Then,

00:31:12.800 you know, I always forget the date, but it's the date on the back of our shirts, our night shirts.

00:31:19.780 Let me just pull these out here since I've got them here. So this is the shirt of the night's

00:31:27.020 John Paul II. Behold, I have given you the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and upon the

00:31:38.300 full force of the enemy and nothing will harm you from Luke 10, 19. That quote from the gospel just

00:31:46.260 pierced my heart. I mean, and I, the whole rest of mass, I just couldn't get it out. And, and I think

00:31:56.760 that was the launching pad. I walked out of church and I was just, first one I went to was some,

00:32:03.980 some of my friends and I'm like, did you hear that reading? Did you hear the power God's given us?

00:32:09.360 And they're all looking at me like, Daniel, okay. No, no, I'm like wound up. Then Deacon Bruce comes

00:32:17.380 out and I do it with him. I'm like, and I, it, it wouldn't rest. It wouldn't rest. So now I'm super

00:32:27.620 charged all week long at my work, which now I'm on this huge mountain, the backside of Mount Greylock

00:32:34.700 and I'm building roads. So the machines can access the timber. I'm building them with an excavator. So

00:32:41.520 the machines can stay on flat road. And so it's pretty methodical stuff. So I start, I have a little

00:32:50.600 notebook. I'm jotting notes down, but I, I'm, I'm starting to pray before I do it. True. Right.

00:33:00.720 So, you know, I'm running the equipment like this and I'm like, okay,

00:33:06.900 we're going to start a group of nights. I want some big heavy hitter saints on our side. So I'm

00:33:14.700 like, all right, Our Lady Guadalupe, St. Joseph. I started thinking of all the warrior saints I can

00:33:20.960 think of. At first it was three or four, then the next team, five or six. Because I think of other

00:33:27.480 saints. Like to me, St. Therese, the little flower is a warrior saint. I mean, you read her life. It's

00:33:33.400 like the demons would sear and flee. And so I'm like, okay, look at it. This is what I'm going to

00:33:38.340 do. I'm going to put you all into one category and then I'm going to keep adding more saints to it.

00:33:47.500 So I'm going to call you a saint. I'm going to call you JP2 and company. Good. Right.

00:33:52.660 True. Right. JP2 was the first one, obviously. I mean, he was a warrior. Um, and then I just kept

00:33:59.380 adding to it so that it got bigger and bigger. Then it was St. Michael. Then it was St. Michael

00:34:03.900 with Gabriel and Raphael. Then it was St. Michael and all nine choirs of angels. Right. Right. So

00:34:09.520 thoughts would come to me after I do that prayer and call on them to pray. Then at the end of the

00:34:15.200 day, when I got home, I'd start organizing it. And so it was that fall of 2019. It really all came

00:34:25.140 together. I mean, there were parts that even after I got it to the printer, which was

00:34:30.740 mid April of 2020. Now we're into COVID. Things are going crazy. I get it to the printer and I'm

00:34:40.020 like, okay, we're going to, we're going to officially start this on May 1st, which is the

00:34:44.660 feast of St. Joseph. And we're going to go down to the divine mercy shrine. Cause my favorite place

00:34:49.860 down there is the outdoor shrine to St. Joseph. So we do that May 1st. There's like five of us.

00:34:54.920 Okay. One of our, one of the founding fives, my older brother Lawrence, he just passed away

00:35:01.820 about four months ago and he was out there every Saturday morning. How do we start this?

00:35:06.600 I know we're going to pray the rosary, but we got to do an intro into this. So I'm leading

00:35:12.240 the group and I'm like, okay, call upon, you know, St. Michael and legions of angels and St.

00:35:22.940 Joseph terror of demon. After the first Saturday, I write this down. And then by the second Saturday,

00:35:31.340 it gets bigger. It was probably two, three months before I took that prayer to assemble the army

00:35:40.000 to a printer because it kept growing. Well, it's like, I don't just want a handful of saints. I want

00:35:50.060 all the saints. Right. And then I don't want, I want all nine choirs of angels. Wait a minute.

00:35:57.080 I want to, I want to get the souls in purgatory on this. Right. We now had a format to go out every

00:36:03.740 Saturday in an organized format. We could all just read that prayer, you know, and then I know I don't

00:36:10.520 like to lose battles. That's why all the nights carry that St. Joseph prayer. I just don't like

00:36:15.480 to lose battles. When I wrestled, I didn't like losing. You know, if you beat me six to four in

00:36:20.940 a match, when I meet you again in a month, I'm going to figure a way to beat you. So now in the

00:36:29.340 spiritual battle and in this worldly battle, we can see encompassing the world, I could see what

00:36:37.960 was coming actually 10 years before that. The signs were there. John Paul II talked about it back in

00:36:46.640 1976, right? The final confrontation between good and evil, between the gospel and the anti-gospel,

00:36:57.580 between Christ and the antichrist. That was 1976. Here we are in 2020. I know what we're up against,

00:37:10.620 but I also know the power God's given us with the heavenly army behind it.

