00:01:36.400 But before we get started, let's begin, as we always do, with the sign of the cross.

00:01:47.580 So, we are here in the season of Lent for all the non-Catholics in the room.

00:01:54.360 Just started the greatest period in the year.
00:01:58.380 That sounds weird for all the Catholics in the room, I know.

00:02:02.540 We make the sign of the cross before we start everything because, what did Jesus say?
00:02:06.200 He said, if you love me, if you love me, take up your cross and follow me.
00:02:10.560 In fact, deny yourself and take up your cross daily and follow me.

00:02:16.220 But Lent is a great opportunity for that because, you know, I don't know about you,

00:02:22.560 Like, you have the best intention in the morning, like, yeah, I'm going to fast today.

00:03:56.340 Trudeau's a young Biden, who is also Catholic, by the way, who has given the worst example of Catholicism you could ever imagine, just like Biden.

00:04:06.520 Well, you had Kennedy for a little while, but he was shocked.
00:04:08.160 But nonetheless, you never had that before Biden.
00:04:11.960 Imagine living through that for a decade.

00:04:19.220 So he said he'd resign when they choose a new leader.

00:04:23.220 It was his only play to stay in for a long time.

00:04:26.900 So we have a similar thing going on in the Catholic Church.
00:04:36.120 And this is tough.
00:04:37.300 And it's going to be tough for Catholics in the room to hear.
00:04:39.340 We've had that revolution in the church going on for 13 years.
00:04:42.380 There's something really eerily similar about what America just experienced under Biden and what the Catholic Church has experienced.
00:04:51.080 And this is why this comparison will work very well, especially to explain or make people understand what the church is going through.
00:05:02.780 And I'm going to start with the one thing that is so characteristic of the Trumpian revolution, counter-revolution, you might say.
00:05:12.080 And it's about borders.
00:05:15.360 You could say that a country without a border is not a country.
00:05:24.880 Well, it's true.
00:05:25.800 If we had no border, there would be no country, right?
00:05:28.080 That's patently obvious.
00:05:29.900 But there's something that's really neat about borders that helps us understand what's going on in the church.
00:05:35.500 First of all, you had your president, your own leader, flood America with millions of illegal migrants, overwhelming states and cities and taxpayers.
00:05:49.940 And many of them were not just your innocent people who wanted to come over for freedom.
00:05:56.060 Many of them were criminals, even non-criminals, and nonetheless allowed in.
00:06:00.660 It empowered drug cartels to do all sorts of damage and traffic all sorts of children.
00:06:06.220 And that probably is the worst thing.
00:06:09.280 But you also had a prioritization of foreigners over your own poor.
00:06:16.380 It was very strange.
00:06:18.420 It was very, very weird.
00:06:20.220 How is this happening?
00:06:21.260 And that's why you had one of the largest voting blocs that turned your election was actually Hispanic Americans who said, wait a minute.
00:06:33.180 Like, we're here struggling and they're bringing in people.
00:06:36.420 Yeah, they're coming from Mexico, my homeland.
00:06:37.940 But A, what about us?
00:06:40.640 We're already here.
00:06:41.240 We're already Americans.
00:06:42.280 What's going on?
00:06:42.980 It was a tough issue.
00:06:44.700 And it was tough to live in America, especially when you were confronted with this problem.
00:06:49.320 Imagine your own compatriots living near the border and having to deal with it.
00:06:54.420 Imagine those whose children got even killed and all sorts of things.
00:07:03.060 And your leader was allowing this, was encouraging this.
00:07:07.440 On behalf of the church, it's much more serious.
00:07:09.280 Because even though Pope Francis criticized Donald Trump for having walls, despite the fact that the Vatican has huge walls, there's another, the comparison is much more severe.
00:07:23.840 Because in terms of the church, just like I said, with a country without borders is not really a country.
00:07:30.740 Well, a church without doctrinal walls, without walls of dogma, is not a church.
00:07:40.700 And that's where the most serious thing lies.
00:07:47.220 Moral and theological clarity in the church has been abandoned.
00:07:50.460 And it's been abandoned for 13 years.
00:07:52.680 Many of us will not know the extent of this.
00:07:55.500 I'm writing a book on it because it's so severe.
00:07:57.960 I'm going to give you a tiny, tiny, tiny glimpse of how severe this is.
00:08:04.360 One of the things is the Pope saying out loud that all religions are a pathway to God.
00:08:13.100 Think about this for a second.
00:08:16.140 Martyrs were martyred because they wouldn't give in to denying that Christ was the only way.
00:08:29.340 In fact, this is the 10-year anniversary of very modern martyrs.
00:08:37.060 Ten years ago, there were 21 Coptic Christians dragged out on a beach, on TV for us all to see, on social media everywhere.
00:08:52.240 And we literally watched as they had their throats slit on a beach.
00:08:59.340 They put them all in orange jumpsuits.
00:09:04.260 The problem was that the Islamic militants didn't gag them.
00:09:12.320 Because they thought, I'm sure, oh my gosh, they're going to like beg for mercy.
00:09:16.040 They didn't, you know what they begged for?
00:09:17.260 Jesus Christ.
00:09:18.980 It was the most beautiful display of watching martyrdom we could ever experience because it was live and filmed for us.
00:09:28.300 They were trying to horrify us.
00:09:30.040 And it gave us the glory of the representation of fidelity to Christ like we'd never seen before.
00:09:36.980 Yet the Pope says something that blows up all the barriers of the doctrine in the church.
00:09:44.940 That basically says, the martyrs, they could have gone that way because it's just another way.
00:09:51.660 It's another way to God.
00:09:52.560 It's no problem.
00:09:55.220 It's so weird that you'd have the head of the Catholic Church saying this, knowing the lives of the martyrs throughout 2,000 years.

