The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 1410 - Cleaning Out The Homeless Encampments Just In Time For The Election

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Walsh Show, California begins to clean out the homeless encampments just in time for the election.

00:00:05.200 It's about the time when guys like Gavin Newsom temporarily pretend to care about the well-being of American families.

00:00:09.780 Also, the media on Hollywood continue to dogpile J.D. Vance for his completely true comments about childless cat ladies.

00:00:16.640 Kamala Harris makes a play for the drag queen vote. 1.00

00:00:19.060 And Chris Tyson, longtime collaborator with Mr. Beast, first transitioned into a woman and now has been accused of inappropriate conduct with minors.

00:00:27.500 What a shock. We'll talk about all that and more today.

00:00:29.540 Matt Walsh Show.

00:00:30.600 Saudi Arabia recently ended its 50-year petrodollar deal with the U.S.

00:01:00.580 which has the potential to weaken the U.S. dollar.

00:01:02.960 Since 1974, Saudi Arabia has sold oil solely in U.S. dollars, which was huge for our global economic dominance.

00:01:09.140 Now they want other options.

00:01:10.280 If there's less demand for the U.S. dollar, what happens to its value?

00:01:13.640 Well, it's for reasons like this that I feel it's important to diversify some of your savings into gold.

00:01:17.160 And you can do that with the help of Birch Gold.

00:01:19.500 Right now, qualifying purchases by July 31st are eligible to get a one-of-a-kind limited edition golden truth bomb.

00:01:25.260 The other way to claim your eligibility is by texting Walsh to 989898.

00:01:29.840 Protect your savings by diversifying away from the U.S. dollar with gold.

00:01:33.520 Text Walsh to 989898 and Birch Gold will help you convert an IRA, a 401k, into an IRA in gold for no money out of pocket.

00:01:40.760 Right now, qualifying purchases will get a limited edition golden truth bomb.

00:01:44.620 Text Walsh to 989898.

00:01:46.200 That's Walsh to 989898 today.

00:01:48.700 Imagine being a homeless guy in the state of California.

00:01:52.300 For most of the year, you're untouchable.

00:01:54.020 You can sleep completely naked right outside of an art gallery.

00:01:56.840 And if the gallery owner sprays you with a hose to get you to move, he's the one who gets arrested.

00:02:00.360 That's happened recently.

00:02:01.900 The district attorney will issue statements about how unhoused folks have the right to sleep wherever they want,

00:02:07.220 wearing or not wearing whatever clothes they want.

00:02:09.660 On top of that, the state provides millions of free syringes to help facilitate your drug habit,

00:02:13.660 complete with quote-unquote safe injection sites that function like open-air drug markets,

00:02:18.360 plus the weather's always nice.

00:02:20.240 So generally speaking, as a homeless person in the Golden State, you have it pretty good,

00:02:24.480 you know, all things considered.

00:02:25.740 But every once in a while on a dime, California's government completely changes its approach.

00:02:30.920 It's quite a role reversal.

00:02:32.840 Politicians suddenly become the schizophrenic ones themselves,

00:02:35.520 and they decide without any warning that all the homeless encampments have to be dismantled.

00:02:40.200 They hose down the sidewalks themselves.

00:02:42.040 They clear the place out like it's Tiananmen Square.

00:02:44.580 And they issue statements about the importance of orderly streets

00:02:47.280 and ending the scourge of lewd behavior in public libraries.

00:02:50.800 You might remember that this is what happened late last year

00:02:52.940 when the leader of China's Communist Party, Xi Jinping, visited the Bay Area.

00:02:58.460 Ahead of the visit, Gavin Newsom ordered a crackdown on homeless encampments and drug markets,

00:03:03.160 and he admitted he was only doing it because Xi Jinping was in town.

00:03:06.420 Quote,

00:03:07.040 Anytime you put on an event, by definition, you know you have people over at your house,

00:03:10.500 you're going to clean up the house.

00:03:12.680 That's what he said.

00:03:13.200 But, effectively, Gavin Newsom was admitting that California's decline is a choice.

00:03:17.120 The only reason they have so many homeless people, more than any other state by far,

00:03:21.280 is that they tolerate it.

00:03:22.760 In an instant, Gavin Newsom can make it all go away.

00:03:26.320 Now, somebody might have answered Newsom by pointing out that,

00:03:28.720 yeah, you want to clean up your house for guests,

00:03:31.000 but you also want to keep it orderly and clean for the people who actually live there every day.

00:03:35.360 But, Xi Jinping eventually left the Bay Area, so the homeless people filed back in, 1.00

00:03:40.740 started doing meth and defecating on the sidewalks again, just like old times,

00:03:44.300 as if they'd never been interrupted.

00:03:45.880 That continued until yesterday, when once again, out of the blue,

00:03:49.940 Gavin Newsom decided to put an end to it.

00:03:52.320 Watch.

00:03:53.700 Breaking news this morning.

00:03:54.940 We're hearing from Governor Gavin Newsom,

00:03:56.900 after he issued an executive order that directs local authorities to begin dismantling homeless encampments.

00:04:02.360 KTLA's Omar Lewis live now in Hollywood with those details.

00:04:07.000 Omar, good morning.

00:04:09.360 Jessica, good morning.

00:04:10.680 Yeah, that executive order from the governor is aimed at dismantling thousands of homeless encampments,

00:04:16.340 just like this one here on Hollywood Boulevard this morning.

00:04:19.620 The move follows a landmark Supreme Court decision,

00:04:22.660 which gave local leaders greater authority to remove homeless encampments.

00:04:27.500 Okay, so you hear in that news report that the reason that California is suddenly

00:04:31.400 able to clear all these encampments is that the Supreme Court recently allowed them to do it.

00:04:36.060 That's a reference to the Grants Pass case, which was decided a few weeks ago.

00:04:39.640 In its decision, the Supreme Court ruled that it is not cruel and unusual punishment

00:04:43.620 to prevent homeless people from camping out on public property,

00:04:46.340 even if there's no shelter they can go to.

00:04:48.780 It's obviously not.

00:04:50.420 Newsom himself made the same argument in a video posted to social media.

00:04:53.720 He said that he's been doing everything he possibly can to clear out the homeless,

00:04:56.500 and now that the Supreme Court has given him the green light, he can finally go forward with it.

00:05:02.160 Watch.

00:05:03.240 I don't think there's anything more urgent and more frustrating

00:05:06.580 than addressing the issue of encampments in the state of California.

00:05:09.720 In the course of the last number of years, the state has stepped up,

00:05:12.860 where in the past we provided no support, no resources to cities and counties

00:05:17.020 to clean up encampments like this.

00:05:18.540 Today, we've invested now over $1 billion in encampment resolution grants,

00:05:23.580 not only clean up sites like this, but to address the underlying issue in the first place.

00:05:28.300 One of the big issues, though, that has been an impediment was the courts.

00:05:32.960 In the past, the courts have denied the ability for local government,

00:05:36.140 including the state, to clean up many of these encampments.

00:05:38.740 Today, I announced an executive order to move the process forward.

00:05:42.580 We're done.

00:05:43.360 It's time to move with urgency.

00:05:45.520 Now, before we go any further, it's important to give credit where it's due,

00:05:50.220 to the extent that you can.

00:05:51.500 Solely on the merits, Gavin Newsom's order is obviously the right thing to do.

00:05:55.020 The homeless have no right to make our communities into unlivable garbage dumps. 0.53

00:06:00.160 The idea that they have the right to behave this way and to destroy communities is insane. 0.91

00:06:05.800 They have no right to do it.

00:06:08.280 As unpopular as it is to say, for the most part,

00:06:11.520 the homeless are not mere victims of circumstances.

00:06:15.100 These are not always, but very often, aggressive and dangerous vagrants

00:06:21.540 who actively make our communities unsafe.

