00:00:16.560 You might not have seen that they're all about population control, but we're going to get

00:00:20.900 But remember, as we get into this subject, that the very first commandment to all mankind,
00:00:26.540 this is in the scriptures, you'll read it in Genesis 1.28, it was this, it was very simple.

00:00:34.900 Fill the earth and subdue it, said the good Lord God to mankind, as his first, very first
00:00:42.200 sort of commandment that you'll ever read in the scriptures.
00:00:44.820 So the devil is all about the opposite of God.
00:00:48.660 And thus, you have heard for millennia, actually, the want to curb fertility and cut down the
00:00:54.840 population of the earth.

00:02:04.840 Now, you'd think with such a strong admonition from the Scriptures that the Church would be
00:02:13.160 very steadfast in maintaining its belief on life, family, and culture, and propagating
00:02:21.960 life, the truth of what God told us, to be fruitful and multiply.
00:02:25.280 But Pope Francis is actually going totally against the roots of Catholicism with the concept of
00:02:33.700 population control.
00:02:35.320 But let's look at it first from the beginning and see how, even in the earliest of times,
00:02:42.540 there was a move to curb the world's population.
00:02:44.980 In fact, in Exodus, the Egyptian pharaoh called for the genocide of male Israelite children.
00:02:51.240 If you remember, he said to his people,
00:02:54.840 Behold, the people of the children of Israel are numerous and stronger than we.
00:02:59.280 Come, let us wisely oppress them, lest they multiply.
00:03:03.340 And if any war shall rise against us, join with our enemies, and having overcome us, depart out of the land.
00:03:10.860 You'll find that in Exodus 1, 9-10.
00:03:14.940 But the more they oppressed them, the more they were multiplied and increased, say the Scriptures,
00:03:19.880 and the Egyptians hated the children of Israel and afflicted them and mocked them.
00:03:25.480 And the king of Egypt spoke to the midwives of the Hebrews, of whom one was called Sephora and the other
00:03:32.100 Fuah, commanding them,
00:03:34.920 When you shall do the office of midwives to the Hebrew women, and at the time of delivery has come,
00:03:41.060 if it be a man-child, kill it, and if it a woman, keep it alive.

00:03:57.900 Herod called for the deaths of all newborn sons to thwart the coming of a king more powerful than himself, if you recall.

00:04:07.700 Then Herod, perceiving that he was deluded by the wise men, was exceedingly angry,
00:04:13.540 and sending, that's sending soldiers, killed all the male children that were in Bethlehem,
00:04:19.300 and in all the borders thereof, from two years old and under,
00:04:23.180 according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.
00:04:27.240 So in both cases, the Bible tells us of a ruling elite that fears the people that they are meant actually to serve.
00:04:34.500 Now, let's see how the modern push for population control compares to these biblical accounts.
00:04:41.520 How exactly did this push for population control come about in recent years?
00:04:46.100 Well, it's time for a little historical background.
00:04:49.700 Currently, concern for ecosystems seems to even outweigh the concern for human life at all.
00:04:56.120 An assortment of scientists and public figures have made statements about the dangers of overpopulation,
00:05:01.500 overpopulation, overpopulation by man, by the way, especially for other species on Earth.
00:05:07.940 In 2009, Professor Eric Pienka, an American herpetologist and evolutionary ecologist
00:05:14.720 in the biology department of the University of Texas at Austin,
00:05:18.180 was interviewed on his perspective on population control for the sake of other ecosystems.
00:05:24.400 Have a look at this.
00:05:25.160 There are too many of us on this Earth, and we are taking too much of the Earth and too many habitats,
00:05:31.080 and there are more people on this Earth than Earth can support.
00:05:34.440 And if that's not bad enough, he talks next about diseases that may thin the herd.
00:05:40.840 You've got to watch this for yourself.
00:05:42.180 It's going to look like, but it's going to be awful.

00:05:45.180 One of the most controversial quotes from this address that you gave,
00:05:49.140 it's been quoted in a lot of places, is about disease.
00:05:52.280 And you're talking about the various naturally occurring diseases that could thin the herd, basically.
00:05:58.040 You're talking about Ebola, and then you said,
00:05:59.600 HIV is too slow.
00:06:01.200 It's no good.
00:06:02.440 Most people think HIV isn't bad because it's too slow.
00:06:06.280 It's bad because it kills people.
00:06:07.400 What did you mean by that?
00:06:08.600 We are an epidemic waiting to happen.
00:06:11.500 And because we're so mobile and so dense, we can get on airplanes and fly across oceans.