00:37:16.340 Um, I don't expect to lose any battles. I mean, there's still two battles in my life that I'm

00:37:23.100 fighting right now. I haven't lost them. I haven't won them yet. You know, some battles take a long

00:37:30.360 time, right? Look at the French and English war. That was a hundred years of war. Okay. But I don't

00:37:37.700 expect to lose any battles. I know in my hometown, we've won every battle. I know sitting on the select

00:37:45.240 board during COVID, every battle came our way where, you know, the governor and trying to enforce

00:37:54.460 stuff on us. We'd have knights show up before the select board meeting. I'd have them come.

00:38:02.720 We'd do our prayer, summon the army, pray a rosary in the parking lot. I'd go into the select board

00:38:07.780 meeting. True. It was just victory after victory. The basic format of the knights is you meet every

00:38:15.580 Saturday morning. You pray for an hour in twos after calling on the heavenly army to come join

00:38:20.380 you. This is a very simple description. Yeah. But in addition to that, you employ the knights

00:38:25.720 for special things that, uh, that pertain to the town and or your family. How have you guys worked

00:38:32.980 that? Because we're, we're now very used to every Saturday come rain or shine or freezing cold. Uh,

00:38:40.260 we're out there. And, um, but what's this other aspect of doing things in town? What tells about that?

00:38:47.460 Okay. So what did knights do for the king? They were trained and then an issue come along

00:38:56.080 and they have to go into battle, but they're ongoing training. Okay. It's kind of like our weekly

00:39:04.900 we're going out, we're training. Now an issue comes up that issue in Boston three years ago

00:39:12.380 with the satanic group. And it was a big, they had a huge hotel and they were doing a downtown Boston

00:39:19.820 and all the bishops in the area. Right. I I've got to say this. They, they, they told the Catholics

00:39:27.840 just don't make a scene. Just go to the, your local parish and go in front of the blessed sacrament,

00:39:35.660 which is okay. If you're, you know what I mean? I started calling up the knights. Six of us went down.

00:39:41.400 I said, if there's a battle, no, you want to sit on the sidelines. It's like, no, a knight want you,

00:39:49.180 you're, you're trained. You want to go into battle. We went down, we rented a hotel.

00:39:56.960 There was only about a hundred people showed up, but TFP was there in America needs Fatima was there

00:40:03.000 and they were so organized. We have a banner now for the night. So we brought our banner.

00:40:09.380 Um, all the young guys from TFP, they were actually wanted to know about us, have some information on

00:40:16.000 the nights, but they organized it. It was, you just had to follow along with the rosaries and

00:40:21.300 everything like that. There was only one priest there. Who? A Franciscan. Any of these things come

00:40:28.820 up, um, you know, like several years ago, Bishop Strickland had that big procession in, in Los

00:40:38.340 Angeles. You don't know how bad I wanted to fly out to that because there's a battle, but you don't

00:40:47.020 have to always travel. These bigger things come up. Yeah. But what battles are happening in your town?

00:40:53.000 If you're not on the parish or a city council or in our town, it's select board. If you're not on the

00:40:59.460 school board, if you don't belong to that, you know, people in there, just tell them something big's

00:41:05.760 coming up. Let me know. You got a school board meeting Tuesday night and there's this big issue.

00:41:12.340 Let me know. I'll bring some of the nights. We'll show up outside. We'll assemble the army. We'll pray

00:41:19.900 a rosary for what's going on inside. In that prayer itself to summon the army, I do believe it's very

00:41:27.540 inspired and powerful. You don't have to be a knight to use it, but you could be a woman's group

00:41:34.260 outside of abortion. You're going to pray the rosary anyway. Why not have the army with you?

00:41:40.600 For some people, it must sound, especially when they see the prayer, it must just sound like crazy.

00:41:48.020 Yeah. It's, it's worth going through it to, to see what you're saying. So the, the, the prayer is,

00:41:53.800 is very, um, it's one that there's a, there's a lot in it. So let's actually talk about it because

00:42:01.420 I want to just, I'll read it out. This is a prayer before the rosary to summon the army.