00:06:24.320 And in many cases, again, not all, they are homeless

00:06:27.440 because they have decided to live their entire lives around,

00:06:31.440 revolve their entire lives around their drug habit.

00:06:34.120 And that's all that matters to them.

00:06:35.960 And they couldn't care less about you or your family or what they're doing to you.

00:06:40.180 Um, so there's been a huge excess of sympathy for these people,

00:06:45.560 but not nearly enough anger at what they're doing to our cities and the people that are

00:06:50.620 allowing them to do it.

00:06:51.800 So it's a good idea for Newsom's administration to file a brief at the Supreme Court during

00:06:55.240 the Grant's past case on the side of the city against the homeless encampments.

00:06:58.300 And it's good that Newsom is sticking with that position.

00:07:00.400 Now, at the same time, what Newsom is doing is also disingenuous.

00:07:03.120 And we know that because his excuse, blaming the courts for hamstringing him until now,

00:07:08.520 doesn't really make any sense.

00:07:09.520 First of all, he was able to clean out the homeless encampments just a few months ago

00:07:12.700 for China's president.

00:07:14.360 No court stopped that.

00:07:15.320 Additionally, for well over a decade,

00:07:16.800 Gavin Newsom has been vowing to end homelessness in California.

00:07:20.120 And courts in California didn't say it was cruel and unusual punishment

00:07:22.820 to evict homeless people from their encampments until 2018.

00:07:26.400 So what was the excuse pre-2018?

00:07:30.220 Newsom's going to need one because as far back as 2008,

00:07:32.940 he was saying that he would end chronic homelessness in San Francisco by building more houses.

00:07:37.600 He said that was the solution to chronic homelessness, not clearing encampments.

00:07:42.380 And he said it again and again.

00:07:44.320 Watch.

00:07:45.540 What we call a 10-year plan to end chronic homelessness in San Francisco.

00:07:50.040 How are you going to solve homelessness?

00:07:51.320 What are you going to do?

00:07:52.100 He's a new mayor.

00:07:53.000 And I said, well, what are you going to do?

00:07:54.360 Focus on a housing first model, direct access to housing.

00:07:57.180 Shelter, solve sleep.

00:07:58.500 Housing with wraparound and support services solve homelessness.

00:08:01.980 Homelessness absolutely can be solved. 1.00

00:08:04.920 Laid out a detailed homeless strategy.

00:08:06.980 There's been no intentionality on homelessness in this state for decades.

00:08:10.140 It's not been a focus.

00:08:11.280 I don't think we can solve homelessness.

00:08:12.900 I know we can solve homelessness.

00:08:14.660 We will reduce street homelessness quickly and humanely through emergency action.

00:08:19.820 The highest investment the state's ever made is $1 billion on homelessness.

00:08:23.200 We are poised to pass a budget in the next few hours that will provide $12 billion of investment.

00:08:31.340 I can literally quantify 58,000 people that we got off the streets last year.

00:08:37.300 And none of you would believe it.

00:08:39.200 The state has not made progress in the last two decades as it relates to homelessness.

00:08:44.240 We're not interested in funding failure.

00:08:46.180 We're not interested in failing more efficiently when it comes to the issue of homelessness and the crisis on the street.

00:08:51.500 So Newsom said that shelters solve sleep repeatedly for several years.

00:08:57.320 I've talked about this before on the show, but it bears repeating because it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

00:09:01.040 People in shelters still need to sleep.

00:09:03.740 Shelters do not solve sleep.

00:09:05.660 But apparently Newsom thought it was a compelling catchphrase.

00:09:07.960 Started saying it in 2008.

00:09:09.440 He was saying it as late as 2014.

00:09:11.600 It was the line that Newsom used to justify spending tens of billions of dollars to fix chronic homelessness.

00:09:15.840 Homelessness and his strategy didn't work, as this chart clearly demonstrates.

00:09:20.160 Homelessness in California has only increased in the past decade.

00:09:23.620 The courts in California didn't cause this. 0.68

00:09:26.360 At least they didn't cause it on their own.

00:09:27.820 It's a product of a few things.

00:09:29.160 Mainly the state's refusal to prosecute and imprison criminals.

00:09:33.140 It's encouragement of drug use.

00:09:35.060 And the glut of NGOs and law firms that work full time to keep these people on the street and destroying communities.

00:09:41.000 It's true the Supreme Court's ruling makes it easier to clear homeless concambents.

00:09:44.180 But that ruling is not why Newsom is suddenly reversing course.

00:09:47.980 He's reversing course because Democrats are now realizing they have to pretend to care about the basic security and safety of American communities if they want to win in November.

00:09:56.740 It's pretty telling that they only care about crime and homelessness during elections and if foreign dignitaries are visiting.

00:10:03.020 I'm kind of reminded on a smaller scale of some of my teachers in public school growing up.

00:10:07.760 The ones that were like really awful and incompetent and angry all the time and shouting.

00:10:11.700 But they suddenly became chipper and on the ball and had great activities for us to do and were teaching us when it was, you know, parent, when was the parent day to visit.

00:10:20.160 So it's a similar phenomenon here.

00:10:22.300 Last November, Newsom sprang into action because he got a call from Xi Jinping.

00:10:26.560 Maybe this time he got a call from Kamala Harris.

00:10:29.680 And that would make sense because right on cue, Harris is also acting more like a centrist Republican in some ways than the most liberal senator in Congress, which is what she really is.

00:10:38.600 She's even disavowing rioters.

00:10:41.740 The woman who raised bail money for BLM thugs is now claiming to be appalled by vandalism and political violence.

00:10:47.540 After her silence on Wednesday that we talked about, Harris posted this statement on social media on Thursday.

00:10:52.060 Quote,

00:10:52.280 Now, obviously everything she says there is true, but like Newsom, she's saying it for transparent and cynical reasons, which will immediately become null and void.

00:11:21.620 The moment the election is over.

00:11:23.280 You'll notice that nowhere in her statement does Harris mention the police officer who was violently dragged on the ground at Union Station yesterday.

00:11:29.180 She also doesn't demand any kind of accountability.

00:11:30.940 She doesn't call for an FBI drag net like the one that happened after January 6th, which she has compared to 9-11 in Pearl Harbor.

00:11:38.700 And that's noticeable because in this case, Harris is effectively the sitting president.

00:11:41.900 She has the authority to order the DOJ to create a sedition and conspiracy task force like the one the Biden administration oversaw after January 6th.

00:11:49.940 Harris could ensure that every single one of the vandals and rioters yesterday is hauled to prison, just like the grandmothers from January 6th were.

00:11:57.340 She could ensure consequences for the rioters who raised a foreign flag a half a mile from the nation's capital.

00:12:03.520 That would ensure that nothing like this ever happens again.

00:12:05.580 But she's not doing any of that because she understands that those rioters are her voters. 0.74

00:12:09.700 They are her base.

00:12:10.960 She can whack her finger at them. 1.00

00:12:13.060 And that'll take them off.

00:12:14.720 There are a lot of leftists who are upset with that statement, but she's not going to actually do anything to them.

00:12:19.840 We're seeing this kind of faux moderation all over the place.

00:12:22.240 It's the same reason Democrats are pretending that Harris was never named the border czar.

00:12:26.340 They know that she was put in charge of the border for the sole purpose of making sure it stayed open.

00:12:31.180 The corporate press, including the entirety of left-wing media, reported on that at the time.

00:12:36.020 But they know that open borders don't play well in the general election, so now they're pretending she had nothing to do with the border.

00:12:40.680 Now, you'd think that if the left thought that their position was tenable in the election, they would play this differently.

00:12:48.300 You know, Harris would come out and say, hell yeah, I was in charge of the border, and I opened it for everybody.