00:10:35.380 There are different languages and different languages to arrive at God.
00:10:41.420 Sort of a comparison and an example would be there are sort of like different languages in order to arrive at God.

00:12:00.600 Look, your own Thomas Jefferson said this.
00:12:03.380 He said, the government you elect is the government you deserve.
00:12:08.040 Additionally, in 1816, in a letter to Samuel Kirchival, Jefferson warned about the dangers of government corruption and the responsibility of the people.
00:12:15.320 He said, if a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.
00:12:25.320 You can't be ignorant and free.
00:12:28.360 You can't just not pay any attention.
00:12:30.080 Exactly the same in the Old Testament.
00:12:32.760 We got the teaching that God permits unjust rulers as a chastisement for people's sins.
00:12:37.900 You see that with Saul, with Nebuchadnezzar.
00:12:41.460 St. Augustine wrote in the City of God,
00:12:43.040 If the people are corrupt and depraved, they will necessarily demand wicked rulers like themselves.
00:12:51.680 And St. Thomas Aquinas put it this way,
00:12:54.400 If the people become corrupt, they will tolerate a corrupt ruler.
00:13:03.360 Do you know, the most powerful witness to that is not from any of those.
00:13:08.420 It's from St. John Hughes.
00:13:09.680 He was a priest in France who lived at the beginning of the 17th century.
00:13:15.840 He said,
00:13:17.260 The most, and this pertains to the church now,
00:13:20.500 He said,
00:13:21.040 The most evident mark of God's anger and the most terrible castigation he can inflict upon the world
00:13:28.700 is manifest when he permits his people to fall into the hands of clerics
00:13:34.800 who are priests more in name than in deed.
00:13:38.860 priests who practice the cruelty of ravening wolves rather than charity and affection of devoted shepherds.
00:13:47.600 And so we actually know the solution.
00:13:51.960 And I'll come back to the solution because that's the most important part.
00:13:55.540 But we've got to know how severe what I'm talking about is.
00:13:59.240 In addition to the all religions are pathways to God.
00:14:07.120 The Pope spoke last year on television about how he believes hell is empty.
00:14:13.720 Before in an interview with Eugenio Scalfari, he said there is no hell.
00:14:18.260 When Scalfari pressed him, then what happens to people who don't want to go to heaven?
00:14:22.560 Is God going to force them?
00:14:23.600 And the Pope said, no, they are annihilated.
00:14:27.240 Now, of course, those come with, you know, a proviso that Eugenio Scalfari is one of those guys who doesn't take notes.
00:14:34.920 He goes home and writes it up when he's finished the interview.
00:14:38.880 Except, if that was such a problem, why did the Pope go to him for interviews?
00:14:44.420 Who's, I don't know, like over half a dozen times?
00:14:49.080 He's called the Pope's favorite interviewer.
00:14:52.860 But nonetheless, we know the Pope said he believes hell is empty because he said it on television.
00:14:58.600 Also, in Amoris Laetitia, which is an official document of the church, it's an exhortation.
00:15:05.280 He said, no one can be condemned forever.
00:15:08.400 That's not the message of the gospel.
00:15:10.160 Also, that was one of the articles in Amoris Laetitia called out for heresy by some of the world's greatest theologians who had the temerity to publicly confront Francis in the midst of all sorts of condemnation.
00:15:25.680 Just the other day, I had on my show Monsignor Charles Pope, great Monsignor in Washington, D.C.
00:15:34.020 God knows how he survives in Washington, D.C.
00:15:36.040 But nonetheless, he's there.
00:15:37.320 He's written a new book on hell.
00:15:39.200 He told me something truly fascinating.
00:15:41.820 You know, in the Bible, we only read 31 sermons of Jesus.
00:15:48.200 31.
00:15:50.780 You know that 21 of them dealt with hell?
00:15:55.340 I'm like, Jesus is the most hell preacher in the whole Bible.
00:16:00.760 Guaranteed, no comparison, nobody even comes close.
00:16:03.480 Not even John the Baptist.
00:16:04.440 So, really?
00:16:09.060 Not only did he preach on hell, and remember, this is the greatest lover of mankind.
00:16:17.100 He loves you more than anyone ever will.
00:16:23.120 And yet, he's preaching about hell.
00:16:25.800 It's because he loves you.
00:16:26.900 The apostles would ask him, hey, like, is anybody going to get to heaven?
00:16:39.240 It was that bad.
00:16:40.600 Do you remember the parable?
00:16:41.340 We heard it in mass just like a week ago or so.
00:16:44.280 It's the camel through the eye of the needle.
00:16:46.120 Because he explains, it's easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
00:16:54.620 The apostles respond, sheesh, then who can be saved?
00:16:58.740 The Lord doesn't reply, everyone, it's no problem.