00:42:07.500 We have trust in whatever name of the town to the sacred heart of Jesus and the immaculate heart

00:42:12.860 of Mary. We claim this city or town for Jesus, King of all nations and our queen, our lady of

00:42:18.740 Guadalupe. Repent of all the ways which we have allowed evil to infiltrate our city or town and we

00:42:25.320 resolve, uh, and our families and we resolve to take our town and our families back. So we joined

00:42:31.040 together today to drive out all the demons and evil from our town. Uh, you name the town there

00:42:36.600 because we are small and weak. We call upon our lady of Guadalupe, the woman clothed with the sun

00:42:41.680 who does battle with the dragon to go before us and lead us. We call upon St. Joseph, terror of demons

00:42:47.700 to go beside us. We call upon St. Michael, the archangel to arise now and come with thy sword and bring

00:42:53.500 all the angels of heaven to join us and drive all the demons eatable out of our city. We call upon

00:43:01.200 all the saints in heaven to join us now and to aid us in battle. We also call upon you souls in

00:43:06.840 purgatory to join us now and be with us today in this battle. Lastly, we call upon you, John Paul II

00:43:14.080 and company, to be with us now, pray for us and help us to drive the enemies of Christ out of our city.

00:43:21.660 And just, it's, it's really beautiful, really powerful. I think a lot of people will, um,

00:43:29.360 they, they will, they'll call you up right away and say, wait, what do you mean? You can't,

00:43:32.620 how do you get the souls in purgatory to join you? I thought you were only allowed to pray for them.

00:43:36.480 It's interesting. I had our first meeting we had with, with our Bishop, Bishop Brun.

00:43:40.940 I showed him the prayer and I said, you know, Bishop, I don't even know if this is theologically

00:43:46.720 right. I said, I don't know if the souls in purgatory can come and join us. And his response

00:43:54.960 was brilliant. He's like, it can't hurt to ask, you know? And, and I, I think that's what I see about

00:44:03.560 this prayer. It's like, and you know, this is going back 15, 20 years ago. Cause I read a lot

00:44:10.220 of different stuff and I'll even follow some, some Protestant circles, you know, just cause I,

00:44:16.400 um, I've got Protestant friends, Protestant ministers. There was this one fella, Protestant 0.99

00:44:22.200 guy. He had a vision and he was sharing the vision, legions and legions of these huge angels

00:44:30.860 standing at attention, which huge swords and the Lord revealed to him, these angels have been standing

00:44:43.200 in attention since the time I created them for the big battle, right? So that was rolling around in the

00:44:51.960 back of my head too. It's like, Hey man, I, I want to get these guys on the field, right? And to ask,

00:45:01.060 right? Right. Our Lord said that ask, ask, and you shall receive. I think if we look at the warriors

00:45:07.980 throughout history, they were bold, not just in the face of evil, they were bold with their prayer to God.

00:45:16.280 I think if God can have boldness, courage, right? And it's bold to ask, right? I've never seen a

00:45:25.300 prayer like this. Like who asks all the angels, all the saints, all the souls in purgatory to like,

00:45:31.080 join us in my little town right now. Okay. That's bold. He told St. Faustina,

00:45:38.100 ask me for much. I am willing to give much to, right? That ask, that ask all along St. Louis to

00:45:50.340 Montfort when he taught the prayer of the rosary. It wasn't just, it was ask something before each

00:45:58.080 decade, ask for a grace. That was John Paul II's motto. Ask the first joyful mystery.

00:46:08.080 is the enunciation, but the fruit of the mystery of humility. How about you ask for humility

00:46:16.900 versus just saying the fruit is humility. Could I have some of your humility and then pray your

00:46:24.740 decade? You know what I mean? That's St. Louis's, John Paul II's method.

00:46:30.100 The rosary, as you play it out, is a very normal rosary, except for these small, tiny differences.

00:46:38.380 One of which is you say the St. Michael prayer and the Holy Spirit, come Holy Ghost, come by means of

00:46:46.200 the powerful intercession, the back of the heart of Mary, thy well-beloved spouse. But those two are

00:46:50.280 inserted after the typical Fatima prayer, oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us and empower us

00:46:56.400 shall lead all souls to them, especially those in most need of thy mercy. So other than that,

00:47:01.140 it's a completely normal rosary. That does add to it though. My friends tell me all that, all those

00:47:08.120 add-ons. But it takes more time. It does. It does. But also this other difference is that before each

00:47:16.320 decade, you mentioned an intention. And that's really great because I told my wife this, I told her,

00:47:24.720 this is the perfect guy's group. She said, wait, you don't do anything. She said, like, do you talk

00:47:32.300 before? No, not much. We just get there, we pray. And then it's an hour and we go. And she said, but

00:47:39.720 you didn't do anything. Well, actually we do because that sharing of intentions, you're sort of talking.