00:12:53.080 America is an idea, remember? 0.83

00:12:54.920 And everyone has a right to participate in this idea.

00:12:57.460 Isn't it great?

00:12:59.560 She's not saying that, though.

00:13:01.100 Instead, she's disavowing the whole mess, and the media is helping her.

00:13:04.060 Now, along the same lines, they're reacting with outrage that conservatives are calling Kamala Harris a DEI hire.

00:13:11.040 They're claiming this is a right-wing conspiracy theory to make people afraid of the DEI boogeyman.

00:13:15.680 But they know that Joe Biden explicitly limited his VP search to women, and they know that just a few months ago, Biden publicly called Harris a DEI hire himself.

00:13:24.900 Watch.

00:13:25.160 To me, the values of diversity, equality, inclusion are literally, and that's not kidding, the core strengths of America.

00:13:35.040 That's why I'm proud to have the most diverse administration history that taps into the full talents of our country and starts at the top with the vice president.

00:13:43.640 So, he said, I mean, it's always hard to understand what he says, but he says there, to me, the values of diversity, equality, inclusion, DEI, are literally the core strengths of America.

00:13:56.360 It starts at the top with the vice president.

00:13:59.960 I mean, he said that she's the very embodiment of DEI.

00:14:03.060 That's him talking.

00:14:05.340 Now, Democrats are pretending Joe Biden never said any of that.

00:14:08.040 They're pretending they never demanded that Joe Biden pick a black woman during the summer of George Floyd.

00:14:13.640 There are obvious signs of weakness here that Republicans can exploit.

00:14:17.140 Democrats understand that their policies simply aren't popular among normal people.

00:14:20.720 They understand that nobody wants rampant homelessness or DEI hiring or unchecked illegal immigration or rioters who wave terrorist flags while assaulting police officers.

00:14:30.780 They understand that leftist policies actively make people's lives worse.

00:14:34.820 They actively destroy the well-being of millions of people in ways that we don't have to even, that are ways that are so obvious that we don't have to twist ourselves into knots to explain it.

00:14:46.200 Whereas on the other side, of course, the left will claim that conservative policies destroy American lives.

00:14:51.160 But when you look around, you don't see, well, how is this destroying anything?

00:14:54.460 So they have to really come up with abstract ways to say, oh, well, this is ruining your life in this way.

00:15:02.820 But in the reverse, it's quite obvious.

00:15:06.680 Leftist policies when it comes to homelessness.

00:15:08.720 Like, if you live in a community run by a Democrat, if you live in a Democrat-run city,

00:15:14.600 I don't have to tell you why their approach to homelessness is making your life worse.

00:15:19.280 You just walk outside your house and you can see it.

00:15:21.520 And that's why, with just a few months to go until the election, Democrats are pretending to disavow all of those things.

00:15:29.520 And they'll do this, you know, they do this all the time before elections.

00:15:32.100 Normally, it works.

00:15:34.460 This time, though, they're saddled with the single least authentic politician imaginable.

00:15:38.880 Kamala Harris, of all people, is trying to convince Americans that she's tough on left-wing rioters and illegal immigration. 1.00

00:15:44.720 She's using Gavin Newsom's stick with a fraction of his charisma.

00:15:47.840 And the reason Democrats are panicking right now as they look at the polls is that they realize most people can see right through it.

00:15:57.020 Now let's get to our five headlines.

00:16:48.540 That's gcu.edu.

00:16:49.880 So we've talked this week about the conversation surrounding the fact that Kamala Harris is childless and how that reflects on her and what it says about her.

00:16:59.120 We've talked about it, but we should note that the conversation has been driven almost entirely by people who are mad that we're talking about it.

00:17:04.400 It's been about 5% people like me discussing it and 95% people on the other side who are angry that we're talking about it.

00:17:11.200 And a lot of the anger has been directed at J.D. Vance, who three years ago, in an interview with Tucker Carlson, said that the Democrat Party is run by childless cat ladies.

00:17:20.540 And he wasn't even specifically talking about Kamala Harris.

00:17:22.300 He was just, she's one of the people that's an example of that.

00:17:25.320 But he was just, this is a general observation of a Democrat Party.

00:17:29.500 So this was said in 2021.

00:17:33.040 But today, lots of leftists are pretending to be really upset about it.

00:17:36.120 And now Jennifer Aniston has jumped into the fray.

00:17:40.040 CBS News reports, quote,

00:17:42.800 Actress Jennifer Aniston hit back a Republican vice presidential nominee, J.D. Vance, for past comments he made about lawmakers he described as childless cat ladies. 0.99

00:17:50.580 She said on a post on her Instagram,

00:17:52.760 I truly can't believe this is coming from a potential VP of the United States.

00:17:55.640 All I can say is, Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day.

00:18:00.340 I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option because you're trying to take that away from her, too.

00:18:06.120 Okay, so Jennifer Aniston has chimed in.

00:18:09.040 She's far from the only feminist to rant about this. 1.00

00:18:11.060 It's all over the place this week, as I noted.

00:18:13.860 And I just want to say a few things here.

00:18:17.140 And I'm not going to rehash the point about why it's bad to have childless people running the country. 1.00

00:18:20.340 We've already established that.

00:18:21.880 But let me just make a couple of points, of other points that I think are worth stating.

00:18:31.080 First of all, people like Aniston are being intentionally obtuse about this.

00:18:36.120 I think everyone understands.

00:18:37.740 Anytime this subject comes up, we deal with this.

00:18:40.280 But I think everyone understands, even if they pretend not to, that when we talk about childless cat ladies, quote unquote,

00:18:46.880 we're talking about people who choose to not have children.

00:18:51.420 Not people who can't have children. 0.99

00:18:53.120 Obviously, if you can't have kids, that's not any kind of character flaw.

00:18:57.180 It's not a reflection on you in any way.

00:18:59.740 I feel very sorry for people who want to have kids but can't.

00:19:03.340 I have a lot of sympathy for that.

00:19:04.860 We're not talking about it.

00:19:05.880 It's obviously not a—there's no judgment to be made about someone who can't have kids.

00:19:10.900 If you can't have kids, you can.

00:19:12.260 You physically can't.

00:19:13.220 Now, you could adopt, which is a great vocation.

00:19:17.580 Or, as I've said many times, you know, I think every adult is called to a—every woman has a maternal calling.

00:19:24.760 Every man has a paternal calling.

00:19:26.420 And for most, that is going to take the form of biological parenthood.

00:19:30.320 But not for everyone.

00:19:31.440 For some, it will take the form of adoption.

00:19:33.040 And for others, it might take some other form entirely.

00:19:37.640 But the point is that we're all called to serve, you know, as a man in a paternal role, as a woman in a maternal role.

00:19:47.420 So, that's my position.

00:19:49.020 I think that's the position of most people who talk about this on my side of it.

00:19:52.600 And the issue is not people who can't have kids.

00:19:54.580 I think every honest person understands that.

00:19:56.880 It's just not who we're talking about or to.

00:19:58.960 The issue is people who can't have kids but go through great lengths, and sometimes even murderous lengths, like killing their own children, to not have them.

00:20:07.580 And the birth rate is declining dramatically, like we talked about yesterday.

00:20:11.340 Not because, you know, people can't have kids.

00:20:14.500 Now, it's true that infertility is rising.

00:20:16.260 Sperm counts are dropping.

00:20:17.780 That's a big problem.

00:20:18.760 But that's not at all the main thing driving the plunge in the birth rate.

00:20:23.320 What's driving it are people making choices.

00:20:26.260 And I think that collectively, when people choose that they don't want to participate in the, you know, repopulation of the planet and the propagation of the species and creating families, like that's a bad thing.

00:20:40.720 That's bad when people make that choice, especially when they make that choice on a wide collective scale.

00:20:47.200 So, that's the first thing.