00:06:24.260 ...and medical people are very, very concerned about the next pandemic.

00:06:33.180 He says, if we don't control our own population, the microbes will.
00:06:37.300 So, in 2010, and again in 2017, Prince William, very famous figure,
00:06:44.760 he spoke in the same kind of crazy terms about population control and the need for it
00:06:51.300 in his speeches honoring the Tusk Trust.
00:06:55.280 In his 2017 speech, he said, and I quote,
00:06:58.240 In my lifetime, we have seen global wildlife populations decline by over half.
00:07:05.620 Africa's rapidly growing human population is predicted to more than double by 2050.
00:07:11.000 A staggering increase of three and a half million people per month, he said.
00:07:16.040 There is no question, he added, that this increase puts wildlife and habitat under enormous pressure.
00:07:22.880 Water, urbanization, infrastructure development, cultivation, all good things in themselves.
00:07:28.040 But they will have a terrible impact unless we begin to plan and to make measures, to take measures now.
00:07:34.480 On human populations alone, overgrazing and poor water supplies could have a catastrophic effect
00:07:40.720 unless we start to think about how to mitigate these challenges.
00:07:44.680 He added, we are going to have to work much harder and think much deeper if we are to ensure that human beings
00:07:52.340 and the other species of animal with which we share this planet can continue to coexist, end quote.
00:08:00.660 The Prince received some backlash in the media, all echoing the same criticism,
00:08:06.360 that he was the father of three and ought to begin population control with his own, quote unquote, large family.
00:08:16.060 More recently, Jane Goodall, the English primatologist and anthropologist who was named a UN messenger of peace,
00:08:24.180 spoke at a press conference during the 50th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on January 22nd, 2020.
00:08:33.540 You know what? You've got to watch this one for yourself.
00:08:35.420 We cannot hide away from human population growth because, you know, it underlies so many of the other problems.
00:08:43.280 All these things we talk about wouldn't be a problem if there was the size of population that there was 500 years ago.
00:08:51.380 So it's unreal. These people are out front with these notions that many of us think, oh, it's conspiracy theory.
00:08:59.580 No one actually thinks like that. Well, sure enough, they do.
00:09:01.560 Her sentiments echo those of Professor Pienka and Prince William.
00:09:07.640 Even prominent church figures, and I have to say this is the saddest thing,
00:09:11.640 even prominent church figures have taken up this kind of population control propaganda.
00:09:17.060 In fact, even Pope Francis has.
00:09:18.720 In 2015, Pope Francis made these remarks concerning fertility, and I'll quote,
00:09:22.720 I believe that three children per family, from what the experts say, is the key number for sustaining the population.
00:09:31.840 The key word here is responsible parenthood, and each person works out how to exercise this with the help of their pastor.
00:09:39.900 Sorry, some people think, this is again, Pope Francis, sorry, some people think that in order to be good Catholics,
00:09:45.720 we have to breed like rabbits, right? Responsible parenthood. This is why there are marriage support groups in the church
00:09:53.260 with people who are experts on such issues, and there are pastors, and I know that there are many acceptable solutions
00:10:00.780 that have helped with this. And another thing, for poor people, children are a treasure.
00:10:06.040 Prudence is needed here, too. It is true. Responsible parenthood, but also recognizing the generosity
00:10:11.560 of that father or mother who see their child as a treasure, end quote.
00:10:18.820 It's hard to know what to say, but this is Pope Francis, as opposed to the constant teaching of the church,
00:10:26.260 and as we read before, the first commandment of God,
00:10:30.780 be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it.
00:10:34.380 So, it is an unbelievable thing, but it's no surprise for Pope Francis,
00:10:39.020 who has scandalized with his comments, and in fact, promoted contraception.