00:47:45.800 I don't know that guys like talk like women do, it's a different thing. But that, what they were doing, 1.00

00:47:52.460 what we're doing, we all know one another and we're all friends. But we sometimes will share

00:47:58.340 stuff that's personal, a prayer need as we do that. And we do it right away. We're praying for

00:48:05.500 one another. Yeah. You're more of a warrior guy than I am. When I think of activism, when I think of

00:48:11.940 doing something for our Lord and being in Canada was the pro-life movement. And you want to do something

00:48:19.380 because you're sick of this. And I tried, I ran three times for political office. I,

00:48:24.280 you know, you, you, whenever we don't have an abortion clinic, thank God, anywhere near where 0.98

00:48:28.640 we live. But when, when I'm away, I go and do that with pro-lifers there. It's awesome. But it's

00:48:34.520 interesting because it's doing, it's a form of battle that isn't the world's way. It's not

00:48:40.440 political lobbying. Not that I'm saying political lobbying is bad, but this is an active fighting

00:48:48.480 that is completely spiritual in a way. You, the physical is there, you show up and then you walk

00:48:56.840 around your town. So it's a, it's a bodily, a sort of embodied spiritual warfare. It's really

00:49:03.980 beautiful. And, and for me, I thought, wow, if you really want to take your, your town and your

00:49:11.320 families back for Christ and Holy mother, there's nothing, there's nothing better. I, um, that's

00:49:17.180 why I loved it. When I, when I first heard about it, I wanted to say too, when I first heard about

00:49:22.880 it, I, it came really as an email, I guess, from you or from Deacon, I don't know who from

00:49:28.180 any package I sent you. Yeah, that's right. In the mail. So this is weird. We get lots of stuff.

00:49:33.980 And it's, it's hard to sort out what you're supposed to do, what you're not. We try with

00:49:38.460 prayer and say, oh boy, you know, I wish I heard our Lord. I don't. I, I, I mean, you know, you must

00:49:43.920 hear him internally in your heart, but I wish I would get that. John Henry, this is what I want you

00:49:49.260 to do and do it now. Okay. I'm no problem, but it's not like that. But what happened to me was

00:49:55.360 our town was undergoing all sorts of insanity when your package arrived. And we were like, oh,

00:50:05.380 there's a, they're, they're going to build a mosque and grow. And the Catholic hospital had

00:50:12.300 abandoned their chapel. They sent back the, the stations and the tabernacle and all the stuff

00:50:18.820 from the chapel. They just sent it back to the church. We don't want this anymore. And, uh,

00:50:22.660 there was a drag show that just happened in town at our little town, a drag show. We're

00:50:27.700 like, what? And so all this stuff is happening. And euthanasia was starting at our local hospital,

00:50:35.900 which is named after a Catholic saint. So really Catholic, but we was like, whoa, what the heck

00:50:43.060 is going on here? We're living so far outside the city so we can raise our kids in a good place.

00:50:48.160 Pound. Or just getting pounded by evil. And that's when your package arrives. I was like,

00:50:55.280 and I, and, you know, I was reading it a little bit. I was like, to take our towns and our families

00:51:00.440 back. Obviously I'm called to do this. So that was interesting. That was the start of it here

00:51:04.840 already a couple of years ago. And, you know, we started a little group and, and been going

00:51:08.860 faithfully ever since. We certainly turned the tide in the town. Um, and I wouldn't, I wouldn't say to

00:51:19.840 guys, you know, okay, well, you four guys are going to start going out and everything's going to change

00:51:23.600 right away. It's the day in, it's the day out. I think, you know, even the walls of Jericho didn't

00:51:29.360 have to go around seven times. Nothing happened the first six. Yeah. Um, and, and remember too,

00:51:36.880 I want to point this out. Your prayers are enabling, helping, obtaining more grace for

00:51:47.280 good people that are on the school board, good people who are on the city council,

00:51:54.800 good people who are in the police department, right? Cause there's any war. There's not just

00:52:02.560 foot soldiers, right? You were talking about a little bit earlier. There's, there's people that

00:52:09.020 do this. There's people that do that. There's people do that. Then you have the special force

00:52:14.140 guys that go in cross enemy lines. That's what I like to think of the Knights as it's like, we go

00:52:20.540 in, we shoot off the rockets, the artillery, and we loosen things up so that the guys can come in

00:52:28.860 behind us and gals, you know, the also thing too, I remember you asking me a while back

00:52:34.540 that, well, can anybody use this prayer? And I think that's important because whatever your group

00:52:40.060 is doing, you're a pro-life crew, um, any number of other, there's so many apostolates out there and

00:52:49.020 so many people doing good work. It's like, just get the army behind you. If I can't emphasize that

00:52:56.720 enough, go on our website, get a copy of the prayer and, and, you know, print out copies.