00:20:51.560 So, it just really annoys me.

00:20:53.480 In general, you know, you get so used to this, but people who intentionally miss the point, people who get hung up on, like, specific exceptions that, well, you're making this general point, but, you know, I'm an exception because of this.

00:21:05.740 Okay, well, if you're an exception, you're an exception.

00:21:08.240 Good for you that I guess I'm not talking about you.

00:21:10.140 What are you getting upset about?

00:21:11.100 Well, I'm an exception to what you're saying because I can't have kids.

00:21:15.760 Well, okay, well, then you're an exception that I'm not talking to you or about you.

00:21:19.640 No reason for you to be upset in that case.

00:21:22.900 J.D. Vance was not talking to you or about you, obviously.

00:21:27.340 One other thing, and this is more of a general point, but we keep hearing that this talk about how Kamala Harris is childless, other criticisms of her lifestyle and her character, pointing out that she slept her way to the top, which she did.

00:21:36.780 And calling her the DEI candidate, which she is, making jokes about her, which some people have done.

00:21:42.560 I'll admit that even I have done a few times, made some jokes about her.

00:21:46.160 And we keep hearing that this is going to alienate female voters. 1.00

00:21:49.140 Like, half of my feed on Twitter right now is conservatives lecturing other conservatives and telling us that we need to stop saying these things about Kamala because it's making women voters sad. 0.87

00:22:00.060 And women voters won't vote for Trump if we keep saying these things about Kamala that happen to be true. 0.96

00:22:05.960 In order to win women voters, we're told we need to stop saying true things about this woman because women voters hate true things, we're told. 0.88

00:22:18.340 And they can't stand jokes.

00:22:20.640 There's also a lot of, like, pearl clutching about jokes that are being made.

00:22:26.040 Oh, if you want to win women voters, you can't make these jokes. 0.99

00:22:28.420 You can't make jokes.

00:22:30.320 People ruthlessly make fun of male politicians all the time.

00:22:33.880 You never hear anyone say, oh, no, no, no, you can't make a joke about this politician.

00:22:38.920 He's a man.

00:22:40.240 And men will be sad if you do that.

00:22:42.160 They won't vote for you.

00:22:42.900 No one ever says that.

00:22:44.920 So we make jokes.

00:22:46.280 Name me a politician on the national level who has not been ruthlessly made fun of.

00:22:53.640 Name me a male politician on the national stage who has not been ruthlessly mocked, mostly by people on the other side of the aisle from him.

00:23:04.560 Can you name me one?

00:23:05.980 I mean, Donald Trump is not going to be an example that helps you, will he?

00:23:09.560 So then Kamala Harris comes along, and we make jokes about her, and suddenly, oh, no, you don't make jokes.

00:23:16.520 This is, well, you can't do that.

00:23:18.160 So what, we have to treat her?

00:23:19.080 It's like she's special?

00:23:19.960 We have to treat her as a special case? 0.99

00:23:23.320 Is that what you're saying?

00:23:25.880 Female politicians, we have to give them special treatment? 1.00

00:23:29.620 Oh, don't say that.

00:23:30.620 No, don't treat her like other politicians.

00:23:32.180 She'll, that, we don't, no, let's.

00:23:33.560 This is the claim.

00:23:37.480 The claim is that there are female voters out there, lots of them, supposedly, who would vote for Trump, but now they won't because they're mad about mean tweets sent by, not even by him, but by his supporters.

00:23:52.080 Even though most of those mean tweets are actually completely accurate.

00:23:55.800 Now, if you're saying this about female voters, you are the one infantilizing them. 1.00

00:24:00.520 You are treating women like they are stupid, overly emotional children. 1.00

00:24:05.700 Because, frankly, you would have to be a stupid, overly emotional child to actually vote against a candidate who you otherwise would vote for because you're mad about tweets and jokes from other people on Twitter. 1.00

00:24:22.980 Like, to make a decision, to make a voting decision that way is insane. 1.00

00:24:27.600 It's not just stupid. 1.00

00:24:28.440 It's crazy. 1.00

00:24:29.380 It's, like, suicidal, politically.

00:24:37.920 If you're a competent adult, you would not make decisions.

00:24:40.740 It wouldn't even occur to me to actually, like, there's someone that I am going to vote for, I support them, and then I see mean stuff from someone who's not even them, and I'm like, well, I'm not going to vote for them in that case.

00:24:52.000 That's crazy.

00:24:52.820 That would be a crazy way to make a decision.

00:24:54.680 But here's the thing.

00:24:58.520 I mean, I don't have that low of an opinion of women. 1.00

00:25:02.560 And I just, I'm not going to treat people.

00:25:04.740 Like, I am not going to infantilize people that way.

00:25:07.200 I just won't do it.

00:25:08.220 I won't.

00:25:09.420 I don't think we need to walk around on eggshells and completely change the way we talk about politics and have always talked about politics for thousands of years just to suit women voters.

00:25:20.900 I don't believe that.

00:25:24.260 I don't know any women like that. 1.00

00:25:25.820 Like, I don't know.

00:25:27.780 None of the women in my life would ever make a decision at the ballot box based on, like, they would never go through that thought process. 1.00

00:25:36.440 They would never say, oh, I really support this person.

00:25:38.360 I support their policies.

00:25:40.260 But I don't know.

00:25:40.800 Some of the people that support them are kind of mean.

00:25:42.520 I'm not going to vote.

00:25:43.220 I've never known a woman who would make a decision that way. 0.99

00:25:48.620 So, look, I'm not trying to pull the, you know, you're the real sexist card.

00:25:53.900 OK, I'm not I'm not saying that exactly.

00:25:56.080 I'm just saying that the idea that women are voting based on this kind of stuff is just I mean, it's incredibly it's it is demeaning. 0.76

00:26:03.000 I don't know how else to put it. 0.98

00:26:04.280 And I'll say this, too, that if there are any women out there or any men, if there are any people out there who are that shallow and ridiculous, then they aren't reachable. 0.92

00:26:15.500 OK, like if there are voters out there who the only way to reach them, the only way you could potentially reach them is to just. 0.87

00:26:23.260 Is to, like, avoid entire topics, the entire facts about a candidate you can't even bring up because it's going to if they're that shallow and ridiculous, then really they aren't reachable.

00:26:37.940 Like those are voters you just can't reach.

00:26:39.840 You have to write them off.

00:26:44.080 And I say this in general that, like. 1.00

00:26:46.960 Look, I mean, there are plenty of dumb people out there. 0.99

00:26:50.140 We know that men and women alike. 1.00

00:26:53.260 But. 0.98

00:26:55.640 At a certain extent, to a certain level, like if someone is so dumb, there's a certain level of dumbness that you just you can't you got to just write that off. 0.60

00:27:04.680 You can't appeal at that level, because if you do, then you then you risk alienating all the other people who you can reach. 0.64

00:27:15.400 So there's a certain level where you just have to say, all right, well, look, if that's how you're making your decisions, I can't nothing I can do for you.

00:27:21.060 I don't know.

00:27:21.700 I, you know, the problem that you're the problem, then I can't do anything about it.

00:27:25.560 And I'm not saying that that Trump himself should go out and go around, say, you know, the fact that Kamala Harris left her way to the top of the DEI candidate.

00:27:41.420 But I'm not saying that that should be Trump's primary argument against her.

00:27:44.700 It shouldn't be.

00:27:45.420 It's her policy, the policies that she supports and what a disaster they are for American families.

00:27:49.280 That is the argument.

00:27:50.340 But at the same time, these are other facts about her that are just true.

00:27:55.520 And the idea that we shouldn't talk about them and can't and can't mention them while every negative thing about Trump is is dredged up for everyone to see.

00:28:07.800 I just sorry, that's we're not going to that's not how the game is going to be played.