00:17:03.280 He says, for man, this is impossible.
00:17:07.840 But with God, all things are possible.
00:17:11.520 It's a huge thing to deny Jesus.
00:17:14.220 It's a huge thing to intimate that Jesus is a liar.
00:17:19.860 He said, narrow is the road that leads to life, and few there are that find it.

00:17:25.780 They're in the Bible.
00:17:26.820 I'm a Catholic, so I can't tell you scripture and verse right away.
00:17:29.000 But he said, broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many there are that go therein.
00:17:40.240 Jesus' words, not mine.
00:17:42.240 If you believe Jesus, many are in hell, and few are in heaven.
00:17:50.920 And that's devastating.
00:17:53.120 But it's the truth.
00:17:55.080 It's a truth from which we can't hide.
00:17:57.000 And it's the truth that should motivate all of us.
00:18:05.080 If you know your brother or your sister or your mother or your father or your cousin or your own children
00:18:12.060 have the potential to be separated from our Lord Jesus Christ in eternity,

00:18:33.760 Our Lord asks us to be his hands and his feet.
00:18:36.220 Our Lord puts you in their lives to bring them to him, to bring them to eternal life,
00:18:44.400 to save not only their bodies, which I know you all do, but to save their souls.
00:18:50.740 The Pope presided, now years ago, and famously, over an idolatry, a literal idolatry in the Vatican.
00:19:01.220 I won't even show you the video because it's been seen horrifically so many times,
00:19:07.280 where all sorts of Catholics sat in front of the Pope and various cardinals
00:19:15.440 as they prostrated themselves, heads to the ground, literally on their knees,
00:19:19.900 heads to the ground before two idols of Pachamama, the earth goddess, Mother Earth.
00:19:27.660 How many in this room have not heard of that before?
00:19:33.260 Gosh, I can't believe that.
00:19:34.560 But anyway, some of you haven't heard of it, but the majority have.
00:19:37.860 You can look it up. It's horrific. I won't show it here.
00:19:42.940 It's the saddest thing.
00:19:44.020 Many people said, oh, it's not really Pachamama.
00:19:46.240 It's like Our Lady and the, you know, Elizabeth,
00:19:50.300 and they were like both pregnant together.
00:19:53.800 First of all, they were nude.
00:19:55.440 And secondly, the Pope was caught on the hot mic.
00:19:58.000 Saying it was Pachamama.
00:19:59.880 And since then, it's been avowed over and over again.
00:20:04.620 If it were just that they did that in front of him and he didn't condemn it,
00:20:08.620 it would be bad enough.
00:20:10.100 But he didn't.
00:20:11.420 They brought the idol over to him and he blessed it.
00:20:14.780 Then they processed the idol in a canoe into St. Peter's Basilica, the main church.
00:20:20.540 And they all said prayers around it, including the Pope and the Cardinals.
00:20:25.880 So there's idolatry right there.
00:20:28.760 That's the first commandment.
00:20:30.640 And what really, I think, turned the tide for a lot of Americans.