00:53:04.400 Knights of St. John Paul 2.org. And the two is two eyes as in the Roman numeral go there. You'll find

00:53:10.760 all the prayers and everything so that everybody has easy access. Protecting your money doesn't

00:53:16.220 have to be complicated with stocks, bonds, and crypto. It's easy to feel lost. The gold and silver

00:53:21.980 have been trusted for centuries is a simple, stable store of value in uncertain times. If you had

00:53:27.760 invested $35,000 in gold at the millennium, an amount you can give today tax-free to anyone you

00:53:33.420 love, it would have grown to be worth over $325,000. Call our team at 610-326-2000 and let us step you

00:53:42.100 through crafting a solution for your family. Why John Paul II? I can honestly say he was

00:53:51.000 Papa to me. Um, but then, you know, the more, the more I discovered his life, underground seminary,

00:54:00.520 right? Buddies getting taken off by the Nazis and the communists. Um,

00:54:06.320 he's just a fighter, right? Then, then as a bishop, right? He's one of the few bishops in communist

00:54:16.780 countries that got the better of the communists, right? Right. He, he, he could keep the pressure

00:54:24.360 on them, right? In high level negotiations, usually everybody tries to, right? But one side wins

00:54:31.460 because they've got more leverage, you might say. And the way I used to see it is he, he always had

00:54:38.980 this tight rubber band on them and always got them to move a little closer. Like when they band

00:54:44.660 processions on the streets with the blessed mother, what's he do? He takes the picture out of the frame,

00:54:53.920 goes out on the streets and has a procession. When he had that huge mass out there,

00:55:01.460 you know, out in that field, it was a Nova Hoota. You know, I saw these things and I'm like, 0.97

00:55:07.920 he was a warrior. At the same time, he was a genius, right? He spoke 22 languages. He wrote,

00:55:15.140 I think more encyclicals and documents than any other Pope. He just like on so many levels. Long before

00:55:22.500 I founded the Knights, when I used to speak of John Paul II or quote him, I always said,

00:55:30.180 it's going to take 500 years for the church to work through all his writings, right? His writing

00:55:38.300 on human sexuality, love and responsibility, theology of the body, the family. So with the

00:55:46.000 Knights, I see we have a battle in front of us, but then there's going to be a victory. We know that.

00:55:53.380 We know our lady's going to triumph, right? We're, we're in our army now. And I know she's got a lot

00:56:00.440 of, she's our general. She's got a lot of, right? The Knights are just one little, right? She's got all 0.76

00:56:08.180 over the globe and everybody's got a specific mission, right? But the triumph is going to come.

00:56:13.920 And, and when it comes, how long is that era of peace going to last?

00:56:20.740 Two.

00:56:22.720 I believe it's going to be things like men in every town doing what we do, even after the triumph.

00:56:32.220 Just keep doing it. All the Eucharist adoration chapels, all the family rosary, those things all got to continue, right?

00:56:43.920 The way he spoke to the young people. He challenged us, yes, but it's so, it was so intimate.

00:56:57.380 Yeah, I'll use that word. You know, that's where I came up with the name JP2. It's like you'd be at a 1.00

00:57:03.240 World Youth Day and the whole, the whole crowd would just start chanting JP2. They weren't calling him

00:57:11.420 Pope Francis or, you know what I mean? Proper JP2. That's an intimate, right? We love you. And then he

00:57:21.120 would shout back from the microphone, JP2 loves you too.

00:57:25.500 Boom, John Paul inspired so much. I know because when I got back from World Youth Day, 92,

00:57:33.160 we started with a bunch of chaperones, basically, who were with the Toronto group, started a prayer

00:57:41.080 group. That was a hugely powerful prayer group, but I had this feeling in the prayer group,

00:57:48.100 we were in trouble. Our Lord wasn't going to let us stay together. There's way too many leaders

00:57:53.840 because they were like the ones who organized it in the first place. There was just a whole bunch of,

00:58:00.480 like I could see, natural born leaders in the group. And sure enough, after a few years,

00:58:05.760 we were all over the place. And it was true. And they're all leading different things right now.

00:58:11.160 It's quite amazing. The Knights is now in other countries, which is really weird. Yes, it's in

00:58:16.000 Canada, but Canada, the United States, you know, we're not the 51st state yet, but you know, it's not.