00:28:12.240 And I just don't believe the idea that that treating Kamala Harris with those kinds of kid gloves would somehow succeed in appealing to all these other voters who are reachable.

00:28:23.620 I don't believe it.

00:28:24.660 I think that's both is what I think.

00:28:26.660 And I think the people saying that you're not saying it because you think this is how Republicans are going to win.

00:28:30.920 It's because you don't want Republicans to win.

00:28:32.860 So I think you're full of is what I think.

00:28:37.340 Now.

00:28:39.360 Here's something that.

00:28:41.280 Should concern female voters, though, Kamala Harris appeared on RuPaul's drag race yesterday. 1.00

00:28:49.060 And let's watch that.

00:28:52.080 Hi, everyone.

00:28:52.860 It's Kamala Harris.

00:28:54.160 Each day we are seeing our rights and freedoms under attack, including the right of everyone to be who they are, love who they love openly and with pride.

00:29:07.200 So as we fight back against these attacks, let's all remember, no one is alone.

00:29:13.940 We are all in this together and your vote is your power.

00:29:18.540 So please make sure your voice is heard this November and register to vote at vote.gov.

00:29:25.780 Can I get an amen?

00:29:27.460 Amen.

00:29:29.300 Now on with the show.

00:29:31.080 And remember, you better vote.

00:29:33.480 OK, so there you go.

00:29:47.480 I mean, there's something that you should care about if you're a woman or a man.

00:29:52.720 The Democrat Party supports the degradation and appropriation of womanhood. 0.85

00:29:56.780 In fact, it supports the erasure of womanhood as a category. 0.97

00:30:02.160 So there's something you might think about, something worth caring about as a woman voter. 0.96

00:30:07.120 Again, men should care about it, too.

00:30:08.520 But like as a woman in particular, I would think the fact that one party thinks you don't exist.

00:30:14.900 They reject your biological existence.

00:30:19.160 Kind of a big deal, isn't it?

00:30:20.540 I would think.

00:30:23.880 So what's worse, a party where some people make crude jokes about a woman politician? 1.00

00:30:29.940 Or a party where nearly everyone in it denies that you exist as a biological entity?

00:30:38.080 I mean, what would you rather hear?

00:30:39.420 Mean jokes?

00:30:40.540 Would you rather hear mean jokes or exist?

00:30:45.040 OK, what's worse?

00:30:45.960 Let me put it this way.

00:30:46.880 What is worse?

00:30:47.380 To hear a mean joke or to not have your existence recognized.

00:30:53.920 What's the worst fate?

00:30:57.460 Now, I guess one advantage of not existing is that you won't hear the mean jokes anymore.

00:31:03.040 So, you know, is that the logic?

00:31:05.580 I don't know.

00:31:05.980 But, you know, I would think that this is a rather salient point and something that women voters might think about.

00:31:21.680 In fact, just to go to my classic move here.

00:31:25.840 I mean, all the Democrats out there saying that Kamala Harris is the first, might be the first woman president.

00:31:37.000 There's a question they can't answer.

00:31:38.820 You know what it is.

00:31:40.400 What is a woman president? 1.00

00:31:41.900 What is that exactly?

00:31:43.140 A what president?

00:31:44.780 What kind of president was that?

00:31:47.280 A what?

00:31:47.940 A woman? 0.80

00:31:48.760 A woman president? 1.00

00:31:50.000 What do you mean by that?

00:31:50.800 I don't know.

00:31:51.280 I don't know what you mean.

00:31:53.380 She's the first president.

00:31:54.460 What is that?

00:31:55.060 Is that some kind of woman? 1.00

00:31:56.400 What is that?

00:31:56.820 Is that some kind of what is that?

00:31:58.340 Is that is that is that Spanish?

00:32:00.420 I don't know.

00:32:00.640 What is that word there?

00:32:01.340 I don't know.

00:32:01.620 What does that word mean?

00:32:03.520 Can you tell me?

00:32:04.360 You can't.

00:32:06.020 OK.

00:32:07.420 So if you're a woman independent voter and you're trying to decide you don't know.

00:32:12.060 Well, just keep in mind that the side that has put up this this woman, potential woman president, they can't even tell you what that means.

00:32:20.360 And it's worse than that, because it's not that they don't know.

00:32:23.280 It's that they do know they could tell you what a woman is. 0.99

00:32:28.160 But they have decided for ideological reasons to pretend that you don't actually exist.

00:32:35.740 And I don't know.

00:32:41.080 Like, I know I'm a man and I and I and I there I'll admit that there are many aspects of the way the female mind works that I find mysterious, even as a man who's been who's been married and has six kids.

00:32:55.920 But I do think that there are certain things that we should all be able to relate on.

00:33:06.120 And one of them is that, like, it's really important that your political leaders are willing to acknowledge that you physically exist.

00:33:18.600 And if you have political leaders who won't acknowledge that and feel like they can't because they're ideologically beholden to, you know, this crazy idea.

00:33:28.920 Well, that's a real problem.

00:33:30.740 Let's talk about something not political.

00:33:34.360 Here's here's something good.

00:33:35.940 It's a bit big news.

00:33:37.860 Good news, actually.

00:33:39.740 Way outside the realm of politics, although I'm sure someone could find a way to politicize it.

00:33:44.040 Southwest Airlines is doing away with its open seating policy that's loved by loyalists and loathed by others.

00:33:48.740 The airline announced on Thursday that it will begin assigning seats and offering premium seating, marking a major departure from one of the airline's most famous practices.

00:33:57.260 The company's updates also include plans to redesign the boarding model and introduce red-eye flights.

00:34:03.280 Southwest says the decision to assign seats came after conducting extensive research on customers' needs.

00:34:08.920 Quote, the airline said in a press release, quote, the airline has been known for its unique open seating model for more than 50 years,

00:34:13.460 but preferences have evolved with more customers taking longer flights where the seat assignment is preferred.

00:34:18.740 So they're going to get rid of, you know, it's a big, big change.

00:34:22.920 And it's good that they're making this change.

00:34:24.380 It's about time.

00:34:25.200 The free-for-all method of boarding needed to change.

00:34:28.840 There was just too much equality on a Southwest flight.

00:34:31.880 That's the problem.

00:34:33.240 That's why I never flew Southwest anymore.

00:34:35.720 I used to, and I stopped flying it because too much equality.

00:34:39.460 I hate equality.

00:34:41.060 You know, I don't, it's, equality is not what you want.

00:34:43.540 When you, when you find, in fact, when you find equality imposed in this really artificial way, it's almost always bad.

00:34:52.140 And, and so what happens on Southwest?

00:34:54.340 It's like, this is, it's a, it's a metaphor for society.

00:34:56.800 Everyone, they're imposing equality.

00:34:58.880 What happens is everyone gets an equally crappy seat on Southwest.

00:35:02.000 No comfort plus, no first class, you know.

00:35:07.960 And I, I like for the plane to be, to have a bit of, more of a hierarchy.

00:35:12.060 I'll admit.

00:35:13.420 That's the way it should be.

00:35:14.560 So if you want to pay for, have better seating, you should be able to do that, in my opinion.

00:35:20.540 Although I will say that back when I did fly Southwest, I got very good at making sure that nobody chose the middle seat next to me.

00:35:26.660 There's a real, there's an art to that.

00:35:30.340 You can argue that one of the benefits of open seating is that there is some strategy that comes into play.

00:35:38.060 It makes the boarding process maybe a little bit more exciting.

00:35:40.860 And, you know, you know, you pick your, your seat on the end or the aisle or window, and then you, you, you have to wait as the C group people start boarding.

00:35:51.980 The dregs of humanity in the C group, the rejects and mutants in the C group, you know, those, once those people start coming on, you just know when they're coming, they start lumbering on the C group. 0.50

00:36:04.340 You're like, oh, great.