00:10:47.480 But, who are these experts in population that Pope Francis is referring to?
00:10:54.500 You know what? Sadly, most of these propagandists, and that's what they are, have come to the Vatican.
00:11:00.940 In fact, one of them is Bishop Marcelo Sanchez-Sarrando,
00:11:04.620 who was appointed by Pope Francis to be both the head of the Pontifical Council for Sciences and Social Sciences,
00:11:11.460 so two Vatican groups, and he heads them up, and under the reign of Pope Francis,
00:11:17.360 he's been inviting all the world's population controllers to the Vatican to speak.
00:11:23.700 But, let's begin with he himself.
00:11:27.060 In fact, Bishop Sarrando, in 2017, talked at the Vatican.
00:11:33.320 He was talking with birth control advocate John Bongartz, who he also invited to the Vatican, by the way,
00:11:38.620 about the population control issue.
00:11:40.980 Sarrando's connection to population control elite is actually very clear,
00:11:45.860 not only from his bringing them to the Vatican,
00:11:48.120 but also from their fetting him and having him sit
00:11:51.640 on the Leadership Council of the Sustainable Development Solution Network.
00:11:55.840 And that's an organization launched by then-UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon,
00:12:03.100 a man who promotes the so-called right to abortion worldwide
00:12:06.140 and has criticized the lack of safe abortions in conflict zones where it's illegal.
00:12:12.340 So, on the Leadership Council, alongside Bishop Sarrando,
00:12:16.260 are Jeffrey Sachs, Ted Turner.
00:12:18.980 They're probably two of the best-known promoters of coercive population control in the world.
00:12:23.960 So, speaking in broken English, Sarrando said,
00:12:28.760 I'll read it for you, but I want you to watch it for yourself as well,
00:12:31.680 that he's talked about not knowing that real teaching,
00:12:35.800 most people basically don't know the real teaching of the church,
00:12:38.800 on issues of population control.
00:12:41.660 And then he gets into it himself.
00:12:43.600 You know what?
00:12:44.220 You've got to hear it for yourself.
00:12:45.440 Listen.
00:12:45.660 Many times we don't know exactly what is the doctrine of the church.
00:12:51.380 We know some part, but not all the doctrine of the church about the question of fecundity.
00:12:58.080 Now, get this.
00:12:59.080 To that, he adds about what the church teaches on fertility according to him,
00:13:06.220 which is a completely new doctrine.
00:13:08.460 Listen to this.
00:13:09.020 The doctrine of procreation is the education of the women.
00:13:13.520 Because when we have education, we don't have children.
00:13:17.480 We don't have seven children.
00:13:19.000 Maybe we have one children, two children, no more.
00:13:22.880 And this is also an obligation for the church.
00:13:26.440 And after, and in the end,
00:13:29.400 I want to say that also in the catechism of the church,
00:13:33.540 say the state has a responsibly for its citizens well-being.
00:13:40.240 In his capacity, it is legitimate for the state
00:13:43.780 to intervene to orient the demography of the population.
00:13:48.360 And this is also an idea of the Catholic church.

00:14:17.060 if I or an angel from heaven were to come
00:14:19.180 and give you a different teaching from that of Christ, let him be anathema.
00:14:23.740 This sounds like it scores high on that level.
00:14:26.600 So, Sarando also invited, if you can believe it,
00:14:31.440 the father of population control himself, Paul Ehrlich,
00:14:35.240 to the Vatican Conference.
00:14:37.300 Paul Ehrlich is the one who wrote in the late 60s
00:14:39.800 the book The Population Bomb
00:14:41.200 that really launched a lot of this
00:14:42.660 with dire predictions about world overpopulation and unsustainability
00:14:46.280 and how, you know, we're all going to crumble
00:14:48.300 if there's too many people.
00:14:50.560 And Paul Ehrlich was invited to the Vatican.
00:14:52.720 Now, that seemed so insane
00:14:54.620 that LifeSite actually set up a petition.
00:14:57.020 We got 10,000 people to sign on
00:14:58.940 to beg the Pope, don't do this, don't go there.
00:15:02.000 That would be horrific.
00:15:03.220 Meantime, oh, by the way, the Pope, of course,
00:15:05.620 ignored that and let him come anyway.
00:15:07.160 But not only that,

00:15:21.840 with the direction in which Pope Francis

00:15:44.340 So, this stuff is as strange as strange can be.

00:15:53.260 why they invited Paul Ehrlich to the Vatican,

00:16:17.740 St. Thomas' principle of double effect.
00:16:20.840 Sarando even claimed that
00:16:21.960 Francis' declarations on the gravity
00:16:24.040 of global warming,
00:16:25.580 as expressed in the encyclical Laudato Si,
00:16:28.320 are magisterial.
00:16:30.420 They're magisterial teaching
00:16:31.660 that are equivalent to the church's condemnation
00:16:33.680 of other grave evils,
00:16:35.480 specifically abortion and euthanasia.
00:16:38.180 So, it seems that
00:16:39.440 these church officials
00:16:41.320 want to push this
00:16:44.280 radical environmentalism,
00:16:46.160 which just a little while ago
00:16:47.420 was radical environmentalism,
00:16:48.820 as if it were church teaching,