00:58:22.980 We've been so close for so long, it almost seems like the same. But you have the Knights

00:58:27.860 on different continents. Yeah. That must be really weird. And what is that? What have you

00:58:33.140 seen of that? I don't see much, right? Because I'm not a, I'm really not a technical guy. We have

00:58:39.280 our website group sign up. According to Timothy in Ireland, brilliant guy, by the way, I love him.

00:58:47.640 Finally got to meet him in Kansas City at the Rome Life Forum. Last county told me there was 15 or 16

00:58:53.240 countries that there's guys in, including Slovakia, right? But I know, I know how we ended up in the

00:59:00.680 Philippines. There was a nun in the Rome Life Forum in Rome, right? Everybody else is in suit and ties, 0.99

00:59:09.460 but I dress like a knight, even at these fancy things. I figure I got to, I always got to be ready

00:59:14.600 for battle. But she came up to me and she was from the Philippines and she wanted all the information 0.98

00:59:22.040 I had. She's like, I know the guys I'm going to talk to. And I don't know, we kind of seem like

00:59:26.900 in a lull right now, although I haven't checked the website. I don't, I don't even think I know how to

00:59:31.420 check like where you people sign up. Once we got going, I'll be honest with you, because I tend to

00:59:39.260 think big. I want to see two knights in every town across the globe. I don't think it takes

00:59:45.180 more than two. When you've got that army behind you, I don't know as if that, it's so Lord of the

00:59:53.940 Rings, right? The man who can summon that army will be the deadliest force the world's ever seen.

01:00:06.300 Now we're not calling this a deadly force, but it is going to be for the demons.

01:00:11.080 Okay. And in the context in Lord of the Rings, it's like whoever can wield this sword,

01:00:16.620 the man who can wield this sword. And I think I spoke about this at the Rome Life Forum in Rome

01:00:22.000 is that the reality is every one of us who's a baptized Catholic confirmed in a state of grace

01:00:31.800 can wield that sword, can call on that army. Now in the movie, only Aragon could, because he was the

01:00:38.900 king to be, he was the bloodline. But in reality, every Catholic can. And on the back of our t-shirts,

01:00:47.420 that's for every Catholic. I've given you the power. Yeah, that's my, that's my vision,

01:00:54.660 you'd say is I let two men in every town. Now, how the, I don't know, you know, I'm just a little

01:01:01.100 guy in Vermont, spend most of my days in the woods cutting trees. The ease, relative ease of the whole

01:01:08.820 thing, because you, you don't, there's no dues. There's no nothing there. Basically, all it is,

01:01:16.600 is a simple prayer for summoning of the heavenly army, which is super powerful all by itself.

01:01:21.180 But then it's the Holy Rose. Yeah. But then Jesus' prescription of go in twos. Yeah. And that's

01:01:27.580 basically the whole thing. The, the neat part for me about it is that simplicity combined with the

01:01:35.180 power that we all believe is really there, um, is just a deadly combination because it speaks to our

01:01:43.160 littleness because you really think about what we're up against. We're not even up against, which would be

01:01:49.740 bad enough. The globalists with their smarts and their money and their control and their spying and

01:01:55.440 ever, that's not it. If that were it, it'd be like, okay, well, let's do a war council and try and figure

01:02:00.780 we got some smart guys on our side too. That's not it. We're up against the heavenly powers, which,

01:02:05.480 which are there beyond anything we can muster. And the only, the only help we have is this. So

01:02:13.860 in a very real way, you're doing the only battle in the only way how now we might be called to do

01:02:22.600 other things like joining or get elected to the council or whatever, but it still comes from this

01:02:30.160 source. So you, you laid out what your hopes are for the future. Um, do you have any sense for a role

01:02:41.320 for the nights in the times to come? Because the times we're living in are really weird. It is,

01:02:47.260 even though right now in the U S there's some positive things happening. If you look on a global

01:02:53.880 scale and it might be hard for people in the U S to, to recognize on a global scale, things are,

01:03:00.120 imagine not improving. Imagine Biden having stayed in, imagine it just not only continuing,

01:03:08.560 but at a pace that you thought the pace that Donald Trump is trying to reverse thing, but going

01:03:13.540 forward, imagine how sick you'd feel. Well, that's the rest of the world right now. From that

01:03:18.880 perspective, things look dangerous in terms of an ultimate evil type of thing. What's your thought

01:03:26.000 your, um, you know, in terms of the times to come, I just had, uh, Xavier era, who, you know,

01:03:33.320 um, who's been at real life forum, come and talk to me. We did interview both with him and with

01:03:39.400 others. Uh, Luz de Maria was just on, they're talking about antichrist being not only a reality

01:03:46.100 for the future as in, you know, 40, 50 years. No, no, no, no, no. They're talking like imminent

01:03:52.080 future, like within a decade type of thing. Your thoughts on any of that and the nights, uh,

01:03:58.800 if they have any role that way. I got to go back in. I always got to go back to JP. It's like

01:04:03.320 1976, Philadelphia. We are entering into the final confrontation. And he mentioned between

01:04:12.040 Christ and the antichrist. Now we have mystics, some approved by their bishop saying he's walking

01:04:19.800 among us, the antichrist, and he's getting soon to reveal himself publicly. So yeah, I believe that.