00:36:04.920 Here comes the C group.

00:36:05.940 And these are all the, they're going to be all the middle seat people and you have to protect the middle seat next to you.

00:36:12.220 So you have more room on the flight.

00:36:13.360 So I would just, you know, I just glare at people and I have the advantage of always looking angry anyway, even when I'm not.

00:36:19.580 So when I want to look angry, I think I can kind of really dial it up and you just go glare at people when they walk on and you just mutter under your breath as they're walking past you.

00:36:27.500 Like, don't, don't do it.

00:36:30.240 Don't sit here. 1.00

00:36:31.120 You son of a bitch. 1.00

00:36:33.540 It usually worked. 1.00

00:36:34.320 And if you have to pull out the big guns, you can always start eating an onion bagel with cream cheese.

00:36:39.960 That'll scare people away.

00:36:41.540 But now you don't have to do that anymore on Southwest.

00:36:43.400 You can just pick your seat like a civilized person and board and have your seat.

00:36:49.720 All right, moving on to a little bit back to politics.

00:36:53.140 Unfortunately, this is.

00:36:55.260 I just I can't ignore this kind of thing.

00:36:58.620 I have to at least mention it, even though there's not much to be said about it.

00:37:01.600 Really, more evidence that the media simply has no shame at all.

00:37:07.060 So listen to this from Politico.

00:37:08.780 Quote, the Secret Service was already facing its biggest crisis in decades following the narrowly avoided assassination of Donald Trump.

00:37:15.880 Now it has a major new task, protecting Kamala Harris, not just as the sitting vice president, but as the likely Democratic presidential nominee.

00:37:24.160 And the security risks facing Harris are indeed greater simply because of who she is as a woman and a person of color.

00:37:30.340 And the agency is almost certainly taking that into account.

00:37:33.020 That's according to Jeff James, who worked in the Secret Service for 22 years and resigned in 2018 after rising to the rank of assistant special agent in charge.

00:37:41.180 Over the course of his career, the agency James served on President George W.

00:37:44.020 Bush's protective detail and pitched in from time to time to protect Trump while he was in office.

00:37:48.320 James is now the president of Capital Security Consultants, a firm that provides risk assessment and security training.

00:37:52.540 I think you'd be surprised, he said, quote, how many people in 2024 still have a very closed mindset and think the president should be a white Christian male and anything outside of that is unacceptable?

00:38:03.360 Yes, in case you're wondering, this article was written in July, in July, it was written on July 25th, yesterday.

00:38:10.720 Okay, so this is, as it's mentioned in the opening paragraph, this is after Trump was shot in the head.

00:38:18.500 After an actual assassination attempt on a white Christian male politician, Politico ran an article claiming the real threat is against black women.

00:38:28.760 After a white Christian male is shot in the head, they tell us that white Christian males are the safest ones of all. 0.97

00:38:37.600 Now, this is the kind of just erasing of very recent history that you find with the media, and there's going to be so much more of it, and so much more of it that will always take the form, of course, of demonizing white males.

00:38:55.960 Because that's what we're really going to see in the, for all the talk about how women are being supposedly treated so badly during this election. 0.99

00:39:06.820 No, it's going to be white men who are demonized and scapegoated, like it always is. 0.97

00:39:13.640 Okay, it's always white men. 0.89

00:39:14.960 In the mainstream of society, the institutions that control everything, media, Hollywood, government, if any group specifically is going to be demonized, it's going to be white men and nobody else. 0.61

00:39:29.640 Those are the ones.

00:39:31.920 Okay, you might see mean Twitter comments about other groups sometimes, you might see, but that's always on the fringes.

00:39:36.660 It's always voices that you could just not listen to, and it wouldn't matter.

00:39:40.840 There's always voices that you, like, if that annoys you, you can block them on Twitter, you'll never hear them again.

00:39:45.940 Because they're not anywhere else.

00:39:49.840 The powerful voices in society, the ones that you can't just block, unfortunately, okay, if they're going to demonize and scapegoat a group, it's always going to be white men.

00:39:59.000 And again, nobody else, which is why, not to bring us back to the beginning here, but, you know, we hear so much about how Republicans need to appeal to women, and they need to appeal to black voters, and they need to appeal to Hispanics.

00:40:19.700 And yes, yes, you want to appeal to all those groups.

00:40:24.320 You want to appeal to all voters, right?

00:40:28.200 Everyone's vote counts.

00:40:29.160 You want every vote you can get.

00:40:30.860 And yes, you want to appeal to all those groups.

00:40:34.760 But no one ever says, no one ever points out that, oh, you know what, you also need to appeal to white men.

00:40:43.180 You should also appeal to them.

00:40:44.560 Not only should you appeal to them, but that is your base.

00:40:47.400 That is the group that will actually decide, Republicans, whether you win or lose in November.

00:40:56.460 Trump will win if he can mobilize white males, especially in the key states.

00:41:02.740 That's how he wins.

00:41:04.620 That is actually the group that will decide.

00:41:07.800 If enough of them are mobilized to go out and actually vote for you, you'll win.

00:41:11.820 But things are so insane that you can't even point that out without it being, it's somehow controversial to even say that, even though we know it's all true.

00:41:23.460 We all know it's true.

00:41:24.800 And meanwhile, Republicans, they will specifically appeal.

00:41:29.820 They'll put out specific appeals to black voters, Hispanic voters, women.

00:41:36.820 And when I say specific appeals, it means like they'll go out, they'll give speeches.

00:41:40.220 They'll say, oh, this is what I'm going to do for black Americans.

00:41:44.180 This is what I'm going to do for Hispanics.

00:41:46.680 This is what I'm doing for women. 1.00

00:41:50.220 You know, I love black Americans.

00:41:52.280 I love Hispanics.

00:41:53.080 I love women. 1.00

00:41:53.620 They will say that.

00:41:55.320 They will say that explicitly.

00:41:58.220 Fine.

00:42:00.120 No problem with that.

00:42:02.200 The problem is that they will never say that ever about white men.

00:42:06.780 You will never hear one of these Republicans get up and say, oh, you know what?

00:42:10.040 And here's and also white men are extremely important to this country.

00:42:18.440 They've built much of this country.

00:42:20.600 We need white men. 0.92

00:42:22.020 We support white men. 0.96

00:42:23.880 White men are demonized so much unfairly.

00:42:27.000 And if you're a white man, I want you to know that I want your vote.

00:42:30.720 You know, I disagree with the ways that you have been demonized and scapegoated.

00:42:36.400 It is unfair.

00:42:37.100 It's wrong.

00:42:37.860 I want you to vote for me.

00:42:39.680 The Republicans will not say that.

00:42:40.960 They will not say that.

00:42:43.280 And you cannot tell me that, oh, well, it's because we don't want to play identity politics.

00:42:48.040 They're doing it with every other group, though.

00:42:49.380 They will specifically name every other group except that one.

00:42:52.980 They're main group.

00:42:56.360 Democrats don't do that. 0.95

00:42:58.480 They know who their base is.

00:43:01.260 Right.

00:43:01.780 They know who they need to mobilize.

00:43:02.860 And they will specifically, by name, make appeals to that group and say, we want you.

00:43:09.400 We want your vote.

00:43:12.420 Republicans won't.

00:43:13.200 And it is, again, suicidal.

00:43:19.740 And like, what are you worried about?

00:43:22.740 Are you worried if you say that?

00:43:25.060 That the media is going to attack you and call you racist?

00:43:27.380 Yeah.

00:43:27.840 Well, they're going to do it anyway.

00:43:28.740 You know, and let them try that.

00:43:34.580 That would be a great news cycle for, you know, if Trump were to come out and say, white men, white men are great. 0.80

00:43:41.000 Help build this country.