00:20:34.720 And you've got one of the premier spokesmen to this issue here this year.
00:20:42.140 Riley Gaines was so personally affected by the criminality, really,
00:20:48.560 that Biden allowed and promoted in the United States.
00:20:51.060 By this mockery of God's ordained creation.
00:20:56.200 By saying, man is a woman, as a woman is a man.
00:20:59.580 He destroyed Riley Gaines' career.
00:21:04.780 But just like God, he's so faithful.
00:21:07.080 That destruction of her career, of her sport,
00:21:12.800 turned her into a warrior for Christ like none other.
00:21:16.800 A warrior whose example of the suffering that she endured
00:21:20.980 drove America to reject the usurper.
00:21:25.980 Drove America to common sense.
00:21:29.220 And so, I must tell you, too,
00:21:38.500 that I've been driven by a very personal experience
00:21:42.220 when it comes to Pope Francis.
00:21:46.340 You see, I raised my kids, like all good Catholics should,
00:21:52.240 with the teaching of the faith.
00:21:54.120 I was raised myself in the Baltimore Catechism.
00:21:56.980 Yes, and it's from Baltimore, United States.
00:21:59.220 And I taught my kids that way as well.
00:22:04.160 And you're taught that you're to look up to your spiritual leaders.
00:22:07.980 You're taught that your ordained ministers
00:22:10.220 are the representatives of Christ to you, locally especially.
00:22:15.180 You're supposed to listen to your priest.
00:22:16.360 These are the people who have the heart of Christ for you.
00:22:20.780 That's their whole mission in life.
00:22:22.620 They give up having family of their own
00:22:24.980 so they can be Christ out to you.
00:22:28.000 That's what it's supposed to be.
00:22:30.860 And we believe in leadership in the church
00:22:33.460 and in the Pope,
00:22:36.360 who Catholics are supposed to submit to in mind and will
00:22:39.520 in his official teaching.
00:22:41.500 And so on July 16, 2016,
00:22:46.280 the Pope gave a talk in Rome
00:22:47.980 where he was speaking about people in northern Argentina
00:22:53.060 who were Catholics,
00:22:56.660 but they never got married.
00:22:59.240 He said their marriages were so faithful.
00:23:02.200 men were like scared of marriage.
00:23:07.140 You know, though, by the time they had grandchildren,
00:23:09.580 most of them did get married.
00:23:11.720 But the Pope said,
00:23:12.720 because of that fidelity,
00:23:15.580 those are real marriages,
00:23:17.160 and they have the grace of real marriage.
00:23:21.740 My daughter called from university
00:23:23.660 is to say,

00:23:26.360 is it true?
00:23:28.160 Is it true that the Pope said
00:23:29.760 cohabitation is real marriage
00:23:30.900 and has the grace of real marriage?

00:23:35.560 I asked many cardinals since then,
00:23:37.200 was I supposed to lie to my daughter?
00:23:40.220 Who is a child to believe
00:23:41.380 about a matter of faith and morals?

00:23:46.020 or the Pope?
00:23:50.460 And so it was a very personal experience, too,