01:04:27.580 And do I believe me and a group of knights can go up and go out and fight against them?

01:04:32.960 Sure. I do. No, and I know that might sound cocky, right? But it says right in Luke, I've

01:04:40.920 given you the power to tread upon the full force of the enemy. Well, what's the full force of the

01:04:45.480 enemy? If not the antichrist in all of salvation history, there's one point where the full force

01:04:52.760 would be that period. And we've been given the power to tread on it. Not just the knights, but

01:04:58.800 there's also the other prophecies. And I got to bring this up because you brought up Xavier. And a

01:05:05.720 lot of people that follow life say they follow Xavier as well. Um, I think it's a French accent.

01:05:12.080 Everybody likes. He talks a lot about the great French monarch and, and these two men,

01:05:18.440 they're going to collide. Tough. What, who's the great French monarch? What is that?

01:05:24.700 Well, it's prophecies. You can find, uh, mystics and saints going back six, 700 years talking about

01:05:32.980 this period of time would come when God would raise up a great king, a monarch to basically reconquer

01:05:41.340 Christendom to fight against the evil forces. The world would be in darkness. Okay. Now over the

01:05:49.640 centuries, we start coming across, um, mystics like Marie-Julie Jeheny or the messages of La Salette,

01:05:58.340 which got more specific, a French monarch who's been in exile, right? Because Louis XVI and the Antoinette,

01:06:08.620 they were executed, but it's a lineage of Louis XVI whisked away in hiding for 250 years.

01:06:19.480 But the line has survived. It's so like Lord of the Rings. I just get, you're right. Because

01:06:25.200 Aragon has, he survived. He's the heir to the throne. He knows he is in the case. It's just my personal

01:06:35.300 opinion. Some of this is like, and I'll say when I think it's my personal opinion, he may not,

01:06:42.220 French monarch, the king to be may not even know who he is right now. Okay. I think that's how hidden

01:06:48.900 the Blessed Mothers kept him. Okay. Um, because as Xavier says, the, the enemies, the Freemasons, the, 0.68

01:06:57.460 would take him out just like they tried to take the Aragon out. That's why he had to go into hiding

01:07:03.880 with the elves for 70 years. I believe those, um, prophecies, they make sense. France is the eldest

01:07:15.020 daughter of the church, and she's probably fallen the furthest. It's stunning because it doesn't look

01:07:20.940 like, you know, a sign of, uh, especially what they're doing now with, uh, Macron and, and getting

01:07:28.600 rid of the pen and everything else. This is all insane. You know, the, the countries that are 1.00

01:07:33.920 basically, they're criminalizing any, a different opinion. I believe he's going to be coming on the

01:07:41.180 scene probably about the same time. You're going to have the Antichrist. You're going to have the

01:07:46.280 great French monarch, but the great French monarch is going to need an army of warriors.

01:07:53.840 Maybe a little grandiose, cocky on my part, but I think the Knights have at least some small part

01:07:59.920 to play. The Knights of JP too. I think we'll get some kind of a role. Okay. Myself, I want a front

01:08:06.520 line. I mean, you know, I want to be the, the, the first guy he's in. Um, but that's not my call.

01:08:13.440 It's so, so exciting to be alive right now. Xavier beat me to the punch the year before

01:08:22.680 Kansas city. He was on a podcast and he wanted to be the first Frenchman to give his allegiance

01:08:29.340 to the King to come great French monarch. And he did it publicly. So in Kansas city, I had the

01:08:36.100 opportunity to do it publicly. Right. As a first American Frenchman and Xavier often mentions this

01:08:45.960 because he's, he's done a lot of interviews on, on this recently. And when he gets talking

01:08:51.440 about the French monarch, he often says, I wouldn't be surprised if he's watching right now.

01:08:56.600 Okay. True. And so I'm going to say the same thing right now. And if he is watching, remember

01:09:07.100 this crazy lumberjack from Vermont. I want some kind of a job in your, I'm going to call it 0.59

01:09:14.220 a fellowship, just like Lord of the Rings, a fellowship. I want some job, right?

01:09:20.600 What is the, the sort of fealty, the oath that, uh, that you made?