00:43:42.020 We want their vote.

00:43:42.580 They should not be demonized.

00:43:44.580 If you were to say, yeah, yeah, the media is going to turn around and say, oh, look, he's talking to the Nazis and the white supremacists.

00:43:52.500 Let them try to pull that card because then we can easily point out, oh, you're saying we're not allowed to even acknowledge the existence of white men. 0.64

00:43:58.040 Is that what you're saying?

00:43:59.860 That's an easy argument to win.

00:44:03.160 So, I don't know.

00:44:04.320 With all this talk we hear about every other group and what we have to do to appeal to them and how important they are, like, you know, there's one other group out there that exists and that will determine the election in many ways.

00:44:19.180 It's okay to acknowledge that.

00:44:22.500 In fact, it is not okay to not acknowledge that.

00:44:26.160 Are you still struggling with back taxes or unfiled returns?

00:45:41.480 After more than two years, Daily Wire Backstage Live is making its return to the legendary Ryman Auditorium.

00:45:46.840 August 14th, join us live in our hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, one night on one iconic stage with one incredible opportunity to witness Daily Wire history in the making.

00:45:56.560 I'll be there along with Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles, Andrew Klavan, Jeremy Boring, and a whole lineup of surprise guests.

00:46:01.700 Trust me, you don't want to miss this.

00:46:03.220 So here's the catch.

00:46:04.640 The Ryman only holds about 2,000 people, and this will sell out.

00:46:07.960 It's been two years since our last Backstage Live at the Ryman, and who knows when we'll do it again.

00:46:11.420 So go to dailywire.com slash Ryman and grab your tickets now.

00:46:15.540 Now let's get to our daily cancellation.

00:46:23.460 You know, part of being a thinking person as opposed to an automaton is the capacity for self-reflection.

00:46:28.200 We aren't goldfish.

00:46:29.380 We don't have to live moment by moment.

00:46:31.720 We could take a step back and analyze what we were saying or what we were thinking a long time ago,

00:46:35.880 and then we could take a look at how things have turned out.

00:46:38.640 Do the results align with what we thought they'd be?

00:46:41.700 If not, maybe it's time to reassess our ideology and our worldview.

00:46:44.800 If we were horribly wrong about, say, trusting a certain person, then we should use that experience to inform how we trust other people going forward.

00:46:52.480 But if our past thoughts do align with reality, if we predicted that someone would be a horrible father and a narcissistic manipulator,

00:46:58.660 and they ultimately turn out just as we expected, then it's a clear sign we're on the right track.

00:47:04.240 When we can spot evil and malicious people from a mile away, even when everyone else is claiming there's nothing wrong,

00:47:10.080 then we could say with a high degree of confidence that our ideology is the right one.

00:47:13.720 It's steering us in the right direction.

00:47:15.860 Everyone telling us to shut up was, in the end, knowingly or not, complicit.

00:47:20.240 We should never listen to them again.

00:47:21.540 That brings me to a monologue I did about a year and a half ago on the so-called gender transition of the social media celebrity Chris Tyson.

00:47:29.900 If you're not familiar with Tyson, it's probably because you're over the age of 30,

00:47:32.880 but Tyson is a 28-year-old man who worked alongside the YouTube star Mr. Beast for more than a decade.

00:47:37.980 Mr. Beast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, of course, is extremely popular, to put it mildly,

00:47:42.980 he has more subscribers than any other account on YouTube at over 300 million,

00:47:47.060 which is more than Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, and the Disney channel combined times two.

00:47:52.660 That's just his YouTube channel.

00:47:53.860 Mr. Beast also has more than 100 million followers on TikTok, where he's one of the top three accounts.

00:47:58.120 And the vast majority of these followers are kids.

00:48:00.520 And most of the videos that Mr. Beast uploads are, you know, pretty kid-friendly, pretty innocuous, reality TV-inspired fluff.

00:48:07.080 They have titles like, I built 100 houses and gave them away.

00:48:09.760 And if you can carry a million dollars, you can keep it.

00:48:13.100 These are generally age-appropriate, kid-friendly videos, even if they are a little hyperactive,

00:48:17.420 overstimulating, often rather vapid and obnoxious, but, you know, unobjectual for the most part.

00:48:23.840 A little over a year ago, the content began to change.

00:48:25.960 The subject matter stayed the same, but Chris Tyson began wearing women's clothing.

00:48:30.320 He changed his name to Ava, started identifying as a woman.

00:48:34.160 Tyson claimed all these changes were somehow for the benefit of his family, including his wife and young son.

00:48:38.640 He pretended he was doing the right thing.

00:48:40.460 But as I said at the time, that was obviously a lie.

00:48:43.500 First of all, of course, people can't change their sex. 1.00

00:48:46.200 That's the basic problem.

00:48:47.920 But even if people somehow could change their sex, it's too late to do that once you start a family. 0.90

00:48:53.040 The window has closed.

00:48:54.680 At that point, you're affecting other people, people you have an obligation to support and to raise.

00:48:59.720 That's in addition to friends and business partners and everybody else.

00:49:02.120 So a father and husband transitioning, quote-unquote, is doing something so wrong, so twisted, so evil, 1.00

00:49:07.100 that even if he did actually possess the supernatural power to become another sex, he would still be morally wrong for doing it.

00:49:14.680 As it happens, though, he is both morally and factually wrong.

00:49:18.780 He should not transition. 1.00

00:49:20.900 He also cannot actually transition.

00:49:23.020 Chris Tyson, by renouncing his manhood to fulfill his fetish, rejected all of his obligations to everyone in his life who depended on him,

00:49:29.740 starting with his wife and his kids.

00:49:31.980 And so inevitably, he destroyed his family.

00:49:34.080 His marriage fell apart.

00:49:34.900 His wife left him.

00:49:35.600 He began posting disturbing content online, including a photograph of his two-year-old son wearing heels,

00:49:40.480 with a caption indicating that his son had, quote, chosen to slay this morning.

00:49:45.060 Tyson's fetish was so clearly an illness, a depraved one, that it began to negatively impact Mr. Beast's channel as well,

00:49:51.160 through constant media attention.

00:49:53.560 But through it all, Mr. Beast endorsed what Chris Tyson was doing.

00:49:56.560 He also attacked anyone who saw a problem with any of it.

00:49:58.700 He called any of the criticism of Tyson transphobic and bigoted.

00:50:02.980 And as a result, Tyson's narcissistic transition sent the message to millions of impressionable children

00:50:07.760 that his behavior was somehow normal and acceptable.

00:50:09.800 And the thing about lies is that the more absurd and unbelievable they get, the harder they are to sustain over time.

00:50:16.940 And so predictably, this week, this particular lie has come crashing down around Mr. Beast and Chris Tyson.

00:50:23.420 There are new allegations that Chris Tyson sent sexually inappropriate messages to a minor,

00:50:27.840 and now he's been fired from Mr. Beast's channel.

00:50:30.220 As the New York Post reports, YouTube star Mr. Beast has broken his silence on the allegations of a grooming a minor

00:50:34.820 against his former co-host, Ava Chris Tyson.

00:50:37.280 Tyson, 28 this week, announced that he's quitting the popular channel after he was accused of sending inappropriate messages

00:50:42.860 to a then 13-year-old when he was 20.

00:50:45.720 In turn, Mr. Beast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, said that he will no longer be working with Tyson.

00:50:50.260 Before I go any further, I have to note that in that article from the New York Post,

00:50:54.320 I changed it, but actually they refer to Chris Tyson repeatedly as a she.

00:50:59.320 So they're still affirming this guy's delusion.

00:51:01.460 We're at the point where major media outlets in this country are disregarding one of the most fundamental tenets of biology,

00:51:06.840 not to mention grammar, in favor of legitimizing the fetish of a failed father who's now accused of grooming children.

00:51:15.900 This is something we have to call out whenever we see it because of how absurd it is.

00:51:20.220 It's not possible for people to transition.

00:51:22.520 Overwhelmingly, when this happens, it's a symptom of autogynephilia,

00:51:27.840 which is when males are sexually aroused by the thought of being women.

00:51:32.900 They are identifying as women, not because they actually think they are women,

00:51:36.540 but because they get a thrill out of pretending to be.

00:51:40.360 And that is not something that merits changing the English language or throwing out the entire concept of human biology.

00:51:48.140 And when a man sacrifices his family in pursuit of this desire,

00:51:52.820 he should be judged harshly for that.

00:51:56.660 But apparently the New York Post disagrees.

00:51:58.940 And for his part, Mr. Beast wrote on Twitter,

00:52:00.300 Over the last few days, I've become aware of the serious allegations of Ava Tyson's behavior,

00:52:05.000 and I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts.

00:52:07.600 During that time, I have been focused on hiring an independent third party

00:52:10.160 to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure I have all the facts.

00:52:12.880 That said, I've seen enough online and taken immediate action to remove Ava from my channel

00:52:17.020 and my company and any association with Mr. Beast.

00:52:19.440 I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions.

00:52:21.720 I will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation

00:52:25.880 and will take any further actions based on their findings.

00:52:28.700 Now, some of the allegations involve alleged inappropriate messages sent on Snapchat

00:52:33.520 that contain, among other things, sexual innuendo.

00:52:36.520 And apparently one of the alleged victims, who uses the name Lava GS and who is now 20 years old,

00:52:41.760 has written that Chris, quote,

00:52:42.820 Never did anything wrong and just made a few edgy jokes I was never exploited or taken advantage of.

00:52:47.860 That's what this person claims now.

00:52:50.100 But another individual has come forward and alleged that Chris Tyson did indeed prey upon, quote-unquote,

00:52:54.780 him when he was 15 years old and he was doing unpaid work for Chris.

00:52:58.260 The second alleged victim also claims that Chris made Lava GS sign an NDA and may have paid him off.

00:53:04.760 Watch.

00:53:05.000 Chris Tyson from Mr. Beast used me and manipulated me and did very inappropriate things with me while I was about 15 years old.

00:53:12.700 I was actually friends with Lava GS at the time, who is the main victim of Chris that everyone has been talking about these last few days,

00:53:19.000 who claims he isn't a victim, but we all know he is and we all know he probably got paid off.

00:53:23.560 Not only that, but he's also under an NDA from when he worked for Mr. Beast Gaming for two years

00:53:27.740 and he tried to get me to join Mr. Beast Gaming himself, Lava.

00:53:31.780 He's the one who actually sent me the contract and tried to get me to sign the NDA.

00:53:35.520 He would also frequently bring up sexual topics that was definitely not appropriate to bring up around 15, 16 year olds,

00:53:41.880 especially with him being like, I don't know, 20, 21 years old.

00:53:44.820 He would even go as far as linking me several different corn and hentai videos throughout the time of me talking with him.

00:53:53.700 Now, obviously, I'm not in a position to verify or refute any of the specific accusations here.

00:53:58.820 I, you know, I have no specific information one way or another.

00:54:02.520 There's been no court case.

00:54:03.620 No jury has found that Chris Tyson did something inappropriate, much less illegal with minors.

00:54:08.260 In his own defense, Tyson has said that he, quote, never groomed anyone.

00:54:10.760 But he also wrote that he apologizes, quote, to anyone I have hurt with my unacceptable social media posts,

00:54:15.460 past actions, and to those who may feel betrayed by how I used to act online.

00:54:18.900 So he's saying he's denying it, but he's also apologizing for doing unacceptable things.

00:54:24.740 He's also leaving the door open to more accusers.

00:54:27.080 He's also, again, not really denying most of the accusations against him if you parse what he's saying carefully.

00:54:33.000 So there may be more to come on this.

00:54:34.580 It's still developing.

00:54:35.340 We'll follow it as it does and we'll follow the evidence where it leads.

00:54:38.320 But here's the important point.

00:54:42.120 We don't even need the grooming allegations to know that Chris Tyson is a bad guy.

00:54:47.480 All of these additional accusations, if true, would be confirmation of what every sane person understood more than a year ago.

00:54:54.080 Chris Tyson's so-called transition by itself inevitably did so much damage to his family, to his business partner, to his audience,

00:55:01.000 that he should have been terminated at the time.

00:55:03.520 He should have been shunned entirely back then.

00:55:05.540 And parents should have stopped letting their children watch this content.

00:55:09.940 Chris Tyson's decision to commit his life to his fetish was always a sign of a deeply disordered, narcissistic mode of thought

00:55:17.500 that's totally incompatible with decency or morality.

00:55:20.580 It's only because of mountains of propaganda and not indoctrination that more people couldn't see all of this coming well in advance.

00:55:30.260 And even now, that propaganda is continuing.

00:55:32.000 The Rolling Stone, for example, initially ran this headline in their coverage of the story.

00:55:35.180 Quote,

00:55:35.860 Ava Chris Tyson steps away from all things Mr. Beast amid transphobic attacks.

00:55:41.000 Yes, transphobic attacks.

00:55:44.100 And he's being accused of being inappropriate and grooming minors.

00:55:47.120 That's transphobic, apparently.

00:55:51.280 This is always the line that they use to shut down obvious and legitimate observations about clearly disordered behavior.

00:55:56.760 They don't attack Chris Tyson.

00:55:58.260 They attack you.

00:55:59.600 And they do this because most of the time it works.

00:56:01.660 They think that most people are as spineless and vapid as Mr. Beast is, and maybe they're right about that.

00:56:05.960 People don't want to be called a nasty name, so they're, you know, fine with the guy who wears women's clothing and sexualizes his own children, as he did with that one photograph.

00:56:18.040 For what it's worth, as the allegations piled up, Rolling Stone quietly changed their headline to read,

00:56:22.480 Mr. Beast launches independent investigation amid Ava Chris Tyson allegations.

00:56:26.040 I guess I realize that this particular case is beyond saving at this point, or maybe more hopefully,

00:56:32.600 it's a sign that accusations of quote-unquote transphobia just don't work as well as they used to.

00:56:38.060 Maybe people, even people who read Rolling Stone, are tired of being personally attacked because they make basic, obvious observations about these people.

00:56:45.760 When children supposedly transition, it's invariably a tragedy that involves a heavy dose of indoctrination and failed parenting.

00:56:56.040 But when adults supposedly transition, they are betraying their own families in a fit of unrestrained narcissism.

00:57:04.640 And unrestrained narcissism never ends well.

00:57:08.720 In Chris Tyson's case, the narcissism continues to this day.

00:57:11.520 He's continuing to try to sell the fantasy that he's a woman.

00:57:14.020 He still has his little she-her pronouns on social media.

00:57:17.160 He's still using his fake name.

00:57:19.180 He's still fully committed to the delusion that has destroyed his life and the life of many others,

00:57:23.580 most importantly, his children, his wife.

00:57:27.660 Mr. Beast's content may not have much value to people over the age of, say, 15,

00:57:33.580 but at the same time, the downfall of Chris Tyson should be very instructive to everyone

00:57:37.920 who didn't see this exact scenario playing out a year and a half ago.

00:57:41.560 And if you're in that boat, think about why you didn't see this coming.

00:57:46.660 Think about why you cowered in response to allegations of transphobia to the point where you didn't see what was obviously happening.

00:57:54.140 And then make sure it never happens to you again.

00:57:55.880 And that is why Chris Tyson and all of his defenders, now or in the past, are today canceled.

00:58:06.240 That'll do it for the show today.

00:58:07.000 Thanks for watching.