01:09:27.160 And you got to learn this gentlemen, you have to learn this. It's not very difficult. It took me

01:09:31.900 one night over your heart, your chest, my soul to God, my life to the King, my heart to Mary,

01:09:44.540 my honor to myself. We were going to wrap up now. So I wanted to get any final thoughts that you've

01:09:51.720 had. I mean, have some excitement. The fact that the saints long to live in these times,

01:09:58.240 they long to live in these times. It's only going to happen once in the history, right?

01:10:05.080 And God's put you here and he has a role for you. He has a role for me. He's got a mission for every

01:10:11.480 person. Some, obviously a lot of different missions, right? But did, you know, this evil

01:10:18.680 is coming at us. Don't be afraid. We have God's power with us. Just to be clear, you're not saying

01:10:25.300 that you won't, that in the battle, you won't be martyred. No. Yeah. So I think a lot of people

01:10:32.220 think when they say victory, they think you mean, uh, you know, you're going to be victorious

01:10:37.340 in a worldly sense, but it is victorious to be martyred. In fact, it's the greatest victory.

01:10:44.540 Yeah. It's the greatest victory. Um, but, but I believe, yeah, martyred, but if that's where

01:10:52.340 God's mission is for you, um, don't fret, right? One of the Franciscans out of New York there,

01:11:00.220 you know, he used to always say, don't think about martyrdom. And if you're going to be strong

01:11:07.400 enough for anything like that, you don't get on the train unless you get the ticket, right? So if

01:11:12.760 God calls you to that, he's going to give you the grace. So, yeah, but on the same level, I do believe,

01:11:18.200 you know, temporarily we're going to be victorious too. Now, I don't know if I'll make it to the end of

01:11:23.980 that battle. You know, I could get killed in the first one, right? Um, but it doesn't matter.

01:11:30.780 Yeah. I'm in it now. We all are. So you're, you're already in the battle. Um, and, and a lot of people

01:11:40.320 out there are probably already engaged in the mission where the Lord wants them. Now, now there's

01:11:48.400 probably going to be a lot of events that happened that may throw things off. And then you find, oh,

01:11:55.020 well, the Lord wants me to do this now. You know what I mean? So kind of be, kind of be like,

01:11:59.860 I guess I compare it to our, uh, a good military strategist. It's like you have your plans and this

01:12:05.860 and that, but then something changes. And so you have to adjust. Um, but this is an adventure.

01:12:13.260 I mean, just like Lord of the Rings, it's like, this is an adventure that we're the only generation

01:12:19.500 gets to experience this adventure. Um, so you might as well enjoy it.

01:12:24.820 Again, Knights of John Paul, Knights of St. John Paul 2.org is where to go. Um, Daniel,

01:12:32.780 uh, thank you so much for joining us. Um, you're coming to, uh, Roman Life Forum, are you this year?

01:12:38.940 It's my plan to, I hope to. November 3rd, 4th in Rome. Uh, that's the first time we met was in Rome

01:12:46.020 in, but two, three years ago there. Yeah. And, uh, just, this is what, uh, you know,

01:12:54.460 one of the things that we're doing, it's, it's a battle there. We were actually in Rome, uh, doing

01:12:59.340 some prayers, summoning prayers as well, uh, in the city that really needs it. And in fact,

01:13:06.100 if you could bring a contingent of the Knights to Rome, that's one thing that we haven't really

01:13:11.960 officially announced yet, but I might as well. In addition to the Rome Life Forum on the 3rd and

01:13:17.640 the 4th of November, there's going to be a penitential walking, praying pilgrimage with

01:13:26.860 Bishop Strickland all around the streets of Rome. It's going to be an eight hour rosary

01:13:33.700 procession just through the streets of Rome with Bishop Strickland. That, if anybody is interested

01:13:41.980 in that, get walking practice in now, because that's going to be arduous. But of all the cities

01:13:49.380 that need to be taken back for Christ and his Holy Mother, Rome is first. 0.93

01:13:55.760 Oh, I'm all over that. As long as I got the funds, I'll be there. But I have a suggestion,

01:14:01.480 seeing how Bishop Strickland is our chaplain for the Knights. This eight hour, I love this kind of

01:14:08.260 stuff. This eight hour rosary procession, maybe he could lead us in the prayer to summon the army

01:14:15.260 before we start.

01:14:16.260 Oh, amen.

01:14:17.360 We might as well have the army with us.

01:14:19.340 Amen. That's a great idea. That's a great idea. Daniel Potman, thank you, my friend.

01:14:24.220 Thank you so much, John Henry.

01:14:26.560 And God bless all of you. And we'll see you next time.
